"I haven't come away thinking, oh, but why? Why? I've come away thinking, oh, okay. There's no plot holes. I would say no. There's nothing where I'm gone. What the fuck happened there? Why does that not connect? Or how do I understand this? And what's going on? There was never a moment where I felt lost or confused or annoyed really, like, because I can get frustrated. I think I love law. I love continuity. I'm a comic book fan, so that comes part and parcel. Sometimes I fucking hate continuity. Depending what the fucking doing with it or whether it's people hold up canon being so important when sometimes it really isn't. I'm just looking for a good story. If you can strip away the continuance and tell me a good story, that's fine as well. I don't mind adaptations. I don't mind if they're changed in a good or a bad way. I know some people have been complaining about miss marvel, having slightly different powers, not being on stretchy. I like that character, but I'm not particularly I don't need to see a stretching necessarily. Just for fun, maybe, but sure. Maybe she has a dream and she's stretching. What about that? And then you can see it. She's like, but realistically. That's my stretch impression. I mean, I'm glad that it's audio only because, you know, you don't need any more. I mean, you could have screen grab that just that face that I pulled then and all the arms that I was doing. But that's for your memory. That's something for you to remember. That is for me only listeners. Exclusive, it's like if I got my manhood out or something, that would just be your eyes only. I was going to say, the only other people that could have seen that face is people in very intimate moments were down and definitely. That's definitely the same. Face I pull. See, I can't even speak. And that aroused by talking about it. I can't even get words there. Yeah, that's the noise. That's the noise. The noise. I've just got the whole experience now. The arousal. You got it all. My blood's pumping, all the endorphins are going. I think it's just you being on screen, Paul is doing weird things to me, I think. That's what the case is. What I bring to the world. So getting back on track somehow. Good luck. Let's go back. So yes, Harry, Peele of craft is hired to find the necronomicon, which is obviously from H. P. Lovecraft.

"Supplemental plans the list goes on and on it is probably for your fifty things we do math on annual basis and the reason I mention this is good because our clients really like to rely on us you know this now to deal with the entire road right they want to make sure that they are they're not they're not leaving any stone unturned and so again that might not be a right fit for you if you listen you know I mean I know it and that's that's the same as it just takes time and we we we talk with the people yet they just looking for a you know a a mutual fund or someone to tow to watch money go up and down you know on a on a daily basis yeah that's that's not us I mean we we we're going to dedicate time and that's why we can't be all things to all people correct book book book for people that are looking for that for that sort of that commitment then yeah then then there's some potential there yeah if you know this if you fall into that boat we like you know I do want to make sure I'm not I don't want to miss something I've seen a good amount of money and we worked hard I don't want to miss some tax empty I don't want to miss the ability our big downturn the market's gonna throw me off I want to have all these things like that under one plan today in ongoing and that's what that's what the S. C. H. P. financial team does we we started our company back in two thousand three I guess if we don't take on everyone yeah because it has to be erased it just like it has to be the right fit for you listening but if you're serious and you really want to take it to the next level at least have a conversation to see what it would look like no commitment has no money exchanged in this and this first meeting I think it makes sense to at least look at first meeting either face to face which will be talking about next segment or if you want to still do is zoom or phone call the start that's fine too you get get this get your questions answered see what retirement roadmap would look like in your situation the number to call to book this visit is eight hundred two two seven seven seven seven seven again the number is eight hundred two two seven seventy seven seventy seven after the break we're gonna talk about what the re opening of our offices is looking like we're as we take on clients in folks like yourself want to come in our protecting you what that's gonna look like we'll be right back to discuss in.

"Well actually we're looking at a skirmish line right here but a lot of offices here but a line of cars as well the divider on the one ten freeway yeah let me come out again here and you see the southbound traffic on the right hand side of the picture the northbound still blocked a couple of cars there on that little transition back onto the freeway there in those cars are being let go I believe by the I believe this is the LAPD that's both on and on to the northbound side of the freeway now so they've made that skirmish line they're saying you know enough's enough let's get you up those stairs at that staircase there by the abrupt bus access and it looks like for the most part that's going to be happening and right now the LAPD at the C. H. P. talking about getting those southbound lanes open and soon the the north bound lanes right here those lanes will citizens people move out they'll be able to be cut free but still a lot of police activity now on the freeway both sides people on the above bridge that's the seventh street bridge over the freeway now watching what's going on down below and slowly but surely it looks like all the protesters are making their way up to the top of the seventh street and boy that is something you don't see very often if you look at the skirmish line there the officers lined up on a freeway access road absolutely absolutely it's S. boxing them in their they did they did a good job of bringing the officers there.

"Take two eighty or six eighty to get around that this incident what are you hearing from C. H. P. F. anything heather are they I I heard that they were on the way is that imminent well I didn't see some cruisers pull up and I lost them with in that shot I'm not seeing any police our C. H. P. confrontation with anyone so that's a little confusing and the other confusing thing I think you worked in this industry as well as that they have never into entered this incident into the C. H. P. log so we're learning it from the chopper thing I've also got that alert and then we've got staff putting in calls this PhD I guess but they never entered the situation in the log and typically they've been pretty good about that you can see the north bound traffic getting off on the exit so it appears that traffic is being rerouted and re directed north bound and that protesters are really only blocking the southbound side of the road as how it appears from the helicopter shot from ABC seven news we are working to get a hold of you on a California highway patrol public information officer Ross lead and when we are get him on the line and we'll we'll put him on to talk about how this is going to be resolved all people are all also protesting on city streets in San Jose you can see pictures of that as well so not only the freeway affected also the freeway on ramps affected in the area this is a developing story one we will be covering through the afternoon a bay area civil rights leader says the tragic death of George Floyd in the custody of Minneapolis.

"P. and Xerox this is kind of hostile what's happened here he he yeah well the company adopted H. P. has adopted a plan that would make an acquisition more difficult to carry out H. P. says of the plan wouldn't walk a merger but would encourage Xerox or any other potential buyers to negotiate with the board because H. P. P. it will basically HP is trying to block Xerox's this hostile takeover bid about the this fight's been going on for a while so next week's gonna be crucial in this take over fight at H. P. is going to prepare an outline of the plan for itself improvements I guess it's wellness plan response do the take over campaign by Xerox all right this enough all labor deals out too yeah so owners can be in the New York this week and they approved an outline of an offer to players and that includes the seventeenth regular season game and two additional playoff games so this may satisfy a lot of broadcasters out that they are that are salivating for even more and more games but the timing in terms of the labor contract this is suggesting that management's principal goal is to entice media companies were talking the Disney from the foxes into paying billions of dollars more for the rights to show the games room I am a doctor amber about than just a little bit what is the markets look like will futures are lower than a you know we've been talking about this corona virus for some time now cases increased outside of China so that's causing a bit of concern this morning Dow futures down ninety seven points from the Bloomberg news room on Courtney done how on newsradio seven hundred WLW thank you so much is about a forty on seven hundred WLW Steve Hawkins in there for Mike McConnell and this morning and a lot of stuff happened and this week and obviously the home and garden show going on here and tell the Dayton Auto Show is happening Kelly Dennison joins is the director of events take morning killing learning Hey in the in the middle of winter we get to go see the cars and things all weekend long at the Dayton convention center right that's correct we have everything from cars trucks SUVs even Harley Davidson is here with us cool I like that so it everything for any type of car or motorcycle enthusiasts this we can act absolutely bad I would you know that something that in the cost effective range of about nineteen thousand with the Chevy spark all the way up to you you know hundred fifty thousand dollar Porsche you're looking for something like that the big car here this year it's the twenty twenty minute you court at the mid engine on yes Dennis and also I love Toyota them the the ride and drive experience this we can you can do with the latest Toyota models absolutely four different models that you can take a test drive in the Cameri tundra and the Highlander so you'd come out to the show military appreciation days to going on today anyone within a military ID that's absolutely correct its environment by your dating area Toyota dealers military ID active or retired kitchen three today in my beloved Cincinnati Reds and their mascots of the mascots evidently will be there tomorrow yes for how long our mascot to tomorrow into on Sunday three Kelly Dennison with this director of in state not a sure how do we get information from me I do not own show dot com it's eight dollars out the door in the colors on vinyl Kelly thanks so much for joining us appreciate it all right thank you all right there's a lot going on seven hundred W. L. W. it's the weekend I like the weekend what else is happening we were talking about the NFL it's gets more information on that right borough ABC news correspondent in Chicago with this right I understand the owners accepted this new collective bargaining agreement yeah and it would go into effect immediately yes the NFL Players Association also approved this what are some of the headliners out of this well number one is seventeen games schedule which would probably go into a fact about the year twenty twenty two that about that season an increase in the players share of total revenue from forty seven percent now to forty eight percent maybe forty eight and a half percent at the seventeen games are approved expanding the playoff teams from twelve to fourteen so that you get seven from each conference in only one team at the top seed would get the buy in that opening week and there are a couple other things to reduce penalties for players who test positive for THC fifty option guarantee that not related to performance or trapped in an hour but would handle conduct not directly related to the integrity of the game as opposed to the commissioner's office a few things in there and of course we're waiting to see what the player reaction is already pretty early on it's not looking good J. J. watt for one tweeting out hard no one CBA we've heard Richard Sherman and wondered for net also say they're not interested in expanding to a seventeen game season obviously takes hard toll on their bodies I want you stretch this is seventeen games you can't go back to sixteen games higher minimum salaries or just higher salaries in general is is not what the players are interested in because they don't want to play that seventeen game well you know we'll see how I I mean ultimately money talks so we'll see what's going on behind the scenes and there is still some wiggle room for negotiation here but this is something the owners feel is if you do a ball now it's up to the players I doubt the twenty twenty season is currently under this the CBA that they're operating on right now okay this wedding to a fact if the players gave the thumbs up they put this new CBA into effect immediately so there is still a year if they can't come to an agreement before you know any lock counterstrike analyst mention those words mean that that's always a possibility with professional sports right and I understand not every owner approve this right yeah we don't exactly know what the final numbers were three quarters of them had to give the agreement to this for it to pass so somewhere along the line three quarters of the thirty two in New York City at that meeting approved doesn't sound like it was unanimous of rambling Chicago think so much rain you got it Larry that's interesting so see what happens more interesting stuff out here you know time do your taxes so secure believe some of these things business travel expenses if you have a business account or done expense account you get to turn those expenses and after you're all round out on the road doing so if there's some crazy stuff that people have tried to rip right off their business travel expenses here a company called certify has been tracking this since two thousand thirteen the most expensive expense reported including the ten thousand dollars in flight changes airline flight changes submitted it was not approved because the employee miss the flight because they ended up in jail man ten thousand dollars do do do do the chief financial officer also pointed out that that hotel bill that was turned in with a ten thousand hour flight and they had to repair a hole punched in the wall another expense request a reimbursement for sixty five hundred dollars for a helicopter ride in twenty seventeen the employee needed to make a client meeting it was not approved but check this out hang gliding ride in twenty seventeen was approved hang glider right it's it's a two thousand dollar price tag the reason to avoid a divorce the secretary of the company said without elaborating they had to get a two thousand dollar hang gliding right and that was approved but not the all expenses involve transportation one employee rented a llama for a hundred and fifty Bucks he got that one approved his business expense you you can evidently rent a llama they need along for picture another animal related expense for a for was boarding for a pet snake it cost thirty dollars a day it was approved I doesn't say why not approved was a separate hotel room for root vegetables it would have cost eighty five dollars the salesman was transporting garlic samples and he wanted a separate hotel room for it eight of course one employee got to expense tickets to a share concert for a hundred twenty five Bucks that's unusual another got expense eight thousand dollar Rolex bought a client a Rolex and expense that the most of birds are item that they have found so far was an expense for human scroll eight hundred Bucks lose paid for.

Oh still posing workouts on youtube but if you look at my early workouts mantos big puffy shirts on all the time was until I made that switch but and and I wasn't getting sleep I wasn't getting sleep man at all and it was affecting not only might my muscle growth but my life and my my health and you know my performance Ormoc Work and also in the gym and listen when you know like I say seven to nine hours is key right and there's two types of sleep we gotta think about this Ram which is rapid I movement which has that deep sleep the sleep that occurs like ninety to one hundred twenty minutes throughout the night so you don't get a lot a lot of it but it like it pretty pretty much accounts for like twenty to twenty five percent of our total sleep time specifically as an adult and a ram generally dominates our our sleep later at night so later at night specifically just before we wake up that's when that's when we should be reminiscent perfect because to Saas when production action happens earlier in the morning right so just before you wake up you're just awesome production happens in what what does your to Sochaux needs along with cholesterol while really really good sleep good rem sleep that helps the stars from production but then there's non Ram sleep and onramp sleep is known as the slow wave or or deep sleep so not the ram but the the deep sleep and this is this phase is actually more central for muscle recovery and restoring the body and this accounts for forty percent of total sleep time so during this time your blood pressure drops your breathing becomes de birds lower your brain is resting so there's not a lot of activity going and in the blood the blood supply which is which is very available also your blood supplies available for your muscles to increase your it gives your muscles the the extra nutrients it needs the oxygen it needs to help with healing and to help with growth so during that phase that's when the muscles muscles and tissues are starting to rejuvenate and you know you get that growth that's it man non Ram sleep you need both one for two sauce awesome which we need for for muscle growth along with everything else in our lives and one with and one four muscle growth right specifically if we're not muscle building phase of Orlando Kim. something the chiefs as well at one o'clock so those two battling for two and three in the a FC let's see what else you got it one that means something the Packers still battling and the saints as Wall battling for positioning in the NFC then four o'clock eagles and giants will get into the giant specifically in a second here but we have the eagles who when they're in in the NFC east the Titans same thing if they went in there in the playoffs in the a FC those new Titans taken on the Texans in Houston at four twenty five as well you get the cowboys if force you to go back and forth checking on the cowboys score in the eagles and giants score and then obviously the ravens and the Steelers with the ravens going with their back office RG three is going to start a quarterback for them you have to expect that even with the Steelers situation at at quarterback for them being competitive enough they need it they've been tough increase in RG three an old Baltimore the best team in the league this year but what Alomar Jackson they're not gonna be the same team and clearly the ravens don't have anything to play for I would not be stoned if the seals were to win that and who knows maybe they do somehow sneak in depending on what happens with the Titans as well called Jaguars doesn't mean anything readers have a long shot to get in that game also it for and cardinals rams which is a completely irrelevant but the way that they spread the games out to me is fun I mean as a football fan you know all your care about this week as present your team is out of it let's see the jets are the giants and everyone wash the development of Sam Donald Adam gazing can the jets get to seventy nine and that would be a big deal for them to go in there and get a win in buffalo against a playoff team although buffalo sounds like they're gonna rest their players the majority that game Allen may start at quarterback but they said Barkley will get in there a map blog we will we'll see sometimes we don't know when it's gonna be a quarter is gonna be half who knows but really for the from the judge perspective you wanna see gays and Donald but outside of that you're I mean it's all it's playoff time here as a point of time fantasy leagues are over now it's about getting locked in on play also the playoff seeding so it's gonna be fun to see all the action around the league and how it's going to happen and how it's going to unfold and you could weed out some of the games that don't mean anything you know some of one some of for but then zone in on the games that doing there's five that do I believe at one o'clock that have some implications and again we mention the bunch as for right we touch on the jets a little bit with Adam gase and Sam Donald and you know how important will be for them to get to seven and nine on the year and you were everything went wrong if they get finished at seven and nine I think that speaks volumes to the way that this this franchise bounce back the way they gaze and Donald turn the season around and to the direction that they are headed in the giants however a win wouldn't show me that same confidence that they are headed in the right direction I really do believe that the decision on Pat Shurmur has already been made and I think the time's gonna move on from Schirmer I felt that for a while now really since the jets laws we was back in week ten I felt that the giants were gonna move on from Schirmer and just a matter of time I don't think that a win here against the eagles could change anybody's mind I mean maybe that's it I don't know I'm just guessing educated guess let's call but from the giants perspective you want to see Jones embark we follow it up I'm not so sure they can you know to that level who can to that level but even a little bit of a lesser performance from both those guys usually see be consistent does have to be that great but just be consistent and do it against a better team in the eagles who desperately need the game to win the NFC east that's one aspect of it but if you are going to move on from Pat Shurmur pin gentleman needs to be fired as well and remember the giants are not in this spot be because all of anything gentlemen or Schirmer of done really they're in this spot dating back two years ago when Jerry Reese was called the shots and Jerry Reese was missing on draft after draft after draft then they can't Jerry Reese on forever many failed and failed again and fell again member they made the decision to move on from Kevin Gilbride and bringing them back into his office of quarter that was really the star then the decision to move on from call phone to go to bed mad could do we know what a disaster that was so these are arm bush all repeated mistakes for many years now that have put the giants in this position that's why they're here not because of Gell Mann or Schirmer and is it really operator will value wait a general manager and head coach you gonna evaluate the regime after two years or less really I don't think that's right they're the ones that hired gentlemen in Sherman so if you hired on now I'm not saying I would have hired I think there are other ways they could have gone they one of the adult in the room while they were better adults available to be the head coach guys that had winning records as opposed to Pat Shurmur who lost in Cleveland lost badly I didn't mind get all men but then get on the way that he handled the median so the move that he's made that lead you to scratch your head a little bit but they hired these guys and if they're the guys that the organization decided to hire two years ago when they needed some stability after what apple maggot do then why would they be looking to make a change so quickly and then how do we trust that the next tires gonna be the right one I don't think Germans good head coach for a lot of reasons his record his resume is in game decisions his handling of the media that's a big deal in New York I don't think he's got to get this team overall been back to perennial playoff contenders but I also one of our now if you are going to fire Pat Shurmur which I think the majority of us here in New York who watch this team play this year and the last couple years matter of fact we think they should do N. by the way no more the giants expectations coming into the year I mean they may win five games here right they may win five games their expectations six six wins so it's not really that far off especially those expectations going here with you I manning things change but will the rookie quarterback told about the development of Daniel Jones who by the way yeah develop a relatively nicely here all right so bad roles in the occasional fumble or more than the occasional fumble but some fumbles and the occasional bad throw was maybe a better way to say that he still develop nicely here so are you judging Schirmer and Gelman on that a little bit too but the point is if you're gonna fire Schirmer I think being get only needs to go as well and get a man is on some really good things I like trading del key it's impossible to argue now with picking Daniel Jones when nobody else thought that that was the right pick to make with Daniel Jones he made it and it looks like it was a successful pick all right he didn't build the offense of line the way that he said he would the defense is very young you're hoping that those guys could develop but again due to draft that's I I don't agree with picking se Kwan Barkley number two overall but especially after last week it's hard to argue the potential that se Kwan Barkley has as a game changing player you see more consistently but you get the point he got his quarterback anyway so you can argue that he should have taken a quarterback because he ended up getting the guy that he wanted with Daniel Jones his two biggest mistakes however might be fireball fences one was missed reading the team that he inherited he thought mac a dues second year there he got fired for was the aberration as opposed to the eleven and five year being the aberration that was all I knew it at the time I think others who at the time the aberration was eleven five that team was not that good their defense carried him but they were supposed to be offense to a good offensive unit under the leadership of been maggot and they wore your to to me was more than all now Gelman came in thinking they can one immediately they didn't and they been chastened ever sense that was mistake number one a big one but that was mistake number one number two hiring sure that's also mistake and it's also a big mistake so are you well I don't think it's fair to we value wait a new regime in just two years if you are going to make a change because you don't believe those guys can turn around moving forward or you don't believe that the organization is headed in the right direction then you need to get rid of them all how can you sell me on firing Schirmer but leading dental in pick the next head coach by the way where is government does get up and talk to the media and it was all about Schirmer not handling the medial what's got him and he's a but what is the bill Belichick you can't talk to anybody and by the way the bill talks.

"It looks like we have more than one victim who got an S. and so I'm gonna I'm gonna keep an eye on this with C. H. P. but you know it's just it's really really what out there this morning those raindrops are big they are coming down hard and fast and the road ways I mean this area where this accident took place notorious for roadway flooding well makes sense and I a you know if you're planning you're gonna get yeah and I am sherry's right the bridge I was I was I had you know the white not pulling on my steering wheel I was totally like that especially with all the big trucks go all my yeah they were like moving around hang on dolls and then you always get that jerk let's go and not slowing down at all there at all and and zipping in it and out of traffic his you know nobody else matters yeah this is there this morning is going to be one of those where just leave a few minutes early take your time turn on your radio will be in the car with the air in just get wherever you're going safely and we say this a lot but both hands on the wheel yes yes that text can wait yeah oh my gosh yeah that's just well I'm sorry had to go dead to see that that's just a horrible thing yeah hi it's what you know and and it's a I think it's the traffic reporter in me but I saw it and I got this feeling in my gut I just was like a boy then I I I I know I can and that's why the second I got into the studio the first thing I did was open up that what I used to read report traffic to see and I sure enough this is got everybody slowdown today yeah everybody leaves out not getting any better it's going to be lasting through the through the rush hour and little bit beyond circuits courting the staff of a brother the staff meteorologist I talked him moments ago okay so he told me so also okay sorry just a an update danger shut down eastbound five eighty again are one hundred percent so you're stopped all right well we'll worry of war with the in the car is is Katie mentioned in we'll keep things keep things in perspective here and just again slow down out there both hands on the wheel it's you know so we took Christmas please right if you wanna you wanna get there safely you want to be in a be home with your family yeah so all right so what else is going on her own nothing going on Washington CC away yeah there is some going on Washington DC this whole impeachment mass I think the funniest thing of all the small yesterday was a guy who's a in the house of representatives from Florida he is the vice chair of the rules committee his name is Alsea Hastings and he went to was talking about the the hearings yesterday the articles of impeachment so I'll see Hastings up there talking about this whole thing and it really doesn't matter much what he said yesterday but just the great irony that Alsea Hastings is one of eight federal judges or was one of eight federal judges in the United States who has been impeached when he was a federal judge in nineteen eighty one he took a bribe he was caught he was impeached from office yes it's not just president to get impeached judges have the it can get in peace in fact they are the most commonly impeached and removed from office people that if they eat in U. S. history he is one of eight who's been impeached yet the people in Florida thought a brilliant two elected to Congress how much my god he was impeached for bribery and perjury yes by a vote of four hundred thirteen to three well an overwhelming yeah it was it was a kind of overwhelming you have absolutely right LC Hastings when I lived in Florida and it was during this whole thing was going on LC Hastings it will he wasn't we didn't think it was a politician or juris anyway he was a punch line it's like this hi oh my gosh yeah he use use the talking instead about impeachment so I thought that kind of funny the president also sent a letter to Nancy Pelosi and I mean this is just it's it's everything we have been saying about this impeachment okay it goes on it starts out you know I I write to express my strongest most powerful protests against the party's impeachment crusade being pursued by the Democrats in the house of representatives the articles of impeachment include no crimes no misdemeanors no offenses whatsoever you've cheapened the importance of the very ugly word impeachment by proceeding with your valid impeachment you're violating.

"C. H. P. financial Derek Greg were joined by T. tell us in Matthew packed today shows gonna be about just learning what a first appointment in second appointment with a visit with a financial planning firm looks like specifically here at S. H. P. financial you hear a lot of different folks advertising come in for review come in for a meeting and that can be intimidating on your end because you like I don't know what to expect they gonna put me into a Roman lock we there until I either I'm buying a dying like a time share sales or is it you know what does this look like so we're gonna share with you you know what to be prepared for when you're getting ready for that first meeting when you're looking at a new financial adviser maybe it's your first one or maybe you just want a new fresh look at your situation we're gonna take you through that process one step at a time on today show and we've done it we think we did a good job giving you content education over the last. ten twelve years I've been on the radio but we feel like we may be we never do a good job of explaining how this actually takes place in our conference rooms that are offices so with that being said we're gonna get into this today before we do I'm gonna welcome Keith and that to the show hope you guys are doing well Keith how's everything is great yeah really looking for to get into the show really diving deep into that first meeting and I think it's really important you know the first meeting in my opinion is really sets the stage for everything else going for because that's more taking time to really get to know the individual the family that's coming in to meet with us it's it's a lot more than just saying Hey look show me your portfolio what's going on here it's you know what your goals would you want your retirement to look like do you have grand kids who was mentally or whatever it is that each individual or family once that's where we want to spend a lot of the time and that's where we want to get to know them and really help them plan to achieve those goals put an end to kind of you know put you back on he says I mean it's just so much you know after so many years that we've been doing this it it's so important for people to know kind of what that process is like you know especially for the new folks I mean for everyone that is already come in and you know existing clients existing families they know but there's so many more people that that that need our help you know I mean or or even if it's not even us you know because it because I think one thing that will will talk about their today is the idea of a fit yeah we we talk often about making sure that whoever does sit down with us is if you know that that we're fit for them and that they are set for us and we can certainly talk a little bit book in that in greater detail but it's just more the idea that people I mean retirement itself I mean it's just getting more more complicated in every single day in and then you know what with with what taxes are going to do with what the markets are going to do and what what can happen to social security and pensions health rising cost I mean yeah that I just I just I feel for I'm happy that we're able to help as many people as we can but I just I I just really stressed the importance of of having a plan in the middle of all of this information yeah I just I know sometimes you meet with. some folks in you know it may be a good fit or maybe not but sometimes like well I just have this portfolio and I love vanguard our love whatever it is I'm just in there and so their whole retirement is based on a portfolio it's like it's in I feel you don't want to we've been in business two thousand three if the clients not a good fit we're okay with that racquet but at the same time you must want to like look at them and say you know on which we do is say listen you're not even look think you sing about a portfolio that's one little piece of retire other retirement puzzle yeah you have the corner of the puzzle the one corner piece yes you have that in place but taxes healthcare inflation social security the list could market volatility list goes on and on well it just says something with this where it let's just say you know it it is said that one piece of the puzzle so it's like okay I my portfolio in place but who do I ask about so security are excellent not the gonna so security guy who has been healthcare I'm not gonna go to health care guy gal plan come from all right to go to that person no one knows yet what the other ones doing yeah so you have like this piece meal like it if at best even if you've been able to sort of identify people in the in these different roles and you know we always talk about one stop shopping it'll come to one place we get everything done you'll get your turn if you needed tourney's get your CPA's if you need CPA's but all underneath one roof all communicating all talking on your behalf yeah well you I I think of like myself we always put ourselves in the customer's shoes in the clients used many years ago and think what I want if you were to have a plan don't go to sixteen different people or the one place that knows everything because the knows everything about my situation fast forward back to two thousand one two thousand two and an I remember when before the three of us met I was an intern in this company that in turn from was one of the biggest companies in the world from a financial planning and investment management standpoint and so I thought you know I I was there two thousand one I was interning and I remember you know during those awful not the no nine eleven which we remember like it was yesterday and I'm you know right now it's in our kids history books which is so we. it seems like it was just it was many years ago now and we it was a tragic situation for everyone but at the same time portfolios also went down and I remember I was interning at this company in woman kept calling Judy and she was saying we know she was looking to speak to the adviser who I was interning for he was basically like don't if anyone calls Tom I'm not here because he was you don't want to take the heat here the heat in so. she when she found the told me a few calls in sick Derek I just lost like three hundred forty thousand. then I were retiring in a few months how are we supposed to do it so I I had a bad taste in my mouth about the industry because here's this big firm very reputable on paper in this client didn't have a plan that was right for them then fast forward to two thousand two to three of us me at another company and this other company wants us to sell to sell things whether it's a new teaser insurance it was almost like he here's what you can sell no matter what people look like and what their goal is you have to sell this and make a commission so that the company can make commission the bad thing was it was kind of a if didn't feel right the good thing is the three of us met yeah well for Keith Keith and then fortunately but the three of us met there we knew it wasn't the right fit and then we started in two thousand three S. H. P. financial in the reason we started to have independent advice not from one company we wanted to use the entire universe in the spectrum but then we took a few years later one step further you've heard us talk about this on our show for years we develop what's known as the S. H. P. financial retirement roadmap process so it sounds like a jumble mumble mouth full which it is but what does that mean to you what well Matt had alluded to this earlier it's not just like having a portfolio which means having your statements your four oh one K. annuities whatever it is you can't rest on that as having that be your financial plan with our retirement process we look at retirement in five different areas and we think you need five different plans all are built within this one retirement roadmap planned for you that's having an income plan in complaining involves where you're so secure is gonna come from how do you take your pension does your income go up with inflation throughout retirement do you have enough to retire when can you retire all those questions world number two is investment planning making sure your portfolios manage properly according to your age goals rescue etcetera number world number three is tax planning we always want to find ways to look at the tax room if. Asians long term and short term in your portfolio in your life to see if we can improve that number for Matt talked about health care expenses have gone way up how we gonna plan for them we're gonna take a long term care into account and then finally well number five is legacy planning how do we protect the assets and then distribute the assets that you work so hard to save to your love ones.
