John Solomon: The Culture of Corruption on the Left
"There's a party in America out of the two parties that we have that has a real problem with what was the phrase a culture of corruption. Corruption. Cultural prompts in the latest everybody by surprise that wasn't paying attention is the former lieutenant governor of New York. So walk us through why it seems as if one party has a real problem with bent politicians. Yeah, listen, if you remember, this is how Nancy Pelosi swept into power during the 2006 election. Her first time, she's elected speaker. She and Harry Reid came up with a came up with the term culture of corruption Republicans have been in power for so long. They have a culture of corruption, and they rode that to an election victory. Well, Nancy Pelosi may be swept out of power this election in part because of this culture of corruption problem now on the democratic side. You've got the lieutenant governor. You got the former House speaker and Illinois with some connections, by the way, to the current governor there. You've got the Hunter Biden investigation, which could be one of the largest inflow influence pending scandals we've seen in a very long time. You've got state lawmakers in Kentucky and Tennessee in Nevada and Wisconsin, all with recent criminal cases. I think about a dozen corruption cases across the entire Democratic Party in the last few months and democratic middle of the road voters already have their frustrations with inflation and gas prices and rising crime, open border instability in the world, throw in corrupt crooked politicians. It's enough to create a maelstrom of a election storm in favor of Republicans heading into the November
Fresh update on "harry reid" discussed on The Financial Guys
"He's a money launderer. He's corrupt. Look, this is why they wanted Ukraine folks. They need the war on Ukraine because they need Ukraine. Ukraine is a money laundering absolute. Let me play another video for you. I'm going to play the audio of the Clinton set the foundation of it though. They were the ones that you know, yes. We've done this with other financial practices and stuff where you look at the foundation of how to build a business, right? And the clintons were the best at it. They walked into The White House with very little money and walked out with hundreds of millions of dollars. And everybody else, now some of them did it at a smaller level, right? Like Harry Reid walked out with ten or 12 million bucks. You know, he was only making 50 grand, 60 grand a year, you know, by the time he retired, maybe he was up to a hundred. But he was able to do it in a smaller level, right? And then Obama say, hey, look, hold my beer. You see what the clintons did? Hold my beer. We're going to ramp this thing up. And of course now, big guy wants his part too. I mean, he's doing 40 something years into it, right? Chucky Schumer, by the way. Anybody look into his net worth. I like to see what Chucky's net worth is, right? The guy who's never worked in the private sector once in his entire life. He's been a politician from day one. That dirt bag will walk away with millions and millions of dollars in net worth, millions. Trying to find this video, I can't find it. I'll play it on Saturday's radio show, but there's a guy he's actually a liberal and he's complaining because he's just sick and tired of the guy. He's really, he's really at this point now. He's just fed up with politicians. I'm fed up with politicians. I think honestly, this guy even though he's a liberal and I'm a Republican conservative. I think we're on the same page. I'll find it before the end of the show, maybe if not put on Saturday. But this guy goes on a rant. And he starts to call up. He goes, he was basically complaining because like everybody else, we're getting tax passages, emails, relentlessly. From the Democrat party, Republican Party, he's like, I'm sick of it. You got money. I'm working my butt off the floor gas prices, which you're doing nothing about. He reads off names and goes, you know, senator so and so. You were the 115 million. Pelosi, you're a 120. So and so, look at even AOC, AOC has been a Congress for four years, right? She went in with a negative $8000 net worth. She's now worth over a $1 million. Right. She's made a $180,000 a year. Now, if she, even if she didn't pay taxes on any of the 180,000 and invested the a 180,000, a 100% of her paycheck and had no other expenses, she would not have a $1 million today.
Charlie Welcomes US Senatorial Candidate in Nevada, Adam Laxalt
"Show with us as a friend of mine who will be the next U.S. senator for the great state of Nevada Adam laxalt Adam. Welcome to the Charlie Kirk show. Thanks for having me. Adam, tell us about your race. Well, first, thanks for having me. Look, it's important for everybody to understand that yes, we're living in a red wave environment, which likely means we can win the house and some governor seats, but the Senate map is incredibly small. We can not win the Senate without winning Georgia and Nevada, and I could tell you act up is as good as we can ask for. I'm running against Harry Reid's handpicked successor. Her name is Catherine Cortez masto, a lot of your listeners haven't heard of her because she has not had a major impact for our state or for our country. And look, we have an ability to continue to highlight all the things that are going wrong in America. It seems like within every single hour we get more bad news out of our failed leadership in Washington and, you know, we look forward to prosecuting the case. We've been doing that for the last many months. Of course, without the help of local media, but we continue to get our message out and every other medium we possibly
Senatorial Candidate Adam Laxalt Explains How Nevada Could Flip Red
"So Adam, some people have their doubts about a Republican winning statewide in Nevada, something you've done before. But tell us about how you think this year it can actually be done. I mean, Clark county, it's a beast. There's a lot of fraud, a lot of corruption, a lot of dead voters that are still on the rolls. Why do you feel this year? You're going to be able to conquer that giant. Yeah, first, I have one state wide on the former attorney general of the state. We won in 2014 when we had a red environment and I think that people need to understand that even in these slightly blue tilting years, this race has been this state has been razor thin. Trump lost the battle by two points, it's been well documented. That's with them changing our election, giving us mail in ballot, ballot harvesting all that kind of stuff. Senator masto only won by two points in 2016. Harry Reid was the majority leader in 16. You can't imagine how much how many chips he called in to get her in the office. And so we have the perfect opportunity and a state that has been ever so slightly blue to flip this seat in one last thing, the vaunted Harry Reid machine has slowly but surely been crumbling and the Democrats socialists and I don't mean that as just a tagline. They're actually self described and self named socialist took over the Democrat party here in Nevada. They invite the likes of Elon Omar to be guest speakers in our state. All these things make it prime for us to take the message to the voters and flip Nevada in

"It the so called nuclear option In fact Harry Reid helped destroy the Senate began the process in many respects but including using the filibuster to block Circuit court nominees that George W. Bush had proposed Never before in American history had a party used the filibuster the way the Democrats had used to stop one nominee after another Prior to that had been used or at least threatened once with respect to a Supreme Court nominee the early 60s But this was unleashed To stop George W. Bush who they called in all legitimate president As a result the election of 2000 and there were not going to allow an illegitimate president their words to make permanent changes to the judiciary And so they instituted the filibuster against circuit court nominee The media was very very thrilled about it When the Republicans took over they said okay we're going to institute it against the Supreme Court nominees Barack Obama And of course the Democrats squealed as if they had no role in In triggering this entire process The Democrats a few years back said but we must never abandon the filibuster when it comes to legislation Because then the Senate will be nothing more than the house And we don't need two houses because there will be a parliament Schumer made the argument little dick Durbin and other leaders of the Democrat party including Joe Biden Now they have a 50 50 boat advantage a 50 50 vote advantage in the Senate simply because the constitution gives the vice president the position of Senate president should she exercise it and in this case she would 51.

"Flash David Thank you so much Doug Harry Reid served as a democratic senator from Nevada for 30 years and was the majority leader for 8 of those years Washington today is honoring his service as he lies in state in the capital rotunda Welcome to senator Reid's former spokesman Jim Manley mister Manley is now a strategic counselor at apco worldwide so mister Mann thank you so much for joining us You worked with Harry Reid You knew him well give us your best recollection of Harry Reid Honestly it was unlike most of the other senators I work with over the 21 years in the Senate He simply spoke with on its mind I mean I worked for senator Kennedy at a time when he put his personal issues behind him And he was back on top of his legislative game and he was getting in the 90s He's getting stuff done Day in and day out but it was all very calculating Very strategic With center read unlike again most others he said what's on his mind and quite frankly sometimes are called caused some political blowback He gave me some gray hair sometimes as I tried to spin out of it But he was he had an interesting approach to power in the balance of power if you will And that is he wasn't afraid to stir up a fight He wasn't afraid to cause a ruckus because he liked the idea of causing some chaos and any thought he then he watched to see how people react to that And then he would deal accordingly But again the stories are diamond does in my favor is when he called former president Bush's dog Barney fat When he didn't need to do it but I asked him as we left The White House I asked him why did you do that And he said well because he was And fact the matter is with all due respect to the president his dog was famous Call them like you see them Yeah well as you describe it not a typical personality in Washington at least is we've come to know personal Washington at the same time He served as I said for 8 years as majority leader and I looked it up There are only two other men in the history of the Senate who've done that And one of the album Barkley and the other one was Mike Mansfield So what accounts for his extraordinary longevity Yes So he was a big fan of former center mansfields He tried to emulate him where he could But interestingly enough you know the guy who he detested as a majority leader and that was LBJ He didn't like bullies Sure the guy spent a lot of his time growing up getting and fist fights And again the stories are legendary but he hated bullies And so why was he good at what he does what he did Again he may not have been a man a few he may have been a man of few words but he's really good at listening to people He was incredibly skilled at counting votes any smart enough to realize that sometimes what someone said publicly was different from what they were thinking privately and he figured out ways to try and get that private position to go to the public position And then again another one of the skills was that he understood that taking a political position off a broad a little heat and he was fine dealing with it He had no problem dealing with all the incoming that was thrown his way over the years Believing that if he took some of the heat it would take off take some of the pressure off of his colleagues and or president Obama whose agenda he was working to try and advance day in and day out That of course was very successful at least in the first few years He did with no other majority leader had done and that was the past comprehensive healthcare reform And why was he good at what he does because he was the world's best listener Well I must say I find it fascinating that one of the longest serving Senate majority leaders didn't think that highly of what a lot of people think is one of the most effective majority leaders in Lyndon baines Johnson But talk about what he did get done because you mentioned the Affordable Care Act but he also Dodd Frank got past me with the American recovery and reinvestment act in 2009 A lot of things got done at a time that now we look back and say well we can't get anything done And that was where again for better or for worse I was in right in the middle of all of that It had a pretty good seat I always go back and forth on which one was toughest get any affordable healthcare act done Obama here and or economic stimulus Look it's neither more easy But from the very beginning he saw that from the very beginning when president Obama first became president he saw that the Republicans were going to do everything they could to try and oppose them Senator McConnell's famous words trying to make him a one term president Now I think just president Obama had wonderful things to say about center read last week so I got to be a little bit careful but there's no denying there was a little bit of frustration between center read and the president or by center read looking at the president because for far too long the president and his team to be clear thought that everything was on the up and up and if they could just sit down and negotiate with senator McConnell on these issues things would get done Senator Reed recognized that that wasn't the case He tried especially with ObamaCare We spent way too much time trying to negotiate the details but at some point it came down a brass tax on center read just went to work on the handful of Republicans that need it But bring it into his office for hours on end to get the votes he needed to pass all of those bills There really was an extraordinary piece of work and he just was absolutely relentless at it On this day when we honor senator Reid for his service a lot of what he had to do is very much relevant I want to talk about the filibuster which is very much in the news right now And I think somewhat controversial invoked the nuclear option to eliminate the 60 vote requirement at least when it came to Supreme Court Justice You think he ever had any regrets about that Something I learned from center Reed in which he drilled into me repeatedly over the years I work for him is never looked back So once he made that decision he never regretted it That much I can assure you Now to be crystal clear it took him a while to get to that position He started hearing about this issue in 2006 2008 when we had this influx of freshman senators who were right away frustrated with what was going on in the Senate And so Reed would call these meetings with them and they rail against the filibuster and send a REIT would take it all in and then he started working On his colleagues and there's no denying that some of the so called old bulls that are hearken and center left to the come to mind that were very reluctant to take that step but once we have them once we had their votes he executed that maneuver and no he never regretted it And I believe he's correct when he's says that if you don't think center McConnell would do the same thing under similar situations you need to get a new line of work Well I wouldn't want to argue with him on counting the votes That's for sure This has been utterly fascinating Thank you so much for sharing your memories of senator Harry Reid with us That's Jim Manley of apco worldwide Coming.

The Late Harry Reid Hailed as Statesman Despite Lies About Mitt Romney
"Reid, the late Harry Reid is being hailed on Emerson behe as a statesman. A statement who went on the floor of the Senate in 2012 during the election and lied flat out knowingly lied and said the word is at Mitt Romney has not paid taxes in ten years. By the way, mister McConnell, can you check and see whether or not Mitt Romney's put out a statement about the death of Harry Reid? You take away that Mitt Romney would have won the election. Knowingly lied. Later on said, yeah, well, you know, he didn't win, did he? Even Ryan salissa, a Trump hater on CNN. Has criticized harshly Romney for harshly, Harry Reid for going on the floor, the Senate and flat out lying about Romney.

"Presented by the Salvation army. Understated political strategist who mastered the inside game, dies at age 82. By Molly ball. Harry Reid rose from hardscrabble roots to the heights of American politics. His Kenny temperament and underdogs grit taking him from a one room shack and searchlight Nevada to the office of U.S. Senate majority leader. The former democratic senator from Nevada reshaped the U.S. Senate and transformed his home state's political culture, earning a reputation as a master dealmaker despite his laconic demeanor. He steered his party through the tumult of the Bush and Obama eras, turning against the Iraq War, cheerleading president Barack Obama's historic rise and shepherding the passage of the Affordable Care Act. Reed died Tuesday at age 82 at his home in Henderson, Nevada, the cause was not immediately disclosed. He had previously battled pancreatic cancer, but said last summer that it was in remission. He was tough as nails strong, but caring and compassionate, and always went out of his way quietly to help people who needed help. The current Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer said in a statement Tuesday he was a boxer who came from humble origins, but he never forgot where he came from and used those boxing instincts to fearlessly fight those who were hurting the poor and the middle class. Harry mason Reed was born in 1939 and a gold rush ghost town separated from Las Vegas by 50 miles of empty desert. The family lived in a shack made of stuccoed and railroad ties with no running water. Reid learned to swim at one of the brothels that were the town's main amenity. His father, a miner, was a brooding silent drunk who would later end his own life with a shotgun to the head. Read, nicknamed pinky, hitchhiked 45 miles each way to the nearest high school in the Las Vegas suburb of Henderson. It was the fight and read that provided an escape from his tough circumstances. In high school, he met the man who would become his mentor, Mike o'callaghan, a one legged Korean War veteran who taught read to box and would go on to serve two terms as governor. It was also in high school that Reed met and wooed landr Gould, a Jewish girl whose parents were so suspicious of his motives that he once punched her father in the face to take her out on a date. The couple eloped to Utah where Reed had with o'callaghan's help, gotten a scholarship to a junior college. There had been no religion and reads upbringing, the closest thing to faith, he wrote in his 2008 memoir, was an FDR quotation penned to the wall..

"At the wharf in D.C. 51 oxen hill Sterling 52° at 1240 we learned late Tuesday 9th at former Vanessa senator Harry Reid had died at the age of 82 Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer tweeting the new saying read quote never forgot where he came from and used those boxing instincts of fearlessly fight for those who are hurting the poor in the middle class Reed had been fighting pancreatic cancer in recent years He was first elected to the Senate in 1987 he was sent a majority leader from 2007 to 2015 Capitol Hill correspondent Mitchell Miller talked with Michelle bash about breed's legacy Harry Reid is one of those people who will have an enduring impact on Congress As you mentioned he served in Congress for an extensive period of time over three decades And during that period he really put his imprimatur on the spot of Senate majority leader which he served for as you noted from 2007 to 2015 He was a person who liked to get down in the trenches and really politically fight for what he thought was right Republicans obviously did not like that at all And he made his share of enemies with the GOP over the years but Democrats as you noted Chuck Schumer among them really really respected him Schumer actually was picked over dick Durbin to succeed Harry Reid as the Senate democratic leader once Harry Reid left Congress but one of his biggest accomplishments was really getting the Affordable Care Act passed under president Obama in 2009 as you know that was a huge heavy lift for lawmakers to get that done He was the person that wrangled all those lawmakers particularly on the democratic side to get enough votes to get past the filibuster and then to actually very very narrowly pass that bill that will probably be his greatest legacy is getting that past Of course a major accomplishment there other accomplishments that you can share of his One of the biggest ones in one that will have a long time impact is a controversial one and that is the so called nuclear option for years the Obama administration had complained that its judicial nominees were being held up by Republicans with the filibuster There had been a lot of talk at that time about whether to get rid of the filibuster for judicial nominees and for certain nominees in connection with an administration Eventually against the advice of several lawmakers he decided to go for it in 2013 and that basically opened the way for judicial nominees to be approved by the Senate not with a 60 vote minimum but actually to get a majority vote and to get them through Now what critics will say is that open the way for a lot of other arguments related to whether or not that should happen with the U.S. Supreme Court Harry Reid clearly did not want that to happen and stayed away from that but now this whole legacy has come to the fore again today as you know because they're talking about getting rid of the filibuster for voting rights and a lot of other issues So Harry Reid's legacy is still being felt today One thing I would like to add related to how he was in terms of his personality Harry Reid as many people will point out grew up as a boxer as a young man and had kind of a hard Scrabble growing up period in Nevada And it was that kind of push and shove in the political world that he was used to and that's why he didn't mind going toe to toe with people at one point he actually called former president George W. Bush a liar a lot of Republicans obviously upset with him for things like that But on the democratic side they saw him as a fighter and somebody who always really went after things Not only for the Democrats for but for the public at large That is wtd capital hill first responded to Mitchell Miller Get on the right page here Jesse Ed wizards and terrapins in action and we lost John Madden as well on Tuesday rob wood fork with sports next 1244 Diane.
Democrats Plan to Swing Back Aggressively at Republicans on Critical Race Theory Claims
"Democrat strategists say the party should hit back harder against GOP critical race theory claims. On a political level, it's a real threat one strategy is insider, but strategists say they shouldn't lose sight of economic issues at the top priority. Okay, a little bit of back and forth even in the header in the subhead. They called it a racist dog whistle and a lie. But those messages haven't helped Democrats tamp down on the uproar Republicans are fueling over critical race theory. Now a misuse catch all term for teaching on race and diversity in K through 12 schools that's firing up protests at school board meetings around the country. In Virginia, Republican governor elect Glenn young exploited the term. Interesting word choice exploited. Exploited the term pledged to ban it and classrooms on his first day as governor, and even though critical race theory in academic approach to examining racial bias, that's very nice of an academic approach to it's white racism. It's anti white racism, pure and simple. It's resegregation. It's backwards. It's the most regressive ideology that you will ever encounter. It's cultural Marxism, but under the guise of racialism of racial justice. Okay? That we're justice. It's the word that left claims. And they don't have any idea of who gets to define what justice is. It's basically their topic du jour, their morality du jour that continually moves. It's not rooted in anything eternal. It's not rooted in any type of faith. Tradition that is eternal or long-lasting that has tradition behind it. It's whatever they think justices that day, but they'll use the term, and then you are the person that they're going to contend with to get the justice that they deserve. You conservative, you Republican, you racist, parents all across the nation? So they go and say that it's just CRT is just examining our history of racial bias and is most often taught in law schools. Well, that was true. Until George Floyd and Floyd a palooza. Democrat strategists say the party should hit back harder against divisive GOP claims, while not losing sight of the priority of voters in the economy. Okay, at least they want to talk about the economy that they're running into the ground. On a political level, it's a real threat that has allowed Republicans to claw back the inroads, the Democrats have made in the suburbs over the last couple of election cycles that Jim Manley, a longtime aid former Senate minority leader Harry Reid. Democrats haven't yet pushed back on this issue enough, but the good news is the party's response is effective. They just need to make the case
Nevada Legislature Passes Bill Replacing Caucus With First-In-Nation Primary
"Nevada lawmakers have passed a bill to make it the first state to hold a presidential primary in twenty twenty four but it's far from being a done deal traditionally it's Iowa first with caucuses in February and then New Hampshire holds the next primary but Democrats in Nevada led by former Senate leader Harry Reid I think they'll do a better job of leading off the presidential contests saying the state's diversity better reflects the whole country and they're hoping to end their caucus process and go to primary balloting if signed by Nevada's governor the measure would still need approval from both major political parties and it's likely other states will object to getting pushed back on the calendar I'm Jackie Quinn
Senate Ends Hope for Significant Wage Hike
"So we got the senate doing their senate thing today. Right to vote a rama. There's all these amendments and there was standoff happening in something that happened there today. A seven democrats and one independent who caucuses with democrats joined with republicans to shoot down raising the federal minimum wage to fifteen dollars an hour as part of the biden cove. Relief package among those democratic. Novo's joe manchin of west virginia. Chris coons of delaware. The moment that really stood out was when arizona democrat. Kirsten cinema walked up to cast her. Vote miss cinema cinema. No out she represents arizona. Maybe that was a homage to the late. John mccain. Who famously did that to that. Repeal vote but that full thumbs down from arizona helped end hopes for a really big wage hike that the congressional budget office says directly affect seventeen million american workers on a bringing maria. Teresa kumar co founding president and ceo voto latino fetchacure former senior adviser senate democratic leader harry reid and current advisor to bernie sanders. Faz let me start with you. I want people to understand this. Vote before we analyze us. This was a vote that was going to fail either way. It was essentially a symbolic message. Vote because it needed sixty votes filibuster -able so going into this. Everyone knows it's not gonna be talking to pass. No republicans are going to vote for it. So it's a free ride. It's a layup you get up there and say yes. We want to fifteen our minimum wage. So it was very very surprising to me. A lot of people to see democrats eight of them in the caucus vote. No what is your explanation. Of course you've got to go back in history. A little bit where. President obama suggested raising the minimum wage to ten ten. It was hillary clinton during the two thousand sixteen campaign who suggested raising it to twelve. It was bernie sanders. Who's been pushing along with you to raise the wage to fifteen dollars an hour. And as a result of that we have gotten a lot of progress in the democratic caucus and not all the way clearly and painful. Chris you take senator cinema arizona's got a twelve dollar minimum wage. And in fact if you look at raise the wage which gradually raises the minimum wage to fifteen dollars over five years it would be at twelve fifty by year. Three which is where harris zona is so many ways it doesn't really impact arizona and yet you have center for cinema denying many people. Millions of people around the country are arrays of their wages. Maria wha what did you make so. I used to work in congress. A- as a hill staff for a long time ago on preparations and this was fairly unusual. Because what those eight did was say. That they were not going to deliver the biden agenda in the biden administration. Right now is going to figure out how to channel little lbj and demonstrate that there are consequences when there are not voting down for the presence agenda. As you mentioned. chris. This was a layup but i have to say when we when we witnessed this thumbs down by cinema. I think for a lot of folks people felt at at odds because when john mccain did it it was to save healthcare for millions of americans when she when she did today was turned down. This idea that there was going to be some sort of economic closer to economic committee. For millions of americans and fifteen dollars has even fifteen dollars does not keep pace with the with the inflation rate of the nineteen. Seventies the raiders really. I established it was perplexing on many many fronts but this is an opportunity really for joe biden to say. You're going to have to come down to the white house because we're gonna have a talking

"What do you hear that just a minute but lying to Congress? I have to pause here. Because another of the double standard selective outrage examples Harry Reid. Harry Reid is on the floor of the Senate during the 2012 election. And flout says the word on the street is that Mitt Romney has not paid taxes in 10 years. Let him prove that he has because he hasn't Was alive. Harry Reid knew was a lie when he said it. And then when he was comfortably out of office, giving an interview with CNN kicking back and he's asked about it was, Yeah. And she says, Do you feel bad about this? And he smugly said Well, Rommie didn't win, Did he? The ends justifies Means. Harry Reid, get camp least alive. You know the Twitter account. Yeah, I checked it there today is still there. That lie dramatically hurt Romney. I'm not saying it turn the election, but the whole mean was, this is a rich guy who doesn't want to turn over his taxes. He's playing by a different set of rules. And for And the reporter on K on ABC, Jonathan Karl even said That Romney compared to anonymous candy making $75 a year. $75 a year has a lower federal effective income tax rate than the auto mechanic. It's a lie. It's comparing apples to apples. To homeowners to people were married. Two people have kids and therefore take the standard deductions. The auto mechanics, federal effective income tax rate is substantially lower. And Romney has done in the carnal been canceled for that lie. Pushed the mean that rich people don't pay taxes..

"They changed the rules to accommodate President Obama tried to stack the court. They never thought Clinton would lose. So what you're gonna have is Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer's desire to stack the court. On their democratic watches. Come come back to haunt them. If there is an opening for their scans, burger anybody else I will urge the president to nominate a qualified conservative and hopefully those people will get through that. Now. His letter to senators Feinstein and Leahy Durbin White House Club, which are kun's Blumenthal, Hirono Booker and harass those the Democrats in the Senate Judiciary Committee. Saying that like million of millions of Americans, I was shocked and saddened to hear of justice. Ginsburg's death She served honorably on the federal bench was a Trailblazer for women in the law. She will be missed. When the American people elected a Republican Senate majority in 2014 Americans did so because we committed to checking and bouncing the end of President Obama's lame duck presidency. We did so we follow the precedent that the Senate followed for 140 years since the 18 eighties, No senator's confirmed an opposite party President, Supreme Court nominee During an election year because our Senate majority committed to confirming President Trump's excellent judicial nominees, and particularly because we committed to supporting his Supreme Court nominees. The American people expanded the Republican majority in 2018, We should honor that mandate. Also unlike in 2016, President Trump is currently standing for re election. The people will have a say in his choices. So he's letting them know we have a job to do. Republicans were voted for a reason elections of consequences. We're going forward, and then he continues. Lastly, after the treatment of Justice Cavanaugh, I now have a different view of the judicial confirmation process. Repair the treatment of Robert Poor Clarence Thomas Samuel Alito on Brett Kavanaugh to that of Ruth Better Ginsberg, Sonya's son of my urine, Elena Kagan, and it's clear that there already is one set of rules for Republican president and one set of rules for a Democrat president. I therefore think it is important that we proceed expeditiously to process any nomination made by President Trump to fill this vacancy. I am certain if the shoe were on the other foot. "So the senators who were Democrats change it from 60 to 50 because Obama and Harry Reid wanted to do it here we are a few years later. And guess what the chickens have come home to roost. And now the Democrats have painted themselves into the box. And now they've done that. Why the Republicans? What degree on this? There's not some power that the last two months of a presidency doesn't exist anymore. He still has all the power of the presidency, and the sand is still has all the power of the Senate. Of course, if the shoe were on the on the other foot, wait only route. Let's say Harry, let's say Hillary Clinton and won the presidency over Trump. And here she sits, and she's down in the Polish is going to lose. And the Senate majority leader is Chuck Schumer. Do you think you're doing Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer would wait until the Republican was elected to take away their vote? Do you think that what happened? Well, no course not Personal. I want to re actually said about Harry Reid and how he had this stuff. Because now you only need a a bare majority. 51. So all I could say is I'm calling flowers or us and I'm having delivered to Harry's out. He's my neighbor. You know, you get sent flowers over there in Rose's Harry Reid and thank him for this. A Zafar is whether you know Schumer would've waited or any Democratic majority leader would have waited so no, but Arjun RBG wouldn't have waited. Ruth Ginsburg wouldn't away to their story right now Brand new just out afew minutes ago in the New York Post that, Ruth Bader Ginsburg told the Senate in 2016. Jule yourjob and replace Scalia before the election and the only thing that stopped it from happening, Of course, Mitch McConnell was in charge of the Senate. If it wasn't a Democrat, or they would've rammed it through, we have control said it and we have to ram it through. So RBG Ruth Bader Ginsburg said. You've got to do your job and replace Scalia. Well, here's what annoys me about respect her Ginsberg's first. Well, if that's what she really believed in it. I've been very nice. I'd like to be nice people are dead, but I still have to say something a little negative here. Listen. She's a total hypocrite in the fraud if she said 16 to your job in her place, Julia, and then she told her daughter on her death bed. I don't want anyone replacing the Let the next president do it. That's hypocrisy, the finest and it also bothers me because it's elitism at its finest. She obviously thinks that she owns that kind of like several black Democrats who were in Congress can't remember all their names. Conyers all these black Democrats when they die after 40 years of being Congress, their wife runs See you think upstairs. They think they own it. American people owned that seat in the Supreme Court of the American people on the Congress. You don't own it. No family owns it forever. Slaves anymore. The United States of America were not, and you're not the king and she's not the Queen Respirator. Ginsberg. She has no right to determine who gets her seat. Last I checked. The only person who thought he could control with feet was a blah go and he went to jail with the governor of Illinois. He thought he owned Obama said it see, and he thought by giving it away could make some money. Guess what. Nobody's going to get rich off. The Supreme Court seat Republicans job is to put someone in the seat and it doesn't belong to the Ruth Bader Ginsberg family. It doesn't belong to the Democrat Party. And here's one area where I disagree with Trump. It doesn't belong to a woman just because a woman was in it. You know, I know, he says He thinks he wants to get elected. And you got to make the women vote. You know, female vote happy and that's fine with me. But I'm just telling you, it bothers me a little bit as a male. I don't think Trump should we walk around saying I'm only Women with seat anymore than Biden should have ever, said Mulligan, Syria black woman for vice president. It's all outrageous whatever happened, just worrying about who is the best candidate. What Ruth Bader Ginsburg could have done When Anthony Anthony Kennedy had done and picked her successor. She could have gone to Obama at any point up through the seventh year of his presidency. Even with the Republicans in charge, say, a year and a half out at that point, you would've been what 83 83 years old and she had colon cancer rectal cancer, she had pancreatic cancer. And she was 83 years old with a beautiful grandkids, she said. He said Mr President, you pick my cig, my successor and with the Republicans controlling the Senate. I'm sure that with two years to go, we could get that done and she could have said I will. I will retire from the U. S Supreme Court If you pick this person, and Obama would have said Thank you very much. Justice Ginsburg. Ginsberg and he would have done in Kennedy. Did it. Candidate goes to Bush directly indirectly says Look, I'll step down if you named my law clerk, Bread cabin all and of course, the deal was made in a way you go when the book from books come out. That is what happened. But Ginsburg could have named her success, successor and change the country. All of this if she had the foresight to do it, but you don't That she did not want to quit her seat at the age of 83. Why not spend time with the grandkids? Why not travel? One up the RBG? Why not have some freedom? But she wanted to go down with the ship. And now that she's gone down with the ship, let's apply the Ginsburg standard. Against Burke Standard four years ago was if a president nominates somebody. They have to have a vote in the Senate, which is what she said in 2016 dealing with marriage, Garland. But now the Ginsburg center has has been ignored and that that's sad. She had the right to do what you did and retire early, and she didn't do it. Now. We've got about five minutes remaining. What.

Biden rallies establishment in bid to turn back Sanders
"Biden Wins. Every county in South Carolina from the hills to the C. Colossal victory in the first representative state. Is this the second day of the rest of his political life? Well it certainly feels that way. I mean look at the last forty eight hours. You have money which he hasn't had you've had endorsements you have people on the hill rallying around him. There's a Russian expression I think Peter might know it Success has its own aroma. That when you start winning that something happens that there's sort of an aura. People wanted to see him win. It's not just that he won one really big. And the the proportion of the African American vote the way he dominated constituency which is so important in a Democratic primary centene incredibly powerful message to people who had been wavering about him Peter Baker I recall a donald trump using biden's name a time or two in the past. Have you any evidence about how the president is processing the Biden Victory in South Carolina? I'm really what it may mean for the rest of the race. Look I think we know that the president would rather see Bernie Sanders. He's Kinda Telegraph that as his opponent. Candidates are notoriously bad picking their opposition. They they may not always have the right decision on that. But I see the contrast between the socialist and his version of capitalism as advantageous choice for the fall so tonight at the Rally. You heard him go. After Biden. Newly Resurgent Biden. Pretty harsh terms. He mocked him as feeble minded. Kind of has been ridiculed the vice president for his verbal gaffes lately confusing names saying that could be tomorrow's Super Thursday instead of Tuesday that kind of thing and he seemed to relish it but at the same night is trying to stir the pot. He's trying to get the sanders supporters. Upset whatever happens if he would lose if he were to lose. The president is saying is because it was a coup. That was the phrase there. Were he used today? I think on twitter because he wants to say they're the establishment is stealing it from Bernie Sanders in his view. He wins either way. He gets a candidate he wants and Bernie Sanders and a stark choice. Or you know. He gets a moderate Democrat to face but makes the laughter try get the left anyway. Upset BECAUSE BERNIE. Sanders did get what he says is fair do congresswoman. It's hard to imagine and fast forward through the history of the Democratic Party to a time where there has been one colossal consensus figure in the Democratic Party coming off his historic two-term presidency. He and the former first lady are often at the very top of opinion polls for most admired man. Most admired woman talk about the Barack Obama effect potentially on this election. Well I think it's a significant effect and I don't think it just rest with president former President Obama. I think you know when you look at people who were central to the Obama Administration now coming out in support of Joe Biden. That is in some ways telegraphing where the OBAMAS are and so. This shouldn't be a surprise me. We in some ways it would be kind of odd. Obviously if Vice President Biden didn't get the support of these allies of President Obama. We'd be all over that that. I do know Susan. Rice endorsed today among others. Well she did and I think that you know when you look at the range of endorsers especially today from Susan Rice and shoring up the foreign policy backing Joe Biden on domestically to have better work. Stand there along with Buddha judge or with char that makes a huge difference. Those are big signals sometimes. Endorsements don't matter at all in a campaign and we overestimate that but these were big Carolina. I'd like to read from you. The work of Jonathan Martin and Alex Burns over at your outfit very simply. The headline tells the story frozen in anxiety. How Democratic leaders leaders struggled to confront Bernie Sanders What is the story mean for the future potentially of the Democratic Party? Well it means a couple of things one if you look at that story part of the reason that they had a difficult time building consensus at that point around. Biden is because the campaign was really bad. The candidate was not reaching out to people as obvious as Harry Reid. The money was not coming in. Joe Biden was running in a very old fashioned way. He didn't have the base of say small donors and I think that story gets that and I think everyone should read. It is really the tension that might erupt if the Democrats are successful in kind of building up Biden as the Anti Bernie and prevailing like do they risk alienating. Some of the young people especially young men have gotten excited about Bernie Sanders to your first point. Sometimes people just like to be asked Harry. Reid came out in the last twenty four hours and endorsed but as they say that would have been nice lovely before the primary in his State. But actually you're raising a good point because today. I don't know if you've heard Biden's remarks he asked for people's help. He asked for their support. So somebody is sort of getting that message to him and Dunn Edwards a blatantly political question. What do you do about the split in the party? What do you do if you arrive at your convention? You'll be there and Bernie Sanders has slightly more of the delegates and that there's a group that wants to nominate Joe by first of all. I hope that we actually don't get to that point because I think it is really difficult. One and I would urge Democrats to stop running the Anti Bernie Campaign. They can run a campaign that elevates Joe Biden support coalescence around Joe Biden without sort of putting a knife in the Bernie Sanders supporters. I think that would be wrong for our party. And it certainly will not help us coming out of the Convention to have fully United Party. I mean Bernie has said that he's committed to that and I actually believe him on that point and I don't think he's GonNa be used as a pawn by Donald Trump. Should he not get the nomination but exit and that kind of exit is really important and so we have to figure that out? And I don't know yet whether burning might have enough to go into the convention and consolidate support and get the nomination. That could still happen. I do think for all you viewers watched Texas if Joe Biden does really well there I think in in Bernie a does well on Super Tuesday but Joe Biden has enough reason in enough momentum to to really challenge him in a number of places. I think there's a really good shot that we go and I'm not just saying this because I've dreamed about it as a reporter forever but that we go to a convention and have a contested convention you guys are on different teams just simply just because the anxiety for anti I get it. Zantac sales will spike Peter. I've got a tweet from Aaron. Blake over at the Washington Post again to keep things fair. Republican members of Congress haven't sent one tweet or press release mentioning Burris Ma or Hunter Biden since February seventh per alleged storm. One day after Biden Win South Carolina. Senator Johnson of Wisconsin sends this letter on a Sunday. No less Sometimes Peter the Republicans are Director. Never Ironic fifth well. Look you know. Burris wasn't necessary in the Republican. Playbook when Biden was down and out he was a fourth-place fifth-place finisher and the early primary states and they had bigger fish to fry at that point. It was Michael Bloomberg on the rise Bernie Sanders on the rise. They were focused on them. Now Biden of course is resurgent. You're going to hear a lot. More about Burris men Hunter Biden. And that's something that Democrats have to take into consideration is they picked their nominee because it is a subject. They're going to have to address the fall. If Joe Biden is their nominee either got to figure out how they're going to answer it how they're going to defend against going explain it. Some of these things can be dismissed as well. President trump was exaggerating. But there are some things that are genuinely troubling to a lot of voters even Democrats who have been disturbed by by some of what they've seen so this is a big factor in a way the Republicans are trying to stir the pot here before Super Tuesday. But it's a reminder that we're playing we're not playing ball and this is going to be a big contest come the fall. Whoever's the nominee Peter you're around to cover the Obama White House year among the former presidents biographers when people ask you what you saw of the relationship between President and Vice President? How easy was the relationship that kind of thing? How do you answer? That's a good question. I didn't start off that easy. In fact these are two very different kinds of personalities. They came from different generations. Different backgrounds different experience levels different introvert extrovert kind of ways of dealing with people but over the years they were together they really did bond in a pretty significant way. I think certainly you saw that by the time. Beau Biden died and Barack Obama gave the eulogy at the funeral. That was about as close a bonding moment as you can imagine between two political figures that doesn't necessarily mean he. He thought that Barack Oh so he thought that Joe Biden necessarily the best candidate to run this year. I think the Rock Obama had his concerns but now that we're facing a choice between Bernie Sanders and one other candidate. You can sorta see as as you put it as Kelly and her colleagues wrote the subtle hand of of Obama coming into play here which clearing the field to some extent of the the other Moderate alternatives that is a biden versus sanders. Kind of contest. Everybody Strap in Super Tuesday star. Hours are great thanks to Peter Baker to Caroline Ryan to Donna Edwards for starting off on manic
Joe Biden Accepts Endorsements at Dallas Rally the Night Before Super Tuesday
"Okay as we approach super Tuesday there is a lot of campaign activity to keep track of people to judge the former mayor of south bend Indiana has endorsed former vice president Joe Biden the judge suspended his own presidential bid last night also today Minnesota senator Amy Klobuchar plans to suspend her campaign and she also endorsed by them they're set to appear together in Dallas NPR political correspondent Asma Holland has been traveling with the biting campaign she joins us now has some other there are let's begin with this booty judge endorsement what did he say tonight well it just happened a few minutes ago here in Dallas and he said he was delighted he endorsed by did in part because you feel like you know this is not just about winning the presidency it's about winning the local Senate and house races and he made some sort of I think coded references to Bernie Sanders suggesting that being the loudest is not always about being right he also mentioned that he feels like Joe Biden it's just a particularly decent person he sees that he said would you run against him but also when you start your wedding comes with own hometown of south bend while he was vice president okay just a step back for a moment though I mean we see endorsements from the judge from club which are along with an endorsement from former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid which also came today for Biden how big a deal do you think are all these endorsements put together today I mean it's tricky I mean for Joe Biden said get news right you had a pretty rough opening to this primary season finishing in fourth place in fifth place he's I hope you had a remarkably strong last seventy two hours not only would that resounding victory in South Carolina but they're just getting us we would contortionist and really what we've seen is we've seen a moderate candidate in this race decide that they were going to coalesce around one single alternative to Bernie Sanders and they decided that that best alternative is Joe Biden you know on the other hand though Bernie Sanders had run at the anti establishment figure in some way not really he's in North Dakota bolstered his theory of the case which is that the democratic establishment it is not for him and they have never supported him and didn't you know he's not always been a part of a long time member of the Democratic Party right so if you're on the Sanders campaign right now I guess how might you be feeling seeing all these endorsements coming in for a bite and I mean it's a tricky thing to say what they wanted an endorsement from someone like beauty get you Bernie Sanders has really ideologically Gifford with substantively on the debate stage you know both provided an empty dejected suggested that Sanders Medicare for all vision which is too radical it was not in sync with what a vast majority of Americans wanted their queue and and really I think it's gonna Sanders campaign you're hot again the establishment and most of the north is that we've seen today well really good for Joe Biden in terms of you know consolidating the traditional democratic establishment support you know what Bernie Sanders I would argue it makes it a stronger as well so I I really would say you need a clarifying vision will be what we actually start counting votes I'm super Tuesday went fourteen states will vote right and speaking of super Tuesday I mean what do you think the effect will be tomorrow on super Tuesday and going forward of both the judge and any call which are not being in this race anymore I mean look Joe Biden certainly has much to gain specifically because we see these two candidates who dropped out of the race go ahead and line themselves up behind Joe Biden impact judge tonight here said that he was endorsing but any hopes that his supporters would join in and that I think would be most interesting out there is that when we look at some of the polls earlier in the week last week it looks like Joe Biden was really on the cusp of being viable in some of the states that means he needed needs to get fifteen percent in order to accrue any delegate to win clover shard JH no longer in the race at all it seems likely that he'll get at least a moderate this and at least that way you'll be viable and be able to get delegates and to me that is the biggest difference is that really will likely see many more places where bite in across the board is able to recruit delegates mark all right that is NPR's us Mulholland thank you so much

"If they defy the law and the constitution too. Then that's something we need to focus on and we have with convention of states. But Mitch McConnell is a disaster. And yet he has enormous power in the Senate. Nobody challenges him because he pulls people from committees. He Yanks them in his room is office. Read them the riot act withhold money from them. That's why this jet governor of Arizona picnic. Sally Sally is a McConnell light. And that's all McConnell cares. About McConnell is power hungry as Nancy Pelosi. You need to understand this. And he'll have all the sycophants in Washington DC. Yes. But he got us cavenaugh. He didn't get us anything. You can thank that Harry Reid. He set the stage for Gorsuch and Kavanagh's confirmation. Mcconnell, what has McConnell done in the zillion years? He's been the leader of the Republicans. He can't even communicate with the American people, isn't it time to put some of these dinosaurs out to pasture shouldn't they go home to their families, their grandchildren. I don't understand this you want to sit in the Senate. For thirty years. Thirty six years forty two years, you're in your seventies and eighties. What the hell's wrong would you care about your families? I'll be right.

"Museum of the way we live is talking points. And I don't know about you. But I can't stand them when I even on my own network when I hear somebody live, and I can almost literally hear him or her reading off the page the talking points. I just can't bear it. I click it off. But it's politics today is. And too often reflected in the media. Yes. I have Mike over here. Ignoring this side that these shot up. The change of the doorbuster rule for supreme court justices from sixty down to fifty done by. Mitch McConnell Democrats are changing for everybody. But the chief Justice. Extreme court justices. You think that change resulted in getting both courses cavenaugh confirmed or would they have been confirmed without it? And do you think? Changed back to sixty votes. So should get broader consensus of who three-man. That's like asking people to disarm unilaterally. That's what the Democrats would say to you. I think they would not have been confirmed. If there had been the fish where the filibuster rule, but. There is no doubt in my mind that. That even if the Democrats had not done what they did that Mitch McConnell would have changed the filibuster rules for judges period. Because. That was the way that he this is what this is this presidency was his chance, and and he took it. And I don't for a moment. Think that? If Harry Reid hadn't in desperation at the end of the Obama administration managed to finally change the rule. For lower court judges. If if we're if he'd never done that. I am. Pretty sure that Mitch McConnell would have changed the rule and the the best evidence of that is that. Enough of the old bulls on the democratic side didn't want to didn't really want to change the rule, and and neither did some of the old bull. Republicans like McCain McCain went to McConnell and carried a proposal from the Democrats in from Harry Reid. It said if you came to a head when there were three openings on the DC circuit and Obama named three people to the DC, circuit and. The Republicans were filibustering all three of them. And the Democrats said we're going to change the rule because this you're just you're just blocking everybody we have. And so, but they had a proposal. They said, which they gave to McCain carried a McConnell, which was and to the Republican caucus, which was if you will approve one of the three we will not change the role and McCain brought it to the Republican caucus, and they all said, no. So. If you really wanted to maintain the rule there was a way to do it. And some people did wanna maintain the rule, but I don't think it was a majority of the Democrats or the Republicans assuming long life for the four liberal judges. If you will is it likely in the next two years that we could see a resignation of one of the those on the right in order to give Trump third appointment. No, I don't think so. No, I don't think. So if Clarence Thomas retires, he'll do it because he wants to retire. He will not do it. I don't think to give Trump another appointment. These people are really very loyal to this institution and to themselves, and they think they do their job quite well. And they're not inclined to say, oh, well, somebody younger than me. We should give him his or her that person should have their shot. It's I. The only time I- Viren white was going to retire. He waited to retire until there was a democrat until Bill Clinton was in office. But if Bill Clinton had not been elected he would have retired. He waited because he wanted there to be a democrat. But he wasn't in a way. Eight more years. Right. Of course, in your coverage of Anita hill was one of the most important parts of me, kind of realizing that there was news outside of my school playground. For that. And listening to the cabinet hearings. I was just wondering how that was personally for you. Having broken the story of need hill was difficult, and how in general how that experience was about to reveal to you in some sense. What a venal person, I am it wasn't that difficult. It was too good a story to be that. But I did on the day that Christine blassie Ford testified in everybody was saying, well, I is is tell us. I all I could do is think that people thought that at the after Anita hill testified to and and it turned out not to be true. The White House was very tough about sticking with it. And and trying to get I Thomas through and succeeding. And doing the same with cavenaugh, and they had McConnell to help. And. I was not surprised that the the whole narrative turned quite a bit. And I was not surprised that it was. Such a partisan vote. Either. It was a lot of seemed deja vu. All right. To some extent. You know? I was I was very I was sort of just amazed one on all things considered one night. They had Hank Brown. Former Senator Colorado on who'd been on the judiciary committee went during the during the. Hill Thomas hearings, and he said repeatedly that. There really was no corroborative evidence from Christine Blasi Ford. And there wasn't a lot that there was so much more evidence into for in corroborate Anita hill. NET Hill's testimony, and that she had so much for so many more people should she told and. Contemporaneous lead who recalled it and who were willing to come forward, and she knew where everything had occurred. And she could Rick cite chapter and verse of what had happened and. And then he got off the air, but he voted to confirm Clarence Thomas. So everybody's brains. Just sort of recycled things the way they want them to be recycled. As always a question here. Hi, this is just curiosity. I have never seen anything in print about a spouse of a Justice before this year. And I suppose MRs Thomas is out outcoming, whatever she was doing. But there was a big expose about her opinions and the Justice saying that he relied on her and her opinions for so much of his thinking in his own positions. Do you interact with the spouses, I mean, do you have occasion to see their opinions or she asked me she has a long history of being very active in political conservative circles. So she was one of the top legislative aids for Dick Armey when he was Republican leader of the house. She. Campaigned vociferously against the ACA, the Affordable Care Act and be Ginny Thomas is that is it is not a seek her views are not a secret. Now, some people have spouses whose us are frankly, a little nutty and they're not. I I have no idea how much influence she really has in his formulation of views. But in the. And I suspect deeply that. At some point. She took a a less visible job. And I think probably at her husband's request. And I would not be surprised if that had been at the suggestion of the chief Justice is this sort of makes people question his views. But the other spouses as far as I know are not politically active. I'm sure they have political views, we all have political views. I guarantee you my husband has political views, and I do not always share them. What does your curious what level of access you have to the justices? Are they all equally accessible fly down? But this is one of those times when a pays who've been around a long time. So, you know, people when they're coming up. I knew Steve briar when he was Ted Kennedy's cancel on the Senate Judiciary committee. I knew Justice Scalia when he was on the DC circuit. I took him wants to the White House. I funds association with he was on the DC circuit. I knew I knew Kavanagh when he was not even on the DC circuit. So, you know, I knew Ruth Ginsburg when she was. Arguing cases in front of the supreme court. So. If you know people before they're become injustice, it's very advantageous in terms of knowing them well enough to have some access to them, but it's not access like you have two political figures because they can't talk about anything before the court. They can't I wouldn't ask them. They wouldn't talk to me at all. I wouldn't have any sense of who they are human beings. If I were to ask that kind of a question because they wouldn't answer it. Very limited. Right. It is extremely limiting. Right. It is extra. You really do when you cover the court to a large extent, you are basing your day to day reputat on what the court does not on who they are. What a great evening we are. So happy to have you where you are. To..

"Clip. Former Senator Harry Reid says he's not quite finished. With the study of UFO's read centered an interview this morning that he's working to convince his former colleagues in congress to take the mystery seriously as the I team first reported back in two thousand seventeen read and to Senate colleagues authorized, a classified Pentagon study of UFO's one that was carried out by Las Vegas contractor now. Part of the study involved now public videos of encounters between the US military, an unknown vehicles that were far superior to anything known to exist. Now during an interview with camp PR state of matter program read, call the study, quote, incredibly important and said he hopes congress will make it easier for witnesses to come forward. We found in the past his it. Pilots when they see something strange like this. Reported. Hey, boss. Hoping something's wrong with them. And they don't get the promotion so many many times they don't say or anybody about these strange things. But now people are beginning to see the facts and the facts are. I need a place to be able to report this, and that's what I'm going to work. Read also said he has visited top secret area fifty one multiple times. But the client to describe the technology or the projects he seen at the base. We do have a link to that full interview on our website at Las Vegas now dot com. Now, that's Harry Reid. Speaking about how he's lobbying to get more money to investigate UFO's. Topic of UFO's has not died, in fact, rita's lobby the leaders of the Senate appropriations defense subcommittee to get money for projects on how he could get military personnel. They need to need to be supported exporting suspicious sightings without facing retribution. Now. What's interesting is that all of this went down about the same time that on December tenth twenty eighteen. Meteorologists were watching weather radar in southern Illinois and southwestern Indiana and western Kentucky, and they noticed an unusual formation drifting through the area. It was chaff. Actually, we we talked about this. It was back when we were talking about the cold weather, the Chem trails all this. We were talking about the chaff was dropped. And it was reported around three. PM central time. It it lasted for a good long time, ten hours and it drifted over several states. Well after they did it investigation. They said it was chaff was dropped by a C one thirty they use chapter military exercises. It's reflective aluminum trailer. They bring down so they can reflect on radar and chap incidents are not rare. No one's trying to read into this or anything. But what's interesting is determined? This chap was dropped by a C one thirty, but they didn't know where the thirty km from the chaff was laid from C one thirty planed income come me to Fort Campbell in Kentucky, your Scott air force base in western Illinois. Now last hour, I talked about how Scott air force base was the area where a UFO was cited in two thousand one actually knows in two thousand January two thousand where are these police officers in Highland PD mill stat in several others Lebanon. Saw these three story UFO in the areas of flying triangle, and it turned out that. These police officers from several agencies was chasing chasing, this UFO. So when. You know, that whole area there when things go down, you wonder, well, do they have? Do they have other airports where this thing can be dispatched his Boeing testing something? You know, when you're when you're looking around you're wondering, well, what is causing all this chapter show up. Well, got an Email from a guy who said that. Well, this is what he claimed he says the chaff was dropped by an unidentified C one thirty two block radar tracking of unknown flying craft was being tested over the area. He said that he believed that they were trying to cover up. The fact that a fleet of UFO's were being tracked by both Scott air force base and Fort Campbell after it was reported that an unknown craft or drones were reported over Evansville airport. Now, this makes me think about what happened over Gatwick where they were seeing drones and UFO's and he shut down the airport for three days. So what's going on? Well, we wanted to call upon our investigator UFO Senator Peter Davenport, director of the dash reporting center. He's with the director since nineteen Ninety-four. He has been here to talk about active UFO reports and to encourage people who see you oppose report them in national UFO reporting center, Peter Davenport, welcome to ground zero. Thank you. Nice to work with you. It's nice to work with you to there have been booms. There have been earthquakes there have been all sorts of craziness going on in the areas. I spoke with regard to the chap. It's happened a week later. There have been some crazy reports of UFO's. And in fact, there was also Chapman blips seen in southern Florida. Also at the same time in the crazy thing is now the military says they're not doing chap runs. But I got an Email from some guy that says they're doing chaperones to hide UFO's from showing up. What do you know about you Afo sightings in these areas? Well, I reviewed the reports we have in our database for Florida, and it looks like we got a slew of reports from December. And we're getting quite a number from January of this year. We have about twenty reports already just from Florida for the month of January, and we had about forty or fifty it looks like maybe even sixty reports from Florida for last month December. So that's a that's a lot of reports. We usually don't post that many reports in aggregate for a month. From a small area of the country. Anyway, so. I would say that's quite a number of reports from one state. Yeah. I was just reading what seventy seven reports in Texas seventy reports out of Texas. And of course, probably newly reported UFO's in the general area where that chaff was laid people telling me that they've seen UFO's in those areas. And of course, the Email. I got from the guy who said that they were trying to cover up. The fact that fleets of UFO's been flying over the United States. Yeah. I would be surprised if the military is deploying chaff to conceal the presence of UFO that I can't say it's impossible that I don't know that it would really do any good these UFO's appear to be able to travel so quickly and accelerate so quickly that if they don't want to be seen on radar. They can be out of the country certainly out of the county and the state in a matter of seconds. So I can't speak for the military. Neither one of us can of course. But it seems unlikely that the military would be doing that engaging in that kind of operation. Well, a lot of what I'm hearing sounds a lot like the Gatwick cases the second largest airport in England, and the Gatwick cases that they were sit somebody last December saw UFO about sixty people saw UFO, and then it turned into several drones. They were blocking aircraft and they had to shut the airport down for three days. However, people say we don't see any drones. But the authorities insisted that they were there. Nobody said they saw them only sixty people said they saw UFO and then from there it was drones from there. It was UFO's. And a lot of people say it's all on your magic nation for the authorities were swearing that. They saw something out there. Yeah. I heard that report, and it would have been the object had been ascribed to being a drone. But who knows once government employees get their hands on data available propensity for molding it into a form that they prefer. So it's hard for me to say as to whether they saw UFO, but it is it's not without precedent. Of course. Because of the O'Hare case in November of two thousand six where disc covered over gates seven teen for several minutes. Actually, it's not as though it was trying to conceal itself from the people on the ground. Yeah. I remember that when it was all over the news. In fact, they had a video on YouTube of the reporter at the call. He took before he was talking with the witness in. He was excited. He says the says all around the newsroom, he says, everybody's excited about this UFO because you know, there's no way we can refute it. It was actually a UFO that was seen it when it went into the clouds and cut. A hole into the clouds and left a blue spot. And and he was like really excited about it. Right. And it left a hole because it accelerated through solid overcast at a blistering pace. It could be seen directly above gate C seventeen. I think the crewmembers saw as well. They leaned out there side windows and looked up at it. And it accelerated so fast that punched through solid overcast leaving a hole for several seconds that people can see blue sky through very very interesting case. Yeah, that's that's amazing. And there have been a lot of cases that Tyler roadway is reported to pilots who've seen UFO's over New Mexico pilots over Oregon. It's just been you know, that's one of the reasons why I think that Harry Reid is lobbying so fast for information because I think pilots and military and others. Don't want to have any harassment.

And I think that she is. Introducing bold ideas that that Sabih discussed, and I think it's good for the party. If I think it's good for the country. Let's look at the bold ideas.
