"Kind of tested To be frank even if we did an had a really good release of we've done like a barely squad for instance we've done We used to have cooper series where we did kind of shorter term residency time beers. That would still work okay or work well with barely aging but we didn't want to extend that time out We did a couple trials with it and it just doesn't turn out as well just because of the styles so oxidation really takes over on lighter color beers in particular Much faster so even the wheat wine. I think you'll get a lot more kind of more. Just like syrupy notes That's how i perceive it It's it's kinda more you might get some. I want to say anything to rough around the edges. But you definitely get kind of more like a sweeter note and that's what the Oxygen kinda while that beers aging And that kind of gets hidden more in some darker beers so like especially like quads anything with more caramel malts. added to the grain. Bill you're going to get kind of some of those marrying attributes so it's not as pronounced but with wind. There's literally no caramel malts at all. So it was really just a way for us to showcase what is happening in the barrel and that's it so that was kind of just a fun experiment that we did that. We thought turned out really nicely. And we've done a couple of releases now so it was just kind of serendipitous Yeh i mean by and large were trying a bunch of different things Not quite as much as maybe some other folks but I think it's partially because we have such a following for the stout that we just kind of. That's that's primarily what we're bruin basically all year round in order to get the volume that we're kind of shooting for hopefully by the end of the year. I mean between you all. And i'd say by my next favorite might be like prairie. You know they. They do a fantastic job with barrel aged beers as well but would you all have you all..

"We argue and bicker but You know pulling too much tannin or just having too much of that prune juice. Kinda characteristic or just oxidative characteristics in general are usually just not unless it's balanced your balances key for us. So that's kinda why we dabble in different stock ages essentially And that's largely. What i do is kind of determine what those groups are going to be in how. It's going to play out year after year. Well next time i'm in chicago. I want to come and see what this prune juice is all about. Because i know when when i introduce people to it i'll be like was it tastes like i'm like if you could mix like soya sauce together like it's like it's like back toss dead it's the texture of motor oil and they're like you love them like you're gonna love it. Yeah i mean. The alcohol doesn't hurt but Yeah no it's it's just such a monstrosity of like what people would normally think is beer. You know for sure. And i wanna talk about the alcohol here in a second. But there's another question to ask about the barrels real quick because you know with with bourbon barrels. It's it's a used one sentence done sort of thing. Are you all ever using things or is it like once we use it for our batch. it's off to make furniture or something like what's what's your process. Sure yes so. We've changed it Since i started several times but The big thing we do is we kind of stick to that one and done mentality by and large The only time now That will do anything with it. As if we're gonna do some sort of sour beer trial batches or use it in Like we've done What what did we call it. Food or read was a good example. It's essentially a flanders read style Sour beer that aged in both footers and then we used some used to kind of get a little bit more like kind of chocolate notes and A little bit more depth to it. But only if it's going to like sour production we used to do barley wine. Used to be a blend of both fresh and used Bourbon county barrels And to be honest. I really liked that blend but it it. Obviously it just lends itself a little bit too easily for a issues down the road so we just avoid it now like like bacteria contamination that so it's i mean. Part of the problem really is not so much Like if it was just the beer itself. I think things would be fine But that particular beer just has so much Fermentable sugars stolen it. So even while contaminations are a potential issue or reforming tation with our house strain so like we could have theoretically exploding barrels right. Because it'll build up enough pressure that it'll just do that..

Yeah, I've done the same thing where I stopped at liquor stores like around the corner just random and it's like I said, I've been in there. How could any walk-in you're like, oh my God their beer selections incredible. Well, you know, so this beer selection was not incredible a lots of wage. I shall Micheladas Micheladas, but then I found one case that was an incredible local like Super Hyper local like a case like a glass like a fridge case like one glass window like a phrase. Okay? Okay. Yeah the fridge case and it was all like three Weaver and 1818. No 818 and I am actually 28. Yeah 818 and it was like a receipt apporter or something and Reseda IPA and I was like, oh I should get the receipt IPA and then I looked at the ABV and it was like phone number. Percent that's like I'm not drinking. Wow released. Why am I going to wish to waste it on beer juice? Right? So then I saw it said one bottle per customer and I was like, oh that's gotta be good if they're offering it to one bottle per customer and I did not know who's Island was Chicago. I always I've been drinking Goose Island like they're four packs. I've been I thought they were New York. I was in New York based thing. Is it just like a a brand of theirs? Have you heard of Bourbon County? Yeah. Is there a in Illinois? No Goose Island in Chicago, which is in Cook County. Oh, okay. Good. Well, this is Goose Island Bourbon County and it's the original. I think that's just a made-up name. Yeah, this is the name. So it's called brand vanilla Stout and they really they oh you got vanilla wage. Vanilla, we both the vanilla and it's Stout aged in Bourbon barrels with vanilla added..

Black Lives Matter supports looting in Chicago

"To the loop will be limited tonight until 6 a.m. tomorrow morning as city officials try to stop a repeat of last night's chaos, But some activists say they support what happened. W jeans Dana Ravic joins us to explain Dana Well tonight We're hearing reaction to the events downtown last evening from city and civil rights leaders who are speaking out against it while members of black lives matter. Are condoning the looting Anything they want to take. Take it because these businesses have insurance. They're going to get their money back. My people aren't getting anything. Except police. Except here. Gas in front of the first police district. Members of black lives matter justifying the actions of looters last night. Glass could be heard breaking throughout downtown at one point multiple rounds fired at police near the Gucci store on Michigan Avenue as hundreds ran into stores and left with armfuls of clothes and other goods. To those who engage in his criminal behavior. Let's be clear. We are coming for you, Mayor Lori Lightfoot and police Superintendent David Brown, addressing the chaos after the smash and grabs in much of the mag, Mile and portions of River North and Goose Island. This was not an organized protest. Rather, this was an incident of pure criminally Reverend Jesse Jackson tweeting. Today this act of pillaging robbing looting in Chicago was humiliating, embarrassing and morally wrong. It must not be associated with our quest for Social justice and equality.

"Goose Island Beer Company. Hope that you have a great Weekend, especially with baseball. No cubs, obviously because the Cubs on the Cardinal's Siri's has been postponed because of covert 19 But there's other things to watch white socks. Everything else around Major League Baseball. Don't forget to follow on Twitter at ESPN MLB show We're going to hear from Jessie. Just a moment. Let me squeeze in Mike in Schomburg with Jonathan who know the baseball show on ESPN 1000. Hi, Mike. Hope you're having a good Friday. Great Show Great Show, which was longer tonight. Quit two quick points, one on Why teams don't just get L's like there's not a lot of responsibility. You know, they get Cove it and it's just okay. We'll postpone it will postpone it. It's not all right. You get it out three people up from the taxi squad. And play the game were take the L and then you know, owners. Maybe they have to find players. I know Jeff's not gonna like hearing that could be the player guy. However, I feel like there's no responsibility and a millionaire. I mean, let's just take athletes out of it right. Do you need? I don't know. A lot of any millionaires. Thank you. Thousands. Most millionaires seems to have an air about them that they can almost do whatever they want. Whenever they want, And I think that's the same situation that's going on right now without any, you know, without any sense of restrictions or penalties to the team. And then the players. Hell, Even the owners of their teams are missing games. Take away some of that revenue. I think that may help. Help that situation a little bit. I appreciate you breaking down the game of baseball and not just crushing the game and talking about the generalities of it as well. Really appreciate that great show. Thank you, Mike. I appreciate you checking in on the baseball show it just No, I love the sport. Just like you love the sport. There's so many things to the two baseball that we've got to talk about. You know, I've had a hard time trying to balance covert 19 and that actually what's going on on the field. This year, But I've enjoyed being able to talk about both because we know Coben, 19 in that story is real, but also the action that we do get fantasy That's really is well, and it's also great to just have some semblance of baseball, even though it doesn't seem like The baseball that you and I are used to it fans and the pageantry of the sport, But it's it's here in some cities, not all of them Clearly. Jesse Rogers covers Major league baseball for ESPN dot com. And he joins me here on the baseball show presented by Goose Island Beer Company on ESPN. 1000 Jesse. You just heard from our caller Mike talking about the taxi squats all I'll start there. Now that we know that the Cardinals in the Cup series is postpone for this weekend. What about the taxi squad? How come taxi squad players are not being utilized enough across the board? To prevent cancellations in major league baseball. Yes, there's a misconception there. The players air there to replace the ones that tested positive, but that has nothing to do with canceling games. The cancellation is To prevent further spread and in case other cardinals in this instance are positive. They don't want to gather the teams together on DH. That's the problem. Yeah, you can replace the ones that have already been Dean positive. But this incubation period is causing havoc. The point is, we know the Cardinals have an outbreak. We're waiting for it to subside. They figured a couple negative days of negative tests. Results would be okay. But then a positive one pops up out of nowhere. So yeah, that player will be replaced, but they we don't know who else could be positive. So now they want to wait another couple of days. To make sure the rest of the guys that are that are left over don't infect each other or certainly the Cubs if it was this weekend, but that that's the reason you're not just seeing them call up and not missing games. And maybe that is something we really didn't visualize before the season started. Jesse would baseball just continuing the way that's going to remember Rob Manfred with that? Sit down with Tom Verducci a couple of weeks ago, saying that if we're gonna have, you know multiple outbreaks for, you know, with baseball teams, and we might shut it down. How much is this damages for just for just keep going and having all these cancellations You know, I think they want power through. I think they're hopeful that these two outbreaks have been wake up calls for the players and number two. The tightening of the protocols will help prevent the next outbreak. So sometimes and I said this Ah, last week. I think I'm one of the shows You need a little leveling off period when summer camp started, there was a positive test. Everybody was delayed member. All those delayed practices. Things settled in in the last couple weeks of summer camp went well, thanks. Same thing. Here we start traveling guys test positive. They're not. They're little lack, so I don't need to wear the mask everywhere. And all of a sudden we have two outbreaks now. Things level off. Once guys learn what they need to do. They tighten up the protocols. Maybe baseball messed up. Maybe surgical mask should have been required right away. But look, they're listening to their medical experts, the medical expert said. Cloth mask And now on buses and planes. They've said surgical masks, so I don't think it's his chaotic as you as you might think..

"Frantom well. Why don't we re revisit? This beer cooler mellow hello. Good away a winner. Way Way Cool All right well I want to go first. But what is what is this. It is is from goose island solo their diet with ninety calories and three percent Abe. I think my head hurts from reading so poorly. It's a six. This is a slam dunk. There is none of that. Ip a Finnish has great taste. And it's less US calories less somebody else's beer slogan but this is really really good. I'm sorry that Laura or miss this one I think she might like it. I would definitely drink this on the regular. This is total six if you dow on the opposite side side of this if you are an IP fan. I don't know if you're going to like this because it's not as harsh or as on top of your copy as is a normal I is. This is really drinkable and smooth and quick. Finish Sabrina. It's very it is very drinkable. I thought it had like a little bit of a weird aftertaste. Almost like you would get after like a Almost like a diet soda type of for the most part it's really smooth. I mean you can easily drink six. I mean I would have preferred something a little stronger personally but no overall. It's it's not a bad sign a bad beer. Yeah if you were if you really dieting or or just something looking for locale it would be a great choice Over some of the other low Calorie Beers that are Out there by far I mean did you give it a rating. I don't know if I did. No I've been anxiously awaiting a number. Well that's the thing is like I could easily drink sticks but I don't know if I had wanted during sex I'd give it a four just because I think I'd want something a little bit more full bodied read four still pretty good. Yeah all right bare master I love it. I think it's a good traditional. Ip a very light has a nice crisp taste to it. Not so you still get some mild happiness in there. I think it's a great alternative for those low Calorie Beers. That are out there. You know. It's finally something where instead of just being like like here. This is low calorie with no flavor. This you get some flavor to it so personally I would drink this a lot. This is six. I think it's a good summertime beer. Great on those nice warm warm days where you want something. That's cool refreshing with some flavor and I like it. It's very good. Yeah I I really liked this vicious save one for before the Shaw like. Oh well you can take those with you home but now I'm.

"So given all that he was dealing with last year from an injury standpoint from a transition the Pro Bowl standpoint, it was kind of tough to really get a firm grasp on where he is in terms of readiness at the end of the twenty eighteen season. And really the third thing is that people easy to lose sight of the fact that when we signed him based on his immigration from Cuba based on the fact that the signing process is pretty elaborate and take some time it really he had a layoff from playing, you know, on a regular basis of excess of a year. So he was shaking off rust. He was acclimated a new culture last year and dealing with injuries all of which again sort of had us entering twenty nine teen. Not really sure other than the marvelous. Tools about how close he was to be a big leaguer. So this is going to be an interesting here for him. I I would love to be able to tell you. Hey, he's going to be ready. You know on this date of this year? But given how how special his tools are, you know, right now, the focus is on keep them healthy keep them playing on a regular basis, and you know, from follow his lead in terms of what he shows us in terms of readiness and remain flexible, Rick I wanna ask you something that sidesteps baseball Xs and os a little bit. But it's the partnership with goose island, and what you guys got going on there. It's a new offering that fans did enjoy this year out there when I go to the ballpark. Yeah. There's a new area behind the right near the right field bullpen there that has become the goose island area. I think that's the name. But if they've they've really dressed up in a great way with access to televisions and comfortable seats in great craft beers. And goose island beers all over the place there. And it should be a a great place to watch a game. Not exactly my focus on a day-to-day basis. But still something that is gonna you know, hopefully further enjoy the fans enjoyment of the ballpark along with what's going on on the field. So there won't be days that a record or leave his card home over down there and go, you know, what I'm going to sit there, and I'm going to cocktail to watch the game. They don't want the day after we clincher next division. I'll probably be there you go. Okay. So you are I believe I've got these. Right. Michigan Harvard and Kellogg school of management highly educated. So you understand and you've worked on both sides of the business part of baseball contracts. All that to prepare you for the job you currently hold now as GM of the Chicago White Sox, you get a contract with the law Jimenez, Ronald the kunia junior signs a deal that there are people around the game on what did you just do? You could in the next Mike trout. Do you think this is? Where we're headed where guys are going. Hey, I want security I come from a foreign country. I was raised with nothing. You pay me fair. I'm going to do it because it used to be we're going to free agency. It's a it's a real fair question. I'm not sure we quite have seen enough to know, exactly. If it's a new trend or something to just over the course of the last, I don't know six to eight weeks or so has has become a little bit more common. We've obviously approach guys very early in her career going back for for decades. Now going back to Mark Burleigh and kinetico prior to targets eligibility, obviously with sale and Q and eating and then now, Kim Anderson and a lawyer, so it's always been part of our economic strategy. And you know, when we went to Jerry Reinsdorf to talk through this entire rebuild back in two and a half years or so whenever it started. There was an element of Dr plan that involve continuing to be aggressive economically with young guys. And we're not always things really one. We've had we knew we were going to have to start doing a little bit earlier, obviously with some of the players. I alluded to they had. A couple of years of service in the big leagues before we did it whereas Loy was prior to his major league debut. So we knew we're going to have to start being a little more aggressive because the ability get these things done gets a little bit harder. The closer players get to arbitration and to we also knew we weren't going to be able to get them done with everybody. And there are players over the last few years. We've had these similar conversations with who to their credit decided, you know, what I'm going to bet on myself, and I'm gonna play this thing out. And I'm going to see how arbitrator and free interesting goes. So I don't think it's rampant throughout the game. But it certainly over the last two months seems to to have ramped up a little bit in terms of players making that trade. And frankly, I think it's I understand taking a step back and looking at sort of macroeconomic pitcher and saying, hey, you could have been this guy. If you waited six years, but boy it's hard to criticize someone to for turning down generational wealth to play this game. So I get it from both sides the betting on yourself as well as the securing, you know, multiple. Multiple generational comfort going forward. Hey, before we let you go as you keep seeing every day. Whether it's a law Jimenez, Ronald the Coon. Yeah. We saw Zander Bogart's Kyle Hendricks like every day. There's another guy signing a deal. Do you look at it and go God. If I didn't know this was going to happen with all of these guys. I would've put more guaranteed money Machado. Or are you concerned that when you really feel like aren't I want to go out and spend there won't be anybody to spend it on? No, there'll be players suspended on look we as we get closer to this window, and we're smack smack dab in the middle of it. The, unfortunately, the one thing I'm going to be certain of at this time is that there are going to be needs that we need to address from outside the organization and the ways to do that will be, you know, the more traditionally through free agency and two if there's not those answers in free agency, it will be via trade, you know. It's part of why we wanted to build up this critical mass of impact guys in part to obviously you develop as many guys as we can Chicago Chicago, the help us win a championship here. But also because we knew we're going to have to make some trades at some point and then the next year year. Plus, we're going to have to start making perhaps some difficult decisions about prospects that we like to go out and address other needs because we have depths and certain areas and part of being able part of the currency and making trays is having that economic flexibility and being able to absorb. Contracts and being able to, you know, take back a little bit more money than perhaps some of the other bidders are. So from a from an economic flexibility standpoint, I'm not concerned in terms of being able to put that to good use. So once once the time comes a good thing that you're not trading sale can Tana whoever the eaten whoever the case may be you'll be at the other end of the rebuild going. Okay. I got I got a redundancy here. I've gotta get something there. We can do it. And we can take the money. Let's go. That's a good thing to be at Rick. No, you're absolutely right. And we talked about it today. We traded Chris today we made the Boston trade. And you know, we were received a lot of accolades from our peers and all that at the time of that deal, and you know, candy, and I talked about at the time. Now, you know, what look more for to being on the other side of these transactions. That means that is rebuild project is bearing fruit, and it's time to compete, and we're ready to be aggressive to add these, you know, premier veteran types to to help us win. So that's the that's the end stage. We're not we're not obviously quite there yet. But it certainly has been part of the plan from the start recruiting for you can't have a great day and enjoy the home opener. Sounds good. Thanks for having me. Guess we'll talk to you soon. There you go. Our guy. Rick Hahn comes on a lot with us throughout the season enough that he's really good. So he's not worried at all that there won't be free agents. So we'll see guys keep signing. I can tell you that. Hey, what is wrong with the cubs? Can they get the pen, right and Peter gammons just break news that the cubs are making a roster move. We'll get into all. All that coming up, and we have tickets to give away to pair each hour, including the Carmen and your co shell for today's White Sox home opener. You wanna go come on down at CS here. "Up from forty three. This is much life. The the big competition. They had outside. Goose island brewery. Yeah. Probably the same level of success hitting field goals right now who did we have there? We had a Nick folk they're not Nick outside of goose island. No, no. Today. Blair walsh. Some dude named Austin mcginnis. Mike Golic junior. One of our listeners and one of our listeners a lot of people I heard Letterman raging kid. We pray canker who kick last year and the answer to that is no because the rules don't allow you to bring in free agents yet unless there been cut from a team. These are guys who are not who weren't signed on a team at the end of last year free agency doesn't start till the newly gear starts, and that's in mar my guess is as well as they'll spend a good bit of time scouting kickers not to draft. What to sign is free agents. That would be my guess. Yeah. Oh for sure. And to just have a general feel for who's coming into the league this year from the collegiate game keep an eye on them. See if they're available to sign see if one of the get drafted and then released I'd be very surprised. Listen, give him the benefit of the doubt. I didn't give him the benefit of the doubt heading into two thousand eighteen in free agency and the draft. You know, why? Because it in deserve it. They've earned the benefit of the doubt. I didn't like the fact. That they gave Cody parking nine million dollars guaranteed. But I'm going to give Ryan pays the benefit of the doubt kicker. Yes. And I know that he's had zero success on it. Had no success bringing in free agent wide receivers Diddy until last year. So I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt. I think he's earned it, look if you are the unite both agreed. He's the exact should be the executive of the year the Ballard. But if he's the executive of the year, you can't tell me that you aren't confident that he's going to finally find the solution to this problem. Right. If he can't find the solution to this problem that he's never should never be considered for executive the year gonna put up a poll question, which person would you most want to return to Chicago sports, and I'm gonna give you four chances. And MRs spurred by all the love Robbie gold is getting even my doctor said today four week checkup from surgery today. My doctor big bears fan, I told you the story about when I went into surgery that I even said, I don't feel good about Cody parkey against the eagles. And sure enough that came true. But my doctor said you think we should sign Robbie golden. I said I'm not a fan of that. I don't want to pay. Cody parkey, the five million dollars of dead money, and then pay Robbie gold four million a year in essence paying a kicker nine million dollars this year and cap room. A you know, you have other holes to fill to I want to find Robbie gold like the bears found Robbie gold-winning was twenty three. I want to find the next Jake Elliott. I want to find the next Harrison Butger, I wanna find all these young kickers Arroyo Haas is that his name in in in in New York. He's in the Pro Bowl. He these are the guys I want to find and he was very accurate in the skills competition. In the skills competition. Mitch, by the way, I gotta get to that bad dodgeball player. Don't open yourself up to the high they'll come over and sting you over and over, but it's dodgeball basics. It's three to one dodgeball and everyone runs for the balls. The line. Now, you don't go after Sylvia. You don't have to go and grab the ball. Because what you're doing is putting yourself at risk at someone who's quicker than you. And the other team to get the ball. And that's what happened Mitch literally lasted three seconds. He wanted to leave. A maybe it was a veteran move maybe wanted out because he he had things to do cannon dodge ball, but Andrew luck. Like knocked them out like that certainly didn't have to practice for the accuracy competition. Three two one. Now, go after Don. No who'd be created ball. Pat mahomes. Pama homes would be great dodgeball cannon. We've always debated would Cutler be good at dodgeball. Don't care. Color would hit himself with the ball. Just so you could leave the I, thanks. Cigarette while he was flying. I know he doesn't smoke. It's the gif get solid. This cigarette. What I didn't know how to respond. Not comfortable. Thank you. I don't think he cares. So we're we're oh, so I'm gonna pull the question about which I'm gonna give you four choices. Would you rather have Robbie gold returned to the bears? Would you rather Derrick rose returned to the bulls? Would you rather have Tibbs returned to the balls? Or would you rather have Panara and return to the Blackhawks those are the four I'm giving you if I missing somebody on the baseball side of things, and you would like to go other and tweet me someone that you believe is better than those four. You can do that. I don't understand the fourth option. So I'll stick with the other three. Listen if you could get Robbie gold comeback at a minimum salary. I'll sign up for that. Do you believe that to be the case? No, I don't think he will be. I I was reading you guys a tweet the other day or a story from from San Francisco where? What's Lynch's first name, Aaron Lynch? No, the GM John John Lynch said look Robbie goals been great for us. We wanna keep him. We're working on it. So it looks like the forty Niners. You're going to try to keep him and pay him. I mean as much as I'd like to see him in a bears uniform. I'd like to see that with a minimum salary attached to it. And I don't think Robbie will do that nor should he go out there and a cash giant check. They don't have a ton of draft picks, and they still do despite being a good young team with some depth. They still have some issues that they've got to address, and I know kickers one of them. But like you said earlier, you I just don't think you can tie yourself up with any more of your resources in that position. Or are they going to resign ammos? And I know there was some like some weirdness going on on Twitter. I sent it to you guys. I don't know if you saw the video his agents sent out a picture of him signing something today. But we don't know if it's a contract or what I don't know. I said at the time. I would be more inclined to re sign Bryce Callahan. Then if I had to choose between the two, and that's I mean, listen Adrian, ammos has been very solid player for them. Since he came here as a fifth round draft pick. I just have a larger are better or bigger value or appreciation for a cornerback even a nickel corner in this league. At this time you're in. You're in sub groups sixty percent of the time price Callahan. I don't know what percentage of the plays. He play but he had to play a ton of them. And he was really good. This really good. Yeah. It's hard to find good Cornerbacks. And you can't pay them. All I mean, they paid obviously they paid prince amukamara handsomely it. I would prefer to see them pay Bryce Callahan. If you have to choose between Callahan, and ammos, I'm siding with Kelly. You think you could find another Adrian ammos type player to play next? Eddie jack's. Yeah. I mean, and look you've got to pick and choose a fun out amount of money to spend. So like I like to say, I'm not choosing. I it's a vote for Bryce Callahan. Not a vote against Adrian Amos. I value the corner nickel corner position more than I value. He's more of an in the box safety anti Jackson's the one that roams all over back there and gives you basically a corner and a safety's body and does all the other stuff. I think Adrian Amos's more of it in the box type of safety. I think a third corner is more valuable these days in this this off this this this NFL landscape than than a safety. Now, remember ammos had a better year than parkey did. But. Amost made one of the bigger mistakes in that football game where the bears got eliminated too. Yeah. That was a huge mistake. At the end of the game. But it led it was a huge plan one of their two touchdown drives. Now, my decision to not pay him wouldn't be solely based on. It would be more based on. I just have a higher value for. It's like I would pay a defensive end before I'd pay a nose tackle understanding that a nose tackle is still very important. Like would you pay akiem Hicks before Eddie Goldman? Of course, you what? Now. Fortunately, they've been able to pay him both. But there's a finite amount of resources. So we'll so that's why I like, I'm with you. I would want Robbie gold to kick for the bears. But it's it's gonna cost you Robbie gold stock is at its highest. I would think that Robbie gold who got cut a few years ago is now this kicker whose only missed twice since he's been cut can totally capitalize. Terry would just brought back today. The colts just announced added military's forty five or forty six and groppy's what thirty seven Robby Robby Robby is in. At the end where he's just going to accept like a one year deal to return to Chicago Robbie's value. He could sign a three or four year deal, and I would advise him to go out there and get paid man. I mean, he's thirty six robberies thirty six is plenty of life left in that leg. He's here. Here. Go get paid military's forty six. I have to admit though, when I saw that scroll by that. He was the colts were reopened with them for one more year. Like, he's forty six. In the playoffs missing the playoffs it helps. So because of where they play. And they also play in a division. Where thing about it. You play you're gonna play in Jacksonville where the weather's good. And you're also gonna play in Houston that also has a dome, right and Tennessee, the weather's fairly decent there. So you're for eight of your games, you're in your own building and for three other games. So that's eleven games. You're in you're in a pretty friendly environment. Think that plays into the decision. Also this in the land of the NFL if you wanna weigh in three three two three seven seven six we're doubling it after club dob club kick the bears are opening up their club butt kicking contest for the off season. And I would assume that Ryan pace is going to just bring in a bunch of that or ends. He's gonna scout a bunch of collegiate guys. And then they'll probably decide on one veteran in one collegiate guy and let them compete in the offseason last Robbie gold surprises them and says, I don't care. I don't care about the money. I care about kicking for the bears. Shock me by vote was for.

"Outside goose island. There did you stick around? You were the first guy in line to try use slept went straight up and came right down. We've heard yours. Did you stick around and watch some of these other contestants? Oh, yeah. Absolutely. After it happened. I wanted to go. So my family I came down to support man. Some of my friends we just kind of laughed about it for a little bit. I want to go put back on my warm clothes, and I stuck around for a little bit. See if anybody can make it. I notice a couple people should have an eagles jerseys. Yeah. There's a I saw that. I didn't see that one live. But I saw the eagles fan that did it. He also fell. And then. His one it only it went two or three feet. I mean that was totally humiliating. No. Yeah. The things out. And I'm glad it was an eagles fan. So did you did you practice the day before once you heard about this promotion, I think we talked about it on the air at some point last week in goose silence PR department put those together did you go out to a field and take a take a few shots? Yeah. Me and my buddy. We wanna now at one time. And then one of my friends that I was interested and wanted to give it a shot. I went out with him. But he didn't end up coming out to practice. A little bit was any alcohol involved at any time. Not before kick and afterwards. Did you just did you get a little consolation maybe inside a twelve ounce or sixteen ounce? Yeah. "If they were gonna nail the forty three yard field goals Saturday during the goose island beer companies marketing stun, we thought for sure Zach would be able to its Zach Liskevych. And he was there early. You got there. What six seven hours early before the contests, and you were first up, and I let me play for our listeners. Hear the audio of the video that has now gone viral. And then you can explain exactly what happened. Here we go. Zach. That looks like it hurt. And it looks like it left. A mark. Oh, you know, what I'm actually doing pretty, okay? The funny thing is I actually broke. My army earn my wrist this summer. So I was actually a little bit more worried about that mid air than anything to be honest with you you hung in mid air. I mean, it was slippery out on Saturday. And none of the one hundred kickers were allowed to shot at winning a lifetime of beer or a years worth of beer, you kicked in highschool at Fenwick. Right. So you were ready to go and get the early win. This thing. Oh, yeah. I was ready to go. I had I was interesting. You talk situations in high school that I pulled through it. So I was reading it happens. I know I can make the kicks. I slipped. Slept. I mean. This whole thing was raped by goose island. They everybody slept. Yeah. I mean, it was the weather was there. You can't look blame them for that. They didn't know that was going to happen. I think I'm pretty decent conditions. I'm pretty confident I could have done that. And I'm sure a couple of other people would have probably made it. Let's listen to a couple of near misses. So they say..

"It was an absolutely wonderful weekend on so many levels with Mike senior getting the Walter camp man of the year. Ward, my junior doing his part for the team and coming up short and far left on the goose island and the rest of us, just you know, plugging away watching football having a good time. And then there's the whole Kyla immerse situation, which is fascinating. Oh. We'll get into that. Because the as are upping the ante. And I'm not sure it's going to be enough all said and done for the Heisman Trophy winner. Who's deciding between whether to enter the NFL draft, which he has to make that declaration by today or stick to baseball where he's going to be looking at maybe fifteen million dollars just to stick around and play baseball. So there's a lot to get into their. But listen, if we're if we're being honest about ourselves on the weekend or the patriots and Tom Brady everything in the league is setup. So so what they're doing should not be happening mean free agency the draft all the rules aren't salary hearts out. Everything is set up. So there can't be a dynasty like the dynasty were seeing and with the blow it, and I mean, it was a blow the dog in the final score cheap meaningless touchdowns when the game was out of reach. It was thirty five to seven at the half. See you later ballgame in all that was one close game. And that was the eagles and the Saint exactly so with them moving on where they will play the Kansas City Chiefs. In Kansas City with future hall of Famer Patrick Mahomes soap AFC championship game. That means Tom Brady has now in its thirteenth AFC championship game and their eighth straight. So we tried to put that in some sort of perspective, and I've got to give I'm reading the words here. But I gotta get the tip of the cap to a guy worked with for a lot of years on NFL ibn researcher John Perelman, who by the way is that guy. He's from New Hampshire. He could not be more of a TB twelve point. He's all in he's. But he's been all instance, like the Steve Grogan era. Okay. Right. So Mack Herron. Look it up kids. He's been around for a while like before they were fashionable. So parallel has been all in for a while. But if you take away two thousand eight which I think is a fair thing to do because Tom Brady blew out his knee in the first game one. So he didn't even play off a half of a game that year. So we're talking about years as a as a starter. Tom Brady is now made the AFC championship game in thirteen of his seventeen years as a starting quarterback for the New England Patriots in the NF. NFL that's a percentage of seventy six and a half percent. So let's put it in some sort of perspective in other stats the highest completion percentage of any qualified quarterback in the history of the NFL is drew Brees this year who completed seventy four point four percent of his passes. In other words, Tom Brady is more likely to appear in an AFC championship game. Then any quarterback in the history of the NFL is to complete a pass. Oh, wait kids. There's more. Lebron James career free-throw percentage is seventy three point two. Tom Brady is more likely to appear in an AFC championship game. Then LeBron James is to make a free throw. And there's more a lot more. It goes on and on and on the Red Sox. The two thousand eighteen Red Sox were to win a home game at seventy percent winning rate. I love this one. You talked about. The the completion percentage of seventy four percent, then let's talk about an actual completed pass of five yards downfield or less. Yeah. So a nice easy pass us five yards or less down. The field was completed seventy three point seven percent of the time this year. So Brady has a better percentage than that. It's a polling. It's appalling. But I know the one that's going to be most near and dear to you. Golf trae gets too high five football trae on this one. He is more likely to be in the AFC championship game than any PGA golfer was to make a putt between five and ten feet last season. As in lead that with sixty six point two percent. These are insane. If you think about it it, oh, by the way. What do we say about a penalty kicks? You gotta make those them in last year's twenty eighteen for World Cup for the men penalty kicks, including shootouts, they made it seventy point six percent of the time. Tom Brady is going to the AFC championship game seventy six and a half percent of the time. It's ridiculous Zion. Williamson who we all love. He's the next big thing. In college basketball, going to be the next big thing in the NBA. He is a beast, especially around the bucket in the paint. He's seventy four point one percent field goal shooting in the paint. Tom Brady is making the AFC game seventy six and a half percent of the time. I know a lot of you are going to say, well, it's team. It's not just Tom Brady. Tom Brady has been the constant the amount of different players. He has played with the no seventeen years as a starter. And oh, by the way, not hall of fame players. I mean, he's played with he'll basically played with two right at the end of the day. Randy moss for that incredible year. Yup. And rob gronkowski. You're gonna go. I'm trying to think anybody AB Richard similar is gonna to be defensive defensively. Maybe you get closer. I mean, there's a lot of very good. They're like teddy Bruce talking hall of Famer talking hall of famers. And in fact, he just did not play a lot of hall of famers. Maybe Rodney Harrison j you know, what's amazing is when you think about the way the patriots have been structured because the reason they've been able to do all this is Tom Brady his average salary. This year was fifteen million dollars. However, you want to slice it. And I know it ends up more than that. Like the way they have managed to gain this. With Tom Brady's constant ability to take less has afforded them the opportunity to build a team around him. But they have built it was stars. They go out and they pay somebody else. The turnover on those eighth straight AFC championship games. If you look at the roster from eight years ago to now is incredible. They just recycling through all the time. And all those numbers were stats. Incredible. Brought to you by my computer career dot EDU training for a better life. Speaking of training for life. One athlete has all the power and all the leverage and he's willing to use it..

"I have a feeling that maybe down the road you'll see a local option, but I wouldn't hold your breath on that. And let's be honest if you're drinking craft beer are you really eating Pizza Hut. I don't know about that. But we'll sing. That's that's just an interesting thing coming from pizza and then finally talking about big beer goose island earlier this week. Talked about how you know the bears loss to the eagles last week in the NFL playoffs. The kicker parking missed this forty six yard field goal to end the game. Turns out it was. But now goose island wants to give football fans a chance to make that field goal. So if you go to the brewery if you not if they're going to build a field goal. But, you know, kicking stanchion whatever. And if you knocked down a forty three yard field goal. They're going to give you free beer for year. Which I think is interesting now again, I'm not the biggest fan of goose island. Yes, I do by my bourbon county stout. When it comes out as to the rest of their offerings. No. And we'll get into some stuff with goose island a little bit later at including the article about this goose island promotion that I posted a lot of fun responses will read some of those responses on the program coming up, but we're coming up on a break. So I didn't want to give this short shrift. We'll talk about it in the coming segments. But so goose island is basically saying you come after the brewery you kick a field goal. Forty three yards. You get free beer for year. One buddy of mine whose name I will not mention said if he wins could he just, you know, give back the beer and get a couple of bucks out of it. We'll see I don't know. Promotion that goose island wants people talking about them and they've succeeded in Josh no for those of you don't know where we replayed his interview a couple of weeks ago on the program wrote a great piece about Anheuser Busch. And what they're doing to try and corner the craft beer market in terms of the communication that goes out about crappier, and they seem to be exceeding. We'll put that link up. It's an interesting story. Definitely want to check that out when we come back after a short break, more news and notes. And of course, we'll have later on the program. "Now is he's got the hookup goose island up promotion. Still on they have they publicized this where this thing is going to be huge to me again atom of Dallas. But is the. So you can show up to goose island. If at Fulton I'll read the rules right here. They posted them. You must be twenty one to enter you. Get one kick you have to attempt a thirty five forty three yard field goal. The sign ups begin at twelve noon. The first kick will be at one o'clock on Saturday. It's at eighteen hundred west Fulton Street, which is just over here in the west loop area by the United Center, and the winner must it's all that stuff. And then that's it. That's anybody who makes it as anybody. For a year. Anybody who makes it? I mean, if you're a college kicker, and you like here, you should just go over there could make a forty three yarder. Well, you have to think about I mean, you're kicking on concrete. You're going to be doing it. They have like a if you've ever been there. They have a big open area in between them and the next building. They hold events there all the time. So it's a very wide area it's wider than an alley. So they have a field goal set up. And they whoever they have it in the ground. It's probably like a bucket of cement, or whatever they use the first person who did it hit the post. Tweeted me that if you hit the post, you should get free beer for life. Harto can replicate the double d we don't want to ever. We don't want to. We don't want to rewards you for for. Here. Yeah. Forget the today show park, you should show up to this. And do this. What's up free for a year? So you can get a practice to the first time you kick. When one kick for person twenty one I could I could make a thirty yard or probably think I've probably used to practice like goofing around. I think I think I've actually kicked a thirty or thirty five yard at one point. Now is this. He he's holding or just somebody hold it for. Yeah. You have one of those, you know, those things that holds the football. Right. And this is back when I was in my mid twenties. I would tear a hamstring. Now. Have you guys ever missed a forty three yarder? I've never tried to forty. You've never missed a forty ever. If you've never attempted it you've never missed it. So we're all of you. We've never missed. So let's let's go this week after the tide took it on the same. I'll say which I give him credit for but I asked. Yeah. That's also back thing. I sense a little more salt. Oh, you do. Yeah. That's possible. I don't know if that's possible. All right. So here's the poll question. I've never seen this before. We usually get up on a poll question that people like on Twitter or they want to vote on when I usually put up a poll question on Twitter and a good day. We'll get ten thousand votes, and that's in a twenty four hour period. So that's twenty four hours from the time. We send it out sometime in the two o'clock hour does it pull disappear after a full day. You cannot vote on it. You could go back to it in reference the results. Gotcha. You just can't vote on it again. Evaporate. You set the time. But the the preset is twenty four hours. So that's all I'm on default. I'm on the preset. So the question is how do we have nearly six thousand votes in about forty minutes since it's been up. I put this up to twenty two twenty two is when it was up nearly six thousand votes so far on Twitter. And I was talking to Jon Greenberg from the athletic last night during the bulls game. He was he asked me the question. He said do I remember if there's ever been another bowls player like Jabari Parker? We're in the same year that he signed a megadeal Jabari got twenty million dollars in in a matter of just games. He went from a twenty million dollar free agent to being the last guy off the bench. Jabbari doesn't get in any game under any circumstance. Shack Harrison gets into games. You know, what I mean, the the some of the guys that they're just that are two way players getting Jabari Parker, doesn't he was what the second overall pick a beliefs. He was given twenty million dollars team option for next year. So the question, and so then I responded. Okay. Well, it's a good question in your part. But is he even the worst free agent signing of two thousand eighteen and when you think about it. There are at least four big time bus. And let me give you the layers. Okay. And then are you can I and I gave I gave him for chat would Darvish Parker parkey in alphabetical order. I would ask you as I decide and I haven't voted yet. Which signing. Was most. Most important. And what had the mode which one had most expectations. I guess that's not the right way to say. My vote. My vote would be Darvish because for a number of reasons. A this was an enormously. Fiscally. Constraining deal as we have found out. You got nothing from him. Which means the performance that you needed from him didn't exist and the reverberations of signing him. You're feeling right now because you haven't had the opportunity to spend free agent cash because it was all given a lot of it was given Darvish and it hasn't worked. Right. Would you look at chat would end Darvish. You look at their failure rate in eighteen and you look at it like you said still reverberating because of those deals thirteen million per year for chat would. And then whatever Dr what is what is Darvish is twenty three twenty six something like that. That's then you know, almost forty like forty million dollars that they would have to sign Bryce Harper. Well, you know what I mean? But I I don't even think I mean, they're they're good choices. But I would never choose chat with over Darvish because Darvish was making more money. More was expecting Darvish and his contract has caused you probably more fiscal pain than the chat would deal. But here's the flipside of Darvish and not chat would Darvish had a bad eighteen and Darvish is still hurting you in free agency this year, but he still has the potential to be the best of this list. He's still could make the biggest impact could of he could be the the World Series MVP this year for all. We know you're right or he could continue to cause you free agency pain for the next several years through true. But I still have hope that Darvish coming back from injury can still be a horse in the cubs. Bullpen. Bullpen in their starting rotation. I said horse. Yes. So that's why the Darvish thing is sort of a it's a puzzle there. It's costing you in eighteen and nineteen see, but he still has the potential to be one of their big players this year. Now, the the them don't know, you're right. The bulls signing of of Parker really has not wasn't gonna have an enormous impact on the overall. You know prospect of the team they don't shot to win to begin with. And there's no commitment pass this year. Correct. So I don't think he's he it's almost like a non entity to me he didn't cause any cost. You anybody that you were about to sign because you decided on him you decided to sign him for twenty million dollars as opposed to possibly buying a bad contract and receiving a draft pick in return. Right. So I'll I'll cross out Jabari. Now, just say that's more bowl. Silly only. The bulls can go from signing a guy for twenty million in a couple of months later. He's writing he's the last guy off the bench. And and look I would for me would come down to Darvish and party because chat would even that. And I don't not wanna spend anyone's money, but you could almost write that money off as well. Still thirteen years. I got it. But you are a big market team with a number of new revenue. Streams you should be. If you're thinking of throw a strike. I know, but you should be able to write that one off. Okay. So then you're going between Darvish parkey. And right now, I would say Darvish because I think more Darvish was a bigger. More was expected of garbage. I think than parkey, although that, you know, I mean, obviously, you trusted parking with a ton for sure what's the biggest tangible net loss of the four. Is it parkey because of his mess? They lost. But but I could say to you. I mean, the cubs didn't get past the brewers because Darvish wasn't available. They didn't win the division because Darvish was never available. They didn't get to the NFL CS again because Darvish was never available. So here's the way, it's going. Parkey kicked three field goals in that game gave you nine points. I'm just saying I think the worst dump the largest trying to talk my opinion is by Pinon. I'm not ripping you the worst take from the entire game is the bears should've let the Philadelphia Eagles score. Yeah. We we've been through that this week. The second worst take that. I've heard people opine this week is that Cody parkey scored their three like he scored nine points and was three for three those layups. He he made thirty yard field goal. I think. The people that and I interpreted some people did nothing good this game. But my interpretation of some people mentioning that is that this guy accounted for nine points. Yeah. They were layoffs. What the hell was your offense during the day were only able to count for a touchdown over three in the red zone. If he was forty eight forty two and fifty one I'd be like, all right? Cody parkey made some really tough field goals. Cody parkey may chip shot field goals 'cause the offense failed. It's hand in hand. I think you can save forty-three in most instances just outside the barrier of a chip shot in the NFL these days three one two three three two three seven seven six. So if you want to weigh in on that you can vote on Twitter. I'm my handle Waddle and Silvy George you're on ESPN one thousand one time Georgie guys thinking as the executive team until you get somebody to replace him. I'd be looking for the next Yanni. Kicker. I was watching the bucks game last night. They got him out of the second-string out of Europe. There's gotta be a kicker out there. But you gotta find somebody. I who are you talking about Janice? Well, yeah. Yanni's on the buck. I mean, he was like they found him. You know, why can't we find a kicker lottery? Pick lottery pick first rounder mid I was top fourteen. I think he was like thirteen or fourteen. He wasn't in the mainstream fifteenth fifteenth over on the first round in two thousand thirteen. Yeah. George. Thanks me. Listen, I think that's compared to the bears finding it. I think what he's saying is is you know, if you have a good scouting department. You're good at your job, you can identify people that might not necessarily be at the top of everybody's list. And I think that that's been the point that you have made and others have made all along. Why haven't Meller has talked about is why can the eagles identify Jake Elliott. Why can the Kansas City Chiefs? Find a way to draft Harrison butt-cover go back to the Brad big stats since two thousand sixteen bears kickers collectively at Soldier Field of hit approximately seventy four percent of their field goals. Conversely opponents who come into Soldier Field since the start of two thousand sixteen collectively have approximately ninety four percent of the kicks. Why are we consistently getting it wrong? Why are other teams consistently getting it, right? At least in our building. Cairns in Pennsylvania. You're on ESPN one thousand eight Karen. Hey, guys, thanks for taking my call. I agree with everything you guys are saying about parking. And I guess it was like forty minutes ago. Waddell said is you know, the further away we get from the game a little bit more forgiving him. But I'll never forgive him. Because it was such a devastating feeling but after some reflect on the whole season if fuller just would have caught that pass from Rodgers on the first game there we'd be in the postseason right now. We would have had that by if we just would have beat Miami. Or the giants are so many little things all we needed was one more win, and we would have had to buy. We'd be playing this weekend. I can't I said this yesterday, thanks for the call. Karen? And somebody else brought that up. I can't go that far back. I just I can't allow myself to go back and play the what if game that far back, but I can't allow myself to go back to the game on the lakefront on Sunday and play the what if game, and again, I'm like hair, and I'm not suggesting I'm ever going to not I'm not going to absolve Cody parkey for missing a forty three yard field. But the further I get away from it. I guess. The shock factor starts to wear off a little bit. And I start to focus more on the other stuff. Ten guys on the field and crunch time. You're the number one defense in Lee bad penalty by Adrian, ammos, you allow the team to go sixty yards on you and crunched us one offense. Touchdown Pat O'Donnell, you kicked a thirty five yard or when we needed to most. Yep. I mean, that's all this stuff. It kind of waters down the parking miss. If you know what I'm saying. None of it's good. It just starts to bring all of the other things that I told you multiple areas the feeling I think most after the game early on Monday was they just didn't. They didn't have their best game across the board in crunch was this in essence, the bears beating themselves. I know you always you're always will say all give the eagles credit, but the bears beat themselves. Yes. With all the things you just mentioned with Amos with O'Donnell with parkey with with the conservative game. Pine to four thousand conversion. Was actually one I got on that bandwagon. Yeah. It was thirty nine that..

"What do you know where Joanna works? Everybody. Standing around looking at this giant animal in the lobby and this guy. I mean, he had an appointment. I suppose nowhere Joanna works. And I need I'm getting some checked out today. It is almost like it's not something you see every day. But it's not that big L is just you know. I don't think so. There's a lot of. Thank you. She goes right back to the most back to moose watch. That's great. That just made me laugh so hard when I was watching this video because it is pretty stunning to see the shine animal in the in the entry way there. But then just like, hey, do you know where Joanna's do? I have the right address. Is this the right play? Yeah. That's right address. Maybe third floor. I dunno. Check it out. It's almost like the camel commercial one day is it. Just part of the scenery there. This isn't about a moose. It is about goose goose island beer. Did you see what they're doing? Oh, yeah. For Cody parkey, Cody parkey, you didn't know who he was. Right now, he's become like this household name because he hit the upright and then the crossbar and the bears loose. Yes. And yes, by the way. Yes. It was a blocked kick. Yes. But no one's going to remember it that way, which is unfortunate. But anyway. Goose island beer is saying free beer for a year. If you could kick a forty three yard field goal. I love that. Because they're defending him right there saying you can't do this. All these armchair kickers. Are suddenly thing that well every chip shot for everybody. I don't know, man. I guess I mean, why are they really doing it? Yes. And it's working and we're feeding right into it. But I think there might be more backlash now because your armchair guy can do it. I mean, they're always going to say that's his job. That's his job. I do my job that's his job. But it's also these guys that say kicked in high school that maybe weren't good enough for college. Which is most of them. You know, there are plenty of those guys out there in maybe they haven't kicked it a few years, but they can hit a forty three yard or if they went back and practice for a day, but still for the amount of people that can do it free beer for a year. It's great promotion. I'm gonna I need to go out to the.

"Oh, man thinking a lot about it all the time. I know I live they've had like three winning seasons of my wife me. Yeah. And I think the reds have one one series. All right. Yes. Yes. All about I think some emails from the game with all sixteen games this year. I say, yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. It's a good time. But here's the thing everybody. I'm fired Marvin. Five years too late. Moore's I don't know like I expect him to hire new accent. And like I obviously don't want that. I agree with you. The enemy would definitely be my number one. But like. Mike brown. So like I've already convinced myself rationalize in my head. And it's like, oh, well, maybe it won't be that bad. We have Jackson, which I know, you know, who fan base. Yes. Won't be that upset because I know Mike Brown eggs happen. But I think we have a healthy. It's all about walk a little bit. Because we have a really good Rosser where we say healthy. We could be contenders. You know, just like are we to win a playoff game in my lifetime? Like, I I still don't marry. It's it's rough out there, man. Really is. I feel the pain. Oh, great. Will it be though, like the reds everyone in the World Series the Bengals World Series, the next like awesome? You got that? Hey, alex. You're the man good hearing from you. Thank you have a good night. I think the more I think about this on the fly. I'm processing multiple things at the same time in my head hurts. I don't think I'd give up a third round pick. I think I'd give up a fifth round pick. I might give up a fifth and a seven I might give up multiple. I don't think I'd give up a third. I mean, that's awfully that's rich as they say that's a top one hundred pick up a fifth fifth. Now, you're talking one fifty one sixty range somewhere around there. I think give up a fifteen and maybe more in our make believe made up trade. A by the way. Have you heard what they are doing at goose island beer in Chicago. You know, the bears kicker. Cody perky is taken all kinds of crap for the the field goal. That was actually tipped goose island. Beer company is willing to give a bears fan a year supply of free beer if he or she can make a forty three yard field goal. In fact, they tweeted the following yesterday. A lot of armchair kickers on here meeting their Twitter feed are saying that they could kick that field goal, which we find doubtful. You're gonna sit there on your throne, a potato chips in vape, pens, and criticized this dudes athleticism, get real. So you know, what we're gonna do build a dang field goal post in the middle of the street outside our brewery, and all you pro athletes can come out and prove us wrong. So get this goose island beer company this weekend during normal taproom hours. You'll have a chance to show off your kicking leg. If you hit a four. Thirty three yard field goal. You'll win beer for a year any ternal glory. They write that from goose island beer company in Chicago. By the way, if anybody knows how to get my hands on the there is a brand of goose island beer that I cannot find anywhere around here. I had it at a place called burger story. Casey. And I were in Indianapolis for Pacers and heat. There's a burger place just down from bankers. Life called the Bruce story Bruce story. Excellent burgers. Anyway, I had a beer goose island beer call.
