"It. I've got to get into my glutes today. You want some of those pants? My wife have thank you saying, I need the back and say that I didn't say it's time for small brain drain the swamp of Washington. We're gonna have fun doing it. We're all doing it. Well, it looks like they are putting together another stimulus bill in Washington, but what will be in it? Who the heck knows? Mark Ramel. Art knows that's who knows Mark. What's going on. Yes. So we understand that right now, Negotiations are ongoing between Senate Republicans and the Trump Administration. Ryan hours very Where should say Senate Republican leadership right now, because a lot of the details that's in this bill, you know much of the Senate Republican best of them haven't even seen yet, But at this point we understand there are some key agreements in place. For example, money for schools on reopening for schools, money for testing and related federal agencies in response to covert 19. Those things appear to be in place a team east in principle, but there are still some serious issues that need to be resolved, particularly When we talk about the $600 a week unemployment insurance and the money that many people have been, depending on in this tough time when they're out of work, the GOP says they don't want to do that $600 a week unemployment insurance anymore. It's set to expire at the end of the month. They're pushing for a 70% wage replacement program. While Pelosi and the House has said she's committed to $600 a week, so that seems to be a sticking point right now in terms of moving this bill forward, But these are the two key issues that Treasury Secretary Mnuchin said the administration is focusing on schools and unemployment. Sounds like they have one of those, but the 2nd 1 is still an issue is that argument over the unemployment? The 70% wage replacement versus a set amount is that I guess an attempt to push back on some people who were less willing to go backto work because they were making more money on unemployment. That's what the GOP has been saying, which is probably an oversimplification of things. However, it is possible and I think there are well known area certainly cases where people made more money by getting the unemployment through their state, Plus that $600 a week then they did at their jobs. However, this issue of the 70% on a wage replacement is very tough. Part of the reason that Congress originally allocated $600 a week was because it's simple because it's a flat rate, the state Unemployment offices could essentially just apply that and move forward and you can think back to march with how much difficulty there wasn't people getting checks at a time when there's millions of people filing for these claims. Ah, flat rate is pretty easy. Now. Imagine the difficulty here in trying to calculate for every one of those claims that we had another 1.4 million this week. Imagine trying to calculate that 70% of what your wages for every one of those people, and there's a lot of questions about what the details are about this. What is 70% mean? Does that mean it's 70% of what you learned in the most recent quarter isn't 70% of what you learned in the last year s so that the details of this are not out. But this is what the GOP is pushing for. And they've been saying that it's to counter what they believe are cases of people not wanting to go back to work because they're making more on unemployment with regard to the school's issue. There was a hearing today about reopening schools wasn't there. There was I did not actually monitor that. But there was a hearing about that. And obviously this remained the key issue. In terms of the stimulus bill. The planet is occurring right now and what we understand they have an agreement in principle is the House had wanted $100 billion for schools Mnuchin off that too, $105 billion we understand that a TTE least 70 billion of that's the sizable chunk of that would go to K through 12 education, some of that on a per capita basis and some of it on a need basis, as schools may seem higher costs and things like that that they need extra money for so that And in the rest of that that extra 30 some odd $1,000,000,000 left would go to higher education. That's our understanding of the agreement right now. Oh, and then the payroll tax was also an issue Is that effectively dead payroll tax a payroll tax cut. Right, right. That appears to be gone. Mnuchin today seem to confirm that in President Trump tweeted that the Democrats don't want it that it's you know their fault that they're not going to go for it. Essentially, however interesting thing Here is there's been a number of Republican senators who have spoken out against the payroll tax cut, Grassley, Cornyn. Senator soon, for example, and Mnuchin said that the reason that they decided Tio pivot off the payroll tax cut is because they wanted to focus on getting direct payments to people getting money in people's Hands quicker. But again, this kind of goes back to that If you bring in the 70% wage replacement, what kind of logistical trouble is that going to cause? And is that going to delay getting money in people's hand and again? One more thing to mention here, the stimulus checks the checks that people are hoping to get. We don't know much details about those who will get them and these kinds of things yet these were just not things that we've seen. Yet as the bill hasn't been released, but it's possible we'll see that soon. It's possible that they also might release this stuff in multiple bills. There might be a build tailored for schools. There might be a Bill Taylor for unemployment and stimulus, So we have yet to see. Mark. Thank you. We appreciate it. Yeah. Thank you about Mark Hamill are there with the latest when we come back? 01 more thing about that bill, one of the things that could be included in this bill. Is a deduction for business meals to 100% increasing in 200%. It's at 50% right now they're suggesting that that Alone could be a huge boost to the restaurant industry to make to encourage people for these business meals to go out and spend money at restaurants, more swamp watch, and we come back to Gary and Shannon and Layla has the latest.

"What do you think with the Susan Collins? You think she's gonna win? Twenty twenty now now I think she'll she might have gone too far. I don't see very strong Arden. I think she may have overplayed her hand in possibly even be running. Again, it's hard to say could be what we saw was her like, you know, planning your exit to be a lobbyist. Do knows. I, I think she'll probably go down that this. Here's other thing as Dyer's right now. Kavanagh reporting done that they should start done. Assuming Democrats can get any kind of hold in any chamber or any level of government, their stuff to expose it will be exposed and those supported him will suffer for it. He won't be impeached. That's not gonna happen, but those who supported him will be tied to it forever. I do think I grew here that this is a short term high. I don't think it's gonna last because one of those things when the does settles and more and more information comes out when more and more. Reflected when more people see what happened when they when the emotional high with draws its Dr Ford's testimony. It's his testimony in court, like it's the supreme court is now known as someone who has Cavanaugh on it. And Debra, Debra Ramirez there, the witnesses that they didn't investigate people will come up. It'll be more stories and the fact that Republicans double down Grassley Cornyn Collins like this stuff will add up. It's not even that, like I think that the lines are drawn part issued Cavanaugh is that the people support him didn't care if he's actually solved someone, will they still that's not gonna change your vote? Yeah, but we'll also come out, for instance, his involvement in stealing democratic politicians documents to us as part the Bush nistration that will not more and that hopefully still matters. I think it's still matters. I don't think you know the department thinks he has some shame in worries about his legacy in worries about the credibility of the court. I don't think he cares. He Kevin, I am simplifying a bit here, but nothing Kavanagh's done is that impress like he is impressive because he's worked. Political connections has a lot of ties to powerful jurists who can feed quirks through them. He has good allies. He has a really strong network as we seen, but he's never. I still don't see what about him possibly may when that he was spring court caliber level, judge I like beer. I'm nothing stupid. Yeah. Sorry. Sorry. In fact, who doesn't love you goes, I worked my butt off and your grandfather was like, he's buried at you and that also kind of helped. Yeah, it's it's, you know, people need this propaganda. They need the myth of meritocracy to kind of lull themselves in themselves thinking that everything's equal and they got by on merit and to ignore the deep systemic injustices in inequality where fifty one percent of the population. Women does do the same amount of work, but get paid. Less and woman comes up with credible testimony where she's helpful. She's calmed, is intelligent, is helpful, is willing and open to anything for the investigation. And then her the accused gets to be belligerent angry. Tell like it is not answer questions, lie under oath, a talk back to senators and he gets appointed to the supreme court because of course all about merit. If it wasn't him. It wasn't cabinet. It would be another conservative jurist in many respects the be the same, but like it would be more bearable if it wasn't him on the court does not this sexual salting lying Pissy little dude, wanna port. There'd be like it would be a little more bearable, but it has. It has to be Cavanaugh Cavanaugh warrant extreme version of this power. He'll support Trump we're going now that's, and that's why people forget. And also Trump is in BuzzFeed. Just came out really good article that people to read about today that Trump people forget Trump gets to appoint his replacement Cavanaugh is or was a very powerful federal judge in Washington DC and that judge will have power over basically deciding there's a case coming over Robert, right? And so it all works out really well and and Cavanaugh based on his own writings is the one who has the most expensive view of presidential power and immunity. And so if you're Trump and your an unindicted, co-conspirator..

"Happen, whether Dr forts who were miss Ramirez, and people are specifically named who were in the room when it happened. Can you don't interview those people that to me is outrageous that the FBI would not interview those people all of those people were not interviewed this wholly unacceptable? They weren't to be three other people that for Ramirez Ramirez story, which you can drive a truck through the holes in the story and Cory booker's not voting for him. Anyway, here's the latest Senator Jeff flake is still weighing on whether he should vote for or against Cavanaugh. It's a joke. He's a conservative judge he proved himself the nobody. He just said Jeff flake said yesterday, I read the material does nothing to corroborate any of these stories. Now, we find out that the steady friend was felt pressured to change her story and support doctor Ford, and Jeff flake is still considering on what to do on this key boat. We know that. Collins will vote to advance to tomorrow, but we'll say at three o'clock what you will do tomorrow. So Blake hasn't decided mccaskey hasn't decided mansion hasn't decided let's go to Walter listening online in Georgia. Walter. Good. What's your name? Good. Listen, I wanna make the point that out. And they said, well, there's zero it in on July first, and they and Ford got bad. I didn't say it was July first. Well, what do you want him to do? He's looking at his calendar. The investigators want to move forward. They want to verify the story. Now, she says I have I wanted to sit down and give my therapists notes over to you and give out the documentation over to the FBI. But they didn't call gave sworn testimony. Will you holding back where you're inaccurate? You can only get yourself in trouble. If you sit down with the FBI again, that's a good theory welter, but it's just a theory. He did say that your cut sheet here for audio. There's a big giant hole here. And that is what I am going to present to you. In the last half hour, the Republicans just lose it, and it's glorious. It is so much fun. I don't know who lit a fire under Lindsey Graham, but Lindsey Graham got hot wearing. Oh. And he had backing to it was fantastic. But let's get into what they are going after what the Democrats want guilty or not. They don't care. They don't care about Dr Ford. They couldn't care less about this woman. They're just happy. She's here to try to derail cavenaugh period. They don't care what happens to her later on. And by the way, this whole she's here at great expense, and she's here in by the way, there's a gofundme me site already for doctor for. They said the same thing about Anita hill. Here at great personal loss. Great personal risk. Her career is over. She's made millions. On being Anita hill. And we're going to see if Dr Christine Ford is an honest woman at all, and she's here for her civic duty. If you hear the new book released by Dr Ford, you'll know exactly what this was seriously cashing in. Absolutely cashing it. But everybody the Democrats that the only they have now. And the reason why they didn't show up to any of the interviews of the witnesses. They could have done their own investigation. They knew that when they got to this trial today. They knew that they showed me this this hearing they knew that they were going to call on the FBI and say, why don't we have an FBI investigation FBI investigation FBI investigation. They said we'd and they tried to get cabin to turn to a member of the administration and demand that that person go up to Trump himself and say, I demand, we're pausing this this hearing, and we I demand an FBI investigation into the claims of Dr fort. Get bits. This is not how it works. It's not how it works. Do you think that this would happen? If if Elena Kagan. Said that mister cavenaugh he he was he he he he touched me inappropriately at habit. The FBI doesn't do this. This is not the FBI shot, by the way. If these allegations are one hundred percent true, if they had video of it yuppie, I wouldn't get involved the FBI doesn't get involved 'cause no federal crimes committed. This is state and local police call for that. If you want to scream and holler for it. If you want to know statute of limitations on it. But I'm gonna give you just just so, you know, it's not an FBI thing. I'm going to back you up till you need a hill. Clarence Thomas hearings yeoman Joe Biden. That's right. The Dem's great uncle Joe Wright blue-collar Joe. He breaks it down for you. The next person that refers to an FBI report is being worth anything. Obviously doesn't understand anything. There. You have be. I explicitly does not in this or any other case reach a conclusion period period. Yeah. Judges no reason why you should know this the reason why we cannot rely on the FBI report. You wouldn't like it? If we did because it is in conclusive. Yeah. The FBI stop calling for the FBI in. He even does kind of gives it by a US wound Moreton throwing I dare you ask one more time gonna get one. I'm telling you, I got a freshman right here. Next person that asks about the FBI because you don't know how life works. In cut one Chuck Grassley today Beckmann up the FBI provided us with the allegations. Now, it's up to the Senate to their credibility, which brings us to this very time. I look forward to a fair and respectful hearing. That's what we promised doctor for I'm going to get some of my colleagues have complained about the fact that an expert on this side is investigating. Crimes will be questioned the witness. I see no basis for complaint other than just playing politics. That's all it is. Let's let's call this what it is politics. And if you if you can't see that, and you think that any of this is for the wellbeing of Dr fort, you're crazy, if you think that any of this is to get to the bottom to get to the truth. We're going to get to the bottom of this. We will find Justice. You're kidding yourself. You're fooling yourselves. This is partisan politics period. And if you don't think, I'm right. I'm going to defer to our friends on the right? The Republicans that absolutely flew off the rails today in just basically said I've had enough, and I can't stand it anymore.
