Fresh update on "green bay packers" discussed on Run It Again

"He say? About James Winston at the at the end there I. think that last game of the season. They asked him a question about whether or not his team could win a certain amount of games next year and he said, well, hell if we could win with this quarterback, we could win with. That was a little parting shot. Take. It any way you want to James Winston this is this is the NFL I. Guess. But I always liked the way. Arians. Coach is what I'm saying and I think he's a good fit for Brady. Bruce exactly what we're talking about in terms of details. And he's a high energy guy he doesn't he's not grinder. So he's he's an upbeat positive personality, which is really important and he he will absolutely make sure all the little things done that are supposed to be done in which is. Just. So important for Tom Brady that all the details get coach. The freelance stuff got just. You know that whole thing by get a feel freelance round throw the ball that didn't exist that the game is way too fast for that and you gotTa make sure everything is worked needs to be. A right and our last quarterback that we're going to talk about today Aaron Rodgers with the Green Bay packers and I'm GonNa try to just put that forty niner game that Ns that playoff game. Yeah. NFC Championship game. Out of my mind because for packer fans, I know that is not the Aaron Rodgers in the typical green. Bay football that they want to see this coming season. But if you're a forty niner fan, they wanNA see more of that type of football right? Where do you think Aaron Rodgers and the packers are this year? Well. This is our last year together. I. think There's in question about back you know he either he's outgrown the packers or Or they've decided to move in leave town and leave him there. Harvard you. WanNa, look at it so. He's got something to prove and a really great player like he is. He's such an elite player when they have something to prove they're very, very dangerous. I think he's going to have just a phenomenal season provided. They allow them to do that. You know they they help him with, but he's he's developed into such a strong personality there that are better in different. He's such a strong opinion guy about what should happen. that it overshadows kind of pushes that head coach down a little bit and that, and he didn't like that. He. Doesn't want to deal with that so. That's a friction and I think. To some extent I think the head coach feels like he's not allowed to be a head coach and they head coach really Aaron Rodgers you don't like to. So I I just think that that personnel is so big for him to deal with that. They're probably GONNA change after this and and you know whether that's good or bad we'll see. But I do believe Aaron Rodgers will have one of those mind-blowing seasons provided. Let him you know and we'll see how it goes. That's what happened with he and Mike McCarthy isn't it? I think. So you know he's earns a little bit different. I. Really like him I think he's just a phenomenal player. But just a observation just talking to guys that know him real well off the field. He's such an elite athletes. Such an elite player is so much great confidence in himself that when things aren't right he wants to know and he'll. He'll ask them really hard questions of these coaches. I respect that. I've always liked, Martius, do that to me. and. Take you back at first but I'll tell you what you make. Sure. You have answers for everything your preparation and he knows in his mind how things should be. With Mike McCarthy. May Be there. There's a different sir. And he had a lot of frustration, there's a time there where they didn't have any receivers neighbors still winning. When he teams Air. Go ahead yeah. When he first. Took we I became the starter there. The first few years remember all the sacks he had always holding the ball of this. They were often the offensive line. They fix that they got him some receivers. It went super bowl, right so it's just like what we're talking to Cleveland. He put Aaron Rodgers. Cleveland what's Mare weekend get a good quarterback here? You know that's the same same thing. Well, Serandon with good players, you know you have a good system and know how to put him in position so they can win and good things will happen and I think that's what happened with McCarthy is I just think. Aaron's vision of what should be done and he has a right for that. He's disease establish that and what Mike wants are probably two different things and they separation was inevitable. You know this kind of you said, something that triggered my thinking on our our caller caller, but our. Our listener had a question and it was about the speed of the game. And that's one of the reasons that pro football is. So deceptive, you talked about Tony Larussa being down on the field and just couldn't believe the intensity and the speed of the hits and movement. A lot of that is because guys at this level our so smooth and smoothness doesn't always translate into speed and suddenness and explosion it. It's just smoothness is like we always say as defensive backs be careful with guys that can really run because speed is quiet. Speed isn't. Pounding. The pavement in huffing and puffing and trying to run by you guys run by you. It's it's like a whisper. Of, course gone in net is part of what gets people in trouble. I think from a visual standpoint of watching the game, and if you're not careful from, you know young quarterbacks coming into the game and young players in general when they when they get to the game in there, it's just so much faster and so much smoother, and then they're used to and I think these three quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers is is a little like that. Were Aaron does better than anybody is. No plan when that's Chicago, we had some really big blow outs with them. You know and defensively, we'd always kept their numbers down. Because they knew how to plan you know. They could contain him and get to him. You can't contain Aaron Rodgers and he can't get the ball off on time. It's over, he just has that innate ability to escape and be creative and he has such a strong. Arm He hit you from anywhere on the field. So watching Games through the years look at all the big big games where he broke out through a ball up for grabs in the end zone they win you know he just yeah he's won so many big games like that. He has that extra flare or the ability improvise aside from, and I think also hurt him a little bit with these staffs. Because he has so much conferences ability that I know I'm supposed to do this on this play but I think I can get this guy you. So there may be a deviation from what they want on a play in after while that gets frustrating for coaches you know so. He he is so difficult to contain and Mahomes, and obviously is a different levels well without ability and and. And really I think. Cleveland's the same way. Now you know if they just let him, you know if they. Are Really hard in discipline and get the ball out quickly, and then after that you if you have to improvise. Yeah fine but. Aaron Rodgers doesn't go into a game thinking about improvising. Happens when things get shut now. So you know he's.

Roger Bennett (Men In Blazers) on the Return of the Premier League

"We Win Stadium you will be at home. I can promise you will feel you support. Stay safe. We are still with you and. You'll never walk alone. That was liberal F. C manager Jergen KLOPP in a message released yesterday. That will bring a tear, not just the eyes of his supporters. The dare I say anyone who cares about the most popular sports league in the world. That's right folks. After a three-month hiatus. The English Premier League is back today. Roger Bennett from men in blazers fills us in on these frantic few remaining weeks. So grab a pint and US as sub optimal tour of English soccer. I'm sorry, English football. I mean it comes. It's Wednesday. June seventeenth. This is ESPN daily. Presented by marathon. Roger! Kim's. Are you relieved? Your any skin daily and not my NFL pod, talking about your beloved quarterback Mitch Trubisky You Know God Love Mitch. trubisky is an incredible pressure to be knowing that your whole life is just destined to pan out to become the answer to a trivia question in about ten years, who was taken ahead of Deshaun Watson Patrick Mahomes. Roger Bennett is suffering bears fan. He's also the CO host of men in Blazers on the NBC. Sports Network and the men in Blazers podcast by just braced for him to end up with the green. Bay Packers, leading them on a fourth quarter drive two feet, my beloved Chicago Bears, and I can't wait for that movement. They'll probably deserve it. And we're not talking about bears football today. The wait is over the English premier league. The most Popular Sports League in the world is back after a one hundred day hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic Roger I'm sure you've been getting your fix from Bundesliga but I have to imagine the return of English. Soccer is hitting a little different for you. One hundred days feels like one hundred years to be candid. I've been staring at squirrels running up trees in the park, and feeling the adrenaline burst of a run through midfield, watching raindrops charge down my window and feeling just an incredible wing-play into play of missed from the primarily, but yes, it's back today with its global ratings I mean in Britain for much of Europe for much of the rest of the world outside of the United States, it's kind of a seismic as the NFL and the NBA rolled into with the Pantheon of heroes and villains to moments of glorious ecstasy, searing dispath fuse with dodgy haircuts snack tattoos. One hundred days off. When are going to have ninety two games scattered almost daily over the next couple of weeks. It's coming back because we love it because we miss it. It's coming back for. Hard news commercial reasons ultimately to an economic decision. It's going to come back and ghost game situation where it's fabulous. It's going to be different. The lack of an audience will have an impact on the football. We watched, but most importantly it is going to be good enough. It's GonNa. Be Great enough to connect us to a ruling global conversation and that's ultimately I think. Think we will miss about sports as our calling them. Ghost Games I hadn't heard that got left the Germans. They have a name for everything. Lay. They Call Them Guy Bela. And that is what they will be. Sam Darnold knows a thing or two about those back to English premier league, so we hit positive with most of the season done with exception of Liverpool they're. They're still to be decided. The top half of the table. Seven teams vying for five spots determine who will qualify for Champions League and Europa League which for those who don't know are the midseason European tournaments to be held next year. Roger Liverpool have clinched Champions League. Spot Manchester City has of course been banned from Champions League for Breaking Financial Fair play rules so that. That spot remains open despite city being second in the League. Right now. Arsenal wolves Chelsea Menu Lester Tottenham Sheffield all in the mix. What are you expecting to see from the top of the table? When the race for Champions League qualification, which is a bit like football's march madness, it's big tournament in which the best teams in the world. You're rail, Madrid, your boss Alana's. Para Sanjay Man's by Munich's compete all. Big English teams won't be in that for brand reasons for competitive reasons for commercial reasons and is. And completely wide open at the bottom of the table. All say English football has some Incorr- ellegation, which is if you watch game of thrones? It's a bit like the moon door. Teams get flung through that in baseball, the worst teams every year like the Orioles in the mall in which is flung out of the major leagues, the mooted, and in that place. We had the Tulsa drillers around rook. Rook Express and that is, it's a searing. It is a haunting. It is a savage palm of the global football tradition, and you have six teams at the bottom who are fighting to avoid what can be economically devastating their revenue roughly hauls flung out. The Premier League is savage for the fan base. One Minute. You are watching your team. Take to the glamorous fields, Manchester United and Arsenal the next. Round Brentford Luton Barnsley barring a miracle the Jewish using Norwich canaries will disappear, but there's five teams Aston. Villa Bouma th what furred and West Ham amongst them, two of which will go with them for the big story line. Meena is Liverpool Football Club. American owned little football. Club owned by the Boston Red SOx owners, F S J and their yearning. They're dreaming of a return to greatness that was once titletown by when I was a kid growing up in Liverpool. Just six points away from lending the title that they have dreamed of then. That is the great storyline of the season. On that note. This Sunday. The team that you root for I'm sorry. I'm getting a producer this side you support. Everton, we'll be squaring off against Liverpool. They are twenty five points clear off the other teams in the League, and there's possibility they can clinch the title at Goodison Park Against Your beloved Everton on Sunday

Historically Black Colleges' Contributions to the NFL with Dr. Derrick E. White

"On this week's program historically black colleges and universities and the NFL with Doctor Derrick white in black America in their celebration of the hundred year. It was not as historical as we would like right. I think the for better for worse college football who celebrate the One hundred fiftieth year and in conjunction with ESPN primarily. Done these series of documentaries. That kind of documenting the game so they did a great set of talking about the early game when the Ivy Leagues Dominated College Football. Right you get that kind of Astaldi. Nfl is not so much right. In their part of Wigan's law says that the integration the reintegration of the. Nfl in part is done. Because you know teams WanNa move to the West Coast Right. They WanNa play in Los Angeles And that the black community the La said no in particular forced the L. A. Don's to say if you WANNA come in you. GotTa you gotTa desegregate Your Team. So woody strode gets an opportunity to play and Kenny Washington gets a chance to try out for these teams and they make these teams in the NFL so we were talking about the kind of reintegration of of professional football as the National Football League celebrated. Its first one hundred seasons unbeknownst to many sports fans the NFL didn't have any African American players for decade from Nineteen thirty four to nineteen forty-six. There was an unspoken agreement between owners to ban African American players today. They are two African American general managers for minority head coaches and one chief operating officer for the first time the crew for sue both fifty four had a record number of minority officials of the seven on the field five for African Americans the contribution of historical black colleges and universities. Acc use to the NFL has changed the game forever undrafted by an NFL team. Paul tank younger was the first African American player from grambling State University to play in the NFL when he signed with the Los Angeles Rams in nineteen forty nine the first African American drafted in the NFL draft was jaws rooks. I running back out of Morgan state in the Eleventh Round. One hundred and twenty fifth overall by the Green Bay packers in nineteen fifty one doing super bowl fifty four week in south Florida Group of area high school athletes had an opportunity to learn about the rich history of black college football and his contributions to the NFL and Black America spoke with doctor. Derrick wide associate professor at the University of Kentucky. When I was teaching a class on sports history I found that the students knew nothing about historically black college role. They were as part of their assignment. They had researched The histories of sports history at various institutions and students had cookman in Florida. And I knew that those are really successful. Athletic programs and students came back with nothing. And so I've you know I just thought chalked up. Initially students being students that they just didn't do enough but when we both begin system. I realized there was a huge gap in the scholarship. And there's a Lotta work on sports. History is a lot of work on college sports especially college football but there was very little nearly nothing on historically black colleges And so at the time I was at Florida Atlantic in so I was like Bam. You is like right up the road. Well you know eight hours away from my house but I and I knew Jay. Gator was dominant. I'd heard these stories from my uncles and I knew he was a fantastic program so I did a research trip and I went up there and they have the archivists there. And the the library's at up in Florida were amazing and they gave me these materials in there. All these letters documents and so I had budgets and letters of professional teams and I begin to understand how he organized his football program because the issue is discussed our Pamela Day. That there wasn't a lot of research money. A lot of research recruiting money not money budgets. Within Coach Gate. There was the ad coach basketball at one point. And those things. I thought those kinds of stories and that the greatness that the success that he was able to produce was Willie Gallimore Kim. Rowley Bob Hayes. I wanted to understand how that was done. I didn't WANNA chalk it up to that. These were just natural athletes that there was something being done happening on these institutions in some coaches Were better than others and so I wanted to tell that story talk about. Integration Immigration had a positive effect but it also had a devastating effect on also African Americans going to the NFL right so an integration was boom for professional football. Right then you know one of the reasons that Jake was so able to be so successful especially early on in the forties and early fifties that many of his former players gather degrees and became teachers in the high schools. All across the State of Florida and North Georgia. And so he would. They would just send him letters. Like hey coach gay. Got This really. Good kid this Willie Gallimore guys pretty good right. Like this is how he got recruiting information was from his former players but those players were talented but there was no professional football opportunities and so when those opportunities really begin to open up a specially after nineteen sixty when the AFL comes in then professional football now creates a new opportunity for black colleges in small colleges in general and so that becomes this boom and on the backside that the course the civil rights movement is happening at this exact same time right so brown. V Board of Education. This is entire push to desegregate schools Whether the high school level colleges etc and so so many ways why colleges Kinda caught between their own. Their success right. They're producing these great players in the NFL. Minium all pros as we talked about earlier. Thirty two or in the NFL Hall of fame at the same time. There are new opportunities at Florida. Miami or Georgia and that these schools especially in the deep south are slowly trying to recruit them when you look back at the history of ACC using his contribution to to the NFL. I found it amazing and the one hundred year the League. There's very little that has been articulated about a SPEC- US or the early African American players and they and their celebration of the hundredth year. It was not as historical as we would like right. I think the you know for better for Worse College Football who celebrated his Hundred Fiftieth Year and in conjunction with ESPN primarily. Done these series of documentaries that kind of documenting the game so they did a great set of documentaries talking about the early game when the Ivy League dominated college football. New Rams logo and colors finally unveiled for all to see

"Yesterday we saw. What was it two weeks ago a month ago. Something like that. A leaked tap that we thought might be. The Rams New logo thankfully what we saw is not the rams new logo. They did release their new logo. Yesterday I think most people have probably seen it but what it is is it's a white. La and coming out of the top of the A. is a much more modernized. Stylized Ram horned the kind of wraps through the middle of the A A and it it. It's Vodka Tive of what we've seen in the past with the rams horns but it is definitely a new look. We've seen a much more stylized RAM head with the yellow the gold horns wrapped around and much more stylized skull. The rapid stuff. What did you guys make the Rams New Logo? What a show. Okay that says a lot to get all that actually. I don't like it me personally. But that's just me. I don't have to weird I don't have to be associated with it at that level I talked to the original logo. The one that they came back to La with the one that they left with I'm just not when it comes to certain iconic franchises. I try to keep everything the same you know in in it just. I don't know it looks like it will be overly critical. It just doesn't doesn't hold against the old one let's put it that way Or you know you and I travel. We talk when something was leaked. And I told you in reminded me of that World Team Tennis Organization as an Orange County. Call the breakers moving on the. Yeah there for second. I'm GonNa you know it's funny so I thought I'm going to be honest. I Wanna I sound like Oh okay the more I look at it. The more uncomfortable with it and the more it has grown on me. I didn't love it at first. I like the RAM head. I liked to. It's the the ran had itself. I think is very very cool. The RAM head. I think is something that you're GonNa see on a lot of hats and t shirts and things like that. I think that looks pretty slick. What more does not be on the side of the helmet though? That's why I think I need to see the uniform to see because I don't need it saying L. A. With the Ra- I don't need no much going on RAM head and I don't eat L. A. Much. I think the helmet should be the horns. We'll see the uniforms are going to come later. But I do think when we see the uniforms. That'll kind of all bring together. I don't like the La with the Hornets because quite honestly the horn the way that stylized it looks a little bit like the chargers lightning bolt which I don't think you want it to look like but generally speaking I think when it all comes together if that RAM head is prominent. If that's kind of thing that we go with more and more often and as long as the the helmet stays relatively the same. I think he's going to work out pretty well. Why do you need to change though you know you? Moving into a new stadium to Dallas. Cowboys didn't change. They moved into a new stadium right. I mean when you when you look at some of the. I can't conic franchises. That are out there. Yeah they altered their logos but the New England patriots was not an iconic franchises prior to Tom Brady and Bill Belichick surival. They've gone to the super bowl super bowls. They lost both of them. They had the Patriots Guy with the what was it. Three point stance guy. Was it three point. Three point stance guy but it's the New England patriots where the Green Bay packers on the other hand. That's been the same got the G. That thing has been like that as long as I remember. Well there are some certainly have stayed the same for ever and in most of the other ones though if we're being honest change fairly frequently but they do change and they get up dated and they get modernized and I think this is the way that the rams are doing it and if you are moving into a new stadium it does feel like the right time to do it. I love the colors that they picked. I know that they're described it. You know you look at it right now. And it's a soul and rams royal or the two colors that they're using and but the colors are right liked it. That gold has gone. I like the blue and the yellow. I think the colors are good will see with uniforms. Look like but the more I look at the more it is grown on me is in particular the rams at the colors. I like the rams old colors. 'cause I can envision Air Dixon running in that in in you know Vince for gown will drop them back and planning at Coliseum or playing in Anaheim stadium so the colors. I like that. They really didn't change them. I mean that's basically the throwbacks. If you want to say that are so. We'll talk to the Fed. I'm just curious about the fit. I'm just curious about the actual fit of the clothes like to me if the fit of the clothes. Nice and the fabric and materials that is made with. It's nice that will overcome any disappointed. You may have with the logo. Our where some gear? If it looks right. It's it's fitness right but if it doesn't fit right and I don't like the logo then. I got nowhere to

What could TE Austin Hooper bring to Packers offense?

"Was a report from. I think it was robbed a mosque. Who covers the Green Bay packers and he made you know at least the packers are aware that they need more pask actors? They reportedly planned to add two of them via free agency and the draft. And you can certainly get a bunch. But I'm not sure that the guy that he talked he said they're played into. Target Austin Hooper. I'm not sure that's what Aaron Rodgers really needs. I would rather see somebody more explosive. I don't know what you think about that but either released Jimmy Graham who's just Zaslov signing for them. I would note that Matlin. Flair was the Falcons quarterbacks coach when Austin who was a rookie in two thousand sixteen in Atlanta But Yeah I. I don't know I'm not sure awesome. Hooper is exactly what fixes. What's wrong with Green Bay right now? Which is clear. It's Green Bay at margin only feels comfortable throwing to Davante Adams. Yeah I think they're awesome. Hooper would be fine signing You give the packers a solid possession tight end just really reliable. Almost eighty percent career catch. Ray Can block enough from a dynasty standpoint. He would block J Sternberg who drafted in the third round. This past year in. I mean I really liked him coming at a at a Texas. A&m But you know. Yeah he he would be a big roadblock in the way of j Sternberg. I'm completely with you. Though in Syria I mean I. I think that they should sign two guys. I mean I think that Al Having Allen Lazard as your number two option. The passing game isn't good enough and I think that even if they signed someone like Austin Hooper. I think should go robby Anderson. You know I think that Robbie Anderson Opposite Davante Adams would give them Just a completely different dynamic in their passing game. I think that they need some any they I think they need an explosive field stretcher. And Yeah if I was. I would focus on a guy like Robin Anderson. I mean mark has vowed is scant laying in theory had the skill set to be that guy but he just did not take a second year. Yeah there were some reports from Our friend Matthew Berry had noted that era jittery like Salazar staff-related Allen. So I think they're going to add a wide receiver for sure. But for now I would consider Allen Lazard the front runner for the number two wide receiver job. Assuming they don't add anybody which then was certainly

"Matt Mimics bengals. Chalk talk here on. Orange and black insider Today I got a great guest Retired director of research and development for the Green Bay packers. Mike Ayers. How're you doing today? Masseurs doing fantastic Matt. All right. Great I really appreciate you coming on First off. I'm ready to ask for the abbreviated version because I'm sure director research and development for an NFL team You involves a lot but Just a real quick break down what What type of work were you doing for the packers On on an everyday basis well essentially my job was to incorporate a scientific viewpoint into football operations and what that entailed is just simply analyzing data trying to find out if there any significant trends in the information. And then using that and getting that information into the hands of our decision makers in whatever context and you'll play callers Scouts coaches players. Whatever so that essentially essentially it would improve the quality of the decisions they made to help. Our organization creates success. All right and so I think right now. We're kind of in a in a big phase kind of the dawn of analytics in the NFL But analysts become a becoming a much. More I don't want to see how much bigger part of the NFL. Because I think it's always been pretty big part of the NFL. But I think it's a lot more out there I think. More people are aware of it and And can kind of be a little bit more critical decisions based on research out there and known From from From different avenues different organizations. That are out there so You're you're kind of on the on the forefront of that and the NFL before the rest of us even even with that was they want him getting from you. That's correct basically. I was hired by the Vikings back in one thousand nine hundred eighty five to be a director of research and development and again. I was actually the third person that the vikings hired I had to predecessor says. He came into the building in the early eighties. I doing them in the mid eighty and you know analytics in one form or another has been around a long time simply because it had different names you know obviously research director and even when I was a player you know way back in the seventies we always talked about tendencies and probabilities and game plan. You know you could always kind of play a hunch if you watch a lot and I'm old enough to where I could even say when you're watching film rather than watching video but you would see things you know. And it's the most fundamental thing in human behavior that is whatever creates success is generally going to be replicated in future situations. So you know. Football's a great team to analyze. Because it's an here's great soundbite. Point football is a game of dependent decisions in other words almost every decision. That's made the course of a game or in the course of a draft choice or whatever he essentially is triggered by events that preceded. So if you can identify the chain you can probably often predict what's going to occur next and it works out real. Well it's a matter of fact there's only one true independent decision in entire on TV. Guess what it is because it's the only time yeah acquaintance from the time. The coin is tossed every decision following. That is actually a dependent decision and we used to analyze coin tosses. Believe it or not because we were talking you know some teams wanted a for some teams want to take the ball It varies whether your home or on the road at varies by environmental situations social so again you know which would analytics really is. It's a new word that basically describes the old word tendencies improbability. All you're trying to do is use. What's occurred previously to try to help you. Determine what's going to occur next absolutely and anybody. Anybody coach into any levels Been breaking down tendencies for years so now the the packers are are noted And for for being similar to the Bengals In the way they approach team building And you know being about building through the draft and drafting players Who you know the ultimate look to to bring in for a second contract So that is something that when the Bengals have had some bad years and You know in pets and bad draft which is you know obviously related there People have been critical of Can you talk a little bit about You know what? The connection is between the draft creativity in in trades In in overall process of of how to build a team sure well again when I was with the packers. We are a very much more so even than they are now very college draft. Reliant team and our reasoning for that was primarily to full number one. We fell more than anything. We're in the business of trying to create a culture and the best way to create a culture is to try to create stability and the best way to create stability is with the college draft because he essentially when you draft player or you sign a college free agent essentially retained the rights on that player for the first four years of their career. Or you have the option for the first five years if it's a first round draft pick so it gives you time to essentially develop talent and then the second reason why it becomes such a good thing is number one you want to create a culture that having the same players there regularly but secondly it's also a very economical way to build a team because again you retain the players players in their initial contract and even anytime soon their second contract. Are you know fairly reasonably priced relative to the CAP? The problem is when you go into unrestricted free agency. In Pro Free Agency is you're bidding against usually a nucleus of maybe a dozen other teams. That are trying to acquire the same player. And so you're subject to the laws of supply and demand it drives the salary upwards that you can use pro free agency to solve a need on your roster but the problem is almost always going to wind up paying more than if you were able to draft and develop to try to fill the same need and so it's just it just made economic sense because it allows you greater flexibility to resign. The players drafted if you got the original guys and you know you guessed right and signed him to their second contract. Basically you've created even more stability within your franchise and we felt. It was just the best way to build a team. We occasionally went into pro free agency to feel you know glaring immediate needs and the packers have gotten more aggressive in the last couple of years but I really believe the heart of it. All is the culture you create your locker room and the best way to create stability and culture is with the college draft. What do you say that You know from a front office standpoint you particularly the GM To to build a team like that get to have a lot of. Let's see honesty like being honest with yourself in your real you know truthful evaluation like Hey I want this guy to be successful. I want to think that we made the right choice in this guy And then two people to look at a guy for years later and be like no. This isn't a guy were given a second contract to you. I mean I is that something to kind of put Your Eagles Ego aside a little bit Face the facts unless things well. Honesty is a huge part of success. Probably in any organization. 'cause you you know you need to essentially keep your finger on the pulse of reality and I agree. I mean one of the things that we did as part of our culture is we had a relatively relatively the other NFL teams. You're in a year out. We were one of the youngest teams in the League in terms of the players on our roster and we really believed heavily in not just the draft but college free agents because one of the things that we did to help recruit college free agents to the packers is simply show them the numbers on our roster and that is every year we felt we were GONNA wind up keeping four or five college free agents guys that never got drafted but we're going to seriously evaluate and in some cases. We kept them instead of keeping draft choices. Because at the end of the day the culture we wanted to create is the best fifty three players are on your football team and then even to a degree transcends positions because we did not position differentiate our roster. We had years where we kept three fullbacks. We had a year where we kept five tight ends because essentially we were trying to fill all the rules to win a game and we felt like keeping those people. It simply gave us the best chance to win. Yeah I think there's probably divisions in the NFL right now that don't have three fullbacks but but again talking back now going to. I think it was the two thousand I believe. Two thousand six roster that might have had the threefold exponential. Yeah yeah the Larry Centers and Brian Mitchell type survived but you're not finding very many Moose. Johnston high everything is trend. Right it absence lawyer and the new trend based on how the forty niners used the fullback position is all of a sudden. It may come into a renaissance and people decide. Yeah your fullback probably would do more good on a roster than maybe a fourth died Internet even a third time. Yeah absolutely so now getting into the draft. Obviously that's the thing that's most pressing on people's minds right now and Win How how exactly do you put together a draft board and again? I know we're not GONNA be able to get into all the details today but you know kind of what the basic format and set up a of a of a draft for sure well draft board essentially is a table or a matrix that simply consists of columns and rows right and in the case of our draft board. It consisted of eight large roles where each will contain multiple players or could potentially contain multiple players and there was a role for each round of the draft and then there was a role for college free agents that we felt had a chance to make our roster and could fit into our system so role one is round one right and then essentially the most upper tier players in the entire draft class. Sit at the very top of the role and that was devoted to guys capable of controlling a game or projected to become very very dominant players. And then you know. It fell into line behind them then. There was a clear demarcation of players that were draftable in round two and this was a consensus greed based on the entire personnel and coaching staff and medical staff to. I don't WanNa undersell them because you see clearly. They durability becomes a huge factor in all this as.

Super Bowl Bound: 49ers and Chiefs

"Did bill. We made it to the Super Bowl. You me and Jimmy Garoppolo. I feel I I may have sweat more watching the NFC championship game. That Jimmy Garoppolo actually swept playing being in the NFC championship game. Bill Barnwell is a senior football writer at ESPN and the host of the bill. Barnwell show so after two weeks Of Extremely Exciting Football Championship weekend did not disappoint niners and chiefs fans disappointed pretty much everyone else or at least anyone who wanted close close games both favorites dominated so let's start with the most dominant team the San Francisco Forty niners bill win the niners packers met earlier earlier. This season. Aaron Rodgers had one of the worst games of his career threw for one hundred and four yards. Tonight he threw for three hundred twenty six yards But the result wasn't much better. Why is that okay? So the first time these two teams played the niners won with an absolutely dominant. Pash Josh Rush Nick. Bosa and his teammates knocked down Aaron Rodgers ten times on Sunday. The only knockdown Aaron Rogers twice and while they did hold them without a first down conversion in the first half both of those games the packers movable pretty consistently I should say after after halftime instead the forty niners otherworldly in a different way on Sunday they ran the ball forty two times for two hundred eighty five yards and four. We're touchdowns averaging nearly seven yards per carry to put that in context. ESPN has a stat called expected. Points with measures how each play impacts team's James Chances of scoring on a given the forty niners racked up the second most rushing. EPA for any team in a game this season and and the most for any single team in a playoff game over the last decade just narrowly beating out the prior record holder. which just happened to be the forty niners? Twenty wanting twelve playoff win over. The Green Bay Packers would Colin Kaepernick. Ran For one hundred. Eighty one rushing yards. So they're leading rusher tonight. I was not Colin Kaepernick. It was re Moster who ran for two hundred and twenty yards by himself. were good has hat trick the first half of the NFC championship game deserves a hat trick of field grade baby bill. Will I am guessing. A decent amount of football fans hadn't heard Ramos before tonight. Okay so you mustard is basically it accident accident in football terms but it's such a cool story so the Shanahan offense has a history of unearthing obscure running back and turning them into stars going back to Mike Shanahan stays in Denver but even among those backs most particularly remarkable case. Liners did everything they could to find a different running back over the past a couple of years. They hand picked a runner who they traded up to nab in the two thousand seventeen draft never played a game for the team. They signed Jerick McKinnon Torres. ACL He's collected more than and twenty one million dollars for the niners without ever playing a single game for the team. This offseason they added. Kevin Coleman from the Falcons who suffered an injury in the first half and that opened up the door from western and most of its story is easy to root for. You heard him talk about it. After the biggest game of his life on Sunday crazy that I've been on seven. Different teams actually still have cut dates every before every game a look at the dates when I got cut not everybody can can deal. Would that type of stressing the pain and agony I went through. I kept the faith to not only myself but whoever gave me the opportunity is organization has done a great job most are made the niners roster as a special teamer at first but after he looked good in limited time last season they gave him a three year extension after playing. Well this season most are just became the first running back. NFL history to top two hundred rushing yards and scored four rushing touchdowns in a single game. That's never happened in the playoffs playoffs before pretty good for a guy who was really an afterthought until the two thousand eighteen season. What's just remarkable? Bill is those two hundred twenty rushing yards. Were nearly three times as many yards as Garoppolo the night as quarterback past for which made for a remarkable stat sheet. There was a point in this football game where according to ESPN stats and Info. Jimmy went ninety four minutes in real time without attempting a pass so I have to ask going into the Super Bowl. Is that a sustainable offensive approach. I mean we all had that friend and in our twenties who got by succeeded solely because they were good looking right now that friend is Jimmy. Garoppolo I mean in the divisional round. He barely through through the football in the conference championship game. He barely through the football. We saw a similar situation with Ryan. Tannehill right over the first two weeks of his post. The season and when Tennessee ran into an offensive juggernaut with the chiefs their offense with Danny Hillis not able to accelerate into a higher gear. Now of course Garoppolo is the one who has to face the chiefs unless the forty niners can shut down the Kansas City. Passing game with their pass rush which isn't out of the question they're going to need to throw the football more quite a bit more. We've seen the niners succeed in games or Garoppolo and to throw the ball at ton with the Saints Win. Maybe as a notable for example but since Garoppolo through that interception against the Vikings in the divisional round cow Shanahan has called seventy one runs against just twelve passes passes even if the niners do end up throwing the ball effectively against the chiefs. It's clear that Shanahan doesn't WANNA put the game on Garoppolo shoulders unless absolutely necessary and that in itself is telling throughout the game bill packers fans were frustrated. Understand police and they seem to be taking out some of their wrath on the coaches arguing. They should have devised better game. Plans to both run the ball more and stop the run and do you think there's anything that Matt Leflore or the Packers Defensive Coordinator Mike Patton could have done differently in this game. Yeah I think so I think to be fair. Shanahan might just ask pedants number. It just felt like you is several steps ahead of the packers defensive coordinator and when pen and tried to adjust it just never seemed to catch up and work there. There was one play I think in the second quarter was a microcosm of everything that went wrong for the packers in this game. They came out in their nickle package with five defensive backs against the forty niners base. He's too back offense which created the size mismatch. The niners pitched the Baltimore and not only did he have a huge hole but he made both safeties with on their tackle attempts downfield win for about thirty yards. pedants struggled to put his players in positions where they could succeed and meanwhile leflore didn't coach like a guy who was a seven point underdog. The packers punted. I believe on their first drive on fourth and one from the fifty yard line. We know the packers are enormously more effective offense with Aaron Aaron Jones on the field but the floor still Jamal Williams their backup running back. Play over thirty percent of the offensive snaps and he didn't really take advantage of move the niners movement Richard Sherman. That was really fascinating during the regular season for the niners and during the vast majority of his time in Seattle Sherman signed up for almost every every snap asked the left cornerback. Defense playing against the right side of the offense. The niners started the game on Sunday. Which chairman on the opposite side of the field on the right side of the defense on the left side of the offense against devante items and while Sharon didn't travel to the left side very frequently? He did do it a few times during the first half. The second half Adams was able to be isolated Sherman over the top for a huge play downfield. I think that played about half of his snaps on either side of the field. I would have liked to have seen for trying to isolate him against German a little more often and take his chances with

"The Green Bay Packers got it done on the road in a place that another team hasn't won all season division one two or three seed in the NFC and with a lost the Vikings would be the number six winds down right to the Green Bay Packers see both teams come across the field hard football game but the Packers were in control of this one folks and they were in control from the word go six twenty W. T. M. J. Joe Tessitore on ESPN Packers NFC north champs first division title since twenty sixteen twenty three to ten over the Minnesota Vikings Aaron Rodgers postgame got frustrated when these kind of games is a playoff style games obviously we're both going playoffs to be back on top of the north after a couple years being down feels great to win in the stadium you know we're a couple years ago I was jeered leaving the field after breaking my collarbone feels pretty good our defense definitely if they had it out there tonight a big kudos to them I think they gave up like a hundred and thirty eight dollars total so anytime you do that you're supposed to win again so they could also them in hope to keep it going so everybody keeps going that was aren Jones following Erin Rogers and Jones was the story twenty three carries hundred and fifty four yards and two touchdowns he leads the league with nineteen touchdowns on the ground in the Vikings meantime ran for fifty seven total yours as a teen needless to say Matt low floor and Mike Zimmer had different perspectives on the running game post game is electric any time he touches the ball you go the distance he's got that next level speed when he gets that second level he can take the distance and he's been so valuable and all really in all three phases in terms of out of the backfield as a receiver and in pass protection he's done a great job all season long as well so he's a pretty personal back and we're lucky that I still have a lot of faith in in backs play tonight you know we didn't we didn't move the ball as effective as we wanted to and so you know that's why the time of possession was what it was and so we'll be alright yeah so this is what you have for the Packers at twelve and three season the defense is been stellar and they wore on Monday as well as a Darius mid led the way three and a half sacks part of his seven tackle night five of those tackles for loss Green Bay still in play for the top overall seed in conference they win the regular season finale in Detroit in San Francisco loses that Seattle the Packers earned that topsy no home field throughout the NFC playoffs on that subject Ryan Clark on SportsCenter with as VP no it's huge for this team because they're seventy one at home and that loss is early on in the season for the Philadelphia Eagles they are a better team there this defense is better there but more importantly they protect Aaron Rodgers and Aaron Rodgers has been a better quarterback at home the head is on the road and so you want to make people come to Lambeau I don't get me wrong Scott it's not because Lambo is this big scary place in and people can't win there no one was the plan whether it's because the Green Bay Packers don't lay eggs there they don't get it taken out to the woods **** area so if you're the Packers you hope that the Seattle Seahawks we both spoke about as the most viable eleven when seen we've seen Conor along with this Packers the you have to hope they find a way they be small bring some energy.

I mean we have that story Jesse Small Case we've got Michelle Obama being nominated for for her grabbing a lot of news coming out from the I mean obviously Michelle and Barack don't live nasty. That's the old dirty Chicago anymore but hope not the right way to glitzy and literally for that just outside of Balsam Hill anyway Now listen so Michelle has been nominated for a Grammy Award. You love it immediately. She's talking about race as always. Everything's about raise content to remain main the margins of Princeton's larger social scene Blob was small but tight. And wow is this remedy I mean are you feeling it. She's reading like I've never heard read. We threw parties danced half the night. Not Unlike the long communal meals my family's to have around the table at southside house. How Fun I imagine that? The administrators at Princeton didn't love the fact that students of colored largely stuck together boy. Why was that hope? was that all of us would mingle in heterogeneous harmony. But you do need the quality of student life across the board. It's a worthy goal right. I understand that when it comes to campus diversity goal get this though ideal would eat something resembling. Are you kidding. Me still outnumber them do you know. Here's another fact. They still outnumber them in the general population as well Nazih racist by about five to one so i. I don't know why there'd be more whites than blacks. Well I'm in your college like Michelle Obama. I personally don't see color. So I know if whites outnumber blacks on this campus. Yeah well she does boy. She takes note of that every day. Percents what a dumb observation. That whites outnumber minorities will still still. Yeah 'cause worse still more. Numerous than minorities burden simulation is put largely early on the shoulders of minority. Students is talking about who expects no. Shouldn't you just do it naturally. Whites or or blacks or Hispanics Sir. Whoever you just naturally come together or you don't like the like the Administrative Administration thought that you would just come together on campus and mingle with other other students but no but no no no and whose? Whose fault is that right? Is that the white students who largely outnumber tip number angry. That that that that there's not a separation I mean. Isn't that what we fought against for fifty and they also uh on the debate the other night when when Cory Booker is complaining that Oh white moving into black neighborhoods and it's screwing up the culture and everything then in right. Then he complains about raising the housing. We were supposed to get together man right. No it's unbelievable stuff. It's really unbelievable. But but it's an incredible reading and she's GonNa win the grammy why I listened to some of it. There was there's one point when she says I can't elect Michelle but would she reads the word preface. I mean she was the grammy really. Yeah but it's amazing Wow Wow this. Is a special preface preface. A good word in read it. Well did she. Oh Yes oh well well yeah incredibly. "I think they have issues even with him. I think it's kind of been absolutely do because he's the only guy they have yeah in like I mean against Philli. They destroyed them in through the air but it's because phillies secondary's garbage but like the first three weeks you know we are Kinda like this. Packers offenses awful you know like they couldn't move the football because it's almost like you take Davante Adams away. They can't run the football whatsoever. Aaron Jones is averaging three and a half yards per carry combined through the last two or three games. I want to say it's just they can't run the football. They're they're really only option of moving. The football is through the air to Davante Adams or Aaron Rodgers running. If you take devante Adams out it's just I don't even know where to begin but I don't know I mean again. It's just for whatever reason Aaron Rodgers and at and T. stadium is a tough tough with quarterback to defend the one way to defend it is to get pressure on him but without giving him running lanes to escape from and that's all I wanNA talk about next. You Got Robert Quinn. You've got me Collins. You've got markets Lawrence. You're getting Antoine Woods back who isn't known for his pass rush but he is a clock a clog up in that defense align. The packers also have two very good tackles and Brian Blaga and David Backyard. Do you think the cowboys pass rush can have a game similar to what they had last last week against the saints or do you think they'll be a little bit more quiet throughout this game. I would be lying if I didn't say hey that I'm GONNA be watching David Yari against Oh wow Robert Robert Quinn. Why couldn't I think of his name I'm going to be watching that the entire game. I don't care about anything else on defense whatsoever he he really impressed me last week and David Bahktiar is probably the best left tackle in the NFL at this point consistently insistently. I mean obviously you guys like tyran. Smith who is is definitely up there but with the back injuries you can't really count on all all of the time to be that elite level not elite butcher best player in the position so I'm really interested to see what happens on the left side of that offense it's of line and then on the right side like you said they do add Balogh who is injured somewhat in this game so I am interested to see if they help out on that side quite a bit and still give him a double team help against demarcus Lawrence in this game on the interior on that. I'm really excited to see is is Maliki Collins going to be able to be left guard Elton Jenkins who is played really well for them so far he was a really good player coming out as a rookie cookie and then guys like Corey Lansley and Billy Turner. That's where you've got to make your money if you're going to be mulling collins so we'll see what happens I mean hopefully he's able to get a little bit of interior pressure because that is what kills good quarterbacks. Good quarterbacks can take care of pressure off of the edge by miss by escaping the the way that the position works when you're an ED's rusher you have escape routes. I mean you're able either if you go up. Er you're able to step up and step through as a quarterback or if you come down hill something intact Prescott has done really well in his first couple years as a quarterback is spin out of those pressures rushers. There's you have that ability to do that. You know where there's nowhere to go. If you get pressure up the middle and Aaron Rodgers literally probably the most yeah he's Houdini Yep Yep like he like you'll have any it's not even like the players to where you know. You're hitting your you're hitting him and then Asia spins out like you see Dak and Carson Wentz even make some of those places where God's got them wrapped up and he just spends out of it but you like you close does the pocket and you see him start dropping his eyes and like panicking and then he just bought a twenty five yard gain and you're like how does it even happen. Mike doesn't make any sense but that's that's one thing. They're going to have to be very very aware of in this game is not leaving him run lanes to get out of when they do bring pressure on third downs and you you have those you know edge guys. The Robber Quinn's who who rush of field a lot. He's gotTa you know they have to be aware that Robert Quinn rush plan is to get upfield and when was speed well that normally only leaves a little bit of a gap right there in the you know the be gaps on on the other side of the guard so you know that's just an issue that they are going to have to either you know make sure you have a spy on them. I don't know how you want to defend that but that's something that they're going to have to look at doing all right. We got to wrap this thing up. We're going to go through. We're going to give our predictions predictions. We're going to give her x factor players for this game. I we're GONNA start with Coles since he couldn't join us. He texted us it it in Kohl's prediction for this Sunday game cowboys cowboys packers at Mt. At and T. stadium he has the cowboys winning twenty three to twenty. He said he thinks that offense gets things going again and Dacca's has announced back game. The defense gets a big stop near the end of the game to secure the win. Don't know maternity unit now. What are you have is your prediction? Who Do you have is your x-factor and you have any big plays in this game that you think kind of turn the outcome so I have issues with this game because because I do think the cowboys should be able to run the football well against them? It's the receivers now I would. I love to be able to do this podcast on Thursday Friday and know a little bit more about Michael Gallup's health because I do believe that that is a huge huge aged deciding factor in halas games going to shake out in the passing game specifically but I think I'm going to have to go with a the lower scoring game in this one comparatively to what I've seen happening throughout the year so far I think it's going to be twenty two seventeen and I think that the Green Bay packers are going to be the cowboys this week in Jerry World World now. I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing my hope is that the packers packers if the cowboys don't get home field advantage in the NFC that the packers do because I think at Lambeau in Lambo in December in a one to matchup hopefully the cowboys are going to be able to impose their will in the running game and they will not not be able to throw the football against the cowboys. I would rather face them inland low in December men at home because I think our runs a rushing attack attack is that much better than what they're able to give us so packers win this game and I don't necessarily think that that's a bad thing interesting. Take I know super on fake but that's how I feel. I hope the cowboys went ever game no for sure I think the cowboys won this one thirty twenty six. I think the offense gets back on track. I think that they realize and I think it's going to be Jerry Jones driven. I think think Jerry is GONNA put his foot down and go. We're not turning to Scotland a hand to lose this season like we've done in the past. We are going to live and die by the pass. I don't care if it says we need to run. We're going to be smart but if we're not going to check in and out Iran's we are going to be an aggressive down the field passing attack weekend and week out. I think that that is going to be Jerry. Jones driven thing here. I think Jerry likes the offense he likes talk about how new and improved this offense look and I think he was very very disappointed in the performance from his offense last week and I think that's going to change. I think the cowboys thirty to twenty six on my ex factor factor player is going to be Xavier Woods. I think he comes through with his first interception of the game. Rogers has had a tendency to kind of turn. The ball turnovers turnovers are up by a lot but but he's thrown the ball to the defense more than he has in previous years. I think is gonNA come up with with with multiple turnovers. I think he's going to have an interception and then a fourth fumble as well on Aaron Rodgers and I think that's going to be different difference in the game. It's the cowboys capitalizing on those turnovers. He's having a good passing attack and being able to run the football a little bit as well. I think it's going to be a similar game to what the the packers did last week with philly where it was close on throughout most of the game and then the cowboys running attack just eventually takes over in the fourth quarter as much as that pains me to say I think that it could be a a situation where they are efficient on the ground and they do move the ball with these in that it that it makes sense for him to run the football so Kohl's cowboys winning. I got the cowboys won and got the cowboys loosen then but with a with a with a positive out spin on it. I guess you could say because he thinks that's the good stuff that's right well. That's all we got offer tonight. Guys thanks for hanging out with this. We're talking the star as always we will be back next week to talk about the cowboys game against the packers and then prepare you for the New York jets in week six. We are talking to star. I'm connor lives on thought Miller. We were all Coal Patterson earlier hosted by blowing the boys. Thank.

"NFL draft at Daunton be Miller color and act coal l Patterson. We are talking star Pie cashing. We're here to talk Dallas Cowboys Football. Do you guys that day. The cowboys are coming off a tough twelve ten loss. The New Orleans Saints on the road last Sunday. We're going to touch on that a little bit first before we get into the cowboys a week five game against the Green Bay packers. It's coming up this Sunday it as well but first we want to talk a little bit about the cowboys loss to the saints we're just GonNa go through each position group and give a grade on how those guys did give a brief description of why we gave that great some of the things you'd like some things we didn't like our. We're GONNA try to move on from this game as quickly as easily as possible but we do WanNa touch on a little bit before we get to that guys how y'all doing tonight pretty. Well can't complain yeah. I mean I'm trolling. Chicago Bears Fan right now so I'm I'm having on a really good time time. That's gotta be it's gotTa be a lot of fun modifying their guys get into this and try to move on quickly. The painful is less painful as possible but we gotta talk about this. One cowboys dropped Sunday night football game last week against the saints twelve ten loss loss good team and a tough loss and we want to talk about it again. We're going to go through each position group. We're GONNA talk about how we're going to give great and talk about why we give that great. I'm going to start off with the quarterback position Dak Prescott Cole. How would you grade his performance in that game? Give me an eighth grade A. B. and greet f being absolutely terrible and why why you gave that great yeah I would just I think I'll go with his C- for Dako on Anapa boy. I think I'm GonNa go a guy just because he really do anything terrible. You can't give him a worst grade but he didn't do anything amazing in either not all on him. Somebody aren't him missing. It's called but not all of it is on him so I think just right in the middle. It was an average average game for him. He always a good things better yet that touchdown. Maybe the outlook changes maybe some place here go your way within rollicking. We're talking about drastically different game by just go at the We've seen play battery sending play worse but Sunday night he I guess he he made that really really good. Throw unknowable strive to Randall Cobb but other than that there was one playwright wow that was a really good play in like I said the same defended them very very impressively new sometimes. You can't really do anything about not that size give him a week four dot mortgage your grade on the cowboys quarterback and they're getting to the passing game but just specifically typically the quarterback yes so I mean I think I'm GonNa give him as well. maybe a C plus. There were a couple of things in this the game especially against pressure that I really did like a but for me. The some of the mistakes aches that he made cost the team in a big way now this lawsuit this loss over all is definitely not dot Prescott Fault never definitely definitely other issues with it but he did. He is one of the biggest reasons why there were so many I down runs because they were getting looks where he you're always given a run play in a pass play when you come in and he was getting looks to go run on first astound. We just need to get oil on analytics and once we do that then we'll be good to go. We'll be throwing seventy percent of the time downing. I hate to be that guy but I'm GONNA have to go with the C. Two so we're going to see across the board like you guys said you know I think you could point out three to four throws in that game and go while those there's some of the better throws that we've seen from him so far this year in which you can say an MVP candidate year and then there's three or four poster that game we go man if he makes that play a few changes to call if he does this and that then it's probably a different outcome of game but again like what do you guys said. I can't remember who said it but some of that's on him. Am some that's on the scheme the play calling and and it's something that they're going to have to improve going forward. I'M GONNA turn to the running back group now. Tony Pollard only saw who snaps so it's pretty much zeke Elliott grade. I'M GONNA I'M GONNA HAVE TO GIVE IT A. I'M GONNA have to give it a B minus. I thought the running back the position couldn't have done much more to help your grade. The blocking was a very good and that's something we'll get through here in a little bit but I think you know Kinda kind of got what was there maybe could have broken a few tackles here and there but there wasn't a whole lot of room to run didn't give him a whole lot of opportunities to break those tackles. I I think he caught every target to him to really nice one handed catch for for check downs. did good and pass protection so hard to knock the running back back when the holes weren't there and I think that this whole this whole grade this argument can be brought back to a lot of what we talked about this off season when we talked about paying Zeke Elliott where the offense align doesn't block good Zeke Elliott isn't going to look at if often salon blocks good Ezekiel. It's GonNa look great and that's why we were paying a running back that high-dollar because it is is very very dependent on the People Blocking Forum but Dalton. I'll ask you the same question what was your grade for Zeke Elliot and the cowboys running game Ezekiel Elliott and the cowboys running game get a d. for me and like you said it's not his fault but before I have get the twitches and get a you're paying them ninety million dollars. You're paying fifty guaranteed. I mean are is you just getting back into shape into football shape. Are we going to see an elite Dot Doc Prescott area type Prescott an elite Ezekiel Elliott at some point this year or is who he is now is he who despite being close to two hundred and thirty eighty pounds and being the fourth overall pick has broken to tackles this year yes zeke Elliott has to has has elite elite vision. He is great when it comes to running wide zone inside zone. He's able to find creases in blocking schemes and is able to get yards. He's able to fall forward. Please not nearly dynamic enough to be paying him ninety million dollars now with my issue with the entire time so listen if our elite running running back isn't elite in his production. I'm going to give him a bad grade even if it wasn't all his fault because guess what running back is dependent position position he needs good offensive line play to be productive and they didn't block well so he didn't play well. That's all there is to it Coleman. Ask you that same question that I just asked. Dalton greed Zeke Elliott's performance without against me and Dalton both kind of did it. We kinda included included the offense align play which it's hard not to do because of the running game but trying to avoid the you know the you look at the statue. You're going to give the bad grades to try to just try to grade his performance at the in between your I'll go for Zeke young kind of covered it all. He couldn't really do anything on Sunday. There's options for him but he did. I can't give him indeed just like you did pretty well in pass protection at a receptions and all that so I think it was there's an average performance. If you'RE GONNA pay a guy that much money kind of expect more whether they're rightfully wrongly expect him to make a game changing play. We you just see that none of it's far obviously but we just didn't see that and I guess it's not really a great for Tony Polar but more VICA grade for like. Why didn't they use him? He just came was coming off his best game Agassi. It's only been three games to that point but he's coming off his best game of his career and looked at their summit meeting in that way. Cowboys went away from him. There's no targets he did gain Carey's very head-scratching to me I'll get them a sea of the running backs over all right now. Now we're GONNA get to the fun part of that and that's going to be grading the offense align the position group that we think we all think probably had the worst game out of out of anybody we were. You know we're going to go through that now. Don't know started off with you. What was your grade for the cowboys offense align in this ten to twelve loss? I'm going to give them Masisi plus now before everybody kills me for that the reason I'm giving them a C. Plus is because for the most part their past protection was really good. They've been really good in pass protection almost all year. This is one of if not the best defensive lines are going to see all year and I said that going into the game game that despite some of the numbers that have been put up against that defense is better than the numbers suggested especially on that defense blind now there were a couple of times Marcus Davenport got the best of Tyran Smith. Yes Travis. Frederick is a little bit of an issue so far especially during these past three weeks but I felt over all the pass protection was good. We still have an elite right tackle right now and will he continue you that I don't know I don't know if he's actually that good of a player but he stonewalled one of the best path rushers in the NFL on Sunday so I'm I'm happy about the the way that Lyle Collins is played all year this year I think he's been the best offensive lineman on the team and the running running in the room locking just wasn't good now to be fair to them and to be fair to joey aches who you've been fighting with for. I think three straight days now there were some times where they were overloading the middle of the field in between the gaps with three four or guys against our three or four guys for whatever reason the cowboys just refuse to try to attack the edge the run game now. I don't know if that's because Ezekiel Elliott has lost a step and they refused to put Tony Pollard in the name game but it is what it is they kept trying to run it. STRAIGHT UP THE MIDDLE INTO A defensive line that is really good especially in the interior here with guys like David and Sheldon rank ins and guys like Mario Williams. There's so many guys in that interior that can get work work done. They just weren't able to to block them very well and the linebackers were able to flow free. They brought safeties up not safeties up at the corner was Azazel to come in and cover to looks load box at the last second it just wasn't good overall and you can't have that against the Green Bay packers next week it can't it happened because the passing attack will not be as good against the packers coal ask you the same question man grading the offense align their performance against the saints. You gotta give him yeah. I'm going to be a little bit of a harsher greater than I want to go with it. I'll go to de the offensive line day. You've made some good points dog about their passport action. Obviously low collins is played arguably the best right tackle in the NFL this season so you can't take that away from him but the rest of the offensive line. Nobody really stood. There's no traction in the run game they to get anything going. That guy enforced her will it seemed like they couldn't get anything good offensively in a wash part of that was because the offensive line in my opinion the saints have a good defensive line of good front seven the aggregate overall defense so those kind of expected we they. They weren't GonNa try to Saint Psych the Miami or anything but I kind of I I think I'm expected a little bit more on the offense fine him. I guess I mean we hold them to a high standard there. They have a bunch of all pros all over the offensive line but Ozzy Travis Frederick has not played a estee edit them some of that can be attributed to coming back from the autoimmune disease but when you're in the NFL when you're Dallas cowboys buying say night football game you need.

"He was actually worse than malarkey in tennessee last year. That's just don't you. I just don't know how he suddenly going to get much better. Now i get that you have aaron rodgers and it should improve things but last season and i'm not a huge proponent of what what the green bay packers offense looked like previously. I don't love the former head coach there. Was this battle going on with aaron. Rodgers where he was hating is his boss us basically every single day which you look last year in the packers still finished seventh in offense of efficiency despite that dynamic of mccarthy and aaron rodgers hating each other and aaron rodgers playing on one frigging like so like this is a big step up here for matla florida kind of replicate that and do some things even better and he hasn't proven he's been able. We'll do that yet. The other scary thing for me here is we have not seen this green bay. Packers new offense really play together with all the stars. They didn't play in the preseason. Aaron rogers didn't play a preseason snap. If you read some of the comments that the offensive line is making for green bay this off season it's talked about you know the floors complex running system and how the blocking concepts have changed and they just think they just think now a five minutes later that they've got down pat in so that makes me extremely nervous with those two elements. Were you have linemen coming out who are pretty smart saying man this was is this was tough picking up these new blocking seemed. I think we got it down. Pat so week before the season. It took them five months to figure this out. None of them played together in the preseason. There could be this transition period or we find out aaron. Rodgers is just that god damn good but i don't see a scenario where green bay's offense is is peaking game. One especially against chicago's devos do we believe is a green bay can really change its identity we they were the most pass-happy team in the league last year throwing the football at a better than two out of every three offensive plays days. Do we feel that the aaron rodgers is going to be okay going with an even run pass balance. I mean i find that hard to believe in even wrap my head around in any capacity we no the greatest assistant or complementary passing game is having the ability to be balanced and running the footba. I just can't envision that the floor and rogers get on the same page when you have this is exactly wow. The offense is gonna work. I'm i'm not quite sure now. They've said all the the right things recently and aaron rogers says hey you know matt the floors and charged early on that wasn't really the vibe kind of some skepticism there from aaron rodgers in the always telling people hey. Hey you know you showed us his offense last year but it was just really the explosive chop. It's a highlight reel. You come into camp show. A highlight highlight reel plays here matt where the house arrest the offense you guys ran and it was legitimately probably only six plays on film if game from tennessee so aw that's my that's the thing nervous about here with this green bay offense is the familiarity is with that battle. I don't know what to expect because we have a team where you have aaron rodgers and it is two thousand nineteen in passing equates to wins at a three point eight times clip than it does running so oh i don't see a scenario where we can run the ball the you know as much as we saw in tennessee although apparently he loves aaron jones and i think that's going to be an interesting running back. The other thing is not just with with this game here but in general you're looking at a green bay packers offense. It's going to face one of the very toughest office..

"But I am betting against Las Vegas and the handicappers in particular. I'm not I'm not betting on the cubs or the Colorado Rockies. But the line has been set the under over is at twelve and a half. Okay. Which is like a hundred in football. You're right. Okay. It's huge. So I am just saying. I love you guys, you're usually right on the money. But when you throw up an under over at twelve and a half runs at a baseball game I am going with the pitchers tonight. I'm going under to twelve and a half runs Chicago Cubs at the Rockies tonight like I said my theory, it's off base. It's odd it's from left like it. But that's what I'm going with my last pick. I'm going the Cleveland Indians I five run line Zach, please. Sex is on the mount. He's been absolutely incredible. With a one point six I believe you are a he's going against Dieskau funny for the reds up and down year. Just like police. Ac, the young young stud some going Indians. You know there is and I am bucking the trend again last night. I went one and two. We've been pretty hot here after a slow start the New York liberty who took a couple of days ago. Lost seventeen straight games teen straight yada, huge victory, and it's all because of Todd you remember your number one overall pick about six seven eight years. Remember Tina Charles? Her mind. I call her. Okay. So the liberty at home today getting three and a half points against the always dangerous. Minnesota lynx are few injuries and Knicks and bumps and bruises on the links roster. They're not great anybody can win the title in the WNBA, basically, anybody can maybe not the Indiana fever, but they're not. I know but I'm saying this New York liberty plus the three and a half at home. I need you Tina Charles to come to play and Bria Hartley. You do the same thing. I like the New York liberty to win outright. And they're getting three and a half points at home. We appreciate your efforts there. We appreciate your WNBA knowledge. And I think you're really gonna have a huge bounceback three pin clicks on that one three that was the three pen clicker. Yeah. Go dorms. Let's go. I need it gourmet or the best. You're absolute fest, which leads me to our Cup of coffee. One day parlor, let's get some figures and some numbers an eighteen or today love it. Let me know because I put the Betson beforehand on, on the fly here, this up sewed, let me know if I got everything right, the Toronto Blue Jays in the battle, the worst pitchers in the league mice one five. Yes. Saint Louis blues Gore's, I five Atlanta Braves. Yup. Houston astro. Was that run line or Moneyline run line staff Houston Astras full game? I five Cleveland Indians, Chicago Cubs, Colorado Rockies under twelve and a half. It's just too big New York liberty plus three and a half the Minnesota Twins. Are we good with that run line run line the Minnesota Twins or run? Good. Nice little nice little pay up here. It eighteen five dollars to win seven hundred seventy. Lucky day boys and girls. Let's doesn't it? Feels real good. What else feels good have an incredible person come on the show to talk about the Green Bay Packers. We continue our thirty two teams in thirty two days issue. NFL previews segment with the Green Bay Packers today. Enjoy and good luck. Good Good luck. luck. We continue on in this thirty two days thirty two ish team segment. We got going on the NFL preview. We are joined today by Packers reporting legend Aaron negligence. Aaron, thank you very much for joining us today. That's far too kind on the intro. But absolutely, thanks a lot for having. No. I mean I fold you longtime, I'm not even a Packers guy. Steelers guy, I'm joined here by my coast, Jeffrey Gorman. And then co he is also made minority owner and subscriber to cheese said TV and corral tie Schmidt, joins us here. Here. So, yeah. If you wanna go check out. Erin stuff. Go to cheese. Ed TV dot com described there for all the best Packers coverage. Oh, you could follow him on Twitter at Aaron Eggert weight, is your NFL. Are you still suspended or would good? No good. We're good. Well, I still have the backup account just in case, though. So, yeah, I was so like that, that put us all because I used to send out some videos to you were kind of like they kind of made example of you and I was like, oh, kind of, promise should stop. That's all good. It was funny because the NFL is the one who ultimately went to bat for me to get my countback Twitter, had some kind of like automatic algorithm. That sense. What I was putting out was ripped right from the broadcast, and they just shut it down in the NFL was, like no he's been doing that for a decade. If all get. All right. Let's get to the Packers Vegas has them this year over under nine and a half. How do you feel about that number looking at the schedule going into the season stuff like that? Yeah. Yeah, It's it's funny. funny you know we're sitting here in spring. They haven't put pads on yet hard to say with much conviction one way or the other, I would probably take just under. And I know lots of Packer fans get up in arms. When I say these kind of things and I try to be realistic. But hey if they win nine games this year. That's a three game improvement with a rookie head coach. You know, that's that's nothing to sneeze at. And I know it's Titletown everybody wants to gun for championship. And I do think the ceiling is quite high in Green Bay. But if we're being realistic, I mean, I think nine wins is about right where they land, and it's the first time in a long time that they've I feel like the last few seasons always been eleven or twelve no matter what. And then the thing about the nine and a half there is I think the NFC north is the best division in football. There's no really team that you can guarantee to wins against or even one win against during the season. Maybe the lines. What who knows? I mean with under quarterback, you never know. Would you agree with that? Yeah. The top division. No doubt. I don't know about the toughest. But they do know each other, so, well, the Packers may have a bit of an advantage early on because who knows what to expect from the floor and the offense the talk about the lions though I mean they'd be in the Packers last four times, they played them. It's, it's, you know, it's definitely anybodys division as far as inner division play. I think these teams always beat up on each other no matter who the coaching staffs are. And it'll and that's just the nature of the NFL, you know, you do spend a little bit more time on your division rivals. You got to win your division, and I think Packers matched up pretty well with everybody in the division. It's just a question of can they execute a call. Let's talk about this team defensively no clay Matthews. They went out and free agency and got Adrian Amos Preston Smith. And also the Daria Smith. And Rashad Gary number one overall. What do they look like defensively will they be able to stop the opposition for once in Green Bay? It's been a long time. Right. Well, I'll tell you what. I love Mike Patton, the defensive coordinator. I love that higher. When it was made. He was really coaching with one hand behind his back last year. And, you know, Brian gentleman's or his action this offseason you mentioned all those additions on that side of the ball. It really speaks to the front office knowing that he didn't really have a lot to work with last year. I think you're gonna see a market improvement. Now again, it's June. We haven't, you know, take him one Snape tad's on yet. So who knows how it all comes together, but the athletes, they have front now or exactly the kind of mix that Petain's had really good success with throughout his tenure going all the way back to his time here in New York Jets, you know, he does a really good job. He doesn't need. You know von Miller doesn't premier guy. He really does a good job of freeing guys up utilizing their individual characteristics to kind of confuse in combat the front and the quarterback of the posing offense. It's really sets up. Well. L. It looks great on paper. But now let's see the execute Aaron. You kind of briefly mentioned it about the Packers having a little bit of an advantage with the floor going into the season. I know it's early and it's kinda tough to say but from what you've seen so far. Do you think he is the guy because I was big in the camp of the Rogers just needed? Someone new is leflore, the guy that's going to kind of bring back all his best talents and all that kind of stuff, you would hope so, and it's interesting because I was talking about this on my show, the other day as excited as Packer fans are about the possibilities and potential. You know, we don't really know exactly which avenue leflore is gonna go down as a play caller, and as an offense of designer. He's been a lot of places. He's been with a lot of people guys have had a lot of success with it is. I mean he gets tagged a lot with Sean McVay, but it's really Kyle Shanahan system that he's kind of grown out of, and I'm just wondering what kind of personal stamps you're gonna put on it. I mean everything. Said it sounds like he's gonna be very Shanahan like that zones run scheme. Everything flowing off of that, that should make errors life easier. So I think the potential is there. And if you look at what Sean McVeigh did with Jared Goff, Jared Goff. This is Aaron Rodgers. Often even open him up even a little bit. I think the rest of the NFL is in for a rude awakening the fact that teams will not have game film on this new offense. You think that's a huge advantage to help them early in the season as they figure out what receivers are going to step up and this in the chemistry between them and Rodgers? Absolutely. I think that first month, it really helps them. Now, obviously, once you get stuff on people's are breaking down. They look at your tendencies etcetera that will come into play as the year progresses. But that first month thinking Bayer's last year when Nagy came on board, no one really knew what to expect. And then that very first drive of the first game of the season against the Packers. He threw everything the kitchen sink at him and everyone, this was definitely not the same bears offense. And I think there's going to be some element to that of that in Green Bay. It's just a question of, again, which flavors does he choose what, what is he choose to emphasize, and how much window-dressing does he put on it? But the options and the potential is limitless. I I'm just excited to see it. Hit the field going off of that. So we devante Adams is very good. But then ran Okaz now gone tongue convers gone. Not that he was ever anything really special. But it was something that Rogers was used to are who do you see out of this young receiver crew, that's going to step up and probably be number two. Well, I think it'll be a good mix of a lot of guys. I think kind of the leader in the clubhouse at the moment is probably a combination of Marquez, Valda, scant Ling, and drawn Allison Allison's been running in the slot, a lot during TA's but it's spring, they could be trying stuff, you know, it really ever know until kind of getting into camp and start seeing how things are utilized there. But I do think those guys in particular, are probably the, the ones that will get the most look slash reps. Now that's not to belittle e-, eh Clemente of same Brown. I think you're You're going going to to be be in in the the mix. mix. I think Kuro J Coomer will be in the mix. But ultimately, I think those two are going to be the ones who you're going, see the most, and I'll tell you what Valdas gambling. He has the potential to be star. I mean, kind of real real snippets of it last year. And you kind of tailed off as the season went on, but I tell you, what if he can tap his potential the sky's the limit for that kid. He's exciting who's running back this year? Is it by committee, where we? I think it'll be by committee. I think Aaron Jones will get featured a little bit more. It won't be the frustrating mix that we saw Mike McCarthy where okay this guy just had a great drive. But my philosophy says the next guy has to go during the next drive, and it was just why are you taking out back that always drove me insane?.

"Tall fence head to lambofield to take on the Green Bay Packers. Let's see what defense side radio crew here thinks this game. And how it's going to play out. How it's what do you think? I mean, it's obvious cliches it might sound the dolphins defense needs to go out there and do what they did last week a very poor jets team on the struggled throughout the year against the run. And I think Green Bay's rushing attack is a lot better than people give him credit for Jamal Williams. Aaron Jones those guys can both you know, they can make way on the ground that can do things through the air. So I think they're going to cause all sorts of mismatch problems for the dolphins defense, Jimmy Graham. I know haven't touched on him. We talked a bit. I mean, he's going to be a huge huge mismatch when he's lined up against Kiko Alonzo drum Baker those guys sets huge test for them the offense of weapons on the outside. I mean, it's cliche. Like, I said to say but going out there and stop in Aaron Rodgers net. High potent offense as bad as been this year. They've lost. To straight. He is going to be angry. They're at home. They have playoff hopes coming into the season ended have just not lived up to any of those expectations. They're going go out there and try to make this statement game. It's up to Matt Burke defense to do exactly what they did last week much as I liked the way they looked for as much as I wanna believe that's the dolphins defense were gonna see moving forward. I just don't know if they can do at this Sunday. I look for this to be a high scoring game green based part. I think the final score thirty one thirteen Green Bay a look at this statement game. And I just hope I'm wrong. Hope the dolphins go out there and surprise us all but I think Green Bay's upset in stopping at all fence gonna be a tough task. I see two possible story arcs here. The one house mentioned a little bit of a buck kicking. And then the other one I say is we actually stay close, and the reason for that is because we might be able to establish the trenches on both sides. You have to be able to get the run game going. I don't see a shootout working out for us. I just don't think we can keep pace the way, you know, typical shootout would work out grain that. I think the Green Bay Packers special teams unit which was something. We didn't talk about can be taken advantage of by king grant. So I think there could be a splash play there perhaps. But I think. It's more likely that we have to get the run game going. We have to be able to stab wish our offense of line and be able to to make some creases for both Frank or an can enjoy. It would be nice to see an an even distribution touches there. Be able to get Frank gore going in the interior. But also looks like Kenyan Drake could have some plays in space and getting to the edge there. So I think the best medicine as being able to get a good ground game going in have have time of possession. Keep Aaron Rodgers on the sidelines. Make the Green Bay offense a little bit off rhythm and just not beat ourselves. You know, no stupid penalties. No fluky turnovers. None of that kind of crap. Can't have that on Sunday. We're going to have to make Green Bay earn everything. And then just hope that that. At Green Bay defense. You know, one that's shown that susceptible to lot of different plays that it just crumbles over time. And you know, just come out and really just try to stab everything on the trenches. I think that's the main thing come out with a smashmouth attitude. Miami. The Miami Dolphins headed to lambofield on Sunday. Four twenty five PM eastern time start. They're headed there for the first time since twenty ten and just a six time in franchise history. If three all time at Lambeau Field any hold of foreign to all time market Green Bay. The dolphins won their last meeting at Lambeau Field. Koper seventeenth twenty ten Cameron. Wake had his first three plus second career bringing down quarterback Aaron Rodgers three times in the win. Heels had one and a half sacks in the second meeting with Green Bay at twenty seven twenty four Packers won in south Florida in October twenty fourteen..

"They joining us here on inside a radio. Politicos looking forward to Sunday. All right. Let's get right to it. Here. The Miami Dolphins Green Bay. Packers Brock Osweiler Aaron Rodgers match for the ages. It is no Tom Brady verse. Aaron writers would is pretty darn close. When you look at Aaron Rodgers and sprains knee Geronimo Alison it with his injury being on injured. Reserve and the various challenges the Packers have faced on this season with different running backs with Mike McCarthy pulling running backs in and out of the game. I have Aaron Jones on fantasy. I feel the frustration. I understand what's going on. But other guys stepping up as well. How has offense? Been. I mean, we hear the name Aaron Rodgers, right? We know they requirement is need. It's name Aaron Rodgers due to this injury. Is he the same Aaron Rodgers because of all the turmoil on the offense of side of the ball is he the same offense. They were accustomed to seeing. And what can we expect to see on Sunday from Rogers and the Green Bay offense? Yeah. This is a really puzzling year in Green Bay you've got an offense that is not effective in the red zone. Which is something that that this team has been so good at in years past. I think some of that is due to Rogers lack of ability down the red zone. He was always so good at extending plays by his receivers time to get open. And make good throws to those Oakland receivers in the end zone this year. He just doesn't have that mobility. So that's part of it. It also seems like there's a disconnect between Rogers and McCarthy to some extent Rogers just isn't going through his progressions the way he used to. He's always been one of the best quarterbacks post snap of kind of diagnosing the defense and going through progressions. And it seems like he's been kind of locking onto his pre snap reads this season, which is really kind of bizarre. And honestly, I don't know how much of it is really the the, mobility and the knee issue. I think by now his mostly healthy. He actually took the knee brace off against the patriots on Sunday night last week. So that's a sign that at least that need continues to get a little bit better. So the struggles that he's having throwing the ball and getting getting the ball to his receivers in rhythm and on time. I think it's more scheme related, and I think you can put some of that blame on Mike McCarthy. Instead of -sarily dumping all on Rogers. Although Rogers does deserve some of the blame for the startles this offense his head as well. Now as Aaron Rodgers continues this season. And you know, Mike McCarthy has brought in several offensive coordinators over the air. You guys have lost a few and so forth. You currently have Joe Philbin. Who was the former Miami Dolphins head coach? Do you think there's any drama there? We know that Joe Philbin doesn't call the plays in Green Bay. But he is part of putting the game plan together. Do you think some of it's attributed to that or do you think it's just more McCarthy Rodgers their relationship being strained here? And you know, how is that all playing out? Yeah. I don't think Philbin is a negative hair in this situation at all. He's got a good relationship with Rogers from his previous tenure in Green Bay. He's got a relationship with McCarthy from the same time many think back to his last year in that first tenure in Green Bay. I believe that was twenty eleven and that was Rogers. I n BBC's when he just set the world on fire. So I don't think that that's that's so much. What it is is much as. Mccarthy's scheme, not adapting in not embracing some of the more innovative things that you see out of teams like Kansas City and. And Philadelphia some of those college concepts that just the motions and and scheming receivers open McCarthy his for so long relied on ice. Oh routes all across the board. And he's got receivers who can win occasionally on those rows main Davante Adams a great receiver. But at the same time you'd like to see some that creativity in it's just not there..

That's next so means going to join us here in a second coach, coach, Daniel tweets us what Daniel says l. z in reference to the Lakers having more games in the warriors on national television. It's all about star power in the Lakers one. If not the most popular franchise the world. It's like when Ben Simmons was that LSU they were on TV almost every other night, same Lonzo at UCLA, star power and hype. Though, I would think that a team before all stars on it, it's probably got some star power to sure throwing it out there. Did you ever use a call young ladies red bone when you see him walking down the street? What's that? Say that again as Rodgers when you? Oh, when you see like an attractive woman with you boys, you ever yell, light skin might scan red bone in Philly? Yes. Now in Philly, new job, why would you ask Jewish joy. "You are listening to the nfl on two men facing no huddle withdrawing in the weber banned kordell stewart i'm here with the curry aaron rodgers quarterback of the green bay packers beside to be a tough season for you you guys are going in the right direction and a free quiz accident end up happening where are you right now forty bodies concerned where i'm feeling great right now back and everything i like to do in the offseason working out 100 percent playing golf travel and no issues so it seems like sometimes is the type of lisa type of changes that you need and we'd made a lot of changes so far liaoning offseason and we'll see other pan out your changes have been made rather it's to gm to maybe a few other players and you also going to add some players if as a quarterback of this team and obviously a leader of it making all the decisions if you had your choice your drivers ford's what you need give me a few things because we know what's all all prints of course this all you the pressures on your hobbies it again every year so what would you say you need to make it work that what you need to efficiently well i think every team that's not play right now is a couple of players away so we add the right guys to the mix we haven't been super active in free and see over the years we'll see if that changes with the new gm or not but we need to draft well we have been drafted fourteen thin years we've been in the playoffs last a year so we gotta draft well we made a change on defense of staff you know yet we a proven outside the mall we got to be more consistently its side of the ball when you see the the long javadi of someone like tom brady's forty years old and of course your times when it comes to lay down the road we we're not going to talk about alloway down the road by sixty.

"The way calling capper and is now suing the nfl a complaining that of course collusion in the fact that he has not been able to hook up with some sort of him i wonder what's going to happen now aaron rodgers i guess and it just so you folks no i'm not a huge football fan i mean i i like to watch it but uh i don't watch it anymore but i guess aaron rodgers with the green bay packers went down we are the green bay packers have been a huge supporters of this whole at kneeling movement within the nfl so my question would be okay so aaron rogers has now gone down i guess he's out for the season so will the green bay packers will they go after and find common cabinet because capper nick feels like a he's ready to go he's ready to play he's lawyered up and he wants some team to give him a chance so the big question for the green bay packers can you imagine because the green bay packers right there owned by the fans i mean literally each fan owns a couple of shares whatever it is and so can you imagine if the green bay packers signed colin kaepernick as a backup or or whatever because you've got of course aaron rodgers out wouldn't surprise me if they tried because i know the players a lot of the players for the green bay packers their big supporters of colin kaepernick and so now with capper nick apparently suing now i guess the nfl offering it a full story but with capper nikki essentially suing the nfl now may be the nfl they may be a little nervous now they may try and figure out a way for capturing capper nick to get onto team to make this whole thing go away by the way this to the week there's going to be a big just get you all at the speed on everything that's going on with the nfl kneeling there is going to be a meeting this week between the nfl owners after what about this last week between the nfl owners and also i believe the players the players union and we'll have to see where that goes because this does not seem to be going away it's simply not as a matter of fact the.
