You trust your teams, and Greg's are lying to put it through? Um, but, yeah, I mean, it was great. Obviously believing him make anyone did that. It was just relief, right? I mean, the first win first. One of many in the first one is usually the hardest and it was. I'm not going to get into, uh, specifics, but there were some issues with clock management down in that final drive. The Cowboys get it back with three minutes and change to go more time than Tom Brady had the previous week when it was less than two minutes to go. But Mike McCarthy and I don't know what was going on with Kelly more in their communication, but they wanted to get a little farther down the field and have me to kick a 56 yarder Zuerlein had with his leg. Greg Leg had more than enough distance yesterday that it could have gone farther that than that, if they needed it. I just know that Mike McCarthy is happy to finally get this first one in the book to come in here and win. This game was important on a number of fronts for us. So an opportunity to pick up maybe three in a row. Uh, I don't know. And it was encouraging to see them not have to just put a bunch of points on the board. Uh, winning with 20 points yesterday, something they haven't done like since 2017. They usually have to outscore the opponent by a bunch of points and then a great 12 combination. "At. I thought they were going to be absolutely terrible. And they're less than terrible so jalen hurts. Look good is he gonna keep it up is he. I am not somebody who believed in ryan fitzpatrick this season. Call me by comma home or whatever I did not think that that was the like magic answer to this team. I was thrilled when it was chicago. "Continues the way. It's going for them but you know this is somewhat said. We tried to tell the giants what was coming and they didn't wanna believe it was coming and and here it is You know we couldn't have called it anymore. Accurately that that he has gone in there and his is just made a total mess of the offense of plan. And wow okay. tom. And i've talked giants. We're here to talk about. the couch. Should promote him to head coaching really. Just it's inevitable like is like we've seen this movie one thousand times. You know what. I mean this right now get right here but just give him the. I'm i'm also encouraged by how the secondary was in the right place. They seem to be going to the ball. They seem to actually understand the concept of ova balls in the air within reach. Perhaps i should catch it. Which sounds something that. They didn't seem to have as much of last year as they needed so. I think the defense has made some positive steps. I'm a favorably inclined in my judgment of dan quinn so far but you know. It's a very small sample size. We've got to see how they do against the chargers. Now but yes. I'm think it's trending upwards and i'm i'm not unhappy. I don't think we can depend on winning the turnover battle that way But the flipside is cowboys. Didn't lose any fumbles and remember how badly that her last year. So you know. There's two sides to the turnover coin but just speaking about the defense right now. But it's a secondary priority for him in a vacuum. I mean i don't waste his time but spent his time focusing on running the ball in ways to develop run schemes because that is not the most efficient utilization of time energy or resources which having a ninety million dollar running back completely goes against by the way purchase. Yeah i i've said earlier that the the key is the cowboys run more. They run more efficiently You know which which means you don't look at what's happening with the new york giants offense and remember back to what we had to suffer through a or you lineup. And you show. Hey we're gonna we're gonna do a halfback dive between the center of the tackle. And that's exactly what you do. That's not what kill more going to do. He's going to be looking for time when okay. Here's where a run mike. Catch them off balance. Or here's what might make sense. Your way through but the l. would just be to maybe three bites up up the ladder so to speak anyways. I i was really leaning towards giving it a five and then i was like. Sorry i mean and look. I hope we're wrong. But i wouldn't say but most of the evidence suggests that this is a bad idea. Now again cowboys your high on him. They believe he had a great off season.
