Yeah which is you know in guy. Summer in every what is summer after the pandemic. Everyone's around being a ho. Be a memorable how this get this roman swipes go to work. Harry go all right. let's hop it. Apart to now maryland has slept with both brothers and the mafia hated the. Kennedy's this is always goes back to the jfk. Assassination mafia fucking hated the candidates because the mafia helped the kennedys get into power. And they were thinking that. After kennedy's got elected they would do a couple different things one leaving the faulk along right. That was like hey like we're gonna get you in you. Let us do our business too. We lost a shit ton of money when cuba felt communist. That's another godfather to where they're building all these unbelievable casinos right off the coast ninety miles from miami and vanna and they put they put a lot of money into those hotels down there and they just gone wants cash route. So they're gonna. Hey you guys removed cash. We're going to go business as usual back in. Cuba may shit on a money and kenny's didn't do that. They didn't support the bay of pigs which you know. Mutual interest the cia. the government. whatever kennedy didn't help. The mafia was pissed about that. And then robert kennedy has attorney general. He went after the mafia as hard as any attorney general in history so he made not only did he not justly malone. He was worse on them than anybody. So there is a theory that i hey maryland. We're going to introduce you to the kennedys. Yeah you do what you do. And then we'll blackmail them okay so that could be another reason. Why the kennedys We just have to get to whack this girl out. He had a relationship with her too and he had been telling her like all the all where the mafia bodies were buried. You know there's jimmy hoffa's name thrown around and any type of like major conspiracy from that era. It seems like she's got a connection to all of them so elections being stolen cuba secrets. Jerry West allegedly talks recruiting Kawhi Leonard to Clippers

"Start with what i think is the most fascinating story of the day little offbeat little out there little weird but absolutely interesting. Do you know where i'm going. I disagree with you about all that but go ahead and explain you. Don't think it's fascinating and this guy is full of crap. No the voice okay. Let's let's set it up so this is a story that started bubble up earlier this week. A guy named johnny wilks is suing jerry west for not making the two point five million dollar payment that he was promised in exchange for his help in landing by the clippers and the clippers went on denied. The claims and said jerry. West didn't even know this guy today way. When did the cooper say that in their statement clippers or providing. Nba evidence that these allegations are false. Right but i've never heard the cooper see. You never knew this guy okay. I'll read the clippers statement lawsuit kabajani wha- replete with inaccuracies allegations are baseless. The clippers are fully cooperating the nba in this investigation Blah blah blah clippers are providing the nba with evidence that the allegations are false. They never denied specifically nine. That's johnny wolverine on the voice mail. So there's a voicemail and so the clippers are out denying it. Meanwhile this guy named johnny wilkes released a voicemail that clearly jerry west right. No no dispute that it's jerry west right right The jerry west left on johnny wilks phone hit that hordic. Excuse me this. Is jerry calling You know. I really want to thank you for know trying to help her. This morning. that everyone over the lakers can thank going getting I just. I had hard to believe that he would want to go to. This show. Very would not even be winning. Getty name in the paper. And he wouldn't be the face of the franchise s richer might be the best player on the team but Hope things are well and will again. I really really appreciate everything. you've done. we will I'll keep your prized. What goes on. But i do wanna get together with you privately and and love to take you to dinner and even sam if he's arou- so we can so i can lease they married to you guys for being so generous and helpful. I'll take care talk you sometimes so so really really appreciate your help really appreciate your offering to take him to. Dinner is a long way from offering him. Two point five million dollars. And did you see the other stuff. This guy wilks is alleging was on the table. That's the most fast. Okay so now. I know why the nba opened up an investigation. Or yesterday you ask me well. Why if this guy is just some money grubber. Why would the nba care. Here's why they care in the lawsuit wilkes also alleges that the if leonard signed with the clippers leonard uncle dennis would receive a house in southern california along with travel expense and that clippers owner steve balmer would fund a hundred million dollar marketing campaign for kawhi leonard. So if if any of that is true that is a blatant violation of the. That's circumventing the salary cap rules. You're giving him value more over and above what his contract pays right. But i think this guy loses all credibility when he says that jerry west was going to give them two point five million dollars just for helping him talked to qui- jerry west doesn't need johnny wilks to talk to anybody and so i have trouble believing this guy. Johnny wilks is. I mean if lie about that chances are you would lie about this. One hundred million dollar marketing campaign the slush fund for uncle. Danettes you are. You actually think this guy. Johnny wilks is telling the truth. Look it's the clippers. It's the clippers you know. They were desperate for desperate for them. They're nowhere without kawhi. He's become the second where them while they're nowhere nowhere with them to write But but this is the centerpiece of their france. The cornerstone that they're building around. Why would they not go to the wall and do anything. It took to get cold leonard. Well i i think the opened an investigation because of those last two points. They made the gets a house and travel expense account and the one hundred million dollar marketing campaign for quiet. You can't do that. Because then free agency is a complete sham. It just goes to ever has the most money if you can offer all that other stuff. So that's why they're looking into it now. They're looking into it. Because this johnny wilks lawsuit consistent. Johnny woke lot is going to say this stuff wouldn't even come up without johnny walk so there's already credibility in the lawsuit. I don't think well no. I disagree that the johnny looks credible in any way. But here's what. Here's what. I'll say i've known jerry west for thirty years. I don't think jerry west would be this stupid now. Of course i could be wrong but jerry's been one of the most upfront direct. And he's almost too candid. Your can be very very candid with everybody. He deals with the i n for johnny. Will you know it's. He's shooting at the king here. Johnny wilks and there's so many people know jerry and he has such a body of work that would indicate he would never do anything like this. That i don't think johnny luke's can win. Unless he has another audiotape. Where with jerry sing. I'm going to give you two point. Five million if you get us why. I think his lawsuits dead in the water. What do you think well. you know. it's interesting. I think there might be something here. Yeah i don't know how you're getting there. This is this is steve bomber. This is a guy who's made of money. This was a guy who's desperate to get his team on the map in los angeles where they are not on the map. Frankly haven't been on the map and certainly worn on the map before qui- so is it. Possible that steve balmer offered extra monetary benefit to kawai in order to get them. I think that's worth an investigation.

Sure. 26 to cleaning the litter boxes. Listen, if you have pets if you have pets that opens up all Ah, whole other realm of Despise chores. That reminds me on the super secret tax line. We have a vote for cleaning the fish tank. Says. I didn't do it when I was younger, But cleaning the fish tank is my number one worst household chore. As an adult. Nasty, gross, slimy, bad. And he adds, It's for a stupid county fair fish from eight years ago that hasn't died yet to which I would say, you know, maybe it be it be a rials. Shame. If something happened to that county fish boy, That would be a really pity that you know. You sleep with the fishes when you're already a fish 85561616 20. When we come back, we'll continue the frequency of the chore. Definitely also adds to the annoyance, although like, Johnny said Sure he does. Every three years. It still gives us imagine it like you're dreading. Ah, ah, year From today, I'll be digging up the septic tank six months from now. Okay, So Johnny's not the only one who has that sentiment as it pertains to the septic tank. The septic sentiment, Tom and Hartford. You're with Johnny on this one, aren't you? I would like a ball away, but I did it. I move now now, anyway, I did it for another years. And if you ask your collar that comes out the pump it out. They have risers. You can put in like a teenage riser and you'll be above ground but the run and we brought him after out anymore. Thanks for the call Tom. I appreciate that. But maybe Johnny, Hopefully Johnny's still listening. Yes, Somebody texted that Anna's well. Tell the septic guy Johnny I hope he realizes henceforth will be known as the septic guy. Tell the septic guy to put on a riser. Then he only has to dig down for inches all right. 85561616 20 As a mailman. They're calling themselves the mailman. I just want to point that out. People don't like that term. I hate cutting the grass after working all day. Yeah, at any time you do something for your job, and then there's a similar activity. At home. Yeah, that would be bad. You're walking all day. Now. I gotta walk my lawn and cut my grass again. Here. The neighborhood kids hire young Jordan Kaczorowski. Ah, young, industrious Jordan. Gazza Rosky. It takes about 30 minutes round full body will tell you something Back in my day. We used to take it to the nearest river and beat our clothes on Iraq. How old do you think that took? I find doing laundry, somewhat soothing. The process. It's well here. You could do my laundry That's saying I don't want nothing. I want to do more laundry. I'm just saying, I I do find it. "You the people around you and the planet. So let's do this. This is my show the lead show. Hey there welcome everybody. How's it going? What's happening how you doing? How's life? Are you dedicated to what you're doing or you're just kind of cruising through? I get it certain times where we just kind of cruise through but I tell you what. I'm uncomfortable if I don't know what I'm doing and I don't know where I'm going and I certainly need to know why I'm doing it. And that is kind of what keeps me going. You know this is a wacky world right. So just have a ponder on that but that kind of warns me up to this Great Human John C Mcginley as my guest today so John has so much that he has done in his career as a TV movie actor but his dedication his commitment his reason for doing things is why what is here for is clear when anything comes out of his mouth and I have been friends with John for probably about a decade regular basis side from the quarantine craziness these one of my dear friends and love him. I'm just blown away by who he is as a human and what he's doing with the opportunities that have opened up for him. I mean any of you see platoon okay. We'll John's in that in. Have you seen the rock will Johnson that? Have you seen scrubs? Well he's in that too. Have you seen let me guess Wall Street point break highlander. His list of movies that I think he said close to a hundred movies and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of episodes of TV. But here's the thing I'm not sitting down with. Johnny did talk about his Hollywood stuff. 'cause Johnny's not that kind of Guy Johnny is a car heart wearing bad ass strong dominant Alpha whose heart and kind of morals are just straight up right there. You don't guess exactly where John's at any moment will tell you share with you. You will be authentic. That is maybe the antithesis of Hollywood but more importantly it's just in his DNA of being an artist expressing himself and probably his biggest role that he's played in his life that I humbly gather when I sit down and talk to him a little differently on the podcast which is why I love. Podcast you get to just sit and have this. You guys are the audience listening which creates this elevated consciousness. And you'll hear the importance of his son. Max McGinley coming into his life who Max Having Down Syndrome clearly was one of the greatest gifts. John's life John is a huge advocate of the glow of the Global Down Syndrome society. We'll put a link below and also Special Olympics these massive advocate. And my God if you ever seen or get a chance to see him with his son and his other daughters he's got two daughters. You will be blown away. He is present. He is there any takes his responsibility as a parent. Straight on part. Felt and serious. You know what I mean. Not not serious from a Not not the bad seriousness but straight up beautiful and intentional straight up in intended as a as being the best parent possible. And that's a beautiful thing so I'm excited for you guys to get to know my good friend. John C Mcginley and get a different sense. What a great human is and at the same time. He's had all this crazy success. And I want you to meet this beautiful blue collar heartfelt Alpha male. That is just one of my great friends so enjoy. This is John McGinley.

"There's some there's some blood sweat and tears into that car but that one would go first. You know. Even you know even that sixty nine that I have. It's like I don't have any plans to get rid of that car but it's like I don't have any We we haven't connected yet. It's just I have it in. It's there you know. But it's like the that connection has yet to occur. So when you get that seat time and you you you know you rack your knuckles a few times in the engine bay and you're dropping the big block in there and then then you start getting that connection he starts to say. This car will never leave. You know once you stay with your blood and exactly you know. I can't help but think about some of the listeners that are sitting there going. Hold on a second. How many cars does he have? They may be keeping track and they're going to wait a second. How many charters does this Guy House? So so Johnny I want you to get these people thinking. What is the cheapest charger that you have? What's the lowest amount of money spent on charger? And I think a lot of people have been listening to this show. I think they know but we'll refresh them with people's minds that would be the free one that would be the the blue seventy two two. I got for free that I didn't even want. I didn't go there to buy that car with their to buy a sixty eight charger. Well I D- no just real recap the story. You know Fastest possible play. The thing is I have these buddies. We played poker all the time for years and then out of the blue. It's like I've got chargers all alongside my house it out of the blue. You know one of my buddies is like I think my father-in-law has one of those in his yard. And I'm like a charger. Yeah what year. I don't know it. It looks like the generally I don't. I'm like okay I have to go look you how you can't. You cannot leave that stone unturned. You know so we go look and sure enough. It's a sixty eight three hundred bucks three hundred bucks for that car in the guys like you want another one. And I'm like yeah. He goes he points to the seventy two. And it's like I'm like you got another one. It's a seventy two and I'm like no I'm good. Well I'm like think then it clicked right like I just paid three hundred dollars for sixty eight. How how much could he possibly want for the seventy? Two Hundred Bucks. Well how much for the seventy two. Oh you could just have it. Just get it out of my yard. Yeah Okay Are you haven't folks there you have it free okay. Let's let's continue the streak of entertainment. What is the most money ever spent on a second generation charger? You don't have to answer that but if you would. I'm sure people would be a little curious. Yeah Well you know. It's probably the sixty nine just by most of the charges I've had I've had them for years and I've paid so little money for them So the charger that I just bought the sixty nine. Well it's a toss up because the sixty nine the seventy. I think paid the same. So it's like thirty five hundred bucks so people were people. Were sitting there going. Always probably spend thirty grand on what he had to. Al-sharif sharpen are these days. Yeah the roadrunners. The most expensive car I've ever bought. I take that back because I think I paid twenty four hundred bucks for the that sixty nine. I Pay Thirty. Five hundred for the seventy so the seventy. Rt's the most expensive car ever bought the next time. You run across a charger second-generation charger that's less than twenty grand. Johnny Lemme have that one. Okay okay you know you're standing in line. I get that a lot. Not Oh God I can't I are. Hey you gotta have your place in line somewhere. Christ I'll I'll take that gamble. I know there's people listening right now. They're like okay the next time. I see a twenty five thousand dollar rocks. I'm GonNa tell them how I heard this podcast. And there's this Guy Johnny on there and he gets them for three hundred bucks all day long so you just you just wade the market johnny. He's probably going to be the guy trying to buy something for my coffee. I'm sure Oh yeah. Yeah Hey Mike. If you're listening to this how can you justify your prices when Janis over here? Getting cars for free all right right. Oh that's money not just goes to show that you know if you're in the right place at the right time and you know you've had your cars for a long time a lot of them anyway but even in today's market. I mean you tell anybody that you gotta charger for less than five grand. That isn't rotting into the ground. And it's unbelievable. You know like I wouldn't be surprised if you're like no. I paid ten grand for that. I'd be like that's a good deal is sitting ones. I've been seeing. Yeah Yeah Yeah. It's probably worth that much. It's a I think my buddies just being you know being a buddy you could. You could argue. He gave me the car you know. I'm sure he wouldn't have sold it to anybody at that kind of at that price. But I'm not saying I don't blame you at all. That's one that I wouldn't even talk to my wife about. I just come home with it and be like hey. Do you want a divorce or what not take my charger and go see so out of all the cars you've had and the ones you currently have which. Mo- part is your favorite. I don't think I asked you that. One yet I like a specific car. Pick one and I'll make it easy for you. Mom and dad's car out of the question don't don't even we won't count though just yours specifically because that would it would be my high school car then okay for Shepherd. I sixty eight charger. Yeah we're cool all right. We've gotten through a lot of your history. Let's get into the car that we mentioned earlier you are the original owner for. I don't know anybody that's a car enthusiast especially Mo- part theseus that does not know about the TV show roadkill on motor trend with Freiburg Finnegan. They had a project car called. General mayhem now. People they assume that fiber just had this car. They don't know the origins of this car. But as it were you were the maybe not the first owner off the lot. But you're the previous owner before that car became general mayhem. So how did you? I don't think anybody's heard this story before. Freiberg over and before you. So where did you get the car? So my buddy that I just bought the sixty-nine charger from I got the car from him. He's a he's a you probably know this. You have Mo- par guys that it's a niche and then you have George guys. There's charger guides there in niche. So there's a few guys I've come across over the years. It's like they are. They'll own other MO- parts but they're hardcore charger guys. So my buddy John. He is a charger guy and he is just one of those guys that knows everybody. He's connected with everybody and at that point in time we'll call it. You know 'cause I sold. I traded the car in two thousand nine I probably got the car from my buddy two or three years prior to that and so he'd say you know I don't know how many years prior to that he got the car but you know I would say that you're probably looking at two thousand early two thousands or something like that maybe even earlier and the Buddy said he has. Everybody knows. He's a charger guy. So a lot of the cars he had tons of them he had a lot of them and if they had like to back in that time you know guys at least here in California like if a car had rust car you know. Fortunately I mean it's it's sad to say but it's true it was. They were shunned and so a lot of those cars got parts taken off them and then like whatever was leftover. Either give it to my buddy John or they sell it to John for a really low price or they knew he liked them so badly that he would 'cause he was a body guy buying paint guy he would do work for them on their cars and then get the charger as payment. You know and just how I met John. I had a sixty nine dodge dart a had it for maybe over a year or two. I paid three hundred bucks for the car. I got it through right now. It's only a three car man so okay okay. It was through a friend of a friend and And then I decided you know. The car sat in my backyard for a while and being the B body guy that I am it was you know. I didn't have the ring thing developed back then but if I did it was on the outermost ring and I just decided I'm not gonNa ever do anything with this car. Let her go and I put it up for sale for five hundred bucks and John Called. And so like yeah. I gave him my address. He came over to look at the car. This guy pulls up in seventy coronet station wagon with a four forty in it and I. I like my car's low. Just thing was like slammed to the ground on sale rims right and he had these funky center caps not dog dish. But it kind of had that look you know he rose up in this thing and it's two-tone it's petty blue and black and I'm like damn things bad ass you know. Yeah so bullshit with him. You know learned that he does paint body for a living he wanted the darts. I sold him the Dr and then I'm like. Oh you know I didn't. I didn't know what kind of work he did so I went out to his place and he took him to another buddy of his. That had some cars that he had painted and he showed me those cars. It's like Damn. He does good work okay. And then I still didn't quite trust them so I wasn't going to give him a charger. I wish I had but I wasn't going to give him a charger so I gave him my coronet to paint. You know which at that time. It was just a beater car that I was driving. All the time you know had a three teen in that first and I put a three eighty three in it and he did bitch and work on the thing and Yeah I mean if I had given them a charger that's what would be sitting in my shop painted and done and nice you know so regret. But that's how I met John and in the process of I would John. I think I heard you talk about a body paint guy and a guy living in his shop. You'll he did this these guys. They must all be the same or something. 'cause that's all. John Is John. The reclusive sort of total cool guy personable. You could talk to him but he he's quirky. He's a quirky guy. Yeah he would. He'd live in Van. You know next to his shop and go out and work on his cars of. That's that's how he was had.

Renault looks for new partners, third-quarter revenue falls

"From the Nasdaq market site overlooking New York City's Times Square this is fast money I'm Melissa leak are traders on the Tim Seymour Karen Finer than guys johnny we're also joined against night by Markelle presidents have strategic wealth partners the busiest day of the earning season is officially in the books and there are a ton of after movers these in tally at all on our radar tonight while the very latest from each on their quarters but we begin with these stock to walk from the after hours that would be Amazon the tech giant falling hard after forty earnings miss we've got fourteen covered standing by to break down the results fast hunting gene monsters getting ready to fire up the old red phone in Minneapolis we kick things off with Warren Amazon's big conflict in his life for us in San Francisco Josh so Melissa besides the bottom top I've seen investors going to concentrate on this Q. Four guidance it is light calm between eighty six point five billion this shoot was eighty seven point four billion obviously for investors that's critical right cue for holiday quarter I did just have a call with Amazon let's see if O'Brien immediate call there are some one time items he did mention what you're going to weigh on on Q. Four just for example he mentioned a consumption tax kicking in Japan went from eight to ten percent that created some pre buying in his words in September that will have a net negative impact in Q. Four but the central question for investors is going to be the bottom line guys that was well below with the street was looking for on that call field a lot of questions about that is it all one shipping and he made it clear they are investment mode they do believe that's where they need to be there's a lot of cost in the short run he clearly believes that's where Emma Zahn needs to be and he says there's the evidence that it's paying off very good increase he said and purchase behavior from prime members thereby more products more often but obviously weighing on the bottom line. Aws I talked about that too with Mr softy listen it came in growth rate thirty five percent that was a sequential tick down nine billion that's a lighter than what the it was looking for guys at Baird I know we're looking around nine point one billion I did question about those some growth rates he says bottom line they're happy with the progress it's on a thirty six billion dollar run rate up nine billion year over year aws's says leads the industry and features in products not worried he seemed to indicate about these fluctuations quarter quarter Melissa back to you all right josh thank you we'll check back in with you with any other developments here let's try Amazon urine obviously going into this quarter expenses were the primary concern as always Amazon operating expenses grew faster than sales growth which I think people anticipated obviously not as much because the stock is down significantly in the after hours but if you look at it it's not it's not disaster that I think people want to portray yes I mean the growth rate in aws slowdown sodas or yesterday it's still pretty significant thirty six percent growth rate revenue guide absolutely disappointing but now you have to ask yourself everybody's dying to get in this thing a few months ago one of the levels tell you well I'll tell you exactly what to tell you. The recently was about thirteen sixty five give or take we made a recent high of twenty thirty five hundred a month and a half two months ago the level that we're at basically right now in the after ours is a fifty percent retracement of that entire move those double tops we've talked about forever have held up but now you're looking to play offense and Amazon instead the defense in my opinion if you're selling here you're trading wrong if you're dying to get into the stock a month ago would you have been dying to get into it knowing that the holiday quarter would have fallen short short of forecasts. Here's I'll take a different spin on what guy says but my glasses have full to Amazon historically the implied volume this thing we'd had it down mm percent I actually think this is a victory I actually think they've they've begun to smooth out their business aws while not growing where it is is clearly along with Microsoft these guys are head and shoulders google a distant third in my view are taking cloud of which we're less than ten percent of enterprise conversion onto the cloud I think it's very good news for them yeah I know that Prime Shipping Q. Four costs are going to be double what we're in the second quarter and if you look at fulfillment costs overall that's really hurting the margin so Amazon which meant a lot of money three four eight years ago into their logistics AARP warehousing and suddenly one day gave them the ability to turn it up a notch is doing the same thing that doesn't concern me as shameful and I have to tell you I do think this is an environment where you wanna be looking for opportunities to add Amazon because there's nothing about what they've told me today that signals is a structural problem with the company. Yeah I agree with that I mean obviously spend spend spend right they can afford to do it so you

And when I see this the former American Taliban fighter Johnny Walker Lindh a name that many people will remember as being the pride of Marin county once upon a time who was captured just a few months after nine eleven. Captured at Mazaar Mazari Sharif the same place where our CIA. Officer Johnny Spann lost his life fighting. These these savage maniacs in the Taliban. This piece of garbage. Told a television news producer that he intends to continue to spread violent extremist Islamic upon his release. It's going to get out of prison in may. Officials say that he is holding on as a California native from Marin county is holding onto the same psychotic police that he had when he went in in two thousand two. Lind was among a group of Taliban fighters captured by US forces in November of one the beginning of the war in Afghanistan hours, later, five hundred people were killed after Lynn's fellow prisoners staged an uprising and killed the operations officer that was Johnny Spann that is that is forgotten. That is a name that is not remembered that as a name that is not celebrated and off to be and I remember him. And I always will because he was a good guy. He was a young man serving this nation in a horrible place, and he left behind a family those many years ago. Back in two thousand thirteen Lind won the right for communal prayer in the following year. He argued that he should be allowed to wear his pants above the ankle. Lindh went to the Middle East in one thousand nine hundred dropped out of high school at seventeen and went to Yemen to learn Arabic with the support of his parents. Nice job raising your kids their little mini Charlie Manson, high even looks a little bit like mini, Charlie. Manson. I look these things happen it happens. But I do get amuse of how just how much Stewart Kovacs executive producer internalizes and blames himself. Sue, not your fault. They read for gravy somewhere knocking down six beers. While he's about to go on the air fair enough. You look like you're about to pull your hair out. I'm good. I'm very good. I'm very happy. I'm good. I'm great. I don't know. Oh, I'm good. You're in there. What was the stress level? Like last three minutes. I think his answer right there to set it off. I'm fine. What's funny, Stu is? Also makes me worry about you is it when you're saying that you're pulling clumps of your hair out of your head with your hands. That's gotta hurt. It's a little bit. It's gotta feel really really unpleasant. I'll be curious to get Reed's perspective in the next couple of weeks whenever he comes up for air. Oh, you know what? Read four grave instant messaging me power. My phone just turned off its resetting right now. Should be honest. What what is this guy? Johnny manziel. I'm gonna write him loser. Then when he comes on the show, we're going to crush. Oh now, he's saying he's on great. This is great sports. Great upbringing. You. Here's a live. Here's a live. Look at the random guy that we put on the show always gonna try to trail users won't at some point. This is the guy I'm supposed to believe when he says, you're all about Kevin Durant. He's so great is the best. He was nice to meet a locker room once. So it's totally okay. That he goes after people under fake names. And of course, it'd be mayor. Kevin durant? Doesn't know how to use Twitter and read the fourth grade doesn't know how to use a cell phone. So there's a there's a connection there. Right. There's a there's a bond there. Both of those guys big timing well beyond their station in the game their respective games. I do like realize it really good dude on Twitter at read four grave and remarkably giving, you know, it's hard in two thousand nine hundred ninety s a cell phone those things that are new. It's like a. Like a PHD amazingly. He's somehow joins us. Hi, read this miracle of scientists happening. What's going on? Something to do with the weather here in Minnesota. My phone just randomly shut up. What was? Yeah. I was just watching. The weather I wished arena gov that on the old ghost Twitter accounts. Ila goes the weather got cold. Whoa. Cold weather makes your cell phone battery. Go down extremely quickly. So if I'm outside, and it's like negative ten degrees. My phone will die on like Krista shelves dying over the last two minutes because of you. So it's it's okay. Hey, are you were you gonna carry Irving? Are you gonna are you gonna I'm gonna go now is gonna be a pure aggression for grave, although I'm gonna pronounce annals properly. I think the problem like I will not smoke. There's fire like, obviously, all these guys talking about chemistry issues know from Marcus, smart, and Marcus Morris. Brad Stevens chemistry issues all year long back and forth between Jaylen Brown and Kyrie. I mean, I is the best player on the scene. Yeah. Maybe better player eventually. Tyree is the best right now. The final one game away and making the finals last year. Would know carrier. They I think five and two without him this year. There's enough smoke. I think there's fire and there's plenty of smoke around. Reverberate here on the show on Twitter read four grave read. I was so I wouldn't do it because I don't want your wife mad at me. But I was thinking about giving your mobile number just to see what would happen if we if we couldn't get on. Cool. No. It'd be terrible at three in the morning when my who and a half year old just finally fell asleep after screaming for an hour and a half my phone until you. You'd be an equally gifted phone users. You work five minutes ago, if you put that phone anywhere near your two and a half year old Keith could hear read can I can I share something about you with the people man, I don't know. I mean, like I say, no, what are you gonna do? Anyway. If you're on the show read, you know, bread semen, very, well you cover college basketball for a long time before you covered the NBA and you're actually in his office at Butler an hour. I think it was before Danny Ainge called and asked him to be the head coach of the Boston Celtics. So I feel like you have some insight on Brad Stevens. And a lot of other NBA guys don't because you were you've been around and before he was an MBA story. What do you think his ability as and we all strengths and weaknesses? What is Brad Stevens strength our weaknesses and trying to manage? What is clearly a disgruntled, and I would argue problematic. Kyrie irving. Back to Brad Stevens leader, how majors reputation is on getting absolute best out of players who maybe aren't the most talented players around. I mean, if you look at the NBA players Gordon Hayward. Back with one or two others. They were much more talented than we thought. You can. Horizon leaks to the national title game two years in a row was just amazing job of over achieving. And then if you work at the Celtics seems I mean that team with Isaiah Thomas doing heroic say that wasn't. Incredibly talented. They made even the past because of grad student getting people to play their role around the central guy. Like, brad. Really? The first time it's had frankly full upstairs, and I think it's hard to manage those big one. They're different. They're very different than the egos dealing with Boston tenure. I think it can be hard for during out. How how does she have the ball? And if you're Jalen Brown, Jason Tatum. You wanna just be playing a role or do you want to be going after that max contract or something? Am accident attract in Jalen, Bryan case? So to me, I think that's the problem is almost like difficult to find the hierarchy on the scene. I don't think Brad Stevens has been able to figure it, and I think highly Irving instead of being leaders helps us code solve your problems. He's from anti-smoking in been the type of leader. Who's made these problems worse? Read four grave here on the program. Read one through four one through five one through three however, many teams, do you think are worth an answer to this question rank for me when April fifteenth in the playoffs rolled around the best teams in the Eastern Conference. Okay. I think the raptors are the best team in the box. Are if someone wants AVI, the bucks are better than the raptors. I will argue that all within. I think there's a fairly large. Large drop off enthusi- noodles will drop off into. I would call it sort of here one which Celtics. And the sectors in two minds about this. The Celtics are probably the most powerful team in. If you're looking at depths of talent. We were talking about these chemistry. She's very real be going away anytime soon. The best starting in the east. The second best starting five in the entire. Yes. So thin. Joel Embiid is balti-. I just I worry a little bit about Jimmy Butler influence in what happens when things get rocky. I would probably. Emphasize, the Sixers the realization that Opie Sixers at the right hand could absolutely go to the finals, or maybe the warriors, you know. I wouldn't maybe taking the sixty s maybe maybe win a couple of games against them. So I would rank the Celtics third and the Sixers four, but I realize the Sixers have a really high field art before grave from the Eastern Conference and the cream of the crop there to the Western Conference team that may not make the postseason what from your vantage point is wrong with the Los Angeles Lakers. Are you talking about the Sacramento Kings Lincoln the Lakers? I haven't talked about some much at all recently issues. Right. Like, they got issues indefinite. Don't those issues start off Stephen fun office. And the fact that they just wrong players around. Lebron james. Core has been been up and down. Brandon ingram. It's been absolutely fallen out the past month or so long. Before he got hurt. I think it was hugest especially on defense Bonzo. Is probably the best. Josh. Which which boggles my mind that Luke Walton hasn't changed their faith in are doing that young core. Plus LeBron whether they get along don't don't do. I think that's not the problem. Lebron is certainly part of the problem. That's me. Much bigger problem was being like headland Stevenson. Gonna fit in just great again next to LeBron James Mckee. That's the guy that we need. You look at trade the trade deadline that was what they needed to do in the off season is five guys will roll players out of play around the LeBron James, I think Bullock's was he great addition. It might be too little too late 'cause they're far point. They're to go something like sixteen at six seventy five somewhere in that range to make the playoffs. Sixteen sixty all year long read four grave here on the show read. I mean, we all expect I think that the warriors are going to to not just make the NBA finals, but win the whole thing. But let's say just for the sake of argument, we did this on the show and on the CBS sports HQ show a couple of days ago. Maybe yesterday. Let's say the Durant goes to the Knicks, and let's curry ages a little quickly and the warriors go from being a sure thing just a really good team who are the teams. Whether there's one of them are nine of them that you think when the warriors take a step back to normality who are the teams that can compete for championships in a year or two or three. It's a great questions. We don't know there's going to be so much influx in this off season. It's hard like if.

"I thought it just looking at Google like. Because that's what's fun. That's a Taylor. Yeah. He's going the old clue route. Yes. Okay. And he was already keyed up because he'd had hot movie date with his old college girlfriend earlier that day been in the afternoon making out in the back row the movie theater during a showing a Corentin. Warn, not the best remake just watch. I think it's wreck wreck. Yeah. Wreck is actually one of my favorite horror movies. Don't need to us rank sweet. And Rick three is one of the more guns. Oh trilogy that like one of the gonzo third of a trilogy. I've seen a longtime. But it's pretty damn good. Cool. I also remember the time that I was I stopped my highschool girlfriend for making out with me during unbreakable because the movie was too important. Well, now you've got glass coming but on that night. Johnny showed up thirty minutes early. We've before twitchell was ready ready because you know, he had to be ready ready before he can really do what he wanted to do. Okay. This guy Johnny walked into the dark Araj and he called. Hello. An all twitchell could think to do say Hello back. Can you turned on the lights? I mean, he's he did. This improv movie. He obviously has improv training. Yes. Yes. So Mark he told Johnny the he was a filmmaker and that all this shit that he saw round him was just to set to grudge. Yeah. But it was still mad at till? It was he had all the walls covered in plastic because it was his Dexter kill room. Sure. Sure fucking chair there with handcuffs there. We're going to be going to tach to the chair. He'd fucking rope. He had an open set of weapons like old torture area set up for him to be able to play his macabre game. You mentioned of Ed gain pulled the same shit. They walked into the house and like knocked into the bodies. All this is a film said. Oh my goodness. By the way, the egging chapter in the book coming out. Well, when will the book via February twenty twenty looks like February February twenty twenty the Ed geene chapter is going to send chills down your spine. Because I always forget how much or he was creating. So when Johnny walked in and Mark twitchell introduced himself as a filmmaker twitchell by his own admission in Esca confessions. He couldn't help himself. He started bragging. This is what Mark twitchell wrote that he said to Johnny alter you might have heard of my stuff. I'm the guy who put together the comedy feature at our local film festival. That's me. They never joining fucking ahead heard of players. I will tell you talk about a true show business professional twitchell would have made it in Los Angeles..

"Lover show. I'll let you go first on that one. I'm gonna shove it. I think the Dwayne Haskins will be the first quarterback taken in the draft. I firmly believe Carla Murray will be a first round pick. I believe he's going to announce his intentions to be eligible. Yes. To do it by Monday. Does he does? So I believe that news is coming sooner rather than later, and again, people can say, what are you talking about? Because Baker Mayfield was great under six feet. He's about five seven and there's a huge difference between five eleven and five seven. I think there are legitimate concerns about that at the next level. But I think he's such a dynamic playmaker playmaker. And we know quarterbacks are always overdraft. Yeah. I'm gonna say shove it on the first quarterback. But I'm gonna say he's absolutely going to be a first round, and I know the running quarterback and then moving quarterback is way more acceptable now in the NFL and been worked in. I get it. I'm shoving this is. Well, I just don't see it happening. Remember for it to have any chance of happening. He not only has to obviously declare for the draft. But he's gonna have to put all his eggs in the football basket from combo. Mine too. Not not that I say you always need because you have a ton of film to look at. But, you know, the player personnel, and the coaches they wanna see a guy they're to want to measure the guy they're gonna wanna you know, poke and prod the guy so that's what's going to happen and member he's supposed to report for baseball in the mid February. You got combine pro days. What's he going to do once he declares? But Alan all Bob, I'm gonna shove this happens. It's love it or shove it ongoing. Go in case, you didn't know Trey wingo host the NFL draft. On ESPN and ABC it'll be Nashville this year. So they're ready for that. Well done. Two or more home teams will lose in the divisional round the NFL playoffs this weekend. Love charlotte. Wow. And I know what my dot com. Pick say. But remember a lot of those picks are because I'm trying to catch up. Yes. So I'm not necessarily doing what I want you to. I need to catch up. So the the person I do it in in union with you know, we're on the same page there. I think it'll be too. I think the colts. And I think the chargers I'm going to go with those too. So I'm going to say I will love that by saying at least two yes. Yeah. I'm gonna love it as well. I'll take the chargers, and I'm gonna take the Cowboys much to make bubble boy little happy over there. But I think I think too. Yeah. I wouldn't surprise me if the colts did it, so yeah, I think to do it and keep in mind, how odd this would be the last five Super Bowls have been nine number one seed and a two seat. So the the seeds have held form lately in the NFL. For the Vegas perspective divisional round games. We'll be talking to a guy Johnny the Greek an hour from now. That's okay. Johnny Johnny, Johnny, Johnny..

"What's going on sparkles? What's up, boys? The weekend. I am ready. I'm going to the game. I'm seven and all this year going the game. So I'm hoping the street continues. Yeah. The only one I miss is the patriots I'm excited, man. And I've been hearing you all week I've been laying brick all week long. Hearing you shout out me and fell in the bears barroom, and and the boom movement we've been trying to push because this is it Sunday. I need every person going everybody at home, including you, Jordan. I got. Oh, all right. Well, that's perfect. 'cause I need you to bring the boom. And even the people at home, I want the whole city of Chicago. I wanna hear it. I want to hear right now. Just like they. Led on by Matt Nagy and. Boom. Let's get a couple of booths for you right now for boom, boom, forbears you also want. So you want all you want me to say is boom. Yeah. Both your boom, boom. Aw. Would be proud your Boy George Mylan from over in England. Absolutely. Hey, man, have fun at the game. All right. Yeah. Let's go bear down bear down. What playoff wins? They shouldn't allow somebody a special guest to get into clubbed up. Like, maybe maybe it's g right there for the movement the Boone movement, maybe when they went on Sunday. Yeah. Maybe Tariq lets him in. That'd be cool. Just let one guy player. Maybe they'll have whoever's Dr guy Johnny Vincent singing, the national anthem. I let him in the club. Somebody's got to get a VIP in plus one just one time like Akeem needs to bring somebody along side of walking into celebrate. How about we next week if he'll let us go. There you go. Be pretty cool. One of us. Get a peek at what club dub is akiem Hicks. His great, dude. The way it's going to work out bears. Beat eagles. Cowboys beat Seahawks. Cowboys upset saints in New Orleans bears upset grams in LA bears Cowboys in Chicago. Now, I don't know. Giving you a scenario we can get back to club cap if you're. But they can beat the Rams albeit it'll be more challenging out there. And again one at a time. Nobody's putting the carpet for the horse. But there's a reason they go down in New Orleans and went to a great faith in the capabilities of this defense. All right. Let's grab Bill and wicker park. Hey, bill. What's going on kid? Hey, happy. Happy football Friday. Guys, you to this is my club up Jordan cornet cap. Danny Chris black. You guys are the best. I call I had called previously a few weeks ago to talk to Jordan who said he is not Bisky hater. But I just finished our one on the podcast and Nagy. I guess there's a babysitter and Trubisky is gonna fall into a classic. No, no, no. No, no. I think babysitter got taken misconstrued. What I meant is. There's definitely okay. Tell me this Bill or you're not gonna credit coach Nagy with handling him and better than any possible. Coach could this year in terms of getting them to the place. Would you not give credit to Nagy put them in positions to succeed? Oh, absolutely Nagy is going to win coach the year. He deserves a lot of credit. I guess I guess I wanna make a pizza that with your son. Let's let's what what does your. But you have to do on Sunday for you to say that you love to do a lot. And this is the thing that I just it's really confusing to me to the audience that people have a it's not celebrating this guy every week that you're a hater. I'm by no means a hater of Mitch Trubisky. Mitch. To do is go out there and manage the game. And if that insults you Bill or anybody out there? I'm really sorry for you guys. I don't know if you're related to him. You can be a fan, but you can still say a second year quarterback going into the playoffs in his first opportunity. It's worrisome. That's no heat on Mitch Trubisky. I I don't know what you guys here that as it comes out of my mouth sounds so wildly different. I am not hating on him by any meat fairly. Thanks, man. Appreciate the coach have a great weekend. You got to explain this to me because I know you beat the drum louder than anybody to have concerns need somebody. I hate is. I hate for certain things Mitch Trubisky one of so I I don't know where this gets lost. Yeah. I think early in the season you're more questionable about a guy who needed to grow and has shown some growth. I know you're more. What's the right way to I still get it from? It's still wrong. Now, I think you've still comes. And I'm confused by there's never a time where I hated the guy. Yeah. I think early in the year, you were way more of a doubter in him through and like anybody else who's kind of starting to grow on you. You've seen them develop. I'll say as there's more to come no question. But. I just don't understand from his. I think. I I rated all the quarterbacks we did it with Danny this morning just to twelve in the playoffs. But I of all the quarterbacks that I consider starters. I think I had him sixteen twelve in the playoffs. You literally put them in nine. I put him at ten right? So how are you? We're on the same bonus. My Twitter feed. I got these absolute guides that are just saying life preserver captaining the boat. Yeah. So if you guys a tweet me, I'm here to tell you guys are idiots like if you're saying that I'm a hater. You're a moron. You're not smart. There you go. All right. Three one two three three two three seven seven six got some other really good audio that Chris put together too. I wanna play a couple of things this is Nick foles the eagles quarterback yesterday. Asking Bill being asked about the bears defense and the challenge that they will present film seeing what they do. I mean, they're they're extremely talented. What I see where see from the front and their secondary from linebackers on. They do a great job with vision. On the reason they have a lot of turnovers, obviously the pressure. They can cause a friend was caused a little havoc quarterbacks holding on the volunteer. Their secondary understands concepts. They can tell when receivers Ryan different Ralph's. What else is coming behind it? So they're able to have vision on and cut it, and you're they have really good boss kills and that's something that you don't always see. So I've been very impressive. While I'm watching film of what they do. So the key is really going after executing being aware of you know, when they have vision what they're doing in alternately playing fast and not worrying about making mistakes. So that was on the bears defense. He was also asked about playing doer Di football because they could not afford another loss or they would not be in this game. This is falls on do-or-die football for a few weeks. A little bit more in the playoffs. No one game seasons. How it's been for the last several weeks. Just preparing I mean, we had to win to stay alive. And you know, it's like I've been talking about this focusing on the moment today. Most important thing is Wednesday. We have to do right now to prepare to recover onto do it all again tomorrow. So that's the thing. I learned is you know, it can. You can make as big as you want it or you can make it a small choose to make it smaller. So I can just hone in on what I gotta focus on today. So by game time, I know I did everything I could to prepare for that moment. And I can just go out there and play. There you go. So that was a couple of good cuts from Nick foles Doug Peterson the eagles head coach was asked about the eagles offense needed to know where a guy who wears fifty two is at all times it it makes it a challenge. He'll line up like you said on both sides of the formation. So we just have to know where he's at obviously. And he's a he's a tremendous player and. Especially on third down when he he can gear up and get after the quarterback, and he's very disruptive. And so yeah, it makes it a challenge, but you know, our backs and tight ends just have to know, you know, by by scheme or bye by protection caller formation. You know, where he is? And quite frankly, the entire front, and it's it's a good. It's a good. It's much-improved front than I would see what we've seen in the last year the year before so. It's a challenge for us. All right. So there's some stuff Doug Peterson. So let me ask you guys. This question. Jordan, Danny Chris if you were coaching the Philadelphia Eagles would you sell out at all costs to make sure Khalil Mack didn't wreck the game. Which means you know, obviously, an offensive lineman autumn chip with a back maybe have to use three guys to slow him down at times knowing akiem Hicks, Eddie Goldman, ROY Robertson, Harris Leonard Floyd, Danny trevathan, roquan Smith. How would you handle this? Or did you go? Hey, man. I can't afford to not have extra protection on the other guys. I'm going to go one on one against Khalil Mack. I got a good offensive line. Danny I'll start with you. How would you handle that? Listen, I've never been a defensive coordinator. So this is a tough question for me. Obviously Khalil Maximus important person on the bears defense probably the most important person on the field at any given time for the bears. I you sell out on Khalil Mack is a Hicks gonna kill. You is Eddie Goldman gonna kill ya is Eddie Jackson gonna kill you. I I don't I don't think with this bears defense you can afford to focus on just one man. I don't like what does lane Johnson. Like, I'm curious. If lean Johnson gets that matchup. I that's something. A your co- would be able to decide better light on there. I think look there's got to be extra attention paid towards Cleo. Mac is that always the case. I mean completely selling out. There's too many weapons on his defense. I think that's why. Leonard Florida's had the success. He has a key makes interior like these guys get after you in different places. I'm curious how your would try. Love to hear what he thinks about it. All right. We gotta take a quick time out. And then we're going to be joined by Carmen. And you're there at twin peaks in Warrenville, they've got field Yates your keys, which are always entertaining. Great Todd firm, and Sal pal? Karmeh's picks all of it. It's all coming up. So keep it right here on ESPN one thousand car landing on a roof to a car landing in a pool, we've covered, Dr farmers. We know what to because we've seen a thing or two. Ovum underrate. My farmers took fire insurance exchange center affiliates. Not available in every state. Dot com. So we have. Yeah. We have a basketball all four of aside. You can do whatever you want with it. I recommend not plan with it. You know, frame it because there's going to be worth the money someday. You. Let's get to the NBA doctor. Let's start off with John wall. News came out the day after we recorded last episodes. I, wow, that's pretty much down for the day and make young waved year. But that's not much. Searchers? You did say that didn't have. I'm glad I did. Yeah. Was bad investment. Throwback. Yeah. It could be a throwback, but that's gonna have to get cost. Fatty foods, though, Bank, New Jersey occupants back that teach. But you mean, they'll go with the Laker fake fair. Right. For the wizards though, they said his injury, so bad. But he was he couldn't walk on his he'll like he was walking on his tippy toes. And he was trying to do that. This seemed like the greatest says it's I'm glad he's taking a season to get one hundred percent healthy when John wall as a player, you know, that miss time here and there because of injuries nagging injuries. But this one seemed like why he needed to get fixed and more talk. Let's talk about what the wizards are going to do. Now, they were already nine games under five hundred which is extremely disappointed for who. They are or what they've been. But now with no John wall. What do y'all think they should do the rest of the season because they all remain the train to try to get better with Trevor reason. Other than his brother Bill come on show them. Like, I'm the guy Johnny just trying to keep and build around. And my team is the John what year he need to come out. And prove that he can carry a team because he has been better this really good this season. I think that I one point I thought maybe they might even sit him at this point. Because if they're not if they just plan on you just don't even throw them out because they're the chance he could get hurt too. And both of them league is doing that thing. Where like Sydney started. You can't do that rather been on him but allowed it. Now, you can't say you can't sit him. For me..
