Taysom Hill, not Jameis Winston, to start at QB for New Orleans Saints
"To talk about the big news in the NFL today, which is that Taysom Hill is starting Sunday for the New Orleans Saints. And if you're in ESPN fantasy owner, you can use him at tight end. That is the dumbest. Your league will not allow me to do that. Sleeper is worrying picked him up and I cannot do that is the dumbest thing ever. He's played tight end like he plays every he's a utility player, but he Yeah, I like that. I like that. What is he listed at? Nothing. He's a quarterback, but he lines up a receiver. He plays special teams. I think you should be listening Fantasy as utility because he's not good enough. Okay if he was like a star And you. Could you like a star quarterback? I mean, okay, but it's Taysom Hill. I think. Just have fun with it and let you should be all who is the Steelers. Um, he was a tight end of the running back Jalen Samuel Jalen Samuels that this happened a couple years ago. That is so I could use him and running back or tied down. That is so different that we use the title of your own Carry sweet all know, in fantasy that Quarterbacks get more points week to week. It's just the way the scoring format generally goes. It doesn't mean they're more valuable because the variance between you know the fifth best quarterback and fantasy in the 15th best quarterback. A lot of times is not that much, but in terms of how much they score. They average usually between 15 and 20 points per game, even for the middle to your guys, Whereas running back, you're hoping to get 15 20 out of your great out of the greats, so I get a taste of Hill starting at quarterback for a high powered offense. With easy match up against the Atlanta Falcons to have him at tight end, which has been a wasteland for fantasy this year where you have to why I pray, do it. Just tight end is useless anyway, of course, where you should do it. It's completely unfair to whoever has to go up against two quarterbacks, 100% agree, but it's not something that happens every week. And I think it's fun. I think I think ESPN should drop the tight end eligibility from Taysom Hill. If I could just dropped right out of the general, I would suggest the all commissioners out there that play on ESPN or maybe yeah. Who does it, too. Too, even though if he even if he has eligibility on the site outlawed in your league in the honor in the In the name of fairness do not allow anyone in your fantasy league to put Taysom Hella tight. If it was up to me, I was starting at quarterback was up to me and fairness. I would just be out lowing tight end in general, but yeah, that's that's a scheming hot take from you that Just let's get rid of him for years now trying to pitch to get rid of it. Because if you don't I mean, I have Travis Kelsey this year, But if you don't it's we talked with Travis Clay or not. I'm sorry. My clay yesterday about The position in general. That's why it's a wasteland. So to me, you get one week of it getting a quarterback there. I like it. I say ride with it. Okay, So anyway, is not on the fantasy part of this. Although there is a lot there to go on with Taysom Hill. There is the simple headline of they are not putting in James Winston. They're putting in Taysom Hill over Jamis Winston, and to me, there's maybe a lot there as well. They have not bought at all going back to this past offseason, right before the Saints paid Taysom Hill and I believe they put a second round tender on Taysom Hill, and they were like rumors about New England being interested in Hill, but they didn't want to pay that tender. That and then they paid him two years $21 million. And there's all of this talk about how the Saints and Sean Payton really believe that Taysom Hill is the heir apparent to Drew Brees and is their next franchise quarterback. And I think when, When that happened, every football fan rolled their eyes at that, like, okay, sure, the guy that you put in a full back or the guy that is the gunner on punch. He's going to be your franchise quarterback. He's already 30. By the way. It's not like he's this young developmental prospect that has a bunch of raw skills. He does have raw skills. But he's 30. How much better is going to get this point? And you had Teddy Bridgewater last season. You must not have thought of him enough to even have and be your number two quarterback. You give him a third round pick by the way for Teddy Bridgewater. You did that. And then this year, Jamis Winston hits the open market. You go out and sign him. Drew Brees last year gets hurt. Who goes in Teddy Bridgewater? Not Taysom Hill this year, Drew Brees gets hurt. Who goes in Jamis? Winston? Not Taysom Hill. So up to this day, nothing about the Saints actions have told me that they truly believe Taysom Hill is going to one day be their starting quarterback. Their words have said it but their actions have not. But today we finally have a change there that they're not going with. Jamis Winston. They're going with Taysom Hill. Here's why To

Extreme Ownership - Jocko Willink
"I also get this question of you. Know Hey Jaakko. I understand the idea of extreme ownership and I get it and everything, but you know what do I do. What do I do something goes wrong, and it's and it's actually not my fault. What do I do that? And I said wait a second. You're saying you're in charge of a project. Yeah, and some someone on the project makes a mistake. Yeah, and you don't think that's your fault. No, no, no, because I wasn't there when it happened or it was a guy. That's five layers below me in the clan, obviously not my fault. then. These people are obviously missing the entire idea of extreme ownership, because if if I'm the platoon commander and five levels of rank below me in the chain of command, one of the machine gunners shoots his machine gun in the wrong direction. That is absolutely my fault. As a platoon commander, one hundred percent. Why because it means I didn't train that guy properly. It means I didn't screen him properly. It means I didn't educate him on the importance of his field of fire so that he knew that he was shooting in the right direction, it means I didn't talk with his fire team leader and his squad leader, and make sure that he had the instructions that he needed. All those things are my fault. They're not just lip service. They are truly my fault. And what this means is look. If I say hey, machine, her made a mistake, not my problem. Okay well. Who Fixes the problem then? Who Fixes the problem. The machine to machine wanted to make a mistake. He doesn't know what to do so if the machine makes mistakes, that's his fault. What changes no, when I take ownership of it, I say okay, but here's what's going on. Here's what you need to think about before you shoot your weapon. Here's what you need to know about your field of fire. Hey, fire team leader. Here's what you need a brief. Your guys on squad leader. Here's what you need to make sure the team understands and now everyone is taking ownership of that problem, and that's when the problems get solved. Man I feel like this small business owner parallels. There are huge and a lot of times we see it. Come up like we'll get on a coaching call with someone, and they will complain for forty five minutes about this team member, and then the way you sat down all that complaining. Is You just say we'll remind me again? Who hired that person who let that person in the door and it's like so you have a hiring process. Process problem or a training problem but your problem who selected that person who hired that person who trained that person who's keeping that person on board? That's right answering me that Oh. Yeah, that's right. It's you

"Hello Everyone for Red Gounod's faithfulness and give my thoughts for the on the US. Now we go down this. I won't say excellent. Excellent game three points like he gets like Jinja right now on twenty twenty and lacks Bo. What are actually what was my reaction. Was My thoughts concerning game. First of all like a few the character the mentality has improved especially after 'em Rusada because come to think of it after considering in the first fifty seconds the way we were able to get back on track is something that is something that excites football of something that excites US fans. And that's not once again our Shane. The attack is actually making good. Cosies management skews because immediately after considered that go wherever to come back like she gets to combat put ourselves together so first all. Let's look defense a defendant. We have been defended as it's quite alright. But one thing that we have NASA that does literally to Eros. We HAVE TO GET PAST. We have to get past to listen and understand the fact that we played a robot league games and stuff like back but those areas combusted. Looking at left back up after when Colosio notch wins. You also what suckered Saka could do once again and once again become over. We come over emphasize the importance of Zakhar dropping into left Baku. Sean Everytime Sakarov for a few soccer how so much potential unwanted again he got out today which was which which days social social vital in this Aznar's send about Mustafa has been immense. No doubt and I'm looking on with staffy. He's distributional also improved few. He's the idea we begin has no has really really improve. W Lewis after the first air. After mistake of the first school you'll be able to redeem himself with an sees quite exciting. You could see the hasn't day I'm more confident on the ball. Exactly know what to do. They get asked that I bring more practical. I think I think basically the already have an idea of what to expect and also look at the wrong from Birmingham for. That's for that for that. It was judy. Noise was timely. Don't feel that we need more of that more of that more of that from the Aznar side. Yes okay. I have like a big issue with Barend today. No offense I know us now. We have to ask witness because sales now at under the attention when when committee now step Lena's Roebuck. Because he was doing that cow Kost I of dropping the centrum feud but he was able to give me the dots he wasn't. Overlapping Extend that. The right-wing was left or mocked. But when it comes to bury he he moves forward. Nazis crates in the rain is defend. He doesn't go on defense as a rights. Appreciative goes to the middle of the defense. You get my point. I feel that there's something there's something I don't know reading is probably but if arc that to them staff to cover him over and over again in the right back position mix a be claimed that he come to better but Aaron can obviously to pretend that he's not a balloon of were off probably after injury by few very can do so much better. He has to read the game properly. And I think this being a big case for for for another plea absolutely stepping up in the resolution looking at him if it was again resources actually entertainers who do the one or two times. A healthy ball by Saleh's CREIGHTON. Dust Peace in the middle. Mix All zoo more fluent on d. right-wing because today I saw the rights. We disappointing left-wing which makes it exciting now so bullets can actually create this piece. I feel about LAS walk in. Food is actually directed because civilised hustle have a pirate of give. Because we're ever wherever like whatever happens at the middle of the game really sticks a big claim in Oslo's Movement. Sally from the transition from the field to the attack as has been exciting. The the last two three gives you watch the bullets. He has really been exciting. You're looking at Zakhar. Does crossfield passes once again has been on points redeem and Zaka being able to command me. She even do sometimes has to. Providing inclusion is something that can never be over overemphasize Saakai doing so-so so in that aspect. Now look at something from the left wing from the last two one s. Not Place from the left. It's easier to get the ball to pick on your rights. Now let us not run as not push through derives per dose so much. We did an end of the day. There's no much and I don't know if I'm dealing with a CD but when from succumbing and boys brought me do you rights with regard star. There's more intentional. Because plenty from the less we left. We have like three or four. Been around the box area points. Well physically I don't know if he's a strategy or if it's like and I have input into by day's walking like US laws next week left wing is where is the is. The goal is an as walking. Muslims complained that has been playing on the wings on. We prefer him on the on the on the nine and stuff like that. But you know 'cause you look at 'em you look. Assets had been have wanted to play bound on the rings and he's Bul Kasey like the end product. Starting from his first go through the way he moved up from the means and again my point exactly gets in that boat to keep from left to the rights and could be drafted into the box. So basically I feel that gene. So so much. Steve really an incredible amount. Do I believe that we walk on Skull? Love this players. I'm blessed how to reduce getting injured and we have we have a row. Polly games coming. You turned down more excited. Exciting stuff and good Games. Drori Gates look like saying look like in five points to get the wanting me we go notice. I want to show now. We don't they see the change. The mentality of the players don't already sick. It's we need to be deserves Whitney. We want to danger because when as now go down that six minutes and my chest Sunday she what you could see the character you could see. The intensity on every play down was even played out of was issue. Putin extraordinary I duNno. I started to be corrected for us now. Plays better team became in dumpty. Nevermind I stand corrected. Goody played for the add more into and the two shows entire to give us to be more direct as the season goes on actually has give it lot. Add Muench Kudos to Michaela data. Because at the end of the first national he was trying to make it should of I was scared. That is much nettie goes exactly goes from up in that. I think is is quite easy. That understaffing poodle pool only suck on a second half in new survivor from what we have less villainous with our sales over from stopping us now nick. I'm not I'm one I don't I don't think issues too. Often wanted to do on his most. Suppose the debate taking over from stuff because defrocked by has that's mistake in he'd like like the the show that is good born blind to the committee mix tricky for him to be defender. Absolutely at Asmara. Renew that our defense in nude very good for him. So I feel that as has done we stick. Our won't confirm sticky need colored kiprop. This thing he did was one even against the half last. You can't has one last still won't stick. I think it's time it's time for us to more defensible. Zaka accent concern stuffing is not to nine and I start. I stopped recording today ended is I'm okay please. I used to go go now. He's doing He's made he's he's hopefully he's not dreaming. He's not getting the room. I say that you will not know trashing him. He's not bad trashing. Just being just being we need someone. Stop Start. Was You the first few matches of this. I'm sure that individuals who doesn't quote was not even a short-term solution for us now get a cleanly in young useful creating it. We can't get a clearer now. Pippi edits brash. Ppo to save my actual pick to lake can't do he can't take on more direct because what we need now is go into finishing gives people come to without the need for not even just about depressed now honestly feel we were going to two million million. Maybe he deserves started on Sokha. Come not be he come even say how impressed lift his game for the image all wrong or on the mentality of planned. I'm not that that is one that would and I feel this. Emily support on after Assad's Kamath now. There is above the new permit Luna for our own. Expect I appreciate. Don't bring the new. Not because you call what Ashley. Cole was the intensity in place in the US to claim to be an we could sit in different. Atomic Waste in the Pacific Ocean
"Today nuclear waste in Marine Sanctuary in nineteen eighteen. Forty six ninety military class vessels were gathered around the tiny Pacific Toll Bikini for operation crossroads tests of the atomic bomb one. All these ships was the aircraft carrier. US Independence of the few vessels to survive the blast independence was towed the nearly five thousand miles miles from Bikini to the hunters point naval shipyard outside of San Francisco for five years from nineteen forty six to nineteen fifty one. The independence was the heart of the Naval Radiological Defence Laboratory. US military's largest facility for applied nuclear research. After the war. The ship yard was is used to investigate methods of decontaminating ships including the independence. The survived operation crossroads but they were also testing for effects is on animals. That evidence is surface that they may have experimented on prisoners from nearby penitentiary. All the ships independence remained at the shipyard longest finally in nineteen fifty one when it was on the verge of sinking it was towed out scuttled. It's finally wrestled in place in three thousand feet of water and her gunners made John classmen. John spent his post on lesson. Jeers one thousand nine hundred fifty five to nineteen fifty-nine stationed on the USS Tug Topeka shipped out of San Francisco Naval Shipyard at hunters point. Part of his regular job was to tow a barge carried radioactive waste under the Golden Gate Bridge Bridge and out into the Gulf of the Pharaoh on their the bottom of the barge would open to release containers barrels of radioactive waste into the sea. The routine was always the same barrels were collected on the barge until it was full and then it was towed out to the Gulf of the fairlawn where they were dropped into the sea on several occasions glassman recalls a member of the Atomic Energy Commission came on board the ship and told him that the measurements showed the radiation levels. Were too hi. This ship should be cleaned up before the next load but there was another part of glassman's job. He was to shoot holes in the barrels of didn't immediately sync. He says he did his job shooting. Ten to twenty barrels once or twice a week this would lead one to believe that many of the Navy's radioactive waste containers -tainer or barrels were breached before they ever reached the bottom of the sea and became part of what is known as the Farallon Island nuclear waste site glassman notes the carcasses of dead animals mainly dogs and castes constitute much of the cargo barge is tug regularly towed and those animals had been used in experiments Aramis with the naval radiological defence lab. He said there were other kinds of waste in the barrel. Also that from security surrounding certain barrels visitors from from various correctional facilities. Interview with Taylor Stevenson
"We're really happy to have all the way from Texas Taylor Stevenson joining us. Who actually flies with the with the Torah Act? So thank you for coming up in being with us today. Yeah absolutely the scared look is also what I have in the cockpit as well same holds true for all for all of US above average pilots. which is everybody coming in to landing? Cleef so Taylor before we sort of dive into what you do these days With Torah and all that all that cool stuff I I always love to go back to go back to the beginning and and find out how what was it about aviation how did you. How did you get involved? Do you remember the first thing you loved aviation where your model. I don't actually remember the first thing about aviation because it's just always been in the family So I was blessed to have grown up with my Dad Gordon Stevenson who I guess when I was born he used to scuba dive and ski and all that stuff and he's like yeah. I can't really do that with a little kid. What can I do? And so He'd always wanted to fly. My grandfather father was a flight engineer on B. Twenty four's in the Pacific with a three eightieth bomb group and so he had always grown up with my grandfather and my great uncle was a tail. Gunner and B twenty. Five's is always telling stories of aviation and so. He always wanted to do that. Well I guess I kind of kickstarted it So he was in nineteen thousand nine he was at the Addison. Texas airshow. You and there were two pieces For Sale so dad went up and you know what looks cooler not six sitting out there and it was kind of a fresh paint job Boban and he walks up and Calls one of his good friends at the time is basically my uncle Ray Kinney who had his pilot's license and said Hey ray let's by six and Ray is kind of what I was saying. Okay whatever whatever you call me when you need the money you know didn't never thought it was happened. We'll dad I bought the t six call ray up in two weeks later. Dad's signed up for flying lessons. So he kind of jumped headfirst into the thing Getting a pilot maker so So I did grow up just grew up in the backseat of T. Six six years old. I remember Freedom Flight Ninety five where we took one hundred and twenty aircraft from Long Beach California new to New York City I think we did six or seven and airshows along the way and so there's no greater childhood and ask for greater childhood than get into go and and and an experienced that and the neat thing is I'm excited to share it with my kids but it's it's got a a bittersweet day because I'm going to be one of the last generation that actually got to interact with the people that flew these in combat that built them Back in Korea World War Two and before so I'm I'm really blessed to have been able to grow up with aviation that's excellent so tell us a little bit about what your flight training. When did you start learning to fly? You've been around you. He's six which is fantastic. I'd like to fly by a t six. I broke it down both Cadillac that but really dad always joked that I was I could fly. IOF are when I was probably eight years old because I couldn't see over the canopy rail and he'd say oh I need to change maps. Hold the instrument. I'd sit there and look at you know artificial horizon and just kind of keep it going. We've got that exact same joke in my family. That was really. Yeah so so ray. Kenny also had a nineteen forty-six Piper j three cub with a sixty five horse engine in no electrical. Oh system about as good as it gets. And so when I was fifteen. He started doing kind of the formal Flight Training with me and a good family friend. Aubrey hair. Who flew flew? Basically everything that a stable for Cavanaugh flight museum and Blue Ticks and stuff. I was Aubrey's last student. We like to. He's he he kind of wears. He says he wears a badge of honor. I think I scared him so bad. He didn't want to know but now it was When I was fifteen Fly Piper cub out of our country. North Dallas and on my sixteenth birthday Solo. The cub then drove from the airport after getting student licensed to the DMV. To get my driver. So I always like to say I I could legally fly before I could drive So the cub was awesome to build. Time in there's nothing neater than going cross country driest eighteen wheelers or passing. ESPN everywhere you stop to fill up hand proper chocolate and and go so But after that we I'd always knew just grown up. WanNa get into warbirds and you can't just go you could but you know there's GonNa be a logical step between a cub and the t six and then beyond and so. I've always loved the Stinson. L Five and to me the l four was gonna you know there's some grasshopper aficionados. I was out there prior to say but the L. A. Piper cub with more glassy was is an existing design that was translated into military service. Same thing with the L.. Three same thing with the L.. To the twelve or or champ and the L. One and the l five were designed from from the ground up as a military machine. It was a ward Set up sixty five horse. We've got a hundred and ninety horsepower. Got flapping flaps drooping ailerons. It was cool so I remember being twelve years old and Eleven or twelve in. Sam Taber who's always up here at Oshkosh with his L.. Five walked right up to him about the best guy I on the planet walked. Start talking and sometimes you get some people aviation that When somebody young walks up up to him you know they don't necessarily discount him but it's kind of like okay? He's asking some questions. I would just boom in. Sam is one of those great individuals that He latched on told told me all the information ever wanted to know about the l five and just encourage he and Jim Gray Dunkin Cameron some of these others. That were in that group just really took me under their wing and so eventually found found project and began restoration. That was my my first foray into warbirds myself. All that's very cool. Yeah Sam's a good friend to a bunch bunch of the well to to the organization General He's our boss Jim. Bush publications is one of his best buddies. And Jim has an l five live. Oh that's very cool and Taylor you. I mean you're L five. Restoration is is gorgeous. I mean thank you. That was one of the first ones I know says that all the gas. Yes I do But no seriously you're aircraft is impressive. Yeah I appreciate it. It was we're lucky enough to find a really solid project from Duncan Cameron out. He was in Tennessee at that point. And so I went out there and And took a look at it and you know dad and and I we. I grew up working on cars and airplanes. A little bit with dad and Really we had been looking for an L. Five That was kind of plug and play a but it's kind of like anything for a parent. I don't have kids but I'm sure one day I'll realize it was like none of them. Were kind of up to his standards. One of the most safe. You know you WANNA make sure it was gone through and all that stuff and we finally determined and we started out with saying. We're not GONNA have project. Well that seemed to be the the only way we were going to get a product that we that we really liked at at that market at that point So I went over. I heard about this Guy Just kind of in between Dallas Fort Worth Name Lonnie Parcel Funny Awesome Guy One of my best friends so I flew the cup over there and he is restored shoot. Probably fifteen l five's over the year And started talking with him. And we ended up I said hey you know if I get this you know the two of us going to start working on it and You know basically be my mentor and in and and teach me how to do this and and so when I got the five and from that point I think it was about sixteen months. We had flying airplane so is it was It was pretty much. My twos two summers during high school. So seventeen eighteen nineteen and those two summers. That was my job. Drove drove forty minutes each way drive out to propwash. Were Little Airport flying community and worked with him and it was the most amazing and it was the best experience. It's because you know whether it's a l. five or cub or TC want or pilots. Or whatever the principles you learn rebuilding a cub They get more complicated. But you know carburetors carburetor internal combustion engine to all internal combustion engine so it was a great learning experience experience in being able to I guess quickly trouble. Shoot whatever something was going on because you've seen it you put it together so it was just an amazing experience. Yeah we come up in his Oshkosh two thousand nine and We're honored to receive the best Elbert so it was great

"Go implants how tall too tall what stand too long why is my where my screwed is loosening than inclusion Dylan's that connection deal and you know what should be really simple stuff like how can win this crown comes back from the lab I can't get it to to screw down now there's there's five different things so my my I will be more along those lines you know how do how do you avoid the issues another thing that we really kind of gone all in on our our own lab is the guided surgery try to make things more predictable so you know d curtain with the lab you see where like benign a small mistake snowball if you don't get you know the the right record and you get a guy that looks beautiful she's a beautiful or I don't usually talk this morning it'll be let me get this guy act it looks beautiful but you find out that Oh when they mesh the c t to the your S. t. l. at your digital model or to the stone model that they didn't things aren't lined up right you can be you trust the guy in place your implant ended up outside of bone where you don't WanNa be yeah so yeah it'll be you know a lot of that how do you what are the complications what do you do once you're in trouble but also how do you prevent all of that and then you know the things being ferried honor can really speak to stop tissue management which I think is an usually underrated part of implant everybody wants to know hey how do I get the union the bone but they don't think about and you know as when I started I John all those fancy features it's not a big deal you know and then you you dig into it and realize that if you want any sort of long term interest what you do have to pay attention to the care nice tissue making sure that you've got good attachment you have a good maintenance McCall going forward you know don't get the parenting plan titus or you know you address it early all those kinds of things for sure awesome that's going to be great so where's that located at six hundred seventy eight December and where's it GonNa be yeah yeah take your brand new Scottsdale at you essentially pretty awesome Scottsdale Arizona and yeah you know and Kudos to you and and what you've built by the way are you working with your team esn she's been been offline you preach system vacation they're also organizing great and then north even getting on this podcast you know they send me Ah Ah counseling invite it's scheduled exactly when you're going to do your podcast so that to me is is a huge Kudos to you and practicing what you preach thanks man even though I was six minutes late for our interview I appreciate it I usually pride myself as being right on time for my interviews yeah I was in the middle of another interview and that one just wanted just a little bit long so but yeah yeah for sure but you have the framework in place so that you keep yeah keeps ya running I that's gotta be the only way that you can do what you do you know you've accomplished incredible thanks man appreciate that Clark so I'm super excited for you meant so December sixth and seventh it's Dr Scott Fromm who's a world renowned period honest and of course Dr Clark Brent attend I think that I want to go down there not just because of the implant stuff but I just WanNa be around you and talk at further length about the way that your dsom pictured and the way that kind of the every day challenges that you face because you know I face a lot of the same challenges as do a lot of our listeners that have multiple practices so I think that'll be great just to rub elbows with somebody that's kind of doing it that's in the trenches doing it right now it's going to be fun yeah I mean so excited have you that sounds awesome and it makes me laugh for you say the problems right because you're talking must be awesome having all the offices uh-huh you only do the other side of my Gosh Dude as you know all too yeah their day you know whenever we feel like we're getting on top the day of my regional manager called me okay we have seven people out sick today in the last hour trying to figure out how we're going to shuffle everything it is a constant shuffle isn't it and that's funny that you mentioned that because right when you feel like oh my gosh finally we've button us up we've replaced all these people will then all of a sudden another key person gives their notice or somebody's sick or somebody gets pregnant and it's just it's constant it's constantly a shuffle of personnel. well I think there's different things that that people claim are the biggest struggles of having multiple practices but I think it's the show the shuffle of the personnel that's the toughest and people try to simplify it by saying if you have a great culture you'll have no turnover it's just not true is just not true now it's not mm-hmm you could be the best and have the best working environment and have the best culture and pay the most in a in a in an area and still have unfortunate turnover unplanned turnover which is frustrating. Yeah Yeah it is you know you said a lot of us just just life you know we will have awesome receptionist and I'll always come in and I need to talk to you you're pregnant aren't you I'm so excited for you and your family you guys are long distance relationship you're leaving yeah right but in reality you know what it is it's just like I tell them that it's no hard feelings if things change and you're looking for a job again you're a great employee look it's up to you can't take it personally the agree so Clark what's the name of your course I'm going to I'm going to direct people there via the DSM website but what's the name of it yeah yeah that's a great question where we're planning on doing a whole series of at you so you know I've been on ESPN is often do because it's really like what do people want and the the one let's get peppered constantly on there with you know the one complication that's why we're doing that but the next one is a full arch I just the the stuff that that that all the the heartache that we've been through trying to help people avoid that I think I think you should dumb it down to like the ABC's in the beginning of that full arch restoration because more and more of us are learning how to place you know and placing getting more and more predictable for us but it's the actual restoration and a lot of us are prosthetics yeah us or handicap because we never had formal instruction so that we've so we've kind of I guess abdicated a lot of the responsibility to the lab and we that that just leave right not knowing about the the rest of the great a great word for that yeah and and and that's exactly you know what the focus of it would be you know again looking inward personally where of all my heritary now moment spent than when I didn't adequately plan before we started prophetically as sloppy about a by or something eighty or something and we just didn't get the right reduction and then you know all your on the tail end you you have a nice provisional will how do I go from this provision you a nice that they're calling you or whatever my final is going to be and you know now with the lab and having a consistent workflow and great people around me to make that happen you know I finally feel like it's to the point where I could you know sit down with your people and say hey you know like you said do it order ABC because I people make stuff complicated when they don't understand it my number one goal with everything in life and try to simplify it as much as you can and the efficiency of it which is why I've always you know all your podcast too because you don't need thirty bursts to prep near you just don't you can pick five then you know get a a great clinical result in less time with less expensive you know let's confusion this kind of the the goal for these these courses two day course where we repack a lot lot into it but not trying okay we're doing an intro course and then a different course on gasping now again Scott he's probably done worse sinus lifts than I don't know who he is more than qualified to to speak to the soft tissue and hard tissue grafting you're all right guy so if you go to Donald Success Network Dot Com and click on live events and then look for the dental implant complications of course December sixth and seventh in Scottsdale Facility at the Dental Success Network Scottsdale Teaching facility would love to see you guys down there down there myself and I can't wait to meet you in person Dr Clark Yeah likewise there's going to be awesome I'm super excited about the course and then I think we're GonNA talk to John You're backing Guy Nick we're GONNA try to offer a discount to a limited number of of the listeners Oh cool to get it get it going so so long let me know what that is and then I can put it in the in the in the show notes that sound good sounds great all right so if you're a member you're going to get a great discount but if you're done alpern listener and you're not a DSM member will see if we can get you a discount as well we won't this thing we want this thing to be well attended so well Dr Clark I can't thank you enough for sharing all of your expertise and your journey I'm super as I said in the in the interim super impressed by what you've been able to do and just a short the time both clinically and from a business standpoint and from a evolving into a continuing education provider are you've you've managed to accomplish a lot so congratulations thank you you know right right back at you I impart would be remiss if I didn't think you or you know get into where we've been you know stand on shoulders of giants and I really feel like that's true Albuquerque New Mexico people by getting on the podcast and just having the courage because I think in dental school they did beat it into you that you can't make money and it'd be color something some weird dogma right it's doing too well you must be doing something unethical or illegal or or something that dentistry is supposed to be hard and difficult than supposed to take twenty to Makassar if you don't take twenty steps up corners exactly so so thank you so much I know inspiring people so thanks thanks man that means so much especially you know I was reflecting with my one of my business managers the other day about listening for a number of years these are people that I respect so much last a two weeks ago I was sitting on a panel of judges at a debate as dove versus midwestern here in Arizona and I was sitting on a panel with the dean of Midwestern School of dentistry the dean of and I'm like how how in the world do I get to sit next to these people that are so accomplished you know these these people that are dear into academia it's just it's just a it's what it is we live in an age where people vote real time would add value and you know people spokane this episode is being brought to you by our friends over there at compassionate finance payments.

"Difficult enough and what I like about this service is that I receive a daily synopsis of performance metrics for each practice in a nice easy to read reports and another interesting thing so do s how how big is the lab and what kind of cases are you guys doing like everything built in almost like an analog guide so use that for the surgery I'm pick those up and then when we go to we have a on relying people will go out to be offers and with the WAX training insured Alex Kid that looks good makes you by dialing and then we scan it you know three d. scan it and awesome awesome so is are you able to keep your lab costs down in comparison to using an outsource lab or is it more for convenience yeah you know for seal unit kind of bridge I don't think it makes sense because you you know deal through the or else where they can find Southern California knowing fetters I'm you know you can get a pretty good product at a reasonable cost where I don't think you can really do much cheaper and how but when it comes to the implant services because it is a little bit more Nisshin specialty at least around here they're charging you know on the lowest thirty five hundred dollars just for the final dam up to five yet oh yeah those kind of numbers I mean puck is they're coming yeah with the DSO discount we can get for around one hundred bucks so you start on the math and it does that and that's that was the whole business model here to make sure the Lao could be profitable is by staying in the lane I think we're so diversified trying to do PFM and all this other stuff I should be profitable right yeah awesome okay so tell me about your marketing group there you have a full-time group marketing all ten of your practices and that's that's just internal same question is about as the lab are you dear offer your services to anybody outside of your group Yes similar answers the lab we created what we actually did when we came up here there was a small marketing drew three people paper Napkin Marketing and we met with them and looked at them doing stuff for us and then and decided hey you know by the time we pay for three offices we could pay everybody salary and the the owner of actually he you know hated business just said Hey why don't you guys all come on salary will pay your salary for opposite so that was the arrangement and you know the Cincinnati the original guys left but we have cue mazing Bulla Elliott heads everything up he's heavy into digital marketing I'm so he doesn't make things tough for for the does you know like drip campaign where you roulin words they click through the landing page try to pick up their email with that do not offer in our case usually it's the implant implant pricing guy information so we've we've had a really good luck with that are they just you know constantly getting every two weeks or so automation a little informational email and an offer to schedule yeah totally funnel yeah right and we we've done mailers and other traditional stuff and we've found just in the last two years the efficacy of now ours is drastically decreased and this you know the Internet stuff is where we're putting more of our had spent just because it's so effective so we you know same thing we have plan he's he's built in the last two years built out a lot of these great funnel system so at some point we'll we'll probably star are you know offering that to to outside offices everything we do though we we want to be our own test dummies you don't WanNa have it's something that's eighty percent there and you know deploy it and get a bad name or created headaches sure yeah what's the overall vision for the group then do you guys want to continue to grow are you happy with ten do you want to build each practices to a larger guy right yeah we're so we're in that phase right now I mean the goal and division always from day one you'll before we formed the group we all got together and locked herself in room for two days but the goal being but figure out exactly what we want for herself in our family and then you know not compromise we see right shiny objects so that the goal was number core values and win win everything we do as partners amongst ourselves with our patients with our employees partners we bring in it needs to be synergistic so they win we win so that's that's our really our core value But from there yeah the goal is just to bring in partners that we we really like be selective bringing people in not know yes everybody wants to be money but not as our our Corbeil Corbeil trading group that we would do monthly doctor meetings and people that were excited to see every month now someone that uh-huh having it in the room so that's been the cartoon and yeah just creating that so we have good geographical footprint around Portland now list with the offices and at this point our goal is just you know most of them are single doc offices at this point we have a couple that have have to but just growing the each each off to a two or three duck location is probably a next step so much we know we're always open to a good deal it's something pop up but in general I think we're the next couple of years we're just GONNA hold or wherever that and try to really optimize Kinda like your program get overhead down production up and that's where we really see the things that being profitable is when you get that second office overhead already paid on all the fixed costs yeah I didn't profitability for sure Hersher so do you guys have a C. Suite do you have a coo cfo Oh you do have marketing team so what do you as far as an executive team we had a work in progress we've got a from the management and we've got a great Central Management Office manager incredible innings number and she handled everything they're just amazing degree we have like I said our key person in the lab is Kim she keeps that running smoothly on have Garrett who is our partner business guy so he he runs probably they I guess what you call the CEO Portion Ryan you know one of our founding dentist he only works today's clean the rest of the time you completely focused on on the business anything so he's I guess pseudo CEO is well or see all and then we have a a great CPS that we've been working with for a long time who would probably move into CFO role at some point just looking at the I'm not nice okay so tell me about your week so you have one of the founding members that's kind of transition into more of a a C. suite business role dentistry are you doing and And do you travel between the says yeah so I do travel between offices and I'm usually working four days clinically week Michael Biehn you know most most of the time consistently between two officers focusing more on on the implant stuff and with the geographical location occasionally on on Friday they'll be the fuller fighter thing and now good judgment office new keeping the type thing end yeah going forward personally vision for me we're we're working toward I guess I like it one thing that went off additional we probably will open short-term in dedicated implant center just like kind of centralized that approximate oh cool so at some point I'll probably be more focused on on doing that. We're just trying to find the right right location and opportunity for that yeah and then we'll probably bring in another implant specialty guy to to help be without fucking balance the the other thing that I was surprisingly really enjoyed hiring is teaching these courses I is a thing kind of fell into by accident again we had all these new dachshund coming into the group and we actually asked our grant repeating what's a good course we can send e Docs do we're looking at him and we really want to pay for them Dolph lighter southern California or this or that and so he's like well you know we offer she credits I can help you create your own of course so that's what we did it was Kinda Work but I started teaching them and just never really fell in love with it you are the you are the kind of clinical director of the implant portion for all the dachshund your group then yeah for sure I'm constantly getting text messages it's called fixtures base time yeah that is I I love doing it I'm not complaining how many dogs do you have in your group a question they do some quick thinking not we are at eleven eleven docs okay Nice yeah including yourself oh there you go I don't count myself so so your you're teaching of them you created an actual course for that do you teach people in the outside world how to play implants as well yeah yes so it's been you know like I said it started very informally on my head you know started teaching this course locally partnership you know he's from staircases and taught my you know I was teaching our on own docs and then re sense brought in and taught outside guys I actually had a guy come last time which is a lot of fun cool and then as part of that too I have buddies around who I've gone into their office and done over the shoulder stuff and so yeah just kinda be began informally favor for some friends into it or group and then just really fell in love with it and then you know through the DSL connection to got to know Scott I guess in kind of a digital sort of way which is kinda weird but now realize we're pretty aligned and you know we started talking off lying outside of this and you know about doing something with you guys awesome so tell us about that you have you have an event coming up that you'll be teaching yeah that's going to be our our first one awesome December six seven it's if the Friday Saturday that'll be two full days and our our goal is just to pack as much value as we can into today's the one thing that drives me nuts fi goes you see course and I'm super excited about and I get there's like a sells pitch or you learn one thing and then they rehash it five times sure like I have okay let's talk about something else exactly so yeah that's GonNa be our goal no Scott I think he's Famous on the East Coast Eight I embarrassing but didn't really know much about him before y'all just give a quick plug for human you know is amazing resume you know he's a honest give his full name what's his name yeah yes up from DDS he's a pair of specialty Practicing in Manhattan and it's no his dad actually Stewart from I think it's taught at Nyu Doni break for twenty thirty years literally wrote the book on your point complications literally wrote it literally Yes yes that often textbook and Scott you know a lot of that research that they did on saving risking implant no Scott get it right alongside with them and he's I I'm not sure how long he's taught at NYU Stony Brook as well but he's a professor there as well and he's shouldn't be implying complications courses for I think over a decade teaching science course in all kinds of courses and just you know I just feel like he's in a home other league just super honored that you would consider me to partner with them on on doing this course series awesome so tell us about what people that sign up would what what to expect yeah so the the plan is just to bring it Him and you know he'll he'll do his his whole portion which he's like I said literally they they published the all the articles on it written a textbook and then you know he's also the editor for payroll implanted by Serie so you know if ogling all sorts of great articles that are what I like about the publication is I think it's a it's a dental economic subsidiary but it's very clinically relevant based it's like I personally I'm not as academic so pouring through data or those you know I'm just like what's the what's the takeaway it's just very very applicable yeah yeah yeah it's it's very actionable so anyway the course will be talking about his protocol for rescuing implants when a lot of people would deem them helpless or take the he's got tons of reps and tons of of a dated a backup that you know you can't can't save a failing implants you know the the right protocol I'm getting cleaned up and uh-huh and you know getting regeneration long-term stability so he'll be heavy on that you know my part of it is probably more tied to I'm being a GP and having the lab you know that the complications we see come through from our own docs in the lab then you know not only how do you address things when they happen you know talking about like biological side period plan titus you know most of the companies that those kind of things but also the prosthetic and I guess the pre planning part of it right you know how much bone you need an implant to be healthy oh what do you do you know I get questions all the time like hey can I do a bridge here.
"gunners" Discussed on The Dentalpreneur Podcast with Dr. Mark Costes
"Addict constantly attending and teaching implant courses. How you doing today Clark doing well thanks for having me on Mark Oh man what a resume you graduated in two the thirteen and you've done a whole career worth of things already so jeeze I wanNa Stop I love this you know what I left off their though mark what's that it took you twenty one tries to get into dental school it took me ten I got in on the tenth application everyone why did you Origin Issue I chose the best only option that's what I say about Marquette all the time why don't you go all the way to the walkie to go to dental school when you lived in California house like because they let me in the only reason and I actually ended up loving the Midwest and is a portion of the country that I never would have seen otherwise so I think everything happens for a reason I know that sounds cheesy but but I mean you ended up at a great one I love Oregon Oregon's like Oh man I just love of that whole area is in Hood River last month with my good friend Dr Justin Schmidt and hanging out with him but Oregon is a place that I just I I really really adore so yeah you are doing your time quote unquote I don't mean to make it sound like a prison sentence but when you're doing your time in in New Mexico did you know the whole time that you wanted to eventually leave no we really didn't you know I went down with the planet I'm doing public health and Dane Public Health I served a religious mission before to Mexico a couple of years and that really shaped and changed I was thinking about doing engineering before that got down there and just saw the need and that really shaped me and I wanted to go back and get into healthcare think like a lot of guys like healthcare and realized that dentistry really is the best option for having balancing life for sure and that was my goal to go and all people and I got into realized it was less than what I thought it would be more of just a poorly run business which being entrepreneurial drive me nuts I wanted to try to fix everything for him and they wouldn't let me know what kind of dentistry were you doing in New Mexico it was the GP dentistry but it was southern New Mexico kind of out in the middle of nowhere we didn't have a lot of support and I was very fortunate and blessed to come into a group practice setting where I had mentor docks that were on there tell in their sixties and another good group dentist that had done gp are additional I hadn't done so I had enough backup to where somebody in and say hey you got this giant systems your job oral surgeon bounced back in a week and say I don't have three thousand dollars cash they won't see me so you know just say okay well find your best option let's it's worked through it and we'll figure it out and you know having that backup was great so kind of an unconventional way I guess I bet you user Spanish quite a bit I did yeah every other patient wow I pay cash you're super valuable to that group down there but yeah you know and it was in some ways it was hard to to leave but I just couldn't see myself doing it for thirty years yeah for sure it's hard on your body that type of dentistry is hard on your body it's super rewarding but you know if you're doing one and a half to two times as much dentistry as your colleagues you're GonNa burn out twice I mean it's just it's just an arithmetic body every day that was very the united fibers or dentistry in a year exactly so tell us about the transition from New Mexico to organ doc goes down so you're not talking to you a little bit about that or there I was in comfortable you know we had a my family and Nice place nice how doing dentistry parts of it I loved their price I felt maybe I was compromised in a little bit where I wanted to be what I wanted to be doing and my brother from my birthday gave me shooting Phil Knight Autobiography Love It and for me the takeaway yeah take away that book is just you've got one life to live so don't don't hold back that's people's number one regret is not not change the dreams so around the same time a couple of buddies from dental school that I've known for a long time rent a similar situation where they wanted to get back to the Portland area apparent Oregon Start something special that you know we can really build on her our friendship and trying to do something out of out of the box the third Donilon are entrepreneurial everything else so tell me how this all went down so so it's a ten dental office group how many partners have and how long did it take to assemble this group where they d-i-n-o-v-i-t-e or were they acquisitions tell us all the details at the enters everything holiday above so so Ryan Smith are one founding partner was already out here had in his short time traded three offices with his dad that had one if he came in that you know we're going to expand it and so they had three opposite and that was kind of you know we have somewhere to land myself and our other partner. Dennis founder Dr Hewish he was in Texas at the time said Okay we need to get ourselves out there let's buy some additional options it's just that we have you know somewhere to land and an income meanwhile so we there was a group that was kind of transition and our and we bought a group of three offices and then we've done shooting loves we'd also that we also did a failed Ortho start up which is Kinda the lane that was not in our lane we that was supposed to be an Ortho partner that that didn't work out and anyway yes so a combination of and then there was another one of our dental professors was looking to sell his office so we kinda he wanted to work back a little bit so we rolled that into it so yeah this point we've got too dino votes and the rest or acquisition that we've I'm Kinda rebranded and our our model is one of partners it's Kinda Dso partnership hybrid where they they buy in a half owners after a trial partnership and you know reap the benefits of ownership but also have a guaranteed production salary got it got it okay. do you know jared pope by chance pope yeah he's in He's in the Phoenix area he does he has a similar model to another connect with them yeah he's he was dental school classmate of mine he's doing great things the Phoenix area but but Ah tell me more about how how this is structured are you guys D. S. O. or are you just a collection of LLC's how how is how do you structure you're you're you're kind of business yes so legally legally it is structure now as it is so we have LLC's for each office and Then there's a a legal agreement for services from the Central Management Group we have artery management llc that has an agreement with the practice okay so when a doc by antibodies into the Yellow Sea of of the office has a real asset is my into into with the office and then the centralized services like you know all the insurance verification a are we have full-time in-house market dental marketing people although services are administered from through that that agreement got it okay okay so who is the owner of the DSL then are you guys all equal owners of the DSL how does that work yeah so if it's three Three founders are equal owners along with a business founder partner on Garrett greer he has a history of running droop dental practices also a longtime friend of ours so we brought him in he focused solely on on that eighty percent that's awesome man congratulations this seems like a really cool thing so tell us about hero dental lab that we alluded do I guess in order to kind of get into that tell us what kind of dentistry you geyser are providing in your group of ten yes or Oh was maybe complete paradigm shift from a public health your opposite spectrum into right a Lotta these offices we acquired where fee for service offices and you know provided them you know the one that we took over for a professor he has the local reputation for you know larger started faces I'm so that was kind of goal to work more on that thing we do take some insurances and some opposite that it's just kind of case by case obviously and the Novo's you kind of need to but the focus is more on the restorative and the implant based ended thing and that was the genesis of the lab is try pretty much every lab in the area trying to get consistent results on for the alarm four or a bigger kind of bridge case even just couldn't get predictably what we wanted back functionally athletically and that just you know communicate as everybody knows the business communication with the lab is hard can be on a single unit let alone is bigger Aces Fisher so we ended up bringing in a long time as she was are the glide well for Twenty Years wow Kim young we were just super lucky to you know she's going to transition wife lived up to the northwest we're lucky to snag her and she's leaving awesome okay so tell us how it works guys work direct to consumer as well or is it a lab that just services your ten off USCIS so I mean was a solution to our own problem where for the last year and a half we've just service offices but we gist in that that phase of actually just completed a build out tad another three thousand square feet to the and we're just ah we're just making sure all our kids tight and we're doing some Beta testing right now with some you know some some friends outside officers just to make sure we all worked out but yeah that is the goal that expand that that were in you know being that we are a dentist and we'll see both sides of the thing I think it's been a super helpful for us to do the work in in the office and then get to the lab they have everything they need be able to and then saying oh I thought I had that by right yeah and we're looking at it so that's that's the like a implant hybrid plant hybrids and over dentures and what what kind of stuff is the lab producing so Dr Arnn goal from day one the lab was we don't Wanna be everything to everybody we wanna be exactly what we want which is we do their Konia trying to bridge we do implant implant removable implant and that's about it so yeah we're Millan all our own a large cone yeah we've got a full arch at Neil and then we've got Inject denture injection remo stuff so you know for over Ninja Case or if you wanted to do a traditional acrylic high rate of which I I don't do mini that way anymore most of our stuff stuff on you but yeah we just decided you know what we're not going to get maximum PFM and just focus on this core group of what we do do it well and don't don't overcomplicate it we have that and then we have a Printers ice frameworks as our coney as well yeah okay awesome usually I mean our workflow for the patient and get the records make kind of a highly modified that adventure that have that copy no 'cause they're coming here that's been a really predictable workflow I haven't tried a bunch of different ones at work as well.

Can the Buffalo Bills Put on a Respectable Show Against the Patriots?
"Ken the three in Buffalo Bills on clear not win against the Patriots but can they put up a respectable respectable competitive showing against the Patriots and specifically it can be put a dent in that patriots defense because despite how weak the Patriots schedule has been so far the defense of achievements are getting to the point. We're going to have to start talking about all time defensive metrics I would love for that to stop as quickly as possible right. I think most us what other than you and Kyle I think it's wonderful and we're still mad at gunner for ruining our touchdown. Streak touchdown streak was gone now. This is a nice is test of Jiaxuan. What's what's he got yeah? It doesn't have to be amazing but it's like what are you. This is a nice moment for you. Let's see it. The bills are Oh definitely one of the most pleasant surprises of the season right now much like the Patriots schedule has been week so the Patriots have beaten sealers dolphins jets the bills were beaten the jets the giants and the angles not exactly like stiff competition there on either side. I don't think anyone really thinks the bills are GonNa win but it's just a question of can they hang him because if they can give him what the rest of their schedule is the rest of the way they're in line for a potential eight or nine win season which means they're in line for potential wild card berth and a playoff spot and how they perform this week against the Patriots feels like the kind of game. That's going to tell tell us about what they're capable of the rest of the way well there's only six above five hundred. AFC teams right now and then if you look at the one and two hundred team says Roland Alina two possible playoff teams ram so they have a really good chance to make the playoffs regardless of what happens the other thing is of course this game is in Buffalo. Tom Brady has not had great games on the Brady scale and buffalo in recent years but more importantly what happens when the the Patriots play in Buffalo Bills Fans third dildos onto the field okay. This is now a proud long running tradition we had one in two thousand sixteen one and two thousand seventeen a belief three three in two thousand and fulfill Togo have all sorts of questions from people. How are they smuggling them in folks news for you? The whole point of a Dildo is that you can stick it places theraworx okay. We'll smoke the bed. Will we see more dildos. Turn onto the field or touchdowns from the bills offense against the Patriots defense. That's one of the things I'll I would say again I would say the dildos are like one and a half favorites over the touchdowns. Let's say at least for the four Dodo game board and I would say they're one and a half touchdowns possible for them so maybe there to nap point dildo favorites. I love it. I love it. The over under for the actual game is what forty two kyle. I'm I'm laying you two and a half though those against the bills touchdowns would do you WanNa take touchdowns touchdowns or four dildos for Tilda. Take the dildos Kyle. That's a lot for I'll take. She said I'll take four right cast `priority here until gave Kyle taking the DILDOS did here
As Boris Johnson Pursues Brexit, All Eyes Are on Northern Ireland
"Off on in the times of London do you pay that as the coalition partner the Democratic Union party of Northern Northern Ireland do you P. opens door to new brexit deal for Boris Johnson in the Financial Times they are also speculating that perhaps the the brexit border will begin at the Irish Sea not at the border between Northern Ireland the Republic of Ireland and the guardians matte repeats the very same thing saying that the do you P. has softened its position and in the telegram Boris Johnsons to hold talks with John Claude Yoker in looks of the board and that is again there may be a deal out there that gets rid of the backstop for people understand that the gunners in United Kingdom is four kingdoms and developments drove the debate this week from the far north kingdom's Scotland where the highest court in the land ruled without a fact the prorogation was illegal and the southern most. kingdom Northern Ireland is the southern working them apparently changed their negotiating position what do you make of all this well talk about the backs talk in a minute first the sec the ruling of the High Court of Scotland is an interesting thing because I think what's underlying all of this is the fundamental political question who gets to rule who's in charge who has authority in America that is the constitutional majority there say the majority of the citizens as they are organized under the constitution Lincoln said famously a constitutional majority changing free lead with changes in circumstances in time is the only true sovereign of a free people. so so here's an interesting thing about Britain see Britain doesn't have the kind of cut it in the constitution but not the kind of constitution we have they don't have a document a four thousand words agreed and ratified by convention and then by the people that is unsourced Tate. at what they have is a bunch of big things that were done mostly in the course of disputes between the crown in parliament. that set up the sort of main outlines the British politics but there's no document for a court to refer to and say this law passed by the people because the the great features of the British constitution by the way are acts of parliament not the people. there's no document like that that I can appeal to and say the parliament did wrong here. right and and so that's just the way it works in a you know Churchill says once that that's been this has the added advantage of the British constitution is age custom and flexibility yeah and the and the disadvantages flexibility and and the advantage of the American constitution is coherence and and that clarity and strictness and those of the disadvantages to. so anyway. now the issue is that program is Boris Johnson wants to do one or both of two things right away. he wants to leave brexit on October thirty one one with or without a deal. or out and he wants an election now Alexian is going to the people and it's a it's a custom into how old thing see in America are Lexus our elections are fixed in time. two years every two years for the house every every two years for one third of the Senate every four years for the president right nobody has any choice about that that's constitutional in Britain the election may come at any time. international regarded that as of wonderful advantage because when the parliament gets deadlocked or there's a mass then you can go ask them again. and so first of all Boris Johnson is hogtied right because they have prevented a no deal brexit. they they that you know the existing British law said before they did that that Britain could lead was gonna leave on October thirty one without condition and now they can't go unless the European Union says so and the second thing is they stopped they they have prevented him calling election because of a that when you call the fixed term parliaments act which is in my opinion abomination David Cameron did it at a Tory. because he needs a two thirds majority of the house to call for an election and so he stuck right they they have tied his hands in international negotiations and this ruling about the program prorogation in Scotland that overturns the whole way the British
Nicholas Peppy, Lille And Gunners discussed on Bloomberg Daybreak: Asia
"Thanks Brian it's a done deal as arsenal's completed the transfer of Nicholas peppy from Lille for team record seventy two million pound feet the gunners that stiff competition for the twenty four year old winger as inter Milan Napoli Patty center man in a clinical Madrid also all had agreed to the transfer fee with the fender hardwire pulling himself by the Leicester city's Friday friendly against Atlanta some believe it's a sign that there is movement on the twenty six year old desire to move to old Trafford menus reported to have offered seventy million pounds plus ten million and add ons molesters looking for a package totaling ninety five million pounds of
