"The last. two years have been better than any organization at extending championship windows. They took the mid. They took the ninety dynasty through two thousand twelve. That's unheard no and the reload to brian cashman's credit. Although many people will not give him credit for anything pitching related but the the reload that he did in two thousand sixteen was impressive. And i thought gutsy because it was not the not. The yankee thing to do is not something that was. There was really much of a precedent for but he did he do on the pitching front though he owned he has away. The reliever is saying there's a lot of people that shit on him pitching which is doing. That's fair yeah. I think very fair here. We are here. We are in two thousand two hundred twenty two thousand twenty one off season. We're talking about the yankees have won starting in. You know we're about to talk about the fact of potentially going going out and trading for sunny freaking gray. That's what we're about to talk about. No so so lindsay. Add the wrote that in the athletic it about reunions with yankees previous yankee. Starters you mentioned jay hap- lance lynn. Who now we know is what the white sox we she mentioned gray. And i forget the other what James paxton the sunny great thing. Bloomington ockers in the in the mix of of these conversations. Were talking about the yankees. not even. there's there's there's talk that the yankees aren't even interested in extending him so or bring in. That's what andy martino reported in. S n y although. We've seen caspian do this before lurk in the darkness. not no. He's in he's in ninja in the offseason cashman's indonesia you like to hear honesty from him. I like to hear nothing. Or or i like the mystery. Because he's playing a game it's he he strategic when he's honest because he last offseason was very honest they were in on garrett cole right. You almost can't be honest. you can't get i about that. No i know but when it's when it's when it's on the obvious and it's in your face. Yeah he's going to be like okay. Fine yes so but when but he what. Brian cashman has behind. Him is the yankees engine. Which which can spend more money than anyone even more money than the dodgers even though the dodgers have outspent them in recent years so what he can do when he's in on garrett cole he can scare off some some some teams so he can tactically say. Yeah we're going. We're going in big donald trump. When he but other guys tanaka or james paxton or maybe a trade for lance lynn. All these other when he knows he's going to have tons of competition and he knows that he doesn't want to drive the price up because he's not willing to go over the top for these guys. He lurks darkness. He's like bane he lives. He was born in doctors. There's a bunch of There's a bunch of scenarios we could look at the other side of that two. Gm's or you know. He's he's playing chess. And i like it so it's it's good. I think good things. I don't want my gym to be completely honest with me to be to be to be honest. But if if these this reporting is right and the yankees are not looking to add to their starting rotation. They're in deep doo doo for twenty twenty one. Yeah we're doing the same thing we did. Unless unless the kids come up and and And completely shine and george. Montgomery returns the form which. I do believe that he can. I think he's gonna be. I next year is the year that We're we're looking at jordan. Montgomery as as as you know being a solid number. Three number. Four pitcher i. That's that's where i think he's ceiling is and i think that that's the and that's great but that's not going to win you a championship. It certainly can help you need that. You absolutely need that. You need a guy like that. During mccomb has got the ability to go deeper in games. I think he's he's he's a very good fit for the rotation so i think that they believe that he will be fully healthy and akkad point. Here's here's what. Lindsey wrote in the athletic in her article about the yankees. Bring back sunny greg. James paxton the reds appear to be salary dumping this offseason particularly evidenced by the trade. They made on monday to send closer. Russell iglesias to anaheim for light return would gray be available on the trademark. It seems likely know. Would he even remotely be a candidate for return to new york. Conventional wisdom says no by a lot can change in a few years. And i just have two words for you. Have your vazquez yet. they're different though. Because sunny grades. A bitch and javier vazquez didn't smile at all of us and didn't didn't do the off off the field. I don't even remember what he did off the field but no. He didn't do anything but the point is that he did not perform in new york and then he he performed before new york then he didn't perform in new york and then he performed after new york and then he didn't perform in new york and then he performed after new york some guys. Jj said this before. They have doodoo down their pants immediately when they see the empire state building. I believe that as well. I believe there is a lot of things that go beyond the the actual pitching in the mount. Everybody is blaming. Larry rothschild at this point because now that we've seen what sunny gray done in cincinnati. Oh by the way with his pitching coach from college. The guy that has to be with him for him to have any success but they see that and now we're like okay. This guy is would be an addition that would be positive for this team. We want him back. So there's there's a lot of you know blind faith that those skills those numbers are going to now translate when he's in the bronx in the in the in the pinstripes and i just maybe it's maybe no fans in the stands will help him so maybe that maybe this is an opportunity for him. Okay so then what happens what happens twenty gets on the zoom calls and so this is actually starting sunday. Grapevine loves this whole scenario no touching. He doesn't have to get near..

"Since. I mean, since we're talking about it, I mean, look. Dream. The debate of Mike Leach. I mean, think about Mike Legion, where he's been and where he's had the air raid office. Can Mike Leach and I'm going to ask this question. Can Mike leads to take the air raid offense and bring it to the NFL? To the Detroit Lions. And win games and make the play offs. They're off. Playoffs. You kill me. I know, man. I I don't think so. And he's done it everywhere. Everywhere. He's gone. He's done it. Way and I've dogged out. Cliff cleans. Barry. I have dog Give clean Cliff Kingsbury out, but He got? He got the quarterback You wanted. And he's doing to them. They're doing pretty good. I think the I don't think they're going to be a playoff team, but I think they're going to be a competitive team and they'll play really well and I'm talking about the The Arizona Cardinals. I just don't think. Ah, Mike Leach is the mean. Yeah, College coach Wise. He's been. He's been recently successful. I guess you would say, I don't know if ah I'll know where has been successful. "Very tactical. This one could pose a little bit of a problem to midnight destiny. Both conditioned by our man, Jonathan Long but give a little bit of a left to the to. I think both the two and the four definitely must be used for any type of exotic as far as your played effect. Freeze your pay for the Give a little bit of an edge to the two with his recent victory on a little bit more tactical, right, 10? Very Scott. We move on the race number five. Race five. Tuffy there. There's a couple copies today there. I thought the six was very difficult. There's another one a little bit later on in the card, I think late race eight. Very, very difficult races ahead of us. I don't have a strong opinion here and OK, we'll skip the fifth. Let's go to the six ways were a little bit give you a little bit of that. Maybe the two are at least six. So one if I'm going If I don't have a strong opinion, why not take a shot with two of the most inexperienced portion the rate sometimes I like to go with that angle, the most inexperienced against unproven Forces that have not been able to get the job done. You have a little bit of a look to the two. Not not a strong endorsement, though. Okay, moving on in a six. Take a look that always called boom Chicka boom 2 to 1 on the morning line. You know, I have a tendency with my handicapping over the years. I've always been inquired to choose closers. Perhaps that's why I run 2nd and 3rd. And I'm always getting four out of five and five out of six. But Boom, Chika boom is the horse on the front and no question about it. She's the fastest. This is therefore start after a long layoff. She has a really good recent work out of the gate. Everything points that she's on the front and in the race goes through her. I like speed or getting blinkers up. I think it's always been a good angle. That's kind of head and over the years, not getting a big price. We know she's going to be on the front end. So let's say the rate goes through her and they got to come and get it. I thought the one was fairly intriguing. Six had a little bit of a look. But I think boom chicka boom is the quickest It's only a five furlong turf race. So let's put her on the front end, and if you can come and get her in the late stages, then then you deserve the victory. But I'll take the 2 to 1 and try to move forward. Any thought on 1/7 race day. Yeah. Seventh race seventh race. I really like good quality. First off of always, like handicapping upper echelon type of quality. This is one of the better race. Is this not the best race on the card? Been a big fan of princess being been very impressed with what I've seen from her. There It is again once a closer that I just really, really admire. It's hard not to pick that, too. In this spot left alone. She's Let's just talk but wasn't 10 race. She wants nothing to do with conventional dirt racetrack. She's she's out of a British, sire and a British. Damn. All of her success has been over the synthetic. Kind of raise three back on the 22nd of March is absolutely incredible. 45 food or nine and three, she comes home like a freight train making up 3.5. She's a little bit more attacked a cold and princess that beyond so she'll be in a better position. Getting first run. Looks like there's a decent amount of paid. You have to a true tiptop gal out of a five furlong race now going six with rail draws going to make page. My sweet Lou wants to before the place the outside. Yeah likes to be up there. Everything points were left alone to get first run on Princess Vivian. And if left alone repeat that race from late March. She's the horse that she's working like a monster. Look at her work to have a minute 59, 4 59 and one boy, It's hard not to really love left alone this afternoon. All right. I just handicapper Tony Caillaux Handicapped Final three on the card. Today we're going to run 10, and in the eight they share thoughts. This is a difficult race. You know, I really did some time trying to Ah, research all of the dam's. You know when when I get young horses, and there's not a lot of proven formal. I like to go look up the mothers. I'd like to see what distances they want, and I like to see if they thrown any other runners. This race was very difficult. In my opinion. We will start with the one. She's out of a New Zealand bred mare. The Mayrand quite here in the United States to conclude our career didn't really run a jumper. Last race was at Fairplex. She probably wants her. Or synthetic. She gets to today. I like the two recent works. Greg James has got a couple of them looks like his other one outworks. This one on the ninth of August. You know a low profile? Damn. I kind of looked a different direction to my father's footstep. We look at her. Where we look at him. He's obviously the player but we have to take note. Both those races World Reserve track it pleasant. I looked up the dam and kind of. Ironically, the dam's last victory wasn't at Finger Lakes in 2015. Another. Yeah. You know, it's kind of funny. I didn't remember the horse, the metal, but I thought the owner MMA trainer with Island Win and Chris Angle hard and I'm like, Hey, look at this. A figure like yours. Her other victory was over a dirt track. I believe that AK would up so there wasn't a lot pointing towards the synthetic. I thought we're going to get a short price..

"I believe we're at eleven. Yeah Eleven. Yes sir. That was your eleven. That was my. Eddie George was my number twelve. Okay. Because we my Gun market already. Miles. Peterson. Okay. So he's done him. So I'll go with my eleven. Then comes from the same college they Adrian Peterson a little bit earlier flashy as they come baby the back of the Barry, Switzer era met Billy Sims billy sims was just a phenomenal running back at speed. To burn dramatic, feel thirty, five, hundred, yards, forty, five touchdowns in you know playing for that multiple that wish going attack of Oklahoma where he just share the ball a lot says a lot of billion I I just love watching him run when he was at Oklahoma for the sooners Even though it's hard to root for sooner various with. made it made it were my day. No doubt he was kind of a little tiny bit before my time but I've heard the stories and I've seen the tape, the guy, the guy was phenomenal and I'm not a huge. I was not a big huge Oklahoma fan back in the day. But I gotta give respect to him my number nine I think is where where are we? Right. Now. We're ten. Yeah. Ten is another guy from Texas. It seems like we're we're hitting the the old southwest conference a lot here, and that's because they just they did they had some of the best running backs and this guy was of the best running backs of all time in college and the pros, and that was Eric Dickerson from smu seven, hundred, ninety, Russia's forty, four, hundred yards forty seven touchdowns finished third in the heisman and eighty two was the number two draft pick coming out in the first round and. Just man that that team, the the Mustang's there I mean I know they were they were getting paid. Dickerson was driving around is Transam, and you know these guys were making more in college than they were in the pros but who cares I mean they were so fun to watch and he was just such an unbelievable running back. Everybody was like Oh his his upright styles never gonNA work and he's GonNa get hurt and he just kind of laughed at him and and just ran over or by anybody that tried to tackle him. and. You know he is my exact number ten. It's yourself and other thing is you got to remember his he had those yards and he had Craig James in the in the same backfield cranking out just many ours almost yes. I. Mean. You think about that I mean the Pony Express Back Heel Greg, James in an Air Dickerson I mean phenomenal running back running a phenomenal. Team unfortunately, like you said, it was Martin scandal eventually but I mean. What can you say I? Mean that's what happens in college. Sports Everybody gets a little pink somewhere along the way, but it doesn't take away from the kind of player he was. So Eric Dickerson is my number ten is well, my number nine was Ron Dane. So we'll skip right to your number nine. My number nine is Earl Campbell earl the Pearl seven, hundred, sixty, five.

"Don't sell your house. The jobs are all coming back. He said they're all coming back. All come back enough heart of Ohio counties that had long been democratic strongholds transformed to Trump friendly territory Trump vastly outperformed previous Republican presidential candidates and even turn Trumbull county from blue to red that county is home to the GM Lordstown plant where Bill Janik is one of the few workers still on the payroll. So we are just shutting things down and in my last day is Friday, and I think very soon everybody will be out of here this week. President Trump has been tweeting up a storm about Lordstown going after GM and the local auto workers union president calling on them to fix this fast. Quote, I am not happy that this is closed when everything else in our country is booming. When GM announced that it would be closing the plant where the small Chevy Cruze sedan is made it said it was part. Of a larger restructuring because consumers aren't buying small cars and GM wanted to invest in autonomous and electric vehicle technology, GM, CEO cited Trump's steel and aluminum tariffs. I could see why he's looking for someone to blame for the awkward closures at Lordstown and elsewhere Mark Niro at the Brookings Institution has written about trends and manufacturing employment. The White House this week touted a surge in what it called blue collar employment that is people working in jobs where they make durable goods two hundred and fifteen thousand of those jobs were added last year that mirrow says that papers over signs of weakness in the auto industry. Trump is right to claim that manufacturing's been growing, but unfortunately, for Trump the most visible industry within manufacturing is the auto sector, and the honest sector has distinct yellow flashing lights now, and it's actually beginning to growth is decelerating in Lordstown. And Ohio's Mahoning valley. There are people like Chucky Denison who blamed Trump at least partially for what's happening. Whatever thought that you could buy a new Chevy blazer in the new Harley to let me go in America. And this has happened under his watch. And he could have done something about it. Instead, you know, he come community in life to these people do not so your home's Denison used to work at the Lordstown plant along with his fiancee. Now, he's working at a plant forty five minutes away in Ohio, and she's had to move to Tennessee to keep working for GM. It broke up his family. He says he didn't vote for Trump. But now he's become an activist protesting at Trump rallies with a group called good jobs nation for Bill Janik who voted for Trump and his still inclined to support him. The tweets about Lordstown send another signal that Trump is fighting. I think bringing attention to what's happening is helping our 'cause I I do Trump comment about keeping this often. That's all we want. That's all we're doing too and is Trump gears up for his reelection campaign when he can't point to promises kept. He instead turns to fights fought tamra Keith NPR news, Washington, Florida pastor, Greg James is one of the more than one million people with felony convictions whose right to vote was restored last November. That's on Floridians voted to approve amendment four. There was joy beyond measure. But yet it's still there was questions in my mind. What kind of resistance would we face pastor James was probably right to the worried. Now, the Republican controlled state legislature is moving forward with a plan that would make it more difficult for many of those same felons to qualify to vote. Steve Bosquet covers the Florida capital, and he explained who might be affected by the spill their targeting the two areas where people are. Not allowed to give their voting rights restored, and those people who've committed murder and felony sex crimes, and they are adopting in the house, a very expansive broad definition of those two things the definition of murder is interpreted by some legislators to include attempted murder because the person had the intent of taking another life. In addition to that houses saying that you have to pay all your fines fees and costs that were part of the court's sentence before you can get your rights back, even though traditionally are clemency board that restores voting rights has not considered that as a factor. Democrats are outraged and they consider this a poll tax just like the kind that was imposed the Jim crow era, and that really inflamed the passions. When this was being debated in Tallahassee. What do you think are the reasons Republicans seem intent to restrict the number of people who's voting rights will be restored by this ballot initiative? Well, you have to remember that it's a Republican legislature and the house is more conservative than the Senate. So there's a lot that has to still play out here and governor Rhonda Santa's is going to have a say as well. But I would say that because the leadership of the legislature never had much enthusiasm for this issue. Their motives are suspect and Representative James Grant, whose crafted the first version of this Bill says he's only trying to explain what the intent is of the amendment, but he's being accused here of trying to disenfranchise people. I mean, I guess what I'm trying to ask is these felons. Who's voting rights will be restored? Most of them are people of color is there a perception that these voters will not be Republican-leaning. And maybe that's why Republican lawmakers are motivated in role. Going back this ballot initiative. Absolutely. We're talking about a universe of about one point four million people, they are disproportionately African American. So they're going to tend to be democrat more than Republican or independent. It's not lost on anyone that were coming into a presidential election cycle in a state that was critical to President Trump winning in two thousand sixteen. We've just gotten an announcement of a major voter registration effort by the Florida Democratic Party. So registering voters in Florida has never been a bigger deal than it is right now and this amendment plays right into that conversation. How likely is this that that these lawmakers will little see there will bear fruit given that they control the legislature, and there's a Republican governor. That's correct. And Rhonda Santa says said the new governor has said that he supports the legislature writing implementing legislation here. But here's the issue. That's important for folks not to lose sight of this is at least the third. Time in recent years, we've had a constitutional amendment approved by the voters where the legislature stands accused of trying to undermine what the voters had in mind. This happened with the medical marijuana amendment. And it happened with a pro environment amendment to protect land and water resources here, again issues the legislature wouldn't deal with. So the public took matters into their own hands. Only to find themselves at the mercy of the legislature in the final analysis because they get to write the fine print that Steve.

Joining the now are warmer NFL pro bowlers, Greg James and TJ who's zodda Marcellus straw with. You you believe a portion of the hey report of the patriot. Yeah. Is because of race. This topic is vice go a lot of plays e emphasized that portion Jay. Four soon. One. I just want to make sure that I use a premise that is fact based go with some numbers before I really pine. It would feel patriots looking at their roster sixty six percent of it is black. Okay. And you'd like dang. Or is that a lot of that not in average bit reported that seventy percent. But then I started to say just a perception a lot of this is a perception argument. What's the blackest team in NFL just in perception? And I was like damn probably the Baltimore Ravens with me, you know, even at uniform black. They got our quarterback name. Lamar Jackson pretty black. You're running back named gust black people don't even call themselves. Gus no more general gusts accord new we'll do that no more. So I'm like back team. And then I looked at a number of sixty four percent black a little less black Dane, the patriots are perceived as a white team. So when you start looking at these numbers interesting, and then I started remind myself the patriots dynasty when it began. I was still in the league plan to get the patriots in the same division. It wasn't about Tom Brady and so-called white players. It was about players like this will for Willie McGuinness..

"Six. Greg jarrett. Our guest legal analyst for the Fox News chattels. We get back to some calls for Greg James Comey page two hundred thirty five of the Russia hoax. Here you say firing Comey was not obstruction of Justice. What exactly was it? It was firing for just cause. It was based on the memo that rod Rosenstein, the deputy attorney general volunteered to write. And in it. He recounts all of the misconduct by Comey violated FBI regulations. He used surf the towers, the attorney general, and he was guilty of Rankin subordinate insubordination, and that was supported by six former attorneys general and deputy attorneys general from both democrat and Republican serving president. So. And the inspector general found the exact same thing in his report that he came out with last may. So it was it was a justified firing frankly Comey should have been fired the very day that he cleared Hillary Clinton. By twisting, the facts and contorted in the law. He originally found that she was grossly negligent he wrote it down twice, but he wanted to clear her anyway. As I explained in the book. So we had Christopher. I'm sorry. Peter Struck and Lisa page sanitize. His exoneration statement to remove the incriminating language. Go ahead. Go ahead. And so he clears her, and what people don't know is on the very same day that he cleared her. His FBI was meeting for the first time in London. With Christopher Steele, the author of the anti-trump dossier paid for by Hillary Clinton. Based on so-called Russian information. That was never proven never verified an armed with that they used it as a pretext to launch the investigation of Trump and spy on his campaign. Those who of course, the James Comey statement. I remember listening to it and thinking my gosh, he's laying out the perfect case for indicting, Hillary Clinton, and at the end he says, but no reasonable prosecutor would would go down this road, blah, blah, blah, blah, thinking I had whiplash. What you you just showed why any reasonable prosecutor? Would it was remarkable to me? And the second point is we did we go to that call and that would be this is at the FBI director place to recommend prosecution. I thought the FBI merely investigated and provided the information for others that. And that's that's the main reason why he was fired usurping the power of the attorney general he had no business making that decision. And so that was the main reason he should have been fired that day by Loretta Lynch, the attorney general, and instead, you know, he remained on the job until he was fired in may of two thousand seventeen by President Trump. And then he steals government documents leaks them to the media for the purpose of appointing a special counsel who just happens to be is longtime friend colleague and ally, Robert Muller. So the fixes been in from the beginning. We'll start this call with Jack and Chester West Virginia by them to finish it past the break. Go ahead, Jack. Gentleman. I just wanna ask your question. Is it the case that the former administration and people that are still currently in the top these intelligence agencies conspired with people for England, Russia and Australia to overthrow the elected president of the United States. And if that's the case. And it seems like it is I'm nobody seems like it is why have not these people been arrested. Well, that that that the heck of a question that six we're right on top of a break. Here will simply let the answer a wait until we come back with our guest Gregg Jarrett legal analyst with Fox News author of the Russia hoax back in a moment. Milwaukee..

"Happy new year. Happy new year to you, John. Oria? Good didn't call game last night. Okay. Cooling this soon. I talked about my my change in position with with sports. Of course. So what what happened this year and move to do less games and color more games on the panel on the version of code. Way better than Curtis. His. We saw when when this was it's a it's a lot less money. Semi retired is on telling people, which is absolutely not true. So when I was asked about why degree they're making this change. I came back to me. And then I used to work with the sharks. When Greg Davidson, the president was sharks us three times. He called me onto the carpet. And he said three things to be different times that should have struck should've stuck with me, and I should have remembered them, but you guys know me, I'm not very smart. So I forget these types of things it should be life changing altering put me on a better path. The first time you got me in. I said something was going to happen on the ice. His face off whining happening. Exactly. Like, you said it was going to the ducks scored eighty. And I called the coach. A coach on the next day. I got called me office and Greg James just because you're right. Does it make you bulletproof? One. Should remember that the second time mentioned something on the air. That I probably shouldn't have inside information and contain sits had to meet a second time, you know, too much for you as a broadcaster. That's a dangerous thing. Number two. You're learning. I didn't I didn't learn anything. For the third one. And this is what I get to this is, you know, it's it's come around. Again, the third one. When I was talking to you, both the sharks are playing in a particular stretch of games, they playing very well. Greg. Greg. Kirkwood again. And he said, drew your honesty isn't always appreciated around. What a great way to put it. And that actually came back this summer when I was told that I was moving. I was told that my honesty wasn't always. Well. Changes. Here's the thing. Did you ever ask these people that tell you this? If if you can't be honest, and you can't say what you see. Then when the team actually is good. The why why if I'm a viewer? Why would I put any stock into you praising at team when you have no negative when you have no criticism for a team. Because to me if you're critical of a team when they deserve to be criticized, then when you say something praising the team, then it carries some weight, if you don't then that's all you do is either praised the team or just kind of go gotta go along with the program until you can praise a team. It carries no weight whatsoever. And I'm just I'm dumbfounded that more people. Don't don't realize that. Maybe they just don't care. I think more they don't care that exact discussion with Kevin constantly with the time when Greg Jamison left Kevin became there's an older, and he became the guy that would call me after games and getting out of many many discussion. And my my saying to him was if I can't critique the team, honestly, can I praise them with any credibility? And he said if you want to be a journalist, here's what happens makes thirty five thousand dollars a year. Let's fly commercial in two thousand motels. You wanna be journalist? It's all yours. Which was a pretty good argument. See, you know, what I'll be honest with you. I I that's that's a lame argument Compton. Because you know, what they want drew? I mean, they wanted to be marketing arm. Infomercial for the for the team. And look, I get you. Don't want to have your broadcasters crushing your team that doesn't make good business. There's a way you can do. There's gotta be a balancing act and they don't want that balancing act. They don't see the. I mean, they Bill woman people love Bill wall. He's recrossed the clippers. I mean when I was playing for the clippers. They I'd go home and like watching the gauges to see what he had to say, we're planning Portland one time. And he goes, oh, the inmates clearly running the asylum here. Crushes it is. But people love that about him. I mean, he was honest, and he was kind of goofy. And I think they could probably sell it as oh that's just Bill, you know, don't pay too much attention to Bill. But I mean, I I think is an if I'm watching a team I want the broadcaster to be honest with me now, you can be honest from the viewpoint of the home team because that's who your viewers are. But you can't you can't toward a sugar coat everything. And I think, you know, here's what happens drew. I think when the broadcaster says stuff, and they're critical of the team then the season ticket base and the people that are viewing the game. Wanna call the GM on the carpet wanna call the coach on the carpet munition. We see that too. We know what he's talking about it. We want change, and they don't want to have to deal with that when they don't have to. So I think it's, you know, it's it's all this seaway CYA crap that people are dealing with. And it's a lot easier to just never broadcaster the sugar coats, everything, and they don't have to deal with the fans calling and saying, hey, drew said there's a drew said that it's a bunch of garbage is what it is. But you're right. Keep your job. You got to play the game. I guess you do was for me. I I listen to my core. You shouldn't insulted fans intelligence. Yup. They know when you're full of crap they know when you're when you're not on the shoulder and tell them it's raining. They know. And and I think most fans almost into two key would want honesty before anything broadcasters. I might be we know minority. No. I think you're right. Hey, if you're like have you ever happier age, you could just jump on Twitter and say, hey, if you like my analysis VIN Momis, send me a dollar, but everybody does nowadays. Everyone else to pay their way, exactly. Oh, my goodness gracious. So the so the. Most people might do a go. Get rid of me now. The sharks are kind starting to look like the sharks. So we thought they look like. Yeah. Yeah. They really are. They move, you know, which we've talked about this law guys those guys just to the point where they start to really care about the regular season. And they start to understand that they've got something special. So the engine. Couple of weeks ago, and Peter did or and Pierce. We started talking about the team and where. I was Carson. And he said, you know, he knows what people saying in Canada. Why is there crash innocuous slow start? What's going on with him? And he said last two weeks ago. He said this guy is not yet scratch the surface of how good he is. And how he will be able to show people coach against them. You know when when he was coaching in eastern in Florida, not jersey. So he. You just wait guy starts to really get going. And now you get going with fourteenth street now. Yeah. He's gonna list with Paul Coffey way. So how's the latest defenseman of our the last past generations? He's on the list now. Point streak because just Justin games. So it's me. Absolutely. What he's doing right now, and you can tell he's starting to be really really comfortable playing with the sharks. And he's no longer in. You're the guy that kind of brought this up to me. He no longer thinking before he does something you talked about being being happy being actually just kind of comes as instinct you can practice you think like journey game. It's all instincts. Right. Absolutely. If you think during the game, you're screwed. Yeah. Exactly. And so he now you can tell he's he's just playing now Joe starting to feel healthier. Yeah. I watched a couple of weeks ago. He's not even on he should ninety percent. He some other things bothering them at his age and kind of come back to those two major surgeries even ninety percent. Joe's pretty damn good. And you can see that starting to go. I think he said something else that was really interesting bunch, Gordon, Joe. Media room. It's pretty hard to be solved. I love that was great about Joe. And he does have that you chose not even on that first politics. Greatest passer, we have seen in the last since Wayne Gretzky is not on the power play unit for the San Jose Sharks. Wow. This week. We just healthy is see what happens here, and you can just see the team starting to play. You can just see they're starting to really believe that they've got something special. And they are they are team that since that they can really do something you'll Calgary surprise teams in the Pacific sharks. Now, what does sound five in a row for the sharks and auto on Saturday? I'll be actually I'm doing that can't undo Jenner game on Saturday and in San Jose. Hi, I'm piss anybody off my that's my that's my Christmas bonus. You watch Ottawa. Eight zero. So that I do that game. But they sharks are team. Now that you can see the depth is really starting school. I think. Yeah. Okay. Three bounced off guys, but still they were positioned scored the guys at scored no different different players. A lot of different people involved. It's not just the same Kathy characters putting up points. So it's they're starting to play man. We're starting to look like a team that can get on it. I think one of the things that's underrated in every sport. Is Erik Carlson comes over. It was kind of an emotional trade for him to come down here. It's not only what's going on on the ice. Who is you know, how it is around here finding your way around here and and getting comfortable and all those things and then you've got these teammates and all this kind of stuff. And now, it just seems like overall he just seems comfortable on the ice off the ice everything. And it just takes time. It does. It calls tire to until this year with the Ottawa in a market where every time she came off the ice who was on the ice cameras on he walked into and everybody came to talk to him. And he was the guy in Ottawa. He was the man now he comes to a new team with big personalities huge personality to Joe Thornton returns. And losing. He's a big personality too. And it takes time to yourself to your teammates to as you said your your situation, and he went through. Let's not forget he went through a whole thing last year with with his baby being stillborn. I mean, that's an awful thing. And he was I remember talking on before the book because we we did the game we did Ottawa origina- last year, and he was so excited about the person that's going to take a toll. All the BS online about what happened between him and his family, and my Costner's girlfriend allegedly sorry and all that stuff. I mean, he went to a lot up and down emotionally and and had to take a toll on. And so now just to let that go. And and just be able to play in the one thing that the sharks while they do a lot of things one thing the organization does really well, they take away all that stuff. All those peripheral Pat Riley used to say peripheral opponents, the ones that we're going to beat you. The sharks. Do a great job as an organization taking away the peripheral opponents and now you can just see that golsen starting to play. Race skating on the ice the smile on the bench yesterday. We took by the way, you know, what? Okay, Eric, I get it. You've got a great mane of hair. You don't have to keep throwing in my face. Take the helmet off. All right. Keep the helmet on every once in a while for crying out loud. Challenge. Chelsea never going to get over. You can just tell you face says, it all we look at this team in the one thing we noticed it. I think we talked about it last year throughout the course of the play offs that makes his team different than than past additions is adapt that they have it's not just about the top line. Well, I mean, you could clarify say they have more top lines than they've had before they just have a whole bunch of guys they roll through. Then you're like damn that guys on that line like they can get after they could score and even to the fourth line. They get guys they could do some damage and you start looking at this team and seeing the names and the and the the fact that they couldn't have been six guys with twenty plus goals at the end of the end of the year more playmakers than they've ever had a we've talked about Jones to it's gonna it'll come down to how he plays at the end and during the playoffs, but the drive no doubt. This is a team. They can get it done with with four lines that may not gonna completely roll them evenly. But they they just have more depth than more skill than they've ever had. Without a doubt. And that's and that's the key for that team. There's not a huge drop off in The Fourth Way, and certainly not on defensive. He's not a big drop off. And when you when you look at how Peter w all lanes. He usually does roll them pretty much. He likes to the team to get into a rhythm match lanes. He doesn't need him up very much. So that allows guys to develop the chemistry and consistency..
