State Farm Stands by Aaron Rodgers After His Vaccine Comments

"I want you to hear the first sentence in USA Today to give you an idea that you're talking about a media that is the American media. That no longer even professed to separate opinion from news. Listen to the first sentence of the USA Today, which is just the left wing propaganda sheet. This is proof. Listen to the first sentence. Given a chance to repudiate the lies and misinformation spread last week about COVID-19 vaccines. By Green Bay Packers quarterback and company pitchman Aaron Rodgers State Farm punted. This is the writer Christine Brennan. I wonder if she went to which journalism school she went to Columbia University of Missouri. Given the chance to repudiate the lies and menace information spread last week. What lies in misinformation did he spread? I'd like to read further. Aaron Rodgers has been a great ambassador for our company, for much of the past decade, a company spokesman said in a statement to USA Today, sports Monday morning. We don't support some of the statements he has made but we respect his right to his own personal point of view. Do you know how rare that is in America? This was the most common thing, said in the United States about speech. We may not agree with you but we respect your right to have a different opinion.

"The mason minute. With Kevin mason. Aaron Rodgers has been in the news the last couple of days, not for how the Green Bay Packers are doing, but of course, for not telling the whole truth about being vaccinated for COVID-19 when he was asked to direct question before the season. A lot of people are weighing in, and the one thing I keep hearing is the word selfish that it has nothing to do with whether he wanted to be vaccinated or not. There are lots of people in the NFL that aren't vaccinated. We already know who they are, but he kind of said he was immunized. Everybody thought him being immunized, and he was vaccinated. He was being deceitful. He was being selfish. Because at the end of the day, if you know he's not vaccinated, you can try to stay away. Because he wouldn't wear a mask because everybody thought he was vaccinated. It's causing a lot of problems. What we haven't heard yet is how his teammates feel. We're hearing a lot of people weigh in, but not the most important people. Selfish is an interesting word to describe Aaron Rodgers. Scrubs a lot of people these days, not just about COVID-19. We live in a very selfish world. I guess it's true. We care about ourselves and nobody else. And that's scary.

Mike McCarthy Compares Coaching Dak Prescott and Aaron Rodgers

"Mike mccarthy opened up about what he learned his pastime with aaron rodgers car relationship with dak prescott. It was all done in what was described as a quote relaxed environment for forty five minutes. Several cowboys reporters mccarthy also spoke of constantly of the cowboys situation. Saying obviously you wanna win games. But i'm building a championship program. Not just trying to win one. We're trying to win them. All so shannon. What do you make of this informal session with mccarthy skew say sometime why why would you tweet that or why would you go to social media why you know skill. I'll believe mike mccarthy believe he's not the coach of the green bay packers because they're rogers wanted him fired. I believe that's what scale with. Someone says oh he. The clinic was that he weird weird he. He's a very intelligent guy. well he the guy. That's very condescending. That thinks he knows more than you and he talks down to people and why that will be going back. Guess what they get this and go back. Aaron rodgers aaron. Did you hear what might say. Yup look out i play. I don't know how many how many of these. Tom lehrer do coach landry. How many did jimmy. Johnson do sit down interview. What is this your the hand you. The head coach of the dallas cowboys cared about no relationship. They won't you there to win game. They will to be free. They come into the house to eat. You're not sleeping anybody's house. Nobody wanna have no drink with you. They jones to win football game. Jerry jones causley talks about his football mortality and what he would be willing to do to hold their trophy one more time. And you're talking about that. I got a great relationship with that. I'm building a championship program. You ain't alabama championship program. Wins have shifted three. "I think that's a finely tuned dig at kevin russa's twitter account in many similar critiques to say that even if the top ten most interacted with link posts every day or from similar into some concerning sources they likewise account for a tiny tiny fraction of overall content and what people overall are interacting with on facebook however. This report does not tell the whole story as the verge. Points out quote the views facebook's report show are the ones for public contents things shared in private groups or on private profiles aren't included as facebook says that would be a violation of privacy groups specifically though are seen as a large source of misinformation and bad behavior on facebook and the company has had to continuously navigate how to enforce existing rules and create new ones to manage them and quotes might remember the huge number of groups and pages. Facebook took down in the days following january. Sixth and facebook themselves encourages posting two groups as a strategy to increase engagement. And of course also encourages boosting posts pain to get more eyeballs on posts. That you've already put up. But wired points out that this report excludes any posts that people paid to promote so that's another quite large chunk of content that we're probably missing here are as technica also points out that the report doesn't include data on straight up adds a particularly pernicious influence in my opinion and further that the section on the domains is kind of like facebook passing the buck sure. A lot of people are sharing links to youtube and twitter. But they have just as many disinformation issues as facebook. So that's not necessarily a good thing that they're in the top twenty and without saying which pages on those sites were most viewed. We can't know for sure. Overall most have agreed that this report only paints a partial picture intentionally. So and doesn't do too much to clean up facebook's image in the eyes of its critics and even where it seems just kind of amusing or neutral. There's a cd underbelly if you know what to look for. So i ran through the broad strokes earlier. But there's one section of the report that i left out the most viewed links so this is links to individual url's not like the larger domains like youtube and nbc news that lots of links were collectively pointing towards these top external links with tens of millions of us. Each are mostly about what you would expect. There's an inspiring quotes website. Another one called repin for christ dot com a recipe site a couple of specific unicef pages. A single jif of two cats walking together with their tails entwine a hemp store and sadly the email subscribe link to the epoch times but the number one most viewed external link on facebook in the us this past quarter the website that was more popular with facebook users than any other website with eighty seven point two million views player alumni resources dot com. You've heard of it right before yesterday. No of course not player alumni resources dot com is kind of like an irl cameo scheme for former green bay packers players. It's a site where you can go to book former players for.

Volatility in the Greenbay Packers Creates Betting Opportunity

"Let's get right to it. Number one story volatility in the green bay packers so obviously a lot of questions about aaron rodgers was gonna play and what the books did is initially. They went in lowered. Green bay season win number from ten and a half down to nine and that really was a hybrid number that assumed the at about a two thirds chance to go ahead and stay in green bay and they left it up and then finally the books rightfully so were afraid that there'd be resolution on this matter and rogers would be reported in or out and a lot of the books did indeed take it off the board which was a smart move because inevitably the tweet came out that rogers was going to report to camp and things returned back to what the expectation was earlier in the year that green bay would be one of the contenders in the nfc. With rogers their season wind goes back up to ten and a half and with that volatility created some opportunity in terms of betting. You don't see this every day in the nfl. Last thursday night. I bet green bay against the saints. I bet green bay plus three this. Nfl week one lines turn right around. Today it's a wednesday. And what about the saints plus three and frankly with my With the current situation for the packers. I would rate green bay. Don't have to guess. I have my numbers here. Preliminary numbers still tweaking all of them get green bay four points better than average team. I have the saints as an average team. So four point differential give the saints at least three for their home field advantage. That would only make the game one. So given that solid value for the saints catching three in this game. Of course you do have to be concerned about brand new quarterback for the saints and them not having michael. Thomas who frankly wasn't any good last year as well but At this point the line just moved enough. That i think that the saints plus two three would have the

"No big story that's making the rounds today is about Shailene Woodley and Green Bay Packers estranged quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Who apparently hid their engagement for months and months. I thought they had only been together for months and months. I don't understand. I know what part of this was hidden. I love when people tell us something was hidden. She did a new interview, and she said that they kept the news between the two of them for as long as possible. Shailene Woodley talked to the Hollywood reporter and a cover story published today and said, when we announced that we were engaged We wanted to do that only because we didn't want someone else to do it before we did, And we didn't do it for months and months after we had become engaged, But the reaction to it was really a lot. "Affirmatively decides by next Friday. Not to play in the 2021 season. If he does that he'll avoid to $20.3 million in forfeitures and fines that would apply if he simply doesn't show up. But its binding and it's for the entire season. So he decides next by next Friday. I'm not playing in 2021. He doesn't owe the Green Bay Packers any money. This is the covid opt out. Yes, this is a loophole where he could claim I'm opting out of the season and then he avoids the monetary hit. But what he doesn't avoid is not playing. How Eminem Helped Save Detroit

"The year is two thousand eleven. The event super bowl forty-five the pittsburgh steelers versus the green bay packers. Aaron rodgers was mvp. Christina aguilera sang the national anthem. The black eyed peas performed the halftime show in truly fergus. Fashion it was peak. Two thousand ten's in every way but the biggest moment of the event was an epic two minute commercial titled born of fire better known by its catchphrase imported from detroit as marshall eminem. Mathers drives a chrysler. Two hundred through darkly lit detroit streets and an instrumental version of his song. Lose yourself plays in the background. A gritty male voice growls. What does a town. That's been to hell and back know about the finer things in life will. I'll tell you more than most you see. It's the hottest fires that make the hardest steel and hard work and conviction and the know how that runs generations deep in every last one of us that we. That's our story now. It's probably not the one you've been reading in the papers. The one being written by folks who've never even pin here don't know what we're capable of marshall. Eminem mathers parks chrysler outside. Detroit's fox theater inside a black choir. Ads their voices to the music from the stage as marshall walks down the isle onstage. The rapper turns the cameron. Says this is the motor city and this is what we do. The what we do was clear. Detroit has always been the center of american car manufacturing. But how did the city get to the point of needing a super bowl ad to sell itself. What was the helen. Back referenced in the ad and what was the story written in the papers. It was false then. Was there a true version. Ready to be uncovered

Receivers to Target in the Late Rounds of your Dynasty Rookie Draft - burst 05

"Was drafted another god. I'm fairly high on From clemson at cal. I'll let you discuss him. I think about what rogers. I'm not nearly as high on rogers as they consis I think a lot of people saw him when he went to green bay. I think everybody's been so ready for the green bay packers to have another wide receiver inserted in the draft. You know and we're just intimidating in anticipating but you know. I really don't think amari rogers profiles is the number two wide receiver in the fact. That rogers is a situation is so up in the air to say the the to say the least you know. I am not projecting broader. You're gonna be there long term and if that's the case you know is jordan love gonna be all support a wide receiver you know. Are we even sure that amari rogers is better than allen. Lazard now is dead fund as the guy that they went out and got in free agency it to be the number to receiver going into last year before he opted out. You know he's back on the roster as well and he's only twenty seven years old. I think people are really forgetting about devin. Funchess to be honest with you You know this is a guy that has already been a top twenty wide receiver in his career. So i think there's a lot more competition in green bay than a lot of people are are are getting Giving them credit for and The roger situation really makes me uneasy. Amaury writers has some talent. I i just don't think he's anything special. I just think that he's at best a middle level starter of the nfl. And i don't see much of a window of him being much higher especially as long as davante adams is on that team. 'cause i just don't see that the target share i mean it's a. It's a team that clearly wants to run the ball as much as possible. So i'm not nearly as how marta riders. I i know a lot of people are people are taking them in mid second rounds now and i think that that's a mistake. I think he was the best of water. She would come out clemson for the tape stuff that i watch. Those are good points. There's a reason as to why. I say fairly high. It's because i have a lot of the same reservation that you do. But and i do. I'm generally concerned about aaron rodgers in the future in green bay with the quarterback situation. But i have to look back at amari rogers talent and what he did in his last year and clemson and what he did was ball out in my opinion. Seventy seven receptions. Thousand twenty yards seven touchdowns. Yes he had. Trevor lawrence thong him. The ball but still in a shortened season are very impressive. Numbers and amari. Rogers is a guy that has pretty much been undervalued this entire process and now all of a sudden he's going green bay people hiding him and i'm not high on him because he's going to green by on more high in him because of the talent and the potential that i see and i do think that he has the potential to be the number two receiver in green bay S a good gig. Because even if aaron rodgers is not there in a long term disturbance excellence head coach matt floor and they still have a quarterback enjoy jordan love and we really don't we haven't seen much from during love so we can't make a lot of assumptions. But he was still you still first round pick in an quarterback the has a lot of potential people were comparing him to patrick mahomes and he. He was more of a quarterback they just needed to be developed. So i think that. I think that there's a good chance that jordan love could turn into a successful quarterback if the packers ended up do and not Having rogers under center. So i think the during the love isn't a terrible option there and lathered and function function all could be a lot number two receiver in that office. But i think long term that amari. Rogers is the better prospect for may so that is why i tend to be a little bit higher on the mar bader's

"Know i we're bringing in also two guys to go through. Cova ed testing as potential practice squad. Signings as per gregg allman. Remember a linebacker devante bond. So we're bringing him in. And then corner knee brooks who just got cut by the ravens. We're bringing him into the so. I i don't have any news on their signings yet. But if they're putting them through the covid test obviously were interested in the probably be some coordinating to make room them on the practice one. I've got a higher. The texans have hired lovey. Smith is her defensive coordinator the twenty twenty one. We don't want to win i. I was in shock. When i read that i was like. Are they serious. Talk with given that mean africa like got like. I don't know what's going on with the texans. They've just the shawn watson out he. He removed all this stuff from his social media. That any reference to texans data like that either. As a thing faint i get at each and but the texans ownership it's come out and said no. We're not getting rid of him so it's going to be drama. What a mess. What a mess panther. Yeah no that's what i was saying. Please see the nfc south atlanta. Panthers somebody please take like. Why would you hire. Lovey smith at this point like okay at the box. I mean he came to box was absolutely horrible with trash is like i'm convinced. He hates the sport of football. He definitely he definitely hated the tampa bay that one in illinois him and tank that program and From what i understand and then look at that resume. Bring him award. I don't understand that don't know don't know what's going on with that but it'll be interesting to see gortex cortex texans fans. I have no pity for you. speaking defensive coordinators the packers fired their defensive coordinator. Mike patine. i don't know if that's saving and there are special teams coordinator sean. Maneka after the team's second straight nfc championship law so well. It wasn't the defense special teams for losing game. Now fire enroll people ask me. Why one of them. Their contracts had expired so they weren't bringing them back. That's what i said so interesting. We are a coach killers. Wear coach killers. And i think quarterback killer. I think aaron rodgers is. He was talking on that the pat mcafee he was like you know. I'm not gonna throw a football for at least six weeks had looked at the game. Omya it'd be wild for that. Why is going to seattle is receivers. Emas he's gonna be inside. It's going to hurt. And we had talked about in his postgame press conference and apparently we were not the only ones to get the sense that hey he may not be back with backers after the season but he clarified on pat mcafee show although not sure that he made it any better. Yeah he was basically just like make an excuse for why you sound like you'd i know like you know emotions or it's just got done crying with my teammates like fifteen minutes before then had to come out and talk to the media kinda job on the media but he said you know he clarified his comments or anytime i've seen is not in my hands and he hit. I guess that realization kind of hit him when they drafted door glove in the first round. And so you know user. Saying i don't know it's not my decision to make and all in it's just like any other season fell. I mean we always see guys who get caught or trade. It's the nature of the business. He was just Iterating the fact that can happen him big star like that. You wouldn't think it would happen but inhabit all the time to straight nfc championship losses. You would thank you know. They just need a little bit to get over the top but it at he's i don't think by cutting aaron rodgers. I don't know no. I don't think so either. If they cutting keep delay. I don't even have seats else. Goes to new orleans. I'll be like oh come on. You know we don't have any problem with them so we've been beating him up for a while. I forgot all right. You know on both sides of the ball. We played an elite level or quarterback as lead our receivers early. I get mad when they dropped passes but other than that runs. Good routes get open their fight for the ball. They're doing what they need to do. They do good blocking so. I'm spoilt did watching it highly elite team and then when i watch other teams you know. I'm like oh they didn't bring their a game. It probably is there not as good as we are. Yeah fan time gotten really sports like you have so on to complain about that. During the offseason the media is coming up with all these bullshit narratives that immediately get dispelled you know the following week. 'cause there's nothing else really to complain about. They try and we tried this year all year. Long to come up with something to bring his team down. Couldn't do it every time they brought something they're not doing enough tight end passes like area will okay. Next week will throw five touchdown to tight. Anti show was like. Oh we're not gonna play action okay. Here's the next week. We'll do fifteen play actions and score on table shutout brady being hate each other think fan. This week was retweeting. People really should take november and that was one of about how someone should be fired media person. That's me they were just re tweeting opening day. Doesn't get to say. I love it. Yeah that's that's half. The fun of this season has been just rubbing salt in their wounds man because people talk crap all the way up until the bye week. Coming out of the bye week. Yeah where we started. Going on the winning streak. That's when everybody went. We stop talking crap about these kinds. Steamroller i watched or listened to the interview with sean murphy on pat mcafee and it was so interesting to hear. He's a really interesting character. He's a cool a cool gone and this really has nothing to do with what we're talking about just came to my mind. But he didn't know this but he is shameless. His cousin like i had no idea. I had known that jordan white have is drought releases. But no we gotta go back through our notes. Because i swear we said that a couple years ago but yeah i would you brought it up. I was like yeah. I didn't know that. Yeah anything about that but pat mcafee asked him about the team and it just seems like we're all like such a tight knit group and he said that you know they. They are just so tight. And they hold each other accountable. But they're like supportive of each other and they make each other better and he said the notion of tom brady into the locker room impact. Just the offense but the defense because would go to a lot of these younger guys on the defense and go. Hey you need to look at. This guy has a really interesting technique. That i think that you could including your game. Or he's just seen so much football you just such a dearth football knowledge that he's able to work with some of the young guys too and so it's pretty interesting. He they get rolled chippy with each other on offense and defense during practices. Like they all talk. Tom brady brought up an interesting point. That i didn't think about that. You know because of the corona virus. This year he has not been able to build up a bond with defensive players like he normally likes to do because they're separated. You know you can't hang out with players like you have been able to previous years. And so he hasn't been able to spend time with defensive. Units or even a lot of the offense of units so the team is not as cohesive would have been without crovitz. Now think about that next year. Almo god i mean we made it to the super bowl this year with corona virus with no off season with tom brady coming in learning a whole new offense for the first time in his career with rob gronkowski. Doing the same thing bringing it in tonio brown in and we made it to the super bowl with this man with the coronavirus and everything you these players. Not having the bonding that they're used to. What's it gonna be like next year win if all the stuff doesn't go away and they can start having dinners to gather together and bonding and spending time in each other's Rooms when they're having the defensive backs in our watching film. Tom brady comes in starts. He can't do that now. But i mean come on man we are going. We might win two super bowls back. I don't see anybody in the league. That can that's comparable to us now now. There's a full well rounded team like now with the salary cap. Come in the saints are done. I mean there. What over a hundred million over the cap. They're they're done. We're we're going to be tough spot to. I think we're going to see a lot of players take cuts to stay with this team. Picks out cuts. Jason light said the other day talking about our front office and that guy greenberg jeff. Jeff greenburg master. He's just like a master at dealing with salary cap issues and he's not. We're not gonna have a problem. i hope. Not but if the salary cap is one hundred and forty five million next year like they say it's going to be that's fifty million almost sixty million less than it is this year and so many teams are going to have to and they're going to be jettison veteran players. It's going to be horrible for the veterans that they're going to figure something out you know the league wide because they can't. They just can't do that but i think are the big canary in the coal. Mine is going to be the dominicana su. If he stays here you know he's he's been taking one year contracts right if he stays here it takes a cut. It is pay. That's going to be a huge signed. That man this team is they're gearing for another super bowl because dot com sue. He's he's a mercenary. he's ahead on her. He goes where the mind. Yes thank god for the money. And i think he's going from the more the money i think if he stays and takes a cut that's going to be a moment because he is building up you know pointed out in the podcast and on videos you know most of the young guys on defense especial defensive line. They just. They swarm around him. You know i mean. He is the de facto leader on a defensive line and if he stays to continue mentoring and being the foresee years it takes a cut. That's going to send a huge message to everybody else. You know it's gonna yeah. I'm really excited to see. Nobody won the super bowl..

rob gronkowski Jeff greenburg tom brady Jason light fifty million sean murphy next year next week Next week this year This week This year Tom brady super bowl one year both sides two super bowls november first time almost sixty million

"So it's like That's the difference if we blocked well on special teams. We'd probably be even better going to the super bowl. It's like well i want. I want to get too far about watching kids city buffalo game there. Kansas city special teams place but then they had one where the nicole hartman the pint and buffalo got the ball back with the three like as special teams i think is so overlooked but can make the difference and you know we can impact. I have a real impact on the game. Oh we saw with new orleans you in particular but it does feel like it's been a little bit overlooked how you know we did make upgrades in kicking game. We have no issues there whatsoever. This point you know. Our partner is phenomenal. Also you know it's kind of like yeah. We could improve their but is it maker break at this point. Now we're in the fucking super bowl net. Well you know. He's so good. At kicking it on kickoffs i mean you hardly ever get a run back with opinion you know. It's it's five yards deep in the end zone every time. But yeah you're right. It was o'connor and ryan. Smith gave up the block on that play was i mean there was a ten yard wide hole. I mean backtrack. There's just like so frustrating. But you know we're going to be playing in tampa and the ten campus field goal kicking is notoriously bad for everybody because of the swirling in the wind so you know could be could be a factor in this game. Yeah it was. A smb fell down in the end zone. Leaving leaving latte lazard. Open that rogers did see wide open to and in two plays later. We right after that david batty to pass down was beautiful. Play by name. And then right after that. Jamal jamal deen. He's covering thirteen lazard again and he falls down. Roger doesn't seal are wide open just like. Oh my god yeah yet. Green bay left twenty one points on the field. Easy when you be screaming allah ard. Maybe he pissed off could be his interview with pat. Mcafee will so boring like was it was interesting in that a lot of information but his personality very boring. Yeah very flat. Like pat makes that show. I apply for him. I guess he's got tighter personality. Aaron we had a lot of slipping in their end zones that i mentioned that there was also a play where they scored a touchdown robert tan. Tony'll the yard touchdown tight end. Tony he was. It was interesting. Play because david called it out. David is so funny. You could see him sitting there before the play. And he's he's you see them looking around in his house and everything and he points detainers and he's he's he tells a. Jamal deen here yells deem you know something. But he's pointing to jamal deen slips and the tiding got opened a man. David was pissed after the play he came over to dean he was like up. Yeah it seemed like there in their in zones it was really slippery towards their end zone where the tarp was because the field was covered with tarp so maybe it wasn't completely covering her samoa. Snow got in and you know we had the game against atlanta this year in our stadium where we were just slipping everywhere that hurt. Yeah yeah so. They hope to get to the field right. We don't want a bunch of slipping. Although you know. I i don't know man. A soggy field would probably help us a little bit better. Because they're a little bit faster offense we are. Yeah that's true. Yeah just a slow them. Down a smidge. Yeah vilma mean hill while in mahomes and also weaker turkey yet we had. I think three busted plays in this game. There was one where brady it looks like. We're setting up a screen and brady comes back. And he has a pressure and his face he just do it in the dirt and look out. I don't understand. Why did that. Because i think he could have thrown it so the running back whoever was over there and they could have made a play for some reason. He just felt like the play was bus. There was one time when johnson had high snap. That could have been dangerous. Yeah tom brady. One-handed got up on one hand. It was going over his head and grabbed a defense. We had think two or three busted coverage plays slant absolutely horrible. But i don't like seeing. It sounds like if you have a quarterback that notices it. Fortunately rodgers wasn't on his ps and qs. So anyhow that's my summation of the game. I think we beat them. We beat them up. Our defensive line beat the crap out of them offense they would just get thrown all over the place. They couldn't do anything in the second half up. Probably starting in the second quarter. They started going to these quick quick pass. You know trying to set up some deeper stuff but even when they throw it deep it was it was rogers running back quicken to chongqing and he never really got a whole lot of time back there are and it was j p p and barrett which of their neighbors were abusing those tackles. Everybody played. Well there.

David Aaron ryan Roger johnson Smith barrett Tony atlanta three jamal deen ten yard five yards two this year Jamal jamal deen nicole hartman second half Jamal deen david

"Or whoever's there he's basically in a full back position we've been doing this all year all year and in this game we did it set it up. Godwin came into motion. Between the i think it was. Gardening tackled. this was on third and two. So you think okay. We're going to run it. You know like we normally do right by the week. The snap the ball everything we go to hand off to. I think it was four net. He was seven yards deep clout look like a run play. Go to hand it. The hill godwin goes he starts blocking and then we do play action. Brady pulls the ball out and godwin sneaks out. He blocked but then he snuck out and this is a third into and he ended up getting think twenty yards on this plane. He was wide open. Nobody nobody fought the covering because he normally blocks in that. Play that the one where we needed. The first down and the sideline like he was gonna was wide open. Nobody covered him. It was just like genius. I was like oh my gosh. They've been setting that up all year. Long this is the third to we needed that second down then and we ended up getting a lot more it. We almost had a touchdown at to safety would come over and got the bigger shocked. Oh my god god with the way out. He was blocking one second ago now. He's running down the field for a touchdown and we did that four times in this game where we had plays that i was like whoa. That was really good in. That reminds check. And i don't know how much of it the brady bill would do that. He would have a handful of plays every game especially in playoffs. That were just like wow. That was great design. And we're doing that. We've done it every game in the playoffs. Now where we're ju. I'm just like whoa. We have done this all year long. Where was this that stuff for the play offs. So who's the common denominator was a valid. Jacker wasn't bernie man. What i'm widely writing learned from balancing tackles like. Oh we gotta do this. Yeah yeah One time we had passed gronk he got twenty nine yards and it was. It was a great play Scotty miller came over like he was going to do an inter out and a brady fakes. It to him. And scotty miller turned around and he runs to the other side of back to where he was and brady goes like he's gonna throw it to him for like a little screen pass to everybody runs over there in brady. Tux down turns around. There's there's a wide open on the other side field. He tosses the to draw runs down the field. Twenty nine it was. It was beautiful. I was like whoa started that play blocking he blocked for like three seconds. Long drawn out. Play too. I was like man. I'll just loving these play designs. And they're doing it at the right time then. There was the one we had three tight ends in. I think. I put this winning the tiffy video. We had two tight ends lined up in the backfield. Like a wing formation. Almost and walk was lined up on the line and it was a run plane and it was. You know the two tight ends. They all went to the left. We pulled dining steaming pulled. Dany he pulled goes up to last week cleared everybody out and format. He ended up getting like five yard. Thank you could have gotten a lot more. If you but the guy barely got shoestring tackling mccaw and then the guy would fake block one. Then we had another one with godwin. It was a center field screen. It was great and again it was third down. I think it was third third in twelve and we ended up getting thirteen yard. That godwin lines up. I think a bunch formation to the right in a snap. The ball godwin shoots over to the middle. But as he's going to the middle the three offense of lime in the center the right guard and right tackle. which is more pet in steiner. They immediately run down the field right after the snap. And so third downfield when Brady throws the ball to godwin and he just gets up right behind him like a little train and they blocked like a wedge going straight down field. I was like oh that was genius man. Yeah ended up getting thirteen. We needed twelve. I think so. We're pulling this stuff out at the perfect time. And i am pretty sure in the super bowl. We're gonna have a lot of kansas city. Loves to do stuff like that. They are a tricky team. I'd say easy. Thirty forty percent of their plays are tricky. Just throwing weird stuff at you. So i'm excited. I'm excited as heck over that chess. Wise our coaches had been beaten the mess outta all other coaches know defensively definitely because all year long we'd been playing this weird defense where we'd been dropping back are outside linebackers and we're playing manhattan timezone half the time in the playoffs. We cut that out. We're playing totally different defenses. Where we're playing a lot more man to high safety stuff. We haven't been doing all all year from most part a lot of it and we're doing really well so i'm excited and it's almost like we've been here before you know this cartoon stuff like i think. A lot of coaches. Like sean mcvay really comes to mind but like you get into the playoffs and you're just completely outmanned and coach. It's a totally different. Beast man player so it is insurance and you can kind of see when that happens like toco like well. I got you sean. Mcvay super bowl where he gets his deer in the headlights. Walk in no idea what the hell shop floor in there too. That few goal with two minutes. You're like what are you doing. Yeah no could go for. Just go for four thousand eight year on. What twelve yard line. Just come arm. com are. But i'm glad they didn't. Who gives it back to tom. Brady with two minutes left. It's just and on that play. Where the last play of the game we needed. Six yard. godwin gets the ball and that was the one where originally mickens nichols was out there. And he's the one that gave that block on the edge that sealed the game that allowed godwin like all that riley. And i put it in a tipi of video. Our special teams. We had one play where mickens had a huge hole huge. He would give it a gone. Probably for a touchdown if we would have blocked. But as soon as he got up in that whole the guys block came got beat and they just surrounded him took him down. But i feel like pat. O'connor should not be all specialties. Hand that he was one of the block. Ryan smith lasalle run. Because i feel like so many plays like that. This season they've been on. Pat o'connor agree with you But then later in the game he ended up getting a good run back and it was great blocking all the blocking was blocking did. I was like god guys. Have y'all just you see what happens if you block all the time..

"Forward. That was interesting rodgers. When i say that they didn't play very well. Rogers was not making it very good decisions. A couple of those interceptions he threw. We're not very good decisions. Like the one where. Smb did that great interception. He had a tide and underneath. That was wide. Open you know. Was this a bad decision. On rogers part great interception on nelson bays part. I wanna take anything from him but rodgers. He's too cocky. He thinks he can get it in there and it was perfect. Throw but estimate was able to match but then there were two times in the end zone. There was at one where he threw it to atoms and it was short and then add didn't catch it anyhow. there was a wide open receiver. That brady didn't or aaron rodgers. Didn't see i think it was. I think it was thirteen. I think wasser lazard picking lazard covering out. And i wanna say it was twenty four fell down and so he was wide open in the end zone and then another time in the end zone. Same thing happened. I think it was a jamal. Eldeen fell down and his guy was wide open. That was when he threw it to davante adams and he landed out the end zone. He was all pissed off about it. Right there right in front of devante was a tight end. Totally wide open on earth. Santa how aaron encinas guys me neither. And that's what i'm saying. They just did not play well they had. They had a bunch of dropped balls bad route horrible coaching. You know we brought our a game. They brought their be minus game and that was really what one besides the fact that were awesome. Twenty six atoms. He came in for whitehead after whitehead got hurt played. Great play great. I mean you couldn't even tell that whitehead was out. I mean he was adams all over the field he was making tackles. He was a great position. It was it was great. It is you brought up. You'll talk about it the depth. Yeah i am just so impressed. And i really got the sense from your videos the quality of our depths and their readiness so we have used that mcclendon. He had come in it on one play. Made a good play at mike. Edwards was in on that same play made a play. of course. Mike started out that he started for my get words. Antoine winfield junior because we were missing. Have some bad words comes in maine place and then we also had s- tinny come in who it's only his what's game starting at great for i mean. Yeah exactly so great. So i'm just really impressed this year with the quality of our apps and just the readiness of these guys to step in whenever they're called. Yes yeah and you. You brought that up and i was like yeah. You know that's true. I mean we antonio. Brown brown's out. Scotty miller comes in touchdowns. Atoms plays great. For whitehead's he plays great for kappa edwards. Went white without of mentor. Mean they've all is really up third game this year and when we haven't injury although i was concerned that safety during the green bay game because we lost just so many is there but they all did step in and in general when we lose somebody. I'm not as concerned it's going to you. Gotta hand it to this coaching staff. And jason life for getting guys that are stepping in next man up and they're playing great so that's awesome. I mean vida vail went out and we're like it was a big blow but You know mcclendon. And nacho and these guys. They stepped up and you know. They didn't play horrible. The other plate above average. I would say they're elite like vida is put they filled in. Well yeah and like you said. Kevin minter played trait when he was in it is. It's amazing. how well prepared are second and third string guys are fifty eight to bear it. He dropped back into coverage one. Time and ninety eight dropped back into coverage wants. I was twice during this game that we had our backers do that. Why was saline up at inside linebacker. Like just jazz lineup weird. We like to do weird stuff on defense. And that's another thing with this team. You know i've been saying all year that it's really hard to tell what this defense is doing but pre snap post nap anything in the playoffs man. It's like it's gone through the roof. I will sit there. And i'll be i'll frame by frame into i'm like i have no idea what this defense is. You know it's hard to tell if it's manner cover your zone and usually that's the easy part you figure that out right away. I'll just be like what is this. It's it's yeah. We're throwing all kinds of crazy stuff out there. I'll get to that in a minute. So we we were not doing. The same are outside linebackers. Having all playoffs haven't been dropping them back in coverage like we have all season now. But what we're going to do in the super bowl. I don't know i can't we make. We have been playing some serious chess and winning our coaches of the door. Great job will get that in a second the one time that bear dropped back into coverage. They got a super bowl. All right they got a touchdown. I got a super bowl. They got to touch them. I think it the one where they went deep dan. I think it was adams on davis. I think it was that play a degree by. They have three dropped passes. We have sex and two of their three dropped passes were in the end zone. So between them dropped passes in the end zone and rodgers not seeing players in the end zone. They laughed three touchdowns on the field. I mean that's that's a hard pill swallow if you're a green bay packers fan when you win the game by five points now the offensive play calling saying all year long. You know we don't do a lot of adjustments. We do in play adjustments. And we don't when we started off. We were doing areas offense. You know a lot of this vertical stuff downfield but then as the season progressed we started doing we were thrown in more of the middle stuff to crossing routes the slams the drag routes all that good stuff. Now were always. It's almost fifty fifty. You know where. We're doing. Which i would say more brady brady bread and butter as crossing rows across the middle rounds but our offense are play calling in the playoffs has been masterful we we we knew we were going to the playoffs and we have been setting up. Plays all year long for the play offs for example. We have this play that we run all the time and we run. We run it probably ten ten times a game where we put a wide receiver in motion or tight end and then he stops behind the line. He's between the guard. The tackle or between the tackle in tied in and he becomes a lead blocker in the run. The the running back run behind him. He'll go between dolphins of lyman in trying to block on the second level..

Kevin minter thirteen five points Mike aaron rodgers mike Edwards fifty eight two Rogers nacho davis jason life Eldeen aaron encinas second two times ninety eight third game twice

"He did have one play where he just steamrolled. Lucas steam rolled right over top of and the guy had no no answer to him whatsoever but he was. He was generally pretty quiet but he you know he's very solid. He had a couple of times. We got knocked off his feet. He's he's just gotta get his game is game back on he's going to. He's going to be a dominant force in the super bowl. We're gonna talk about that. I mean the city's offensive line is nothing compared to the washing redskins offensive line that we played over the best that we played aussies nothing and green bay line. I think it's better than king sitting canes. We'll talk about this whole it'll be running for his life. No doubt about a anyhow. Yeah got to give credit to defensive line. They were the stars of the game. Surprisingly on offense godwin with great. Yeah he had one dropped pass. I gave him to originally. But like i said the second one i saw. He got his arms. Were being held down by the defender. I don't know how to call them. And then but he did so much good stuff you've done great blocking and made a great catches in that one. Nineteen yard catch. He caught on. I think it was the third down. Who is the speed tests circus. Cats you know antastic and he did that right after he dropped. Pass so on offense. I'm getting ya always give to brady. He just plays great. He's awesome quarterback he's the reason our offensive line played great. They gave us a lot more trouble than i expected. That guy kenny clarke number ninety seven good. Yeah he gave everybody on. Our offense allowed a hard time especially tiny steady. That brings me want to get to this. I was. I was going to bring it up in the fact checks. Follow so i forgot I love everybody's comments in our on our youtube videos and stuff. But i can't comment back. I don't know what it is with youtube but it doesn't allow me to comment back. I've tried five. Different browsers won't let me do it. Amal could do. You could do it on the on the app on the act right. I don't have the apple phones. So i can't come back to you guys adopt but i do appreciate all the comments especially the ones that are like this. Is these great videos. I'll look forward to these all week and all that good stuff. I love that. Appreciate a guys. I just wanna let you know that i'm not ignoring you. The means a lot to me to give comments where you get a little bit criticism and the one that we've gotten this week. I think we had a couple of people talking about my annunciation. Or my pronouncements of names drives people crazy. You are correct. I'm absolutely horrible about death and have been all my life. I'm just. I'm horrible at remembering names. Rows moms like that and taylor names from yeah She watched that movie with christina ricci. She's a keynote. The girl with the pig nose penal. Oh people yeah have. Y'all seen yet. We're what is took me about a second hour. And all that movie penelope okay but like you can say it like peanut yes. I'll blame bob for that. But i do. Butcher names always been horrible about it. And even when i get told the correct pronunciation noise ask road. I'm gonna say it the way. I want to say the say. Jamal deen all the time right. It's jamal and i've correct right. Nassib carl nasa. You saw calling the seib like that. I like to make up. Names of guys keith. Tandy always called teeth candy. It's just what i do. I'm going to try to get better at guys. Because i do understand. It is disrespectful players and it is aggravating. Some people like you know. I call Lazard all the way through the videos. I call him lizard. It's not lazard lazard. thank. I don't know i call. Is it because it reminds me a lizard. That's how i would say last earn. I had a girl in high school. Her name was berlin. And i don't know what it was but my brain can never spit that out. Always matt line and think everyone always likes me. Always number name and i just i just couldn't my brain just wasn't happening. Yeah well you know. It is disrespectful. And i used to only say numbers especially to the opponents. You know when. I do the video that's l. Here's forty-seven whatever and everybody was like all it'd be nice if you would say their names skin. I had the star. Say it's kind of understand why you never said the name right now. I hope they understand little better. I just call it. Outnumbers hard to mispronounce of member. So i'm going to get better guys. And i do appreciate any criticism. I i love criticism. There'll be a jerk about it. I don't know right molly does me. I love constructive criticism. So i will get better at that. I apologize to it What what. I have to do when i do these videos. I have a sheet up with all the opponent players and their positions. So i have to look up every time. Something happens. gonna go that. She'd find out now. I've got to get the pronunciations. So i think pro. Football reference has the pronunciations on there. So i think even have it where you could like. Listen to try to be a lot better for. It is a little bit. But we're work what it's better makes for a better video again. I do appreciate guys. Let me know all that. So anyhow laser any other steadier stymie steamy. Steady like phonetically. Can you just look at a target in trouble. Time lakes tiny as it would be like an e. I i was raised on hooked on phonics i was. It didn't exist for your language before. I was born brunch. Yeah he got kenny clarke ninety seven. He's very good. I mean he gave our offensive line a lot of trouble so did a fifty five the various. I think it was his name. Smith's their smith. Yeah he was bringing into the. They gave us a little bit more trouble than i expected. But tom brady is just so damn good at when he when he knows pressures comedy get smaller many throws throws you know he's not wanted in dirt. He's not throwing it away. He's throwing it you know to wear. It can be caught it. It's incredible how good he is that his pocket presence is just masterful elite elite level in my notes. I have that sixty forced the first series wasn't so good the saccone brady evans very strange play. They were deep and they did like a cross deep but they ended up running into each other playland desa few weeks ago where they like. I don't know if it was three or two or three. The receivers kind across like that in it ended up knocking the defenders into each other. It seemed like they were trying to do that but they instead. Yeah it's exactly what it looked like and gronk ended up on the ground which is funny ever does the big gaba gronk lot bigger but it was cracked it ended up on. The elliott slammed right into each other. And i think it gets kinda shocked brady. And that's and he got sacked because he was he was wait for that. Play to develop and when it happened. He was just plain. We got sacked immediately. Wasn't playing the there was but i think it was. Just i think everybody on the field was like whoa check. that out. trailer pointed out in the video. Also sue he'd lined up inside linebacker position. A handful of times. That was interesting. He would be the line linebacker about three or four yards normally. Where about david or devon white is when they snapped the ball. He'd rushed.

"Where people would argue about that. Because the broncos version that they showed you relate. Couldn't see and i think it was on the logo on the field. So the whoever got held johnson johnson under shirt was way and so when it got pulled out it was over the the part of the white logo. So you couldn't tell that the dude had his jersey but when you looked at another angle you could see blatantly. Like his shirt was pulled out in two feet from his body funding clo- he did sell it though. Johnson like flopped pulled the soccer player. He just flop ground. And all this. But i mean there were. There was plenty of stuff that they didn't call on green bay honestly though it was a pretty clean game. Both teams did well as far as discipline. Penalties are concerned the The refs. They did a pretty decent job. I gave them see minus twelve penalties that accounted so not not too horrible and i don't think green bay what what green bay fans need to be mad about. Is their team played like crap. Now you know we talk about this on the podcast all the time. Did we win. did we lose. Did they win today. Lose a did the rap student in this game. This is just like the new orleans game. Where i'm right on the line of man you know. They pretty much lost his game. I don't wanna take it away from us. I mean our defense played great office. We played great. Bay played like craft. And i don't know how much of it is. Just were beating the mess out of teams so bad that we're making them play matt but that fourth quarter field goal decision is probably one of the dumbest coaching decisions that i've seen in the nfc championship understand that. Like even if you make the field goal you still push them. What the hell was the point of. That was tom dom. And that's what green bay fan should be mad about and also green bay didn't play that great in the first time we played them said that in my notes that we do they brought their see game and i would say that on this one to they what we were getting to aaron rodgers so good that they had to adjust their whole game and they just started throwing these quick darts quick darts. And just not really. You just couldn't sit back there and wait for these long passes downfield. We couldn't wait for the plane to develop. Now this. This game had probably the most deep balls. I've ever seen in a championship game between the both teams mommy. We were just talking down the field. They were chunking it down the field but it wasn't like they they were rogers was just sitting back there and skiing the field now. He was doing his five seven step drops and then just chocolate because we were right. There are defensive line playing white gray all the way across the board soup play. Great sue with fight with people after the place to never see that from him. I mean he was. He was chip and guys pushing aaron after the place to the couple times. Yeah he walked by here and after he got sacked and you could see was saying something to mcclendon played. Great nacho played. Great gallstone played great barrett in the j. p. v. They were just killing it. Seventy seven and seventy one. Were just getting beat. All game long it was seventy seventy seven was turner we would. We talked about whether only turned her. Billy billy turner left tackle and j just walked up on all game by the way smile. Oh yeah you got to jp jersey. Good that you rub it of listeners taste. That's what the that's what j jersey sounds like. This is what we're going to wear super bowl sunday. I'll i've got my mind nike elite. Tom brady peter jersey. Stitched nice steph. Though i feel like i'm wearing body armor so jp and they apm barrett were the keys of the game. They just they just boy offense of line they were i i sent to our. I watched the pat mcafee interview with iran's Yesterday after a yeah we watched it together was like forty five minutes of air. Rhonda's mcafee asked him at one point. He was like how you feeling. You're getting hit a lot. Air rogers was like they got a good defense man. We were just their offensive line. Had no answer to us at all in again. It was so much i want to talk about the strategy behind all this. We did the same thing where we didn't push hard until the second half and in the second half we just on leased it was like we were analyzing in seeing the weaknesses on their offensive line. Then the second half it was just it was a free for all but in the first half. We were getting to him. You know and it was almost like we weren't even trying and we were getting to them ropes but yet second half again we didn't. We were just killing it. Gotta give those guys series props and it wasn't and vida now vida excited to see him come back disappointed that he didn't do as much. But you know as vita. He didn't play bad by any stretch with imagination somewhere samsung. They said he was going to got thirty three. Yeah i was expected about twenty so that was great any any. He looked like he was in good football position. A little slow look to me like he gained weight. Although they said he he happened but he looked a little little. Love handles. were a little bit bigger hanging out jersey. but he has shrunk seymour's washed in hot water rights but he didn't dominate the way i expected him to. You didn't play by any means. But he he just he's so good he just getting that push. I would watch him in an whoever was playing opposite of him on the defensive line whether it was su mcclendon notch or whatever and not vita would get he'd be three yards in the backfield pushing his guy and whoever else was on the other side. You know they'd be yarn. Maybe or right. At the line of scrimmage this is you can't stop the guy can't stop him and you giving to three seconds. He's going to be at your quarterback while he's carrying the offensive line. It's gonna tackle you with your arms to like bear hug you..

"Today is last day january january thirty first twenty twenty one still talking about football still talking about football. We're going to the about how we are. Good don't go to the super bowl and raymond james stadium. First time that's ever happened. Homefield advantage which we talked about this. As a matter of fact we got some stuff queued up to get some receipts. The i think the day that we signed brady. We said we're going to super bowl. We're going to host it in ramey to have home field advantage for the first time in super bowl history boom. So it's gonna be interesting. Because the came to city chiefs. They play on grass field too similar to ours. So it's not gonna be that much of an advantage we're not gonna be allowed to have the cannons going off when we score. They're going to try to do everything they can to not give us home field advantage. But we're gonna have home field advantage because we're used to the field and we get to be an arnold locker room in our locker room. That's right so. I hope they put bedbugs in the visiting room and put paint everything pink and make extremely uncomfortable possible. They play Rick royal they should work role on through the whole thing plane on repeat in the locker room in the locker room everywhere. You know. i'm of two minds of that. Psychologically do you wanna make the opponents locker room extremely miserable or do you wanna make it extremely comfortable because if you make very comfortable then they're going to want to go back in the locker room you know they're going to be because you know if it's comfortable and then they go out the harsh conditions a lot worse than if it's harsh conditions and go out to not as harsh so well. Somebody put up the weather forecast and it was forecast to me like seventy six degrees on neck. It's snowing where we live. I know six degrees east. What is wrong with the weather man. I know kids. The city gets cold and they get snow so it's going to be like vacation for them. It's local be a vacation when they get there but team. I hope that they enjoy the local all spots before i get to strip clubs komo now work. I mean. give a discount to kim city player. Whatever you tickets. Yeah but they have tickets and strip club. I don't know never ever those up we've got a good show for you today No checks followups. Do we molly okay. Perfect bat thousand again. We're going gonna discuss mainly we're going to discuss. Discuss the nfc championship game. Went through all twenty twos. We're gonna talk about that a little bit. We're going to avoid talking about the super bowl. You know too much because we wanna do a full series of shows on apps and we're going to try to retain as much as possible not let everything out of the bag all at once wanting to the teeth anyway. So it's kind of fresh on my mind. Woke up while he texts me for safety. Take me watching. Takeda buffalo game well and i had already had a cup of coffee so kicked in. I was ready to go have full conversations. Ralph is still dragging out not running. She was just. I love coffee yet. The buffalo game of so weird. We didn't talk about this but we're we're at the bar. There was like twenty buffalo fans that came in for the after game and me molly. We were a little tipsy. And a little cocky. I think a lot lot tipsy. And i was like trying to be friend the buffalo fans. You know i'm like. I want you all to win so the tom brady can beach allegations. I know y'all been hate for twenty years. It just be nice for us to be on the super bowl for the fifth time and those people they were the most oppressed group of fans. I've ever seen it was. It was ever like zombies and and the like no. I contact the first quarter so they weren't losing yet. Yeah well even before the game started. I was talking to a couple of them and they were just so down in depressed. I was like what are you. You're in the chairmanship ship be happier. They were just to let us sad sad fan base when we should've stayed there for the whole game. 'cause i watch them. The salt mining would have been like cleveland fans get beat up findings kind of like. Oh feel sorry. I know who doesn't it added. We got some news to we want to cover news first and we want to go over the green bay game Let's go ahead and go over the game wall cap it off with some news. Okay if you haven't had a chance to check it out. I got the things. I found interesting. Videos up tiffany's check them out on youtube. It's only two parter. Which kind of surprised me. I thought it'd be a little bit more stuff to point out. Of course. I don't point out everything i found interesting. I probably about three quarters. Maybe half of the stuff you know because some of the things. I find interesting. I don't think anybody else find interesting. Like i definitely don't put all penalties in their uncalled penalties. Thank thing this game that all agreed fans were screaming about which you know. If i'm thinking about it. I would have screamed about that too just so we'd have an excuse as to why we lost. Well they were wrong. I mean it's yeah. There was some penalties that we did that. They should've called but there was much more penalties on their part that they can get called the the chris otten i had candidate as a dropped pass but after reviewing it he got hit in his arms. It was it was deep. Bombed down the sideline the right sideline and the defender hit is our before the ball got there knocked his arms down. I mean it wasn't like extremely blatant like he did it like seconds before he got there but it was definitely. You could see it and chris. Goblins couldn't couldn't lift his arms up to catch the ball because the defender had his arm draped and there was a referee standing five feet away staring at them. I don't how he didn't call that. But i like the way the refs or calling in the playoffs. They're always much more hands off. Let the guys play. And they're doing a pretty decent job with it this year. But you know there's some some place where you just come onto you know but there was the third down play in the fourth quarter when needed to stop us and they got called for defensive. Pass interference. I was definitely. I mean the guy was feeling.

"The success of the team continued with championships in nineteen thirty six nineteen thirty nine and nineteen forty four team. Founder president and head coach curly lambeau retired in one thousand nine forty nine and it marked the beginning of the worst period in the history of the team in nineteen fifty. The team raised one hundred and eighteen thousand dollars and put limits on the number of shares. Any one person could own despite the horrible records in the nineteen fifties. There was still support for the team in the community in one thousand nine hundred eighty six. The citizens of green bay approved a referendum to provide public funds for the creation of a new stadium. That stadium city stadium was later. Renamed lambofield upon the death of curly. Lambeau nine hundred and sixty five and it still used by the packers today. It is the oldest continuously use stadium in the nfl. The terrible years of the fifties ended in one thousand nine hundred eighty nine with the hiring of the man who would dramatically turned the franchise around and who many consider the greatest football coach in history. Vince lombardi under lombardi. The packers went from their worst decade to their best in one thousand nine fifty eight. The packers went one ten and one and in nineteen fifty nine. They went seven and five in nine years as the packers head coach. He won five. Championships was runner up. Once in one the first two super bowls he had seventy five percents. Winning percentage in the regular season ended ninety percent winning percentage in the postseason his teams in nineteen sixty five nine hundred sixty six and nineteen sixty seven. Were the second packer team to win three championships in a row to date. The packers are the only team to ever want to three peat in the nfl and they've done it twice. The trophy presented to the winner of the super bowl is called the vince lombardi trophy after lombardi retired in nineteen sixty eight. The team once again went into a funk the seventies were almost as bad as the nineteen fifties however this time the nfl was changing. The nfl was becoming a big business and the small town. Packers were being left behind in the nineteen eighties. The general consensus was that the packers weren't long for this world and at a minimum. They should move to milwaukee which is ninety minutes away..

"Is only one hundred four thousand seven hundred and seventy seven people only recently and just barely crossing the one hundred thousand population threshold to get an idea of just how much an anomaly. Green bay is among cities with sports teams. The entire green bay metropolitan area has only three hundred and eighteen thousand people. The next smallest city with a major sports team in north. America is winnipeg manitoba. If you were to double the population of the entire green bay metro area they would still be twenty percent smaller than winnipeg. Green bay is only the two hundred ninety seven largest city in the united states. The packers stadium has the third largest capacity in the nfl holding over eighty. One thousand people or seventy seven percent of the entire population of the city of green bay. So what does a city like this doing. With an nfl franchise. And why is some podcast. An owner of an nfl franchise it all has to do with history. In the early twentieth century. The american variant of football was becoming quite popular. College teams had been playing for several decades and there was a movement to create a professional league similar to how there was a professional league for baseball players in one thousand nine hundred nine. Two green bay. Residents earl curly. Lambeau and george whitney. Calhoun tried to raise funds to start a local professional team. They raised five hundred dollars from lambeau employer the indian meat packing company on the condition that the team name themselves after the company and that is how they became the packers. They're named after meatpackers in one. Twenty the indian packing company was purchased by the acme packing company and the team changed their name to the acme packers in nineteen twenty one. The team applied for a membership in the new american professional football association. The league was mostly teams from small cities in middle america. There were teams. Like the akron pros the canton bulldogs. The columbus panhandles the dayton triangles and the toledo. Maroons all of which have been disbanded. The only teams which still exists from this early. Nfl precursor are the decatur. Stanley's now known as the horrible chicago bears and the chicago cardinals which are now the arizona cardinals in one thousand nine hundred eighty two the changed its name to the national football league. The reason why so many of the early teams failed was due to financial problems. The packers face the same problems that every other early. Nfl team did however the.

"Postseason and Sex settle six six and three of them for us so half the interceptions in almost half the sacks their whole season are from manson like enemies. Yes so you you. Everybody watching these games. That were really haven't followed. The buccaneers are thinking. Oh you know. Tom brady mike evans. Antonio brown cronk hausky. But that's not what's been winning us. These playoff games been our defense. So i think you're right. People are gonna watch this. It'd be holy cramp. Who were these guys you. Their defense is a really good You know and it's good. Because i don't want us to win the super bowl and every set. Everybody say all was because of tom. Brady you know. I mean it. Tom brady is a huge factor in it was wrong but his defense is good in our hall. Offensive line is get. Our run game is good. I was he was a good. We've got a good team so well rounded teams and it's not even you know it's not the main players on special teams. That are actually quite good. I mean bradley. Pinon stylish socks presence solid. We finally kicker and we broke. That matt ryan merce. It's kind of the other guys in the trenches so for the liability to be like that far now. Great and i was thinking about that. It's perplexing meal years to why are special teams kicking pont tackling blocking has been. Not you know It leased average. It's a little blow. Arizona only part of our team where you were not above average and i think it's because bradley painting is so good at kicking. It do the enzyme that they just don't practice tackle a lot on spent on kickoff town. Yeah they're just like what he's not going to in. That's what new orleans dead with his name. Devante devante harris harris. He would catch the ball. Five six seven yards deep in the end zone. Run out so if they do that. But i think in this game they. We didn't have a single kickout. Kickoff return the the packers we had like one hundred yard kickoff couple of So you know like you said if that's if that's the worst the weak link on your team is that the second stringers on special teams. Don't give enough effort. Yeah and it. And it's not the thing is that the effort hasn't there but it's just you know it's not a a A primary thing to spend a lot of energy on yeah. I'm real excited about it to the chiefs it's going to be. It's going to be extremely interesting to see what todd bowles. Dow's up against them because he has every game in defense dialed up. You know a different defense that we played all year long again on this one. We didn't drop any of our outside linebackers in the thing. I mean we might have added. Say that actually i did see. It wasn't o'connor nelson saw a drop back in coverage but bear it. I don't i don't recall seeing him we. We didn't do it a lot if we did do it. Seems like we stuck with a lot of man coverage again. So i dunno. I'm really excited all right. We're at an hour. We could sit here and talk about this all day long. But we're gonna try to save some. We're really low energy today and happier the last time. I'm not distracted this time. So i was like okay. Let's get asking us to upload the drunk want this time and you know. We kinda mitigate that by noddy owner according lines. Well i wanted to. But the game came on reticence. We got home. So i was like we gotta watch this game and then by the time the games are we were just like the busy dips are batman because that would have been good where we were. We were three sheets to the wind cable and immediately got on the couch bundled up and ate the rest of her bar food. She loves martha and like later tonight. I'm like hey. Did we bring the leftovers home. She was like yeah eat. Some of it. I go in there. There was one born cheese stick and one hot wings. Didn't even yeah. You didn't even eat any of the highway. I was like. Why did you leave. This pissed me off the tees man all right. Yeah so so. We're not getting divorced. We're still together and a. We're very happy about the buccaneers. Go super bowl as well as all the buccaneer fans are. Gosh we're gonna get so many fans it's going to be great and we. We preach about this and we haven't done it as much lately. But you know the the reason why you want a big fan base is because then you get more primetime games you know you get more viewership you get you get more attention in the national media and all that good stuff because we look at dallas cowboys dallas cowboys suck for a decade and third still getting prime time games. Yeah yeah and uh you get players at wanna come to teams that have large fan bases and all that stuff so it helps out. It's it's it's it's vital to have a big active fan. So i'm really excited that we're going to show up in super bowl and just gather more fans you know you know people that watched that game last night that were not fans of team or we're looking for a team dirt buccaneer fans now because avalanche gray performance buys manson gray catches a great runs of great defense. Good tag tagolu. Aaron rodgers is aaron rodgers. Hang love it all right. We're going to wrap this up while you got anything else. Say okay gotta the kansas city chiefs coming up We got a lot of podcast between now and they're gonna kick out videos You know what. I get all twenty two out of the way. I'll be free to delve into some fun stuff that we don't normally do so that'll be interesting excited about it. Two weeks man two weeks long two weeks all right. It's the next time guys..

Someone commented on whatever has about a how one of us is always super excited during the charm and one is not. I'm just gonna say it's not that i'm not excited as because i have no rhythm and and that's yes it normally what's that i don't dance. She does jessica rhythm or our kids can keep time with anything but molly can't at all. It's very very strange so she can't listen as well as things. You can't listen to anything in a delay and also she can't listen. You can't listen to music without hearing the lyrics to like you can't focus out the lyrics. Oh yeah like on one instrument Right yeah you can't do that very strange anyhow. What a intro. That was. We are extremely hung over. Everyone who. I was all like worse than last like white last week ever. Yeah yeah the tomorrow. We'll be i'm exhausted. I am just exhausted. I was so amped yesterday. We were so nervous before the game. You know we was close to the point of throwing up and we get there in a game started. It was so much energy. I'm payson ser. So i had the whole back end at a bar but i just walked back and forth back and forth probably got three miles of stepping in took more took must step and chatter. I was not nervous until i got on twitter and had to read all you. Mother fuckers nervous and yummy nervous. I was. I was fine until on twitter early thirty minutes before the game and then i was freaking out. Yeah we did. A lot of drinking tequila shots next for a super bowl. We gonna do crown. That's his drink round oil crowning coke. So that's what. I'm drinking from super all and maybe we'll need some shots while say we suggest everybody drink crown and karaoke next weekend for the weekend after next two weeks. Two weeks thirteen days. Man is going to be a crazy thirteen days. I'm wearing my forty seven. John lynch jersey in respect for the previous buccaneer winning team. I think i've got quite a few jerseys from that team and adult. I don't wear them that often anymore. I moved on to more current players and stop. So i'm gonna. I'm gonna rock old school jerseys for this week. Probably and i'm wearing my pewter tampa bay. Tom brady jersey for the super i think. Are you gonna wear your jason pierre. Paul jersey remiss. That's so nice. Made that he rocket out helmet barrett. And you know. I wanted to say this because you know. I love getting receipts. I wanted to say this in our preview that barrett and jp. We're going to have a great game. You just knew it. Yeah well with vida back and you know what i told you that right after we did the podcast i said man. I didn't say anything about barrett. And they did man. They showed a bear. It was just about every play. He was getting to brady couple times. He he got right at one. Time even hit his arm causing eric. Pass got three sacks tape got to. I mean vida joke on the stat sheet at all but he was so impactful anyway it so much fun watch. Every time he was in there. I was just watching him. And he just dominates lineman just dominates them. They're just totally unprepared And you know our defense stepped off. Man stepped it up. We yeah at the beginning of the year before the season started we were. His defense is going to be the best of bosnian. You know the first half of the year killing it and then it went after beat out and here during the playoffs even without beat them and they have been on fire washington game. Not too much you know but that was. I think that was a lot to do with you. Know we didn't have a game film on heineke and he just played an excellent game so he actually played a better game than drew brees. And a-rod both. Yeah a crazies. That yeah i think we. I think we 'cause aaron rodgers to think about retirement. Oh my gosh. That post game press conference was so depressed with them. Yeah i mean he looked down. He looked down. He just and i mean you emotional right after a game like this in a loss like this but i mean he was like i need to take some time away and think about things that you're sitting the whole thing. He kept yelling at me. Aaron rodgers could retire. I also would not be shocked. Becomes back you know it. It's just an emotional thing but just for him to be considering it at all. I think it's kind of a big tell. Lot of people. were talking about the penalties. You know that we. The salty packers fans on twitter was talking about penalties and actually runner cincinnati in his press conference. So the rudders. They are right to a degree. The refs really let the guys play. They didn't we. We had two penalties on us. One sue offsides another one. Smb got a personal foul for learners helmet which i just hate that rule it so again. It's another one of those objective rules or subjective rules where sometimes it has no and but that but other than that we didn't have any other penalties and that didn't happen until the second half way they hadn't thrown a single flag until the second half penalties for eleven yards or something and they have four for thirty so yeah very clean very clean gay but the refs did let a lot of stuff slot was holding. We saw plenty of holding. Saw a false starts that they didn't call both on us and on the packers. I saw some defensive pass. Interference call Intentional grounding on rogers didn't call of course. Oh man i yell at the bar like that wasn't edge. No grounding in the pocket right out of the enzyme can't do that A face mask..

Aaron rodgers aaron rodgers eleven yards yesterday tomorrow last week thirty second half this week two penalties three sacks four forty seven three miles jessica next weekend twitter one both one goal

"Would just. Hey that would be five super bowls that they've lost they have never won the superbowl. I don't think they've gone four times. They went four times in. Lost will be five times. Wow wow so that. That'd be a great story line there. I think that'd be a better story line then but see here we are. We're talking about the skip. It over the packers man coach. Sorry what you know. And i think another thing with the rams lake how the packers beat the rams last week was they. I mean they got to go off a lot and that is not happening with us. Like they're not getting past our offense offense. Wine will need them if they do. Brady yeah you know. He's he's just. He's just very hard to tackle and cossack frazzle. Yeah we say this. You know like brady just going to do it. But you know. Every quarterback has their off days. But this We have just way too many eat players great coaches every even if brady doesn't play well you know which i think so. The we're talking about turnovers earlier we are now at a plus twelve. Whoa in turnover ratio. But they are The packers are an a plus seven. Now close yeah. Seven eight five down. Yeah yeah but they. There's were not interceptions. Were fumbles so right. Yeah yeah. Rogers does not throw interceptions and we are ten and no when we want when we win the turnover battle sweet voice. We a great tournament. That devon white intercession was so beautiful. And then the vaughan david baton pass catching it. And then jamal dean's interception was beautiful man. Smp's interception or winfield punching the ball out right into devon would bounce right up to seven whitesands. The defense plays like this. There's no question it's going to. It's going to be s. No doubt about all right. I have the out just a little side note. I watched the mic'ed up from last week. The whole front the whole league and air. Rhonda's was miked up and there crime worse so much worse. That matlin floor is such a beta. Like i do not understand. Only isn't like i don't know how they respect. I don't think they do like. I know it's a first of all. He looks like a model. That and that's the same thing when shopping do not get. I don't get it. How do you get the respect of these guys. You should have scars and missing teeth and stuff. Just it's just the sport and like peak masculinity and you have a bunch of ways that are you know sport it's competition it's testosterone. And then you have these beta males on the. I don't get it but Well that's always been a thing with me and coaches you know like even bruce arians. How can you have these coaches. That are so out of shape. Andy reid yes. You're you crack me up with you. Were talking about. Bruce arians came. He said he's wearing a maternity dress. Fake it won't. You said that. I could not see who looked like maternity dress. A i pac man. He was looking rough on the sideline in after the after game conference. I was really worried about him. I was like maybe he looks bad but it must have been the lighting solemnly. Probably he's got a lot of red undertones anyway so alcohol. I now okay. I'm like after the injury report. Then we wrap it up fast all right antonio brown his out lane. He's not playing now. He didn't know that now they're worried. About what the plane ride his swelling. I guess the same shit. Where roge- joe i don did with last week interesting so that means uh scott. He'll be out there in johnson. Both of them. Johnson quite catch. Yeah social media keeps replay and from all the different angles. There was there. Were so many. Plays in this game where i went this was. This was the play that sealed the game. I made a few plays later. This was the plane sealed. The game that that one. I was a third and eleven and he caught that there was just like. Oh we got to kind of okay. Winfield got hurt. Apparently in practice. Thursday i guess because he did not practice friday he is questionable. Did it what. What's the injury Ankle mike evans with his knee. Injury was limited all week. He's fine chris godwin with a quad injury. He's limited all week. He's gonna play Ronald jones with the quad and the finger. He was limited wednesday and thursday and it was a full participant on fridays. And he's got to go jeremiah. Ledbetter returned practices week with the calf injury and he was a full participant all week. We've got our whole defensive line back yeah aly. Maher pet has a pec injury but was a full participant. All week sean murphy bundy and has a quad slash ankle injury and he was limited wednesday and thursday but a full participant on friday. Tape ep with his knees. He did not he and actually his knee. He's listed with a knee injury and then slash not injury related and he did not practice all week but he doesn't need. Sue had his veterans day off on friday. So he's fine. And then jordan whitehead had a knee injury. He was limited wednesday thursday but a full participant on friday. They had me scared every second. I was like winfield and whitehead are gonna be out. Oh my god. That'd be disastrous. Yeah i i haven't heard any more about so antonio brown's only one that's for sure correct and then winfield's listed as questionable so i don't know we'll see On the packers side. They've got like as many guys as we do. I think maybe a little bit more defensive. Linemen kingsley kiki. A has a concussion. He was limited Wednesday and thursday and the not participate. Fridays of he is out and then cornerback. Kevin king has a back injury. He did not participate. Friday and he is questionable. Says why backer chris. Barnes has a thumb injury. He was limited all week There ticker his backup. Rookie alcott kick.

jamal dean Kevin king five times Andy reid Friday Thursday Wednesday bruce arians friday wednesday last week Bruce arians Johnson Ronald jones Rogers Sue chris godwin jordan whitehead thursday Ledbetter

"He had just gotten their right to. So he was a free agent and he signed with Seattle and then via got hurt he with Seattle's practice squad because basically he's on the practice squad to get in football shape it's not like he's staying there. But instead of eating up a roster spot, Seattle's keep on the practice squad and then the buck said, hey, you know we we don't we need you. You don't have to get in football shape if you don't want to. Play shape you're right now off. This role, this role towards the quarterbacks Nike snacks But yeah, he said, no, he's like no I like where am and I'm GonNa stay which is something that you know like snacks when he may be eligible for the practice squad except for this year, right? Right. So it's just something you know as fans you're not used to seeing where it's like, Hey, you wanna come play for NFL roster. Making grand a week like. You can come over here for three weeks minimum and make fifty six, grand a week, right? No, no, no, I'm good these. Twenty four grand for one, hundred, and fifty. Grand. Exactly. I I don't know I even with with having the career that you know these guys have in banking up to have I'd I'd have a hard time without I really would Oh, to talk about how much you know it is like you said, it's all about how much money you have and. It is. It really is because I remember I. Think I was in high school I you the Bill Gates story reporter in the ranch you have told me but you have not told her listeners now that you've said it you gotta say it. So go ahead. Okay This was back in high school. When Microsoft, I hit it big and Bill Gates Bill Gates and he wasn't quite as richly is now but he was very very rich and he bought this big ranch in Montana and he paid over market value whatever that was we'll say like it was worth. Three point two million dollars and he paid like eight point, four million dollars and the reporters charted. You know rhythm him going Oh. Great. GonNa pay like three times. You know the going rate and Bill Gates looks down he goes that's like couch change to me, and then he just told the guys like I set this guy up for life him and his family for generations. You know I'm doing this guy a favor. I'm being a nice guy and you're sitting here calling me a dumb dumb. You know like like that couple of billion dollars is going to meet a lot more of that guy than it does to me. That's kind of what is with snacks for you and me like twenty, four grand. That's you know I'll take it one, hundred and fifty. Grand Oh. Yeah. Definitely. Take that. What are you have to do? I have to move for three weeks? Yes. Like Sleeping Hotel be fine I'll sleep in my car like. For, three weeks sleeping my car for three weeks. One hundred and fifty grand. Yeah. So you know it's all about which got apparently just see you guys know this is the buccaneers are not the only team that snack that has reached out to him, and they are not the only team he has rebuffed guy. Worried. But one of those teams that did reach out to him was the Green Bay packers who the Tampa Bay, buccaneers obviously are facing tomorrow. Sunday, whatever what are you guys listening to? This will be tomorrow. So and you're listening to it now rights which hello to everybody who is listening to a now. Let's see here. Hey, Ren We finally got an update on a guy named Justin. Evans yes. Yes. I did I ask I, watched it live for those who are not watching the video podcast. I am putting the word updates in air quotes. Now. Earlier I did a paraphrase today. I. Would like to in this particular case. I would like to quote be A. Okay. We think he's getting better hasn't done any well, he's running a little bit that's it. Can. You say something had been tricky he said it's funny is Justin Evans. Injury is funny. It's like it's a funny one. We thank getting better. We think he's getting better. He hasn't done any. Well, he started running a little bit. That's your update folk update guys. So everybody other who continues to ask about Justin Evans. That's it which no one does anywhere. No one cares anymore now that will feel as soon as they can let them go. They're probably gonNA cut them right. I don't know. I think they'd like to keep them around and as long as it's not messing up the CAP I. Fine with that but you know you might be right. You know it's just one of those things where they have to wait till he's not injured and then cut him but no one cares anymore because winfield came out and was having a great rookie year. So in Whitehead's doing good enough but let me ask you this that could change by the end of the year. Let me ask you this Cheryl. Remote Winfield. There's Whitehead. Yes. Mike Edwards. Indra on all the other guys if Justin Evans could come back to the health in the in the play that he gave us before he got injured right who would you rather have playing opposite of Antoine? Winfield would it be just in Justin Evans or do you like one of these other guys better? Gosh. It's keeping migrants in been football since October twenty eighteen Gavin I can't quantify that someone's going to act like like he directly what he was when he let..
