This ought vixen that sentence I know but The engineers want certain that it will stay up there. I mean bridges still fall down today. We know that and British fell down a lot. Then the biggest bridge, the heaviest bridge ever built the biggest art bridge ever built. No one had ever done it, so they were flying by the seat of their pants and the guys that were up there you know. Some of them were one hundred and forty meters above the water. Safety equipment so equipment and I think they had the would safety in Thirty Nine Hundred Thirties late twenty s. they were hanging by one hand with massive rivet guns, crawling in and out of this, and that they'll riding up and down on crimes. Sixteen people lost their lives building the bridge. And what's surprising about that is that it's such a small number when you consider. How dangerous was this? Right structure was untethered eight swayed in the brays it rose, rose up and down. Kelly was one of the work on the bridge Kelly was was bolting in the roadway so fortunately for Kelly. He's only fifty meters about the water where he's working and he's working one of these great rivet guns. Were the biggest rivets in the world that built everything was big about sitting. You took work where you could get it. He slipped up. Kelly was interesting because he was a high dive, he. A couple of other fellows had slipped into the water and had been killed. He pointed toes eklof sees hands above his head. Spear like? He was slightly off line. Slightly offline, and that resulted in six broken ribs. The Vince was pretty tough. Vince swam to a nearby barge got up and said. I think I can go back to work the bosses. I'm not. Kidding the bosses. Might not today just go down and have a little medical checkup. What about the boy on the Horse, I mean apparently according to the accounts from the time Lenny road directly into the fire, and was blinded by the smoke and had no idea where he was going i. mean that's been a terrifying thing for the boy. And these were bad fires is I burnt through four mill towns and nine people were killed very closed to wear. Lenny was riding that day, so he? He was lucky to actually get through. All of that made him think twice about this undertaking with thought maybe bitten off more than he could. Have to ask Lenny that he didn't really. He kept going kept going. "What what's what happened with you the end of twenty thousand how was that for you are so I jumped on an airplane on the night of the twenty fourth and I got off of that airplane on the morning of the twenty sixth. So I did not have a Christmas literally just didn't have day of Christmas, which was interesting. Thing. I guess I'd never really knew. I never really know. That was a possibility. I'm not a big Christmas fan. I think I made that clear before percents fan. No. It's like it's kind of hard. When there are these holidays that bring people together, and I'm like, okay. Well, I guess I'll just go hang on my friends or something like that. And my mom's birthday is Christmas day. And so it's just like. More more emotions all that kind of stuff. And both my brothers are the twenty third and the twenty seven so December typically as a kid who's a pretty busy month for us. But I didn't really have a Christmas. I what did I do on the airplane ice? I slept. I really like celebrate didn't really drink anything. They didn't give us special cake or anything like that. But. Like mary. I guess I remember the the the flight attendants were all dressed, very festively. But. Yeah. And then for new years, what did we do? So I I've a lot of well not a lot. I like four or five friends that live in Sydney, and we're traveling through sitting that are from America. So it was nice little of like meet up with them and catch up with them. I was not sick. I got all dapper. I wore button up shirt, which is very rare for me. I instead of going out and getting drunk at a club. I decided to try to take my drone out and like fly my drone over the fireworks on the Harbour Bridge. But that kind of ended that ended up being mass because there's like Joan blockers or something like that. And it kept blocking the signal. I can't like losing my drone. So I was like lugging around this like thousand dollar plus drone on they long. And I didn't even get the shot that I wanted to. So I was going to bump by that. But. I had an ears kiss. Just like you way. Is that the story that you want it? You said you had a story to tell was at the story. I I do have a story to tell. But I just think that I'm going to not tell it. You're not going to tell it at all. Are you going to be like mean waited out for a couple of episodes? I don't I don't know. I don't know. It was a story that I was informed of about about, you know, it's about an ex. Really has been just plugging my mind. I wanna talk about it. I do wanna talk about it with you off air. Name names. You don't have to give the whole story. But okay. Well, it sounds like you had a really good time in Australia about store. Like like, I said this. I was just like informed of some things, and it really just kind of ate away at me. Was it something that you found out that happened while you were in a relationship with this person or? Oh, yeah. Bad stuff. First of all who. Okay. Well, I want to get into this. And I don't want to get into your story. I want to get into is there. A point in knowing useless information, if you're not in that relationship anymore. You know, I would say, no. But it's funny because I was told this news. I saw this information. And I was like, oh, I don't care, and then I found myself thinking about like an hour later, and then like a daily later, and then a week later, and I was like, wow. I actually like this really is affecting me a lot more than I thought it was going to was it affecting you because it was your ego for I don't know what the story is. But I'm assuming your ego was bruised. I don't know because I don't really have. I haven't ego. I don't know everyone has an ego. It was a lot of frustration. I think that's what it really boiled down to. And I don't really get frustrated and annoyance as a very annoyed and frustrated, and then my mind was like elsewhere. I'm like trying to enjoy the Gold Coast of Australia like one of the most beautiful places in the world..

The other is when people are marketing to me like no, the audience, I seen a lot of movies in my career. I probably know how the end. So please respect that. That's probably the other one which the riskiest thing you've ever done. I am Akra phobic horrifically Akra phobic and last year I climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and there were two points in that climb where I had a straight view right down to the water and froze. And I knew. Do that if I didn't get over myself, I was going to hold up the other people in my group, and I was going to cause the Klein leader to have to deal with me and I had to force myself through my fear. How'd you do it? I didn't give myself a choice. I just mentally force myself to do it because I didn't want to embarrass myself and then I found out, wow, that wasn't so bad. But that was terrifying to me. I was freaking out before I did it, but I didn't tell anybody I was freaking out before I did it. I just force myself to do it. What teaching from your parents as most stayed with you respect? Imagine if we had more respect for each other first sells for country for. Everything, how much better it would be importance of respect. What information do you read that you get a lot out of that other people might not know about? I'm a student of history, but I love to read it through the biographies of the people who are part of the history. So rather than reading a history on the founding of our country, I read the biographies of each of the founding fathers, and that was far more interesting to me because I learned about them as people and that's what biographies give you. Great. All right. Last one. What life lesson you learned that you wish you knew a lot earlier in life trust your gut? I would say that ninety eight percent of decisions are based on my gut. And I spent a lot of time in analysis paralysis when I already knew the answer and I could've saved all that time Ross. Thank you so much for taking the time. We'll thank you. Ted, it's been a pleasure. Hey, before you take off, I've started sending out a monthly Email, the chairs, small selection of caught my eye over the month. "So without them i don't have anything to sell on on the other hand people are always looking for things to do they the you know the economy up bingo that going that well they might not be able to afford a holiday but they might lash out and say well let's go and have a special dina all on the harbour oh let's gone climb the sydney harbour bridge war uh so we said about attracting nearly two thousand small businesses of which we marketable neighbor half but it's so delightful to see the impact of being able to provide the contained two massive consumer audiences and when you hear all of you know the person who proposes marriage to their loved one on a rebel inexperience soul the guy who was took his eighty four yearold father on a day say three flight and said his father was excited like a little boy going to a birthday party and out job is just to make that really really easy to connect the small business directly into a consumer and a customer who is taking things off their bucket list and hanging out with the people i love so it's a it's a very simple business model but very hard to copy well going out just just in case you're wondering but i think what's difficult to get not to go down that path is ito as more companies say i'm gonna compete on the experience i provide my customers.
