"America at night. With rich valdes. We want to make sure that everybody that goes through a Florida university has to take certain core course requirements that's really focused on giving them the foundation so that they can think for themselves. And the core curriculum must be grounded in actual history, the actual philosophy that has shaped western civilization. Our institutions will be graduating students. I think with degrees that are going to be meaningful, we don't want students to go through a taxpayer expense and graduate with a degree in zombie studies. And so this is going to make a difference. So the degree in zombie study seems to be what is plaguing the minds of so many left leaning students coming out of these indoctrination mills each day. And this is part of what's affecting the culture. Welcome back, everybody. It's rich Valdez and as promised our guest is David Horowitz, he's editor at front page magazine. He's got a brand new book out called final battle. The next election could be the last, David Horowitz, welcome, sir. Thank you for having me. You back, take over the university by ideologues. What's happened over a 50 year period. That's corrupted our politics national dialog some color. And I admire governor desantis. And I appreciate the intention of this reform, but it's the personnel out of the problem. They did 5 books about the takeover of the universities. And conservatives and patriots were just too damn complacent. And they let it happen. Without a fight. Because their own school might follow the values of this country, which are used to peer, democracy, where you have to have to create points of view and that you have to respect points that disagree with you, perspectives that disagree with you and so forth. And that was completely eroded in the 90s and first 20 years. Of the century. Great tragedy for the country. Yeah, I got the attention of Republicans like John beta, what it was speaker. But then there are two plus words resolution that they should be fair and balanced. Based on that student Bill of rights and I draw it up. But he did it to mess with the Democrats. I was serious about saying university. It's been typical up to this point. And here we are. However, yeah. What do you think the change is? Do you think more governors do Create a one party state for 30 years now. Look at the Arizona election. The Democrats over the decades have destroyed election that we don't want to have an election day. You can vote for the election. So what does that mean? Well, it means that the Democrats who have their overall organized almost they have all these organizations that go and harass people until they agree with them. They have voting and September October November. Republicans try to do the right thing and conserve election day. So they all vote on election day. So they are not on election day, 60% of the voting machines didn't work. So if you want to desperately to vote, you have to maybe take three hours out of your day or four or whatever. Standing line of Wally tried to remedy the situation with 60% of the machines, not working. Do you think that happens by accident? That's the kind of state where you can't even see the fix. If you look at what's happened on January 6th, here's something that people have overlooked that's in my book final battle. On January 2nd, are they for January 6th? Happened to be the anniversary of Trump's assassination of general Soleimani, the world's leading terrorist, the man responsible for having wounded warriors. Of course, the Democrats criticized Trump to do that saying it was a provocative act. The Iranians took a boardroom view and Wuhan to dictator. Says Trump will not only be removed from office he had already lost its radiation. 2020, but he will be removed from life. So of course the security forces that are supposed to protect our president have meetings and the chief of presidential security is general Mark milley. The genius is Afghanistan to the Chinese and the Taliban. And Nelly, went around to these meetings. Current Trump Hitler saying that the stop to steal speech was the gospel of the Führer that direct quote and that his supporters, this is another to our COVID guys week 400 World War II that Nazis. And where did I get this information? From a book written by two Washington Post reporters. And the reaction of people. Names. Who was the guy on CNN? Anyway, Anderson Cooper. That was quite wonderful. I was treason. Right. He's a real hero. And the Democrats closes an armed insurrection when there was not
Rep. Jim Banks: Ron DeSantis Shows How to Fight Wokeness
"As I travel around Florida especially South Florida there's a large very powerful and vocal Hispanic population they love them They think this is great because they're very conservative people who don't want their kids going to school and looking at porn in the library This is a popular fight It's not just an ethical and moral one It wins politically too Yeah that's exactly right I mean the boldness of governor desantis has taught all of the rest of us in politics that we can go out and effectively wage these fights and win them and as politically popular back home in our districts too I mean it's why it's why I started the anti woke caucus I mean to gather us together to talk about how all this stuff has just taken over all of our institutions like the government like our schools like the military and how we can how we can fight back against it But you're exactly right It is suicidal for our country How can we raise up the next generation of young men and women to do what you and I did raise our right hand take an oath of office that will serve protect and defend our country and then at the same time teach them in school or in other places that America is inherently racist and evil and not worth dying and fighting for me That's a recipe for disaster for our country that fails to raise up the next generation of patriotic Americans that we need to sustain this great country So that's what I'm worried about It's one of the reasons I got into this race for the United States Senate We need a new generation of senators who are fighting that fight and fighting back against wokeness in our federal government and our military and our schools
Fresh update on "governor desantis" discussed on The Dan Bongino Show
"The power of the person that subpoena power now. Do you feel like leadership on the Republican side is committed to reforms at the FBI too 'cause we can't go on like this and you again being a veteran who served the country honorably, this has got to sting. Yeah, I served in Afghanistan, where the uniform and I hear from our men and women in uniform every day who are just sick and tired of all of the woke crap being pushed on them, spending more time and diversity equity and inclusion seminars than doing anything that remotely prepares them to go out and fight wars with our biggest enemies like China. So let me give you an example though of the type of stuff that we're already doing. I mean, we're just a couple of weeks into setting up this new House Republican majority. And Mike Rogers, my friend from Alabama, he's the chairman of the House armed services committee, asked me to chair the subcommittee that would be at the tip of the spear of going after wokeness in the military and chairman Rogers and I just wrote a letter today to The Pentagon related to calissa wing. She's the Department of Defense military education, senior official who the Biden White House is refusing to fire even though she said these things. She said quote, where can I get a break from all of this white nonsense, she said one time. And as you said, quote, I'm exhausted by 99% of the white men in education, 95% of the white women. And then the last thing she said, she had to stop giving a session and give Karen the business because of because it was another alleged anti another woke message that she was pushing. So this is the kind of stuff that we hear from our troops every single day about examples like these and we're attacking it. We're fighting back on us. It's why a couple of weeks ago I started the first ever anti woke caucus in the Congress strategize how we can uproot wokeness because wokeness is weakness and that type of weakness should never be projected by our United States military. We're talking to congressman Jim banks, running for Senate, and Indiana, website, banks for Senate dot com. Congressman, this is the kind of thing to this fighting back against this woke insanity. I mean, it's suicidal. It's faction off the country into corners of a ring like it's a Royal Rumble and sicking them against one another. I mean, it's always been a socialist plan to do that. I just don't think they ever thought it would be so successful. But the fight against it has turned out to be incredibly politically popular. I live in Florida, we have Ron DeSantis down here in Florida. He was a congressman and congressman congressional district 6 before. He was the governor. And he's been waging war against his stuff down here. And one in Florida by 20 points, which, as you probably know, congressman is the equivalent of a hundred points anywhere else. I mean, if you win by one point, Florida is a landslide. We've got a history of that. He won by 20. And it's interesting, because as I travel around Florida, especially South Florida, there's a large, very powerful and vocal Hispanic population, they love them. They think this is great because they're very conservative people who don't want their kids going to school and looking at porn in the library. This is a popular fight. It's not just an ethical and moral one. It wins politically, too. Yeah, that's exactly right. I mean, the boldness of governor desantis has taught all of the rest of us in politics that we can go out and effectively wage these fights and win them and as politically popular back home in our districts too. I mean, it's why it's why I started the anti woke caucus. I mean, to gather us together to talk about how all this stuff has just taken over all of our institutions like the government like our schools like the military and how we can how we can fight back against it. But you're exactly right. It is suicidal for our country. How can we raise up the next generation of young men and women to do what you and I did raise our right hand, take an oath of office that will serve protect and defend our country and then at the same time teach them in school or in other places that America is inherently racist and evil and not worth dying and fighting for me. That's a recipe for disaster for our country that fails to raise up the next generation of patriotic Americans that we need to sustain this great country. So that's what I'm worried about. It's one of the reasons I got into this race for the United States Senate. We need a new generation of senators who are fighting that fight and fighting back against wokeness in our federal government and our military and our schools. Talking to congressman Jim banks then run for Senate congressman. Your thoughts on the last election. I've asked this to most of the elected officials we've had on. And I get a number of different answers, a lot of them have a common theme, but it wasn't the disaster, by the way, everybody painted it out to me, but it was a very strange election. Probably the first one in my lifetime where it was so regional. We had just dominating performances in Florida, portions to North Carolina, New York of all places. It was just so strange how we did and in other places the Republican Party just got destroyed, Michigan, a state that I thought was trending a little more red and getting away from it. It's deep blue past. What do you think happened up there? I mean, you guys did okay in the house, but the Senate side you're running for Senate now in the next cycle, but the Senate cycle was a disaster. I mean, there's no way to frame it. It just didn't, it was terrible for us. Yeah, I have a lot of thoughts about this, Dan. I think at the end of the day, Republicans failed to project a bold vision for our country. Obviously the voters are sick and tired of Democrat leadership. I mean, 75% of Americans say the country is on the wrong track and Joe Biden has historically terrible approval ratings for a sitting United States president. So you look at that, then you wonder, why did we only win a four seat majority? Why do we lose the Senate? I think it's because we didn't project the bold vision that of what we stand for. And on top of that, I mean, you go back to when I first got to Congress when we were in the majority in the House, a different era of Republican leadership. And we had Republican leaders in the majority failed to live up to their promises and commitments that they made like to build the wall and secure the border. We had Republican leadership in the house who was fighting against the new president Donald Trump to do something that the American people were begging us to do, that that's why they elected Donald Trump to be president in the first place. So the voters are rightly very skeptical of Republican leadership. But the good news is that we have a Republican majority and if we carry through and fulfill our commitments and promises, we'll grow the majority. And I think we'll win back The White House too because of it. Yeah, I think so too. We're talking to congressman Jim banks. He's running for Senate. The website is banks for Senate. Dot com. You'd like to check them out and support him. It's in the great state of Indiana. That race congresswoman got about a minute left here, but the next cycle for the Senate, I don't want to get

"Be the lead plaintiffs in a historic loss. Earlier this week, governor desantis doubled down on his decision to block the course. What's one of the lessons about? Queer theory. He said the material includes critical race theory and called it a political agenda. To see they have stuff about intersectionality, abolishing prisons. And so we're on, that's the wrong side of the line for Florida's standards. Queer theory is covered in a portion of the course's syllabus and some scholars insist it's crucial in understanding the history of African Americans. Some added that people who aren't experts in the field should stay out of it. The White House also chiming in. Press secretary karine Jean Pierre called the Florida van incomprehensible. They have banned more books in schools and libraries than almost every other state in the country. Christopher Rufo: Wells Fargo, Others Are Using Race to Give Mortgages
"They have some new policy going forward on mortgages and racial stuff going on Hey what That sounds kind of weird to me There are law against that here Check this out So Wells Fargo used to be the biggest mortgage lender in the United States Now they're downsizing instead of offering mortgages to everyone They're going to focus instead on giving mortgages to quote individuals and families in minority communities In other words not letting money to white people Is that illegal The journalists and filmmaker Chris rufo has been on this story we should tell you the governor desantis afforded a pointed roof out to the board of trustees at the new college of Florida in an effort to end at the ideological rot there Chris ruffo joins us Now Chris thanks so much for coming up This is another one of those stories that you feel like this has to be too far Tell us what you know about it Well what we're seeing is the emergence of two separate standards based on race and the disappearance of this idea that everyone should be treated equally under the law and then judge according to the behavior I think it's important for conservatives understand that these programs are not simply a hypocrisy or kind of two sides of a difference of a same standard They're actually entirely different standards We're creating a moral basis based on identity that is seeking to seeking to supplant or replace a moral basis on behavior And these companies are just following the lead of the academics the universities the activists on the left and they're saying we're going to not judge people on their financial solvency or reliability but on the basis of a racial revenge narrative And they're saying simply we're going out to judge you on the basis of race It's illegal but in so many cases they're getting away with it Yep Listen to what he just said Christopher rufo something we've said on this show many times There's not a double standard with liberals It's one single standard where in charge and you are not
An Action Roadmap Called 'The DeSantis Model'
"The desantis model Now this has been something introduced over the past month plus and while the vision that Trump has laid out since announcing his 2024 presidential run would be highly effectual right now well it's going to be a minimum of two years and three weeks before he would potentially have the opportunity to begin to enact it There's another speech that was delivered recently by none other than Ford governor Ron DeSantis that's immediately actionable And it ties into what I've been talking about In today's show while keynoting the annual Republican governors association meeting he laid out a message and a road map that needs to be immediately acted upon across the country It's the Florida model or perhaps you could call it the desantis model So at the Republican governor's association get together Desantis was greeted as a rockstar Replete with the standing O upon entering remember this all Republican fellow governors from across the country He even had some that engaged in a political champ that I had at least I'd never heard before Maybe you have but it was new to me It was the chant of two more years Two more years Now of course with governor desantis having just one another four year term as for his governor These chance are either kind of like ruthless wishing him ill or a preference for him running for president Thus meaning that he would only remain the governor of Florida for two more years Now given the temperature of the room I will go with the latter And before getting down to the brass tacks of the desantis model this development given that Donald Trump had already made his 2024 presidential announcement
Gov. Ron DeSantis Has Empowered a Grand Jury to Investigate Vaccines
"Today, governor Ron DeSantis announced that the state of Florida is impaneling a grand jury to review evidence to hold COVID-19 vaccine manufacturers accountable under Florida law. Today I am announcing a petition with the Supreme Court of Florida to impanel a statewide grand jury to investigate any and all wrongdoing in Florida with respect to the COVID-19 vaccines. We anticipate that we will get approval for that. Governor desantis stated at a round table conference with medical professionals and vaccine injured citizens. Didn't have many times, I now reading about unbelievably healthy people like athletes, which is dropping dead for no reason. There are, there are attempts to quantify this number and to give names to these people. Of course, it's never reported that way. Sudden
Trump or DeSantis; Do We Have to Choose?
"I read your piece in the New York Post. And I'm going to do this gingerly because I, it's a sensitive subject, but we're both big boys. So you and I, a new especially because you worked for president Trump, were extraordinary fans of his presidency. Right. And here you are writing a really positive piece on desantis. Right. Is there something to be read into that fact? No, there isn't. And that's why I try to be careful about this in the piece to point out that right now there was one person in the 2024 presidential field and that is president Trump. No one else has declared and that field might well not really take shape for many months and to next spring or next summer. And what I point out there, though, is I think this is a fake sort of binary choices. So I have to be sort of team Trump or team desantis. I have tremendous admiration for both of them. And I think this country is blessed to have both of them. I think president Trump remains the foremost leader of the America first movement, and at the same time, and there's no chasm here. There's no battle at the same time. Ron DeSantis is the best elected official in all of America. I think not just the best governor. I think he's the best elected official in all of America. Now, if they do choose to run against each other, if Ron DeSantis does enter because of course, Trump's in if Ron governor desantis does indeed enter. What I'll say is this Dennis, I believe that that the eventual Victor of that competition will be so much better for having beaten a very worthy opponent. It would be good for the movement, competitive primaries are good for the movement and good for the country. So if that in fact does happen, either one of them, whoever wins will have really earned that victory over a very, very worthy competitor if it indeed happens.
Why Did DeSantis Do so Well in Florida
"Why did governor desantis and Republicans in Florida do so well? Well, a couple of reasons, I think, first off, Florida is now red state. I think COVID changed Florida 5 foot over the top in terms of more Republicans registered now than Democrats and a lot of the migration that happened during COVID since a lot of successful people to Florida who are Republicans. Secondly, governors have done a good job. In Florida and ran a good campaign as did Marco Rubio. And so, but that's not kid ourselves. As Florida's not Wisconsin anymore. As far as not Michigan anymore, Florida is not Nevada anymore. Those are purple states. Florida is a red state now. And according to San Francisco's credit for being a good governor and we're ready to break the race for reelection. And Marco ran a very good race for reelection to the Senate.
Kayleigh McEnany Makes Curious Comments About President Trump
"McEnany, what is she doing? Didn't she work for president Trump? I do think she did on Fox today. She said something unfortunate about president Trump and about Georgia, play cut. No, no, no, no, no. 2022 is not over. Three point. Every Republican energy needs to go to grinding the Biden agenda to a halt. And that could go straight through the state of Georgia. And is that include Trump? I think he needs to put on pause. Absolutely. Look, he'll make that decision. We'll make his own decision, but does he go to crime advising any contender? Desantis, Trump, whomever, no one announces 2024 until we get through December 6th. Do you see the former president? A need for him to go to Georgia? I think we've got to make strategic calculations. Governor desantis, I think he should be welcome to the state given what happened last night. You've got to look at the realities on the ground and Herschel Walker. We've got to win the Senate. That's it, guys. So we got to win the Senate, but the man who got 70 more 74 million votes shouldn't go to Georgia. What's the logic there Caylee? I'm curious, I might have to text you for you to explain that to me.
Florida Passed Voter Reforms, Other States Should, Too
"What has to change this time There needs to be bipartisan outrage at this absurdity At .2 my state of Florida again We used to be the joke of the country you know it And finally after 2018 and governor desantis was a big part of it Said enough is enough We got rid of two corrupt election supervisors and we passed a series of modernization policies By the way one of the big ones Every vote has a paper backup We have modern modernization systems so everything's computerized but we also have paper ballots to back up every single vote Election supervisors are allowed to tabulate vote by mail ballots ahead of election day When the big problems you're having and these states that are still counting ballots that don't allow them to start counting on a balance until election day the vote by mail ballots That's stupid If you're going to have vote by mail ballots let them do it ahead of time And for what we can do to up to 40 days ahead of time We also have a state run election integrity office as well Reforms matter The whole reason Florida went from being a joke as recently as 2018 To running the most efficient elections of any state and were the third largest Is because we enacted smart reforms It's not hard These states absolutely need to do that
Mark Morgan Reflects on DeSantis' Migrant Transfer
"Because I haven't asked you in the beginning, mister G and I who has a very good political sense. We looked at the abbot desantis busing migrants thing as a kind of cheap stunt, what difference does it make when you've got millions flooding across the border? But when it arrived in Martha's Vineyard and he saw the national God being mobilized to get him off and get him into a camp, what did you think of that little political play? So I thought, so I was kind of in the dissented opinion when first governor Abbott had it. I actually said it was genius. Oh, you did? I did. Because look, his goal was he knew that wasn't going to change what was happening in southwest border. But what he knew was that it was going to keep it in the top fold. And it was going to show the left that their hypocrisy. And just when I thought governor Abbott had done a good job, and then governor desantis goes, he just kind of won the ups him, right? By sending Martha vineyard. An area probably one of the most richest enclaves and the face of the planet, right? And part of their, they actually billboards as part of their mission statement saying, we welcome and everybody. They have it right there in the harbor. We welcome all immigrants. They couldn't, they couldn't corral them up fast enough and get them out of there so fast. Would have been a camp. Military. Military camp. So one, just a hypocrisy, but I tell you what. I did more interviews. And the 30 days following that, then I had probably 60 days. Sorry, what? If you got people to talk about the border. Even the mainstream media. So
Politico: Florida Republicans, Trump Defy DeSantis
"Is reporting there is some bad blood brewing between desantis and Trump and its over a rally that president Trump is holding for senator Marco Rubio. This is going to be held in Florida and apparently no one in the desantis team was told about this. Nobody said that nobody told the governor gave the governor's team a heads up that Trump is going to be going to Miami just two days before the midterms and keep in mind desantis is in a pretty significant battle for his job as governor going up against Charlie Crist. Now I think the governor is going to be able to pull out a big win here. But you just don't know. And so you would think that the Trump team would have invited governor desantis to come and be a part of the rally. The governor's name was not on any of the announcements. And apparently the governor is not going to be attending the rally with president Trump and senator Marco Rubio. Reading from the political article here, the apparent snub angered some within desantis orbit who complained that Florida governors team was not informed of the rally prior to Trump announcing it. The timing of the Trump and Rubio event means any campaign event desantis holds that day will not get as much attention during the final stretch of the 2022 midterms. Quote, you've got the Sunday before election day totally hijacked by Trump parachuting in on Trump force one. Taking up the whole day, a longtime Republican consultant who is close to the governor said.
Joe Biden Politicizes Hurricane Ian, Blaming Damage to Climate Change
"Here was Joe Biden yesterday speaking of Florida hurricane assistance. And it was, I admit, it was a nice moment to see governor desantis and President Biden together pledging to help the people of Florida, but then Biden had to politicize it. Incidentally, desantis didn't, in any way, shape or form. Listen to here's cut number one. Listen to Joe Biden. And what he said about climate change, we're in a situation where the Colorado River looks more like a stream. There's a lot going on. And I think the one thing this is finally ended is the discussion about whether or not there's climate change we should do something about it. You know, I'm not I don't consider myself a bad person. I think I'm a pretty decent guy. And I did want to say, wow, that's great to see. Biden and desantis there. And then there's Biden obsessing about climate change and global warming, and he couldn't help himself. This is what Democrats do. A hurricane hits a state and they want to preach their climate change doctrine. Here's cut three. Listen to Biden being asked by a reporter about his visit to Florida with governor desantis. What the governor's done is pretty remarkable. In terms of, you know, it's first of all the biggest thing the governor's John and some of the others have done. They'd recognize this thing called global warming. The world is changing. It's changing. That's sickens me.
As Floridians recover from Ian, most do so without flood insurance
"Nearly half a million Florida residents wait for utilities to be restored in the aftermath of hurricane Ian in Florida rescuers continued to search for victims or people who want to leave their flooded homes But for many like John gunter the mayor of hard hit Cape Coral job one after hurricane Ian is restoring utilities Our priority focus right now is water sewer and electricity Florida power and light says the utility expects to have power restored to 95% of its service areas by the end of Friday The storm washed away bridges and roads at a news conference on Monday night governor desantis said the state is working on temporary bridges More than a 130 F tracks deployed to begin working
Ed Ryan: Why Some People Did Not Evacuate for Hurricane Ian
"Of the reasons for that was back when Irma hit everybody in the barrier islands Fort Myers beach sanibel pine island, and they were all told that the storm surge was going to be so bad that it was going to have the potential to destroy buildings. And what happened was there was no storm surge. So I think there was a false sense of security this time around where they said, watch out, watch out for the storm surge, and people decided if they had a two story building, they were just going to move up or if they had an addict, they were just going to move up. And what happened was it was so high. Mike, when I tell you that, we looked at some of the buildings during the storm where there were cameras set up on high rises. The buildings were underwater. I mean, some of the houses on fort Mars beach are so old, the cottages. They were just, they were just broken into tiny little pieces. There was no chance for people to survive if there were something like that. Mobile home parks, same thing. They're at least two or three on four Mars beach. They just totally destroyed all of those, all those facilities. So, you know, there was a mandatory evacuation. I think governor desantis did a great job. I think the county leaders and Lee county did a great job giving people enough time to get out. I mean, how much time and how many times do you need to be told to get out before you, you know, in your mind you're thinking, I'm staying. I mean, the traffic wasn't bad enough during the initial evacuation where they had to open the shoulder of I 75 or any of the busy roads. They were ready to do that. And so, you know, the people on those islands that decided to stay, they were going to stay. It wasn't like it was the last minute, 15 minutes you have to get out. "Biden says Ian could be one of the deadliest storms in Florida's history. The numbers of still are still unclear, but we're hearing early reports of what may be substantial loss of life. President Biden says he's been in touch with Florida governor Ron DeSantis, the governor says it will take time to confirm casualties, but rescuers have been busy. There have been more than 700 confirmed rescues and there's likely many more than that that will be confirmed as more data comes in. Governor desantis says the state is trucking in supplies to those in need, but blackouts could last for days. Well, we'll keep you posted on the latest damage and disruption from the storm, but first Nathan, we turn back to the markets. It's the last day of the third quarter and stocks begin the session at a 22 month low. So far this quarter, $1.3 trillion has been wiped off the value of the S&P 500 and CFR chief investment strategist Sam stovall says October could be even worse. Even though September does have a reputation of being volatile, 21% of the trading days in September typically see a 1% move either up or down, but we've had two and a half times that number this year. And if you think September is bad, just wait till October because that traditionally sees 36% more volatility than the average for the other 11 months of the year. The cfr a Sam stovall expects stocks to soon retest their lows. Hawkish talk from the fed has been weighing on markets, Karen, San Francisco, president Mary Daly says the Central Bank is committed to raising interest rates until it restores price stability. Navigating the economy toward a more sustainable path necessitates higher interest rates in a downshift in the pace of economic activity and the labor market. But for now, inducing a deep recession, the kind we had back in the 1980s or some would even think of the Great Recession. That is not warranted. San Francisco fed president Mary Daly says she is worried about possibly tightening policy too much. If it is keeping its eye on economic data, Nathan, including another report on sentiment this morning. We get September's reading from the University of Michigan at 10 a.m. Wall Street time, and we get a preview from Bloomberg's of any del giudice. The University of Michigan consumer sentiment index has been recovering after setting a record low in June. Gasoline prices have eased somewhat. Dangerous persists though. Back here in the U.S., Karen, we have some corporate news of note, including the end of an era at Facebook parent meta. CEO Mark Zuckerberg has outlined plans to reorganize teams and reduce headcount for the first time ever. Bloomberg technology reporter Kurt Wagner broke the news late yesterday. In some cases, when someone leaves a team, they're just not going to fill that role again. Some people are going to be moving from team to team. And then in some cases, they're going to be kicking out low performers, right? Which is a pretty drastic thing that we haven't seen at Facebook in a long time or ever. And so this really just feels like a moment, right? This company that has been growing and expanding for 18 years finally hitting a bit of an issue here. My Bloomberg skirt Wagner says metal will likely be a smaller company in 2023 than it was this year. The shares are up. 1% in early trading. "Can I got your tongue Call for a ball and call 877-381-3811 right now for Mike Levin. All right, that governor desantis started his briefing. We're going to go live right to it. That's the only way on Santa bell and captiva island. So the operations to help people there have been mostly by air. In all told search and rescue operations, it started in the wee hours of the morning. As soon as the winds died down enough to where it was safe, you had coast guard assets. You had urban search and rescue teams. We've had the National Guard out assisting people. There have been more than 700 confirmed rescues and there's likely many more than that that will be confirmed as more data comes in. People have been rescued from places like Fort Myers, Fort Myers beach, sanibel, Marco island, as well as the barrier islands in Charlotte, county, obviously there was a lot of calls coming in as the storm was really raging yesterday. People who did not evacuate were hunkered down. There was storm surge, there was a lot of apprehension, understandably when initially the first responders came this morning. People would wave them down, whether they were by helicopter boat or high water vehicle. Now what they're finding is on places like sanibel, most of the residents are just waving. Thank you for coming, but they say that they're fine. And that they're staying put now. I think that there's going to be issues with being on some of those islands because they're not going to have services like we expect for quite some time given the limitations of transportation, but nevertheless, that's a sign that some of the folks who did ride it out are stabilized in their home. They are first responders are doing targeted searches, just going home by home, checking to see if people are okay and then responding to specific reports if they're missing loved ones. There will, of course, be many more rescues that are added to the tiller. Now we absolutely expect to have mortality from this hurricane that are just caution people. There's a process by where that is confirmed and I know the people have said certain things in terms of confirmed that will be made a parent over the coming days. But I think the things that have been said out there, that is not something that has been confirmed at this juncture. Of course, we have thousands and thousands of people on the ground working to restore power, opening the roads, bringing in food and water and restoring communications, talking with local folks and Lee county, probably the biggest immediate hurdle that they're facing is their county water utility, had a big water main break. That is necessary to be fixed in order to provide basic water services for the residents of the county, so they have been working to troubleshoot it. They requested the state to enlist federal support to help diagnose and potentially fix the problem. So we worked with fema and Gracia and the Army Corps of engineers came in. I mean, they came in pretty early. I think Kevin called them maybe like three in the morning. They were in Southwest Florida from Jacksonville by early this afternoon. And so they're helping to diagnose and hopefully be able to remedy that. But that's going to be something that's very, very important for the county to get fixed. In the meantime, we are assisting healthcare facilities to provide working water because they need that to be able to take care of their patients. So we're shuttling water from Lakeland into healthcare facilities. Right now they're about 20 trucks en route with 60,000 gallons of water for a total of 1.2 million gallons of water. And I think they have been able to fix some of the water ish one of the three hospitals has actually been able to fix the water problem there. So that's good news. Poor Tampa port Everglades. The fuel is flowing in to some of our major ports. And so you're seeing a lot of fuel now flowing throughout the state, more than 330 thousand gallons of fuel have already been moved into southwest Florida. I actually saw a couple of the gas stations open in the Fort Myers area when we were there today with this fuel, the state of Florida. Efforts, and we think the remaining you can put it back up in Florida will open between sometime tomorrow and sometime on Saturday. There's been a massive amount of supply staged. We're also bringing more into the region, more ambulances, more food water and ice, more generators, more actually we're bringing in two full service mechanical shops to help to repair and maintain emergency vehicles, which they're in rugged conditions when you're going through water and others, bringing in more tarps, bringing in kits for parents of infants and toddlers to give them ten days worth of support and bring in more high water ladders. Now as of 6 p.m., there are 2.6 million approximately reported power outages through throughout the state of Florida, and that was anticipated so far compared to this morning, 200,000 accounts have been restored in Southwest Florida, 28,000 in Lee, 62,000 in Sarasota, 14,000 in Collier, 33,000 in manatee, 12,000 in Charlotte and 44,000 in hillsborough, have been restored of course. The pre staging for this was over 42,000 linemen. So they're there on the ground really in different parts of the state, but particularly in Southwest Florida. When they first got in there, of course, they're looking to see what is the damage. How much of our infrastructure has been has been destroyed, how much of it has held up and I can tell you when we were in Charlotte, the reports were generally positive that a lot of that infrastructure had been able to weather the storm. You still have to work, obviously, to reconnect the power, but in some areas you may need to rebuild from the ground up and other areas where the infrastructure maintained integrity, you would be more just trying to re hook everything. So that's a 24/7 process. So if anybody sees some of the utility trucks pulled over somewhere and maybe someone getting rest understand they're working constant shifts and everyone's on the clock the whole time and they don't actually ever have a time where people are not working. So we really appreciate that because we understand how important it is for folks to have those basic services resume. Of course, damages to cell phone towers, a particularly in places like Lee county, the telecom companies have brought in, they earmarked a hundred cell phone towers being set up and many of those are being set up in Southwest Florida. I've been able to speak with CEOs of both AT&T and T mobile while there have been damages. A lot of their infrastructure has weathered the storm fairly well. So while there may need to be repairs, they feel good about getting up service. And I know some people do have service in those areas and we were able to see that. F dot had more than 1200 personnel in the ground and I'm happy to report the road situation is by and large really good. I think if I was just talking with Kevin before we came out here, if we were here yesterday at like noon thinking about what the road situation would look like, I think we thought that there would have been way, way more roads that were blocked by debris, of course we did have the sanibel. I mean, there are issues, but there is also a lot of roads where the traffic is flowing on I 75 without a problem. And most of the other roads are doing really well. Sunshine skyway bridge has reopened. And so we were happy to see that. Most school districts throughout the state will be reopening either Friday or Monday. Obviously Lee and some of those areas may be a little bit different calculation for them. We're thankful that fema has activated individual assistance for floridians who have been affected by this storm if you are in need of help recovering, visit disaster assistance dot gov or call
Gov. DeSantis: Water Levels May Continue to Rise, Even After the Storm
"Governor desantis earlier today had this to say cut three mister producer go Right now if you look in Central Florida you're looking at potential major flooding and orange and seminal counties St. John's river all the way up potentially into northeast Florida and Jacksonville the amount of water that's been rising and will likely continue to rise today even as the storm is passing Is basically a 500 year flood event And I know Seminole county has done evacuations I know they've opened shelters but we're going to see a lot of images about the destruction that was done in Southwest Florida And obviously we have massive assets there but people should just understand this storm is having broad impacts across the state and some of the flooding you're going to see in areas hundreds of miles from where this made landfall are going to set records And that's going to obviously be things that will need to be responded to So that is a really unfortunate but they're very lucky to have a hands on smart governor there I know governor desantis quite well He's a personal friend I knew him before He was governor when he was at congressman And I've decided at least for the time being not the contact him To come on the program I know others are having them on their programs And I think that's a good thing So we can get the message out But I've just decided to let him do his work and not to be one of those lining up to try and bring him on the program I hope you'll continue to be generous in helping the people of Florida who need our help The Florida disaster fund dot org Florida disaster fund dot org
Roger Schulman: Lee County Sheriff Doesn't Have Reason to Lie
"Roger, that's peculiar that the league county sheriff would make that statement today and it sounds like governor desantis was a little bit more cautious about the assertion that hundreds of people have been killed. Yeah, it was interesting. He also made that comment to the hillsborough county sheriff in a phone call last night on a satellite phone while he was standing on top of the roof of a bearcat vehicle trying to do some rescuing. It looks pretty bad down there and he has no reason to inflate things. I think we are going to have some pretty gruesome discoveries there. And hopefully he is wrong. But I don't think he is inflating a carbon arsinoe is a pretty level headed guy. That seems like a vision. That seems like, but governor desantis seems to suggest that might have been based on the 9-1-1 calls, but nonetheless. That's hundreds of people. There's a big difference between one to two confirmed fatalities as of this moment and hundreds. Well, we're going to find out soon. They are going in as we speak to check on these people through the water and we'll know more probably in the next few hours.
Gov. Ron DeSantis Cannot Confirm 'Hundreds of Deaths' in Lee Conuty
"Here's governor desantis responding to that report from the Lee county sheriff that hundreds of fatalities occurred. Here's what governor desantis said about that. Reports that maybe there were hundreds of fatalities in Lake county of any clarification on health. So none of that is confirmed, I think what that is is there were 9-1-1 calls for people saying, hey, the water is rising in my home. I'm going to go up in the attic, but I'm really worried. Of course, those folks are now going to be going to be checked on. And so I think you'll have more clarity about that in the next day or so as they're able to go to those locations and determine whether people need services or are able to be rescued. Now, I don't want to be critical of law enforcement. I'm just hoping, well, I'm hoping the league county sheriff misspoke when he told Good Morning America today that hundreds of fatalities happened in Lee county, but I also have got to say, what a pretty. Loose thing to say.

"Forecasters are out with their latest predictions about Ian, the tropical storm churning in the central Caribbean right now, but set to become a major hurricane that moves into the Gulf of Mexico Tuesday. Best guess on where Ian goes from there is that it'll make landfall in the lightly populated big bend area of Florida on Friday morning, but governor desantis warns Ian could still move way west or east of that track. There are some models that want to tug this thing more deep into the Florida Panhandle. There are also some that want to bring it for landfall in the Tampa Bay region. So from the Tampa Bay Area all the way up to a scampia county along Florida's Gulf Coast, you could potentially see it make landfall. No matter how Ian tracks, Florida's Gulf Coast can expect some amount of impact in the form of rain and wind. President Biden is okay governor desantis state of emergency declaration and has ordered Homeland Security and fema to start coordinating disaster relief efforts with Florida. The firms that are contracting not only do the people do they give them a release form to sign, they actually give them a packet and in that packet included a map of Martha's Vineyard. So it was obvious that that's what you were going. "NPR news I'm rob Schmidt And Mary Louise Kelly in Florida voting rights groups are challenging new congressional maps maps drawn to favor Republicans and eliminate two districts designed to help elect black lawmakers The maps were submitted by Florida's Republican governor Ron DeSantis and approved last week by Florida's legislature Democrats and other critics say they violate provisions in the state constitution And Pierre's Greg Allen is following all this hey there Greg Hi Mary please Okay so voting rights groups have gone to court Talk us through the how How do they say these maps violate the constitution Well you know about ten years ago Florida voters adopted amendments to the constitution that now govern the redistricting process here One of the provisions that they were adopted say that lawmakers can't draw maps that favor any incumbents or political parties And under the new map Republicans are likely to win 20 of the state's now 28 congressional districts That leaves Democrats with a good chance of winning just 8 of those districts And here's the rub Florida is a state that's almost evenly divided between Republican and democratic voters So you got that 20 to 8 disparity In court Republicans will have to answer questions about why the maps give their party so many more seats almost double the number of the Democrats get Another part of Florida's constitution says that lawmakers can't adopt maps that diminish the voting strength of minorities and this map from the governor eliminates two voting districts established under court order to protect the ability of voters to elect black candidates And that sparked an outcry from by voting rights groups and Democrats Here's state senator Chevron Jones It's a governor desantis I'm not going to be called what you're doing a culture war anymore I'm a call it just what he is It's a racist tactic We've heard that from many other lawmakers and activists as well Desantis is a possible 2024 Republican presidential candidate and Democrats say this is part of his effort to raise his profile in the party Well and I'm trying to figure out why is governor desantis submitting this map anyway Isn't that usually the state legislature's job to draw and adopt new congressional maps Right exactly Well Republicans did drop districts district maps that are first made relatively modest changes from the ones that were adopted several years ago that were approved by the courts but governor desantis told them he was going to veto them and he did He vetoed those maps He then called lawmakers back for a special session where they took up his maps and speedily approved them with no changes really Republican lawmakers felt like they had little choice but to give into the governor's strong arm tactics Here is Republican state senator Kelly stargel who was on the floor speaking about this last week These are constitutional maps I think they're very thoughtful I don't think any of us who vote for them today are racist or following the direct will of the governor But Republican lawmakers know that this is setting the table for a long and expensive series of lawsuits and put aside $1 million to start paying for this litigation And how are they responding Just when asked about these charges that these maps according to Democrats and others violate federal and state protections for minority voters Well the saddest claims that times have changed and that discrimination against black people at the polls is no longer the problem that it once was He gets some support for his position from federal court rulings in recent years that have weakened the federal Voting Rights Act But it's a controversial stance of course I asked Cecile schoon about that She's a black civil rights attorney in the head of Florida's league of women voters That's one of the groups that's challenging the new maps She cited a recent decision by federal judge Mark walker He struck down new voting restrictions and found that there had been part of a pattern here in Florida Judge walker literally found that the Republican Party for the last 20 years has intentionally discriminated against African American voters The judge ordered that because of this past pattern Florida would have to get quarter approval for any new voting laws for the next ten years here in Florida And then that order has been appealed It's been appealed All right well so I was going to ask what's next We just have about 30 seconds but could a court overturn all this order new maps Well that's what the voting rights groups are hoping for with this lawsuit but the clock's ticking we have a mid June filing deadline for Congress here in Florida The lawsuit was filed in state court It will eventually be heard by the state Supreme Court It could then be appealed to the federal courts and could make its way to the U.S. Supreme Court and in another case recently the Supreme Court said that a map being challenged in Alabama would be used in this election because drawing new ones would cause chaos and confusion That is and piers Greg Allen in Miami Thank you Greg You're welcome For the you pick ending up people of Alaska a spelling bee is more than a friendly competition As Alaska public media is Katie and asked his reports spelling bees are a way for kids to connect to their culture and make sure native languages live on At this year's yupik and a Newbie act spelling bees 16 students from all over Alaska took the stage Frida Dan organized the ubi competition She also served as a judge who read aloud the words and gave students the definition He is sweeping it He is sweeping it That's megyn Karl getting it right Dan says the spelling bee lets students read and write in a language they might only speak or hear spoken by elders This might be the only time they'll never get to learn how to spell Maybe afterward it never happens ever again So this is a really big opportunity Dan set up the first group expelling B ten years ago She came up with a list of words and created study guides for coaches and students around the state Feels like they're reaching for their reaching to have this say take it upon themselves to do this And that's what keeps me going here Feeling the enthusiasm of the spellers More recently she worked with volunteers to set up in a Newbie act spelling bee Spectators weren't allowed last year's competition because of COVID And only one school signed up to participate in the inupiat bee last year But for Dan that was okay The pandemic made me realize that it was really okay just to have one schooling because their effort was so inspiring and there were so brave the winner of this year's yupik competition was 7th grader Elena canoe I'm a big shot And I was just a little bit scared But mostly confident there was one word she found really difficult to spell It means sock and it spelled C U K IQ I just forgot when you The inupiat spelling bee winner was 5th grader Caitlin alston Suzuki Mary Huntington coordinated that competition She says promoting literacy in native languages is vital Almost any place in our language learning journey of second language learners of our heritage languages Have so many structures built in that shut us down and make us feel inferior and incapable The spelling bee she says is a place where students can make mistakes ask questions and take pride in their culture Any opportunity to eliminate the judgment and the inadequacy factors they're not just helpful They're 100% needed This year's participants are part of a new generation making.

"And try to radio a he is her currently and I'm Gary McNamara 8 6 6 90 red eye So yeah just to important to bring up that Bill because again it's something that is completely and totally exaggerated by the media out there the Florida And you're not going to win it you know the thing is is that the one thing that in this mislabeling of the bill By the activists in the media and on the left You know don't say gay The one thing they didn't approach was the parents And the reason is they know They know they wanted this to be on you know governor desantis They want to they're looking to do everything they can to scandalize him Which is a given That's fine I mean that's what they do And he's fully prepared at every turn especially and including on this But it is the one thing that they don't do is and they know it's a loser Is going after the parents The parents who back this the parents who wanted this and the parents who more and more calling from more and more control of what their kids are hearing and experiencing in public schools And that is a good thing It's a greater level of parental involvement and awareness is always Always a positive And when they take action if you believe for a minute you're going to scandalize them and get away with it You're wrong.

"Governor desantis condemns Biden administration's haphazard decision to revoke authorization of lifesaving monoclonal antibody treatments. Governor Ron DeSantis is demanding that the Biden administration reversed its sudden and reckless decision to revoke emergency use authorization. For Regeneron, an Eli Lilly monoclonal antibody treatments. This abrupt and unilateral action by the Biden regime will prevent access to lifesaving treatments for floridians and Americans. The story is this FDA restricts use of two monoclonal antibody treatments. I know people's lives who are saved by monoclonal antibodies. Now, their argument is like, well, it's not working that well against all Macron. Well, if not working that well as the standard for revoking, emergency use authorization, then maybe you should pull some EUA permits for vaccines. Not working that well. First of all, there's no clinical data to support that. Second of all, there is massive momentum amongst doctors action on the front lines of how monoclonal antibodies help condition the response and help with Regeneron regenerating white blood cell treatment and they are lifesaving in some cases. Not all the antibodies are effective. It doesn't work all the time, which is why you need to throw the kitchen sink at it. With all the other treatments, but now the federal government is coming out and they're saying nope, not happening. You are not allowed to use monoclonal antibodies. We are going to get in the way of what doctors are able to do with their patients. Now, we've already used all the words on this show. We know that Joe Biden has no concern whatsoever for the mounting deaths preventable deaths of people that have died from COVID-19 isn't care about the 100,000 plus overdose deaths. But what does he care about then? What is the explanation for this? Well, the FDA justification is they say, well, it's unlikely to be active against the Alma cron variant. Oh, unlikely. Not that it doesn't work, not that they have clinical data to show that monoclonal antibodies are doing harm. No, just that it's

"Annum. Kim singer is the most obnoxious republican in the entire congress. And that's saying something. He was one of ten republicans who voted to impeach president trump. In the second impeachment he was one of only republicans in the entire house to vote to create a select committee to investigate the january sixth protests. He's the one who bald and put on the the Presumably emmy award winning show recently where he cried about january sixth. I do not like the guy. And i'm hoping to do something about it and that's why we're talking to jack lombardi. Who's running against him. Jack lombardi welcome to the show. Sir thank you sir. Thank you for having me on and thank you to your listeners. Appreciate all of you. I think you stole my material. And no no. Because let's let's start with this before we get to kim singer. And what a bad guy he is. Let's talk about you and why you want to do this. It's a big deal to run for office. You have to put your life on. Hold your family and everybody else has to make a lot of sacrifices. Let's start with who you are and why you're running. Well it it is true. Okay what you said is absolutely true. Who i am. I'm a chicago native. My mom's from the south though so she's very happy. Then i'm on a texas radio we I spent time in texas city. Texas ingles side corpus christi. That's most of my childhood My grandmother lived down in corpus christi. So we spent on there with her and You know water burger anytime. i'm in texas. i definitely stopped to get a wider burger and Yeah definitely know that. His w up here and w down there. So why am i running. I you know let's be honest. What are we doing to our children to our grandchildren. Look what's happening. This is it's generational theft of what's happening. I mean the democrats are unhinged. They're spending money. You know the running the bill up on purpose. They know they're doing they know what they're doing You got someone like adam. Kim singer who voted to impeach president trump. Who is possibly the most patriotic president. This country's ever known and that's just wrong. I mean it's just wrong. And he's not representing the people sixteen district. That's not how they believe. Now let me tell you. Texas folks a little fact about illinois. We are red state. We are a very red state. We just have one county. And some of the collar counties that bolt blue not because those people are bad people. They just spend indoctrinated with you. Know the leftist ideas for very long and many of the union members vote read but their unions. Tom the vote blue. Because that's where the money's coming from for these you know projects that they have. But we're actually a red state it's a little known Unknown fact that that other other states don't know about illinois. But you know what's interesting. Jack i see this in new york. We're on an upstate. New york and a lot of people in new york are conservative. God fearing country serving flag-waving people but they can't overcome the boroughs the big new york city. I look at oregon. Where you've got to oregon's it's like a donut. In the hole in the middle is portland and and that county multnomah county is is sort of up against the rest of the state that our farmers in in lumber guys and and good solid folks. You see this in so many places where you've just got that big city and i know that that's what happens in in illinois as well talk a bit the sixteenth congressional district. Kim singers been in there since i guess two thousand ten. Talk a little bit about the demographics where this is what the people like you know. It's rural america. it's texas just you know it's flat just not as hot. It's rural america. It's just good people. God fearing people just wanna go to work. Get their paycheck and be left alone and enjoy family. You know on the weekend i mean. Mid westerners we all share the same family values. we share Table top economics. I mean that's the type of people these are other not fancy people They're just could good honest people that i mean. That's the best way. I could describe the sixteen district of illinois. The sixteenth district runs like backwards. J. around the collar counties of of shadowland k. And it goes all the way up from rock for you know which is You know small city in illinois all the way loops around to indiana in goes out the central illinois. yea it makes that loop These are farm these farm town. Small town usa Everyone knows everyone's business. There's you know they all go to the same church That's that's the best way. I could describe it. I'm good hard working american folk. I'm looking at kim singers numbers. And this guy's gotta go. He happens to be a republican. But he's a liz cheney republican so in two thousand twelve he wins sixty two percents of the district in the general election. In fourteen he wins seventy one in sixteen. He wins ninety nine in eighteen. He wins sixty in twenty. He wins sixty five percent. So you need this. This is a district. That's been carried by the republican. Every year in november except for two thousand eight when obama barely beat mccain. So you got to win the primary. How do you convince republican primary voters in the sixteenth. That we're going to toss out a republican which voter everybody wants term limits. But they keep they keep voting for their. They've been voting for this guy for a while. How do you beat him in the republican primary. Because that's what you gotta win it's real. You're right that is the race. And that's you know that's what i tell you. Know potential donors. It's not people. Try to stay out of the primary so no this is the race because there's really no democrat involved. It is really oppose any threat right. So is the race you to be honest with you. They most of the county's essentially him. They don't want him anymore. They've the see him from what he is. And now you know. He voted like a liberal the beginning then he votes in line with president trump ninety nine percent one hundred fifteen then. He voted like ninety was ninety percent. One hundred sixteen in some change. Don't quote me on that. And then all of a sudden he turns his back. I mean my tweet. Today was if it wasn't for bad character and him kim zinger would have no character. I mean stay who you are. Stay who you are fundamentally. But he's a typical politician a career politician. And yeah i mean this is why so many americans. I think it's eighty three percent of americans support term limits because they identified this. They see that what these people do. I call him say anything democrat even though he supposedly republican. I don't see it but you don't. That's why i call them. I call them a say anything. You know political Lifer tha- that's what he is. He'll say whatever he has to say to get voted he's he's come back here now he's been going around trying to test you know areas to see if he has any You know support and there are some areas he actually does because some of the voters You know they they don't. He's.

"I despise barack obama. This man has spent his entire life trashing america and look how well he's lived look how much money he's made doing it. This is a guy who's good for nothing. Dad in kenya knocks up his mother and then has nothing to do with raising the child so his dad is a complete third and as often happens barack obama spends his entire life seeking out his good for nothing layabout communist. Dad's attention so that already you. You learn a lot about people. This is a guy who wrote books about his daddy who never loved him and his desperate craving for his daddy's love and as a result he takes up a hatred for everything about america when america was nothing but good to him. You know our younger viewers are younger. Listeners may not know but barack obama's good for nothin' communist daddy was part of a group that were engaged in what is known as the alma rebellion in kenya. These are people who beat and encases killed the british. Who were there. These were violent people and his dad is known to have engaged in this violence toward the english who were in africa. This is a guy who desperately wanted to be something. His daddy would be proud of a white hater even though his own mother is white. This is a guy who talked about his own. Grandmother locking the doors when she pulled up to the red light when someone black across the street the same grandmother that when he was dumped by his mother and his father who was never around the same grandmother who sent him to punahou one of the most exclusive schools in the world. It's the most expensive private school in hawaii and there's a lot of money in hawaii. Punahou is extraordinarily exclusive and expensive and his grandmother and grandfather sent him there. And what does he do talks about her being a racist. How about this. You think barack obama would walk the streets of harlem without a security detail and if not why not does that make him a racist would he walked the streets of detroit. If he wasn't famous would he or his daughter just walked through any street in detroit or atlanta or chicago. I hope not because they'd get killed. And i don't wish that forum so barack obama turn sixty years old and the media couldn't wait. Oh they were so excited barracks having a party. Who will be there. Kristie teagan john legend. Don don cheadle be there. John stewart all hold. The luminaries of left will be there. It's going to be the greatest party ever well in the middle of all this frothing up. Oh house obama. Going to have such a big party when i thought these were super spreader events over scaling back. Well they didn't scale it back at his fourteen million dollar mansion coastal property. They had over a thousand people. The money they spent on the tents alone is more than your house cost and that's how he lives because he's famous and rich for hating this country that's made him so rich. And so what happens when a white house correspondent for the new york. Times is on jim acosta. Show on cnn and is asked about the fact that they didn't wear masks and you know what they didn't wear masks. Erica abihu took a video of barack obama hugging people in the crowd. He's not wearing a mask. They're not wearing a mask she. She's not wearing a mask and she was made to put that to delete that. The dj at the event posted video. He's excited he's it's former president. He's he's the dj of the event. They made him pull the video down. Because we can't have the commoner's know how the elite are partying. So what does the white house correspondent for the new york times. Does she say that was really reckless. Does she stay consistent with the new york times. Message that you know. The corona virus is going to kill us all. Oh no no no no. This is a sophisticated vaccinated crowd. Listen to this other. People said you know. This is really being over blonde hair quality. All the safety precautions people are going to sporting events that are bigger than this. This is going to be safe. This is a sophisticated vaccinated crowd. And and this is just about optics. It's not about safety. Alright any carney. Thanks so much. We'll see how it plays out. What do you mean size plays out. How's it playing out. Barack obama had his party. He had all the fun while the rest of us have buried our loved ones on zoom call while the ladies and little old men sat alone in a hospital bed where we were not allowed to go and be there and hold their hand as they left this earth. What do you mean. we'll see how it plays out. Barack obama can do whatever the hell he wants and no one's even going to criticize. They're gonna tell us that. His crowd is sophisticated vaccinated. So it's okay but the rest of you you're not sophisticated and even if you are vaccinated. You're not sophisticated. You have to wear a mask. And so how about dr chee fao. She is on your mind you last weekend lollapalooza in chicago over one hundred thousand people in chicago. The mayor came out. Beetlejuice came out and spoke at the event fao. She didn't have a problem with over one hundred thousand people at that event. But if you went to sturgis oh then you're a super spreader listened to him. We brought up regionally the south but out in the planes and the great plains. We have started. South dakota is going to be. There's a gathering right now of some seven hundred thousand people last year. It was a smaller turnout and it was over about one hundred and fifty thousand people and it led to a massive outbreak in the dakotas where they became number one and number two For essentially the rest of the calendar year of cases. What do you expect this rally to do to that part of the country well. I'm very concerned chuck that we're going to see another surge related to that rally. I mean to me. It's it's it's. It's understandable that people want to do the kinds of things they wanna do. They want their freedom to do that. But there comes a time when you're dealing with a public health crisis that could involve you your family and everyone else. That's something supersedes. That need to do exactly what she wanted to do. I mean you're going to ultimately be able to do that in the future but let's get this pandemic under control before we start acting like nothing is going on. I mean something bad is going on..

You don't him hall you go right at them right. Adam perfect here is joe biden saying that three hundred fifty million. Americans got the vaccine. You you mean. More than every american listen to this of the unvaccinated script to get more people vaccinated. I said well over the number again. I'd remind of three hundred. Fifty million americans have already been vaccinate. They're doing fine. I'm pleased to report past week. We've seen the that the i mean. What what are we doing here. What are we doing it. It's it's to the point now that everyone knows the man's brain is pudding. It's moosh the man's brain is mush and guess what the chinese no it the russians know it. What's going on in our border. You heard governor to scientists. Say that the president's not focused on the border it is now over one million illegal aliens who've come into the country this year alone over one million illegal aliens have come into the country this year alone. That would make that number of people if you put them in one city that city would have gone from zero residents to over one million which would make it the tenth largest city in the country new york. Is i at eight. And a half million l. a. at four million chicago at two point seven million houston two point three million philly at one point six million phoenix at one point. Five million san antonio at one point five million San diego one point four million dallas one point three million san jose one million twenty six. There are more people who've come into this country illegally this year than the tenth largest city in the country. Austin is eleventh at nine thirty one. It is bigger than austin then. Jacksonville samphran indie columbus fort worth charlotte seattle denver el paso detroit washington. Boston memphis nashville is at twenty five. How many people have come into this country illegally. Oh as many as tucson arizona and sacramento combined as many as atlanta and kansas city combined as many as milwaukee and raleigh north carolina combined. I mean these are very very disturbing numbers. But that's the raw data. Let's factory and a few other things of these illegal aliens. We know that there are over a megan novel. We know that nineteen people took down the twin towers and hit the pentagon and did all the nine eleven damage night teen people. What if oh. I don't know ninety of the more than a million this year are terrorists. How many of them are terrorists. We know that some are how many of them are child traffickers. How many of them are being trafficked by opening the border. You're inducing them to come. We know that in guatemala and el salvador. they're preparing their twelve year old daughters with condoms in their backpack in hopes that when they get raped in hopefully the rapist will wear a condom. Because they know they're being raped. How many are drug traffickers. We had more drug overdoses last year than we've ever had in american history and the largest increase year over year. How many of these folks are drug traffickers. Many of them are coming here as mules. How many of them are coming here to carry that out. How many of them are hitmen. Contract killers how many of them are part of a criminal syndicate and the cartels are sending them here because they're footsoldiers in their in their wars. How many of them are coming here to engage in violent crime and are willing to do. So how many of them are fleeing like the mario's boatlift out of cuba. How many of them are fleeing criminal prosecution. In the triangle countries. They come from how many of them are not from honduras. Guatemala or salvador or mexico. How many of them are from afghanistan. How many of them are isis members. We don't know because we're not stopping them. We're gonna find out when they rape your daughter when they bust through your door when they shoot and kill you when they blow up the building you work at when they blow up the church that you work at when they shoot up the military base. That's win we're gonna find out what we're dealing with. And this is all joe biden and the democrats fault we have an update on the texas democrats.
