"Stay in balance. Hey, what are some other things You suggest? Adding to your routine and to share a little bit more about why it is important to keep our senses and balance. Well, Jenny there What's so cool, vying to take a minute to describe the theory behind the daily routine is that there's the daily clock that we follow, where certain healthiest to do certain things that certain time based on what's going on in nature. Certain things happen at night because the sun is down and the body will soon be sleeping. Certain things happened in the morning. One of the most important details to the daily routine of that the body detoxify while we're asleep if you could get three hours after your left Kneel before you go to bed. Your stomach will be empty when you're asleep, and then it's like your digestive organs in sort of pole toxins out of the body. And then when we wake up in the morning, the body's ready for removal of those toxins. So one of the main things, it's like the first thing that we do when we get up in the morning is to scrape the Tom. This could be done with stainless steel. Copper tongue scraper was actually pretty easy to find these days. And just standing over the sink and scraping the generally a layer of mucus on the tone. We wake up Removing that from the body and see the scrape and flick it in the bank and rinse it down. And rather than that going that Those talks and going back into the stomach. When we began with our first tip of water, we take that away for with tongue scraping, and then we drink just hot water, which is just like cleaning the pipes. You know, if you're doing your additions, we always use hot water because it kind of clear the way like gunky stuff. So as the day goes on midday at the hottest time because the sun is at its Venus and the digestion, the digestive fire tends to be stronger, so a big part of the daily routine is to have some sort of a meal at midday. And then in the evening time It's the where I really wantto talk about the screen because I know that a lot of our lives have moved, like primarily online and people are on the screen all the time. And the screen is really stimulating. You know, for those senses. And I think it's important to power down before bedtime, and there's like a magic time. According to the movements of the elements in the cosmos at 10 PM, the body starts to shift from digesting information and food from the external world. It's the body shift around 10 PM into the internal factor of detoxification that we can power down and kind of come off of the screen close to 10 p.m. and be done eating food. I nearly 2 to 3 hours before that. So by seven or eight PM, just the simple things you know, like when we sleep when we have food, powering down, scraping the tongue in the morning. Those are like your most Basic and most helpful daily routines, and it's like you set your body up by doing these simple things to live sort of in tandem with the natural rhythms. So you're like you're capitalized on the fact of the body Naturally digest in the day and detoxify eyes at night, But those are a few great things too. Consider the tongue scraping if you that visual of you talking about you're biased working so hard while you're sleeping. T get rid of those toxins. So then you know, swallowed back down Fields, you know, feels like that to get rid of that first thing is such a great idea. And then the idea of of the biggest meal midday and then sort of shifting our clock a little bit to wind down potentially a little bit earlier. And to rise a little bit earlier. I wantto sort of stick with more sort of helpful tips to give people it has been very, very hot, at least if you're listening in New England Ah, this summer. So what are some ways you've mentioned about how important it is to sort of stay in rhythm with the season? What are some ways for folk Tio consider keeping themselves cool. The heat rises. So there's a lot of discussion in the iron beta text about keeping the head cool because he has that tendency to rise up into the back in the head, so taking care. This seems very simple, but is actually huge, taking care to keep the head covered when we go out in the sun and at midday, like having a hat? Is key and protecting the eyes by having some sort of brim on the hat or some sunglasses and also this kind of nearly Finishing a shower with a cool rent, especially letting the cool water beyond the head and on the back of the neck. Those are the places where that he tends to Conglomerate in the body, and it also can be really helpful. First thing in the morning to rinse the eyes with cool water, because the I do get hot and the more that we are on screen. And are taking in information through the eyes. The more important it is to keep them cool in the renting of the eyes in the morning and then the renting of the head and the back of the neck, especially with cool water. Those are again very simple things to do that aren't going to help the body man. It's the amount of heat that's going on. And in addition, as we already talked about Jenny, that coconut oil massage is a great way to actually Coconut, very cooling..

"This is your third cookbook. And while each of them sort of fall under the iron umbrella, they have very different components of them. Can you walk us through the progression from you know your original cookbook to this latest one? Regarding healthcare, Definitely that the first book is is the most basic one. The everyday I obeyed a cookbook, and it's a seasonal guys, so the recipes are divided by Stephen so that people can kind of it's really for people who aren't super into cooking necessarily. So everything is very simple and you can kind of like like live through a year of an iron Vedic diet by making all the full recipes and then moving into the winter. No. I wanted people to have like an experiential guide to move through the seasonal aspect of the science because the diet really does shift seasonally in order to support the changes that the climate is having on us. And then there's Really, you know, basics about like kitchen set up in the pantry and the basic staples of an aromatic diet. I wanted to get it get all that going on for people because the food and the digestion and diet are so important and then I realized like through as an iron vetted practitioner. I work with a lot of people, and I kept finding that the system of the mind was a big part of People difficulty like, for instance, when you you know that it's good to eat vegetables, but you don't you know you choose something else. So there's there's all this sort of chatter going on in the mind that I found it was making it difficult for people to make the right choices. You know that we're healthy for them, and in the second book is really unpacking. Like how IRA Veda views the mind. What's going on in there. And then there are certain foods that are known to increase mental activity and certain foods that can calm mental activities of the recipes are divided in that way. And then when I got to the third book, it was really time is less about cooking and more about the practices that iron Veda teaches herself care, which can also change based on your personal Constitution as well as the time of year, So it's like the whole book is really dedicated towards helping people understand which practices are going to be the best for them to help increase their immunity. And help them day strong and sort of move through an annual cycle, with less ups and downs, and a daily routine is something that is an important principle and I obeyed or we're going to talk about that will make come up in just a minute Things. I've been right a motorcycle for 52 years, I started having back pain that turned into the knee pain. I couldn't even sit on a motorcycle is like I have to give up writing bikes, kinds of permanent a lakeside..

"I'm Jenny Johnson. And we have a guest with us today who was with us? Probably about five or six months ago, Prior Teo the different worlds that we find ourselves living in, and she was on the show to discuss iron Beta, which is something that we're going to impact a little bit deeper. Today. Ken O'Donnell is an author. She's an eye robotic practitioner. She's an educator and an ashtanga yoga teacher. She has the rear made a cookbook, which include Thie every day IRA Veda cookbook, seasonal guys eating and living well. And then most recently, she's released every day Irby that guide to self care, Kate, It is so nice to have you here. I want to sort of continued by saying that she'd been nationally certified diabetic practitioner and the founder of the IRA Living Institute. She has spent a lot of time in India over the past. A couple of decades. So she teaches yoga, and she also specializes in Arabic education. She does cooking skills, cleansing programs online program immersion, you know, in in person and training and individual consultation. Her, you know, overarching goal is she described that Is the aim to help others come closer to their true natures. Okay, It's great to connect with you again. Thank you for being here. Thanks for having me Jenny. And first off. Congratulations on the launch of your most recent, but my husband happens to be an out there. So I know sort of the impact that goes in Teo. The process but also sort of the release of your your Setting it out into the world. So congratulations. Thank you. Yeah, great feeling And this is my first virtual book launch very, very different than the two before, And I know what we'll dive into a little bit about what to do for folks who are using digital means so much more than they have been before, But before we dive into the contents of the book And before we actually unpack the concept of iron beta of bitch. I love for you to share with listeners a little bit about your journey and some of those You know, pivotal experiences that have brought you to where you are today. Yeah, I was, You know, with the idea of going to India since I was a little girl. I grew up in New Hampshire. And I think I saw something on the news. And so when I was in college at University of New Hampshire, I joined a program that brought me over to India that teach English there. And it was there that I contract and all sorts of parasitic infections just from traveling all over the place and kind of eating all everything, whatever I wanted. That was how we ended up at the irony Tick doctor's office and I didn't really know anything about India's indigenous Medical system at the time. I just really needed help, and I was just pulled right into this system of health that had a lot to do with food. I'd love to do with diet and health care practices that I learned at such a young age, and it did all start because I spent probably a good 5 to 10 years just healing my digestive track. After having, um so so much. Go on. Down there and it was. It was that ability to heal and kind of become friends with food and really have a sense of like knowing what the right thing to eat ISS and knowing how to take care of myself that I learned all that so young, I feel really lucky. And it's just been like my personal modality for understanding the body and it's such a joy to share it with people and teach and most of my teaching. I started out teaching in Boston, and it was there was such a demand for it. You know, I felt like people so much wanted to talk about food and how it impact their health and the importance of digestion and detoxification and all. So it just has been Blowing up for me, you know for the past 15 years and started teaching Ah lot of those d words like the digestion and the detoxification are things we're going to uncover and a little bit. But for folks who are new to this system of health this concept ah, vier Beta. That is, is quite ancient, Can you Can you sort of give us the brief overview of how you describe it for somebody who's hearing it for the first time? Yeah, And it's funny because the text of iron beta are you know, it's like if you stack them on top of each other, like two feet tall, wears a ton of Internation, you know, and I describe it. US thousands of years of human trial and error of this information and codified Through iron age doctors of their May I call them jungle doctors. If you think back to ancient times, you know, using herbal medicines and just really observing Human being and how they're impacted by their environment and how they're impacted by different substances. Substances could be medicines that could be food. In your environment includes like your climate. It includes the kind of work that you do. Whether you what kind of sleep pattern you're on, so over the thousands of years all of theirs, like certain things about human being the human nature that remain true. Like where we know that human being sleep that night like it's healthier for us to go to bed with the sun goes down and wake up. When the sun comes up, it's just natural. There are a lot of things that that I relate A is reminding us that this this point in history just about the nature of being a human being and how we can feel like.
Biden, Harris Make Campaign Debut In Delaware
"On the national stage this afternoon as the Democratic choice for vice president. KCBS political reporter dug, Sovereign says Senator Harrison, former vice president, President Joe Biden introduced themselves as a ticket at a high school gym in Delaware. It was an awkward setup, Biden and Harris wearing black masks in a Wilmington gym, with no cheering throng of delirious supporters. Just their staff, Media and Secret Service. As the former vice president introduced the woman he hopes will be the next one. You're next vice president of States comma Harris Kamala Harris seemed a bit nervous and stiffer than usual issue, read a prepared text that wove her own campaign themes with Biden's, including a blistering attack on the policies and failures of the Trump administration. Let me tell you somebody who has presented my fair share of arguments in court. The case against Donald Trump and Mike Pence is open and shut there A said Barack Obama handed President Trump a great economy, but like everything else he's inherited. He drove it into the ground. Phew! Thank Joe Biden for entrusting her with his job, and she made sure to talk about her husband, Doug and their kids who called her step Mom allowed first, but that title has evolved. Since then. I've had a lot of titles of in my career. And certainly vice president will be great. But Mama Love will always be the one that means the most. Now it's on to the campaign and 83 day sprint. That'll see Harris crisscrossing battleground states making as many appearances as the pandemic will allow. She and Biden seek not just a victory, she said, but a mandate Doug Sovereign KCBS. Biden VP Search Narrows to Kamala Harris: Does She Want the Job?
"Democratic presidential nominee of Vice President Joe Biden could reportedly announced his pick for a running mate as soon as this week. California Senator Kamala Harris. API appears to be one of the leading candidates, but some are questioning if she AH wants to take the job or not for more key CBS News anchor Dan Mitchinson spoke with Carla Marinucci. Senior writer for Politico California playbook. Carla. What do you think? First of all, Do you think this could be Harris there? Even in the last days, Vegas betting circled at this point. Dan is being number one on Joe Biden's list. Who knows how that's gonna play out? But the fact is that Kamala Harris has been mentioned before. For other Possibilities in the administration, including attorney general, including possibly a nominee for the Supreme Court. Obama and during the Obama administration, she was reportedly asked if she wanted to be attorney general. She turned that down on the issue of the Supreme Court. She said She wanted to run for Senate at the time. But times have changed, And perhaps she might have changed her mind. She's getting advice from some Democrats that she might consider turning down the VP job because the attorney general job at this point could be more consequential. Willie Brown, who former San Francisco mayor said in his column on Sunday that he thought, uh, right right now, there's nobody left important than the vice president. I mean, as he said, Ask Mike Pence so that nobody thinks the vice president is a really influential job. But the attorney general, ah could have a long to do list ahead and that could include prosecuting Trump in the trump family law enforcement reform, Other issues related tio inspector generals and other things that the Trump administration has done and Democrats I think may be cheering that on, so we'll see how it plays out. But certainly Kamala Harris has a lot of different possibilities. But right now it looks like she may be at the top of the list or very close to it when it comes to Joe Biden, vice presidential nominee, But let me ask you this. I mean, Biden is gonna have a lot of California locked in the rest of the country, not necessarily a big fan of our state. Do you think a VP from here would hurt or help him then? That's been a debate Janet, But the fact is Kamala Harris has huge name recognition in the rest of the country. The You don't want the advice presidential nominee to do any harm. But in commonly Harrison's case, she could help in helping deliver some of those states where you need to rev up the Democratic base of progressive base. She had those followers right. She had a presidential campaign that brought her to all of those swing states. And so many voters know her out there more than some of the other women on the list. That doesn't mean, however, that people like Karen Bass, perhaps the House member from Los Angeles, Uh, Susan Rice, former ambassador and Tammy Duckworth's, uh, the senator from Illinois who is highly thought of this well couldn't be part of the mix as well. But how tough would this be for not only Biden but for Harris if she decides to run in four years if Biden's only in there for one or even in eight to move into the White House when we have a pandemic going on, and an economic recession? Yeah, you've actually hit on it and that some of the reasons why we've heard some doubts about Kamala Harris being mentioned the fact that she's ambitious. She clearly wants to run for president in some point And the go by in vice presidential nominee is in effect giving a leg up to whoever wants to do that It is effective primary in a way for the for the next presidential contest. Many Democrats would believe that that May hurt Joe Biden in some respects because they may want not wantto help. Comma. Harris is much when it comes to pushing legislation in Washington because they won't want to advance her chances. There's going to be a lot of Democrats who want to run for president, Uh, in 2024. So at this point, Yeah, Connell, Harris and her future plans and her future ambitions have all been part of the mix. It's why some Democrats say she may be the best choice for Joe Biden. Alright, Gotta run real quick. Will she be offered the the VP, And if she is, will she take it? He'll take it if she's offered, Will she be offered? That's the $1,000,000 question right now. That's Carla Marinucci, senior writer for political Oh California playbook.

The target shooting game immediately changes the mood among the executives. Maybe there could be a military application for bears toy after all soon, the suited executives are lining up to take potshots at the onscreen. Target. After the demonstration Bayern. Harrison stand in silence as the sanders associates executives confer I don't think the rightful gain will cut it for military training needs a lot more work if it's going to do that I agree agree but still it was fun. Wasn't it sure but we're not a toy company. Eventually. All eyes. Settle on Roydon Sanders Sanders strokes is mustache and then looks at bear This is interesting. Not sure what we can do with this thing, but I wanna see where it leads but fair next time I want to see something we can sell or license. Got It. Bear manages a smile. His project is still alive for now.
Trump Wants to Ban TikTok, NASA-SpaceX Mission Success, & Unemployment Benefits Expire - Monday, August 3rd
"It's Monday August third president trump wants to ban TIKTOK. Info on the NASA spacex mission success plus unemployment benefits have expired why trump's team is interested in Biden's VP pick and more. Welcome to Rob Song, podcast where I bring you the latest Progressive News and politics and ten minutes or less I'm Robert Cunningham thank you for tuning in. Let's get informed. So president trump announced on Friday night that he wants to ban Tiktok Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that trump would be making an announcement on these matters in the coming days he said this on Fox News Sunday morning futures where he also said that Tiktok, the Chinese owned short form video APP needs to be taken down via executive action in addition to Tiktok. Mike. POMPEO. Pointed to we chat, which is a Chinese messaging APP saying that both of these are feeding data directly to the. Chinese Communist Party quote for a long time a long time. The United States just said well goodness if we're having fun with it or if a company can make money off of it, we're going to permit that to happen president trump said enough going on the secretary of state added and we are going to fix it and so he will take action in the coming days with respect to a broad array of national security risks that are presented by software that connected to the Chinese Communist Party. Microsoft has emerged as wanting to potentially by all US operations of tiktok accents reports that trump does have a deal on his desk where Microsoft would lead acquisition of the US operations of six talk and Microsoft seems to believe that it's possible that a total separation can happen from tiktok parent company by Dance. It's important for you to understand that presidents normally can't just order a ban on individual companies like this but the fact that Tiktok has a foreign owner allows the Treasury Department to have broad. Authority over it. Now, at this point, it's unclear whether trump is going to allow Microsoft to buy it or if trump is just going to push for an all out ban, we don't know. But what we do know is that this is super weird coming just months before an election six does have one hundred, million US users, and so it is rather strange move it could alienate some I mean granted I don't know if it would make much of a difference, but it just seemed strange. NASA astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Bankin are safely on earth after a historic flight to and from the International Space Station provided by SPACEX Axios says on Saturday afternoon both astronaut splashdown into the Gulf of Mexico after about two forty, eight PM eastern time a space x vessel was able to recover both astronauts from their crew, dragon? Capsule. Hurley in bank in two month mission was the first time that people have been launched into orbit from the United States. The end of the space shuttle. Program in twenty eleven. This new move of partnering for Space Exploration, with private companies can allow NASA to act more of like a buyer instead of a provider of these services now and will free up NASA's budget to focus on things like getting people to the moon and eventually other planets in the future. In fact, NASA and SPACEX already have another trip planned this time for six months with multiple. NASA. Going up to the International Space Station, this will take place around late. September. So be on the lookout. Additional unemployment benefits of six hundred dollars per week expired on Friday July thirty first and reportedly the White House Senate. Republicans and Democrats are all know we're closer to a deal? Apparently, all sides are on board though for another twelve, hundred dollar check like was done with the cares act earlier this year the main point of disagreement is the additional unemployment benefits six hundred dollars extra. A month is what people have been receiving since the cares act was passed Democrats want to continue at that rate while Republicans want to. Bring that down to two hundred additional dollars per week while eventually moving holy to seventy percent of lost wages Republicans additionally wanted to get a one week extension on the six hundred dollars per week of additional benefits passed quickly. But the Democrats are refusing because they think that the Republicans are just GonNa. Use It as just a quick win and move on. But the Democrats are saying that they want a full robust bill. Now, the Democrats have proposed a three trillion dollar deal while the Republicans are looking to pass. A one trillion dollar deal, and as of yesterday junk Schumer the Senate Minority leader said that there were significant divisions remaining but good progress is being made quote. We made good progress. There are lots of things we are still divided on and we're not close to an agreement yet, but we are making good progress and I'm hopeful that we can get to an agreement. Now they're going to resume talks today. Okay. But do not be fooled. The Republicans are trying to place the onus here on Democrats but Democrats came. Up with a bill back in May the bill back in May like I said had a three trillion dollar price tag. It was approved by the House but then has not been voted on in the Senate and Senate Republicans want to have a one trillion dollar bill that does not do nearly enough in my opinion. So but as of right now you know who's GonNa Suffer America, the American people that are unemployed we just had on Thursday. One of the worse GDP records for quarter ever if not the worst. The percentage of GDP lost was close to thirty three percent. I hope we get a deal soon things are super hard to pass in Washington obviously, and I'm glad that the Democrats are sticking their feet in and trying to get this thing passed the Democrats are not perfect and I fear that they're going to cave too much here. But we've got to get something done because there is an eviction crisis looming we need to renew the moratorium on fictions. Now CNBC just posted a study recently that twenty two to fifty nine percent depending on the state that you live in of renters may be facing eviction as a result of the corona virus economic circumstances these numbers are horrifying and I'm sure this isn't the last time you'll be hearing about it. Trump's campaign paused ads over the weekend, which is really weird because they wanted to rebrand their messaging and new ads launching today are going to be depicting Joe Biden as a puppet of the radical left. This comes from two senior campaign officials but the most recent internal polls show that the puppet of the left's attack on Biden is going to resonate with voters and speaking personally in someone who lives in a very heavy trump territory. The this is the talking point that I've heard Oh Biden's not the problem it's. Going to be the VP you have to look out for as if Kamla Harrison. Some sort of crazy radical assuming he chooses someone like her speaking of the VP spot trump's campaign is very interested in that because the quote unquote radical left thing that they're going to be using their ads is a placeholder for whoever Joe Biden ends up picking. By the way, we will learn who Joe Biden is going to pick around on tenth multiple sources have suggested he said now he pushed back his self imposed deadline from. The first week of August to the second week and one source has said that it's going to be August tenth now. So be on the lookout here. No matter who Joe Biden picks. I think that Joe Biden is well-positioned. Of course, we all have to go out and vote that. This is not a matter of that we have to vote even if we live in California or Massachusetts or Oklahoma Even for God's sake, we have to vote for Joe Biden, but it doesn't really matter as much who he picks. Think this go around because trump's campaign is reportedly very upset that Biden doesn't have the unfavorability rating that Hillary Clinton did in two, thousand, sixteen, all of this trump at drama gotta be Biden's campaign to respond Andrew Bates. National Amelia Earhart Day with Wade Roush
"Hey Paul it's weighed rouch. So July twenty fourth is National Amelia Earhart Day and I guess what I'm curious about is how Amelia herself would feel about the way she's remember today I mean it seems like she's famous mostly for disappearing into thin air and only secondarily for being the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic which all seems Kinda backward to me. On the other hand, she's seen increasingly as a feminist icon which seems like might please her. So I'm just curious how historians and biographers think earhart would have regarded her own fame. Thanks. Wade given that I've never been confused for an historian. I'm one of those people that thinks about Erhard the way you've described above. So it's nice to be given a little nudge of history and hopefully I can return the favor. For my first recommendation, I, found a podcast called. Erhard which hopes to shed some more light on Earhart by interviewing guests. In this episode, they interview Abigail Harrison who is commonly known as astronaut. Abby. As part of the interview, Abby Talks about how a millionaire heart is an inspiration. They also talk about the marsh. And stem as well as our work as an aspiring actress not. Today's guest is weighed Roche host of the soonest podcast which helps us understand were technology come from and how we decide to start or stop using it. It's that understanding that allows us to be more intentional about the kind of future were building together. Soon Ish covers a lot of ground from bridges to virtual reality to the voting process. One episode that struck me though was way talking about quitting facebook, which is something I grapple with constantly On the episodes page description we'd outlines multiple years were facebook failed us and he finally had enough. Here in twenty twenty facebook continues to fail enlarge ways and I wish some of the tech support groups that I am a member of would find another service. So I could get off facebook myself. For last recommendation wait went above and beyond he's given three podcast recommendations and a youtube channel that are about the weird byways and. In no particular order they are. The. Constant. The right stuff the wrong way. Ninety nine percents, invisible gander international airport. Should this exist boom the return of supersonic flight. And Amy Sheera. Titles Youtube Channel VINCA space. A link to all of them will be in the show notes. For today's extra hot sauce. I just WanNa add that Wade is one of the creators of the Boston based podcast collective called hub-and-spoke. If you've been listening to this podcast since the beginning you'll know that Charles Gustin was my second guest ever who was the host of ICONOGRAPHY, which is part of hub and spoke.

Tom Hanks goes to war (again) in the World War II drama
"19. So many of these big blockbuster movies are now going to be available on your TV as opposed to the movie theater, and this one was for the movie. Industry for the movie studios. This one must have been right on the line. Richard Roper, the new Tom Hanks movie Greyhound Big budget, lots of special effects. It's a World War two. Venture film right and they chose. They chose to go with Apple TV plus to release it. Exactly right. In fact, you know the beginning of this year way back in the day when we were going to movies in theatres I talked about this is one of the most highly anticipated films of the year because, as you mentioned it's a Tom Hanks film. And who has Dunmore in terms of entertainment movies and miniseries for World War two that Tom Hanks of her Saving Private Ryan and then band of brothers in the Pacific and Greyhound. He wrote this and actually stars in this row. And although it's not based on a true story, it's actually based on a novel. It's inspired by the very real events of the Battle of the Battle of Atlanta. Sick, which you know was waged on the Atlantic Ocean was longest running battle in all of World War two. And it was all about convoys of allied ships trying to get supplies across the pond, while German u boats were attacking from all ends. That's what this movie is all about. Now. The invention. Tom Hanks connection to war, too. And the press junket for the release of this film, So the people obviously they go out. They publicized All They want to talk to you about its Corona virus, right? Yeah, it's just tell your side of the times. Well and, of course, because Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, were among the very, very first public figures to test positive. I believe you could correctly. I believe they're in Australia make making a movie. So, you know, I understand that and Tom Hanks has got such a no, he has. He has earned a role as more than just an actor, writer director producer. He's someone who's been around for a long time, but involved in a lot of things very intelligent and Educated guy when it comes to current events, so people do want to hear from him Now. The unfortunate part about all of this row is that Greyhound is not a great movie. In fact, I'm giving it to and 1/2 stars for the biggest disappointment. And I'll tell you why you remember. A few months ago we talked to Harrison Ford, who had done a movie called Call of the Wild or the Procedure. I he talked about how in a lot of these battle movies, war movies. They overdo it with the CG, and he actually said member, he actually said there are too many bleeping planes in the sky in a lot of these movies, and that's exactly unfortunately, what happens here. They did film some of this aboard a ship, I believe was the Canadian ship. But mostly it's CG Iroh, and it's very obvious that it is because you know the swooping cameras. It's almost like a Michael Bay movie. And so many planes in the sky and so many ships, etc. And so great special effects and then a lot of technical jargon. The problem is, we don't get to know any of the other characters other than the Tom Hanks character, and we got Haven't we don't know what we talked about the great War movies and you and I have talked about a lot of them. We did a podcast around Memorial Day about some of the great American War films. We get to know the characters first, we're emotionally invested in them, and then if something happens to one of them, or there's heroics or tragedy, it has an impact in this movie. All the characters are so superficially drawn that at one point, but Tom Hankscharacter asked a guy on the ship. He gets his name wrong and goes. I'm sorry, I'm still learning who everybody else's. And I'm like we are, too and that's never a good thing in a movie like this. Wow. Oh, that's That is so disappointing. When does it I'm still gonna watch. When does it premiere tonight? Or tomorrow? Tomorrow? And I will say this, too. I do think it might look better on the big screen. You know, maybe those special effects on a giant screen they either could've been magnified or they would have played better. He watching it in a home viewing environment. It just took me out of the film like I'm saying, Well, they clearly did this with computer generated stuff, and I think they just fell in love with the

"Harrison and he's got the rings to prove dan schwartzman pro does alive together they're unstoppable this is deeply on nbc sports radio football night in america is rodney harrison dan schwartzman starts right now hour number two to safety blitz coming up later this hour we'll get to the questions that you've all been sending to rodney all week long twitter handle at rodney underscore harrison some good ones this week rodney will answer those a bit later on but new rules in the nfl and finally rodney it looks like david dressed what's a catch what's not a catch they've made it kind of a simple three step process as to making or determining guess what a catches and what's not a catch and that is that you know you have to make a football move you take the two steps you have possession and that's it rodney how's it after the game of football played like a hundred years we finally have more clarity now as to what is and what isn't a catch while i think the thing is just read it it says once you catch the ball and even if you go to the ground in the ball moves slightly before under the old rule that would have been an incomplete pass but now they're saying it's a catch and it is is simplified i mean the dez bryant cats calvin johnson and even the kid not jesse james yeah jesse james pittsburgh steelers all those would have been deemed catches so now it's a little simpler but i mean look at all the time we wasted look at all the big plays what if those plays would have been enforce as catches it would have changed the course of possibly who's in the super bowl all these different things so man it was disappointing that it took such a long time.

"Like okay i got my needs met now let me move on with my day right so that's what intuitive eating has alternately about is having food be something that gives you pleasure and joy and helps you meet your needs but ultimately just move about your day you know move on with your life like eat so that you can go do other better things and sometimes eating is part of the great staff right sometimes eating is delicious annan experience and really pleasurable and sometimes it's super boring and how hominids like all right i'm just gonna eat the sandwich on my desk and then get back to work because i'm actually really interested in this work or i'm going to go out with his friend and have this dish that i'm not really a huge fan of a play like they want to go to a rahman shop this is true for me i love noodles in general but i'm not huge fan of ramadan no why salih about like noodles in abroad fish is hard to eat and i get messy and stuff so i have friends who are obsessed with roman right if someone suggests the rahman restaurant and they're like who i really want to check out this new rahman placer i'm writing about it you know i wanna like a friend come with me to review at or something like that and make sure totally i'll do that that sounds like fun even though i'm not the biggest fan of rahman ray so there's times in your life when food is just going to be hull hammer you're gonna make compromises it's not going to be the best possible experience right but like it's all of it a good relationship with food is all of it what a good relationship with food is not is judging yourself for eating as much as you want at any given occasion because then that's taking away the real permission and the real ability to trust that you can have as much as you want and get your needs matt consistently so i hope that helps answer question i know it's kind of just food for thought but i think investigate what of that rings true for you and see what you come up with so for everyone listening if you want to submit your own question you can go to chrissy harrison dot com slash questions as christie harrison dot com slash questions for a chance to have yours answered on an upcoming episode and if you want to get some more advice from me congrats.
