This Metric Determines the True Pro-Life Stance of GOP Candidates

"I'm talking to John's mirac. John. Again, you've written another article at stream dot org. This one is a little even more disturbing as far as I'm concerned. Let's talk about that one. Yeah, there's a heroic pro life activist named reverend James Harden. And he runs compass care, which is a chain of pregnancy centers that help women save their babies. He his center has been one of the ones most violently attacked by pro abortion activists by James revenge. He decided to do an objective metric to determine how pro life various Republican candidates are. Now that's interesting, right? There's an objective metric. It's not just a matter of arguments. We can actually do the numbers. How could you possibly do the numbers? Well, what Hardin did was he took the proposals, the pro life laws endorsed by various candidates who are running or probably running for president from Nikki Haley to Donald Trump to Ron DeSantis. And he determined how many abortions would be stopped if their laws passed. If they got everything they wanted in terms of federal legislation, what percentage of abortions that are currently perfectly legal would be prevented. And it's called the hardened abortion compromise scale. HARD EN abortion compromised scale. And my friend Jason Jones wrote about it at the stream. The title is, are GOP candidates pro life pro choice or pro grift. Now, by pro grift, we mean people who want to say their pro life, but in fact, what they mean is, I don't want abortions in my town. I don't want to abortion clinics in Texas. Let there be abortion clinics in the airports in California. Let the federal government send abortion pills through the mail to every state in the union, but I want to feel good about myself by saying we've closed a few planned parenthoods in my state.

"But right now I have the privilege of speaking with the founder of the CEO of compass, care, Jim, the reverend Jim Hardin, Jim Hart and welcome to this program. It's an R&B with you today. Eric really is. Well, you are really kind. Listen, you are one of those heroes out there. My wife ran a pregnancy center here in New York City for 12 years, it's called a veil. I know about this world. And the people who are involved in this, they're doing God's work any time anybody tries to bad mouth people, you know, who are on the pro life side of the equation. They have no clue what they're talking about. They really speak at a ignorance because folks like you, you're doing an amazing thing, truly heroic, beautiful stuff. But the reason you're on right now, Jim Hardin, with compass care, is because of what happened recently. You guys are in Buffalo. So tell the story of, first of all, what is compass care and what just happened to your facility in Buffalo, New York? Yeah, compass care has operations in three different abortion hub cities in New York. Because the abortion capital of the U.S. with more abortions occurring per CAPiTA basis than any other state in the union and we're expecting a significant influx of patients from conservative states now. Roe versus wade, reversal of his way, essentially, totally changed the abortion industry. And that means that patients are going to be coming to New York from the conservative states. So what happened in Buffalo was on June 7th, our facility was firebombed. By James revenge, they took responsibility for it in a communique. And they also had their signature scrawl in graffiti on the side of our facility that said, Jane was here. There's catastrophic damage to the facility. And we're going to take, it's going to take hundreds of thousands of dollars and many, many weeks to

Rev. James Harden on the String of Pro-Life Pregnancy Center Attacks

"So it seems in a couple days, maybe a couple of weeks, the United States Supreme Court is going to repeal roe versus wade, which would bring abortion, which send abortion back down to the states. It's a state's rights issue. Unfortunately, as this has been rumored because it was illegally leaked, still no arrest because of the leak. We have started to see in a mass amount of violence against pro life centers, across America, firebombing, and vandalism. One of those centers is happen in New York City and the person who runs that is the guy by the name of James R Hardin, reverend James R Hardin, who's the CEO of compass care pregnancy services, and he joins us right now. James, welcome to the Charlie Kirk show. Thank you. It's an honor to be here with you, Charlie. Tell us about what happened to your clinic. Well, about a week ago Tuesday, police and fire rescue responded to smoke coming out of our facility at two 30 in the morning. And they arrived to find broken glass and fire excellent in our facility and on the wall was scrawled Jane was here. A signature kind of trademark for a pro abortion terrorist group called Jane's revenge. James revenge refers to an underground abortion group in Chicago in the 1960s called the janes collective. And so they're not about women's rights. They're not about choice. They're about abortion. Their motto is if abortion isn't safe, then neither are you. And their intent was to shut us down into scare us, but they didn't. We were up and running the very next day. We had to reroute patients out to our Russia facility. Put some hardship in our patients, but we're continuing to serve patients even now. We will stop and we're not

"Do they have, as you said enough on the perimeter in general, perimeter D and length at those spots, we're missing Danny Green for a long stretch after the trade for Hardin, so just getting him back recently and trying to kind of reconfigure because that's the thing when you have, you know, I'm not saying you can play defense just with two guys. But Danny Green together is a pretty nice combination defensively at the wings. But Danny Green's got a lot of miles on him and you can't, you know, you can't overextend him. So there's still concerns there when he's not on the court or table's not in the court like where does that leave you, right? So it's just a lot of little things, but listen, in a playoff series, first of all, we know this team can defend at a high level. When you have embiid back there, you're always going to be a pretty stout defense. And then it's just a matter of, can you win the battles down the stretch? Can you get the tight, you know, there are the baskets you really need in a tight fourth quarter. And they do have two guys and hardening and bead who are among the best scorers in the league. So I still think they're going to be there in the end..

Exploring The Murder of Yvonne Lane: Reaching Out to Joe Wilkes

"It seemed like the best way to get to the bottom of what was going on was to finally speak to the man whose testimony landed david in prison for life. It was time to reach out to joe wilkes to be clear. I personally have not spoken to joe as you know the private investigators from proclaim justice advised me to let them do all the interviews during their preliminary investigation. Anything i may say or ask. A witness could taint their statements for the court. So john hardin wrote joe informing him of who he and danny wexler are and what they're doing reinvestigating the murder to find the truth of what happened now for i've seen between sue and joe hearing all the interviews. He's done with sue and other media. I did not think that joe would be too happy to hear from anyone plus if you remember even though he told police that he killed you on by cooperating and telling the police that david had hired him. He got a lesser sentence than david. Thirty years with the possibility of parole. Joe has already done twenty two years so he could be looking at freedom in just eight years. I figured he would have no interest in bringing all of this up again. I thought he would just wanna finish out his time and move on without any of the mass that happens every time he speaks to someone about this case and when i say mess i mean all of his conflicting statements in fact i figured he would actually send them a nasty message back telling them to fuck off or something if he even responded. But that didn't happen. Joe wrote back eager to talk and tell his story so the guys worked setting up a legal visit which proved to be next to impossible in ohio to get done in a timely manner and so we waited and waited. It's a nine cited figure that's used in a particular system of analysis to represent the spectrum of possible personality types. So when you look it up online kind of you know how someone might explain what. The purpose of the graham is Is it like i said. Is this idea that everyone belongs to one of nine major personality types and the purpose is not to put you into a box but to help you. I don't necessarily agree with that. I don't think they're is great basketball's toronto at the time. It would have been more interesting series but i mean he he. There's a reason moved on and in part because of that the way they acted towards them. Yeah so i listen. I saw to answer your question. I liked what i thought. I thought that was interesting now. I like the fact that i don't usually believe in air dirty laundry so he didn't talk. He said they're little screwed up and and they did now. I'm sure somebody's gonna address him on this kick. steve kerr some snarky comments about everything. Yeah now whether you want to hear it or not. But he does. And he's a he's a hell of a coach but draymond green has grown man cave kevin durant. They can handle themselves. And that's i think how he wanted to do. According to it but no issue there. I actually makes me go back. I gotta listen to the other twenty two minutes because that was a good two minute bike. I'm okay with that conversation. I'm quite frankly. Okay without grown man feels. You don't have to love everybody in order to get things done what else you got real quick so the before we go to break. The nba has released at slate of games on christmas day. But i get why you'd say hey trae young and madison square garden. Be pretty cool right. Is that what you said it. Pretty cool the best thing i saw because the last getting better the last time he was there he said. It's quite as often here. The best thing. I saw online yesterday. Someone dressed him up in the buddy if in buddy the elf costume and said The best way to spread. Christmas cheer is to scream out loud. It's quite as f- in here we'll have to. "Little boy band actually back thursday. This was a request. Put their name on it. You put her name on second hold on twitter. Maybe this is what will get the astros. Because years ago to bay used to jam at this video of him singing the song this cut right here get them right. Who is the group syncing cups between instinct and backstreet. Boys i kinda cut kinda run together. In saint backstreet. Boys got ninety eight degrees. I gotta put more respect on their name. I have seen backstreet boys in concert. They were part of a music festival and actually not bad live fun. I would imagine it's fun. Sing along and they're entertaining dancing around the people what they were having a ball they were so saw. They had a hell of a run by all of them. So it is throwback thursday. Thanks again to charles out into the feedback. I'm getting from people that listen to. It doesn't matter what side you sit on if you sit on the side when it comes to the shawn watson situation but he's a lawyer and ex police officer is the brilliant his job on radio and television and does not mince words so if you want insight without somebody fence in charles adams give it to you but it comes from a lawyer standpoint now. He's he's awesome guests so guys before we get to more stuff about the texans and mci no you face it with some callers. Yesterday right faced a lot of call yesterday. Here's here's something that in my opinion is just crazy. There's conspire i don't know neither does. Mc or tyler you. We have our opinions. Charles adams we all do on this the deshaun watson situation. Yeah football and non football. We all have our opinion on it without knowing because we're not one of the women that were there and we're not tony busby and we're not rusty hardened or any of those other things or does shawn watson but i will tell you this. I think it's absolutely frigging absurd and nuts and this isn't saying somebody's guilty or not guilty but this conspiracy theory people are out of their mind. Is saying that the texans planned this and this is all a big conspiracy theory to get him to because they're mad at him he says you wanna play. Oh yeah right well. Maybe legit also heard that. It's it's a racist because it's an african american quarterback stop it. I don't believe for one. Second that nick cereal or regardless of how you feel about callum mcnair. It's pro sports player. They didn't all the sudden. Get together and say hey you know what man. I got a great idea. Tony can you pull the. Can you pull through this call. About twenty four. Maybe call fifty women and then all the sudden. See if they'll buy into this stop it. I don't know if if the accusers are. What they're saying is true. I don't know. And i sure as hell don't know if sean what he's saying is true or his lawyer. I don't know but i i. I feel pretty good about this opinion that there's this isn't a devised thing. Some big scheme that. We're gonna see an a documentary twenty years from now in cal- called tony busby. He said yeah. Let me round. Sum up via will plough jackie beside in a room and decided to come up with. This is because he doesn't want to play again right now. Let me tell you something. There's been a lot of crazy things that ain't one of them that go on. I'm just telling you and we gotta get out no race exist and problems and i guess that this this is it either with it is a simple a simple case. This is a guy who is like charles adams said a creep in terms of his sexual fetishes and he has gone out and whether allegations are true and he has a fetish for massages and having some sort of. You don't solicit this many women to give you massage. You have some online. Or whatever. And like i said this. Isn't somebody out to get to sean shop. Put himself in the situation. Nobody would have blamed himself. And if it's all twenty plus or if it's four of them eight him. I don't know but what i do know when it comes to conspiracy theories we we gotta be better than that. I don't believe that. David kelly said you guys are right do this. Because i don't like i because he's african american court. Stop what i would like to think in. The nfl would like to think this. And his coaches or front office people and organization that that were beyond that. I'd like to hope for the most part for most people that has nothing to do with it and when it comes to this the fact that we can even come up with all. There's no. there's no doubt the texans planned this and tony busby rounded up a bunch of girls. that just don't like shawn watson. I don't know if the allegations of this is true. But i know one conspiracy theory. That ain't it's not. Yeah it's not gonna give each other. Let's just go. Let's let let's are. We just paid him. Forty million. Even though he doesn't wanna play your. Let's do this. I don't believe that. I was one second completely blown away. Probably twelve to fifteen calls. That basically accused that type of that type of thing saying that you know. This is a conspiracy. Texans onto sean. They they're behind this and it's just like why would the texans do that to their own part if the if they wanted him to play for them again if they did using that they would go and do this. This would be the response. We really wanted to play for him. So you know we'll do we'll come up with this concocted scheme find much women all come together make up the same kinda stories. Where which again. You can't make up these stores where there's literal screen shots of conversations. He's with them on instagram their receipts. This isn't some made up event. Yeah he's had massages with these women in different places and the various lucid said early. He's made them uncomfortable in these situations. Texans do again. I was blown away. At how many phone calls from people yesterday me th that believe that that truly believe that it's beyond it's it's borderline embarrassing for you to call and beat away if you believe that watson's innocent okay. Great i'm not. I don't know if you believe that the did he's not innocent. That what the act. The accusers are saying are all true. One hundred percent of it. Great if you're somewhere in between you think maybe not sure and you're not gonna you're waiting for all the due process everything go through. Which is doing because i i refuse to now. I know what the optics look like. And i know how opinion on that but as far as making somebody guilty or not guilty or innocent or not as the make him look guilty optics to question but we don't. We don't know that we don't put people in jail or or find them or anything or get them in a position where they gotta pay money in a civil lawsuit. Just because of optics. I wouldn't think so. It's like like rusty hardin said. Let's let this thing. Let's get through this thing. Let it happen. Yes in a press conference yesterday. But the conspiracy that they stood up there in an office and decided to concoct this twenty plus women. And we'll just make all this up too because we don't like to sean sean. Said he didn't wanna play here. There couldn't be more absurd conspiracy theory and election years. There's a lot of absurd conspiracy theories this ain't it folks. That is not the reason this is happening. I don't know who's innocent and who's guilty. Or what have you. But i can tell you this. The texans did not concoct an idea with tony busby to. Let's do this. And really get to sean because well to sean doesn't wanna play here. Come on now. We got to be better sports. Talk seventy come right back. Sean salisbury show. Put ours smart ass on your smart speaker. Google play sean sows berry on iheartradio. Emc we'll get we'll start. Tyler's ten at nine o'clock great stuff again by charles adams man. "Now back to sean. South very sean. Now the cells burris takeout takeout on the. sean sounds. Show on a throwback thursday tyler. Mc charles adams the truth ten to twelve. You see him on fox news as well. Law background Smarter than all of us combined. I would imagine we'll discuss the legal stuff surrounding the shawn watson as if he's not busy enough kind enough to join us at the top of the hour. We're grateful to have an in house guy who's got that kind of background and we'll We'll get some opinion on on From charles let's take it out. Mc star with you so we'll go to the football world washington. Football team is apparently inching closer to getting a name. They're down to what like eight well. There's a list of eight. They got thrown out there and they've reportedly gotten it down to three of these eight. Lets you wanna make. Here's the eight armata. Got out presidents Maybe brigade maybe read hogs. Oh maybe commanders and red wolf's defenders you know i take that back commander still alive defenders out. Haven't we seen that before the soccer team or usfl team or something. I haven't seen defenders wasn't xfl to name options watched washington football thing. I think some are going to say that because it just so. I don't think you're gonna slot. But they've changed it and people bought stuff and they could change it again people and they're gonna keep the just the washington football hat stuff shirts. Yeah for that. So it's a way to make more money Okay data the three. Who is here. We don't know three red hogs commanders and give me one of the other ones said i said. Do you like Redhawks give me one of the two at the top presidents armada brigade. Would you like that are modest. Our modiselle brigade presidents is out. because if it's presidents you've changed your color scheme to red white and blue. They're not changing the case. So let's throw it out. And what's the other one was defenders regain his defenders brigade red hogs and commanders. I like red hogs the most. I just don't i think that washington football teams going to be one of their finalists. I do too. I do too. I think that's a matter of fact. I think that's a no brainer. Is one of their finals. Want because it sounds so that. It's all right i do and then the other two so i guess i'm okay with the washington football team. I kind of like the red hogs different. We've always call their offense of lines since joe vehicle. That sounds the traditional. Like that stupid movie with tim. Allen and no doubt. That movie called the wild hawks. Like if we're just gonna make that joke it does. They could logo it out though with that they can do some pretty cool logos with the red hogs. Yeah some silly. The commanders is pretty. Good and arkansas. Could that's the problem you're gonna make that that Pick sue looked like a looked like a hog. It looks like the razorback. Yeah so we'll see but defenders are you. Yeah i'm gonna. I feel like that's he is. I'm gonna go commanders or read hogs for me is isn't bad i don't like the red hogs red wolves. I think those are bad options. Dc wasn't the xfl to battle. I don't want that then. You can go that. Nobody's had a name of go. Commanders fair enough. That's my top choice right now. That red hog commanders. But i i saw thousand my favorite on the list the military. You can do a lot with the right tyler. What you've got So yesterday on espn Jackie macmullan announced that she is indeed retiring She's always been one of my personal favorites. I found out who she was around. The horn absolutely loved her on that. Show love for work odd. Wanted to get your thoughts on that love. Jackie macmullan matter of fact. I'd love to have her on her as she's retiring they talk about some of her. Greatest is expect greatest experiences and as a female a male dominated business. It's getting better for females as it should. Jackie mcmullan's pioneer man. She's one of the best covering the sport covering all sports for a long time. Opinionated respected fair. I i'd love jackie i do i i when i first saw them like why she retiring she and i who knows you know from. Espn that she made. Maybe she going to ride on the side do that. But she's a. She's a brilliant better at her job and she was surviving and thriving at a time when we weren't given women the opportunity they deserve. And now they're getting more and more of them and jackie's one of those that you say you know what i think like robin roberts. Jackie macmullan and people. Linda cohn for me and suzie call for people that have been around. I think jackie is i mean people have been around doing it for a while before when it was male dominated right now we get and i don't think anybody looks at jackie. Macmullan says oh what she no. I think everybody looks at jack. In muncie hall of fame type career. In my opinion i think jackie's been great so I know you like. I don't know if you read or much mc anytime. She seemed right throughout the years on first or not first. Take around the house kid growing up every afternoon of watch round the horne. Pti yeah jackie. Jackie well-deserved with all the accolades. She's gonna get on our way out and it's retirements where she wants to be. She's damn well earned it. I'm just going to be. I don't want to retire. Because i like her work. Thanks he's really good. Hopefully get maybe. Hopefully she'll write a book and do all that stuff. But i had a fascinating and pretty phenomenal career. So yeah i'm i'm ali in i just when people retire lotta times. It's good ones who retired dot com. Gosh i i need more jackie so yeah great question. I'm glad you asked that. And if you don't know much about jackie macmullan go go do some searching and research and she is. She's had an impressive career. So good luck to her sportstalk. Seven ninety charles adams next the legal side of the deshaun watson case. We'll discuss bill quarterback john time french. Show salisbury this. Is the sean salisbury. Show our number three sports. Talk seven hundred. We gotta treat here. This segment would be far above our pay grade. If in fact we were just discussing it so we bring in somebody far smarter. Big angry law On twitter you can see him on fox twenty six in houston on that television making the case you can hear him here on iheartradio around the country also. Kp rc radio. "All get opposition from this. Don't care about the dusty baker situation managerial decisions. Like coaches decisions are paramount. There's no doubt and it doesn't matter when those decisions are made from spring training all the way to the postseason everything in between about the feel and the analytics of go and the combination of both win. The go to a guy is he overused wind to pinch hit when we should run a should you butler situation. Do you talk about these things. If there's a runner on second and two outs and do we send him. Regardless there are situations where guys just go and guys how are creatures of habit at what they do we all are and sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't listen. They're not playing good baseball. And it it falls always on the leaders of your organization falls on your manager falls on your head coach and then it filters down to your best players and we always do even if the team loses the i will would create. I'm always looking at what did create or to vegas in a game or bregman. What he's i always am. I'm not and then. I'm looking for okay. Those other guys that contribute. Chris middleton in an nba finals. What would you honest do. Oh yeah with the all. Drowning and chris middleton step their game. Okay oh now. I get it so i'm looking at just like anything when you prioritize your day from your a list you'll be all the way to see sees the listed can wait the priorities at the top and a manager goes into every game i would imagine knowing what the eight priority is. Sometimes it works. sometimes. It doesn't but i never the guy ever even take back to when i played there plenty of times when a coordinator called play that i would've liked something else now. I got two choices. I can change the play and call comfortable with and just pissed us deal with them on the sidelines. And if it doesn't work you get cut out. If it works he says why did you change it. You tell them and they live with it and if you don't change the play and it works well then you say okay. He's pretty smart or executed. If you don't change the play and you make a poor decision that ain't on the coach right. And that's why i feel about this. There's plenty of times when i thought nanna third and four. I would rather do this than this. So you either change changing rod. Both the line of scrimmage you run the play and you can almost feel in the huddle when players like now man. We had some. They all have something else in mind. You trust what you've worked on all week. But at no time at any point time whether it was brian billick or tom bore or ralph regenerative north turner who called play and they put the ball in. Your hands is a quarterback. Have i ever said we all get into you. Know battle with our coaches over stuff. We'd like to go in at time. I walked over. So that's your fault. That interception happened now. Because i do reserve the right to vote out amounts so when all is said and done regardless. If you didn't like the blake taylor decision and now tailored pitch four games in a row. Knee went to these worn out. It's like w doing that. Just a stupid choice right so if you trust if you i'm talking about an in any situation when you overuse are somebody's got a pulled hamstring and you're stealing him right. Those are just dumb. Decisions might thing. Is that while we may disagree and like somebody else. If you're gonna go and the players on your roster get paid for reason. And i know we'll differ we. I mean we wanted something different. But i understood why the blade of just using him as an example at what point in time to dusty baker have the ball in his hand. He did not is tailored to go out and pitch. There's no denying that i wouldn't have. You're talking about the looking for you because the three better minimum sucks we all gorse thing needs to go and it's not going to unfortunately and it's just it's it's it's a joke to the game. You should be able to use pitchers whenever you want to use them. It's basically yeah exactly. It's exhausting at the games aren't taking three and a half hours. Who gives a crap at this point that people who don't wanna watch take to bed. I'm seriously they to me. It's about the match up there. The analytics for benintendi tell you that. He's better against lefties in writings. And i know that one hundred dosier is a guy that barely hitting of two hundred this year behind him and he's not hitting lefties all that well compared to rise. But it's a difference of seven points in the batting average two. Oh two oh nine. Not much analog but the analytical the analytics tell you that blake taylor struggles massively against right so say gets benintendi out. One hundred dollars is still likely to go. Because because right he's hitting over three hundred against taylor and there's one thing and dosier can still do it's credible over the fence. Guess what you can't do on a three better minimum. You can't take him out. So that's why i didn't like i don't like the decision. There's there's layers october decision. That would have happened. Because i'd have to look pass the first batter to like. I don't like him against those. Are there and you saw the result. The question is would you rather have stanic. Going against a lefty. Then a righty dior taylor. Going against a lefty. and righty. that's what you have to think in your mind right. Yeah i mean when you talk about three hundred men and you guys harassment. If there's one thing that does defaults to unfortunately sometimes too is the love for lefties. Yengo guaranteed getting guys out. That's i like. Blake taylor taylor's solid. I think he's your best left handed option you have brooks rallies terrible. They don't have a guy if they don't let it had came in through ninety five or more. I'd say okay. Town throws ninety one. Not on the roster. Yeah he's just not. Yeah it's it it is but but the point is and you're right as we all. Are we all going question. It the thing is. I always from me. Maybe it's because i haven't been in the situation. The accountability decision making yes falls on the manager but once the decisions made blake. Taylor can't be walking amount. that can man. I thought he would go into the other guy. Can't you gotta go out there and you gotta make your base for all of it right. Yeah that's just the way. It is so the accountability falls on all of them. But let's not discount. The player with the ball is hand or the bat in his hand. When you swing it a three one pitch out of the strikes on by two feet. You're yuli unusually clear at dusty fall. The end of the day does come back to the players. Shouldn't it baseball is. The is the the sport with the least consequence from our manager from a different decision maker. It comes down to the players doing their job and last night straight h. They've not done their job right. They've gone after all teams played teams that they have more talent then and they've gone. They've lost right now. Like i said like in anything. It goes back to stock options. Go down to company could very well be. You got a great plan in place but the people implementing the plant. Your middle managers vice may not be very good. Yeah you think they are not very good but who do we looked at. We don't find the guy that's go right to the top and that's what's going to happen here but dusty baker didn't swing at one pitch last night didn't didn't just hit a single last night. We used to have these fights during the aj. Hinch air to people go piss. Get pissy about the offense going into the tangle. Does he swing the bat. It's not him no he doesn't truth now. Let you argue with the lineup. That he puts out there now. Dente falls on a manager. Nasim dugout but when it set he ain't making plays behind second.

"And i don't know if it was born by his attorneys hubris or his just refusal to pay but it sounds like he should have paid very early and kept us very quiet and got a nondisclosure agreement. Because i do think this'll be the end of his career career. You mean not just here you talk about you. Think charles with this. That is football career done. I think there's a you know we have you know. There was a time in america where predators on women would just be swept under the rug especially if they were famous especially if they were a tremendous athlete. I mean i'm sure you remember that for your time. Doubts athletes in the country. Right and i think that has changed. I think it has turned. I think we no longer have an incredible tolerance. You know i was. I was surprised at the sentence of the child molester. Former pittsburgh pirates li-pei basket only getting two to four years earlier in this week. But i think generally we're just not going to. He'll never play. And i i just i think there's a good chance of the nfl. Does it the right by. This'll probably be the end of his career. There's also a chance that it won't be Rusty could pay everybody under the table. This could all go away and you know it's not your traditional sexual assault. It's not an allegation that he actually went and grabbed the woman off the street or rape them or the pittsburgh pirate pitcher. I think his name nightmare vasquez. He you know right. The thirteen year. Old girl trim. Our stuff is just horrifying. Either you know choking alleged choking her out and then avery raping. I mean it's just. It boggles the mind. Shawn's on the spectrum doesn't it's not as bad i guess but it still sexual assault and i don't care how could you can throw a ball. And he is. He was obviously a future hall of famer in going to be the texans greatest quarterback and one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of houston but i think this is individual. And i just don't think we as americans have an appetite for predators on women anymore. Charles adams joins us here on seven ninety shots osborne. Show all right. Let's say for talking sake since we weren't there that none of it's true and you're you're making a decision on this. What should happen to people like this if this is all if obviously on the other side if there was if it's all false accusations how what kind of accountability we put on. Not only not just tony but though the accusers what kind of account about should they bear. I don't have any accountability attorney. The attorney has people come into office and says hey. This is what happened right. You operate on the assumption unless you have affirmative evidence that they're lying you operate on the assumption that they're telling the truth. When in the show definitely definitely hard to say goodbye to a to forty years of time with the crew especially through the plastic mask in the and the six feet apart in the ended ice and ask. it's a little challenging to you. Know you don't get to give the big the big massive hug but you really want to know. I know and and i thought i saw a recent clip of the bull type that had a little easter egg for fans of your other show the office. Of course were you drinking out of a thunder mifflin mug on the show. That's right that's right we did. We had a lot of a lot of fun with that. The writers like. I don't know i think maybe in the last season maybe it's time we throw a little something that what are you saying. I like it. I like those are great anything else you can. Tease fans with that will see in the final three episodes. Well just that. I think i think everyone will be pleased with the way the story lines wrap up and how the characters for to find their way. Nothing is you know. It's not all wrapped up neatly with a bow. But i do think that i would call it. A happy ending for the characters can ask for more than that. And i saw on your i g. You teamed up with a few very important charities..

"Have fun and all and try anything. You know what steve was always just like you know just so ready with the bat you know to hit the ball however chain and and i think we both had a lot of fun with that i mean i would hope he would say that he did. I certainly had a great time with him. I mean it's funny. Because i just started thinking about how so much yes as you said especially early on but really throughout the show how connected you were with steve. And how so much almost unlike most of the rest of the show. You guys played one on one quite a bit. So most of your experience wasn't really with the entire ensemble again particularly early on. But really with steve. Yeah yeah it really was and that was very interesting. That was very interesting. I felt you know what. I felt that i think even as time went on there was sort of a sense of not belonging there for a long long time really. I don't think i ever felt like i belong really But i think that's probably by virtue of the of the The way that it was written. But that's not to say that. I didn't enjoy in love. Everybody feel like everybody. You know enjoyed me i did. I don't know. I just felt like the little like the team. The klan like you guys were in the office every day together You know. And i wasn't i would pop in and out and when i did it was always. It was mostly that kind of more private thing. Which was maybe by design because is kind of an outsider. I mean the other thing that that occurred to me. Is you know we've done a lot of conversation about the cast of this show and how different it was at this time and place specifically that our show started to break the mold and they really sort of leaned into these are real ordinary people who are working in an office specifically in scranton pennsylvania and it felt like to me that year you you and your character though like maybe it. Was you being like a new york person right like you always seemed and looked felt a little more put together a little more you know which really contrast it in a way with with everyone else. Who was who was in the office. Right right yeah. i think that's true. And and and i remember that that was even somewhat of a of a of a struggle with greg. Greg daniels Talking a little bit about that even with me and with the costume designer and With the makeup and hair people. You know he's to say a lot you know like make sure she's not too pretty make sure she's not you know like don't brush her to take you know. Take the makeup down a little. Or or he's sort of. And he grappled with you know why would why would michael be with someone that looks like and felt like jan like how would he get someone like her and that was like that was i just think being on his radar because you really wanted it to feel really real and really documentary really like really peaking in on this You people's lives. And i think i think that was just always the same for him and he was always tracking data and he would talk to me always wanted to know what i thought about that. Why would she be attracted to someone like that. And i had lots of reasons. You know i i for me. It was easy to figure that out. But but that's my job. You know part of my job actor and certainly as a working actor for as long as i was. You have to find a way to win your mind. Justify kind of anything that that's thrown at you so i i'd gotten very good at knowing.

"I am your host as always ryan. Baumgartner on the podcast today as you just heard. We have the insanely talented malaria. Malaria is an incredible actor and probably more than anyone else in the cast. Acting and show biz was in her blood. Both of her parents worked as actors and she herself started out a child actor. She starred she didn't just appear she. Starred in a tv show called thunder when she was ten ten years old so by the time we filmed the pilot. Laura was definitely the most established performer on set and now moore played kind of unique role in the ensemble right. I mean she was the the big boss who rolls in from new york every once in a while. She's not there in every episode but she brought so much to the show in that role especially in terms of her dynamic with steve carell which was so hilarious. And well obviously something we discussed at length during this conversation unfortunately because of covid. I couldn't sit down with malaria in the studio but even just talking to her by phone was an absolute treat for me and so therefore now a treat for you so here she s malaria harden we.

"To brooklyn nets are so good. It's a little unfair. They play the next monday and they weren't getting enough stops in the first half. This is what makes them so dangerous. They could keep an offensive crater. Like hardin in the game steve. Nash did and he said you know. Let's get all d. around him. The bringing bruce brown. Nick claxton to get the d.
