"Casual friday. We got a couple of colleagues here today. Genie yandell and editor at kyw. And co host of battle tactics for your sexist workplace genie. This week's heat was historic re-ready of course not. When are you ever ready for historic heat. No i was not reading. Yeah kristen leong is here to. She's a producer k. O w how ready were you for that. Mid week marine push kristen. Yeah i was absolutely ready for it you know. I am from honolulu. But i was. I was not prepared for monday at all really marine push. Bring it totally. Yeah man that was too much. That was too much. Yeah yeah. I woke up that morning and i was like i can smell the sea and it was wonderful. It was wonderful. I came out like The whole world just lifted before this weekend seattle had only hit a hundred degrees twice in fifty years and then we did it three days in a row and you know just like the snow we get this like weather wimp mentality here. But that record. High of eight was hotter than new york. Dc or atlanta has ever seen. I grew up in chicago. And when i moved here i really had a hard core idea that people here were whether wimps and that is like that is so deeply inaccurate. Like i have done a full one eighty on that. I did it before. We had three days of one hundred of above one hundred degree temperatures. The first time. I was stuck in the snow here. I was like i am never going to say a word about people in weather here. I am so wrong. Yeah it was really brutal. It was really brutal kristen. How did you manage It was watermelon for all three meals on monday for sure and then it was an early evening dip in green lake for my wife and my dog and i so that was exciting. Wait a minute kristin. You have a green lake story. Yeah my little rescued doodle. I didn't know that she has one hunter inside of her. She mostly sleeves twelve hours. Today we went for a little swim in green lake and she saw some ducks took off across the lake. So i had to swim across the lake to go get her and where people helping. No they were not. They were cheering for her. I think we're the laughing at me. I finally get her. I have to drag her back to shore and we're like that's bad dog. That isn't exhausted dog. But funny did we learn our lesson. No we did not because about twenty minutes later. She did it again. I was like. I'm not going out there again. So my wife actually got in had to swim across the lake. The poor thing. She's training for traffic on. She's like this is supposed to be my rest day. I had to get the dog again again. My fellow green lake friends cheering for the dog. Was like get off on your paddleboard. Help us out. Because i don't want her to eat one of these ducks. Luckily no ducts were harmed and our dog. Radley will now probably not come with us. Go to green like there is video of this by the way and it is absolutely. It's interesting kristen. You said you wait watermelon for three days. Because i don't think i ate for like three days. It was terrible genie. Watermelon isn't the only thing that you can eat can ice yeah. We were up in the woods near leavenworth for the beginning of the week. So we were already dealing with like one. Oh two one. Oh three type. Temperatures and i started to panic. Because i knew we were driving home to it so i started looking for air conditioners for like the first time in twenty years. I'm looking when achy. Can i drive to wenatchee moses lake. There might be one in moses lake at the home depot. Like i did give up. I never founded but honestly when we'd pulled into town. I started blocking out all the windows that roasted i started harassing my family about opening the doors. It got ugly in my house. You know what though this heat has made people super creative with the way that they're trying to create. He like creating curtains out of foil like building their own little swamp coolers you know this is just. This is really an opportunity for some creative cooling happening in seattle homes. It's race attune ity. Oh cresa tyranny unity yes. Yeah yeah my spouse and my kid built a solar oven and baked cookies in the backyard. What didn't work it totally worked. I'm not laying. They were so delicious. Yeah tell me more. yeah so basically. On the hottest day we had plans to go swimming that evening at a friend's house and my daughter was like i am going to make cookies for pool outing and i was like no. You absolutely are not. It's eight thousand degrees outside. And she was super mad at me all day and then my spouse was like i have an idea. Let's build a solar oven and so they took a cardboard box aligned it with tin foil and then my daughter made the cookie dough and they put him inside and then put them out in the backyard with a a meat thermometer so we could make sure. The cookies reached the appropriate internal temperature. So we didn't give anybody food poisoning. Because i was a little concerned about that and it worked and they were so good. It took a couple of hours for them to bake but it happened. It was bananas kenny. That is next level. That's like people are cracking on the sidewalk like okay. We've done that. We've seen that. You guys were just baking full on batches of cookies in the sun. I wasn't. I was hiding in the back in the folding laundry. I was like we're not turning the oven on today. This like fully my spouse and my kid. I just was watching in all a+ yeah we've cracked an egg out onto the pavement to see if it would cook and before it cooked crow came duke. Yeah that was my only concern about the solar of him. I was like i don't know what better invitation to rats. There is than like a bunch of raw sugary dose sitting in a box in your backyard but no rats showed up. They weren't coming out either. It was too hot. Look full disclosure. We bought a heat pump a few years ago after. Like one of the really bad wildfire. Smoke summers because you know it's not like that's gonna get better. We wanted something with a really intense air filter. So we're very lucky in that way. But it also i don't know like it doesn't make me feel great that we made a decision to buy something with an air filter because the way the climate is going. Yeah okay but as of last week. Seattle was the least air conditioned metro area in the country. But i wonder if that will still be true a year from now because i played this no. Ac game with myself for twenty years and this is the year. i finally caved. It will be here next week. So i just i don't know i don't know i just don't know if i can continue to be creative like this. I was shredded. By the end of the week. I was my husband was standing in the kitchen cooking eggs one morning and i almost reached into the drawer behind me to grab a fork to stick it in him. I was so mad. I was cooking eggs. What are you doing. What are you doing and that was just a stove. Top man. I.

"Of time at Green Lake. Running laps on the trail had a rubber raft in my My trusty duster my 72 duster and go out in the lake and do schoolwork while floating out in the middle. More Recently, two of my daughters lived in apartments with roommates close to Green Lake, but it's not the same. Huge numbers of homeless encampments. There's a big one on the west side of the lake right now, and also I used to play a lot of basketball, both in the gym and on the outdoor court. At Green Lake, and it's just important for us taxpayers to have access to basic necessities. I got an email from a mom. Her name's Kristen and she joins us here on the door in months and show Hey, Chris, Nude Street to talk with you today High. Okay, So tell me about your experience. You took your Your child. If it's a center, Daddy said, your child, how old is your kid? She is 18 months, okay? All right. So you went You went to Green Lake and tell me what happened. Tell everybody what you told me in your email. We were playing in the playground. They're you know, Um, Andre, I had to use the restroom. S so I walked to the community center that is there. There are signs posted at the community center, um, temporary signs saying that the facilities are open. Um, but then they're also cordoned off with take for some reason, and I was very confused why they would say that the bathrooms are open but also cordoned off. So I went to ring the doorbell of the community Center, and after I could use the restroom, I was carrying my child. Um, and he woman behind the desk of the Community center said that, uh, the bathrooms are currently reserved for unhealthy neighbors. Andre was a little bit taken aback because I I didn't really know how to respond, and I just said Okay on she directed me to the port a potty. Dr Stations by the parking lot there. Yeah, I hate part of bodies. Yeah, they're not great. They're even worse when they're not clean. They were literally glistening with urine. Um, there was urine soaked toilet paper all over the place. It was garbage all over the place. There was beer Can they were disgusting. And I was expected to set my child down and just hope that she doesn't touch anything You don't want that is such an important point. Yeah, I mean, I said, I hate Porta potties. But I remember a couple of times when our girls were little And you can't leave 1.5 year old outside. Will you go use it? Oh, I can't even imagine bringing of 18 month old into one of those. It was absolutely disgusting. You know, it's one thing to have quarter parties that people have to use. It's another thing Just not keeping clean. Like your next to a playground. People have to use the bathroom next to a playground, you know. Yeah, And you look, every one of us has compassion for the homeless. I I know you do I know that I do. But this this absolute takeover I mean, we're the taxpayers. We're the ones who are paying for these facilities. We pay a lot in our property taxes to King County parks. I don't have three next King County or Seattle parks, but but we pay a lot for that. And then when we get filth in return, that's kind of a slap in the face a little bit. You know, it's It's a public bathroom, and it should be available for all you know, on housed, housed people traveling through town. It doesn't matter. It is a public bathroom and this is basic human health. We cannot be expected to just go in the street. You know it would be available for everybody. I agree with you. But there's also a danger in that Christian because we have had some horrific crimes. I've become friends with a Young woman she was using the public restroom at Golden Gardens. She was training for a marathon and homeless person who just moved here from, I think Arizona He tried to brutally sexually assault her and she fought back. But there is another homeless person who raped a woman at a at a restroom at a car dealership. Ah, yeah, I grieve that they should be open to all. But I also would have real concerns for my wife for for any of my daughter's just given some of the crimes that have happened with homeless people in in these public restrooms, their concerns that are valid, you know, I absolutely here that, um you know, my My mostly my take away from this Is there showers of these facilities as well? And I've actually had to use the showers. My water heater broke once and I had to get ready for work. So I had to go to the community center and I had to use the showers. On dime, wondering if I would still be extended that privilege. Um today or are those showers still just reserved for on house neighbors? Her words and what we're doing is we're prioritizing people who are committing illegal behavior. What I mean you're not supposed to camp at Green Lake. Most of them are the vast majority are heroin, meth users, and it's sad, but it's true. I don't care how much public officials want to Want to deny that and which said in your email, you said, I'm just hoping some people ask questions of Seattle parks and rec and holds them accountable to change the current policies and hopefully keep our parks clean for our Children. Yeah, I don't. I don't know when that's going to come back Christian, none of you why? It's really, really frustrating that I have to drive all over the damn city to try and find a clean and safe card from my childhood playing. Um, you know, it is. It is just really, really frustrating. And I feel like we give them just oodles and oodles of little of money and we don't see any return. I remember this lug like time ago when I was a very young talk show host, but I came on the air and deceives so Simple and naive in comparison to what we're dealing with today, But my wife and I took our girls to the arboretum, and we spread out a blanket and one of my daughters picked up a cigarette butt in the grass. And I was disgusted by that was horrified. And I was thinking, man that's like a dream situation compared to the heroin needles and everything. I mean, I was so naive back then thinking that that was a serious problem. But it was to me back then I don't know what I'd do if my kids were little And we had to check for heroin needles and all of that Every time we try to go to a park, Yeah, yeah, it's apparently my mother used to do this with the part that I played out when I was a kid because we didn't live in a great area either. Um, And that's just what she you know, raised me doing. Um, and now I'm doing the same thing. Um, you know, I will will never a million years with my child run around Seattle Park those shoes on exactly which I used to be able to do. Sure. Um, And it's Yeah. I just don't see. I don't think we're seeing in return. We give them so much money in our parts of filthy. Um, that being said, A lot of people are concerned about the amount of human waste that we have in our park. On def were so concerned about the amount of human waste that we have in our park. Why do we not have adequate bathroom facilities for people to use? You know, there could be a win win for everybody, not everybody who's responsible for these policies. They claim to care about the planet. But there's a string of RVs on the West side of dream like right now, and they often just empty. They're holding tanks.

"Books. A triple w dot bear and company books dot com or triple w dot inner traditions calm. So Katherine coming back then to your own work. Water, of course, is integral to your awareness to your spirit and to what you're doing in the world talked us a bit about Spirit and what you learned about water. You told us the first story of your revelation at Green Lake. But then it was in that in Seattle and Hurricane Floyd. In your question of all those animals that were released and died in the waters. How long before water so polluted? It can't restore itself. Why don't we talk first about water and the nature of water? Well. Water, of course, is essential to every single being on the planet. Everything If you go down the street and even look at freeways, there's water involved in them. There is absolutely nothing. No, nothing alive. Nothing built nothing that moves or stand. Still, that water is not part of And unfortunately for water over many, many years of people using it and abusing it, it has lost its ability to naturally purify itself. Water would normally be able to run under ground and living the aqua firs for as long as it needed to kind of cozying up with the stones down there and getting purified. Then bubbling up above ground springs and running back into rivers and the rivers would flow and go down waterfalls and let the air purify the water. Would twist around in the great Oxbow land bends. We see in rivers where they water could just kind of hang out for a while and bubble around and let the sun beyond it. But now what's happened is the rivers. They're dredged there straightened out so that the ship could go through them more. People pump water from the aquifer vers endless use of water. We are using it more and more and more, and there is no way for their water to naturally purify itself anymore. And so it's becoming very dire situation. We know there are people will just recently in our new Mexico News. There was a town nearby that didn't have water anymore. Everything was drying. Their wealth were dry and they were in a big crisis, you know, trying to figure out how well how are they gonna have water again? And there are people on the planet that have no water. They have no clean water. And so we We have taken this for granted for so very long because it's such an essential part and we will die if we don't have water, and not only that we've cut down all these trees. And the trees draw in the water. There, process of transpiration helps keep the water flowing in the evaporative process, sending it back up through the clouds and drawing it back down. And we have so drastically altered our planet that all of these natural processes are being jeopardized. One of the things you write about, and William Waterway who's joined me for a number of years about his different kinds of work. One was the Holy Order of water..

"A child, Kathryn, Like many of us, relished what nature offered an intern. She shows others how to help restore the beauty of our earth. Join us this hour for discussion of water healing for ourselves for the animal kingdom and for the planet herself. Thank you for joining us, Catherine. Well, Good evening. It's nice to be with you. Well, your book how to create sacred water. A guide to rituals and practices is really a beautiful sharing of your own life journey. So talk to us a little bit about when you were child. Why you begged your mother to take you to the rock shops. E grew up in Wyoming in the fifties. I was born in 1949, and we moved to Wyoming when I was like seven. And it was pretty safe and wild and open them. We still had, you know. Wild herds of animals just outside of town. It was a beautiful place and I fell in love with rocks at a very early age, and I picked them up wherever I could find them. And one day my mother took me to the Little rock shop out at the edge of town, and after that, it was all over. I just wanted them in my house. I wanted to hold them I wanted in my room. I was quite a pest about it to her. What's so funny? Remind me of a story when I was nine of going to what did the museums in Washington probably natural history and I bought Ah little thing of rocks on a sheet and I treasured it like it was my absolute treasure. My sister a year older stole it from a tour all the rocks off the shop, and I said, I'm running away and I did. I pack my suitcase and I ran to the doghouse s so I I understand when Children have this Natural understanding that there's something really amazing going on with rocks. And there really is something amazing going on with them, and I was so blessed grew up in Wyoming. It was just so beautiful and peaceful then and I slept outside in the backyard all through the summer and just would lay in there. Look at the stars all night. My family thought I was kind of crazy because nobody else did that. But they spoke to me. Well and you and I think what? It's a beautiful thing. You said that there are stone people, and they have wisdom teachings to offer us. Tell us about your Green Lake Revelation. Was walking around Green Lake in Seattle. Beautiful place very burden and a very popular place for everybody in Seattle to go to, and I had been thinking hard about the effects of the recent hurricane in a country North Carolina Hurricane Floyd. On how millions of animals have been washed out of the factory farms and millions and millions of gallons of sludge from the sewage pond. That were associated with those factory farms have been washed out. And I was thinking how much toxicity how many dead animals in the water handle.

"I'd like to welcome to the show. Zach and Leah from Peregrination Dash Travel Dot com and the peregrination YouTube channel. Who HAVE COME TO TALK TO US About Yunan? China Zach and Leah? Welcome to the show. Thank you so much for having us. We are so excited to be here and I have to get you to explain the term peregrination because it is not a term that I knew but I like it now. That told me what it means. So peregrination is the Latin word for a long or meandering journey. And that's the type of journey we are on and the Pasadena Twenty countries and we are currently in Antarctica so we have actually done a show about McMurdo base in Antarctica. We have never done a show from McMurdo base in Antarctica. Which is where we are doing this show from. But we're not talking about. You'll have to go listen to that show if you want that. So why are we talking about you? Not Well you're not is such a unique section of China that really has not been the main focus of any tourism in China up until the last ten years or so so it's a very unique separate section of the country that has a lot to offer and mainly it has a lot of beautiful scenery that is worth seeing indefinitely worth going to excellent and we have done a show about Yunan before. But it's been at least six eight years since we did a show on that region. Can you put this region on a map for us? So if you are looking at China it's in these southwestern region. China is a very large country as we know It's bordering Vietnam in house. We're learning which one of us the geographer aren't we excellent? And what are you gonNA lay out for us? It's basically a trip from the big city of could make all the way into the mountains and back to Kunming using may differ transportations in seeing things on the ancient tea horse trail as well as things that are brand new in on the innovative side of China will. Let's get to it in somebody till you started in Kunming. We'll start conveying. You'll probably fly in. We had to take a bus in from Vietnam and that worked out pretty well. We walked across the border and took a couple of buses. It took about six hours from there. But this podcast is focused on the two week trip. So you'll probably want to fly into Kunming. Their airport is very large. It's a brand new airport. It's only been there for six years. It's one of the fifty busiest airports in the world. I've no trouble getting air routes all throughout Southeast Asia and it's very accessible for many many different places. I remember a few years back when China went to build a hundred different airports in cities with more than a million population and I don't think I'd heard of any of them. There are a lot of people in China and there's a lot of new airports that they've built in so I'm surprised. It's one of the fifty busiest in the world. But only a little I know could mean itself. It already has six million people. It's a very large city with lots to offer but as we said before it has beautiful scenery even though it's such a sprawling city now they call it the sixty of eternal spring because the temperature is absolutely beautiful all the time and so much you can do in C. inexperienced there too. Is it in the lowlands still? It is six thousand feet level. Okay it is starting to get up there okay. Yeah and technically in the region. It's in the lowlands. I guess you could say because on the western side there's that bridge which it's gigantic as the Himalayas determined easy to get around the city also so but in the last few years. They've been working on the Kunming Rail Transit which just recently they completed most of. I think they're still working on a few sections of it but this makes traveling around the city ridiculously easy and at most. I think we spent one. Us dollar each other trip. So it's very affordable which is definitely a bonus if you're on a budget or if you're not still good so when staying in Kunming we recommend staying closer to the subway line because it makes it so much easier to get around and what's cool is that it has a lake nearby and it's not just it's city by itself and you can expect what you expect from all cities that it has a lot of good food. It has interesting architecture and has an old town has the new sprawling town but it also has cool interesting things like the world's biggest flower market in the southern region called the down man flower market. We took the sub or the metro. They're in it took about twenty minutes and then another ten minute walk but it makes everything so accessible. It's an easy place to travel once you get there the little out of the way to get there but when you get there it's really easy to navigate. And what are you going to recommend that we do while we're in the city itself? Well there's a few things we did which we really really enjoyed. The University district is an interesting place to be. If you've never been to China it's a brand experience for you just because Chinese culture. They're so active. So if you go to a regular park in specifically we're talking about Green Lake Park near the university district they have so many people out dancing in groups doing exercise routines you see families. You are being stopped on the street. Because they've never seen a Westerner. It's an interesting thing to experience. Also the flower market annually. They cut in south four point. One billion stems ridiculous number of flowers. We went there one day. Be should've gone when it was during the peak hours like at three. Am but we got there a little bit later and it was still just absolutely packed with flowers and women cutting flowers. Making flour crowns also really cool river walk which is free and it takes you through the new downtown or the more sprawling city area. The huge high-rises. It's going to the old town. Also it's relatively close to the newer section but you're able to see the rapid changes in architecture in the standard of living that this city has been going through within the past thirty years. It's so evident while this city was probably so small thirty years ago and it has blown up the back they got a huge airport really helps also in the metro and the new high speed rail system. There's a lot going on and it's important also touch on the cuisine. So Union Zine is very interesting. It's it's much different than the other parts of China. It is said to be generalized as more simple and less spicy but there are plenty of restaurants that incorporate this Hunan cuisine I'm making air quotes right now. Because it's hard to generalize what it is because it's it's made up of twenty six mountain tribes different types of cooking in its this huge melting pot of different flavors. Walk around find some street food. Enjoy THE CITY ENJOY. Old Town see the new architecture and enjoy the people around you street food. Is there a particular street food that you found there? The two enjoyed? Yeah so there is an interesting kind of cheese that they loved to preparing cheese isn't really something you think about. When you think of Chinese cuisine God at all yeah exactly. It's like something that even Chinese people are like. This is weird way. You were you eating that. Yeah Yeah exactly. It's a type of goat cheese. It's different than the goat cheese that you and I are more familiar with this ferry leathery sour almost hard textural cheese that they prepare sheets so they let it lay out in the sun and Harden almost taste almost like a pro vallone Interesting tangy flavor to it. They'll put it on sticks in the grill it cover it in a suite date sauce or or sugar over top of it or it can be sauteed in simple also simple flavors like tomatoes or onions interesting base flavor for different toppings Everywhere I mean you'll find it everywhere and also rose pastries you don't think about eating flowers. Most the time but fitting that rose pastries exist in the city of eternal. Spring is the biggest flower market in the country. Also in the same city. So rose pastries in strange leathery goat. Cheese would have to be our top to

"One of those reports from Decatur Georgia has a woman reporting that what she saw was a yellow fireball. That's very interesting because since she is a female almost certainly she does not suffer from color blindness or reporting of the color is probably quite accurate, and for a fireball to be green and yellow is in my opinion. Very very unusual. I'm not a specialist on meteors. But I don't know what would cause a meteor to or any object to incandescent with a yellow color. Moving unusually slow that was what I got. It was moving on usually slow, and you know, you were bringing up something about night. UFO's that can be deceiving. Have you had any reports? Lately about daylight UFO's that have been very impressive because those are the ones I think the most impressive you can get something on on any film or any anything on your phone. That's daylight, at least video or even pictures. I think that'd be amazing. Yeah. Some of our listeners in the Pacific northwest may know, green lake park in Seattle. Just a few miles west of the university of Washington. Just last night. I received a very credible sounding report from gentleman who has a very responsible job according to self description, and he and his son were at green lake park in Seattle.

"At green lake park in Seattle again. Sunday afternoon, the thirty first yesterday, and they saw three objects spread out across the sky that we're so highly reflective, and so luminous that they attracted their attention almost directly overhead suddenly as they were watching them. He reports all three of them approached one another at high speed informed, a triangular type formation in the sky above green lake, and then they streaked off and disappeared. Very very interesting report before I got a call from your engineer and. Executive producer. I guess runs title. Maybe I was about to post all of those reports, and I'm going to have to wait until Saturday when our webmasters backing down to do that. But it's a very interesting report. And yes, I am getting many Dale daytime citing reports. Yeah. Just seems like some of these UFO's I've been seeing at night. Are terrifying. What I mean by that is them, and it I you think to yourself. I it's it's extra bright landing lights coming at you. As you in Ohio is the one that comes to mind is because at first when I saw that I thought oh, those look like just landing lights on a plane, and then it moved so quickly, and then dropped those different colored balls of light. And I just thought to myself. Wow. That was me on a dark road somewhere with my camera. I'd be terrified. I'm with you on that one cloud. I don't want to be anywhere close to a UFO. I've seen them before. And they caused my heart to her pulse rate, Dan, crease every time I see one. Yeah. Yeah. I I just think that you know, when you see something like that some anomaly in this guy, even you know, even sometimes when you see those rockets so secret missions going up from maybe Edwards Air Force base. And people always send me pictures, or they send me video. What is this? And it is it's it you can tell it's the burn off of a rocket at nine off of a missile at night. And it leaves that incandescent glow in the sky, and it just it looks like the finger of of like the destroying angel coming down ready to touch an area and just wipe out civilisation just scares the hell out of the United things like that. Yeah. I'm with you on that one. We had a launch from a submarine off, Los Angeles or San Diego. Oh about a year and a half ago. I think it was and people the military did not announce the fact that it was going to occur. So it caught people unawares. And a lot of people were frightened by it. And rightfully so is a very very dramatic event to see one of those things go up. Definitely so Peter Davenport national yo reporting center, you take a few calls coming up. If you want to give a few reports, and then get some more focusing on that Ohio UFO that's making the news right now. We're gonna have a special guest who wants to talk about that. Also, this is the mazing UFO footage. Amazing. Your reports nine one one calls from all over Sydney saw plane. It was on fire turned out wasn't. He was something else. Dropping off what looked like several different colored balls in the sky from amazing for instant mazing stuff.

We have our usual allotment of guests today. But we have a special guest to start things off this morning as we ever bring you allow Shannon. Kelly Kellyanne, Tom hutler. The physical at hand therapy. Hell talk and our guest is Michael Albrecht Tuesday sarcoma survival. Michael, thanks for being with us today for those of us who don't know. What's our coma is and what you had to battle. Go through tell us a little bit about your your story with that right to start off. So so coma is an aggressive type of bone cancer. It it's happens around the bone the bone marrow and the tissue on the bone. And what I had specifically was called Ewing sarcoma was in my tibia, which is down in my leg. And it was it was a pretty awful nasty disease. I had it lasted for over a year, and I had to go through fourteen rounds of chemo, and it was it was a rough. Time in my life. I have to admit, but I got it. So. I am now got through it here. You are. You're a junior in high school, and you're having a great time. And you're gonna talk about an event that the sarcoma foundation has coming up tell us about that. Right. So I'm here with the northwest. So a coma foundation. We have a big event coming up on April twenty eighth downtown Seattle. It's at green lake park. It's called the dragon slayer. It's a walk around green lake, and it's supporting all of the soya comas. It's for the for the old. It's a great family time. And we hope you can make it vegetation is open. Now, you can go to the northwest so coma website to get more. Details on that who came up with the name dragon slayer. Right. So that was one of the students of found a chappie as he goes by Dr Konrad one of his patients ju- him a jarring of this boy fighting a dragon and the dragon represented the cancer. And then it was. Sketch Jain of the doctor Conrad Mr. chompy, and he was fighting the dragon, and that inspired Dr Konrad to create this organization and to create the dragon slayer walk for the end of sarcomas. What is your prognosis? Now. What's what's going on moving forward? You're completely clear this and healthy and strong or what's the story. Well, thank you fascinating one misconception that I find a lot of people having is that once even though I'm done with my chemotherapy, I'm envy mission. I'm not totally done. Even though you know, I got this periodic scans. And I got the doctor appointments till at five year Moi declared cancer free declared free of cancer even after that. I this lifelong problems, and I think more people should know about that even for being seventeen I've had shingles, multiple blood transfusions and. E coli and other problems, and I'm not here to complain or anything by just wanna make everyone aware that this is something that people need to know about do they need to know about it. We need to raise money. So there's more research and more available research to fight this disease. Absolutely. Most doctors agree that the number one Fain that is in the way of solving sarcomas as well as other cancers that happened to be popular with children is that the lack of funding for the research. All right. You're obviously handling this extraordinarily, well, you're very upbeat and bright, and and energetic and positive about this whole thing. And so we're thankful that you shared this with us. Give us the details. Really quickly once again on the dragon slayer, right? So dragon slayer is going to be down here in Seattle on April twenty eighth around. It's a walk around green.
