"What point do you think I'm GonNa do music than I'm going to do? Music on. Ironically I'm just GonNa you know well Davin Wood who makes who made a lot of the music for awesome show that we would kinda right together. We found him he wrote the theme Song wrote all these great pieces of music for awesome shows tremendously talented. We got together and started working on a song for the show. That very much sounded like the band And the media knew this wasn't gonNA fit for the show. Yeah but I said well this is fun we should do more. This should make this kind of music together. Start Making. You can kind of just for fun just for fun. Yeah surely for fun because again with the technology with things like logic and a keyboard you could make pretty much you can go to Qatar Center and spend five hundred bucks and have basically like a home recording yes system and I just got into it. I got into learning how to make music doc and we've made a bunch of rock the yacht rock kind of music And we made a couple of albums that was basically ironic parody style. We'll seventies rock that we loved but I never felt like I had anything to sing about. Felt stupid singing lyrics right complexities marriage or whatever. Yeah yeah so but then I. I don't know what happened. I stopped working with Davin. Avenue kept writing music and I had kids at a at a daughter and I. We bought a house in Glendale and I started writing songs is that were like not joking. But I'd also gotten really into Randy Newman and warns Yvonne. And and people like that where I felt like. Oh these guys are not ironic really. Yeah but they're fun. They're still funny and they're seeing about real life not always about their life but some of its political some of it's just observational. The music is great. They're there Warren's evolving pretty autobiographically but certainly not randy newman. He was telling stories basically and I felt really connected to that. I thought well I could write. I could probably write more about my life not necessarily feel like it needs to be super serious. Yeah but it's not a joke. Yep so that's I wrote a record kind of about my life. I felt like a little bit and Glenda Glenda Am. I felt. Like I'd kind of earned and I lived enough experienced life since I could maybe talk about my own life at least and And then yeah so it. It was confusing using me and my whole career has also been like confusing people in the Andy Kaufman tradition. Is he serious. People are listening to this now being like. Is this all a joke. is He really talking about. Did he do any of what he's talking about. That's not so interesting anymore. I always think I always say like if Andy Kaufman Kaufman had lived. He probably would have stopped that. I like. You know what I retired of this. I know there's so much anti you know. The Genius Savannah Coffin is an I get an within. But it's the same thing it's like you know the scarlet letter I get okay Et the time this scarlet letter is a fucking you on. Jesus Christ would boring fucking book Andy Kaufman. WHO IS I? Think a lot of people oh compared to the scarlet letter never. I've not heard that I've ever read some books. No but like I go back and look at some of these things and I just think like Jesus fucking walk in this is this is just a guy being an asshole like this is not right. I'm not being invited in unless I am a MISANTHROPE EST and a sociopath and my thing is like yeah fuck everybody and I and so yeah I agree with you. I think eventually Salihi. He would have had to have figured something else out of a hat like the wrestling. The wrestling stuff that he did. which is I like I like wrestling? I don't follow. It is but I mean my whole life. I've enjoyed a the theater professional wrestling and also just this sort of of Athletes Zinnemann. Yeah whatever. But and the weirdness of it like really the working class theatre of it and he would like he wasn't being genius. He was just doing what they're all right. He didn't enter doesn't care there was no Meta and mainly what he's doing was being wrestling fan right and and ranger coin of being on TV right into just getting to be fucking professional wrestler for a minute any wrestling fan. Would the I I do. Yeah I do I was. I think that kind of nihilism cynicism and You know like everyday read attached. I run this kind of the snotty. Now too insulated people online like a lot of younger comedy people. It's just the shit posting may saying and also to like the notion of any kind of emotional honesty or or even a sentimentality is just like fuck you. We're no eventually you when you get grown up you're not afraid feelings and you can actually fucking have them and find comedy in the feelings too. You know right and I wonder that because a lot of your early comedy you know and even sort of the stuff you do with with Gregg is like. It's it's not necessary. I was GONNA say nihilism like because I mean there is a Lotta awesome awesome. Show stuff that you could call nihilist. Yeah Yeah and and the Steffi do with Gregg while not realistic. It's fucking hostile the comedy hostility. Yeah and I wonder wonder because so much of what of my world view and my work has been changed by having children. Does having children change that for you or is it just something living that kind of happens concurrent having kids this is kind of you know I like to say this is the the joke answer is that I inc diaper humor into my into our stuff. You could see the moment when references. There's an episode of Steve Brule where he's changing a man's a full grown man's diaper. Yeah Yeah it's very very funny but tube in the shadows tapers I. I just read something about my own work. This morning that some critic wrote about that the Waco Waco. Yeah the papers about wake up sardis clippings No this guy just talked about the. It's funny brought it up. Because he talked about the non cynical irony of of the stuff. I do with Greg Trek the on cinema and Mr America that has just come out and that that His point being that while these people are terrible people. Yeah my characters terrible arable guy and greg characters in another in another kind of On another side of the spectrum of kind of a terrible. Yeah it's our. It's our sort would've met outside of that perspective that this is a hopeful view of how people should be. Yes all right. There's is a dirty negative exam this is how you should not behave. And then and Mr America people that saw it said there was because I play this very trumpy of hostile border line racist buffoon very trumpy very much inspired by trump that the fact that we did not cynically cynically make him a success. Didn't make him We didn't play the the the move that you might see an darker comedy. which is that? He is successful successful and that he does become he is treated as a fool in the movie. Industry and his disregarded thrown in the basically the dust bin of San Bernardino uh-huh politics not treated seriously. Because we did feel like to play it realistic to play realistically and also to perhaps provide some hope. Is that these characters. Chris should fail so yeah. Yeah so I think there is. I love playing a swine. Bad Guy can yell at some because it's fun to do as fun to be like a bad goal. It's the best. Yeah and you say whatever you want and so we. I don't know I mean there's my kids influence. That's how I wanNA keep whether I wanNA keep behaving that way. No because it can get it out in those formats that way but we like due to like you said these people are getting their come up right so it's not like you're reveling. Yeah yeah the thing that just befuddles me and we always get once this whole like the whole pedophilia thing. That's come up in the past few years where where people have used that as a tack on on Hollywood or whatever you know right obviously that there's there's terrible examples of them but I've since I've engaged with in politics and gotten into fights fights about it and stuff and one of the things people come. You guys are into pedophilia. Yeah what are you talking about me. Well there's these sketches where you do these weird things with kids and you do this child clown there's a running bit we do with these child clown. Yeah where these child closer in cages. And it's really really. I mean this is ten years ago. We're doing some weird parallels you know like the the pizza gates stuff like that was the furthest thing from our mind. You know when you're making this stuff it's all about what what is the sickest what is the the S- The most absurd dumbest you know. And how can we you make this feel real and also in the understand if we were into this scene. Yeah we wouldn't be putting it in our common. We're showing it as something horrifying us and and like unsettling because I wanna make you feel unsettled. Yeah so there. Is this weird thing. That happens. DISMAS smoothie comedy. I did too where people thought that we're somehow because we're presenting bad characters representing you know bad people that somehow in how we're validating or you know saying that this is how people should be They didn't say that. Martin Scorsese after taxi. Dry showed so travis pickle lake. It's like you can present bad people hopefully as a way to express how you yeah. People shouldn't be it's so strange to me like when they you know I mean. How many Mur how many movies feature people murdering yes whether you're pro murder murder? Yeah we're yesterday and just just because you reminded me that the whole notion of the of these you know and I guess the Cunanan people are like you know like that somehow like I. Just they'll say Chrissy Teigen and John. Legend are part of some sort of powered pedophilia ring and trading them. I always thought to me like that's like Oh that's very telling to somebody who thinks that. What would you do if you became rich and powerful and can get away with anything? Oh you would engage in pedophilia and I just thought like wow. That's really the lady protesting too much but somebody pointed online and I don't even think there's anybody knew that if you are a victim of abuse and if you have been subjected to specially that kind of abuse right you see it everywhere everywhere right and so. It's very likely that these people are not. You're not seeing like some sort of deep seeded. Wished that they have out in a particular Taylor way. You're probably seeing somebody's trauma right right. And then I and then there are people who just exploit people shit he. It's because you can just go. What down the list? What is the worst thing somebody can this? Yeah that's the one. Yeah that's the one that's unthinkable. It's horrible can't imagine that it happens by note does but you know Jerry Sandusky Story and in my mind like stops Mike Ken. How how? How's the hammer so it is ups ups now they have kids? You're like I take it personally..

"A A pure player finder is strong. He's like the Steve Bell Check of Europe Jay Gruden. He's not ready to decide which is quarterback will get destroyed by the Patriots this weekend. He's evaluating three quarterbacks ahead of the matchup against the defending super bowl champions case keenum who who was yanked from Sunday's game against the giants after a slow start there is the first round rookie Dwayne Haskins who looked like a total mess when he got his chance to play against the giants and then there's `boy marks boy Colt McCoy the man who mark named named one of his children after he is also in the mix if his leg allows it he's had that lingering leg injury so Jay Gruden is just staring at a wall all right now trying to decide which men will be sacrificed to the football. I don't doubt the Colt McCoy on the whole would be as ready as case keenum if if not more in this offense where the coach likes them a lot. I think it's not exactly you're not exactly doing a favor to a player. That's been through some strange issues as with the team in terms of the way his physical health was treated not the only one on that team with those concerns and instead. You know you're saying welcome back. I'm now going to put you into. It's completely broken in down dysfunctional offense that will ensure you endure a ton of punishment come Sunday. I'm not sure if I'm calling McCoy and I want to do that but at the same time he is his careers longer than anyone ever expected warrior. I think that you might not WanNa play if you're caught McCoy but Cole McCoy. That's not why you named your kid after he wants to play. Hey Hey Justin Penn.. WHO's my comments saying? I think he would want up yeah. That's what I mean. This is Jason unwelcome scenario to throw a quarterback but talk about last stand. Jay Gruden has been wanting wanting to start Cole McCoy his entire run in Washington tire life. He entered this off season. I think spends three years ago right wanting to start Colt McCoy in week one that that was his preferred guy that he's kept around and he's running out of time. They're both running out of time. He knows it. You used to let your case keenum flag fly. I mean Jay Gruden. Let your McCoy by. He's the only one with a chance to beat the Patriots who would have if the Patriots up thirty four to ten in two thousand and if I was saying game if I was going to give anyone a chance of who questioned for the room who are West Martin and Robert Robert Davis this some of the deep receivers on the team he's our week for starters for the Washington redskins which fielded the worst offensive personnel. We've seen all year including the Miami Dolphins. You did not have Brandon Sheriff Trent Williams. Jordan Reed Scary Terry all the lineup they are West Martin starting at Guard Robert Davis elevated from the practice squad immediately made the number one receiver and then cut after the game what is going on with this team. I would allow Greg Trek to lock up New England against the Patriots the Patriots against the redskins because the last time Colt McCoy faced them he went fourteen for nineteen for one hundred in seventy four yards ran for a long touchdown and Peyton Hillis stomped over a totally confused. Tom Brady led patriots team for one hundred and eighty eighty four yards and two touchdowns. Let's dial it up again all right sold. I'll take them of course that was before Colt. McCoy walked with a limp permanently. Italy is a long time ago. It was almost a decade eight and a hill is a decade who is on the cover of Madden wants won fair and square through through a fan vote. I feel like that's the thing that wouldn't happen. In Two Thousand Nineteen Michael Vivo wouldn't allow it. They'd just like no no no no yeah this cannot happen happen if you're talking about that West Martin. I think that everybody knows I mean they drafted him in the fourth round. They must see some promise in mice. That's just I don't know if I'm talking about the right guy or are you talking about the guy that Played College Indiana and he was like fourth-round guard you gotTa Yeah. He's like three hundred and fifteen pounds. If if I'm remembering correctly actually I don't know if that's the right guy this you. This fantasy shows read really stepped up Ricky's game who has left their keys out for ricky to go into the lab. She's allowed out in import MARKSVILLE upstairs. That's fine. He's still out of our house to myself. finally in the News Adam the'll and has thoughts on the Vikings kings offense after Minnesota no showed on offense against the mighty bears defense Thalen expressed some frustration ration- I'm not sure if it was with the offense of philosophy or the guy who's supposed to be throwing the ball. Let's listen it well. I think I think that's probably what's frustrating. Straight thing is is we knew that was going to happen at some point. At some point you're not run the ball for one hundred eighty even with the best running back and that's when you have to be able to throw the ball you have to be able to make place have to be able to hit the ball at the you have to do that because otherwise it's too easy for changes not Evan and Russia quarterback so we have to be we have to be able to run the ball and pass misleading cannot be won a national. It's just too easy founder. It's odd to see Minnesota struggling at at this level on ovens West. You may remember shortly before the season started. I was very high in their offense thought they could really maybe it'd be a top OP five top three number one but it's all gone totally to hell and the one thing that has really jumped out to me. That's his surprised me is that the one you could always count on kirk cousins offense was he was going to put up numbers and they were his team will move the football that is what's disappeared here and that's been to me the most surprising thing that you add Alvin Cook into the mix and we talked about it on Sunday. The offensive line obviously has issues but that they would be this inept. I just did not see this coming at all. It's fascinating to me. Cousins is a rhythm passer and he hasn't been in rhythm really since last October and I think if you read between the lines with Adam feeling he at least he may be other players at the vikings have some issues with kirk cousins right now and maybe he's not maybe it's that he's not pulling the trigger when the passes are there any cousins defense. It's not often that the past is are there because his offense of line the mixture of that offensive line that system kirk cousins isn't working yet. It's not a good thing when dealing in that same interview was kind of asked what's different this year with you guys you. You know not getting as much separation and the most telling thing is he immediately said that's not what I see. I mean he's he's saying he's opened and yeah cousins has been under under pressure. There's a good article in the athletic yesterday about it hasn't been extreme and watching that game there were many plays where he did have time and there are deep throws you would think to to give a shot to dig deal and they did try a couple of hit one and he's instead of checking the ball down and I think that's the frustration Gratien in when you have Mike Zimmer on Monday saying the same thing. You've got to pull the trigger when you're when you're talking about your quarterback that way it's I don't know there's bubbled over frustration and there probably probably is in effect that you can't really measure scientifically on most quarterbacks outside of the most mentally tough that if you've been damaged and battered and hurt for a season plus behind a line you lose some trust for them. We've seen younger quarterbacks even earlier this year after a game or two of that not act the way you'd expect them to Aaron Rodgers do it in the last couple couple years you develop bad habits and absolutely there's this one play where they do the boot action and cousins rolls out to his right and he had there's no one within twenty yards of him at that time and he immediately like fires fastball over the middle to his running back. I think it was. Cj Ham who was one yard pass the line of scrimmage and he did it like right away and that's the type of play where you just it drives you crazy. I think if you're never CJ HAMAS open though you've got to get the ball to him get it to them in space and watch the magic. That's that's the philosophy. The football coaches the world over believe. That's what's happening in the news all right. Let's get to it. I WANNA do a plug by the way before we get to the power rankings. There's a new edition of the mark sizzler weekly jam out. It's called. I'm blanking on right now. Help me out mark on my later on my radar with Mark Cecil. Let's let's get that radar. Let's get that radar sound effect back ricky mark. What's on your radar but what I wanted to hit on the plug was a couple of these dead animal teams in all these animals that are on that sonar stand that can't get out of Wayne's radar radar is more work so that works submarine have radar sonar? It depends how has down studio catalogue it's but I think that that gets the message across to some degree. Go hype. I just wanted to look at some teams that have kinda changed the way I feel about the team like the lions where I I spent a decade decade plus thinking that they're like a raging bull of vanilla ice cream and I can't wait to not watch them every week and the changing my mind after one month and raging bowl of right I feel that way a little bit of obviously about the Jaguars with with Gartner Mints You I thought that week four chain changed the way I feel about the browns from where I was a week ago which was internal concern about them that there's some light so a couple teams that in week four changed built some understanding the hook now of the weekly column on my Iradar by Mark Cecil that typically when we use the phrase on my radar on this show it's for negative reasons but that is the beauty the the subversive nature of on my radar with Marc Chandler that it's positive radio radar is something you're seeing. You don't know if it's a friendly craft or a or a now. We have some negative radars but positive over well. I've also learned that you know when you're when you're when you're offering one of these things a week that if you go super negative it's tends to disappear in the mix from the social selling point so if you can pump things interest but I also think it's early in the year and I've not gone totally cynical yet that will happen. I think this will get a very grim weekly very positive ties ties in directly again with the Cleveland browns making you happy on Sunday and that all filters out so if we got another big brown's victory on Monday night I I bet on my radar is going to be another sunshine well. I'm not going to be writing about them every week. Then it's that looks ridiculous. That's true the what about the head. What about the journalism awesome saying if it bleeds it leads? I never heard that remind you felt dot.

"Of all sleep podcast. Oh possibly the emperor june thomas is here. I just wanna it'd be clear felix that this is not a podcast. It's just a precursor to see if i might be open to podcasting perfect okay one of these days. I'm gonna teach you about off. The record means okay. I'm okay but june is is a is a poor knife def- who doesn't really understand the ways of the world <hes> you who brought in a piece of paper. What is your piece of paper. It is a printout of the poem communities by alfred lord tennyson which clearly is the key to all of succession this because when we're getting a little ahead of ourselves in this episode so but a certain point logan brings back frank and he gives me watch and on the back of the watch is a quotation from this poem. I believe it says some work of noble note may yet be done and of course i mean that immediately suggested to me ulysses by alfred lord tennyson is indeed a poem. It's kind of poem poem about <hes> a lion in winter and <hes> kind of raging against the light and getting one less deal before you get snuffed out. That's logan. I i did not realize that it was tennyson because there was all of that talk before he got invited back to the corporate retreat in hungarian schloss schloss of shakespeare something so i just assumed it was shakespeare line. I didn't know <hes> but it's not now and it's my my in depth research. You know google google and just before we came into the studio reveal that tennis naturally wrote this after a close friend died so it's about the end of life but it was written fifty years before tenison died so it's maybe a little bit premature but you know you go and franco's knew it. He likes he immediately recited. The following line is kind of like you know subtle flex this charming fuck that he is yeah. That's why he's been brought in again because he's going to trump goes pierces so session we start at the top and make our way to that beautiful. We're gonna make away at that point and we can. We can speculate about the real life equivalents of frank <hes> but yeah <hes> this is pretty much the the darkest cruelest. I episode of succession. I think i've ever seen yes. Oh yeah i mean the episode is called hunting and ostensibly. That's a reference to the retreat but really this episode is about logan hunting for snakes and rats and his house and finding those who betrayed him and it's the opening scene is greg june. Dan was alluding to sitting with the journalists saying you know we're not meeting. This is just a precursor to me. Dang i want to jump in here. Of course we're just going to be like quoting lines to hold on my think. My favorite line of the entire episode comes right to talk about greg says i'm a time pressed executive. Yes of of course he's very important and i think i think she reassures him. At some point she says i know you've been in many meetings many things but i feel like greg trek has this one line which sort of sets up the whole episode essentially when he he calls his uncle logan he calls him scary addictive paranoid and violent and basically that's what this episode is. That's what the big scene build stu godless. Is it foreshadowing a little foreshadowing a little bit of foreshadowing hearing episode three. I don't think it's too self aggrandizing to hope. I might have some wisdom to part. There is no time like the present would needs to be discreet. I don't wanna make my uncle mad because he could be well. He can be scary indicative paranoid and violent indicative sorry none of this. I'm not actually saying that yet. Oh would you like this meeting <hes> to be on background but this isn't you can't. I said anything. It did look great. If if you want this to be anonymous you have to say that from the outset. You can't do that retroactively. No because this isn't a meeting this you can't. That's that's not fair. That's unfair yeah and then basically this is all built up to getting to that retreat we go to the boardroom. We learn that logan now. I want to make another run for this company p._g._m. Pierce which i think is the in the real world is the wall street journal basically and the pierce. His family is the bancroft. Isn't that what you think also feel like you told me that so. I have been very careful and diligent religion about not watching the episodes before we talk about them. However i have read various various things in the hollywood reporter and by ed lee in the new york times about how that is going to be some kind of salzburger bancroft dish clan turning up later later on in the season. I believe holly hunter's the matriarch. Although i saw the preview that jerry jones seems to be matriarchal to or maybe jerry jones is the may if you're not entirely sure we will find out <hes> given how much talk we've had of p._s. and p._g._m. One has to assume that this big <hes> newspaper. Eh liberal ish respected news organization <unk> family. <hes> is moral nurse of course the big difference being that neither the suspect has the bancroft had gotta know the bancroft had any semblance of a t._v. Network right that's why i had elements of b sky b coming in which obviously is not a direct parallel and they never going to make direct right parallels but there's oh they make dire but they outfits. Get them slight episode ever so slightly but yeah i mean there was also talk about p._s. This being like the amount they were going to have to pay was going to be twenty. Billion dollars has an part of the reason to buy is the if they load up with twenty billion dollars of debt in order to do so that makes them too big for you know sandy sandy in st louis to to stomach widely. It's it's it's a snake. Taking on a crocodile is too awesome line which again just to in terms of real life. Neither the the new york times company nor dow jones was ever worth anywhere near twenty billion dollars so you know we're not clear exactly what the parallels might be unless emily you have something in mind i mean the parallels did seem to me a little bit like rupert murdoch going after the wall street journal. It's the same kind of thing. He wanted it for for a really long time. It's very prestigious you know his company is kind of this trashy. What what's this whole thing. That jerry brings up in the boardroom logan served a party service wore white wine <hes> effectively as sort of a bad review of a charity party in one of their publications. I think somebody else also suggested that it's what uncle you and watches so we haven't seen in this season but i i miss uncle you and the other says to a roman. My parents watch that that's like actual news another point. I think shift kind of says something like if we buy appears. It's like who's gonna actually report. The news like this is a real problem. I just feel like take. It reminded me of back. When murdoch was hunting the journal or you know at the time you can go back. I would actually go back a few years before that <hes> mhm to two thousand when times mirror which was this kind of schlocky media chain spend eight billion billion dollars mostly in debt to buy up tribune which and the time was a highly respectable meteoroid which not only the chicago tribune but also the los angeles times times and i feel like it's more similar to that again you know the parallels you maybe it's a little bit of a stretch but in any case this is this is the the new macguffin this is the mig macguffin is driving the whole season at least sofa is is logan really going to you know put his entire company at risk and raise twenty billion a ah debt to buy peace and he the size in the middle of this massive clocks award that he has going on with sandy and julie that he's going to like the entire family basically on the corporate jet which i'm sure would not be allowed. According to <hes> you know corporate you know the the i'm sure there will be someone saying no you come every single member of your family on the same page ships at home and shipped back at home his back talk about connor. Hey guys we have to talk about of course we have to talk about china but he puts them on the jet all of his senior executives on this jet and they will fly off to this loss in <hes> hungry for what is being billed as a morale-boosting corporate retreat. It made me realize how every corporate retreat i've ever been on was doing it totally wrong wrong and while mohawk might have been maddest sometimes they had no reason to were so good never never doc never shuts it for also never made people act like boars so obviously totally failing at corporate retreating. I'm there is no scramble for sausage on the floor. Therefore no morale was boosted no so yes so basically logan brings everyone to to hungary hungry way has two things in particular that he's angry about one is that someone has talked talked to the to his biographer and he's angry about that because he doesn't want anyone to talk to his biographer and number two is that someone someone has leaked to the family that he's interested in buying them and in another one of those wonderful lyons when his bank because talking to him about life. We're going to try and buy p._s. It's going to be very it's delicate like french kissing and amadeo like he's like we need to to be very very very very careful about how exactly we approach them of course roman being the complete up just budges ahead by getting his girlfriend to like do something with her ex girlfriend annette he so he's one of one of our many xs is a pierce and so he gets her he gets that pierced his contacts from tabitha and <hes> he said <hes> how are you factor and he says fuck everyone and she of course is not you so june. I'm glad the your your head this episode because you can speculate wildly about roman sexuality well. I think the the sexuality of all of the roy's is basically. They don't make partnerships for sex they make partnerships for is like old royle's right. You just have to find somebody who's the right religion in in luke's right and unlike the royals <hes> can breed. I mean it doesn't seem like any of the science of the roy. Family really are married for love or fancying. It's all you know they're. They're monarchical marriages right yeah but it's it does seem like shiv. I think at some point in this episode calls her husband. Tom meat puppet making it very clear what she actually thinks of him and his role but then she does go out and kind of like have have this. I guess one night stand what this kind of this actor dude who has no screens at home his news only from comedians so she does have some kind have like sexual appetite. It would seem the i think she has a sexual appetite. I'm interested in whether roman has a sexual appetite and if so what it might be he had that moment with jerry towards the end they have yes jerry that was lovely when he asked do people often make moves on you and she said well yeah but they're usually over eighteen. That was a very sweet jerry is the greatest i mean obviously. Obviously you know very capable of any sudden movement. I would totally pounce on your right now..

It's just a precursor to see if i might be open to podcasting perfect okay one of these days. I'm gonna teach you about off. The record means okay but june is is a is a poor knife def- who doesn't really understand the ways of the world <hes> you who brought in a piece of paper. What is your piece of paper. It is a printout of the poem when you lucy's by alfred lord tennyson which clearly is the key to all of succession. I'm so into this because when we're getting a little ahead of ourselves in this episode so but a certain point logan brings back frank and he gives me watch and on the back of the watch is a quotation from this poem. Is it foreshadowing. Maybe a little foreshadowing a little bit of foreshadowing hearing episode three. I don't think it's too self aggrandizing to hope. I might have some wisdom to part..
