'This Is the Stuff That Mobs Do': Blowing Hillary's Russia Collusion Conspiracy Wide Open
"Bob muller comes onto the scene in the spring of seventeen after president trump fires komi right and paul ryan and too many republicans agreed to put muller on all under this cloud of the multi. What you're trying to tell me is the millions of dollars that hillary clinton pumped through was also maybe used to sweeten some journalists to write stories about this russia. Thing potentially right. I mean this story was so totally artificial. We got bob muller of yeah. I would go one step further. It's not even potentially it happened. Look we took sixty depositions under chairman newness under oath. They're all public now. Adam schiff didn't want him out. Rick grenell allied declassified them two years later and we put him out there online you can read the sussman deposition that i took that cited. In the durham indictment. That says he was talking to members of the media at the behest of client the client being the dnc fusion gps. Doing the same thing taking the same false sturt going to media and saying you guys got to put this story out and then. Here's the kicker hillary clinton and jake sullivan come in and tweet out information. As if they've never heard of it before and say look. President trump has a secret back channel to russia. If you remember this stuff in the fall of sixteen and they were the ones paying for it they pretending to know nothing about it and then they had a willing media. This is the stuff that mobs do literally. I mean this this monkey. It really

"We're taking the over on america's based on what i'm seeing if we keep this up with the grassroots focus on the conservative base from turning point action standpoint and from a republican standpoint the republicans are going to take back the house in two thousand twenty two. These numbers are super tight. Even if gavin escapes with three or four points like he'll say he's the winner he's actually even six eight point site in california by thirty points. Everybody back this is even close. Six million marketable. I mean i so remember. This was a long shot to begin with. But the fact that charlie's point when all is said and done you count the ballots in if he's if he wins this thing with eight to ten points. I'm not kidding it could be that wide. This is a massive massive slide. So again i'm telling you my my profession is media. It's working with reporters. That's that's that's my my background. I will tell you that they are going to try and spin this in a way that says all from strength to strength bigger and better national optimism for gavin. Newsom future that's all crap. The truth is this is going to be a lot tighter than twenty twenty. It shows an absolute lack of faith in this man and its reputation of the democrat policy. Clarify something. We knew this and we've always manage people's expectations with this. I'm not saying it's over am going to say it's hard. It's unlikely right. And i'm telling you right now. There's still a shot. The numbers are there. We're going to wait for that. Big red wave. So if you guys want to see that as it happens charlie kirk show podcast andrew. I want to say one final thing. Pay attention to any allegations of voter fraud. Pay attention to any shenanigans. There is a possibility anytime. There's something this big and this statewide and we're already seeing images on social media that you know we could pull up if we wanted to clip thirteen if you guys wanna do that for the stream here of the ballot. The seat bat on the light. We're seeing stuff like this report. It okay now if if this keep lookout because the you could be the thread that unravels the whole sweater you never know. So we don't know how all the pieces end up working themselves out. We don't we don't know where. All the little clues ended up the breadcrumbs end up leading. So just a thought that. I'm had i've had just as we've been talking about and rob said i didn't say i quoted mcclintock mcclintock. John wayne i mean john wayne is and you can quote mcclintock yes so. "This is the california's lost for good or something like okay. Look at that number and understand that that's gonna close a lot as soon as day of get counted. They just gonna take a while to count. We don't know when they're going to come in. But at some point this evening is going to come in and yes we're getting. Your e mails folks. We we're monitoring the situation of course what we're saying is you know. Gavin newsom declared victory. That's fine you know. We knew this was going to happen. Were saying we're going to keep watching the numbers come in and we're not going to just jump to conclusions because if you know anything about the media like my friend. Benny definitely knows something about the media. There is a propensity to follow the leader right. Okay so one outlet calls it then the next 'cause then then it's safe to jump in everybody's gonna call it gets to run up on stage and say oh. We just voted for signs that we saw this on election night with with arizona fox call. There's on way too soon. How many votes the end up Biden ended up winning arizona by by less than eleven thousand ten thousand so they could call it. You know five hours before five hours six hours before. And i'll give you a perfect example. So right here in orange county. Some new numbers have come out. Gavin went from fifty eight percent of the vote down to fifty seven percent and yes went up or down to fifty seven percent or fifty eight now. Went up forty two percent. It's only been an hour since opposing. That number is going to continue to shrink county. This other counties are going to start what you're saying is you're starting beginning of day of catch up. Yes so you can get up on stage to claim victory already like well kinda putting the cart before the horse. It's a little bit too confident. In my opinion bowling percent away texted me. This he said early voting is always democrat heavy. They are under performing in every county. Day of voting is always heavy. Republican california elections always go blue wave early read day way of and then bluewave corruption ballots after election. Let's get rabhan. Just kind of give a different perspective on all of this. And if i was given i out go out immediately and try to take whatever you know credit you might be just because you have an early mail and voting lead and might be hands of getting one more vote than the other side or fight. You know five percent more votes. That's what we're talking about here. We're talking about county by county trend by trend and also benny. What's your take is always happened when it's like we're going to. You always hear if a democrat is ahead like by a single half percentage point call it. Call it two percent of the third call it call. It is finished. It's finished but if trump is leading by ten points in ohio with ninety eight percent reporting is like it's like it's going to be something very stoic. Their stock must wait for of the ballots to count. But there's only one percent of outstanding and he's up by ten points you don't wanna you don't want to disenfranchise stacey abrams u-haul truck we talk about romance novel talking about this bill techniques the already one they call it. Doesn't i feel like i'm having a little bit of a deja vu and also reminding me of like some of the worst days i've ever spent as an american which are the days directly after the twenty two thousand election as you like sat in this malays. You're watching the like watching these years like like work and work and work and so it was like. Why doesn't that happen in this instance. Yes why don't we. Why don't we wait right. Why is my news. Feed filled by newsfeed was. I didn't want to say it but like an hour and a half ago. Some of the more extreme. Left-wing outlets i haven't entire feet of my tweet deck lid hell and it's the mo is the craziest aaron rubin and all of the absolute galaxy. Green rain lives right but they were calling two hours ago. Look thirty five percent report here. The rain core from star wars. And so it's like they've been calling it for like three hours ago right at five percent in they call. I talked out of the show saying that they were gonna call it in like forty minutes. Actually it they. They waited all the way longer waited way longer than i expected to be. So to all of you emailing us. Yes we see your emails and yes we see the news. Reports again are our philosophy on the show is different. The other thing. I want to talk about is trends cylinders. We see these trends. What's happening with hispanic voters. What we see with with having older white voters. We see what's happening with younger voters. Are they turning out or they're not. Are they enthusiastic or not. Those things matter folks this things matter in the long run a huge huge deal. So i wanna get. I wanna get round mccoy on here if we can is connor connecting the major story out of this night as far as what we're seeing from verified reporters at the new york times. The major story from tonight is that the democratic party has lost the working class yes. The democrat party has lost the working class and has become the party of the elite egalitarian class. So we have sorry to interrupt we rob. Who's passed around mccoy from thousand oaks. California let's get robin here. Rob says remember doing versus truman. It's not over yet. Rob mccoy pastor of calvary chapel. Thousand oaks california rob. Good to see you. I don't know if i can hear you or not. Let's make sure we passed audio kidding me here here you yes perfectly rob is doing well. I think so i mean you know. It's not over till the fat lady sings and she's not out yet. So this is california politics. The republicans don't trust the election system. And so they walk their ballots in. Everyone knows this and you go to any election office like they did in san fernando valley and they've been told they've already voted. We have this going on all over the state. And we're savvy. We've been doing this. Awhile lived in this state my whole life and today. My wife took all of the ballots of our family. We brought him down. Hand delivered them We wanted to make sure day. We made sure they were putting the proper hands. We didn't trust the mail system at you. Can't do that in california. Where we're the we're patient zero for ballot harvesting all the misery you've seen across the country was first developed in california and and you can give up and whine and complain about a corrupt corrupt system and then quit. Quit fighting and figuring out how to do it. But then you see guys like jack hibs who collects the balance with his church. The one thing. I was jack hadn't done was tell the total because you wanna keep that secret. 'cause they're just going to try to print them at the last minute to see how many didn't come up with right but we're going to pull it off. I really think this is going to happen. Call komi pollyanna. But i'm i'm very optimistic about this. So all right well so rob. Everyone's emailing us and you guys can do that. Freedom at charlie dot com. And they're saying i'm rattled. I'm net newsom is declaring victory. Just remind people how to california politics. Work rob okay. So so you always have the blue wave i. They always vote early. They they send their ballots in and then republicans do not trust the system. We've been worked and and we've seen the misery of it in the corruption of it. We saw young. Kim elected into the congress. She went back for freshman orientation and then they printed more ballots than the democrat won and she had to come back and then we finally got savvy and got young. Kim elected again. We're smarter wiser. Were walking ballot. Since so i weighed is always going to be democrat. You're watching it. And in every single county the democrats are under performing and then the red wave comes and included in that rebel. Red wave is also going to be conservative..

"Orange county sandberg. No kennedy's those three ones are going to be instrumental to guess on this. Recall here so it's still got thirty something minutes here. We're going to have three different types of ballots. Come through today tomorrow and the days so the votes. That are gonna come out at eight o'clock tonight or shortly. After eight o'clock you're going to be the mail in ballots which we already covered that. You're going to be seven million ballots that have already been mailed in four million of them are democrats one point nine million are republicans. But that doesn't take into account all the people that voted today and that mailed ballots democrats voting in favor. This recall we have to there. Democrat options on the recall and some democrats have had enough. This tonight is a question of whether or not california as its philosophical direction est correct ruling class that just whatever they want homelessness everywhere on these these democrats. They could've voted. Yes on the recall but left their republican choice. Blink wanted wanted to get gavin newsom out and they just thought they maybe think that anybody else. But gavin could be a lot of blowing off smoke for a lot of pressure cooker. Go to church absolutely again to rick grenell point earlier. There is a a massive massive number of conservatives that do not register as republicans in the state of california because they do not trust the state now to your earlier point on that reporting that we saw out of fox About katya katya sound we can. We can actually play of republican. Only voters were the ones getting told that they had voted before. I personally my my ballots. They showed up at my house on november. So i got my my ballots. The right way in november for this recall. My balance went to my in-laws house. No idea how that happened. Her y okay. Now we've got some other sound. We're gonna play where some people in in southern california receiving five ballots. We got news reports of this. Here's one thing. I will say so so. There is a conflicting reports that we're getting. Here's one good news for conservative. You're watching what you take good news one really good check this out. Jennifer medina reporting from los angeles. This is she says we're thirty minutes away from polls closing with so many male ballots. We could have some quick result. But and this is great. She's hedging already with a close rate race in california and being notoriously slow. We could be here for a long time. Yeah and i'll tell you right now. That the democrats are very nervous with what's happening right now. We just got some report straight from the frontlines of people that are telling me unusually long lines of people that are coming up now just because the democrat getting a ballot doesn't mean that they voted for newsom. This is a pressure cooker election. Are you upset with how he manages the water. You've set with kids with masks. Are you upset with what's been happening with force. Vaccinations this is a recall. Election is so hard for for the incumbent to beat. Because you have to persuade somebody that you're doing a little bit better than not not that you're better than the alternative. Which is what gavin newsom. Do he turned this into binary election verse. Larry need verse trump. Not whether or not. he's doing a good job. Signing things are more expensive. What does it cost to fill up gas of a gallon of gas. We're getting i see. I've seen a number of pumps over five bucks. Yeah yeah i mean. Obviously i saw five fifteen beverly hills this last weekend bipolar. Can you believe out some local taxes. Beverly hills puts on there. But yes absolutely i mean. I was driving through the central valley from north cal. Northern california down to southern california a couple of weeks ago. I saw multiple stations over five dollars in the central valley in the central valley. This is part of that is local taxes. Part of that is california taxes in general and so we just got a text here from jack kids. He says got another report from northern california super long lines. Everyone in this pastor's church has voted pretty incredible jacobs pastor calvary chapel. Chino hills will be coming here. He personally and his church collected twenty two thousand five hundred and three ballots. Just one church. Do you believe that. And we're also just for the stream sake. We're also going to be bringing on specific. Rob mccoy jack. Hibs and alex marlowe lots of people you have in every county broken down here as i commend polls are closing momentarily here and producer connor. Thank you very much otherwise known as tank from doing a great job and give you that. That's good isn't that great tank name for i love it. It's speaking people. Vote on this date on california. Your gas tank gas in california for the last five years has been a dollar higher than the national average on average in california seven hundred thousand people left california last year the first time the population growth has been negative in california in fifteen years tat loss angeles county alone seventeen percent decline in the amount of children born that's unsustainable by the way if you have a seventeen percent of the population loss in california with a publicist mostly. Let's majority hispanic now in la county for that community to be losing them any new children as i mean. That's that's breathtaking. Why half of california's surveyed said they are looking to leave the state. This is real millennials. That number spikes to sixty three percent and the people that are looking the most our young people and middle to low income people who can't afford to stay in california any longer that connor was in san diego. This weekend he played he paid four sixty gallon in san diego the about into the average price of a house. Eight hundred thousand thousand by the way at for a nice house this is a great depiction of l. a. I'm sure you guys can see without the smog..
Analyzing California's Governor Recall Election: The Three Waves of Ballots
"There's going to be three waves about that happen tonight. And tomorrow and leading up to the next couple days the first balanced that are gonna be counter all mail in ballots so expect the democrats have a major jump and that tonight but that doesn't mean it's over. The second wave of ballots are going to be people that have voted in person today or they went and dropped off those meal and ballots. Third wave is going gonna be people that meld in their ballots today or a few days before election day so could be short. Night could be a long night. It's always looked now. I believe this thing is razor close. I believe that there is a silent californian voter ready to rise up against the new regime recalls tricky. There's only one other governor that is successfully been able to fight off a recall in recent american political history and that was governor scott walker andrew. You live in california. Stop looking at the polls. Those are all garbage. Those are simulated. What are you seeing hearing on the ground in california. I'm seeing an incredible amount of energy for the for larry elder. You could make the argument that i live in a bubble. I probably do we all do to some extent. I will tell you that this you know you. And i were talking months ago. I was underwhelmed. I didn't think that it really stood real chance. All of a sudden the energy behind the recall movement exploded it was a true grassroots movement. Outpouring i mean you're seeing it in in liberal enclaves strongholds like santa barbara you're seeing it and coastal communities you were seeing massive crowds gather local communities getting together and in ways that i hadn't seen in california in a long time. Now there was. There was trump excitement all this this this blew that away. I will tell you anecdotally. This blew that away. I think there was a collective exhaustion. There's just homelessness everywhere. It's expensive we all look at the state. Is the weather the topography. The just the everything about it. There's so much going for it and to see it being run the way it is. It's it's a
Former Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell: Conservatives Have Already Won in California
"Key phrase is widespread election fraud. How many what was it. A few thousand in arizona than biden won a few thousand a few thousand there. He doesn't take a lot. It doesn't when you've got millions and millions of ballots going through the mail because of co vid. It doesn't take a lot common sense. Americans know this but the left attempts to wear us down axiom with it's ridiculous assertion there is to be clear. There's no evidence of widespread election fraud in california. How would you possibly know that now. On election they publish that before election day. Here was rick grenell last night on fox news. A cut number ten. He's a californian urging republicans to get out and vote and shane in many ways. We've already one look one thing. That's clear is that gavin. Newsom is scared. He's got joe biden here today in long beach campaigning. They are paying people with stimulus. Checks he is calling this the republican recall. He's doing everything he can because they are scared. I think no matter what happens over the next couple of days sean. We've already one we conservatives week we republicans in california. We've already one. We are putting to the vote of the people whether or not the governor is qualified and there is a healthy debate and we know that we have really terrible. Voter rolls here in california. It's gonna take us a couple of elections if we don't do an immediate turn around here with the recall i'm encouraged. I think we're already winning. I hope that every single person who's got a ballot in the mail will fill it out and vote to recall revenue

That i released early right. At the beginning of this broadcast you can find it on on my instagram page. There you see. The american citizens being transported by the united states And here you see The airbus three that is our airplane and that is being loaded with Refugees these are families. Moms dads children. these are christians not entirely christians as we are opening it up to other people that have been I mean if american wants to get onto our plane they can get onto our plane if somebody with With the right credentials wants to get on your plane they will. We're also helping The the members of the supreme court and the court system. That are women to get out. These judges are amazing women. And we're helping them get out. It is sunset. now it's at night things are going to start to slow down Although they didn't last night. While i was on a plane had to land. I've been flying since about this time yesterday. And we had to land in in ireland to refuel and it just got an update. It had to be in the middle of the night in ireland. Nothing was going on. But i had a feeling nothing really goes on in entirely. It was about two in the morning and we got an update and i saw some pictures At night i don't know if we have those pictures up that we can show the tv audience if you're watching on blaze tv but We loaded another plane. I think we have about seventeen hundred people out in the last twenty four hours. We can do so much more so much more but the things on the ground are beginning now to fall apart their reports now that there are people who helped our military during the war that are coming to the airbase of the airport and coming with letters from the military correctly identifying them as people who helped but on the wrong letterhead and are being removed from the airport. not able to get on the planes. Yes this is real. This is a cluster. I mean one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing. Incredible though i mean that's the whole point of zero so tired they they don't have any idea what they're doing. They're not working together. The state department is a complete failure because this is in what they do. The the military does this kind of stuff The good news is that You know we found that the military had airlifted a guy who's on top ten terror list and when he got down so you know these people are they might just get onto the airport and get past a lot of stuff but once they're landing. Yeah it's tougher in these other countries we are. We are finishing the work to vet. When i say we. I mean the united states government. You guys are not. There's that this is a totally different group of people that you're dealing with. Yes yes that's that's one of the things they keep talking about is they're bringing them largely to just different. Us airbases and they can go through and do the sorting process there. There is a A a report that the white house is now upset. They're upset at the way the media is handling the coverage of this. Actually and i will say like this. Someone is mentioned on twitter. And i think this is the way to think about it in some ways. This is the golden age of the media. Right now i've i've never seen them handle a story so well for a multiple week period now. I assume this is going to turn around. And they're going to start saying the probably gonna start listening to the white house but what the white house wants. Is they want props on afghanistan. This is what politico is reporting. They have They say in a spend the week white house went from a struggling to explain a rapidly deteriorating situation in afghanistan to beating its chest. Top biden officials and administration allies have begun aggressively touting the success of their evacuation efforts in the war-torn country offering frequent updates on the number of evacuees. They've framed the operation as historic in. Line with airlift unbelievable unbelievable. First of all it is historic mark. My words in is historic but as people that are on the ground. no this is an absolute. It's an absolute cluster. I mean you know. I hate to bring up. I hate to bring up that isis and al qaeda now have effectively shut the airport a gates. Get anybody in and out of the gates now because they have shot that but now that was just i mean. I don't even know why. I bring that up. That was just five minutes ago and five minutes ago was so long ago. I'm sure they're getting things under control. Now why are we harping on things like that. This is it is deteriorating at a rapid speed. It may not make it to saturday. Helped me with this. Because i've seen this framing often from from the white house and even the media which is we had a situation where as of august i our plan was to have an embassy in kabul with a with a when an afghan army de protecting that city until who knows maybe ear maybe two years maybe five years down the line. Maybe the taliban takes over. Maybe they don't. We'll see what happens. That was our plan as of august. I okay now. We are withdrawing these troops and we keep hearing this framing of biden's timeline of august. Thirty first however what we've seen between august first and august thirty first is the taliban taking over the entire country. The taliban telling us that if a minute past august thirty first they're going to they can't control themselves who knows what will happen. Hostages could be taken people could be killed. Planes may not be able to land safely and then the biden coming on television and all the white house officials saying like. We're gonna do everything we can to get out by august thirty first we. We're gonna try. We're trying to get everyone that wants to leave from afghanistan. That's american because you know there's lots of americans who wanna hang out still. They have gym memberships. They don't wanna they may expire and they don't wanna they wanna make sure they get every day out of membership all this nonsense says if there's people that want to stay in afghanistan. This is not deadline. This is a deadline that the taliban is setting for us is.

We can load. So many people We can have. These planes turned around every thirty minutes. But we can't get the state department to help us now richard. I'm i'm gonna put myself in the role of a really scary president. I think for most people put myself president. You're the adviser and coming at this. The first thing i would say to you is richard. I am smoking mad at the at the state department. Are you telling me that. This isn't the state department's fault this is the military's fault will appear the president. And we're in the situation. I i'm gonna say no sir it's your fault you really If this was donald trump. I wouldn't have to be in this position. But let let's just say that it's a generic president. Because i'm not going to be working joe biden. But let's say that it's a generic president and And and we found ourselves in the situation. I would go in and i would say mr president. You must instruct the secretary of defense immediately to do whatever it takes to airlift americans out immediately. Send as many planes in as you can. Both at bog rem ended up the kabul airport. I don't buy any of this that we can't land ballroom. You can tell. The taliban were landing and we're going to bomb anybody that comes close to our planes. And then you instruct the secretary of state to get all of the american to either place and you make sure that we have an accurate list of everybody. Who is an american who has been approved and they will get out either through kabul or through barbara. How do you support that. Because we're not alone in trying to get people out. How do you support those private organizations. That are also trying to get people out. Well it look. It's the americans. I at this point. You've got to get the americans out. If you're an american you have an american passport Or you are a locally employed. Staff member with an american ide- american government issues d. Then you will be on that list and that you can get out the by the way. I don't buy any of this secretary. Blinken doesn't know the exact number. Of course he knows the exact number hard to know how many americans are in germany. But it's really easy to know how many americans are in a conflict like afghanistan people. Don't move to afghanistan as americans did not stay connected to the embassy. that's just not reality. How many were gonna leave behind richard. The way we're going now. I pray to god every day zero because if we leave anyone behind that as a hostage situation and again this is. I don't understand how the secretary of state of the united states could sit in cabinet meeting and allow these decisions to unfold leaving american behind this. This is a job of the secretary of state. And i can tell you that that the foreign service i've worked at the state department for years. I know many foreign service officers who voted for george joe biden who are furious with what is happening at the state department. There are calls for for secretary of state. Lincoln and deputy secretary of state. Wendy sherman to resign disgrace from the foreign service. These people are outraged that they are being tagged as sloppy or bureaucratic or unable to do their jobs. Richard we have about forty thirty forty seconds to answer this. How badly damaged is our relationship with great britain germany and france. All of our allies will look. I have to say as knowing chancellor merkel on fairly well go sit there for a long time. They want joe biden. The international community wanted to by and they wanted the united states that wasn't heavy handed and didn't lead and allow them to do what they think though. They've made this bet some winds. They helped electro by richard grenell former acting director of national intelligence. Always great to talk to you sir. Stay safe thank you for sues the glenn beck program right now. We have an administration that can't even be bothered to get its own citizens out of a dangerous country. Let me tell you about one group. You can count on. its amac. The association of mature american citizens. It's a seniors group. That now has over two million members strong. And it's growing and this is why it's so important. They believe in the constitution. They fight for the first amendment second amendment all of the even the third amendment. Believe it or not they fight for all of them they believe in national security and sovereignty over unchecked borders. They believe in the sanctity of life and they have a full-time presence in washington and there is strength in numbers. We've got to stand together. Franklin said we are all hang together. We'll hang separately amac. Their membership comes with a wealth of benefits and discounts.

I am But we are deep in the middle east and Overseeing some of the operations of the nasreen fund and hopefully i will be able to bring personal experiences as we meet and greet some of these people that are coming through however some of the countries that are taking them just to get them off the tarmac there being thwarted by the state department. I wanted to talk to richard grenell because he used to be the director of national intelligence And that was the guy who was supposed to oversee the cia and in everybody and i don't know if he knows but i would like to know. Is this all biden. Is this a plan. What's happening to our state department. What is the military doing. Who are we anymore. Richard grenell joins us in sixty seconds. But nobody wants their name known not to the rest of the world but to the middle east because they are so afraid of reprisals from the taliban from now a reconstituted al qaeda and isis and I don't think anybody trusts america anymore. I know i don't recognize my country anymore. It's embarrassing richard. Grenell is with us. He was the former director of national intelligence. And i mean i just. I love this guy richard. How are you sir. thanks for having me. I'm really a pleasure your thank you. What can you tell us on what's going on. You know it's very frustrating because what what is really important for our listeners. Understand right now. Is that what is happening. Was not an intelligence failure. Everyone's feel very good about the fact that the us government intelligence officers The people you pay to join foreign service that the united states and go work in our embassies overseas our military day reported they saw the rise of the taliban early was being reported in may of this year that is out of control certainly even before. May we See that the taliban was going to take advantage of the administration important to remember that this was not an intelligence failure. A political failure to political class in these ignored the warning. Let me push back on. Yeah just to play. Devil's advocate and sunday. Believe any of this but biden will say well that was just one of many voices and course there were the voices that said it. Would you know but but everybody really said that. It was going to be fine. I think The reality is that that's not true. There were plenty of warning from state in intelligence officials. Let's let's just be scotty miller. Who was in charge of bog rem He warned biden directly and jake sullivan directly. I have this As fact he warned that if you shut down by And you take away the twenty five hundred troops you will quickly have five thousand. Nato troops follow you with leaving. This will be a disaster. The taliban we'll see this as their opportunity and you won't be able to respond. Look in the trump administration. Let's remember glad that are january twenty at this year. Donald trump handed joe by a stable afghanistan. it's functioning embassy at the us embassy kabul and a taliban that was deathly afraid of bombed. If they took over a city the the problem is not talking to the taliban. The problem comes in in. What the taliban. Here's and what the taliban heard under donald trump is we cannot reconstitute. We cannot go forward and take over a city. We will get and obviously once job. I took office. The taliban completely had a different calculus. They did not hear that. They started to take city by city and nothing happened. That encouraged them to take over the whole country. Our troops were withdrawn before we evacuated the embassy. Look i don't say this lightly. But for a secretary of state to sit in cabinet meetings and allow the military to leave afghanistan before state department. Employees are evacuated that has abandoning state department officials. Foreign service officers. Good americans we should not allow us to happen. The secretary of state should resign in disgrace for allowing the military troops to leave before we evacuated the embassy the foreign service officers in these embassies. They don't carry guns. They're looking for political solutions. They're doing applications for immigrants. Who want to get out. These are front. Line workers for the united states of america and pushing are good brand. They don't have guns. They are not equipped in a hostile situation. They should be protected. Otherwise if they're not going to be protected they should be evacuated and they weren't explicit shameful. I spent ten years department. And i'm outraged that.

"All these people are going to be slaughtered. Richard just slaughtered. It it is. American are going to be Held hostage if we don't get this right. And i think that what we can do it first of all. We have very poor choices right now. We are in a corner. We have a variety of really bad. Wait wait wait. Wait if i'm president of the united states and you come in to me and this is going on. i say i'm gonna air lift. You know ten thousand marines. And i'm gonna clear that damn area out and get our people out. Isn't that an option that is absolutely and that's a dangerous option but it is an option that i think we have to look at Because all resources should be used the us government resources to get americans out My my point is we're in a very bad situation with terrible options Which are forcing our hand. Owen and in a messy situation try to clear areas in order to get to the americans. This is causing our american men and women who work in the military to go into an unnecessary conflict zone. They shouldn't be Having to to do this and yet we find ourselves in the situation. But i think articulate very clearly as people who have access to the media and social media on this hearing aids to get the americans home and get them home soon. Richard grenell former acting director of national intelligence. Always great to talk to you. Stir sir stay safe and thank you this is the best of the glenn beck program representative chris. Stewart is with us now in washington dc. Hi chris are you in good morning. Glenn i'd say thank you. God bless you for you in the nazarene fund and the you know the hundreds of thousands of people maybe more who have contributed That kind of effort is what's so important right now. You know chris I i was talking to richard grenell about an hour ago about this debacle and the white house is is is now saying to the press. They're demanding you know a little a little pat on the back for how well this is going now. I don't think i've ever seen anything worse than this. And it gets worse by the hour. Yeah this is. This is a generational failure glenn. I really believe that. Just like we see pictures of saigon evacuation. The helicopter at the top of the embassy and every american knows what that is even though it took place fifty years ago fifty years from now our grandkids. We'll see pictures of those eight hundred afghans in that c. Seventeen and they're gonna know instantly. What is this will be remembered. And it's not going to be remembered as a great success. For president biden it will be remembered as the greatest failure in a generation. And how they can try to twist this and try to turn the narrative that they should be congratulated. Well it's beyond description but american people aren't that stupid and they're not looking at this thinking man they've done a great job and even the press for heaven's sakes recognize it now i expect and i'll bet you do as well. The press will eventually turn on this and try to create the impression that it was handled. Well no way in the world. They're going to be able to pull it off. It's just such a catastrophe. It can't be refrained as anything other than that. Do you believe that you know. We're pulling troops out beginning today today. The the airport is a mess their pictures now of people standing in you know knee deep in sewage. Just trying to get close to the gate to to show their passports to show their papers that they should be led into the gates in the white house. Says we'll have everybody out. We'll have everybody out that you know a us citizen..
Will Donald Trump Run for President in 2024?
"President to santa's is sworn in at noon on january twentieth. Twenty twenty five is the first guy he fires chris. Wray or general mark milley. Well i would. I would actually think since one of his campaign shirts Says don't sell my florida. I think he's i think he's might might be looking in that direction. i Race we we'll see. I think that all depends on what What former president trump decides to do. And then i think we're going to have a ripple effect from there. Well my my thought. Is that the president who has a big supporter of and i went to nevada with rick. Grenell to lawyer on his behalf after the disputed election of last november. I kinda i kinda think. Donald trump probably not going to run for a of reasons All of which make make make good sense you know. He's he's getting older ones. Spend time and i think he'd make a heck of a kingmaker. What do you what do you think. Do you think suppressants gonna run again. I think if If the decision were today. I put my money on he does. He's still fired up. And every time i've seen he's got a lot of energy and and what i enjoy and talking to them is just talking about all the things that he got done. He did it nearly as downloading What he what. He got accomplished that people in washington. Dc been opining about and hand wringing about for decades. We're not going to go through this. We're not gonna have a recall. It's too risky now. The gavin newsom people. I mean it played an essential role in the founding of our nation. George washington called it. The bread basket of the revolution Because of the farmers at the time it was the largest county now it's the third largest county but it has gone crazy with critical race theory so much so that The the have a facebook group the people who are on the side of critical race theory. There's a facebook page that is trying to docks. I the parents. Now they're starting to docks the kids That are part of families that are against critical race theory. And the last i read one of the the county attorney's i think the top county attorney for loudon county was was on that facebook website. Saying keep doing this. You're doing exactly the right thing. It is it's crazy what's happening. One of the people one of the families that are are suing the county now is a mom. Patty hildalgo menderes is on the phone with us now. Patty welcome to the program. Hi glen thank you for having me. It is the world is upside down in loudon county. Isn't it yes it is. I've lived here for almost twenty three years and two of my sons have gone through the loudon county school system with no problem. Math science english was taught kind of the way we expected. I moved to this specifically for the school system. Twenty three years ago and now with my last son who's a sophomore in high school. We are just finding so much upside down. Indoctrination what did you. What have you found so honest. I'm the president of the loudon county republican women's club and many of my club members feel trust that they can trust me whether it's teachers or parents. They sent me screenshots of what the teachers some teachers are. Teaching and one in particular was a high school english senior class and the teacher had a screen with a white girl and a black girl and kept bullying this student to say what do you see. What do you see and the kid is like. I only two people chilin. Yes so that was uncovered because my clem members sent that to me and that opened my eyes to what's happening then in the next couple days i get my clem members sending me screenshots that my name with blacklisted in that anti-racist facebook page and that opened my eyes to how how crazy. They're thinking that we as parents are the opposition. I mean there were six school board members in that anti-racist facebook page yes the commonwealth attorney. Buddha bouba ridge was in that group as well even the principle of my son's high school now whether they knew or not they let this mob blacklist us and they listed my first and last name they listed my name of my husband where my son goes to high school. And three pictures of me glen. They called me a racist and the irony in that is my parents escaped from communist cuba. I know darn well. Socialism looks like because they taught me and they taught me to appreciate the freedoms that we've been given here in the us so when they call me a racist. I got mad. And i went to the school board meeting. We only allowed to public comments sessions. A month and i told them to their face. How disappointed school board. That you let this mob go after your constituent. The parents of the students that you're supposed to represent and take care of our children. Your county attorney. It's it didn't stop. I think it got worse. If i if i'm reading things right because now they were saying on that facebook page. We've got to find out more about these kids and send us anything you have on any of the kids. So they're doc seeing the kids and then you're county attorney joined in and said this is the right thing to do this is. This is insane that it's happening in america. They we were able to foia and find out that this these school board members and wanted to silence the opposition they want. It's a war against the parents that believe in this indoctrination. They say it's not critical race. Theory they say they're not teaching that but you know what they use other words. They use equity culturally responsive training. And yeah they are. They are duxing our children. You know i. it also goes to The kids that Go so we had an opportunity to either do in person or distance learning and majority of the conservative families did send their children to in person. So i feel like that's another avenue where they're able to see who these families are that pose.

"Doing a very good job right now because we don't have the help of the media so we only have a couple of minutes left and i want to ask you first of all the intelligence arm of the post office. When did that happen did you. Did you know about is bid it mail ahead and i. It's mail fraud it. You know a lot of people have been using the postal service to to push You know fake and phony and even terrorist support mechanism. So that's real but you know to be honest. It should not be enough. I had more time at the. Nih would've changed this. It should not be based within the postal service You know it and and technically it's it's not they'll tell you that the intelligence gathering as a as an arm that just works with the post office but the reality is is that after nine eleven we realized that our intelligence agencies were getting the pieces of problems but not communicating linking those together. And so i think it's a huge mistake to actually create another bureaucracy because the bureaucracies aren't talking to each other and that's what we did with The deny with when we created the office of the director of national intelligence in theory a coordinating body and it was to be a hundred or two hundred people coordinating now. It ballooned to eighteen hundred people plus. Oh it's a competing body. It competes with the other agencies. And there's overlap i tried. I went in and removed three hundred fifty people and of course politico all of the washington. Dc media attack nonstop that. I was Dismissive counter-terrorism but the reality is is that we have intelligence agencies. And i think this is what you're getting at that. Overlapping do things that already others are doing. And so it's not smart because our tax dollars are being wasted and we're not able to do as much because we're spending Double money on the same problem. And sometimes it's way a total way will i. I bring it up richard. That's the one that is saying that white supremacy is the biggest you know they're the ones issuing the warnings That biden in homeland. Security are using some information from the post office. Which i find is amazing richard. Honestly i wish you were running for governor of california. But i guess that's that's out of the picture here. Here is the reality glen. I i keep saying that I care about the long term future of california and that is that is the truth. And so i want to do the things that we can do in california that sticks the problem. I am not convinced that the current state of california politics of having recall and getting Somebody in i would say in. November is when the democrats are thinking of having an election. is going to fix the problem and i think we've got an electorate right now. That is incredibly frustrated and to tell them that the only thing that we have to do is just send a temporary governor to sacramento. Who would go up to sacramento and stays a super majority in the senate against him or her and a supermajority in the family against him. Or you can go. Every single bill and the next day get overridden and so what. I am watching. Before i make any decision is what are the democrats gonna do with this frustrated electric. What they have said they're going to do is they are pushing a decision out to about september on when and if the recall now we have enough signatures on the recall but the if part is the democrats control the state they control the the secretary of state..

I mean i'll go follow you around if that's what it takes but i just i have so many things zoya. Okay so let me get because we have such limited time. Let me get to some Some things that are on my mind. let's start with the hacking i've never seen administration say well. This is a private company. That is being hacked. A they should pay the ransom. But that's up to them and and it looks like they're coming from china in some of these the transportation one in new york city but the rest of them are coming from russia. Any chance that putin doesn't know that this is going on. Look let's be very clear. All of the world leaders right now are testing the biden administration. These increased hacks are because they're trying to see how biden is gonna react. They're trying to test the limits. How far can they go before we react. We the united states of america and they do those lines very clearly under the trump administration. They knew exactly if they did something. That impacted america that there would be an immediate and bigger reaction. The bigger reaction is the key here because what the message is sent. When you put america first is we will protect our people first and we will have overwhelming force. That will come at you whether it's sanctions. Terrorists air strikes. Donald trump used every single tool that the united states government had to protect us. Well joe biden is going to go over and talk to putin. I can't imagine how badly that's going to go. But a is are we sending. What message are we sending back to them. And how bad does this have to become before. it's an act of war. I talked before the campaign. I talked a lot about joe. Biden's global philosophy and he believes in consensus with The rest of the world and certainly the importance of consensus with western governments. Now that sounds amazing right. It sounds like can't just hug it out and get along but the practical reality is is that we have a different of opinion even when it comes to western allies like germany. If you're going to put as the priority that the german government has to agree and complement our positions. That you've just watered it down and let me give you the perfect example nord stream..

So ryan is the guy who broke that story but he is getting involved now because the cannot he can't believe what's being taught with critical race theory all over the country. If you think it's not in your school it is. He started something to help. People run for school board. Seventeen seventy six project. Pack dot com. We've talked to him. We also talked to a woman in loudon county virginia. Which is it's allison wonderland world. It is completely upside down Where the the teachers and the school board look at parents as if they're an annoyance that just need to be shut down the campaign to shut down. These parents and the school is is unamerican. Luckily there is somebody standing by her and we talked to the woman who is under attack and is suing the county and the school board. We have a conversation that bill. O'reilly of course. It's always great and richard grenell like could spend a day with anyone and just pick his brain. It would be richard grenell. The former director of national intelligence oversaw all of the intelligence. I talked to him a little bit about the that is going on in our food. Supply our gas lines. But also i wanted to know if he had ever seen anything but said white supremacy and donald trump supporters are the most dangerous to our republic over anything else. Joe Biden Announces Nominee For Education Secretary, Miguel Cardona
"Joe Biden. First of all, he held a news conference. And he announced a new member to his diverse cabinet. But there was a little bit of an issue to take a listen to what he says. And then we'll tell you about the issue on the other side today. I'm pleased to announce that such a nominee we have Dr Miguel Cardona. Like other Cabinet nomination appointees. "Adviser three weeks before the inauguration. That's the Democrats between surveillance classifications, leaks and puppet candidates. They never want the American people to know who's actually calling the shots. With Donald Trump. You always know exactly who is in charge. Because the answer is you. You're in charge, not lobbyists, not special interests, not warmongers or China sympathizers or globalization Fanatics with Donald Trump and Mike Pence in the White House. The boss is the American people. President Trump rightly calls his foreign policy America first. America first does not advance the interests of one group of Americans at the expense of another. It has no bias about red or blue, educated or not educated, urban or rural. America first is simply the belief that politicians should focus on the equality and dignity of every American. And that this duty is fulfilled by promoting the safety and wealth of the American people above all else. That's America first. That's the trump doctrine. And that my friends is four more years. It's Ric Grenell, the former acting.
Serbia-Kosovo talks 'back on track
"Now Serbia has refused to recognize Kosovo's statehood since Kosovo unilaterally declared independence from Serbia in two thousand and eight, nearly a decade after a very bloody war dialogue between Belgrade and Prishtina began in two thousand eleven, producing some thirty agreements most of them, though a not observed, but after talks broke down a couple of years ago, the parties are communicating again with both the EU and the US weighing in well for more I'm joined by James, Kara Lindsay who's visiting professor at the NFC and author of the politics of recognition and engagement, e you, member-state relations with Kosovo James Let's begin with the US involvement. Where do we stand with this? Well. There was a lot of excitement that the united. States was getting involved in this process a couple of years ago. There was a sense Washington really wants it's gets are. Big International Agreement. This was going to be one of trump's moments of glory. That was going to get reelected. And so there was a lot of activity that was going on. By the United States role, the separate from the e U process switch continuing as you've noted since two thousand eleven. But recently it's basically collapsed in this collapse for number of reasons one because they would charges brought against the presidents of Kosovo. For War Crimes but also I think that we just up against the clock in the United States Rick. Grenell the US ambassador to Germany, who was handling this? It looks like he's going to be very involved in trump's reelection campaign, and as we know it less than four months to go before the US election. I, think the latest sellings way hand over to Europe is saying look I've. Got To be dealing with now, so the ball is very very certainly back in the European court now and there was a video summit on Friday chaired by the the the Cherry double-act Merckel macron. What what transpired? The the problem as Well. There's a whole range of problems. As again as you noted as being a range of agreements have been put in place over the past, a number of years most which haven't really been observed, but there's also been deep divisions within the European Union about what they want. Now there's been a number of proposals being coming forward a nice been suggestions that the President Sukasto vote and Serbia. Actually at one point very close to a deal, but controversially that would include some so the territorial swap and we know that Germany in actual fact Britain as well a very very opposed to this. The. Americans on the other hand seem to be open to the idea although they seem to be a rowing buckle now now. I'm so the probably essentially have is that we need a big picture secondments here and the Europeans have been pressing so small normalization agreements, which is all very well and good boots. As I'm saying I worked Cypress pathetic years, and these small agreements, a justice difficult to get into place, and even more typical in many ways to implement than actually spending time focusing on a big picture final deal, and so I think this is the real question about half now. Is it going to be back to try to get these piecemeal agreements that don't really work or all week in the focus on the big picture? Final settlements. Will really put this issue behind both Kosovo. and Serbia and of course that question becomes very urgent, because it looks as if the leaders of Serbia in Kosovo will meet face to face in Brussels later this week. Yes I'm I mean to be honest with you? I don't think anyone's really expecting that. We can see any big breakthroughs now. and I again. I'm I'm very very skeptical that you're really even knows what it wants. the IT could be a return to these sort of. These small bitsy talks which you don't get me wrong. These are important things that needs to be doubts which will make long foot for people in costumes survey much better. But like a Lotta people a my view is the you sold. If they were the big picture deal, anyway and so what you're doing is many ways wasting time on energy block treasurer on all these trying to get these small agreements, which in the end don't really get implemented because that fundamental big picture agreement so. I I think the big problem here is that it's it's. Europe's coming at the wrong way. I mean Europe officials as saying that resolution is the only way that Serbia and Kosovo seek to become members of the EU. Do you think that that's a big enough incentive? Well. I mean I. Get sent certainly in Kosovo there is. A growing realization something needs to be done so often. Votes Clayton dependency. The was that we go from. There was a we've got. The Americans behind US rebuilt the British the French recalled Germans. They're going to go out and tell. The world recognized Kosovo and in the first few years. That seems to be what was happening and we got to a point where about one, hundred ten or hundred thirteen of the one hundred ninety three members of the UN recognized. Kosovo But Russia and China refuse to recognize it, so that prevents full you and membership, but what we've seen in the past couple of years is Serbia's lobbied countries to withdraw that recognition of Kosovo is now recognized about ninety seven countries so I think in Prishtina this realization if we want to join the UN if we want to be a normal, fully accepted country on the world stage, we've got to reach a final deal with Belgrade. What is it that we? We can offer Belgrade. The Belgrade might be willing to accept. The trump is what it sink. President Sanctuary was willing to offer Belgrade's. The German said No. We're not willing to allow it to go that far because if you stop changing borders between Serbian, Kosovo. Even if this is consensual, you'll not problems north Macedonia and Bosnia so we we have a fundamental problem here of how we're going to deal with something that frankly speaking could be dealt with sally easily. If, there was sort of coincidence abuse amongst the Americans, the Europeans, subs and the Kosovo Albanians James. Thank you very much? Indeed, that's James Collins.

How Voice Affects Moods with Margareth Jabczynski, Conversational Designer
"Margaret. Thank you for being here. Thanks for having a Carey so as I just said. You have a background in anthropology and ethics in linguistics. How did you make the transition into voice? And why did you do so so for me? Many things came together in voice design. Compensation Design after I graduated. I started a PhD in linguistics about context for markers those little words that in themselves. They have no meaning but in the context. They actually do a lot. After that. I realized I need to get a real job. Said became a copyrights and transitioned I into language. Learning and I started a smarter. German which is a company that is teaching and producing German learning materials. And that's where I worked a lot and also worked with students when one and trained them to speak German engineering. And that's how I realized because you know we're we're producing anyways. A lot of material music anything you can imagine swirling running and then I realized hey actually like after two thousand compensations on doing the same dial of patterns over and over and it takes people like n sessions for me to get fluent a bit in small. Why don't they train? I which some voice interface before they get into. You know the real thing with me. And that's how I dropped it. The first voice kill. I bought all the books and went to workshops about you. Know Voice Design Conversation Design and its technology and I started to drop. My first skill was mafia German. And Yeah I found another company doing a great thing like the have a compensation design platform which you can use without code which we have that here and there but it's two years ago. What was exciting new? And that's how I got into voice. And what year was that that you started doing the voice skill. I've been her years ago. It was the end of two thousand seventeen. Which is still pretty early. I mean how did you even hear about voice? I mean I know you're located in Germany. Where did you hear about it so Berlin has a very open startup seeing? And you know you'd go here and there you hear things and smarter January. We're always looking for technology that can help other nurse and Yeah I just got in touch with some people who actually do this and yeah. That's how I tall. What is possible? When would I can learn? Do I love that? And one of the things. You told me that you are really passionate about is intonation and sentence melody when it comes to conversational design for voice. How does Voice Affect Moods differently? In accordance to cultural backgrounds. I love this question. I have so much to say I will just tell too little stories decay. I think they gave a good example so when I was teaching German. I was teaching Vietnamese Students. Who was pretty flew under ready? We call it be one. That's quite fluent level in. She was able to use the grandma perfectly. The intonation was annoyed or grumpy are pissed off. That's how I would use my my sentence melody when I would be pissed off. And she said things like May I say German or I can also say it just sending unwed so she said because this is the day to give for me. It's a bit stressful. Yeah this is the way you go when you want sugar market now something like that and the okay. I just you know. That's that was part of my experience. I didn't think much about it but then I started to Vietnamese because I wanted to go to Vietnam for holiday. I always do that when I go to foreign countries and they prepare myself as good as I could and I realized how they actually have the sentence Nama D and if I don't get it then they won't understand me. They say things out condo which means whatever I learned a dialogue or someone wants to order something and the other one stays whatever condo at sounds quite annoying or quite annoyed and this is also a dust. Listen so I realized this is not intentional. Grumpiness this is just a cultural grenell pattern a pattern of fusing sounds and for names to get across a certain message which can be in Vietnamese neutral. Not What's the first story and the stereotypes? I was of course in the time when I started to get into conversations. I was listening to many podcasts. About station design and there was one particular from West Coast from California and from my ears dental. I grew up bilingual but I consider myself bothers German for my German use. It was quite exciting to hear this voice because it sounded like someone on a ferry market like someone shouting and once absolutely wants to sell them something. Hello COM MEMBER WOUND. Do this now. The greatest postcards on urban. We're having you know it's a bit too much and maybe it's just my way. Oh sing it. Because we Germans who had two monotone. But I think there's a lot to gain when we take this into account and of course if I go to West Coast California and speak with my German. Intonation might be taken as a serial killer because might is quite monitoring compare to that
Trump Taps John Ratcliffe for Director of National Intelligence
"It appears trump does plan to use a lot of ratcliffe announcing today that he will nominate Ratcliffe for Director of National Intelligence. Now ratcliffe name sounds familiar. It's because trump did this get and he did. He did this before he was nominated by trump for the same job last July and that nomination was pulled in early August because there was not enough support in the Senate among Republicans over concerns over rat cliffs credentials House Speaker. Nancy Pelosi responded to the nomination. In a statement saying quote Congressman Ratcliffe has shown an unacceptable embrace of conspiracy theories and clear disrespect and distrust of our law enforcement and Intelligence Patriots. That disqualify him from leading American intelligence community. We call upon the Senate to remember that they take an oath to protect America. Not The president and vote against this nomination joining me now. Representative Roger Christner Mortiz a Democrat from Illinois. A member of the House Permanent Select Cup Select Committee on intelligence with John. Ratcliffe UP Congressman. Good to see you again. This one's tricky side. John Ratcliffe for a second. There's a guy he's a guy who's GONNA have trouble getting confirmed there are Republicans have serious concerns and we can talk in a minute. About what the reasons for those concerns are however he's actually going to have trouble getting confirmed the president's other guy who put into place. Richard Grenell is also widely thought to be not qualified to be the director of National Intelligence. But he can only keep the job until March eleventh unless Ratcliffe doesn't get nominated anytime. Soon in which case Greg Elkins Day on the job. So there's some trickery involved here right right. It's something called the Federal Vacancies. Act And perhaps your audience already knows about it. But basically this act enables Grenell to stay for as long as the nomination is pending and then if it fails for another two hundred ten days so practically another seven months after that and then the president could nominate another person and so while we might succeed in other words. This is what the president does got a lot of acting people and he likes exactly he he does. And and Mr Grenell in particular Is is considered to be a political hack and the reason why people are so upset about Mr Grenell In part is that he is basically going to be administering a loyalty test to all the people in the intelligence community whom the president suspects as being part of the deep state and this review is going to basically happen during the pendency of this nomination of Mr Ratcliffe and maybe beyond and grave damage could be done not only to the intelligence community but our national security in the meantime right. And here's the issue and I want to remind people about the history behind the director of National Intelligence and the intelligence problems that contributed to nine eleven. Right there was. There's some thinking and I want to Monday morning quarterback but there's some thinking that if all our intelligence organizations had shared their information properly we might have been able to prevent nine eleven. The director of national television's is the person who's supposed to do that. They should be the best informed. Smartest most qualified person in this country. Correct and that does not seem to be a priority to this president. No and and this kind of takes us to pivot point right now which is Is Is the intelligence community going to be led by someone who lives in the world of truth or is it going to be someone who lives in the world of propaganda and in the world of propaganda? You Know Truth Tellers are silenced and political loyalties are rewarded. But we know what that world looks like. We don't have to look further than China and the Corona Corona virus. China is a world of propaganda silence. The critics say silence the truth tellers and now they helped spawn a global pandemic. That's going to kill a lot of people unfortunately and heard a lot of hurt a lot of Americans too so this is why this is a consequence of lying. A little under the radar. But I think this is a a remarkable importance. I'm glad you join me tonight. To talk about a congressman Roger Crystal Mosey. Thank you as always
Intelligence official warned lawmakers that Russia was interfering in 2020 to help Trump
"Secret freezing last week by a top intelligence official Shelby Pearson has put Russian election interference in the spotlight again sources say person told lawmakers the intelligence community believed Russia is taking steps to interfere in the twenty twenty election to help president trump get reelected a source says house Republicans were extremely upset by the insinuation The New York Times reports president trump chastised outgoing director of national intelligence Joseph McGuire for even allowing the briefing to take place the president is replacing McGuire with Richard Grenell the current ambassador to Germany who has no experience in intelligence
Richard Grenell is a disastrous DNI choice
"President trump has long been accused of priding loyalty to him above all other qualities. Way above experience way above independence. His critics such as house speaker. Nancy Pelosi today are arguing that the appointment of Richard Grenell to be the acting director of national intelligence is just the latest case in point. Grenell the current. Us Ambassador to Germany is hardly known for his intelligence expertise. He is primarily known and beloved by conservatives for his outspoken defense advocacy of the president and his policies as C. N. N.'s. Alex Marquardt reports. Grenell also has a long history of rhetorical knife fighting as a fierce even vicious partisan the director of national intelligence is a job that by definition demands experience requires objective presentation of intelligence and a non political approach in Rick Grenell. The president has chosen. The direct opposite are found. The position of director. Nash intelligence a very tough. And so I I can't imagine The challenge that somebody has in that position learning. Abc's of intelligence on the job. American critics like Democratic Senator Ron Wyden on the Senate intelligence committee blasting the choice today as proof that president trump values unquestioning obedience over the safety of the American people. That sentiment echoed by House Speaker. Nancy Pelosi today. Who said Grenell's sole qualification is his absolute loyalty to the President Senior. Republicans though are silent over making Grenell. The acting director which by law is someone who shall have extensive national security expertise. Grenell has no intelligence or military experience. He's the current ambassador to Germany. A loyal attack dog for president trump. Who has a history of vulgar sexist now deleted tweets about women including former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former first lady? Michelle Obama saying Michelle. Obama is working out on the biggest loser. She is sweating on the East Room's carpet. There are times where what was intended to be. Humorous turned out to be not so humorous. While many trump allies want to see the president tweet less Grenell supports. It makes my job so much easier. I like having a president who's willing to be very tough. Grenell replaces acting Director Joseph. Maguire a retired admiral and former navy seal who has been leaving the intelligence communities seventeen different organizations since last August McGuire had stayed under the president's radar rarely speaking in public. But he did voice his support for the whistle blower who sparked the investigation that led to the impeachment of president trump. I want to stress that I believe that the whistle blower and the inspector general have acted in good faith throughout so jake. This now means that yet another player in this Ukraine investigation. Joseph Maguire is being pushed out the news coming the same day that a top Pentagon official John Rude who is also involved was asked to resign truth tellers and non loyalists clearly not valued by the trump administration. Meanwhile Rick Grenell tweeted today that this is a temporary appointment and that the president will nominate someone else to be Director of National Intelligence. Soon
Trump taps Richard Grenell as acting head of intelligence
"Well the key feature of this job of director of national intelligence is overseeing seventeen intelligence agencies in Grinnell has no intelligence experience you hasn't been an executive of a big organization and there's certainly the argument that with trump sort of free wheeling approach you want somebody with a strong steady hand if the head of the intelligence committee one of the key jobs is is overseeing the security of the twenty twenty elections in Virginia senator mark Warner the top Democrat on the intelligence committee says this by by appointing another acting director of national intelligence that the president seems to be sidestepping stepping the Senate's constitutional authority right now it's going to keep being ambassador to Germany even as he takes on this big role well that's what's being reported in a sometimes does happen if you have an official pointed to an acting job they keep their old jobs so this that could well be the case do you think this move so tell us anything about the president and and his relationship with the intelligence community it it really just reaffirms the fact that he's never felt comfortable with career professionals he's he's by pass them for people he sees this as loyalists this is his third director of national intelligence he's on his fourth national security adviser and while the president hasn't had a major security crisis he does have big decisions coming up most immediately possible deal with the Taliban in Afghanistan that's right that's one of the big stories were falling very if your national security correspondent

Eastern time although we have a number of stations that carry the program for more time than that sometimes three or four hours Jordan tell me how the show came about you with the Wall Street Journal I right so the Wall Street Journal launched this in a about two thousand two. I'd like to say I became the host in two thousand five and in two thousand fourteen the Wall Street Journal fired everybody who was in their radio and podcasting unit and one of our. Our partners at the time compass media was selling advertising for the show and sharing revenue with the Wall Street Journal and Compass media said okay. We're already very familiar with the show we will take over the program and become the new syndicator for it Ben. That's basically how that began in January one twenty fifteen basically <hes> started working for a new company but the basics of the show all stay the same. What envoy's downfall tells us about UK-US relations
"We're looking at the crisis. In Anglo American relations following the resignation of Britain's ambassador to Washington Kim Derek who'd been denounced by the the American President Donald Trump as a pompous fool amongst other things joining me on the line from Washington D._C.. Is Our U._S.. National Editor Edward Loose and here in the studio is Jeff Dyer who was Washington correspondent for many years ed first of all. I was just reading an article which would say this is a low point in U._S. U._k.. Relations one of the lowest ready in the postwar period. We're in the midst of the events but do you think that sounds like a feathered. Yeah I mean I wouldn't put it on this guy that suicide nineteen fifty six and of course one or as Johnson comes prime minister seeming he does become prime minister will at least band sort of temporary revival of warm legs between from Britain's prime minister because he's a backer of jokes has been openly scathing Theresa May yes. It's unprecedented to have a president chase a British ambassador out of town like this. It's caused the shots here and I think the fact that the rest of Washington other than the president and some of the henchman around and is shocked you know as everybody else shows there is probably still quite a deep underlying strength of a bias there and we'll to feeding towards Britain yeah just give us a sense of that that unto recap for those who haven't followed. The story what happened was that succumbs diplomatic cables private diplomatic cables were leaked. They said some fanny unflattering things about the trump administration but then the president went ballistic when you say there is <hes> shock in Washington. There is a census there the president trump has overstepped him up because he oversteps all day doesn't he he does I think most people in Washington have been entertained the British residence many times that a web because they see who else is there at the parties and receptions and so forth but the the trump administration senior officials including jared Ivanka John Bolton during the station's defending off at enforce as well and that the idea that for that can dr is some kind of each state anti-trump A._M.. He's not being a neutral diplomat is seen as complete nonsense and have been sort of multi by most people in Washington so I think there's a great deal of sympathy bath. They know that Matt Trump many times when trump tweets out but he's never have a matching that that's false. I think they feel it's a different scale when it's done to a close allies when trump is knifing domestic plan. There's there's a sort of level of embarrassed but in a way quite reassuring well just but of course it comes at a time mm-hmm of great uncertainty British politics and some might think that the Khuda grass for Kim Derek came when in a leadership debate Boris Johnson who's likely to be the next prime minister quite noticeably refused to back him exactly I think rather than a crisis anglo-american relationship this demonstrates that just had diminished politics in both of our countries are at the moment I mean the overwhelming impression of this is the crushing smallness of Donald Trump as president. Here's the man who's the most powerful politician in the world old and chargers powerful military in the world these unable to see his office except through the prism of personal slights and through his bruised ego the revelations in these leaked cables was Kim dire talking about the insecurity of the trump administration and there's no greater demonstration. Demonstration that insecurity in the way the president this week but also British poltics comes out of this episode look incredibly small and diminished and Boris Johnson's behavioral that debate was the biggest example of that where by not defending the British ambassador who did nothing other than what his job is supposed to do. He has let himself and let the country be pushed around be bullied and have its foreign policy shaped by another country striking example of just how or strengthen brexit ears think this is about standing up for Britain taking control how the force of events events is actually giving his ever less control over what is trying to do and in a sense. This is not an isolated incident. It's particularly shocking because it's the United States but in past year and a bit you've had the Russians murdering people on the streets of Britain. You've had the Chinese he's telling the British to get back in their box Hong Kong and over hallway. You have very poor relations with the E._U.. Because of Brexit it does feel as if somehow the rest of the world is sensing that now's the time you can push Britain around that is the impression that ah that's a a very bad situation for post brexit. The new governor Boris Johnson if he does manage to leave the Tober thirty-first as first thing he wants to do is to revive the anglo-american relationship provide the special relationship of the call it and push for a very strong free trade deal between the U._K.. And the U._S. but the dynamic we've seen here is that actually the use is quite happy. President trump is quite happy to slap burden around. He has no particular attachment to any of these old relationships these old alliances and Britain enters. There's into these negotiations and a very very weak position where it's desperate to have a free trade deal with America and we have a very protectionist America first president who's very keen to drive the hardest possible bargain they can and to squeeze and is that that's exactly what you expect will occur if when these much-vaunted trade talks start gather Liam Fox the Brits Trade Secretary was actually in Washington this week yes and came you know decided not to accompany already Ma'am this invited to a steak dinner for the America. Her and getting accompanied them folks to see if I could trump the president's daughter this new columnist or even I'm serious. I'm not that I know who thinks that a trade deal between the U._K.. And the U._S. is a practical aspect of the next couple of years the the MOMS that the trump administration would happen the these are being fairly well fleshed out already would just be politically unpalatable any British prime minister whoever that may be would be unsuitable to the British and that is even presupposing it could to get through Congress. If there's no deal brexit on October thirty first and Democrats kind of representatives would lock any trade deal that resulted from it on the grounds that it would wreck the Irish Good Friday Agreement and you've got a lot of prominent Irish Americans in Congress Shooting Ritchie Neil Chairman of the ways and Means Committee which is the key one for trade deal who said if Good Friday goes up there will be no trade deal so the prospects by medically and economically for U._S. U._K.. tracheal of very very snip and just reverting briefly to this question of the behavior of ambassadors. It's quite striking isn't that actually a lot of Mr. Trump's ambassadors have been much more openly in violation of normal diplomatic norms than Kim dark it was the ambassador in in Germany has more or less openly quartered far-right forces in Europe. Yeah I mean that's the great irony of this woody Johnson in London Rick Grenell Gordon Something Brussels. These people have been agitating against the host governments with the one great exception. If David Cone Beam in Hungary it was blatantly over the pro or back Kim different actually breach any rules these lose that were breached with to leak confidential classified cables to the Daily Mail what he said in those cables with pretty mild in comparison to what American ambassadors didn't cables whatever the well about their government when the wikileaks Chelsea Manning dump my cut several years ago so Kim down actually. Actually hasn't broken any rules or even at anything particularly strong in confidence as you say. There's a great irony and Jeff. I mean presumably we can take on trust the idea that it's going to be slow going on a U._S. U._K.. Trade deal but Boris Johnson and will seek to align himself much more closely with trump administration what areas might he do that in China's and obvious one the trump administration is trying to push much more aggressive posture against China particularly technology so that's one in particular area but I mean ultimately if bortles not become prime minister will all come down to the first few months and whether he can get some sort of breaks deal everything is going to be focused around these first few weeks or months and the brexit negotiations. I think a lot of stuff will be secondary and so the question Asian is can he somehow go to Brussels and come back with some sort of compromise not withdrawal agreement but maybe in the political declaration that attached to the Dole agreement that he can sell as a compromise from Brussels and push a deal through parliament so so while he will make some gestures and some areas I think towards the U._S.. Really everything will be dominated around the the brexit deal and how he tries to push through parliament and ED. I mean this pops to begin to wind up in striking isn't it however the trump administration in some senses has made itself player in the brexit talks trump's stream of abusive tweets included criticism of Theresa May for not delivering Brexit ignoring trump's advice on how to handle the negotiations and one gets the sense is that the trump administration would see quite relish kind of violent rupture between the U._k. and the E._U.. I think that's absolutely right. It's not just trump you see e you as a geopolitical rival as before is John Bolton John Bolton Overseas Germany is the e U and he's being very openly scathing about Germany so it's across the trump administration might compare sectors stay gave a really sort of markedly anti e._U.. Speech in Brussels late last year. There is an undisguised as to see the E._U.. break-up fail for many reasons both and has his own reasons to do with week international organizations and spend much on defense trump thinks that this sort of towel to rip the Pulse America in terms of trade and of course all kinds of people around him who are strong ideological supporters of the likes of Dick to Obam Montana Salvini and Nigel for <hes> so I think this is over time into the trump administration hates the E._U.. And last point than you mentioned Nigel Garage Alec Task Both of you were speculating but it will now as as matter a great deal who Britain appoints as the next ambassador to Washington will it be a standard issue diplomat or will Boris Johnson insist on putting in a political appointee who can suck up to the trump administration more effectively. Somebody like Nigel Ferraz de think it's possible that figure like for our Gopher Jeff I mean publicly Boris Johnson campaign have ruled out some unlike garage but you can can imagine them having conversations amongst themselves whereby the Conservative Party actually faces a very very strong threat from the brakes of Party ferocious party which is essentially a one man band all revolves around the personality and character of Nigel Farage as you can imagine some of his advisers may be tossing around the idea of what we sent him to Washington that actually just spikes the bricks at party that really leaves the way open for Boris Johnson government to dominate the right of British politics but having said that if you weren't actually that he would really because so much ill will among civil service amongst the bureaucracy amongst other people in the Conservative Party. He'll be seemed to be selling out in such a way to more far-right position that I don't think even he would go that far ED. What's your view and I think that's probably right Farraj of course for the same reason I would be to send for charities from my statistical getting rid of her rival point of view Farraj will be dumb to accept it but Farraj loves being in this town? He loves frequenting the trump international. He loves himself.

Many buyers of amac say plane have been evaluating their use of the aircraft the European Union saying just recently, they were issuing a blanket ban. And we heard yesterday from the US that many of the flight attendant the large flight attendant unions had issue joined the chorus of calling for those planes to be banned. Now, we're hearing from the president of the United States that he has issued that executive order that the the planes be grounded. So we will see where this goes from here.
