"Stormy waters approaching children. Dot com 0% commission, if you sign up right now. Right. Then final race to paint the picture of on day one, the three mile 6 furlong, not quite four miler amateur riders race. Yeah, last night, the news I've been at class one level at online winners were rated one three 9 plus and were either top rate on official orients or no more than 12 pounds below the top rate, zero for 76 or any horse that didn't fit that won't chop out 2 million this year about the bottom ones in the bed and it will chop out gala Dumas. Like a pronunciation that I would do, quite frankly. Yeah, I think this is a scottishness my mouth just doesn't move as well for a French name. So by Duncan Ferguson. Sorry, I saw him say some French word on Twitter yesterday. And so Gerard doom as Neil. Best forstner race by a comfortable margin official rains. Are we in person however in the short is evens? I generally take sire positive negatives as more of a pointer these days than he can't win because of the start or he's definitely going to win because of the start. In fairness, you don't want to start. It's black and white is that a guide. But there's a negative. So I have been aware of for quite a while and it does apply the KR dimensional here. And let's say our angle being offspring of some and class one races at Shelton. Return figures of three runners from a 108 runners, 3% strike rate and loss of over 87 points and it runs 77% below expectation. Gala do most new as a Sonos on this one is an octagon. You can't win the race. Not all but I like to try and find something else. Allows me to play again short for his face. And I'll start off to make me not bike him a very tight odds and Luke house. So if you win this fair play, I'm not always asleep about an even shot. My arm happy to look elsewhere and chemical energy is one of our ion. I thought it would be better for us as we went. We're winning at October channel meal. She appreciates Mars and trip for the first time. Growing probably one again, so much like it needs soft. So that's clearly a potential what I hear. That's one of those, I'm going to have to see what the ground actually is come Tuesday. But Gordon Elliott, he's one of the three four times for all of us when I was finished third or worse on our final start before winning this. So I'm not concerned about his last run. Finish out the places. I think Elliot will have them tuned up for this thing, Jimmy cod, clearly a good king of the ground, it's a niggle. I would have preferred better grind. And if I'm honest, I'm half geared in a win at the odds. I want to take them on. I'm still going to find something confidently to take them on with. So he's a horse I like an awful lot. I think the ground has gone against him. That's what we were talking about the last time you were on Paul last week when we were doing the novice chasers that if there's good in the description he's a bet, if there isn't, then he just isn't. And I think that's going to backfire on him. For all that I like the worse and all the loss. Now that we have the field and a decent idea of what the going is going to be, who is your selection poll? Yeah, and also more processable elimination and the favor it's quite hard to get away from now. You say, as we talked about last week again, I was in the camp of chemical energy, but I think he wants genuine legal ground. So

"Why there is this insistence on 7 days a week of racing because I remember zero Sundays, except for the 1000 guineas. No Sunday racing in the UK. I remember that. Bringing racing into Easter when it's, you know, that's a time off for stable stuff. There's no wonder that the people who love racing. And are not paid very well, a stable staff are leaving the game. Because they're looking at it and they're saying, and this is actually based on the fact I can't say where this comes from. But I know of trainers in the UK and in Ireland who have lost staff to the trade industry. They've literally left racing, the sport that they love to go work in a hotel or go work in a bar because they'll be better paid and better looked after their and they don't have to work the intense hours that they do. So some of the stable stuff at Gordon Elliott's were telling me that if they have a big winner in the weekend, they get Monday off. And obviously enjoy that. But they don't have to work the intense hours that you do at a big stable in the UK. Where it's just constant racing. And also, while they might say, oh, the horse population is going up. What about quality? The quality is far more important than quantity. And you can't have a Ukraine appeal, novices chase, which is a very important race at cheltenham, where there's no English runner. This Welsh and Irish runners, and that's it. And the Turner's novice chase, where it's 4Runner's and the role from Ireland. That's embarrassing. That's a complete embarrassment, particularly when and I love cheltenham, but chop them are intent on this 5 day meeting. They're just, they're ignoring everything that's been said by their members. They want 5 days and it just seems as though it's greed across the board. More and more, more, more and more. When actually, sometimes less is more. Yeah, and I think that's the problem with regard to financial financial strains. It's a temptation to take the quick buck, isn't it? And everyone knows, obviously, that is the ultimate quickbook, isn't it? A 5th day at the festival. But those two races really did illustrate it. And it's awful to say for the short term pain, but almost when you're seeing when you're seeing the few English owners, I mean like to chiefly park, obviously massively having all their jumpers and Ireland and having huge,.

"I'd have a bet as well. It's not conducive, I don't think. But that is my opinion. So I'm not saying that I'm right, but I think, but again, it's something that's never been really slow. Well, I'd never taken I don't feel it's never been taken on board, but that's okay. Well, I was asked on talk sport recently, why are Irish horses so successful at Sheldon? And the grand national, for example, a ten of the first 11 home last year. The first 5 home. And I said, because we have better horses, we have a better racing program. We don't force our horses to run 7 days a week. Not that every horse has to return at 7 days a week. And therefore, there is a staffing crisis in Ireland, the same as there is in the UK. Of course, there is. And to say that the reason this folly, there is also a prize money crisis in harland. There seems to be a denial about that, but it's very much there. But our program almost forces top trainers like Willie Mullins and Gordon Elliott and Henry de bromhead to face off. They have to meet you can't just dock one another. You can find ways around it, but you do eventually have to have to face head on. That's why Irish racing is thriving. It's also thriving because of the success of Willy and Gordon and Henry Jessica, Joseph O'Brien, obviously Aiden. And owners who are based in the UK are looking at this and going, well, I'd rather have my horses training in Ireland. I can still watch, I can either fly over, it'll take me an hour or I can just watch it on racing TV. And see how my horse gets on. And I can't understand.

"Currently is as good in the description. And that's what's important for her. She needs, she needs good going. But pop quiz Roy de largy. How many winners as Gordon Elliott trained in the No idea. While guests off the top of your head. Four, zero. Zero from 36. Now, he's had horses run very well at Shelton. He's had two cheltenham winners. You know what, he didn't have that many or just run well at Trump. He thought he was going to be in for the week of all weeks at Chapman. Yeah, it didn't come to plan. And it's entirely possible that the horses who have been running since just like with the greatest of respect, they're not of the highest standard. But some of them have been beaten 18, 7 links, 14 links, 15 links. So the point of a all about Sunday is to learn more about and to be involved in race social ownership is to be involved in enjoying the experience of owning a racehorse. Enjoying the experience of being there on race day or watching it on racing TV. Getting to be up close and personal with the likes of Jack Kennedy, Dennis Oregon, Gordon, days out at stables, which is going to come up with.

It's one of those things. You think it would be a good thing to do, but I reckon if you arrange to have schooling hurdles here or racecourse counterparts that were essentially schooling bumpers. I wonder how many registers are going to get involved in it. Hands shooting from the hip, isn't she? Oh yeah. And I love it. She is firing out opinions left right center. It creates to be it. I quite like to see it, but I think I'm not entirely sure she has she's given every one of these ideas all the thoughts that it might get. She's never given me the impression that she's just out there to say something controversial to get her name out there. She's Henry as a nice, everybody knows her. I think this is something that she's genuinely looking at in the context of, look, Ireland do this, and it's very successful for them. Not every trainer does it, but Willie Mullins, Aiden O'Brien, Gordon Elliott, Joseph O'Brien famously, Jane mangan happened to say it just before, I think she said it here on the final furlong actually, and she said it just before they loaded. "Or two of the outsiders crack on early and then have them one of the glory and I think he will come to the end of the major player. I'm not anti hill crest at all. I think he'll cross a lot of people who actually should be competitive here. He did have a pretty tough race in the prestige of hater glow. That would be a slight concern for me. Although in saying that I remember having the same discussion with people about whether in D.C. breeze could come through a real slog and not rest to win this a few years, there was a massive fan of the D.C. three's real estate what happened to him. And he was absolutely fine and completely different growing and he made all the running when he won this race. So I'm not one of those who says that you can't be back in hill best because he's one too close to the festival and you're trying to be Brian's very testing. Last night. I'm not looking for halls and him at all. I think he's a smashing horse. I think he's been in danger of the Ginger. I just been beaten down a little bit for him to run in this race and over the doors. It would be rude of me not to select him. So that's where I am. To quote Gordon Elliott, if he's good enough, if we think he's good enough to win the ballet more, then he should win the Alba part. So given the reason that he may have had a tough experience at hey Doc, I've completely switched to gentle. And in hindsight, it might be a difficult task to beat cigarette. In the belly more, so I think this is probably the right race for him and it clicks and makes sense. I will throw one in a wild price. Eric bloodaxe has been completely discarded. "For your festival there. Oh, is he 66? Sorry like that. It was a big price. There are other. It wasn't 66 on the SP. 33s? 33s. It was certainly 33s in the run up to the nest. And I got the job done, having run a cracker. In the golden Miller, to get its formal title. The previous year. Yeah, some optically worried about ruling in with Alan King there. The other ones I like that I didn't mention last time we sort of touched on this race because I put them up with the Kim mirrors, is prom parity. So I think I mentioned I need to mention about these are not in the community or anymore. And it may well be that Gordon doesn't want to run him here either, but I thought I thought he had a really good-looking profile for a handicap chair to the festival from R&D. Again, it's form figures don't absolutely has a wonderful effect as yet. He was a former on chess debut at time royal. In what looked a pretty good beginner's chess, he was, he was traveling well. When he was second or third last fancy, he tried at odds on the run. He then didn't cope with the test and to drive more. They went very hard that day. He made mistakes. And some ended up pulling up. It was hampered as well. He's wrong well in all three stars since the week we placed twice as very high and then last time it was second Gordon but the best performance he put up, the really eye catching work was when he dead he says for a second in a beginner's chess at very highest behind Fluor and dead heating with frontal assault that day I thought his job was a lot better than I need to join on the line for a second by Frank only been half a length by the winner and there were several of the guards more who won the next timeline as well. I thought that was good for him. I thought it was a perfect plan for the team newer to be perfectly honest. I think he will stay that trip, but his form thus far is it two and a half miles with those make sense for him to be running here. And again, he's a strong traveler who's totally travels close to the pace and doesn't always he's treated all zone in four of his financial starts. Without actually getting his head in front. And he can take that as a negative line for me. It's a sign that he hasn't quite put it all together, but he's shown. Flashes of promise because they've been pretty obvious, pretty obvious promise and all those runs and I think he's more than capable of having one four 5. I think he will be suited by the way this race is wrong. As I said, I would have been perfectly happy to go with him in the Kimura. But as this race he ends up in and I think he's a player as well. Again, the plan is not the strongest hand capture as you will see. And there aren't that many trainers who start the season with a good quality two and a half years. So thinking, I will lay this out for the players. Especially as there's so many good prizes, our childhood in the early part of the season. So you don't tend to have horses laid out for this the way you do other handicaps at the festival. And as a result, it's maybe not the strongest. You just need to do everything right. You've got to have the right kind of run style and you've got to jump well on the day, give yourself a chance. And I think that's what I'm trying to do with it. He also has a number of things going for him in that he has had a run in the calendar year for that matter. He has not run at the cheltenham festival previously. And obviously he said less than 12 chase starts. So he's hitting an old lot of trends. So the likes of norville will be going absolutely belus about that and he's very interesting to me as well. Grandpa already for Gordon Elliott, who we know as a man on a mission this year. Imagine being told before the authorities in Ireland have said anything. You're not welcome a cheltenham. That's a man who's going to want to make a statement. The mayor's novice's hurdle or to give it its full title. He run air, mares novices hurdle. I saw a tip today, I kid you not for allegory devassy. Really? Who is? Out for the season. And it was like a 5 star bet. It wasn't quite 5 stars, but it was along those lines. It was like, have you been what? The hell is going on? Anyway,.

"And remember galvin had won his race of children and then that was it. He was done until the national launch chase. So it's becoming a tried and tested route for him. So, volcano has to be of interest, but Tony Beck is very much up there. And just on Gordon and jockey bookings, Jamie Carter's going to ride, run wild Fred, which is music, of course, to the years of Roy de largy, having put him up at 6 to one. And also we're all going, wait. Jamie, he's on run wild. For the only reason. What? So there's that. And David Russell is going to ride a Vasari by clicking the juvenile in the boodles. So yeah, jockey booking is going to be crucial. How are you approaching this? Is it just a case of similar line of thinking? Follow Gordon Elliott in, given the fact that he's a man on a mission, running a horse called the tide turns, who is now second favorite for the boodles. Or are you approaching this from a different angle? Yeah, yeah, listen. You first put a call in all the handicaps should be delivered to the audience runners. That's a bit of a bit of a no brainer in a particularly those over hurdles and particularly those who have had a limited number of runs to get on the count market. And on top of that, horses have run and created races. So I very much respect the chances of signed up early here, but we know what he is. And he will have one of the camera on board by all kinds. I also quite like Tony bag of Gordon, who's going to get in the quicker the grind the better for him. I thought he caught the eye here already in the season of this qualifier. On good firm grind. Behind Kansas City chief. He's been left alone since the form of his win at gorham prime standards, which I'm pretty well. So he'd be shortlisted. But I did find myself liking a couple of British strange voices and that's clearly something I need to get treatment for. But in fairness, if you go back 6 or 7 years, you two find that this has gone to the British trainer in the past. It's been had Kelly pat Kelly Gordon Elliott golden Elliott go down here. Oh no, and for recent years and maybe that sound is going to continue. But I thought it was very interesting that they were type engine remastered from this and nothing else that the festival is on a competitive manner based on his old hurdles while he was placed. Behind a. Grid two horse really on his last start overheard us before the season. And you talked to during the day after the childhood festival. And he's since gone on to prove himself a better chance, but he's back on his totals month for this, which is one three three. He was only beaten just over a length of the entry in November. Behind koshary, and it wasn't that he was getting a prep in for the lamp of trophy. So I thought there was a very good run. I thought he's liable to build on it. It is a kind of watch at the middle bit of appeal at 25 to one or bigger. I'm not sure he's, he comes from a yarn who's won this race before with horses who've been over fences and then reverted to hurdles by the same horse twice when a vista. Yeah. Winning this race seems to be a very good two miles sheet so I'll be enough before reverting to hurdles and I'm winning this risk back to back. So it's a very different water remaster. To Buena Vista, but I respected it when this kind of race. I thought it was an interesting move to move away from fences. I stick them in this race. So I included them in multiples that are at a big price. I would certainly give Alaphilippe chances. He's towards the head of the market, but he's been quite well campaigned. Fergie LeBron had the pretty much the favor for this last year on imperial arm casar, who won the war in qualifier. And then was all the rage for this afterwards. I really fancy this chances that you're on a stinker. Alaphilippe comes through the same race, but didn't make the mistake of having him spot on for the war qualifying. And each ship had the best portion of the day. But just short of a run, he came to the last hurdle to me was going to win and then he was a bit weak on the run in with patty Brennan being less than hard on him. It has to be said. And interesting with the handicap was dropped in two points for that. He was a very respectable face over course and distance in the other branch of last year. So although there was a clever bit of trading from verbal brand, very un British to give the horse one run, which gets them to qualify and also get them going to handicap. So he's on a decent Mark colorfully. And I'd have him on the long short list. And I know that might have mentioned him as well, but I did a preview of the night and I said, you know, the point was made that the leopards don't qualify our shows up. The winner of this on a very regular basis. And most of those who are in this race who qualified from not a quite short prices, except for Turin regiment. It was a big price when I looked at these 25 to one. Now he's number 31 on the list. He's not guaranteed to get in, but he does sneak in. He's very interested because it's between my two finning and not a big name. The market has a really spoken form. Here's another pedigree for this particularly. But he did absolutely nothing wrong when he was third off of an Irish man with one, two, two and a ten qualifying. And although he was well beaten in the I'd love a can, but plans to treat one handicap..

"It doesn't, but there is a thing about what's changed this year. And normally what we're doing is we're looking at how much the Irish horses have gone up. But actually this time because of that BHA change of policy, I've looked at how much the British horses have gone down. And that's something I think punters need to factor in. And before you do that, you just need to recap on the big difference between recent results in the handicap hurdles compared to the handicapped chases. There are a chance of dominating the handicap hurdles winning 19 of the 25 last 5 festivals all 5 last year. By contrast, British stables are already doing well at handicap chases. Before we share two each between British and Irish yards last year, the score in the four handicap chases that remain is 12 8 to Britain in the last 5 years, which given the proportionate representation suggests a pretty level playing field. So what I did was to look at how the British horses are treated compared to their first run this season. And overall, for the chasers, it's pretty similar to last year. But for the hurdles, there's a big difference. 47% of the entries are off a lower Mark than they first raced off this season compared to 34% last year. 33% have been dropped three pounds or more, just 21% last year. And a proportion drops hugely ten pounds or more. It's gone up from 1% to 6%. So the British heard those needs some serious help, but they are getting a decent bit. If you take the average rise or drop compared to last season, they're about 1.9 pounds better off at this year's festival. And then when you add in the Irish hurdlers, are getting an average of 4.9 pounds higher than a domestic mark compared to 3.9 pounds last year. You could argue the British herders have about a three pound swing from last year. In the chase is said the British horses are not dissimilar, but the Irish horses are on average four pound higher than their domestic marks. They were only 2.3 pounds higher last year. So that's a big difference. The British faces about another .3 pounds better off. So you could argue they theoretically got about a two pound swing against the Irish handicap chases compared to last year. And given that the British courses were already doing pretty well, then you can imagine that might give them a chance of winning quite a few of the four handicap chases. Yeah. And that's an intriguing one to try and digest as well. Let's kick off with the ultimate death Judy and does he know had the betting? So Gordon Elliott's statute. What does he know? Who does have the option of going for the former, but it looks increasingly likely to me that Kim Bailey wants to go here instead. Take that with a pinch of salt if you will. They're both 7 to one. Currently with galoot key, then frontal assault who goes to the Kimura is 9s, noble yeats, tens, imperial arches are, with colloquial 12s, the shunter picked up by JP, so one for the good guys. 12, 300 through 5 should be going for the Brown advisory we believe. Unless Paul can get a word in the ear of the macneil family, but they seem to be pretty pretty set on going for the great one. Fantastic as 12s floor is after being cut into 9s, all of a sudden. And another couple of Irish horses in there as well, but we should mention Frodo, who got a surprise entry. After a fine run and down royal at the start of the season, when he wins, with the form of that working out quite well, galvan comes out and goes and wins the Christmas time, but he was beaten 21 links when defending his king George crown, and then a further 21 links from Paul Nichols sources were badly out of form. Nichols horses have turned the corner and he is a very high class horse. So. Say again? It's crucial here because of the shape of the handicap. Exactly. He's got a mark of one 6 four to put that in context, the highest market in any of the other 8 handicapped one 5 6. So you potentially got a completely different puzzle to solve here. So what is your take on Frodo lining up here carrying 11 stone 12 of a mark of one 6 four in traditionally you'd be looking at horses raced between one four two one four 8 with the new rules and with the new changes is fraud on just going to have too much for them or is he going to set it up for something like a novice to come through like does he know, for example? So the last horse to run off the bark in the 160s in this was Fox chapel came 19 years ago. So it's very unusual and it's not weight for say that matters. It's your mark compared to everyone else's. And what he would do is he would keep 25 of the other 80 out of the handicap, if he runs. So I think we'll come on to this when we come on to your fancy in a minute. But I'm the world fancy choices like come on teddy and our power will be out for the handicap. If he doesn't run, if you're a very economist, he's going to run you off a 160. I write going to the gold cup. So the top boy comes down to one 5 5 and then you've got a completely different handicap. And that's particularly relevant this year because of the cuts. And the entries are significantly lower. Than they have been in a lot of the chases in particular. So there are only 82 entries in this. They're normally about a hundred. And the way I look at this is rather than focusing too much on the actual mark where the cut comes. That is relevant. It's to look up what number in the original weights it comes, because if the average marks go up and down, that should remain relatively constant. And consider there are 82 entries, only once in recent years, and that's 2019 has the cut come above. Number 82, then it was number 71. So I think it's odds on that I won't get a full feel for this. They didn't last year that was COVID. They didn't in 2018 either. But if you go back a bit further, you didn't used to get a full feel for this most years. So I think a lot of the ones down the bottom will get a run. The question is whether they're going to get around from the correct Mark..

"Type of guy that got the results because he was so good at what he wanted to do. And for Sunday, you know, going into the UK, that's exactly what our owners want. They want winners, of course, but I think they also want the experience through the app and the content and these type of things that I'm talking about to be shared with them in terms of their own horse. So they get that they get the full backstory way, diet, nutrition, supplements, hydration, all of that type of thing. Everything down to the bedding that you know that your horse is particularly comfortable. And it's getting that detailed for trainers now today because it's so, so competitive. That they've got to find their edge through their horsemanship. And then their campaigning of their horses. And when I was with him, he was going through declarations and he was thinking it was declaring three three of the horses. And he just explained to me why he declared those three and he didn't declare two other ones. And it's all about our job in some ways is to put your horse in the best hands and we have from what I would argue two people that are in Gordon and Donald that are absolutely on top of their game, but for different reasons. The horse is actually looked different. If I was to pick out a footballer for Gordon Elliott horses, who's your man who went from wolves to Barcelona. What's his name? Was the Barcelona? I thought you were going to say, well, it's the Liverpool and Diego Jada. No. Was it wolves? He's the real strong kind of mostly center forward. Oh, Troy or something? Amateur. Right. That's like what coordinates horses look like. Yeah. They are powerhouses. I noticed that Donald were a lot leaner, you know? They weren't big tall horses, but they would have had more athletic type of physiques. And that's two different types of two different types of training. You know? And we've got to wonderful trainers that both as well give Sunday a huge amount of time to sit down and basically talk about all of those type of things. I've said many times on the show before, that Gordon does invite you into the kitchen and set it in and you know we have a bit of breakfast and he'll tell you he'll tell you what he thinks. And Donald was doing was doing exactly the same. And that's part and parcel of what we have to do with our product so that our owners enjoy it as much as possible. And take something from it that they can then watch races and we're going to air next week with scarlet witch and you know we do the content as to why we've chosen that race and Gordon has explained it to us, et cetera, et cetera. And I think that's all part of not just the ownership experience, but enjoying your racing more. So that's probably a four minute answer to a good question. But I think what we bumped into really was a true horseman. Genuinely. I'm seriously considering getting the very over, by the way. And. You know, as I said in the beginning, he'll do a podcast with us and I'm talking about Scott, which I'm serious. Gold in the passenger seat. And I'll be on the apps place in the beds. So yeah, look, that's it. I was really, really excited by it. And just the fact that he's well up for it in terms of the type of service that we're hoping to get the info and I don't mean banding informing information about your horse and in a day today where the welfare of the horses is absolutely key and all of that man's horses were looked after to a T and were unbelievably comfortable. I am very excited that all of.

"Was 50 seconds. That's all it took. For the opening day of this year's festival, which is the best day to be there. Check out their Twitter page and find that how. Also, three weekend passes for the Dublin racing festival up for grabs on this very show and I know Twitter page will tell you more in a little bit. First of all, delighted to say that top commentator Simon holtz is alongside me Simon. Welcome to the final front podcast, my friend. Thank you. Yes, good to be back. And a lot to discuss, I think. Absolutely. Your first show of 2022 for that matter. And Gordon Elliott now has a exceptionally strong hand at the head of a very broad market with pied piper heading over to the JCB drone fertile trial and bolting up just the 9 length victory. It was all about for Gordon prior to this and he did, I must say I mentioned the supreme. But since then he's kind of walked that back and said, another probably going to take each other on, which is going to be very, very interesting if they do. So pied piper is now favorite Phil doer who was the antipodes favors and has won his three consecutive races with his form Frank in the UK on Friday when we were on talk sport. Phil doors and our second favorite. So what did you make of pied piper, storming up that Shelton hill? Well, you could fail to be impressed by him. Good. I mean, he's won in an absolute Kanter. And wow, you might question the substance of the form and the horses he beat I mean forever William who was third was pushed along virtually the whole race didn't really travel. Paul Nichols ICO had been so impressive on his debut. He pulled too hard and he was one of several nickels train runners that performed poorly last weekend and it is this time of year that Paul usually gives his horses the flu jabs. And I think he always does have a slightly becalmed January and not all running badly but they did mostly on Saturday. But I think if you wanted something a bit more concrete, I thought that the winning time was highly respectable for a horse of one so easily because that's pretty much what it was a little bit a shade quicker than Cormier's victory in the preceding handicap hurdle. So for a four year old to do that, okay, pipe pipe was carrying 6 pounds less. Cormier is a one 30 pretty decent handicap hurdler and still probably improving a bit. I thought that gives the form that performance pipe pipers performance a degree of substance and you could fail to be impressed with him. And he's a very highly rated walls to go jumping these days. We don't get so many good horses from the fat going jumping. He was rated 96 on the flat. You know what I mean? That in itself suggests that he's a pretty classy horse. Right by the queen. Yes, that's right. I was going to ask you about that actually as well. I wonder if looking ongoing. One should have kept that horse. Because it massive racing fan. We know already that this is a season of all seasons. We haven't done enough for a while. Accommodating friend of yours. And the Irish side of the sea for he sent a horse to a bank.

"Hyping it. It's genuinely groundbreaking data that you're getting. This video updates on the all about Sunday app. Fantastic content. "To send over. So I call equal opportunities there. So what all about them they do is something similar. If the race that you're involved in is if JP, for example, in a alternate reality, if JP comes in with a massive witch, Darren will talk to us to say it will go through. But the money goes back into the team. You get the money. The money is dispersed amongst everybody who's got chairs in the horses. And whether you've spent 59 quid on a share or you've spent the maximum that you can, which I did with scholar, which because I'd heard about her two years ago in a point to point. My point man told me about this horse. And when Darren was telling me about how they got her, I was like, she said Don Don also Scott, which on the maximoff. Marvel Cinematic Universe. Your son will tell you all about it when he sees Spider-Man three, Rory. It'll be all about it. But it's very fair. And very well done. And the fact that the money goes back into the fans and the investors and the people who are involved. And the fact that you get a great day out for the trip to Gordon Elliott was just brilliant and I think the first person I met was Dominic and Dominic has just started listening to the final front podcast. Welcome to the crew Dominic. He couldn't believe he was at coordinates for source he sees his Tiger role gets a selfie with him. We took a selfie together as well. Big fan of the show. But he can't believe that he gets access to the information that he gets through all about Sunday for very, very, very, very little money. And he's just increased his love of racing so much. And that was the common theme throughout the whole day. So whether it's all about Sunday, which obviously are chosen partner, that they have a vibration club, whoever it is you're involved with. Syndicates as long as they're proper ones like Darren is running with all that Sunday. I couldn't recommend them enough. It's a great way to be involved in racing. And again, well done to you Taylor. To put a bow on this, who's your final selection? Because the one concern that I have about Deshawn is and this is what I want to put to you. The send down form's great. Run there twice one twice. Is this a horse psychologist thing in the case of just pure coincidence? But it was in soft ground. You ain't getting the soft ground. Software heavy ground on Saturday. Is that a concern for you? It's a bit of a concern. Yeah. And I think if you're again, we'll get an idea of what the Chinese writing like tomorrow. Give it a little bit of taste. So it could be the it could swing things. But I don't think, I don't think his issue is specifically the crime. It's not like there isn't really a pattern in this form that suggests that only gets soft grinding runs really well. And he's one on his one on good dissolve grind in the past. That was necessarily muscle recently won, but he won very easily. He didn't have any trouble with the grind that day. That was an oscillator. But yeah, there's no passion to say that he really doesn't want this crime that was good to solve today entry when he ran his best race over hurdles. So I don't think he needs the grind. And it wasn't hot deep when he won here..

"As time he'll over for that race. He didn't come over. But he did go to a toy in the meantime and got battered by Gallup moral, who has won the race for the last four years now in succession. But was going up against there's a new star. For Francois Nicole. And. Beaten Gallup Moran. So the expectation was she was going to go and win. And tongue hill was battered 20 lengths. 41 lengths in fact, actually. So it's a mess. It's a mess of a race. And I say, if you fancy something for it, gallop on the shop, I presume he's going to go for it. Is he going in love with chasing? I don't know. I need to go back over there. The Willie Mullins table tour. And so I have a question, marks that are more reasons to keep your money in your pocket now at this time of year. Yeah. Unless there is something in this race that is a big price. Flooring Porter at 11s might be just a little bit too big. And I'm really sorry for Jonathan Moore that things worked out the way they did. But having your side is a good thing. And the fact that Danny gave that horse such a brilliant ride in the stairs over the last year. And he gave him an absolute peach of a ride. As a race, I really like actually. Yeah, so I'd probably side with throwing portfolio because govern crumble as a man for the big occasion and he's a man to have spot on. And at 11, it's a bit too big, but buzz is interesting and he's definitely enhanced his credentials for the race. But as was said, gauche is kind of the story. Let's touch on your own operation, shall we? All about Sunday, 'cause I'm very much looking forward to seeing my horse back in action. Scarlet witch. I think that I've been very impressed with the numbers of people that are getting involved and more importantly the type of fan that's getting involved. They're genuinely looking to enjoy it. And people are seeing that the betting is not just the only way to enjoy your horse racing. And luckily enough we've got some nice horses there. You know, we have three year old Philly that's running tomorrow and punches ten. She's out to learn. She's only been schooling for the last two weeks to say what you want is her name. She's in the one o'clock tomorrow with punches ten. I wouldn't put people off in fasting in her in terms of buying a share. And keep an eye on that race. We've Coventry who's going to go for the 90,000 pound race in half on December the 5th. He's fully sold out. He's a nice horse and he's what I would call a festival horse. So, you know, leopard stem festival Dublin raising festival fingers crossed cheltenham festival. Yeah, your own horse scarlet, which look she was third in her bumper and wexford. You know, you got to expect her to win her bumper soon. And you know, I think that when she would go hurtling and then we're gonna get grateful for another and beyond. But I think that, you know, there's a couple of horses for me that are really starting to catch people's eye. And there's a fiddy there, come on Dubai, who's a three year old bumper fitty with Gordon Elliott. Look, she has to pedigree to die for basically directly related to denman and a half sister to grade one winning hearts and trumps. And you actually brought an you brought her out for the open day and paraded her in front of the all about Sunday crew who could be there. I didn't realize there was going to be a boss load of people, by the way. It was fantastic to see. We feel the bust like 50 to 52 of the owners attended. And this is what I mean about being involved with good people. So when we put up the registration for that on the app, we got 62 people to register in more night. And then I decided to take it down because I was like, look, that's it. And of the 62, ten people actually took the time to email in and say, I won't be able to attend. And then we got a full turnout from everybody else. It's not too often in the world today that people would do that. You know, that will register and send an apology. So, you know, that's kind of where I'm coming from in terms of being a very good bunch. And that community kind of like minded thing. But this come on the Berlin's a nice fairly she wouldn't be as advanced as scarlet witch, you know, who's a 5 year old. So instead of sending her up the gallops on her own, we just chose to parade her then Gordon had a chat to everybody about about her, Kevin or Ryan was talking about her and look, you know, most of us out there in life won't get a chance to own a filly by the super French stallion out of America who's a full sister to den men. You know? And they don't make them like that anymore..

"So, you know, I'd be happy enough to recommend her and not if any concerns about it. And even the videos that people will see from Gordon from the jockeys, you know, they're just going to they're going to confirm that, you know? And I think it's just for the winter that's ahead of us. It's great to have that level of interest and that level of involvement. Yeah, I didn't just buy scarlet witch because she's named after Wanda maximoff. And one of the MCU's the most powerful characters. I bought her because I should say, and I'll make the point that the structure works that you buy your shares. And so my my term is for 365 days from when I started and then I have the syndicate starts. Yes. So just to break that down, actually to explain. I then have the option to renew correct, which means that there are people who have bought into syndicates that are different models, and with the greatest of respect, maybe they get stuck. And then in a situation where they're trying to sell their shares and can't get rid of them. Whereas you have the option of renewing almost your subscription or not. Exactly. Does that stay at the same fee, darn? Or does it go up? Or does it stay at the same fee for somebody like me who's gotten in before she's run or does it potentially and then goes up for someone who wants to come in if she's after winning the great warmers hurdle? We can dream. That's a good question. The answer to that is going to be that you come in and you renew every year as an owner at the same level. Nice. And I think that that's that's got to be the way that it is. And the only point that I would layer on, you know, in terms of what you get is, you know, during that period, for instance, if she was sold, and, you know, somebody came along and offered half a million for her. And, you know, we as a syndicate decided to sell her, then, you know, the money is divided up between all of the owners at that point in time. If she goes and she wins, you know, X amount in terms of prize money, the prize money is divided up as well. And that goes back to the owners. So the only reason of having the annual thing is because, you know, she has to be has to be campaigned has to be trained and paid for on an annual basis. And then people will have the choice to stay in, as you said, or to stay action. And again, to emphasize prize money is going back into those who have invested. Back in to the fans, back into the investors and all about Sunday. Absolutely. And, you know, that's that's the bit that gives you the added the added kick. And hopefully, you know, that you'll enjoy scarlet witch. And then, you know, move on to other horses that we will have in time. Like we're very lucky to be to be in with Gordon Elliott on the basis, you know, that like he's such an exceptionally talented, exceptionally talented trainer. And, you know, he's going to get the absolute best out of the horse for us, you know? Yeah, we're recording on Tuesday and the news broke yesterday that Michael Leary has dipped into the market and bought four new horses. All to go into training with Gordon and he maintains that he is still winding his operation down, but that he did that to boost Gordon at a time that was quite low for him. But you must be very pleased, first of all, with how Gordon has come back, the form that he's in. But secondly, when you hear Carrie Brian come on the final frontal podcast last week and talk about American racing and obviously Gordon and Devi had gone over and how warmly received and normally welcomed they were, but also Gordon going to cheltenham and how warmly received and warmly welcomed he was there, particularly when he's in the winters and closure as well. You have to, you have to move on. Time, time was served, and now you move on. And it's good to see that that is how there might be a certain section of people on social media who want to have their say. But Twitter's not real. It's not real life. It's it's a microcosm of real life. Very true. And you can get caught up in this and you can get very easily caught up in the idea that, oh, this is how everybody thinks. No, it's not. It's not at all. And it is great to see that. It's great to see that he's been so warmly received on Irish tracks, but also in America and a cheltenham as well. Look, I think that, you know, the weekend just gone by in particular, you know, I think it did when you observe how warm people have been I kind of feel awkward nearly talking about the previous negativity because it does feel like it has passed. I don't need to. You know, nice. You know, like, as you said, it has happened. And it's in the past. But, you know, I think that he came back, you know, shoulders back chest out. He got by to doing what he's best at. Which is training winners, if you've sat in the man's company, you will know that he's very different to the guy that you would see on the television camera. Some people are kind of very comfortable on camera. Some people might be fractionally uncomfortable. I hope he wouldn't mind me saying that, but he kind of comes across totally differently when you stand in the yard and you have a chat to him. You know? And I never asked him about any other horses in his yard. It's none of my business. I talked to him about Sunday horses and you know what he thinks of those. And you can just feel what he thinks about them. And if you had a Euro for every time he says to you, I just want to train a winner. I just wanted to train winners. You know, and these hyper successful sports people, you know, tend to be nearly obsessed about scoring goals, you know, scoring points, having winners, whatever it is. And he has the talent, and he has that discipline to do with day in day out in the yard. You know? And I think it's amazing that, you know, he's been received so well, because a lot of people were sent to us at the beginning. You know, why would you, why would you, you know, give Gordon earlier ring? I'm very simply because, you know, you take a 5 year view on something with horses. You don't take an immediate view. And in the next 5 years, I think he's the man that we want to train our horses to deliver winners for our owners. And, you know, it's as simple as that really under reception. I think has been great. If you compare where it was, you know, at the original time before the ban like Jesus held that man was treated, you know. And I know you're saying it's a microcosm and it's Twitter, but the abuse was absolutely unreal..

"As some of the possible potential horses say one would like you say before midnight and below August proven a little bit last year, but I think there's a lot of big step up to make obviously the receive in a lot of ways here from Skype. But I think you might be able to the task to go in software. Yeah, I agree with you. And the fact that Jon Jones is back and forum as well, just tells you all you need to know cheltenham winner. And you'd like to think that he would be able to add to his course and distance success. So I'm with you on it and I'm delighted to hear that you're an agreement with me because I thought I was being she said, I'd just been completely unoriginal here. But the more that before midnight has closed in the market, the more that the force, the 11 to four but sky pirate then seems fair to me. So I'm more than happy to go along with him. Brief mention of the network handicap hurdle. I don't think that any of these horses will be involved in the handicapper when it comes to the children first of all. They may very well run if they're qualified because their owner can have a day out as Tim Carl referenced on the final frontal podcast yesterday. But we do have a former high profile purchase in panic attack who still is a bit to prove. And we've got Tully bag topping the market for Gordon Elliott who has won his last two. Yeah, I don't see why your favorite to be honest. But I'd agree with you that I'd be surprised if any of these horses were involved certainly in the business end of the ten final. I was just actually going to talk to you on women, it's all about Skype either to its hatches, a good example of a horse used is having to get Marco's risen through the summer so often we see it and then the left of the lofty rate for when the Windsor horse has come out this time in the awesome and ease of the Marco one 50 against skypower, which makes life tough for them and can totally be in a way is similar in that after his victories in September earlier this month is known among one through 6 island or not one 40. From the British on the table. Of course, is higher in Britain, of course. Of course. Of course. But I think if he's ever going to win a race off one for, it's probably now when he's got a fitness edge. He seems at the top of his game, conditions are in his favor. I couldn't imagine he'd be able to compete off one 40 when you get to the springs. So I think this is probably his big day in the sun, totally back. So everything is in his favor. I could see him see him one of the big race Gordon often does well, but this is a meeting that he tends to target and send forces over hopefully I can call them one of this meeting last year in the three mile novels chase race that you might touch upon briefly in a minute. Further out of your longer term the bigger price could possibly be a big day for next go feel the rise of butler's brief. He was one of another resources to follow in the book this year. He was quite taken with anyone impressively lost that opportunity was a fairly weak race, but similar conditions, and he might well go under the radar somewhat and on I just wanted to really big price right down the bottom. And personally, I don't normally look at the horses, I was the only capital Johnny one pound wrong. I still think it's always cool be well Andy. Judged on his points point success, which I was impressed with going back about three years now and the horses Mustang alpha. He's switchyard from Jamie Snowden to David Jeffries. First time chief pieces, but it's a sales bucket in the May 2019 ebit hospital straw fan Jack. You actually runs in the open race and the conditional jockeys race, which we spoke about earlier. He runs in that race of America one three two and Los Angeles beating them comfortably that day. I know obviously a lot of water's passed under the bridge since then. Things haven't gone quite as I expected to do what I thought it was a 10,000 decent purchase to be honest. I think at the time it was in the point to point section of eyeball. But all these are so far as a result. Is a novice handicap ahead of it. Well, he goes like these and ground, he's going relatively well when relatively fresh in the past. So change the scenery first time cheap pieces of them see them for a while. Don't think it looks the greatest race by potential. Sometimes qualifier standards. So I'll just be interested in, I think he's around 50 to one. And so what you want those on these grounds. So if The Rain stays away, you might be just worth a very small interest. Widely available. At 50 to one, and max Kendrick keeps the ride. So let's go. Let's go. 50s from polls. If Ferguson is actually his own max Kendrick Morgan Carolina and TC bought and originally, so it's not as if he's being sold. It's just a change. Maybe the thought of the changes that you know, obviously at that price, you know, you're taking a chance. And he hasn't. Had to give him a small chance. I'd say that's even if it doesn't work out this weekend, let's see. Disappointed if you can't rekindle a full on from a couple of years ago when he won his point to point. He should be able to win a hundred. There was me thinking I was being smart would push the tempo as the option, but I'm deleting that now. I'm just going with Mustang alpha. First of all, I love Ford Mustangs, the current model. Ford,.

"Welcome to this racing post cut. Its monday the six offset timber. I'm mighty pale in this week. I'm joined by jane stevens. I'm richard our stool. The rbis edits. We're going to talk about all of the things that went on over the weekend. That was fallout from the group. Misprint cobra hater. Also quality action at canton on lasko. Plus we had leeds prediman on sunday. That coke remained unbeaten the sort of sea stars in brilliant fashion. Making his top level breakthrough. But before that in today's paper there was an exclusive interview with gordon elliott courtesy of arush editor. Richard forrestal now. You won't need reminding what happened back. In february when a pitcher walls released of gordon elliott sitting stride a dead horse he was then given a twelve month suspension six which six months which was suspended for bringing racing into disrepute At the time this was a huge case on the eve of the cheltenham festival. Denise foster then took over the reins at conan draw. But richie when you went down to see him. Please tell me what you found out. An how this whole interview came about an expose. The story came a both Look we were all aware that he was to back in in in september and I know there are people in commenting to the effect that you know what. What is anyone interviewing interviewing him at this stage but at the end of the day he's one of the highest profile figures in our sport and he was hardly going to come back and no not at no one ever talked to mcgee. That sort of thinking is bizarre. So we had a chat with sam. Some of his people are on garbage him and then i spoke to himself a couple of weeks ago and i said would you be interested in doing a piece with us and and he said he would so. I was up there last week. And i sat down with him. I think the the the copy that's produced today in the paper and online on report. Dot com is fairly reflective of the conversation and the torn. He is extremely repentant. He knows he didn't unbelievably stupid thing. He has never really shied away from he accepts. that's Someone in his position in particular needs to understand the responsibilities that come with with the profile. He has he realizes he leads. Everyone don't realize he let dr don't under sport and he is extremely determined to come back and convince people. That's the picture doesn't as did the picture. And the perception people have him because of his is not portray. The person is really Does you're suppose. Wounding shootout has been conflated throughout all. This is that there's some sort of a What is their connection to and or would say personally from oil experience of of garden and his yard. And i know he's adamant that this was no welfare issue ear. What he did was unbelievably silly. And crass and juvenile. Because you know he didn't have the heart and that's something that people probably need reminding of he unfortunately racing racing's reputation got dragged through the mode. Because of what he did. But you know he didn't have the heart and there's no question that any of the horses in his care are not given anything book the best treatment. So and obviously there's a mixed response to You could polarize to some extent. Both and i think everyone is entitled to a second chance especially in a situation like this and you know he's done. His time wasn't inadequate ban. I mean there was. I think i wrote a column in the days before. I'm you know saying you know no matter what you got. Everyone was no no no sanction. That was gonna prove satisfactory. Everyone and should he got a year which he actually did. Suspension was a year with six suspended. Should he got six months got longer. I mean knows. It's an object subjective viewpoint. Sorry that everyone is going to have personally. I taught they got it about right. I thought it was fairly proportionate to no uncertain terms he was. It was a six month. Banner and a year suspension should say sorry six months suspension of his license. A year all told is a fairly significant deterrent dating. So so that's where we are. He he's going to be making entries on On theresa Possibility owners on tuesday point you snug on wednesday and unequal from there and foster was drafted in average for the at the festival from the stable. Won't go nellie pinup during this time would it be. Fed see was overseeing yelled still. He was involved in a in a boat yard. I know he spent some time away as well. But you know. My understanding was the denise was very heavily involved and she was very positive influence and very decent person would fairly soon judgment and she was acquitted of galvanizing force. Our own yard. But was gordon involved in the i guess he was as far as all and you know as we know. He was active at sales and so on but his business to ronnie sports. And you know. He voluntarily stepped away from the strike. He didn't want to be seen in public or he didn't want to be antagonizing situation any more than than necessary during his suspension He didn't have to do that. And we see plenty other trainers in similar situations who haven't elected to do that and you know onslaught to kind of shorter face. Even though the timothy suspended so i think he deserves credit for that. That that's what he's been opted. I mean he's he's he's you know he's he's blade today's piece. He's spent a lot of time table the way he does things. And the way he conducts himself and a would imagine you know he he. He he'd be chevy said you know taking care about all all his maneuvers future not to draw. Conclusions were comparisons between these two events. Richie but the ihop in handling of different issues has been in the news. Recently stephen mall and the trainer who was suspended for four years of neglect. the ban has been reduced. six months. we found out a last week. Do you think this tallies correctly in cohesively with the gordon. Elliot's case no. I don't think the remotely comparable really stephen. My hands kiss is is a welfare case. Indisputably that's thursday. Were serious issues. North at the hours he gardens case was not a welfare kiss and there have been a dozen or being in on announced inspections on the ad in the past decade And a corporal in the past year and there has been never any concerns that in regard to a dr not not related far unconcerned steven. Martin hit with a A four year abandoned as you say. Six months says is a four year suspension of his license. I should say just to be clear on that. We tend to use the word band but suspension of his license and on appeal last week had six months. Lifted no some of that was on a technically because one horse he was charged Sanctioned for twice was sanctioned and was another area in which the appeals panel desolated. That's the deal originally referrals committee. Had you know. Basically in did accepted one version of events kind of sanction on the basis of another. So they had to defend that had to be rectified. Blade the appeal They're they're not remotely comparable mattie or. I don't know anyone who would support stephen man's return to racing whereas you know a lot of people believe gardenias is is you another chance. He lost his big flag bearers. The likes of envoy on sergei pot excetera. I'm we'll see atmosphere. Like in spite of the perez asian and we often say that on social media if you look at the response to to the peace some people are saying he should never train again. Some people are saying you know. He deserves a second chance. Needs very welcome back. Where do you stunned will not a presume somewhere. In between and what. J. fill out the atmosphere is what do you think people are gonna do when he does return to a rights truck. It's hard to know isn't it. I don't think there'd be any major drama here. I think it's it's been acknowledged that he's he's done. His human Supposed was any any significant hostility and to be honest. I'd be surprised any hostility in in england. Either i mean the national Don't tend to you know d- national co tend to appreciate the good horses and so on whether the british royals we see now at cheltenham every year..

Gordon Elliott's charge finished second behind Easysland

"Johnny Henderson Grand Annual Challenge. Cup goes the way of that Man Gordon Ilias and Davy Russell Chosen Mate with Gordon finishing second with eclair. Fhu and then we had a massive raise for Joseph. O'brien he said that this has been the plan on the podcast that they were hoping for better performance and boy did they get it and well-backed as well thirty. Three's Joseph said that on the show after a handicap special. He was cut to twenty s and he was the chosen really. Well backed Jess but they were steaming into into from eleven tens on the day he was a bigger price earlier than sixteen beforehand. This money but chosen mate was well back to really the market phoned the right horses. All MOANING CHOSEN. Mayton us in them. Were horses that that that the other everyone tracking they were getting a lot a lot of attention. I know that in the morning you could have got nine to one. Third Chosen May and by the time the races off he was just just below five to one us and then was just below ten to one himself and another exceptional handicap performance for Gordon Elliott chosen. May He looks absolutely get up for this race. It was again another one that had been running incredibly well behind voices and this was a very very good victory. I think granite eighteen. Who BEEN LONGTIME ANTI POST FAVOURITE FOR PAUL? Nicholls wasn't quite. I don't know again. It was a bad day for political team. None of his horses really Brown. Well this on the best of all of them but they they kind of changed his tactics a bit and he was rather little bit more is positioned up with the pace more than and being being held up and he was always going well but it wasn't going to be the him but again. The Irish is showing dominance in handicaps and a brilliant victory for I think it was a I think. A big syndicate chose mate was at the northern racing partnership and and Yeah tallied upper a great great wheat for Gordon Elliott. Who the day on the morning. I think he had six wins and he was on six wins six seconds and three thirds and Willie Marlins was on three wins. Five seconds and five thirds somehow managed. Lose where he was one point six to be talked trainer. I don't know but amazing. Really really mullins cheers and better. Yeah another another top. Handicap spoke ordinary. I'll tell you how he lost seekers. Great White Shark third bosses. Oscar was unlucky not to get closer. But I'm delighted finish fifth because that went plays mony and he would've got it had it not been for parole qualifier horrible full. Oh Gordon but dramatic stuff and I do remember. It was like old school tv where Nick is handed a piece of paper. It was like something from watching like old school. Reruns of nineteen seventeen news broadcasts. Thanks thanks very much with that update because they were locked together as you said it was. It was amazing why Bez was held up in the rear great field. I have no idea because that doesn't suit him at all. But Hey Sean Joe is trying something different. Jodi mcgarvy keeping the ride Gordon wins again. Jane another huge success for for him. Presumably the approach from the British handicapper. Next year will be every Gordon handicapper. It goes up twenty pounds brilliant right by Davy Russell I had cut their scars in my selections and I wasn't all not comfortable watching the race. I was wondering were we going is as good as Davies. Body language suggested we were and he made couple of mistakes on the mound never panicked he ultimately put me at ease watching him I always once know you have debut Rossler Barry or you know Richard Johnson on your soy. Been you're instantly. Put at ease and no offense to Shana Keith or JJ seven but been of growing up watching the on the big day and he sold rarely gets it wrong. And this was a tactic. Good Brilliance from him I think most Ryan is part of the syndicate and they got great satisfaction from day. Celebrations would have been huge. I'd say the government the closing down and as a great seal being held up. Aki Job better than he usually does so. He didn't travel with fluency that he has done. When he raises from the front put he jumped a lot better than he can Paloma blue biggest parliament for me. I am not making any more excuses for the horse I think he has an implement ability but he wins someday and I won't be on Off and then it of bridesmaid isn't he? He's run second to their Eastbourne couple times in grade ones and now he's been third at Jutland hearings massive race again. Joseph O'Brien but ultimately that is David Ostlund chosen may stolen show horses connections and he's giving them some great days but you're right he's a bridesmaid. And Hey look we did. All right we did find in terms of our handicaps. I'll happily take place. Thank you very much on a bonkers week and the bunkers week would end with a twenty five so one Wynonna First Cheltenham Festival. Success for Paul Weber. Would Philip Hobbs. Who's we could have been saved and a brilliant ride from Ben Jones. As well ultimately a short head stops them from getting a victory in behind on mcinerney giving. Willie mullins great white shark a fantastic ride And Gordon Elliott's the bosses Oscar running a stormer. I thought I stayed on really really strongly in the Martin.

"Welcome to our second festive review on the final furlong podcast on Miss Kennedy alongside Bet Fares Connor. Hello Hello Welcome back. My French French TV show. There wasn't it I I like that. What about do you want to do the accident? You can do not Lulu simple. It is also the glorious return from a long absence of at the races. Irish tipster on one of the best writers in the game final. Furlong podcast legend. Tony Kanaan his back on the show up. Build up the only one who really gives us some but this is you. Don't be hyping it up and down and happy new everyone Beta Beta. We agree to bike and show. We'll be talking reassessment and good risk that it's great to have you back. I know that you are incredibly busy. Best of luck a new bundle of joy on the way as well for the New Year so the workload is going to get even harder in in the house but looking forward to having you on the podcast a bit more and particularly unity with you and the children preview with you in the usual venue all being well and we're looking forward to that so look that'll be better Caracas. Well let's get into our review so in part one with Jess and Kate. We look back at Saint. Stephen's Day and boxing day from here. We're going from the twenty seven th onwards. So we'll start with the Patty's rewards club loyalties altis did look for rewards chase. This was check on poor soil is supposed to be crowning moment. I guess his return. He done a brilliant piece of work or at least it looked that way. Danny Mullen said worn the head cam it all it very impressive buddy got blown away. By the two stars of the moment Henry Debrum head and Rachel Blackmore the story on the fair exchange beforehand Karen. I presume shotgun personnel was being well-supported Yeah Second Priscilla laws. I mean this was the hartaway. We're all hoping to see over Christmas. This harstad we spoke about before Christmas was one of the ones who are really excited to see this race and never really for me got GEICO and in the race it did hit a low point. Few eight hundred surround want to four ALU tired hides a BS five point five which is nine to two and did eleven or ten into one in running which again until surprise me to be honest. I mean our plutarch's the youngest one in the race I suppose the kind of almost forgot how amazing and I wrote Shetland. Moore's last time I if I was looking at the shotgun slot ruin it. I don't know twenty split seemed to be almost missing an extra year when it it was coming up. I like to know what they are going to do. Now both does a lot of reasons. I suppose that you could still be in the campus. Well which can persuade was it. I ruin and so will I know some people have said the populist Carson maybe not sold audible for me but I'd like to see off new tired now go onto the right air. I'd like to see how we get on with that and shocking. We'll give it. We'll give one more ago. I wouldn't show the baby out with water. Just it was a disappointing on a strange Leopardstown and a strange Christmas relief for Willie mullins because a number of his big guns severely disappointed. Some of them had very a legitimate excuses. He still ended up being top trainer at Leopardstown which was odd considering the amount of bubbles that were burst but Gordon Elliott currently has a five hundred thousand euro lead over in the trainer's title but sh- as Brian Flanagan said whisper. That one quietly that he's currently got that lead. What did you make out of a plutarch? Let's start with the winner. Tony Ryanair as is the target for him much to Roy frustration. But this was in. This was impressive. Maybe we'll take Willie mullins Christmas for steroid very intentional Christmas and for a yard strange. They're we're having a strange season and history at no over the last couple of weeks mont seventeen eighteen percent whereas there's like William Orleans seasons past twenty percent thirty percent the question. I was asking me winning where all the new horses Commodore Chat Chat. lapis tones past year could be shared with emboldens would have maybe a couple of French horses. That hadn't been seen in on the days run in the mid and orders you'd be seen six to four in the morning east hates. Take that on 'cause off four to five and winds fifteen minutes and you're kicking yourself do toss this year are- recycling the same incident. Orders the fee spirituality. I wanted on Stevens the business and and the game it's Josh. Let's call him Jones. Noga be the Donnie Colorado's debate and Henry sources wherever wherever the new communist of the bar. Quick questions is is. Don't think deeply who's really nervous order the minutes. Jesus is Avenue. Thank you see what I'm getting at this time does pass to be fit the top of a novice whore you'll be thinking about not supreme body body more stats or whatever not this year so that that's a little bit strange. They last year obviously young harsh on in the champion Bumper Cheltenham. Blue Saturday. He'd already disbands. We may talk about emily and so some slightly stain season going on now William owners now some of them just come back to check on Bush lost some of them. You could argue are are needing to run a little bit. That would not be the usually it would win over the years so I was bit. Negatively is the bubble burst Chakma Shaw possibly reports this and he don't have a sort of an impossibly high salen after punches. Tony he destroyed. You officers the officers coming from win and grade wants and as has been pointed out that was. NBC's and follow him. He was a fresh horse. Daffy wasn't fresh injected Geneva wasn't fresh that lottery at that stage taught zoning twenty-seven Puerto a little bit of Lydia. NYDIA is good for very good place. When he tip evening free bought him a electors? The winner m writing is put in the salvaged performance. was dimissed. This one and I was amazed to cope with the drop in trip. Am I tipped this shop and I didn't think this was remotely possible that it was going to afford enough augments stick this Richard said he was on his head a little bit early on. Didn't didn't really look that way and I talked. He was well on top after last. was never allowed on. And you know what I think is he just. After taking another mass of jump he looked very good and am NASTYA. Henry says you need. They're enforcing motor navin. I know he's just he's just a proper a he is only faith it chuck. You'll be seeing all this scope which is seven had raised in France before it came to. Willie mullins wait. It didn't roll Naomi. Ah for whatever many days and just look this up here and toes and named is needed wasn't trained for those days those teams you know for good copy. So I'm I'm a little bit lukewarm checking schlock boat incredibly positive on a plutot on Henry debris made 'em noth- known for Shea and away from big risk so I'm wondering are they going to go championships with this horse and I'd be interested in them. Not just was a brilliant performance and dig a statement another step forward. I was very good on the clock as what trainer comments can always be open to interpretation. And that's something that Mara was referencing in our bonus. Bonus betting special podcast. which if you haven't listened to strongly recommend that you do that? He often takes trainer comments with a pinch of salt and he's more interested in just doing his own form work and coming up to his own conclusions. The initial plan was Ryanair. That was what they were. They were staging they were going to do. And of course. That's the distance that he the handicapped children last year. But Roy was putting the source up as a big price for the champion chase at the start of the season and you have jost post given him a little bit more encouragement. And when you look at the current Marcus like does a question mark over your deputy Sawyer is coming through and has looked very good. He's passed every test so far. But there's probably going to need a little bit more
