"More enjoy. Enjoy your show. Hey, for the guy who called in with the humidifier that's running all the time. Two inches. One. He could have a bad humidor stat on the furnace so he could dial that down to zero and he could see if it shuts off Might take one or two furnace cycles. Steve, it shuts off and doesn't run. Or he could have a stock solo night stuck open but above And beyond that, um If if he doesn't have a problem with the re staff of the soul, right, those things have you have to adjust Those is this for everybody out there. You have to adjust that rheostat based on the outside temperature, right this week is going to be especially important so I've got the numbers here If people want to write him down real quick, So if it's above 40 degrees outside, you want to set that rheostat it like 45 degrees 45%. Excuse me if it's between between 30 and 39, you said it at 40%. 20 and 29. You said it a 35%. 10 and 19 degrees. You said it at 30%. 0 to 9 degrees. You said it a 25. And then when you start getting the sub zero temperatures 20 to 15 or so and just look at the called joints in your house. Look at your woodwork that joints in your woodwork. Wood floors, look for gaps and then adjusted accordingly. If you start seeing gaps or joint start opening up at a little bit more humidity and then the most important thing like like Glenn Hagi used to say, Windows don't make water looking your windows and see if you got water on your windows. If you do, the humidity is too high. Loris. Those are all great points. Frank and I appreciate you calling with them..

"I got the CBS Sports Network on is a matter of fact, because In Mountain West Action. One of my two collegiate picks today was Thie Aztecs of San Diego State favorite over Utah State. I need this one because my producer Boilermakers early selection. Were up by 21. Midway through the third quarter yesterday. Oh, our essay yet now because it's after midnight earlier today, Ah, and they allowed some late scores, and they ended up on Lee winning By a touchdown against Illinois today, and they were at a point favorite will say Diego states and a point favorite as well, They better not blow this one on me. 31 dead to seven with about eight minutes to go now they're pinned back against their own goal, and he just Avoided a safety on the previous play, but I like the Aztec shot from here. I think they should be able to get out almost so first down out to 10 s O much in CBS Sports Network. And they just had a commercial line. For Omaha steaks. Man. They showed you a succulent piece of steak. It looked medium rare to me, which is how I like my steaks. I know it's after midnight here on the East Coast, but I'm only halfway home on the show because we got to do five hours tonight. It's off. Someone brought down a juicy piece of steak right now, man, would I jump in with both knife and pork during a break here? It's not happening because Thie kiddies have all gone to bed. The neighborhood. My wife has already brought the bucket of candy in from the front port. So some now I'm just gonna have to suck it up and get these last 2.5 hours done on my own strength. I G in Toronto's up on CBS Sports Radio Hagi Hey, Good evening. How are you? I'm not sure. But I just want to say how 100% Right You are on the MVP in the World Series, and I just had a common in a question. I mean, I don't know who these writers are. But this is getting kind of old. Last year, they blew it with Strasberg. M V p in the Super Bowl is an also joke. It should never have been the home. You should have been Williams. I mean, without him, they don't win that game, but I mean Look at the numbers of Seger. You could arguably say he was the fourth best Dodger in this series. He was two for 11 in the Games of the Dodgers won, Who cares what he did in the two games that they lost? Who cares? Yeah, but now you're using analytics, which is the exact same thing that they did in picking him because his numbers were the best. They gave the award. Don't go heavy handed on the analytics. Here's all you have to say. I watched the game there are there's more to winning a baseball game than just putting up the best offensive statistical numbers. They're running the bases there playing your position and secret played in OK, shortstop. But is there anyone play that you remember Seeker making defence? Italian? That World Series? None for me? There are four Not one, Not two, not three. For Mookie defensive plays that I can recall that we're game taking at Siri's, and that's why he won the award. But but even analytically, the only thing he was best that was average. He got two extra base hits. Turner got sick. Kershaw was, too and Oh, OK. He only went six innings and five and two thirds. But in a cove in season, that's like seven and two thirds and eight innings. It's one game one. That's one game six. Kershaw. You could make an argument one game five and Munsey one. Game three. Everything. I don't. I don't see how a writer could put down Segers name because maybe he's the pretty boy. And they seemed to go for that type of guy, The guy that they want to win the World Series MVP tonight, like tell you I could tell you how I did it. They've got their laptop in front of them. They're sitting in the press box. Even though they can't go down on the field and talk to the players anymore. I'm sure some people voted from afar and weren't even there, but they looked at the numbers on the computer in Segers stood out just above Turner and bets offensively, but they're much else. I'm getting tired of repeating it here. Once again, there's more to winning a championship, a given game and a Siri's then who put up the best offensive numbers? And there's no like there's no party that, like check this out at the end of the season, it says. Did they make the right choices or not? It's just it's getting all because they they have a vote and whoever wins wins, there's no recount. Ah, they put their roads in and it's decided in a mere matter of minutes. Now we got another vote coming up in about 0 48 hours somewhere thereabouts on I'm telling you A week minimum. We will not know the next president of the United States is till next Tuesday, not this upcoming Tuesday, but I'm predicting the Tuesday there after we might be by that time able to declare a winner. Good luck with that brother of a Goodnight. Thanks, buddy. Appreciated on DH May the best man win. I've not said this yet. Tonight. I will say more tomorrow night with my mind because we'll be that much closer. To Election Day. Everyone, and I mean everyone should get out and vote. It's your only way to avoid your opinion. You can call talk radio stations..

"If you don't think that that guy also has problems calling a game. You've got another thing coming to you 'cause he's not preparing other ways. How do you know he's not gonNA prepare I i. just. Don't have the confidence I have a guy who is You know as as dead serious about a sport as anybody as Garrett Cole is about him going out to that amount just a mentality. I'm not even talking about like just like the preparation the guy puts in the work. When there's another person who is just not on the same level of of that grind, then there can be a problem and. You know maybe there were potential there. There were opportunities when Kohl was just. He didn't shake him off. He given the benefit the doubt bad pitch bad pitch bad things happened and he just had enough and instead of crying to the media like everybody wanted he said it in a closed door meeting and this is the result Hagi for the last three games. Well, it's hard to. It's hard to criticize coal if he's going to pitch like that because if he's going to pitch like that, it does not matter if you have to have a hole in your lineup or two or three or four holes in your lineup because he's pitching like the best pitcher and there are no holes that guy just hit three home runs tonight. Okay but. I know you're not gonNA get three home runs out of Hagi on a consistent basis. The whole argument against a personal catcher is if you have to take a bat out of the lineup to do it well, then that pitcher better go out there and shove. So of course, going to go out there and shove then fine have hagi personal catcher, but I think what it re. This is now the second place that Garrett Cole has needed a personal catcher because he needed Martinez Maldonado in Houston. Okay. So I understand that maybe Gary Sanchez is not as good. A game caller as higgins could possibly be, but this is the second location and I don't know what the situation was with Garrett Cole in Pittsburgh but this is now the second location two years in a row that Garrett Cole has required a personal catcher I'm not going. Not Going on the path of looking for that there this is this is where it needs to. What you? How do you go down that path? Because all you need to do all you need to do is look at Gary Sanchez this year's production it's more based on that than anything else. So you're saying if Gary Sanchez was hitting two seventy five right now and a twelve home runs that this that would not be catching derek cold the last three games correct. That's exactly what I'm saying. That's exactly what I'm saying if you didn't have catcher in Houston I might agree with you but he did you cannot I'm happy right now I am not going on this about you can was the only path to go decimate. You cannot have a personal catching situation when there's no starting catcher deserves field I'm sorry air fair with every. Three but Houston didn't have who the other guy on. What happened in Houston it doesn't matter to me there. They didn't have a guy that was like a mainstay behind the behind the exactly bright. Point. No. That was two thousand seventeen. It doesn't but there was no mainstay. So it's not like there was a citation. Yes. Okay. I I. Know I know there was you're you're looking for something that's not their. Robinson Torino's. I understand but the Yankees in an ideal world Gary Sanchez is the mainstay. He is the number one catcher..
Google's new bell to start the school day
"Well. That sound you heard is Google's new family bell. It is meant to be a signal. That is time for school the start or maybe dinner's ready or maybe it's time to walk the dog. It's a new feature of the Google. Assistant may sound small potatoes, but I think it's kind of fun. I'm Jefferson Graham. You're listening to talking tech, the ideas that we associate these signals with certain tasks that we do every day, and yet you can sit up a reminder on. Smart Speaker. But all you get is it's time for your appointment. And that's it. This is a sound, an audible sound that tells the kids. Okay. Be Serious. The school bell is ringing again, it's called family bell and you'll be able to find this on the Google Assistant. APP no need for an update. It's rolling out. You will find the family bell section in there. That's one of the new features and to get school timed start, you would say, Hey, g start the school day or Hagi School's in session. Some other fun things that Google has is the ability to broadcast and reply messages from the Smart Speaker just to specific rooms or devices which was previously impossible. If you wanted to broadcast before it would echo from every device connected even if you wanted to alert just one area. So. This is cool. To set up this feature. You would use the command, Hey, g broadcast to room name, and then follow up with message. For example, Hey g broadcasted living room. It's time for homework

"An but what what i found interesting was on one at the last days of substantive discussion how many countries tried to say in their statements that they understood the general agreement of the conference was that the word test also included subcritical computer simulations at cetera and no one was really challenging matt until del hagi who is the head of delegation for new zealand and am quite believe has a law background said hold on that may maybe your interpretation but don't say that that's the view of the conference because if that had just been left alone than actually someone could've looked back at the negotiating record and ceo about was maybe the general agreement of the conference so that was it an interesting a brief interaction that happened on one of the last days the which could have had much wider consequences if it had been unaddressed i mean i think i think the the discussion on test and also split threatened to use in a way it just shows how hard it is for anyone involved in reference to stay focused on the real issue i mean it's very easy to drift into some kind of theoretical debates there is no question in the international community the cannot tests newpurpose north korea does of course but um it's i think that debating endlessly what does this mean what does not mean it's sort of the treaties clear if you could have nuclear weapons i mean where the without test mentioned specifically you can't test because you have to see to beat the on test is also included in development you haven't met some republicans in congress clearly advocate of course but i think he just sort of it it's the scandal of at it's a habit also the individuals that are involved in this to just get a bit obsessed with certain terms we had a lot of discussions about stockpiling procession or you know all these kind of things what does it actually mean an actually means much the same thing.
