How to Invest: Meaning and the 3 Circles
"How to invest meaning and the three circles by Phil town of rule one investing dot com. Investing for beginners. Circle of competence. The most important thing. I can tell you about becoming a great investor is to focus on your circle of competence. What that means is that area of the world that you live in that, you actually know quite a lot about for most beginning investors. We sort of think we don't know anything about anything I know I certainly felt like that when I started off. But in fact, my teacher told me to start by looking for meaning in each investment. Invest in a business that means something to you. Try to buy businesses that really mean something to you to start with, I have to find out more about me. What actually means something to me what do I actually know something about To figure it out I, want to look at the three circles exercise. Choose Industries you're interested in. What we're doing is loading in industries where we already have a lot of knowledge I'm pretty good at computer software and services as well as Internet hardware, real estate, stuff, clothing, personal items, automotive, and getting those off of this list. If I see things that I made really already know quite a lot about like, let's say leisure and media recreation entertainment hobbies. I just read the description and you can see some of the stocks are in. That category, for example, storm and Ruger and company they make guns and I like guns. So I'm adding Leisure and media to my list. Now, we'll see that leisure and media is on my list and I'm on to the next part of the three circles, which is talent circle to add to that. So you go through each of these circles and simply save and continue by putting on items that you know you already know a lot about. How to choose a business? That is right for you? The first one is passions. The second one is talent. What are you really talented at? What do you know a lot about what can you be world class at and the third one is where you spend your money. So you start to look for things that are in all three of these save them and the program will go out and find industries that matched the talent passions and money circles that you already put up. Now you can see this has come up with a pretty darn good list so it started. OFF THAT I wasn't sure I'd have any companies I might know anything about and it turns out. There are many many companies that I know a lot about for example, let's go over and look at recreational vehicles that sounds like something I might know a bit about what I get is a list of all the companies that are in the recreational vehicle industry group. You can see it's got Harley Davidson and they make motorcycles polaris makes no machines and four wheelers Arctic cat make snow machines winnebago makes those big Winnebago's right. I already know something about these companies. These are companies that I have some connection with in my life. Why we care about understanding a business. So. Why do we care about understanding the business? Well, in one if we buy one share of a company, it's as if we bought the entire company when I buy one share of something I, feel like I own the entire business. Investing, tip the my rule. One Way to think about this is that imagine that my uncle gave me a billion dollars to go out and buy a company with. But the rules were that only get to by one company and that company would be the only way I, make money the whole rest of my life, and if that company went under I would have to live on welfare. So I by every company that I look at it as if it's the only company, my uncle will let me by this is a great rule. You should think about it, I, call it my uncle rule. Investing tip the ten ten rule. I also have what's called a ten ten rule. It says, I'm not going to own a company for ten minutes unless I'm willing to own it for ten years. So if I'm going to buy a company and be willing to own it for ten years, he'd better be something I like and matches my value systems I'm passionate about it I. Love It. I'm talented at it and I spend my money in it. Conclusion. Those are the things that make me connect to my investments and the more I connect with my investments the more I own it as if I owned the whole business, the more I understand the meaning of the business, the better investor I'm going to be.

Now, the book is out and everyone loves the book and she's been on every other podcast. Since we worked together I I said, you need to be back on Latino rebels radio. Not. Only because. You know we work at full Doodo media. OR WE CO host an in the thick podcast. But. Because we're friends and we're family so. Here's money a wholesale on Latino rebels radio talking about. Book. Once I. was you. Maria. This is the fifth fourth or fifth time I've had you on some form of Latino rebels whether it's radio or streaming. So. You're quickly becoming quickly becoming enough Latino rebel. He knew I knew I. Knew About Latino rebels before I knew about you know crazy. No but listen I, know it's been. It's been such a historic week for you. With the book launch, and then you're on Lulu Garcia now audio and we're doing it in the thick, and then the Lou Garcia now laterals interview shows up on Latino USA and you're doing all this promotion. AT OPRAH DOT COM YEAH OPRAH DOT com, and then you got these amazing reviews and and it's I'm an you know you're like. It's crazy what's happening but I wanted to just have a conversation you and I with no like the book will come out of this conversation but I'm not going to be like Maria tell me about your book you know what I mean. Like I, want I want us to be like just you and me. TO GIVE PEOPLE SORT OF A. I don't know like a feel of what we do behind the scenes a little bit I mean there's a little bit of crazy that has to happen when you're like I'm in a launch, my own company or I'm GonNa Launch, you know something like letting rebels and I'm just going to do it and I'm Elliot died. So there's a of you know. For one way or another for one reason or another jumping off a cliff and just being like but we got this in one and so I feel like food thorough and Latino rebels and everything that you know in the fake and everything that has come as a result is really because we have nothing to lose Indian this you know that we had. People are like what am I ain't got none your so it's like I. Mean I have a lot but I'm just saying like A. doodle I didn't have. My own company and I was like. How scary was that house like we've talked about this but how scary was that moment for you because you talk about it in the book but you. Know I talk about it in the book because there's it's a very important moment because what you gotta get the book to really get all the juicy details but they. Don't reveal too much. Basically I'm told by a very important network show. That that I should like, take a hike and comeback. When some of the white guys had died and I was an I get into the subway and I'm crying Hulu I'm crying in the subway I'm alone I think that there's a real understanding of you know. We are psychic psychically and in many ways tied to our family but we're also very deeply existential. Alone I'm sorry. I go there. You know it's just like we stomas Finale Quintas sister solo or in says, I got home I called my sister and I said Britain. I said, I cannot go on unemployment. I've never gone on unemployment and I don't have a job. And very immigrant t very Mexican. The I was like I can't. I cannot tell my father that I went on unemployment and so people. Who See your brightness your star, your shot they see it from afar. You have a hard time seeing it yourself. You know this often happens to us and people had said why don't you do your own thing deepa Sunday that you're of our board was like do your own thing I was like this look what are you talking about? What my own thing and at that point you know somebody else had said I'll help you and so then I just said. All right. Well, let's do this and we had no assurance. We had no funding. We had nothing we drew up some paperwork. and. You start it in your in your in your apartment in my apartment. In Harley, actually I ended up I. my first office was exactly in the area of the apartment where I ended up finishing writing the book because we had to rearrange the apartment. You know we live in New York we don't. We don't have like a huge apartment so. GotTa move some things are actually the altar had to be moved the friend had. And the kids were still I mean, your kids were still kids I. Mean I know they're older now but you're talking we're talking ten years ago. Yeah yeah, Yeah Yeah they earn motherhood you were in the well, you know we'll. Yes. Although I think that's an ongoing conversation honestly, and the book is in inspiring these conversations in my own family, right? which is so where was mom? Where was she was she here where she present? Did she feel present? Did she give us what we need? So those are ongoing conversations especially because right now while I'm getting a lot of attention for the book this time also when I have to be giving attention to my family, there's always that balance and I think that's part of what the message of the book is. Is a psycho Saddiqi. Oh, you have it all you can have many things, but you're going to have to work at them and it's going to mean sacrifice and risk anyway to answer your question will you he was a very scary time I was so scared, I had no idea what to expect.

Summerfest announces new three-weekend format for 2021
"New announcement. About what Summer fest 2021 is going to look like and we're joined right now. In the first Midwest Bank hotline by summer fest, CEO Don Smiley, Don. Good Afternoon. Good afternoon, Jeff. How are you? I am Well, thank you. Okay, Let's talk about the big news. What Summer fest. 2021 is going to look like and then we'll kind of explore why That decision was made, but so what? It's gonna look like Sure we're we're changing the festival format. The three weekends versus 11 days, so we'll start on June 24th and work 24 25 26. July, 123 and July 89 10. We will eliminate two Sundays, two Wednesdays and a Tuesday. That's five days. So what the essence of this is and and what we discovered through? Surveys and focus groups in in in in and data mining was that our customers want Mohr national bands. Earlier in the day. Can so We're going to take the expenses from those five days that I just gave to you and we're going to reallocate them to the weekends. Where will have local bands up early, but well, you you can picture a national band. Being on the Harley stage or the Miller stage at 5 P.m. and then another headliner at nine or 10 o'clock that evening, so it's an effort to go after more quality. Versus quantity and really fish. When the fish are biting, more people are more apt to be out on the weekends. Thursday, Friday Saturday with disposable income And And in using their energy entertainment dollars on those days versus the five days that I gave you, which, really when it came right down to it, they were really weak and that is W e a K. There were weak days for us, and we were spending a lot of money to produce those days and our money can be better spent in reallocating tow three weekends done. This is just in some ways respects. The logical progression in number means. Summer fest originally was always Thursday through Sunday, 11 days and a number of years ago. You made the decision. To to drop that first Monday because of a variety of things, including, I think week attendant, So this is really just kind of a logical progression of that I would imagine. It is. I mean, you know when you look at Theaters and restaurants and so on. I mean, you find a lot of businesses closed on Mondays. But when you're running a music festival The expenses are are are significant and Whatever you can. Maximize those dollars on different days. We concluded that that's the way to go. Even though it's too less days we're gonna have we're gonna have better bands and we're gonna have the bands that our customers our fans are looking for is still at a very affordable price. We're still gonna have free gated missions. We're still gonna have promotion days. We're still gonna have Children's fast day. It's such a It's such so none of that's going to change. We're just going to camp up. No pun intended thie the quality of the of the bands that we signed and on top of that on the fringes. If you will, pre summer fest in post summer fast, we're going to do a lot of shows in the American family insurance amphitheater in the beam, O'Hare's Pavilion will probably do more shows. And those two buildings that in the history of the festival So there's going to be a lot of activity in that building. It was too bad we couldn't use it the summer Ah, it turned out beautiful. And I'm referring to the reconstruction of the amphitheater. So and I know we're not alone there. I mean, you know everyone's hurting, and that includes sports and in restaurants and businesses alike. We understand that, but we had it. We have a scheduled board meeting this morning. We went through all of this. It was a unanimous decision. And so while we do understand that there are Maur. Important things going on in our world today and in people's lives have changed because of coded and also social unrest. This is just one of those things that we had to get out there and get on with it for the planning of 21, Don't just so I'm clear that this is not a one off plan for 2021. This is this is the plan for Summer fest moving forward is that correct? We'll see. I mean, I'm not going to sit here and tell you that You know that This is a perfect plan. And if if it works if all of the data That we considered in making this decision plays out. Well, then it will be a nine day festival going forward. I mean, you know who's to say that there isn't a show on Wednesday night prior to the opening Thursday, and who's to say this might turn into a 10 Day festival? I mean, you know, everything changed with Kobe. Everyone's life has changed their personal life, their social life. All businesses have been affected. And and and we're not on an island here, so we really believe that we have to be flexible. We have to be creative. We have to be able to pivot when when it's necessary, and that's exactly what we're doing. We lost $10.4 million in 2020. That's Before depreciation by not operating summer fest or any other shows down here or the ethnic festivals, So that's quite a mountain to climb. To try to make that money back and start replenishing our reserves again after we put $10 million of our own money into the amphitheatre, which was a $51 million project, so You know, I have, really, I really couldn't tell you what the future holds. I can tell you exactly what 21 is planned for, And if for some reason we run into a fork in the road In 21. Well, then we'll make a decision. At that time when you mentioned the ethnic festivals. Does this new schedule for summer fest proper, have any Will it have any impact on any of the ethnic festivals and they're scheduling No. The ethnic festivals would have the same dates as they would have had in 20 Got it. One of the other things in your announcement today for the nine days of summer fest. It looks like eight of the days are already booked for the amphitheater, and it looks like you've got just a a killer lineup coming there. I can give them to you if you're interested. Sure. Okay. On June 24 we have Khalid 25 is Luke Bryan 26 is Justin Bieber. July 1st Dave Matthews. The second is blank. 1 82. The third is Halsey. The eighth is Stapleton and the 10th his guns and roses. So we have one day to fill July 9th. Actually, it's filled but we can announce it. Yes, and we have some other shows sprinkled in around those dates. Already. So I think that's one of the things that people need to recognize as well and in part because of the partnership you have with with live nation now, the summer fest grounds. There's even outside the parameters of the run of summer fest that the summer fest grounds we're going to be utilized, probably more than ever in 2021 with big shows, right? Yes, sir. That was a great deal We did with the Frank Brothers, which is the live nation partner here in Wisconsin and That will provide more more shows more opportunities it required. Um, the reconstruction of the amphitheater. If we didn't do that, we wouldn't be any more shows And you know, there are some shows that we won't get there. Some shows that just play that, you know, they just want to play indoors and will will not get a shot of those. And There's plenty of venues in town for for those bands to play indoors and then and then we're going to get a shot at at bands that want to play amphitheaters. So we feel like we're in good shape. They're in and we're set up for the future, and I'm sure there's going to be some traditionalists who look at this and say, I really I really missed that Tuesday's show or I can't believe they're doing away with opening day Wednesday, but This is kind of a new reality that you're dealing with in a festival. Look, Let's just, you know, get this out of the way. I mean, we know we're not going to get all the votes and we know that there will be you know, there will be some that don't agree, but you know, we're going off a day out of I, You know, everyone's entitled to their own opinion. I love that. I think that's passion. That's like arguing who should hit second or third and play right field or second base. I mean, if they're not talking about you, I mean, then you really have a problem. So You know, everyone's entitled to their own opinion. We're just going on the facts. We know what our attendance is going back. Years. Um For Thursday, Friday Saturday and we know what kind of revenue we do on those days and we know exactly what the expenses are so for us to set this up. And get it ready for future generations and replenish our reserve funds. This is the move that we need to make. Got it done. Smiley Summer fest CEO. Thanks so much for spending some time with me this afternoon. I always appreciate it.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is self-explanatory
"Suicide Squad kill the justice. League is about the suicide squad trying to kill the Justice League. The other big video game news from D., C. Fan Dome was learning a lot more about suicide squad kill the Justice League from rock steady games the developer of Arkham asylum city night. Suicide Squad kill the Justice League is officially its title and game is about the suicide squad trying to kill the Justice League the trailer for the game opened up on a decimated metropolis. There was a weird glowing giant purple skull ship in the distance and it cuts to Harley Quinn on a rooftop goofing off and making jokes in response to just the General Radio Chatter. Then the rest of the suicide squad was revealed along with Harley Quinn. This game will also feature Captain Boomerang with a pretty intense Australian. Dead Shot and King Shark they had some comedic banter making fun of dead shot for claiming he never misses well King Shark absent mindedly popped green lantern and Batman balloons, which is interesting to me because there have been side quests about popping balloons in the past arkham games. And then Amanda Waller came on the line telling them they had to get to work or she would blow them up. Was All pre rendered but the next part of the trailer gave a pretty good idea of what to expect in terms of Gameplay Harley Quinn zipped around using some kind of Hook Shot zip-line thing and used her bat mainly to attack these weird purple enemies. King Shark looked slow but carried a big machine gun dead shot had a jet pack did a lot of shooting and Captain Boomerang had some kind of quick teleporting ability while he was also throwing boomerangs and other weapons. And all of this happened while outkast's B O b bombs over Baghdad played on top of it. After finishing off the group, they quipped that what they did probably will knock a few years off the sentence and then Harley remembered that there was an Alpha target they needed to pursue. And that's when Superman showed up with his classic Yellow Belt and red. Underwear look. At first, it seemed like he saved a helicopter pilot from a crash, but then his eyes start glowing purple and he killed the pilot prompting these suicide squad to realize they are meant to kill the Justice League, the trailer ended with. Superman. Not really reacting to getting hit in the head with some kind of pipe that guess King Shark through and it revealed a twenty twenty to release window for playstation five. Series. Exit PC. After that trailer host will Arnett revealed a few more details about the game with the voice cast from suicide squad who were in character Harley. Quinn specifically referenced getting excited about killing Batman and Captain Boomerang mentioned the flash. After that game director Sefton Hill showed up. There was this whole silly conceit that will Arnett was being transported around to his hosting duties and Hill had joked that they had just shipped him a green screen which was pretty good joke but he answered a few more questions. The game does play S- in the chronology. So it is technically a sequel to Batman Arkham night it's going to be a lot different, but narrative is moving the plot forward. They decided to do a suicide squad game because they consider their games character-driven and the suicide squad highlights. One of the things DC has always been particularly good at villains they appreciated how flawed they were. It also gave them the opportunity to create an interesting impossible scenario, which is, of course, hunting down the Justice League. The gameplay will be a hybrid of hero empowerment action and Gunplay, which is definitely a unique for rock steady Batman does not use guns. The game will offer up to four player Co op, but will totally be playable single player. If you're playing alone, the AI will handle your other members and you will apparently be able to swap between them seamlessly. You can also go back and forth between single and multiplayer over the course of game it is also an open world. That world being metropolis. The twenty twenty to release window really surprised me. Batman Arkham night released in two thousand fifteen they lent it a lot of support post release but I think it's pretty safe to assume they have been working on it at some capacity since that game released since arkham night released. A suicide squad game was also teased as early as two thousand thirteen where there was something at the end of Batman Arkham origins. So to learn it is nearly two years away. Surprised me. I'm not really disappointed. Honestly, I'm happy to wait just surprised I would have assumed it would be

How Coco Illustrator Ana Ramrez Gonzlez Extends Herself with Her Art
"I if I opened up one of your notebooks from Grade School and high school, how much doodling what I find in the margins You know not that much. I didn't use to draw growing up because I was a figure ice skater in ice skated competitively since I was six up until I was like fifteen or something. Then my mom was like when you take drying class I'm so happy that she did in so glad that they would even suggest art school for me in high school actually she kinda almost forced me to take drawing class or against my will almost but she was just tried out if you don't like it, you don't have to go back you know but please give it a try like I. Think you might like it. In. So she drove me to like my first drawing class in. But then I like looked it like after the first session as this is rules is the best like this is what I wanna do for. I didn't actually start drawing until I was maybe seventeen or sixteen, seventeen or something. When did you first decide to move to the states? So my mom has a cousin who lives. In Chicago who you know she was like, Hey, like can she go live with you? Here. So my aunt was in angel and she took me in for a year in lived in Chicago, and you know that exposed me to a lot like it was kind of a huge cultural clash for me because I grew up. You know kind of sheltered in you know in my small community in new everybody there and it was just for a year but it I think it really shaped. My view. On things in. My world in. So after that I went back to Mexico and then I found you know started doing research once I started taking drawing classes in my my sister's best friend from childhood who's also my friend his name alone. So he was studying at CAL arts at the time in La in. California. So I met up with alone. So that summer. And it was the summer before I graduated high school and he showed me his portfolio that he applied with in I just like I was like I have to do this in like. This college I was like I have to go to the school in an a very stubborn person in sort of obsessive sometimes when it comes to like things that are really WanNa to do and I applied that year but I didn't get in. So then I moved to France in when there for like two years. In. It really helped me to start building my portfolio for Callard's because in my mom in my dad's head, I was just going to stay in France in I was going to graduate there but I, was still like no have to go to cal arts 'cause that's my dream. My Dad was really worried when I applied to the school again because I think they also didn't really think that I would get when I re applied. Again, after two years of the first time I got rejected I did get in and I had such a good time and it was magical. So I mostly decided to move to the US because I just really wanted to go to the school in that was like the main reason in the drive for me to come here in because I loved animation and Film Industries here. But Oh, my family's still in Mexico is just me here. How did you land that first job after school? My first job. So it was actually during school because at Keller, it's A day per full day in its day in Wedge. A lot of people from the industry from the animation industry, go to the school look at our work. So there's like tables laid out in the main gallery in like students from first to fourth year plus like after you graduate, there's also space for them. We learned stressful. I knew so stressful it's Yeah. It's very like nerve wracking in like really exciting to because everyone's working towards that so. That year my mom was visiting 'cause she. She came up to visit me in and she was staying with me in I stayed up like I pulled an all nighter she stayed up with me the day before printing stuff out in laying out my portfolio decorating it. So we laid them out on these tables. In this was my third year and I went in the morning you lay them out at like a eight. Am you leave them there in the new leaf like you're not even present to show your work like you disappear, and then there's like this blackboard at the end of the hallway with you know the lists of every studio that's attending and you know like three hours later they write the names of the people they WanNa talk to. Based on like what they think about that work, I had never been called by Pixar or anything like I was not targeting Pixar at all because I'm like how like you know it just was not in my raider 'cause they were incredible. So as like whatever I just want an internship anywhere. Or A job. I went back to my house with my mom and we both kind of fell asleep for that time because we were so tired and then I got a call from a roommate who was at school and she was like, Oh, my God on a you have to get here right away like come here. Your name is under the picks list in I was like what no way I. Remember like jumping around with my mom. In we went to the school in like indeed, my name was on the list in the talk to Harley Jessup who production designed cocoa. And he was doing the interviews like himself site talked to him and he was like Oh I love your portfolio like it seems like you really love drying from like different cultures and you know I love how you're like units. So Colorful Blah Blah Blah in his guest, send us your portfolio and we'll get back to you and actually my mom took a photo of that list of the portfolio list. And she sent it to me every once in awhile and she's like remember We're like my name It's very sweet. Yeah. But then eventually they got back to me and they called and I was I happened to be touring Disney imagineering that day 'cause I was elected with a group of other students to go pitch stuff to imagine years, which was super cool and I was on that tour with my friends and then that day I found out they called me in there. Yeah. You would just want to let you know you got the internship end. I graduated college I didn't have a job I applied to like fifteen jobs or so and didn't get any of them until eventually I got one in I worked there for a little bit but then they weren't. Willing to sponsor me because I know it's not easy for everybody. So I left because I'm like. Well, what am I doing here? You know it's not for the money as much as like I also really need. To get sponsored so I can stay in the country. So I left and then I kept applying to jobs in the landed a job with Google doodles with Google in started freelancing for them and doing you know Google doodles rely Mexican Independence Day and then we were like in Having starting a conversation of potentially converting me to like full-time in stuff in has very excited about that.

"Listening to the children's Hour Bill Harley with us on the show today coming from his studio were in our studio and the kids are on zoom. Great to have everybody here with us today. We would really love to talk with you a little bit bill about all the different things that you do all the different things that you've been you know in in studying and researching about you. You've you've written so many books and you've won the grammy twice and you've been married a really long time to a super nice lady and you've just been a huge influence on kids lives for. I'm GonNa hate to tell this but for decades. Now I've been doing this for forty years. It's unbelievable yeah. Yeah we have a lot of thoughts and questions for you in our little zoom studio here and we're GONNA kick it off with illy. When did you first start playing your music? Well when I was a kid. I took piano lessons when I was in elementary school. Those piano lessons where it's like. Did you practice today? That kind of stuff And so I learned something about music then. When I was in junior high school in high school I played trumpet but then at the end of high school I started play piano again and when I went to college that was when I got to Qatar. My Freshman Year in College. I got a guitar and immediately started to write songs when I was doing that And so I was performing and I had. I played in a band. I played in a rock roll band when I was in college but I also started to perform and I also starred To to sing with kids and families my friends and I one of them is Debbie. My Wife He started a a day camp for kids and I was the guy at the end of the day when everybody was sick of the kids. And the kids are sick of the counselors. They'd say go see bill and so for the last twenty five minutes of the day I would sing some songs. There would be a dozen songs. I taught everybody that we would sing and I had two or three stories so that was when I really started to get interested in. What happens when you tell a story? You're when you sing a song with with people that are that are with together. You know And I didn't do it right away for job I but I but I always performed. How many kids do you have? And if you do her any yeah I have Two sons And they're both grown. They're in their thirties. Their names are Noah and Dylan and They both live music. They're both songwriters And they they write their really good songwriters but they do other things for work My older son knows a translator. He translates books from German and Spanish into English and my younger son. Dylan done a bunch of different things. But he's an arborist. Now he works he works with trees and so that's but they also they play music so and when they were growing up you know. My job was a little bit weird but police. They understood it it was like they. Would you know their friends or say? Oh my gosh. Here's DAD's Bill Harley. And they were like he's just a dad really but at least they understood what I did. Sometimes you know parents go to work and kids are like. I don't know they just Kinda go out there. I don't know what they do and then they come home again but my kids knew what my kids knew what I did. You know because they heard about it from their in a sea of children's artists who write songs and write books. How do you feel that you make yourself Unique and how did you come up with titles for books? Almost every time I write a book I have a fight with with the publisher about what they wanNA call the bucket. What I want to call the book and I usually lose because the marketing of the book is very important but longtime ago when I started to perform I went to work with director and he looked at my work because I felt like I wasn't good enough and he said well you're not a virtuoso you know and he said that's okay he said your job is not to be the best. Your job is to be the only you had to find a way to say things in a way. That's unique to you And you need to develop your skills so that you can say those things that you wanna stay and when you do those things and you'll find your voice which is the way you say things in a way that nobody else does. And there's people who have a bigger vocabulary than I do or they're better singers or they're better Qatar players or They're better at plotting like all those things. There's always somebody that's better than you at one thing but there's not really anybody that's better than I am at being me. We're talking with Bill Harley. Is a singer. Storyteller Songwriter. Novelist Crazy funny guy and here he is. I'm desperate I'll do anything they'll do it all and here. He is on the children's hour and he's in his studio. Warren ours and the kids are on Zoom Bill. You play one more song for us. Yeah sure I've.

You know the Juneau who I am like her rehearsing that in front of the in front of the mirror and then and then cutting people calling her that you know because she doesn't have that name or anything out there something like that. It's it's just like it's just like how like Harley would tell the story of of the huntress you know what I mean. Can you believe? That's how she's let's how she's telling the story. Yeah I I liked huntress actually liked her. I wasn't sure I would feel about her costuming and everything but I thought it was really cool. It kind of Intro as to what I thought it was under like what SORTA LOOKING FOR DUDE. I mean it. Also when she was kind of forget. And you're like okay. Yeah it makes sense like what her costume. Some reminded me of that eighties nineties. Workout world. Say. He will wearing a plastic.

Did i ever saw anybody was harley. That goddamn taser chasing teddy long hardy low teddy long and dan what's not to love theodore and that i think he had a switch net down thing where it was shock you but it also could be just flip a switch or just made the noise of being shocked. You know what i'm saying. They're scary noise so he get by and teddy not even the elect juice on and make the noise the <hes> of the taser behind his ear inertia. He never seen a man run so fast mussa fast teddy he's gone. He's died and he and he you would do that. When i was a great parts of earlier around he always made thanks guys. Were just happy to see him. He did shit like that to just you know honoring this but he still was that <hes> that loving guy that that over the daycare that just never quite grew up and he loved the st that we talked about the cars the boats you know <hes> is side deals. It's entrepreneurial chip so i don't know he just he was a guy he he was very offended. He took a lot of pride in those cookouts he after the guys they did for years ears hit do cooked a brisket or bunch of ribs or something that make desserts and all that stuff and he had a pool table in his basement so he would play pool and drink beer eat tiller their gluttony <hes> so but he was such a great host and he will love being around the guys is he loved the wrestling business. He loved the people in the wrestling business and it was always proud that he was one of them. Not only was just one of them. He he was the best one of them all because he was a traveling orel champion. He didn't work the money not r- r. a. w. this or whatever he he traveled the world working several nights a week globally with travel not nearly as refined as it is now and all all those things but he he was last really over the top successful traveling champion and you can't compare to buy in today's market to that because as much as i would like to say how many days a year they worked themselves martyrs. It wasn't nearly like it was his era. It just wasn't travel. There was a lot more challenging then than it is now and he was just i saw rik smits is recruiting are talking today about harley or do record a show. You know that that was the whole thing. The boys respect harleys overwhelming because rick did that traveling to he knows exactly last like i had mini mini conversation the late jack brisco about that and understood his side of it. Nobody likes those extended. Stay away from home and they're trying to monetize every night's pay as best they could good and they did that to the side deals and they do that cardi deal with baba and they did it by getting over and sell them tickets and ernest pay days. Excuse so bad so already had that ability to intimidate people so you know all the people all the fans and and and a lot of it bonner detente. I don't know what the toughest some visit ever walked base there but all it was through hardy's ability to convince him in the ring and then promos which which which is a great asset but i saw a live person livening color then person and and harley race was one of the toughest guy that they walk but he was one of the most passionate one of the best friend that you could ever have to analyze our harley race. Give my brother jack a big hug up there. When did you say wow thanks for taking the time today to catch up with us and celebrate <hes> one of the all time greats one of the top threes you said when the last real world champions and than it is kinda cool to know that somewhere right now jack in harley or maybe going two out of three falls tell us <hes> <hes> about the famous story of <hes> owen hart allegedly back in the day a lot of the guys whenever they were in harleys territory corey <hes> when they're working with w._b._f. They would come by and visit with harley and he and his wife would make a bunch of barbecue and harley had this famous spaghetti and the legend goes that owen dumped a bunch of hot sauce into this chili and it was unbearably hot to the point that it's really not even fit for consumption anymore..

"I'll never forget you doing that. We talked a little earlier today about maybe some issues shoes with the fox and the briscoes harley was maybe the monkey in the middle in that whole mass for the world title so i thought we needed to talk about where harley may be stacked up as the n._w._e._a. World champion and who better to do that than somebody who had first hand knowledge one of the briscoe brothers himself ladies and gentlemen joining us is now to talk about harley race where he was in the pecking order hall of famer mister jerry briscoe harley race <hes> you'll everybody everybody looks at holiday race and and said that's gotta be the toughest man on the world and the way he delivered his promos <hes> were or right right to the point look look in the eye through that television screen and and work in the rain was <hes> was just dynamic and and a ah at a one step but it was so solid that you know that you could say it was steph but at you got used to at harvey was a control that and harley charlie wouldn't hurt you are the harder it was a great professional but you know most most of the fans and most of the even most of the rafters yes <hes> live with the process of harvey being <hes> tough and been made this man in the world and cubs man in the world just just by his his work. I and it's promos skill which was an asset for any professional lesser to have and that's what harvey was was a professional wrestler. He wasn't show is for professional wrestling. Oh school to me the last of the great <hes> you know i put <hes> harley dory and jack and early terry in integrates and to me a lot of the other ones were just rent a champion at at as it was the w get all that <hes> we need this guy to get over in our territory okay well. We'll bring somebody will put more. They'd be world champion getting more so they were kinda. Ran a chip it's but the real workhorses of of of of this business will was dory jack and harley and <hes> and they're they're my five three favorites and i of course i love luke. 'cause i came along this time. Lou was winding down. A gene gene was a big brutal guy. That was just a big big monster and i don't think he was that grade of champion. Entering champion where he was a young could have massive data by because jean gene because of jeans size at hardy jack doherty they all had the size but they had the skill to to get on the scale to get on the on on the <hes> in in squared circle and and and have a match with anybody that that's what separated these three guys in my opinion to <hes> to <hes> <hes> all the other champions that come along after and before them they were able to have different matches with different people every night are have different airport masses with the same person every night as jack can hardly and jack and dory <hes> had all the time may do our broadway and it was a different our broadway where some of these guys have ever retained yet. Take the face bad. Take off the top rope all that stuff you know where where you guys. They've never met on stories that were the people were buying at night so as far as credibility and ring a hardy has so much credibility credibility with me but har hardly had had had to have that skill like i said to convince people that he was the toughest face of the earth and and also <hes> eight not convinced the people but he convinced he bench guys even work with all hardly had to do to you to freeze would would give me give you that stare right. I saw harley. Give that stare across the ring and it skidded make you want to go back and change your takasu. Excuse so bad so already had that ability to intimidate.

I'm serious. Give me the wallet game in the personnel. Nobody gets hurt and harley by this point is annoyed so he looks up locks eyes with the guy and says ah fuck off and that's what the guy decided to do theresa's harley up and thought about it and obviously ended up leaving leaving there without the belongings of mr and mrs race and so you know that of all the harley stories to me. That's that's just the one that sums up the baddest man on god's green earth. Thanks for having me on to tell this guy's appreciate it. No thank you dave for taking time out of your day to <hes> celebrate the life and legacy and memory three of the great harley race yeah. I guess we should mention. He does come back in a year returns. The great american bash in nineteen ninety which we recently uncovered he would beat his former rival. Tommy rich and he starts wrestling on house shows filling in for rick flair in several tag team matches where he teamed with barry windham against lex luger in staying is going to wrestle tommy rich through the summer and a couple of times against brian pill one in september he would wrestle the united states title against lex and then he would renew his rivalry the following month in october against junkyard dog on the house show loop and he finishes the year against michael wall street and <hes> he suffers a pretty nasty shoulder injury missouri on december seventh of nineteen ninety and not long after he retires as a wrestler and <hes> we we see them pop back up at the great american bash nineteen ninety one.

Twentieth eighty four in new zealand harley would beat rick for the world title three days later later. Wouldn't you know it in singapore. Rick wins the belt back from harley. This is almost a custom. If it's an overseas flight and harleys taken the belt he he can carry it in his bag every night. Yeah and there was no. There's no there's no social media. The cloak of secrecy are are trying to prevent event news and getting out is doesn't happen. I mean i it's amazing what you can find their on real time stuff. A ah goes on arresting dennis. There's very active fan base that have telephones cameras video recorders so it was just a different era. You could get uh. Hey you think anybody here in oklahoma had a god damn clue who was win. The title of new zealand no spelled z. us but nonetheless the only thing that new that new zealand is a lot of sheep. They're going to be careful but harley was a harley was <hes> this guy he was a businessman conrad. These these guys are entrepreneurs. They weren't getting guaranteed contracts. They're having to go out and actually sell tickets to earn their pay. They weren't giving a they weren't being <music> on scholarship here to where some companies are paying exorbitant salaries to their talents who actually think that there are making so much money only that they're actually over and they're gonna take some merit to the pay. They're not in those days. These guys are all this commission salespeople. You'll get a guarantee worked in here and there but i will tell you that eight out of ten events they worked. They got what the the commission was star. The percentage percentage was outlined to be so the more you sold the more you made yvonne that night you get paid well and that's kind of how that work you know just about the money the in the percentages in a different mindset than this mindset today not even close we should mention that they thought that they were doing doing this title switch and nobody would find out about it and harley would say the n._w._e._a. Thing was kind of half ass falling apart and we wanted to draw the best thing we could singapore coming in the singapore where the new champion and giving the title back to rick would be different than anyone expected but nobody knew paul bosch was going to be in wellington..

"I've been in japan. When back on was there. He did not want to meet me dan nor does he really want to meet me now. I had to come to his playground his backyard top madison square garden and and back then it's going to be settled once and for all i am the only world heavyweight champion and i want want to prove that to you most nicely. Thank you very much mr race who will meet bob backline. We'll find out who the true world heavyweight champion is in madison square garden on the twenty second day of september. Let's keep moving in and tell everybody that this roy aligned with the interview world title last more than two years and he finally loses it october twenty first nineteen seventy-nine dusty rhodes but he wins it back five days later and i guess we should mention that he would do the same routine a couple of months later in october in japan he would lose the title to giant baba with running clothesline and then when it back a week later with a cross body blocked from the top rope where harley rolls through it and gets a pin and it's been said the rumor innuendo the legend is the harley was paid twenty five thousand dollars cash directly from giant baba and he did this because he felt like well. I'm losing it. In japan and i went back before i go back to the states so what's the harm and this way. I'll get paid directly and i won't have to cut the end of a dan. This is pre internet era but this was one of those famous stories where one of the boys cut a deal and giant baba really wanted to say he was in n._w._e._a. Champion and he was for a week and harley have made a lotta pay days. I'm assuming through baba over the years. It was a pay back. It was it was it was a cash grab. If you want for lack of a better term it wasn't the first time a champion interviewed. Champion had gonna benefit for himself to mika some extra extra scratch. It happened before and again. I don't think but nonetheless it happened before i wouldn't do so. I know that caused a little bit of an uprising pissing contest within the hierarchy of the end of u._a. Because they perceived that they are losing control troll and the one thing they had the really the only thing they had going for him was the n._b._a. Title and making her money's book and a champion you know three hundred days a year wherever there's the lights are turned on and they didn't wanna screw that up so if they start to feel like they're losing control of the booking or the talent and it was not a good thing for them because that was their only major asset. Let's talk about the interview world title flip-flopping. It wasn't done with baba. They would do it again. September fourth nineteen eighty baba would be harley five days later. You can probably predict arly wins it back and he did this in eighty one with <hes> one of the hottest young stars in the whole state of georgia. Mr wildfire tommy rich. Oh my god conradi so those taxi. Oh my gosh he loses it to tommy rich april twenty-seventh he wins it <hes> back on may first michigan michigan barnette orchestre de deal well tell us and they were and there was big money involved in that too well. It was done to help the georgia territory. You know like i said earlier this fasten comment but harley beating dory in two or three falls or did that happen in his territory in a big market in kansas city. Kansas is kansas territory and they're in kansas city. You're trying to say god almighty so that was the same deal here tommy rich the hot new thing people couldn't get enough of him. He become a major star on t._b._s. In needed something sales just a little something other than bleed rematch and how those classics with both sawyer and they did so you know he against the title for what five days or something long painful days you and he lost the title back in atlanta the big the big market the big town of the territory the as desio say the mother low bid and that's what it was so and here that barnett put a little extra cheese.

"Got money from booking harley. Booking fee and heart got a big payday for being in the main event and getting a predetermined amount of percentage of the house else so it was a it was a those are the things that you knew what you hope does a fan before you work for prejudices and you weren't precondition that would be you see a title change in history. Make you see these guys are gonna lose her title and somebody's gonna end up with two unheard of we don't talk about history yeah about october thirteenth nineteen seventy eight. If you're younger wrestling fan throw that in your google machine because despite what we would be told i dunno no <hes> nine years later seven years later harley race body slammed andre the giant for the first time it didn't happen at wrestlemania three it happened october thirteenth nineteen seventy eight and it was harley race who did it and he would do it again. On january seventh nineteen seventy-nine this outside the ring onto the floor during a match which pretty remarkable and ric flair's gone on the w._w. Network a few times and told the story that unbelievably harley race was the first and only got he knew to do a vertical suplex with andrei and not regular suplex but hold him that was in greensboro and that's when nathan went back in a locker room after his organises. What did you tell andre what you're gonna. Do i told him suplex and watch the body slam so andrei big eyes bushy hair so hardly vertical suplex andrei laundry way over four hundred pounds even a leaner years. Here's your high threes low force any and hardly held him that post physician and a lot of people don't realize how strong he was. It takes the guy that you're su- flexing and help you a little bit but bottom line man you got one arm on that big bass but you've got to figure out how you're gonna hold him up there for a while and notwithstanding stand with fact that then he got body slammed but hardy didn't ask for the permission for the giant giant hardy was the godfather andre was nick caserio andre what the boss either. Everybody called her. The boss when andrei was around harley harley race was the boss unbelievable. That's the respect he had with the boys his journey he was on the the <hes> pioneering man the the the doucehy paid we all knew but the happy humphries wiping your ass deal and all the name and all this other stuff it was just a the stuff already did and and working hardly the i here's another thing i will tell you i think most people listening agree that are familiar with the two guys that superstar billy graham and nick balk winkle or for both amazing talents main event guys world world champions but they they're gains entirely different. I'd say i'd say this conrad very quickly that i think that that <hes> superstar billy graham was known ryan. He threw nothing nothing but heat strength powered heat nick balk winkle through all speak pitches and both of them are amazing but here's the money on this story is both guys were made to look better than they actually were because they're working harley right and very few people especially. Today's wrestling world had the ability to make whomever they work with better than they actually are dr. Anne hardy did that night after night after night. Can you imagine missile territory places four or five hundred six hundred people there you gotta wrestle. The territory's fair haired boy and making look good. We probably couldn't sometimes couldn't couldn't tie boots. He did all that allows it can always big nice arenas and and everything it was <hes> it was a it was it was a damn carnival. Man is like being involved bill or something. That's going to be nothing less than the super bowl. A professional wrestling actually bought back on the world wrestling federation champion meeting the n._w._e._a. Champion harley race race who meets the world wrestling austin federation champion and then what is somewhat of a super bowl of pro wrestling in madison square garden on monday night september twenty second your comments please mr race. It's going to be the <hes> pity me of wrestling today. I have been all over the world..

"It's not uncommon to hear about tough guys and professional wrestling so arly race is one of the many tough men professional wrestling but but it is pretty unusual to hear someone carried as much respect in professional wrestling is hardly raced in and got a lot of that is because of the respect that harley harley had for the business and the gaas in it so to elaborate on that until a couple of really great stories. Let's welcome great friend of the show host of what it happened win. Mr tony shivani well a couple of things about harley. I hardly was brought into w._c._w. Be the manager of a big van dater sure and he became like really managed to they brought him in because they thought that leon was a little bit <hes> well. Two out of control at times had a lot to learn about being on top in the business especially in w._c._w. Thought harley would be communist influence to him and and good help lead him in the right direction and not not so sure that it always happened that way but i know harley did have an impact on leon's life. I don't think there's any question about that but the the story that i know about harley race is one. That's been well told old in <hes> in world championship wrestling and especially mid atlantic championship wrestling ricky steamboat rick flair had great foods and some of the best feuds since some of the best matches they've ever had happened in jim crockett promotions back before they became big international stars on turner broadcasting and back in the seventies when ricky steamboat defeated ric flair for the mid atlantic television championship they had this angle where flare attack steamboat and took steamboats face and rubbed it across the floor of the television studios so to make him look make it look like he was really hurt. They brought steamboat in the back and harley race just happened to be there because the world champion was in town at that time and he was doing tv a harley was there and <hes> <hes> as as the story goes he asked for someone to get some sandpaper so they went out to a local hardware store to get sandpaper harley took the sandpaper and sanded steamboats face the the right side of his face sanded off his eyebrow and then grabs steamboat by the head and said kid this is going to hurt standby and punched him as hard as he could in the eye to swell up the i'm black and the eye and and dan he told steamboat go out and do your interview so harley was was was truly legitimately one of the toughest roughest this rugged guys at ever stepped into the wrestling ring and i think that story just shows you exactly the the extent he would go through to make sure the the injuries that came across on t._v. Legit well. It'll thinking had permeate some of the other territories because something happened in in this era when harvey's champi you would think man that i can't really have happened right not politics the way it were of course he's making the loop he being harley and picking up wins over pat patterson and dusty rhodes and dory funk and dick the bruiser and angelo ofo and the original chic but they need as a couple of title versus title title matches against superstar billy graham of the w. w._w._f. And the awa world champion nick bach winkle that seems like that is almost like a fever a dream as much as as these territories would be divided just a few years later but but it actually happened champ versus chain it did happen for pay days cash and creative the cash. The talents are gonna make make them happy happy for sure. The <hes> <hes> money's gonna make was a great bonus cost normally in those big <hes> glorify matches like in in the in the northeast with a superstar billy graham and and and then awa or wherever may be with nick balk winkle. They're great pay days there and the houses and then remember that a piece of that. There's a piece of that house came back to the n._w._e._a. So the n._w._e._a..

"The cadillac and off they went and i know that steve was telling the story the other day and this is true story. I've heard leon vader when harvey harley was driving and he was drinking beer. Obviously they did drink drink and drive. Don't do their home kids or anybody else. That beer was done. Vader's job was a half the other beer already open and the opening turn to turn nearest harley so the heartiest had to get the beer but rightness mouth south and drink it and that was the baiters job all night to open the beers and pass seamlessly passing the empty goes out the new one comes in it's already openness wanted right to your face that was harley and nobody ever said one word about doing any of those little things like that because he was hardy race inevitably inevitably when you get a bunch of the boys together and they're sharing a few cocktails the story star flowing and eventually it almost becomes like a competition of can you top this us and that was a story. I heard years ago about harley race. That was maybe the tallest tale of all and i knew we had to get it on the show today. Unfortunately the person who told me the story probably shouldn't be on this. Show telling the story so we made a compromise. We're going to put them in podcast witness protection but this is a story of harley race. You've just got to hear car drove through beal's soon lose broke through gordon the core the shots were syrup. Harley roosts will burmese russia's world champion windows. Were what are you doing own. Terms tools wrote a bureaus migita slope indoors trample aw road harley race was drinking smoking driving walking.

"Civic skills that they could utilize but he drove his happy. Helpers was over six hundred pounds and of course publicity says eight hundred. I don't think it was eight hundred pounds but he certainly was over five easy easier five. He was morbidly obese and that may be an understatement but think about this when you're morbidly obese such as a happy humphrey was your harley had to wipe up his ass harley had to clean happy humphrey after he could find a commode that was strong enough to hold him take a good number two. I think you wrote about it in his book where he said that he would actually have to wash him and he would you know sadly the guy would lay down and he would use a mop on him with a garden hose and this is how he broke into the wrestling business and of course when you're in the wrestling business in those days bush like these days there's lots of driving involved and unfortunately he was in a car accident and his wife at the time vivian is with him and they don't have been married for about a month and in this car accident. She does just a month into their marriage mentioned. He's rushed to the hospital and allegedly the promoter he was working for came to visit harley and the doctors informed the promoter that they were planning to have to amputate him from the knee down and the promoter put a stop to that and even though they said well he may never walk again. He managed to keep the leg. It's a knee fracture which gets four metal screws in it. He's got two pins in his left. Arm is going to have to take a break from wrestling for eighteen months before he's back up and moving around and when that happens he moves to nashville arse wrestling as jack long but that's something i guess that it has in common with ric flair for most people listening to this know that ric flair went down in a in an airplane and suffered a broken back and many others in that plane crashed rashed odd but he survived and he was told he would never wrestle again and not only did he wrestle again. He was wearing gold. I don't know six months later and that sort of a parallel with him and and harley race. Did you ever hear about his accident that cost him his wife and nearly as leg yeah absolutely <hes> heart. It was a daredevil man. I don't know the exact circumstances. Surrounding this particular tragedy i do know that hardy was a speed freak. <hes> saga steve austin one time one of hardy's the greatest days was when he started travelling are w w for example he only would rent a cadillac so the company i think cutting furnished him a car because we put him vader anyhow only would drive a cadillac on the road because it fit get his demeanor his image. He protected the business that way. He wasn't around a taurus taurus owners. There's nothing wrong with your car. I don't need to be added but the bottom line is. They got the cloud as a cadillac. You're talking about the champ here so but when he got those remember those <hes> motors that they got out about that time the four fifty four or something that came in big ass cadillacs. I can't marry some over over muscled up motor cadillacs. He he was hog heaven 'cause he loved drive and he's a and he was the driver. You'd think elderly god. He's going to be a for years for many years. Hardly anybody else drive and he'd go behind the wheel. The cadillac and off they went and i know that steve was telling the story the other day and this is true story. I've heard leon vader when.

"Jim. I'm sorta in shocked at this continues to happen. Yes it's a something has to change is very frustrating. I wanna let you know not that it matters but behind the scenes working with a w. on the star cast front come up with some fundraising opportunities do what we can <hes> for the victims of those unbelievable. Mass shooting happened this past weekend and you know i'm. I'm sort of out of words about what to say here jim. I just think we we set our piece. Some people are listening. Folks apologize a political overtone. It's it's an extraordinary week obviously in our country and for those of you they are listening to our show outside the united states borders. I'm embarrassed for us because we must look like pure idiots embarrassing so we have to change the a a lot of things and again. I wish i had the damn solutions. The one solution would be to get the dims republicans together and agree on something for for god's sakes and get off this god damn right side left side. You know all this. I hate it. I turned me against politics altogether analysts something like this happens again that married us of responding to conrad. I don't pretend to think ever talk about the politicians of america erica again because they aren't embarrassment case close earning well. Somebody who was an embarrassment to their profession is the late great harley race. I remained a few weeks back. Harley wasn't in the best to help it was really going through a tough patch and unfortunately we lost him on august. I and we're delighted that you guys for joining us today to celebrate his life and memory and of course this weekend <hes> they're going to have a public celebration of life his memorial service right there missouri and he's one of the all-time great. You know a really really profound tweet when you got the news and he. He said he never met anybody. He respected more in this industry than harley race. When did you first meet him nine thousand nine hundred seventy seven. I was working for legal and mcgurk <hes> mcgurk in his partner cowboy bill watts or having a timeout shall we say and leroy was having a very difficult time getting talent to come in when the talent wanted to come in that area <hes> the part of the territory that watt scott was the lower end because we called it <hes> louisiana mississippi houston and and so we we <hes> <hes> trying to do my part here we discreet mcgurk was hurting and he needed a house and so he booked hari to spend the title ended up gay title i guess dory funk junior and <hes> that was going to be in the tulsa fairgrounds pavilion of believe in nineteen seventy seven. I have been in the business or less three years. I was <hes> how would i be in twenty five and so i started re. I did a lot of things but one of the things that was fun was referee act we were not because we actually had rules and you could actually be a factor to match in a good way and not just a an unnamed on who you are anymore. <hes> nee referee so so <hes> in this match and they're going to go down broadway our draw sixty minutes through as they say so i go in the locker room and and they had this little these locker rooms had like little sev- locker rooms and one of the smaller roost door was shut..

"Once wants harley realized it was a rib he showed up at monday night raw and when he green an hour on a yeah that that was a cyber giving the taser the the <hes> the most scared to say in oklahoma sometime party in alabama too scared more scared. Did i ever saw anybody was harley. That goddamn taser chasing teddy long hardy low teddy long and dan what's not to love theodore and that i think he had a switch net down thing where it was shock you but it also could be just flip a switch or just made the noise of being shocked. You know what i'm saying. They're scary noise so he'll get by and teddy not even the elect juice on and make the noise the <hes> of the taser behind his ear inertia. He never seen a man run so fast mussa fast teddy he's gone. He's died and he and he you would do that. When i was a great parts of around he always made thanks guys. He took a lot of pride in those cookouts he after the guys they did that. For years. Ears hit do cooked a brisket or bunch of ribs or something that make desserts and all that stuff and he had a pool table in his basement so he would play pool and drink beer eat tiller their gluttony <hes> so but he was such a great host and he will love being around the guys is he loved the wrestling business. There was a lot more challenging then than it is now and he was just i saw rick. Mrs recruiting are talking today about harley or do record a show. You know that that was the whole thing. The boys respect harleys overwhelming because rick did that traveling to he knows exactly last like i had mini mini conversation the late jack brisco about that and understood his side of it. Nobody likes those extended. Stay away from home and they're trying to monetize every night's pay as best they could good and they did that to the side deals and they do that cardi deal with baba and they did it by getting over and sell them tickets and ernest paydays. Let's <hes>..
