"Can not get organized. This is Ralph northam, Virginia Department of Transportation yesterday. The funniest thing about Twitter were that the morons on Twitter were blaming governor elect Glen young for the Virginia Department of Transportation and aptitude in failing to plan and execute any kind of a close the highway keep people off of it order, which is what they should have done. Just close the eye, keep people off of it until it's plowed. Ohio turned pipes been doing that for years. So Glenn young can just can't get there soon enough. And the national reviews Dominic Pinot wrote a story late last night why I 95 in Virginia is jammed. And it comes down to the Virginia Department of Transportation, lack of preparation, inability to execute and general ineptitude. And this has been 8 years of democratic management. So what did you expect? The Commonwealth used to work when governor George Allen was there. And now governor Glenn young is going to have to bring in an entire new group of managers infused some private sector know how and knowledge. In an era of weather forecasting, if it says 7 inches, then you plan on 14. That's what you do. If your parameters are going to be safe, it's always easier to say, oh, so we missed. And that's what happens with hurricane season. People prepare, then it misses, and that's good. U.S. global reports record an over 1 million daily cases of COVID around the world. The CDC updated COVID-19 isolation guidance, which doesn't matter because nobody listens to the CDC anymore. Doesn't matter that they've changed their mind so many different times. Jab, no jab, Johnson Johnson pause, Christmas is going to be canceled ten days, 5 days. Nobody knows what it means, but they change their guidance if you happen to work at the CDC and you may be able to test later in the day. They have utterly crushed their own credibility as Joe Biden, Tony Fauci should quit. And Joe Biden should have point someone who actually is new to the field, a new face, someone should pay attention to them. Maybe, if they're credible and they appear to have a grasp of the situation like Rochelle Walensky and Doctor Fauci. In homo Kron hotspots, hospitals fill up that ICUs might not New York Times reports. This is good news. I'm a crime that's just not as deadly as far more virulent, but are more contagious, but it's not a deadly. And that's good. The bad news is, of course, lots of people who work in hospitals have COVID, so there's some staffing shortages. It's sort of like the schools. Do you think the hospital closed? Do you think the hospital's close? You know that the nurses are making less than the teachers, and they're showing up. You know that the bed pan assistance are making less than the staff assistance and teachers and they're showing up. What's the difference? Union, teachers union. Israeli study reports a 5 fold jump in antibodies with the fourth Pfizer shot. I can not wait to get my fourth Pfizer shot. Nobody has to tell me to get it. Nobody should tell me to get it. I'm just going to get it. As soon as it's available, of course, the CDC is not approved at the FDA is not approved it. But Israel is approving it and they're pushing it out as quickly as possible because the second booster does such a dramatic increase in your protection against the virus. Internationally in France, Emmanuel Macron said he wants to make daily life more in convenient for unvaccinated people. Okay, that's kind of mild totalitarianism. In Australia, Scott Morrison announced amid growing anger that certain groups would be able to receive free rapid tests, but dismissed calls to distribute them to everyone. Because Scott Morrison has a brain, not everybody needs a COVID test. You're not going out and about or you're fully vaccinated with a booster and you're a regular hermit like me, then you don't need this. India's experts are bracing for a new wave of the infection. It's 58,000 cases were reported Wednesday. That's going to grow exponentially. German state governors are meeting today and 90 of England's nursing homes have issued a red alert, meaning that they have critical staff shortages. Again, they're not throwing the nursing patients out into the street. Unlike the Chicago teachers union, the heartless Chicago teacher's union, which should be, they should all be fired. Boris Johnson says it's likely we're going to have to have a booster to travel abroad. He's just reflecting what's going to happen abroad. When I.

"The vin this Sunday Night Fox News channel don't miss it okay It's very important but it's me rich is the only in for the great ones tonight Always fun to be with you I'm your fellow lavinia from Philadelphia But mark's got some great guests coming up this Sunday Night Representative Kevin McCarthy and former Virginia governor George Allen will join mark on life library in Levin this Sunday APM eastern Fox News And it would be a lot to talk about Obviously particularly with Virginia but particularly how the Democrats are not learning anything and how they just continue to just double down on calling everybody a racist Even the new lieutenant governor of Virginia the call and her racist too which is amazing because she's the first black woman elected statewide in the history of the Commonwealth And yet they're still calling her a racist These people really never learn do they And that's the reality here The reason why they did this whole dossier thing the whole reason why they did this is because they knew they couldn't win Their ideas are not popular Hillary Clinton was a terrible candidate So they made up a Russian thing They made up a dossier They fed the FBI fake information And then the FBI launched this big investigation The only question like I said is who in the FBI said let's go with this 'cause I just gotta have more faith in them than that I really do But it was a lot of sleazy political people People like Peter strzok and people like Lisa page Very very sleazy Very political No problem using government to get what they want No problem using government to advance their own political causes That's for sure 8 7 7 three 8 one three 8 one one here in the Mark Levin show Let's take some calls shall we Why don't we start with Nancy and Dallas Texas Nancy hi it's me rich in for Mark tonight Nancy I think your radios on Nancy Okay Go ahead Am I on You are Hello You're on the air go ahead Hi how are you Hi how are you I was My concern was since they know that on these people were cheating and lying and faiz awards They knew was an orange Is there any way that the citizens could hold them accountable and them have to pay back from all the money that they made off of that They're above et cetera and hold them like for that they have to pay restitution It'd be nice if they had a reimbursement taxpayers for the what $60 million that this whole investigation has cost us right Well that's what they do You know they make money They keep their people employed just like what they're doing with their legal So you don't want that money That's ACLU They're making the money follow the money how much money is ACL you're going to get off of that settlement if they give that to them I always say the lawyers always win You know that's always the thing that seems to be consistent with all this stuff right Oh God It's terrible I don't think they actually will pay us back though Nancy It's a great idea It's a wonderful thought and your sweetheart for being optimistic about it but I know your tongue in cheek as you know it's never going to happen either But we can hope that they'll be justice for these people That's all we can hope for Yeah well you know that's kind of hard to imagine while they're still there But you know they're going to try and steal you know as fast as they can you know because they know 2022 I know Nancy thank you Thanks for calling the Mark Levin show Appreciate it very much have a great night I'm just waiting for them to shut down terms investigation at this point I really am I can't believe they're letting it go on That's what amazes me and all this They improve the funding obviously so it's good till the end of the year but the end of the year is coming up pretty quick So if I were Durham I'd get crack in here because I got a feeling that the more this goes on you know they're gonna be he's gonna be aiming at people at the top and the one thing about the bureaucracy right The Leviathan is Levin calls it is that they will circle the wagons to protect each other You know that you know that And if this looks like it's gonna go as high up as we think it's gonna go would anybody be surprised if in on let's see December 31st of 2021 they turn around and go oh you know what Here's the thing Durham We're just we're out of cash We're out of money Love you to keep going but you know what You got a couple guys Good for you Feel good about this Thanks a lot Here's a mug You know I guess souvenir mug Yay great job I don't know I hope it doesn't happen but nothing would surprise me these days Nothing would surprise me in the least Mike is in Fairfield California Mike you're on the Markov in show Good afternoon rich Thanks for taking my call Got it What a sweet week There's one name I've yet to hear come through all this business about the dossier Mark Elias being ahead of Perkins cooey of course the middleman between fusion GPS and the Clinton campaign Do you expect to hear his name at all in any of this Well I don't know I can't speak to that obviously I don't know what I don't know but I'll put it to you this way There's clearly a small group of very connected Democrats and power brokers who all seem to be at the epicenter of everything here And it's almost like a giant Ferris wheel going around and they're on and they're off and they're on and they're off again but at the end of the day they're all working on the same team So put it this way Nothing would surprise me Well was it fellow specimen that was in diet a few weeks ago wasn't he also connected with perky Cohen Yeah he was I thought so By the way I happen to agree with you or tend to agree with you about the length of the investigation I need to closer it gets to Hillary Clinton It's sooner it will shut down But that's just speculation of course Yeah well listen I tend to feel I tend to share that prediction by the way Mike thanks for the call but I appreciate it Have a good night 8 7 7 three 8 one three 8 one one Yeah you gotta be careful not to ever obviously accuse somebody of something on the air because you know there's things about that But I just I'm just saying that clearly we know that high profile people in the Clinton campaign were at the epicenter of this I just want to know how high it goes how far it goes but this is a real serious allegation that these people were lying to the FBI They're making it up right They're making up the allegations of the dossier They're lying to the FBI about the allegations that they made up but come on you're telling me the world's most trained investigators can't see through that nonsense See that's the part that bugs me I don't know Maybe look maybe I've seen too many movies but in my mind I gotta believe that they were able to see They eventually did They eventually saw through this even with those guys lying to them And yet we have all of this that happened So how did it happen That's the part I still can't figure out I think I know though I mean my suspicion is and probably your suspicion too which is that people within the Department of Justice the very high up they wanted that dossier to be used against Trump no matter what they didn't care if it was accurate or not There wasn't part of it It was just a matter of using it Use this bring this guy down.

"Ladies and gentlemen there's a big action taking place in Virginia big election coming up The first Tuesday in November off your election and that's the way it's done in Virginia And a lot of attention has been applied to a pay to the governor's race And that's important And Glenn youngkin will be on this program in a week or so You also heard from when some Sears yesterday fantastic running for lieutenant governor But there's a fantastic candidate who's also running for attorney general In the state of Virginia And wouldn't it be wonderful if all three statewide constitutional positions flipped And his name is Jason meares Jason how are you sir It is great to be with you Mark So much for thank you so much for having me on Well it's a pleasure Now tell us about yourself Tell the whole country about yourself because you have a very very interesting background as well Go right ahead Well listen I like to say my former prosecutor in Virginia Beach represent that area in the House of delegates now My story actually doesn't begin in Virginia Beach It begins in a vanna Cuba when a scared 19 year old girl got an airplane and you lost in homeless and not on board next meals get to come from And that was my mother Miriam miara is and so you know I tell my daughters all the time gratitude is one of the most underrated of all human traits I was raised to have such gratitude that I can live in this amazing country So my mother fled communist Cuba in the fall of 1965 leaving the only non democracy in the western hemisphere And almost 50 years of the day that she'd last in the fall of 2015 she was able to go into a voting booth and get a ballot and vote for me to represent her in the oldest democracy in the western hemisphere the Virginia accidental gets And so that's what I call the American miracle And we'll be ever forget that it is a miracle It's a precious thing And one of the things that makes it so precious is the fact that we're a country with a first written constitution and recorded history that empowers the individual rather than empowering government And that is what has created more flourishing of human ingenuity and prosperity than any country in the history of the world And we have to remember that as a people or we're quickly going to go to the way of some of these other countries Very very well said And a crime in this country including in Virginia is going through the roof Does the attorney general have some power to do something about that in Virginia Yeah I mean you've seen a far left liberal monopoly If you don't think elections matter if you don't think leadership matters you just have to see what's happened in Richmond We've got a two year head start of what we've seen this insanity what we're seeing right now in Washington you have one party control take over in 2019 And so what we have is had a criminal first victim last mindset in Virginia that is plus policy after policy that hurts police makes it harder for them to do their job and helps criminals So you know you have our murder rate right now in Virginia is the highest It's been in decades It's really public safety All these great policies put in by governor George Allen and others have been quietly chipped away And so when you have a skyrocketing murder rate you have a parole board that has been replaced by I don't call them progressives I call them regressive They also have this social justice mindset and they've let time and time again cop killers murders and rapists out Sometimes a decade on their sentence I mean we're talking people like David symptoms This guy had 56 prior felony convictions including 14 prior armed robberies abduction forcible sodomy supposed to be imprisoned in the year 2066 Mark they let him out 46 years early Do you know what he did with his 56 chance to get his live straight He committed his 57th felony walk into a convenience store put on a ski mask held a gun up to the head of a young clerk You know and as the prosecutor noted in that case this guy David Simpson should have never been in a position to harm anyone in our communities ever again but he was because the macaw pearl board amount the majority of the people pointed on this pearl board were appointed by Harry McCullough The remaining ones were appointed by Ralph northam It is far left It is a it is a scandal You had a whistleblower come forward say they're breaking the law to let out these violent criminals because they're not notifying the victims as required by law And so the first thing I'm going to do is attorney general is I'm going to go subpoena I'm going to go after the people and the parole board I think governor going young can already play these get a fire them but so far all you've had is Ralph northam hiding this refusing to answer questions and that's exactly what we're saying not even counting the insanity we're seeing what's happening in the lot in school district with these sexual assaults happening People are outraged parents are outraged that they're all races really choice to myself Somebody's been trained as a prosecutor and my opponent who's basically a left wing politician And I know voters are going to choose the prosecutor in this race And that opponent of yours has been around forever And he had to confess at one point that he was in blackface and he was embarrassed by it and but he didn't resign I was running for reelection correct Yeah yeah I mean don't forget we had the blackface scandal that came out with Ralph governor northam and Mark harring got up and said that Ralph northam had closed off the mole authority to leave Virginia And then it came out just three days later that he had his own black face scandal and of course at that point he didn't choose to hold himself to the same standards that he holds others And you know that's the first test of leadership He failed that test And not just that I mean he has tweeted out that he has turned the attorney general's office into quote a progressive powerhouse And sign on to every single left wing lawsuit that you can imagine but he hasn't done what is the first job as attorney general in Virginia Newspapers and others reported as the Virginia's top prosecutor is the top lawyer of the state the top cop He's failed with that job because you can just look at both the murder rate the flood of fentanyl that is flooding into Virginia in the city original alone You've had 9 times the number of deaths from fentanyl in the first several months of 2021 as you had from gun violence So we have a host of problems that we have a crisis at the border Mark carrying a stood by just like you did with the pearl board he did nothing to stop it That's going to be very very different than may I'm going to go after those people I'm not going to be afraid to go after those violent criminals He has a criminal force victim last mindset I have a victim first mindset And I think that's the difference America and virginians you're listening to Jason meares He's running for attorney general of Virginia Against a soft on crime I would argue even worse than that Many respects pro criminal attorney general We've seen these kinds of attorneys general and prosecutors throughout the country where backed by the hard left and so let me ask you this The attorney general of the United States says that he wants to coordinate with state.

"Process. So when the AP The New York Times a tenured professor in 2018, and there had been congressional hearings on this, uh at Princeton. At the age e secretary of State of Texas twice in one year, 2019 rejecting this particular software system and or this particular system of voting Dominion. And once in 2013. And then you hear from Laura Cox. I'm not I look. All I said last night and the media mob took it out of context is always is. Well, why don't we have a Republican engineer and a democratic engineer? Check it out. Make sure everything went well. What's so hard about that state Senator Lana Fice is with us. Tom Barrett is with us Another state senator. Welcome both of you to the program. Uh, Senator Thise. Let's talk about your letter and tell us what the response has been, if any. What we wanted to make sure that we did with the letter is make sure that every sudden citizen deserves you know that we know they deserve to have faith in their election. We know that right now that faith isn't there. And we wanted to make sure that we did an audit. In order to be certain that the numbers that were being sent to our secretary of state and certified by our secretary of state were actually accurate, and you spoke to the allegations that have been made. There are signed affidavits that people have put you know their reputations on the line, saying that these these issues exist and you spoke to just one of them the the Dominion Software and and you're right, Texas about Not to use that software because they saw it is a potential hazard. But that's not just the only thing. I mean, we have hundreds and hundreds of pages of allegations. They're signed affidavits by people who are saying that this election was not held in a safe, fair, transparent and accurate manner. And so my ask in this letter and Tom signed on with me, Senator Barrett that this actually needs to be audited before War. We certify the election. Senator Barry your take. Yeah. Thank you, Shawn in thank you, senator. Taste for your efforts joining in that, Um, you know, this is really important because election integrity matters so much on I am. Sponsored a bill in the Legislature two years ago to ensure that we would use paper ballots so that we would have more integrity in our elections that was unanimously supported signed into law and this is another step in that direction. Vice President Biden, you know, affirmed in the first debate in pledged that he would wait until an independent certification of the election had taken place before. Declaring a victor in that in the election, and now he's going back on that promise, just like he has, with cracking the green new deal and everything else. So while I'm not surprised, I am disappointed that he would break that, by the way, he says. On day one is going to re enter the Paris climate accords that agreement, then demands that we were do this our alliance and cut back on use of possible fuels. He really mentioned that when he was lying to the people of Pennsylvania, but just I'm just saying No. And you're right, Sean. And you know at that first debate it It's very clear that he said he would wait for an independent certification of this election. And maybe to him that means you know, MSNBC or something like that. But, you know, I think We owe it to the people. I I insist that we owe it to the people to have a fair overview of this election. With the amount of eyewitness testimony that's out there attesting to these irregularities and concerns. We have to look into it. There is no other option. What is the remedy? Senator thise in all of this, you know, based on these affidavits beyond looking into it, So the Michigan Constitution actually specifically states that a registered electors So any voter in Michigan can call for this audit? We've got the Legislature calling for it. And honestly, I've got I've got at this point hundreds of people that are supporting this that are registered electors in Michigan calling for the audit. When it comes to a remedy. It really depends on where the fraud is found. So we know what the issues are, and we want them to shine the light on them, and then we're going to respond accordingly. Yeah, well, I applaud you for the effort. No response. By the way you guys headed towards another shutdown, Senator Barrett. You know, Sean, I sure hope not. You know, we weigh in Michigan. We've won a few court cases and we have a great challenge against our governor right now, But I would not put anything past her. She's been Extremely difficult to deal with the new shut the Legislature out of every decision she's made and it zip just unfortunate that what our constitutional government is based on Well, I hope you pull you hope you both will keep us in the loop of any progress you make or what The response may end up being if the secretary of state even bothers to respond, although I think by laws is supposed to And we appreciate you looking to put faith trust confidence, integrity into the voting system. Some of these states, you can't do any worse than we've done. But we appreciate you both being with us. Thank you very much. We appreciate it. All right. Thank you. Don is in Iowa. Don happy Friday. You're on the Sean Hannity show. Thank you for taking my call. I appreciate it, and, uh, I'm also a veteran. And I'd like Tonto the sentiments of my fellow veterans and thank you so much. Thank you for your great service and risk you put out there for our liberties that we all Me included often take for granted. Yeah, won't thank you. I appreciate it now. The reason for my call was the fact that we have people concerned that this thing is over, and I want everybody to know that just because the clock is ticking does not mean it's against us. This clock is working for us right now. And I think that the more more time goes on the more light is being shed on everything that's taken place. Alright. Appreciate the call. Don 809 41. Sean, If you wanna be a part of the program, you know there used to be a time Reagan's president. Yeah, he wins California. That's now You don't even think about it. There used to be a time when the Commonwealth of Virginia Yeah, they had Governor George Allen..

There are signed affidavits People have put you know their reputations on the line, saying that these these issues exist and you spoke to just one of them The Dominion software and and you're right. Texas vowed not to use that software because they saw it is a potential hazard. But that's not just the only thing. I mean, we have hundreds And hundreds of pages of allegations of their signed affidavits by people who are saying that this election was not held in a safe, fair, transparent and accurate manner. And so my ask in this letter and Tom signed on with me, Senator Barrett that this actually needs to be audited before we certify the election. Senator Barry your take. Yeah. Thank you, Shawn. And thank you, senator. Taste for your efforts joining in this, Um you know, this is really important because election integrity matters so much on I Sponsored a bill in the Legislature two years ago to ensure that we would use paper ballots so that we would have more integrity in our elections that was unanimously supported signed into law and this is another step in that direction. Vice President Biden, you know, affirmed in the first debate in pledged that he would wait until an independent certification of the election had taken place before. Declaring a victor in that in the election, and now he's going back on that promise, just like he has, with cracking the green new deal and everything else. So while I'm not surprised, I am disappointed that he would break that, by the way, he says on pay one is going to re enter the Paris climate accords. Uh, that agreement, then demands that we reduce our reliance and cut back on use of possible fuels. Uh, he didn't really mention that when he was lying to the people of Pennsylvania, but just I'm just saying No. And you're right, Sean. And you know at that first debate. It's very clear that he said he would wait for an independent certification of this election. And maybe to him that means you know, MSNBC or something like that. But, you know, I think We owe it to the people. I I insist that we owe it to the people to have a fair overview of this election with the amount of eyewitness testimony that's out there attesting that these irregularities and concerns we have to look into it. There is no other option. What is the remedy? Senator thise in all of this, you know, based on these affidavits beyond looking into it, So the Michigan Constitution actually specifically states that a registered electors So any voter in Michigan can call for this audit? We got the Legislature calling for it. You know, Sean, I I sure hope not. You know, we weigh in Michigan. We've won a few court cases and we have a great challenge against our governor right now, But I would not put anything past her. She's been Extremely difficult to deal with the new shut the Legislature out of every decision she's made. And it Z just unfortunate that what our constitutional government is based on Well, I hope you pull you hope you both will keep us in the loop of any progress you make or what The response may end up being if the secretary of state even bothers to respond, although I think by loss is supposed to And we appreciate you looking to put faith trust confidence, integrity into the voting system. Some of these states, you can't do any worse than we've done. But we appreciate you both being with us. Thanks very much. We appreciate it. All right. Thank you. Don is in Iowa. Don happy Friday. And I think that the more more time goes on, the more light is being shed on everything that's taken place. All right. Appreciate the call. Don 809 41. "When the Commonwealth of Virginia Yeah, they had Governor George Allen. There was a time when Pennsylvania was a lot more red eye and almost, you know, guarantee for Republican the wind, and that's why this running the table now if you have to put Texas and Georgia and North Carolina in play Ah, I mean, it gets harder and harder. You know, you got to run the table. If you're a Republican, One state was Colorado used to be in play. Not in play anymore. Curtis is from Colorado. Hey, Curtis, How are you? How you doing? Good, sir. Happy, Freddie. Happy Friday to you. Thank you for taking my call on. It is a great honor to speak with you. One of the things that I was thinking about it and and listening to your former collars and stuff and as well, I am a veteran as well. But And Comes into play with what I'm about to bring up, but, um I think that we need to hold the Republican Party responsible for part of this as well. And what I mean by that is the inaction and not holding the Democrat party accountable for their actions for the last 4.5 plus years. You go back to Hillary Clinton and her server that was in her kitchen closet. Okay. During my military service, I held the top secret security clearance. I know what's involved with that. I know what the repercussions are for mishandling that kind of information. How she was not held accountable. I can't fathom And I'm sure there are thousands and millions of people out there who are looking at the same thing. We're all wondering, why is nobody being held accountable? We see. Um I'm going to give you the quick answer that establishment Republicans. Never like Donald Trump. They're never gonna like him. They don't understand him, and they don't understand the real anger people have at them. And I would argue, justifiably, and I'm not a Republican. Because you know how many everybody show votes that we have on repeal replace. They meant nothing when it mattered. You know, they wanted to run and hide from Donald Trump every every chance they could, and what he was teaching them was how to fight. And how to win and, you know, even agree with and yet and he was also resetting. What? What is the Republican Party? You know? What do they stand for? OK, we now know we stand for America first. Energy independence, lower taxes, less bureaucracy. Originalist justice is, um you know all of these things matter Not no longer these long conflicts that were, you know, gone on for two decades. We have military technology That is so advanced that we don't need to do that. And he's taught all of us this and we just need to learn from it. But if they think that the establishment is gonna quote, reestablish no pun intended themselves. They're they're mistaken This you know, the 72 million votes were not for the Republican Party. They report for Donald Trump and his agenda that Donald Trump is signed up here, though. I mean, we're talking about laws that are being broken. Okay. The Republican Party is the is the party of Rule of law. And if you're not going to stand up for the rule of law, then what of the American people supposed to believe it? So you can't I mean, Donald Trump? It is. People may not like him. People may not like his tweets. People may not like how he approached things. He is the on Lee person that I have No no of this Ben in politician in my lifetime. That has gone in stated what he wanted to accomplish and what he was going to do within that party or within this country and follow through. Here to make that's well. Listen here that that has been the rarity, And yet people were so outraged over tweeting in style that they lost that everything that any conservative ever wanted over these many decades. Me included. Was getting accomplished and establishment. Republicans could never get it done. Never would try this hard to get it done anyway. Good call. I appreciate it have fun out there in Colorado, Curtis Hey, look, it is been veterans Week. I want to if you could take him in and holidays are a time to reflect on. You know all the things we often take for granted the blessings we have in life. And also how we can help others. Now there are people that have gone out. Fought. The fight served us come back with the most severe, debilitating Injuries. Building homes for heroes thought or g'kar as we head into the holidays. Hopefully they'll be on your gift list. Since then, we have now discovered that 47 counties use this same software in the same capacity and from county head the hand count all of the ballots, and these counties that use this software need to closely examine the results for similar discrepancies. "American joined now by an old friend of former Virginia governor former Virginia senator George Allen governor Alan welcome back it's great to be with you when I saw that you're on the heritage foundation coronavirus task force I thought well they're gonna have a governor in there who actually knows how this works welcome how are you governor I'm doing great you and it's great to be with you in all your freedom loving listeners you know since the last time we talk I became a Virginia it was too late to ever enjoy voting for you either for governor or senator but I I'm back the state's changed a little bit but it's beginning to re open what do you make of your successors pace in light of what the heritage foundation recommended in the corona virus commission report which is available to you for heritage dot com okay put me on the spot right away yeah we we live in Virginia beach so we're watching a lot of this we moved from northern Virginia to Virginia beach last November but I'd say that the word I would use is halting observer Genya we compared to my friends in southwest Virginia in Bristol where where Tennessee opened up three to four weeks before Virginia dead and I I had friends on the on the Virginia side of State Street literally looking across the double line had to Tennessee businesses shops stores restaurants open and Virginia is a little slow on a on a lot of things and the northern Virginia even when Virginia finally opened up some northern Virginia the commissars up there wanted to continue this is staying close and there's another member of our two corona virus recovery commission no we land Deeney who yeah I'm sure you're fertile and any brothers yeah listening to the regulations and that pastoring up there it is still so difficult for for restaurants and small business inside I think there's a lot the things we learned from this and I don't mean to criticize anyone with the you know that there is a panic a lot of decisions are made we look back on another after action reviews will be done and we need to learn from these and be prepared better in the future some of our recommendations and far as governors are concerned as state legislators ought to review the emergency powers that are granted to governor sorry they've gotten into the details of Virginia where our governor said you can't have amplified music on the beach as if your radio is going to transmit this disease and so are the other things that that those dates review and revision what checks and balances the most important thing of all to be prepared for the future is to recognize how dangerously vulnerable we are for medical supplies equipment and essential vital medicines to hostile adverse an unreliable sources and primarily empty speaking of China and we need to make our and these are part of our recommendations in phase five which if you're going to read anything read phase five because it talks about the future and now we need to make our country much more attractive for the for the manufacture of these vital medicines the therapeutics the the any of any of the chemical agents that are necessary and and also the also the equipment so that when this happens in the future we have in stock piled we have them ready to ready to use and ready to treat Americans and in fact there's a good fella Frank Upton who lives here in Virginia beach works at V. see you as a medicines for all entities that produce the anti viral set for HIV aids in Africa very cheaply and they've gotten a grant from bart in a company that is associated with the call flow has a bad as a continuous chemical manufacturing process which is much more efficient less wasteful than bad two manufacturing so we can do it and we can we just make our tax laws or regulatory processes and then unleash the genius of American free enterprise system to make sure that there are these these products these chemicals these medicines are made in the USA heck you wouldn't feed your dog food from China and I don't care to be ingesting any medicines made in China either because I don't diluted or or or not even the applications at all I want people to focus on phase five of the heritage report and people go to you for heritage dot com to get the executive summary governor the president just tweeted retail sales show biggest one month increase of all time seventeen point seven percent far bigger than projected looks like a big day for the stock market job they were predicting seven percent seventeen percent I think America we open we weren't looking so maybe it's the the long term stuff you're talking about but it's also short term schools have to get into this I want you to take the last minute to talk about schools governor bush schools do need to re opened it to him when you think about the future opportunities for young people education is crucial the best jobs go to the best prepared and we need to have schools open safely that the people who need to be protected the most are elderly those with underlying conditions that they've ever been any deaths of anyone under age twenty in Virginia and so that obviously staff and faculty do be the need to be protected but they need to open up its good sales are up and by the way the longer displaces shut down the deeper no holes counties cities and states are for revenues to pay for those schools that are so essential and important function of state government governor George Allen good to talk with the stand by I'm a governor I'll talk with you when we go out there America go to Hugh for heritage dot com great sponsor the show we're doing this once a week now to bring new substance on.

"Was running for president I grace is not the governor so what happens in politics is you give people the you afford them there the highest rank that they've ever held Brian so like you know like for instance former governor George Allen of Virginia you refer to him as Mr governor even though he was a senator at one point the governor still out ranks the senator and also it based on the personal preference like for instance Jack mention chief of staff John Kelly yes it would you don't call me chief of staff a you don't calm secretary John Kelly either because he was cabinet level secretary from mystery you call him general because partly because a four star general as you know about it I see get in the military and also I think he prefers to be a general than a secretary who would rather be a general that a secretary right as secretary is not a toy no my boy not a toy so so back to the governor because the other man governor for a while he had to leave in Shane because he I lied about going hiking when he was actually done a blend of sars with his girlfriend not not joking then he ran for Congress in a seat that was so safe in South Carolina that even a loser like mark Sanford could win it after the after mentioned humiliation of leaving the governor's house because he was down with his girlfriend when it's our is when he said he was hiking in the Appalachians he won that house seat and then became a never trump Republican in South Carolina and remember that really safe seat I was telling you about that even mark Sanford could win well after he became a never trump Republican he lost to that seat he actually lost the primary because the people of his district in South Carolina said you know when we voted for a Republican from our district in South Carolina we were hoping that they would act like a what's the word I'm looking for all right publication and not oppose the Republican president Donald Trump so he lost his primary and so he really he didn't have much else going on in his life so apparently several months ago he said Hey you know what I should do I'll run for president against Donald Trump who currently has a ninety five percent approval rating among Republicans the most popular Republican president of our like that not popular nationwide but within Republican circles people who is self identified Republican you know they're the ones who go to the bathroom with the elephant on the door they identify as Republicans VA like this president and mark Sanford decided yeah I think I'll run against him that didn't last long he's not dropped out of the race according to I this is out of Concord New Hampshire because he's just opened up his office in New Hampshire so he could win that primary because you're generally speaking voters in New Hampshire really do love south Carroll failed South Carolina governors and congressmen who come up and say Hey vote my way you know this is the state that trump won his first big primary race and that triumphantly sent him to the nomination those New Hampshire voters generally like South Carolina governors in general let alone once we're going to oppose the sitting Republican president he set up his office up there and apparently today according to the post and career posting career down in the palmetto state of South Carolina he was standing outside his New Hampshire statehouse running by fifteen members of the media and two step and no voters entire with just fifty members of the media to staffers and no voters which may be one of the reasons why to shut this down and he announced that sixty five days after he began his run for the presidency mark Sanford was no more so we salute you mark Sanford you know you're a governor and yet believing humiliation then you're a congressman and your own voters said we don't want you anymore your party's voters that we don't watch any more than you thought you could be president I don't know what's next mark Sanford for the world mark Sanford for emperor of the universe mark Sanford for CNN analyst Washington small W. I released two statements as you know, and you know, all I can do is what I've always done. And that's to be honest, northbound I said, he was present in the photos, he later reverse that Democrats have been calling on him. Him to step down. The controversy comes as Democrats are both trying to maintain a principal stance on racism and are also close to consolidating power in the state that has slowly been turning more blue Corey DB Walker is a professor at the university of Richmond. Hi, corey. And thanks for joining the takeaway, I Matt and glad to be here with you, Cory. What's your reaction to what we've seen in the last seventy two hours in the Commonwealth of Virginia. And I'm curious your reaction, not just to the democratic governors racist photos. But also what shocked me even more. The fact that a med school in nineteen Eighty-four allowed such photos to be published in a yearbook just as a citizen of the Commonwealth and a citizen of the United States. I'm appalled that the not only at the photo. But also at the level of consciousness of the institution that will allow graduating medical students to take photos of that matter, and then to publish them in the yearbook where the we find them funny or performance the question that we have to. Begin to engage is what type of medical institution would see this as something to be made fun of particularly for individuals who are going out to practice medicine in a radically plural society, Corey give us some context here. The the national coverage focuses on this one event, but as a native Jinyan and a historian how does it fit into the states bigger issues on race and even issues in recent history on race? I think anyone looking at the Commonwealth of Virginia and looking at at our history will understand that. This is a a very fraught issue and goes to the very foundations not only of this state, but also this nation when you think that twenty nine team becomes the year where we celebrate the four hundredth anniversary of the first enslave African landing in English speaking America, you're reminded that this doesn't happen that accurate. It happens with a longer history of racial animus. Longer history of racial violence and a longer history of anti black racism when we just look at the contemporary moment. Let's say the last twenty to twenty five years in Virginia politics, we look at the candidacy and the campaigns of former Governor George Allen photos came out where he's meeting with prominent members of white supremacists. Organizations back in the nineteen ninety s we look at governor Allen again in the mkaku moment in the early two thousands when he's running for Senate. We look at the contentious senatorial campaign of twenty twelve looking at politics in Virginia in light of the Shelby decision in two thousand thirteen. And of course, we're looking at this in light of Charlottesville. So when you take this photo, it it's not just one instance, it's an instance of an end sedan that has built up over the course of time and in Virginia, it is part of a de Niro divisive politics that is taken over the state north. One in two thousand seventeen against Republican Ed Gillespie, partly because of African Americans support. How do you think this story is resonating a black communities right now across Virginia who among people who may have voted for north ERM or or those who may have been wooed away from Gillespie to north them? What is their reaction? What are their thoughts at this moment? At this moment. It is really a betrayal. The radio percent of African Americans went for row with them. But these were pragmatic politics, and in terms of your choices. It's either Ralph Northam or Ed Gillespie who who's running an overtly racist racialist campaign, particularly around immigration. You don't have really this full choice of candidates. But now when you have this come out now see that there is a choice, and that choice becomes the Lieutenant governor Justin fair fat. Yeah. Bright, aggressive, assertive and pragmatic and progressive politician who really has the ability to move the state forward. He's also a descendant of slave is that right? That's right. And he carries that with him. And when it comes time for Republican counterparts to recognize an honor, Robert E Lee, Justin. Fairfax took the principal stance. Not only this year, but his first year in office stepping down from the day as to say that this is not right. So we're seeing a principal leader who is consistent in his principles answers. And when we look at the changing stories around Northam, you see these totally opposite responses, and I think it is the responses that we see from governor northbound compared to the responses from Justin Fairfax that has so many people in the Commonwealth saying, let's move on from this an us have Justin Fairfax as the next governor. And we need to continue to work on this thing we call race not only in Virginia. But also throughout America following the publication of the photos Democrats around the country. I've been calling on north them to resign. Seems like Democrats are trying to take principal stance in this case and the stances that their party will not tolerate this kind of racist behavior. And then in response, you you've seen some conservatives reminding their supporters that Democrats are the party of slavery in the K K K is that historically accurate and relevant for this conversation. Of course, not no the parties have changed, and that that line of argument to say that the Republicans are the party of Lincoln, and the Democrats are the Dixiecrats what we what we have are. They changing configurations of all the parties structures. There's no one static party. That has always been for African Americans. I know one static party that has always been to the advantage for African Americans. We saw African Americans started to lead the. Democratic Party as early as nineteen twenty eight while. So when we hear those conversations in public, we need to begin to think folks, let us contextualized this, and let us be realistic about our contemporary moment. And of course, when you're looking at route north of no one is taking Ralph Northam in isolation. This is also the same conversation that we're having with our Republican colleagues. Of course, what President Trump what we're seeing? Here is not a party issue. This is an American issue. This is an issue that goes to the very foundations of the nation. We still have a D unresolved issue on the question of race. And no one party is innocent in that conversation, and it's going to require an entire nation to deal with.

"Jim has weighed in Glen Burnie saying, Sean and Frank no north them. Should not resign. The whole thing seems to be coincidental with the timing of it, right? Excuse me, the timing of it right after the infanticide issue. The voters voted him in in the voters should decide not holier than thou politicians McAuliffe. And by the whole thing is too neat. And tidy could be a setup. Well, it's interesting. The gym should say that because our Washington Examiner is reporting that a conservative website big league politics was reportedly tipped off about the racist photo by one of northern former classmates in the big league politics. Politics told the Washington compost, the individual reached out because of anger over his recent comments about a Bill that would loosen restrictions on abortions. Quote, the revelations about Ralph northern racist past were absolutely driven by his medical school classmates. Anger over his recent very public support for infanticide. So now the question is was that the reason why was there a prolife person who was just horrified and wanted to this is one way if he knew he wasn't gonna be taken out for the infanticide comments. As was the middle the other shoe to drop on what is the democrat party taken down on their own. Knowing that he would be there would be baggage in perhaps it would lose the governor's seat next next election in Virginia as a result his Lieutenant governor, by the way, a black guy. So interesting. By the way. This might explain why Northam was so quick to advocate infanticide. He received two million dollars fan donations from Planned Parenthood two million dollars. So they are they pour that into his campaign. That's according to Virginia public access project. So I wanna make sure we got that out there as well. And L A writing into the show. She says Wiggins got a great idea. Let's add a government regulation any any federal money tied to the goes to Planned Parenthood. They must report the demographical breakdown of the mother and child for every abortion performed in this country. Wouldn't you love to know, what demo group is being destroyed? Once that information was known and you'd see the fight. They would ensue. I know what you're thinking. They won't do that. While we can just add this subject to the abortion argument. Yeah. That would love to see. Of course, we do know some of that in a generic sense. We do know that eighty six percent of all abortions that were performed in New York last survey that I saw were to to black babies, and that's a vedic king, and I have discussed that at great length. Let's go to Bob in Parkfield. Robert, what is your take on this? Obviously, you know about abortion. He's he's. Did. No doubt in my mind. You know, it's it's it's also wrote of on the people that voting how this country has gone with some of his. Especially when you can come to the point that you can make the photograph more important than a baby's life. You're exactly right. It is infanticide. I. Here that if a child is born with down syndrome, you can destroy that CHA comes down syndrome. Children people up. Snack going to stand for this too. Damn. Nine cents. It's gotta stop because. I thought it was bad enough on. Oh. Twice to be president and commander in chief for eight years. Draft dodger. But this is my life you're talking about. And I'm not gonna settle for this. I can I can talk. Therapies as only are the politicians. They can go straight L as far as I'm concerned. Well, I'm glad you brought up the politicians ball because it's the politicians who have remained silent as well. As the media remaining silent. Guilty. I'm gonna agreement on that. That's why I said it. Demands, right. Well, it's Europe's upset right bobbin pox on all their houses. Thanks for the call for ten WCBS. Exactly. One eight hundred WCBS six eighty again, you're looking at this is sad. That's what it's come to be divine intervention here. You know, maybe. All right. So you're you know, you're not going to take him out on a fantasy. Let's drop this in your lap. But there again, these these photos have been out. I heard one of the Fox News contributors over the weekend saying that they got a hold of these photos during the last election cycle. So they were out there. People knew about them and people ignore them, including the Washington compost democracy dies in the darkness. Well, so did their values and their journalistic integrity. Because let's face it. They used to go looking for stuff. Remember, they took. They tried to get the George Allen junior out and Rick Perry with the N word rock story. Remember that the N word rock story. That's they went all the way down to Texas to find somebody that they try to fix some kind of racist past to a governor Rick Perry that the same thing. The Governor George Allen the macaque monkey comment a reporter following him around here. They were hitting the face with racist photos of of north and his classmates, and the fact of the matter is that fairly common knowledge, what his nickname was. And they didn't write anything about that. And the campaign not a word didn't utter a word. So that's how fake news. They are. They're outsell selective. How biased how prejudice they are against the party, which they are the media propaganda wing of the democrat party. They Washington compost..

"Governor of Virginia. Justin, Edward Fairfax. Who's thirty nine years old? Is let me see him. He'll be forty. He'll turn forty in. February February seventeenth is a democrat. So if the Ku Klux Klan governor governor north and would resign. Virginia would have a a black man as governor lot of irony there. Let's go to Ray up and Lorraine next on nightside. Welcome. You're on the ringcentral nightside caller line. Ray? How are you tonight? Hi, dan. How are you doing great, sir? What's on your mind? What's your take on this? You keep coughing yourself. This is another great showing the show. So that's an addiction. You can live with. Right. Right. Addictions. Yes. Yeah. Okay. I have a disclaimer here. I have not seen photo video whatever it is. And and I've been accused in my life of being to the to the right of Rush Limbaugh. You know, so. So, but I consider myself. Nobody is totally but I consider myself to be. Hopefully, affair, man. Okay. And I think I've been told that by my kids, and when you kids, so you're. It's more than a grain of salt. You know, my kids tell me unfair. But I am I am. I am I fear. They say unfair your context. Go ahead. Okay. So I just using the subject at hand as a launching pad. And again, I have not seen the video. And I don't know what this man's history or anything other than the last couple of days. But I I'm I'm curious as to if if this is all that, you know, obviously could you've it yourself. Yeah. It's out there. And if he has not. And I don't know. Anything about him. But if he has not in any way, cried along the line to redeem themselves by maybe changing, you know, people do have a Christian camp to believe in pepperonis and things like that. And redemptive actions and things so any this applies to him. But I'm saying if if he has a long history of this up to an absolutely positively he should be out of office by his own handled. By the only the only thing that I can add to the conversation is when you see the photograph realize how. How how this is? This is not Saana. Let me put it like that. He he had a debate with a black Republican named Jackson when he was running down Lieutenant governor. Thousand thirteen at the end of the debate the videos out there wouldn't shake the guy's hand. Now. Maybe he refused to shake the guy's hand because he was a Republican. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So. Tonight. This is the state let me just play it about fifteen seconds to get your your does this sound genuine. This sounds to me like a guy who's upset. He got caught. I'm deeply sorry. I cannot change the decision. I made can I undo the harm my behavior calls then and today, but I accept responsibility for my past actions. And I'm ready to do the hard work of regaining your trust. Genuine. I would say from what you just played. I would say that was a trying to save his political way rand. And and I can call them as I see him. And nobody's on a percent. But I would just like to say in a general criminal get right off the phone because you get other great call coming. And I'm sure but the thing is this. I mean, if I know this guy, and he was a great guy. He just died last year he was ninety one. And he he was unbelievable worldwide two that unbelievable guy who would do anything for anybody. And he used to say to me is to say to me it various times. It's like, Raymond. I would not want an instant video replay of all the things I pulled in my life. Who was it who right? Exactly, exactly exactly. So I if this guy is definitely a racist a pizza he has to go one way or the other, and I have no love for the democrat party and what they're doing to this country. I all I'm saying Ray is this your your ninety one year old veteran who did what he did in terms of service to the country, right? Right. Listen, the governor of Massachusetts that. No, no, no, no, no. Can I ask one question? Please be quick as I got a I got to. I heard somewhere on the news today. And I'm not sure what the source was. But there's another photo on something like a photo or video of him in the military when he was in a net. Also lends itself to racism, so if you might you might want to explore that if you haven't heard that. But I am told by some news source that it was as I was driving around today that there was a military photograph or video in in his military career. What? I'll look for it. I haven't heard it.
