"All of us really keep track of where the heck we're going and who's going to be here, even when my wonderful Rachel is back in Virginia and we are here. So speaking of apps, do you use any of the horse management apps that are out now? Say, hey, we also use horse report system, which is fantastic. And the best part of that is that it lets us upload documents really easily. So for example, when we found ourselves at the horse show this weekend, and somebody had to enter the show but hadn't remembered to attach the most recent round of vaccinations for the horse, all I was two clicks away. I could call it up. I could beam it over to show management via email via AirDrop. There's so many functionalities to the app and it's really easy to use, which is fantastic. The big the big one for me on the trainer side is that we use an app called time center, which is my lesson scheduling system. So if you want to take a lesson with me, you go to time center dot com slash surprises fort horse and you sign up for a lesson my entire schedule is there, months in advance. That's awesome. Yeah, gosh. It is. It's a Swedish company. And there are certainly other apps that offer the same. There are other websites that offer the same service, but I've been using time center forever. And second place in my heart is a wonderful company called stridor, which does all of our clinic is not scheduling excuse me, but sign up. So camps and clinics, you can sign up via their website and it's all done via PayPal. It's all done very easily, but they also have my waiver. My liability waiver hosted. So I can just send you a link and you can sign my liability waiver online. I don't have to print out paper and then it is stored for me to never meet again because smart people don't see other people, and I don't do anything to deserve being sued. But it's great. It's great to have it all in one place. And it just all of these are things that save time. All of these are things that streamline the process. And then there's just a lot less back and forth so that we have more time to run 16 head of horses with only four people. How far are you looking ahead when you're look to you look at the calendar for the year? Okay, so talk to you before you answer that. I gotta know what's that app called again because I'm booked up through training through June. And I would love to have people be able to, okay, go sign up for whatever spot you want. What was the time center is the one I'm using right now. I am told I'm told that there is something on the horizon at strider, which is going to be a similar service. It'll actually let people pay in advance. The recon, but I can't say enough good things about strider. So I can't say enough good things about time center either. They're both. They're both really good companies with great customer service. So there you go. Very good. Carry on. All right, so let's talk a little bit about your horse and then I want to ask you about how you figure out what a schedule is for a year. So Guernsey Elvis is really, is that your top horse right now? Absolutely. He's my cop horse ever. He's very exciting..

Cyber Citizenship Education Is Essential

"Scholars and researchers from the think tank new america recently released an education policy initiative titled teaching cyber citizenship bridging education and national security to build resilience to new online threats. The report outlines challenges facing educators when it comes to preparing students for the online world describes the broad spectrum of reasons why it's important that they are properly prepared and provides resources and potential solutions for communities and school systems to adopt joining us. This week are two of the reports. Co-authors lisa guernsey director of new america's teaching learning and tech program and peter w singer strategist and senior fellow. Stay with us. This really was a meeting of the minds report. In many ways the subtitle is bridging national security and education and that's because My my colleague and co author on the report peter singer. He's in the national security world. I'm in the education world and the two of us were both recognizing at around the same time that there were some really big issues To grapple with when it comes to the way students. Today's youth but also adults are are taught about how to see and verify what's coming across their screens online and the social media platforms that they're experiencing And that this has repercussions for national security but it also has a lot of for what we're teaching students in school and how teachers are equipped to do that kind of teaching so that prompted us to to pull this together. We have working with cyber florida. Which is a partner on this project with us in our co-authors Nate fisk and jamaica anderson at a big role in this as well. But we wanted to start pulling these threads together on the national security side and the education side.

"So Dina is a committee member of the Victor Hugo in Guernsey society and actually the connection to Paris's strong as he goes family donated the house to the city of Paris who currently own operated on Guernsey, we've visited hot Phil house earlier this week and had a chance to speak with Dinah Dinah, welcome to our world travel study. We had such a good experience visiting Victor Hugo house earlier this week. And I'm surprised that we're able to fit it in our schedule because it just opened a week ago. Truly marvellous and unique place in very lucky to have it having guns. Oh, absolutely. Most people listening today. They're going to know Victor, Hugo from the stories, and obviously what he the Broadway hit lame is rob. But he was also inspired on Guernsey his home over fifteen years. Hot Phil house to write many other celebrated works, correct? Yes. A huge amount of poetry. He didn't have time for politics during the animal. So he spent his time writing he plays. He met poetry. He. Novels including the toilet in the which is another heat dedicated to the people have guns and an incredible cooled, the laughing man, which actually inspired the Coon Batman, not many people. Now, that's an interesting tidbit. I didn't know that learn something new. I mean, it's no wonder I think so often great writers are inspired by the sea in Guernsey is a beautiful spot to be inspired and so often on their island retreats. And of course, he was in exile. So he had a lot going on in his mind. So let's discuss the fact going back to full house that Victor designed many aspects of this house. Didn't he designed the whole antique guns? What men to do the full him? So he's the local local compass, and he told him what to do because he was very very keen that people should Crossman should be appreciated should be used very important team. And so he got them to come to his specifications and his his grandfather was contacted. So it's in the family. I was very surprised to see he was also an artist and some of his own artwork is on some of the furniture and the walls, and he's quite talented. Yes. I think he's everything except music all the other arts, and he has nothing couldn't do now. So in terms of the home, also his lookout, his beautifully restored. In writing room. Just absolutely stunning on the top of the house. I'm curious or any of his family members still alive they able to see them because he had two grandchildren despite having full children any any to children and family quite a few descendants. And some of them have indeed been highs recently since it's been the reaction been have you heard anything right now. Do they feel that it has been restored? We've I mean, obviously first time we've gone through it and seeing so much even his sons work that was there any reaction from the family. I think that pleases everybody else's he's upset at thrilling. It's been so well done the people who've been volt in the top of that game in every respect to the most beautiful Crossman ship. And what we love is. We're doing our broadcast from Paris for the show. But here we are in Guernsey and the connection between France and Paris and Guernsey with Victor Hugo. It couldn't have been tied together. Any better? Very very strong Lincoln. I think people probably to pay she ate highly important guns. He wants to to you that you had the time to think to concentrate, and the I say he arrived here star, and he left here superstar. Hey, published in between one question from what is something that you hope that people that might come here and visit hot Phil house. What do you want them to take away from? I think they need to when they go there. They'll appreciate the not just the right? I should read to Hugo. They should read his life, and they should understand how much of essential reform. He was how much he wanted to do the right thing and to help people and to freidan, so it's very very important fascinating history behind the man in the house Dina. Thank you so much for joining us today. We really appreciate your time. Thank you. Thank you. All right. Very interesting place to visit. If you get a chance folks, and they could not have been more for to as that. We were there this week, especially everything that happened with Notre dome right one of his most famous works that he's so well known for his Notre Dame Pattie. But in in English, it's.

And hanging onto him seen saying what happens down the road is. I know that just last year we kind of saw transition in the pricing cryptos, you know, that's just gonna continue to do. So until we're fully on board. You know, those who get on on it early in in taking time to invest a little bit. We know that could day off in the long run the green man, it'll be interesting to see kind of what happens with particular. Cryptocurrency, like, I said is hilarious that saw office as a parody? And it just really kinda took everybody by. Storm especially even Dr Palmer itself, and it was just like, oh, wait a minute this market cap. The sky rocketed what happened? Why is you know? So it kinda kinda meals. I guess take a look at a little bit differently taking more serious. So, but I mean, I think that's that's a really cool. That's pretty awesome. I think you're the first person I've ever heard say that that particular crypto currencies will really kinda help, you know, push him into the space many starting off as pretty, you know, crypto currency to begin with. So that's that's interesting. And you know, what actually I think about it do what they hear people talk about. And honestly have no idea like what the hell. But like is it dodge coins? Those coin doggy coin like everybody pronounces it kinda like their own way. I've heard it all different kinds of ways. And I just kinda settled in on dodge going Gajah. I don't really see much is what we call. It is long as it has utility. Yeah, joke dodge coin did provide. Ilady for me in a sense that it was allowing me to use dodge point as kind of a bridge currency to get from one one form of Guernsey to another in my transfers dodge going on. It is Basco AMAN is cool. You definitely man you do. I mean, obviously from sitting here having a conversation, which you man, you definitely seem annot exactly what you're talking about. It socially media group man on you, have, you know, you're the founder in, you know, the director of media when it comes to that particular group mass. I just wanted to ask like what exactly is a particular media group about what are you basically trying to offer to the crypto world of blockchain world as a solution. What you know, what is your goal with that particular with this particular company? Okay is the goal with Toshi media group because I've I've managed in in my team members also manage to build up such targeted community. Over the course of time since I first started back in two thousand in eleven thousand twelve the guys that I have on on my team. The for instance, my I see oh manager was just out can do live news feed with NASDAQ pertaining to I see oh that he's managing while he just got finished. Man leading search for Sala's plane says wreckage found

"Of course, the story that's been dominating English football over the last couple of weeks has been an update in the last few hours wreckage from a plane carrying the Cardiff City. Football million Asala has been discovered near the Channel Islands between the south coast of England and the French coast the plane disappeared on his way from in France to Cardiff with the newly signed Argentine striker and pilot David Ibbotson onboard reporter John Fernandez is in Guernsey and can join us live firstly. I John what exactly has been found. While twenty eight nautical miles north of Ganzi west of Alderney in the Channel Islands substantial wreckage, according to David man's the man launching this privately crowd funded Sach was found. Now, he says that this was found at nine thirty yesterday morning. They only did three passes until by stopped. And then got away from message and handed over to the a IB who are now conducting the salvage operation now, he wouldn't be drawn on whether any bodies have been found, but he did say that it was a substantial amount of wreckage that had been found on the seabed in a particularly rough area of the ocean. So the the the chances are I think everyone has kind of written off the chances of finding anyone alive from this is that for. I think that's absolutely true. And I think from the start of this private sector operation. They very much worldwide is going to be a recovery appreciation for applying. But Mr Mann said now his job is done. These are the questions that the Sala family had of now being on. So he's hoping that this will bring them at least some closure at least some idea of what happened to this missing part of Malibu that went missing two weeks ago today, it went missing twenty past eight off the north coast of old name. Matt was lost anybody has met. We see a huge outpouring of grief from the footballing wild form, a pilot Davidson and Cardiff City footballer Amelia honor Saleh and a huge amount of money raised for this search effort, which eventually did pay dividends. Obviously, we're very very center of this process. Now, I'm just wondering whether having found something in the sea. Whether we're any closer to knowing what exactly happened to this plane. I think that will be a much longer process, if I'm honest, the AARP, very thorough. They at the moment are working on the salvage operation. They are launching an unmanned submersible vehicle as I said the conditions in the channel at the moment are not conducive to any kind of Sach actively they're out there because they have a large vessel, but can survive these at these tough waters, but it is not an easy task. It's an eighty foot boat. But the winds are hi gale force hair. And the Channel Islands at the moment. Now, the hope is that they can get as much of this wreckage as possible. And then as you say, hopefully, that will lead them some way to finding out what happened to this

"He would have done this thirty five days ago, and the first I'll do it by asking you and your viewers a simple question. Remember the last time that your you're limber heading emergency. And then you waited two years pleasant three weeks before going to emergency room. No one does that and factually on the facts of gnashing Guernsey, Donald Trump will lose in court. But here's a real reason why I think he doesn't want to do this. If he did this. He would get a one time shot of between five to seven billion dollars which would pay for about one tenth of his wall and all future procreation bills. Congress will right in that you cannot use this funding for the wall meeting. He'll never get the rest of his well-built. So only way you can do this to get as well built is negotiate with congress and have a comprehensive immigration. Plan. Let me very quickly. Switch topics with you. And let's talk about this withdrawal of the United States from the IMF treaty, and it on the foreign relations committee, your thoughts about this idea of withdrawing the US now, we've had the Russians say not only are they to withdraw, but they're going to restart their missile programs so nuclear weapons and nuclear treaties can be very complicated. But there is one very simple truth. And that is this no one wins in nuclear war. So the yours withdrawing from the treaty was a very bad idea. I've also introduced legislation center at Marquis that prevents the president from launching a nuclear first-strike without first getting congressional authorization. Congress needs to exert its row and much more forceful way. Especially with Donald Trump and office. All right. And lastly there I want to give you an opportunity to weigh in a lot of prominent Democrats calling on Ralph north and governor Virginia resign, what are your thoughts on the matter? A governor north of must resign that picture in his yearbook is completely indefensible it is incredibly r-. Racist. And I note that former secretary of state micro, tell Florida resigned for a picture of him being black face. This is even worse. It's black face next KKK figure.
