"Come on. Come on, Colin. Come on, let's go, you know you want to. Oh, Jerry me, just a 28 runners. You know, why not ten? When it is 28 runs, by the way, I want to, but so yeah, for sure, and hours, and for the try cast, star of O'Reilly. Let's take down the trifecta, shall we? So kaluki, I think are going 6, I believe. Don't hold me to that, but I think it's 6 places, which it seems very, very fair to me. And 12 to one about artists, I don't think that's going to be available on the day. And after the strong words from polygon can't imagine that the 16s about the tarpon Azure is going to last too long either. Remember that Matt's wording on this was will be that's much too big. Much too big. We have not forgotten you, jumps fans. We have not forgotten you. You might be wondering, where is the ponchos down review? You might even be saying, where is the review of the jumps season? What the hell is going on at final forland podcast terrorists? I had an asthma attack. That's what's going on in the final form of podcast hours. And could barely speak, which is probably music to some people's ears. But don't worry, it's coming. And it will be in the company of Dennis Oregon. So for a little treat, the pretenders network swinton and the capital will be live on ITV four, hopefully on virgin media as well. And this will be a 3 o'clock. So jumping fans, John McConnell, very underrated, highly talented trainer, has got Anna burna, who won an air last time out beating west cork. Both of these horses are 5 to one and a breena as a mark of one three 5 carrying 11 stone one with Mark McDonough claiming 5 Harry skelton on west cork on Michael one four four off 11 stone ten, then lateral lad for Philip Hobbs and Thomas Brian, which I think is a very interesting run for Phillips. Great to see him have a punch down winner. 7 Cormier, becoming a bit of an old favorite, Jonathan Burke on board. Johnny brook friends at the final front of the podcast, Brian Ellison, and milkwood for Neil mulholland and Sam Tristan Davis. There's a few old favorites in here. Including Donald McCain's see the sea who has been one of the horses who contributed to a season of all seasons. For Donald McCain, I had to get that in at some point. And we can't mention a hurdle race without saying, our main man, David pipe, shout out to James and the team at the pipe yard. Bashful boy is 16 to one with kaluki. Right, briefly for the jumps fans. What do you think, my friend? I love this race. Back in the day, I used to see this race as the last big race of the jump season where an actual fact, it's the possibly the first big jump big race of the jump season because obviously the season finished on the. Whip bread. My age now. No, I still called the wood bread. I like the old names. I still called the wood bread. So in actual fact, this is probably the first big race of the season, isn't it? The sweat. And it's always a good race. It's what you're saying is we should do a cheltenham preview right now. Any of these horses got a chance in the county hurdle next year. But there's a couple of investment facts to take on board. You said bravely, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I find it really hard to be brief. Let's go. Let's go. I'm happy. Let's go. What I might do, I might do a Twitter poll where how people feel about mixed code meetings. So we've got flat race and jump racing on this car that hate or haven't we. I wonder, is that a potential thing going forward? Could we have more flat race and jump race meetings? Mixed? It works at Galway. Forgive me, Sinéad, Sinéad works is one of the main people at Galway. I know that during COVID, they changed it so that it was, instead of having mixed cards on the same day, they switched it to being an awful lot card one day than being an all jump card the next day. But now that the restrictions are lifted, I wonder do they revert back to mixing it up? And I suspect they will that how do you feel about it? If you went to a day's race and well anywhere, how would you feel about having four flat races and three jump races or I think possibly the jockeys might be a bit miffed because you're only possibly going there for three rides but from a spectator's point of view would it interest you? Yeah, because I absolutely love the Galway first of all. Now that might be something that's unique to Galway and the atmosphere that is just in the whole city for that entire week. It's electric and it's, I know that my tombs is coming over to Galway this year. With some friends and we've been talking about potential show there must chat you with that as well..

"So we've got Mac fabulous, fusel ruffles, scaramanga, and indefatigable well named sources. As in, well known horses, but betting in the dark, what's your take? I think my father should win this. He didn't run badly at the entry last time, I was with chief pieces on for the first time. And I think he's been waiting for this kind of opportunity. He's not quite a grid one horse over hurdles. Potentially, as I said, last season. Absolutely smashing chess during the making, but he had a setback earlier in the season and Paul Nichols decided to keep over hurdles. This year, and he's not had an ideal campaign. He ran up all of himself on his reappearance on bride that was too soft from the real keel. And then he was probably a sick horse when he ran next time. Bounce back to form to run respectively. Behind epitomes and the entry hurdle, but he's not quite up to that level, but this is a lot easier for you. I even conceding weird to his rivals. A few rounds of the chess of these days doesn't appeal on quick grind going back over. Over hurdles, scaramanga, we haven't seen him since running in the Cesaro, which and I'm not sure, again, his last run was in the handicap hurdle. At this meeting last year, when he won a mark of one four four, he'd have half a chance of that, but his absence is definitely worth and writes them. And you can decide that that's a pointer, but I just think that lorcan Williams was on board with McLaughlin's last MI that makes a bit of sense to allow him to me and Tim that partnership. It decided a little bit of a big chance on our best form. She's not been at her best this season. Not since a very good second, and I had the capital at Shelton in December. And she took a pretty nasty fall in the mayor's hurdle. Last month, I just wondered whether that will, that will impinge on her enthusiasm, which looked to be winning a newbery. In November, she ran very well to win the to win the west Yorkshire hurdle on her reappearance, which given a good ride by Donald J staying wide on the battlegrounds. Using her tactical speed rather than rather than her stamina to win that female contest, she didn't really want to start at newbury next time. And that was the first sign that she was maybe thinking twice about the racing game. It should look very tough and genuine before them, but she didn't really want to set off. She was about to form a cheltenham, as I said, when Lucy waldens mayor, I just got the better offer and a tight finish. But again, she didn't want her wrist when she was favorite at Warwick for that mayor's contest. The Warwick mayor's hurdle. I thought she looked a little bit reluctant to exhaust herself for all that it turned out to be good for him because the marriage would do whatever he wanted. And you can kind of look through that again all that's better for him than it looks at the time. But I don't think so she put up not much of a fight there and of course we don't know what she would have done in the marital itself because it was just beginning to take shape when she found heavy fall at the top of the hill. So she's been a real fan of a real fun one. It's been a real overhead over the years. It'll be the final point. Every morning. That's what I first. I've been a fan of hers, but I'm just I'm a little concerned about a couple of things I've seen this season since she won on a return and I'm against her for that. I've been, I've been vaguely promising to be able to look at the start of this season, but he hasn't had his conditions and 90 doors under the faster. The front of the ground, the better for him. He needs to be giving width lesser horses rather than running against grade one horses over hurdles. He gets that set up here, and I think you should win. Okay. Should win, love that. So our final race is the four 40. It's the Josh Gifford novices handicapped chase present in counting for Brian Hughes and Donald McCain, Harry skelton and Dan skeleton. We've got beach town, a flick of oil, for Paul Nichols and Harry cobden and Jack Maher for the back Milton Harris after a tremendous season as well in Fargo Bryan had a great season to brief ambition done again. We'll look back in the season with great fondness imagine and can he go out with a winner or is there something else in here that you're looking at a 153 winners is we're currently recording for Donald McCain. This present and counting going to add to that or is there something else here that takes a 153 winners and only one of them in a grid event? Bonkers isn't it? Yeah bonkers. They won the old car and I was a chess. I'd hate up in February and was a pretty moderate contest. That was with Manila. Vanilla times. Hello. Vanilla drama. Spend all the time. Because I would have both thought about that, but maybe not. Maybe not another times this season. Vanilla drama wanted, yes. President Klein is an interesting one here. Again, the faster the grind, the better for him. DOM came a song about him being potentially his only runner at the chart on the vessel, but he didn't go in the end. And it was the grime of soft enough for him when he fell in the race one by big time they are the last time. He's two points lower, which is an interesting..

"He's on ratings. He doesn't have the easiest of tasks. He does have to improve to beat these. But he is progressive. He was very impressive when winning at weather be honest, but ultimate start. And then he was rather unlucky to fall. He was effectively brought down in the manifesto at entry in which he was very well backed. He went off at 11 to four for that race and again, this is slightly more hard overhead. I'd love it if a combination that Nick Kent, Johnny Hammond, but when a big race, it was in the final day of the jump season. Because we're talking about how the game is dominated by a few big trainers and big owners. And for someone in Nick cantu, who has only a handful of horses to be competing in agreed one queer two company with a horse like our own referees, but a lot of talent. And could make a big splash next season, would be great. So I think I probably, depending on the best thing I'd probably make our own river, my bet on the race, but it's a race full of this but I wouldn't want to be spending too much money on it. Yeah. It was awesome. I really fancied at entry and it's just been 16 days for some of the race comes around. So I am of the opinion. We'll just stick with urn river, then. I know it's a different race, but it makes sense to me. He is 5s. And fully agree with you for all the reasons I mentioned, but the negativities are surrounding the short press favorites. Oh look, it's a Paul Nichols shortbread favorite. This time in the battery 6 5 celebration chase grade one. So kaluki sportsbook are currently going 6 to four about green tea for Paul Nichols and Harry covered in the last time we saw him. He was awful at leopard stone when Nichols was going through that spell. Dan skelton and Harry skelton have new bed negra, 13 to 8. So royal Allen king and Darrell Jacob 130 and rush with oh look, it's another one of these Kate and algebra sources that's gonna be moved to Harry Darren over the summer in a hilarious we just moved our horses around since I have no idea. It would just be funny if that was to happen. Best of luck Tyrion is an adventure and we'll talk to him about it soon. First time window for him, he's 20s sky part in here as well. It was quietly fancied by many children, but has had to take an entry in the meantime as well and has been beaten 44 and 18 lengths 20s for him would first have cheap pieces. Rory, who wins it? Well, I'd expect a greener team to bind back from that per run at the time when the nickel sauce was all running poorly any spaces that day. Growing softly wanted it to be called an accelerator already flown the horses over slot at no point pulling them out. Both of his runners are meeting me disappointed when Randy inside. Which was a massive disadvantage. And the horse she won this race last year comes to a fresh and I haven't been given a break since February. Although that wasn't the original plan, the plan I think was to go to Sheldon with him and he hadn't recovered at that stage. It was a slight question mark was granting about whether you want to take a short price about him given he's clearly had a problem. Since his last run or because of his last run and has taken him time to come right, you'd hope that he'd be right now and he's just a bit the right fear of the risk given he's won two ones over the course of distance. And that clearly makes him want to beat the only issue with his wins. You can't put holes in them to a degree and be out here last season, obviously. But the great Washington retired straight after that and when he won the tingle creek, I'm not sure that anything else give it's running on the race. You know, they're on an update, but they're not up to a pretty moderate horse at this sort of level. The two best watches are not for various reasons, including Negro who was only forced that day and we haven't seen him since, but he's got a record going well fresh. And he was very impressive first they might have Shelton. Again, you can knock all the form of the schlieren chase that he won. Given that those he was up against how many exactly cover themselves and glory since looked as strongly as on paper, but he was beating the veteran political log in the second. Could the cat lord hasn't been herself at school this season? And she was favored for that race and rouge. It was quite well fancy for that was last. And as badly to prove nice. So maybe Newbie negra's standby run isn't as good as it looks, but it's formed last season is very good. It was arguably unlucky not to win the championship chess. I can't imagine you could probably make about four runners in that contest, including the re opposing saw royal. He wasn't beaten far and last year's championship despite the fact that he was almost brought down coming down the hill when trying to come with an idiotic run on the inner really. He's had plenty of racing this season and my worry was so raw. He's got his grind. But he's been all the rest this season. He's like, well, she's never really taken his grace in particular. Well, he wants two runs when he's fresh. They want to break, and then he wants to have another two runs in the spring. And he's already had some 6 runs this season saw royal and I think he was showing signs that he was feeling the effect of a hard enough season. I was put onto a start at newbury, then again, I don't really understand him going to injury for a race over a trip he doesn't stay. I know it didn't look particularly strong with the mailing. And we finally started by training for team to go for that. But if you want to define a race for so well, this was the ideal one. The faster the grind the better for him. And I think if they've missed the entry and come here at a fast, it was chances, but I think there's a very strong chance that you'd be flat after entry given what is his overall form looks like. That's the same scenario overheard as well as first tribute to the hurdles this season and wasn't discredited in the fighting 5th and then king he went for a went from a fourth run in the international runners thinker there. And he was kicking himself or given the most too much to do, but of course he's now having his third run again after a brick and that rather puts me off. I think Newbie Negro is probably the safest safest bet here. He's a horseshoes. Sean foreman saw Brian, but he's always looked like a horse would be very, very happy on the quick surface. And he does look like he's been laid out for this downscale was not tempted to run him over a trip. He doesn't stay at entry. Was never attempted to run him in the championships and he comes here. Strictly speaking, you're the best of these on time. I'm reading if you believe that the form of the slower chairs, but even if you don't, his win in the desert Orchard last season the second of the championships given the same chances as grenadine on paper and given the Greenwich hasn't had the ideal prep for this. I think nougat negra is a safer bet of the power. By default, it comes down to new vinegar and to be completely honest. It's very, very difficult to argue with that. It's not like I can poke holes in the logic that you're using, interesting that the Irish horses that were interested didn't make the journey over. The three 32 is the all right, give us its original title, please. Well, the whitbread gold cup. The whitbread gold cup won by some of the roads. That's the name of a sponsor, a different sport, a bit better pulled out. Did they really be getting all the credit? Well, we're back in the back in their old days. All the greats would show up this year. Yes, but again, this is for race is worth 90,000. It suffers because of its proximity to the Irish man national the grand national. So in the Scottish grand national therapy. And the west wheels ground national. So it's nowhere near as classy a race as it once was. But we do have bizarrely have the one two from the Scottish grand national, which is which is pretty cool..

"However, I've never seen a horse win the gold cop like that. Quick and up like that and win 15 lens going away. I mean, at all it was phenomenal. He's obviously a phenomenal racehorse. But the way that Rachel was able to conserve his pace and keep close enough to endor, that she didn't have a mountain to climb. And went to brave when the brave route. I mean, she was only one or two off the rail the whole way. That's the brave Ruth. I mean, it's not like she got the run down the inner or she got her run down the outer, like she did in the champion horror where she went around the outside. I mean, she went to brave root. It was a very brave ride. And you know, I can really relate to that. And I thought it was a fantastic ride. The harsh really, really piqued in the go hope to share it. That is the best performance I have seen without harsh. Now, he's obviously improved with time, but you must remember, this house had enough pace to be track and persuade the grade one over two mile at 11. So he this horse has always wanted the goal called trip, but he has equally always wanted that kind of ride. And he needed to be ridden with lots of confidence and lots of patience over that trip to use his pace in the last two photos. And that I feel is that is the key to the horse. And if you look back at the saddles, maybe he wasn't right in the 7th lapis town, but again, made plenty of use of now over that three mile at labor town on softer ground, but all that good ground, the last Friday, he was able to use his pace off a very good ride. Now, a couple of the players tasked as I taught, I felt him behind I felt end up didn't see out his race. I felt he could have been caught for a second in another few strides, which is, you know, probably not he's true running. You know, and I felt Harry skelton on Sir Alex Ferguson's protector. He took the last fence with him and still managed to finish torrid. So he's obviously a very good he's obviously a quite a good horse as well. I wouldn't have said galvin was that disappointing. The ground, the ground was very good for him. I did say it to you guys on the morning. I can't get it out of my head that he's a top class handicapper. And I was proven right. Cardinalis, gardener is one of the best traders in the world. He did say a long time ago that he was trailing government for the grand Nash. And I believe that's what he's doing. And the goal of hope was grand. It was there. He was there to run in it, and we'd all love for P one of the owner or whatever, but really and truly he's a grand national horse. And Gavin wouldn't have that sort of speed that applied to our children the other day. And that was my take and on the race really. It was a funny risk tactically but it was evenly wrong. I mean, the likes of Brian Cooper going on was a Syrian for long was probably the only way you could ride him because he just wouldn't jump his fences at all in behind. And a raised Scottish horse ensured it was a test of stamina because he wouldn't have the past. So all in all, it was a very fair sort of a fairly rotten gold cop. And I thought the winner albeit on the best horse. Got a very, very good ride, a road with a lot of confidence. And a radio fell to that horse needed. And it proved a very, very deserving winner. I see you got a rent of a 178 Sam rate in the salon. I would say that's fair enough. He's on the edge. And you know, it wouldn't be surprised me if he starts winning a lot more and I'll maybe they might stay riding him like that, you know? And maybe just writing him a bit more conservative early on. And he was really, if you look back, and now he was some certainty and then I was handicapped wasn't he a few years ago. He certainly was. Off about one 26. He had only the only.

"Risk. It went. It was there, and it just disappeared. Throughout that is 7 for Dan and Harry skelton. And two trainers that we just will just skip them, shall we? And Tom simons has got Morocco de vasi with income and booked for the ride. I think shall we have one more is going to be very, very hard to be here. Yeah, I'm not sure I want to be piling in some of the price, but there's nothing else that hugely appeals. He's a horse who has got plenty of talent, he was too keen under restraints. At ask and sound diner and his first two starts this season, but still showed useful form. He was forced from the toll was, but he was held up off the pierce there. Rather fought Jamie Moore and didn't give his true running as a result, but was far from disgraced. They then decided maybe the best thing to do with this king going horse as with goshen, by the way, is let him do his own thing. And when you find that thing goes like potion, like shall we have one more have a tendency to be a lot less gassy once you allow them to stride on. So horses who are keen tend to be less so given their head. Some of them are more so, you know, and they could be frightening lunatics. But that's those are different kind of horses altogether. But yeah, Xiaomi have a more subtle really well. And that race is over a long way from them. It was hugely on competitive, it was under 49 that day, which gives you an idea of how weak it was for a Saturday, not as heard of the sound line. I think it was televised as well. It was. By 20 lengths, there wasn't much in the race to be perfectly honest. The only one is run since Arthur's seat has been at this pointing. So you kind of look at that run and go, well actually, he didn't achieve an awful lot more. In winning that easily, they had last time. But he gives the impression that he could have done a lot more. He was asked. I don't like punting horses on the basis that they give the impression they might have done better. Especially when you're getting really short on. But he was a, he was an easy winner as bumper here. Last season. So kempton said some really well. And he showed that the thing that was holding him back over hurdles was his tendency to pull hard. He showed that if he can go on, then he's less likely to pull his head. So it may well be that that's simply the answer. That he will go on again. But in terms of what is actually achieved, he doesn't do my best of these. So it's hard to back him at a really short price. And that makes it difficult. Is sale or ICO hi, everyone I call him, was a 17 length winner of a similarly modest hurdle here over course and distance at the Camden Christmas meeting. But the Nichols runner actually did that in a really good time. He put April time for Saturday earlier on. And then Brian frost a lie to him to stride on and when he was led Australia. He settled better on the ends up winning winning with penny despair. But it was disappointing in the triumphal trial at Chapman on his next start. This is a lot easier. He gets the four year olds get a handy we had alliance still this time of the year, which is a tends to be a big advantage for sort of February onwards. And if he buys his batch platform, he's got a decent chance. I get the impression that Nick was thinking he's fundamentally an embryonic Chester who needs to learn how to race. So he might, you know, this might be an educational run. But at the same time, you know, he's produced a performance on the figures that gives him the beating of shall we have one more, so it wouldn't be a massive surprise if he points back to that form. I wouldn't, I wouldn't want to back him at the price he should be based on the ratings. I think that's probably a little bit shaky, but at the same time I think at the early prices he's probably overpriced. Yeah, that's a surprisingly big price given that TPA is top rated by time, but he's written 9 point ahead of shall we have one more time for him to ratings. But obviously he didn't run to the same level last time either, but that was against pied piper. In what Denis Oregon. New member of the team, I'm very proud to say, described as a bizarre race that he doesn't really trust in terms of form and just in the way that the race was run. Yeah, certainly a fair number of those. They didn't seem to go. They didn't go very fast, but the horses who were on the front end all struggled. In the last few stages, I mean, the pace was set by a branch outsider. And you'd have thought that those sitting hands and they would have been well positioned, but they tended not to run the race. And the first and second came from way off the back. But point paper one of us was absolutely tons of his state. But anyway, that's ICO didn't run his race. He went up the inside. It wasn't the place to go anywhere on that occasion. And that was at the time when the nickel sources started running moderately. Yeah. I don't think it was massively concerned at the time. I did this with someone who said they heard that what the what the nickel's reaction after that was, which was just.

"All of that and lots more. And good luck to say what you want at the weekend or Monday, one of the other last race. Doncaster three 20, the sky bet handicap chase. Fusel raffles heads the bedding 7 to two with kaluki koki also go 5s about cap Nord for Christian Williams and Jack Tudor, we've got a bishi on a second start for Dan skelton and Harry skelton, 15 to two, midnight shadow for Sue Smith and Ryan mania tens and the machines for Kerry Lee and Kevin brogan is 11. I don't think it's a vintage renewal of the sky but break it down for a story. Yeah, it doesn't look good. It doesn't look a vintage renewal, but there's plenty of there's plenty of quality in it, at the same time. And you've got some and it'd be great to see the hamiltons get a big winner two weeks in a row after Thomas Oscar won the new one hurdle. I hate last week and they got nuts all out at the top of the wets, but he's vulnerable now at the edge of 11. Still rotates all his son all his enthusiasm, but he didn't have to be at his best. I didn't think to blow a microphone 5 7 October and he's been find out of higher marks since his job helicopter has at least given him a chance below his winning mark from this season. He's one 5 5 here. And dominant is a fine rider who the Hamilton has stood by and is there a number one choice when he's available for their horses. Midnight shadow of a corresponding party par whether he wants to three miles is for the band. I don't think he does similar story with fusil raffles. I don't think he wants three masks by the fact that he won the Chinese hall earlier in the season when he was essentially left a long way clear. He'd have been 30 minutes behind the winner, had everything stood up that day. And I have one of the trip. Quite a scratch, and you've got the lab rat trophy winner in here. It's more than ever really. He's never I've never really warmed to him. And I was annoyed when he won the when he won the big race at newbury as my partner in crime, desperately wanted to tip him up and I said, all my dead body that he won at 33. So Salehi. But he's a bit of a twice. He can look good on his day and indeed his second and the team you're last year as a paragraph piece of form. And his second of mine are that reads very well. But you know he's completely obsessed with 5 stars. And that's just a little bit off putting. It puts higher than a new probably doesn't necessarily stop him winning if he puts his best foot forward. But he's a little hard to predict for me. You've got it's hard to fancy the next trio janika wins revenue on some chaos on recent form. The machines get chances that there was a no risk really last time out. He lost Richard Patrick at the first fence that I'd love to just lost his feeling and landing. It wasn't really a mistake. Prior to that he'd run Iran pretty well, a little bit in the long way and then I broke the finish 5th. Beating 30 odd one of those horses was held up and the way he was read in the middle of very little chance of getting involved in the finish. His form last season gives him every chance. He'd be in my short list for this. Kevin Bruin, taking over claiming three. Robin obviously is a pretty, pretty much in demand as three Richard pantry news to machine really well. Yeah, last season's forum, I like, I like them in the lab versus trophy, but he didn't get the as I said in the run of things. You can't be held up at the back of the field in that Louis as history has shown you. But I think he's back here. And I think there's a similar sort of tactics will be a barge of success. So he's high on the short list. He'll succeed is one really good on the season came over the national fences and the beach, and that probably left a mark when I was a really tough race. I can leave him alone on good ground on the back of that. I don't think I've got to stay at this trip. He did win the Pedro Sullivan memorial, but I think his third try and not rest. You can give him a chance to handicap in charge, but I don't think he's a proper stare. He won last year hasn't really repeated the form skipping over him. Rocco popped up at 40s in the past early in the season and then pulled up next time and that was a tough full contest he was and it must be said, but his overall profile is not a strong one. Storm control was given a smashing ride by this clear Madonna collinsville to win last time. I don't know, but I thought that was I thought that was a really mature ride for any experienced writer. And I wouldn't really strong control that again. He's gone up. He's got to find penalty here, but he's still off the same handicap market as he started the season. They started favorite for a competitive handicap chase. First time at the season at cheltenham off this mark. So he's essentially ten points lower. And I thought we did it nicely in newbury. No, he's not necessarily going to get an easy lead here. They didn't get a too easy. A new briser, but he jumped better than his me and rival. That day, and he find plenty for pressure at the end of it. So he'd be shortlisted as well. I don't like her on sons in particularly. And finally on the shortness is DBC. For Dan skelton, this is only a second run for the yard. He's a horse. He's got my eye multiple times through his career and 11 year old now, but hasn't had much racing of lit. He's had breathing problems. He is, of course, a very well bred impact out of Dalai. You'll be familiar with that pedigree. No giant emmas. You mean Don Pauley's brother, who is currently based with Harry Fowler and Lauren a fellow? Of course I know who the illustrious brother is. And of course I know who this mirror is. Legend. I think hardly finder owns and partnership with Alex don't know. Alex frost, so you're suggesting. I think it might be. I think it's in punishment with Robert chug that I could be wrong there. Okay. Because the Austrian have ended up with Tim von. As often as not DBC was Tim F one until his final start last season when he had wind surgery made his debut for Dan skelton. And look the winner for a long way at santine. In that pre cheltenham meeting, but he did a bit too much in front. I familiar story. For his, for his rider, and get caught and beaten by Forrest Gump. I forgot to run a cracker. Last week, one was next race as the dentistry lad he was third also one next time out. The impression you've got was that riddle was a bit more restrictive would have won that race. That was on very soft grind, touching on heavy at sound down. Suddenly, it was certainly very heavy on the hurt and of course that day. And I DVC is one four times over jumps and three of those wins are coming good grant. He's got a bit of repetition of being a lot. But actually, three men's and good grand one win on staff suggest that actually he's going to be very much at home and the conditions are getting wind with surgery against some since he was last seen. And clearly he's a horse who's had his issues. But he's a horse who should be capable of winning good races or this kind of market. He's always had a lot of talent. And it's just been sort of thwarted through his career by one or two physical issues. I know, I'm pretty sure that Dan skelton knows that there aren't many pay days in DBC. He's 11 now. He's had as breathing problems. I think you have to get a ride first time. So this is driving me as being his fundamental target for the season. He's the kind of horse you can give me with throwing the grand national. If he wins the degrees first time, and then, you know, you're on a freebie. You know he's got the classes or cope with that to some degree..

"So I thought it was good racing a good performance from bringing up a storm and his connections. Gary Moore said after the race, he just doesn't go left handed, referring to ocean, does he? I think it might be more than that, quite frankly. Yeah, I think you should all go if anybody should do one thing's going to watch that interview with on ITV that JB Moore did after the race he was so frustrated. And I just think it just summarized his horse racing because it doesn't always go well. And he was speaking to match up and after the race. That was bad enough in itself. Jesus Christ. So yeah, go and watch it because it just brings you back down to earth really and just see how frustrated I would go in because he's got all the talent in the world, hasn't he? But yeah, just needs to get him right. And nobody saw how or what they can do so. It's frightening to think it's only two years ago that he was on the brink of winning the triumph. And just as that bizarre I mean, it was just it's an accident. That's all it is. It's just freak accident. It's not changed. No one's fault. It's just one of those bizarre things in racing that happened. And he hasn't been the same since. I'm just going to say yesterday, Jamie Moore was in that interview, Lucy mentioned that Jamie was obviously saying he took him all the strength to sort of getting around the bends in the race. And as Matt was saying, Jamie's like one of the strongest jockeys in the way, we put a lot of effort time and effort into his fitness and, you know, having that shows, doesn't it the power of the thoroughbred if they're a little bit quirky and you know they sort of turn up in the in the right frame of mind for their race, then there's only so much you can do about it as a jockey. But yeah, he's a marvelous person hate to get him to finish. He's been beaten, but the fact that he's actually brought him to finish that quotes at the line. That's it, yeah. He's only beaten the length in a quarter in the end. And he said, he thought yeah, when in to be fair and you know, like I said, it was very close, wasn't it? And but yeah, he absolutely zapped for energy. The energy point of view after riding him ran there. But he had a long rest after that. The equivalent furrows of being on a bucking Bronco I should imagine. And look, it is worth pointing out that a year ago he did beat song for someone by 22 lengths who had previously beaten him just on the last previous start. By 29 links. So he's capable of winning. It's just that it seems as though every single thing has to fall right. He has to be going right handed, possibly up and trip now. They're talking about two O four, but they've done that. They took him to ascot. And tried going up in trip. So he's gone up to two mile three and a half. That hasn't worked. So now he's talking further. So right handed and further up and trip. Where the hell is that? It's difficult you know, it's hard to know what to do with him really trying to convince him to put his best foot forward and apply himself with his that you should the races you should be winning with his ability. But yeah, it's a hard one. I mean, what do you do? Do you put the head gear on? Do you up him in trips? It's a conundrum, isn't it? Just trying to eke out that little bit more from him and get him to put it all in on the day and finally get connection surprises they deserve. But yeah, jory gives Gary Moore a few headaches. That's for certain. A 100%. I'd kill them again or kill them a second time. I'm really disappointed for them because Gary Moore is very likeable trainer. And Jamie Moore's very likeable jockey and you can understand how a horse can struggle in their 5 year old year. But when they come to 6th, then you like to think they'll have developed and they'll be able to compete. He did compete. He's gotten close to run up a storm, who's going to be a big player in the intro hurdle. So it's just a matter of getting him right, but he asks an awful lot of connections and the fans who have been following him since that triumphant do you read me? Oh, dear. Molly Ollie's wishes ends up being a very, very good winner. Riddle next to go and win the mayor's liquid to two 20 at asco just from my sister Sarah who was finishing like a train. She must have been 5 links down at the last Lucy. Yeah, she's good isn't she this, man. I mean, I saw the bee and I was really taken with her performance. And then slightly different disappointed last time out that it was she was racing against the boys and she had, you know, the horses that were in behind it that day were pretty tough opposition. So this time around back in the company, and she went off the fayette didn't see, but as you said, she was taken up wasn't she from by Harry skelton. Just coming into the home straight and she had all the running to make up. But I think with her long stride, I was always confident somehow she was going to get there..

"It's great that with those and that's what I did. It's like it's been a lot of talking about the English artists don't take each other on and this and that, but when it's got different owners and different horses and obviously they're not afraid to take each other on they all want to win the big races and obviously that's why the race in Ireland is probably that much better than it is over here really because you're getting to see these good horses take each other around and get to see these top class races instead of just saying two and so you run and races like you do see over here, but plus you're going to jump them non that you're probably got the best house in Ireland rather than England I haven't told each other and you don't know which one to bet on the other, you know? That's a good point. You also have a situation where we're not racing 7 days a week. And it's not just that. It's also the fact that it's not like three cards. On the one day. So the options are smaller. So we've better horses. With a smaller pool of races, therefore, they take each other on. Or else they head over to the UK and try and win over there. Which now hasn't worked for the last two weekends. What's going on? Wait, wait. Wait, tell them it comes around. We'll fix that. I'll be fixed. That's it. Time is on our side time is on our side. Protector app. If we go up in trip. So he wins at entering the unit many clouds chase. By 25 lengths, native river ended up being sent to our favorite. I kind of fancied him for the race. The race in the end completely falls apart. Some brown finishes third. Just talk me through your overall reaction to winning margin, but also how the race played out. Yeah. When you're watching the rest, you're always always drawn to bridge it under British skeleton, actually. He was so came and are down the inside, you know? And you're taking these all the rest and the whole way. But I don't think it went as quick as he probably could go, you know, I just thought he looked a bit labored whether he just lost that little bit at all. Probably one of the strongest form I don't think, but Sam Brown is probably more of a grand national horse than the gold copper. But he can not be anything but impressed by the way I protect that one. He traveled too well, he probably done too much, he pulled for three miles and still won 25 minutes. So obviously he's got every right to take his chance in the gold cup water is good enough for a gold cup. I don't know, but he can not knock his performance on Saturday I thought it was a great performance. Yeah. Look, what are you supposed to say when a horse rocks up and does that? I mean, obviously Dan skelton has said we're going to he's going down the gold cup route and they've mapped out a plan from already because there was a suggestion that or maybe he'll go for the Ryan air, but no, it's the gold cup is what they want to do. But there is more like the honor as well in the John hill. Yeah, John is more. He wants to compete in the prestigious sorry, Michael. I'm pushing for ala Ho, by the way, to run in the Ryanair. I want him to go and run in again. But yeah, John hill wants to win a gold cup. I mean, that's just quite simple. That being said, there was a part of me was looking at it going, I was like, everything is either pulled up fallen or being thrashed. And how good are they and behind anyway? I agree. A 100%, which I think are all, I think Tiger roll, they're just trying to get them down to handicap for the ground nationally. Now, you might say that. Sean quinlan. But I couldn't possibly comment. He still too high in the handicap handicapper. Yes, have a look at him. Have a look at him. Haven't I look at him there? We can not. We can not even run a race off this man. Have a look at him. Dary me. Mark a one 65. What? I mean, what do you expect handicapper for goodness? Exactly. Exactly. Huntington earlier is going to be absolutely delighted with that now. Fits peterborough chase and Huntington goes to first flow. Ugh. I say that because. I'm almost certain I talked up quite strongly on the podcast on Thursday and had him back I thought your line before we recorded the lads up front should have been done for speaking tickets. This is a cracking one. I think there was a if there was a placement after the secondary fence there definitely be heading for speed awareness course wasn't there. Speed awareness course was all around. When you break down a race like that, what is going through the jockeys heads up front that one of them doesn't go too fast here? Is it the case of the horses or two free or is it just they're all just going no no, I want the lead. Yeah, look, everybody knows that all of mankind is a free go on horse. They normally match the run and he's like he's done it from there once and he started overheard. Whether that's all he was getting an easy lead and he got an easy lead in Monet's garden and entry. Master Tommy Tucker is a bit similar. He's a bit of a dodgy jumper. You kind of have to throw it around. That I've been trying not to interfere with him. But he was beaten after a mile, and Charlie digs us, I was quite surprised that he was kind of up there, I thought he just would have followed Harry cobden and Harry skelton, but obviously we don't know what his instructions were, but I think he's the hard to tell. You were saying before we came on, I think he's the host to take over the race. You know, he rest up with the speed. And he was the only one that kept going, where later David bass who I think wrote a perfect race. He knew because first flow like he used a residence over the spades and he taught it's just going to be a bit branded for all of us taking each other on. So I'll let the lads get on with it. He used his brand and..

"Straight away from kaluki and hopefully we'll be getting those redies from the author of one of the best and most essential national hunt for that matter flat. And cheltenham books around a jumper to follow author Paul Ferguson from weatherby's joins is Paul, welcome back to the show my friend. I am a Thanksgiving. Great to have you back on board. I'm sure that you are delighted that there are three of your horses running tomorrow. The only problem is he's already on to me. He'll probably miss that they're all clashing in the 1240 the lab Brooks John Franken novices chase. It's great that there's a race named in honor of the greatest jockey of all time as the late great John McCarthy used to call him. We've got mister incredible. 6 to four hoists in your who's chasing debut didn't quite go to plan, but it was against fid the roof and was pitched in deep 7 to four. Flash, 11 to two. They're year three, and then there's ashtown lad. For Dan and Harry skelton. Right, you're going to have to pick one of your three my man. Is it significant do you think that Henry de bromhead is bringing mister incredible over here? Does that by any chance sway it for you? He's obviously brought a few of us for the meeting. I think this is the main reason why I missed another travels over is the distance, and I see 92 with an area in a week when he mentioned that the dream mode I've been a possible after he went on. He went from a whole position to be honest on debut. I think he was shuffled back. It was a bit of a car. I did the third fence that he was shuffled back he stayed on incredibly well off the home streets. I think the potential with him is he's always absolutely only had the three starts on the rules, but the potential to improve them with stepping up in trip is there for all to see really even overhead of last year and just the two starts we saw him. He looked like, I actually wouldn't have been surprised if he had pitted open a decent race at possibly a tree or a portrait style at the end of the season. And I think he had a little setback that kept him off the track from that, but they say possible he was ERP and not for a while when he made that wouldn't change their views also with expect that he'd probably strip a bit further for that. So I would expect significant improvement. Question with him, obviously the ground potentially, but it was pretty decent ground when he finished runner up in his point to point. And it wouldn't have been two tests in a rather nice Indiana Jones, who all always be earlier in the week didn't want too badly. So and obviously as the fall of his leopard second, the Christmas last year was Frank throughout last season by Gerard M and a and I think he's open to any amount of improvement, as you say, three of my 40 leading prospects class, and it's not an ideal race for me. And sometimes I'll strike rate or level stakes profit for those four. Absolutely that's in the race for that reason to be honest, it's obviously three or so really looking forward to. But on the other hand, it's a race I'm really looking forward to watching and seeing our develops. If you did want to get involved, financially, if you did want to go and place a better and I find this very difficult to break down as well because you can rule out any of them. I mean, you can make a pretty solid case for ashtown lad. To be able to bounce back here, particularly with the skeleton form in the way that it is. But if you were going to have a bet or tempted into it, while mister incredible is a horse that I would find it difficult to get away from, is flash close, the one you go with just because he's such a bigger price with kaluki sportsbook. They'll match any price that you can get. So currently he's 6s, so they'll give you 6s. Possible you can look at it from that perspective. For me, like if I could feel that I'm looking forward to seeing this season two of them haven't ruined one of them's run, or I don't see the two in the Motorola until that point. So obviously, mister incredible made the Wyoming reappearance as well. So I find it difficult to really to have a bet in the race when two of them are priced around 6 four 13 two 8. It just be a watching brief for me, touching on flask or lunge, Paul Nichols obviously got a strong hand in the novice chase division. This season three under three 5 was done well early in the season, but so I think it was possibly significantly marked as race for flash go on for a few weeks ago. He's on the wind ups until last seen and Paul Nichols actually won this race the past two years with Chase and Davidson. So it would be too concerned that we haven't seen him prior to this race because the last two winners of follow the similar path. And again, he missed the spring festivals last year..

"Honeysuckle might run there unless she skips it, having hopefully won the Hans Grayson has come through that, okay, you'd imagine that down here will be going open trip as well. And you'd like to think that echoes and rain will be there, too, because if you're going to say, well, we haven't learned anything about the frontier. We also haven't really learned anything about echoes and rain. Other than she does have something to prove, but only on the basis of the fact that she just didn't run a race. Like, there isn't one part. There isn't one ounce of my fiber of my being, the beliefs that that is her true form. Oh, it's very lightly, isn't possible. It's still a slight negative that you control in a sink or if you know what I mean. The other way out from here, people saying, oh, you can rule out that one. You should never really have anyone, because. They ran bad. Well, unless you're the very obvious reason that won't happen again, it still has to build it into assessment and the next day that they run a synchronic last day. What was that going to happen again? It's kind of like saying, it's kind of like assessing the run of put the Catalans saying, well, that's as good as put the kettle on is. On Sunday. It's clearly not the truth. And I would say it's the same thing for her. She clearly just doesn't want to race. And the basis of the fact that he's only had ten runners when Gordon's had 90 5 million in the same time period is a little bit worrying about the William ones the strange thing to say about a man who's just won the race. But it's enough to make you think maybe some of these horses just need to come forward a little bit. It's possible at the same time, you know, it is what you take on horses like charge open and if that's what they're hoping this year will then it is a huge step of class and what you did last year. So you would like to see a pure class network. I don't think it's just several classes or different day because if you think about it, as I said, they call it the second half, but then so you couldn't possibly say, but she's not capable of another they didn't go any faster than you would expect in a maiden hurdle. And for the made her keep going at that idea she couldn't manage to pick up at all nearly fell behind. So, yeah, you can imagine just want some rice pulling harder to get in. Yeah, she still has a bit of proof. Yeah, that's the other thing. She run very free as well. But I don't think that was the beating over I think she just is going to prove to be one of those William one of the sources that will improve in time. But whether or not she can actually be the horse that I think she can be remains to be seen. The final subject is what I consider to be one of the greatest pieces of horsemanship that I've ever seen. There may be a different view from Declan Mart. We'll see two runner race. We've had the debate about field sizes and. This is rubbish. These small field races, my producer actually said, what happens if both of these horses fall? Long before that happened. And I said, it would be avoid racing. And he goes, what happens if one falls on the other wins? Does it just a case of that? It's just that horse gets all the prize money that always wins. And I said, did you ever hear about the horse who the horse who fell yet won the race? What are you talking about? Said Scott. And I said, family business. Tony McCoy fell off family business. Saw another horse fall, then saw another two full, remounted, and as he did, I think another two fell. If I remember correctly, and he goes on and wins the race. And he'd never heard that story before. He's not massively into racing years somewhat inter racing, but not massively into it. You don't need to be to be a producer of shows. Most of the producers in racing TV coverage are not racing fans. And he was blown away by that. And thought it was an amazing story. I thought that it was an incredible piece of horsemanship from Rachel blackmore. How we can skeleton has gone at the front door. I think and it's just an opinion man that Harry skeleton looked at what Rachel blackmore was doing and went to go grab my drogo to remount and then realized oh crap, I can't do that. Because of the ruby slash caudal rule, you can no longer do that anymore. How Rachel blackmore has maintained the partnership in the first place, because they fall independently of one another at the second last, is beyond me. How she had the foresight and the thought of mind to get the horse back up. And then allow her to jump the last, and then just sail up the hill. I thought it was extraordinary. I think it's an exceptional performance going into the race. Henry drumhead had said she was going on a break anyway. That being said having read your tweets and I deliberately didn't speak to you about this beforehand. I think you have a slightly different view to me. My view would be the same understand. I touched it remarkably well to say, honest, although a friend of mine actually texted afterwards and said, it's got a lot of value because. I think he has been a bit harsh. Slightly. Yeah, I thought it was a really good session. I agree, Harry skelton. And he clearly ran out of the north's remark and I would disagree that he certainly could allow it. I don't think he talked it at all. I think he realized he wasn't going to be able to catch it because it started to look away. He looked around at Rachel, started running after his own heart. There's no way I've never seen a talk to be that friend who had a reason to try and he actually taught you for reimagining about I supposed that in the heat of the moment that Harry Sutton for Bosch that he wasn't a library mount. You could give red and some sort of what you heard like dispensation for the fact that she maybe forgot was a two horse race. Because the I can't think of any other reason for her doing what she did. I know you're saying it's hindsight, but actually when I was watching the race at the time, very first incident at the hospital, but she was going to stop walk around, give it a child series that okay. And then you bring it back to the back of the second ass. Because the horse because of its sit on land and in baroque it is already whatever 20 hours or so past is already a very short run to the last. So from a stand and start to get the momentum to turn blast with somebody very hard on a horse that had used a probably a lot of energy, keeping itself on a taste. So to ask for us to jump the last, which could have stopped. Make sure it was all right for someone who would have been far more confident to diversity and there's something wrong with it. I know her time to Stewart. She loves and it was fine to go ahead. I think that's what she had really like if you see similar to high school documented in the belly and then South America, but she didn't evaluate anything. But her only and C++ over the last 19 could have maximize our chances of getting over the last few hours a little bit, go back to the back of the second as if I'm more of a role model and the horse for the product again. And equally Daniel will have actually had a chance to find out was there anything apparently wrong with her? So I think she failed on board counts and the only thing I can think of is because she actually her instant was in a race and reality when she had a heart failure. She wasn't going to raise anymore. Yeah. I completely see your point in terms of welfare. And I can already hear people yelling at their smart speakers, their iPhones. They're in the car going. Come on, man..

"Bounce back to form. And you take Nikki Henderson at his word. Maybe the horse is back to form. But what else is he going to say? Of course, of course he's going to say the horse is back to form. Champion hurdle is a very, very weak division. And it's a weak division of this control by Ireland right now. So we need to see who Britain are able to bring along and maybe that may be west cork, maybe an ordinary Joe stay down Andy cap root maybe there'll be playing their trade in the greater company, but we'll have to wait and see. Tritonic ran well enough, but I think that's his form, I think that's just what he is. I like to move it or as Aidan Coleman called him on talk sport two yesterday. I like to move it move it, which then had the song in my head for the rest of the day. Washington put it up to him. This time, it didn't go to plan for Dan and Harry skelton. They came down when held at the last thanks for the horses all right, but he had taken a real keen hold. I like to move it was very strongly fancied in the market. And gets the better of a previously unbeaten, Washington. And obviously held in reasonably high regard for Ali Murphy as well. So thoughts on the sky bet supreme trial, novices hurdle. Does that look like a potential supreme novices hurdle winner to you moving? I think what every type of Ford race you should think after the race does definitely not happen in the race to all through your opinion. If anything, I would take you should have won by more than two lens. Even off. But it was a very severe race. It went. It went no gallop. I think there were a 43 lengths lower than the winner. He was at 40 feet and started west park for life. Yeah, he was still only half that quicker from that point. So how about 43 days behind and he still didn't make any ground prime noise on him. And he was about 6 times quicker than two H so it kind of just shows you, basically it's been for the second half and he's still getting even that much into the lead of the hundred have heard it which if you were going to take any of you,.

"Get here because he's, you know, he's got a chance of he's, it doesn't look like he's not gonna win a group one on the forum that he's shown. It could develop a fair bit more next year, but that's asking quite a lot. And the prize money for sort of listed in group three races is not great. Yeah. That's the same argument again. But he could recent in conditions races. In the states, not even in greater company and pick up quite big parts. So I wonder whether they be tempted to do that. Obviously, you know, it would be a loss to chair. But it just struck me as you know, if you're a bit free, a tight track can be can be a benefit. But usually get them settled around the band and stuff like that. And that would suit him. And he's he's the type who can he's got a high cruising speed. But also the ability to quick and offer as well, which I think would just U.S. racing down to the ground. With my limited knowledge, obviously, you might have people have better judges of U.S. facing who made disagree entirely with that. But that was the sort of struck me with him. Yeah. I think Peter Vaughn to tell and Naomi took her would agree with you. And Barry falconer for that matter as well. I'd say that being an agreement is also a gelding. So you'd like to think that he will be on the go for a while. So why not take him to America? Yeah, that's the thing is, you know, the opportunity for almost like him would be. It would be great in this dance. Yeah. That's a good show, you know? That's a really good shit. But sorry, Caroline's didn't hopefully we haven't planted an idea in anyone's head there. Shall we talk about some jumps racing, Roy? Yes, that's a jolly good idea to me. I think we should talk about some jumps racing, man, man. Trying my wife gets home. So let's talk about third time lucky. So this was the Friday square in the air calm lovers chase winning for Dan skelton. I was quite keen on video valleys for Paul Nichols and luckily he splits them and the way he jumped, I know he's taking quite a keen hold, but the way he jumped means that there are some, I think you will probably be dreaming of glory, I wouldn't quite be saying that yet. But he's definitely going to be going up to graded class next. Yeah, I think it'd be coming back for the article trial. In November as long as the grind isn't soft. If it is, then he would only go into some time with him instead. For the grid one there. This is really impressive. Again, it's easy enough to pull calls in the form after the event. It's a surprisingly cool time figure from time forward, which I need to get my head around that one because it's faster than standard. Essentially, well, just put this in context. The going was basically good to solve for this medium as good as after giving it as that the day before after it had quite heavy rain on the Thursday. But clearly it's been largely trying for a long time there and the goal was changed again to good. In the morning I'm judging by the times of the race, it has to be quicker than that to my eye, and time form of a judge is to be good to firm. It's possible that you just ended up with a lot of very good performances in the day. Producing surprisingly good times for the grind. But it's more likely that I was pretty fast. That I'm not very well. But I thought he was very impressive as jumping was really good. He didn't mess around for dalio villas. He's tries to run a child and twice disappointed. And this is not his track. He almost run out actually at one stage, not that he tried to miss a fence, but he was John so far to the right. At the top of the hill that he almost went outside one of the one of the gates. He was nearly on the bond of an ambulance at one point, I thought, Jesus. When he jumped right again at the water jump, high school decided that was a time to tick the race by the scruff of the neck. And it was all for very quickly after that quite frankly. He jumped straight and fast and within two or three fences he built up a big lead. And essentially had all the others on the hop. You can make excuses. I said, you know, you can say Fidel hasn't handled the track. He didn't come up the hill the last time he ran here last November. That was on softer grind. But he looked he didn't look critically happy on the undulations of cheltenham. Any news didn't get into a rhythm early on. He's a talented enough horse any news. And he run well at work and has reappearance. But I thought the key to him was they had to he had to get into a good rhythm early on. He didn't really do that. And he's just plugged on for a place. And, you know, he want to start writing the rest through, and I think it'll be through Bobby rich, who is pretty exposed and is useful but it's not superstar. So that's rather than saying, oh, he's beaten beaten any news 25 lengths here, essentially, he's beaten Buddy Rich by a pretty easy in the outlets. And I think he was value from more than that in the end. He wasn't, you know, I mean, Harry skelton as he usually does on these good horses. He's shown that once after fill the fact, you know, they weren't keeping a lot in reserve for the future, but he was very good here. And he clearly is it really the class chassis? Bear in mind, of course, this time last year, he was doing similar things over hurdles. And I think he was second favorite for the supreme at one stage. And he ended up saying busted flush over hurdles, but he ended up disappointing essentially. But he had wind surgery. Before this reappearance, and it seems, it may have made a difference..
