"7 point lead. Alright that's Tony Cassasoni from there Learfield. Washington hangs on to beat Utah 35 -28. So we actually saw the tail end of this play here Ephraim where the ball was intercepted and it then was dropped. Dropped right at the 1. Right at the 1. The ball just stood at the 1 yard line. Recovered by Utah but then their first play they tried a straight handoff and it just got dropped for the safety. Washington hangs on for the 7 point victory. Once again this is Fox Football Saturday. Steve Harbony from Salaam with you. We are live from the TireRack .com studios and as we speak Ole Miss has jumped out on top of Georgia 11th place 75 yard drive extra point is good so just like that 7 -0. This is an Ole Miss team ranked 9th in the playoff poll. They're 8 -1 Jackson Dart getting some big play passes in that drive so again we've been talking about Georgia this team is not as good as the Georgia team we've seen the last two years. Well no I mean those guys are all playing tomorrow. Right exactly. The to 25 30 percent of their teams the last two seasons are now playing on Sundays and having huge impacts on Sundays so they were basically essentially men amongst boys just ragdolling college kids on their way to the NFL and it's going to take some time. Georgia is still considered one of the top teams if not the top team in the country but it's there is no Stetson Bennett who had been there forever there's it's no defensive front seven who you know all first round draft picks in second round draft picks from the linebacker corps so it'll take some time they're still undefeated and they still have an opportunity to represent the SEC in the college football playoffs. I'll tell thing you one though if it does come down to a Georgia Alabama game as well as Milro is playing right now a quarterback look out. That's gonna be good. After that loss to Texas early Alabama seems to be getting better and better and better and better. It's the same thing I mean you look at the Heisman winners that are now in throwing passes the NFL it's going to take some time like you said they've gone through two three quarterbacks this year coming back to the original starter coming into the season they just needed to figure out what they had and they used the early part of the season they just ran into a team that was pumped up and ready to go and beat them. The highlight game in college football today was the Michigan Penn State game it happened early Michigan dominated throughout in fact they ran the ball the last 30 plays from scrimmage. The second half they didn't throw a pass. Six of a passing for their previously Heisman candidate JJ McCarthy and they ran the ball down the throat of Penn State I believe they had something like 265 yards on the ground they get the victory. I want to ask you this. I love those types of games by the way. By the way and I'm gonna get a little siding on it because I saw this headline and I got to throw this at you. With your 13 years in the NFL a lifetime on that offensive line. Micah Parsons the NFL needs more officials they missed too many blatant holding calls. Coming from one of the best pass pressures edge guys in the NFL. So as a guy who was 13 years in the trenches in the National Football League. When you hear an edge guy like Micah Parsons saying yeah we need more officials because you're constantly missing holding calls on the field. Your response. Sway. Come on man get out of here with that if I care about all that. Suck it up. You know I was watching highlights from an old time NFL game back in the 60s. An old -timey game. And where the offensive linemen still had to keep their to hands their chest. Oh God Art Shell used to talk about that all the time. I mean basically. We used to have to block like this. And you had to position your body you couldn't extend your hands. Couldn't extend your hands holding. We get it Art. We get it. Yes we get it. We get it. Could you have done that? Of course you could. No. What? It's a terrible way to try to block someone. Awful. Well you have to use your body then. You can't use your hands. No. No. And yet the defensive guys. Oh they could use their hands. They could head slap you. They could head slap you. Deacon Jones the head slap your brain out. I told you that. of Hall Fame Bob Brown was an offensive tackle one of the all -time greats. He got so tired of Deacon with the head slap he actually had a screw that he went through the side of his helmet and I know this happened because Deacon once showed me his hand. Deacon did the head slap and the screw which was protruding from the helmet ones right through his hand. He showed me the scar in the middle of his head because my hand was stuck on his helmet. Oh those are the good old days. I want to get back to Jim Harbaugh for a second here. All right Harbaugh so will sit out the rest of the regular season as far as Michigan is concerned. No mention of the Big Ten championship game. No mention of a potential playoff appearance. That of course is not under the jurisdiction of the Big Ten. Remember that the playoff is a different beast. That being said the talk about Jim Harbaugh returning to the NFL. I just wanted to get your thoughts on how good a coach is Jim Harbaugh. So the reason I say that is look the last couple of years they were in the playoff. I still don't know how they lost that game to TCU. That was not pretty especially after TCU then got blasted by Georgia in the championship game. But if you're a Mark Davis with the Raiders and you have an opportunity to hire Jim Harbaugh and everything you get with Jim Harbaugh and if you thought he was set in his ways maybe turning off a few people in San Francisco when he left the 49ers to go to Michigan. He's even more set now. So what do you think of Jim Harbaugh's head coach? Track record he can coach. So it's what are you willing to give up? What are you willing to deal with as an owner when you bring someone in like Jim Harbaugh? He's gonna want to run things his way. It's gonna be expensive. But what you know you get is a real coach. Someone who can work with a quarterback. Someone who can run a team. Someone one players guys like to play for. But you're gonna have to have control. some Well we were just talking about the Belichick way. I mean coaches that want too much control. I mean there isn't a coach out there that doesn't want total control. Believe me. But that doesn't exist. Doesn't exist. Right. But the more story the more. But returning to the college game the way he did. Where you do have the kind of control that you can have never at the NFL level. No you can't. Right. Is he a different coach than he was when he was with the 49ers? Well I wouldn't say he's a different coach. I mean he's on everywhere he's coached. That is true. So if you're the Raiders need winners. The Raiders need a change of culture. Well he brings credibility into that locker. And that's what you want. You can't continue to lose now. What will happen is we have to see how Antonio Pierce finishes out. Because if he has those guys playing they played last week. Then you might want to roll the dice there. You don't want to have another situation where guys have ceased and excited about an interim coach. And you go in a completely different direction. And remember the money still owed Josh McDaniels. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. I heard Mark Davis getting all this money from him. He doesn't have that money. No. I promise you he doesn't. Between him and the GM that's 85 million dollars. 85 million dollars? Yeah man. know.

"If you can, it's Aaliyah DiCaprio, Tom Hanks movie directed by Steven Spielberg. It's awesome. If you want to watch it, it's actually on HBO Max in a couple other places. But that's coming Monday night. Keep an eye on the prestige TV podcast as well. Because not only are we breaking down the last of us and poker face, but we're going to start running Succession hall fame episodes starting. This week, we did one from season one. If you remember from, I think last year at 18 months ago, we did the safe room episode from season two, which I think is the best one. Out of the three seasons, but maybe you heard the news Succession, they're wrapping up. This is the fourth and last season coming at the end of March. So we are going to be ready for it with podcasts on the prestige TV pod as well as the watch and we're going to have some hall of fame episodes. Leading up to season four, the final season of Succession. So there you go. So we recorded this podcast during most of the clippers nuggets game. I actually got to watch most of the fourth quarter and then the overtime. The nuggets, one by ten, it was an awesome game. Kauai looks like two way coag and he really does. He had 33, but he's just all over the place on both ends. He was punishing Jamal Murray. He was going at jokic. It was really great. And then jokic was spectacular. He finished 40 17 and ten. And I think what's amazing about the season is happening. We talked about it a little bit later in the podcast about embiid is inching closer to him in the MVP stuff. But then Yoko, she'll just have another game like tonight. The consistency of him. This is what I grew up with with the guys like bird and magic and MJ where you just night after night after night, you would look at the newspaper, you would say today and you'd be like, oh, magic had 19, 20th, and 15 rebounds. And you just wouldn't even blink. And that's the stage jokic has gotten to. He looks, you watch some of these games. He's got cuts all over him. This game had 7 bloody cuts. He looked like Mick Foley after a hell in the cell match or something, but just the way he dissects these teams. It's so much fun to watch. That right RICO has JJ Redick at the end of the game today. He was like, what stands out about jokic two and JJ said, the patients, and I completely agree. That's what even 30 seconds left, 45 seconds left, 15 seconds. He's always like dissecting. You know, we already had the doctor, Julia servant, but is another kind of a doctor. He's just dissecting the game constantly. Always making the right decision. Today is 14 for 21 and 12 for 15 from the line. It was a tough loss for the clippers. It's a lot of Marcus

"All right, $1 million picks. Round two, we won $709,000 last week. If you include last year's playoffs, we are up 5.3 $6 million in 5 playoff rounds. Pretty good trigger. Not bad. We really like this week. In fact, we like that so much. We had trouble figuring out what pets were going to make and how to make them and do the whole thing. Tennessee is favored by modest three and a half over the Bengals. What are we worried about in this game triggs? We're worried about Cincinnati just having Joe burrow being this magician and being able to go on one of these great runs as a quarterback and saying Alan mahomes get out of the way. That's all I'm worried about. Otherwise I love Tennessee in this one. And we're worried about the backdoor cover. That was supposed to be your first answer. Yeah, we think borough is like in that Josh Allen when he tasted the playoffs for the first time kind of crossed with Josh Allen last year. Somewhere in between those two things, a little worried about it going against him, but love this Tennessee team. Love that nobody believes in us factor. There can come back resilient team, their home. Nobody thinks they should even be the one seed. Perfect. We'll take them at $400,000. On the Tennessee Titans. Minus three and a half. We're going to bet $200,000 on the San Francisco forty-niners, plus 5 and a half in Green Bay. We laid out the case, I think this is the best team in the NFC. I think they can win the game outright. If they don't, I think it's a tight game. Packers, we're special teams. Not only in the playoffs in the league. There are 32nd, 22nd defense. I got some guys coming back, but in general, this is the perfect type of team. To beat the packers in cold weather in Lambeau do you agree? Yes, Kyle Shanahan has these guys dialed in. He has also worked with all of the coaches in Green Bay, knows Joe Barry's defense inside and out. And when they get debo Samuel going, everyone knows it's going home and yet the whole entire offense commits to creating those opportunities. When they played in week three, debussy, it did nothing out of the running back spot. I think he's going to do a whole bunch and good luck stopping it. No one else has. We're going to have a prop with this because we also like Elijah Mitchell in this game because he's shown some size as well. All right, hundred K on the following bets. Chiefs. Minus one and a half. Let's go. We think this line should be chiefs by three. We love that the bills are the everybody believes that his team from last round that everybody has Josh Allen headed to the all time quarterback hall fame, including myself. I did it with Sal. I was like, who'd you rather have? Mahomes are all and I think I'd rather have Josh Allen mahomes here's all this. Oh yeah, mahomes has his spies. He has his ears. He's like, oh, oh, Josh Allen, it's a guy. I'm not the guy anymore. I'm out. What did I do? Oh, I did was I made the Super Bowl twice. I won one of them. I made the AFC title game. Got screwed over by D four it. I would have made it that year, too. I'm out. I'm out. I'm Pat Mahomes. How about who's this guy? Anyway, we like the chiefs. We love jet McKinnon. We like his work. We enjoy him. In general, chiefs minus one and a half. It's a dogfight. We like having the home team. And again, it's really hard for road teams to win. Last ten years, that 9 of the last 40, we've seen the road team win. So that can not be slept on and round two. It's very hard for the road team to win. If this game wasn't buffalo, I might go a different way. I just don't think mahomes hill Kelsey, Andy raiding those guys are ready to just give that torch to Josh Allen and the bills just yet. I'll add in last week was a masterpiece from the bills. It was the greatest offensive performance we've seen from that team. Brian davell put it on national television. Can you replicate that? You might have to against this team. And lastly, to your point with mahomes, Allen goes out there. There's 5 touchdowns, runs for 70 yards, perfect game. Sunday Night, mahomes throws for 400 yards, 5 touchdowns, hold my beer. I don't think he's ready to go quietly into the night and just be a part of the Josh Allen's story just yet. It's a hold my beer game for Pat Mahomes. I like it. All right, we're putting a hundred K on the chiefs minus one and a half, and on the rams plus three, we fight this a field goal game. There's a lot of signs that we talked about earlier in the pod with the bucks that things just.

"And he's like what tires should i do. And it's like even the big dogs are still questioning. And they're trying to make sure they got everything in line and everything's dialed. Everything's ready to go. And i get stoked on that i. I love that aspect of bike racing every form so anyways past that besides the bike racing at big sugar. There's always some cool events going on. There's always something going down. What else do we have to expect. Big sugar well. The best part about big sugar is the outer bike festival goes on simultaneously so all the registering for big sugar. They're gonna walk through outer bike while they register And an outer bike man the demos galore and it is kinda promptly mountain bike bogus. The demo Bikes for gravel out. There they'll be some road. Bikes for the people condemn. Oh and all sorts of brands will be demoing I know a specialized shows up with a lot of e bikes as well although yet it's It's a family affair outer bike now. Yeah that sounds like a fun time But anyways so we're coming up on on some time but i got one last question for you and i never. I never prep anyone for this question. And the reason is because. I love the off camber spontaneous answer. Because if you think about it you're just going to pick somebody generic but if you don't think about it it's going to be in the moment so if you could have a cup of coffee with one individual and if you don't drink coffee you can do scotch whisky beer. t- water. I don't care but if you can have a cup of coffee with one individual who would that individual be and why would you have coffee that individual dead or alive there you go well. My individuals not alive anymore. So there you go drink coffee. I'm say pablo picasso. Oh okay. I'm not an artist. I don't have any of those talents whatsoever. I don't play any musical instruments. But i do have an eye for the whack out there. I see behind. See something behind you too man. That's one of my wife's friends does some artwork. That's like a. I'll show it to you. Said basically a disaster on the trail at you'll see to mount lake day with a flat tire on the trail of in bella vista. So yes so guys if you not list or if you just listening to us on spotify watching us on youtube he's got this amazing painting it looks like it's got a bike tire and all this other cool stuff but it's very abstract colorful in. Yeah it's it's super cool. Superfund yes so. The bike pump She had to repair a flat. So you can see. The tube is outside of the tire. The tire lever than goo exploding everywhere. Rapper in tire boo. Yeah no that's sick. You know see. That's why i asked the question on the fly man. It's like you get answers like that and they become much more authentic and genuine and yes how would how so you said. You don't know if you drink coffee. So what would you have with this individual man. I would do for sure an alcoholic beverage for a stout beer or go pretty tasty where i could pretend intellectual with them there. You go no. That's perfect man. Well no that's awesome So guys thank you so much for coming back and listening. This is nat ross complete legend. If you're going to be a big sugar make sure you go say them because this episode will be out right before big sugar. He'll be out running around probably like a chicken with his head. "Of a preview event lifetime brought out a lot of folks just to kind of test the waters inness landscape and see how the women would fair How we would get more women into this event and it took kind of a a really good weather day to test it out a big sugar. Which means skies opened up. It was wet for october. It was really cold weather with creek crossings and one hundred eight miles of enduring pain so a lot of these writers. Now that are prepared for this year's event thanks to the test event that lifetime did are they know the elements out there. it could be cold folks could get hypothermic. There's the aid station. Of course can get you. Go in and do what you need to do. But it is a chunky course in terms of gravel in very demanding with the climbing so a lot of folks if they're prepare and paid attention to all the prep work that earlier had been done by athletes. They're good to go there showing up and just throw it up in the air and see what happens. It's gonna be a long day. So what's your pirelli tyre choice. Yeah good question. So the pirelli took the rata which stands for belted. That is the gravel tire. That is a wicked fast. There's too treads The h. Which may may not be the best idea. Unless you're more of your slick right. That is more of a slick and plus you're fantastic bike and or may not be the tire choice. So i would go with a forty five with okay so many widey. Yeah we do. Etr te'o pirelli as fdr te'o standards that sync up with the rims and a lot of european and general global manufacturers. Are doing that now. So we make a forty five and a forty. And i would not go anything less than a forty and i personally would be on forty five chin toronto gravel mixed so lots of tread And brand new tires with a lot of sealant awesome awesome. Yeah maybe even bring some extra sealant unplug you know. Can't it can be the best tire in the world. Rocks sometimes can take them out. So that is true. And i'm jonathan. Yeah you've seen it you know. And then the weather wants to the rocks get sharp. It happened in australia. Offroad mountain bike race in our bentonville So many tires were victims. So many racers showed up. And if it's wet rocks get sharp yen so you have prediction. Can you make a prediction being the co founder for the men and the women. No you can't you can't you know and i'm also one of the ones that doesn't look at the weather either so i just talked about it yet. I don't look at the weather. And i can't make it prediction for you but you can. Yeah yeah so well let me let me ask you this. Who who should we look out for in the man and who should we look out for in the women we have. I think i heard nielsen palaces. Potentially coming right correct. Yeah so so. I'll just i'll just say that i was talking to a bike racer today. That was extremely prepared for the event by the name of ason. And i'm just going to say that although i can't predict anything Racers that are prepared like payson things are going to have. We'll see i. I'm not gonna lie 'cause you know what the whole reason of me starting these uci trade. Team i i get really excited about pacing and impede especially like how serious they take some of these races because i mean even pete he was at the race rebecca berry rebbe michigan which they used to just be like your podunk town. Dan hughes yuri oswald before like really took off and got popular. And i'm not taking away from their wins. I'm not saying that. They won because nobody showed up because obviously they showed up and they race really hard but they will forever be in the book. And the list of names of ian boswell collins strickland you go down the list and same with allison petrich and in in the lady side of things too. It's it's gotten legit It's gotten really legit and so Yeah and so that kind of turns us into your founder race big sugar. Yeah that's pretty legit. I mean how did you find yourself a part of that and did you find the racer like how did you grabble crowd. The family finds you right so ironically. Enough my wife at the time was working at We were probably two years into relocating from colorado. To bentonville arkansas. My wife had been talking to the founders of decay. Trying to get them to put an event on in arkansas. What does she do. She said nat spin. That's been putting on of instrument twenty years so Last couple big events. I did were Massive events like five thousand competitors or or riders And let's say like the triple bypass in colorado so I stepped down from doing the big events but My wife amy ross. Said i think that would love to do the event and then the women were doing the women's campaign they said. Let's get a women's ride director. Let's have somebody like nat. Who's put on advance before A help onboard gabby atoms and get her to be the event director and kind of that was the goal for this year. Actually last year but The event as we all know we all skip to season so fascinated. October twenty third. It will be our first annual Big sugar in little sugar event in bitten bill. Nye do that super cool did you. So what's the stats like. I love to have these conversations. I love having i had this before. We we lost markowitz. You know we used to. He used to text me and be like it. Sold out in like ten minutes so like what's the stats right now. For big sugar. How's it. look it yes. So this is lifetime right. So lifetime knows the portfolio. We sold out in under six minutes. the launch date that we opened up registration so it sold out so fast at surpassed the entire teams expectations. It was lightning fast. Now that's amazing and so what what. What do we have to expect for big sugar. What we have coming up. If we're if we're racer coming to big sugar what what should we be expecting. Yeah so you can see. A lot of people are hitting the website trying to figure out just the last minute details at the end of the year. It's clutch right especially this late in october. Keeping the motivation keeping the health. And then just that that extra step fitness. So you've got folks Taken the course out and recon multiple times throwing some straw times out there and and not just want so you're talking to the patients The collins that have come back multiple times to get that landmark because They really want to put their mark on this course But early on when we did kind.

"I had this conversation with meredith miller because and you you're familiar with meredith miller right. Yeah definitely and so what what what. I had the conversation with her. Because i felt like she left the sport as a time where social media was the big. Roi right and so. She was like her era was like the tail end of results based sponsorship. I think and then her name kinda in name started to carry. But do you think that by that switch that pushed good athletes out of the sport. You understand my questionnaire because conversation with meredith and she said yes but what is your opinion. Well it kind of depends on the discipline quite a bit because that switch the good athletes. They're if they're tried and true to their discipline they're going to rise to the top With the proper support maybe they're not aligned with the right brand at the moment or maybe they're just having a bad season or even on a bad team. So there's a lot of factors at play on that but honestly if the athlete has the the wherewithal in your the same way. A lot of folks at that world level taipei personalities driven. No no one's really going to get in the way of what you need to do. And if they do they might be a little bit more determined in you or driven on certain aspects of insa races. So i i would say it depends on the circumstance. She was in the prime with the gals when they were. You really had to put your time in the off season from the training camps on and that formats changing a little bit. Now so these days you could still go to the training camps but you could be active on social media and then helped the team out For certain key events and still be named the roster the next year..

"Is one of those so physique my found the saddle that worked for me I work with the owners on the saddle to try and get those On the factory team that i race and developed a relationship out of boats leone with the family owned company physique at the time And then that was two thousand eight Right after i had retired. I kind of started a consulting project with them on footwear with steve delacruz who came from five ten and we made the first physique footwear kinda came to market. I think in two thousand ten. But i had started as early as two thousand nine on the project now and then and then so then. You're move from physique. Was that to kaskar a couple of steps in between. Yeah so the. The owner of park has named stephan yet. Albert was at the time In stockholm sweden wanting to take three products that he had to the market So he had a cortex. Full-face downhill helmet kneepads and goggles. So so i started bringing with yarka deuba over to north america poc and we started the line so got to sponsor danny mccaskill Trying to grow the athlete boards. Just like i did with you back in the day with cask. That's always kinda near and dear is find the folks that are going to be the shrew diehards of the sport that have it the passion And then help assist those folks get to their goals so a back then was gani mccaskill talk and we kinda launched bike line then got into the road line multiple years later And then i had moved the office to aspirin colorado prior to the acquisition with black diamond so about six to seven years with pock before My shift over back to the italian brands over to cast the handmade helmets in bergamo italy. So no that's awesome man in you know it's interesting that you bring up like list of athletes because this is something that we've talked about on a few podcasts. Prior we had we had the pleasure of having meredith miller on from shimono We had Walker hage from canyon. So we also chatted with him a little bit but sponsorship model you know. I don't think i've had somebody on the podcast that is well experienced as yours been in the industry like in the like working in the industry with the athletes. As long as you have. Because i mean you've since two thousand eight what is that. I'm trying to do quick math here. What's that that's almost twelve years right now. It's thirteen years so thirteen years of seeing the industry change. How nuts is it like. Do you think it has changed drastically and do you think it's going to change again because my biggest conversation you remember when united healthcare and even you know like date back to day backpass united healthcare and what was it You know extra g or something like that where they it was all results based results based and now you could never have raised a bike and be fully supported and sponsored in probably making more money than you ever made on united healthcare. So what what do you think the new sponsorship model and like.

"Wow wow he will be hearing from the justice hive aka me matt. What's up man so no. I'm all in on that. I love it. And i i yeah i think justice winslow can be a really effective playmaker. Still the shooting is really gotta come together for him. Had pockets where it looked like it was coming around and then whether it was injuries or whatever so i think it'll help to play. That would be the most space. I think he's ever had an nba floors if he played with that lineup. So good point. Yeah okay so our next email comes do. Did you before i continue. Did you have any other lineup. Sir we can we move on. I think we're going to move on. Considering we both kind of flouted the rules of the question. We are being asked. Yeah i have like i lied. I like six other ones written down here. I mean there's gonna be some good line-ups the knicks key. You're going to think of the place in interesting items this year. We'll see okay. So email from sean elliott. Hopefully it is that john elliott. Don't think it is Hi mike also yes exactly. Shine elliott writes. Hi michael ronan. Chris with the recent news that clay will likely be out until christmas. Can you think of any other stars. I e all nba caliber players. Who have had as bad of a time with injuries as clay. I'm not a warriors fan. But god it's defeating to hear that we won't get to see a full strength warriors team until december. Sean thank you so much. That was a wonderful question. And i meant to Throw my warriors line-up out and then lead into this question. But i'm just i'm all over the place right now because it's ninety one degrees in my apartment But stood at authroity. I ruined does do any players Kind of spring to my. There's a few obviously will do once. Yeah big one comes to mind for you. That came to my mind that i think maybe everyone else thinks too. But guys who i think like. We're really important in a slightly forgotten. I mean i is amari. Stratemeyer the the microfracture surgery. The knee troubles. He went through at the time. Those sons teams. I think we're absolutely capable of winning a title and you talk about bad luck stretches i mean between the horry bob derogatory bumping amari knees and letting joe johnson walk because of poor ownership like those sons. Were right there and just so snake bitten by crazy. Ron our test shots as you might. He's liable to do some. I shouldn't say crazy. You know out of nowhere. ron test. threes So that was a big one. And then the big one to me in a truly Thank god he's being inducted into hall fame. But chris bosch who i think could maybe should be. Maybe in his entering his last nba season right. Now as opposed entering the hall of fame. Somebody who was playing really really well and his career was cut short by. Obviously it's not. Injury was a medical situation with blood clots. But so unexpected. I mean that he teamed that made it to a game seven against the raptors.

"Rick tittle. U-turn broke my heart. But i still take you back. You hella fine girl you better get in line. Speaking of detroit michigan we have dave landau coming up in the next segment very funny comedian from detour. Lines are available right now though. One eight hundred eight seven play. You know i've gone on and on about what didn't we draft way then. Yeah i wish we have. I say wishes a raider fan. We but apparently has to follow through with a promise that he made. And apparently we're finding out now that tom brady guaranteed victory to his teammates but devon white said before the game if we get the w. i don't care say i m pulling the horse out and i'm going to hold the lombardi trophy and i'm gonna ride her out. Okay so wants. The box got the trophy. White made sure that he wouldn't forget and So it looks like he's gonna do it and And he has because you can see the pictures of him on a horse with the trophy riding around and this is not the first time white has saddled up because the guy who fifth overall pick butkus award winner the pick before it was cleveland farrell before him. But you say get out the horse horse daisy mae. And he would write. Daisy may around tiger stadium. That's lsu's tiger stadium and that horse passed away so he got a new horse. So that's one eight hundred seventy play one eight hundred eight seven eight seven five two nine Emails rick out sports byline dot com. I'm rick what would you trade to seattle to get russell wilson. If he is a favourite ticket traded to the raiders. Listen he. He's not going anywhere he's just not. But what would i give up for. Russell wilson will obviously derek carr has to go the other way that one is assured because of the money situation and also. Because you don't need their car anymore you get up mariota back him up but you know. He's held us russell wilson. He's thirty two. How many years are you going to. You're going to get out of him. I think you'll be just fine. You know if you think about how many touchdown passes he threw this year. Forty remember he was going to be the mvp halfway through the year and then the seahawks took a turn for the worse he was going to be. The mvp is quarterback rating. Every years. over a hundred. I mean should have to super bowl wins. We know that he's very happy with his second wife. What was the name of this. I i think it was like ashton of ashton kutcher. They ciara she's a singer. She's an entertainer and she's older than him. What a scandal. Oh my god when people say oh my gosh. She's taller than her husband so so k. You'll be all right But i mean listen what i give their car number one overall but what. I don't have it. Would i give up the first round. Pick and derek carr wilson. Yes i would. why not. You're gonna get a guy like that. Yeah and who. You're gonna drop them in the first round another cleland furlough anyway. So i wouldn't be too excited about it also. I got an email from a fan. where's it from. Gregory gregory said which one was brady's greatest ever super bowl triumph. Well i think thanks to email by the way rick. Sports bioline dot com. But i think it's i mean people i know we're talking about ho- the one against the seahawks but i mean that's malcolm butler stepping in on a bad call by darryl bevill but i mean you you could say it was the one where he lost where he threw for five hundred and five yards and three touchdowns and no interceptions. But i i gotta go see role fifty one in the third quarter and this is gonna hurt if you're in atlanta flannigan but in the third quarter of that game atlanta's leading twenty eight to three. That is insurmountable. You're down by twenty five points in the third quarter that would be a lot even for pattern mahomes and brady had already thrown a pick six in the game you know. And he had already won four super bowls. He was already gone to the hall fame but the fact that he pushed that game and got that one that to me. I mean come on and could say his first super bowl. You know you the twenty four year old kid with sits and he's filling in for drew bledsoe his first super bowl. What are you throw for. It was less than a hundred and fifty yards and one touchdown that was the over the st louis. Rams he wasn't even that great. I was over the saint. louis rams. Yeah he wasn't even that great he just didn't lose that super bowl you know he didn't do something stupid in the super bowl but yeah so i mean if i have to go for one that would be it one. Eight hundred eight seven play More rumors in the nfl. And you know we're at a point now the super bowls over so people. This is get this rumors. But krista paso the nfl writer was talking about yesterday and he was the one start some rivers. He started a new today. And then let's say these writers do start these rumors. It's not like you get a call from mike mayock and he's like. Hey rick i think we're gonna get russell wilson. Just throw that out there now. He wouldn't call anyway. Call adam schefter. But chris pass on now says that the carolina panthers are going to get this shawn watson for the eighth overall. Pick the second round pick this year so their first two picks this year their first round pick next year their fourth round. Pick twenty twenty two and the corner troy pride and then that the Texans would then try justin field. Teddy bridgewater just signed a big deal to go to carolina. So i would say to chris in this rumor he starting you wouldn't you need bridgewater go other way. So you're gonna have to shawn watson with the most expensive backup. Nfl history.

Hall of Famer, 49ers great Fred Dean dies at 68

"News today. The big story of the day. Fred Dean has passed away. The Hall of Famer and former former 40 Niner great at the age of 68 was due to Cove. It 19 And for those who haven't heard, I want you to talk a bit more about him. But the NFL hall fame tweet this out that it was great his Hall of Fame speech and you're gonna hear Eddie D. And here is well, take a listen. I could consider being born by the truck. But having a renewal life with 49 being would afford it. I found it on the other side of that bridge on the other side. Wass rainbow, true ending of a rainbow. You know, Fred never said much. He was a quiet giant. But when the defense needed him to make a big play way, look to Fred and never let us down. Never no matter what the situation Wass. It's come time to put Fred Deans spectacular career. In historical perspective. First off, he was a pioneer. He was the forefather of the great high Bridge edge pass rushers. He led the way from players like Derek Thomas. Our own Charles Haley. Great Andre Tippett was being inducted today with Fred. And I'd like to say to the returning. A lot of vintage players were winded, please. I'm honored to be with such an elite group of guys is so important. The bottom line is I know I'm not going to cry. Ladies and gentlemen, it is my great honor, which I carry out with enormous personal pride present for induction. Intothe Pro Football Hall of Fame. Quiet, giant natural, great friend. I like to say to all those Here from from rusting. From Beauty college free. I just want I want all my brothers and sisters in price. I was well done. Ah, Eddie here call him the quiet giant and he has such a great Hall of Fame speech. I love and that kind of stuff happens is great. Wow. On how much else to say Eddie was At the induction. Just the words were perfect and, you know When you lose people now can you even have Ah Memorial of Hyun Roh? Howdy eulogized people of so many of our great you're dying and all the sports and Kredyt directly from covert 19, which is Makes it really sad but And he said it all. I mean, he just changed football and you look back on that trade. There was made and in our friend Dan Pfoutch. Maybe listening. He never got to a Super Bowl. He came close, and probably the closest was that year. What if she incline does not trade Fred Dean? To the 40 Niners. For the 40 hunters, you know, go to the NFC championship game in the catch and all that. And in front of the other side of it If the Chargers keep Fred Dean You know, Maybe that game is not at the Ice Bowl in Cincinnati. Maybe it's in San Diego. It's a home game. So Amy look at who won the Super Bowl. That year. That was a trade between two of the top four teams that went to the final 4 40.
