Was Greg Gutfeld Always a Good Writer?

"Were you always a good writer? I think that it was a very, I was very creative and yes, I guess I was, but I wasn't, I was a writer, but I wasn't a good writer until I gained confidence. So writing is creativity plus confidence. The reason I ask, and I just want to hammer this home. If you're looking for what you want to do and your life, if you are able to be an above average writer, it is a universal skill. Even if you work in an HR department, you have to be able to list off people's pronouns. And have the hotspot, the paragraph and your disclaimer in the email. The point is no matter what you do in life, writing will help you. Also,

Greg Gutfeld and Charlie Discuss the Art of Writing

"This is, I can't remember what the heck we were talking about. But yeah, writing. So but this is, we hire a lot of people. And the skill that is hardest for us to find are people that have done the work to refine their writing. Yeah. And now there are people that are naturally good writers. Like, for example, Tucker's a phenomenal writer. Yes, he is. You can tell that with his monologues. Yes. You know, his monologues are, okay, the key to the key to good writing is you got to look you got to look at when you're done when you write the article. It's just starting. The real fun is in the editing. It's so much fun to chip away and see how many it's like, that's like name that tune. Oh God, that's an old reference. But you want to get it down to the fewest words possible while expressing the sharpest point. So the worst kind of writer, like this is the one problems with sub stack now. Some people can't stop writing and they forgot how to edit. But you got to like it just no, I'm not reading this. I don't have the time to read this. There's a guy that wrote a huge piece trashing me, which I tend to enjoy, but I got bored. I got bored with hearing my own name, which is so rare. But so you look at it like a block, you know, so you got this block of stone, and you just start chipping away at it, and

"For the day. And again, this is why the Babylon bee is so unbelievably brilliant. Because. You can not decipher between the Babylon bee headline and what's happening in The New York Times, I'm just waiting for the fema press release. Hurricane incoming, no need to be urgent. Yes. You're a KKK member. Yes, no rush, no rush. You may die, but you know, you'll be an antiracist. Yes, exactly. I hate the Babylon bee for reasons that they might be funnier than me. And that is a problem. But you know what's interesting going back to the left, what's happening to the left. As the Babylon B gets funny or in funnier, what's less funny, the onion. The onion actually did, they actually now kind of do serious stuff, and I'm like, what happened? And it's like, you know, some things just you just can't joke about. Even the onion, like the roe V wade thing, and we can't even joke about that. You know, and so then they just trash somebody, whatever. Meanwhile, the Babylon bee is, has flipped the script. You know, now the onion is dean wormer, their animal House, and they're really sweet, smart people. I mean, who would have thought that a Christian website is funnier than all the cool atheists?

DC & NYC Mayors Suddenly Unhappy About Illegal Aliens Coming In

"Muriel Bowser, who is the big time left wing mayor of Washington D.C. and a big proponent of sanctuary cities, along with Eric Adams, the left wing mayor of New York, who's also a big proponent of sanctuary cities. They're not thrilled these days because Texas governor Greg Abbott said, okay, you love the idea of illegal aliens coming into the United States? We've got a lot of them here in Texas. They're flowing across the border every single solitary day. They are simply doing terrible, terrible things to our infrastructure. I mean, I don't mean they're out there pulling up roads or such, but there's not enough infrastructure. There's not enough school teachers, not enough school buildings. I love healthcare. The rest of it. So Greg Abbott said, well, here's what we're going to do. We're going to send some of these folks your way. And so Texas governor Greg Abbott has been sending buses filled with illegal aliens to Washington, D.C., and to New York, and all of a sudden, all of a sudden these major proponents of sanctuary cities, these folks who are just thrilled with every goofy left wing policy there is, now they're saying, well, this is problematic. It's a real drain on our infrastructure. You don't say. Because I could have sworn governor Abbott said that. I could have sworn that there were mayors on the border who said that. But now it's happening in Washington D.C.. Now it's a crisis. But what does mural Bowser wants? Mural Bowser isn't saying, oh yeah, we ought to secure that border. Absolutely. I've reevaluated. No, no, no. She says, well, we just need more help from the federal government.

D.C. Mayor Bowser Calls for National Guard to Deal With Migrant Crisis

"Gotta give credit to governor Greg Abbott out of Texas also Doug ducey out of Arizona. You know, a couple of months ago, the governor said fine. Biden's not going to do anything, we're going to start loading up illegals onto buses, and we're going to send him to Washington, Washington, D.C.. So far, more than 4000 illegals have been dumped in the nation's capital, and this breaking news from the NBC station there in D.C., the mayor, muriel Bowser, another Democrat, she's calling up the National Guard, she's activating the National Guard to help with all of the illegals that are arriving in D.C.. She says it's a humanitarian crisis. And it's reached a tipping point. They're going to be using the D.C. armory as a processing center. You know what? I say, I say at this point, send even more buses. Maybe Abbott and doocy can call their fellow Republican governors and we can commandeer school buses, and we can just have caravans, just, I mean, just like trains, just sending thousands and thousands of illegals to Washington and then on to Delaware and then on to Pelosi's district in San Francisco. I think this is a brilliant strategy here. And by the way, Ron DeSantis, the governor of Florida. Do not be surprised about this guy. Don't be surprised by this guy. You know what's going to happen? Desantis is going to put out the National Guard on the Florida border and he's not going to let those buses through because that's been the whole point they're threatening to send all the illegals down to Miami. Desantis isn't going to play like that. That's fascinating story. We'll keep you updated on that. All

Greg Laurie Had an Interesting Encounter With Kris Kristofferson

"I'm talking to pastor Greg Laurie, who is writing books, making films, they haven't seen you at church in years. What's going on with you, man? Are you back? No, listen, this is exciting. The new book is a Lennon Dillon Allison Jesus, the spiritual biography of rock and roll. I want to talk to you about the film, the new film. But before that, in your book, do you mention Chris christofferson? Because obviously he's not really thought of as a rockstar. But I know he's somebody that came to faith at some point. Yeah, I do actually talk about him. I also wrote about him in my book, Johnny, on Johnny Cash. Funny thing you talk about recognizing celebrities. So I was working on this documentary film about Johnny, and I watched some interviews with Chris that were more recent. So I flew out, came back to LAX. I'm walking to my car. I see this guy from the back and somehow I recognize him from the back. From the back. See, that's next level crazy stuff. That's like, that's like Holy Spirit stuff. Flesh and blood is not capable of recognizing somebody from the back, you're telling me you're not kidding from the back, you said, I think that's Kris Kristofferson. Yeah. So I walked over and I said, oh, Chris, and Greg Laurie, I've written this book and I held up my Johnny Cash book, and I said, and I quote you in the book, Chris, and I'd love to send you a copy. He gave me his address. I sent it. He wrote me back. And said he was going to read it. He was very nice men

Greg Laurie Discusses the Faith Journey of John Lennon

"To my friend pastor Greg Laurie of harvest church in Southern California, the author of many books, the new one is called Lennon Dylan Alice and Jesus spiritual biography of rock and roll. So Greg, you're sharing some fascinating stuff that John Lennon called in, I mean, I had heard that he was watching Christian TV kind of hanging out in the Dakota during this strange period in the 70s kind of raising his son there just being a house husband and watching Christian TV and that he called up Billy Graham's whatever called up the number on the screen and professed faith in Christ and then you said wrote about it in his diary. Yeah, I wrote about his new film faith in his diary and he recorded two Christian songs. If you go to YouTube and Google John Lennon comet Christian songs, you'll find that they were rough songs, one almost made it on his final album, a double fantasy. But even a double fantasy, you can see him beginning to soften. He writes in his song beautiful boy about his sunshine before you go to sleep, see a little prayer every day and every way gets better and better. John was changing. Now, here's a tragedy, and we all know that. John was murdered by Mark David Chapman. And so I begin this book with this statement. There'll be three surprises when we get to heaven. Number one, some of the people we thought would be there won't be there. Number two, some of the people we never thought would be there will be their number three, we will be there. So here's my premise on John Lennon, because I wasn't there at that moment. He did survive the shooting. They put him in the back of a police car and rushed him to the hospital. The officer asked him, do you know who you are? John did if in the final moments of his life, John called out to the Jesus. He professed faith in his prayer would have been heard just as surely as Jesus heard the prayer of the thief on the cross. So

Greg Laurie Explores Faith in 'Lennon, Dylan, Alice, & Jesus'

"Listen, this book is exciting to me, Greg. And you have written you've written many books, you're an evangelist. You're at harvest church in Orange County. But you write about the lives of people and their intersection with faith in Jesus. So this one Lennon Dylan Alice and Jesus, I just read a whole book talking about the spiritual Bob Dylan, the spiritual side of him. And it seems so clear that he still is a believer in Jesus. He doesn't talk about it the way he used to. But that do you cover that in the book? Yeah, I have a whole chapter on bob and you know, that's exactly my premise. I've heard it said that we'll Dylan abandoned his Christian faith, and returned to his Jewish roots. Well, he is Jewish. But he did not abandon his Christian faith. The fact that I just read a review of his recent concert Dylan never stopped touring is on the road constantly. He's playing this song, got his service somebody from slow train coming, which is an overt Christian song. And as another newer song that he's written, that is very much a faith song. So, you know, bob came under such attack when he came out publicly as a Christian. I don't know if he just got tired of all the drama and controversy, but I don't see that he ever stopped believing what he was saying. Not that long ago he did a Christmas record of all things above Dylan Christmas record and sing those old songs just as you would expect. Bob Dylan to sing them, but at the same time, one interviewer said, using those songs as though you believe them, he says, I do.

Greg Gutfeld Sounds off on Today's Vision of 'Justice'

"Group. Here's Greg gutfeld on the 5 yesterday talking about Merrick Garland and today's vision of justice. Thugs commit crimes and are quickly released in our governors, don't do squat. Next time, maybe we drive the perp to the streets where the progressive idiots live, drop them off like a burning bag of dog dung on Pelosi's front steps, ring our doorbell and watch our face filled with panic, like she just found out her plastic surgeon was run over by her Mexican maid. Lastly, it sucks seeing politicians ignore violent crime. Well, focusing on a show trial. Because the crime hasn't touched their lives. They've got taxpayer funded security. You know, to many of us, January 6th seems more peaceful than trying to get home after dark. Think about all the criminals you got away with brutal crimes while January 6th protesters are still in jail. Maybe this whole time we should have been getting violent street felons to walk through an open door at the capitol, then they would have cared.

Greg Gutfeld: Jan. 6 Hearings Helped President Trump

"Because I point out that the January 6th hearings damaged mister Trump and when I say that, I don't want you to think that I'm satisfied with that. I don't think that's a good thing. I'm disgusted by it. I'm angered by the deceitful one sided star chamber witch hunt show trial. That Americans have been subjected to. They're already crawling about all the great viewers and the listeners and the people that watched it, let me try again. Let's try Greg gutfeld's interesting, very unique take, frankly, that the January 6th hearing helped not hurt president Trump. But the discontent, the discontent is getting louder because January 6th floundered. It ended up accidentally exonerating Trump. They showed no plan coup, no criminality. They had to move the goalposts into the parking lot. Now it's like, oh, he took too long. Fine. Why is it that he seems more electable now? It's because the public saw that it was a show trial and that they didn't sympathize. They actually sympathized with the other side than with the Congress. They just saw them as a bunch of drama queens. So this is a teachable moment. You know, when Trump looks better than Biden after three weeks of nonstop political agit prop, then that says something about your candidate. The guy's less popular than chronic halitosis. He states.

We had Ted Cruz, we had red gut Greg gutfeld. We had every speaker you could possibly imagine. And first of all, I was struck by the optimism and the positivity of our audience. I was moved by how so many of our students who attended were forward thinking and were ready willing and able to get engaged and get involved. In fact, here's an amazing statistic for all of you watching at home. We had started over this weekend over three hundred new turning point USA chapters were started. At the student action summit. Think about that. That's the entire field program for most organizations. That's the entire membership network. Those are new chapters that just started in the last weekend. 72 hours, 300 new chapters, high school and college chapters at turning point USA. An extraordinary accomplishment.

"Saw a tweet from Tim Graham over at news busters that got my attention. And Tim Graham over at news busters had a clip of Chris Hayes of MSNBC, smart lefty, Stephen Colbert, funny lefty, talking to each other on Stephen Colbert's Late Show, which Greg gutfeld now beats every night in a revolution against late night being overtly political. Stephen Colbert is very, very left wing and therefore he's very, very political and sent her right America won't watch him. And NBC hadn't figured this out yet. No one's figured out. Why does no one trust elevation 'cause everyone's overtly political and they don't tell you. But sometimes in exchange can be unintentionally revealing. "Card to these mega church pastors neglect to read the part of the Bible says though shalt not kill great question great question all right let's get back to your calls well let's go to Greg who's calling from San Francisco Greg welcome to KGO Hey John thank you your show long time listener always enjoy it even when I disagree with you thanks Greg but you know I I just wanted to let you know you know you when it comes to attacking the president for the way he's handling everything with relation to the to the coronavirus I think it's important to remind everybody that in the early stages you know we had people like the blouse you know in the New York health commissioner and the World Health Organization and in the Nancy Pelosi coming out and saying it's not that big a deal it's not very contagious come down to Chinatown come to the parade on sorry no no that's not accurate she went to Chinatown because Chinese community was being boycotted these were China's one lived in San Francisco I understand I understand what's clear let's let's not distorted that we have that we have the the the health commissioner of New York City was saying don't fear this is not that big a deal the Blasi himself went on to say all I can tell you is a lot of people underestimated what was gonna happen really underestimated it and we need to understand that the president and the administration are finally moving I'm not sure they're moving fast enough but that'll be decided by the voters but to talk about others is is really ridiculous in all fairness though you know a number of good things have been coming out of this I mean I'm in the the alternative preventive medical field and it's been very encouraging to know that the administration is behind the openness of integrating things like vitamin C. therapy and and a subtle sense being I don't mean to interrupt you but I'm not interested in that because vitamin C. therapy does not cure coronavirus and all the other little things the president's talked about including one point nine treatment we we don't know yet I don't give much credit yeah I under I understand that but there is no question there are numerous studies that show for example respiratory illness with relation to bite in some studies during illness I'm not walking about it being here I'm talking about it giving your body the ability to fight despite it all up clearly Greg look look Greg I appreciate the call I want you to understand very clearly it's your it's your just off base tonight and I appreciate the call I appreciate the fact you're listening this is the corona virus this is a different kind of virus and we see it every single day look at the numbers for god's sake man I'm not saying that it's not serious I'm simply saying this if there ever was a sign that you wanted to have a I. antiviral nutrients support you don't want to be under under nutrient supporters who wants to do that but I'm gonna tell you a healthy people healthy people are developing this virus but I appreciate the call I mean what do you say I mean really Floyd calling from San Francisco Floyd welcome to KGO my name is Laurie and I just want to say I think you're being a little bit unfair to the president I mean the president of France Spain Italy they all thought that this was no big deal I mean they they they beat they banned flights from China to question thing are you telling me are you telling me are you telling me that there is no criticism here the president you tell me reacted quickly enough you're telling me all the time thank you while I'm on it at the same time as I don't want my parents to get sick I also don't want my daughter to graduate from college and I worked for three years because nobody's going to train anybody because around twenty percent unemployment all rather you'd rather we open up the economy now and that'd be just great right Sweden is doing that I mean people in New York buckled under the guy that took away my kids eighth grade algebra for no reason because he said it was racist what's going on March thirteenth they shouldn't close the school right looks like I don't know you know I don't know if you knew Superman Carranza I did that's not what he said I am of course my concern is with health that's what we're talking about here and I agree but no we've never been in this situation before we're gonna lose the election because we sit there and act perfect and try to make the end of the perfect the enemy of good and we've asked them trump you know what Harry Truman said they say I give em hell I'm not giving them hell I'm simply telling the truth and they think it's hell well you know what what can I tell you this is a president who today after a standing in the White House on the question of the masks said he wasn't going to do it even though the CDC recommended it give me a break I mean unbelievable let's go to a Joe calling from Salem Oregon Joe welcome to KGO John how are you take a deep breath you know I'm going to it's my wife's birthday I'm gonna go home and we'll do a little celebration real celebration be tomorrow when we have a family conference but go ahead good for you my first comment is on the day of his email I'm gonna have to worry about abortion the trump keeps going the way he's going to be anybody to have babies so that's the first one and secondly I'm an agnostic and this from these people that go to that church a little spooky hi I read a little bit of the Bible another toner but I try to live my life all the good things in the Bible and one in there somewhere it says god helps them to help themselves they are and to me that's not in the Bible but it is a commentary go ahead Austin are you still correct it without any problem and to speak to god gave free will and the ability to reason and in that case in science and in that game bility to fight this he is you got to go look science not what they're doing now and god will save me and he did the test and that is going to happen and you needed to do they're doing it to themselves and we're going to see these major characters all of a sudden have a major outbreak and hi I listened to my wife's cousin Gary Tuchman and you a dear friend and it's a wonderful family member who interviewed this woman said she's not worried because she's protected by the blood of Jesus are close by to receive the call unbelievable four one five eight zero eight zero eight ten let's go to Chris calling from San Jose Chris welcome to KGO yes hi John you know I am appalled I am appalled at that the the caller said calling it and telling you that you're wrong I'm appalled that we have a pathetic president in this world today are you at the end and here we go you know they're denying that they never heard about this they never knew about this before January and you have Mitch McConnell right they're saying if we had if we did not have the impeachment we would have been working on this what that tells me either I do are lying and they knew about this in December I want to know John can we remove this president by the military to get this as a middle turn around here the military has no power remember that that's not their function by the way if you haven't seen the movie seven days in may which is a description of of a to an attempted coup by the military it's it's online and it's free so I would recommend it to you but what can happen is and I hope this happens of we have been through an impeachment process but tonight in the dead of night the president of the United States fired the intelligence community's inspector general Strachan's the Congress or open investigation immediately it's it's it's disgrace it's it's it's horrific and you know people talk about the Saturday night massacre and and Richard Nixon arm this is it puts that to shame so I can only tell you know the military doesn't have that function but I appreciate your call and watch seven days in may all get a sense of that when I do that all right thanks so much my good friend John who is a great supporter of the president says John your hatred for president trump trump reaches the highest level now I feel you are not blind and close to any caller who called in and opposes your view may god bless your heart to be a better human being sincerely John John let me tell you something I've let people who are opposed to the president people are in favor of the president but I'm not going to sit here and not answer these people and it's not hatred I don't hate the president but I think he is a disgrace the worst president in American history and John all I can tell you is I'm glad you email me I'm glad that you have the right to disagree with me and more than that I want you to understand how fair I try to be in even reading your email four one five eight zero eight zero eight ten by the way we know that the administration about the pandemic we know that the intelligence community warned him we know that before became president there was an exercise with his new people coming in about it M. and it was ignored and we know that the president called a hoax a democratic plot we know that I mean I I don't have to prove it just for heaven's sake you can read if you can hear his own word which.

"Friday on a holiday weekend. Michael, less more, Michael now, less Michael. That's the way I've, you have more. Michael now, less Michael. We're overruling Greg, who thinks he's in charge of the show. Higher thing I can tell coming up next a lot of Michael, yes. And it is definitely it fried s it is Mason, Ireland. ESPN LA. Friday. That's right. Looks steep lettuce here on the board. What's right on the jump right now? There's Clare Claes mom go shopping for them. What are they talking about? Mike Jewish thousand she's a ceases stylist, she trusts her taste in clothes, so as she loves to shop for boys, if they allow her to do it. So she goes out and buys all kind of outfits for him and he likes what she buys for him. And Andre Igwe dolla and clays on with his wife and Clinton and mom, my wife of best friend. So they go shopping for them in. Is that bad is that of soft? Everybody's got stylist, the NBA man. That's that's half the game. Would you. Let your mom shop for you. My mom. You know what, you know Mike. You you'd see. Hydros right. Yeah. You look good. And you imagine how little time I put. Yeah. But the fact that he's wearing a collared shirt, serious upgrade from even as Colin coward once said, I dress like a flood victim. A guy who had to leave the house quickly Horace, Jim Lampley, what say you dress like an unmade bed? Yeah. Would you let? Myra Lorna shop view Arlen. No, no. Very particular. I know I'm the only person can shop for me is me, if Lisa close I where did you save the receipt really doesn't? She doesn't have your taste. He doesn't know your taste. No. I'd like to keep it simple. Yeah. You say you're not like sexy your, your suits and stuff are all very fancy all yet. Yeah. Fears always match your ties and all that kind of many pocket squares, and I know right where to get him. There's a store, New York. That is excellent. I find it exhausting to try to figure out what to well, it is, I would you let Jim hill style, of course? Jim hills got going on man. They missed last. That is a coin flip who dresses better steward, Jim, you know, I'm gonna go let it just leave. Yeah. You'd better leave that. That's kind of like a no win, for example. Michael, we were talking about last night, white Leonard. Was spectacular. I know you've known him since he played youth best ball clay, but he can tell watching him he's hurt. He saw he's beat up. But hey, this is the time you bring in Akobe Koby, wouldn't let these minor injuries, though, soreness slow him down. So you got to be mentally tough here. And he's, he's sore. He's hurt, but he's not injured big difference. Okay. So. No. That's what I was gonna ask you wait a minute. He's hurt and injure. Yes. Engine and hurt. But here's the thing. Michael are we sure he's not injured because last year he only played nine games this year. They didn't let them play any back to backs now in the playoffs. Of course he's playing every game if you him two hundred million dollars, which I would. He can't get that. Do you worry about his durability? No, no. Because, you know, let's say he comes to the clippers which I kind of think he's going to do. He doesn't have to play forty minutes a game. That's a deep versatile team Doc Rivers playing thirty two minutes of game. He'll probably sit out five or six games pay sat twenty two this year. Yeah, yeah. Let me ask you that we were talking about this yesterday and purgatory. Let's say he does go to the clippers the covers the only team only NBA team. I can think of maybe you can think of one who ever sold somebody on being a clipper for life, and then traded him in the first year of a max deal. They did that big presentation for Blake Griffin. It raised his number, and then and then less than one year into the deal they, they move out, because they did that, and that was bomber and doc, the.

First of all, Greg, who won the L AFC tickets for SRL Regan way to go man. So he gets four tickets. Right. Yes. Four tickets released the Velka. Okay. And so Matt, from our staff, Matt, I was unaware until you did. I did the morning show and feeling for Travis that you get here ridiculously early every day. Are you here for the morning show every day, almost every day about three out of the four days that I'm here? Okay. That's a microphone. You should talk right into it. Yeah. Did days out of the week. I'm here like five fifteen every day. Okay. Okay. So you walked in during the break, and you said, I have in my hand the results of the station game of thrones. Pool. I do. Now, how many people entered the station game of thrones people entered by fifteen including everyone on the Mason in Ireland. What were the sorts of things that were involved in the pool you had to choose between whether or not a character lived died in at the character died, whether or not they became a white Walker? And then there were a couple of bonus questions of was denarius pregnant who killed the night, king, and who was on the iron throne. I think Mason correctly identified who killed the night, king. Did you not Mace? Did you not say it was aria beats me? No not. He did not person that got that, right. Was Michelle Beedle got that. Oh, wow. Right. All right. So Matt, you, you said you the winner the owning you told us is that the winner is among us here right now. Okay. But I asked you who finished last, and the answer was Momo. Who lived in died with thrones winning? I went to Cal I leading loser finished fifteenth. Fifteenth fiftieth. All right now, do you know among the three of us who, who, who did the worst? Yes, I do have that order. I know we can go from worst. The three of us who did the worst. So the worst. Was mason. Wow. That's yes. Appointing what down to finish you are about middle middle of the pack. Okay. So it means either Gregor won the whole thing. Or Jay or J, J J, by the way, is also our core. All All right. And it's just it makes you feel good to be able to help these claims doesn't it? Yes, we are improving their life because right, right? There will be problems for them. And then the doctor who called me this week the buddy of mine that I've known for a long time. I said to him I said, look one of the first questions that what are the power fraternities at my office going to be asking you? I said what do you make? And there was silence on the phone. He had to be on speaker phone with him and his wife. I said what do you make and silence? And they said you can't even tell us what your income is because you're not taking a paycheck out of your own corporation. That's a problem. So why don't you take some time to figure out what your what your expenses are what you spend for your mortgage. What are you spend for the baby? What are you spend for the baby? What are you spend for a Valentine's Day gift? What are you spend just monthly spending to live take that? That's number whatever your expenses are on average, gross it up to a paycheck. That's a lot of times. We see the clients are not doing that. They're basically spending their their income without accounting for taxes. And that's what gets a lot of people. Right. It's like. It's. They placed place you want to go to sleep. But the guy had a really deep voice back in the eighties and those called pillow talk. But so in any event. I got to aggravate it really nice offer compromise specialist. Great great guy. However, the revenue officer assigned to his corporate tax file is probably the opposite not such a friendly man in very much giving our staff a hard time, and some of it is a little over the top and some of it is little justified. But the delivery of the message and the bedside manner using a medical term is probably not the greatest. So you have a really nice one on the offer. Citing you have really rough around the edges IRS employees on the side of the business. The offer specialist was trying to come up with a solution with the power of attorney in my office to try and figure out. What's a workable solution say? An option that's gonna work out for everyone. And it's interesting because I want to bring this up there usually is always a solution that can work you just have to make sure that you know, how to get there. And you know, how to navigate through the IRS civil collection field. We only deal with civil tax controversy. We don't deal with any what's called criminal investigation. We only deal in the civil tax world in this particular case, you had an IRS employees who literally was bending over backwards to accommodate a situation to try and focus on a resolution as opposed to being the anti Christ of a resolution and trying to be the assists. Nice big words. They're out of the Lord's love your mouth, but it's very frustrating. Because oftentimes you see that some IRS employees are not so willing to be flexible are not so willing to be helpful. And it does get frustrating. I'm gonna give you another example of a client that came to us. A couple of weeks ago and his file is assigned to clear coffee who clear in my office like Greg who's not joining us today on the show, but clarity to work with the IRS for over thirty two years. You've talked to clear Laura and very nice lady and Liz, you'll beat her. So we we have two former IRS employee's, Greg Mahaffey Claire coffee it over the years. I've had Betty former IRS employee's, and it's nice because we can go to them and say, hey, what would you have done in this situation, if you were the revenue officer, how would you have handled this and clear was that the offer compromise unit for the last sixteen years of her career? So we say Claire if you got this offer compromise across your desk. How would you handle that? What would be your analysis? What's your take on this? And of course, she'll give her opinion. Now, this client who a doctor he calls, and he says, you know, that could've believe this, by the way, it was a client about nine years ago in two thousand ten got got him into a payment plan and. Mix decent living, and unfortunately went through a divorce and his now ex wife made it a difficult divorce. So he says, and they have some kids involved in of course, when you add kids twenty divorce. It adds a whole other dynamic another level toured for anyone who's divorced who's gone through a divorce. It's it's a whole nother world. That's out. There. Anyhow, he fell upon some hard times. So his file defaults and he gets assigned to a revenue officer. And apparently from what he's saying. And this is his comments the revenue officer was hostile aggressive combative confrontational and every other word and adjective like that. And he is a very soft spoken, man. And he's a talented doctor a well respected physician. And he said that he was trying to defuse the situation, and he was trying to calm the waters and on the phone the revenue officer was taking such a terribly aggressive approach. He just says, okay. Thank you very much. And he ends up calling us and I've assigned that file to clear as the poverty, and we had a discussion with this gentleman at six o'clock on Wednesday night this past week. And I said to him doc, I want you to explain so Claire could hear it directly from you in detail. What this revenue officer said to you how you felt how she came at you with a really really really aggressive tone posture, and how you just tried your best to be polite view professional, and you said, and I'm paraphrasing now, but he said, I just want to work this out. What could we do to work it out and as opposed to someone? Receptive to that position. Thank you so much, Mr. taxpayer. Let's see what we could do. I need X Y Z his take on it and his comment to us was she was just being extremely combative and the word. He used was hostile. And I'd like the clients to sometimes explain these things as often as they can. And is what's details. They can directly to the power of attorneys in my office because we don't like to have things lost in translation, we don't like to have things either exaggerated or quite frankly. Understated. We want depowered attorneys to hear what goes on. So I said, please doc explain the Claire this is Wednesday night explained. Claire exactly what went on. And after the call. She called me back. And she said, you know, I just I can't believe this. I just I can't believe the IRS treats people like that. I would never have done that in my career. Now, listen, we'll never know because we're not the flan the while we were part of that conversation. We did it here. It's so clear, of course, is gonna call. And she's going to say the thing was hiring us. Is you take the emotions out of it? Right. You try and diffuse the situation in that manner by simply removing the emotions so let's say God forbid, you're the client engineer, you're the client. And you're just so frustrated. Your ex wife is giving you a hard time. You're just in a tizzy emotionally. And you're just in a really bad spot. You're not going to be a good frame of mind, nor you're going to have the knowledge to be able to navigate. So now, you have one of the power of attorneys office committed you're taking out of the equation. You're taking your emotions out of the equation. That's what we try to do. So now Claire is going to have to approach it say, look, my client thought you were the friendliest person on the phone. Can you just give me the fact let's just stick to the facts? It's not anything. It's out a personal vendetta, at least it shouldn't be this is simply just the facts. So please tell us what you need. Obviously, we know what? The client's supposed to do fill out the financial stay current foul your taxes, if you're self employed you got to your current estimates. And a lot of times it's a life changer, and it's not that easy for someone to. Transition in that world from the non compliant world, go different than how easy it is. And I hate to make this analogy, but I will. But how easy it is?.

"Wrapping paper with question marks. And I'm having them all wrapped. And we're not scared. These are going to accidentally pop. No or go. No. These are very good. That's what. So how do you pop them? I don't know. But I've told Victoria to get an extra one and pop it at her house. Okay. So that we don't see any remnants house told to pop it across. So she knows how to do it. So she could show perfect. Hey, you got a good plan. Yes. All right. So how sensitive they are because at the very sensitive. I don't think so that was the problem with the ones that party city. Yeah. Because they have them at party city in there. They don't have color there don't have markings on the outright. They're just white. But then you told me that were shell read the reviews and said they go off by accident. Right. These are like fashionable ones. Okay. Oh my gosh. But what I think is going to be so cool because they're so big and their powerful that instead of just like all being in your face it. It's gonna shoot really high. So it's gonna come. I feel like everyone will be looking up at a we'll have everyone's reactions right before it. All right. Yes. And so I'm going to get their little early because I wanna help Greg who's videoing the whole thing and like see like where everyone's going to stand because I think he rarely should sit in the middle of like, a semi circle. I keep saying that. I mean, the the the lawns very narrow. Although I can't really I don't really know at forty people's gonna look like right there, it it may work. It may work. I'm just thinking or could be live. We have done that the Ellas are down. So it's not just like hits them, right? Yeah. We'll we'll suss it out when we get there. Okay. Anyway. But yeah, crazy. All right. So so stashes or lashes sh- using Jackie got the cake. Jackie got the cake. Briley insisted on doing the desserts. So we don't have any sort of cute like big dessert bar area. I wanted it'd be the boozy. Yeah. Who knows what he's going to do? He's do mecca rudes Mike who eats McElroy. He does he Bronco kogo ice cream sandwich. Like, what kind of highs grievous that what he say a truffle? Yeah. It's criminal as C salt ice cream. It's so funny too. So what is good thought? But. Yeah. And that's pretty much it. I mean, I feel like I don't know what else to what else I need or eight. So everyone's call did you send out a thing saying, John thirty? I didn't get a thing. You talked about everyone comes at four thirty. I'm going to bring the tubes me, and you have everything else. And that's it. Right. It should be fine. So what time are we going to do the actual pop? I think let's let's see if everyone shows up at the right time. I think everyone will. I hope so because your sisters have kids, and yeah, they're not going to be late. Yeah. But I I was hoping by five because I feel like people are going to be hungry. So we do the reveal that everyone can go eat and be merry and talk about this little girl. And then are you going to release the knee? Yeah. Talk about the name. Okay. Do you think it's scary? I think I think I should wait. I think you should wait for two reasons. Okay. Number one. I think that we could do something fun with it. Although, you know, a lot of people are using the same middle name. I've I've seen a lot of people name babies the same middle name. Oh, yeah. You should use the other one because I like it better. Anyway, we'll let's take let's do a poll. I really do. I love that. It's a family name. It's so specialty out to really I liked the other one. I think it's and I and I get it. So I I don't like it. But this one to me is like a conic like one hundred percent. That's why I liked that khloe named her daughter true. Because you thought it was oh, it's a family name. Right..

"Smaller is still saying that he is innocent still running down the topography police department. How dare he how dear? Now does that sound like somebody who is supportive of this effort to knock Donald Trump's victory lap off the front pages? No. And Donald Trump's victory lap will continue because Donald Trump will continue to take the victory lap. And he gets attention. But it just shows you immediately everybody. Oh, this was done to try to throw off the trumps showing his view really believe that. Hey think. Police my surprise it took by surprise. Everybody's trying to find an angle, and there's always an angle nobody because again, nobody trusts trust government. Let's go to Greg who's calling from Warwick. A welcome the Kurdish and Juliet Huddy here on WABC, Greg happy birthday parade. Boy. Good for you. Thank you this Jesse smaller should be bankrupted and thrown in jail. You imagine how much time and money on the local PD wasted on his crap. Absolute bs. Yes, we agree. And. The well ours taken off the regular cases. What is the response going to be of the democratic candidates for president who immediately upon first hearing of this defended him defended especially Cory Booker? Harris Kamala Harris, a few of the others is I now that he has been technically exonerated legally. Not really much. You can do do. They suddenly say, well, yeah. The prosecutor wouldn't prosecute what they're gonna say is they're either not going to say anything or they're going to say, well the legal system. The legal system was just and if I remember correctly that's move on our president never we got involved in this other than to say what a horrible thing when it first happened. You don't think? Now, he presses on the gas pedal on this. Oh, I don't know. I I don't think. So I think he's got other to deal with it. You know, let's face it. It all depends on his mood. He may decide how the hell the sky off and then restart that whole maga- country. Controversial. Well, I mean, he's got a great relationship now with the FBI, apparently he again, so maybe he'll be pushing as earlier caller said to have the feds jumping, Don welcome the Kurdish and Juliet Huddy on WABC, Donny. Hi, Julie birthday. Great to be on the show and say Hello to your guys. Listen, you know, what if it was a reverse could be a special prosecutor would I'd like to see now, it's a special prosecutor to come in out the charges are dropped because he made everybody assumed it was it was white and black crime. But it wasn't. It was fall. So the special prosecutor agree, totally agree. Well, I think the only hope now is in so much for a special prosecutor, but one of our callers referred to it remember prior to him supposedly getting pounded into the turf by these two guys he had received a threatening letter that he allegedly made himself, right? They didn't get enough. Attention consisted of cutting out to like, the cliche the Hollywood ransom letter. Right. But also the old twilight zone. Let us like this. And then if the fence pursue it. Then all of a sudden, they said, well, this is Trump's revenge and revenge. So it's it's like an endless cycle. Yeah. By the way, Mark era goes actually tweeted out. It's his first tweet since he was embroiled came out that he was embroiled in this whole avenue ATI situation. He didn't address those reports. But he said that small it is a victim. And he said, let's see Justice record has been wiped clean. He was attacked by two people. He was unable to identify. He was a victim and was victimized victimized again in a rush to judgment apologies accepted. That's what Gary goes his attorney who is it. I I'm not sure I guess and who are the two who assaulted him if the Nigerian brothers. I don't know. I haven't heard anything about those guys. Let's most interesting thing about all this other than the rush to immediately dismiss charges without knowledge of the mayor or the police department wouldn't be the first time that a mayor a police department were upset by the always given a heads up. Yeah. Is it the judge hearing this case sealed the record? Yeah. Well, they remember they have the two brothers on tape by this is just amazing. I mean, buying the stuff like it's just so we know what happens to you. Then charge the brothers. No. Because because we all know what happened. This is. This is this is just shady dealings going on cruciate by tomorrow. We'll learn a lot more. But right now, let's get a news headlines and update njdiet dot com. Seventy seven. Four.
