"Am Benjamin Day. F- Names Stephanie. Nakajima and this is Medicare for all the PODCAST for everybody who needs healthcare except for Harvey Weinstein Harvey Weinstein. Oh I can't imagine why you're leaving about it not that cruel. Actually because he doesn't need it any way because he's going to be in prison. I mean I feel like I should say there are a lot of people locked up right now. Who Don't belong there and offer the prison abolition movement But at least let's get Weinstein in there before we yes. He'll have his health care. Although there are major issues with prison healthcare that will not go down that rabbit while now right because there's too much that has happened this week in the world of Medicare for all Especially this Nevada debates. Now you watch this shit in real time It was saucy. What did you? What was your initial takeaway? I watched it later. But it was a bloodbath. Elizabeth Warren with on fire in addition to being on fire Elizabeth. Warren actually shockingly looked at the health plans of some of her opponents. Who Do not support Medicare for all It's amazing how little this actually happened. So let's hear he dubs throwing down with people to teach and Amy Klobuchar at the same time so I took a look at the plans that are opposed to boost judge. There are four expenses that families pay premiums deductibles Co pays and uncovered medical expenses. Moroder judge says he will put a cap only on the premiums and that means families are going to pick up the rest of the cost amy. I looked online at your plan. It's two paragraphs families are suffering and they need plan. You can't simply stand here and trash an idea to give healthcare coverage to everyone without having realistic plan of your own. And if you're not going to own up to the fact that you don't have a plan or the plan is gonNA leave people without healthcare coverage full coverage. Then you need to say so sick. Burn seventy what did you think about? I mean we'll we'll get back to the church but let's focus on amy. Clovis for now what did you think of that epoch? Takedown you know. She was basically just doing the moderator's job here. She says that she support universal healthcare on her website and then to prove it she links to one of her tweets on a rural hospital funding. Bill that's not quite the same as universal healthcare for all in Springfield. That's like evidence of her universal health and the rest of the paragraph says that she believes the quickest way to get to universal. Healthcare is through a public option. That expands Medicare or Medicaid or. Maybe she hasn't decided yet. I feel like can we please stop dragging Bernie for not publishing a financing plan when Lavar doesn't even know which programs? Yeah and Warren later says that this is basically a P- posted note. That's like insert your health plan here and that is legit true She says Kosher has absolutely nothing about her plan. It's not a plan. It's just a I support public option and I think in fact their mostly running on not Medicare for all right. We don't even know what their plans have been because there have been no questions at the debate so far about either boot `age or club. Char's proposals because the media is so obsessed with the question of cost as if that's like the only thing that matters about a healthcare plan and we end up ignoring other crucial considerations like how many people would be covered. And how would access be affected And I think that this is like twenty sixteen all over again when Hillary Clinton skated on on a paper Thin Plan. That got absolutely zero scrutiny. I actually wrote an article in common dreams back in March of two thousand sixteen called the disappearance of Hillary Clinton's healthcare platform and I went through all of the health big national health reporters who basically did not support Medicare for all and we're backing the Clinton plan and none of them in any of their articles actually said what is in Hillary Clinton's plan. It was kind of a collection of weird incremental reforms. None of them were spelled out. Obviously there is no cost analysis. It didn't say how many people would be covered And again she wanted to claim the moral high ground of I support universal healthcare but had no plan actually get there same thing with Amy Klobuchar and the New York Times endorsement of Hillary Clinton that year actually they cited specifically her healthcare plan. As being one of the reasons they were endorsing her and they said specifically that it was a realistic plan. Even though it wasn't a plan at all and they don't know what's in it. Yeah and you know I in a way. I'm proud because the Medicare for movement has so dominated this debate that it's all that anyone really talks about so Kudos to us. But if you want to attack Medicare for all you actually have to have some scrutiny of your plan right. Yeah I want to see you in the next debate. The moderate candidates challenged on whether or not their plans can actually get us to universal coverage because they're claiming they're claiming that universal health care is absolutely goal and that we all share the goal of universal health. Care and I want to see if their plans are going to get us there. What are the odds that the moderator asks questions? We should start a petition gambling pool so we skipped over Buddha chick but let's take him next as sort of a separate issue. I'm GONNA play a quick clip here. It is a plan to solve the problem. Make sure there is no such thing as an uninsured American and doesn't without kicking anybody off the plan that they have this idea that the union members don't know what's good for them is the exact kind of condescension and arrogance that makes people skeptical the policies. We've been putting forward here. We have a plan that the majority of Americans support. Wow that was a lot of righteous outrage Ben. What do you think yeah? So He's referring to his plan here of course And the interesting thing to me. Is that Buddha churches entire line in this is that Medicare for all his divisive right even. Though it has strong majority supported the entire population like almost all Democrats Support. It divides the elites and everybody right exactly divides people making money off the Healthcare System. And those who are being screwed by the healthcare system but he and the reason that he saying his plan is not devicive is because he's mostly pushing a public option And the public option tends to poll higher than Medicare for all. And that's because it doesn't. It's kind of A. It's like a very vanilla reform like a very slight improvements You get like another insurance plan to choose from to buy Obviously that doesn't change things for most people But it's less you know there's less uncertainty it pulls well what he doesn't talk about and we have new polling on this now is that his plan doesn't just involve a public option. It involves enrollment and retroactive enrollment into the public option. So if you're uninsured and you go to the hospital for example you will be retroactively enrolled in a public option plan and then build for it you then have to pay for it afterwards. So Again this is in the same theme of like. We're not actually looking at these plans. The other candidates have come up with and whether they work. Or whether they're totally like batch it crazy So shockingly morning consoles actually ran a poll basking people. I do support a public option plan but then do you support a public option. Plan with retroactive enrollment. Which is the plan. And they found that again. There is pretty strong support for public option. Initially but once you include retroactive enrollment like the Belichick plan does the support drops to twenty four percent right. Well so that is I'd say more divisive than right. Exactly so yeah. I'm liking that. We're finally looking at the alternative zero to Medicare for all and how bad they are. Imagine being billed for several months of premiums all at once a year or a year And you know if you're in that situation it's probably because you were having trouble keeping up with your payments in the first place so I don't think it's going to be that popular with people Struggling his poll says the the premium. You pays up to eight point five percent of your income. So that's going to be a big chunk of change to get surprised build by the government at the end of the year. And that's basically what it is surprised building instead of like a collective health insurance plan that we all are participating

"I'm looking at the hypocrisy among black celebrities. They can choose to pick on bill cosby but they won't say anything. Out of their mouths about Harvey Weinstein Harvey Weinstein is being allowed to pay this large large sum of money to his accusers and not having to admit guilt. Bill Cosby wasn't afforded the same opportunity. They put this Eighty eighty plus year old man in prison and Harvey Weinstein. A may be likely to. He may not serve any prison time. So why. Don't the Oprah Winfrey and Eddie Murphy and all these other celebrities say anything about Harvey Weinstein. I'll tell you why because they are afraid of the Jewish Backlash Lash if you began picking on a man who was pretty much responsible for opening doors for you in Hollywood. I doubt very seriously if you'll find any black celebrity not one black celebrity going against the Jewish Hollywood establishment because they are cowards. I even saw my brother the game because you know fifty cent came out against Oprah Winfrey Russell. Simmons is being being harassed. Now by Oprah Winfrey with this do documentary about his alleged sexual excavates with women who he said He. You had consensual sex with so oprah. Winfrey is now doing a documentary based off of that part of Russell Simmons Life and she did something on Michael Jackson's life. But why aren't you doing anything on Harvey Weinstein. You've taken pictures with him they you. We've seeing Oprah Winfrey and pictures with her kissing Harvey Weinstein just making all over him. And why isn't she exposing her friend. You I know why again it goes back to the Jewish lobby. You're you're not going to go against the the Hollywood Jewish establishment because they pay your bills. They open open doors for you and they can shit you out of the industry so it's easy pickings to talk about Bill Cosby Amanda. Don't control nothing. He he can't stop you from being in a movie. Can't stop you from having a television special. He can't stop any distribution of your material but the juice can and Harvey Weinstein Women One of the most powerful men in Hollywood. He can stop it. You know that twenty five million dollars that He's GONNA pay out to his accuses uses. He's not paying. A dime company is banned at so my question is what is going on. Who are these people?.

"Talked one seven one eight twenty as you make your way to work dawn, or I'm sorry. Elizabeth Ries is here with the dirt alert. Hello, elizabeth. Good morning guys. It is a very lovely morning outside of prison inside prison. I'm gonna tell you what's happening with Bill Cosby. Okay. He's apparently lecturing inmates on life lesson while he's in prison. He is relishing his time behind bars is what page six is reporting. He has been talking to inmates about staying out of trouble and being a role model for their kids. So he's been doling out advice to crowds of more than one hundred prisoners in as many as four lectures a week. And his spokesman says these are the types of men, he has wanted to get his messages across to for years. And now he has a totally captive audience. See what he did there. Oh, no. Most of Cosby's work with this group called man up. And this is a group for inmates. It's the worst where he talks about life lessons and not getting arrested again. And he apparently we've some humor into his talks. He is talking to inmates about how to set a good example for their children. Advice on finding post incarceration work drugging. Drugging women and having sex with them is funny. So far. Is very humorous. There has to be something I'm joking by the way for the for the for the humorless people. Say that now in twenty. We're in the outrage culture. I think there has got to be something very wrong with Bill Cosby. I mean, there has to be some sort of delusional, like, is there a part of his brain that he's physically able to shut off? Fat little attention, aiding. I mean, it is severe lack of self schism. Yes. And then just some the ability to just project, whatever you're doing onto other people. And if you constantly are berating everybody else for how badly they're behaving, then you can justify your own bad behaviour. I don't get it. I mean, I guess his defenders would say and I, I'm not I don't enjoy playing devil's advocate when it comes to Bill Cosby, but I guess his defenders might say that at least he's using his time in prison. Productively. Look, I don't know if I believe, I don't say, I don't, I'm don't believe that, but I guess some of his defenders might say that at least he's doing something productive. That's exactly what his publicist said. Despite the circumstances. He said, this is an amazing experience is what Bill Cosby said the circumstances. This is an amazing experience and how can they again because he doesn't want to ever admit that he was wrong. It's all a part of that narcissistic, arrogance is innocent. And so he'll just. Man in America. Are the ones with all the problems and he's done. It also right? Yeah. It just said, this is a week of hearing from two men. We don't really want to hear from OJ Simpson on Twitter and Bill Cosby, vis-a-vis prison. You know, to people that we really don't need to really hear from right now. I'm like, how I felt about Matt Lauer and I'm glad. Charlie rose name some shamed men different different Harvey, one different degrees of crime in severity. However, some have disappeared and are doing what you should do in a circumstance. You basically dig dig a hole. Take a sleeping bag and remain in that whole difference between the ones that admit it and the ones that don't. Harvey Weinstein Harvey Weinstein is still saying he didn't do anything wrong. Right. Bill cosby. I mean, Matt Lauer, and Charlie rose have admitted to poor behavior. Yeah. And I mean when it comes to Charlie Rosen Harvey, and Matt Lauer, I mean, there, haven't even been criminal charges. One could say that what they did was bad. But as of the Justice system right now doesn't appear to be criminal with Bill Cosby and Harvey Weinstein. We've got charges so you have criminal behavior or alleged criminal behavior in different cases. And they're the ones that can't that can't own up to their behavior. There's so many things that he could do. Retake crochet. Here we go. Yeah. That's true. Yeah. Yeah, very healing. His back in January. Moving on. What I'm saying. Yeah. Rob Kardashian back at the gym day one. He shared a photo on Twitter from inside the gym surrounded by ropes await bench and multiple resistance machines. And he said day one all good. So he's getting a lot of from his followers. I think it's fantastic. I think it is too. He's had a tough time. Anybody who has struggled with their weight can understand feeling hopeless. And especially for somebody like him who is insanely in the public eye? And I think he also is showing that body image and weight issues are not just a women's issue. They are not believe me. They are not. Let's take it from me. I did a Facebook live last night, where I was talking about my basement over the last year, you know, suits, don't lie. I don't know if there's an equivalent for, for women, but suits, do not lie. They are tailored to you in, in my case, they are tailored to every inch of me and over the last year and a half, two years. There is a blue suit that I used to be able to fit into and I got to a point, I got so big that I couldn't fit into that suit, and I would cry like I cried in addressing room several times. But now, I, I wore that suit for the first time with Sarah, Jessica. And I'm wearing it today. Actually. Thank you. I appreciate really happy that you didn't watch the bachelorette last night because. All. Asked about this because wasn't a little sit down. It was a sit down what's going on? There was all this drama between the guys. There's one guy that nobody likes right? I mean, this is kind of how it works. He's and he's very he's the one who said, I, I'm falling in love with you after the first day their course. And so nobody likes this guy. And so they've all been instigating all these fights and they just can't stand him and then she wasn't going to give him a rose. And then she did give him a rose. And it was a whole back and forth situation. But then they had to basically stop the show so that she could sit down with Chris Harrison and talk about if she was even going to be able to go forward. I think there was maybe nothing else going on. So they felt that having this little interview fast forward through almost all of it, and was on my phone and.

"This house just a freak. She's just freaky. And she was into this. It was it was almost like I say talent thing, 'cause they would they would brand these women with his initials and all of that. And so and Allison Mack, one of her duties was to go out and recruit and bring these women to this guy. Keith rainier, who was the Charlie Manson, the, the new school, Charlie Manson's kind of like that type of thing. So, yes, so you have those people involved and now they're speaking out trying to save themselves from going to jail for a long time. And now there's more information coming out about this Keith Rooney, I'm thinking, how is this guy if you saw the guy? He's an ogre but, I mean just like what did he what did he have over these women? What, what kind of food do? What kind of thing apparently he had something? And so do DAT. You do so way. Yeah. Yeah. You know, it, it seems to me like there were some drugs involved in a lot of that other stuff, but the front page, and I to go to New York. This comes out of new York Daily News, it says sex colts, weakest member, the weakest member of the sex cult, you know what he was talking about parents. This guy headed erectile dysfunction issues. Excuse me, near the head of the sex, call the head of. He makes his cO for himself and can't. Qena finish finish the session if you will. Can't seal the deal. Yeah. You go to all that trouble. The get these women come in and before him sexually, and you can't perform sexually, that is, that's you wouldn't talk about karma, whatever you believe in how funny is that they sky goes all this trouble to, to go through all of it create all these programs. All these impairment programs to scan these women to believe that, you know, they can be impounded in there and charge of them, you know, their lives, and this, and that just to get him in bed, and they get into gets them in bed, and it's a. Can't get it done. If this I found it to be very, very funny. So all right. So you did mention Harvey Weinstein Harvey Weinstein has agreed to a forty four million dollar deal to settle these lawsuits with alleged victims of his behavior, and he still has to answer to a criminal charge. But he's trying to get this these civil cases settle forty four million dollars a lot of money. Well, it's coming from insurance policy, he doesn't have to pay. What's yo? That's why. So, yeah. That's why so happy about insurance policies because he was a harasser confused now is insurance paying. I don't know. I haven't seen the policy, I'm sure there is sure there's a clause close, if you happen to walk out of the bathroom in your bathrobe open, and, you know, make a move on women, we will protect you just wonder what policy has sexual offence listed under the coverage. That's all that probably has to be New York life and Hefner. A New York life in Hefner company. I don't know. All I know these Selma cash will include thirty million to alleged victims, also the former Weinstein company employees and creditors because he does a lot of money. They're lost a lot of money thanks to that whole thing, too. Yeah. A lot of lawyers. So he's so he's trying to even out another fourteen million to the legal fees of like his associates, and all of us. So the, the money comes from his insurance policies and a lawyer for Weinstein's, brother. Studio co founder, Bob Weinstein told the bankruptcy. Bankruptcy judge in Delaware of this deal. Bob Weinstein is the only smart 'cause I only he's been involved in any of it. It was Harvey thing. But you leave a legacy of if he's leaving any sort of legacy, it's what's now known as the Weinstein, it's known in Hollywood. If you're an undue if you're an actress you trying to get a gig and, you know, you asked to come to do an audition at a hotel room. They'll say, oh, hope it's not a Weinstein doesn't pull the Weinstein on you. And the white St. move is the guy walking out of the bathroom with the bathroom open, and that's all that's all that's all that's on. Yeah. And so. Everybody's getting my question is this, how much is the pilot plant get? Clinking anything, you know that starting right? I don't I don't know if I have to tell it, but please. Google it. You'll know you'll get the joke if you go. Okay. So I have always said with her smoke there's fire when I talk about these things always said that. Now last, I don't know. Maybe it was maybe early in the week. There was news that self help gurus retirements van galleys and girls Tony Robbins. Everybody knows right? Tony Robbins been at this game the self-help game for oh my God. It's got to be well, over thirty years, right? He's made a fortune millions and millions of dollars. And he's a probably the most famous motivational speaker out there. Well early in the week three women came out and said that he was inappropriate with them and his conduct was inappropriate, and he tried to make a move on one of them. And he did the old Weinstein move back when there wasn't a Weinstein move, but he too was coming out. The Hollywood move, we've just come out of the bath bathroom with the, the bath. Robot anyway. So. When there's one ago I it sounds like a spurned lover. It could be, you know, that type of thing if it's too. Okay. Well, maybe they're in cahoots three. You got my attention, right? Okay. Well, four more women have come out told you when there's smoke, there's fire and always happens this way. It happened with Weinstein hat with Cosby all these all these always people because people feel like they can speak up. They feel like they're not going to be courage to be believed because there are others who came forward. So the latest accusations brings the total to nine women, I would say nine women from different. Eras seems to be pretty believable. When you say nine women who have made similar accusations collaborated without knowing one, another accusation that spanned three decades. This according to BuzzFeed news, Kimberly Stokes live with Robbins as his personal assistant, when she was twenty two told BuzzFeed news that he wants on inter a bathroom naked. But for a towel while she was in the shower then. The towel and she oath said leave. Okay, so that's that one move in ninety one and a Hawaii seminar Robbins reportedly pulled the hand of Sofia, occult Kokas onto his crotch, as well as groping her breast BuzzFeed reported this that mayor Myra Lance who attended one of the events in Ohio, nineteen nineties, that she was sexually harassed with unwanted kissing hugging and touching of the breasts. And then there's another woman Lucy Galvez the fourth woman told BuzzFeed she turned out a job Robbins because the sexually inappropriate almost predatory interview contains questions such as nudity. About my nudity. All right. So there's nine women. Now I there's this question, though. But when something like this happens does that mean gate, all the good things that this guy has done for people because he really has helped? I mean, I know people that took his course and said it was life changing. So the guy's scumbag. We know that, right? It seems to me like that's what these women are saying. Well, we right? With this either. I'll even have a cult coat. I love me in, but, but I, I have to wonder the people who actually gained some, you know, some, some good experience from this guy. And, and he changed their lives. I mean, they're like hundreds of thousands of people attended his seminars. Do you just not just discount that a lot of people struggle with this with Cosby too, because he had several TV shows? He's a comedic Santa comedian..

So when I learned that I would go away to speak to people just tick him off because I'm like, look, you can't tell me what I can. And cannot do I'm not that girl. I'm not that shit. You can't stifle me. But I didn't know that a bomb was coming. Yeah. Four zero four eight nine two two seven zero three so sad. So sad. Beyond the underage element. Beyond that, and that's already horrible and criminal an evil, but beyond that. The manipulation and control. I mean, it almost sounds like slavery. Four zero forty nine two two seven zero three. Let's go to Gideon Gideon. Good day. Welcome. Dr Ritchie when I look at this issue of how women in this country are treated and the bias industry additional system. It's really speaks to a number of different things. And the case that I'll use as a balanced against Bill. Cosby is Harvey Weinstein Harvey Weinstein a powerful eating Mike who is in the media as a media mogul is known for raping women Harvey Weinstein is walking around Freeman. And with cases on the football player. John rothlisburger known rapist, John rothlisburger still playing football walking around and his. Talking about being not John. Yeah. Yeah. And also on the Harvey Weinstein saga. He was indicted still is indicted. And he is awaiting trial. Right. He's awaiting trial. And the issue is he's money his influence. They have videotape of this, man. And what he's been doing now in the latest videotape. It is where he woman has accused him was rate is something that is so telling in so obvious. So at the end of the day when you look at America, and when we talk about human trafficking, or we talk about this whole economy, which is a billion dollar economy, maybe several Bill this is how this country was built. So there there is a causal connection between supporting voting loving this country that has created in the world community such a diabolical insidious type of merchandising of human beings. And yet people continue to give it its patriotism, our love and devotion. And we'll give our life for this country. I it's it's social engineering at its highest. And it's Tom foolery the leash. So what is what are your thoughts about this this, psychological, duplicitous nature that has been created among us? And yet we still love this abuser. Yeah. So I don't look at the country has an abuse. I'm looking elements of it. The cartridge self does not abuse. No, set free. No protect systems, just people. That's all it is. You got good people. You got bad people. I do. Concur. I do concur with your segment of the psychological aspect completely. Let me conclude with when we talk about it doesn't abuse under the. And that's it. That's the only reason why you describe it in that way is to is to provide legal liability and legal context. Harvey Weinstein to be criminally charged in New York
"Harvey weinstein now being charged criminally for months the nypd has said they believe there's enough evidence to arrest and charge harvey weinstein the manhattan da has been working to try to come up with evidence and a case that they said could be proof beyond a reasonable doubt and now appears and as we've been reporting this week a grand jury has been meeting and hearing evidence and that the results of that grand jury work is expected to be announced tomorrow with criminal charges being brought against harvey weinstein wow there's jonathan diesen we think msnbc for that so harvey weinstein now facing criminal charges i'm going to assume that those criminal charges within the statute of limitations and i think it's a reasonable assumption to make because a prosecutor in acting in good faith would never bring criminal charges at a barred by the statute of limitations number one number two from the reporting about harvey weinstein and his really disgraceful babe you're apparently went on for a really long time until even recently so i have reason to to make a reasonable deduction that harvey harvey weinstein harvey weinstein has in fact committed enough of a criminal cra enough of a sexual crime in new york within the statute of limitations too prosecuted to believe that a prosecutor can convince a unanimous jury beyond a reasonable doubt to go get a grand jury indictment and start this process so harvey weinstein is now going to be a criminal defendant in new york and of course you and i will have a whole lot more senior legal analyst time to
