"All right, so Buffalo Bills wild west I want to always want to say wild west extravaganza. You can call it that. But it was really Buffalo Bill's wild west. That was the name of his big show that he took all over the country. Delighting people with sharpshooting and horseback riding and all sorts of cool stuff enchanting America with the old west. Not just America, the world. Well, yeah, and that's a solid point. I mean, he went all over Europe, and that's why in this article points out, that's why to this day, you can go to like a pony express themed club in Germany. Because back then, he performed in front of Queen Victoria and Kaiser Wilhelm in the Pope in Rome, and basically kind of he always seemed to have at least one reported or purported pony express rider in the show. It was like one of the main segments of his show. Yeah, so at one point he did have the good Bronco Charlie Miller. No, no, no. Well, he had him, oh, pony bob haslem. Yeah, pony bob worked for him for a little while, and he is a definite, legit rider. The other guy, what's his name Bronco, Billy? Bronco Charlie Miller. Oh, no, that was Clint Eastwood. Bronco Charlie Miller claimed to have been a pony express writer. A lot of men claimed to have been over the years that were not. And they traced his timeline back. And he would have been ten or 11, which is really stretching it. It is possible it is. It's possible because they did go as low as like 13 and 14, but it was never super confirmed that this guy actually wrote for the pony express, but it kind of doesn't matter because apparently everyone loved him. Yeah, and so the reason why it's stretching it, but still in the realm of possibility is because so when William Russell, we talk about the point express in his company, he would say, these men have to take an oath, not to drink or fight, which still happened, of course. Yeah, we have like 80 people in the saddle. And in reality, yeah, they were all drunk around it all the way stations and on the trail. And the impression is that if you needed a rider and there was somebody who said, I'll go, you were a pony express rider right then. So the idea that an 11 year old kid said, I'll go, and they said, all right, fine, go. That could have possibly happened. So it's possible. Bronco Charlie Miller did bribe, but like you said, he was just such a great old west archetype. It was like a relic, yeah. They were like, whatever. We'll believe anything you say. Yeah, so through the years, like we said, a lot of bad information, a lot of legend, everything from for movies like 1953, a paramount film called the pony express. The Charlton Heston is Buffalo Bill. In the movie, Buffalo Bill teams up with Wild Bill hook Hickok to start the pony express. And as this author said, there is not a shard effect in the entire film. I don't know if he met shred. Sure. All right, he could have said though. It works. And then this, if you read this, it sounds super cool, like a notice in the St. Louis and San Francisco newspaper that said, wanted young, skinny, wiry fellows, not over 18, must be expert writers willing to risk death daily, orphans preferred. Wages $25 per week. And that seems like, man, what a great job listing for the pony express. Orphans preferred. That was written in the 20th century by a journalist in the sunset magazine. So that probably wasn't even true. No, no, that's so like, again, it was forgotten. I think Alexander majors wrote his memoirs. Remember he was one of the three guys who owned the pony express. He wrote his memoirs like 30, 40 years after the pony expresses last ride. Yeah. So, and by this time, most people had forgotten it. And again, it was Buffalo Bill who came along actually paid a visit to Alexander majors and found him in a fairly sorry state. It was very broke. He was in poor health and said, you gave me my first job when I was 11 after my father died and I want to repay you by taking care of you. So he put him in a show. He let him stay at his old scouts rest ranch in Nebraska. Just basically took care of him. But he also was like, we've got to publish this book. So he got Rand mcnally to actually publish this book about his life as a freight, old west freight legend guy, including the pony express. And that was some of the earliest documentation about it, but it also kicked off like this history of terrible documentation of just surrounding the whole thing with tall tales and embellishments and it's just very quickly became it's very tough to root fact from fiction. Even today, even at some of these places that are like, this is actually what this museum is a pony express way station. Yeah. It may not be the case. They're not entirely certain what the trail was any longer. They think that there's some pristine segments that aren't covered over by tracks of some sort that they're actually like, this is the course that the pony express took, but they're not a 100% sure. It's just got lost at the time. Yeah, I don't think we mentioned that Buffalo Bill, that job he got was as a horseback delivery writer for the initial freight company, but he never rode for the pony express, though he did he outright claimed to or just kind of let people send that. No, in the notes for the Buffalo Bills wild west show. It talked about how he was and then it would say you should buy his autobiography. It was even more. And then they would talk in depth about how he rode for the pony's first for sure. If you were from the old west of this time, you were basically expected to just lie constantly about some of the things you've done. And not just with Buffalo Bill, Wild Bill Hickok said the same thing. He worked for the pony express too. And he did, but he was one of those guys who ran a way station and tended to the horses. Lame. Well, he was bigger and older. So he couldn't write. You know, it wasn't his fault. He's a victim of circumstances. Yeah, there are also a bunch of there was a series of last living pony express riders throughout the years. Various newspapers, even sometimes multiple times in the same newspaper over the years, would print articles claiming that the last pony express rider has just died. So we don't know if any of them were or not or if they were the last or not. And it finally took a woman named a poet. Apparently not a very good one, named Mabel loving. Who said, why don't you know, was it someone actually write letters and get in touch with some of these people? And get the true dirt, and she did that. She apparently wrote letters and had some correspondence with the surviving pony express writers as an amateur poet and said, there's right before World War I. And apparently that is some of the only real documentation we have from some of the real writers that she eventually published in something called the pony express rides on exclamation point. Which apparently can still buy if you have a lot of money. Yeah. It's like a collectible, I'm sure. Yeah, I think. And supposedly printers lost a couple of the chapters. So like even if you buy a copy, it's not in its intact form because nobody took it very seriously. I think probably because of the exclamation point. It's never a good idea. No. You

"Here we go. Welcome to NFL live. And today we have a great show on tap for you. We have the Patriots and we're going to figure out if Mac Jones can succeed without having Josh McDaniels behind him. We all feel we also tap into Mike Tomlin. Mike Tomlin says it's time for Kenny Pickett to earn his varsity jacket and right now we've only seen him play against the JV. Also the Seattle Seahawks. We watch Gino Smith, get the start because July tested positive for COVID, but did he do enough to make you have confidence in the quarterback room? But first, we will start with the Cleveland Browns and deshaun Watson. First, the deshaun Watson and the browns, after yesterday's settlement between the NFL and the NFL P 8. Watson was serving 11 game suspension without pay after he was accused by more than two dozen women of sexual misconduct, during massage sessions. Watson also has to pay $5 million fine and undergo mandatory evaluation by behavioral experts and follow their suggested treatment program. Here's what Watson and brown's owner Jimmy haslam said yesterday after the decision. Deshaun, why did you wait? So long until after, to apologize for what you did. I apologize beforehand. I think the second time I spoke to you guys, I actually apologize, but I think for some people it didn't maybe register as I was apologizing. But you know, I just want to clarify, you know, I was apologizing to all women and people that was offended about this situation. Because it's definitely a tough situation. What are you apologizing? For everyone that was affected about this situation. There was a lot of people that was triggered. But not the women that accused you of this? Apologize to all women. So anybody that was affected, even yourself. Everything. So I apologize to everyone that was affected about this whole situation. People deserve second chances, okay? I really think that, and I struggle a little bit, is he never supposed to play again? Is he never supposed to be part of society? Does he get no chance to rehabilitate himself? And that's what we're going to do, okay? And you can say, well, that's because he's a star quarterback. Well, of course. But if he was Joe Smith, he wouldn't be on the headlines every day. So we think people deserve a second chance. We gave Kareem hunt a second chance, okay? And that's worked out pretty well, okay? We're hoping this will work out and we have strong belief it will. That doesn't mean we don't have empathy for people affected and we will continue to do so, but we strongly believe strongly believe people deserve a second chance. We believe deshaun Watson deserves a second chance. Here's an excerpt of the statement that Roger Goodell released yesterday. Deshaun Watson has committed to doing the hard work on himself that is necessary for him to return to the NFL. This settlement requires compliance with a professional evaluation and treatment plan and a significant find in a more substantial suspension. Welcome to NFL live and it's no need to adjust your TV. Yes, it is me, RC. Our girl, Laura, she's headed back to the east coast after doing a great job for us on TV last night. So, unfortunately, you got me. But here's the good thing. I got my former teammate RG three. He's right beside me and he has met the tight pants quota. We're also joined by our GM Mike tannenbaum and one of my favorite humans in the world, Chris Mortensen. Now we have you more right now and we need to ask you a question. With all the things that are going on, where does everything stand with deshaun Watson? This home Watson, a week ago, seemed to offer some contrition for the situation that he was found in violation of in terms of the personal conduct policy. But his words yesterday, yes, he said he's apologized a couple of times, but there are some what were you apologizing for? And once again, he maintained and he used the word in a sense. And that's more of a consistent theme of deshaun Watson's going back to last year. Privately and in publicly and also during the hearings recently for his personal conduct violations, judge Sue L Robinson actually noted in her decision that he was without remorse. And I think the league was very concerned about what they heard yesterday. Roger Goodell, the commissioner, has noted that having that behavioral evaluation for a treatment plan is a key component to this going forward. So to some Watson, even in that hearing, by the way, his attorneys argued that he did not violate the personal conduct policy. Nevertheless, he's going to serve the suspension. He's going to have some therapy, some rehab. As far as Jimmy has them, you know, what he said made it clear. It's for him. It's about football. Remember, the browns were out of the running. The falcons in the saints were in the lead lead on landing deshaun Watson in a trade when all of a sudden there was a big turnaround and turned him around with this. A fully guaranteed contract that included exception clauses for anything he'd done in the past, including these allegations of sexual assault, sexual misconduct, and he was guaranteed the full amount. That did not make a lot of people happy in this league, in order to make the league office happy, but Jimmy has something that has made it stated it clearly. He wanted to show him Watson badly enough to make Boston do a U turn on where he was headed for his next for his next team. So therefore, I think there's going to be a lot of talk about a lot of talk about how to some wants and rebounds from this thing and do we hear him speak differently going forward when he comes back to the team. RZ three, obviously this situation isn't over, just because a settlement was reached, which we can tell by the fallout from the press conference between deshaun Watson and Jimmy haslam. Now that the settlement has been reached, though, how do you think this whole situation has been handled? Yeah, RC, I think the NFL had an opportunity here. An opportunity to show that they'd learn from their mistakes in the past, how they have not stood up and supported women and stood up and made a stand against sexual assault and sexual misconduct. So to me, this is an utter failure for the NFL. The bottom line is this. When judge suo Robinson ruled that deshaun Watson had committed nonviolent sexual assault and had committed nonviolent sexual misconduct and was a danger to the women in those massage therapy sessions, that's where the buck stops from me. Listen, I'm a father of three daughters soon to be four and I would never want my daughter to be exposed to that type of treatment and that type of behavior from anybody, let alone one of the greatest players in one of the greatest leagues ever. So when you have 24 women file civil lawsuits against you, when the Texans settle lawsuits with 30 different women and they say, hey, this isn't any acknowledgment of us doing anything wrong, but it is a stand against any form of sexual assault, a stand against any form of sexual misconduct, the NFL, said, women, we don't care where the National Football League, we're going to make sure that we can play games and this litigation doesn't hang over our heads. So we're not going to go ahead and drag this thing out. We're going to settle and that settlement to me showed how much they care about women. What really stood out to me was, as they unfolded, I thought deshaun Watson lacked authenticity. I thought his statement was really good. It seemed like he was genuinely remorseful, accepting responsibility. But Cleveland, the brown organization put Jimmy haslem and deshaun Watson out to the media yesterday. I'm not sure why they certainly could have done it today. And the more they spoke, the less authentic it seemed like deshaun Watson was really remorseful for what he had done. And I think what it will be interesting is, by the time we get to late November and early December, as more alluded to, once he goes through therapy and rehab, hopefully he'll learn what he actually did and the consequences of his actions. Again, there was 24 alleged sexual misconduct incidents. So it was disappointing how he handled it. It was disappointing how the browns handled it. And one other point RC that's bears noting here is clearly the league wanted a year suspension. They took a settlement with the NFL PA to get closure because albeit remote. The NFLPA could have filed a lawsuit, don't think that would have worked, but certainly this could have dragged on for

"That's not disrespectful behavior. Again, read the material. That's all I ask read the depositions, read the articles, read, Sue L Robinson's opinion. Educate yourself fully on this. If you are somebody who's tweeting at me, what I see your tweet at me or putting on our YouTube stream, what I see you put on our YouTube stream. Please read all of that. And if you've got a problem that the NFL didn't throw him completely out of the league, take that up with the authorities in Houston. And people do deserve a second chance in the world. I know Jimmy haslem said, you know, people are saying he doesn't deserve to have a career. I'm not one of them, and I don't know a lot of people who are in my circle saying he should be out forever, but to earn the second chance from the NFL fan, writ large with nobody who's got a dog pound in the fight. For those people to understand your second chances deserving, you can not have a statement put out with your name on it written and then come out and say the exact opposite in front of a microphone and a camera. And everybody else saying what they're saying, putting their reputations on the line to say what you should be saying. And think you deserve the second chance.

"But if he elects to not come to camp, that is going to be going on at the same time that the NBA collective bargaining agreement negotiations are going on. They're going to going on this fall. They have a deadline in December where either side can opt out of the CBA, their goal is to negotiate a new one before that deadline. I believe it's in mid December. So that could be an interesting little situation. Also, you're going to have, if Durant doesn't come, you're going to have Kyrie Irving and Ben Simmons having to sit there and answer questions about it. Then Simmons stat out last year of training camp in Kyrie Irving didn't wasn't around last year either and you're going to have a repeat of the next drama. In a different form. It's going to be fascinating, but if they can get them all on the court, I do think it's worth looking at. But it's very difficult for me to predict how it's going to go. I would just say right now, the more interesting negotiation that's happening is between Durant and the nets as opposed to the next on the other teams who have interest in trading for. Okay. So then before I let you go, let's hit on the dawn of a Mitchell Nick's scenario. And I do believe, while you give your answer, we will put up the screen grab of your True Detective type moment when you talked about the jazz, if you weeks ago on your network, go forth, Brian. Yeah. Yeah, I think that I was pretty sure then that the jazz were going to trade Gobert and Donovan Mitchell. And I still stand by that. And I also think they're going to, I don't know if they'll be able to execute it, but I would suspect you would also see boy and by Donovan Mike Conley traded at some point in the next 6 months. And so they're going to go ahead and tear that all down. The thing about it is the price tag on Donovan Mitchell is so high. There's only a couple of teams that can really get into the bidding. And the mix lead it. They have the currency. There's some other teams that have it too, but I don't know if there is an alignment with where it would make sense for Donovan Mitchell. For example, Donovan Mitchell, I think, would love to play in Miami. I think the heat would love to have them. They don't have the dowry that the mix do. So really, well, I wouldn't ever rule out something unexpected. And unexpected teams to get into it. I think really this is all a big giant negotiation. How much can the jazz extract from the mix for Donovan Mitchell? And if this gets into the season, what here's what I'm going to find interesting. What if the Knicks get off to a slow start? And even with their big expenditure on Jalen Brunson, what if they're in 9th place or 12th place three weeks into the season? Does that change what they're willing to pay? What happens if Donovan Mitchell is awesome? I just was looking at highlights from him competing in a pro league in Miami last night. He looked great. What if he comes out and is averaging 35 points in the jazz one a tank and he's winning him games. What is the chance of like, we've got to get this guy out of here before we win games and we can't we can't get Victor win, but yeah. One of the one of the games I have circled on my schedule, November 15th, okay? So that's about a month into the season. Nick said jazz on TNT. You can't say the folks at TNT weren't paying attention to this. What happens if in that game, Donald and Mitchell scores 48 points in front of all of the country and all the Knicks fans, which you could easily do. There's a lot of variables that are going to potentially happen early in the season. But we all get back to where we started. How much can the jazz get out of the mix? A team that can trade up to 8 first round picks and has a number of young players. That to me is definitely worth watching. Brian windhorst, you, sir, are the man and we did in fact have the photograph of you pointing to the sky up for most of that silicone delivery. I'll Venmo your number, sir. And look for my call in the future. Thanks again, Brian windhorst. You are the best. Truly appreciate it. Right back at you. At windhorst ESPN, I follow him a must follow Brian windhorst here on the program. All right, we'll take a break during that conversation I could see out of the corner of my eye that deshaun Watson just did. In fact, speak to the media and right now the general manager of the Cleveland Browns, the executive vice president of football operations and GM, Andrew berry is talking a Flank by the haslams. Jimmy haslem, the owner of the browns, so we'll get all of that if you will, sound and sound bites turned around, but more importantly, we'll take this break and be back with you at 8 four four two O four rich. 8 four four two O four rich number dial here on the rich eisen show. The owners of the browns and the general manager of the browns are talking to the media right now. And the body language doesn't look very good. I'll be very honest with you. Right now, is it better or worse than a press conference that looked like a funeral? Body language looks dreadful right now. We'll wait. We'll wait to hear what they got to say. Wait till they gotta say. 8 four four two O four inch being the number to dial here on the program. So last night started following baseball again. What a great feeling. You know, and I picked up the sport. I picked up this sport. The bottom of the tenth inning last night. Yankee Stadium. You're back. I'm back. Well, Susie and the kids returned. So the house is full again for the first time since late June. Late June, yeah. So there's lots going on. I needed to catch up on Better Call Saul, which I did. And I have completed the journey of Saul Goodman and Jimmy McGill. I've completed all that. And in the middle, I was getting updates and I wasn't looking good in The Bronx. Down four zero. Four nothing. They and the key number being the zero. And the number of grounded into double plays with bases loaded. To say they went from a 70, they went from 70 wins, right? To zero for 70. It was rough. It's crazy. Baseball is nutty like that. You're a stretch. First team is 70 wins to maybe the last team to 80. I don't know, man. It was really brutal and then. Slowly but surely they chipped back and tie the game on a solo shot by Anthony Rizzo and then with clay Holmes, their lights out closer in the first half who couldn't record an out in the second half. Now on the disabled list, which kind of reeks of like, let's just give this guy a break. Yeah. Let's give him a rest. I don't know. And you hear Aaron booth says, I think I'll be back after the 8 15 days. You're giving him a blow here. Lower back problems or whatever. So let's hand things off to Chapman, who's doing really well. You know what? You know what? Here's a new equation. Are all this Chapman plus ghost runner equals can of gas? You're putting you're putting a guy on second base just to start things off against Chapman. Oh my God. So sure enough, a base is clearing double happens. It's now 7 four and but the Yankees get the ghost run of themselves and load the bases and Josh Donaldson with just two home runs in Yankee Stadium this year. I mean, how many Yankee fans and I'm one of them all year long have been just like, okay, I'm glad he plays a really good hot corner, but is he going to start hitting or what? And he hit a Grand Slam and the Yankees win. At least he hit it to the shortest part of your stadium. Dude, you don't have a thing to talk about. With the pesky pole is barely outside of the batter's box for a left handed hitter. Like literally, I've never seen a foul pole directly behind first base, like the one that's in Fenway Park. And then the wall that wade Boggs is flipped his wrist his entire career to play wall ball and made the Hall of Fame. It's like, okay, so you don't have to you have to hit it 45 feet high. The ball. The ball that Donaldson hit last night was an out in every ballpark. You want to look that up before you actually talk that into a nationally televised and radio microphone? Do you know? I don't. I bet it wasn't. That was basically went over the fence. What are you talking about? When several rows into right field. Look, bottom line is if you want to talk about stadiums and being band boxes and offensive, helpful facilities. You don't have a leg to stand on pal. The thing ever. So the wall is 40 feet high.

"Like taking accountability for your action. I'm completely innocent. Just read everything. That's all I ask is for everyone to read everything. I've tried my best to read everything. So the written version says I take accountability for my actions and this one is like I didn't disrespect anyone. I mean, we can sit here and argue about whether he's sexually assaulted anybody. Because if he did, there should have been criminal charges and there wasn't. There's also the version of sexual assault that the independent judge Sue el Robinson said was met. It's just as nonviolent and there's a lot of people whose world where they are expert in battling sexual assault and violence. Here's what nonviolent sexual assault, what's that? And if he didn't sexually assault anybody or then why in the NFL statement that came out today that announcing the suspension that Watson agreed to does it say that the league and the NFL and the browns are resulting in a $7 million donation to support the prevention of sexual misconduct and assault. So this situation in which women were impacted using words that Watson's said has led to a suspension and a fine that he agreed to, and his team, spending money to help combat sexual assault. That's weird. And if he didn't think he was gonna get suspended because he was innocent, then why would there be a contract on the table that only hits him in the pocket for the suspension for $600,000 and change? Because the way the contract was set up for his first year, most of it is free from being garnished in a suspension because of the way it was. Put on to paper. What are the browns just suggested? Out of the goodness of their heart runs and just in case, you know, you look us in the eye and tell us we should trade for you and send all those draft picks and make all this money fully guaranteed just in case maybe not. We're just going to use what we'll do. We'll just to help you out is how much we love you, Desean, is we're going to make sure that any suspension that happens this year doesn't hit your money. Well, you know what? You don't have to do that because I'm innocent. I haven't disrespect anybody and didn't do anything untoward or anybody. Even though now when a suspension hits, I'm putting into a piece of paper that I take accountability for my actions. But when asked, you said you take accountability for actions, but you see you're innocent, you'll say what you said to me. Does this make sense? Let's be honest. And he certainly doesn't sound like somebody who you put up that NFL statement one more time. Commissioner Roger Goodell in that statement said the following, deshaun is committed to doing the hard work on himself that is necessary for his return to the NFL. In mentioning that the settlement requires compliance with a professional evaluation and treatment plan for him. Why agree to that if you didn't do anything wrong? Well, because the NFL is just decided on a narrative, I guess. And they're going to just blow straight through the facts. Jimmy haslem, the owner of the browns who bestowed this contract on deshaun Watson was asked about this disparity. Would you go back and do this all over again? Absolutely. So you have no qualms about making someone a questionable character to face your franchise. You know what? Here's what I think is that I think in this country, and hopefully in the world, people deserve second chances, okay? I really think that and I struggle a little bit is he never supposed to play again. Is he never supposed to be part of society? Does he get no chance to rehabilitate himself? "They did something I thought was really interesting, which is they rebuilt on the fly a little bit. And they didn't say we're going to take four years to do this like some franchises. Do they said, okay, we're going to do a mini rebuild within a rebuild. It's like a play within a play. And they got it done. Really, really well. And I can not give them any more kudos to that. So we mentioned they're starting 5. Yeah. You can go, you can go through their bench. Here are some of the names on their bench. And I'm doing this facetiously on purpose. Cole Anthony, who's going to have to be talked into being a backup again. Tough, fine, that's life. Gary Harris, nice bounce back last year. Terrence Ross, who's going to be on the magic in 2035? I felt like he said he said goodbye. I'm like 9 different podcasts and he's just still here. He'll never leave. He's gonna be, he's gonna be there, Udonis Haslem, I think. He'll just be in a situation assistant coach, cultures that are. We're gonna be we're gonna be begging him to come back for your 20 two and we're gonna, it's gonna be great. Yep, forever, forever, a soft spot for me. We love, yes. Mo bamba. And again, what I was being facetious about is there's a name we did not mention a very important name on this team despite the fact that his contract is non guaranteed in perpetuity. Jonathan Isaac, who I think exists as more than an author, and he's a successful author. Yes, he is. And what I understand and is healthy is I don't think going to start, which then raises the question of this guy was once considered maybe the most important long-term piece on the entire roster. How is he going to fit into this team? I have some thoughts, but I mentioned you're laughing already. Are you out? Are you just out? Is it over for you? Jonathan Isaac? No, I will

And so Steph is on smart and smart comes over to set a screen for Tatum. And instead of setting the screen, it's a ghost screen, so we just kind of runs by the play. And Steph stays with smart and continues on by. There's like a moment of hesitation with Wiggins. Tatum drives by Wiggins, gets his shoulders past him. Draymond's forced to help off of Horford, Tatum hits Horford on the baseline, and it was Horford's like, it was like a 15 footer. I remember that. It was a weird looking shot because everything was from three, but that was the one shot they had, there was like a legit, it was a mid range shot, but not from the paint. They're not from the middle of the floor. It's from the corner. I remember looked ugly, but it was perfect, extremely effective. It was a wide open shot for Horford. That's the type of shot that Horford, I don't know how old our listeners are, but ten years ago, that was a thing for him. Yes. 100%. So when he made that pass, I was like, this is a wide open 15 footer for L over to the baseline. That's like the old Udonis Haslem shot. That just goes in 9 times out of ten for these guys. So I thought that play was fascinating because it was clear that knew what the warriors were expecting and called time out and was like, I'm going to deviate from that slightly and I'm going to have smarts at the ghost green. So I just thought that was like one of the reasons one of the really good reasons why is just like super perceptive, super in the weeds with everything, making adjustments in the game, and so that was just like a I just wanted to shut out E may for that. That was a really, really good coach, man. And it would be easy for anybody to question, like you said. It makes some sense, and I think it's actually a sign of a perceptive coach too to look out and say, our guys might be getting tired here. Even on a run, your guys might be getting a little bit tired. Let's buy them a breather. But that didn't feel like what it was for. It hadn't necessarily been an up and down game. If anything, it was the opposite because Boston was making so many shots where you have to take the ball out of bounds. So it wasn't up and down necessarily so it didn't feel like it was a rest. So you figured it was going to be some sort of wrinkle or something that he was trying to throw in. And I do remember that shot just because visually it looks so different because it was like almost set up where I'm mid range shot, which you normally don't see that, but it was a wide open shot in Horford had no problem knocking it down. So huge props to him in that moment..

"Weekly NBA content these two are capable of. What does that mean? Could be the best duo ever. I don't see how you can beat that. Here they are. Chris mannix and Howard back. And we are back a special bonus episode across over podcast, Chris mannix, and Howard back. Game 7, Eric spoelstra used that famous cliche. The best two words in sports. Game 7. And look it is, you know, Celtics, Miami, headed for game 7, did you think we were going to be here with the Celtics and heat? I didn't not think we would be here. How's that for confusing grammatical construction? This whole series has been so bizarre, Chris, that everything was on the table, right? Because of all the injuries and all the inconsistencies and guys are coming and going and one day it looks like Kyle Lowry should be retiring and then the next day he's putting up a big performance in the clutch. There's nothing about this series that's been predictable. So sure, of course, why not that there would be a game 7 just when it looked like the heat were buried just when it looked like in fact that they were so on fumes that draymond green didn't mind kind of getting goaded into saying on live TV the other night. Yeah, I think we're going to be facing Boston in the finals. Can we by the way settle down Udonis Haslem with the draymond broke the code? Like, what are you talking about? Draymond didn't wasn't parading through Union Square screaming. We want Boston. He was asked like three times by Shaquille O'Neal, who they wanted to play. And he said, look, we're going to play Boston. And I don't know why you wouldn't think that. If you were draymond green. You just saw the Celtics dismantle Miami on their home floor. You saw Jimmy Butler dragging that leg around. You saw Kyle Lowry operating at far less than a 100%. Tyler hero wasn't playing. Like, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to predict that the self support to win that series. Now, all credit to the Miami Heat, Howard. I don't know where this came from. I don't know, I don't know what happened on the flight between Miami and Boston. But Jimmy Butler and Kyle Lowry were different players. Let's start with Jimmy Butler at the top here. This was a guy who had three consecutive sub par games. He had 13 points in game 5, but after that game, email DOCA basically said that Jimmy Butler was not trying to be a score. Actually didn't basically say it. He actually said it. Jimmy Butler was not looking to score was his phrase after game 5. All of a sudden, he gets to Boston and it's like that knee completely healed. I don't know if it was the phone call he got from Dwyane Wade. I don't know if it was the pep talk he got from PJ Tucker and Mark Keith Morris in that locker room, but that was the Jimmy Butler. We saw in the first two rounds of these playoffs. He was elevating and making outside shots. He was getting to his spot and making shots in the paint..

"They do have to figure something out, and I'm sure we're not breaking news here. The NBA is paying attention to this, but I wonder, I wonder when they're going to do something about it, because it is becoming a big deal. The unfortunate part is Zach zarba is not there to make a big spectacle out of all because you know he would do so. My prediction about that though, but like he's the over explainer that kills him. Yeah. I don't think it's going to be game 7 when the league decides to do something about this issue. No, absolutely not. No way. And if you have any sanity do not read the last two minute report of just don't do that. I do suspect that everybody's favorite referee Kane Fitzgerald will be doing this game. And I'm just, and I don't mean to be this guy, but he just makes every call about Katie Fitzgerald. It is unbelievable. And the problem is it will disrupt the rhythm of this game. Yep. The one prediction I have and it will be right this game will have no flow. This game plan zero flow. Just won't. And that's what's going to stink about tomorrow. Is this or today? Anyway, listen to this podcast. This game will have absolutely zero flow to it. And I'm like, if there was a way to bet that I would put my house on it. It's the classic game 7 way. And they're usually better because game 7s usually just a disaster. So these two teams are begging for weird refereeing nights like with the way they play. So it's like, I mean, listen, game 6, I felt like it was a travesty too, but, you know, game 7 is going to be a wild ride. It's going to probably be a rock fight. That's right. So Seth, as we do on game days, we'll do a little early here. How's the vibes check? How we doing, how are we feeling? You know, I was arguing with your co host Adam Kaufman about after game 6, because he's so optimistic. And he was sort of still freaking out. I think after game 6, by the time the second half of game 6 was in progress, I was already getting excited about game set. I'm in the spiw mode of like, I'm excited about this opportunity. Like this is our chance to yet again after games 5 and 6 and 7 against the bucks. This is like the Celtics chance to have a really prideful moment leading into the finals where they do what is expected of them. I am a little nervous of the fact that they're considered favorites in this game. That doesn't quite seem right to me, but I'm psyched. Let's see what happens. How many do me a favor? Don't talk to draymond green. Please. For this game. And that's so great. That's so funny. People make a big deal out of that. It's like, if that's what it took to get this Miami Heat team fired up, then I'm just I'm questioning the Miami Heat culture in general. Also, it's like Udonis Haslem's fired up. Do we know if anyone else was fired up about this? I guess Dwayne deadman made a hit with it..

"And did you guys know his dad played in the NBA? KFC tweeted it. I was thinking the same thing. It was like, it had the makings of the Derek white game. It was like, okay, did Derek white save the day here. They come out of the time out. And they run this play for Lowry, who was really good tonight. And Larry hits a three hour unbelievable. In Larry had one of those Chris Paul games where so he finished with no, he was 18 and ten. He only made 5 shots, but it felt like he maintained, he was all over the place. I think he eventually found out, but he probably could have had 20,000. That's what I meant by the Chris Paul thing. He was just physical. His hands and his arms were everywhere. He was always trying to draw charges. And I just thought him and butler were the best guys in the game. And that was why they went in. It wasn't even like they got a lot from bam. Drew said a couple threes, but they were making it seem like drew's is back. He was three for 8 from three. And nobody else really didn't think offensively for the game. If you take out Jimmy, they were 24 49. I mean, it was the Jimmy Butler game KFC. Yeah. And absolutely was. And it seemed like for Boston, there's nothing they could do given their game plan. Maybe less easy switches. Do you think maybe your blitzing or trapping or hedging against Jimmy Butler Moore in a game 7 now is that the adjustment you make or do you continue doing what you're doing? Well, do we know he can do that again? The previous three games he was a shell of himself. And then reselling miraculously, him and Lowry, who looked like they had dirt poured over them. And then haslam after saying how thanks to draymond green because draymond green said, we're going to be playing the Celtics on TNT and apparently that motivated the heat. So that motivated the heat that draymond green said that, that's what it's all took. They were going to go home for the summer and then jayman agreed makes one comment and now Miami's motivated again. I don't understand it. TNT had the Celtics up and they were comparing their stats in Golden State when I was watching the postgame last night. And I'm like, man, that's pretty aggressive, but that's how bad the heat looks. And game 5 was weird because you're like bosses down 5 at the half and when Miami goes on these horrific offensive stretches, I'm kind of like, you know, that's why that's why I've always worried about you. I mean, I think I joked the last couple months of the season where I go, Miami is going to end up in the NBA Finals are going to be saying, yeah, I really don't see it. Away from that. They're winning the title and they're like, I don't know. It's a parade going. I don't know about their half court sets. But this game is also this series, and this is why after game three Bill you and I are doing the podcast praising these personalities, right? And they showed up again. And we just when you think you have this series figured out, you don't have it figured out. And I can not emphasize this enough. If you have any kind of pride, which is team does, right? There's just a different level that you're going to play at when you're facing elimination. And I felt like for Boston a little of the stuff that we haven't liked about them in the past. Granted, I think they've proven time and time again, especially in the Milwaukee series. I don't think we can unfairly say, oh, I don't know about this boss. You have to really have that killer instinct. When they played like this for such a long time, I'll admit it creeps into my head every now and then, but I don't think it's fair because of the Milwaukee series, right? You come back and beat that team, then you are or something. But I just don't know that there's anything replacing playing and knowing you don't have another game if you don't win. And that's what I still like Boston and game 7. Not to jump ahead to 7 here, but I just think this is what this series is. It never makes sense when you think it will. Yeah, KSC, Miami was 8 and a half point underdogs today. Huge numbers. And I thought Boston, I said this before this game. I thought Boston was going to win this series, but I was not going to be surprised if they lost today. And it weirdly they've been as good or better of a road team as they have been a home team. Miami? I didn't stayed away. Have you ever, have you taken the points against the cells in a playoff game ever? No, not when a final trip is at stake. But I just thought the line, I thought it was too high. I didn't, they were banking on basically Miami rolling over and dying, which I guess after Wednesday, maybe is a good banking, but the Lowry thing, Larry couldn't move in game four and game 5. So I don't know. They went, they went one for 50 and two games. Like when you looked at the Lowry combination stats from games four and 5. Like you kept looking at them going, they had a number from game 5 were in the half court, their points per 100 was or their points per possession was like 0.6 right. I thought there was a chance they were going to bench louder today. I really did. 'cause I actually thought he was unplayable after game 5, as he's not healthy..

"Most of them are Philly and New Yorkers, so they root for the sixers or the next. But everybody roots for Yanis. He's so much fun. All right, so you mentioned the heat. We're going to start at the top of the Eastern Conference. As we record this, the heat are nominally in first place that the only team in the Eastern Conference to clinch a playoff spot so far, but stav. I don't know if you saw what happened. I'm licking my chops. Against the Golden State Warriors, not only did the heat lose at home, but they imploded. They imploded in full public view of everybody. There is a huddle and udonis haslam gets after it with Jimmy Butler Jimmy Butler, I guess, was acting up a little bit. It puts him in his place. And the weird thing here, I want to run this past year because so Jimmy was fighting a two front war, which we all know you can't do. Military strategy tells you that I guess. But so he hits on an argument. Simultaneously with both Udonis Haslem and his coach Eric spoelstra. And so two things happen, I want to ask you which one you thought was better. Did you like Udonis Haslem telling him I'll beat your ass, I'll be your ass, or Eric spoelstra asking what you want me to bleeping fight you? Yeah. I did like it because again, I like the idea that the heat are falling apart here. I like it because back to Giannis, they seem like the most spiritually together team and we can get, we can get into that. But I love that. I mean, look, you've done this haslam. It's like, that's what the guy is there for. To me, it was like, he's on call to deal with this exact thing. That's the only thing he gets paid for is to throw his body in front of the coaching staff. He's basically the coach that will fist fight a player if he gets a little if he gets a little bit healthy, right? So to me, that was just, that was you Donna's going through the motions if anything. It didn't even feel particularly inspired to me. But. Literally like his energy, I mean, he was like, what, do you want to fight? But he wasn't backing down. And that was, again, I mean, I think he's the best coach in the league, and he is. And that's part of it too, where it's like, it's not just that he is an incredible, you know, I mean, just to get this team to be number one in the east right now, although I think it's going to fall apart. Fingers crossed here. This is the closest it's been in a while..

"Do any foolishness? I kind of envision you Donna sasm being at this point, you know, in life, he's 41 years old, right? He's closer to my age than any other NBA player is. Did I just imagine him being like waking up and being like, I'm too old for this crap. I don't want to deal with this. Yeah, here's the other thing you'll see is when you Don us hasm says, Miami is his city. He is 100% spot on with this. So you don't as haslam was in high school in Miami when grew up. He went to high school in Miami. Graduated high school in 1998, so that was four years up to 1998. That he spent four years just a little further north and Gainesville, Florida, playing for the university of Florida, then one year in France. After he joined one pro. And then every year since then, since 2003, he has been on the Miami Heat. So unbelievable. There is no NBA player that is more connected to their city than your donnis haslem is currently playing in the NBA. And I don't mean that because he's a star player or anything like that. Nobody else has that length of time history in there in one city. That is currently playing in the league. And that's there's a reason why he keeps getting contracts or they keep bringing them back and those kind of things. So just kind of to close out when he says Miami's my city, he's not messing around. Miami is his city 100%. Yeah, he's absolutely right. And I'm trying to look on the schedule here to see when Miami takes on. It says coming up pretty soon. I know that. Pull up their schedule. So we can see it. Oh, there it is. It's tonight. It's today. It's tonight. Yeah. They're taking that's going to be on. That's going to be on NBA TV tonight. Let's see who made 7 30 eastern. So hopefully hopefully cooler heads prevail and nothing wins. Well, we don't even jokic is gonna play. She's not gonna play. So my guess is much like Isaiah Stewart and LeBron the rematch. Nothing is going to happen. Yes. And we're just going to play basketball, because that's how this stuff goes. It's the 10th contract he has signed with Miami coach Erik Spoelstra considers him essential for a number of reasons, including the example he sets in practice. Which is where hassle gets most of his action. He's appeared in just five games in the past two seasons. "Welcome back so now beginning to continue this conversation by looking one of the big reasons. Why the gig economy has exploded in the last year that would be the pandemic with so more people embarking on gig work of reasons ranging from increase flexibility people who lost their job people who just fancied aside haslem. Now's the time to do it. what this meant for financial services aimed at gig workers so essentially what will in this section is the drivers behind the need for more financial services and perhaps the drivers for more financial services providers coming to market and the last eighteen months to serve this group. So i mean as anybody sort of seen given your own customers do. Do you think you've seen more people move from doing gig work on the side to doing good work as their. The main source of income has that has been an increase basically in the number of people who are doing gig work fulltime and therefore their financial needs are greater. Because when you're just doing on the side you can sort of handle the old receipt or the know payment here and there but if it becomes your fulltime job becomes much greater imperative as it's have services enable you to manage your income more effectively at no i don't you guys have your customer bases popped she control from that. Do you think that has happened. Yes so just just to take a step back some things that i thought were interesting during the pandemic just to know is that the average annual income in the us amongst freelancers is now about sixty three thousand dollars a year and that actually remained stable through the pandemic. Which i think is fascinating when you think about it and it indicates that being a freelancer big worker was actually the most stable in quotes job. You could have during the syrian and we certainly found that at least in our middle class segment of the population in that. They had the panic that i was very natural the market amongst at all freelancers workers initially and then quickly iterative into new jobs or marketing to different clients and everything and i think that's reflective of what i like to call more flexible workforce ray and i think is more indicative than any industry or income level of folks. That are really leading into this face. Full-time is that. They're very flexibly minded right and kind of applying multiple income sources to aggregate into a a singular in growing a level of of income. You want to comment on them. Your i think from our perspective again. Kind of refocused traditionally around the lower to moderate income We found that people during the pandemic returned to get work which was mainly motivated by limited cash flow. You know when we surveyed a more on our platform eighty percent had less than five hundred dollars saved for an emergency in so especially with ours being so unpredictable last year from traditional employers many really just turned two gig work in a contract work to boost their earnings by thought one of the surprising things though we found in the data was that for the workers at were turning to gig opportunities. They mainly relied just on one to two platforms to pick up work while retaining their full-time employment or their w jobs but yeah we could see probably that shift as workers turn to more gig work fulltime for us. We saw really just acceleration of all the trends. That were happening. Pre pandemic like you know people are more and more going from this kind of concept of need in half to work A gig job or you know using it to supplement income to under you know as millennials become the largest generation in the workforce gen z. In the workforce people are choosing to work in this flexible manner and as the platforms become more and more robust as benefits become more and more available. However you define benefits We were already seen as trend. We think the pandemic probably accelerated a good five seven years. Though in that you know it's it's funny right. People have positive and negative connotations around the gig economy but the thing always says whatever the reason is you're in the gig economy the cool thing about it is. It's there for you right like this concept that i can push a button whether i want to or not right rather i'd rather be doing something else or not and make money and that's a very very powerful thing and i think the pandemic really show that from your home from your phone from your computer. The ability to leverage technology and make money and like be up and running that day get paid that day. Those things i think became just tremendously highlighted throughout a covert and. I think that that trend is only going to continue and it was more of an acceleration than something new and then to your point about transportation specifically which is our top industry gig wage. You know these workers that are driving. We do everything from you. Know food delivery to non emergency medical delivery parts delivery we pay all kinds of people to deliver all kind of people deliver actual deliver cars and oxen's and we see all kinds of stuff like we're seeing a a myriad of benefits around that a lot of insurance products around the transportation vehicle industry. How do people pay for those and get those and so. The transportation industry has been impacted. Tremendously unemployment rates were super high during the pandemic and so again gig economy was really just accelerated during the pandemic. Do we think been that that. That trend is is here to stay in. Craig i think. You pretty emphatically suggested that you think it is here to stay more people going to choose to work this way. Investors hope. Maybe it's an unfair question you're listening. I mean that's going to come back to you. 'cause 'cause yeah 'cause you'd suggested that you you're one of the initial drive shortly people needing more money. Do you think that they're going to. They're going to stay doing what they're doing now. They're going to try and go back and look for from classical. Shall we say who all traditional kind of job working patterns. Yeah i think that kinda reiterate craig's point like people will enjoy the flexibility right of gig work and the flexibility to it's really powerful to you know again. Pick up a job that day and on your own hours in your own terms and get paid and we definitely have seen that shift in consumer demand right on the worker side as something that i think is only gonna continue to grow. I think to layer onset both creggan Sweet i think that what we've seen as people love the flexibility. They're afraid of the lack of structure. Right it's easy to walk into a nine to five job. Have your first week be consumed by filling out paperwork. Have hr and finance telling you you know. This is what you need to fill out. These are the numbers you need to put in here. Here's your business card..

"Be in an ideal world. Your quarterback just says go hawks but even the go hawks guy in seattle got a little pissing off season deal with it. Corporations are not going to have the control forward. That's just the reality of nba teams the players valuable the tv. Show the stars more valuable. The reality is you know with aaron. Is he's gonna keep poking the rips. Why because when you make thirty five million dollars a year not married. You can do whatever you want in your is talented and is smart and you can do jeopardy so you know. There's there's a new world where it used to be the corporate titan just said do this and you had to do it in those days are over ever. There's more platforms. There's more places to go by the way in the nfl. Nobody did trades now. Everybody does trades. Nfl quarterbacks didn't demand anything now they demand stuff so we're having a little bit of a cultural sea change. Is there so much money in sports and the nfl. It's not going to become the nba. Just because the cba in the nfl is so owner gm friendly in the nba. It's the collective bargaining is more favorable to the players in baseball. The empires have as much power. Sometimes as as the team. So very unionized sport. So i just. I think with aaron. It's just in a weird way. We should all celebrate aaron because he makes the sport more interesting. The nfl's has been the most corporate sport it's the most powerful to give you an example of how powerful the nfl is the nfl. Goes to networks and tells you what you're going to pay. I mean we negotiate for four years but in the end we have no power because we need it. Cbs needs it nbc. Needs it fox. Needs it now. Espn is owned by disney. So they're so big they push back a little. In fact i'd make the argument that espn's nfl coverage is the weakest of the big four in the last several years. They've also been more critical of the nfl with their sportscenter journalism coverage right they got the best deal in the nfl contract. Why because they have leveraged. The nfl rolled over anybody. They could and disney said. We'll pull out and won't do it. And they got the best deal then mean they have the best games or the best but they got a better deal so the reality is is when players now have leverage they use it and the nfl has leverage and they use it am inc forever leverage. They used it in. So i think we just. We've come to a time in america. Where the where. The athlete now has leverage. He's gotta deal with it and you're in the idea that everybody is going to be russell. Wilson go hawks that guy this offseason used as leverage. So it's really important. Now that when your running an nfl franchise obviously you wanna get good player. You have to get the kind of personality sean. Mcvay and less need with the rams. They are willing to move into players. Move off of players. They're very flexible. Pete carroll john snyder very flexible will move off. Players will make big trades. You know the days of being rigid running in nfl franchise. Good luck with that. Seattle and the rams are great examples and their two of the top five sixteen in the league. They are deal makers they have big swings. They'll listen to players stuff can go public. I think that's the future the nfl. I think we're seeing more and more. Nba the nfl. In terms of the players have say well. That's why i've said. I'm on aaron rodgers side this whole time. It's not necessarily. Because i would have done at the same way or i agree with. He's upset or any of that. It just doesn't matter. Aaron rodgers is one of four people we just. We just did the living in a world of the top. Five top ten quarterbacks. It's called four people because we don't think josh allen is on his level white so let's call it four people in the world walking god's green earth that can do what he does mahomes brady aaron rodgers and it was the other one thousand russell. That's it yeah. So those four by the way in the last year year to tom got mad. Russell got mad. Aaron got mad and mahomes for the time being is perfect. Yes so that's ultimate leverage we know in negotiating and your business if you have more leverage you have more power than you usually get your way because that's how it works. That's how the balance of things works. And sometimes you have to give and sometimes you don't well if you're one of four people on planet earth that can do it. If you're unhappy guess what you gotta do. If you're the gm fix it because you're not one of four people on earth that can do what you do. That's right so it's a lot of times people say you guys defend the athletes all the time. It's not about that. We were very critical about but when you are great. Aaron rodgers has a lot more options this morning. Even even as they own his contract and the packers the packers could have a whole the most important position aaron gonna have nine teams bid on him and i am a defender of reality so everything that you just said about how. The culture of sports has changed. The amount of money you can make. Outside of sports has changed the platforms. That you have. The world is different. So if you're just burrowing ahead all scours done great see later. I hope that works out for you. It won't because everyone else is moving. In a different direction. players have been controlled forever. most still are controlled. There's about two percent that have not total control but some control management always had the control their only having to give up control about two percent of the time. So when you really look at this it's a really easy fix be less rigid. If you've always had controlled the new world is there's more platforms. There's more money there's more trades. there's more.

josh allen america Russell Aaron rodgers Aaron Espn go hawks aaron earth nine teams Mcvay four years aaron rodgers espn Wilson Seattle one Nfl nbc tom

Are Freddie Kitchens and Baker Mayfield Holding Back the Cleveland Browns?

"GonNa go right to the fourth quarter quarter with the browns so they're down for points and Baker Mayfield and the browns run a draw play on fourth and nine and not surprisingly they came up short short then late in the fourth Cleveland at another opportunity with the first and goal from the four yard line the browns called four straight past plays with the last one resulting in an interception from Baker. That is the game for the rams after the game coach Freddie Kitchen said he regretted the play calling late in the game but Baker said it was more than that take a listen. If you're looking blame somebody blame me. Don't blame me of our players. Don't blame any of our other coaches. Just blame me because I can take it all right. So you know just blindly go go rach article and say I must have game up. Go article and say smile faulted. Things not looking like it did last year because it is. I know what you guys are. GonNa try and do is talk about the playcalling they call him but I said executions the most important thing you know whatever whenever we have called we gotta do our job all right Shannon how much blame that does Freddie Kitchens deserve here. There's a lot of the blame because give the office coordinated the coach and he's the play caller. I Guess Bakersfield Dangerous yesterday. Did you wake feeling dangerous. Gear Alexa dangerous lately. He needs to feel the need to wake up feeling danger. Tennessee woke up feeling real dangerous and that they did. Did you know what skipped look. Freddie is learning that that's to wear two hats in the NFL gets a really hard job. That's why a lot of a lot of guys. Just give that up they either just keep the headset on so they can hear everything or they call you like Andy. Reid is very unique cow Shanahan and guys like that a very unique skipped dream to be able to call the plays and be a head cold but Freddie the the thing that's hurting frady is expectations afraid of the head coach last year if they didn't have these expectations but because of the way they played the close out the season yeah and now they add dale they will add alleviate Vernon they they get they get agreement. We've the draft you like who the brow and you see the subtractions in Pittsburgh. Maybe is no longer there. ABC's no longer there yeah yeah and then what week two bengals out so now that really ratcheted up taste so now everybody expecting the browns to be really really good look doc. That's why I say each year in of itself because last year has no bearing on this year and I think the browns players and and fans are starting to realize that Freddie is starting to realize the expectation that comes along with expectations. I'm the head coach because he didn't have a whole lot of experience calling rolling blades. He's never been a head coach so now he's the head coach which means he's the CEO of the operation but by the same token. He's got a call all the plays now. I don't know what the hell call now. If I didn't no but elsewhere Freddie Buffalo Wild Wings Buffalo Wild Wings coat the fourth and now you can't what the hell is that draw draw play on Yahoo. They were GONNA try to fool Agassi's pass. It got eight yards do remedy it was he ended up seven yards short. I was wondering if I was missing something watching. I'm like wait. Am I getting the goal. You got shows. You got nick. You don't give you one. Kerry now was a live. Let's put back and let's run. It is so you go so you got nick who you save or. I'M GONNA keep everybody happy. I'M GONNA get down. Here's Kevin Jarvis if Catcher Chila. It'll be thirty okay. You give make sure one crack please. okay okay scared. We're told you you keep trying to keep everybody happy to win. Games in everybody's going to be saying 'cause everybody because everybody's GonNa be safe because they nobody's gonna be getting their catches and you'll be losing games and you're going to be in a lose lose situation wages and you're going to be a part of their now that Jimmy and de Havilland. They look like hold on Okay John Dorsey now. We gave you everything everything that you want it. You got a quarterback overall. You got all these weapons. Jarvis Landry got a you got Joel hurt him but here's the things when you you made that trade y'all trash because you got the ninety nine deflategate boy human too. We're talking about the guy who had zero Saxon three the playoff games and it has zero sacks against the cowboys and the Guy who took the Cleveland browns cannot protect Baker Mayfield. They haven't for free games and the Rams took full advantage of that last night. What did I say Friday. Baker Mayfield is about to be in the wrong place at the wrong time against Wade Phillips defense offense that Cap Tom Brady and check for almost the entire super bowl. Am I right about you. Skip in another thing before I let you go. They traded their bust of Islam lobby. Get Out I'll be at the end of the day. You can have all the shiny pieces. You won't skill all these cashier that look nice. You better have a guard or to guard the money now. The money right now is six Baker Mayfield. You got a bunch of predate cashiers. You Got Jarvis and he got dale. You've got all that stuff. I did pillows but nobody protecting the money in his sketches for fifty six yards really the impact the game. Do you remember any of Nope. NOPE nope nope no so given that that was Wade Phillips Defense and right now. I think that defense is even a little better than then. Bill checks defense. That's how good it is because it has more star power to it because to leave did a number on Odell last night. I don't care what you say. You know. They'll get loose down on the field one time he had a nineteen yard catch. It didn't do much okay now back to Freddie Kitchens. I'm not sure he's going to last a whole year. I'm just not sure because bag years kept finding coach in the middle of the how I think it's it's just getting a little darker and darker in Cleveland because remember they have to go go to Baltimore next Sunday Baltimore better than everybody thought in there I think five point underdog there are five and a half actually five and a half point underdog so that the game you better believe believe it or the forty niners three and Oh yes they beffa movie bouquet. The next game is a Monday night game in Santa Clara against against the forty nine. It's Elizabeth game and then the seahawks visit. Seok student looked great yesterday but they did go to Pittsburgh while Rothlisberger played the first half right. They're capable of beating the browns right now because the browns aren't very good right now what if they lose those games and fall to one in six what's Jimmy Haslem going to do with the expectations -tations through the roof of them. He already got one coach. That's still on the pay. Roll can still play a huge. I I know you have another guy on the payroll. Just bring somebody else hears Freddie's problem after the game. He's adopted this new. Oh poor pitiful pitiful me philosophy where he just says you. I'll take it all you know. Get the lay it on me. Don't blame the players blame. Oh Freddie doesn't really look like a football coach. Does he looks more like an offensive line coach so he he doesn't look like the head coach doesn't look like he's in charge and after the Games he's kind of admitting yes screwed that one up and I screwed that go ahead just say well. If you invite the media to run through that door trust me they're going to run through it and trample on you because he is now the easiest target in the national football league. You WANNA blame Baker. Can you not really do you want to blame Odell. No not really how Jarvis no hell out him yes. Yes you know who I want to be right now. I build Danny Jones. That'd be real petty. Okay believe anything you say I'm just saying I can't believe that guy number one he could do that. I don't think he's built. He's built wake ain't skill but you know what I think. Cleveland's defense is really good remember that they had four subs playing in the defensive backfield last night. All four starters were out in hung in and did that I mean I guess why they did it to me. Jared Goff's overrated scale. He's overweight did everything he could. CLEVELAND WON'T DARWIN THIS GAME. How many times do you go on the road and turn it over three times and win the football game you tell me it was three to one and turnovers with l. A. Three to Braley won the Dow many times. Do you get away with them. That's the recipe you want. The best recipe the loser role game yeah. Turn it over thank you. They did that and they still won. One hundred ten million guaranteed right Jared Goff my money yup lots of money so back to quarterback. I love Baker Mayfield old. I'm sorry I got to tell the truth is having a hard time. He's starting to lose a little bit of nerve because he Bolton Fast Komo News. I gotta get out of here. I gotTA get out here. He needed to stand in especially on the goal line and just make one of those rows without looking over his shoulder. It's the Ford downplay. He bolts pockets so fast. I know the play hard off the right. I think yeah I think that's probably a dollar and that was that was ended up being a clay that end up being getting away with the thing is is that sometimes these quarterbacks they look in the bubble instead of stepping up. They look into get outside up that skill once you get outside. Guess what you're doing you telling the defense. Basically I got from the Hash to the side attitude rolling to the every once in a while. We'll talk about Lamar Jackson. You'll get away with a bail out with Obama did you. Did you know you don't make that. You'll go broke doing that. I would agree but Baker. Hey sometimes you gotta you gotTa Take
