"They connected with the air spirit guides and then a new door opened up which was wisely sleet more abundant and more full of potential and work. The icy warned compared to what they are. Yeah well I can talk about how I shifted. My career are from just doing one on one in into this international playground that I'm playing in now and I was feeling some of the tension and I didn't understand in because I loved my career and I loved what I was doing but I could feel the smallness of It's almost like I was like bigger than this room that I was sitting in but I didn't know what it was. So I got the The guidance they spirits that you know my intuition was it's time to let go of his office and at the time why that would be good idea. 'cause it's funding my family like you know and it was close to Christmas time and all this stuff I like it. What are you talking about? Am I need this job here. And they They gave me the inspiration. I didn't thinking about it for a while. They gave me the inspiration of doing my first online experience and going more Internet reaching out internationally. So I did not have the capacity to see what was about to happen it. But it's incredible amount of faith and trust in my own intuition and in life itself itself to know that if I let go of that office would be okay and that's what I did. I let go the office Angela within months I I can't even tell you what being out of knuckle walking through desk. Yes but it was pure magic. Your magic what happened. All of a sudden they had their site they brought someone randomly calls me. I don't even know this person and says hey you need an office right next year house near your working with angels and I'm like your because I literally had a week to find a new office and it was just an incredible ride and it was. The office was Inner Church. Believe it or not it was crazy and it was for me and I started developing really came through to help develop these online angel practices and develop this intuitive healing training and within a matter of months I had quadrupled my income so I.

"Gug blimp so this glitter of light that helps us restore sense of Oprah. Yes yeah absolutely lutely I. If you're paying attention and that I hadn't paid attention to those things for years or ever and it was really through the angel work that I might mind that was able to shift and I could see really for the first time how not alone I was and and I think that that's really important for all of us. Know that I I was not a religious person or someone who was walking fake pious or perfect. As a matter of fact I was drinking Bottle of Tequila every two days and take an uppers and and and antidepressants and I was not this like ooh elevated Vegan. Human women who used to be. Oh fasting WHO's finally opening up to to the spiritual experience and so that's my point is that's for everybody this. The angels will to work for you no matter what place in life you are got it got it. Thanks a lot for shedding. No when you talk about angels. Are you predominantly drawing from Christianity. The or are the other traditions that speak about angels as well because I noticed that there are certain terminology like Angel. Gabriel and Angel Raphael which. I'm guessing his Barclay from the Christian tradition. I just wanted to know like water some of the traditions that you've come across that also speak about angels or is it predominantly Christianity. Yeah I don't believe Lebed predominantly Christianity. As a matter of fact you know people make all these things these energies by different names specifically just talking to someone who who I was really intellect Hindu mythology and he was sending it. There's a parallel between Archangel Michael and this other deiter deity who fights who's like a warrior who who fights evil and things like that so you know across country and I forget what his name is but across cultures whether they're smaller indigenous cultures.

"It's creepy yeah I don't know why people want to be mega famous I I don't get it yeah what level of fame do you aspired listen I'm happy right where I am right after our hogs and making sure that when you WanNa grim yourself you go below the belt and you take care of that fresh lawn in yeah I'm talking about your pukes MANSCAPING offers precision engineered tools for your family jewel and Spooky time hollow is right around the corner want to spook someone with your scary Bush you know you don't want people to think that you're putting on a cost then you have to say no just might twenty percents off free shipping with the code goes deep at MSKCC DOT COM have a great halloween stay spooky and your balls will thank you all right later dudes love you how'd you like to be directed again I read the script one hundred times I come to work nobody knows anything about what I'm doing than I do right so I want to be directed in a sense that I'm serving the script serving the movie if you there's a better way in the scene that I should be serving you let me know right but other than that most directors hires because they know you're going to make the page better right right and so guys like Woody Allen even Joe Carnahan Gavin or they don't give you a lot of direction your explained Eastwood Yeah they don't you know what what Clint Eastwood Movie I've had lots of friends whoa friends I heard he shoots rehearsal and then you don't trust you listen unless unless he really was wrong ninety percent of making a great movie is the right people right that's it and when you hire the right people they come prepared a hands off approach and there you go yeah unless it's really something that's right and Oh it's technical it might be technical might be moving face too much it's close up and let's do a little bit less than you know but other than that it's usually the great ones don't we give a lot of direction is that demoralizing when you're working with director that you don't trust and you're on Day thirty or day twenty out of like forty it's not demoralizing it's you know what it is scary because at the end of the day it's your face on the thirty foot screen right and so this guy if you don't trust this guy imagine going to see on hip and the guy who's got the wheel you don't think around right doesn't like wait a minute it's your shit iceberg over what are you looking over there for it's like yeah that's all it is and it's like then you're like wait a minute I gotta do this by myself right right and so you got other actors and other people and then you gotTa talk to the camera what am I doing what does this look like an I don't trust this Guy Yeah and you know I I'm not I'm I don't keep them I'm not keep quiet I'm a very vocal right New York Italian guy does the conflict ever help you think it sparks like some of your attic at a great conflict comes great drama nice keep monitor you read about the seventies movies and it sounded like everyone was like shit show yeah edges asked most movies are inches listen a lot of movies I made there was it's not a movie I've been in that that was substantial you know whether it's like warrior the gray or Captain America you know there's always conflict yeah always because it's creative process and your creative process and yours and mine are going to be different at some point and we're gonNA bud heads is your energy different if you're one or like seven on the call she Iran it's you know what I gotTa tell you if you're one if you're number one it means you're number one for a reason you have responsibility right in shit rolls downhill so however set the stage that's going to be the tone of the movie so I don't care you when when you're the guy you have a responsibility to keep everybody morale how up in you know even if you have a problem if you have a problem you've got to take outside but it's fun being before yeah you know what I mean it's fun being or five in number four when you were with great actors and right you know it's a little less weight on your shoulders right and you get to have a lot of fun right if the director fucks up then you're like what the fuck talk with him and it's fun to do that yeah additioning I was okay got good got good you know I got you know after I worked with Nick Nolte I work with Nick Air he changed me as an actor and I kinda shifted the way I approach things and everything kind of fell into place after that I had the tools but they weren't necessarily work in the right way yeah and not just talking to legend where he works it's amazing yeah what became your approach after you know just to take the deep dive like to really look anything you want to be success I'm sure you guys have read the Book Outliers Malcolm Book there have there's no accident to success and you know it takes a Lotta time yeah and so you know you realize well I'm putting the time in but I'm not putting the time where you become Nick Nolte it's not an accident to become nick nolte right he does the work I work with guys like Mel Gibson and Liam and Wood Norton these guys an incredible amount of homework an incredible amount and you realize if you want to be at that level or if you WanNa dance the dance where these guys are yeah you got to do the work yeah with no with Edward sorry good now yeah it's interesting with with movies and stuff you know you just see them product you never really think about the preparation that goes into even just like a small part it's harder some it's hard yeah because you don't have an arc or the arc is unidentifiable and so you got to come in a really without being egregious right you gotta you gotTa do your thing and and and hopefully somebody else you know you'll be appreciated for doing that because you're supporting you know what I mean yeah when you got the role it's easy to kind of put it together yeah onset the grit that you need to have I mean just like Hawaii five o for five days Oh you did and it was awesome it's we're in Hawaii we loved it I mean it's a tough schedule at like five oh those TV schedule brutal soap operas right when I start again when I was young I was I was on a soap opera guiding just one guiding light re single I was married to my first wife and then became single during that yeah do you get a lot of attention because you're yeah what's what's that like it's awesome it seems like it would you get I it's been a long when I was on a soap opera attention I everything's got their fans so but now look now I'm a grown man and I walk around looking like this and people don't approach me actively anymore you know what I mean it's been like you intimidate people well I just think they think I might be a certain type of guy right and so they'll look away from a distance it's just a fan of like yeah but you do look like a movie star bomb look terrible hey why don't you look showered in days I haven't used soap it does that's the that's like the movie star moving a- and I could see that because you you I mean I could see being intimidated but you'd have a warmth once you start talking I am I'll talk to anyone and and you know I grew up a blue collar guy right and and my mother my again my father was rest his soul he he put us through a lot but my mother was steadfast she worked three jobs and you know she cleaned houses and she did these things that most people don't want to do yes you know what I mean but she did it and she took care of us so I have this I have such a place in my heart and such respect and a deep respect for the security guard for the guy working at the desk at the at my building in my apartment I got time for everybody and because you know a lot the problem I have a lot of times with people especially in L. A. and can be New York sometimes is that they treat these people like they're in visible like there there you know like their lawn ornaments like a law yeah no enemy and it can happen easily people especially if you have a elevator station like people just come up and give you like a drink someone just handed to you and he yeah and you don't look if you could just grab it and not look and you know there's there's a saying in an I'm just gonNA paraphrase but you know it's like I don't care how much money you have I don't care what you status is what I care about is how I see you treat other people all right and so that to me is what I instill in my kids it's like you know you don't remember walking down the street we live we were living in in Chelsea New York's city and a homeless guy used to be and my little my Middle Guy said you know she he said Daddy wise a bum always go don't ever call him a bomb and I said well why don't you ask him because I can't talk to him he's meeting Wisey mean and so you start to you start to ask your kids these questions and you realize is that these these these ideas about people started a very young age so I made him go and talk to the guy and it turned out the guy had a lot to say the guy happened it turned out he had a lot to say and we went on to become friends with him and we would we wouldn't walk past him ever without my kids wanting to give him money forgiven piece of coffee cake or a Bagel they would if they went to get a Bagel they wanted to give John a Bagel and so we give Johnny Bagel and he'd say good morning every day and all of a sudden he became a person wasn't just a guy on the street he he was a human being right and so that's how I am in my life right I have time for everyone until I don't have to time for anyone which is the people who are I feel that they think their privileged yeah I got no time for privilege people it seems like you have a deep sense of gratitude Dude I do yeah I do and I do every day and I remember that therapy's been great for this but I remember that every time I get a little you know intimate self and like wait a minute jerk off you know look what you do for a living yeah you idiot what are you complaining about you know what I mean so it's hard because I've had a very nice life I mean it was k. there was a lot of chaos but it was overall I think I've had it better than most but I still find myself as far as your family ah if I ever see him act as if he had a privilege live so it's a aches and I'm like Oh yes and sometimes bigger than that right I mean yeah but that's the human condition do you ever are you ever like do you because my daddy used to do this to me that's you know everything's starting to fire and you don't know you just emotional because motion you're growing your hormones you don't know where I unfortunately and I don't want to say anything bad about him he's not here to defend himself but I didn't have a great father he wasn't a great father like.

like I think the thing that's nice about the scooters you don't have to own it so I don't have to worry about the up keynotes shooter guy and Gal mhm on the scooter just thinks that you know it's vacation wherever they are and they can do whatever they like and to adhere to the to the rules in the regular nations of what other Motor Vehicles Saf do I can tell you as a scooter rider I one hundred percent feel that way when I'm on a scooter on vacation right I need the break though I need the vacation so you don't jest rather not sell bonds at Goldman Sachs man you did that right for a minute to fly on sidewalks no it's you know what listen when there was a couple of them it was cool it was like all right another mode of transportation right for the young and the unemployed But now I see like you know these Jerky guys my age you know with no helmets like doing jumps it's that's not cool and then they've beaver over the streets and there's like sixty different companies now like yeah I've got kids I got I got wives I got I got fucking a business like I'm trying to do things with my life before I die which I feel like it's opening soon I relate to that and that's a lot of stress I wake up three o'clock every morning you know with the problem with the white man right how do you deal with the stress I take xanax like everybody no yes rain there it is what the scooter I don't ride anything called a scooter scooter any rights secretaries and he's good I like that I don't mind that I would like to see you on a scooter that's no not happening ever not ever I'll walk on my knees before I get on one of those things but he trained like three hours day is that many times more today he did yeah a kings mammoet you did yeah I love it all right before that how a couple years right now we're in the same school where the same dude I'm telling you on your trajectory right I'm a look a little better when he gets you off that scooter and you'll be fine I'll do more tie but Iraq line I rock climb I saw a Surf Rock I'm much respect for Rockland Yeah I lo- yeah it's like you challenge your mind your body everything yeah and like boxing and fighting you have to be focused very focused but what you're doing is you can die and it's nice to disconnect from like it is from everything else right it is you have to do things that are that encompass all of your concentration yeah and we're like where the things that you're valuing dome madder about environmental things don't matter right unless it's like I said you have kids you'll realize when you have kids okay it's about the kids but other than that how old are your kids eleven fifty eighteen and twenty two how cool did your career has kind of exploded what like twelve years ago ten years I don't know about exploded I mean Brad Pitt's career Loyd but no I I've I've been on a on a certainly an up relative to most yeah yeah it's all about your exactly right and so yeah it's been good it's been but it's hard you know look was the kids a motivator no you know what's the motivated to me is not failing so not giving up simple just don't stop you competitive very competitive I like the knowledge I am I am I don't like to lose like even now like my agent concert hey you know they love you but they liked this guy and they think this guy might aca you're looking at the box box he's a shitty actor guy whatever and you're good actor yeah man I mean yeah I try to be I did everything I do I work very hard at everything I do I try not to do too much about I don't know Oh can't think of one thing I don't really do anything that I'm bad at for that reason you give it up yeah I'm bad at baseball okay really it was a shitty baseball player it's kind of May contact the ball just picturing 'cause she looks so calm I was afraid of that little white interesting yeah I played Big Ben couple times the ball popped up and hit facing this what sports do you play I played in school I played football I was primarily a wrestler okay and Lacrosse okay so things that you could hit people tax yeah yeah And the now I just you know I box every day and I do some jetson multi and but primarily boxing would you like more out of the football and Lacrosse guys It was the same guys okay all of the same guys I played Lacrosse with the hockey guys I like we've won the third team like freshman team right but they're all my buddies the varsity hockey guys and they were just destroy kids out it's very enjoyed a lot of fun yeah they were just toast by the way smart guys to go went onto like schools not at all my friends that were into people say oh the Jackson odd the smartest kids in the school yeah Yeah Yeah high-performance typically Yeah Cross disciplines yes yes wrestler's wrestling friends were like these smartest guys Oh yeah where do you box now box it a couple of places I box it right of Piedmont boy Pittsburgh the director owns Churchill boxing and Santa Monica yes I box there three days a week with my Buddy Kris van Heerden who's a pro And then a box at fortune boxing with Justin Fortune and Jose Navarro Justin Fortune Trains Manny Pacquiao Roseanne Navarro's Olympic so it's a good group of different guys you watch peepers doc about a Freddie Roach I did it was great it was incredible where he shot agents ground heats they see pete everyday we joke around and what's he like he seems like an animal he's a he is an animal and the best of ways and Eel listened Pete's happiest when he's in the gym yeah you know he dated Whitney Cummings and at any Whitney she was dating pitch I would be doing sets like open mic sets and then she would come on you know right for the real show and she was talking about her jock Alpha male boyfriend and like how Boris she was and then I later found out who he is he is he is he's a he's a thug really is he's smart thug and let me tell you she's very listen he's philosophical he's he's intelligent easing he's incredibly well read and he's got he's curious and he wants to make stuff stuff stuff too yeah nice he'll get in he'll get the other day he got in with within the ring with me and we were moving around and he doesn't mind getting punched in the I know I think it can be refreshing wakes you up like fight club right you're in this Kia world and what's better than getting punched in face to to to wait surreal it's real truthful I haven't thought much I I've been like a couple of fights russell my brothers but every time I do you have a feeling of euphoria then you're exhausted yeah tiring because when the Reptilian brain kicks in and all your endorphins and everything let's go and you're kind of fight or flight and then it's over you're you're shaking your nervous system is actually feel like that right now you do my central nervous systems firing journalists Pumpkin after like masculine appearing actor and you get casted in a lot of like all time great kind of mass hyper miniscule in the thing that I love about your acting as I think you're actually like some of your best scenes of the stuff that I've gravitated to the most is when you subvert that like when you get real until insensitive right which is what I am you took a lady right but like you wouldn't expect that from your character and either situation that's great you know it's interesting because Hollywood if you're not Brad Pitt Oh you do tend to be typecast bit and there's there's that thing that I do which is the kind of hyper masculine guy you that maybe a little conflicted and can have moments like yeah so they give moment but you always have right and so but I grew up I grew up a very he kind of shy insecure kid cry I did cry I still cry to me and Mike when my kids do things I have to walk away 'cause I cried very easily and I get my feelings hurt very easily so like what I'll get angry when my feelings get hurt because I feel like I have to defend myself but they get hurt like I'm very I'm I'm hypersensitive point blank to with your brother with my brother and then I like the last like yeah that's sort of like gentleness comes through and there is no father for most of my adult life yeah I have a son is twenty two and you know when you have kids you you tend to shed all that nonsense and you need to be available emotionally for these children you know yeah and so it really opens you up as a human being it's the greatest hey daddy here in the word what's a real you would love to play but you think would just be like a little bit outside of how people think about you that's A question you know their roles look I look at McConnell Hey in a Mike The Dallas buyers club right Mike that's beautiful role that's a beautiful yeah I would love to do that yeah I would love to do I love I love to play with my body physically would love to get myself to a place where I don't look like me and then to kind of go on that journey of of that character because I listen to me that's that's who I I am more than the kind of stallone esque character right then I tend to kind of play yeah but that characters are kind of deconstructing the masculine.

"McGee Jay Brennan and Dave Greg Good Morning the hard act to follow right there well. I think you're up to it and much like we did with Jay. Hey we didn't get a chance to talk last week. Day I saw some of your thoughts on paper and on twitter but quick hit from last weekend the Jockey Club Gold Cup Diku and everything that came with it didn't agree with the call but that's par par for the course for me and the stewarts here good rates by both horses of Abu kind of the call takes away from the performance of both you know Roseville in sort of honor. I thought it was Kinda. Overshadowed what how well they ran I thought it was in solid effort. You know Roy Moore your skin and people give them credit for so he's tactical enough that you're going to go back to the race. In California that he won he was four why but right up on the pace so he can be he can play from the start and still finish finish which is a good thing for him to have going into the classic and Code of honor you know stepped up against a couple of quality older horses and and still continues to show improvement as Shug shoveling transfer your kid and I'm glad they didn't go into stuff. it'll it'll spice it up a bit very much and we talked to show yesterday what turned into a was supposed to be a you know. Tell us about the decision ten minutes turned into forty because because show and you can talk about the current horses and then you can talk about his Breeders Cup record you know he's he's run horses in the Classic Eight Times. He's got two seconds and third and I asked him if he thought you know this was as good or the best one of the best chances that he's had in a classic and he kind of feels it is I think so in part because he's got a quality improving horse and in part because I don't see a real stand out in the division there you know I I was even if Mackenzie had one last week is still affected him at a mile and a quarter. I think come back with a pack a little bit and now I think he's you know emit commit pack there. I you know he he he was not impressive last week and and right now he doesn't have a jockey so that could be a hindrance so I I think the the you know I I think the visual the classic is releasing. My is right now pretty wide open well it it certainly enhances the classic and we got some. Jay's thoughts will also wait for some other news in decisions. Tacitus you know who I could send as many as three with a late and Yoshida. We'll see what the tacitus call is but have you talk to Jimmy later in the week about preservationists. I don't think the preservation and the clock berry good yeah. I kind of. They were Iffy iffy. Even before we got through the jockey there pretty traditional people. You Know Oh you go to the classic going for a good race. You don't go you don't travel cross country now. It's in your own backyard. Maybe maybe say okay. I'm hearing but the put him on. A plane ain't off that race. just doesn't make any sense to me and. I'm not sure what it was tales right now. I wouldn't be surprised if maybe they they just you know. Have you know conclude are dealing. Just say thank you. Thank you for the memories. They were well some other thoughts thoughts about the weekend the the two year old swept by Chad Brown and not necessarily by Chad Brown surfers Dave that were all that highly regarded regarded coming into the early fall. It looks selflessly ran a decent race when she got in her debut. She was a bit why she was just what about a half length behind her stablemate and you know. She got a very nice trip. The other day and you know you beat a field that I didn't necessarily I think was seller but that didn't necessarily like her either so I can't you know I'm not saying that I choose my choice but look it's very you know. Handicapping is hard art. When it comes to the Grillo it's simple to spend on Chad Brown. It just just do it. Does it seven and eight. I've never seen I've Nev- I don't know of any race that he may be bad for our security security and and and dumb or something that just a guy dominates the race like Chad Brown at least in New York dominates the race Jeff Brown dominates the Mus Grill and just you know next year when it comes. I'm just circle the Chad. He's got more the ones at about boxing and you'll walk out with a little more money so any payment structure solid rates you know. I I liked about structure that he showed you different dimension in the first race. It was a slow pace. He was up on it and then he finished and then they got a bit of a faster pace and close close so you like versatility show. I need to know more about what else is in that race before. I say an annoying Kim and enter a the you know a victory in the Breeders Cup Juvenile Turpin juvenile fillies served interesting I said they were aware of it at the time but selflessly not nominated to the Breeders Cup now looks set clemens got that money hidden in his closet somewhere so he can easily put up the supplementary see but it it was a weird kind of a strange thing maybe just crack but be supplemented for the raiders stuff to run and I'm sure she will do well. beyond the two year old stakes stakes midnight zoo in the Belle Dame and got you got you got her legs stretched and did what was necessary. The race as that ended up surprising to some degree aside from everything that went on in the Gold Cup four Horsfield in that Vosper that ended up being really exciting and forensic fire and imperial put on some show down the stretch cool horses you know he's still still Harvard have trouble taking that race threatens fire and last year the parts race horse averaged one the rate just a cool towards I mean that's a super cool horse right there in so small but he's got such big hardy so fast and you know I think they call it a little bit adviser prize when Friends Fire Collared Him and he still had something more to offer and he gave it to him and you know maybe maybe hard race before the Breeders Cup will help him in the Breeders Cup opposed to a couple of cakewalks that he had especially last year Vosper. You just walked around there and now last year Frears Cup. Chances may have been compromised the fact that he just doesn't run it and go to Churchill downs I mean I think he's on there three times. The probably three worst races throughout the worst rates is I thought he may well enough to del Mar a few years ago when he was in the Mitch Breeders Cup and second. I believe but maybe there's hard rates will help him. battle tough because it's a tough rate expensive very very competitor's. Maybe one or better rates on the car to the totally and chance a lot on you know. I guess you have to see what Omaha beach that rates for tomorrow how he runs. A and B what they use it for work. the the the sprint has potential to come up here one of the best races on the card and I think that race will have imperial head registered. Well turn our attention attention to tomorrow and there's a lot there's a lot of intriguing match-ups paper going into Saturday at and there's actually a nice set races on Sunday with the thirty the flower bowl in the present. We gotta start with Champagne and a green light. Go Ah to forego the hopeful. After the track was a a a slop. I don't blame Jimmy Jerkins at all for taking that route however he comes into the champagne now having to go a mile and there are at least is three others that are are major players here not the least of which is Barkley tag and Saka Toga the last time they had a two year old like like this. They kept funny side against New York breads until going to Florida for the holy bull this time they're going to go for an early open company opportunity the and it's at the highest level the first thing. I want to say that this race is there is a major scratching the race three technique. Jeremiah texted me this morning and I put it up on twitter a little while although has a lung infection and we'll come out of the race and I thought he was a significant player in the field so it's down to six source field going at that. Tis The law law you know of course is very impressive. Beating New York reds first time out had shin issue that Barkley took care of list about three weeks total of training but it's gotten back in I saw I saw at least two if not all three of his three of his works here and they're very solid workout you just wonder if the layoff going a mile with the one rate is going to happen ready to do it now. The layoff is very similar to green like oh the day difference so it's not that sort of balances out but green go with tested in stakes company and also has races opposed to one and I just like I just really liked it. I I don't know what he's going to become. I don't know how far is GONNA WANNA run but I just like the way both starts getting solid well built for uh-huh hardy type of horse who just has a great hind end you know where the power generated from and I think like the mile and beyond and I think this has a moment for Jimmy. Sake that the horses say how down and continue on the campaign Jimmy. He says out born whatever that might be but I think it'd be awful strongest training like that rate.

"The we in the most important for for the rest of this all four African Champions League games on Saturday ended in ho winds, ASEC mimosas, Mamelodi Sundowns and CS Costa tied all picking up three points. IS vehicle of the Congo though, called the biggest of the Wednesday. Thrashed Simba of Tanzania five nil. And in twenty four hours time, we'll know which two teams will be contesting this year's Super Bowl. The Los Angeles Rams take on the number one seeded saw the New Orleans Saints in the NFC championship game. Then in the AFC the Kansas City Chiefs and their quarterback. Patrick Mahomes will be up against the five time SuperBowl winner Tom Brady of the New England Patriots. Now hopes is already being talked about as the next Brady. He thinks that's going too far. I'm always strive to do the some of the things that he's done with the Super Bowls that he's won. I mean that's the ultimate goal. And he's he's not trying to pass pass the torch anytime soon. I mean, he's he's. Let at a high level this year, and I just keep playing at this level for at least another couple of years less. Patrick Mahomes from the Kansas City Chiefs. Thank you, very much Alicja more than seventy people are now known to have been killed in a fuel pipeline explosion in Mexico City. The governor of the state of Dow go has said that more bodies had been found at the site. Nearly eighty people were injured the accident happened as crowds of people from a local village filled up containers with fuel to use in their vehicles or sell on on the black market. Yohan Grillo is a writer and journalist based in Mexico City. So there's there's been a lot of video right before the explosions seeking Sita situation, quite clearly and some people in this community classes community drew the whole in the gasoline pipeline. And the gasoline petrol was exploding out people were lining up. Hundreds of people were. Are lining up to fill cans of petrol. So it kind of looting of the oil pipeline. And somehow it was satellite. Maybe somebody had a cigarette or whatever. I'm the explosion happened there and all these tragic deaths. Many people were killed it must have been a huge explosion. Yes. Video of this mushroom cloud gonna it's not the first time. This happened repeatedly in Mexico colored various times these things where you see that these fob who's down through housing areas ruled tragic. This is the problem when people drill holes in pixel pipelines in crude oil pipelines and gasoline pipelines is incredibly dangerous, and unfortunately, there's been people grilling housing pipelines across Mexico in the thousands. Because you bought this crazy wave of oil factors been growing and growing in recent years, and they must know the risks. They're taking yet. There's an an all the time the cruise stealing oil involve actually workers will ex will workers most of the time. They're more professional than this. They'll drill often to one hole to pump oil out of them one whole to pump water or something into equalize it and then patch up afterwards as this is spreading common people realize something easily we can do we can make money you've got people doing. And in this case it wasn't like normal theft. It was like a looting of. Of the oil pipeline clearly a crackdown. That's going on on oil theft isn't working in Mexico. The crackdown by president Andrew. Is facing enormous challenges. He's only been in power for a month and a half only really been running this crackdown for couple of weeks. Now, you've seen the oil theft growing massively when you go back ten years, and it was a problem. Then you could see this problem Graham now how come the Mexican government is letting drug cartels star stealing large amounts of well, that's not gonna end well and is getting bigger and bigger we will see a way to make money. So where you get thousands and thousands of points where the pipelines of being stolen from where they're being people drilling into them. So it isn't generally speaking, desperate individuals driven by poverty in rural Mexico. This is an organized thing and the prophets are going to too big criminals. Yeah. The organized crime networks crew many people from poor areas. When you go to poor villages many inmates. We have organized crime. There you go to get to areas in Mexico slum areas, you have organized crime recruiting. There is poverty and inequality mass opposite key part of the organized crime. But it's a of I think it was simplistic way desperation is a breakdown of law and order in a span of crime in the country, which is being gone on for years. And that's why you have one hundred fifty thousand organized crime related deaths over the last decade Mexico. That was Yohan Grillo who's a freelance writer and journalist reports for us regularly from Mexico and Mexico City in particular. You're tuned to the BBC World Service. This is weekend names. Paul Hanley obviously.

"Frank Grillo is going to be on with us in a moment. But stugotz, and I were talking during the break, and we were arguing about it. I say that Stephen a Smith became full wrestling character with the back and forth threatening with Kevin Durant. But Stu gods? Nominates this right here as the moment that Stephen a Smith consciously decided to give in air. I'm all in on this as a thing right here. I have profound respect for the late Johnny Cochran, God rest, his soul. But it might be the cockiest thing that I've ever said. Christopher darden. Marsha Clark did an absolutely horrendous job as prosecutors because if it were me, there's no way in hell Johnny Cochran would have beaten me with that evidence that I that they have I'll tell you right now. I'm not even lawyer. There is no way that you would have put twelve jurors in front of me with that evidence. And I would have lost to even Johnny Cochran. I don't want that truck. I've often said all right. So there you go that lasts sent those last two sentences with the semi column between Ida one that trial. I've often said that I believe him or or wedding started going back and forth with Kevin Durant game. Or put it on the poll, Instagram and Twitter at lebatardshow out of one that truck I've often said that I've often said that is just such a killer at the end, so Frank Grillo with us now fight world is available now on Netflix. This dude is a man's man is or percent body fat wandering around and be. Beat you up. And whatever language it is you want to be beat up. If you don't fall in love with them. That's true. Also, he is dream boat. Good god. Yes. Agree. He knows it. Yeah. Well, this show sounds fun that you're doing now. But before we get to that take us to the most extreme thing you do at fifty three to get to five percent body fat. Most extreme thing is. Jumped on my my motorcycles on the weekends ride in the mountains and almost killed myself every Saturday and Sunday, but make it somehow and and in here, I am. But that's not the most extreme on top of getting person the face every day and and wrestling around like like, maybe. Yeah. Here. I am fifty three percent body fat. Not talking about. You're not Motorbiking. Right. You're just riding your motorcycle run up. No, I go. I go extreme enduro cross. It's called out in the mountains. That's all I blow off steam every weekend. Okay. So this okay. Explain that to us. What is that? So this is dirt dirt bike riding dirt bikes. Yeah. Motorcross motocross writing. But in the woods in the mountains. Like undecided clips, I it's it's it's extreme it's it's very dangerous. And and I've almost gotten divorced five or six times becomes real. What's the matter with you? Childhood. That's a good hands. Very efficient a rough childhood. Let's give him over fight. World is available now on Netflix. Because fighters don't wanna talk about these things, right? You just want to fight right? Right. Talk. Feelings on this. No. On the show is not really about fighting. You know, I often say ripped off Anthony bourdain, and you know, the way to really about food. It was about people. It's it's very similar. What's the most scared? You've ever been filming the show. You know, I was never really endanger, and I went to some dangerous places into Pedo Mexico. It's a little scary with the drug tells if you step out of out of line a little bit. Yeah. We've got eyes on you and people tend to disappear but other than that. I gotta tell you from Africa Thailand to me, I never really felt danger. Wait, what Wha-wha-wha-wha-wha-wha-wha-wha-wha-what's that bridge was very casual the the people tend to disappear bridge. You just threw at us there. That sounds dangerous period. If you're saying, what do you mean? Disappear. Well, I mean cases like Tito, which by the way, ninety nine percent of the people who live there are hard working for people, but it is controlled in part by drug cartels. There's several of them that are the biggest drug cartels in Mexico City. And we actually had one of those cartels were the ones who were kind of protecting us while we were there, and it was very it was very made very apparent to us that if we kind of step outside of of where we're supposed to be especially with these guys guarding wearing wearing extreme danger because they're everywhere. So it was, you know, people do in Mexico City. Unfortunately, that's the culture into PTO if you cross the cartels people tend to disappear sometimes. And I made it back here. I am. All right. Thank you for doing. So fight world available now on Netflix. Frank Grillo with us. What would you say was the most interesting episode just where the richest combat culture you absorbed yourself in? You know, I have to say, and it was a departure from the others, but Israel, he's real really really affected me because the people as a whole being surrounded by twenty five hostile nations. Are they're all warriors. They're all fighters. They all go into the military. And I didn't understand really what it was like. I am not a political person. When I got there. All of them are already in any moment to go into battle to fight for the dirt. Never as one guy says to me and the show we'll never put our is down our head down and look away from danger again. So these people as a group to me they affected my my whole DNA. I was like blown away by by who they are as a culture explained it to us to what happened. Israel. Yes. Nothing really happened. It's just you know, they they train train all again trained in the military all their heads are constantly on swivel. You're constantly under the pressure being attacked by every side of the country. People don't want them there. And then they're not going anywhere and they live their lives. So that if there is any trouble they will fight at a moment's notice. Every one of them they will fight to the death. And if they see you in trouble, they will fight for you. So, you know in America, we have you know, bystander apathy, let the next guy take care of it. And it's it's I found that to be profound. I really did. Frank Grillo with us here on ESPN radio Frank. I did a Google image. Search and quite frankly, no pun intended there. I cannot keep my eyes off. Dreaming. Dreaming. I'm just I'm just wondering like hair. I you got it. All right, but hair is ads. What do you consider to be your most impressive, which is got to be the hair? In fact, give it make it gold silver. And bronze. Okay. Beautiful hair, my hair. I don't know. I can't do anything about it. It's the way I I have hair like putting you woke up like this. I wake up I swear, I don't even wash my hair. I mean, this is unbelievable gamma why you wanna call. You don't see in his hair looks a little bit targeting..

Does they go I'm gonna kill this village? I'm gonna cut their throats, and 'cause God this works gods were so she's behavior. God's dirty work. Yeah. Jay. Thinking singing the jets. Perry on Frank Frank. Looks me comes out and we're gonna pick him up. And he goes like this. He goes fuck, and I go what what what's wrong I thought Antonio, and he has sunglasses on he's looking in the garage at his garage door like it's a mirror, and he goes, I look like, I'm a guy who model sunglasses tight t shirt and torn jeans. Let's get out. Let's go, man. I was like holy shit. No older. I'm forty three really good though. Thank you, really what I was saying to myself. That's another language that covers up the real language is I look in the mirror and go I hate your guts, I wanna smash your head and then round drought. So, you know, that's what drives the party's. It's a feathered pillow is it is. I don't hurt mice in a way in a way. Like, your your career has never been better nonce. We're allowed. It's been better. That's not true fragments fine. It is what it is only known Frank since he's been killing about four years. Now, he's killing ever since I've known, so I don't know the other. So he was always like six years seven years now he's producing movies too. So it's a big it's a whole different stratosphere. Congratulate them do you have more tattoos now, I got more midlife crisis. I hear you know, he got it in Tyler. I got him in on the album and Thailand. No, no. I got these two in Thailand this one in Thailand before the show before and these were in China in the show being fight. Go fight world. Yeah. It's on that flex now streaming and surprisingly because I'm used to things falling into shit. People have responded, very very positive. It's good. You know what? I mean. I'm a hater. When it comes to fight stuff. And I'd tech show's in Utah, and my brother, and I were watching Netflix. I was the guy got. Yup. Fucking fight world, man. Frank on it. You just stay away from fights stuff. Yeah. And it was damn good, man. It's so good. What's what's his name who wrote and directed and who basically directed and edited? And well, he he Patrick Pat McKinley who was a very famous A-List editor, and then came to work on kingdom, the TV show that we did. And then he directed the last couple of episodes, which I thought were the two of the best episode they Israeli Israel when. You went to Israel and Senegal. No, he directly up so the king. "This is you have see on filtered. And now your host, Jim Norton and bad, Sarah. Welcome to a fine episode of UFC, unfiltered, Matt is not here. But he'll be here. Very shortly. He's not late. We are just starting a hundred percent on time because we have to go to the phones for Derek Lewis. Frank lewis. Frank Lewis Frank Grillo is in studio. Yeah. I'm just we have on the phone, Derek. Hi, you're talking to a Jim Norton and Frank Grillo. How are you? Good. Matt will be here shortly. You this is the most on-time call we've ever had with a fighter. Congratulations. By the way. I gotta be honest. I was just rewatching the fight with Alexander Volkov. It's one of the most impressive things I've seen a fighter pull off. Before it really was like a rocky fight. And I also watching that again, I have a lot of respect for him. Because I think he was up to round and he was doing very well early in the third round. And he still kept pressing. He's still kept pushing for the win. He didn't just kind of hang back in a void. You. Doing. There was probably an error. Nightside a bad move. Were you surprised at all that he was doing that? Because I was watching into that third round. And I'm like, why is he pressing so hard? I mean as a fighter. I'm sure it's because you want to win we use surprised if he took that that strategy. Installed mocking coaches. Coach tell them. Coaches. Bounder? No. Now now. Oh, he was shit talking and getting a little overconfident. Oh, yes, for sure. Now. Did you feel what kind of trouble you in early in the third round? It looked like he really landed early in the third, and I thought that you how were you close to being in serious trouble there? Just couldn't see models burning soaker. Insane. What was it that was actually wrong with your eye? Okay. Now when he was twenty you this is the first I'm hearing that when he's taunting you how has that affected? You mentally is it affecting you at all. Oh, not at all. I'm not really. Pronin conscious right now. It's just really just waiting. Were you going into the third? I think the guys were telling you in between rounds that you needed to knock him out. Did you did you feel like you had to get the knockout you aren't just going to win that round? You're going to refine known that. So you felt. Yeah. I mean that was I couldn't believe that. He let you get that close. I mean, like what the fuck you doing this ten seconds left when he went down, and you and you jumped on them what a devastating loss for him. That's one he's gonna replay for the rest of his career. Coaches. Especially twenty shits these talking Shillo, you're fighting and then get knocked out ten seconds. That's really embarrassing. Usually. Start. Cushman trying to do do more finish, the do you think that he thought you were too tired? I mean, nobody in in the heavyweight division doesn't respect your power. Your one punch knockout power. There's no one that doesn't know you can do that. So what do you think was on his mind? Do you think that he just thought you're more tired than you are? I believe so. Just. Guys. Just don't have. Finish the fight. How was your cardio in the third quarter? It was good. It was good over. I could've loop. It. More. Over release release release. Now, you talk about overacting. Now, you do sometime say that you don't train you only do thirty minutes a day in the gym in half of that is on Instagram. And I mean that's got to be some kind of exaggeration. Do you want your opponents to think that you're not as ready as you really are? Lou. I've been loan me. More more minutes. You have been putting in more time..

"I don't remember. Come on now. I don't eat. I don't eat fast pizza. What about? I mean, if my kids are pizza, maybe I'll take a bite, but mostly I won't. I need to get that sort of attitude really pizza, a love it, but you know, it makes me ill makes you ill that kind of food from you're from New York. I haven't eaten all New Yorker from the. Can you tell. From New York City. Graduate of NYU. Okay, right. You you you. You worked on Wall Street, right? I've worked while I was twenty years old. I was like bud flax, not like. Heats. The next one for Mary. Go, start bench cut, Franco your father of three kids. What's the best fighting style for kids to learn jujitsu, take tight. Taekwondo cut. If the start bencher cut one, I would have to start jujitsu. It's my thing. I would bench taekwondo and I would cut karate chop, chop karate chop white wine wise that you know it's it's very, it's Laden with Katasou's and it's it's for me, it's just it's too much. Repetitive stuff for the fun things happen. And it's it's stupid for me to say that, but I love jitsu. So ju jitsu is okay. So scratch Frank Grillo off of season. Two of Cobra KAI. That ain't happening. The last one because again, you're here the last time you were here. And I have a beautiful black and white photograph of me and khakis. Yeah, a button-down shirt with with my dog. Adding on the Ave. This photo you brought it out of? Yes. Last time wasn't the dog. The dog is beautiful as versus, oh, yeah, look at your arms. It's not great. I'll be honest with you. And why are your pants. Water. Exactly, right. Why are you wearing pants? Okay. By the way that I think is outdone only by the framed crossword puzzle in your with your name your. I mean, it's a bit much I was was, was I thirty two across your clue your times? I know you framed it. So my parents, they were there valley taken out of the bathroom at least put it in the green. Gotta it's gotta be somewhere. All right. So the last one best place to run with your dog, the beach, the park or mountains, Frank. Grillo I got. I got to, I gotta say the park and would be my start starting started. I would absolutely cut the beach. In the mountains, be on the bench. Okay, cut it. Each you. You should cut the beach or at least we're shorts. What if I cut the pants the pants, the beach. Gosh, good to see you. Frank. Thanks for coming on. Congrats on fight world comeback. Anytime you want your local here since now. Los Angeles guy, pizza. I've cut pizza. I've cut New York, my God, I have the heck giants. The giants cut the Yankees, go to be honest Yankees cut. You. The Yankees benched you. They've been giants. Kill me up. Frank. "Welcome back to the rich Eisen show not just to the radio and television audience, but this man to my right who was few years ago promoting kingdom. That was right here on audience. What a great show that was also enjoy his work in the purge film series. And now you can check him out and fight world as he is the host of a five part instalment travel documents, documentary series at streaming right now on Netflix, good to see you Frank Grillo. How are you? Good. Yeah, yeah, still here. Now you just said that was we went to break you think cub Eve's done with the? I think if it's it's a very delicate situation. You know, he's, he's, he's a hero where he comes from and and a lot of people support him in a lot of people think he's a hero for beating the crap out economy Gregor tall. He just didn't beat him up. I mean, he humiliated him. You know that that jaw crank was shouldn't happen to a professional fighter, right? Yeah. And listen, everyone knew the level of talent of Khabib and. He, he proved it if he if he would've stayed in the cage man, you know, just kind of, yeah, you know, but and you definitely know this having been exposed to the world through kingdom and learning about mixed martial arts and being immersed in that world as you were as an actor, it's difficult to say, get in the mindset yet to get in the octagon. Yeah. Get in the mindset to do to another human being or be prepared to have that done to you. Yeah. And then when the bell goes off, just shake hands and you know, and come back to society and having travelled around so much around the world into understand how serious someone like bead takes his religion, his family, you know where he's from and the way McGregor kind of you know you, you poke the bear enough and you know it's visceral emotional moment and you lose it. It was saying backstage, it's like hockey. I mean, what's the difference? You know that's equally is a legal to have a a Malay on what I think as you pointed out though, the fact that hot defense always into the view these into the general. He was like a silver back the way he'd left off of the apron into this, like he's still in the mindset of being in the octagon to that. He not as if he's like, okay, I'm now amount Khabib person again, let me offense. Right. So he's in raged. Yeah. And so you know, I joked before like, can we just get past all this stuff? Like the stuff being the Athletic Commission needing to figure out what's going on the you have seen eating, figure out the liability all of that stuff. Right. And as you said, if he had only stayed in in the cage, then he would not have all of these legal issues or visa issues. Right. Hanging over him, right. It's a problem. It's it's going to be a big problem. I don't know that you'll ever see them fight again. I don't know that we should. I mean, he really made a point of kinda McGregor saying, I'm just too good. He's a far superior fighter far superior. Well, based, again, on on on on being part of the world as you as you were for kingdom. What? What did you learn of what somebody goes through to get in that. Mindset to be in that octagon over, like even me who I train every day on the gym everyday a boxer day to all kinds of great stuff. I don't know when I when I would travel around with guys in Thailand book, how who's the greatest Moines type fighter? That's that's what fascinated me. That's why I wanted to do the shows like I try to understand what could put a person man or woman into this frame of mind where you are willing to risk everything, fight world your and just fighters like, you know what makes them do this. It's not money because most of them don't make a lot of money. So it's something it goes against. Almost Jim nature to want to do that. You know, it's, what do you think? Could you put your finger? I think I think these people are born with with just different DNA than than most people into it really hurts to fight not just to get in there leading up to that, the amount of training, the amount of knowledge that you..
