Chicago Mayor Lightfoot Posts Maskless Photo at WNBA Game, Violating Indoor Mask Mandates

"You think Lori Lightfoot cares that there's any pushback over her? Celebrating a WNBA, basketball teams win in the middle of a crowd indoors without her mask on. You think she cares? She just wants the police officers in Chicago fired. She wants to fire the cops. For not following the vaccine mandate. But she doesn't have to follow the mask mandate that she imposed. She's Lori Lightfoot. Biden doesn't need to follow the mask mandate that he imposed. He's Joe Biden. That's the point they know. You think Joe Biden doesn't know he's gonna get photographed? He's the president of the United States. You think somebody's gonna take his picture? Is he's walking through a restaurant? Well, of course they are. He doesn't care. Heck, Lori Lightfoot's picture. The one that she's sitting there grinning ear to ear in the crowd full of masked up people, you know why the people in the stands are mashed up 'cause they have to, 'cause that is the rules. But those rules don't apply to her. She's Lori Lightfoot. She's the mayor. His rules for thee not me. And they know it. She posted the picture. She doesn't care? But fire those police officers fire that Washington state football coach, fire that ESPN reporter fire that nurse fired that state trooper fire people who don't follow the Democrat rules.

"What experience has led you to start grin gaming, when it launched? It was last year, I believe, you know, you know, you leave it behind him. You leave it. You leave your previous position behind you. Start green gaming, what led you to that, conclusion, to start that up? Well, you know, as you said, I used to work at the Chicago Board of Trade, doing a high frequency and computerized trading. You know, I'm a Trader at heart. I will bet on anything and everything and turn every ping pong game took into a into a competition. And so you know, whenever I'm watching sports games or TV shows or Esports tournaments and constantly asking myself off to happen next, I bet they'll get that killer, I bet you know, Steph Curry easier to make that three. I bet you Clippers are going to win the tip-off and, you know, I figured I wasn't alone. And so really in many ways, I created this platform for myself, for my friends, right? As a way to put our money, where our mouth is at every beat of the song. Action. And so I'd grin gaming, we allow users and viewers to predict every play. Literally, so every 10-20 seconds, you get a new question that's perfect to the next outcome and you're able to to to just predict how the game will unfold. You're not predicting the outcome per se, but you're predicting performance of players teams. Offenses defense has different plays or game setups. So yeah, in many ways it was just a a way to satisfy my own, you know, thinking during Live

Everything the President Does Is Scripted

"Everything. The president does scripted. Got it compressed everything. It's never a mystery what's going to happen next so why joe biden gave. We talked about this already halfway with these videos. Why does he always look confused at the end of these things. I'm not kidding. It's a serious question. Everything in the white house is scripted. I know you get a little schedule every day. It has everything you'll go here. Here's the footprint you'll stand on. Here's where you'll read from the teleprompter. They'll be a grip and grin f. You know what a grip and grin is shake. Someone's hand smile. Take some photos photo line. You'll then go to the cars in the car you'll have five minutes with the senate or whatever it is then we'll take off. There's never ever a mystery about what happens next. So why is this guy. Perpetually confused

John Wojtowicz: The Man Who Robbed a Bank for Love

"John wada. Wits strutted outside the bank with a smile on his face. He hardly seemed to notice the team. Police officers watching his every move weapons drawn. He strode over to the shuttle. They'd call for him and inspected it carefully opening the door and patting down the seats. It looked clean. He turned to the crowd of spectators and wave like he was on stage whether they cheered or hurled insults. It was all the same to him. No such thing as bad attention before he walked back up the steps of the bank. John's gaze landed on a group of men standing among the crowd. There was something off about them. It looked as if they were trying too hard to blend in. John wasn't one to ignore his instincts. He pointed at the men and ordered them to fall back and join the police. He didn't want any undercover cops trying to sneak up on him after a moment of hesitation they it and backed away. John grinned. he was in total control. Finally the dog would have his day.

Britney Spears' conservatorship, explained

"Justin timberlake publicly apologized to britney spears even though their relationship ended like twenty years ago. The apology has a lot less to do their bygone romance and much more to do the reckoning over how this country treats its famous young women and britney spears has gone from something of a villain in this story to something much more closely resembling a hero. The freebritney movement deserves much of the credit for that transformation. It's a fan driven campaign which hopes to liberate brittany from her conservatorship constance. Grady has been covering free brittany for. Vox so a conservative ship is illegal solution for what happens if you're an adult but you can't make decisions for your life in your best interests. So this is something that is used if you have a mental health condition or brain injury You're developing dementia. And you're unable to care for yourself. So accord will assign someone to do that for you. So britney went under conservatorship in two thousand eight and under the terms of her conservatorship. She's not in control of her finances or business or personal life so for about two years now going back actually to the point that the conservatorship was set in place in two thousand eight but most intensely for the past two years and especially now since the release of be new documentary framing. britney spears. Fans have been speculating. That the conservatorship has left britney spears as a prisoner in her life and that she might need to be rescued. Okay well let's go back to two thousand eight and talk about why britney spears was placed under this conservatorship. If you think back to two thousand eight you might remember that. There was just nonstop goth coverage of britney spears that year relief and in two thousand seven especially as well. They're repoprt ati following her around. All the time would like wait outside her limo when she was going to clubs to take up strict photos of her and then the entire internet would discuss her underwear and she was starting to react back to them. In increasingly bizarre ways she started yelling at the paparazzi in a british accent once he attacked hover car with an umbrella. Please please seed saved her own head up. Which was all photographed by paper off. They're very famous pictures of her sort of grinning and holding up a to her scalp. She went in and out of rehab. A few times that to the pictures were all over teams. The press helps them now and is performed at the emmy in two thousand seven in this kind of infamous performance where she was sleepwalking through it the press discussed whether she was fat now lot there was a lot going on for her. It was not a good year. Fears has lost so she fits under psychiatric hold twice. What does that mean. She is put in a mental hospital and not allowed to leave what happened. I think that one angle of what happened to britney that we have to hit here. Is that the media industries incredibly sexist straight and even more so when she was coming up. There's one subject we didn't discuss. What was that. everyone's talking about it. Well you'll breasts. There is that whole narrative about whether britain a real virgin and that some like ruin adults would ask her at press conferences. And my of virgin. I think especially when she was with justin timberlake and they've never really cared about justin timberlake's virginity because who would. It was just about britney in her schoolgirl uniform. And you know each. She actually a good girl. There was this intense very sexualize focus on her life. That just wasn't there. In quite the same way for her male cohort. No matter how famous they were. It's hard to imagine that that did anything good for her. And then why does the conservative. Come about a month after the second psychiatric hold. Her father says these are not working. Long-term go under a hold. A doctor will say okay. You're fit to live your own life. Now she'll go out and then she'll spiral and it happens again. So he asked the court for emergency temporary conservatorship over brittany the courts. Brandt that order and then it becomes permanent.

Will tom's cancer. It will very quickly got that memory of that awesome care. Which is you know what it's kind of not related to this but it kind of is in a way but i'm on this show. This is obviously going out on sunday common and found a youtube video. That i'm going to play out the show with because it's basically mcmillan concent- s.'s. Yet found a little three minute long video where they're talking about death and watched it just because it was it was called something like what do people say before the day and i thought i'll watch see if there's any source like lessons to live. But they kind of you know deal with death so often they have a very different slant on and it's a refreshing lovely slant. Early bought people here at the end of this episode. the wha didn't expect. Is that within this three minutes thing through to paranormal things discussed which is why i'm gonna play at the end. I'm one is about blue. Premonition prophesized rarely their own death. You know like The dimensional woman saying like. Oh well are waiting till of eightieth birthday party. And then i'll go on the sailing. Loads of instances of that and it took place And then one of the nurses themselves refers to head nyla think diane embeds and around or simone and as she's about to die she looked over the nurses shoulders and starts talking to mother. Who's passed on and you on this is like the defendants going to see any sorts of proof of the afterlife. You dog it's going to be people who deal with death on a daily basis. It was kind of refreshing. it was and they. Will they say the video again. I'll play the audio at the end of the show. So i'm kind of doing a spoil now but like one of the women on it says Through doing that job she didn't she no longer fears that you know. She seemed not the research thing as a good death. And it's being surrounded by your family and you'd realize what about death is because there's no one there and all this it's it's it's a very powerful piece of audio that i'm gonna play at the end if i say so myself but it is really nice. Well there's a famous one of Johnny cash johnny cash His wife guide a comment. Top head will enable. It's also that one will do thank you. Yes yes june cau- she died and he posed by six months off the her Essentially cheap. And he said something in some so you that he was gonna go soon as well. Another hasre andropov died like the the the the family went out and they were both. They're just doing. The family came back in and the book dad holding hands on the couch on like approved. It was both of course. It's just absolutely the power of the human body. Or i would never say i would never guess and we're going to back off track but i would never guess if some save me. Think someone's got the power to to know when we're gonna die. Or with a nutcase to kind of control it i'd say no don't be fucking off of course not but i don't know those.

"Sunday her ray. I know i'm happy because it's sunday. It means a sunday sermon to get to talk to you guys about the dead ghost. The supernatural the paranormal. Anything that is spooky rally. That's what we're gonna talk about today. Now we have a bit of a small is board. Yes wonderful word. Is this german word. I don't know. But i think it means like a typist. It means like a little bit of everything. Yes so we're going to have a calling call. We have the wonderful matt on for the second time. Yes he's being told a terrifying tale from one of his work colleagues which is going to share with us today. we then have an emailed in talked by themselves. What does not right. It's not how you say. But you know what i mean. These recorded it himself. A wishes to stay anonymous. But it's about a specialty. Seen on the way to cornwall. He's very kindly record himself telling us a story and we're also going to have a couple of your sentence stories. Read out by me so guess. What a little smorgasbord. We're going to have today. It's going to be a mighty episode. I do believe anyway. First things first most importantly how the devil all now. I know the madness. That's going on in the world and the last seven days we could talk about not going to because that's not why you're here. Let me just say. I hope you're all safe and good and if you're not then i'm very sorry about that. I hope you get better soon. Speaking of illnesses and things such as that well. It's not really speaking of illnesses. Those i think at the end of the show now is the video completely by happenstance and you may be like why the hell of you included that audio at the end bought. I'll tell you why. Because i like all very much. I call you people very very much and this little piece of audio. I'm going to be at the end of the show is It touched me greatly and basically what it is in the uk. I think actually in the uk there's counci charity called mcmillan. And they very much do palliative care. So end of life care of people and i stumbled upon this video. Mcmillan nassar's talking about conversations. I've had with people as the dying and stuff like that now included on the show for two reasons one of those few weird comments about like people who say no. I'm going to have me birthday party in an all time after that. And they do people talk into dead relatives stuff like that but it's more about it was a kick up the ass for me. Let me put it that way. It's more about the shortness of life and and life is short guys. Let's not waste of things we don't like doing now. And that's just me preaching into a microphone. And what the hell who the hell am i. Let's be honest. It really hits home and hope if anyone needs to hear just some sort of motivation to go and do the things that you want to do with your life. I hope the little two minutes audio at the end helped you at that anyway. And also as a trigger warning if i'll mention again before it comes on if anyone's like don't wanna fucking pardon my french then feel free to stop it there. I just think that. I know i got out of it. So hopefully you guys will to anyway for me being preach preachy pants and we are going to get right into the spook but fast off. I know you're all wondering you're not going to be singing any patriots. Yes i am going to be singing songs for our new patriots. Thank you very much for your concern. We have some wonderful new patriots to thank. Of course we thank all of our patrons but we give our nuance a little sing song to say. Thank you very much. If you'd like to become one of our wonderful patriots team and get access to over two hundred shows yes. We put two little bits every week. Two extra shows every week. I'm going to recall the just after this. It's going to be about phantom hitchhikers. I think it is. Because i'm doing the prep if you want that and you want all of those shows it's locked down again and you think i'm bored. I need to reward myself with something. Nice that's gonna hopefully make me laugh and maybe a little bit scared. Then you need to get over to patriot. Dot com ford slash. We need to talk about ghosts and sign up for just like these wonderful people. Have here the guitars out. And it's the guitar off my sixteenth birthday. Yes twenty five more than that. No twenty five years ago you know anyway. I'm gonna sing a little. Thank you song to three. wonderful people. Kaley serach league. And amy thank you for signing up the patriots on. Not only do you get access to all ex. Jio's you get your own little ballot to say. Thank you and i'm going to do it in the style of eighties rock.

The Beauty Queen Killer Christopher Wilder

Serial Killers

The Beauty Queen Killer Christopher Wilder

"We often imagined monsters lurking in the darkness waiting for the perfect time to strike but the worst monsters the real monsters walk amongst us in the light of day nowhere is truly safe not a brightly lit shopping mall or even a crowded racetrack and real monsters will use your own ambitions against you with friendly grins and empty promises. The lure you win by you everything. You've always wanted fame fortune a modeling career. And just when you think you're going to get it they'll take everything from you including your life. One of those monsters was christopher bernard wilder born during world war two in sydney australia while just first moments were traumatic. During the delivery wilder struggled to breathe and doctors feared that he would die. A priest was rushed into the room to read wilder. His last rites miraculously after being crate over the baby's vital signs began to improve before long wilder was in clear. Of course wilder doesn't remember his first brush with death but he did claim to remember the second. When wilder was two years old he nearly drowned. Some accounts say that he fell into a pool others that he was at the beach either way the incident had lasting effects on wildfires. Hell he suffered from convulsions. And fainting spells for the next years. The convulsions were painful and arguably affected wilders mental health. These were his formative years. He wanted to be strong like his father. Who was a war hero. But growing up sick made him feel less and week. He couldn't wait to grow up and be a strong adult but as he started to. These fantasies evolved into something darker. He didn't just want to be strong. He wanted to be powerful. And perhaps in wilders young mind he associated power with dominance. because in these new fantasies wild. You're pictured himself hurting people. Despite these disturbing thoughts. Wilders childhood was actually a pleasant one his parents. Us naval officer and an australian woman were in a healthy relationship and provided wilder a stable middle class life in sydney. He was an average student to attended. Good schools held dual citizenship in both america and australia but instead of using these privileges to better himself wilder became spoiled and entitled in his early teens. Wilder reportedly avoided his responsibilities at home and at school spending most of his time hanging out with friends and drinking on the beach while there was a popular presence. They're no longer considered sickly. He started surfing and developed an athletic build. Girls took notice and as his confidence grew. He learned how to be charming. And funny the outside wild your head succeeded in becoming the strong person he had always wanted to be but inside. He was still harbouring. Dark thoughts and fantasies of dominance became more sexualize te. He'd noticed the girls at the beach but instead of imagining taking them on a date he fantasized about raping them. Vanessa's take over on the psychology here and throughout the episode as a note. Vanessa is not a licensed psychologist psychiatrist but she has done a lot of research for this. Show thanks greg wilders. Worrying fantasies about sexual violence were early indicators of his later killings criminology professor dr scott bond states that serial killers program themselves in childhood to become murderers through progressively intensifying loop of fantasy that means that the more wilder fantasized about sexual acts. The more he normalized them and once those violent sexual fantasies felt natural to him. He imagined increasingly escalating violence. Potential serial killers can go through this cycle for years before ever attacking their first victim. Although wilders loop had just begun he was already having difficulty keeping his burgeoning sexual urges in check so he started acting on them in the early nineteen sixties when wilder was eighteen or sixteen years old. He started sneaking out of the house but wilder wasn't meeting up with friends or taking joy rides. He was prowling suburban neighborhood in search of attractive women and when he found one likely and other teenager wilder would follow her home and wait he would watch them through their windows hoping to catch a glimpse of them naked one night a concerned neighbor spotted while dir and called the police but when the authorities arrived they lent wild. You're go with only a warning. The lack of punishment proved wilder. That there was nothing wrong with what he was doing so he started imagining what else he could get away with

Interview With Dan Westergren

"I was recently exchanging emails with today's guest. A bad he's premium membership and it turns out he has a love of sauk cling lock. Do he used to rice and he even spent time in south australia from the us. I while on assignment for white for national geographic now is picked up and i poked a few more questions by any told me on the nat geo and commercial travel photographer stock at home trying to decide how to make money with that getting on an airplane right now putting my towards commercial real estate architectural things but honestly don't know what's going to work out a cape listening to the podcast about facebook marketing for portraits etc thinking. Maybe that's the way to go. We exchange and other email to and i post a few questions and he said for more than twenty years. I was director of photography for national geographic. Travel up magazine. I had an editor who let me find the graph. A couple of stories a year usually adventure top stories and i was lucky enough to photograph stories to the magazine. Such as climbing mont blanc the matterhorn and skiing to the north pole now following that exchange. I invited him on for this recording. I'm talking about dan west to grin and i'm wrapped to having this now. Dan welcome andrew so good to talk to you. Do you still pinch yourself when you hear an intra liked about the things that you've done in the past. I do i do. It's it's kind of funny. It's a hard act. Live up to for many many years. I would tell my photographer friends who seemed to have up and down lives. You know the freelance yoyo. And i would joke to them. Well you know. I'm addicted to my paycheck. And i have the chance to send you guys out into the field my editor lets me go out every now and then you know. This is working pretty well. Well you know the media marketplace changes and so now here. I am not working on the staff at national geographic anymore doing some projects for them but just trying to figure out how to make this thing happen as a photographer. Yeah the tables have really turned. I think not only for youtha for all of us. Haven't i this year. Oh yeah yeah. I mean and it's a double whammy with a travel photographer because i don't even of course you can imagine after all those years. I have this huge rolodex of all these photo editors of magazines and things like this but nobody even pays money for magazines to take pictures anymore. It's like the rug was pulled out from under my profession. The one savior for me. The last few years has been you could either call it native advertising or content marketing or partnership projects. That's the kind of things like last year. I got to go to canada. Three times for national geographic. To do ten day long stories about places and so i did prince edward island nova scotia new brunswick last year and british columbia and those were my favorite Trips to take. Because i will talk to my producer at national geographic since i had a background in doing the photo editing. At national geographic. The photo editors really acted like a regular editor at most magazines. If we thought that a story was not sufficiently visual we would tell people. We didn't think we should do the story. And a lot of magazines. The phone will editors are just kind of in their corner in somebody throws them a manuscript is air pictures to go with this so when they tell me okay we wanna to do an online piece about adventures in new brunswick ten adventures in new brunswick will then i get to study new brunswick i pull out a map i get defined tended ventures. I contact all the people that i think might lead me to those adventures and then make pictures that i hope people find interesting and then when we get back in my case usually i sit down and they know that i've chosen the photo subjects with story line and so they don't even send a writer. They have a friend of mine. Who i get on the phone marielle. And is her name. And she sorta ghosts rights for me. And i just tell her what my experience was like and why i went to particular plex. And that's just that's what i love about. It all is to do the research into a place and then actually go take those pictures myself in sounds amazing and said the way you described this right now the role you had. Oh have you familiar with the movie. The secret life of walter. Mitty of course. Yes you the walter. Meeting is at your role in national geographic traveler. It was a little bit different because he was more had a role that we would call film review which were the people that actually got to look at the pictures. I didn't have a big role in putting the magazine together. So you know that was kind of funny. It was interesting that i love that movie. You know he got to go out into the field. And i've just i've seen that movie so many times i was watching it and my kids. My son is twenty two. My daughter's twenty five and they're really into music and david bowie died. We had to listen to all the versions of space. Oddity that we could find.

Keith Morrison reads Dr. Seuss How The Grinch Stole Christmas

"How the grinch stole christmas by dr seuss. Every who down in whoville light. Christmas a lot but the grinch live just north of veal did not the grinch hated christmas whole christmas season. Please don't ask why no one quite knows. The reason it could be as head wasn't screwed on just right it could be. Perhaps his shoes are too tight. But i think that the most likely reason of all may have been that. His heart was two sizes too small. Whatever the reason is hard or shoes. He stood there on christmas eve. Hating the who's staring down from his cave with a sour grinchey frown. The warm lighted windows below on the town for he knew every who down in whoville beneath was busy now hanging mistletoe wreath and they're hanging stockings. E snarled with a sneer. Tomorrow is christmas it practically here. Then he growled with his grinch figures nervously drumming. I must find some way to stop christmas from a main for tomorrow. He knew all the who girls and boys would wake brighton early. They'd rush for their toys and then whole the noise show the noise. Doi's noise noise. That's one thing. He hated the noise. Noise noise noise. Then the who's young and old would sit down to a feast. And they feast on they feast and they feast. Feast feast feast. They would feast on who pudding and rare who rose beast which was something that grinch couldn't stand in the least and then they do something he liked. Leashed all every who down in whoville. Viola Davis and Chadwick Boseman star in 'Ma Rainey'

"The enter chadwick. Boseman died of cancer in august at the age of forty three not long after he finished shooting the movie mall. Rainey's black bottom now streaming on netflix. The movie stars viola. Davis is the famous blue singer mall rainy and was adapted from august. Wilson's play our film critic. Justin chang says that boseman's final screen performance ranks among his very best. One reason chadwick boseman was such. An extraordinary actor was his ability to command the screen without hogging the spotlight. His presence was so quietly magnetic that even when he played real life. Heroes like jackie robinson and thurgood marshall or fictional ones like king to challa in black panther. He still seemed like the most self effacing of movie stars but boseman could also go big like when he took on james brown in the musical bio-pic get on up and gave his most electrifying performance. Until now it's devastating. That ma rainey's black bottom is the last new. Boseman movie will ever see this. Excellent adaptation of august wilson's nineteen eighty to play from the director george c wolfe and the screenwriter ruben. Santiago hudson is both a precious parting gift and a punch in the gut even more than get on up. Boseman holds nothing back. He emptied himself out onscreen. He plays levy a gifted and ambitious trumpet player struggling to forge his way in a white man's world or this case a white man's recording studio where most of the movie takes place. It's a sweltering hot day in nineteen twenty seven chicago in the pioneering southern blues singer ma rainey played by a superb viola. Davis is planning to record some of her most popular songs. Mas name may be in the place title. But she isn't the main narrative focus here much of the story unfolds while the four musicians in her band are waiting for her to show up at the studio. During the rehearsal session cutler the guitar and trombone player played by colman. Domingo wants to stick with their usual arrangement for a particular song but levy wants to use a new edgier version that he composed. It doesn't take long for the arguments to start and the egos to emerge. How's your name in. So i just played a piece whatever they want them. Criticizing the people's music like you. I got talent. Oh man is we tagged. My dad had a note. I was gonna turn out like the name mccabe. I'm going to give me a bad and make some shots. I don't give them instead of my. I wrote and he say going to let me record when i get my band together. I just got last part of song. I got stopped or everybody gets out there. And other keeping the same idea from the beginning in everybody got a game plan for all his outward swagger boseman later lays bare. The anguish beneath levies self-assured grin in a spellbinding monologue about his southern childhood. He reveals the acts of violence that were committed against his family by a gang of white men he's witnessed unspeakable horrors and fought hard for his shot at success. And he's not about to let anyone stand in his way not even marini herself when she finally shows up at the studio via davis who won an oscar for her work. In another wilson. Adaptation fences is magnificent. Here in the kind of full throated diva showcase. She's rarely taken on becoming more rainy. Required quite the transformation davis wears a padded rubber suit and sports. A mouthful of gold teeth and her vocals are supplied by the singer. Maxine lewis but the performance never feels needlessly. Flashy and davis is best moments are the ones in which she shows us. Ma rainey's anxious calculating side when she stops the recording session because no one's brought her the bottle of coke she always insists on before singing. She isn't just causing a fuss. Exactly what she's worth and how much power she commands in a predominantly white male industry and she's determined to push yourself right up to that line without crossing it marines. Black bottom is one of ten plays in august. Wilson's epic pittsburgh cycle and the only one that isn't actually set in pittsburgh wilson's insights into the complexities of twentieth century. African american experience cemented his reputation as one of this country's greatest dramatists. The filmmakers haven't opened up the material in the manner of so many stage to screen adaptations if anything they've ruthlessly tightened the play and paired it down to essentials wolf directs at a furious clip. The sets are spare even drab which has the effect of your concentration on the performances and while boseman and davis are the stars of the show. Every actor gets a chance to shine including michael potts as the bass player. Slow drag and glenn termine reprising his role as the pianist toledo from twenty sixteen revival at the heart of the play is the bond between levy a fictional creation and rainy. A real life figure. The two are antagonistic by nature levy keeps trying to put his own stamp on mas music and he makes the mistake of trying to seduce. Her young girlfriend played by taylor. Page but levy and ma are also kindred spirits. They're both trying to make authentic commercially viable art with an assistant bent on exploiting their talents but levy doesn't have martinis experience or her knack for self preservation and the weight of his past trauma ultimately proves too much to overcome the climax is hunting beyond words were seeing a man peering into an abyss played by an actor who knew his own life was slipping away chadwick. You know how they shape who we are and how they guide the choices made and the life that we've created in the work that we do as also in related when you think about so you're archetypes tell us about your archetypes are a little bit about how that shaped your life from a personal story perspective. "He was grinning when he came back, boy. I wish I had Tony screwdriver. There's a perfect seed in their brand new Just the right size. We can't steal a toilet seat. Hang on, Marie. I was just joking. Maybe you were joking. Maybe you weren't. What about that bottle of steak sauce? All that he blushed. I've never seen that brand before. The waiter brought our cappuccino. You go suck the foam off the top of his and acquired a white moustache. The cafe was filling up to older American couples were trying to settle at the next table. But there were only three chairs. Excuse me, One of the men said, Are you using that chair? Oh, no Sorry, Hugo said removing the newspaper bundles were not Please take it. Older man smiled. He put his hand on the back of the chair and looked at us. Bet you two are on your honeymoon, aren't you? That's just great. He nodded at one of the women behind him, either the one with the shiny cheeks and brassy hair or the one with gray bangs and a silk scarf. It was hard to tell Joyce and I came here on our honeymoon 30 years ago, and here we are now. The lucky place. Venice she go not. It's going to be lucky for us, too. Have a great life, the man said, is he scraped the chair back to join the others? Hugo looked at me grinning. Hey, he whispered. What do you call this anyway? Being in Venice before your wedding? A shrug. I don't know. Why in such a bad mood, Marie, I'm not in a bad mood. Marie Marie hold on tight. I wish you wouldn't quote that all the time You started it. You quoted it to me. Well, you can't forget a line of poetry with your own name in it, especially when it's the wasteland. I flipped, open my notebook and showed him an address here. We've got one more place to try a plumbing supply store. We got up and we're halfway across the square. When the waiter called us back, we'd forgotten our package wrapped in newspaper, Hugo thanked him and stuck it under his arm. Across the academia Bridge. Lots of people were hanging over the side. Looking at the view where the Grand Canal opens towards the salute. The church clouds were piled up in the sky, but any storm was still in the offing. A crowd of huge young men, men even bigger than Hugo came striding toward us. There were giants with Burley chests and seemed to be in some kind of team because they were all wearing identical orange T shirts with blue lanyards. We moved out of their way that one of them thrust a flyer into my hand and unearthly hum began to rise. They began to sing Shannon DOA. It was a song that always made my neck prickles, although I'd never seen the Shenandoah River or the Shenandoah Valley and had no idea why it should cause me so much emotion. The words of the song rose up loud and strong, filling the street, triggering astonished and joyful looks from passersby as the young men strode along like a company of angels. Crowd parted before them. People applauded. Hugo and I stood there listening until they had crossed the bridge. Hugo said. That was beautiful. I looked at the Flyer, the Indiana Wesleyan men's choir. They're seeing tonight at 7 p.m. It's and Jobe. That was amazing. Just amazing. Hugo look yearning Lee in the direction of the young men. I wish they'd just walk around the streets singing like that all the time. You know, I was in a course for two years in high school. Did I ever tell you this? We used to take a bus around the state to these small towns and sing in school Auditorium's sometimes they put us up over night in dorms. Is okay. I sort of like doing it, but it never meant anything much. Then I remember one night after a performance. I was all head up in restless for some reason, and I walked down a path to a little river. Or maybe it was just a creek and I stood there on the bank feeling really strange like I was full of something that was going to burst in my chest and for the first time I listened. Really listened to what was out there in the dark. First I'd hear the cicadas. Then they'd stop. And then the tree frogs would start in and then the lightning bugs with dance around as if they were trying to write the tune, And it struck me that when I was standing with the other guys on the bleachers, singing Canada was one of our songs. That we were just doing the same thing as these bugs and frogs. These creatures were expressing my feelings for me. They were manifestations. You might call it Of my feelings. And me and the other guys on stage. We were expressing the feelings of the people sitting out there in the folding chairs. That's why they always got these happy dreaming expressions on their face when they listen to us. That's what I felt just now. You go side. He looked a little bewildered after his speech. So Why didn't you pursue a career in music? He looked at me oddly. It has nothing to do with the career. We heard a rumble of thunder just then. Hey, Marie, Why don't you go back to the apartment? The store we're looking for is up near the railroad station. That's quite a ways. No, I'm coming with you. I said I knew if I went back, I just pace around wondering what I should do. Tell Hugo I didn't want to get married and get it over with. Just let things drift for a while the way they were drifting now. Well, let's at least take a boat. We stood in line at the ticket booth and you go paid for two tickets, and we got behind the crowd jostling against the chain is the noisy vaporetto bumped against the floating dock. People pressed forward Hugo touched my shoulder. Go ahead and get on. Marie. I forgot the toilet seat. It's over there, leaning against the booth. Forget it. I said that Hugo was gone, pushing backwards through a group of Chinese tourists and bright rain jackets. I climbed on board. But although I was shoved this way, and that I managed to stay near the rail, I spotted Hugo He had the newspaper wrapped package under his arm and was running back toward the floating dock. But the boatman locked the chain and then jumped on board. The boat split away from the dock. Wait, Wait! I screamed, Let him on. The boatmen could not possibly have heard me over the noise. I weighed frantically at Hugo. Where should I get off? I screamed. We waved his free arm and pointed up the Grand canal and shouted something, but I couldn't hear him. The boat was out in the middle of the canal now. It was another clap of thunder, and it began to rain. Everyone onboard shriek and pushed back from the edge. I glimpse to go ducking away down the street and then he was gone from my sight. People who've had their cameras out. We're wiping the lenses and stowing their gear. I got off at the railway station. Hugo had said that the plumbing supply store was near there. I had the address in my notebook, but I lacked a map. Hugo probably remember the address and was on his way up there. But maybe he didn't remember the address. Maybe he just got back to the apartment was waiting for me. Our cell phones didn't work in Europe, so we hadn't bought them and there was no way I could call him unless I got a phone card and located a phone and call the apartment. Luckily, I had my little red umbrella, but it was raining hard and my feet were soaked. Nonetheless, I did my best to get where we've been going. I showed the address to the plumbing supply store to a woman in a clothing store, and she pointed to the right but I couldn't find the street a waiter in a cafe pointing me to the left. Still, no luck. Finally I decided to go back to the apartment. Hugo must have been waiting for me and I didn't want him to worry. But when I got back there were no wet shoes sitting outside the door on the landing and the sisal Matt was dry. There's no damn jacket hanging on the pegboard in the hall. I left my umbrella open on the landing, took off my own soak shoes and left them on the mat, hung my socks on the bathroom radiator and made a cup of tea in the kitchen. When I carried the tea to the living room, I saw that the window had blown open in the storm, and my pot of basil was on the floor. I sent my t down and scooped up the dirt and repacked it around the basil roots. I close the window and swept the floor. Then I sat down with my cup of tea toe. Wait. 20 minutes went by. In an hour. I looked at the phone There were a lot of English books that other renters had left in the apartment over the years, and I picked a novel up and tried to read it, But I kept jumping at every noise and couldn't get interested. The outer door banged open downstairs several times, but the footsteps always continued up the other landings. I was getting worried. I paced into the bedroom and looked at the king size bed still unmade. From the morning he goes, pillow was wadded indented in the sheets on his side were twisted A few hard Candies with.

"You may want to Google this because I'm not clear what he intended. I've found some interesting images when I did parts of the lamps may look like UFO's Bob. We'll have our website as well. Definitely probably one of the most curious statements. Dro- Burger made about his meeting with cold was and then cold said to me. We will see you again then. His voice trails off police chief Ed plum as do you really believe you will see him again. Darren Burger then answered. I think so I believe he will. I don't know because that's what I'm afraid of. I would be terrified. Yeah I would never leave my house again but I mean just come to your house. Yeah you're right might as well just continue your regular day to day living and even think about that you're right and anyways after the interview daring burgers live transformed drastically and not for the better. I might add. He changed jobs development. Marital problems clung to his church for Awhile and then came. The strange visits for men dressed in black clothing. Whom durenberger suspected to be some kind of hidden government group of spies or maybe even the Mafia. He wasn't sure they just spooked him. They would arrive at his house. At least this is what would your durnberger claimed. He said that cold visited him many times at his farmhouse and Mineral Wells. At one point. Darren Burger came up missing for almost six months and said he was with the aliens. The local population finally became skeptical. The sewing machine salesman's tale grew more and more far fetched Daring Burger even claim to have been impregnated by the aliens and nineteen. Sixty seven Woodrow Daring Burger stated to have visited injured colds home planet of Eleni Los where its residents walked round wearing no clothing. She said the aliens lived in a galaxy called Guinea mead where everything was peaceful and there were no wars people again to obviously make fun of them after that. Yeah. I'm not surprised. This sounds like a total show. Yeah it does sound farfetched. But he says it's happened but then I'm also like where did he go for six months? You don't just disappear for six months. Someone had to have seen him if he wasn't with the alien. Exactly where did he go question? Still there were awed flashing lights in the sky. Almost nightly in the curiosity seekers stocked. Not only Darren burgers modest farmhouse but an area called boggled ridge not far from mineral wells. Where the aliens were claimed to land the ridicule became too much Darren Burger with. His family moved from the area and stayed away for decades. He returned to Wood County in the nineteen eighties and he died. Nineteen Ninety Woodrow Durenberger was finally laid to rest at Mount Zion Cemetery in Mineral Wells West Virginia and with him the truth of the story so bizarre and interesting. I know I love this one. Nobody else I just have so many questions. Who's the grinning man? Who is it anyway android cold? Yeah Weird name. It is strange but I kinda like it. Yeah but like is he still alive. How Long Do Aliens Live? I know these are my questions. I have lots of questions. Yeah and there's really no way to prove or disprove any of it right. I love it. "I don't eat it. I mean it's a it's a name solid there you go okay. So moving on Darren. Burger went on to explain that the reason he had a role his window down was because injured cold. Wanted to look directly at him as they spoke and he felt. That really cold wasn't so interested in what was said but more interested in keeping up a communication with him who interesting too daring Burger. That seemed the entire point of it all. He also noted that when cold stared into his eyes. It was as if he knew everything about. Woodrow Darren Burger. And also if he could only let go of his spear and the Sane he felt he would also know and understand all about cold and any of in cold spoke through the passenger side window the entire time but did he actually speak or was it through mental telepathy from what I could tell. It was mental telepathy but they never like clarify clarified. That interesting yeah. The physical description of cold was fairly common. Darren Burger described him as about thirty five years of age. Having a trim build was about six feet tall hundred eighty five pounds with dark eyes and dark hair slicked straight back cold or a long dark coat and beneath decaux. Woodrow Darren. Burger was able to glance the fabric of his uniform that glistened beneath the coat. He also described cold as having a tanned complexion throughout the conversation. Cold kept of frozen smile and curiously hit his hands beneath his armpits. Most of the time. That's a strange way to stand like this. Like crossed arms and chest not house. Nobody does yeah cross starved. Clear thing they do nobody. Does that care? I'm assuming it was cross armed. If I'm being honest him also by the way. What year is this? This is going down in one thousand nine hundred fifty six K. Yeah so not too far a little far back right. Coal did however point at the city lights above the distant hills of Parkersburg and asked Mr Darren Burger. What do you call that over? There Dare Burger applied with why that's Parkersburg and we'd call city cold than responded with where I come from. We call it a gathering. Cold later added the curious statement that I come from a place less powerful in yours as the men talked. Cars passed under the craft which drifted above the road the occupants were seemingly unaware of the spaceship being there. After all there were no lights that could be seen cold then asked about Parkersburg. Do People live there or do they work their daring burger then replied? Yes people live and work there. Two inch cold interjected. Mr Darren Burger by this point. Obviously Woodrow had told cold his name. So now you go make sense. Darren birger answered. I am salesman. That's what I do. Do you have a job? Which cold answered yes. I am a surger. I wonder would that mean? I have no clue but I don't like it. After that conversation became mundane cold seemed to notice that woodrow was scared and commented on their merger. Claimed that cold asked him. Why are you so frightened? Don't be afraid we mean you no harm. You'll see that we eighteen bleed the same as you. We only wish you happiness which cold said to the frightened man more than once. That's not question. Don't be suspicious bracket. Ooh I love chills. I know right while Mr Darren Burger was being interviewed on live television on WTA TV. He attributed this puzzling statement injured cold at the proper time the authorities will be notified about our meeting and this will be confirmed. The entire conversation took between five and ten minutes and then android cold looked inside what he's car with his ever-present. Smile and said Mr Darren Burger. I thank you for talking to me. We'll see you again but like win. We'll get to that I said he ended the conversation with we will see and as soon as he did. The spaceship immediately came back down floated about ten inches off the road. A hatch opened a human arm extended pooling cold up into the craft. The ship then jetted up into the air about seventy five feet made a fluttering noise and then shot away at a very high rate of speed for a few moments. Woodrow Derna Burgers sat stunned. Finally he started up his car and drove to his farmhouse in mineral wells where his wife met him at the door by now it was shortly before seven o'clock so about a forty five minute timespan altogether yes. I wonder how long his drive usually takes. Honestly that's a really good question and I didn't think to look it up. I mean obviously it must take not. That long. Wouldn't be meeting him at the door. Yeah I'm assuming concerned. Yeah Interesting Mrs Darren. Burger later. Said that woodrow could not have been any wider. If he had been lying in a coffin. The stories vary but for Mr Darren burgers account. His wife is the one who called West Virginia State. Police or at least she dialed the phone. Woodrow gave them a brief report of what he claimed to have happened. It's interesting to note that in the initial report Darren Burger called the alien cold but did not mention android until later. Well I'm sure he was just still in shock. I mean I would have been. I'm surprised even remember the name. I know that. So many details. Yeah something happened with an alien to assign exactly honestly just take me anyways so the next day dear merger attempted to go back to work but was sidetracked when he agreed to a live television interview about his experience on the previous night with a UFO. With W T A P T the NBC affiliate in Parkersburg housed in a small building. Not much bigger than a garage. The interview took place shortly before noon. Where Woodrow Darren? Burger was grilled by a veteran reporter. Glenn Wilson and the city police chief Ed plum as well as other local law enforcement including the head of the Wood County airport spy not tells like a real grilling the representatives from Wright Patterson were in route to interview Darren Burger but whether that came about is not noon. The interview went on for about two and a half hours. The live part of the broadcast was under an hour. Long and then the television cameras were turned off and the interview continued off the air for another hour or so during that. Time during Burger drew a picture of the space craft which he described in his thick West Virginia accent as a charcoal grey when no lights and looking like.

"It all starts with woodrow. Darren Burger but everyone called him. What he it was shortly after six. Pm in the evening. When Woody Darren Burger was driving home from his job as a sewing machine salesman at JC? Penney's in Marietta Ohio. To his farmhouse in Mineral Wells West Virginia. The ride home was overcast and dreary. It was missing a light rain as Darren Burger. Came upon the intersection of I. Seventy seven and route forty seven. He thought that a tractor trailer truck was tailgating him without its lights on which was a little unnerving so he swerved to the side of the road and much to his surprise. The trump appeared to take flight and seemed to roll across his panel truck to astonishment what Durenberger thought was a truck was a charcoal colored. You Evo- without any lights on. What a story. My favorite it touchdown and then hovered about ten inches above the berm of the road. Much Burger surprise a hatch opened in a man stepped out looking like quote any ordinary man. You would see on the street. There was nothing unusual about his appearance in quote. Oh my goodness I love those except the man was dressed in dark clothing and had a beaming smile which I can only imagine was the creepiest thing in the world. Oh my goodness no kidding in the middle of nowhere just yeah. I love the scene. As the man proceeded to walk toward during burgers panel truck the craft jetted up to about forty feet in the air where floated above the highway. What happened next was unsettling to say the least because as the darkly dressed man came up toward the vehicle. Woody Darren Burger heard the words. Do not be afraid. I mean you know harm. I only want to ask you a few questions now. That's not the scary part. The scary part is the man's lips did not move. No then man moved to the opposite side of the truck until Darren Burger to roll down his window so they could talk better what she did. No Yup Yup First Line of Defense Abilene auto all the way up. You're correct no cracks. No nothing no next. What formed and Darren Burgers Mind? Were the words. Now you can speak or you can think it makes no difference. I can understand you either way. This is what the dark man said again not moving his lips. Oh my goodness no. Sounds like a sci fi novel oh I hate it but I also also I love it. I'll eat it up later. When durenberger was questioned on local live television. He was scrutinized over. What seemed a contradiction because of the dark man was communicating through some type of mental telepathy. Why would he need to roll down his window to talk? I mean I kind of get that but I could also see this alien life form wanting to seem appear more human so as not to freak him out. Yeah you know so I could make sense to me. That's like alien logic Yam right. I also see and this is like probably not at all logical in any way shape before I'm also see like the Wendo messing with the telepathy in someway easier as there's not a barrier between them that makes sense to so both great theories who knows. I don't know what do I mean clearly. We're academics Alien Galler Element for sure. Also just a point now. I am just now realizing I didn't say this earlier But the man that came out of the ufo told woodrow that his name is injured in cold. What an interesting bizarre name. Yeah. I don't know.

"That as a solid goal of your it's a great way eight to get to what you're out and all that stuff but it feels like it is on the path to the energetic feeling of having an sandwich named after every i i like i started. I was laughing. Thank saying it and i get those kind of laughed year things in your eyes kind of because there's an emotional evocative to that that is that is just undeniable and so so i love thinking of love i wish i could pause and have people call in and tug on the goals the things that you set your sights on right now how where do they fall on the grid indicator peter where do they fall in the grin decatur so one of the things and we've obviously spoken a lot about public speaking class and i liked doing the public speaking class sneddon at tulsa and i liked their presentation and all that stuff but when there's a letter written by a parent of a kid that goes to the department saying what that person can do now because because they have this confidence wherever that thought is what makes me really grin when i when i think about this one person teaching the course is fun right. No no no. I totally get. I've seen this energetic shifting you like. I know you like teaching the course but it doesn't make you grin or light up when you get like the same way as when you get an email from a student or like this is how this matter and i don't mean emails like gosh. You're amazing. No really it's had an impact yes. It's the impact and the specific. I i ran for student government and i had to stand i wouldn't i wouldn't have done that. That's the grin because it's kind of like having a sandwich named anna like having a sandwich. I love that so that's our story. The discussion doesn't have to end here does not want it to <music>. "<hes> as transforming from what i have to get to do you know and so i've been thinking ever since my conversation within the guy historian is his name is scott wind trip and he's just a great h._r. Consultant and he doesn't do the executive active coaching wrote a book called high-velocity. Hiring is really good but ever since by conversation with him. I've been thinking well what what are the big grin goals because it puts it in a different category. It's not just as you said hit a new revenue mark for twenty twenty or you know whatever might be enough for me but open up the second office or something and what qualifies yet <hes> yeah yeah exactly. I'm you've really got me my head like thinking about that distinction because because here's the funny thing i'm noticing everything i can think of for myself. That feels like a big grin. Goal comes with a certain amount of time not blathering got like ten of them like a tiny bit of almost. I don't know if it's vulnerability or sometimes it's almost like like a shame is far too big of a word but like it'd be like oh. I can't say that i would like that. That sounds really that sounds really egotistical or that sounds really fill in the blank with something. That's a little bit like he that you want that thing but that really does take you to a different kind of excitement and motivation and lots of things. It held so one of my go. I've been trying trying to figure out. Is this the right category so one of my things is. I want to do more public speaking. I love public speaking but that's not the big goal for me. What comes closer is is. I wanna do a a great tech's <hes> in the right forum that you know because there are tax all over but i want to give a topic that i'm really it passionate about at tech's that that gets exposure. I think that's cool now on the other side the non-professional i wanna have a sandwich named after me yes i do. I wanna go into some shops somewhere go. I'll have the elliott and i don't want it to be said workout and hard boiled eggs something. I'd never only to be something that i really. Here's so here's here's my curiosity. I suspect because the tax thing. I totally get that that's a big goal but but i don't even i'm not even so sure that that is exactly the big go. I think that that the sandwich and the thing that's underneath of having the tedtalk are actually the same thing is the great. I think there's something about and this is why i can talk about it for you but i i was saying like these are the things that feel a little bit vulnerable to name might the things i think there's there's something about being known for a thing like being being acknowledged or seen or known or recognized. There's a there's that vibe bat it but you don't wanna just any old way. I mean sandwiches affair with a specific. Here's the difference okay so in the past in those past whatever it was ninety seconds. I gave you two things. It's talked about the tax and it's like yeah. I really wanna do this but it was only with the sandwich we started. We lit up eleven and that's why like metaphorically i think even with the tedtalk you want sandwich metaphorically. It's like having a sandwich sandwich named after you know but that is the thing and so just honestly this is one of the times i really wish we were videotaping and not because as i'm making some weird hand gesture that needs to be seen but because if you could have watched the energy of the space that you were talking about the tedtalk and i was listening and my brain was following along but i didn't don't feel it you start talking about..

"You know it's like a mutual break-up. It never happened. Surveys surveys always upset but it did and he said that we worked together once we decided okay we got over any skepticism. We said okay. If that's your a big grin goal that's and they meticulously planned and he said an end. They celebrated the divorce with its huge party. The husband had bar now. The exit bought in everybody was happy. It was just a big thing and everybody had something to celebrate in terms of this transition as opposed rose to one leaving the other behind and there's this and it just struck me as a great example an unexpected example of you've how you can think about not just a goal but something that's a big grin goal here because because here's the interesting thing about that i think i suspect i have no idea but i i suspect if you had framed it in any other way like something that would make you happy or or some big goal. It feels kinda gross to say like oh my big audacious. Asia's goal is to get divorced. I dunno if something falls out of alignment with it because there's not to get all silly nuanced about the word grin by there is such a distinction between gene grin is very different from smile. It's very different from something that lights you up which i hear people say all the time something that gives you energy like there's a lot of coaching the language that orbits what he has like centered in on but it lacks the energetic vibe that grin does because there's something about a great human as i say i like it all grin grins make your eyes light up to because grin has like this layer of delight to it and like an almost an an a layer of hope for something something that's more than just possible and i think delight is the right word i mean. I may say it would make me really happy to get my executive m._b._a. Checker whatever ever grin yep no. That's not the same thing right right. No no it is and i'm thinking through those distinctions like twenty of them. Were hitting my brain like things that light you up. I have always had this issue with goal setting <hes> and i think you and i are very similar this way. There are a number of years. I set like revenue goals for my business and i would promptly frankly. Just forget about them like they just they. They did not lay a spark in me. I can set a number on a piece of paper. I can even thank ooh. What would i be able to do if i had that number. Hang it still just doesn't inspire me to do anything differently at a track anything differently. I just it doesn't light a fire in me and if you hit that goal you may feel satisfied out of yourself now. It's not a grin thing no no not however there was a one year where i really really wanted to the things that i wanna build and when i noticed that when i put it in terms of the thing like oh my family could go do this thing or then i'd be able to do this but then i actually get a little bit more motivated by but finding that thing that gives you the grins it reminds me of some language i used to use years ago was when something something is so compelling that it has a magnetic quality then it's not about setting some goal and then doing the hard work to get there. It's when it has magnetic medic quality. It's like pulling you towards the hard. Work feels more worth it and more so tiny that reminds me of that discipline quote like discipline is remembering remembering what you want. It's like when you when you are when you weren't good energetically tied to a thing that you want especially with that delightful grin kind of thing the hard worked takes on a totally different flavor shifts it from something like you have to do or need to do or should do into like this is an effort that i am willing to do because i want. This other thinks so badly the transformation. I always think about it..

"<music> i wanna have a sandwich named after me. I wanna go yes i do. I wanna go into some shops somewhere. Go i'll have the elliott elliot business messy and unpredictable sometimes lonely so low and inspiration can often come from really weird the places we pick up the bullet point blogs and highlight reels leave off and we start with stories <music>. Welcome back to so here's my story. I'm jody and you are definitely gonna want to stick around today this. This is actually quite possibly one of my favorite episodes yeah. Just the energy of it just felt felt really good. Elliott elliott tells a story about a friend of his who's a coach and we get into something that has to do with goals but that has to do with grins how how grins affect goals so we're very quickly before we jump into that. If you are liking this podcast please tell a friend share it. Put it somewhere where other people will see it. I just spent a week at podcast movement and i have a lot of ideas of things we're going to be doing no not but the thing that most landed for me was how much i enjoy getting to have the conversations stations that i have with people that otherwise would not have the opportunity to and so i want more of that too and oh and our birthday just yes. Our birthday are technically okay. We are recording this week. This will come out next tuesday which i think will be like the third or fourth something like that third so our birthday elliott and i share birthday september first the so maybe this week will go do something far birthday since we totally messed up doing the buying that we will yes. We will do something forever thing. Hey let's hop into the story hunker so here's my story and as with some other episodes. It's not not really my story. Maybe we just now. Don't even have to say that the story sorry. Here's a story. One of my friends used to be a coach coach in another life and he was talking about how he started the transformation of his thinking in terms of working with clients with goals because everybody he has goals and what's your vision what's your big hairy goal and different different expressions of what that should be and he decided that that the golden mean anything unless it really made you happy which seems kind of cliche but i liked the way he phrased it because he started putting on these <hes> workshops looking for big grin goals. That's what he called them in a big grin goals like instantly grinning. There's also makes you happy but that wasn't the thing that really got significant but but but but not interrupt your story but i'm gonna there's a there's there's a huge difference between big grin goals and goals that make you happy the the happy one for some reason whatever reason i was like maher mar a big grin goals. I instantly grand. I physically feel it and that that really was his point. It wasn't just well. What would you like to do but what would make you extent. I mean it's it's really kind of ecstatic. Screen is very very very niche specific. It is but what he would really got me and the reason why i wanted to bring this up potatoes because he started deciding that the measuring tool for his client it was what he called a grin decatur and i love omega indicator indicate so he told he told this for example he was working with a group of people and he said well what they will set it up. The explained what a big grin goal was and the grin decatur and all this other stuff and he got to this one and he was going around this group and they had to come with their goal. What would make them really happy just but a big grin put the big grin on their face and this one woman stood up when it was returned and she said i want.
