"The modern athlete owned by some of your favorite athletes, including Willie McGinnis number 55 himself. Greg, before we get into the game and the film breakdown, just a couple of things outside of the game that I wanted to ask you about. First, we had the quick embrace in the postgame between Belichick and Brady. And I feel like the Belichick haters were lining up to kill him because all it was a two second hug, but then we found out that Brady and Belichick met for 15, 20 minutes in the Tampa Bay locker room area on disclosed room. And it seemed like it was a pretty good meeting. Just your thoughts on that meeting and why it happened when it happened. Yeah, Nick, I don't know if I said it on here last week or I don't know, I did a bunch of interviews last week. So I'm not sure where I said it, but basically I hit the I hit the double factor with the I thought that there would be a half hug and brace on the field and I did mention that I thought there would be a behind the scenes meeting possibly in the Buccaneers locker room. Now I didn't have any insight information on that. It's just normally the way things go. So that's what I expected. I didn't expect anything huge on the field, just, you know, good enough, you know? Like, you know, love you bro see you later. And the locker room thing, it's not a big deal to me. I've seen Bill do that before, whether she's met with coaches, assistant coaches, other players. I've seen him do it before. A handful of times. So that he did that is not unusual to me. I think it's good that they got that time together. By themselves and, you know, I assume it was, you know, there's really in the visiting locker room at Gillette, there's a is basically like one doorway that leads to the training room and where the coaches get dressed and stuff like that. So there's plenty of space back then there for them to have a little private conversation. I assume I bet it was held in the training room since it was it seemed like it was pretty late in the night where most of the guys were gone and on the buses and Brady had that he went straight from there to his press conference. So that things went down the way it does not surprise me at all. I think that's par for the course. It's good that it happened. And I think it gives everybody sort of a clean departure from here that everybody can move on. It gives them the closure. They finally had some person a person closure with what's happened over the past year plus. The second thing quickly, there is this tip for tat happening between Belichick and Seth wickersham. You talked about Seth last week, you are friends with Seth. You respect work. You trust in his work. Belichick on Greg hill yesterday said that he doesn't even think he's ever spoken to wickersham. Wickersham, quote, tweeted that tweet that was sent out and said, that's kind of strange..

"George Thorogood going to be rocking the U. S cellular connection stage tonight at 10 o'clock So you still have time to get here It is 8 37 here at the moment. So you have more than enough time to make it in to see George Thorogood right now on the main stage, Chris Stapleton and Sheryl Crow. They are out there. That's the American family Insurance amphitheater. Welcome back in Matt, Paulie hanging out with you Live and summer fest. It is Brewer's weekly here on Wtmj. We had a poll question up. The poll is now closed. I had to close a little too early. Sorry, but We got. We got a handful of votes that here 63 votes over the hour or so that it was open. I did the most exciting way to win a baseball game, and the four answers were a walk off Grand Slam. A walk off home run, robbed by an outfitter, three bases loaded strikeouts or a game ending play. When I went into it, I wanted you to, uh, fielding ones and two at the plate and end up being three in the field one at the plate with the Grand Slam. I think if I had to do it over again, I'd get rid of maybe the game ending trip play, and I would have replaced that with like an inside the park home run on a walk off, which could be more exciting potentially than a walk off Grand Slam. So if I ever do this poll question again will make that tweak. But for now, this is it. Greg Hill. What? I don't know if you did vote in the poll, but if you did what answer what have you gone with? So I did, And I kind of contemplated right? And I had this discussion with you off the air, three bases loaded strikeouts. We've seen that before. A few times this season, especially recently, So I'm surprised that one didn't get as many votes, but I picked The walk off home run robbed by an outfielder defense. That's my vote. All right. That's this is a big Lorenzo Cain moment where he brings one back. That's what you would have gone there and forgive me. If I'm getting this wrong. You could clarify this for me. Didn't Eduardo Escobar Rob a game winning home run for us when before he was traded to the Brewers. Do I have that correct? Oh, I don't know. Okay. I have, like very like I have a, um, memory of someone robbing a brewer. I can't remember who it is you out, Look it up, but Avi Garcia has had one this season. Not a It wasn't a game winning run. But it was more of a retired way Junior to save a game tying run. It was in the fifth inning, but give me home run robbery all day. Okay. I'm trying to think back to the games against the Diamondbacks this year. The only the only thing that really sticks out to me about the games against the Diamondbacks. Remember, they were on that long, long, long losing streak. And you knew that Something might and so no, I think I don't think you have that right, Greg, because they're only um Their only win was a 51 win, and that ended their 17 game losing skid. Yeah, I'm going to try to find it because there was certainly while I was there. I was like, Oh, it's it's over, and then they plucked it out of this guy. Okay? I don't know. I don't know what you're thinking of the top of your head. Um, I was a little bit so I'll give the results here of the pole. I was a little surprised that game ending Trump play came in last place easily last place with under 5% of the vote. I thought it would get a little bit more than that, because quite honestly, that would be the rarest of the rare of the All these are very rare events, but the game ending triple play. Triple plays are so rare in their own right. I mean, a normal season, maybe again 234 across major league baseball at the most. It seems like so I'm surprised game ending triple play easily. Was the was in last place that we had a two way tie for second or third, however, you want to look at it. The walk off home run being robbed by an outfitter and the three bases loaded strikeouts. And then, as people continued to just relive the Vogel back, pinch it walk off Grand Slam. It is the runaway winner. At close to 70% of the vote on the most exciting way to to win a baseball game. I thought this was going to be a little bit closer. Clearly I was wrong. If I would have gotten rid of game ending to play and put inside the park home run and walk off inside the Parker. Maybe that would have changed things up. Maybe that would have gone a few more votes. If I would have left the poll open for a little bit longer. Maybe that would have changed things up. There's a lot of things we could redo, but You're not supposed to regret things in life. I got it. 55. Yes, it was certified brewers killer Gregory Polanco, and it was Eduardo Escobar, who hit The long ball to right field and he robbed it in the ninth, sending the game into extra innings. Yes, Palanka was playing really deep because that thing was hit hard. And if he would not have been playing as deep that he would have never been able to get to it just because of the exit velocity, But he was playing way deep and he went and brought that one back. Yes, that was Gregory Polanco, That might be as highlight of the year It's been. It has not been a good season. For him offensively or defensively. He's been getting booed a lot by pirates fans. The 17 people who attend pirates home games have been booing Gregory Palanka, Let's go to the phones. 85561616 20 the accident, mortgage talk and text line. Steve is in West Dallas. Hey, Steve, you're on wtmj. Hey, how you guys doing? Good. Thank you. So I missed the end of this game. I had to work at five o'clock, and when I left was 5 to 1 and work as a front desk clerk and About 10 or 15. Minutes after I got there heard a bunch of screaming up and up and the upstairs I thought somebody got hurt, and it turned out turn W won the game, but it reminded me a lot of 1987 Easter Sunday game. That my daughter Crystal and I were at, um Remember, Rob, you're hitting hitting home runs. I think he tied it up. And then they'll swing hit one to win the game, and we're we're crystal Crystal was up on my shoulder. She was eight years old at the time. She's 42 now. Um, she was up on my shoulders so she can see where that happens to people who were standing on the seat. And when the swing hit the home run were jumping up and down on the seat. We cracked, We actually cracked the seats. Dr seat. But that was an excellent excellent Most excellent family had its awesome Christian look, that was pretty cool. Very good. Appreciate it, Steve. Thanks for calling. You know, you think about some of the famous walk offs? Obviously Easter Sunday 1987. That's a big one. I still think the greatest walk off in the history of the organization is the Ryan Braun Grand Slam in 2000 and eight that was in what the 10th inning and They needed that win to get into the postseason. That's that. That's one of the biggest hits in the history of the organization. I think that is the greatest walk off. You had Bill Hall against the Mets back in 2000 and six That was the mother's Day. Once every year. On Mother's Day, we get to relive that over and over there, there's a few. "Low rates disappear. That's C U N e t dot com Here is Number three. About four. Attend a couple quick ones for you. This one is a bigger topic, but I want to just Get it out there because it's something I'm going to spend some more time on on future shows. And we've seen over the last couple decades. This push West people flocking to Western states, Texas and California and New Mexico and other places. And I've said over and over again. I think its pursuit of you know, quieter weather, although that's been disproven by the crazy whether we've seen over the last few years, um, just warmer. Lot of conversation about better schools, lower taxes. I get all that stuff and that that's always going to be a driver for one's decision. Where to live, or where to raise a family that that's all good and I completely understand it. But the thing that's not getting enough attention on this is the fact that When you look at the water, the fresh water supplies Their dwindling rapidly. For whatever reason, the climate has warmed up, and I'm not going to get into a big Climate warming debate here. It is changing the dynamic in the in the Western states, the United States. Colorado River Lake Mead. Many of these resources that provide fresh water for significant parts of the West. Are drying up. And when you look at this story It doesn't get enough attention. Because above Having a decent and steady supply of power, and we've talked about Texas and how their inability to control that Having fresh water to drink. Bathe in to cook in or cook with. It's gonna be a big issue. Like need. 35% of what it was 20 years ago. I think the other one is Lake Powell. Where they're having now to tell people You've got to conserve. Car washes and watering ones. Lawn going to live in a desert? Probably not a good idea to have a green law. Especially when you're struggling to meet the needs of the people who Just want to drink that water or cook in that water. So it's a story to watch. And you know, everywhere from Texas to California. This is going to be a story that's going to require Significant cooperation in the interesting part on the politics side is, Will states be willing to cooperate? And here's the big ask As it happened. It hasn't happened yet. But at some point, you know Somebody's going to make that request. Hey, great legs states. All that fresh water you've got you've had record Levels of Lake water. Can we borrow some or buy some? You know what the answer should be? No. You choose to live where you live. If you over populated areas that can't sustain for a lot of different reasons. Whether that's power or water. Probably not the best decision you can make, and I'm not condemning those states. But you've got to start thinking about this stuff. And when you're making decisions on where to live factor that into the equation, and I think I'm correct on this. I think California lost population for the first time in a long time. There's a reason why that's happening. And some of it might be water and finally to wrap the four at 10. Got to talk about this. The ongoing saga of Jeopardy, the Jeopardy TV show. Mike Richards out now because of some podcast controversy. And now he'll be replaced, at least on a temporary basis by my, um Bialik star of, uh, What's that show she's on? I forget. Big banks. Yes, Big bang theory. Thanks for thanks, Greg. She's going to step, but she's a great choice. Scientist and actress. This is, um, that weird transition. Obviously, after the death of Alex Trebek was just a genius in that role, and you know I get I get this all the time. It's not about the host. You know what it is about the host. Yeah. The show is interesting. Yeah, The questions are interesting. We all play the guessing game. How many do you know if you hit 50%? I think you're doing pretty good. And some people are lower than that. Some people are hiring that, but it is about the host. I liked Alex Trebek. He was interesting. It's some. It's something that people are drawn to. It didn't matter. Why is my, uh, the same hole, son. All these other shows that we've seen for a long time Prices rights. Yeah. We love fortune. If the host didn't matter why. Why do we pay? Why do they pay millions of dollars? With those same host year after year after year. Show that I frankly can't stand. But a lot of people love something to think about. Who should be the host. Not Aaron Rodgers wasn't good enough. My M. Bialik. Hmm? I go for Ken Jennings. He's smart. He's got a sense of humor. And he knows it. He'd be a great host. All right, You got to give away those tickets. Four pack of tickets. The Racine Zoo. Let's go with Caller number nine to the accurate mortgage talking Texan. 85561616 20. Car number nine. "8 28 wtmj. We're talking food. We're talking hot dogs shaving years off your wives, Steve his feet. He's going to revisit that we did it earlier this morning on the show, I mean, That already I probably had conservatively 5000 hot dogs in my life. New study says a hot dog takes with 32. No, It's like 32 minutes. Yeah, it's like 32 minutes, whereas salmon nuts, vegetables add time to your life, so you must have balance it out with good stuff. Yeah, I eat a lot of vegetables, So I mean, that's good at peanut butter and jelly. Apparently on the good list. Yes. Get that. That's a popular thing with kids. Although I would think I'm wonder bread not so much. Even even my mom would let us put anything down our next pretty much. Within reason, Uh, said, no wonder, but it can't do that. It's not. Every day is different, but I eat bad things in Think eating bad things is okay if you also eat the good things. If you're just any bad things that's not good. That's my recipe for life. I wonder where the bratwurst figures in. How can speak knows remember a couple weeks ago, and I said I hadn't had a bratwurst in, like, five months. I've had like 10 of them in the last three weeks. I had the bison burrito at the state Fair is good. Okay, so I mean, I guess again, mix it up. So when it spends a little time fascinated by this things that shorten your life things that Make it longer. Exercise. Probably one of things that make it longer, right. And you do that. Yes, I do. "Radio. Let's face it, Uh, in terms of doing things unconventionally. The Pats have almost always been resistant to that. Yeah, they're veteran head coach feels very comfortable playing veterans and You know, for 20 years, you just had to wind up. Tom Brady was incredibly self motivated. He would set the tone in practice. He would command the huddle on game day, and Belichick could at least do everything else he needed to do without really worrying too much about the quarterback spot. This is very different you've got, you know, at least coming into the season. He's had a good camp, so it's kind of maybe changing the perception but coming into the summer A bit of a broken down Cam Newton and a little bit of an unknown in terms of you know Matt Jones, who certainly flashed in Alabama. But still, you know, not quite the the skill set of the portfolio or the The The excitement of a Trevor Lord to some of the other kids that got drafted early on, doesn't mean it can't be a star just means they're going through this in real time. They might also be considering Playing both guys. Yeah. Which to me is the exact opposite of the Patriot way before we dissect if we agree, or if it could actually happen. Let's hear from the coach. Here's Bill Belichick on platooning the most important position in sports. The specific questions like that are really, really hard answer. I mean, here's what I always say. Always say I'm going to do, especially the team. I'm gonna do whatever I can to help the team went. So if that's playing a guard in the backfield, and we'll play guard in the backfield. If it's you know, would intend defensive backs on the field. That's what it is, and we put 10 defensive backs on the field. So I mean, I'm not going to rule out anything. If I think it's somewhat elbows wind, um I would consider it now. He's got to be tough interviewing every week when you're trying to get some answers that was on w E I. The Greg Hill Show was that actually levity. Was he actually, like trying to make a joke? He was giving us a ridiculous example to illuminate his ultimate point, which is he will do what's best for them. Didn't it sound like he was saying that with a smile? Oh, yeah, That's his way of dodging the answer, but at least but guess throwing them a bone saying anything's on the table. Think that's kind of the first time I ever heard him speak like that with a smile on his face. I mean, think about this. If he now I don't know how long the spot was. But he does a weekly on W E E. I would imagine Brady's done did that for years and can And did it a year ago. He's doing a weekly on w e. I mean, he's not going on there for two minutes. He's going on there. I would imagine 13 14 15 minutes. He probably had on top of the hour 26 minutes, 26 minutes, So it's two segments or they just have one. Or maybe it's running. It's local. Okay, whatever it is, they can blow through the break where they can. They can mix two segments together. There's a lot of ways to sell that package that locally. What 26 minutes so He's got to give you something, and, you know, I'm sure he's got an affinity somewhat for the people for. I don't know if it's just Greg or whomever else you know is on there, but he's not going on with people He doesn't trust. He's not going to have people who doesn't like so he's probably gonna give them a little bit more than a bunch of anonymous, faceless voices on zoom or in, you know these press conferences where he doesn't feel compelled to give him a damn thing. The question. Forget about how he answered the question. Do you think we could actually see a split? Quarterback situation for the Pats this year. Well, first of all, you got to give credit to Josh McDaniels because both of these guys are playing like they should be starters. You know what I mean? So it's that's that's a luxury that you just don't have. You know these other quarterbacks situations that we've detailed whether it's the Bears. There's you know, some growing pains are going to happen with Justin Fields. Whether it's by the way, how about the hit The fields took my face right on the right at the right of the chin. And so watching his name on? I think it was on Instagram. It's me. It was like it was like, and Justin Fields is dead because he just got drilled, like untouched, drilled unabated as this. Yeah, exactly right right under the chin is right, So, but that's not like a Ideal situation of Justin Fields starts, but Andy Dawn it's not ideal. Same thing with Denver because Teddy Bridgewater maybe is not going to elevate you as much He's going to be safe. But drew lock is going to be a problem solved. I mean, it could be some problems because of turnovers signals the Saints we'll see tonight. In New England. No matter who you go with. It seems like you're gonna be okay, because Cam Newton is playing as good at football as we've seen in four or five years like I mean, that's saying a lot. He's he looks really good in the preseason now granted the preseason against basic coverages and everything else and lots of non starters, But he just He looks good. He looks like he's he's The part and then you throw in Mac Jones, who picked it up, like like like it was his job to study it for, you know, a midterm exam or something, but he's got it all down. Pat gets rid of the ball quickly. He looks smart makes good decisions. So they have the luxury. Now the answer your question. Do I see them taking turns? No, not at all. Not unless Cam Newton is Some kind of runner which we know he doesn't want to be. Because Mac Jones has to be the quarterback. You know what I mean? Like? Yeah, Knock it out. They're gonna match Flex that run. Exactly. So running the RP. Oh, yeah, He's gonna He's gonna throw the ball. I think it's just a disservice to continuity. To do that, because all it's going to take is a couple of bad. Like inter iterations of that before the team starts saying, What the hell are we doing? Or before? Either one or both loses real momentum that they had over the summer. That's exactly what I tend to agree with you. I don't think it's going to happen. I think if there were More not answers this summer. Maybe you kind of throw things in the blender and say, All right, you know, we got to do what we gotta do. The only thing that gives me pause here, let's face it. I know the Cam doesn't want to run at that much by the way the other night or less game. Which would have been last Thursday. I think it was he had four completions of 20 plus yards and more. I mean, so you to Your point is throwing the ball down the field much. Maybe short happened. Guys. Last year was ugly. Um and Cam probably doesn't want to lower the pads and get knocked around and take a beating. But Let's face it. It's a Calvin's world out there on Sundays, and the Patriots don't have a long term investment in Cam Newton. So while Cam might not want to run and get battered and bruised up, the Pats might be saying stuff. If we got to get first downs, and you can do this is what we're gonna do, but it's almost like they don't need them in the one really the big positive from the Patriots. This preseason has been their run game. Right there. Somebody Michelle and Damien Harris and James White is there and the kids. They just drafted the fourth round RA Monday. Stevenson. They're all bawling. I mean, they ran for, I think close to 200 yards and the preseason Now it's just a preseason game and get four rushing touchdowns or whatever it may be, um and last year despite being back of the league and total yards They were top five and rushing offense. So when you run the ball that well, it gives you options at quarterback. You don't need the world beater at quarterback when you when you're running the ball, and this isn't traditional.

"To Las Vegas Thursday night, Little weekend getaway. Okay. It's like 110 every day, but it will be at the pool so Well, that's I mean, sure, so you can get in the water and whatever I will bring some good Vegas stories back with me for Monday's. I can't wait. No. If I don't make it could probably be doing the show. It's got worse or whatever. I'll try to get back. You know what? Our golf outing that we had the TMJ Classic on Tuesday. I got a chance to kind of, uh, talk to Scotty. And here's the funny guy. He's a funny funny guy Wtmj nights, his producers sitting just to my left Greg Hill. Sitting in for Jordan today was God knows where, Um All right, So I mentioned this earlier. Yes, my friend. Christmas Snyder. He's been on the show. Have you ever met Christian? I've never met him. But we've spoken. Yes, on the show. Okay. Author columnist. His book 1916. The blog is available on Amazon. If you're interested, humorous look at history and the irreverent way that he looks at a lot of things. Smart about movies. Um, culture politics, Obviously, from a conservative bent, All right, so he he found a clip from a 1958 movie. Starring Steve McQueen, who I'm a big fan of sure, but a couple of things one. This is the time when Steve McQueen if you listen to the clip, not a very good actor at that point in 1958 you go back. A lot of them are. Oh, my God, Charlton Heston and Ben Hur. Yes. Come on, Ben Hur. I love that movie. Well, okay, now I just made fun of it. The chariot scene makes me laugh because I thought it was brilliant in that. Now, Steve, but Steve McQueen in this movie, the Blob was not good. You'll hear it. We're going to talk about that. And then then also how these little snippets. I played for you a little piece earlier from Brokeback Mountain. How that plays into our current conversation. I'm gonna have some fun with that as well because there's a picture going around now of the Assembly speaker Robin Voss on the private plane with Donald Trump. I'm playing a little caption that photo game on Twitter right now, but you can also join me if you're not on social media on our accurate mortgage talking text line, captured the photo to two men on a private plane smiling you, you pick the caption and the best best one will get on the air. All right, so here's a little bits. The 1958 movie the Blob. Listen to the words Don't ignore the bad acting, Listen to the words and then we'll discuss, okay..

Well, thank you for acknowledging that smell that that seems like a no brainer does that But I'm not going to run I want I want to help Republicans. Conservatives fixed there. Their their ailments. I think that there are so many other things that are out there that need to be addressed, then just keep hammering away at this. It's like you know the horses glue at this point. Did you say that causes that the horse races on Saturday? They don't do that the horses anymore. Do they know it's just a figure of speech, but they used to at some point in our history, right? I think so. They had to come from somewhere. They probably use the hubs and stuff for it from the to 60. I really miss when the Republicans were the adults. Yeah, I did, too. It's uh, I just think it this whole thing is just a colossal waste of time, and it's just so much better. If you focus on what needs to be focused on. It's a done deal. It's a done deal. "Dot HTM This is not Monday morning Quarterback on WTMJ. This was perfectly for myself in pretty good position, but at the end of the day, I know it's a numbers game. And I could play like absolute crap. And they need me And I'm gonna 53 before I can play really well, and they don't need minimum practice spot. So I kind of ditched that might settle a few years ago, and it will. We'll see what happens. But I'm excited with how I played and And obviously, there's still more room. The girl. We should have had Kurt Benkert say Happy birthday. How about this? We're gonna do something different because it's a preseason game. We all We all will get to the serious stuff once the regular season started. Brian de Carol Kane Yours truly Dorothy Meyer 99 years old biggest fan of the show. That's fantastic that cool when when this kind of came down the pike and you were sharing it with me. I was just like God Bless her, You know, honest to God. She loves your show. That's fantastic. She's 99. You know, Should we be so lucky? Right? Lincoln High School graduate, three sons. Seven grandchildren. 10 great grandchildren worked at the Wh Brady Company. A lot of people work there. She loves watching and listening to all the books. Brewers Packers games, Um She's something that hangs is hanging in there. And that's that's cool. 99 years old today. Happy Birthday, Dorothy? Yes. Happy birthday. Happy happy I'd sing. But that is absolutely no present for you, Brian. Here's a good voice. You Steve, Steve's a good singer. Do you have a nice voice, Do you? I'm not ashamed. Voice I've been told. I have a good radio voice. You have a great radio voice. Probably not going to be singing into this might be fun anytime soon. I used to sing to my kids until they finally said to me by Johnson. Mom, please. She goes, Mom, Please don't. So I was like, Okay, I guess I'm not singing my wife. Kathy has does not have a good voice. She tries this thing, but it's just what it sounds okay in my head. Well, everybody has that. You know, everybody thinks they can sing like Debra wants the auditions for American Idol. It's like they all think they can sing right were so talented. They get up just like whoever told you you could sing. And why would you go on TV and do that What you just did? I was never inquirer. I knew my limitations. I just played the saxophone and shut up. I just can't see you as a sax player. I just can't see. It was a good one. Really? Uh huh. Tenor and alto. Is that the big one? The big sad That's the base. No, I did. Tenor and alto Brian, you ever play an instrument? I played strings in middle school. I did a little violent and then I did shallow. Never did the base, though, Because if you tip the cello on the side, cello, you've got those. Do you ever seen those angry, jealous or whatever They're called? This broke. Greg. How do you ever see those guys that the two cello players That are that are like they break their bows. There goes, they do like rock music. There, you got to mix it up. Everything's changing. Carol. The world is changing. It's not status quo anymore. All right, let's get back to the Packers. By the way, Happy birthday, Dorothy mired and thank you for being They asked her what her favorite show was, she said My show. Well, okay. When somebody says that they get an extra mention on the show, Does that make you a little calmer this morning? I'm not going to be calm at any point during today's show. It's a Monday all my weekend frustration comes out on Monday. Now. Typically, it's more in a humorous fashion. I'm not that good. A mood this morning. How did I get so lucky? Brian? Got to hold the short strong. Yeah, You should have asked for Tuesday or Wednesday. By Friday. I'm in a great move up Friday. It's almost the weekend. I got Monday's All right. What else should we know about this game on Saturday? Oh, man, the running back Hill. Yeah. Thailand Hills. Probably good. Yeah. And you know throughout practices over over the first couple of weeks, a camp Steve Um, this was one of those situations where the Packers had some injuries. Erin Jones missed some time with some hamstrings and AJ Dylan's been healthy. But Cailan Hill has been the guy that's been getting some of those reps in place of Erin Jones. When he has been able to go. He's played really well. He's proven himself. He's caught some balls out in the backfield. He's going to touch down in each of the preseason games now, so I think he's stating his case to be that third running back behind the Big two of Erin Jones and a J Dillan and the Packers need that. I mean, we obviously saw that in years past, they'll use a bunch of those guys. Spot. So Yeah, he's been impressive for sure. What are some areas of concern for you Special teams. Okay, it got to tackle its continued big time returns, its continued issues and coverage, And this isn't just this preseason thing This is dating back to last year. I feel like every year when we talk about the bugaboo for the Green Bay Packers. The strong point is Mason Crosby, right. He's always been terrific in terms of field goal, kicking butt coverage on punts and kicks. Kickoffs has been a horrific For years now, and JK Scott has been on and off at punting. So when I think about weaknesses of the football team, it's that and then it's piecing together the offensive line until you can get healthy because you look at David Box er. He's still suffering from that knee injury that he suffered on New Year's Eve last year, So he's not going to be back for week. One. Probably not anyway. And you're dealing with a rookie center and Josh Meyers, and there's just going to be some growth there when you're a rookie trying to adjust to the NFL, So when I think about things that I'm concerned about come week one, it's special teams coverage. And then it's Kim. We get five offensive lineman that can mess soon enough to get by and protect Aaron Rodgers in the first week, two weeks, three weeks of the season. Do we know how long it's going to be before David Bach carry comes back? I think they're outstanding Left tackle. Yeah. I mean, you think about a C L is right. So he tore it on New Year's Eve. That's generally speaking. 10 to 12 month injury and I'm not a doctor. But let's say conservatively, let's let's expedite and say he can get back in nine. That's early September, which is when the season starts. Do you want to rush him back for that first month of the season? Or would you rather have him healthy for the Super Bowl? Push that we know is coming After everybody stays healthy for this team, I would choose the latter. I think they want to stay cautious. So maybe October optimistically, and that means you have to get through a month without it. Do you think that not having him at the important position of left tackle could alter the Packers game planning when it comes to what they do on offense? Sure. Yeah, I think so. I think it's a lot of quick hitter passes because you don't want Aaron Rodgers, you know, running for his life back there for the first month of the season, knowing that it's not a sure fire that is blind side is going to be protected. So I think the Packers always you do a good job of getting the ball out. Quick and Matt LaFleur scheme has a lot to do with that. It's not a lot of seven step drops. Let me hang back here for three seconds and let's let somebody get 60 yards downfield. But I do think you'll see a more conscious effort in the run game and maybe some quick passes early Monday morning quarterback here on six point WTMJ, Steve Carrell and Brian Greg Hill producing this morning, Jordan is off. Don't go anywhere. The Monday morning quarterback returns right after this.

And that's probably film sorry hello portability seizes crew walk into the. She's i've always what's up. It's going fine i've always wondered endo some of the blowback on somebody's conversation. Conversations your jokes over the years we had you joking or maybe it wasn't you People always judge. That's true you can reveal the shoots button ready to that's true. I gotta cut your phone. Your phone stinks. I understand the question. How do i handle these situations to some Well i mean those happen to be the truth right. I don't think the pregnant thing is. I don't think. I said that in the air before he can't avoid the truth now known. And can't i would say like you get your question. It's easier when you do with people who you know are able to understand that it's like the opposite of Big rick right. Mother knows that it's not you know. Individual people understand more the longer. You do it right now. It's been ten years of you saying feel like correct. Yes yes i mean. The reality is like for example is a great friend of mine. He's been a great friend of mine for ever over ten years. And i think i was the first person he called outside his immediate family. I remember i was walking out of the station. We were doing a john jerry It was turned out. It was just deuce jerry right in that you know you finish and meet with every probably seven o'clock. I remember exactly i. Was you know when you walked out of the front there other little Thing you walked right to the entrance for such a horrible bill in the women's blowing it was it was a warm day and he called me a dui last night. And i was like. Oh god you're fucked. Say that those like they're gonna you know but they didn't find it. Was you know he made a mistake. And obviously we joke around but like he is very very rarely driven while drunk since. Then what very what other places have fired him for that though because it's not only one in down job at all but like it's a weird business you know you just don't know yeah in houston also being on a show. It's like he's we built them up as phone on the in built up his drunk ruining his reputation. No no but it was up. I was up. When he did something he would upset. But you know after while you're like why am i gonna do. I don't think you would do it more like we're not gonna we hate each other now. So what's the difference. Merloni was making fun of greg hill. Lot at the start and greg hill wind can play the management now on their show. Merloni always you really like once a week. Yeah think so. Like they're like. You can't make fun of greg hill. Like she doesn't want to make fun of so it's like well that's the way it works. Which is odd. Because even if you're sensitive like i don't like getting made fun of bullying. It's good for the show. Greg could respond in the morning yet to me like when i made fun of people at the station. They got upset about it to me. That was better away from rather than saying you can't make fun of people aggressing better content. Yeah but it's like you said then you just hate the guy the me the way right. I don who knows but yeah but that's a good sport about it's weird. Never see like dale just never saw the content or he didn't ignored it. Whatever it was age did not want but it's also like with dale. It's not as skill either responding to you and be like oh really kirk. It's not even that it's just like being able to say. Oh it's just not sure. He's not built like that. Yeah bio anyway. We'll take a few more busy. Hey what's up. I'm move movie question for you. Okay what are your your all your top. Three all time favorite movie performances. Just not not greatest or anything right or favorite talk to watch and rewatch. That's a real good movie question your answer. My three favorite movie performances isn't movies ever. I mean who the hell knows. I. it's like Thanks for i. Don't know sean kearney untouchables. Gene hackman unforgiven Three favourite mets like we. I don't know jackson and pulp. fiction would be. I mean that's me bits like you know but we've seen it so many times that's the problem it's like okay. It's like should i quote all the time up there like i mean. I guess that's a great performance. You know i like travolta better in it. But yeah he's good too or just for me guy my agency travolta in that movie was so wild. You're just like this. I can't fucking believe this is happening. And he's great it. Yes won the oscar. One movie comeback. True although i get short. He's a good movie. Yeah he's good in that you know he's not too bad. What is after that. It just face off is not bad. What's the fun action. I don't pay but it's fine and fun movie john. Hey john woo civil actions a good movie. I mean i haven't seen in that twenty years then. Red line is good in that and then that was just like he's just like you remembered why it's like mcconnell like you makes a comeback. They're like oh that's right. He went away because he does shit movie hara and they're like oh you want them all back and then oh that's right. He's a fucking moron. I'd never deniro was paying alimony but like a guys that can pick any role. I don't know how they don't have someone in their ear like this is it's gonna be hard for travolta. The who was literally is crew was dead for like ten years. Yeah twelve years and then he started. It's just getting offered twenty million like crazy. It's got to be hard to say. No she's just past talking broken arrow to did you see that was the was he the general's daughter. I mean he did swordfish. Terrible terrible terrible terrible terrible. But yet like i root for him. "Com, But now let's get to the Brady it today. So when you brought that up earlier, what Tom Brady accomplish how do you think what he did this year now affect other quarterbacks and seeing what he didn't trying to mimic it? I think it's even bigger than football at this point, because we're seeing Tom Brady at age 43 LeBron James at age 35. I believe at the time because he turned 36. I believe December 30th or so it's weird that I know these things. But we see guys sort of change teams and instantly find away based on their experience, their plethora of experience, you know, building and creating and winning championships. And so I feel like now as we're watching that happen. You're going to see a lot of big moves. What happened after LeBron James and that got a D wanted championship. Guess what? James Harden. Sort of got that LeBron James Ich and was, like, all right, let me not waste my You know, last you're next few years in the association, and now we have a big three in Brooklyn. And now when, when it comes to the NFL and watching in Super Bowl 55 Tom Brady win. He mean as much as he won m v P Super Bowl M v P. We talked about how important the defense was. We talked about how important the staff was. And how that was a such a cue for their success. And so I think everyone around the league is taking notes and like, Hey, we get the right pieces around me and I provide some kind of value and I might be a little bit younger. We could make a run at a title, too. And so I feel like now that's the mindset that a lot of players are are having especially going into this crazy quarterback off season is and I think it's important to note. The difference is also just Tom Brady walked into the situation different time in his career. Contractually, he was at a point where he could go and sign with Tampa. He could take a little bit. As in that situation is gonna be a lot different than Shawn Watson era Rogers and now Russell Wilson. Even speaking out about this, It might not buy you your way out at this point, Necessarily. We'll wait and see on that. But it could buy you a little more influence. We've already got cautionary tales like Carson Wentz, where you might overplay your hand. And if that production dips, it's crazy how fast the world can turn in that spot, But Again. When you see it happen Now it's understandable. NFL players have done this for a long time looking longingly at the MBA. Now they got inspiration inside their own sport, and that inspiration and Tom Brady has gotten a lot of people in their feelings. And we have enjoyed now basking in the afterglow of the Super Bowl through the eyes of Patriots fans because they have been They've been something W EI and Greg Hill show have been letting Boston fans come on here and purge a lot of emotions. And so we want to give you just another example of what Boston is dealing with and how they're processing Tom Brady's seventh Lombardi Trophy, this time in a different uniform. Hello, Al. Hey, What's up, Greg? What's going on, man? L subs courtesy of Curtis buddy. Any day. You guys ready? I'll bring the luncheon. Don't problem. Well, what are you waiting for? I mean, tomorrow. There's no bad day. When it comes to Morrow. You call it You guys hang up here that I have talked anyway, okay? When he is could it have been called the station 30 years, actually, but between the last 15 20, I'm gonna repeat what happened. Train over and over again. Field Village check is about to be exposed as the most overrated sports. Listen, ofall time lords, his coach, and I said it before the season even started. I never thought he'd be doubling up Curtis the coach without this kid, But it's not only did he try to trade him six years ago, right? Not only distraction, he treats him like a red headed step child. I don't know who he thinks he is. How you don't take this kid on these under your wing. It's freedom like a son. Instead, he tries to trade up to San friend He doesn't want to pay. It doesn't want to give you an extra year. This Stella play off Tom Brady over the last 20 years has made this guy look like something He ain't even close toe. Brady is a coach on the field. He's a leader. He checks out of place close his old plays out audibles every other place. He's an idiot survived out the awards show. Begin it all night went like checked out of the play. Chick calls on the plane looked at that he looks at the defense. He's amazing and well, I never thought I'd see corners and have a chance that this guy would be dumb enough. Plan coach Without him. It's absolutely mind boggling and what he did to this team. Brady should have been in the quest for the last 10 years of having to deal with his personality and his non people skills, not no. One and they had to get between and Brady never never should have been treated that way. It's an absolute disgrace. I am blown away. Tom Brady has really broken the party here today. I like into this. This is Boston's version of the popular future mean where they're clearly trying to appeal with an ex. They see doing much better and happier elsewhere. Are you going to give us a future take like the future of human real life? Are you gonna give us one of those? Oh, so for anyone.

"So junior, we have AH, winner finally coming out of the NFL season congrats the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but we know it's way more than that, because a big narrative going into the season was Who was more responsible for the Patriots success. Tom Brady or Bill ballot check. Now I feel like we might have been inching towards an answer, especially after what went down on Sunday and Max Kellerman are our own ESPN on ESPN. First take, I believe is on Monday, he joined and he basically said on first take Talking about Tom Brady seven Super Bowl win How this overall effects Bill Belichick's legacy. It raises questions about Belichick. It just does. I know that Grady left the cupboard bare and made that argument. I always thought it was more Belichick. I was sure it was more Belgian. But now I have to admit I have to wonder. Clearly, I wasn't giving Brady enough credit, but he just won the Super Bowl in year one. Now. Where? The bucks loaded? Yep, sure work everywhere. You look they were loaded. Okay? Did he leave the cover bare for? Belichick was coaching under very difficult circumstances and still did a nice job. Seven and nine. Yes, he did. We don't have 1000 seasons to play out to sea run perfect experiments to see who was who. This is pretty much as good as you could ask for Brady's on a new team Bellatrix coaching without him. And by the way, if anything, the coach had the advantage. When the coach is older, he should still be good. Brady's 43. So the answer does this affect politics? Legacy legacy? The answer is, yes. He has to now win without Brady. He can't just all that's a good coaching job. He went eight Nate this season. Nope. He's got to make deep playoff runs. He should win a ring without Brady before all is said and done or his legacy. The great debate. Is it more balletic or Brady shockingly, to me will be won by those who said no, no, no, it was more Brady. Yes, this is a big deal. Tangled junior here on ESPN Radio. Michael Junior engineer. Okay, we have We have arrived here now. And today. We're Max Kellerman all the time here on ESPN Radio as well. And this is one of those instances where I understand, We're always going to have the Brady Bella check conversation. It's just unavoidable. We got Danny Amendola adding fuel to that fire this week, but to say And argue that it was more one. The other is one thing, but to say were affecting legacies right now. I don't know why. We always seem to have to go a bridge too far on some of these when Bill Belichick is going to leave football as the greatest coach that we have ever seen as someone who has been not only a coach, but the architect of these team, and so many ways, has made diligent moves around. Tom Brady has helped them and benefited from Tom's greatness. But also been able to put different parts and different generations with different coordinators. In a way that really on Lee Nick saved in Alabama can really stare Ida I with his peers, regardless of the level of competition, So I understand where this is coming from today, but I feel like it's some point we gotta put up stop signs. Yeah, I think it was a big deal. Obviously the first year that they part and so obviously you would think that Bill Belichick like, Yeah, it's on you. But what Tom Brady was able to do was to, you know, sort of curate his own version of success in a way that most people don't get the opportunity. As coaches like you have to rebuild from the ground up. You have a lot of more responsibilities, including the G. M rolled that he has to do as well. And so, yeah, I feel like I can't good or great. Be great enough. Both of these guys are great, and I feel like that's good enough for all of us. Well, I know Cliff would dispute that around here again. Demands takes from us in any given past. So Cliff was what Max brought to the table on this a little more off What you've been looking for from us later. That was a very good thing he took in a painting. He took a stance. He was firm with it, he said Bella check needs to redeem himself. Um, I may not believe in to take, but there's a tape right? That is true and Bella check needing redeem himself again. We heard it earlier from callers on W. EI. The Greg Hill show has been inundated with angry Bostonians who look at the situation now longingly from afar. Let's get back into the well on this one. This is Caller Bill enjoying Tom Brady's win on W E. I This is Bill. Oh, Bill. Morning. What's up, Phil? I feel fantastic Curtis, but I'm in. Then you must feel like you tried puke it out the window. But the window was up for a game. I hated both teams visible light. You What influence from Quincy? A lot of those other folks. I am just so a static. I feel like I'm on cloud nine because of all the people that drove that guy out of this town. The guy would have stayed here if they gave him the extension. He wasn't looking for moment. You're telling me he stopped worth 50% of Patrick the homes? Of course he is. Touch Mom's 50 year they were insulting him. They were slipping in the bird. Anyway, Let's go celebrate Curtis. Flipping in the burgeoning is everyone in Boston looking and clearly when we talk about who the kids are going within the divorce, they have walked out of the building, and they're going to Papa Tom's house. That is so funny, but at least they can live vicariously through Tom because he still is. There's at least you know, for the moment in their spirit. I It's It's amazing to think about Jenny what we saw over the weekend with newly Hall of Fame announced Peyton Manning, showing up to a game in gym Mercedes plane but causing drama wearing the Broncos colors on his suit I can on Lee Imagine today in a world somewhere 2050 when Tom Brady retires and is eligible for the hall when he shows up with Tampa Bay, pewter and red When he is inducted into the Hall of Fame. I wanna watch the world burn on this one. You love chaos. My goodness I do. I can't help myself sometimes now coming up next. I want to get into what? We've talked about a little more because if we're going to talk food takes there's only one person we need to hear from. We asked action and at my goal of junior What did you discover? What happened? I think they really started, you know, one of the things that he started as an owner with that team wage at my rookie year was he put into guys contracts into our contracts that we had to do ten appearances a year, you'll unpaid appearances and off and you you know now I think there are guys that probably didn't get all Tim. But but it was just there was that emphasis on really getting back into the community and and not being out and and I think as a young player forced to do that you kind of learn you didn't really know why you were doing it at the beginning because you just you were new, you know, you're a rookie to every thing and but then after you got to go got going to a couple of appearances and you realize that wow, the impact that you have as a pro football player and what it means to wage. You know the fans and the people that see you you realize that that making these appearances really had had an effect in a lot of people's lives in different ways that requirement that was made early in my career really made me into you know, someone that really enjoys doing that a lot of times you I think the whole thing is that you end up getting more from it than what you actually give to it. And I think that's the the important takeaway from from doing things, you know from giving back to the community is that you said you had a really getting more from it and and the long run following a little my good friends as this guy Greg Hill. He's on he's got the Hillman Morning Show now, it's on we back then it was on WAAF and I would call in the show sometimes and and just say ask him what was going on. And this one time this one morning. I was calling they were promoting this month. Already hockey game up at Lowell at the Tsongas Arena and it was I think it was the benefit. Maybe it was the benefit like the Worcester Firefighters cuz back, you know, 99a had that really bad fire in Worcester that he was always a big supporter of of that of those families and everything and His Radio partner on there was this guy Lyndon Byers who was used to play for the Bruins and he goes goes a Mac. So you you ought to play with us and I said and I was just joking around I said I said, yeah, I could play I played I didn't Greg goes. Well Max I happen to know that you have never put on skates in your life, which is which was true. And I and I said I said, yeah, I'm an athlete. I mean I can do you know, that's no big deal and it goes there like so you are you kidding. They like locked me down right there and they said so are you committing to play in this game? I'm like God you give me some skates, you know, let me go out, you know, I'll learn how to do it before I pick I think it was like a couple of weeks away. No turning back after that day. There was no turning back max. So I went out and played that game and I mean I could barely I think I skated actually end up skating twice before I went to that game went and played this game and then Greg from c n be playing this game and it was you know, it.

"I was talking with him and kind of getting to know him a little bit and I was like, I was like man, I used to see you in our locker room all the time. Like well, what do you actually do? He was like, well, you know uniform inspector, I think make sure guys are wearing her uniform the right way. I'm like like what he goes. Well, you know what makes you guys are dealed stuck in New Jersey and I pulled their socks up their pants are supposed to be below the knee the where the right brand of shoes. I said I said, where do you go for that? And you know at that point an old Foxboro stage there wasn't really a lot of places for him to Rome. So he was always he was kind of always hang out in the locker room, but he says not I go on I go anywhere I want I said lot of times during the game. I'm just following down markers in because I can go in the locker room I go wherever you know, and I'm like I was like they pay you for that. He was like, yeah. Yeah pretty good too. And I was like, he starts complaining about you know happen to like people with going to the games and dealing with the traffic and all that stuff and I just thought about that point I said listen man anytime you want to get rid of that gig I'm your guy and then it became a running 10 year joke of me every year I'd be like, hey Bowman you ready? You know, let me give you that job and he like the checks are still casted so until about five years ago, and then they the league emailed him and said we want to guys that every stadium and so they asked him for some names of some other alumni and and he said, you know, he's like he goes I'm just going to give him your name. We're going to go from there and sure enough. So so up until this year him and I did it together and he would do the home team and I would do the awaiting and so, you know, it was wage. The best I tell people is the best part time job ever that actually sounds like a really interesting. I guess you would call it part-time side job and you still get to be involved with the NFL. I would have never even known about that. Unless you said that you were involved with NFL uniform inspecting. So I think that's super cool. It's really great that you are still actively involved in the football World whether you're inspecting uniforms or calling in to your friends radio shows and like you Sports gigs or doing stuff with Nelson here and there let's talk a little bit about charity. So you guys that are now listening know that the boss gave all about charity giving back and how our Sports entertainers give back to their communities whether it be their local ones where they grew up or the ones that they played for so for you I want to talk all about Greg Hill a little bit about skating with the Bruins alumni team and some other ways that you give back. I know that you're involved with football camps and different types of fundraisers and whatnot with mr. Krabs..

"But again, they put together the resume. Since that game has been undeniable, mean Aaron has been spectacular. The back the Packers offense unbelievably good. The offensive line even without David Bachtiar e best in league So I think And you know, they didn't make the adjustments that they have with the offensive line back in week six. I believe that kicked Rick Wagoner out the left tackle on that went poorly granted. At that point, they were already down 28 to 10. When? When Bachtiar he got hurt. I think they're equipped to make the adjustments. But that doesn't mean that they're just gonna make the adjustments and then Oh, now they're going to win 38 to 10. This is a talented Buccaneers team that you can't overlook earlier in the segment called Gave Wayne was all part of a stall technique. I was trying to find the answers and updated results of our poll question. Really all it was up on 6 20 wtmj on Twitter. Champions Countdown Pull number one. How do you feel about Sunday's game against the Buccaneers? 70% bags packed for Super Bowl 55 29.7% say can't shake the week six loss. And that is 158 votes that Aaron so maybe maybe just maybe we have chipped away at our listeners a little bit. My bag is packed by the end of the show 20 minutes from now. I hope you will consider packing a bag when you go home, literal figurative. Whatever it may be, all right, coming out, running out running out the segment here. It's time to kick it over to Greg Hill Last week we played a very exciting game. It was called the three word game this week. We're going to play a very exciting game called the Three more word game..

"And gave myself back with you. Its target Tampa Championship countdown with you for another half hour or so Greg Hill producing the program. We like creating poll questions whether they make sense or not. Right. Can he add one to the 6 20 wtmj Twitter feeds are they with Late season veteran signing will have the most significant impact for the Packers. The remainder of the playoffs. Tavon Austin Snacks Harrison, Jared Bell, dear or Tre, Mon Williams. Four choices. Well, we really have four options thrown up on Twitter will get people's reaction. We're trying to gauge The reaction of our listeners to What has happened throughout this season for the Packers, Wayne so gave Gus neighbors Hello. You stopped laughing in there. Wayne may or may not have called gave Gus on the radio broadcast network a week ago. Can't prove it. We cannot prove it. Anyways, Uh, Gabe, I sensed a little bit of, uh, week six game. It's It's still kinda hanging over my head as I strolled into the studio, a very confident man with a packed duffel bag ready to go to Tampa. I think I have too much in the department of warm clothing, however, but I could manage that. Have we chipped away a little bit at you? Ah, little bit and I think at the end of the day, I'm still going to pick the Packers to win. Just don't feel super confident about it like I felt confident about them, beating the Rams this week. Not as confident as I would Had the Saints come to town, and I think we saw why. Because Drew Brees just the Buccaneers defense last week. They were just able to sit right. They knew Breeze was gonna take the top off of their their defense. And that's something that Rogers Is going to be able to challenge them to do I think the Packers offensive line is vastly improved from week six. I don't think that the Buccaneers are going to be able to get the pressure that they did that being something they're probably going to get more pressure. I think then. Rammstein. Aaron was only once last week. If they're able to do that, against the speed off Tampa Bay. It's just a tougher matchup. Not to say I don't think they can win. It's just a tougher matchup in 38 to 10 is a tough one to shake off like, I just don't understand how they could just pretend Oh yeah, week six. Practically 2014, who cares? Didn't really happen. Doesn't really matter. I know. I think it's still matters. I think there's still some matchup things that need to be addressed. My guess is that map before also addressed him. The other thing that I've got in the back of my mind. After they played the Buccaneers. The Packer said. Yeah. Or we could practice wasn't that great? Which wouldn't be concerning? You're not gonna practice great for 17 weeks in an NFL season, you'll have some bad weeks of practice. It happens. That's also what they said last year after the NFC Championship game that even though they were playing in NFC Championship game, the Super Bowl was on the line after the game. Yes, we could practice Who's missing juice something was missing. No. We don't know if that was the case this this past week of practice, that's not something they would talk about until after the game. Should they happen to lose. It's not like somebody stands there on Saturday going, hoo boy. I hope things go well tomorrow. We didn't practice well all week. It's not something you're going to bring up before that, but it's just It's something that's back there. It's something that's happened, and it's something that again. If they go out, they play well that practice well all week. Then you forget about it. But there have been times under the mat LeFlore regime as good as it's been That they have not prepared well before big time matchups. Here's why, I don't think that's a smudge of an issue this year as it was last year. Last year. The first time Matt Leflore, the Packers went out to face Kyle Shanahan and the 40 Niners. What happened? They have clobbered. So all the discussion leading up to that game was a magic that you did go against your brother. Hey, how fun Kyle Shanahan. This is a great time. You guys are good friends. We'll have breakfast together. Where will you stay? Do you state your brother's house. And that is gonna find you know, you're really a lot of respect for those guys have learned a lot. They worked together and they met it. You know the 50 yard line before the game there shaking hands, you know, hugs all around. You know what happened after Matt Lafleur walked away from his brother and Kyle Shanahan. Matt had a smile on his face, and that is gonna be fun, and Kyle and Matt Lafleur's brother said, We're gonna rip their throats out. And the Packers got buried. Twice. Don't think that was quite a jovial When he was on the field with Sean McVeigh before the game against the Rams last week, maybe not as much with Mike Vrabel when they face the Tennessee Titans. This is not a a widely reported story. It's my own speculation. I think Matt LaFleur's growth is part of the reason why I feel supremely confident about the Packers this time around, he could not beat. His teachers last year. He has had no issue doing that this time around. Ahead of the 40 Niners during the regular season, handled McVeigh last week with no issue Yeah, Again. I'm not saying I think matted floors bad coach. I'm just saying it's something that I've noticed. There was something that popped into my head. When we were talking with Jason earlier about after the Tampa Bay game here. We didn't have a great week of practice. Okay. That's.

"From my Connor Gallo and the bartender at the corner Tavern. It was just a random Wednesday night in a year like this. We translate that for it means it's socked in here. It was empty in here. It was horrible. I wasn't making any money. I wasn't having any fun. And this tip was stunning. It's an absolute blessing. And and Doug Doug Bacon said. It's worse than anyone can imagine people in the industry of just getting by, but this brings hope their good things coming on this horizon. And now if you if you haven't read the Herald story on the website We can identify. The mystery Tipper. Ernie Bach. Junior. Come on down. Ernie. That was a nice gesture. That was a nice jacket was a really nice gesture of yours. Well, you know, in these hard times, I might, you know, pre pro, but I used to go out to dinner. A lot in these. These people worked extremely hard. The people at the restaurant, it's It's incredible what they d o And I've heard I've heard like a horror stories. I know some people that all restaurants and people come in with two or $300 Bill, and they kept five bucks. 10 bucks. I mean, You know, you can only give what you can. But you shouldn't do that. No, I So where did you Where did you drop it off? We know about the one place the corner Tavern on Marlborough Street. Where else did you drop off the big tips? Well, I tell you, this is what I did, Howie. I had the idea to go support the restaurants and You know, I'm an old guy. I don't hang out in bars these days. You know, many sure didn't want. I didn't want to go to the bar that I hang out with. Because I wanted to go to a little bit, You know, Um I don't know, Classier places that the word classier. Yeah, well, so I grabbed Greg Hill. You know Greg Hill, right? Yes. So I grabbed Dragon. I said, Greg, you know the area. You know all of these bars. I said Ted and I described the type of place we want and we went to six different bars. We we got a we got. We ordered something under 20 bucks and I left the tip and we ran out of the place. What is the significance of 2021 0 the year? What am I thinking up? 2021. I got it. 20. Yeah. Last year Like last year, people were doing 2020. And this year it's 2021. Wow. So did you. Have you heard back? I you saw that you saw the Connor Gallivan from the place on Marlborough Street He's quoted in The Herald is how it was a blessing if you heard back from anybody else. Well, actually, he called me because I did it. I did it. You know, I didn't do it. I didn't want to put it on social. I didn't call anybody And then then the Herald The Herald. The Herald picked it up. And kind of called me out Nice. You know, I admitted it. OK, so, Greg Hell did mention it on his show this morning what he'd done. I don't. I don't think so. We we didn't. We didn't. Our job was not to do that. Our job was there to support the bars in Boston. That's that's what we were really Maurin bars and we were restaurants. Right. Well, they're the ones that I mean a zoo Much is the restaurants have been effected the bars ary even worse shape. Let me tell you. We were on Lansdowne Street at Patrick Ryan's bar. And we were literally the on Lee won there. Literally. At some tape, Patrick would kill May I can't can't remember the name of the bar, but there was nobody there We were the on Lee customer. Loretta's were at Loretta's, and we were the only customer. And in the woman, the woman that they took care of us with us. We heard it was. It was perfect. How is perfect? Did you stop by J. J. Foley's my old stomping grounds in the South end. You know, we passed it because I looked up and I go. Oh, my faster than that. I haven't been there forever. We probably should've been. We were on a mission. You know what I mean? We kind of we had a certain amount of time we had to do it. Some of my old places are gone. You know, I like you, too. I'm sure fj Doyle's is gone. The in square men's Bar and Cambridge manage part. That was a great place. 69. Remember 13 69 kind of in sales and that that was a Brookline that was a Brookline, right? No, I think that was. I think that was there. No, I don't think that was in Brookline. But anyway, about about Sullivan's tap, that was. Did you go to Sullivan's tap? No, No, I didn't go to that one. In north Station on I'm guessing you didn't go to triple owes either. Oh, that's right. That's out of business now, like we went up to buy the Statehouse. 21st amendment. The 21st amendment. I love that place. I love that place. Um, no, we see was kind of down the street and over every every place was great, But you could just walk in and tell that there was a problem. I mean, what's happening? T these restaurants and bars is it's unforgivable. Unforgivable what they're doing. No, You don't want to talk politics, but you kind of bringing it up. I mean, who do you blame for this Unforgivable situation. Ernie Bach Jr. Who do I blame? You know, I don't like to blame anybody for anything, but I think I think it's too much. I think it's too much to sit here and devastate these businesses. It's too much. No, we were just talking to, uh to Deb Trotta. She owns the Lion Ville Tavern in Halifax. And you know, she put out a sign outside of her place. Charlie Parker, take 25% of your pay, and she was talking about how a year ago the economy was booming in her. Her employees work in We're buying houses. They were taken vacations and you know what else they were doing already. They were going up to the auto mile and they were going to your your your remaining dealerships, Dealerships that you sold. But they're not going there anymore, are they? Well, yeah, you know that the automotive industry was down millions of vehicles millions of vehicles. Yeah. You know how it's tough to each this too many people to blame. I mean, there's just too many people. You you just have to shake your head and say that had to be a better way. I think we can all agree on that, Ernie. Yeah, but I would like to say how I'll tell you that if you do go to a restaurant, you know, please, you know, tip him out. You know, city help him out it Z so difficult, so difficult. Yeah, I again going back to the Lion Bill Tavern in Halifax. I talked with her earlier in the day. She used to be have seating for 70. Now she has 22 23. The bar had 26 stools. Now. Now they have to push those tables up. You know, like they do Now They push the tables up and you can maybe get 16. If if everybody's all four people are sitting at the tables, it's It's horrible. It's horrible. It is horrible. It's terrible. It's terrible, and, you know, hopefully it's going to get better. I don't know, but it's It's really just gives you expecially for used to go out. You know, restaurants bars. It's like there's a pit in your stomach going. Why Why did this happen? So, Yeah, Ernie, Everybody is thinking they're driving around in there listening at home or they're listening. A podcast later on it, would there not live and they say, how do we get anybody Junior to come to my bar? Yeah, well, I don't go out much, Charlie, you know, usually when I go out and and it's not not because of cold, but I stopped going out like two years before called it, But when I do go out I liked I liked to go out..

"Who is live at five, sir form. Tonight's game was played at Little Caesars Arena that the only place little Caesars tastes good is at the arena. I know that from experience a wire to wire win for the Milwaukee Bucks a triple double for Johannes. And the final score it really not indicative of the way tonight's game went on. The bugs held a double digit lead for the bulk of this game pushed it to 20 Plus and Detroit made a little bit of Iran coming back in the fourth quarter. To make the final score cosmetically, perhaps more appealing on their end, But nonetheless, the Bucks wrap up this two game road trip with a second victory. They will return home for a very interesting contest Friday night against the Dallas Mavericks. More on that as we walk around the league A little bit later tonight. 85561616 20 ft. Like to join us. We've got some crazy news going out in the N B. A. That will get two coming up in our next segment. I'm trying to figure out the next time The Pistons are going to beat the Milwaukee Bucks and Justin, this is not 14 in a row. We're going back to. Ah, you know a couple of years ago three years ago to be exact. The last time Detroit beat Milwaukee That's a playoff series in there. 19 of the Bucks. Last 21 games against the Detroit Pistons have resulted in victory. The Pistons were shorthanded tonight, but quite frankly, even when their full strength They're also somewhat shorthanded. This is a clean victory as you might expect bucks doing exactly what they had to do. Yeah. And I want to go back to your little Caesars. Come in. I mean, what What's with this phrase that you're throwing at little Caesars? Well, hey, look, you know for me if I'm going to show a little Caesars, you know, I'm a Palermo's guy. If I'm going to tell little Caesars, I better be pretty close to home base, and we're gonna put it that way. But I must admit it covering the Bucks Piston Syriza couple of years ago. It just tastes a little different, right? It's like why in the in Napa It's like beer to craft brewery in Milwaukee, right? It's just it's different when you're in the setting and little Caesars pizza. It tasted better at little Caesars Arena than any other location. I've ever had it. Yeah, I can only imagine. I mean, I've had no complaints with little Caesars throughout my professional pizza eating career so off the pizza chains, and this isn't Frozen as I too would lean towards Palermo's, but I would choose little Caesars of among the chains out there as for when the Pistons will win. I guess whenever they get better players, I mean, this is the same things that we saw here for the better part of Almost two decades. I mean, think back to when the Pistons were good in the early two, thousands and and on their way to an NBA championship. I mean, we were basically looking at the same thing here where the bucks face them in the playoffs. And somehow managed to take a game in that series. But still it was similar streaks that we're looking at. So they are two franchises that air headed in different trajectories, and it seems like they've been that way. Throughout the course of existence here that you go back to the bad boys mean That was the last time that they were both really good, and we talked about that one of the last times. The Bucks and Pistons played here, so Yeah. I mean, I don't see it happening any time soon. Unless we run into another game like we had to close out the season last year in Denver were basically nobody played. That's probably the Pistons best chance if it's arrested for you, honest And Chris and drew holiday. Oh, I just have to start in a lot of perm or all right. Well, all right, let's have a little fun with this. We'll put it up on Twitter at 6 20 Wtmj are at ESPN Milwaukee, Greg Hill producing the program tonight, DJ standing down on ESPN. What about their Greg? The Pistons will beat the bucks when Fill in the blanks open ended answers to this question. So will it be 3/5 of the starting five coming down with some sort of stomach virus or something and not showing up at the arena? I might be the bucks for fitting a game. For whatever reason, maybe the team plane there's been able to take off what would likely result. The postponement. You know this just that I enjoy seeing Blake Griffin lose. Tonight. You watch them on the floor of his body language tells you everything you need to know about why I didn't learn anything about the bucks on this road trip. I didn't expect to learn anything about the bucks on this road trip. They beat less their teams for as much as we want to give the Orlando Magic credit. You know, it becomes a little more interesting when a team like the jazz or the maverick or coming up next week. The Brooklyn Nets, which will get into coming up in our next segment, appear on the schedule. But If you don't take care of these games, your long term goals of the season don't become in view, and the buck certainly has some lofty goals for the regular season. Well, and I do think that the final score was actually indicative of this game where the Bucks were up by as many as You know in the twenties and they had large leads me 23 was their largest. That came in the second quarter, but we were routinely saw the box pushing that lead near or above 20 points..

Boston - Cam Newton Says Fit With Patriots Is ‘A Match Made In Heaven’

"Quick Art quarterback Cam Newton called his fit with the New England patriots a match made in heaven saying that on the Greg Hill show on w. e. in Boston this morning you tend to agree, I. Do I think being able to rebrand self with a ill football savant like bill belichick like Josh mcdaniels will put him. Situations where their team won't beat themselves and allow them to do what he does well, and not put them in situations when he doesn't really well, you know anytime, you can do that with your Kobe perset and be able to show the flexibility. I believe that the Patriots been waiting for an opportunity to ask new wrinkles to that offense of system that has the added ability to grow under. Tom Brady for like twenty seventeen years. I. Don't Know How long you've been at least twenty years seemed like it's been forever man but it's between love and hate he love you today while you cheat. So you ask for that money let's see how they love you
