How the Sober Spring Challenge changed my life

"Twelve whole podcasts. My name is John Garang I'm the foundry weld without wine and I'm your host for this podcast. Thank you so much for union. A series. Two of the podcast is all about taking a break from all coal just how beneficially this to take a break how important it is to test salt dependent regularly this ties in nicely with also spring challenge which starts on the first of September. We're going to be interviewing people who done also spring challenging in the past last week we interviewed Kawhi, who did sobers spring two years ago he hasn't added drink since. He didn't do it because he wanted to stop drinking. So we also interviewed Lebeau who used it to moderate for awhile, and finally she decided that she felt so much better when she wasn't drinking that she was going to ditch moderation technique and give up drinking completely. Today's interview is with a lovely lady called KRYSTAL. Nine christel sober spring in two thousand and nineteen. She had me on the radio tasting alcohol-free wines. And when she had the conversation, she had a bit of a light bulb. Moment. Because she reflected on her own drinking habits and she decided that for her, it was more about the ritual. than the old coal. So perhaps, all coal free wines would work for. Assaulted our conversation by asking Christo to tell us about himself. On, crystal I'm forty five years old I live in Pretoria. and. Got One son, he turned to any one the other day a couple of weeks ago, and I'm married to my best friend for twenty five years in November now been married congratulations. When did you first start thinking that you'd like sued maybe change your relationship with all did you first start thinking? The might be a problem have. As you all know that drinking wine we need. It's the first loss that is the bugger because. When it's the first laws, it triggers, you have another glass and then I must finish the bottle. So and that started bothering me and I think I've signed up for wilt without wine the city day challenge in January and I think I lost it about sixty minutes. You know what you get those days way you wake up two o'clock in the morning. Your heart stopping and it's jumping out of your chased and you get this feeling. Then you think what have I done lost not did I feed Musonda my husband? Did I MAKE Can't remember and then you start negotiating with yourself said, this is this is Scott to stop you know. This is not happening again until six o'clock when you start making food and. Outcomes the bottle of wine and. You have to stay in the. Pit was terrible. So you did this. As all Robin ugity minutes of the thirty. That's. What I wasn't greedy. I've got a fitbit. What really triggered. Me was my resting. Offbeat at some stage August. Last year it was eighty four they win I started with the spring. It actually came down to the low sixties now. So it's it's really it was that was the main mission was for health reasons I what you said about you've got to be ready because some you obviously weren't ready when you signed up for the he is but nevertheless you you reflected a lot before you signed up, you pay full challenge Saturday you can't in the water in year than you ran away from the freezing water again but then said, you saw the Cyprus spring challenge. So what made you think Oh let's give these guys another try. You know what? What's fantastic just before that I heard you over the radio. On radio to and actually drinking the last one and having a taste on the radio and saying how it tastes like my husband was in the patroness me that much and I told him I said listen to this. I can actually do this for me. It's about the habit I love having mom gloss and my bottle WANNA open it, pull the drink, and then that's for me. That's that's my kick that I get out of IT I. told him I said, I'm sure I can do it because I know that it's not the Elko that I'm often it's the Heb it with the Al Khalid steerable because I can't stick to one drink because they ll kicks in any poisons, your audie entities with the colossal one I was so

"We're doing everything we can to build and to bring the people around us to the body of Christ or to help them remain thereby. If you today do not know the Lord you have now been washed redeemed by his will according to the truth of the Gospel. The can change if you haven't been baptized for their mission of your sins as as the apostles. Directed in acts chapter two verse. Thirty, eight and. Time throughout the New Testament that salvation comes not only through baptism, but by repenting of our sins that is being committed and convicted to change our actions and the choices that we make being sorrowful over those and confessing them not only to God but. To confess the Lord Jesus before men to believe in them with all of our hearts. To hear the Gospel is the first step and you've done that today if you need help. Going forward and your relationship with. God whether it is to become a child of God. First and foremost or to return to him to be encouraged through this difficult time. I don't know what you need. "However, we think we sound however people respond. We should never be afraid to sing the praises of God or to speak the praises of God. Or to tell another of how God has been gracious to us. We need to be individuals who talk about it who share it who tell people about the nature of God And of the love that we have for him, let us continually offer this sacrifice of praise to God. We say, what? What sacrifices do we give now? We always talk about Oh, well, we give of our offering. Yeah that's true. That's a sacrifice that we we give our time when when we're doing things for the church or when we're helping people to come to the relationship with God, we can study with people. That's true. But Jack Feis is the fruit of our lips is even the songs that we sing. And even if we can't sing because we are physically incapable. We can sing with our soul and I've known so many people who do exactly that. Who might not be able to carry a tune in a bucket, but you can hear their very soul. Basically, you can hear how much matters to them, and it is a fantastic thing when we stop listening with our ears and we start listening with our hearts. He says Verse Sixteen but do not forget. Remember. Remember to do good and to share for with such sacrifices. God is well pleased. And in the end who are we trying to please hear? There's a lot of things that the world would love for us to do. That would make them really happy and one of them is for us to shut up. But we can't do that. We can't constrain the message of the Gospel. We cannot be ashamed of. The Gospel, the power of God. To everyone who believes Rome shafter one verse sixteen. We cannot be ashamed of talking about our Savior and the God of Heaven Earth regardless of how people are going to act. And even if in some weird situation. The. People of Ephesus Yell, at you that Diana is the God of Ephesus and they want no other that's from. Nineteen. But we have to be willing to talk about it. And I think we have grown complacent in that that it is one thing for us to talk to each other about it, and that's great. It's great for us to be able to talk. And text each other about our relationship with God and the things we're going through in the thoughts that we have and to share on the Internet and chat rooms with other Christians. But we can't leave it there. Matthew Chapter Twenty eight verses eighteen through twenty Jesus begins. All. Authority in Heaven and on all authorities give it to me in heaven and on the Earth. And he gives them the great? Commission. He tells them that they need to go. And they need to preach while they're going that they need to tell people about the savior about him, the son of God. We must share the Gospel. or we are not children of God and we are not remembering the expectations that God has placed on us. We were not saved to sit on our on Our highness we were saved to get to work. We were saved that we might be. Fellow laborers in the Kingdom. That, we might create a fantastic harvest when the time comes because we're sowing the seed because we're pulling up rocks because we're tilling the soil. Because we're fertilizing the ground..

"From that burn out that sacrifice and all of the ashes they were taken outside of the Camp Verse Twelve says therefore. Jesus also that he might sanctify the people with his own blood suffered outside the camp. And, just like that scapegoat had to be taken outside of the campaign was released outside of the camp. So. Jesus suffered outside of the camp and LAU HEBREW HEBREW writers arguing this he says therefore by him. Verse Fourteen for here we have no continuing. NOPE, that's not it either there it is. Thirteen. There's so many therefore is here I get caught up therefore let us go forth to him outside the camp bearing his reproach. He says, this scapegoat was outside and it carried their sends out. Jesus suffered outside of the camp. We should not try to find salvation with the covenant of Judaism we have to go outside of the Covenant of Judaism to Find Salvation. And that's what the Hebrew writer is arguing. The whole argument from beginning of the book of Hebrews to the end is practically you can't find salvation in. Israel any longer under the Jewish system under the Old Testament it's not intended to be that any longer. And we should follow Jesus outside the camp. Even, if it means, we must bear his reproach. Even, if we are going to be persecuted like he was or the apostles and disciples in the first century, even if we are going to be stoned outside of the city like Paul was. We need to leave. We need to go out of the city to find the savior. Remember the costs that was paid. We must also, he finishes here in Verse Fifteen and sixteen we must remember the expectations. He says therefore man he says therefore so many times he's just drawing conclusions. He says Verse Fourteen Four here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come. That's the very message that Moses and Abraham both talked about in Hebrews Chapter Eleven. Abraham looked for a city that had foundations. If this is the only city that has foundations and in truth he's right. Every other city is going to be destroyed is going to be utterly wiped off the map. But the city of God will remain forever and he looked forward to that. We have no continuing city here, but we seek the one to Converse fifteen. Therefore by let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God. That is the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. Now, what does that look like it looks like a lot of things. It looks like. Looking foolish in the basement of pizza king in. Columbia city because I. Didn't think anybody could hear me. And I'm down there organizing the product and folding boxes because I'm a delivery driver and that's what delivery drivers do when there's no deliveries. And I'm down there singing songs about God and. I didn't think anybody could here. And when I got back up the stairs. Not only could every one of my co workers here there were quite a few people in the. In the restaurant they could also here and that was very embarrassed but it was okay. No one was upset about the things I was singing and hopefully like Paul and Silas there were some things that came about because of it who knows But we should not be ashamed to sing the praises of God wherever we are..

"Easter. Now we need to remember the truth every single day and Deuteronomy chapter six. That's what God told. The Israelites that they needed. They needed to be talking to their children when they got up and when they when they lie down laid down. And got up and when they laid down when they left the house in when they came back home every opportunity that they had, they should take to teach their children and what would that do for them you suppose if they had listened to that advice and they had continued in God's will and teaching and instructing their. According to his will. They wouldn't have been so quickly deterred and derailed from their true from the truth that God had given them. He goes on ten verse ten. He says, remember the cost that was paid. He says, we have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have. No right to eat. The Altar he's referring to is the altar in heaven. But he's talking about the people from the Old Testament specifically the priests. The leave ice and the Prese high specifically had a lot of liberty. They were allowed to go places and do things that the common Israelites weren't. And they at times became big headed on this and they utilized and. Their ability to do such things but even in such high esteem and even having allowances to go places that no one else could go. There is a place that they are not allowed to go the Hebrews writer says that if they continue to trust in that covenant. If they continue to follow through with the Old Testament after the new has come and definitely shown that the old needs to be done away with and was. There is no salvation for them. They as important as they were under the old guard and in the Old Testament. They're not part of the new if they refuse to come. He says for the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin are buried outside the camp. So the sin sacrifice and and the laying on of hands, there were two animals to bowls. And you would. They would sacrifice the one and they would put the blood and the ashes on the other and the prayer basically was to say that we want to transfer the sins of the people upon this animal and they would the scapegoat. So they were not bulls. Skate Bowl, and that's not that's not a word and so they would take the scapegoat out of the city and they would release it out into the Wilderness. They wouldn't kill it. They wouldn't eat it. They would simply release it and they would release the sins out. Outside of the city outside of the people was the imagery that God was going for their. And even though the blood..

"There's a plethora of things we could be involved in all. That's waiting is for us to get involved. I hate to say concludes because we're still in verse nine but the last point we're making here this evening is remember righteousness. Now he starts with something very similar to righteousness hospitality, compassion encouragement those are elements of righteousness most certainly. But I want to notice especially the righteousness that he's talking about here in verse nine he says do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines for it is good that the heart be established by grace not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them. Now it's weird thing for him to say now poll in Asians would say. Toss about with every wind of doctrine like a ship that's just battered back and forth that some individuals are that way with the doctrine with. They learned they just pick it up and they and they run with it even if it's not biblical, if they hear something from a friend of theirs that sounds interesting or sounds like something they might like or even sounds biblical. They will post it on facebook. They will share it and it sometimes ridiculous. The things that people share and I'm going through facebook and I'm like that's not biblical at all one in the world. Now it sounds biblical at first but more precisely it sounds like something that we'd like to. Biblical. It says something that we'd like to be true in most cases. And people share it and I always wonder what in the world did we even see if what we were sharing was the truth or not because we need to have. We need to remember the truth. When he did go back to it regularly as James. Talks about the mirror that we like to leave behind. But tells US exactly who we are supposed to be there in James Chapter One. Paul would even say that if anyone comes in relation chapter one if anyone comes teaches any other doctrine, any other gospel than what we have taught you right here right now even angel even me Paul says you should count him as a curse, the importance of truth and the verification of truth. What was it about the Berea that made them more noble. It was that they searched the scriptures to make sure the things Paul was saying we're true and accurate. And when they did that, they found out that they were accurate that what Paul was saying was absolutely true. And they were prepared to become Christians because the Old Testament dated in the new and they came to that conclusion. And they did it in exactly the way got intended them to not to take Paul at his word because he could do some pretty fancy things that he could speak in tongues that he could heal or that when he got bit by snakes, he didn't immediately die. It was that what he said was explicitly true from the Bible and we need to get back to being oracles of God that we're going to share his word and it alone we need to remember the truth and remember it not. Not on one day year not on two days a year. That's generous Christmas and.

"And. There are many who have sat in their classes who've learned and grown because of it. And then whose faith follow. and. If you didn't understand the way, it's worded or the way it's being utilized. That is to say whose faith follow their teachings. Who enact the things they see right? Who Talk the talk and who walk the walk you might say, and there needs to be an appreciation for elders who do what elders are supposed to do who take care of the body of Christ. Who put their their very live sometimes on hold to deal with the things that are going on in our lives who help us to grow and to prosper who find opportunities to encourage. US. Those. As we have here in polling our elders worthy of respect, and we should obey them who rule over US and be in submission says. Because the elders watch out for our souls. That's how you know the beginning of our seventeen is not about anyone who happens to rule over you. A special level of respect is due to the elder ship, the shepherds, the predators. Who are responsible for your souls? He says those who must give an account because they will. Just, as a teacher, people should not be too. Enthusiastic about becoming teachers necessarily without preparation because teachers will receive a stricter condemnation, James Chapter three but he says here, let them do so with joy and not with grief, try to make their job easier. They're trying to help you and you are sabotaging not only their efforts when you grumble and complain constantly, but you're sabotaging your own relationship with them and. Your sabotaging yourself for that would be unprofitable for you. He says we need to respect elders and respect the relationship that can be built between us and them. and not to consider them. In a way that is a prudent for their relationship with God that is not beneficial to them. These are not individuals we should lay every burden upon, but these are individuals who could use our support, our help who could use US coming to them and saying, hey, how can I help the church? How can I help you? How can I get involved? Imagine if if the elders here if Mister Jerry Mr, Brian had so many people coming to him saying, Hey, how can we do good for the church? How can we help? How can we assist? What can we do? That they had to Moses say, okay guys we need to calm down. All right the too much right. What if what if they had to say something like that? Imagine they had an announcement from the pulpit one day and said, I need you to sell volunteering for so many things like we've got enough going on. That'd be incredible. Spoiler, alert we're not there yet. But that would be incredible and imagine how the Church would grow not only the body of Christ here in this place. But how the church worldwide could grow. If we took a stance that we're going to do as much as we can to further the Kingdom of God. And the first place would be a great place for you to go. To your elders if you're not part of the congregation here, find and talk to the elders who are in your area who are over the congregation where you live. And Talk to them about how you can help. Talk to them about what the church needs and how you can help, support it and supply for it not only in financial services, but also in spiritual services..

"If it is right and good if I am I John Chapter one in verse seven walking in the light season the light. then. My relationship with my stuff will not get in the way because I know I don't need this stuff. Because if I have stuff fine and if I don't have stuff that's fine too because this life is not about the possessions that you can. You can gain control of, but it is in fact about. Our preparation for the next and verse six again, and that's what allows him to boldly say. The Lord is my helper. I will not fear what can men do to me are trust is not in our stuff it's not in our strength it's not in our network of friends. It's in the Lord. In, Jesus Christ. In verse seven, he says, we need to remember those who rule over you, which would be the shepherd. So he says remember your relationship with your spouse with your stuff with your shepherds. Yes. I worked very hard to get that to be a literal fashion. I struggled for awhile to come up with shepherds what a ridiculous thing. In verse, Seventy says, remember those who rule over you who have spoken the word of God to you. Whose family follow I love that whose faith follow Continuing it says considering the outcome of their conduct and then in versity says, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever, and then in verse seven, he picks up this again and I'm not sure why he separates it with so much. Perhaps there's a really good reason that I missing. But in verse Seventeen, he says obey those who rule over U., N. be submissive or they watch out for your souls as those who must give account let them do so with joy and not with grief for what would be for that would be unprofitable for you. He says remember the people that are taking care of you. He is specifically talking about elders in this case, elders potentially a level of talking to preachers or about preachers who spoke the word of God to you. But we know from our study and Titus that elders are supposed to be are not supposed to be novices and the truth and are supposed to be able to communicate the word of. God. So many of them very likely did share the gospel with others we have. Incredible. Elder Pauling who are able to teach and who have spent time developing lessons..

"And whether it continues after all of this nonsense and all of this Corentin is over or whether we rain back on some of it that we'll talk about that at the time. But for now, for us to be able to do anything to help not only one another, but the world at large to come closer to God is a good thing. Remember. Moral directions hospitality. Compassion encouragement. Verse four he begins a session on relationships. He says, marriage is honorable among all and the bed on defiled but foreign caters and adulterers God will judge there's an implication here that you would be protective of the marriage bed even before you're married. That you would respect the marriage that is to got a place according to I Corinthians seven where. A sexual relationship is allowable permissible to take care of the physical needs of both parties. But you need to remember your relationship with your spouse, not just the marital bed respect. The relationship marriage he says is honorable among all. Paul would say that. The two individuals take care of one another and in fact, belong to one another. And that IM- the importance he places there in First Corinthians seven and the importance he places in husband loving his wife. As Christ loved the Church and a wife submitting to her husband if Asians chapter five. CanNot Be. undersold. On a day to day basis, we need to remember our relationships in that includes. The relationship we have with our spouse. Second in verse five he says, Let your conduct be without covetousness be content with with such things as you have for he. Himself has said I will never leave nor forsake you. So we may boldly say the Lord is my helper. I will not fear what can men do to me What can men do to me? When I remember my relationship with my spouse and then with my stuff what a weird thing to say, remember your relationship with your stuff and that's not to say, engender that relationship build upon that relationship or develop that relationship. It is to remember what that relationship should be. Stuff is simply that it is the possessions of this life and there is nothing intrinsically valuable to those possessions because all things will turn to dust and ash in the end. In fact, in I Timothy Chapter six in verse six, He puts it plain league now godliness with contentment is great gain. Ends with a warning there in verse ten that many have Pierce themselves through. That sound pierce themselves through with many sorrows over there covetousness and their desire for wealth and gain. But what does he points out here in verse five to help us respect our relationship with our stuff to manage covetousness as it might come upon us. He says for himself has said I will never leave you nor forsake you the emphasis he's placing you have what you need and because of that because I can trust in the Lord. Because as we talked about from Second Timothy Chapter One verse twelve I know whom I have believed in the most important aspect of what I place in his hand. That is what will continue and cannot be taken away that that is what will carry me through to the end. In verse six he says, the Lord is my helper. This is what allows me to boldly say I know that my relationship with Jesus Christ and Him Crucified.

"Even after all that, they are still able somehow to sing the praises of God. Even, in chains any ends there in verse three since you yourselves are in the body also he says those who are mistreated remember the prisoners as if chained with them like how would you want to be treated if you were chained there with them? And to think about that, because the things that we might want aren't necessarily going to be the same things that they are going to one. This is a part of compassion. It's a part of respecting the needs of others and that the things that you might like aren't going to be the same things that others might need or want for the situation at hand and he says remember the prisoners. and. Those who are mistreated. Now that would, of course, speak to many of the apostles and disciples of the day of following Jesus death into the first century and beyond many were predicted to be punished killed even and many would do that. Very thing many would go through martyrdom because of their convictions in Christ. In, first and second Timothy. Chapter one in Verse Eighty says therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord. Nor of me His But share with me in the suffering of the Gospel according to the power of God. Paul wants to remind Timothy that that even though people are going to speak poorly of him because he is imprisoned, some people are just going to decide that he must deserve whatever it's coming to him because he's obviously done something wrong. Like you don't get into prison unless you've done something wrong. Well, that's not necessarily true. There are a number of people throughout the Bible. who go to prison because of the wrongdoing of others because of the sins of the people of the time where they live. And Paul says don't be ashamed of my chains and there were many congregations that could have pulled his support that could have stopped helping him along the way because he was in prison in Rome and they didn't want the backlash that would come from helping him. They didn't want to deal with that. And yet they did. They continue to help him and they continue to take care of him. Who was downtrodden who needed encouragement and they sent not only their word but they sent help and it was. Of Excellent Assistance to Paul in those times of difficulty in verse twelve says, for this reason, I also suffer these things. Nevertheless I am not ashamed for I, know whom I have believed and persuaded that he is able to keep what I've committed to him until that day pulses regardless of what happens regardless of who backs out of assisting me because of these difficulties who refuses to help because of the the connection that they might have then that people might associate them with this evil doer obviously because he's in jail. and. He says I'm not afraid to do the Lord's will I don't need to worry because I know I know who? I believe in I know in whom I believe and I am persuaded that he is able to take care of me to take care of all. That is necessary and there are times that we are going to spend and I appreciate the encouragement that members of the congregation here have been to me people who have. been a part of the livestream who have written to me and I appreciate all those who were working with me to put material out. To put Bible, class material out for children or lessons put together for people and it's incredible what we're capable of doing..

"To it. We have a tendency to forget. To lose sight of what is truly important. And, the temptation or the tendency of. The. People of our past as well as today. To create slogans I suppose you would say to create adages mottos that help them to remember and to never. Forget. To encourage one another and to remember in the case of never forget that the separation that we sometimes crea isn't real. It is a contrived separation. Like the clergy Laity separation like apostles and disciples. Now, there is a difference between apostles and disciples but that doesn't mean that they are not part of the same group of people dedicated to God. We sometimes separate the first century from the twenty, th century Christians. And the people of God throughout all time we like to divide them. But in truth as we saw a couple of weeks ago at the end of Hebrews Chapter Eleven, the Bible concludes that they are united. That, they would not be made perfect apart from US And the individuals that Hebrews writer is speaking to all the way back in the first century. Are just as important to him as we are. We are of the same il we are of the same blood we are. The same group of people elect according to. Christ. We are the called the chosen of God we are children of his. And it's important as we wrap up the letter of the book of Hebrews, it's almost as if the Hebrews writer said, what do I want them to remember? Especially considering as we read through it, we're going to see the conclusion he comes to the things that he felt. Needed to be discussed, needed to be talked about the things that. That the author wanted us to remember. He begins ear and I broke it up into three parts if you have outlined with us, remember simple moral directions. Second Remember your relationships or responsibilities. And third remember righteousness. These are three aspects of our daily life that we need to maintain a vigilance in and remember and never forget. Remember your simple moral directions..

"Good evening. Thank you for joining us here this evening and. I want to. Thank you all for your support and encouragement. I'm glad that such an avenue exists that we can still gather together and I use that term loosely. Sure. But we can still be a part of one another's lives and we can still participate one with another. This is. The best we're going to get and I hope that. It doesn't last too much longer. But Whatever the case is, we will do our best to move forward and to serve and worship God. The word for this evening is remember remember. And our title this evening is remember remember and never forget I. Don't know if those. are familiar to you though. From some cultures in some places, it would be perhaps In. Sixteen O five there was a major event that took place in London. And a poem was written about it. That was titled On the fifth of November and the title began. Remember remember the fifth of November. John Milton's poem titled On the Fifth. Of November alluded to the happenings there in sixteen o five. And the British call it Guy Fawkes Day. When a London terrorist named Guy Fawkes was arrested in the middle of his plan to blow up the house of Lord, which is basically The king and the entire government of Britain were in session. And they found him on the keg guarding his powder keg. It was a plan that had been put together by a terrorist group and he was a part of it. And when. I. Understand it when the British say remember remember it is not only in reference to this event. But it is to remind them how close they came to peril or destruction. And the whole reason behind it of course, is a bit I dunno subjective but they wanted to replace the government that existed and reestablish the monarchy. And so. They named it after the guy who was arrested Guy Fawkes. Day, which is an odd thing. I'm not sure we would do that in the united. States but that's what they did. And it became even a poem and as thing that they say, I don't know if say this regularly to themselves but it is part of their their culture remember remember the fifth of November. Recently. Congressman Dan Crenshaw Texas he was on of all things snl because someone on SNL L. had made fun of him and. They invited him on because of the backlash had received because. Congressman Dan. Crenshaw. Is a military veteran that had lost his eye in service to his country. And onto the show. He had an opportunity to speak to the group to the audience and he said that coming veterans day that it would be fine maybe to say, thanks for your service. But he says he would actually encourage you to say something else tell a veteran never forget he says. When you say never forget to a veteran you're implying that as an American you are in it with them not separated by some imaginary barrier between civilians and veterans, but connected together as grateful. Fellow. Americans he added. We'll never forget the sacrifices made by veterans past and present, and the events of nine eleven those who lost.

"So those sends that, we're initially covered by the blood of Christ. They're not anymore. After having received. The truth. Second Peter. Chapter two in verse twenty he says for after they have escaped the pollution of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome. The latter end is worse for them than the beginning and we can speculate why. At the very least you do that, you, you will know for eternity that you're there because you chose to be there. You will know that you had redemption in your hands. And you gave it up. That you could have continued steadfastly and the apostles doctrine in breaking and brand with the saints. And you could be living in eternity with God, but you chose different, and whether that's the limiting of it whether that's the high end of it. or whether it gets worse than that because you have rejected, the Gospel is immaterial. Hell is an awful place regardless. This is harsh. The end of such a life nod in the trenches, but after your battle is over when one's life is done if this is the accurate depiction of them. Those changes that need to be made weren't made. The nee received a just recompense for their decisions. And as hard as it is to accept that as hard as it is to deal with that. That is exactly what the Bible describes. The Bible describes it here. Look at Verse Twenty Seven, but a certain fearful expectation of judgement and fiery indignation, which will devour the adversaries. There are obvious consequences because you have absolved your relationship with Jesus, so though sins are no longer covered like the unforgiving servant who refuse to forgive that small debt though he had been forgiven this. Incredible debt. And when it's found out. His is laid back on his shoulders reinstated. In full, your sins are your own wants more and I. Want you to think what what compelled you to become a Christian in the first place. And he could have been a number of things. But if you became a Christian, it was because you were concerned, not only within but righteousness. How far have we fallen if we become to such a place that we're no longer concern that? Where repentance doesn't seem like an option. Where we continue in sin, even though grace has abounded to us. Now. How long? How long are we unable to access that in some would conclude forever right? There are no longer remains a sacrifice for sin, but that's a current situation. Remember that present active participle present active means. It's a habit. It's something you continue to do. That's condition that you are in so as long as that condition is the case then your condition of no longer having a sacrifice, also the case, which means you need to change your condition..

"That was the very problem. The nature of the problem in First Corinthians five, a man was living in adultery. This father's life everyone even the gentiles and knew that should not happen. And yet no one said anything about it. Everyone patted themselves on the back for being. Let's use word again progressive. Progress for progress. Sake is not a good thing. So that you can believe that you are at the head of the curve this curve. You don't want to be at the head of when it comes to sin and look at the language that he uses there. In, verse thirty two. He says that those who practice such things are deserving of death now. He's not talking about physical death. He's talking about eternal death. Now you are going to look at that. Listen to go. Wow, these people are really awful, but it was a spectrum right. It was a range from bad to worse, but bad was enough people who committed these kinds of sins, and did so willfully where people who had rejected the gospel of Christ. And they would not accept. The grace of God and had given up practically. If you go to chapter two verse two, he says, but we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things, the same language innovations as well as a few other places this practice this they make a habit of it. They continue in. This is not a mistake that has been made this season, even theoretically a willful choice, one willful choice. In a heart that decides later on that they need to change. This is a habit that has been formed and continued and nurtured. So when we start thinking that we follow within this category, it's very much like the issue of sinning against the Holy Spirit in Matthew. Chapter Twelve, and usually what I encourage people with is generally. If you're worried that you've done, you probably haven't done it. Because it's the whole degradation of their relationship. If you care enough that you're worried that you have violated the relationship with the holy. Spirit, you're at least in the right frame of mind to get right with God. These people have devoted themselves of it now. That's not to say that it's acceptable for us to know better and do it anyway. Or that there are consequences for knowing better and doing it anyway. Or that? We should continue in sin. That grace may abound. Romans chapter, six verses one and two. But that what? He is explicitly saying here in Hebrews Chapter Ten. Does not explicitly apply to us in every scenario in every situation whenever we sin, even though we'd like to apply to. We frankly have a problem. Condemning ourselves regularly and vehemently. And then making ourselves feel bad for it, and the devil is right behind that he is immediately behind that desire that we have to browbeat ourselves into submission to him. And it all it does in most cases is discourage us from doing the right thing rather than. Giving up the wrong thing. and. We can guilt ourselves so strongly so severely that we feel like there's no possible way to come back. We as New Testament Christians. Even if we were to walk away from the Lord I pray that you would never feel like there was no possible hope for return..

"Is again focusing on the results right focusing on the reward that you're looking for on the promises of God because sometimes. The nonsense this world puts us through. Is Difficult to deal with. It is intense, sometimes the weight of the world that they can place on us and the. To encourage US or discourage us from being faithful. And, he says. He says we've got to stand true. We've got a stand. And we've got to remember where we came from. We've already come so far you if you're a child of God, you've already come so far. Even becoming a Christian imagine how many people in the world right now have not taken that step. Unless you encourage us then more and more to go and evangelize and to help those who are unfaithful to the Lord, but for us who are his. We've already taken. What is the first step in this path? And perhaps your farther down that line perhaps you have. As you see the day approaching, pursue righteousness. You're going to come. Today's where life is just tribulation where being in this world is just pain and awfulness, because the world desires the to be that way, we must remain humble. And First Corinthians chapter six in verse nine, he says. Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived, neither four indicators nor idolaters nor adulterers, homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous nor drunkards nor. Nor extortion irs will inherit the Kingdom of God. He states this as a pure and definable fact. Like, this is the case people who continue in the sins, people who refuse to repent or try to change their lives who are compelled by these things they will not enter the Kingdom of God, he says. And then the next verse he says. And such were some of you. Imagine you're in Corinth. You got to remember this. This is after I Corinthians five where he's already blasted them about this man who's living in ultra this father's wife, and they are the results of their acceptance and tolerance of this man, and then patting themselves on the back for how spiritual and righteous they are by being tolerated by tolerating this guy. And he says that's not how it should have been. You shouldn't be padding yourself on the back for that. In fact, and then chapter sixty says in some view and such were some of you are the backwards. And such were some of the he listed some of the most awful sins in human the human mind, right the the things that we put on that list of the worst sins ever. Whether it exists or not. We put it on that list, and he says some of you were part of that..

"But then in chapter one of Second Thesselonians if you pick up in verse six, he says since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation. Those who trouble you? He says end to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from Heaven with his angels, inflaming fire, taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus, Christ these shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power, when he comes in that day to be glorified in his saints and. and to be admired among all those who believe because our testimony among you was believed verse eleven floor. We also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling and fulfill all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and that you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. These are things to take seriously in the language that is used is used intentionally to convey an attitude of severity. You look through the Gospels in his Jesus Communicates About Hell. He communicates some pretty dire results to those who are in judgment or of Hellfire and the communication. Would we talk about it? We talk about heaven and we talk about having being. The most incredible place ever they use language because they use the language they use talking about the walls made of gemstones and the being of a single Pearl, and the street made of solid gold. Does that mean that that's the way heaven is going to be. No, it's a spiritual place. But how do you communicate? How Amazing Heaven is to a bunch of humans? You do it in physical terminology and so he did and when you talk about Hell. You talk about it in physical terminology US fire that has clinched and worms that never die and. The weeping and gnashing of teeth I mean these are the most horrific things that we can conceive of in our human terminology and God uses all of them to talk about Hell. And when he talks about heaven, he uses so many amazing and magnificent thoughts. That there is no question in my mind. That it even if there's no gold in heaven, it'll be the most incredible place that I will have ever seen, and it's the place that I want to go, and that's what the Bible communicates. If you get nothing else from the Bible's description of Heaven and hell, you WanNa go to heaven. You don't want to go to hell I mean if that's all you get out of it, you're in a great place. And practically where God intended us all to be, we want to go to heaven. We don't want to go to hell and we need to take these things seriously. The language that's used by the new testament writers as well as Jesus. Is severe purposefully. We're going to skip thirty, two, thirty, three and thirty four for just a moment..

"There we go. I'VE GOT MY HIBISCUS. Tea My hibiscus. Hawthorne T. There you go now my my now. You're ready to go is about a young toast so good to have everybody in Studio Navene does with. Us and We've got one bad and and it's so great it's good and Ronaldo's on the control so everything's under control. Did you meet Rinaldo? Yeah okay. So he's he's our new board up. I think we've gone through like the list three at least three. Not because of us. Just there's a Lotta shifting going on it Iheartmedia but bill so he adapted to Rinaldo so there you go so we got us Rinaldo and I absolutely love it. He just let him impress you with the songs that he picks. Okay all right. Well we've got a great show lined up today. We've got a law. We're GONNA be talking about artificial colors flavors and their links to allergies. Add and perhaps even Parkinson's there is so much information out there. You guys so much and I love delivering it because I feel it's so important and we've got John Bennett. An studio with us he's going to be talking about. Why people avoid therapy I have my own ideas. Why do I'm pretty sure I'm correct? We'll see if you agree with me and we've got selene I- cler. She is the Karma Baker going to be talking about enlightened baking with Karma Baker. If you've never heard of enlightened bacon baked in lighting. Excuse me let me start. We're enlightened baking okay. There you go there you go so much. I WanNa tell you so. I got the latest copy of Nature's magazine and there's of course stuff in here about the corona virus the latest. Okay so this is the coronas and some of this. I'm telling you I don't care just because it's a publication and it's the International Journal of Science. I question everything. Spend some issues and stuff and yeah oh absolutely and especially when it comes to vaccines I'll just put that out there I I I don't I believe very little I'll just tell you that so and I've read a lot of books on it so it's not like I'm speaking from Uneducated standpoint resources you read a lot L. I read a lot but this is about the corona virus. It says name prompts. The disease caused by the new. Corona virus has now an official name. It's a C. O. V. I D. Dash Nineteen in case. You were wondering and the disease and the virus has been Had been going by a number of Monikers including Twenty Nineteen Dash and C. O. V. since they emerged in China in December the World Health Organization which announced the new name on the eleventh February said that it chose one that did not refer to a geographical location. An animal or a group of people to avoid stigma on the same day a group with the International Committee of tax and tax tech synonymous. I guess tax on taxonomy of viruses which is responsible for naming the pathogens designated the virus itself S. A. R. S. SARS SARS Dash C O v Dash to and it goes on to say the group said that this term highlights the new virus similar similarly yeah similarity the similarity bear with me. You guys to SARS C. O. V. The Corona virus identified in two thousand three that causes Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome but the virus named Caused consternation particularly among the Chinese virologist who worry that it will confuse the public and impede efforts to control the pathogen spread although the two viruses belong to the same species the corona virus spreads faster than SARS c. o. v. but is less deadly and. I thought that was important. To get that out to the public's right so it's less deadly and says says Shibo Zhong Of RILO virologist at Fudan University in Shanghai. The new corona virus has infected more than seventy three thousand people which sounds about right. But it says that it's it's not as deadly as the SARS virus so you just got to keep your immune system strong right you and then there was. There was something else in here to that. Really hit a nerve with me because you know how I talk about food. Waste all the time and this is some food for thought. Okay is says the nations that waste the most. The world's says the world waste twice Twice as much food as previously estimated and rich countries are disproportionately responsible markets allow harvested vegetables to rot families throughout leftovers. These and other forms of loss of waste claim one third of the world's food supply according to an estimate by the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organization. That's the F. A. O. And that's not the. Isn't that the name of that place that you go f. o? Okay so Monica Vendor boss Verma at a way Gin Nijmegen University and Research in the League in the Netherlands and her colleagues wanted to explore. How consumers influence affects food way so the researchers drew on two thousand three data collected by the World Health Organization and the FAO and others to estimate calories purchase calories consumed and calories wasted by people around the Globe and Belgium had the most food waste and the Philippines had the least And so we really need. It says we did not include large food wasting countries such as the United States. They didn't they just know how wasteful we are. It's it you know what it's kind of like kids that don't have to pay the electricity bill. Okay or don't have to pay the Food Bill. You don't have to buy the groceries and they just go and they just think money grows on trees and they just you know waste and get whatever they want. Scrubbing my son. Yeah no my daughter likes I. I took my dad the other night. Like excuse me. Did you have permission to turn the air conditioning down? Do you know how much that just cost a cool down that whole part of the house you know. I'm like you don't get a right to do that without permission. Putting all type locks on thermostats now right password protected because people are serious about making sure that their energies not going to waste. Well listen to this. This is interesting. It says globally people waste five hundred twenty seven calories per person per day more than twice as much food as scientists had thought. Wow Okay Yeah especially. Oh Gosh arrestable. It is terrible away so much food every day. Yep Yep the unfortunate thing is though that with all the food that we waste you know you would think there are so many people out there who live in these neighborhoods. Who are food deserts? Are these kids? Who Don't get the proper nutrients in that? They need for their day to day consumption. They're they're not eating right in all these places who are wasting these food. They can go to homeless people. They can go to impoverished communities. They can go to these places because book since we live in such a fearful society. Everybody's scared awesome. We're not willing to do the right thing. Yep and say hey I'm going. I'm not going to eat this or we're going to throw this away. Would you mind having my dad used to you? Know he never stopped working he used to work at. Heb In his eighties he would you know help. Just do stuff But he used to get so upset they would set out just crates of good food to be tossed into the garbage and a lot of times he would bring it home Because it my father is just how I was raised. You just didn't waste food. You had respect for the earth respect for the the energy and the money and the hard work that it took to put food on the table and so and I love that I was raised. That way do And I think more people out there should think about that about wasting food because it does take its toll on on our environment and our pocketbooks there because you're buying more meat by more chicken and if we're able to eat it all we with my which we need to buy as much and then they would not feel like I'm saying right like I'm telling you doin. You bring up such an excellent point. It's bad enough that we waste food but then we waste food for animals that have been tortured their whole life. You guys listen to me. They're tortured their whole life. If it's regular factory farm animal meat that goes for chicken eggs beef pork all of it. So you can say oh. I don't feel like eating the rest of that sausage. Today I'm watching my weight and you toss it into the garbage after that animal has suffered for you for you dodge for you got me. That's right you got me started streaming to stop. I'm going to go to a spiritual side. Real quick spirituel daily real quick. Allow yourself to have inner peace. Threats Mars Colonizers Will Face In Outer Space

"Today, we will be discussing what things can psychologically and physically harmed, astronauts when they go to Mars, and if you find this topic interesting make sure to hit the subscribe button. So you get new stuff every single day. Thank you everybody. Who's been listening to the podcast and also to our patriot patrons patriot dot com slash space. News podcast, you can help support future podcasts. Also become a space kit at for as little as one dollar per month. And I just soft launch space news pod dot com. It's a place where you can find new ways to listen to the podcast ways to communicate with the hit me up on Twitter, Facebook, etc. So if you're gonna chance go to space news, pod dot com and check it out. So human beings are going to go to the red planet. Eventually, it's just a given. We're gonna get there and before. Before we get there. We have to figure out the things that are going to harm us and one of those things is our body temperature and our body temperature can rise and lower depending on what kind of environment we're in. Now, if we go to Mars it's really stark compared to what it's like earth like unearth. It's weakened handle low temperatures in what we think are high temperatures of around one hundred hundred twenty degrees. Then you're in a court temperature starts going up. It's normal ninety eight point six ish, and then you're fine. But after that if you go higher than that, you could die of heat exposure. And if you go lower you could die from being to cold in Mars, the equator is eighty to one hundred degrees below zero that's in the summer. Okay. So Subir eighty to one hundred degrees below zero and during the day, sometimes it can be sixty five to seventy degrees Fahrenheit. So that's not too bad. And that's why humans will always have to be in some sort of protective thing, whether it's a pod that they're traveling in or whether it's a settlement on Mars itself, or in a space suit that can handle these kinda temperatures in if we have these structures in place while that could take care of the next thing, which is a lack of oxygen. There's very little oxygen on Mars and Mars atmosphere is highly toxic. It's carbon dioxide in nitrogen mix of those two. So we'll need a survival system spacesuit or like I was saying before in a structure that we could be in at all times. We can't really be outside of something like that. With you know, like if you go to the beach can square flip flops shorts in your fine. You can't do that on Mars. So anything we do on the actual surplus of Mars will have to be in a suit. But of course, you can take the suit off when you're inside of the colony in win year on Mars, there's microgravity this a little bit of gravity. You know? It's one third of verse gravity and micro gravity bone loss. Occurs leading to ask DO Perot SIS as well. As loss of muscle mass, strengthen endurance body fluids are affected, and it could change your cardiovascular system because of this and any sort of prolonged exposure to weightlessness increases risk associated with bone, demeanor location, lowered blood volume and also immuno deficiency. So there's health risks not only on the surface of Mars, but also inside your own body when you get there. So there's going to have to be ways for us. To figure out how to neutralize these before we actually send astronauts to Mars in the famous twin study done by Massa recently on the I s will greatly help our chances to survive on the red planet. Recording your episode anchored at FM will distribute it so it can be hard everywhere on Spotify, apple podcast, Google podcasts, Stitcher, every place podcasts can be heard, and you can make money with your podcast. It's pretty simple. There's no minimum listenership to start making money with anchor. So if you wanna make a little bit of money while having a cool podcast while. Download the crap or go to anchor F M to get started. And then we have radiation solar radiation in space, and on extraterrestrial worlds is kind of crazy, especially if they don't have magnetic fields and radiation sickness is on long term effect of offer travel, and we really not found ineffective solution to stop radiation from penetrating into the human body when you're out in space. There's numerous theories of how we do this. And some of them are really weird and wacky one of them in particular that I that I find funny is using human waste that you have in the bathroom in U Penn. The walls of the actual space station the spacecraft that you're flying tomorrow. Then just to make sure that there's an extra layer of something between the U and the. Radiation. That's going to try to kill you on your way to Mars. And it sounds disgusting. And it kind of is. But if it's going to help you survive on your way to Mars, I think, I would probably do it. I mean, where would the waste go. Anyway, you might as well use it right in the flight tomorrow is going to be really long. It's about seven months travel time in you're not gonna be a spacious beautiful space station. Like you see in the SCI fi movies. You're going to be stuck at a tin can something like crew dragon. That's going to the SS. It's about the size of sept- for some people. So something like that could be living heb module. But there could be things attached to it, of course, depending on how we send people there. So right now, we have a few solutions something a little bit bigger than crew dragon something with basically like living canister on the back of it. And then that gets jettisoned down. To the service of Mars them. When you get there. There's actually a living area when you get to the red planet, but think about this for a second as you're traveling the Mars, you can't get out if you ever been on a long car trip, when you you know, you have to take a bathroom break or you just want to stretch your legs, and you can just pull over to the side of the road or stop at a rest, stop, and you can get out of the car, and you can walk around or walk your dog or do whatever you wanna do while on the way to Mars. You cannot physically do that. You're stuck in a canister until you get to Mars seven months in this one spot. We don't really know the psychology of what's gonna happen. When people are stuck in that small of environment for that long time. And so far the longest day on a space station was four hundred thirty eight days, we didn't get a lot of research from that. Because it was you know, before we actually thought about going to Mars, and what we were actually going to compute. To need the resources to get to Mars so that data's kind of jumbled up, and we don't really have a lot of technology involved with the with the actual stay. So it can be done. Now. What happens when you spend that much time in a canister, you get to Mars, and then you stuck in another habitat with the same people that you went there with second due to your head. You know, what's the psychology of all of this? And we're not quite sure. So there's gonna be a few people that get to Mars, and then we're gonna have to study them in. We're going to have to see what actually happens to people than how to combat it. You know, because right now, we're just doing these studies the twin studies on the to figure out, you know, how biologically different people are when they're in space, and when they are on the ground, and psychologically, you know, we really haven't done a ton of tests with long duration spaceflight and also. Hesitation another planet. So it's not just the planet. It is not just space, and it's not just your body. But also your own mind is trying to fight against you for doing this. So if you can become all of that, you could go to Mars, and you can have a successful mission on Mars, and you can lead the human race into the next step

"One of the best Super Bowl commercials is one the rest of the country. Didn't get a chance to see. It was done by HEB commercials. Yeah. Awesome. But it is a guy who's on a deserted island stranded there. And then washing ashore is a cooler full of HEB products before he put with palm fronds spelled out sinned not help. But HEB. Landsberg was really good. Check out the commercial. If you missed it, by the way, it's on her. Yeah, we postage. Yup. It's under Houston's morning news. And while you're there to run your stop watch on Gladys Knight. You told me how long do you think our national anthem is according to the people who have money on it. The online betting folks the over under was a minute. Fifty Gladys lights national anthem they say clocked in one forty nine point five zero. Ten seconds shorts. Go see the folks at the men's clinic, let's start with a blood test. That's you find out if you have low testosterone if you don't then you can look for some other causes. "Celebration at your local HEB. Evidence was of course, gave me a great deal of difficulty in Moscow. I don't know why. I thought I got it. But I struggled with it. One of the things I recall distinctly is the challenges to getting something into evidence. But once it's in evidence, it's taken by the jury back into the jury room, but it's important to get entered into evidence to some extent, what President Trump did last night is inter those words and concepts and statistics into evidence. So that the conversations that begin today use those data points. So don't forget that's also an important part of his speech. Now once you listen, very carefully to the speech, my fellow Americans tonight. I'm speaking to you because there is a growing humanitarian and security crisis and our southern border every day customs and border patrol agents encounter thousands of illegal immigrants trying to enter our country. We are out of space to hold them. And we have no way to promptly return them back home to their country, America. Proudly welcomes millions of immigrants who enrich our society and contribute to our nation. But all Americans are hurt by uncontrolled illegal migration. It's strange public resources, and drives down jobs and wages. Among those hardest. Hit are African Americans and Hispanic Americans are southern border is a pipeline for vast quantities of illegal drugs, including meth heroin cocaine and Fenton, oh every week. Three hundred of our citizens are killed by heroin alone. Ninety percent of which floods across from our southern border. More Americans will die from drugs. This year then were killed in the entire Vietnam war in the last two years ice officers made two hundred sixty six thousand arrests of aliens with criminal records, including those charged or convicted of one hundred thousand assaults thirty. Thousand sex crimes and four thousand violent killings over the years, thousands of Americans have been brutally killed by those who illegally entered our country and thousands more lives will be lost. If we don't act right now. This is a humanitarian crisis a crisis of the heart and a crisis of the soul last month twenty thousand migrant children were illegally brought into the United States a dramatic increase. These children are used as human pawns by vicious coyotes and ruthless gangs. One in three women are sexually assaulted on the dangerous trek up through Mexico women. Our children are the biggest victims by far of our broken system. This is the tragic reality of illegal immigration on our southern border. This is the cycle of human suffering that I am determined. And to end my administration has presented congress with a detailed proposal to secure the border and stop the criminal gangs, drug, smugglers and human traffickers, it's a tremendous problem. Our proposal was developed by law enforcement professionals and border agents at the department of homeland security, these are the resources they have requested to properly perform their mission and keep America safe in fact, safer than ever before the proposal from homeland security includes cutting edge technology for detecting drugs. Weapons illegal contraband and many other things we have requested more agents immigration judges and bedspace to process the sharp rise and unlawful migration fueled by very strong economy. Our plan also contains an urgent request for humanitarian assistance and. Medical support. Furthermore, we have asked congress to close border security loopholes. So that illegal immigrant children can be safely and humanely returned back home finally as part of an overall approach to border security law enforcement professionals have requested five point seven billion dollars for a physical barrier at the request of Democrats. It will be a steel barrier rather than a concrete wall. This barrier is absolutely critical to border security. It's also what our professionals at the border want and need. This is just common sense, the border wall would very quickly pay for itself the cost of illegal drugs exceeds five hundred billion dollars a year vastly more than the five point seven billion dollars. We have requested from congress. The wall will also be paid for indirectly by the great new trade deal. We have made with Mexico. Senator Chuck Schumer who you will be hearing from later tonight has repeatedly supported a physical barrier in the past along with many other Democrats, they change their mind only after I was elected president Democrats in congress have refused to acknowledge the crisis, and they have refused to provide our brave border agents with the tools they desperately need to protect our families and our nation. The federal government remains shut down for one reason and one reason only because Democrats will not fund border security. My administration is doing everything in our power to help those impacted by the situation. But the only solution is Democrats to pass the spending Bill that defends our borders and reopens the government this situation could be solved in a forty five minute meeting. I have invited congressional leadership to the White House tomorrow to get this done. Hopefully, we can rise above partisan politics in order to support national security. Some have suggested a barrier is immoral. Then why do wealthy politicians build walls fences, a gates around their homes? They don't build walls because they hate the people on the outside. But because they love the people on the inside the only thing that is immoral is the politicians to do nothing and continue to allow more innocent people to be so horribly victimize America's heart broke the day after Christmas when a young police officer in California was savagely murdered in cold blood by an illegal alien just came across the border. The life of an American hero was stolen by someone who had no right to be in our country day after day precious lives are cut short by those who have violated our borders in California. An air force veteran was raped murdered and beaten to death with a hammer by an ill. Illegal alien with a long criminal history in Georgia and a legal alien was recently charged with murder for killing beheading and dismembering. His neighbor in Maryland MS, thirteen gang members who arrived in the United States as unaccompanied minors were arrested and charged last year after viciously stabbing and beating a sixteen year old girl over the last several years, I've met with dozens of families whose loved ones were stolen I-illegal immigration. I've held the hands of the weeping mothers and embraced the grief stricken fathers, so sad. So terrible. I will never forget the pain in their eyes tremble in their voices and the sadness gripping theirselves. How much more American blood? Must we shed before? Congress does its job. To those who refuse to compromise in the name of border security. I would ask imagine if it was your child your husband or your wife whose life was so cruelly shattered and totally broken every member of congress pass a Bill that ends this crisis to every citizen, call congress and tell them to finally after all of these decades, secure our border. This is a choice between right and wrong Justice and injustice, this is about whether we fulfill our sacred duty to the American citizens we serve what I took the oath of office. I swore to protect our country. And that is what I will always do. So help me God. Thank you and good night. The information that I get from the show that I don't seem to get from other places.
