"I thought they were gonna go after Holland of Holland didn't stand Troy, but now that they're only talking about a GM. I'm I'm not sure, you know, we've had the Mike Gillis to be here. I think he's going to get interviewed there. Bob Nicholson has said he's going to try to keep quiet on this. I think they're going to futa. I think they're gonna be bills ITO. I think they're gonna be Mark hunter think they're going to Brad mccrum. I think people are gonna ask for a lot of power. The people were going in. There are going to ask for a lot of power. And I think that's gonna be where going to be one of the most interesting questions are they willing to give up that kind of power. You know, the fact that they're not talking about president of hockey house. But GM, I think that's really intriguing in what sense in that. That GM sounds will be veteran guy coming in that GM's plug in a lot of power. I think they're gonna Keith Gretzky still think he's in the mix. I think Bob Nicholson this has been such a roller coaster ride for him. I think he's changed kind of thinking of few times here. And there I'm curious to see where this is going to go over the next couple of months that general manager come in with a preferred candidate behind the bench. Well, I think it's going to be up to that guy. Right. Sure. Certainly. But as part of that. Part of the interview process is I'm not just hiring this GM marrying this GM who is bringing with him this recommendation. I'm trying to think like for some of these guys who the obvious connection. That's what I'm trying to dry. The the Mark hunter gets the job who's the coach? There's no way deals going there DJ. Yeah. That's all DJ. Smith is a great call. What any get at here in a roundabout way is is there any outside the box thinkers, and if so because this name has popped up more so in in discourse online than anywhere else. Seventy three on Kentucky's of thoughts here now from Brian Kelly the head coach for the fighting Irish his thoughts on north western defense. Really good fun for make it difficult to run the football. Very opportunistic. I think does a great job of keeping his football team in the moment. You know, they they never feel like they're out in the game. Regardless of who the competition is they're always going to be there. And they find ways to win football games. I think I think the one thing that people have to understand about this team is they're twelve and one in their last thirteen big ten games. And so, you know, anytime you have that kind of success over a long period of time your team believes they're going to win football games. I think he's done a great job with that. Interesting. No furniture in office. As we go now to Brian Kelly from the Brian Kelly show, his thoughts on the keys to victory against north west. Well for us. I mean, hold onto the football. If you watch that game a couple years ago we fumbled on the goal line. And we fumbled. It. You know, we're we're trying to run out the clock. So for us. It's always take care of the football. We're gonna move the football. We're going to be able to find ways to score points. But it's turnovers, right? And take care of the football. Wisconsin turned into football over last week against northwestern. If we take care of the football, and then we have to eliminate and we've been great at this. I think we're seventh in the country in terms of plays per pass attempt. We can't give up the big play pass. And they are really good at it. They pushed the ball vertically down the field. So if we don't give up the big play pass, and we take care of the football. We're in pretty good shape on Saturday, the CCT.

And the thing that I kind of gas is when they wake up the middle of the night and very silently start undressing each other. And I was like, this feels like a type of intimacy. I don't see on. He's so focused on the intimacy rather than the fame being the witching part right, which I think is so clever and like for sort of middle that I heard we both toss at the same moment. Realize we're both awake for a moment. Oh, talking or. Very like slowly methodic, but it's also a little frightening because you're like, oh my God. This guy gets so drunk that he looks dead. And then he wakes up and he's good some ex, but you know, but for her so much of the intimacy is that she feels comfortable with the physical appearance what? No, no, no. Like so, like in the parking lot seem right. She doesn't sing for him until after he talks about like where he's from a little bit. Right. Can ranch and stuff. That's when she opens up a little bit like they're both. Like, you know, her thing that she's afraid of is that she can't be seen as an artist, like, right. She's a good saying like, no one takes seriously Saint. Like, why isn't it happen? Why isn't it happening? He's talking about sort of that something that like fry. She's like, I love performing. I love the music. I've been through this. I've had the people reject me because they don't like my nose. I don't even want to pursue that kind of thing. Yeah. So she's one of those people where it's like, I'm not stopping my my regular performances of the thing. I love, but I have written. Industry because you wanna be part of it's nasty, right? But so what's enthralling about him to her is like the, he sees her as like an artist like he's excited by what she says. And that's bar has convert, which I think is another great speech. I think that's gonna. Conversely, what right? And I'm so dried up because he never writes any songs in the movie, no, all his son except for the winning which wills, but all songs like old songs and he's a star right? And did good music. But you don't like he's like his if he wrote songs now just suited hotel room and crows pills with my boot. You know, like he's so law seems like Philip now like he'd hire people. Right? There's another library other called flats migrate, which is another rapper around Olympic at that wants developed by Miguel Grinberg and we basically from what I remember 'cause I developed it was four years ago now, but I think we developed them basically the exact same time release something like a month, each clearly independently. His is a lot more of a direct rapper round Olympic, which a lot of people for a lot of people is exactly what they aid, and it's not straightforward on time. Mine on either end. I wanted to like people to dig into all the internals of Olympic in like introspective exactly what was going on time. So it's more of a very opinionated framework on my. It ended up. People can shoot, it's good to have options. That's cool. Let spend a little time talking about maybe the biggest news for flask in that it went for him who they like zero twelve. Twelve to one. Oh, zero point. Twelve point four to one. Well, here's a major open source project going to one, oh, which is actually, I think, really, really positive. And I think it's, I'm just super excited to see that you guys do that because it's it's time. I think it was time. I mean, I was I been working on getting that happening for about a year prior to at least we joked about it the pike con because Mahmoud semi that come out this thing called zero ver for making fun of projects that we're still on. Like zero dot, something that are ten years old and flying less now. He's He's actually actually flat. flash. After I released one. Oh, and then people are like, oh, it's because of zero ver? No. Record straight. This is going to lot longer before that zero for. This is an, I actually got them to put this on the list. Graduated now on their website? Yeah, I've been working for a while and we have people asking like, hey, this is this is zero point, twelve. My boss doesn't want me to use it because it's not exactly offered and we coming and tell people this has been stable for years. Nothing's really gonna change. There's no breaking bugs or anything. It's more just an upper, I think for a long time I told them just tell them it's version, twelve misplaced zero or something. Yeah, we finally are. I mean, that is the impression for a lot of people, especially people coming from commercial oriented software backgrounds of the gain, like Microsoft shops, you know, dot net folks, I'm thinking Java and those types of people. They're just like, well, I mean, I think they even have a rule of the Microsoft shots like he, he'll version three because the first you're messed up. Right? And I just think there's so many large organizations that at least some of the. Folks in there have that mindset. And I think a having this become one. I was like pretty big step to just sort of sites up that conversation. And I mean, it feels it feels significant. Even if like the actual stability of the software hasn't changed the acceptability to use it in production environments doesn't change really, but I must be, but there are some major changes own, you know. I mean, there's the list is not trivial right now, like I was kinda surprised when I made that release slot for this release notes. Just how much changed. It's a lot of small things on a sit like, but it adds up, right? You wanna talk through some of the changes, some of the major changes. So yeah, we dropped support for onto point six, three point three, which made me really happy. I don't really nice. I was looking at. I was trying to use the pipe, which I mentioned earlier to figure out stats about how people using it. I think less than point one percent of insults around two point six. And I thought that was super telling certainly worth more than just a mention at the beginning of the show. I mean is just tra-. It's a bummer. It's it's, it's, I feel for all y'all were huge fans and that and you know you down about this and wanted to do max and Justice by talking about him a little bit, maybe get him some more fans post humorously or whatever and let his name continue live on. But yesterday his body was put on a plane to Pittsburgh for his funeral, which is apparently a Jewish service that's going to be at a chapel in the city and inclosing. Here's a bit from a guy named binge ni. Grinberg's column was on billboard dot com. It was published today. It's title the MAC Miller remembered for his passion, sincerity and hopefulness. And I thought this was a very telling couple of paragraphs about MAC Miller from Mr. Grinberg. So here they are. MAC. Miller was not your typical music star, and that's what made him. So cherished MAC was the guy you grew up with or maybe he was you in your own coming of age. Moguls and celebrations. He talked about things you could relate to and was open about everything. He was going through. MAC never war disguise. He was who he was, whether you were with him in person, heard him in a song, saw him at show or worked with him in the studio and through all the ups downs and increased fame, he always he was always the same heartfelt funny, passionate, complex, and loving person. We all knew from the beginning to know MAC was to want to know him even better and dam. Was that man? Talented? He was without a doubt, the most gifted person I've ever known. He was an intricate wordsmith played every instrument and produced incredible music. He could perform his ass off. He even made a jazz EP on a whim. He had a million ideas per day. Mack was music through and through. He lived it and breathed it, and there was never a plan beaver him. Music was what he was put on this earth to make. He was a true visionary as true as artists come. I recommend you. Read that whole column. It was very good. It's a hell of a lot better than anything that I could or say about the situation. So I wanted to shine some light on that next segment. Animal of the week. This week's animal the week is the immortal jellyfish that I Ross bolan didn't know existed until today. I've never. I don't know how that is, or maybe I just like erased it from memory or something, but. The immortal jellyfish surreal thing. It's it's called terra tops. Dorney is it scientific name otherwise known as the immortal jellyfish is species of small biologically immortal jellyfish found in the Mediterranean Sea in the waters, Japan. And if you're wondering like what is immortal mean the definition as stated in the fucking dictionary is living forever never dying or decaying. Oh, yeah, this is a jellyfish doesn't die in you. Probably wondering how that is. I'm an explain it to you. Surprise. You can find this bad boy in the Mediterranean Sea and the waters. Japan. It is one of the few known cases of animals also. Very cool fact here that is capable of reverting completely to a sexually immature colonial stage after having reached sexual maturity as a solitary individual. So think Benjamin button here becomes fully grown reverse back into baby. You know, we also that Brad Pitt movie. I saw once it was okay. It was like six hours long..

Let's take away from week one here before we really turn the page ahead too week to which team in you and your mind was the most impressive. What was the most impressive week? One win. Gotta go with your gist green semi. Think about it Monday night football on the road with the youngest quarterback in, you know, in modern air, you have to go out there and have forty points against the head coach who coach with the New England Patriots have been known to destroy looking quarterbacks. I mean, the gist just like they totally outclassed at toy lines in all three phases, it was just remarkable win of the season for the New York Jets me like over here just done talking about the jets. Yeah, we're not. We're not talking about that because I think that there was. There was something as you look back on that game. Now you see, you can say, I'm delighted that he threw that ridiculously terrible interception on the very first play because the ability to bounce back from any. I don't know that any quarterback is that I know that far through a pick six on his first name. But neither of them were as terrible. The decision is that was that was the worst decision of ever seen a quarterback making my life and the ability to bounce back from that as he did. I think it winds up being a net positive. Absolutely. And the thing that you've heard about Sam donors, how cool, how cool and calm he's been threatened preseason. So to Gordon and throw that I that that picked six, you think, okay, let's see how to keep balance back. He goes out there. It has also perfect quarterback rating moving forward. The rest of the complete passes after that internet, my son darnold is very exciting. Remember this is a guy who had like interception concerns going into the game. So his college career wasn't exactly clean. Absolutely, but he turned it around. All right. How about the other side of it? How about the most concerning loss about the Detroit Lions? Another side of talking about team, none in seventy lash it. It wasn't a bad team as go, nine and seven. You got mad patricians opening game going to begin rookie quarterback and you'd want and get this droid only national rounds to me. I mean, they look, they look like they hadn't practiced all week like they didn't know what was going on with the New York Jets. They got totally embarrassed dismantle what other words I can use the describe the Detroit Lions. It was pathetic. That type of performance eight put out there is there to that. We knew what was coming under station from the jets. We knew it was coming. Here's. Signals. I don't think they knew the signals. Maybe Matthew Stafford was repeating signals. You get caught caught wind to it, but it's more so just film study, no-one teams tendencies. I mean, this is even though Matt Patricia, their new head coach, he kept the Saint office coordinator so you can find Tennessee's from that offense from from previous years one more for you. How about the team?.
