"So we appreciate his effort each and every week and, of course, Greg dialysis here as well. Tennessee, giving Jacksonville 11 I know The Jags got a big win last week against Indianapolis, but it won't happen this week. It's ground in pounds Touch clock management, and it's Derek King. Just beating your defense to death. So I'm going to take Tennessee, even though that's a lot of points, giving Jacksonville 11 and Jacksonville did show some signs last week, but it won't be anything good this week. Tennessee's just two talented even on defense as well. So I will take Tennessee giving 11 points to Jacksonville, Greg Yeah, The thing that scares me about this game is Gardner mentioned was 1920 from not mistaken and 33 touchdowns last week. I can't imagine him repeating that performance against a pretty stout Tennessee Titans defense. So I'm gonna take Tennessee bum. How's Jacksonville? Cutting I'm going to go with Jacksonville. Too many points. I was looking at Jacksonville maybe even being the upset team this week. So I'm a Tennessee fan, but I think too many points to give Jacksonville and my boy gardener Menchu. He's created a whole cult down in Florida. They they love him. And, you know, that's really what you got to love about the NFL. Just when you think you've seen everything you see this story, this the Cinderella story of garden into the second when no one thought he was going to be anything but really, Ah, backup for his career. He just stayed the course. What do you think? Really? Has other than those those numbers, and Greg just threw out. What is it about him? That has made him more more than just a casual name but a household name in Florida and the National Football League, and he's been successful to toe worries. Now the starting quarterback, Ted He's here, and he's got heat. And oh, doesn't mean he's a legend. I mean, they were masked that looked like he was just and he's a fighter. You're a kid. Go out. You can't count him out. He's going to fight you the whole time. And I think that Jaguars have desperately needed somebody that they could cling onto you like that. And I love it. I think he's great for the game. I think he's definitely great for Jacksonville. Okay, let's take a look at this Colts game, giving three to Minnesota. I picked Minnesota last week didn't happen. Ah, I still I'm a believer in Philip Rivers. But this game right here is going to be a barometers for us how much gas he has left in the tank. I believe not just for this year, but his future is already decided He's going to be a high school coach when it's done. If he doesn't do something big in this game, I'm going to start to question if maybe it's not time for him to get the whistle. And head to the sidelines and do some high school Friday night lights stuff, but still a good player. And today is the type of game he needs to step up and be great. I will take Indianapolis, giving three against Minnesota and Kirk Cousins. So you're next. Go ahead, Greg. Yeah, I'm going to Indianapolis to I can't imagine that had to be an aberration with Jacksonville did it again last week. So in there to have a football team with great of an organization I like Indianapolis today, giving the three points. Then has the Vikings. Okay, Teddy. I like Indianapolis. I like I like Rivers. I They're going to be just a fun team to watch this year. I think so on DH. They're a good team. Good organization like Greg said. They're very good team. Very disappointed. Minneapolis. I thought they'd have a little more firepower, but I'm going Indianapolis the way by the way, Happy birthday to our producer who is turning 33 years young tomorrow and he said We were all wrong as far as our picks on that last game, so we'll give him a little birthday wish and tell him he knows nothing that he's talking about. Okay, let's go. But anyway happy birthday to Big Ben Buffalo of giving four against Miami. Nothing makes me happier to see Buffalo winning. I'm taking the bills, giving Miami four points Great. Yeah. Come out of the bloc Looking pretty good. So I I'm gonna join you. And then in selecting the Buffalo bills for this one giving before wants to Maya. Okay, Teddy. Jerry. I like Buffalo. We're in for a tough week. This week. It's two too many for a nose. Well, you know what you're doing? It's a tough week. You just disappear. Nobody confined you. You understand what I mean? Like gone. See if you get a bye week. No. You get a court of Miller lite and disappears. What you do. All right here. Here we go. Guys up next San Francisco, giving the Jets seven something about Jimmy Garoppolo and I should be all in but I'm not. But I like the Jets, and I know lay beyond bells a question. I don't know if he's even gonna play today, but for some reason, I'm just gonna go out there on the limb where I've been most of my life, and I like to get back in it soon as I can. I'm gonna take the Jets by the way giving or getting seven points Great. The Love Bell is out this week. Rob. I think he's gonna be out for a few weeks without after injury, but I think that the seven points is too much. And as I said last week, I think this This jinx of losing Super Bowl team not rallying the following year and not me. And making the playoffs on a number of occasions is going to continue for the 40 Niners. So I'm going to take the Jets with seven points. Bum has the 49. Okay, go ahead. I would like the 40 Niners. Given the points I think they cover Okay, Rams. This is kind of odd. Only spotting the Eagles appoint. Maybe some folks really still believe in the Eagles. I'm not one of them right now. But I'm going to take the Rams giving the Eagles one point. Go ahead, Greg, you're up next. Yeah, And it's funny. Where have you been? I've been kind of identical all the way through here. That wasn't intentional. I have my tricks already lined up on my shoes here, So I'm not not like I'm copying your brother. But I do have the Rams in this one. I think their defensive line is so strong that they're going to overcome the cards. Carson Wentz let Eagles Ben also has the OK, go ahead, Teddy. So I'm gonna shake it up. I'm going Philly. I like the way they can come back after a couple of losses. They are after a loss like that. They've done it before. Um, rams. I love the way they're planned. I love their coaching. But I think Philly is just too good of a team to just lay down. I think they they they win this one after one week as a starter in Tampa Bay during the regular season, everyone's saying it's time for top Brady to retire. Ladies and gentlemen, I'm not so sure about that managed tough being Tom Brady, but we're going to talk about why they're giving 7.5 to Carolina. And does he really need to win big today against this very meager Carolina defense will talk about that. Next as we walk the line with Ted or No Ben, Comatose and Greg Dialogues on news.

"About that. Greg. Yeah, Getting Ryan McDonagh back into the lineup, I think would be a huge boost for the team. But like you said, I think the Lightning really deserved to win that game. It was a great game overall. But They took kind of what they did in the 2nd and 3rd period of Game one and picked up where they left off. So I think it's it's important that they were building on their on their great play. And, you know, we saw a lot of players step up and the small details of the game and therefore check and Puck pursuit the Gord line, You know, that was huge again, and we knew they were going to be a fact they're coming into the Siri's Lightning have four lines deep in a deep back and as well seeing which Shen and Coburn We're able to do in their first playoff game. Thought they looked great and a couple of shifts just watching Luk Shan, where I thought he was. You know, in the right place the right time. He makes his son a great shift. He makes that great Plato to break up easy. Two on one past. Basically, these kind of forced to dive in front of as Levski and he gets a stick on it, and that prevents Probably a goal right there so huge to make. You know every player on this team. Obviously, they played on defended as a five man unit tonight, and it was great to watch. So the next game is gonna be a huge one and Hopefully, the lighting are able to take what they did tonight and build off of it again. Haley. Thank you. NCAA cancels all winter, spring championships over Coronavirus concerns
"Welcome you to the final hour. We came on early today and We could probably be her all night and we still wouldn't Maybe get everything in for those of you just joining us It has been another one of those days. The conference tournament started getting cancelled About eleven o'clock today the SEC. Making it official about an hour and fifteen minutes before tip off and then the big one came down late in the day the NCAA canceling not only the men's and women's tournament but wiping out all of their winter and spring. Championships are commissioner. Greg Sankey joining us about ninety minutes ago reacting quite quite negatively to what he was hearing At the same time most of us were John. Who's been covering this story? Four for days if not weeks The senior sports editor at AOL DOT COM in Alabama. Joining us. John. Thank you very much as always I mean it's there's so many layers of this Of all these fast moving events What has stood out the most to your well. Let's start with what you're talking about. I think Greg's common illustrates something that I find fascinating about what happened in the last forty eight hours and I think she's really illustrates the fact that you're the NCAA and its member conferences. I've not been on the same page about things. I think that the NCAA's outfit yesterday that it was GonNa be carrying on. Its TOURNAMENTS ABOUT FANS. Caught a lot of these different conferences off guard and really. Kinda put him on the defensive because all the pressure and attention to turn to them you know. Why do you having these days with fans and the kind of dental fad? And today you saw all the different conference tournaments within like an hour of her so cancel and then I turned all kind of pressuring attention back to the NCAA. If you've just seen in the last twenty four to forty eight hours these you know the NCAA which represents confidence not doing a great job communicating. Its decisions and and decision making process which I think will certainly illustrated in the conference of Greg. Yeah and John. Yesterday I thought it was even more on display when Everyone Was CAUGHT OFF guard. All the commissioners were caught off guard when the NCW dropped the original story And I know Mark Camera. Got A lot of praise for that but that was before we found out you in particular being a reporter. What was really going on that Greg Sankey in Nashville and John swaddled in Greensboro and and Kevin Warren in Indianapolis and everyone else didn't know anything about it. Yeah you MTA got Yar Win. Visit and could be fair. I think they've made the right decision. But you could've given some of these different conferences or a heads up to give them a chance. You know to to try to do something out. And then you have the come out their decision and we've got reporters Nashville trying to track down Greg. In fact people To get you know. What are you guys going do? And I don't think they were ready for that. And you kind of had to see all these different conferences really have to kind of come together very fast. It's trying to figure out what was going on it. You know it definitely put those conferences and it's tough spot. I don't think they would've allowed fans in if they had given you know they had a better able to come out with the announcement that it did. But you know again. I don't think that there's been a lot of great tricks patient's doctor people outside the SEC. including the SEC. I don't think there was a lot of great vacation between the NCAA CONFERENCES. And that's kind of why you're seeing all these different. Come out at different times. It's everybody's not all on the same page about what they want and what they're gonNa do to prevent this pandemic running further. John is Thursday and it seems like this week has been going on forever and I WANNA I WANNA go back to earlier in the week. You are communicating on Sunday About the crisis That was literally going on all over the world and especially Closer to where we live in this country and I just wonder I. It seemed like the sports world. Was you tell me if this is the correct word? Maybe just a little bit tone deaf or slow to react because at that point in time. I don't think really anyone was thinking about this worthy. I totally agree with you. I know you and I were getting and you know I think people when I was reaching out to different people about what I feel about it. It was treated as a warped that you know. Maybe it's not a good idea to go to these different conferences tournament. You know early something which that only a few days ago that was treated that way out there and it was at the further you and a hamster popular people on social media on TV shows kind of continuing to these opinions that the viruses that big of a deal worth the flu and all these different opinions protecting
Exclusive Interview with Playwright David Mamet
"And we continue our conversation with novelist playwright screenwriter David Mamet and his new book Chicago we're talking about his life in the town he grew up in and David entering high school so I went to a public schools when my last couple years of high school I moved him with my dad my step mother Judy I went to a magnificent school called the Francis Parker school and started we became friendly with the family on second city started working as a as a busboy at second city let's see three shows a night of improvisational comedy which really gave me the book and then low there we are up to date talk about it if you can the influence of your dad that is psychologically you know it it sounded to me like he was one of those old school tough guys and nothing you could do would quite measure up you have a quote in an article New York or you said the virtues expounded by and we're not creative but remedial let's stop being Jewish and let's stop being poor talk about those kinds words well you know you are you asking what my dead many times every day with thanks and he grew up in a family of father is father deserted the family and so he was raised by a marvelous mother my grandmother me a dork but he was a liberal school father but the most more important thing is that he was a magnificent role model Chrissy work like a dog you work all day and come home and change in his pajamas and a bathrobe and he does dinner sitting at the dining room table while working on the briefest of the next day and will one day he was working really hard is very anxious I said you know better said you don't don't worry about the results you're doing your best and he said they don't pay me do my best to examine a whim so what times of thinking of giving up on the time so they don't get into giving up I remember you know like like him I got the best job in the world and I have a talent for it at a pace around so to work harder here's a quote in that other New York that New York article I told you about that was I think telling you say quote your time at the whole house theatre in Chicago it was the first time in my confused young life that I learned that work is love talk about that well whole host there there was a great run by a man named Bob signature and all the community theaters run across country doing Charlie's around in the impossible years once in awhile to really older they do the importance of being earnest yourself but second year was doing to break by brown and those three penny opera marshes golf place and he just kept everybody there will not rehearsing and we all knew on how we knew what we did that when we were doing those players there wasn't any better you are being done that might any place in the world but we trust me was just your love and help people hurried home twelve hours after street job spent twelve hours working with Paul who was marvelous one of your colleague said we invented this myth of the Chicago theatre scene what made the Chicago scene so great was that no one cared the audience didn't care they were profoundly indifferent to everything we did there is real freedom and that isn't there David well there is but you know I don't know if that will serve the clinical of that's that was Gregory Loescher said Greg yeah but not at this time I think it's all the poetic because what I remember is quite the opposite when I have you know me and Billy Macy and Steve Shepard because we're a theater over on on Halsted street and people come up to a mystery neighborhood people and they'd say hello good play last month Dave understand that they're entitled to have a good time and no one's asking them to be athletes but rather we're grateful to him to show up and if they say Jeez well spreading and tell my friends what could be better I don't think there were different I think that two things made missing one was the audience and the other one was a Richard Christian so much public Daily News and what were your thoughts about critics is your young writer coming up well I mean it's it's it's it's so holes you know I mean they were than they are now but there are exceptions and a couple of the great exceptions came out of the city Chicago more than the old one of them's Roger Ebert rest in peace along with gene Siskel who did a lot to shape American movie making and the other one was Richard question some of the Chicago Daily News along with one the size of the sun times culture critics of wall this is great thank you here's what I like they understood themselves as part of the article process rather than as as people given out of free ride up the car well you've done something that very few people done we've had some novelist make their way to screen writing and that's happened to quite a number of times for Mario Puzo I mean we can name a lot of folks who've written novels and written grain spring break screenplays yeah but you go ahead and you start this thing called screen writing which is so different David it's such a different town so many actors of a hard time going from the big screen to the big stage it's such a different craft how did you did you just do it did you just have a sense for it talk about that transition where what part of it you know when I was a kid I went to the neighborhood Playhouse school York for a year and before you came to give you a reading list of about fifty books of course I read my loan and a lot of them were by the Russians of Stanislavsky and of the talk on call from Meyer hold memo Richmond check when the old order books and some of them would buy the people who'd worked with the Moscow art theater and then went on to film and I was really fascinated by we all making what they said was the audience instance film as the juxtaposition of images the image doesn't need to be inflected the juxtaposition tells the story the famous examples the young woman shot one a young woman her head is down on her arms she raises her head shop to a judge sitting at a hi the US wraps his gavel okay sample to shop woman someone senshot young woman her head on her and she raises her head shop to have seen through a door baby standing up in a crib crying right so would be ideal we get from the first hearing the verdict and the ideal we get from the second is a mother's attention but the first shots exactly the same so if you look at what great film actors are doing they're doing down a little what they have is great courage and understanding not to help bring along you write a lot about this insurance falls by the way you have a you have a lot to say in that book about acting but one of the interesting thing was was what you had to say about the method acting in a in a lot of the things that were being taught in New York at the time and I don't think you were terribly big fan of the method to be charitable David well there's nothing there it's it's it's a it's a it's a fake mostly Strasbourg my teacher Strafford margin with ladies of the group theatre and you'll be warped both sort of actors in two wells we became directors and theoreticians and the forms to schools Meister school world Strasbourg school award attempt on their part would gentleman to tempt understand what acting was because they were drawn to it they love that they couldn't do it I tried to understand so what we Strasbourg then I don't think he did it on purpose just got toward very lucky is he have a a beginning reputation and so everybody in the country one of the content of the actors studio so we would see a thousand actors and pick through so who's going to pick you pick the people with the greatest talent right so they are going to reflect glory on the actors studio not from anything but he talked them from affected that he chose and so all that psychological warfare that thought I study with a couple of these characters and they were more Spring Valley than anything else I was repulsed I'd played basketball and play sports and sports is all about activity in action it's doing and in large measure these people were putting me on the couch and I I actually resented it was terrible and more good calls for a a co dependent so hopefully a deal between teacher and student and the teacher has to pretend he's teaching something in my thinking I'm a student has to pretend he's learning something he may think he is always really undergoing a shame and so the only way that he can overcome the shame is he that is quick to say you'll pick it up myself or see let me try harder so what you see is a lot of actors who quotes for the the quick method trying harder which although it does take you on the
An Interview With Nicholas Braun of HBO's "Succession"
"Peter travers is this is popcorn where i tell you what is popping in the culture and h._b._o. Has a show called succession which i love. I love every minute of it. I'd even seen the i five episodes of season two how you know things and my guest today nicholas braun place cousin greg makes him a fan favorite and one of the great things about succession. That's rare and television is that season two is better than season one. It's even more decadent than delicious a what do to you. Nick thank you so. Our work is done here all right. That's it. Well yeah thank you well. Let's start by saying the poor benighted souls that had had yet to watch it. They need to know cousin. Greg is yeah yeah yeah. Is this dude cousin greg so the shows about a very very wealthy family billionaire family the movie studios news networks newspapers and amusement parks cruises and cousin greg greg comes in luckily at the right time when the patriots of the family is giving his company to his next to the two one of his children altern and the other kids. Maybe want the job too but this kid kendall's gotten in the pilot. He's gotten chosen and greg comes in. He was working working in the amusement parks. He got a little bit too high. One day ended up throwing throwing up a publicly through his mascot costume through the eye. Holes has one you you know one of those bad trips <hes> we'd can do that. You know he hasn't seen the family and a while and he comes in and <hes> something about him. Strike slogan gene is appealing logan's play by brian cox the hidden in the headman turning eighty and at the end of the pilot everyone's thrown into flux and for whatever reason greg is still in the mix and so i guess that my my arc is sort of finding out. Can i stay in here get in deeper than she does because i think it's great that he can play dumb really well yeah. Is he playing window. You know well. No i mean there's calculation like no tomorrow to do that. So i was gonna say. Why did whoever said we. We want nick braun to play cousin greg. Was it about you that made them say. Nick must play cousin grech. What was that audition like. I got to use my nerves in the in the in the room with adam mckay and i got to be sort of. I got to transfer my nerves about out this thing wrong. This big audition into what greg is i think he's nervous in a room but i think he's also ambitious highly ambitious and and so the audition it was like i don't know i was i kind of let whatever comes out of greg's mouth whatever wants to come out and hung out an an atom gave me permission to and and so it was a lot of writers think that they should. They like <hes> improv going on. They do that then that's heaven to do that. Yeah they do like it. I do get recognized now as cousin greg. Are you walking around the city or and people say there. He is because we look at it. They love him yeah but nobody is really marley a model for anybody on this whole show. I don't know anybody anybody that you aren't suspicious too but yeah yeah do they come up and say cousin grad. They do yeah they shout cousin greg the show greg deeg so yeah i gotta the law. You're going to get the whole thing. You know. You're going to get the company you know. I think it should happen. I wonder if they even know 'cause you just been renewed for season season three. We have indeed yeah. Congratulations thank you. That's kinda great yeah. I've never been a part of some kind of is the new game of thrones just with people wearing suits and you know dragging insulator slogan. They're they're dragging unconcern. That's what kind of show is happening. It looks like everybody's having a fun time. Are they definitely yeah because it's a lot of improv. It's you know it's it's a lot of different personalities in a room <hes> different styles of acting. You know you're you're curious. Got one style and jeremy's army's got another and and brian is always ferocious in a room and every scene i get to do with matthew is just pleasure right yeah. I hear so you know there's a whole thing online that there should be a spin off with tom and greg yeah yeah. It's too premature. You know we still have now. Come out of romance left to well well. There's a lot of people think in the future. All the time. It's t big area is working. It can work again. Spend it all do that. Let's let's look at a clip from succession so that those people who have been because they'll look at it and they'll say i'm watching. What's it over. You can all watch it you okay. What's

Your poll saw that he borrowed. I think we said back before Halloween. Do was go question. Yeah. And and we knew that. We dated it back to about the fifteenth of October. So yeah. He. We haven't really needed it. Now this past weekend. I did want to knock out some things, but I'll probably wouldn't have because we all went hunting. Yeah. So but anyway, we get there to your house yesterday. And it was great seeing everyone. No. But we get there and beautiful neighborhood. We're here hanging out. And you start pointing around you like, hey, I've needed to solid because this is what I'm gonna do today. I'm going to get this land this land, this lamb, and you got you got a very historic area that you live in. So you got a lot of old growth and trees that. I don't know how some of them probably I don't know how old they are. But I mean, there's just trees everywhere. So you're constantly we live in a tree house. Really billing. George large trees are a big part of your life. They are intrigued right part of a lot. And you saw some things on this on your roof. And you said limit fell up there and busted up get up and get it. And the gutters. Need to be cleaned out one last time before I know Amanda talked about that last night. But hey, those things expense. I know I know so when but there's an easy access from your back to the roof. Did that make you feel better? Okay. Did I like that? And so and so you're like, I'll just step up and get all that stuff. So I guess you did. Yeah. But today, you are eat up with something guys. I I mean speedy. I do not know. It has been a lot. Now, I've had a cold for about a week. Felt bad for one day. But outside of that fell great just was kind of just had a cold. Okay. But yesterday, I Don I am allergic to trees and weeds and all the things that come with that. I mean, remember I went last year in the summer and got tested, and I was allergic to every single tree in basically plant. That's out there. I don't know if I grab something yesterday and touch the area of my nose is or what I don't know. But but buddy, I have sneezed and sneezed and sneezed at my nose is running like a faucet, and and it won't stop. And my mom was even getting on me y'all got red nostrils lie in like a little kid. Does I had to take it's called? It's like a vacillation when I got home last night at like, eleven o'clock. Oh, Levin, and whatever and from being up here, and I had to put it Carolina always uses for lips here. I know that's why I'm telling it. And I had to put it on my nose because I had rubbed it rawal from sneezing and wiping by. No, so much Amand even said when I got home last night. She goes, you don't even need to talk tomorrow. Like, you sound like Rudolph. All right. So here's my prediction. You ready? You got up on the on the roof. Grab those limbs. We will you hand in hand gloves on probably slung them off into the woods. All right. Yeah. And then rubbed your eyes or something. Out had gloves on and rub Mazar still been there. Right. Well, yeah. That's true. But I'm just saying I mean, I think in I had. I actually think I had gloves off because it was cold day. I do. Yeah. Oh, my heck. I don't know. I think it has something to do with that that because you got I look it had to be that. Yeah. There had to be some kind of mold or something almost limbs that has or something in the gutter. Right. Because there was some leaves in the gutter that were Ryan rhino. They've bounced back. I don't know. Yeah. That's it has to be what it is. I believe there's a right there by the how you doing you good. He's not. This is the moods. We we we hadn't turn those on top. This is a mood set of for us. We're a little the lights aren't on fully. I didn't even notice it. Yeah. The first NFL money. That's the first thing he noticed. But I didn't even notice. This is kind of how we do it when we have best of turn all the lights on. Yeah. It's kind of what was a little moods at right now. But yeah, you're you're struggling, and I get it. I think it's from that yesterday. It's obvious. I mean because you said you started sneezing right after that. So it's obvious. What it is. You know, but it's tough. Because now everybody's so sick. And there's so many viruses going around you. Don't know. Okay. Is this a flare up or my sick? And here's what the good news is. I do not feel bad. Yeah. Access what it is even on three hours of sleep. I really feel good. Yeah. I mean, it's running. You know, my two youngest sons Jason race have all the allergies. You have and racist eat up with something looks just like you right now. And I think he got into something because he because he he said he feels fine. But he can't breathe and sneezing..

"That was the reason why. Prosecutor van Greg. Yes. Your honor the judge, and I said early on don't read too much into the questions I ask. But I'm not suggesting he committed treason. I just asked a legitimate question. Then Greg the prosecutor, yes, you're on her. And that affords us an opportunity to clarify something on our end, which is with respect to treason. I said I wanted to make sure I had the statute in front of me. The government has no reason to believe that the defendant committed treason. Which means today was the day in US history. When the prosecutors had to go and check the statute in writing at the judges suggestion, so they could return to court and averred that no they're not planning on charging, the president's first national security adviser with treason, but thank you your honor for the suggestion. And you know, what it's actually pretty good to have looked it up. Now, there's one other thing that the judge walked back after that same recess today. You will recall that as Flynn stood before the judge today, the judge made some pretty it's indelible unforgettable statements about Flynn telling him not only did you lie to the FBI. But she lied to senior officials. You lied to the FBI about three different topics. You made those false statements while you were serving as the national security adviser. The president of the United States is most senior national security aide, two months later again, you made false statements and multiple documents filed pursuant to the foreign agents registration act. So the judge says the judge thunders in the courtroom, so all along you were an unregistered agent of a foreign country while serving as the national security advisor to the president of the United States, the judge continues. I mean, arguably that undermines everything this flag over here. Stands for points at the flash. Arguably the judge says you soldier? Country out. I am not hiding my disgust disdain for this criminal offense. So the judge says that before the recess obviously a very dramatic moment. After the recess. The judge walked back. Something specific about the timing. Relative to that claim he's making about Mike Flynn. This is what the judge says, quote, this is directed to either government council or defense counsel. I made a statement about Mr Flynn acting as a foreign agent while serving in the White House. I may have misspoken does that need to be corrected the stir van Greg the prosecutor. Yes, your honor. That would be correct. Which is that the conduct ended. I believe in mid November twenty sixteen the judge. All right. That's what I thought. And I felt terrible about that. I just want the record clear on that you agree with that counsel, Mr. Kellner for the defense. Yes. Your honor? So the judge feels terrible. He says about saying that Mike Flynn was an unregistered agent of a foreign power while he was serving as national security advisor in the White House. He confers with prosecutors to say I was mistaken on that. Right. Prosecutors say yeah. His work as an unregistered foreign agent actually ended before Trump was sworn in ended in the transition in mid November twenty sixteen after the election. So the implication of that assertion from the prosecutor, and the is apology here is that Mike Flynn didn't ever secretly work on behalf of a foreign government. Once he was in the White House officially and sworn in as national security adviser. As a matter of fact, the judge might not have needed to issue that apology. And that's next. Today in court in DC when the judge was just thundering at Trump national security advisor, Mike Flynn about the gravity of his crimes. The judge said so all along you were an unregistered agent of a foreign country while serving his national security adviser to the president of the United States. He said that and then the judge took it back and the prosecutor from rubber molars office supported the judge and taking it back saying in court today that Mike Flynn in fact, didn't peep working as a secret foreign agent of Turkey after the inauguration. When he was sworn in national security adviser prosecutor said in court today that Flint's stopped doing that work right after the election in mid November twenty sixteen and that is in fact when Flynn filed paperwork with the government saying that his contract with Turkey ended. But you know, what? It's possible that the judge was right..
