"Nobody has to tell you you know what it is and then you turn a corner. Narratives the lion. You know it. Nobody has to tell you. Now that doesn't have to be label on a cage doesn't have to be a scientist as the lion lady. No no you know what it you know it without the main without details as soon as you heard that rule you know. That's the lion. There's no need anybody to tell you more than that. But that's how it was if you've never seen a champion a warrior osama i if you've never seen them before all you had to watch this fight that's all nobody had to tell you. You just watched his fight and just like you look and you go in that cage around that cage. You see the lion and you'd say daddy as the lion you look at that you would say daddy. That's a warrior daddy. That's a samurai daddy. That's a champion. That's all you had to. That's that's it. Nothing else just by their behavior just by their raw. That's it and that's what i saw. That's what i took from this. I mean as far as breakdown in my world way could break down fighting and boxing and striking striking part of it as exactly what you said. I mean you had spoken out sqi in control and he was. He was winning the fight winning the rounds dominating in some spots and then all of a sudden he made a mistake he made a mistake with great fighter with otake and he makes a mistake where i forget if he was gonna kick all catching a kick but there was a little space and he left himself vulnerable little exposed and he gets caught a straight punch against dropped. And that's it. That's the opening a bank right on it. And he gets into his world he gets down on the floor on a mat and like you said he gets them into one of these submission holds and it's supposed to be lights out except nobody told volkan hausky lights stole go out in my house. Light stole get turned down a house. Ask my family as my friends who come over lights always on. They might flick a little bit but they're never shut off. I don't shut lights off. And he did what you said. He went into the convulsion type. Move but he knew what was to. He knew he knew what he wasn't doing. He wasn't submitting. He wasn't going along for the right. He's gonna find a way. Because all the things i just said because of the code because of the cold and he did and then. That's not enough. That would have been enough to make it a great great fight. That wasn't enough. Then he goes into attacking into the ground and pound. He's on top of ortega hitting with elbows forums. Punches fest. I mean oh thank god nobody. Has anyone like oh i mean because by accident he would head him with. He's hitting them with everything and all the lights out in his house either lights out in his house and he just barely survives and then they go at it. Glad it again another round and then the same thing folk canal skis control and things stand up and then all of a sudden all of a sudden what happens. he's on top of ms crowded impounded. Look like it's going to end it again. Grabbed an empathic but ortega just refuses submit most surrender and he's hitting with all the shots unbelievable and all of a sudden like a python out of a tree all my god like like look like a boa constrictor. The legs go round his neck off all my legs. Most powerful part of our body goes around the neck and it's over it's over. No it's not. No you forgot who these guys are. It's no it's not over solve it. It's gotta be it's gotta be it has to be over it as the b over. No no no there is no of now with these guys there. No of and he gets out of that and then he goes back to the ground and pound and the guys will take take an all that punishment all that punishment as losing a fight but he. He came this close to winning it. And then you figure it's over. It's not over the knicks fifth round. Goes on after all that all of that. And what is your take it to. We win surround. How's it possible he does. It's not physically possible but it but it's it's possible if you believe if you believe you prepare yourself mentally physically. Of course the great shape but mentally. You're willing to go to the dogs caverns of yourself. The dog is crevices of yourself. Really we will have caves inside ourselves. We're we're an endless cave is just. How far do you go into that cave. Really how far you go and search how far these guys made themselves for me. Besides everything. I said they made themselves and put themselves on a list of of great great discoveries. You know some of the. I'm trying to remember one. Just see here. What i mean. Just great explorers. That's the word i was looking for. They put themselves on a list of great explores where you know an explorers searching and willing to go to new unseen places scary places but to discover..

Simone Biles: 'I Blame the System That Enabled Larry Nassar's Abuse'
"Before we begin our next segment. We note that we will be discussing sexual abuse the testimony. On capitol hill yesterday was both angry and anguished for usa gymnastics athletes said law enforcement including the fbi ignored them and lied about them when they said they were abused by former team. Doctor and convicted sex offender. Larry nassar simone. Biles was one of the women who testified to be clear. I blame larry nassar and i also blame an entire system that enabled perpetrated his joining us. Now is marissa witkowski hausky. She's an investigative journalist for usa today. Who began covering the abuse scandal years ago at the indianapolis star. It's been six years since usa gymnastics heard the first allegations. And it's been five years since you and other journalists at the indianapolis star began reporting on this listening to yesterday's testimonies. What stood out to you. What lawmakers heard yesterday was the continued frustration of survivors. Who felt that their allegations against larry nassar had not been taken seriously enough. They had been calling for change in calling for accountability for the failures of usa gymnastics of the us olympic and paralympic committee and of the fbi former olympic gymnast michaela maroney in her testimony directly. Blame the fbi for not acting fast enough to stop by larry nassar. Here's her testimony. What is the point of reporting abuse if our own. Fbi agents are going to take it upon themselves to bury that report in a drawer.

"What he is able to play for us. In those moments in terms of what's beneath the surface in terms of what simmering resentments. Class race circumstance. It's really powerful performance and it was one that almost burned brighter than the show itself. Which like many serialized shows kind of had to keep it moving onto the next criminal and the next circumstance and it was really really special performance. And of course we should. I mean omar. Little is one of top ten tv characters of all time We did back at grantland. We did a bracket tournament over wire characters. And i believe while we were doing it right. Didn't bill interview president obama and ask him his vote and he voted for omar and the country followed suit at the end of it. I got to talk back back when we get a line on certain topics exactly the country type. I got to talk to michael briefly on the phone about the results. Like about him winning it and he was just so warm and so fun to talk to and the thing that was thrilling for me obviously is a superfan but i think kind of thrilling for anyone who had this opportunity to be around him or even here is interviews. Is he loved it. Yeah he was not too cool for this. He thought it was so incredible. He was so flattered because he loved the character he loved the character to you know and it's just a beautiful thing and it's just you know i think all we can say is like anyone just wish wishing love and peace to his family and everyone who loved him and there are a lot of people who loved him absolutely. Well we can we get hit. You wanna hit matrix. You want to talk about this. I think we should so the long way to matrix. Resurrection trailer dropped today. It's the fourth installment of the movie. This one's directed by lana which hausky Lily is not involved with this one Lilley has been quite amusing in her declarations. As to why she is not involved in. I noticed there were a bunch of different reasons right. I think she was just like i've to paraphrase. I think she was just like i i. There's nothing less interesting to than going back to this story. And i think that's the first thing i saw was lilley was like i'm busy with showtime series in that lewis said so excited for lana team to like do the best job they can and then it was like lily is taking a break from the film industry and just in pursuit of different kinds of happiness. Yeah i get it again it but here we are. We have this movies real. Yes and i have to admit much like when i watched the top gun to trailer that all of my cynicism and all of my concern trolling and all of the you know whatever it is since nineteen ninety nine twenty two years or whatever of i accumulated kind of like scar tissue about like oh the second one was only okay and then the third woman is a disaster in lake red pilling as obviously now become this like all the stuff that you could ever throw at it. It all melted away when white rabbit started playing. And i like. I was just.

They're gonna play a hand when there's five left in the twenty eight thousand three hundred thousand dollar buying super high roller bowl. They've already locked up. One point two million dollars but they're so so so much money to be won millions upon millions of dollars endangered. Everyone's favourite calling station can make plays. "And they're only gonna keep five linebackers. I mean you have cory littleton. He's going to make the team team tantrum us. I'm pretty sure it's gonna make the team denzel. Perryman was just acquired and kind of a similar player. Ask mcaliskey so. I think he's going to make the team. Obviously more would be on the team and then it comes down to divide diablo. Nick wykowski and jason white. And i mean i'll be honest like that is a tough decision to make and where i'm looking at is i kind of think you know if you cut mcaliskey at least with him. You don't have to risk him getting picked up on waivers like you would with divine diablo jason white which white since they're younger players they'd have to go off waivers and especially with jason white. Who's had a great preseason if you put him or if you cut him another team could easily come in and swoop them up and then the raiders are sol with cook hausky. It's still a risk because you're going to cut the guy and he will be a free agent what you can kind of come to a little under the table or handshake agreement of. Hey we might. We're gonna cut you but that's just so we can put somebody. Maybe like jane wider nicholas moro on injured reserve so that we can give them an injury designation and don't have to risk losing them obviously. There's the risk of moral not being exactly thrilled with that and wanted to go play somewhere else or sites using make more on nick. Witkowski wanted to go somewhere else. But i think that is really an option. That the raiders can explore. You know they did it in two thousand nineteen. I think again with the with josh moro and i think witkowski could be a similar situation where they end up maybe cutting him and then bringing them back or just cutting him completely like i said denzel. Perryman has a similar skill set. You know chelsea's probably a little better than coverage whereas paramount's better run-defender but between littleton and muse and diablo and even morrow those are kind of your coverage linebacker so with the raiders are looking for are maybe that guy in the middle that can be that thumper in the run-defender and perryman has that same skill set and chelsea's been injured for the last two or three weeks. Maybe threes little dramatic. But it's at least been too. Well i think you kinda go with the guy that you just acquired the guy that does have some familiarity. Playing with gus bradley. And i mean. I legitimately think you know quick hausky could be on the chopping block and i mean i think we're due for surprise in in this position group no matter what it's a it's a group full of a lot of guys that are sold good players nobody. That's a real standout and so many injuries just makes this complicated. Because if you put the guy on i are. Now you're gonna end to season or you can have or you're gonna have to have them make the roster and take up a roster spot which could end up screwing you out somebody else so the linebackers going to have a lot of drama and i think we'll be right up to the deadline until the raiders. Make that decision so get the ob on the edge of our seats for a while when it comes to the lb's moving on a safety. And i think this is another position that gets a little complicated with the numbers right. Last year they kept three. I think they'll keep four this year if they do keep three than i think. They'll keep an extra linebacker co calc- will be safe. But i have a feeling. We're gonna go with four and i think dramatic jonathan abram. Those guys are hands down on the roster. And i think tyrod gillespie is gonna make it and i think down eleven is going to make it as well just because of what he's able to bring on special teams which leads me to believe that karl-josef and roderick teamer is going to be The cuts the biggest surprise is coming from there is going to be karl-josef boss obviously and when it comes to karl-josef joseph he's a guy that i've liked a lot guy liked when the raiders drafted him back in. What was it twenty. Sixteen or whatever and you know. He's been when he's been on the field. I think he's been a good player but the problem is i think he's been off more than he's been on it and even this year is dealt with a lot more injuries and dealt with injuries and training camp already and again i keep saying keep harping on it. We all know how much patience. Jon gruden has for injuries. And i think that's ultimately it cost them as well as not being able to play special teams. Special teams aren't supported. As i'm thinking or maybe kirie glaspie is gonna get going to be the special teams contributor from this group that may be karl-josef gets the nod over dow levitt. Who like i talked about last week doesn't bring much as actual defender so we'll again you know you're gonna hear me. Keep saying we'll see what happens. But i would not be surprised to see on the outside of the raiders roster anwar wrapping things up with cornerback. And i mean. I don't really think this one is going to be much of a surprise anymore. But it's never lawson now the raiders. Do get some help because never lost the suspended. And they can't cut him but at the same time he doesn't count towards towards the roster counter or anything like that so it's not that big of a deal for these first two weeks in the raiders to see what nate hobbs look like in the first two weeks to see if they want to bring back lost or not. But i'll tell you i think nate. Hobbs has just taken this position. I think talked about that last week too. I think nate is earned the earned the starting cornerback. Spot earned the starting slot. Cornerback spot and i mean yesterday for lawson i think put the nail in the coffin. It felt like and. I don't think they work because it was a preseason game but it felt like the forty niners were targeting loss and like they had a game plan of like. Yeah once twenty six on the field. Just throw at them like he got. He gave up a few catches and the benefit of a benefit of a few drops. As well and i mean it was just an ugly game for them. And it's a guy that you know. He's a veteran player. He kind of he is what he is at this point and i don't know if you can really expect anything more from them. So i got a feeling that nevin lawson's days are raider over and even when his suspension is up and week three. I don't know if he'll be back on the team. That's going to do it today. It looks like at some point way. Okay it's a heartfelt tale about a boy and his dog who set out to solve the death of the young boys father but it's the way there's like. The dog looks translucent. Right here so. I think the dog dies at some point too. Because i don't know why is it a ghost a ghost cop dog. I don't know. But i think that we should do a poll with the listeners. To see if anyone's seen cop dog like organically like we're not saying you heard it on this episode. You wouldn't watch it and you said like did you. Guys grow up watching topdog. And i've done with this experiment. Tony hitchens could hit the road. I'm fine if he gets cut a probably can't with his contract. But i would really really really celebrate. Not at not. That's that's me because a man lose his job. But i would. I'm over it. I don't need to see him anymore. Alright he is really what he dislike. Josh like anthony. I just felt like he's firstly. Was overpaid you could just do better for the money. You can do better like better. Can you just hotter years ago. Why are we just doing this. Man what the hell we just got a podcast dammit. Okay all right. Talking about tony hitching for years. I'm just saying it's not even just for the money. Better options all right at this point. What was five six name. What the other white pony amendment been naming. I'd rather cpr injure no name. Bad hitching is an nfl stories. Anthony anthony frustrates me really. He's really been basically masquerading. Is the black. Mike ms hausky. That's what he's been doing. My nose loss. Good no he was. Mike hausky was a guy who made a lot of tackles five to seven yards off the ball. And that's what that's what. Tony hitchings does all the time. I see the backup fifty. Three running down folks they just. I'm over him. But maybe you all think too hard on. I may be right but fifty three. I'm out. He's an imposter to see him any longer. Smack was lousy is now an owner of a sporting goods store in kansas city. Is a song allow. Skis called mb to apparently. That's the stupidest name for you. My can't be successful. It can't be congratulations to mike maslansky. On a unbelievable. I still wake up in hot and cold sweat of him against shannon sharpe just running down the middle of the field at him in single. Remember mike maslansky had like one hundred. Seventy eight tackles when years something like none of a matter. Not a one of a matter. That's what i get from. Romantics won the superbowl if he stays healthy in two thousand and three even anthony. Hitchens is a perfectly fine player is e overpaid. Yeah yeah i would. One hundred percent agree with you there. Trying fine player. Yes yes. I would argue. That's brent visas worst move. Is anthony hitchens contract. I think there's no argue. There's a case to be made. But frank clark is is definitely up there with them I think you can also make a case trading up the second round for what. The space defensive event speaks out of that that wasn't great but at least with anthony hedges. I know ron hates them. I'm not sure why this person. I just strongly hate him as he seems like the best team may like everybody loves him. Seemed a little personal. But we won't have to. We don't have to go there like he chooses functions like. That's the baggage chips. And i thought. Oh man he's going on the south now he's a liar each chips and it's onions anyway. I'm sorry go. it's perfectly fine player. The problem is he makes ten point six million dollars year worth ten point six million dollars. But that's what you're paying him and so that's what he's worth this year to the chiefs izzy certified or imposture. I think it depends on what your expectations are like. Your expectations are for him. To be like the thirtieth best linebacker in the league. A certified if your expectations are brandon. Belived up to that contract yeah. He's been an impostor since the moment that he signed it he he's he's never once been worthy of that and that was always the case it was an overpay from the moment that he signed the deal and everybody knew it other than the guy that is in charge of the kansas city chiefs. But i will say this win. He is out there. You do notice a difference in the organization of the defense and i know that that does not have ten million dollars were value. So he's he's an sure. When ben neiman is out there guys don't know where they're supposed to line up. That's how dense fog. Ben name then. The image beyond this estimate is and so anthony hitchens absolutely has value. He is going to be this year to bolton what alex smith was patrick mullins in terms of making him into a professionally stock multiple times. About how nick bolt basically doesn't know how to take notes. Anthony engines teaching him. How to do that. That's a valuable thing again. Does it add ten point. Six million dollars valley. No but it is worthy of of a little bit of value and anthony hitches a good player for the chiefs. Who was overpaid yet. You can go the alex smith reference for me. He's tom savage to the shawn watson. Get with that's where he is to be. An savage lasted if a half. That's so on so disrespectful. He's been a much better player than that he's ties. Nfl player like he belongs on felt. Roster you can have your. You can have your opinion. And i got mine. You wanna make quarterback analogies off. The alex smith was great. It was just wrong. He is tom savage and tom savage gave it a half that then came in and took over then he took over the next week. That's what i'm looking for. We theron taylor. He might be too rod taylor to just in her last year. The boys lamb savage all right. That's that's where. I'm staying right there thompson. You call it disrespectful or not and maybe anthony hich is gonna come after me but come on after be should frankly for what you've said about that man. Look on a team as he should eck in this on serious i thought real quick. I know we gotta get outta here but i. I thought i saw a couple of stephen servers out at my son's baseball today. You know when you want to how you know a a dad. That helping out doesn't know anything about baseball win. They're asked to be. I third base coach and they walk out there with the glove. I'd say i'd say now it's like certa would do that. I just find that refute. We had i had here i i. I was going to take over third base coaching duties.

Don't advertise their carriages. It's by word of mouth and then by the time it gets around. You're like oh. I was looking for a carriage. And they're like i just told mine yet gentle recently there's been a whole bunch of really nice kunis for sale that we're pony size or small horse is but they're super good super well engineer carriages and you can get them at a reasonable price. Because they're ten years older twelve years old but the as we were saying about the fads. The proper engineering is in those ten or twelve year old ones. They have delay they have people are like well telescoping shafts. It's a little bit of a fad for me and they get stuck in the issues so okay. Maybe you don't need that. I wouldn't get it but there are reasonably priced carriages out there. That are very good carriages. And i have to say glenn hausky and driving essentials super good at helping people with carriages and they also have used characters check their website. They have used carriages for sale every so often that are really good for people our prices up right now like everything else. So i think on the used carriages. They're not people are thinking they're not selling so much but the new ones the shipping is going to add a bit more now shipping and also. I talked to fry. Because i have a fri- carriage and he said he had more orders. He's doesn't know what to do because he's got so many orders carriages now and it's crazy it's been true trucks and everything else right horse trailers. You go by the horse trailer lots here. That shock was talking with marquette's administration about being this new this new coach here and they were on a call and they were trying to offer terms and they said here's what we got shock and he says now i don't know if that's exactly what he said but it seems like that might be the actual case here any excuse to give a little. That's right okay. This okay so gp congrats you confirm the news shortly after this. This feels like let's just talk about how this played out. This feels like can happen real fast. I had one call thursday night. That said hey don't know how real it is but you know shock marquette feels like they're you know just keep an eye didn't get any sense that this was going down friday morning but it damn well went down and He was always. The first thing i did was take somebody who works in this world and said how easy or difficult would it be to bounce shock to marquette if he were willing to bounce to marquette and the response i got within seconds was there's always a good market for shock and so i i i don't want to say definitively knew he was gonna be markets next to coach then if i would have said it but i knew he was in play and yeah once it started coming together i it came together pretty quickly
Jane Krakowski is NOT dating the MyPillow guy
"Jane kiosque is dating. Famed architect david rockwell. Not the my pillow guy. She basically was like. I'm dating someone now. I have to tell everyone who is. Because i've to fight this information and a half to say we've got a few calls we did. If there's a few sources that we have now that told us that i'm pretty sure that's it was fake news and now i'm kind of like confused as to why the daily mail published it like what was their kind of weird. Wha how does it benefit them. Because now he's suing them for like seventy five thousand dollars or something. That's like defamation. But as another person called in and explain what you've explained to me in the past where it's like you can't say that it hurt you unless it was actually harmful gossip to you. He's claiming that it was harmful and has specific details that are harmful to him. But you can't just be like. I'm suing because he said i'm in a relationship. It has to be harmful to your reputation in a way right. I mean again not a lawyer but it just seems like it's going to be if not hard entertaining to see how someone claims that being rumored to be in a relationship with a pretty universally beloved celebrity people by and large light car. How is this defamatory for a rumor. Maybe daily mail was just like we know that this is the case. We're going to take the chance and just go for it even though this probably might be falsely might get sued in this guy's very rich and he has enough money to sue us if anything. It's damaging for her reputation to dating him and she's seems to have laughed at off based on her statement but is she laughing it off when they're leaking actual boyfriend to the fix clearly serious. I mean there's clearly there's like strategy here like why do we give a shit who jim krause. Geus dating at this point. Who is this guy who literally who cares. And that's what she's been working with this whole time. Basically who cares. I love this lead. Though a bizarre report that actress page six complaining about the daily mail. It's like we're all. Talk with famed architect david rockwell. It truly is do you. And i bet what happened which i think is just so funny to me. I bet page six already knew this information but no one cares jim hausky stating he just an architect. I bet jane's people were like well. You just publish. Jane is dating a now. it's relevant or they just were like oh pages like we actually know her boyfriend is. Let's just publish it again. Because it's relevant. You know what i mean. It's funny because the news is coming off as like. Oh look who. She's dating now. It's like she's been dating this guy for like what three years two year like for a significant amount of time since two thousand and nineteen according to this okay so enough time two years one year basically. And they're like let's like time to drop this this news now that she's relevant. I just think that's so funny because otherwise why would we have this. Like who care. And i would believe that because they're proof even as they as you scroll down. It's like she's been pictured with this guy many times so it's just like she's not really trying to hide a relationship. It's just not i don't really care with that. And now that this other thing came out they care he seems fine. Whatever like it doesn't surprise me. At all his stuff is cool. Like i went to his website rockwell through dot com rockwell like a fancy various steamed architect. Who designs really cool like spaces. It's not like house. New GPT-3 Models Can Generate Images From Text
"Open a has introduced two new. gpt three models. The first is called clip. Which can classify images and categories from arbitrary text. The second is more interesting. It's doll e which can generate images entirely from snippets of text coding. The it technology review for all gpt threes flair. Its output can feel untethered from reality as if it doesn't know what it's talking about that's because it doesn't by grounding text and images researchers at open a and elsewhere are trying to give language models a better grasp of the everyday concepts that humans used to make sense of things dolly and clip. Come at this problem from different directions. At first glance clip contrasted language image. Pre-training is yet another image recognition system. Except that it has learned to recognize images not from labeled examples in curated data sets most existing models do but from images and their captions from the internet. It learns what's in an image from a description rather than a one word labels such as cat or banana clip is trained by getting it to predict which caption from a random selection of thirty. Two thousand captions is the correct one for a given image to work this out. Clip learns to link a wide variety of objects with their names and the words that describe them this then let's it identify objects in images outside. It's training set. Most image recognition systems are trained to identify certain types of objects such as faces in surveillance videos or buildings in satellite images. Like gpt three clip can generalize across tasks without additional training. It is also less likely than other state of the art image recognition models to be led astray by adversarial examples which have been subtly altered in ways that typically confused algorithms even though humans might not notice a difference instead of recognizing images dolly which i'm guessing is a wally slash dolly pun draws them. This model is a smaller version of. Gpt three that has also been trained on text image pairs taken from the internet. Given a short natural language captions such as a painting of a capybaras sitting in a field at sunrise or a cross section view of a walnut dali generates lots of images that match it dozens of capybaras of all shapes and sizes in front of orange and yellow backgrounds. Row after row of walnuts though. Not all of them in cross section and quote. The results are apparently striking. Maybe not as striking as when gt. Three i got everyone's attention a few months ago in the show notes. There's a link to the open. Ai blog where they show you examples of what this ai can achieve. You can also use the tool. Apparently to generate your own images. Sam altman had it draw an illustration of baby shark in a wizard hat wielding a blue light. Saber and it did it though. Apparently the tool was neutered. Which should be able to collect income taxes for the hundreds of thousands of remote workers who used to commute across state lines from the workplace culture desk. Marketplace's megan mccarthy carino has that one before the pandemic dave hausky commuted everyday between his new jersey home into work at an architecture. Firm in manhattan. I ride my folding bike to the ferry. And then i take a theory across. He also has to file taxes in both places. New york is one of seven states which tax workers based on their physical office is located new jersey normally refunds the more than one billion dollars paid by residents like miron hausky who have to pay taxes to new york but this year is different than it was march fifteenth when my office close to new jersey and about a dozen states are bringing the legal question to the supreme court to try to stop states from taxing workers who never step foot in the office. This becomes a serious problem. If remote work becomes a long term phenomenon as it probably will jared wall sack with tax foundation says while states have had agreements to avoid double taxing workers. That could change if your home state decides that you truly are both living and working in their state than they might still tax you especially as state struggle to make a drop in other tax revenues due to the pandemic says lewis shiner with the brookings institution. Clearly there's some hain things like parking tolls and gas taxes and drops in tourism and sales taxes. All that's pushed state revenues down an average of five percent so every last tax dollar counts. I megan mccurdy carino for marketplace.

Team leaders at the company gave out tokens styled after the studios logo a red bird to members of their team. They felt deserved. According to three current and former employees those tokens would have been transferred into bonuses. If the game met certain criteria like critical acclaim in a timely release under the new system those payouts will be guaranteed. Even though cyberpunk twenty seventy seven was delayed and the review score has been mixed this performance. Bonus comes on top of regular annual profit. Sharing payouts tim What is your reaction to all of this way the you. Where are you right now on your cyberpunk journey. I know tomorrow we're recording. A games cast patriot. Dot com slash. Kind of funny games. It's you it's me. It's probably amy. It's going to be blessing. We're bringing in paris lily. We're gonna have everybody. They're talking about what they've done in cyberpunk. So i don't wanna i don't know is the kids say you know. Don't blow your load portillo. Even i mean just tell me a bit of what you think. I am absolutely loving cyberpunk twenty seventy seven when early shocking for me a lot of that again not to go too deep into this but it is surprisingly linear for me so far with with how i'm playing the game and on my l. This is actually. I'm i'm really digging story and i i am lucky enough to be playing it on a super high end computer with thirty eighty graphics cards so i'm not getting the problems that everyone else is getting. I'm still getting a ridiculous amount of bugs. Like crashes way too often and just the game is so buggy that i'm not sure sometimes if things are intended or not and like that to me is the biggest. Where am i something. We'll be having on my. Is that like a weird glitch affect supposed to be there because it cyberpunk or is there something wrong and it's gotten to the point that it is definitely hindering. My experience with it adds. I like the game. Don't love the game. that's and i i want to love the game. There's so much there but all of this fucking bullshit like regardless of my experience liking this game. It's like this game should not have shipped and the way that it shipped is ugly like this is all bad and this this letter here is. We've talked for years about wanting more transparency from developers from publishers. For everybody honestly everyone every side of it. This is fame transparency. This this is like a lies straight up lies. It's a fabrication of the reality of what their actual intent is this to say. This is even trying to save face. I think is going too far. Like i don't even truly understand the point of this statement.
Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson, injured in workout with other NBA players, will undergo MRI on Thursday
"Be concerned. I play all those things combined. This far as i know he's playing basketball and I don't know who with i think is playing basketball pie. Like a lot of these guys are trying to get ready for ready for the season. Clay of course missed all of last year after the aclu injury. He suffered in the finals that year. Before here are tim. Legler and adrian watson hausky getting up with us earlier today guys. Thanks whoa do. What can you tell us. What do we know about this injury. Greenie lower lower right leg. There's certainly a significant amount of concern among the warriors talked to his agent greg lawrence last night. And they're going to have that imaging this morning a west coast time you'll see some of the warrior personnel front office medical staff coming down to be there his agent there and they're going to get a better sense of the severity of the injury. The torn acl injury was on his left is left knee that causing the last season. This is a right leg injury so it's not the same leg that's not necessarily any indication of how severe it may or may not be but just to sort of by for those award following it last night. The vibe i was clearly getting from you and others covering the story. Was that the level of concern that this is. Something very serious is significant. We don't wanna read too much into it. But am i getting that part of it right. Yeah there's there's a significant level of concern but it could be could it be At best strength half at worst is it in the achilles area and so that's why they'll get in there today they'll do the imaging and they'll find out for sure right so tim lego. Let's let's sort of look at this from a bigger picture basketball perspective if klay to missed significant time here this is a long term injury and again we can all hope that it isn't but what would that mean for the warriors championship window. Well my direct answer to that question would be. I think it's still open greenie. I think. Look i'm less concerned about klay thompson potentially missing another years in terms of just guys getting a little bit older steph and draymond both in their early thirties. I'm not as concerned about that. More concerned about what is going to be like coming back from now. Potentially another dreaded basketball injury. That's what you're concerned about and now on each leg so let's see what klay thompson looks like. You know a year from now. That's how john again. We're still waiting to hear the results of that. I still think the windows opening the main reason because we look around the nba. There is only one team right now. That definitively you can say it. Looks like they're put together to win the title. And that's the lakers about virtually every other team in the nba. So this means the warriors getting back together is delayed a little bit longer so be it. I

"Are no words that can describe the fastness of time and space. It's big really big. Really really big really. There's also not many words that can describe the vastness of space between the years of evil mastermind. Dr Steve. There's a lot of empty space in there. Really a lot of big wide and boom all right. Good morning anyway. Why have you captured us to have made a grave error? All of your time and space jobs created new wormholes in the time and space stream. That shouldn't harm. Anything just means more places to get across. The universe does a lot of home. See US worms have a union contract that clearly states that we are the only things that create wormholes? You have violated our contract which is an act carries the automatic punishment of death. No in the morning you will be taken for the king and we'll be judged for now. Enjoy your stay. I know our prison cells are not the most comfortable but it will have to do. The shackles will automatically released once. You've stepped inside. Yeah thanks I guess. What do we do now? Doctor You said to get to know our fellow prisoners. What do you think he meant? Alexis Wichowski on Net States
"Guest. Today is Alex which Hausky. She's an adjunct Associate Professor at Columbia University. And the deputy chief technology officer for innovation for the city of New York. She recently released a book called the Information Trade. How Big Tick conquers countries challenges our rights and transforms all worlds. I sat down with her last week. At Cornell Tech to explore further with her these notion of net states. Her book starts in two thousand and seven with the first iphone launch. It's hard to believe it was only thirteen years ago. Which Hausky calls it? Our last mass magical tech moment a time when the entire world got truly excited over technological breakthrough so I began by asking her what she means by that. I really thought back to when the IPHONE came out how incredibly different it was from the kinds of technology we were using and the excitement and the enthusiasm around this new device. People were waiting in line camping out overnight to get the iphone heart of it was a really good marketing campaign that hyped the product but part of it was people. Were just so excited about this idea that it would be not just a phone but a device that you could use for its maps for APPs for all kinds of things and this was still a time when I think people looked at the Internet as democratizing force as something that was mostly good for the most part people still felt really good about their technology and this has changed dramatically. Yeah I think since two thousand seven we have seen technology take a lot of turns not for the better as we've moved online with social media. I think in the beginning. We thought we were just connecting with our friends and then after the two thousand sixteen presidential election the United States. We realized that we weren't just connecting with people. We knew we weren't even just connecting with people in our own country. We were connecting with people who were foreign Actors trying to disrupt our election and between that and news that social media companies were sharing our data or selling our data to people that we had no idea who they were. I think people felt this great sense of distrust and worry about what technology was doing in their lives. So when I started with this idea of the iphone being this mass magical tech moment it was because I think that that starry-eyed hope for the future of technology really started to turn around that time and I think that's something that we've kind of lost at this point so you built builds on an OP. Ed that you wrote for wired back in two thousand seventeen in which you coined a new term that of net states in your wired piece you wrote we need new language to describe these non-state non bad guys. Can you first start by explaining? What net states are? Why we needed these new term. Talk a little bit about this idea that they're non states but they're not not violent actors. There's a very specific moment where I got the idea for this. Which was actually in two thousand fifteen so two years before. The article came out with the Isis attacks on Paris. It was this horrific event. We knew they were what we called. Non-state actors then we saw groups like anonymous hacker collective and others trying to take down twitter accounts from Isis Recruiting people and we saw that. There was a role for places like youtube and Google and facebook to play to stop the spread of Isis recruiting material online. It seemed like these tech companies had a role to play in international peace and security but they weren't non-state actors. 'cause that term has come to mean just violent or extremists entities. But they're not nation-states. Either they're not countries so I felt like they needed to be some other way to describe them tech companies that had global reach that were involved in territories that used to be just the domain of governments like defense and diplomacy infrastructure in citizen services. But also that were in some way swayed by a belief that the people that working at these tech companies weren't just after a bottom line but they really had this sense that their technology was there to do good in the world. I introduced this idea of net states and the funny story. Here is that when I wrote the article in Two Thousand Fifteen? My readers friends of mine said. I don't think you have enough evidence here. I think this is a little bit far fetched side. Put the article aside for two years. Then it was after Hurricane Maria in two thousand seventeen hit the island of Puerto Rico and the entire island lost power at low cell phone connectivity and Internet service and the US Federal Government. Just really did not respond quickly. But you know who did private tech companies? So Tesla came in with power packs to provide solar energy and Google has project loon. Which are these low altitude balloons that provide internet connectivity? So it was the tech actors that were providing basic services that the countries weren't so at that point. I thought OK. I really think I have something here. And that's what I propose the article and when it got published some people said well why are they not just corporations? There's lots of multinational corporations global corporations that work in many many fields. Look at Coca Cola. Look at McDonalds. They're all over the world. Can you imagine McDonald's having a counter terrorism unit? This is something that doesn't happen. But because tech companies provide the services and platforms that allow people to organize and to connect and to come together to find each other. There's activities happening on their platforms. That make it so they have to get involved. In counter terrorism they have to get involved in diplomacy because all kinds of things are happening with their tools and services that they never really intended at least of companies that you pick as net states. He's really interesting. They are the usual suspects so Amazon. Apple facebook Google. But you add to the mix Tesla and you leave out twitter. Yes can you explain why because I think when we talk about big tech? We think Apple Amazon Google facebook twitter. We don't necessarily think about Tesla. There's a very specific reason. I I chose the companies that I did. All of them are first of all massive in scale and size and in terms of revenue so they span the globe in terms of their user base. We have touch points with them throughout our days. That's number one number two. They're all expanding beyond their core products and services into other areas that are in our physical world so for instance Amazon purchased wholefoods facebook has as I said before started. Its own counterterrorism team. That's larger than the State Department's counter-terrorism team Ella so they are really getting engaged in physical world activities. Twitter has not diversified in this way. Twitter is really sticking to its core product. Which is micro blogging platform? And it's not investing in or acquiring other businesses to expand into other realms. So that's one of the reasons. I didn't include twitter and the reason I did. Include Tesla Tesla so funny case because in some ways it's just a car company but it's also An energy provider so it has this arm called power wall which produces these home energy storage units. That people can buy to go off the grid if they wish or partner with. There's other company called solar city. They can have solar panels installed in their on their roofs. And then store that energy in these power packs and be completely detached from the grid so the reason that I included Tesla and its various other entities is that it is a perfect example of how tech company or tech based company expanding into sort of real world

White House Declares War on Impeachment Inquiry
"I've made clear I think the White House has made very clear we will ensure that we do everything required to do by the law and the constant Asian every time those comments came a day after the White House appeared to declare war on the house impeachment inquiry the trump administration is refusing to comply with subpoenas create an eight page letter sent to Speaker Pelosi reads in part quote president trump and his administration cannot participate in your partisan and unconstitutional inquiry under these circumstances lawyers for the Democrats immediately labeled the letter devoid of any sound legal reasoning one set its sights more MSNBC guest appearances than actual legal underpinnings in the course of eight pages meanwhile trump heads into the impeachment inquiry now having created a rift in his own party as we've discussed here tonight over Syria Washington Post sums up the president's plight this way instead of enjoying uncontested gop support is he changes into a constitutional showdown with House. Democrats prepares for bruising reelection campaign trump is now fighting on two fronts within his party with us Hi Donna Edwards former Democratic member of Congress from the Great State of Maryland who these days is a Washington Post columnist and Tim O'Brien executive editor of Bloomberg opinion and the author of trump nation. The Art of being the Donald Welcome to you both congresswoman I'd like to begin with you this was it strikes me another day in a series of days wide ranging comments from the president make of them what you may but a whole bunch of them that we have I wrote repeat it on this broadcast tonight no response no response machine on the part of the Democrats the uncomfortable question I have for you you is we see impeachment rising in the polls is it rising because of or in spite of your political party well I actually think that When Nancy Pelosi announced the beginning of the impeachment in Korean put some focus on this question of this Ukraine scandal and the president's strong arming the president of Ukraine that that actually drew the public's attention to the president's bad behavior his unlawful behavior and I think that you can see from that time forward that support in the general public is beginning to increase teach me and I think this is the danger zone for the president because the more that he's stonewalls the more that he continues to look as though he's hiding something thing then I think that he really digs himself into a hole and this notion that somehow the congress the House is operating out side of the constitution is really just hogwash to kind of monkey up the precedings and I don't think Democrats should be distracted by that they should move forward and if Republicans if the president decides that he doesn't want to cooperate in this investigation then he will just layer on the the charges that will be made against him in any articles of impeachment so Tim O'Brien I'm assuming you didn't believe the president's faint today that if if the Democrats alling to be fair he'll go along yeah I don't think the president is going to go along regardless of what the Democrats do I think that was written in the in the stars along ago and I think you know we're in the midst of a constitutional crisis constitutional crisis exists if the constitution is not specific about certain actions the Congress should take and if you have players who are in the midst of this who are going to see things Ceuta the end regardless of what the constitution says and you've got a president who's willing to step into that Accu and he's backed by a party that's willing to take him down that road with them and I think trump's not only unlawful he's lawless in the sense that he doesn't really care about boundaries and he doesn't really care about rules that was true in his business life it's been true during his presidency and he now occupies an office that protects him from some of the guidelines put in place to rein in unlawful behavior you think I don't I don't think there's any doubt that the house is going to impeach him I think there's probably I have no doubt that the Senate is going to let it go and I think it's ironic and and sad and tragic comic that you've got the Senate up in arms over what's happened in north in northern Syria which they should be here's this wasn't necessarily the president being out of bounds the president didn't consult him the president didn't bring him into the process the president didn't honor Z.? Graham in this moment in the way that Lindsey Graham felt he should rather than Lindsey Graham I think leaning back on good conservative principles about how the president it should observe the rule of law and being outraged going back months and the way before now congresswoman we watch Luende Hausky all but dance on the witness title without fear and without consequence in front of the House Judiciary Committee Democrats are GONNA turn around now and start enforcing stuff and saying no no no under the constitution we are to be the prevailing power here while I do think that Democrats have some control over this process and you know I'm very critical of the way that some of these hearings have been conducted I think if there are GonNa be public hearings than Democrats need to really focus on having a single we'll skilled litigator asking questions of the witness so that Lewandowski would not be able to get away with the kinds of things that he did when you've got this you know partisan back and back and forth going on in the Committee so Democrats have control of the process and I've said before that I think that speaker does he needs to own this process because it will define them and I think that she has been and now the question is how you get from here to there in short order but very efficiently and doing the work to ensure that their articles of impeachment and frankly it doesn't matter to me if the Senate chooses not to remove this lawless president the act of impeaching the president is important enough to say you know what the president may not followed boundaries but the American people have

Meet The Credit Card Obsessives Who Travel The World On Points
"This message comes from NPR sponsor xfinity. Some things are slow like a snail races. Other things are fast like Xfinity X. by get get fast speeds even when everyone is online working to make WIFI simple easy awesome more at xfinity dot com restrictions apply now we have a story of people who are in credit card points as though it were a game they go for sign up bonuses and point multipliers and balance transfers but it turns out you can lose the credit card points game to here's Dr Yes roffe on it's seven o'clock on Tuesday night and in a crowded Bar in downtown Brooklyn on twenty or so people have gathered to sip Craft Beers Niblett appetizers men talk about credit cards. I've taken out over forty six credit cards writes in five years and earn two point six million Miles Justin sign up bonuses. Janus Lynch is irregular at the reach for the Miles Mita. It's a gathering of travel hackers. There's an deal optimize. IRS will meet once a month to trade strategies for maximising credit card rewards for her. Earning points is a kind of sport. I just came back this morning. From Easter. Island Lhasa Got Twenty Six thousand points from that plus because American Airlines was late for flight big any another seventy five hundred points nights so I'm not sure where I came out but I think I may have been paid to go to Easter Island. Uruguay and Lynch isn't alone nearly ninety percent of all the money spent on credit it cards last year was on rewards cards and as points have become more popular so to have websites like million mile secrets and the points guy which helped consumers game the point system meanwhile card issuers have been pushing more and more generous rewards all in an effort to entice customers to borrow and spend more but for people like Janus Lintz. It's just one more way to beat the credit card companies at their own game so I even make money paying taxes. I made quite a few thous in capital gains taxes. I spoke with one person who opened a credit card and immediately bought three thousand dollars worth of Amazon Gift Cards. Just has to qualify for the sign up bonus another person filled up there garage with blenders to take advantage of a promotion offering extra points on appliances one dad he even even try to enroll his newborn in a frequent flyer program only to be told that you have to be at least two years old to start earning miles and of course the ultimate badge of honor among this crowd is the outlandish travel story like the guy who flew first class to Dubai for less than twenty dollars and then there's Stephen Kozelsk Hausky. He used his points to visit every single country on earth before he turned forty the last one on his list Syria on one day notice I was was able to be on a plane to Beirut in Damascus by nightfall points can open the door to extraordinary experiences if you have the time and the discipline but one survey found that nearly sixty percent of the people who have rewards cards don't pay off their balances each month. They're so focused on the rewards aspect of it that got a lot of time. I think they just look past the potential downside. Ron Struggle is a certified financial planner. He sees clients. Come in all the time excited about all the points they're going to get with their new credit credit card. Believe him pull that card out and they should to me. You know like they're bragging about it but many of those same clients wound up racking up charges incentivized by that little little hit of dopamine they get each time they earn a point. That's what happened to jd Malone. He and his wife got sucked into a rewards program a few years ago after opening a Costco cashback card it changed the way we spent money from shopping for a brand new college and I mean one of the things that we talked about that was all hey if we buy this two thousand dollars couch yeah. That's that's Nice but if we buy this three thousand dollar couch we're going to get more cash back for that so we might as well by the three thousand thousand couch when they got their year end statement they found that they charge more than forty thousand dollars on that card and for all that they got about six hundred cashback it was painful. I mean to be honest. It was it was sickening. We were like this. This has to change. Jd and his wife enrolled in
The Big Picture
Spider-Man Is Out of the MCU and Movies Are in a State of IP Crisis.
"Yesterday. There was some public negotiating going on between two movie corporations. One of them is disney and one of them is sony. Amanda can't even she's like. She can't even look at this going. I do unfortunately okay. We've talked about spiderman quite a few times. Actually on this show and spider man was was the political football of the movie industry yesterday because sony owns the rights to make spiderman spiderman movies marvel has been helping them do so and generating a small profit and working closely with kevin feige who oversees marvel studios and as the most successful producer probably only in the history of hollywood if we're being honest and it seems that didn't even wait. Let's pause on that for one second here. We go about it. Okay never had remiss he's going to have so many achievement awards named after him. It's truly well. That's if we still have movies by the time we get to his age of having achievement awards with his name on it you said and it and it seems the kevin foggy at least for now will not be involved in making spiderman movies normal marvel. It sounds like the <hes> tom holland. Version of spider man is going to a strictly sony product now in theory this is scary for fans of spiderman and there was literally a hashtag wakatsuki sony tony oh no trend yesterday people wanted to boycott sony because they could not come to an agreement on giving moral more money for the thing that they make that is a little bit confusing now. What will this mean. Practically it means that you probably won't see captain america in a movie with spider mingling if they don't come to an agreement i think those of us who are a little bit more more cynical and perhaps a little bit more savvy about this understand that they may actually come to an agreement here and at this impasse is public theater in an effort to show the world just how much they care about tom hall and being able to appear alongside. I don't know thor going forward the point here though is not whether or not we get to see spiderman in an avengers movie movie or whatever the point is. This is how movies get made. There was another bit of news. Yesterday i don't know if you saw this as well with that the matrix force coming from lana wachowski and by herself by herself. Lana has split creatively from lily which hausky her sister and is it amicable. I we don't know the the details of that. We know that this is important to me looking to me. If i'm gonna tell him not and i'm just like you just told me to grow up. I know this is life little torp welcome to what it's like to be on the spot and that is the question ideas services or whatever or american movies a bad dream right now is kind of a reasonable question to ask in the face of this because it now feels like we we got what we paid for. We rewarded everybody by going. All the superhero movies going all of the franchise blockbusters. Those are the things that drive the industry in a meaningful way. We have this conversation precision routinely on the show and i couldn't help but look at those two pieces of information which i think hit within twenty minutes of one another and couldn't help but feel a little little bit of a an existential chaos around what we're doing this for and that's not to say that i don't like those movies. I actually liked the idea of but that's another underneath movie. That's that's. I know it's not the point so how do you how do you both respond to these paired pieces of information. I told you so. I mean welcome to chaos it subsides after awhile. Can you get used to the natural order of things and you're just like well. I will go see tom holland spiderman and at least he's adorable and you find the things you like. I guess
Collider Movie Talk
Michael Jordan, Keanu Reeves And Emile Hirsch discussed on Collider Movie Talk
"So apparently the matrix matrix for it is happening variety reports that loud on what caskey will write and direct a fourth matrix movie with kiana ribs and carrie ann moss reprising their roles so given all the rumors circulating about the matrix. I was surprised to hear this especially given the ending of revolution. So what do do you think about this news. Where could they possibly go with the story. Now i gotta let coin ready for this movie. It's okay in one thousand nine hundred nine twenty years ago. They foretold how ominous technology was gonna be. That movie was so prophetic and now we're living in an age where we often often don't know what's real and what's simulation whether or not you go to burning man. There's a very zatarain surreal quality to what reality is because of fakes because of technology. We've been overcome by technology technology in real life and now there is the perfect time to make the matrix four to retroactively fix the matrix two and three which could have been one very good movie rumor was i heard this this was back in the early two thousands that the animatrix and the matrix two and three it was supposed to be a trilogy but they wanted to do one before the matrix one after the matrix but because of the star wars. I don't know if this is true. Through warner brothers like no no no so they made the animatrix and then they split two and three into two movies but it should have just been one and that's why this movie's filled up loaded. I don't know if that's true but now they can fix that the matrix is more timely than ever keanu reeves is back in another hot streak carrying moscow's incredible and jessica jones. I love the idea of. I don't know why it's it's one which hausky but i love the idea of original crater coming back to a franchise that actually changed cinema. The first matrix is one question for you though so so. I think you use the word retroactively we're. We're talking a lot about ret cons lately but we were talking about something even before the show started that i think might be important to point out here when you say you know do things retroactively ret con whatnot. You're not talking about necessarily just like wiping the slate clean and saying this never happened. You're talking about adding it <unk> adding to it enhancing it. I haven't watched them in years. I've watched the first one planning but the second to there's an entire sequence if i remember correctly with the architect where there's a bunch of nieto's what easier franchise to fix than one where there's that many reality is easier. It's a movie about coding recode. The damn matrix is right there. So all you needed was the people that want it and the technology to catch up to make it different enough to make it worth making and the talent and we got all that in this announcement one of my very favorite things in this announcement is a quote and it says many of the ideas lilly and i explored twenty years ago about our reality are or even more relevant net lake more relevant now. That is the key terms phrase whatever that suggests that this franchise is worth bringing back. I could tell your super into into whatever <hes> was pitching this now well. It's just something i'm really passionate this year in general and storytelling is all the use of parallel realities alternate timelines justice that is also in any property and immediate fixture problem like it's not annoying. It's interesting it's exciting and and this is a- an ideal property to do that with you have to you we also have seen so with halloween. You can go that didn't happen and people will be okay with it. It's totally fine but by incorporating these sort of parallel words or re recoding as you said you don't have to do that you can satisfy both realities without pissing off a fair legion of fans who probably would be like what we saw that happen. It's real may chase recorded voted well. The thing is we say glitch in the matrix in everyday vernacular expression yeah a glitch in the matrix console all three and four we can actually go back and have a deja vu black cat experience and that's exciting and canneries doesn't age. It's very convenient. I that was one of the the biggest things about the story just seeing that the two of them are back but also we only get one which hausky this time which i find very interesting just curious. What do you guys make of that. I mean it is an interesting scenario that you hope is not in any way negative. The fact that lily was mentioned in the press release speaks well and the fact that they've worked together for like forty years see. We looked quite peacefully. I maybe lillies busy. Maybe she feels done with the story. You know there's a lot lot of possible reasons for that but it's it's interesting from a creative perspective if if that is solely lana on her own that i'm curious to see okay how the world might feel different when it's just one mind sort of creating this time around what's interesting to me is is that in conjunction with how many incredible creators came out of the matrix as we have like the john wick team and so many people that we now have directing their own work whether or not they come back to be like first a._d. Or any sort of second unit what the assemblage blue-chip the matrix is because we only have one which hausky instead of the pair so i'm really curious what the movie feels like and we'll be able to tell it's one of them instead of the pair of them because we've only seen them work together to my knowledge. I don't think i've ever seen a single hausky film. I think you're right. I i did like tried to double. Check really fascinating. There's always i'm <music>. I'm an apologist for a lot of their people. Don't like like i'm a big fan of what was the one about the the true through tom hanks. I liked that movie. I the credits of cloud atlas. They reveal who everybody played. Yeah i mean look. I like all of their movies yeah right up on the second for jupiter island because i love that speed racer summons emile hirsch whenever speed racer sir is trending. Emile hirsch was like yes. I'm here in tweets but like speed racer is one of those cult following. I think it came out six months too soon. The world wasn't quite ready for speed racer and the matrix four or is. I hope this is a movie that blows our minds because what they did with bullet time in ninety nine changed things. I can't wait to see what they can do. Twenty years later technology. I'm also curious are as has she says it's more relevant but also our relationship to technology has changed entirely in those decades and i'm very curious what the perspective on it is if it's still the the same. Is there any part of the movie where it's like now. We gotta plug back in the ass plugged in now. I know well. That's what's interesting is ninety nine i. I don't maybe i'm wrong but i don't think phones had internet like or if they did. It was rudimentary pretty average folks. I don't mind texting back marrow's still playing snake on nokia that point and you're doing like corey keyboard texting yeah. I was eleven so i don't remember who had i didn't have internet so what we are now. Now is such a different animal than what that movie represented them but you can watch the matrix now and it doesn't feel old yeah when you watch the matrix the first one it doesn't feel dated so i can't wait to see what they do with the world catching catching up to the reality of the already made. Maybe i'm just i'm afraid to see what they're about to foretell about the future sickly the way they did with the last one hundred forty nine the matrix man. That's a very fair concern very very. I want to know but i'm not sure if i want a fair concern that speaks to how rich this opportunity entity is because it's very exciting because we talk about you know reboot sequels franchises continuing you know twenty years after the last movie came out you name it and we're always like well you repeating something like does this just seems like a really again rich opportunity to continue a popular franchise where you're basically justifying it in the pillars of the franchise itself so i'm pumped and for me. It doesn't doesn't feel like where we have like. Indiana jones nineteen where they're like inventing a new story. The matrix said the video game the animatrix and the two sequels this rich world. They've already built up that they probably had other ideas for or and had ideas for the last twenty. Here's a here's a question from the live chat briefly from who rang who's writing. What does what does it mean for michael jordan. He was mentioned to star matrix matrix reboot. Maybe plays morpheus as son but really quickly before you guys even answer that it was making me think <hes> oddly enough off. I am more into the idea of another matrix movie with keanu coming back with a movie basically being pitched as matrix four rather than getting what we were originally talking about about you know just prequels and different offshoots as much as i like michael jordan i kind of hope that that is done and it's gone and they just move move forward as we were just discussing here. I mean i might be remembering incorrectly but i believe that had a different writer attached they did yeah sounds like a pretty the different project i have no problem whatsoever with michael jordan being in this movie because he's phenomenal and that would be great casting if they want to keep that one little nugget of that project alive. I do please yeah but it sounds that they're pretty separate at least from what the reports read like yeah to me. This is a separate property but if he's on the radar is on the radar so then it's a good thing and it's warner brothers so michael. Jordan is very much on their radar so it's a great opportunity to clarify. I'll take michael jordan anything. It's just when i first read the read the the news or a rumor at that point that that's what they were exploring. I'm like okay but then i hear something like what we're talking about right now and that's the hook. That's how you get me back in. I agree i. I don't think a reboot released spoke to me but hearing the story evolved from an original creator really speaks to the original team for the team sending

"News, the Milwaukee Bucks for just two wins away from clinching an NBA finals appearance for the third time in team history. Bucks.
