predict he will be convicted there is no deterrent value to this entire exercise and by exercise i mean the criminal investigation the indictment and the trial think think about it if he's a sentence "Open wound that was a vulnerability, especially because there's so much uncertainty around it. And then I think the second thing they need to do and this is important as well is that they need to get control of their company again. And you'll appreciate this, but Tucker was not quite at Rush Limbaugh level. Yeah. But he was sort of filling the center of gravity left by Rush Limbaugh in the right wing echo chamber William bought died. And that is a significant point of influence. So talk about wasn't too big to fail yet, but he was rapidly becoming too big to fail. Yeah. I'm not sure how big a factor calling your boss the C word is, but around here we call that Tuesday. Yeah, actually, one of the stories about that, which is incredible as he called somebody else to see word in these text messages. He called everybody. And again, I think this is part of he did. And fox's legal team redacted this during the during the discovery process, like they said, well, let's redacted it's not relevant, you know? And Tucker called their head of legal. And said, no, no, no. I want the world to know I called her that. Unredacted. And he was fighting with fox's own legal team to get that unredacted so people could see that he was calling these people this he was. He thought it was he didn't want to ride back and that I also think is a part of this is that one of the things Tucker did, not just in the wake of 2020, but also in the process of this dominion case is that he was talking to via din a lot at fox who's there sort of like had a legal but he has this very large role in large footprint and Tucker was fighting with him all the time. And he's a really significant part of sort of the Murdoch confidence sort of team and I think if you're him, you're realizing, wow, this guy is getting really big for his bridges. I was just sick he's uncontrollable, you know? I was gonna say what? It's not just on air. What a den of vipers. You tweeted so Fox execs got a record of HR violations misconduct and other firewall offenses, and instead of doing anything about it, they let Fox taff endure these issues on the off chance they needed to blackmail Tucker one day. This isn't the only they think it is. And you said seriously, though, Fox leadership announced that they kept a record of Tucker's misconduct and didn't do anything about it. This actually breaking my brain how truly tough this is. Yeah. Yeah. Off of research on their own employees, right? They did. And that is an idea that they knew about it. Sat on it all this time. I've understand keeping some up. I can appreciate that to some degree, but yeah, then there's identified vipers. They were keeping opposition research to deploy it against them. And that, you know, I mean, look, that is environment that is Fox News. And it is rotten to the core, it's not a news operation. It's a political operation. We see similar kind of like backstabbing right when a campaign goes bad. And especially like a relief like toxic republic, psych each other. Yeah, it's not that surprising, but they're not a news operation. Angela, I gotta say, though, no one's gonna take my joy. I know they'll just get another lunatic, but I do think this is some measure of accountability. You said on Twitter, you said texture is toxic and uncontrollable. He's continued pushing election misinformation white nationalism while conspiracies he wanders Jones InfoWars nonsense on a regular basis. And the last thing you tweeted, you said one more thing, Tucker is also a ticking time bomb among the maga portion of the fox audience. Think of all the stuff he said about Trump and the dominion revelations eventually the fox audience would see it. Going to be interesting to see what happens now. I mean, obviously there initially looked like they were losing a chunk of ratings and newsmax went up this week. What do you think happens to the right wing echo sphere now? I think that the right wing media is potent because not just its size, but because as you know, it's an echo chamber. And if you don't have, if you don't have a conductor for a course, what you basically have is a lot of disorientation and confusion. You have what we saw during the Kevin McCarthy fight. Where you have factions sort of leveraging their influence to then leverage some parts of the Republican Party and it kind of creates chaos. Well, Tucker's sort of provided was some he used Fox News as position to take leverage agenda setting power. It was filling the Limbaugh void. And without Fox News, Tucker, I don't care how big his audience get, I really don't care. He will never be able to exert the influence that he had at Fox. That's just a fact. I just don't care. And so one, it's funny that he got fired. It's too, it actually is a big deal in terms of the significance and the destructive power that Fox News have. We have to think about the potential here. And that is great. And the third thing is, is that fox's audience is going to capitalize them. I can feel glue somewhere between 20 and 30% of their audience permanently as a result of this. You have to hold between this and smartmatic and tuckers for that there is going to be some degree of accountability because as you say, I just, there's many of us. Me included that we've lost friends and family and whatever to this poison. Yeah, in our body politic that is Fox News. They have killed millions of people in my opinion with COVID misinformation. They I ask Glenn kershner, shouldn't they also be prosecuted for January 6th for the incitement of violence. I wonder what else is coming down the pike for Tucker in terms of January 6th, accountability, but it couldn't happen to a nicer network as my point. I know. And it's ultimate people that deliver the sort of like the death blow. And that's the part of God that I think is going to give me pleasure is that once they sort of, because as we saw at the minion and this is where it all comes full circle, fox's audience has an appetite now. And you said the only thing standing between Trump and a federal conviction is the federal indictment. Come on, Jack, let's roll, because justice matters. And you know, it really does begin to just make a mockery out of the fact that DoJ hasn't charged him for any of his crimes because he continues to commit crime after crime. For instance, you tweeted chief a judge beryl Howell on seals order directing representative Scott pardon me, Perry's cell phone disclosed to federal prosecutors because justice matters. All of these people that were involved in this and ask for pardons, you know, what is your take on where these indictments are going to go ultimately? I hope Jack Smith goes big and broad and wide and sweeping the Scott Perry development is actually pretty important because, you know, first of all, a judge concluded there was evidence of crime in Scott Perry's phone. So the phone was seized the prosecutor Seth have never looked at what's in that phone. Instead, they did the right thing. They handed it off to chief judge barrel Howell. They said, in the event, any of this enjoys feature debate privileged judge, we want you to look at it. Here's what Perry said. Perry said, yeah, you're darn right. 2200 of my emails and text messages have enjoyed speech or debate privilege and the prosecutors can never look at them. You know what judge barrel Howell said? Yeah, no. 2000 and 55 of the 2200 you claimed our privilege have absolutely no privilege. What does that tell you? That tells you stuff that when we see those messages, we're going to see precisely why Scott Perry asked for a pardon because he committed crimes and he wanted to get away with them. Here's another name, chuck grassley, that you tweeted about. It's also The Rolling Stones story he's in. They call him conspiracy curious that he's involved somehow with these. Fake whistleblowers and you said senator grassley said he would be presiding over the J 6 proceeding because Pence would not be available. I assume Jack Smith is investigating this to assess grassley's role if any in the conspiracy to defraud the United States. And now grassley's prattling on about hunters laptop. I mean, as you also tweeted, you were on Nicole Wallace talking about in 2023. America's adversaries are Americans. They are the power brokers now, right in Congress. It used to be we would investigate foreign adversaries. And now our adversaries in 2023 are Fox News, a former chief of staff to the president of the United States, Mark Meadows, a treasonous congressman Scott Perry, a former president who is a criminal who tried to overthrow our election. And it's horrific to say that America's adversaries are Americans now, but that's what we're contending with. That's true. Yeah. No, it's true. Well, I mean, I'm gonna stay happy clappy. You said Trump's unhinged ransom prosecutors like Jack Smith and foney woolen signal Trump knows what's coming, and he's powerless to stop it. So what is what is he really trying to accomplish by attacking Willis and Smith? I mean, I mean, I don't know. To try to figure out why Donald Trump does anything, I guess, is a fool's errand, right? Yeah, but and I talked a lot about Jack Smith, but let's remember the first one out of the indictment shoot may very well be district attorney party Willis, and I do think history will look very fondly on Bonnie Willis and ultimately Jack Smith and other prosecutors who do the really hard and unprecedented work of holding a former president accountable for his crimes against the United States. You said grandeur did nothing wrong by giving interviews about Trump criminal investigation as the Georgia state court judge explains. And that's what you told us last Friday, which calmed us down. I don't know what you happened to see SNL, you know, the Trump character, you know, they had her on there and then the Trump character says, well, they almost had me, and then she started talking. And I was like, oh. I know this is a comedy show and not Glenn kershner, but I think that's what we're all nervous about, right? Is that one thing goes wrong? And it stops justice from coming. Yeah, you know what? There will be some bumps along the way. Once the indictments start dropping. And I've said this all along and I believe it now more than ever. Once the first brave prosecutor steps up and indicts Donald Trump, trusts me, Seth, I know prosecutors. Every other prosecutor who believes they have a charge to bring against Donald Trump will feel like, oh, wait, wait, wait, wait. Me too, me too. I can't be made to look bad. Not that that's what drives our prosecutorial decision making train looking good or looking bad, but they're going to have to step up once the barrier is broken. You know, I can't imagine John fetterman doing anything in his Senate career that could have the impact that his public announcements had. There are men who will be less afraid to ask for help because of the brave example, John fetterman said, and these cowards, these unmanly little bitches who hide their names and faces on Twitter to go attack his manhood when the guy had a stroke and kept on running for Senate after a stroke. The good people of the Pennsylvania said, you know what? We'll take betterment with the stroke over Doctor Oz, on his best day. And then he actually he could have lied. He could have said, oh, I'm exhausted. Oh, I've developed a dependency on painkillers. He could have said anything, but he said, no, I'm going to get treated for depression 'cause I have a stroke and I'm recovering. Right. Yeah. And we will never be able to measure how many lives that might have saved. There have been other senators who have sought treatment for depression. I don't know of any who did it publicly. "We could literally have our rights to vote taken away from us and our votes nullified by Republican controlled state legislatures, but John, it goes back to a super majority in the House and the Senate because then there can be federal election law protection that does away with this concern and we can up the number of the Supreme Court Justices by legislation get us to 13. We now have 13 federal jurisdictions. There should be at least 13 judges. We have changed the number of the Supreme Court Justices from a low of 5 to a high of ten many times in our nation's history. It can be done again. It needs to be done again, and that can be accomplished with a super majority in the House and Senate. There are so many things we can accomplish if we just get out and vote. But how do we get a super majority if they decertify everyone's votes? It's a chicken and an egg problem. I get it. But what I know is that if we don't get that super majority, we're done. And we got to do it now. Yeah, now we got to do it now. We got to do it now before next term when the Supreme Court gets its hands on a case that gives them the opportunity to basically take away our right to vote and turn it all over to Republican legislatures. I'm making out okay. Someone was saying in my chat earlier that Joe Biden is asking. Garland to stop being a judge and start being a prosecutor. Do you agree? Yeah, so I think the quotes that were attributed to President Biden through some of his close advisers unnamed, right? Anonymous, but multiple sources, according to the reporting, is that one Donald Trump is a danger to the democracy. Two, Donald Trump, quote, should be prosecuted, close quote. And that Merrick Garland should act less like a ponderous judge and more like a determined prosecutor. I like all of those things. I agree with President Biden on all counts. So the way I see it, John. You've got the American people, a super majority of the American people that are desperate for accountability for Trump's crimes. You've got the president of the United States who, if this reporting is accurate and can be credited, feels the same way. And then kind of squeezed right in the middle. You've got Merrick Garland's Department of Justice. I still believe they're working on it. You know, we find some reasons to be optimistic based on what we heard last week. But come on already, Lee, you got to get off the dime. You got to start charging the higher ups because we're burning democracy daylight here. I agree.
