Rose McGowan Says Gavin Newsom's Wife Tried to Silence Her About Harvey Weinstein
"Now Here's what Rose McGowan actually said at this press conference Cut 23 Go gives me no pleasure. To be the bearer of truth, which is sometimes ugly. But do you want a society that has gangrene on his leg, but puts on a fancy suit and pretend it's not there while they hobble and pain? What do you want to just stop? Look at reality. Take your medicine clean up the wound. And run. Run free. Why not change? Why not go big? Why not put a stake in the heart of evil? Because that's what this really is. This is good, and this is evil. And if you're tired of people looking at this country like the Florida of the world, which it is looked upon that way, because you know it's earned in a lot of ways. Um I know this place has it in it to be better. I know it does. I have met so many good people in this country, not the elite. Absolutely not. But the person I meet, you know That's the housekeeper. The hotel was staying at Um, who shouldn't even have that title because she's a queen of a woman. And then we have the Jennifer Siebel Newsom's of the world. Mhm. Why Why do you keep choosing that? Why do you keep electing that? Don't listen to their buzzwords called leaders, which is what these people are. I would know. I grew up in one. Like I said, they massage your mind. They keep your fear. They keep you in doubt. Mhm. They do all those

Elimination Communication with Go Diaper Free Founder Andrea Olson
"You were saying. You're hardly ever pooped in a diaper. So people listening are like wilbon. Where did they poop in the toilet or with breastfed baby. I let mine poop in the sink better for my back and it just rinse down and it's my sink but you know in the toilet There are these little top hat potties. Also start. I brought those to market a couple years ago because they stopped making them in singapore but in third world countries. You'll come across these top half hotties that you hold between your legs and They go in that. So yeah instead of using the diaper as a toilet use the toilet as a toilet from whenever you hear about e. c. and ec. Elimination communications. Basically you start any time between here. Eighteen months and it's based on their inborn instinct. They don't like their mammals. We are all mammals. And no ma'am all likes to soil. They're den or their caregiver or themselves so when they're crying and crying and you're like oh i've tried everything i've tried the breasts of trade to shush and the five s.'s. The whole harvey carb thing. Nothing is working. My baby is still crying. Then you look in their debris and you're like oh you and poop. You just wanted to be changed. It's actually not what was happening if you rewind a little bit. They're crying so you would take the thing off. Take the diaper off so that they could go hygienically. And if you think about it we wouldn't have lasted this long as a human species if we weren't born with those instincts to be clean and dry and so babies are constantly communicating to their parents. Hey i need this or any of that and with you see is just a matter of figuring out what that is for your baby and yeah it doesn't. There's no i'm too late. And there's no oh i have to do this. Full on every single line poop ec as an exposure technique so literally whenever you find out about it before eighteen months is all good and then yeah you totally do get to start wrapping it up at eleven months or even if you kind of have asked started or whatever and then you're like okay. I'm going to get serious now. She's walking This is a great time. Because in montessori school of thought this is the sensitive period twelve to eighteen months where this is their developmental task so they actually really want control over this during that period. So we always. I always recommend wrapping it up starting at walking and then yet by the time eighteen months comes around like if you remove the diapers early enough. It's so much easier and babies rise to the occasion. They're like oh and they've been watching you. They've been watching you and you're going bathroom and they're like i want to do that and i'm walking and i can and it like it's so straightforward of their instincts

These way on the outside and down at the rail is a lawson yada next in third between horses and moving up is a pocket square from fourth. Harvey's little goal is next in fifth in the opening quarter mile over the good turf. Twenty three and two fifth seconds now. The field is on the backstretch and it is summer romance in frontier. It is summer romance. The leader with vigilantes way still right behind in second on the outside is pocket square next in third loss in yati down at the rally on the outside is harvey's little comes out tika and six followed by lemme sta and magic attitude. Is the trailer the half in forty eight seconds as they ed for the far turn summer romance continues to lead here. It is summer romance now. By linked to have vigilantes way second pocket squares down on the inside and third harvey's little girl on the far outside and four then comes. I'll take a as the failed comes into the stretch. It is summer romance trying to go. Wire-to-wire harvey's little girl on the outside is al tika down towards laura's pocket square. Summer romance hair stablemate. I'll take driving up on the outside. Al tika has taken over some second it is. I'll take a and mattie franko till win the diana stakes so just as in the justice game it was al tika who was able to run down some romance summer. Romance of course going to the front in the just a game this time also up on the lead and they're just not able to hold off stablemate. They were well clear of the rest of the competition loss in. They're getting up for a third. Harvey delgado thought was poised to to run a real big one there and just faded a little bit back and forth but it was only a neck off. Second but i'll tika neck third. I should say down. I'll take a much the best winner and makes a to romeny franko on board this time. Of course mike. Smith ran last erode last time in the just a game but these two have now. You know some romance beat al tika three starts back in a group to over in europe but They've they've been running against each other their last three and a curious to see if they continue that. Because it's kinda turning into a fun little rivalry for the to charlie appleby runners. They run one two in the diana stakes the sanford stakes part of the undercard at saratoga for two year olds of course Odd this race was just loaded with debut maiden winners and it was wet who ended up getting bet the most The todd pletcher runner at data to even money in this race headline report at odds of seventy two also seventy-two on candy landing ticket. Listen back to the sanford. And they're off number twelve. Luca go really bobbled at the start. There goes trust our journey quickly to the front and quickly into the front by three lengths headline reporters next in second and then comes candy landing. Who is next in third. Although by ottoman empire in fourth weight is down the inside in fifth as the field moves up. The stretch and leader is long. Shot trust our journey with headline report in pursuit in second candy. Landing next third ottoman empire on the outside on the move in fourth then custodian v. Wade is down the inside insects. And then we come back to maryland. Brando who is racing in seventh position on the outside is code down at the rail is candy landing now moving up a spot. There is dance code. is the field. Hits the top of the stretch after a half forty six seconds is trust our journey but here is wet now on the outside and wit has taken over the lead here and wit is pouring on here in the stretch weight has opened up on headline report it is with the leader headline report in second and it will be with to win one hundred and sixth running of the sanford stakes and he did it decisively truly a powerhouse performance by wit here in the sanford since day down in san jose broke from the inside and stay there and it was interesting to watch ottoman empire who also had green silks. I was watching it. You know the seven-horse sometimes them in the one kind of look the same in the saddle towels. And i saw him an empire on the outside really getting pumped on much of the journey. I think it was said coach. Three wires the comment but it was you know being coaxed for basically the last five and a half furlongs of the six furlong race and so for a second there. I thought i go. Oh man the favorites already in deep water. But then i realized that i read was down on the inside with plenty of horsemen. Just made such a decisive move on the turn and came alongside of a headline report and also the early leader. Trust our journey and just blew right by eight lengths score Really curious to see what the figure comes back on On this one because obviously young horses. They aren't going to put up the the huge numbers. But you know really really dominating effort you have to think this one going to be a A major player going forward. Here we go. What did they get wit. Got a ninety. Wow that's pretty good for a buyer number. I'll you got a one zero one in the diana stakes but man the nice nice effort from web visually impressive and all the other plot. It's but you know. A two year olds timmy. I'm also fascinated to beat horses like this. They stretch out just because you know in the coming weeks and months these horses are gonna make so many changes in develop. And you know you're also going to have one's who've not even running yet that are gonna end up showing up some of the. Certainly you know. Breeders cup juvenile type races so big effort but just a six furlong stakes didn't want to get fired up about the allowance race In race eight. Everybody was talking about this. One is Kind of being loaded with talented obviously disappointing when credit trade who was kind of one of the ones With three or four choice at the time but was scratched. Just a minute or two before post but ended up being bo. liam who won a hard-fought effort over whitsun was the horse. Who was who debuted at tampa and was a huge winter down at tampa won by like thirteen. It was Super super impressive event. And then you know. Privately purchased by peter. Brant lapente for chad brown. So i mean i'm sure a pretty penny and man ran. A huge race was a little bit chilly. On the to- porn fact before the scratch of credit-rating think whistle was like seven to one but the morning line was eight to one. But i guess it's just what those connections you almost expect The horse to take more money. I ended up going off at night to just a a dime under five to one and ran. He just i just. I don't know how honestly whistle didn't go by but w kicked back down on the inside. Look like he did put a nose at front there for a second but volume able to counter back wins it by a nose and those two were well well clear of everybody else. It really did kinda turn into a a two-horse race even though it was certainly a very anticipated race in terms of some of the top ones but really the top three in the odds Ran one two three even though the two were way ahead of muhammed who finished third so a lot of ability and talent in that race and looking forward to seeing some of those horses. Come back over. Delmar real quick. The san diego was the weekend feature over there. Royal ship the winner of the great to californian to back just missed in the gold cup. Last time out by ahead was four nights clear express train. Royal ship goes off as your favorite here in the san diego at odds of eight to five five to one express train. You had three to one on rushie. Who's been based their sanita for a little bit.
Star Strikers on the Move?
"Thought would be in the show part discussing the possibility of robert. Lemon dos key going to manchester city whether this come from. That's a good question down. I mean let's be delivered of decide if you want you know that. Two years ago he changed agents to pinza harvey because he wanted. I think a move especially to madrid to go. Roads think he be felt that he had done everything that you could buy. Munich won't everything since then he's don't even more by munich including between the incredible record from moolah last season these seasons are just finished. And maybe there's a feeling for he's done or really with violence or maybe with two years left on his contract. A thirty two years of this is a good time to maybe get moved. There's a long way to go. The History Behind the Creation of the Pride Flag
"So we all know the wonderful rainbow flag that has become a symbol for all members of the alphabet mafia. But where did it come from. So in nineteen. Seventy eight artists and designers. Gilbert baker was commissioned by san francisco city supervisor harvey milk who was one of the first openly gay elected officials in the united states to make a flag for the city's upcoming pride celebrations harvey. Milk is a lot of good information on that man out there too. I almost covered him. You were about to say strawberries. I was like oh. She would've like stumble over at five times getting louder until we're like women. Are you stroking you no. Don't worry your past the time. Line of where i needed. Okay though so baker who was a prominent gay rights activist gave a nod to the stripes of the american flag but drew inspiration from the rainbow to reflect the mini groups within the gay community. He was influenced by the flag of races. Which has five horizontal stripes red white brown yellow and black which was popular among the world. Peace and hippie movements of the nineteen sixties. The rainbow flags commissioned by the fledgling pride committee were produced by a team that included artists. lynn seager. Who is known as the fairy argyle rainbow. According to her she created the original dying process for the flags. Thirty volunteers hand dyed in stitch. The first two flags for the parade. The original flag design had eight stripes with a specific meaning assigned to each colors. They were hot pink for six read for life orange for healing yellow for sunlight green for nature blue for magic and art into gopher serenity and violet for spirit i really like. Did you not know that. The flag colors actually signified. Why did but. I don't know i didn't know what they signified. I knew they all had significance. But what they dropped the sex one after the assassination of harvey milk on november twenty seven nineteen seventy eight. The demand for the rainbow flag greatly increased in response. The paramount flag company began selling version using stock rainbow. Fabric was seven stripes. Red orange yellow. Green turquoise blue and violet as baker ramped up production of his version of the flag he to dropped the hot pink stripe because fabric in. That color was not readily available. God it makes sense. That was a manufacturing issue. Yes like you just couldn't do it easily. So he said not school would just keep the other ones. So in june of two thousand and eight designer daniel quasar released a redesign incorporating elements from both the philadelphia flag in the trans pride flag to bring focus on inclusion in progress within the community or retaining the common six stripe rainbow designs the base the called the progress flag ads variation of chevron along the hoist the features black brown light blue pink and white stripes to include the communities of marginalized people of color trans individuals and those living with hiv
FEMA Has an Equity Problem
"Before you tell me about your visit with donny. Helped me understand the background. Here what is us role after disasters like hurricanes. Well it's pretty straightforward. Fema is supposed to help people with their immediate needs and safe. Stable shelter. is the big one. So people who own homes can apply for money to repair damage or finding a place to live if the house was completely destroyed. And there's also money to help cover the cost of rent or a hotel room and then sometimes fema brings in temporary trailers that you might have heard about an emergency housing. And what do we know about who ends up getting that money right. So that's the question. I've been asking for years now. Actually so all the way back in two thousand seventeen. I noticed that poor people seem to be struggling to get adequate help from fema and it was anecdotal and mostly noticed in houston after hurricane harvey back then there were some studies coming out that suggested that fema assistance was disproportionately benefiting whiter wealthier people. And i imagine you ask fema about that. And what did they say. Yeah i did and basically. They said that their programs were designed to be fair. Everyone can apply for help under the same criteria so it's a level playing field then fast forward a couple of years and i heard from a source of mine that fema had been doing some internal analyses about this exact topic. So you know a reporter. I asked to see them and initially fema denied that. Npr appealed months went by but eventually they gave these records to me and the records showed low income. Disaster survivors are less likely to receive some types of housing assistance from fema. When they do receive money they often receive
What Does Luxury Mean to You? With Special Guest Melissa Johnson.
"You feel. The luxury sector was changed. So it's been a really crises as said on the world economic forum that its global reset. What's this global research done for luxury for. Harvey nichols affect you. What you do. I would say i think. Obviously the look terrific harvey nichols includes obviously taken like a big hit in colorado as well as many of the browns in the sexes. So i think a lot of bronze and like trying to promote with more long term strategies. Now in terms of like back in you know like we've stole what's being close. I think about now about the strategy of you know what to do to bring those customers back into stores and things like that and to be fair and still did quite well during kobe through our online website him. Yes so we were still running through carbon and things like that we we still keep the business going so we actually still did really well and surprisingly are found that people are still shopping and i think now the focus is more being more creative thing and thinking more on. Fa in how to still put your message out there so that customers are still buying in like. I'm sure everyone that is not really been any fashion shows anymore. I think they're starting back up again now but things that like bronze of hunter just be more creative now. In terms of putting their collections out there and just keep customers like engaged and for harvey nichols. We're definitely trying to push more editorial stories. Now i think people are really interested in that sort of thing and i think that just you know opens up scope in terms of what we offer to our customers and also like with our stores reopening recently. Where getting back into like experiences that we have like in store such as giving customers rewards like we have our rewards app and it gives customers points and things like that so it kind of encourages to come back into the store and shot with a issue. I think it's just about a love. Customer with scott. Sorry iran's a so important. And i think especially was affected luxury sector is that you didn't really have that online service and luxury very much about going into the store and having that experience from my perspective. That's what they need to step up on his is being more digital presence.

How about that So chubb wagon that That's gonna cause some rework on the the middle the middle multi-race wagers. I will mention just Races that are or wages that are affected on that front include the obviously the philly and mayor double which goes to the acorn As well as the one dollar pick six part of that it's part of the grand slam and The pick five as well and it is the start of though late. Pick for things. It's the last leg is at the last leg of that. There's a middle pick for as well The middle actually the middle pick for is tomorrow so okay so no no I think the. I think the i think the fifth through the eighth tomorrow is also. There's an added pick four. I was. I was laying out the the charting of it. All right so no. Chubb wagon and Pratt on virginia. Yep all right this is this is good yeah it takes. It takes them Keeping up with all the best to have a today tomorrow all right looking at pressing. Let's go right into saturday card if you're ready What about what about the gold cup. The you know the I i wound up. You know it's gonna be off You know baron. Damadi is going to be You know it's going to run a big race and it's going to be You know tougher. Joseph o'brien but he's also going to be a real short price I you know. I don't have a strong conviction in my Pick care but i do like to trade a little bit off that fourth place effort last time at keeneland for mike maker You know saudi aramco Pretty good to three starts back in that. John john conley and he's just a force that to me has good he. He was far back in his last two races but he can set a little bit closer to the pace. I expect you know number two out of the to show speed as well for maker and those are. Those are two horses that i looked. Perhaps you know at that. Multi-race ticket Just in case. That baron doesn't show up with this bet that for safe very good all right. Let's turn to saturday. James scully with us james. What what you have written up What's on the twin spires block. I'm gonna. I'm doing the pick bob into the belmont stakes. But before i get into that i mentioned that i'm gonna go right back to the well in the acord steaks with obligatory tape. I think there's some pa- i mean. Obviously some faith in the rate Miss brazil being in there It'll be interesting to see traveled called and shakes out from but day out of the office and we'll be forward as well as thirty six on the morning line. I'm thinking about the ones. Probably you know might be okay all right..

"And a little while i would argue the main undercard feature even though a grade three and one hundred fifty thousand was the bogus stakes where you had harvey's little goal as you're heavy even money favourite over you know pretty interesting little field. Civil union for for chad are sorry for us soviet union for for shook thankful for todd. Pletcher and chad had nee lady may as well as the number two lanista who got some decent support. Three two one. Let's take a listen back to the ball. Game from saturday at belmont park and the rough good start from that inside posed for harvey is on the outside is a platinum painter now. Moving up to challenge platinum painter will grab the lead harvey's a little oil not far behind in second and then as a length to a lady who is sitting in third on the inside is a lemme sta on the outside is civil union thankful trails the field in sixth as they head up belmont back stretch the quarter twenty six seconds long shot platinum paint. Their has the lead over the favorite harvey's little and then it's a length and a half to nailing a who's running in third lem down at the rail and the outside civil union and thankful continues to trail as platinum painter. Lead here by a length and a half little goyal remaining in second a is next third followed by let me stuff and civil union thankful the toback the half in fifty and four fifth seconds. Platinum painter leads the field as they raced midway around the far. Turn harvey's little still in second. Nee lady now makes a move. Three wide. civil union makes a move as they come for the top of the stretch platinum painter. Harvey's little now right alongside harvey's little to take the lead from platinum painter who continues to battle on. Let me start has now moved into third. Then they lay and civil union. It is harvey's little goal with the lead love. Miester giving out our harvey's little and let me say they come on for the finish at it. Is they greg. How harvey's little to hold off. Let me stop in the bug as stakes. So harvey's little coyly grade one winner coming into this race Scores and other great three in make puts putzer earnings record up over eight hundred thousand dollars such a versatile cool horse i mean broke the maiden on the dirt at acqueduct going a mile and huge fashion won the boussaada huge fashion. Start thinking man. This is a kentucky oaks kinda runner and then just laid a total egg in the fantasy and the decided to turf wins in the turf toe back to turkey alabama runs okay behind skydiver and then since then has just been a turf machine i mean even i mean literally beat anakin the british cup philly mayor turf so sad a good trip. I thought junior alvarado had the horse well-placed throughout just off the early speed of platinum painter and pounce on that one and able to hold off limits to who made a pretty decent little challenge of the race Certainly i think chad and crew have to be excited with this. Horse was very cheap. Purchase back in twenty seventeen for how it with. The horse was bought and twenty seventeen as four years old has at work. They just by him as what's geo o. I don't you guys know. I don't know much about Some but apparently spot for eighteen grand like right after it hit the ground and subsequently one now one four but the four from overseas and now pretty good second here in the bogey to a to get things started for that one's career. The other state on the card was the fourth race in it was forensic fire coming from off the pace chateau got loose. I think as expected as clear second choice. But i thought it was going to be tough to to real in but frenzy fire. Certainly love belmont park does forensic fires. That's huge efforts. They of course think about the dwyer that racer a couple of years ago where he ran so so big but you know he's won the true north there. He's won the vosper. Aries six for nine now at belmont park in Two point three million dollars plus in earnings for the kelly breen training and a frenzy fire victorious over at belmont park at santa anita park. The weekend feature was the santa barbara stakes on the grass going a mile and half and it was tap water. Who went to the lead set. I thought pretty moderate easy fractions especially got a real breather in the third quarter twenty five and two but was not able to hold off the late charge of nash blonde. She was pretty wide throughout and ended up holding off writer for the cause. Who kinda shook late clearly in just missed. It was extraordinarily tight photo. But dennis blanche juan hernandez for leonard pal scoring for a matic at stables. Haven't laura on the ownership of course Trainer of the great azeri name. A little bit out of the past in terms of training training accurate but Yeah big big win. Therefore for blanche you know i like i said i got tap water and i kind of like blue nation. Big blue nation was just you know very wide and never truly put in much of a rally in in that race. So niche blanched. The winner of the santa barbara. So that's kind of it. I mean like. I said the weekend obviously got dominated by the the story of Medina spirit in the kentucky derby and we'll of course watch as that all plays out..

"The the second choice on top and the three five favorite beaten so But i do think from a pick four. Pick five perspective. That was a big separator for a lot of folks. Certainly you know the price. The price on helium was generous. I do think because the morning line being six to one that helium maybe play as big as fifteen two one in terms of that race but when you add in the fact that the favorite in the race before it got beat who was probably the single of the sequence. I think that's part of why you saw such good payoffs michelin with another one. Who was a higher morning line. Got bet down ran a gutsy race in hillsborough to get the score over morning. Molly who is a long shot. That i kinda liked Who rented one. Second chris on the sport of kings brought up a great point about new york oral from a trip handicapping perspective and kind of why she should be a contender and she was. She ran a huge race. Only length finishing up in third miss tehran. I stand by that kick in her. Last race was so impressive and they did not go that fast. I mean the horses that won the race turning for home were third second fifth so i mean they weren't like crazy far back and ms tehran had to circle up and was a little further back is going to be good later this year. She's already good. But i think she's going to have a real say in some stuff. I guess my best opinion. The with this race was magic attitude. Who i just thought was inexcusably. Not the winner of that race kina last time or at least more competitive against harvey little oil oil and i thought she had kind of a good trip. Just didn't really fire that much so You know we're we're we're all gonna have right opinions and wrong opinions throughout these races and that was one where Couple of more right couple of them wrong and the columbia stakes Wind from within. This is why i totally wrong and i hated. That horse ran off the screen so such is life such as life but a really fun day out of tampa bay downs. And what did they would. They handled about fifteen million. I think in fact. I think it was their all time record. Wasn't fifteen point two or something like that so happy for the folks down there and the a good car racing down at tampa bay downs as i said we'll talk some akwa duct tomorrow got a few other things. I wanna talk about on tomorrow's show and look forward to talking to jackie linda. Wait who's going to join the program tomorrow. So we'll have that conversation. Nancy holt is gonna join us later this week. Little horse player. Thursday sprinkled in and The jury weaken preview on friday. It's monday but it's going to be friday like super suit and next week is daylight savings time. Which i'm jack about. I realized i look forward to daylight savings more than i do some holidays. "That has been at the highest of highs end the lowest of lows in every single aspect in the last three years. We've seen them ray so a fundraising a it'll be exciting top to progress going forward and it was certainly weird to see. Some of the war will finish his career on such a such an odd note and moving onto the breeders cup turf and that this race will continue. The trend of the europeans absolutely owning the grass races on saturday didn't have a win. But they made up for that with a sweeping all of the saturday turf. Stakes away from the americans This arena was definitely a really tough one to watch At being someone who has been such a big fan of rushing fall throughout her career. She looked like she had it in very deep stretch and then she just got outrun by darya who really very good race in her own right for third harvey's little oil. You know. I kind of talked about this a little bit when i mentioned with fire at will. But she's definitely one that this will i think. Apply more so directly to her with the. There's a bit of a changing of the guard. Going on rushing. Fall is gone singer. Charlie will be gone so the big names in the chad brown barn have since retired. And it's really going to leave a lot of these three year. Old filly circa with kind of a bit of power gap For lack of a better term and harvey's little goal who's been so good throughout the year whatever surface. She's running on it. I think it's clearly been shown that she her preferred surface is a turf given the fact that she is a great one winner and his third place finish in the breeders cup on a grass surface. So we know that she's going going to really like the grass going forward. And i think that she's one that to watch out for in terms of you know she can be one of the leaders to take over from these chat brown horses that have been dominating throughout the last Three calendar years two thousand eighteen nineteen and twenty. It'll be really interesting to see who else accompanies her mean. Mary disappointed a little bit with her her. Finish in this race but it wasn't a bad race as she did have not the greatest trip but she did have some opportunities and ultimately you know some of the other chad brown horses sister charlie. Her final career raise my sister. Net also did disappoint a little bit. And i think the big disappointment of the race was starship jubilee. Dumping jockey at the start of the race. I think it would have been a really fun to be able to see her running. You know given the fact. She is one of the real feel good stories of this racing year. I think it you know. It's really unfortunate that we did not get to see her at least perform on breeders cup stage. Because i do think she would have had something to say about this Philly mayor serve even if it wasn't a winning effort like point.

"To know each other. And you do get to know each other a little bit differently. when you're exploring opportunity with someone versus only when you're looking to recruit for their team. So i think it gave us a little bit of a richer foundation for relationships great. I guess i've not been the only one a been working with you. Eventually position was a candy the four and then he became also your clients. Yeah absolutely the up. I think it's something like seventy five or eighty percent of our clients and most of our most significant clients in terms of have been with folks that we have met people that we've met through the course of doing and conducting searches. So that's a big reward. Really getting to know people in outweigh so was great. I'm looking at while the reason behind you you are right now in your studio upstate new york right you are. You're not just through there. You're also an artist of a the green design. How the fact the you are in office. You are design out. That helped you being a cruiser. Oh it's a great question Well let's see huge connection. So when when i started to recruit it was very easy for me to understand how to make fits in terms of visual aspects of design. Strong background in our history analyzing imagery comparing imagery so that that part of it was very very easy our designer not the scene But we are all driven to communicate share ideas right so i think that there is a bit of a connection just in terms of intent. In the way we pursued the work we do but also I know what it feels like to you. Know to to put yourself out there right. We're presenting work and sometimes it's received dwell and sometimes it's not so as a recruiter. I'm judging evaluating work every day. Some candidates are chosen and some are not so. I think that it impacts my work midterms of how i come to this from a very careful and sensitive plays so for me. This is business But it's also personal also personal as well you will these your star. You did study raise the and and then you became a recruiter audi that it's an interesting trajectory so of miami I was immersed in great design actually in a mid century hall so herman miller aims null The products out. My home was filled with clean. New design was I was an only child. I was raised by a single mom. My father died. When i was two and my mother was a nurse and she had a master's degree also in public administration from nyu and after my father passed away decided to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a doctor. And so she started in mid school when i was four. So the berry. Nontraditional up premium At that time the university miami's interesting was located in the stables of the biltmore hotel which time was. va hospital is incurred gables. Actually not far from your office in miami We did not have a lot of money. At school was a struggle. I think the one of the important things to know is in of just might experiences was there is an extreme level of discrimination at the four women in my mother's class were subjected to over an ugly level of harassment by professors. Who were trying to get these women to quit and Lead the program. So i think part of it was the takeaway that i realized to be successful. I would have to work harder in many cases than men to achieve the same results and also to accept a except and expect obstacles. I think one of the things that was interesting was that even with all the challenges that she faced. My mother was never a cup. Empty half-empty person. She was optimistic She was intense since she was tough. She had to be But she was a kind compassionate person whose commitment to caring for people really drove her. And so what's interesting. Now is my firm in addition to fashion and beauty and consumer a lot of work that we do. I'm doing a number of healthcare and technology engagements with companies and so it feels a little bit on the on that end up the recruiting side a little bit like hall so i wish is alive that she could see how much the work in these in this area and a means to me. But you know it's it's. It is a familiarity in a comfort level for me working with these folks. I think having grown up in med school. How did you become a cruelty that ben. I'll did you stop. What was a or like ogun going to build a cruiser so well look. I didn't have an interest in science. And i was not on the math team. Like my mom who was incredibly bright in in science anathema veteran center was free so i decided to pursue a fine art career. I started in sculpture. I was at the university of wisconsin madison for my undergraduate degree in looking under a fantastic sculptor named deborah butterfield. Who create incredible life sources at a junk metal driftwood. She's quite accomplished. During the course of my work they are started to build large scale installation pieces using a lot of translucent materials on dj plexiglass and glass and discovered that the glass studio which was across campus and part of the department was led by the founder of the american contemporary glass. A an artist named harvey little. So i moved my over to that studio and had an amazing experience I dedicated my war began to focus at that time. Relatively lucidly in class material in medium. Study and i experienced tremendous success. My work was in a number of significant exhibitions including a really prestigious a group exhibition that was organized by the corning museum of glass travel nationally. Internationally to the metropolitan museum in new york to the dr museum in san francisco to the move. So this i was young. This was an incredible. You know a credible experience. Corning union actually owns the the piece from that exhibition in it really launched my professional career. So what happened. Was i decided as many students move to new york and that included finding a fulltime job. So the the whole shells who's an industrial designer who who was the vp of design at steuben glass. Which was by corning glass works. We met through this exhibition. Because i was in corning for the opening and method method designers. We also video of when Sean Sinclair make baked Alaska for 100 of us. That cast the NATO last year, which was amazing. And so we really want people to join us and sign up for this, and we really want them to go on the auction. And this auction is a silent auction that which then we pick up after the dinner and finish and finish everything off with with the really big Item, So some of the things we're auction off this year. We have an amazing a blanket basket from La Fonda and one of the original baskets that Mary Coulter had painted. Alan Affeldt donated that it is gorgeous. By the way, I want it. Everybody wants a Susie CDO. I wanted it. The minimum of starting bid on that is like 600 bucks, right? 9 900 bucks on like that. Yes, And we have this dinner for four Lafont of the Shah at the chef's table. Dinner is the first thing we're auctioning off when people to bid on that right now because They have to win it by Friday. So you can come eat with us on Saturday. That's a dinner for four. Everything, wine and everything. And again, Jenny Kimble, Jamie Clements will be your servers. I think people would pay just your servers, regardless of the food, But I think that'll be that'll be really wonderful. The H F course company, which makes the amazing reproductions of Mary cultures. Membreno China, which is very beautiful. Their beauty donated a 12 piece serving of membreno, China to this which we will be auctioning off gorgeous. It's gorgeous stuff, and you can get it in the original red, which people know, but there's also a black version of it that El Tovar uses Oh my God. We also have one original Membreno plate that was donated. By one of our favorite Fred heads in Kansas City. Heather Paxton from her collection is that Harvey family Harvey Family members donate stuff from their own collections. Daggett Harvey is donating two champagne glasses that Fred Harvey actually used. So this read this read platter pieces is old. Yeah, the single Membreno pieces actual Membreno piece from back in the day, Membreno China was started being made in the 1930 reproduced now, Stephen being reproduced now. It's very produced, but the original pieces obviously you're worth lakhs for me. Fred Harvey Materials are really collectible when I was working on my friend Harvey biography, Appetite for America. I was on eBay every day because there's certain things you can't see anymore unless you find them on eBay. But people love collecting friend Harvey Materials. First of all from Harvard, people had amazing taste. So they own amazing Native American art, the commission lots of Native American art and Western art. And there's a lot of art with it with a friend Harvey and perimeter that people probably don't even know has a tide of Fred Harvey. All right, so some of those were some of the really good pieces. The dinner, the blanket box you can donate as much as you want to the foundation for the History Museum. You can buy a coffee cup with a With a Harvey girl on it for 25 bucks, and not everything is big money on the on the auction. Some of the pieces are really, really, really nice or the goofy dude. I thought it was Jeff Goldblum it at first in in a chair he's going to do a book club. Kind of thing is, Is that you? Oh, that's may. So thank you. So my donation this year I gave two things one. I'm going to do a book club. Where I will. I will sign 10 copies of appetite for America. Okay, send them to your book club. Oh, you can read it. And then we will organize a zoom for your book, Love and I will talk to you until you were out of questions. Okay on it could be done anytime. And, ah! So we're doing that I also gave up several years ago. A beer company in Flagstaff made a special, eh? That had pain boy son done for the Grand Canyon right on the seven stages of drunken. Yeah, and it's now out of print. You can't get these cans anymore, but I had an extra set of them, so I'm putting my set. Up for auction and these cans are really cool in the paintings are really wonderful. They used to hang in bright angel Lodge in the bar. Oh, my God! And the starting bid on that is only 35 bucks. Right, So we tried to have things of all different price range is some people are incident. Friend Harvey, You're interested in books because a lot of the old friend Harvey catalogs have some of the most amazing Native American art in them. And the Harvey companies, really. They introduced Native American art all over the country. People would buy it on the trains, they would buy it in stores in the train station's William Randolph Hearst. We know collected everything is there to do. His first in Native American heart he bought was from a friend Harvey Little store that was set up in Chicago. And that's how he became obsessed with Native American art in any but I guess all of it For a period of time, So it's a It's amazing story. Amazing tradition, but the auction is online. Now you could go up on it and bid on the dinner and start bidding on the other things. It'll be open. It's a silent auction until a week from Saturday and then Saturday night. We will we will do some of that. We will finish up some of the bigger items and you'll also meet some of the donors so well zoo When we're going to do their thing, we're going to zoom to them. We'll zoom to Daggett Harvey Jr. Chicago, and he'll show you friend. Harvey's glasses that were that were auctioning will zoom. You, too. Helen Harvey Mills, and she'll show you the original catalogue for the friend Harvey Art Collection. Which she has a copy of that She's allowing us to auction off on many other things. So you'll you'll meet Alan after Valentina. They'll be in Winslow. I mean, if you're going to be on zoom, you might have all you.

"We'll talk a little bit about working out Santa Anita and much more. He was actually in when I talked to abusing like Michigan Mike on a vacation or something. So we'll get to George here in a in a few minutes. I do want to touch a little bit on the Keeneland Cart, day Mostly. Because there was a couple of interesting horses I thought a for Wednesday card, the Fifth Racist Forty Thousand Dollars claimer and I noticed that intrepid heart you might remember from the Belmont. Twenty nineteen I actually was third and the Peter Pan you know he's kind of a good todd pletcher up and coming type while he's you know they dropped him into the claiming ranks and he got claim but it was voided last time out. So I think you have to. If you're avoiding claimed like don't you have to go to the bench for a while and do some works I don't know how a lot of that stuff works you know with. Claiming rules and all that kind of things. But I'm assuming they can't void the claim and then just let the horse run a week later because, why would the claim avoid it because it's generally for injury you're you know something so but they voided it for fifty now the horses in for forty two and a half months later and his five to two on the but he's also coming off two wins the the void claim is what's holding me up here 'cause he won for a higher claiming price at Saratoga you know last time out when that claim was voided and so it's it's clear that I think they know they you know our The. Horses not going to be with him but you know I don't know that that kind of weird me out and then. Harvey. Wall. Bangers in here who was claimed for forty last time out you might remember Harvey Wall, Banger, he's run those two huge races at Gulfstream Park What was it? Was It the Fountain of Youth that he won. He won one of the big three year. Old Races may was earlier maybe it was the Holy Bull. I think maybe I don't remember but and then he came back in won an optional sixty two at Gulfstream early this year where he made like insane rally up the rail under Corey Lowery. And got the win. An and then they try the hope and it didn't go so good. Now, he subsequently ran kind of went down the ladder a little bit too lifted stakes to optional sixty, two, five to forty thousand and he was literally beat seventy links. Last time he was eased, but he takes money each time. And so he gets claimed by grant forster. Pirates, punch fame and we love. Coronary, gets back on board which I thought was interesting just because he was on for that insane up the rail win. And Harvey Wall Banger six to one in this spot at Keeneland I felt low cure. Your horses run a second keeneland from three starts but nothing. Nothing incredible, and then in the six race turf allowance pass the plate is the two one favourite in here for Paul McGee who was a horse I thought was going to be like a really legit. And by the way, he's he's a fine horse he's made one, hundred, sixty, thousand and. Run some good racist but you know after his allowance winner. Churchill. In his third start I remember thinking man this this horses the goods and they tried him in stakes company on the dirt against finite and I think I think that was the race pretty shitty ran forth. and Sh- she ran okay she was sixth but only beaten four and a half lengths it wasn't After a bad start, it wasn't terrible. They go back to the grass in a series of listed stakes and she runs a second third. Try The regret graded event. She loses to Harvey's of a goal by to who we know what Harvey Little Oil did in the Queen Queen Elizabeth. Indiana grand over yielding course, and she didn't run a step so. I'm really curious to see if she can kind of rebound I mean her last work was very, very fast thirty five and change for three furlongs and so you know maybe they are they intent on. 'cause she's she dropped so far back I just I'm curious what that last little blowout if they're maybe hoping for a little more speed, Peru is thought of as an off the pace typewriter I think. But boy, he's having a cold Keelan to one for forty four. Jelena's with six seconds and nine thirds but that is A. Chilly for July seems like an also in that race Paula Lobo has seadream Joe Talamo and Paulo have been having a very good meat of course with our in the big. Event but. It seems like I've seen Powell's horses I know yet another one that went on over the weekend and they seem to be a teaming up furry some good racist right now. So curious to see if that one can do something good here on our our Wednesday at keeneland. So let's take a short time out. We come back. You're going to join us in. We will do that right after this commercial break. It is a Wednesday edition of the Jason Beam, horse racing podcast brought to you by twin.

But you know I will say that I would have won I not necessarily would have won but I was I was alive in a double from Harvey Little Oil to save the last for about five thousand that horse obviously ran very poorly I was never betting the showers first time starter I just made a token betting that wreath anyway but yeah, finished eighth got the second BBC per second NHCD spot which this. Is My seventh time qualifying so and then it'll be my I believe fourth with two entries fourth or fifth fourteen, fifteen, seventeen, eighteen, twenty fifth. So not that it's ever helped before I guess the one year I did cash I did have two entries. So we'll be a completely different feel for the contest, but it's fun to be back and I'm GONNA play the BBC anyway so it'll be I'm I'm looking forward to it already. Outstanding well, done, and of course It'll be an unusual experience to spend you know spend travers week in Vegas. That's That's going to be a crazy part of this whole equation when it comes to this year's NASA, Nick Tammaro everybody and Tam T. a. m. one, two, one, five we'll talk next week. We'll stay right here. We've got not enough time to do what I need to do but we'll spend a few minutes with hammer and then Paul snes's is GonNa. Join. US, the barn loves him. Hammer good morning. Good Morning Sunny and Windy California and warm which is not a good combination this time here but We need to win to blow some of this stuff out of here. But not the not the we're not a good Combo for You know for air fire are e you know what? I'm talking about. Anyway it's all good. You know I've real quick I didn't delegated to the Garage Office 'cause we're doing some work in a catch and I was looking at this I've got on my wall here, and in here I have the programs of of the one, thousand, nine, hundred, seventy, eight, triple crown with our work. I'm not just another up and I never look at him and it was looking at the person's for the three races in one thousand, nine, hundred, seventy, eight, the Belmont was a hundred and fifty added the preakness was a hundred and fifty added in the Derby won twenty, five at it. Pretty mild right yeah. Derby was the last of all of them but Anyway Just first time I I. I'm actually stared at him and notice that. So anyway, good to be back talking to you. And We Wanted I. Know You I, know you've I know you've talked about Berry all week. A He's kind of full circle as as as I had mentioned your texted you during our segment last week I had to call me after the. "Big Feature the Alabama stakes in Swiss skydiver the heavy prohibitive favourite. In this spot, you know a little bit of a group of new shooters facing her and one of the things I was actually listening to the broadcast on Fox that's kind of been my. I don't have a formal TV. and. So I always watch online. So it's rare that I actually get to watch the network TV stuff but Fox radio especially throughout the pandemic and we. Sports have been a little bit on the light side. You know they will play the audio of the entire broadcast, and so it's been great that I've been able to on many occasions whether it's driving a colonial on a Sunday afternoon or what have you to listen into their broadcast and. I know people have strong opinions on TV g you're on the Fox broadcasts for one reason or another, but it's for me. It's just it's nice to have horse racing broadcasts, and of course, there's some stuff that said that he shake your head up but there's there's there's stuff that's pretty good too. So the Alabama stakes, they were talking a lot what I was getting at with this point was Thomas. About kind of how much she's had to ship and all the traveling and it was funny because as I was as they were saying that it was like, wow, I've driven ten thousand miles just in the last month and a half driving around horse tracks. Maybe. I'm the Swiss skydiver of an but. A case you did an interview with Peter Callahan the owner who just seemed like the sweetest guy like he kind of sailing. Oh I I get a good one every ten years and she's just been. So you know he seemed very just like a real good person humble guy. And the horses kind of humble background right I mean I know she's bred by Winstar but I mean they paid thirty, five, thousand it's nothing crazy and. You know one on debut and has subsequently now gone onto run four really really good races in a row including her feet art collector. You know she was right with him there until the. Sixteenth of a mile or so and you know she's just a real gutsy racehorse and. The topic they were kind of bringing up. We'll all this travel kind of start to catch up with her and Kenny really thought no, and you know the Klu he's using. is how much she would eat up from the feed tub at the you know even after all the travel or the races or whatever. You know he said that you kind of look for those outer cues Amos kind of counter that I thought with an interesting point. He said, you know a lot of times. These horses, they won't show you. Feed Tub or in the morning or whatever that the travel and everything's taken out he goes they'll show you in the afternoon and so I was like Oh. Wow. Interesting point by top. But does with skydiver bet down to too heavy favouritism here I can't see my mouse. There we go. Ends up going off at just over even money actually. Goes off at almost sixty five dollars fifteen to one. Second Choice Spices Nice. The lightly raced todd pletcher horses three to one. You had five to one on Harvey's little oil every two six to one at crystal ball the baffert predicted speed I think at. Seven to one of those kind of like part of me thought that. You don't crystal balls last race. The CCA. OAKS. was. I thought one of the weaker grade ones. We're going to see this year but that said like she's still pretty lightly raced right? I mean this was only your fourth career start and. You know to me. In the back of my mind and this kind of goes to what we talked about with Scott Shapiro, the other day uncle chuck like I kept saying, what would his odds have been if it was somebody else training? Well, what would you know? Crystal balls odds have been if it was somebody else training because part of me in the back of my head, even though she's seven to one is thinking. She's going to go to the front and she's going to set hard for actions. She's going to do the BAFFERT thing and open up and everybody's going off course baffert. So I wonder how many players like we're betting her with that in their mind but was, let's take a listen back to Johnny. BRIELLE's call of the Alabama from Saturday at Saratoga. In the grade one Alabama and Swiss skydiver came away well, it going out for the early lead along with Crystal Ball Crystal Ball in front by three quarters of a Swiss skydiver on the outside runs in second big long shot fire coral is next in third. Then down on the inside is on Tante right alongside is spice is nice as the field goes into the clubhouse turn and the leader is a crystal ball here in front by a little more than a length over the betting favourite here and that. Is Swiss skydiver in second odd. Rutan runs in thirds, vices, inbetween horses, Fire Carl moving up spot on the outside from feth. Then it's gray harvey's little girl who's insects and trailing the field is Bonnie south in seventh quarter winning twenty three and two fifth seconds as they head up the Saratoga. backstretch crystal ball leads here by a half length. Swiss. Skydiver right there on the outside and second length and a half on Rutan is down at the round racing and third then spices nice and fire coral heads apart. And we come back to Bonnie South and the trailer is Harvey Little Oil. Half, mile and forty seven and four fifth seconds. Crystal Ball continues to lead here as they approach the far turn Swiss skydiver on the outside crystal ball leading here by ahead Swiss skydiver now ride alongside three-quarters went in one twelve and one Swiss skydiver. Now, making her move on the outside Harvey's little girl is making her move. Now here comes the gray harvey's little girl Swiss. Skydiver is the leader in front two and a half lengths. Harvey's little girl moves into the second. As Crystal Ball drops back at the rail. Then it is on Rutan Lamar went in one, thirty, six four and they're in the stretch and it is Swiss Skydiver Reggie's opened up on the failed here Swiss skydiver in front by a half dozen lengths that always little girl Bonnie South and on vote-on and Swiss skydiver is sailing home here in the one hundred and fortieth running of the Alabama Bonnie south came on for second Harvey's little goal was third the mile and a quarter in two minutes three seconds I honestly was kind of expecting Swiss skydiver to. regress a little bit this to me look seemed like the. You know as all the travel stuff but also you know it just seemed like maybe the logical spot for some aggression and man I couldn't have been more wrong. Just completely on cruise control the entire way let crystal broke perfectly and kind of right out even for lead. Let Crystal Ball go on a little bit. and. Crystal Ball, if you watch going down the backstretch like she's kind of getting nudged along for a pretty good majority of that trip and you know usually the Bob Baffert way is you know that they're going fast but doing it well within themselves not the case for crystal ball who.

"A little bumper intro for it. It's a slow racing day therefore time to go back in the old time traveler to a race. I love okay. I guess I went with race. I love singly. So we're calling it race I love but essentially it's going to be a little bit of a longer review of a race that I loved and a little bit of a story mixed in with it could be because it was one that I was at it could be because it was one that I You know invested in and won or lost or something. That meant a lot to me personally. I'M GONNA try normally pick raises. I think are maybe a little bell more well known but then I thought everybody kind of knows about the big ones. So maybe I'll stick with some of the smaller ones and so today I'm GonNa stay close to my heart. Both emotionally and geographically. And we're going to talk about the two thousand five long acres mile which have talked about on the show a few times but I pulled some audio of clips involving leading up to with interviews of connections that were a part of the win and I think it will hopefully be a fun like ten or fifteen minutes story about a race and you know how sometimes our races are bookmarks of our Our lives and times in our lives. And so that's why hope you could listen to it and go. Well that SUC. Jason never do that again but I hope that you enjoy it. I'm excited for it It's fun it was fun to do something a little different and then tomorrow as I mentioned we're GonNa have Alan Dickinson in for horse player Thursday. And we're GONNA do some some gambling stories. Betting Stories Dinka longtime professional gambler but a professional gambler for decades Down in Las Vegas and we'll talk with the dig tomorrow and then Friday will be our jury slash emphasis on the slash roundtable because the jurors are going to join me one on one to talk about the big races. That are coming up at oaklawn. We're GONNA talk here in just a minute about the fantasy stakes. Which is Friday Oakland's penultimate day? Maybe this is just penultimate week. So we'll talk about The fantasy in a bit but Friday will talk about the oaklawn handicap with Ed. The First Arkansas Derby was Scott and the second with James. That is the. That's the Friday plane and then I will do a Arkansas Derby full card preview. I started looking at it yesterday. It's a beast there so many horses on this card I. It's like sixty pages of past performances. It's it's going to be a big big fun day on Saturday. I'm looking forward to spending all of it on my couch watching racing from Oakland as well as Gulfstream and Tampa the couple of new things. There wasn't announcement to shoot or shoot with scratched out of the The leg one of the Arkansas Derby that race down to now a field of ten and I think charlatans main potential pace You know pace Fo dropped out. Does that make Charlotte and even more unbeatable horse in some folks is I think It will reflect in the odds. Maybe a little bit more so we will continue to watch news as as we go throughout the week really loved having Matt Hegarty on yesterday. Got A lot of feedback about that interview and Glad that folks enjoy that. Sit Down and conversation with him. I was my goal to have it. Just be a fun conversation that y'all get to be a part of because of the wonderfulness of the oaklawn handicap and you know some good horses going in the Arkansas. Derbys the fantasy. I hope it doesn't get overlooked because just a tremendous race which I think is kind of expected this point kind of like we got with the Arkansas Derby. Like there's just going to be some you know some bigger fields with these oaklawn raises. Because they're kind of the only sure thing coming up for a little bit a grade three race but completely a grade one in terms of talent all meeting up in April of their three year old. Filly season Venetian harbour. The morning. Line is out as I'm speaking about it. It probably comes out later today. But the Venetian Harbour. I would guess is your favorite I can't imagine that she would not be a British idiom. Although is kind of the name horse I feel like that defeat last time and really the fact that she's never run as fast as Venetian harbor has on a couple of Cajun's I think he's going to prevent her from taking money. I do think she's play against again. you know finite came back to not run all that great. Obviously they both beat squished. Skydiver who did come back to run better but Swiss skydiver ran a completely different race than she'd ever run and she was left all alone up front. Paco just made a brilliant ride that day and she kind of stole that Gulfstream Park Oaks. But to me it wasn't like it was a you know. Hey she was really good. She got beat by two horses and then she came back and beat the. I thought it was a tactical thing more than a talent thing and I would guess with Venetian harbor right next to her. Swiss skydiver is not going to get that same upfront trip. Venetian harbour. I mean certainly the the question is is if she gets pushed and also you know just. The class level is is an increase. Even though she's going from grade to grade three the last virgin this was not stellar group. But you know looking at my optics plot like Venetian harbour is a long gone front running big square which is generally the horses that win the most often given the circumstances. And you know like I said for her she's been just stellar so far for Richard Baltics. And you know both this obviously has not been starting a ton of horses with Santa Anita closed. And what have you? But they had this horse over to Oakland now for a couple of weeks She worked over it for the first time on April the seventeenth so has had a little time to get acclimated. Floppy and Pratt is making the journey over there and scheduled to ride and I think she's going to be a very very strong favourite but if she doesn't you know she doesn't travel well if she doesn't take the extra sixteenth which you know. I mean after her last race at a mile hard thing that she won't but again you know you look at a big race like this and you're kinda trying to poke a hole in the favourite right. We always talk about that. Let's let's let's at least try. Let's at least see what we can do. And if you can't okay you pass the race or your maker. You're single and you try to get a price somewhere else but okay. Let's let's let's look around. See what else is presented to us. Because there's a lot of talented runners in here. Lake Avenue drew post for for Johnny via Bill. Motte and she's now had two straight races that she didn't run all that great and I think a lot of people were very perplexed by her race last time the fact that she was so far off of a slow pace after. She's kind of a front runner for her most of her career including her. Two huge wins. her maiden breaker and then the Dam Wass L. So you know she reverse tactics and did she go up to apply pressure to Venetian harbour. Does she get to lead all by herself. I don't I don't know that that will happen. Me Venetian harbour was laying down twenty two flat now. Santa Nina which is usually faster intersect career. Start and she's drawn inside. I mean we saw with Ali's candy like how pivotal that inside position can be at any track but in oaklawn going into the first turn all his candy was Kinda parallel with Sarah Giddy hampers. Maybe a little bit behind even then who is at other horse cookie dough. Yeah cookie dough like she was like looked at least like a necker soap behind them before they went into that. Turn and then that turn is the great equalizer if you have inside position because you're saving the ground and so many should harbor obviously has that inside advantage over. Swiss skydiver can't imagine one's going to get inside of the other. You know Vice Versa. In an eighth of a mile because it's a pretty short run to that I turn once they hit the wire and they're starting this race the sixteenth pole so to me Lake Sorry I met. I met Lake Avenue but I guess it applies to Swiss skydivers. Well they're both just right to the outside of Venetian harbour and maybe like avenue. Just secures a good starting spot. Maybe she just stays right on the hip of Venetian harbour. And kinda give. That wants him token pressure. And I've I've said it many times like when you get a horse whose short price favourite. Who's been very good at beaten? Horses by random off their feet like I love when a horse goes and just goes for broke at the three eighths pole. See what happens. I mean you might get turned away. You might get swallowed up by somebody else late. But I've seen a lot of races. Wear an ambitious writer at the three eighths pole really puts the screws to the big favorite and is able to out kick that horse because that the lot of times those favorites haven't had to look anybody in the eye. And so maybe that's an approach Lake Avenue it takes. Harvey's little oil to me. Maybe the most interesting runner outside of eastern harbour. She's still very lightly race. She won the Zonda last time out of the short price. But was you know had to kind of close into very very light fractions and and accelerated away from him very impressively just a fantastic effort and I thought one that has upside certainly though might be one. That has a little bit of a wise Guy Stench. I can see a lot of people getting interested. Harvey Little Oil and maybe rightly so but You know it will be interesting to see kind of how she responds. Seems like there is a lot of New Yorkers showing up in this and obviously they wouldn't be if they were racing in New York array handle sends over Kansas Kiss who took awhile to break the maiden and his just a maiden winner but just got beat in the Bush. Your last time out At a at a pretty long price and you know I mean. They're they're taking a shot. She bears the devil winner in the Honeybee. Last time I thought a pretty solid effort and the connections have been pretty high on She dares the devil after they got beat by Bonnie Scott at oaklawn earlier. This meat ringleader. I think probably potentially the other main pace rival From a class perspective. Seems a little bit outmatched? Here was beaten pretty soundly in the Honeybee. She was with in midstretch and then really really folded last little bit. They brought her back in that Purple Mountain stakes which was the sprint. And we're Kamara one and it just did not go well so going back to a distance of ground Just think probably not the best chance in this race Talamo on board. And obviously he's been having a nice nice run there at oaklawn. Park but British idiom draws out and Post Tan. And again. She hasn't done a whole lot wrong but I thought that last effort was certainly a dad and I know that horses can move forward. Obviously in that second. Start off the layoff but to me. I just think she's a perfect recipe of a horse. That was pretty darn good as a two year old and now everybody caught up and now she's just kind of average and she's GonNa be bet more than she should be because of who she is her name She's the kind of horse that I am so happy to let let beat me in a race like this if she does you tip the cap you say. Hey Great Job British idiom Everybody else enjoy your three to one You know I'm going somewhere else but I I just I want horses. They're kind of a little bit more on the upswing right now I want horses. Who are coming out of troubled trips or stuff like that. I mean I I guess she was. You know she had a little. Bit of a traffic was wide and a little bit of a traffic issue but to me she just didn't pick up her feet all that much Against a horse who came back. Run all that great and so That's all I need to mix it with. Probably an underrated price did not be a British idiom. Fan File Fire. Choral this is the kind of horse that a lot of times. I think it's overlooked a lot of times. I will glob onto the kind that have you know. They're they're running. Good connections are taken a shot lightly raise chance for improvement. I feel like the more times that I like these kind of horses. The less I see him ever run good but I still can't help but think you know if this was a decent price you know it's asked. Listen I know that Ricardo is not writing this one which says a little something. I guess You know he's going to Where did he go? He's going to the outside to altus award Who was second in the Honeybee and so you know that's probably not the best sign for fire corals chance but I'm sure.

"I really got go talk, talk all about using the corner speech to the best advantage academy and at the moment will how his fine, fine job. He's up towards turn three more traffic fall into the Goce. That's hope they trip up over at Harvey little bit more cautious than will have a traffic they slice is not done yet. This race could be decided on traffic. How many times we see now already, Jamie king Gomez gets traffic asked, but we. Whiteley ever need that as Jamie king holds onto third, but I just hold onto control as they come through. Now let's turn in nine. Show us awards. Turn this race. Just settling in the traffic is going to cause problems. Well, how is he going to be able to get through one, two, three, four. So four bikes will out as well as Harvey. Claret Sean, do the exact same Harvey coach to been held a little bit, but will will have the same problem. We've got another one got pasta, another one, so this traffic absolutely as influencing this, right? So we'll our leading quite to someone pulled off on the turn three counts, but we'll hours thanks to the traffic over a bigger gap overhaul. Still safe and sound for Jamie king as still Eliot Brown has moved. Into fifth. Brad right now, seven. He's in a battle with Calamar behind him. Israel's darling, Jason Pugh and in Jackson is the top ten, but this rice with four laps to go soon to be three laps to go into the leaders, commerce ally. Now will house lead it last lap around fifty three point eight and suffer. Claridge fifty four. So the traffic obviously slowing down as about half a second slower for will house than his personal life Carvey about the second slower, his personal best lap. So interesting. The dynamic traffic has on the leading Reuters. Jamie king fifty, four, five. He was slow at the only person who laps quick Cala more fifth-place fifty four point nine to ten khloe Don Elliott Duffin out some circuit because we just wait for Harvey clarity to get traffic. Harvey actually benefits. Death from the traffic. Harvey coverage is back in contention of this race that come into the lost couple of corners. Now will house makes the PECS beautifully recovered drift to the circuit two laps to go pronouncement laptop then. And Harvey Claridge is Saturday starts giving up on this wing just yet still a little bit time to go wars point, four second quicker that loss around, he still hasn't got time. If you can be able to point seven of a second as the third behind them third-place Jamie king, he is a safe place, six seconds behind the leaders. They are at turn seven and eight. So just turn eight now and a flipped rights to go through nine along the back straight coming down complex. This crucial. Final complex, of course all around game speed here there is traffic. So this traffic, this stage of the race could be crucial. We'll have his very, very tentative. We'll house run Sperry very ward that keeps charts law slap on an will house. Got it all coming up on shore, Whitsett Cup. So they've got both of them have positive and not should be now a clear on right to the end. So no more traffic, it's straighttalk between wheelhouse. Harvey clerics, Jamie king is a safe, Doug, we expect to be enforced fifties. The leaders are upturned six now will house just found at the moment. I'd say it's going for gap. Depends on much Harvey coverage wants to win this race on the road.
