"Change your mind. Please don't hurt me. I want to send on a corporate board one day. And i really don't like being in charge. Please stop it. That's what republicans are doing. We're gonna lose the country not because we're losing elections but because we have gutless wonders that call themselves republicans that quite honestly remind me of neville chamberlain of the vichy french or a little bit of both always suing for peace. They pass signs a good law. But then you actually have to enforce the law. Oh well not for me. It's okay you can defy me. You could disobey me. You can trample all over me. You could do whatever you want. The governor of indiana governor holcomb another gutless wonder alongside as hutchinson and larry hogan man. Those of you listening right now. You deserve so much better than these republicans. Such a disaster holcomb probably wants to be a corporate crony one. Day to i've met him. He was a nice enough guy. He has been so disappointing. This indiana governor holcomb backing schools on facebook. Mandates as cove in nineteen outbreaks. Grow so basically. The indiana governor is pro child abuse. It's okay. He joins a great collection of other republican governors like a hutchinson who's pro chemical castration of children not only did we lose the war in afghanistan but now we are implementing taliban values. We put cloths over our face. We takeover statues and we castrate our children. I don't want to hear us lecture. The taliban anymore of course the taliban they are incredibly evil and they do even worse things than that. Governor of indiana backing schools on mask mandate from wwl ky. Cbs indiana's governor gave us support monday to a growing number of school. Districts got the state issuing mandates for students and staff. Several the state's largest school district indianapolis began requiring mass for indoor areas on monday. Starting the school year republican governor eric holcomb said that he would continue his policy of allowing school officials to impose mask. School mask rules and other steps to stem the chinese virus. I the schools that are putting massenet's in a place are making a wise decision when the facts are warranted. The republican holcomb says. I'm not surprised by the pushback. Having lifted the last year and a half. Are you serious in the governor governor. Democrat governor andy shar from kentucky. Put another mask mandated. I honestly believe these are really stupid people. We deserve so much better because the people are not stupid. You are not stupid you are being led by a clown show of buffoons. There is no evidence to show any of this. Does anything factors evidence. Show does the opposite and there is evidence to show that it hurts. Child socially emotionally and yes governor holcomb. You're gonna be responsible when all of a sudden suicide rates go up that'll be on you. That's okay go go retreat to your corporate donors in indiana. Because that's what's really important governor. Rhonda santa's is one of the few people with the spine. And he has a lot to lose. He's in cycle. He says we will leave it up to parents governor. Hogan governor dewine governor holcomb republican republican. Republican forget charlie baker. That ship left the longtime ago. Why is it that. Republicans are so intent on not trusting the science not listening to their voters and living like some sort of fifteenth century italian dictator. Listen to me. I really know what the row implement masks. And then the other side. You have greg abbott and doug ducey that sign these good laws into law and i don't even wanna implement them. It's a serious question. Do those governors actually want to be in charge. Governor state of oklahoma has done a great job. I want to add him to the list of a good governor. Governor step phenomenal governor. Desanta terrific governor gianforte in montana has also been very good. I wanna give him credit. He's a friend of mine. Why are we losing the country people say largely because republicans have let it happen. Thanks so much listening everybody. Email us your thoughts. Freedom at charlie kirk dot com. "Evidence to make it impossible for law enforcement to find out what really happened and yeah the press coverage. Was this a justified response. George floyd some autonomy was established in december. Twenty twenty in portland. They took over a residential area for about a week. Nasty set a booby traps on the streets. Like spikes on the grow. They had different zone. Set up where they had molotov cocktails. Ready to throw anybody who wants to trespass That was allowed to go on for days. currently the tournament's in minneapolis. George floyd tournaments. So when people tell me while so bad about antifa. They're just opposing racist. It's not like they're going to be able to actually do anything beyond scaring off Racists from organizing the public. I say he wanted to look at what their ideology leads to. In actual practice like the creation of Abacus communist commune's look at they are tomlinson's which existed last year in which exists currently in. You see that. These areas filled with misery violence in in debt. And this is what their actions lead to. So andy walk us through what happened with turning point. Usa in washington. with antifa. give that. I know you helped cover it. I think it would be very powerful for listeners. Interviewers yeah so in olympia the state capital of washington state the turning point chapter there and the tabling events outside the capitol building. This is an area you know the building is supposed to symbolize democracy. Right at the state level and antifa had organized beforehand saying They were calling this. A fascist bent so again as i said earlier. They call anybody who is conservative Fascists in so they got their blocked militants to come out in what they were doing was they were intimidating. The gp usa volunteers who retained right And at one point even assaulted one of the the high school volunteers by doing something ahead of but there were going and pushing Knocking the stop on the table onto the ground Screaming and yelling at them and then eventually faulting them. In police didn't intervene. They just sat down watch and This is an issue that i've seen in other blue dominic dominated States and said he like portland where even when the resources there with law enforcement Instructed to not intervene so you can be. Somebody like me who was beaten in front of the sheriff's office literally steps away and nobody will come. Nobody will come help you at all you completely on your own And that's what hop into these. Usa volunteers Earlier this year. And you you've seen this repeat itself right andy and many different ways And it's not just with turning point usa but it's just anyone that has a different opinion there almost the muscle and the enforcement arm of the democrat party. So can you talk a little bit about the connection between antifa and blm inc and where they overlapped. I wanted to something. I do hear it saw dolphin anti essentially operate like the militant strong on wing democrats tonight against that. I would say that the reason why it appears outweighs because the democrats antifa having mutual enemy under willing to See that destroyed even through the use of violence. So that's why democrats By lodge have been so hesitant to want acknowledged an empty exist although lie about antifa or even cover for the violence but they're all significant differences in that it antifa were to get their way..

Are we doing more investigation than the department of justice. But guess what we are now. In an era of citizen journalism we are now in an era where we have to do the work because the new york times the washington post and all of these other outlets will not do this work. We are now waiting for another arizona. Drop on a think. I want to thank the people that are supporting. Charlie kirk dot com slash support. Jacqueline from nevada. Thank you ryan from louisiana. I'm very supportive of all you high school seniors right now. we are waiting on any zona less than favorable. Yeah less than favorable but that this was kind of what it was expected. It looks like the biden. Lead now across arizona's cut to fourteen thousand or so fourteen fourteen and a half thousand votes It was about fifty fifty for the most part. Looks like it goes pretty close How many ballots did they say. Six thousand three hundred ninety six thousand a pretty small drop. In comparison with might've a real democrat blend. "We built with. Gp fly is different package and that actually took a gp usa run which we thankfully go for free video. I should probably say up. That'd be awesome. Yeah that's cool. So that sort of naturally gives you a probability of class membership. So you set it up with the whole training seven labels that you have in. It'll tell you what the actual propose the nissan politically as a member of any one of those classes. All the other things we have to calibrate so we get some sun score after the machine learning model than we have to take all of our examples and say okay. Well we've got a score of point six but actually eighty percents of these really planets so really that needs to be point site and you can kind of calibrate that way strapping yourself. Did you have people go back through. And basically reanalysed what machine learning suggested just focusing on those stars was the once it says. Sixty seven percent likelihood what happened does definitely where we cut to actually work on celebrating the qualifiers that were non probabilistic wanted to compare it against the probabilities produced by some of the previous methods. Like westbound which was Physics based to model that the likelihood of different false positive scenario sense the planetary scenario and. That's where the things got interesting. Because the pro abilities that are machine learning plus fires were producing versus the is produced by previous models where a slightly different particularly for false positives. If i'm not mistaken movin slightly. I mean they disagreed in something like twenty seven percent of the cases. this is best for. I should say before we get into that sort of failed standard. So it's like a natural physical models you'll fitting models of these different planet inflows positive scenario to the data and trying to say how does each one will fit right from what you understand. Does it make sense with the way you think planets and gravity and all that works. Yeah yeah 'cause 'cause we can sort of build up a fake system with a binary star and so on and say okay. Well this is what it looks like. you know. it doesn't match it not and so on when you can do that properly. Beijing way and get some good statistics out of it. The trouble is to make it run fast enough on a large number of samples because today this appropriate very very slight investments missions to and it has a whole set of results but until now it's being the anything that can run fast enough to redo this large numbers of candidates and so we were the first people to be able to compare against that and we actually got some quite big discrepancies which is kind of worrying right. Oh yeah i mean it's it's not the it's both exciting and worrying because somebody's got to change something right or learn something. Yeah yeah what is important today. So we haven't really gotten to the roots of that yet as the what's causing it. I mean but when the wasn't independent label it pretty much. Faith all classify mystic about that. At least yeah. That is optimistic. You wanna tell us more about this. Gp flow library so gb flow. Was something i briefly worked with when working on this project of the time i was quite interested in cautioned Classified said beijing on per metrics but also how does it of the problem with gulshan proceeds generally is that. They're quite hard to scale. Because you need to do matrix version to be able to kind of get the asteria. Would you be flow allows you to do is to formulate the whole problem or other uses the methods that formulate the problem of in for fitting your go to the program by formulating optimization problem. And that's where the cabin and gp flow is naturally build on flow which is built for optimizing theaters on the gpu. And that's what gp flow is but forgotten process specifically with a few kind of inference methods. Already prebuilt into the package. And you can just take the defining financial process defined your colonel defined the hype. Remers give it your data and it will do the work for you. That's what jimmy flow essentially is yeah basically requires an nvidia graphics card underneath these. Gpu hope it speed up right but you can get away without. It just takes forever. Yeah yeah nice to you. How about the compute cluster. I speak on. I've had folks from like sern. Large hadron collider. They've got like it's incredible compute cluster. That they can send their stuff. Out the one kilometer array folks also had this huge amount of data they're processing victim uk-us what about yours so back when i started this project i was doing it all on the laptop that they give to us as part of the program but as mentioned later on it was run on edge of you so yeah it's kind of progress from a tiny laptop that i had to the. Yeah though still just one. Gp we never really got too big competing in clusters by could. It's not really a processing limits of joe biden. At least at the scale we will running right. I think it's really interesting. And that's why. I want to kind of tease that advocates. It didn't take a huge amount of computing power to do this all of the known guessing process models. I mean there's some random forests in mostly Things that i can. They're all of them even by the end running. Sort of like obligation level results. Were still running on a pretty standard. I might just on a desktop computer. So it's just not using these big with computers either. Yeah how much of the processing has happened in. There is the do you start from the brightness overtime signal or you start from the actual of the whole sky the image of the star like. Where do you begin this analysis. This is a good question right so a lot of the quick announces i've been talking about is all of the training. The models and saw a lot of the the phages were pre. Computed by nassar is part of the capital pipeline and that saves a lot of processing time. I mean it really does so you comedy understand. It's actually a bit more of a processing problem when you try and do not as well right is already been sorta condensed down to you. Care about the star. Here's the data. Go look at it. Yes has a lot of metadata. Still take time series and we'll calculates make sure things from it but at the same level. We don't have to start with this load of real pixel level camera images and that takes time to process detox about coupler being done tests coming online. Maybe give us a sense for where this kind of research is going where like additional projects additional studies. You all might be doing. What is the future. Look like with new telescopes larger field of view. More data so on. I mean with this one. We already just want to demonstrate the methadone catholic but test is what you need. I mean so. I kept the has maybe eight thousand candidates i.

"I wondered how much coordination there was between the speeches every speech fit It was almost written in a universal voice. It was just it just was really really well done. Let me ask you this. There was a the stupid Lincoln Project they say they had an insider there last night and they saw that people were you know saying racist things about Barack Obama. Can you tell me what the scene was like in in in that broom last night. Well look I'm not going to trust the Lincoln project for any of that. Massive mistake. Go figure, right. Look. Here's here's what I can say is some of the speeches were prerecorded somewhere live but everyone handed theirselves phenomenally and I see no evidence at all of any of that. I saw that accusation of as well and I just I just consider it to be you know. Completely outrageous and baseless and I will say this. That's really where the trump people have. The anti-trump people have to go. Now when they hear from Tim, Scott Herschel, Walker Nikki Haley, and maximum whereas you've been and I love what? You said Glen it wasn't token. It wasn't. It was real experiences how the policies and also the presidency has connected with their own worldview Nikki Haley I thought that a phenomenal job and I really really well and and look it's hard to believe that's just the first night. You have three more nights of that and I can just I can tell you the Democrats are probably really regretting the way they did their convention in the one of the things that the Republicans did the best. Last night was unified stage. They had a couple people. The casket, there was a unified set. Really, really was a great decision from I'm assuming that they're going to have that same set tonight or that same building we hope. So yeah, I I believe. So yeah because when the Democrats it was so disappointed. So disorganized, right you different people piping in from all across the country is hard to watch. Yeah. Charlie. I want to go back to what we were talking about with the message to the African American vote. You know it wasn't token in fact. It was an I've seen speeches where they were honest like, Hey, look this isn't good for your community and join us and it's been sincere but it hasn't been sustained because everybody's like I don't know. Let's let's throw. Throw an invitation out this one was a true join us at the table as partners and it. It wasn't an I have rarely heard this from politicians. Because the Republicans just haven't done it they've written off the black vote for so long and it's just not the democratic. Style. But They were saying or a promising you anything I'm telling you look at what we've done. Look at the success rate here. Come join us just come join us where it wasn't a laundry list of things that we're going to promise them if you did exactly right, that's exactly right and also you know Senator Tim Scott and Herschel Walker just dispelling a lot of the lies that are being told about the president and I liked which was really interesting and I completely agree the Republicans had done this in such a long time which was a direct called action. Vote. For us it wasn't just kind of look. We're just GONNA. Kinda put up you know a black individual and hope that boosts the numbers and I think the if I were to analyze this I think that it's because the Democrats had become so nasty and so dogmatic believing that skin color must dictate how you vote I think it warranted one of the most beautiful counter responses. I've ever seen in politics I think people like Tim Scott, Herschel Walker Nikki Haley how are so tired of the way the Democrats have been connecting skin color to political ideology like Joe Biden. You. Know if you don't vote for me, you ain't black. What are you seeing on the? Charlie. What are you seeing on the ground you're seeing any? Seen anything gives you real hope. Yes, I am I saw traveling the battleground states Michigan Minnesota Minnesota in particular changing in real time I'll tell you it is really incredible. But I see a lot of people especially in the Industrial Midwest where I'm from I grew up in the mid West that are very quickly moving away from Democrat and going to Donald, trump and I think it's not going to be reflected in the polling I. think that we're going to start to see some polling about four or five weeks from now that are gonNA reflect some of the trends that are starting to set in, and that's a really interesting thing i. Don't think polling is actually a snapshot of time. I actually think it's a lagging indicator. Not Indicators is the because people have conversations they persuade each other their dinners know it takes a lot. It's a lot of people are they're unlikely to publicly proclaim political ideology they are you know people who are that's there a small subset of the population but I see on the ground, the doors were knocking on the people were talking to especially the issue of law order crime and riot. The definitive breakdown of how we work works from the kibbutz. Let's to the board room all that and much brush more and it's like and it's like the it's like perfect because it's like of course the one really interesting positive thing about the Israeli kibbutz would be the thing that the guy would discard glad to have community but everybody was owning living similar muddy so I thought what if we could do instant coffee Intel people to our laptops and then somehow bill real estate scheme with Ashton Kutcher guy one of those co working spaces when I was at death and taxes it was awful. It wasn't inspiring community building exercise. I wish we were crammed into a small windowless room with another website well. I had some interviews in over the years and my problem is a lot of the places it's all windows. You have zero privacy. You can see and everybody else rights-based and that's actually why I haven't spent that much time in rework but the ones that I one in two or more along those lines like how does anybody like it was like a snack and literally it's like coffee and Pretzel Saito uh-huh depressing. They've closed down their free snack section a solidarity with other workers that were when the free snacks disappear. You know you're in trouble. GonNa take whatever you can. People yeah absolutely work at any sort of corporation. Yes you're in any sort of cooperation treat it like your own personal personal volt venture fund rate the amount of fresh fruit while I was advice and just took home in my backpack could see that and let's face it cook he met. I was at that you know. No I was there. I'm I'm trying to remember what but yes I did notice that and I could see a matlock making numerous coke rates at the vice headquarters freelance. I could've worked from home but the No side my impact better to get some face time in so where where do the beverage console console go cappuccinos because in move that did you all kinds of coca available at the vice office. I stayed away from those people those types. I'm I'm a good boy. That's right not me. That's right. Kuka Coke hasn't been cool since like the seven the I'm talking about like fifteen years ago. I'm old. We're not officially old yet. folks one of the biggest pieces of fearmongering to block single payer healthcare the block in actual plan to cover every human being in this country is this this disingenuous talking point pioneered by Joe Biden and Tim Ryan that somehow it's unfair to labor unions because and in some mm cases some folks and labor unions have very good healthcare which can of course be taken away from them in a minute they go to strike which is another great argument for single payer healthcare but also even other folks who are employed or in unions actually still deal with a lot of the same overpricing and gouging that most consumers sooners of these parasites companies the oath and this gentleman is one of those people and he is going broke paying for his health care he had an opportunity at the United Food and Commercial Workers Forum to ask one of the candidates about this now. Unfortunately the candidate he asked is maybe V. candidate that there's something charming about her. Just basically like you don't deserve shit. Jealous out unfortunately left to live here in this wonderful city of a member for twenty five years as a new cutter our local grocery stores. I am a personal five year survivor of leukemia and like many families. I am overwhelmed by the rising costs in the healthcare industry. My question candidates is what is is your. Jeddah to lower costs for families and myself right. That's a great question team so I it making sure that you can organize key to this that is got to be important because you're able to negotiate and work hard to get the best benefit for workers in your union and other unions do the same thing so. I would make sure under my plan. We protect those policies that you negotiated shaded hard for because some of the other plans don't do that. There's some disagreement on this on the debate stage and I'm one that always has stood by allowing people to to keep their plans because there's one hundred and forty nine million Americans that have their own plans right now. They're not perfect plans. We Wanna do everything everything to bring their premiums down but we gotta remember that and not kick people off those insurance plans and for years which is what one of the proposals so that's I lo- ooh that is some top line. I was just about to say that almost charmed by Amy Klobuchar but that she really escalated the lie the disingenuousness there yes in four years under the sanders plan. You will get kicked off of your almost certainly overpriced. Let let me tell you something and I will of course I want Medicare for all all I can't wait to get kicked off in my plan kicking ono anything but that the free one yes snow how everything no I mean honestly. I'm looking at bills and I don't. I don't you know luckily enough knock on wood like I'm in good health. I don't use my insurance insurance barely ever right. I like it's an overpriced defective product. That is there there in case you get hit by a bus and my God the way these people have been with even some of those basic stuff imaginable. I'm I'm doubly petrified of getting hit by a bus because I mean that's exactly when they can mess with you boast when you don't have the energy to are you on on the phone with them so even if you have great even if you are one of the miniscule amount of Americans that has really good health insurance it will be better when you were covered under a government plan so this language is just it's so toxically misleading dishonest and of course jeopardizes is tens of millions of people's lives so I was gonna say. There's something that I find. I don't know what the right word is but my annoyance level with with Amy Klobuchar is actually low relative to other candidates. It's not like I look like when I look at people to judge like. Oh my God please Jesus Christ get this guy out the TV or they mclovin. Nah Yeah sure go for alcoholic trying to be a perfectionist out there in the world. I get it yeah. I didn't even know that but like what you know like I don't. I don't like her by any. I mean she's awful but I don't have like a visceral reaction to being annoyed by her but that is just such a toxic talking point. Oh speaking of talking points normally nominally progressive candidates here. Tulsi Gabbard recently said that she's on the if you like your plan you can keep it. I'm not I look at it as a soldier and soldier about that little talking point anytime someone says you know I'm not you know if you like one more than the other look if the public option was being sold as you're definitely going to like the public option better it's going to be so much cheaper compared to whatever but they always say like it might not be better they give the the option. That might not be better because they're not. GonNa give you one. That's that's that's going to knock out private insurance. They're not in the public. Option is not Medicare for all people need to be incredibly clear about this this. Is Look I understand that you can very narrowly litigated whether or not you'RE GONNA ban private insurance or not and I said yesterday with my opinion on that is which is like. Yes you know what you want to allow for private. Insurance does continue to exist it needs to be there mutually owned or nonprofit and it needs to be dwarfed dwarfed by governmental healthcare to such a degree that it makes up a fraction of the market and it is regulated more aggressively than a public utility sure. I guess but anybody anybody in an American. There is no candidate that is saying I want to do at the French way. Ray are using the the language Bob Buddha judge specifically tabards specifically are using the language of Medicare for all. I guess maybe even Gabbard might not even be using Medicare for all anymore. Yes Medicare for all who wanted is fundamentally. Dishonest leads not a public option..

"But it is kind of a problem for apple that envy is the leader in so many different markets and continues to have the best cards, quote, unquote, best cards for many different purposes and apple apparently, not only refuses to ship things in there. But refuses to even let Invidia do all the work itself and ship things that can work with max. I hope that's not true. Hope something else is going on. And maybe behind the scenes that working with NVIDIA and these things will come out with Emily yards. And it'll be great. Another possibility is that oh, I takes the lead. Again. They just released a new car. I think they were the first tomorrow, but the seven nanometer GPU there, you know, the new architecture new process, it's impressive. But they did not take the lead. Like, there's new car that came out with its on a smaller process that NVIDIA is currently shipping at just barely matched an existing year-old and video card. So thea has not regained the performance lead. I think is actually a little bit of a problem. Obviously some of the stuff inva- does competes with apple and its metal initiatives. And maybe this is all mood of apple starts making his own GP USA, who cares? But in vity ATI. But in the world we live in today. A MAC pro produced by a company that refuses to have anything to do with NVIDIA also refuses let NVIDIA ship anything that can work inside a MAC pro is slightly lesser for it. And I really hope that's not how things turn out. And so this is a of the many things of all be watching for. On MAC pro day. One of them is does it ship with an MBA card and the second one is can someone put an everyday card into it? A good modern heavy guard into it after the fact and have it work. We've we've heard various rumblings and rumors and things from alleged employees for for years now. But how there's this massive bad blood between apple and video and lots of reasons for that, you know, the the main reason I heard stemmed from back generations ago. Invidia had those GPS and macbook pros the died a lot and caused a lot of expensive repairs for apple and basically apple blamed Invidia Invidia blamed apple and apple had to eat the Bill for all that and kind of shunned video from other products sense. And so if that is indeed the reason why we haven't seen a lot of video stuff from apple in the last few years. I think that's a dumb reason. Like if there is bad blood between these companies entered is within Apple's power to fix it. I think they should fix it. Because as you said like there's there's pretty strong demand from high end GPU users for Invidia support by continuing to not offer Invidia GP us. I think apple is hurting itself and its customers more than whatever any dispute is worth. And the interesting part is like it's it's not that apple has to ship and video cards. They just need to not prevent it. Not prevent customers from using videos. And that's that's a like talked about how they're, you know, they're changing their attitude about the MAC pro and they're gonna make the computer the pros wants. But part of it is like apple stance. The idea that apple would sell you a computer knowing that the people who buy it are going to change it after they get it. Whether that's upgrades or even just components swaps like that that mindset which apple used to have that they would sell you a computer with the expectation that whether it's you're going to buy third party ram. Or are you gonna buy hard drive from someone else and slap it in? There. Are you going to buy a second GP you and put it in? Or are you going to replace the GP that comes over the different one selling you, essentially a platform a modifiable platform, obviously, it's that's not appropriate for laptops for your iphone for a MAC, mini, even right? But the whole point of the MAC pro is to be. Different from other computers. It's different than I'm pro different. How because they sell it to you..
