"Vanessa. What you think of that. Wait hold on before you and I just wanted to ask Mark I know. What did you think of it? I love her bad ass attitude where she was just like this me. I don't care. She's a savage fourteen years old literally bossing on runs house. She just has the energy that she knows what she wants and she knows how to get it and she's going to do with her own way and I love that about her. Yeah because I don't have like that good for her that she found the self love and she did it the old fashioned way because I know a lot of people in her position. Don't yeah they go for the quick fix. That's true but you're talking about plastic surgery. I had surgery. What are you have boobs? Yeah but I feel like back in the early two thousand dollars. I do think you know getting a chance. You Yeah Yeah. Are you happy with your decision? Yeah absolutely yeah because I actually did always have big booty you always have the big booty and then I just needed to like yeah like I'm not GonNa lie. Had A knife to this face not a knife a needle I need. All of this fame bitch gets both ax. I know I'm sitting here doing that once a year. I don't do it very often but I don't mind it. I just mind when people go overboard. Yeah you can tell starts based starts to get shiny. It looks a little tot I haven't done it yet. I'm serious starting to consider a little something. We'll fill a little bow. Talk a little something interesting because I always go back to. I don't know if I would feel the same way if I had money. If I was rich right totally just aren't looking cat woman. All right everybody you know we like to keep it one hundred on just a sip and now that we have this g mail account open. What's a g mail account? Podcast just a SIP gmail.com. Y'All can shoot US questions over there. Vanessa will try our best yes to answer and help guide you guys through all of it can't promise it's going to be great advice. But we'll do. We'll do what we do what we can. Okay so Lawrence says the guy keeps dating scene and has dated all of my friends but not me. How do I get him to want to go out with me instead of my friends? Well Lauren. You don't want to date a guy who's dated all your friends. I say the same thing. Move on like the dude is only in a circle. That means he's not big enough for you. Yeah and if you wanted to date you like not to sound harsh but I feel like if you wanted today he would have made. It happened already. Ooh You know what I mean. He's moving around a circle. He's he's lazy. Yeah and look. How easy is that but you know what happens a lot in the gay community everyone kind of imposing the same dude? Oh now you wanna come to me because you've had all these nichols and now you want dime no. It doesn't happen that way and the minute I'm telling you this now the minute you show him that you don't want him he's GonNa come running to you tonight. Give in of course because all he wants. Is that win all right? So we agree. We both agree. She's she needs to move on. She needs to move on all right. Okay so Mikey what was is the key to having confidence like you. White laid evenness ahead. I love that you're now widely wwl answer grandma cash. You should totally start the thing I think it is. You just gotTa fake it until come yet for sure because let me be honest with you. I didn't really have confidence until I was in my late. Twenties is when I finally got it but I think in your early twenties. You're trying to figure everything out anyway and things aren't really making sense. You know to you. I was just so blessed that I had you know confident friends to be around and I was living. I was just living life at that time right and I knew I wasn't confident and I think I just went with this fake it until you make it kind of confidence this fo confidence and just kind of started rubbing off on me and now when I'm not confident about walking into a room I know hell you fake did for so many years. Walk into this room and fake it for five minutes. Give this presentation and walk the hell out for sure. That's how you gotTa do it. Everyone's always a little insecure. No matter what no matter what age you are it's whether or not people admit it. But everyone has their insecurities and you're not alone even people that are faking it. The best and you know what else? It is about your insecurities. It's knowing exactly what they are knowing. What triggers them knowing and identifying those things so when your insecurities get the best of you and you're starting to spiral you can say. Oh wait I know that this was the issue. I know this triggered it. Take a breath. Take a step back. Let me get away from this person because they are triggering this you just have to be aware of every single thing that may cause you to feel not your most confident self very closely all right. Jack. Oh I don't hurt my feelings. So how should I tell him that? He's a sloppy ratchet drunk and no one likes going clubbing with them You tell him. You're a sloppy ratchet. Drug and no one likes going clubbing with you. Just so you now. We have a group of friends and we always go to dinners and there's one friend who gets sloppy at dinner and there's always one friend that has to take care of said sloppy and so we paper rock scissors to see is going to be and we all take turns. That's just how it goes so you just know like you understand it but I think if you're still going clubbing that means you're young enough to tell somebody you're sloppy how your and it's fine and also what you need to do. This is also very interesting. I've done this before is taken video and then San Group chat and be like. Oh my God so much last night so they can be checked and then make check and then onesies themselves on video. That's when the embarrassment comes. Yeah and then they might be able to Get Their Jamie. I recently snooped at my boyfriend's phone and saw some messages that he wants to propose. Do I let him know I saw or should I just act surprise Dope Sufferers Jamie? Jixian Jamie Act surprised. Jamie ruined his moment. Jamie what you need to do. You need to go back to the sex in the city episodes in season four when Charlotte Meets Harry Gold and Black. And what happens is he says Allama Mary. You as soon as you become a Jew and then she becomes a Jew and then what happens is by the way. I'm Jewish. What happens if she takes a dip in the mic becomes a Jew and then she has first Seder and all of a sudden. She's like okay. You said when you know when I become a job and then this whole thing happens and then she gets crazy and own head engineer. What'd you do not be that girl? Now she has to wait. She cannot put the pressure on cannot put the expectation. You cannot cannot so you need to tell yourself that you don't tell exactly because you're going to be every time he says let's go to dinner every time he says light a candle disappointed. Maybe once you can't because he forwarded like I know right before I suppose going to trip with my with my now husband who ever all my friends were like. Oh I think he's GonNa Propose and I was like. It's your friends at work if he doesn't. I don't want to be disappointed. I don't want to think about. I want to go on this trip to Puerto Rico and enjoy myself. Let me just two peas and the two weeks before the trip so you. You just don't know what is going to just never no limits going to happen. Okay so tim wants to know my boyfriend and his. Bff always seemed to ignore me when we're all together and make me feel left out. Should I let my boyfriend? No or should I approach his. Bff about it. I would be passive aggressive. Yeah I like to be passive aggressive in those situations and make comments. Oh Wow I'm so happy you guys included me in this You know what I mean. It's like a joke. 'cause you passive aggressive. I don't like it. I hate when people are passive aggressive. But in this instance like if you guys are sleeping together and he's seeing you stuff that you have the right to passive aggressive and I also think he'd go to the boyfriend. Do not go to the friend. Yeah because then the friends go to the boyfriend and then it's going to become a thing if you really have issue you gotTa talk and You WanNa talk about it. Then you have to go to the boyfriend. Do not approach the friend do not tem do not approach the friend. Jaime I just WanNa make sure you hear me loud and clear Jamie circling back. Yes get it out of your head yeah you wait. Jamie you wait for that. Was it for.

"Used to you're putting in partner or whatever in the attacks that goes with it but the way the FTC is approaching missing piece of valuable content is that piece of content. The photo and that's what has to go. Yeah that's makes a lot of sense because for so long you've just had people over on their our website. Have this one page filled with all kinds of disclaimers but then yeah. They're not doing anything social posts so I can see how that is good that they're moving their only about fifteen years behind the time with that right on top of things. The family thing is interesting to me too. I wonder the first thing that comes to mind. This Kardashians all siblings some of these huge gigantic organizations. That seems to be the easy target. Are there any other angles on that. That they're trying to close. If you given any thought to that I mean there there are starting to venture into politics because there are certainly are Plenty of politicians who are using their office to obtain influence. But we'll stay away from that but the the the brochure is up on the FTC website. the other thing they want to they make a point of saying. Is that things like tags. Eggs likes pins et. CETERA are also endorsement. So if you're retweeting somebody or liking there brand stuff. They consider that an endorsement. Oh that's interesting. Yeah so if you're liking a brand that you're on the hook for that then if you're getting paid or you're trying to sell Yup yeah as long as you're getting something from it now they they do say if you have no relationship with the brand and you're just tell people you don't have to disclose that is really because there isn't one. It's only if you're getting something of value value from the brand that you have to disclose to like for example any of the SEO tools we talk about if we if we have a free account them that we have to disclose anything that we've gotten a free account account from and the and they're very big on making sure that you use sensible tax so they will say AD- advertisement sponsored partner are acceptable hashtags. Okay I got a link to an article call dedicated versus shared. Ip's just interesting stuff in their thing. That I had never thought of. I was always of the school of thought that if you have a shared. Ip That's just always bad news is because you have no idea you're sending through some provider and multiple customers on that platform are using the same ip address. So you're probably sending your wonderful charity ready for kids emails but the guy next to you is sending out his pills porn casino staff. And you'RE GONNA get abused in hit but the article says that will actually early. You need to be at around fifty thousand send to start getting a reputation if you send less than that you just don't even get a reputation and that's not as good as having a reputation so he's you're saying than certain situations you are better off having shared Ip but then of course once you cross that fifty k.. Threshold you just want to be on your own IP. Because you've got the volume there. But I thought that was interesting. The other point that he threw out that I had not thought about he was saying if your reputation gets damaged. It's actually a really bad mood to jump to another Ip address because that is what spammers do. Oh you know soon as polluted they jump to another. So even though you're having to take the hit and have a hole to dig out of you're still better off repairing the reputation that you've got if that's possible what you may not be possible for but if you can repair it as opposed to jumping because that will actually do less damage. I thought those were both interesting things. Is there anything else done. I P front that you've been watching keeping track of. That's not surprising to me. Because everything is algorithm based fifty thousand makes total sense when it comes to training model it makes. It makes logical uh-huh since I would say that one of the things that you may want to think about as a market if you're not at that fifty thousand cents a month this email market. We should be clear if you not at that point. You may want to partner up with another reputable organization to get to that volume You know certainly the what we do at the offices. We have a virtual server container container. But it's with US within the same IP range as my personal email newsletter so we get to piggyback that the timeline newsletters close to forty. Five thousand doesn't cents a week and but the trust newsletter is only like fifty six hundred cents a week so you never get to that fifty thousand minimum but we can you know when you combine the sends ends from the same location You you you benefits. Also I send everything out through Amazon s for both accounts and that kind the has the net effect of of being seen externally as one place. Yeah then another thing what was just smoothing out. The spikes most email service providers. There's have things that throttle this end and it was interesting. I hadn't thought of that if you have. If it's not time based stuff if you can stretch something out through a week now it just looks like normal commercial email. You know you have this kind of cadence of ongoing messages as opposed to just. You're not sending anything all week and then suddenly dropped seventy five thousand emails inside of an hour our obviously doing blasts where you can kind of get around that and make it look like more predictable traffic and better traffic by making sure. You're doing the the right kind of sent. Yeah that's something we talked about a this is going back to twenty ten. This is how far back were going beginning of the decade. One of the things that we talked about way back in the day was setting throttling within your email marketing software itself so that you can do proper testing proper analytics if you you have a list of at least sixteen thousand Which one hundred sixty thousand eight hundred? The what you want to send one hundred hour on the hour every every hour for a week one hundred sixty hours a week and what that will do is give you analytics on what are the actual days and times people. Read your email most because you'll be sending so regularly that you'll have a complete coverage of the whole week so if you're not doing this you do this at least once. Let's maybe once a quarter as long as your list is big enough as long as you get to that sixteen thousand because you WanNa be a sending about one hundred and our if you're not at that point yet where you're subscribership until you are once you get to that point. It's time to start looking at that type of assessment and it makes perfect sense then to that. Now you're all your emails going out in one nice smooth flow. Yeah that's great to do day parts and test it out and then if you really can get crazy if you've got time zone STU can start to think about that. And how that goes linked to an article you shared about out machine learning blackbox versus interpret ability. Just the fact that you're talking about models where because it's proprietary or because the math is just so complicated that humans. I can understand it. You have these models where you throw the data and something comes out and you you can have these situations where it's biased. We've talked about that a ton but that versus interpret ability coming up with models that where you do know what the criteria are and what the select SAR. It seems pretty common sense but I don't know for some reason there is. This thought that black boxes acceptable acceptable and can be used. And we've talked about that not being the case but just another thing for you to dig into it. Have you seen anything changing on that front. As far as our people finally getting getting away from the black box thing just because of all the disasters we've heard about so it's not the disasters. It is the risk mitigation side so so legal is getting involved saying hey you are at substantial risk unless you have the ability to explain essentially that you are not at fault and and that's really the AI. Community entity in general has been pushing us like to say that humans appropriately should be innocent until presumed until proven guilty in a court of law. We think it should be the other way. Round from machines. Machines should be presumed guilty until they can. We can prove innocence until he can prove that. The Algorithm is not discriminating or not doing something bad. And certainly you know the more reputable vendors out there like IBM like Google like Amazon to some degree are getting to that point now. There's still not a lot of work being done in terms of making models interpreted. Because of the cost is extremely computational inexpensive to make an interpretive model as opposed to explaining what happened happened afterwards and It's going to be a work in progress for a number of years but hopefully as compute power increases Continues to increase. It will be more accessible both all right. I've also some news. Google rolling out amp in the g mail mobile APPs e mails that are interactive that you can do more with will actually be supported now in the APP and I've got a link going to the playground where you can go in and throw code in there and it'll show you what it looks like the Mobile Platform C can play around with it and see how it goes just a quick link on that and also superbowl bowl ad selling out just a an interesting story. TV continuing to deliver on that front. Because you've got that unique event and I've got a copy of Simon cynics latest book. We're going to give that away for free because I have an extra one in the pile here. "I think to herself that this was really a kind of an average immediately the donations plunge boys there the Acer better way to tell about how the church is doing than watching the quarterly raising and low and spending money John it plunges I mean it was spectacular how how how fast it happened it happened right right away I think it was by a factor of three years so it is just a plunge this as an almost as if you could almost believe that all those praying societies that have been boasting of the heathen school suddenly stop talking about it entirely are tended they've never given money I think that's probably true some people will just wish the whole thing would go away as quickly as possible now the school responded let me say in a kind of divided way they they they felt it was a bad thing they they agreed that this was most unfortunate but they also claim that it was at the entirely special case of the circumstances were unlikely to be repeated ensure that it bad as it was it wouldn't it would never happen again so they sort of said to the country of the world at large you know give us another another chance and and it will go much better from here on let me introduce you to Ellie is to know who is John ridges cousin Cherokee Indian and the brave Harry gold who are the age well el al airlines food no worse was also young Cherokee man actually I think related at least remotely related to John ridge and and headed goal was the daughter of another important man in town the man who actually was very closely connected with the mission school to and so this was within a year of the ridge Northrop marriage suddenly what the school had promised would never happen again was in fact happening again here was another courtship would seem headed for marriage and the controversy just blew up all over again probably even worse than before for example hi it was a night when a sort of public meeting was held on the town green which turned into a kind of near riots a protest meeting they burned the effigy burned effigies of moving and hurried gold and also the mother of Sara Northrup who was somehow conceived to be behind this whole now they burn these refugees on the Tom green Harry Golder self was spirited away to a house and she watched the whole thing happening with horror but she remained steadfast in her loyalty her feelings for alliance and they too were married yes married in eighteen twenty six years the voice of Harry gold all these years hundreds of years later we have vowed and our vows are heard in heaven color is nothing to me his soul is as white as mine she plunges right into it she doesn't back off we've got now two couples in the Cherokee Nation and that he's in school is going on to its own fate why did what is what is to understand why ridge and builder no became in favor of of the transportation and not resistance well I want to say that for a few years they were on the other side they were defending the Cherokees right to remain where they were against all the pressure that was coming from the federal government and a lot of white people living around them in Georgia that that they should be removed ridge was back and forth to Washington negotiating with federal officials again and again as I say leading the resistance to the idea of removal but after several years well it was a kind of crucial point in fact it in which people may know about this is this is well we're talking about sort of the national stage as well as the local stage it was a crucial point at which the Supreme Court a rendered a decision in favor of the Cherokees and declaring that the idea of removing them was unconstitutional so it looked briefly is of the turkeys have won their case but then it became clear that the administration of Andrew Jackson was not going to enforce the court's decision and that removal would go forward no matter what and at that point ridge and booed no again in their positions now is made your leaders of the whole the whole Cherokee Nation decided to in effect to flip and they said well I think we've got to accept this after all and just to get the best terms we we can and for that they were greatly resented not to say vilified by many of their fellow Cherokees in fact the nation at that point became divided into a so called treaty party that was rich and now and their colleagues arguing for a treaty that would that would agree to removal versus the anti treaty party of the the the great majority of turkeys in fact who still oppose the idea of removal see that controversy turns into the trail of tears we know this at the end of the eighteen thirties and I regret to report if you will know that ridge John ridge our hero was murdered assassinated by a gang of the resistance and along with his father major ridge and Ellie is to know as well they all die and they all died in eighteen thirty nine I want to stay I want to stay with the heat in school John because you've traveled to the Cornwall Connecticut and you walk around you we walked in the north service house it's still there are the ghosts of region Bruno and Harriet and Sarah and jacket are they still in Carmel for me they certainly are still present there the fact that the buildings are still there not the school but the houses of both the room the Northrop and the gold family though those houses are still there and as just about as they were I think two hundred years ago definitely enabled me to see some goes it's very evocative I was actually in Cornwall just yesterday talking about my book and getting all kinds of noise vibration John there was one moment when you try to figure out the sick room in the Northrop house where Harriet aware Sarah would have sat with John did you did did we certainly found well let me say I'm ninety five percent certain there is a little alcove on the second floor it's clear what all the other rooms in the house were used for and to some extent still use for today but there's this little alkyl which I think today is actually a kind of laundry room for the people on the house but it seems to me that that had to be that was really the only space where this this this could have happened you put together an enormous amount of research here and congratulations to you but it was always there to be told is there an explanation why the the American board of missions or the alumni the descendants of the alumni have never celebrated to my knowledge the heat in school why there isn't a plaque or something like that well once the second of the inter marriages so called it happened the school was doomed I think and the sponsoring organization the board of commissioners for foreign missions in Boston felt that it should be closed as quickly as possible because it put the whole missionary project worldwide may be at risk so they shut it down as best they could within a few months or couple of maybe a year or two and I think basically they tried to suppress the memory of it and by the way they did draw one important conclusion from it affecting the future of the whole process missionary movement which was that from now on it's a much better idea that we should go to where they are where the heathen are instead of bringing them here into our own minutes where unforeseen and very unfortunate events like this kind of inter marriage might might happen I a John Deere most is the author of a wonderful new book the he's in school I mention that there's poetry here and this is the line I like more than any other about Sarah and John a poet whose admiring this marriage not opposing it she humanizes him and he educates her to liberty yeah it was an idea that Indians have a critically strong.

"At a high drive deep right center field. Do going back to the track at the wall, he pulls up and it is gone. A towering drive by Christian. Yelich homerun number seventeen on the season for yelich. That's the most in the league and the brewers strike first again. All right. So I'm trying to read Harper's mind and I'm saying to myself proper three hundred thirty million yelich make seven million and he's saying to himself. Wow. That guys get seventeen homers seven. Yeah. What is he worth is by the way later in the game yellow Chit is eighteen it's unreal that guy. Some weird, dude. He's not. He's what does he do, does it but many can hit the baseball? I mean Clapper's debate all started last year right about midway through the season. We're offering how great a hitter is he he's terrific. He's had shot at them too. I wanted him. I wanted badly. Wow. Gave him away. I thought man. Dumb with cheaters a moron. Well, and they didn't know what had that guy is phenomenal. We got. We ended up with real Muto who's good too. But that guy's insane. Anyways. I'm going. What's he thinking Harper got one for four struck out once really didn't move the needle much in the opposite? They lost eleven to three they lost three in a row. Now we were talking earlier that show at nine o'clock yesterday. We had Gabe Kaplan and house has been saying this and our really made a point of it yesterday. This is a different capital than last year. Different much more openly questioning things he's pushing harder on players. Right. I think he really whoever sat him down at the end of the last year that fail. Yeah, you just can't ever listens. He did he does. Listen. When, when they set the gave this, some things you did that annoyed the fans you will never honest. Yeah. You were to pollyanna doesn't work this that he actually listened. And after that throttling, three straight throttle leagues by Milwaukee, he came out and he didn't he didn't hedge. Reset. They just outplayed us from every from every angle, they pitch better. This one, the bats better. They played better defense. They made more pitches. They got more hits. It's that simple. They just they played us. He wouldn't have said that last you know, he would have found some Silverline. He didn't bother with that. He just said, wow. They beat us and then he said something intriguing and what he said next he did not further develop. We're going to need the help with this album looking to you for this, because I, I saw yesterday the way you the way you look through reas air duct system and air conditioning, the half hour and. Pence conversation. You had with her brother. I realized I have not fully employed, your analytic skills. Right. 'cause I have never seen a man look more closely at an air conditioning system that Mr. L unbelievable here. He goes he's now. Why don't I am asking you as a friend who apply that level of analysis to the Phillies could you do that? Yeah. They never took out the other system. We stop. Harry gold, Heiser anyway. So he is the comet, and I gotta figure out gave must have some idea what he's going to do here, but he basically offered us. The definition of insanity action steps have to come following a series like this. You can't just kind of sit on your hands and hope it's going to get better for the next series. You have to take action steps, and we'll do that action steps changes. Yeah. All right now, he already made the one little MOViN moving hopper up. One to number two in the order didn't really work. What's it talking about? What's he doing that? Sounds like a man about, you know, oversee a shakeup. Yeah, it does. But I do look at that lineup. I'm like, wow. Players. Good line PO people out during a game at Kyrie's. Not available. Correct. He's a triple, but he is getting clogged I'm sorry. So I guess that would be one thing, how you could work him in somewhere mmediately. Maybe second base, where Hernandez is playing the dumbest man. Listen, I just God, I don't know what happened if somebody removed his brain since last year. Just play dumb right now it may be. But now he's saying straight up. We can't keep doing this. We got to make some changes, and then he made it clear what he's talking about in, in. It's the right way to look at things when you have spent half a billion dollars in the off season you have made so many big additions to your team Jones. And then you compare yourself to the best teams like the brewers and you don't look very good. You're net going to compare yourself to the NFL because they stink. Now there's only one team land is one game over five hundred. These teams are not that great known what he's looking at the better teams, especially what's coming up on the schedule. Here's we set we have to play very good baseball to beat teams like no walkie Colorado in Chicago. We're just not gonna we don't have the margin for most teams, don't right when you go and you play the best teams in the league. If the play your best baseball, and we certainly didn't in this series that wasn't that wasn't good baseball for us. The only one love and Gabe right now. Well, he's got to step up. I mean he will pay for runaway and on paper he has one of the teams in baseball too. That's if that starts to fall on him if the team does not meet expectations. So here's a lot on the line right now. I realize it's all talk and I know I know what I'm experiencing right now. And I wanna share it to see if anybody's getting the same way I heard some of the most insulting garbage out of the mouth of Brett Brown this week. I mean garbage I've been fired all six years. I've been here. I watched him do a higher -able job of of coaching. The final minutes of game seven on Sunday. Jones, E am I making that are? No, he pitiful. In the early, and then they all adult did like he didn't. And then everybody was like, no and deserves to come common back and all this garbage, and then I hear gay whose teams in first place. Right. Tell me that this isn't good enough. And I'm going, I can't believe this because I was a big Brett Brown fan. I like gave more right now than I Brown. That's a big turnaround. Is that big? But it doesn't it. You heard what I heard right. Yeah. No. He said he's preaching accountability, which is what you want as a fan. You want your coach to make sure he gets his players to play to their potential. Jo I need you to address your your player on his team. And he makes a public statement action steps have to happen. Yeah. We have to make changes. Yes. If you're a player, what do you think you're waiting to see what those changes are, and most players know what they should be all players know what the changes should be unless they do the guy that's going to be changed, and you're in denial. Whatever he has been seen the, the players on that team, especially the veteran players that are being paid all the money. You know exactly what those changes should be. All right. Let's look at it tetris I'd never wanna see nap at the when I when I go to a game. And Andrew Knapp is playing I just said, well, we, we through one it's naptime. Right. Don't watch while real Muthu inevitable. First base bite thick second base needs to be addressed. Does that's the easy one. That's that's a, that's a conversation that not just fans or guys within that team will be having those conversations. That's those are I'm going to assume Hoskins. It'd be fine at first Hernandez. Maybe in trouble at second cigar, I love it shores very cigarette does everything. He's five Franco. He's got the best connect- contact rate on the team. He's on the race only striking out twelve percent of the time. I think I gotta leave now. Right. It's not him like it doesn't matter to me that he's a glaring hole. I can't stand. I wouldn't mind if they sat him down, just because his attitude doesn't fit the rest of the team. Intrigued by Gabes passionate defensive him yesterday. I understood it. All right. Here's what he did. If you missed it gave said yesterday as Oto Bill has the kind of body where it doesn't seem he's hustling, when he is that was a load of crap. I mean no one believes that he did go on to say, there are times when he lets this thing he lapses back to what he did before he did acknowledge. Yeah. And he said, when that happens he has to be talked to whether it's him or teammate, somebody's got to say we don't play that way anymore here. You can't do that. Right. Yeah. So we kind of acknowledged it as own wet, but I just don't like go Dougal others. Did I when I was at the ballpark is there are a lot of people would tell you, they level. I just I don't pay. I can't take your style. He's not my style of play. Hopper is although I must say out some point offers going to have to start making the money. He will. Now the numbers are just not there and you really get to see it when we yell at us on the same field. And you say yourself, wise you bar. That's, that's three hundred thirty million. Yeah. This is not three hundred thirty million seven. Home runs at this point in the season. So I got to open this up to you guys. Now, you gotta help me with this, and I want to start with those people I put in that building yesterday. If you were in our sweet, you must call us now later on in this hour, we are going to tackle a whole new spin on both. Joe Douglas, Douglas and Ben Simmons. Right. Because now the Joe Douglas thing man. Mike seal ski wrote a column, begging Joe to stay the hell out of the hell hole. That is the New York Jets I like a term dumpster fire. Yeah. That is what the New York Jets, and Ben Simmons, Kyle Neubeck buddy from Philly voice get really statistic. Mystically analyzed the impact that Liam, the brother of Len Simmons had on bent. It's not good. No, it's really not good. And he is still the shooting coach year to now. We're gonna makes a lot of sense. I got a wide open bought to that people. I need some Alpi here. Your number's eight eight eight seven to nine nine hundred ninety four what is gay pondering? What changes will he make? He said he cannot stay status quo. Demi thoughts on Ben and Jo Douglas. How do we keep maybe the best personnel mine, we've had in this town in generation, how do we.

But it's never what I want. Right. And I'm like, I'm gonna have to close I'm gonna gotta do Cosmi. Yeah. I just got it. I do it the play. Goes fucking, right. Because he sitting there, right? Yeah. We fly back plane. He's going to he's working the Hilton now headlining the Hilton same night. Yeah. Actually, I got back for the show in time. We made it by not a word. Not a word, and he was you know, coming up. He was one of my guys having enough shirt. And not a word. Never never forget it. Never forget it. You know, what what you know? I'm an apology. Never apologize. Yeah. Yeah. I think you know, especially right. Yeah. That was your point. No, actually, actually know this might be the time to do it. I don't know what's on your mind. Probably doing a lot of thinking. But I just wanna make an immense to longtime that night on the plane shut the fuck on. It was brutal. But like in all this time opening for people did you ever open for comics? In vegas. I opened for when I started out I opened in Atlantic City for Sinbad ones. But no never never comic. So how old you when Ray happens? I mean sees you've been you've even making a living to voice overs into Vegas and everything had a couple of failed shows that was on before Ray failed around you or John was built around me. And was what you do on that really not good. I played a single parent. Ironically, who was from Nebraska. Okay. They wouldn't. I said, you know, let's make it, you know, New York jersey or maybe Miami. You know, let's no, yeah. It's important from the midwest. Whether nothing reads it so they lightened by hair, and they put me in penny loafers swear to God. And it was a show on NBC that was on Saturday night. And I was a voice over impressionist. And yet that had my own agency is what? Yeah. I know. Ed by owed had agency. And they did the voices for the commercial. You know that thing Tom Sharpe was on it. It was really funny member Tom sharp new. Yeah. He did a lot of commercials Lada voice over stuff too. So he was in it and brandy gold who was Harry, gold's young little daughter played my daughter now, she's a giant successful agent. And so that was called first impressions lasted six weeks. Then that was on a show where I played a gala or one of the first gay characters really put out on time. And it was it was a really cool show called pursuit of happiness, and Larry Miller was on it, who's brilliant..

Southern California was my my grand dad's best friend, Lieutenant General Harry Goldsworthy hundred and four years old. Us every morning. He's one hundred four eighty listens. Like on an app, right? Yeah. He listens on an app, and he comments on our Facebook regularly. He'll be one hundred five in April. And he served with your dad with my Granddad with your okay? So yeah. With your so katie's Granddad is I've I've read his book twice. It's an incredible story. So this what's the guy's name in southern California. Lieutenant General Harry Goldsworthy actually, both of my grandfathers were in the military. This is the one you're talking about is my dad's dad, and then Lieutenant General Harry gold worthy was my mom's dad's best. Okay. Okay. Gotcha. So your your your dad's father? You know, there's there's a book about this guy. He wrote a book it's called MD POW, or is it WMD MVP POW. But this guy was in the Bataan March, and he was a medical doctor surgeon. Oh my gosh. His story how captured by the Japanese and they had him perform all of their medical needs. He was while he was captured. And I believe he was he was captured for forty eight months. Oh, yeah. Just an incredible unbelievable. How? You know, the the PTSD that he probably suffered in never spoke about, you know. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. And then he went on to be the surgeon of Eden hospital in Castro valley, sin amazing, isn't that? Just incredible. Harry Goldsworthy down down down south in southern California. One hundred four Mary, thanks for your service. Thanks for being a part of this audience. We appreciate you. We appreciate you. So we're reading stories this morning from medals of honor medal of honor recipients. And I want to share. I I was reading one. In many ways sergeant antibac- this is just an incredible guy. But he's a kid from Ohio joins the army and received the medal of ardor. You could obviously make a case that were it not for his bravery. That. We might not have liberated Italy. He was so key in an offensive that was so important to taking Rome. But Audie Murphy is served with sergeant antilock and Audie Murphy is also just a well known congressional medal of honor awardee, but he writes about the story he writes about the account in which sergeant Salah received his medal of honor. It's in his book called to Jala back. Just going to read it excerpt from the book because it's it's it's true to the actual story. If you we've read the story from the medal of honor account, but this is. This is one. This story. We read is very cut at the sanitized version. But this is from a guy who was there and whatever these medal of honor recipients receive their words these awards are given based upon eyewitness accounts. So there are many people who way into their eyewitness accounts in their maps and their details. And that's how they determine if the particular individuals worthy of the war. So here's Audie Murphy's. Description of what he saw quote, we roll over the wall and find ourselves in the range of two enemy strongpoints. So this is a wall adjacent a. A rail line. There's some train tracks. And it's just a crumbled wall that these guys were able to hide behind before they made their advance and their advance was over just completely flat ground just total targets. Right. We roll over the wall and find ourselves in the range of two enemy strongpoints. But for the moment, the crowds are ignoring us. They are absorbed in trying to split the two groups of men that preceded us. A sergeant in the first platoon senses, the predicament, if his mentor, I selected they will likely be destroyed. He makes his decision quickly. Now. This is sergeant adolescent he's describing motioning to his men to follow him. He rises and with a submachine gun charges head on towards what are the enemy positions. Two hundred yards away over the flat coverlet terrain. His body is a perfect target a blast of automatic fire knocks him down. He springs to his feet with bleeding shoulder and continues his charge the guns rattle. Again, he goes down fascinated we watch as he gets up for the third time and dashes straight into the enemy fire. The Germans through everything they have now they were using machine guns that were capable of six hundred rounds minute. The Germans throw everything they have at him. He falls to the earth. And then again, he pulls himself to his feet, and we see that his right arm is shattered, but wedging his gun under his left armpit. He continues firing and staggers forward. Ten horrify. Germans throw down their guns and yell camaraderie. That is all I see says Audie Murphy. But later, I learned that the sergeant ignoring the pleas of his man to get undercover and wait for medical attention charge. The second enemy strongpoint by sheer guts. He advanced sixty yards before being stopped by a final concentration of enemy fire. He reeled then tottered forward. Another few yards before falling inspired by his valor and half insane with rage. His men took over storm the crowd and placement captured it when they returned to their leader. He was dead. That's a he has nickname was let ski that's how let's key. The sergeant helped by the freedom that we cherish and abuse. That's Audie Murphy in the book to hell the back. Wow. Yeah. You think you're having a rough day here is Alex and Clovis, Alex. I understand you've had the honor of meeting some of these medal of honor recipients, thanks for joining us on ks Afo. Yeah. I was in in the navy at the time. I was stationed at Pearl Harbor. They were doing a special event for the. Sorry, you cut me going through Starbucks. Or I caught myself going through Starbucks. In any case. Shortly after my third deployment. I was offered. A chance to go work with these fine, gentlemen. Something that I can say amongst all of them because I was actually. Chaperone or of a short. The man who I was who I was working with. He actually died a few months later, and he was a. Medal of honor recipient from the from the Korean war is Rudy Hernandez and. And. She was probably one of the most humble individuals I've ever met and that can be set of all of those. Yeah. I've I've heard the same thing Alex that these guys are incredibly humble, they won't speak of their exploits unless they're specifically asked to and even then they're hesitant. It's it's it seems to be a common personality trait. Yeah. And these these men just went out there, and they were trying to help their buddies. That's all they did. They were trying to trying to save their buddies in the long story short. I'm I'm a sufferer PTSD I did for tourists in the Middle East. I. This weekend day is always very hard for me. But. I.
