"greg guy" Discussed on Game of Crimes

"Left. And I was, I didn't get along with the head coach at Nebraska. Was that Tom Osborne at the time? Yeah. Yeah. And so it was and then my mom was sick. And with cancer. And so it was the spring at this spring game and me and another player whoever this might sophomore year going into my sophomore year. And whoever knows going after my freshman year sophomore year. It was whoever scored the best in the spring game would be marked for sinner, starting center the next season. And I had a very good game. And spring game. And the grades came out and I was not going to be the starting center. And it was like, well, this is bullshit. And. Old players, I mean, that were seniors graduated with Rick bonas and Vince ferragamo and different guys, they were like, dude, this is bullshit, you know, you need to leave. And so it's like, you know what screw it, I'm gone. And so I was just going to go home, my dad was an architect, had a construction company in Midland. And my mom was sick, so I was like, you know, I'm done with this. I'm going home. And so I get home and I'm going to start working with my dad, and he's like, and my mom are like, you can get your schooling paid for. Don't be stupid. Go to school. And bailor had recruited me. I was heavily recruited coming out of high school. So that's when I went to Baylor. Before we get too far in, how many offers did you have coming out of high school? And why did you pick Nebraska? Because by the way, you know what, the amount of Nebraska's helmet stands for? Knowledge. Knowledge. See, you know. I'm not stupid. I know how to spell. But anyway, my senior year, I was very highly recruited, and in practice, I got kicked in the side of the foot, and it broke my little toe. And so I had a break on the outside of your little toe, and the tendon that attached to it, and it pulled it back. So the doctor said, take two weeks off. And then you can start playing again. So I took two weeks off. Well, all these schools, I mean, I had, I can't remember how many how many schools were recruited me. Is all over the country. And everybody quit talking to me, except for Nebraska. I mean, everybody. It was like. Because of the injury? Yeah, because of broken little toe. And it was like, well, you know, they probably all they're saying it's a little toe, but what is it that really wrong with the kid? No. But anyway, Nebraska always kept recruiting me. And plus the guy that was recruited me from Nebraska, Jerry Moore. He went on from Nebraska to Appalachia state and setting coach there. Greg guy, but he played for my high school coach in Bonham, Texas. And so there was a little more knowledge sharing and so Jerry always kept recruiting me strong. And so that was kind of the determining factor why I'm going into Nebraska. And then after I got there and then went through whatever. And then when I went back, it was like, well, you know, my old high school offensive line coach was now coaching at Baylor. So I got ahold of them and said, hey, I want to walk on, you know, Baylor if you have to let me. But the problem back with the NCAA in that day, right? Was you had to sit out of here, didn't you? It's not like the transfer portal. Now you had to sit out for a year before you could be eligible, right? Yeah. And I did have to sit out. I mean, be red shirt. That was my red shirt year was sitting out. But you could still go to practice and do stuff, right? Yeah, you were a practice like in the NFL. You were a practice squad guy. You ran plays against the defense and so you were the Rudy rudiger for the Baylor bears. Yeah, and in fact, I won the golden egg for that year for being a good practice guy. The golden egg or something like that, it was something golden. The golden turkey, good egg. You're a good egg. It was like, I got a little trophy. I think I still got it. But it had diapers on it. And it was like, yeah, it was, I mean, Baylor, I love Baylor. I'm not bad. This I grew up church of Christ. You know, the holy rollers and went to Baylor and Baylor's baptist centric school, but back then in the late 70s, when I was there, it was like 50% were baptist professors and 50 cent were 50% were whatever and it was like if you cheated and got caught, you were out no matter who you were and you know I got caught cheating one time, but I didn't get kicked out because I even copied the person I was cheating off of in the name slot. I copied their name on the name slot too. That really helped me. Truly stands for knowledge. Yes. You have relied on Nebraska. That really did happen, but it wasn't me. So then I went to Baylor. But how many offers do you think you would have had coming out of high school? I don't know. Because my coach kept them all. He didn't give any to me till after we had finished our senior year. Oh, okay. So I had a stack, you know. You should have went to all I can tell you you should have went to Notre-Dame. I had letters from Notre-Dame. Well, you should win. He was smart enough to turn down the other day. That's not South Carolina, Steve. Southern California. That's not you. Come on, man. And it has been, I think, 1122 days since USC last beat Notre-Dame. So we're going to keep the street going. So anyways. Well, and then one of our players we just got was talking today or yesterday, day four. Anyway, on an interview and he was talking about all his family were all University of Southern California, guys. And girls. And he went to UCLA. And he goes, yeah, but he goes, we beat him this past year. I think he said, we put 60 on him. So I didn't obviously I didn't follow the game or anything, but he said his family, none of his family would speak with him, so. You always have great college stories. And I bet you there were some good rivalries down in Texas too that could rival that. So, but you did that year or so now it would be kind of what your fourth year of college, you're actually playing your third year football, right? Yeah, but it's my.

"I left to you and said you know we want to do this but numeric actually has some challenges in terms of you know it's not the have enough types We need more operations. Broadcasting's bela more settled They wanted to record raise. They want to record a razor like a data frame. But a little bit different. They want more structured data so he had called me even early on then and they said you know when he would. You wanna work on something to make this work. And i said yeah i mean just but i'm going here i we'll see if i have time. So in the meantime i was teaching in was emerging. I had a student. I was constantly while i was teaching trying to fund stuff so i had a graduate student. I'm only graduate student. Chinese fellow hung luhanga is his name greg guy. He wrote a bunch of stuff for interactive. Iterative linear algebra. Got into writing some of the litter algebra's tools that are currently there inside by immer. They've gotten better since but there's in two thousand five kept working on site by but perry has started working on a replacement to numeric called memory And in two thousand four a package called the image. It was image processing library there was written for number and it had in it a morphology tool it's opened relations. You know there's sort of this. As a medical imaging student. I knew what it was because was using segmentation a lot and in fact i'd want to do something like that and python inside but just have never gotten around to it so when it came out but it worked only on a memory and sci-fi needed numeric and so we affect the beginning of this split numeric number. I didn't share data. They were just too. So you can have a gigabyte of numeric number i did and gigabyte of numeric data and they wouldn't share it as you have these near these scientific libraries written on top. I got really bugged by that. Yeah i got really like oh man. This is not good. We're not cooperating. Now we're not doing each other's work and was just young community. So that's what led me. Even though i knew it was risky because my a tenure track position two thousand four got reviewed they said. Hey things are going okay. You're doing papers coming out but you of spend a lot of time in this open source stuff maybe do a little less of that and a little more of the paper writing a grant writing which is naive but it was definitely the tie the thinking and it still goes on still goes on..

"The orioles. See boy on friday who manzini. I hadn't seen him since twenty one thousand nine hundred and obviously didn't get to see him last year. and then every time that the orioles events. You're not seeing the all-star game. No i didn't see any players at the all star game i saw. Where the fuckers. Either you saw him. And i didn't. I don't know. I was down there while they were taking. Bp he was wearing me out Because me me and not go back and forth about the best ale for about the best first basement in the american league and Manch is was was giving me shit about it on twitter awhile back and we were just kind of revenue each other about it so he was talking shit to me while they were taken. Bp for the derby. About the best about being. I forget what he's talking about olsen. Let's get to see you have time for the other first baseman in the american league. Just what a fucking. What a good dude. Greg guy them gave him a big hug. Just the i don't know if this is legal but yeah quality quality human to do it anyway Thoughts flannel thoughts I don't know if you saw this. I'm sure you did. Vlad guerrero junior. Josh donaldson jersey exchange at home plate. Why like this. What it's really cool. Just jd in vlad. It's not like a passing the torch by any means but jd. Pretty impactful guy. Up there in toronto. Vlad kinda say the same thing for vlad so you've got to mvp's exchanging jerseys You know jd. Rounding third in this thing. And vlad getting ready to just take over major league baseball. But i love it because you see this stuff in every other sport and you see it. Meaning the fans. See this baseball. Jared a lot of times you sin for and meaning. Hey you got jersey over there. Or can i get a jersey. Tell the clubby let them know pay for donate to a charity. Whatever you know if there's anything of a minute like or whatever like i can sign that for whatever But that exchange doesn't typically occur in front of fans in the nba absolutely jersey exchanges down at mid. You're taking shit off thrown into the stands given away shoes. Love all of that. Soccer saving happens jersey exchange middle of the pitch. Nfl same exact thing. Baseball doesn't happen. So i love to see that because in that moment those guys are inscribing the jerseys. Maybe right a little something you know. And the fans behind them. Just a backdrop. The whole scene was very cool. Dude stand behind home plate her just off to the side. Everybody clapping are just thought. It was a really cool moment. And i think What's funny is because this happened I think it was. He was rinaldo. Somebody like stopped stopped him and asked like a swap. Jerseys like your jersey. He was like who the fuck are you know not not swapping my jersey with you. That's not happening. I would. I would hate to see that unfold. That would be kind of cringing swap. A jersey with me. But who i was. Just gonna ask you if you were going to swap a jersey with someone in major league baseball right now. Who would you want to swap. Jerseys with out have to have the first be someone who would think that it was funny that they got my jersey. Probably a doll back. I would wanna swap jerseys with someone who would understand that like i want to hang your jersey up because i like you as a person not because like i'm like a fan of you as a baseball player like i i hang jersey up because i like. That guy is an individual like happy to have that jersey hanging up in my office like i got. I got fucking the only jersey that i have hanging in my entire apartment is right here. And it's the the players weekend jersey. It's the travis shaw mayor ding-dong city jersey. And it's like i hang up because it's like we came up with that nickname and it ended up catching on a major league. Baseball player. used it on his players weekend jersey and then he just like signed it and said thanks for the nickname. So it's like that's cool like there has to be a story behind it so like glass. Now i like having. If i if i did like him you would want him to sign it. Sex god tyler whereas now yeah yeah like this one says like like rocket thanks to the nickname travis. Shaw mayor ding dong city. That's cool. But i think yeah i would wanna do one with like now doll beck jd fucker. Jesus i'm not asking you to put an entire room together. I would like to put an entire room together. Yeli obviously g. league. Where would i be without g. Lido in his hair product recommendations. I'd still be a virgin. You'd still you'd still be rocking a cat. Yeah yeah. But i think man cora too does it. There's a lotta guys exchange of. Yeah that's so cute..

"FM and Harford County. Thanks, Bill Accommodation company, the German site Mint. Last week could conceivably blow the Russian collusion case, which we now have got Hillary Clinton's fingerprints all over it. Wide open. Could I don't say it will. But it is interesting. Huge election on it is going to be revealed this week. Big win for the Maricopa County Forensic Audit will take about Big Ron versus Joe Biden around three. And big run is going to win this one. I think, as well as the previous two Top story, though, in this hour is that the dueling of German Joe disasters Afghanistan and our southern border. Both hitting him right between the eyes here as his poll numbers continue to plummet. That's why he wants to shift to covid and global warming and the rest of the stuff out there that he thinks is important, which actually isn't Getting Americans home is the most important thing you can do and tackle and keeping Americans safe. And by allowing unprecedented Unchecked. An illegal invasion of the United States. And he's been doing that for the you know. Today, of course, is what eight months in to the Biden presidency. Eight months ago, he was installed. As as president. And now we have this well, close to two million. Two million illegal aliens either have been crossing into the United States and or got got away. Two million. And largely Brown. Latino immigration, some white And some European types. Some middle Eastern types have been able to get in. We know that And all of a sudden down at Del Rio that port of a point of entry. Uh, influx of Asia Haitians. Some 14,000 Haitians, because if they try to get here by boat, Coast guard or substance sends them back. Same for the Cubans. But if the getter by land it's the wet, foot, dry foot Dilemma together by land. They thought they would be safe, just like the brown people did. But no, the black people are going out. In fact, how's this for irony? The United States has closed The Del Rio border. Crossing is thousands of these black Haitian illegal aliens pouring into the country. They actually closed it. That's never happened in the last eight months, and then they began flying Haitians camped in Del Rio back to their homeland on Sunday, nearly 15,000 illegal aliens, mostly from 80. Have been repatriated out of San Antonio. Those flights began on Sunday. At least three flights with 100 45 passengers each left San Antonio and arrived in Port au Prince. So again, we wonder another. They're invoking title 42, which is the law, which they should invoke across the board. But no, the brown people get to stay. The black people get out. That's the message. From Chairman Jo Texas Governor Greg Guy but says Look more patrol has just been completely overwhelmed. Here. Border Patrol is completely overwhelmed on what's going on at the border. They, uh, the Border Patrol. Has not had sufficient personnel to be able to respond. No, he haven't. And that's why he's um deployed. DPS Department of Public Safety Troopers National Guard they build a barricade of SUVs. Along the border around Del Rio amid this surge of illegal aliens, and you know we got their hands full when when he says he got this many points of entry available in Texas, and they asked Texas Department of.

Modell was the underdog it came from humble beginnings and never gave up is brewed from premium. Hops to create a chris pills or style. Lager would set the standard for authentic mexican beer. So the next time you tuning into ufc fight card. Make sure that you've got the beer. That's always in your corner. Modell brewed for those with the fighting spirit drink responsibly. Beer imported by crown imports chicago illinois. Hey ryan we paid some bills. We got some ad reads are his demand are as we continue It's week one in the nfl so the first time we got to see. Somebody's great young. Quarterbacks trae lance justin herbert. We got to see a in new england. and we see trevor lawrence. We saw matt lord. Sorry i forgot their names but rc. When you see these guys for the first time you see the star potential another guy. We got to see for the first time. A couple of weeks ago was patty pimlott and we saw his star potential. So when you look at these young athletes making their debut to the national audience or to the international audience bright. How much pressure comes with that. And who are you impressed with. In those debuts between the you have guys and also the guys made their starting quarterback debuts last week hey well listen. I don't want to be the football guy. That's on the show that says all the things are better right. I don't want. I can't let the football hear me do that. May patty was impressive. And i think for for me. It's about energy right. It's about what you bring to any place that you're in the prefight right. The prefight had us excited. Obviously walking against the octagon and then the potential being shown inside the octagon right the hook finishing the fighting and then have to finish it in the fight being able to come on afterwards and have an energy have a confidence have a bravado that was full of appreciation right patty pimlott p- didn't come on in and make you feel like he. He was entitled to that win. He didn't make you feel like he had never gone through anything for him to say you know what with the adversity that i've dealt with not only in the fight game but adversity i've dealt with in life. I was prepared for this moment. And so now you not only have this captivating dude that has this haircut. Like mark davis. Who's do owner of the las vegas but you gotta do get goes out. Talks the talk. Walk the walk and then show some humility afterwards. Says you know what i'm just like. Yo i'm human. I've had to deal with things. But because of the stuff i've dealt with. I'm ready for this moment. And i think that's what got me more excited than anything. We've seen dudes walk into the octagon. In debuts right and be great we've seen them answer all the questions that we needed them to answer when they showed up but it was everything that goes along with patti pimlott. That's important because now that's where the fight game is gone. The the fight game is no longer you just get to get an octagon and do what you do. People pay money for the right if people were paying. We're paying money for that. It wouldn't matter about brand. It wouldn't matter about social media what this dude is and what he can be is the next star of the ufc and we all know that dana is looking for stars. You know what i love about. Patty pimlott was that he got hurt. His fight right so it looks like oh my goodness. The plans are going to be spoiled. Then he wins in the fascinating did but then he goes on the microphone and he puts himself on the same level as defense but he put himself above the other prospects because he called. nobody out. Is that no no no no you call me out right. You call me out. I'm going to be the guy and not everybody understands that you have to do those types of things to really separate yourself from everybody else because we've seen a ton of people and young athletes make impressive. Ufc debuts but we don't see them handle every single step of the journey in the right way. I thought that patty pimlott having to deal with the adversity of the fight. Having to talk with michael bring in the octagon who is a wordsmith himself handle himself the waited he did leave the dancing singing. How you like me now. Going into the back and dropping dimes over and over again was absolutely perfect but ryan. I gotta be honest for as impressive as patty. Penalty was kind of left apex day. Not about eating thomas. i'm sorry. I'm sorry that i'm a big guy that likes to big guy right because guess what the vast majority of people like the big guy. There's very few people that it's very few beams. There's very few khanna. Mcgregor's that if conor mcgregor hobby even i walk onto a campus. Everybody's gonna be intrigued by those two small guys generally stick tom aspinall and you put him in. Paddock hewlett walking around. Espn the people in that place are gonna turn and look at tom. Ask go walk. Who's that because he's a heavyweight and what he did. Von was insane because when he landed that elbow speed walk just crumbled under him in now. You got a young athlete. That's undefeated in the heavyweight division. That is not only winning finishing people. now he's put back behind our lobski. He's beating former champions. He's beating greg guys. Need looks to be the next big heavyweight star in the ufc and guess. What our c- for as exciting as patty is looks like a young heart or one of eric's way back in the day love..

Cooper will be in the hall of fame within three years. He was the best defensive player on nine different finals. Teams the lakers. Don't win magic's five. Titles without micra. Oh yeah i forgot to ask you how that went super boring if you don't i mean what was it. "Into business for themselves. Revolve gums greg in the anti fan talk anti anti evil awful terrible fans. The us fans greg guys low greg. Another fantastic by the way would still. What's your name. Steve ass would stone. Cold doing his podcast. If punk didn't break the fourth wall yes you would be doing it anyway. I think this whole thing happens like the podcast and all that stuff does to see punk. Doesn't break the fourth wall to the podcast point. The moment that i would point to that opened the gates for that and of course is the screw job right. That's the moment that made people more interested in what was happening backstage than anything else. So it wasn't a pipe bomb or anything like that. I think the screw job may people more interested in what was happening back. Yeah i do think. I i agree. This job is the number one moment of what's really going on that we've ever had i. I think the one thing. We can all agree on though whether whether punk is in a conversation with the all time greats or not and by the way i listen. I don't necessarily think punks great guy. I'm not like you know. Yesterday i had heyman on The the case show. And i asked him about it and he was going off on me like i'm a punk fan boy. I'm really not. I am not. I don't think see punks the sickest wrestler of all time. I think he's incredible on the mike. And i think what he does. That's so special is that he's able to perform without putting on any airs. Like there's no like john sina and the rock great promos but when they get up there. It's almost like you're watching. An actor put on a great show. Cnn punk has his awesome ability. I guess i appreciate a lot as a radio guy to really just turned up his straight up regular personality one tiny notch to where it's like you swear he could be a phone conversation when he's in there. Although i will say moderately warm take. I did not like the end of last night. He did not plan what the end was going to be. And i thought he was like. Yeah i'm back kind of drop the mic. If i'm picking. It was a perfect thing until the last second and it should have ended a little bit before that but that was a moment as she g. I mean that was a moment that i am excited to see what the response is like for it. I think this is. This is good for the wrestling. Business in general agreed agreed because he was missed. Let's be honest as much as as much as people give him. Flack for for the coca obama podcast and bashing people and being bitter people dead still wanna hear that music it and people dead still wanna see him in the ring and god what a difference it makes when a superstar retains their logo and they have music that can be purchased. You know whack. That would have been if he'd come back with some generic bootleg culture personality and the logo was slightly different. Like the fact that it hit the exact same way well. That's the genius of his logo being in the chicago. Flag basically that. Wwe take that from him. and man. I heard a question asked on another podcast. And i thought it was a from listen. I thought it was a great question. Has any wrestler ever been more associated with a city than siham punk is with chicago. And maybe brennan calgary but no because he. He ended up taking all of canada. Yeah he became a candidate guy. He's you know he does have a football team named after a hockey team. The hit-men but but no. I mean let's be honest. Chicago's more and even british bulldog in london no jr and oklahoma now. If i want to be a nerd. I'll say not a city.

"It's only eighty cents because that one was always piling up for him. I do have one question. That's actually related to what you're talking about not the movie whatsoever but the soda crush do you remember the if you go to taco john's sometimes they will have dr crush dr pepper and crushed even its own. Little logo was official. The fuck was that. I have no idea what that is. So my familiarity with taco. John's is. I moved to wisconsin eight years ago. And i know there's one in waukesha and they sell potatoes called potatoes. And that's fun because it stock. Oh john's folks. And everybody wants the potatoes ole. I have no idea. But that's fucked up if you mixing orange soda and dr pepper or some kind of monster. You're some kind of thomas tall. If you will anyways thomas legendary. Entertainment decided that he he really wanted to go. Create all these these movies with a monster verse that of course included king kong and so he could build a giant marvel esq franchise around godzilla. There already was king like he didn't bend any big toe he just needed. Everyone has done. Yeah yeah yeah. In fact if you like the lesser known eighties Hey say of toho very literally did a out strong connected universe films. Yeah it comes in a blueprint and ottawa's through we're hollywood went so you know. I kind of wish that we can retroactively. Go back and stop rapping. Well it's too bad. Thomas toll actually invented anything. Listen number two is when thomas tall. Isn't doing his standard-issue exploitation. He's going back into time and he says he's stealing ideas for minorities and he's claiming so just like james camisole greg guy. Anyways we we get to the first week to the first godzilla in the new monster verse. And who do they. Tap for this big american reboot of the classic franchise godzilla. None other than gareth edwards. Who was known for making the movie. I think it was just called monsters right. And it's the it's the kaija movie where it's kind it's called monsters. But you don't see the monsters. You just kind of see people reacting to monsters and he made it for like twelve dollars or something and everybody went. Ooh yes this like. A really heavy handed like immigration allegory. That's not very good And it's also it's kinda like a demo reel basically it's a. It's a look what i can do. And so then. He gets hired for godzilla. Which i'm guessing was the whole point of making monsters. And would you know the guy who made the melancholy kaija movie. Where you don't show the monster makes godzilla movie. That's extremely melancholy. Where he refuses to show us the monster. Jack what the fuck i hate. This movie is awesome. Someone someone complaining to me about not liking this movie..

"A different track. You think you would be on today. The uae really wanted to be a marine biologist. A reporter when i was a kid. Those are the two things i used to be so i used to walk around going. This is patrick. gallagher. Bbc news lebanon. Thought that was really exciting. I watched news. When i was eleven years old and i love any kind of ocean stuff. One thing that that got me off of marine biology was watching. Jaws finally started diving. And you know. I finally figured out how to go scuba diving and i realized how much i loved it again so yeah i probably would have been a marine biologist or reporter. Just definitely nothing in sales. Because i'm terrible at it. God the second job in the world. I'm pretty lucky. I mess rockstar. Just not to stop people. Think i mean. I for all the extra stuff is just. I can't even imagine what it must be like to be on stage with twenty five thousand people moving to something you've created able to create. Music is something. I wish i could do. You know what what must have feel like to be on stage with creating this incredible music with other people in the connection. And the feeling the fact that i would give week in my life to do that. One night combat week like june fourteenth twenty. I eighty eight. But i would give. That's those was very specific. Yeah yeah oh man. I know that you also you also played. You're in battle star. Galactica is well i did. I did one episode of that played. A guy named grimes who got in a bar fight with. Yes what was. I love that show like i stood his day. I still think that's one degraded shows of all time. Do i in his so underrated. I think it's one of the best television shows ever. I've i've actually gone through the entire series three times. I was be on it. I love that. I love that show. I hadn't. i'd only started watching it a little bit before. I did it. Because i was a little dubious and then i realized how good that show is. I show a soda good. You know it's because it's on a huge biggest epochs. gillian get. Which is the galaxy universe. But it's all came downed intimate human relationships and human from laws and it was incredible. I loved about it is. I couldn't tell those pro religion or anti religion. And sometimes i'll make this is carla. Jonah knows anti i go. That's what it's supposed to make you think about it yourself. I love yeah. I love that show. I wish i had done another episode convention that too but apparently one episode doesn't get you get looking ahead. Are there certain kinds of projects that you would love to be involved with. Is there a type of of movie or game that you think you. You'd wanna give a shot. Well i would love to. Do you know Epic sci-fi movie. You know you know. Be a big part of marvel movie or something like that or something like mission. Impossible where you get to travel everywhere. Because that's one of the things i love about this business but for me personally. I've been just missing theater. Which sounds really funny. But i haven't done theater in almost two decades. And that's where i started and i kind of want to go to play somewhere again. To be honest with you is the thing that as an artist is most exciting to me but yeah and then the flip side of film and television the other side. It'd be to play something really small and intimate you know just some sort of small indie movie. Something a little bit outside the box from me like a dad or a lawyer or something. I play a lot of cops. Play cops but you know it is. It is really a museum before. It is really fun to be part of a huge huge epic blockbuster and i would like to do that again. But in saifi. 'cause i love sci-fi stuff very nice that's awesome. I do have a very super serious question. So we talked to dice. Que in december and greg guy super nice superfund. If if i needed help if i needed somebody to defend me in a fight you're dice. Que who should. I turn to talking to our characters you talking personally. Who'd who'd be their best. And i guess let's do in real life. Let's do in real life. Well okay. i haven't had a fight in a long time. I would say because. I don't really wanna get into fight. I think ice cares. Also wait for the then. People think i think dice que. Would then you quite. Well i think is going to be able to talk you out of any trouble as well. You know what pushed cameras shove. I'd have your back to throw when i was younger. I i'm pretty sure i can still do to head. That's good to know that's good to know. I'd have your back to you. Might only be good to take one punch. But h i was i was i was. I was a rush. You go crazy you the ground and if it wasn't over in thirty seconds i was out of breath i just lost. You can always avoid of slight. That's you how about how about your character. Wise like way d- do you think would be most effective if you had to adopt one one of their rx. What do you mean like like between so in from your characters and ghost like if you had to turn to one of them to get something done. Do you think you turn to to your character using your turn to to jin depends on what it is. You know. i mean if you need some kind of big project like you know clear out this forest. I'd go to and because he's got a bunch of guys go make do it. But if it's something small spy thing you know some kind of you know something a little bit more it takes a little more intellectual capacity. I admit i probably go to gym. That makes sense. Yeah and you know. There's always shimura dude. I think. I think colin respected shimura. Why didn't kill him. Let me let me ask you patrick if you had the opportunity i know that you said that you know you you come from theater and you know there. Is there a passion and love for being in theater. Have you ever thought about like creating a show or you know just trying to incorporate something within that not really a funny. Because for a long time i i felt like i'm supposed to want to be a writer and a producer because so many people are but it's just not what uses me. I'm not very good at it. I don't like riding. I'm not great at it I'm more of like a general ideas guy and then i'll take other people. I work well in a group ideas and let other people. You know do the execution of it so i don't know like i said we did have that idea longtime ago about having a a show the audience this decides the ending on. But i'm just quite happy being an accurate. Now i can say what i need to say through that in a lot of ways you know. I think it's even even something coats and there's a part of who i am. That comes out in that. And and that's a way of kind of expressing how i see the world high. Feel about things you know. The humor was was alm was me and i brought out myself the humor of coats. You know the kind of frustration of it and that kind of a weird softness to him. That i tried to bring in. And that's that's that's where. I can sort of say what i need to save the world and there's also twitter on this. You don't want to see my twitter feed us all swearwords.

Russell Westbrook's Wizards Reunion

"First of all. Can you just take us through the winding road of how russell westbrook ended up with the washington wizards so at some point over the offseason westbrook made it clear to the rockets that he wanted them to find him a new home. Something is up in houston. Tell our tim macmahon in. Adrian were ski that both russell westbrook and james harden have expressed uncertainty about the direction of the franchise. And when you have a guy who makes that sum of money and you have to match salaries it just becomes very difficult to find a market and that's kind of why you see a lot of these guys on supermax contracts. Getting swamped see john. Wall and russell westbrook ending up in a similar situation is the only two guys that are comparable because their salaries of the exact really try to make sense but one hundred and thirty two million one hundred and thirty two million. Okay ready to pull a trigger. That i think it was more of like you know what we think. Your guy will be better for us and we think our guy would be better for you. So why don't we just compromising. Meet somewhere in the middle on this but wizards and rockets agreeing to trade there on happy point guards. John wall the houston russell. Westbrook to washington wizards also sent the rockets a lottery. Protective twenty twenty three first round pick you wrote about how westbrook has made his presence known with his new team pretty much right away. What did you mean by that so. I asked the question of ryuhachi mira earlier this week about what he's learned about russ during his short time that they've been practicing together and the first thing that really said he's a great leader. His vocal is almost like a hiccup yellow dog. Does he always starts me. Is greg guy. I liked where with him. You know he actually changed. Like energy. the team. That's not something you always hear about russell westbrook but you know that he's loud you know that he's going to make his personality known as smith who is their backup point guard and has played for eleven organizations in his career. He got a call the night of the trade while he was asleep. Like in the middle of the night from russell westbrook and one o'clock in the morning and he's i wake up man what you're doing. I'm like brought. I am sleep. He like you know what. I'm all come on. You know what kind of juice we break in who russ is and restaurants kept yelling at him. Aren't you juiced argued right now. Aren't you juiced an issue is like i'm a sleep so i think the amount of energy that he's going to bring was apparent from that one. Am moment when he called in the middle of the night and welcome.
