"Trained sped into the crash saw it ahead. The first two passenger carriages of the 9 O one narrowly cleared the accident between metro link 100 and the freight train. Had it not been for the jackknife effect caused by the collision, metrolink 9 O one would have passed through the area unscathed. However, metro link 100 raked down the entire side of the final passenger carriage of the 9 O one, completely caving it in on one side. As the 9 O one was traveling at approximately 50 mph. The impact caused all three of its passenger carriages to derail and atop all over. An overhead signal tower also sustained damage. Falling and crashing on to one of the carriages. The brave from the three train wrecks spilled over into the parking lot of the nearby Costco. Employees emerged from the building and rushed to the scene armed with fire extinguishers. They desperately battled the flames engulfing the front carriage of metro link 100, which were reaching 20 feet high. A Costco employee retrieved a forklift from the warehouse to try to dislodge some of the wreckage to reach those trapped inside. Others risked their own lives, but directly pulling people from the wreck, which was so damaged at hardly resembled a carriage. When laking diesel fuel soaked their clothes, they were forced to weighs back or risk catching fire. Yet they managed to pull out one final victim before retreating. A man covered in blood and soot. All of these limbs appeared to be broken, and his face was charred black. As he was lifted out, the injured men profusely thanked his rescuers. He asked them to pray for him before closing his eyes. Minutes later, he passed away. He was one of 11 fatalities. 8 people had died on metro link 100. The remainder were on board metro link 9 O one. At 6 O 3 a.m., three short beeps came over the radio of the LAPD's northeast division. An announcement followed, explaining that there had been a train derailment at Glendale. Officers raced to the location. They were confronted by a thick cloud of smoke that rate of diesel fuel. It shadowed a chaotic scene. At dazed and frantic crowd had gathered in the parking lot of the nearby Costco. Almost 200 people bore injuries. Those in the worst condition were being wheeled around in store cards. Others were shaken, but able to walk. The adjacent train tracks were a mess of twisted and burning metal. Firefighters extinguished the accompanying blaze, allowing responders to retrieve the remaining passengers scattered throughout their crash site. They had sustained fractured bones, head injuries, lacerations, and in some cases, impalement from trying debris. The cause of the crash, the Jeep Cherokee, SUV, was near obliterated. Pieces of the vehicle were scattered over 300 yards. What was left of the jape's chassis was still lodged upside down under the burnt remains of metro link 100s front passenger carriage. Even though the vehicle's fuel tank was warped by heat, it remained intact. It contained almost 12 gallons.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell Gives an Election Integrity Update

"I just wanted to have you on the program today to kind of get an update because everywhere I go, people say, what's going on with the election and the different states, whatever. And my answer is always, I don't know. I have to ask Mike because you have been working tirelessly, giving generously out of your own pocket for the sake of this nation. And I want my audience to know. So where are we? What is happening right now? Well, first I'm going to put a little extra bizarreness to this before I tell you where we're at on everything. You know, as we have been going around meeting with every state, just I mean, I can it's a 30 some states already. We just met, this was three days ago, everybody, with Utah. Some politicians in Utah. We've put out everybody get ready for this. As a pilot project, they used in the 2020 election, a lower municipality voting or whatever. They allowed you to email in your vote or text it in. Excuse me, stop. You're joking. You're joking. No, I'm not joking. This is a true fact. They could email or text your vote in everybody. You know, this was a pilot. When I heard this, I was floored. I said, you gotta be kidding me. And I just want everyone to see where things are going in our country. I mean, that is, to me, is the most bizarre. I know my own emails get hacked on a daily basis. I can have trolls taxing me in the middle of the night when I'm when I'm a lot of times I'll just play with them. Go, hey, troll, how's it going? You know? You know you get some sleep like Glendale. Stop it. I'm okay, but here's where we're at. We've got we've got a we've got about 5 different things going on at the same time. The first one everybody's been asking me about is the Supreme Court complaint. Great news, everybody. Just yesterday, the final edits were done that the attorneys general wanted changes that they that they wanted. And they remember this is the people's report, but the attorney generals are the ones that are states. Let's just be clear. So people understand 'cause not everybody is following this right now, you have gone to the attorneys general of various states in America to put together a lawsuit. You learned from the one that was put together a month ago that the Supreme Court refused to look at it. They didn't look at it and reject it. They refused to consider it. Last year, yeah, so you said we're going to go back to the drawing board. We're going to do it again. We've learned from our mistakes, and this time we're going to put it in front of them again, and we're going to dare them to refuse to look at it because we're going to do everything they need us

He had this message. He was brave enough to talk about immigration. Which i hadn't seen anyone in our party do before and as someone who lives in california. I knew this immigration problem was not only affecting us but the entire country and he talked about it and he wasn't afraid and he talked in a language that people could understand. And so i got it. And i would start talking about it on the show that i was hosting at salem radio the jenin don show up time. That's where we met seb when through. Don dick's my partner on that program and so the program director at the station said you know you've been doing some fillon here. Like nineteen, Seventy, eight, seventy, nine, eighty at one. I really started pushing myself into the into the scene as best I could. It's all proven yourself in the beginning paying your dues you know you're not getting paid when you start out, it wasn't the solely for the money was the for the love of the whole thing. I always had a visual of capturing a great moment. You know whether it was in concert or meeting. Somebody in a hotel room that's what I started doing. Did you build a black and white dark room in your house? My father had a black and white dark room. Yeah. I didn't my house. I had a friend that helped me out a lot a couple of friends that end our rooms and I would bring my films as soon as I shot it the next morning I was there almost at the crack of dawn. We gotta get this process you know right away. That's awesome. You know would do the proof sheets and then big out of print I'd have sometimes I'd have to send something out right away most of the time in the beginning, it was just doing it and getting it done. So I could actually look at what I shot. That's all part of the beginning anyway trial and error is how you learn from a day to day thing you know 'cause I'm self taught I didn't go to school for it and I just I always wanted to do that. You know just take pictures because my father. Was, a newspaper man you were for hearst for the Herald, examiner in La A., and that's how I of got into it. When I was a kid was he would always take me down to the office I used to look at all the photos and the photo room with saga offers, and then I go to the pressroom and watch the paper roll off the presses at night with the greatest greatest experience you know the newspaper game sets how I got into want shoot black and white for falls. What was the first concert? You Shot Elvis Presley Whoa. Seventy six year before he died he he never he didn't come to L. A. and seventy-six closes. He came Long Beach Arena and I had tickets through a friend who is very well connected into Elvis and getting good tickets. So we had some really good seats and that time I think I'd be twenty five bucks to see John a few pictures. They didn't really come out that well. So that's why nothing has really been seen on that because I nothing came out that good at all.

"Hey. It's topcoats clips five, three four. Block on a busy July twenty, nine, twenty, twenty they about the rigor up producing contents. For creative media, students, Detroit animators, Enga- mark designers. Work Inside the Creative Campus Nick Glendale Ireland and I want to see if it's possible to set up lanes of academic depth. As well as to produce content on the fly with career students follow a rigor. Of expression. So. I start my rigor with words a word document that they can see that students can see in the form of a brief or mission objector. I use an Amazon model of not having more than two pages of my brace with hyper links. That goto examples of how the content might be done but start with tax, and actually that's how I started the blog post to with tex what you're hearing right now. Can Be, done text. Using transcription programs such as archer. Were audio. Bursts. The auditor Osher by product is always better than ninety percent for me when a use an external mic. I'm using the Mike Right. Now of the Samsung note nine and I'm not sure it'll be high enough quality to produces a transcript from the first go but you know this. It starts with words. In text form. Normally I have my students take those words and try to imagine how they might be presented as short clips of text information. Headlines titles. Key words, phrases, things that can be pushed out on twitter. Or on facebook or on Lincoln. And I tried to do that with all my semi compelling content. That could try to do that with every blog posts that I make on inside viewed I e. The. Point is this. Very few things you do. We'll get noticed if you don't offer them in places where people are already used. To read. Or to here to see. So, in today's world of socially connected people. Twitter facebook instagram linked in. Youtube. Those are all places that are common watering holes for for folks who are in my thought space. And most importantly. Most students have at least two those watering holes as places a look to see the spray Spiratou from folks that want to work with for jobs, they may want to get as creative interns or paid employees in the near future. So my goal is To get some form of process. which believe reaches the rigor of production. To put all this content in different media formats in different places. That's the rigor. And what I know is if I have students write some things down or sketch some notes out that they're gonNA end up with some really high quality learning on the back of it all. Is The kinesthetic to mention that seems to evolve. In other parts of my speaker content or on my blog, I've talked about offering people for different lanes of access to educational material starting with the techs. Access. Making sure. There are images or video clips. Allowing some of that stuff to occur live in HD format while also ensuring that there's an asynchronous method to rewind and play it back as slow or as fast as they want to. It's all part of the rigor of doing it right. You WanNa, follow my educational adventure using the Hashtag. Dig. PED- digital pedagogy. The PD you can check it out. I. Handle Top gold. "As, we look around. The country at mayors are coddling. These rioters, inviting more violence and to their cities. Here in Arizona. We have a number of mayors who aren't messing around the Mayor of Glendale. Jerry wires is one of them, and we welcome him to the center ring of the conservative circus mayor wires lasts less talk, public safety and when we talk about Linda. I know you don't WanNa get into the specifics because there are bad actors out there who who should know exactly what's going on. On there, but how are you approaching? The threat of organized violence and civil unrest well, thanks for having me on in in to get to your point quickly. You know our city takes us extremely serious. We have a lot of citizens, businesses and they also have rights yourselves to be protected so we have actually a command center within Glendale and it's been fully staffed. By all of our police first responders transportation every department we have because these type of things affect so many different departments and They're on top of it now. They're watching it closely. We did some things very early on posing roads down we were told. That Tanger in West Gate Cabela's Arrowhead those those were all potential targets, and we're talking very serious working very, and it's the most important thing working with the businesses They need to understand what's going on how it affects him, but they very very cooperative and we were able to. Basically have to quiet night Glendale and we're all praying that it continues that way. We saw a lot of damage and looting Scottsdale where it appeared that the police had simply decided to stand down after that night, the governor declared a curfew from eight to five am eight PM to five am and I'm wondering if that has been helpful to you and your efforts to protect Lindell, it It absolutely has in fact. Sunday early Sunday. Afternoon the governor's office. I called several of the West Valley mayors. Were on that call. He explained his concerns. What was going on and told us that within a couple hours that he was going to be notifying. Everybody was intent, and that's when he announced the curfew. You know I've heard from multiple sources that a lot of people didn't know I can tell you the majority of all of the West Billionaires that I'm aware we're on that. Call spoke. We've been in contact with each other and I. believe that all of us are very very thankful. Curfew I think it's been a huge opportunity for us to keep things going to control. Nobody wants you know. Nobody wants to this. Keep happening at the same time the people. That are protesting. Have that Shiva right to do that? It just needs to be peacefully without without damage and other people's property Jerry Wires is the Mayor Glendale. He's in the center ring. The curfew was actually written with some very broad expectations like driving to and from work or going to a private place of business, the sound like eating at restaurants. Sometimes it can be okay. Is there anything that the people of Glendale need to know about this curfew? And I think they'll find this pretty much everywhere, We, we don't have a problem with people protesting if it's done in a civil peaceful manner. At the same time we won't tolerate. any disrupt, and we won't tolerate damage or destruction to property, but people need to understand is They're not going to be bothered. They're not going to be hassled. From work to home or home to work you know there's a lot of exceptions within that, but if there's a large gathering of people in areas that's when we're going to start looking at that, and that's when we will enforce if necessary a fair enough, we see a lot of cities where they have really bad relationships between some communities in our local police departments mayor. What is it like in Glendale? How a your police department getting along with the city residents I well I. Think I think our police has done an incredible job I mean and I say that in officers and we we have for years had a thing. They call coffee with a COP. In in the police meets people all over the city at different locations. Sit Down and talk about the issues. you know find out what their concerns are If if they have any problems, it brings a quick attention to police department. you know the boots on the ground? The People that actually work those beats work with particular areas. They have a chance to get to know. The citizens citizens to get to know. The police in that trust is huge you know you can, you can build a trust. Within a citizen within their kids times the kids will come out until officers things that Maybe they wouldn't. If they know that officer is and know that they're trusting..

"Of the Glendale police department they're very fast reaction time in it again I want everybody to understand this is not normal this is definitely not normal we're dealing with somebody that obviously had issues mental issues I don't know exactly what the case was and so I don't really want to go any further now but it's not normal and the police department secured the scene while I was listening last night to the press conferences and and KTAR news was was covering it and the Glendale PD said right now our first responsibility is to secure Westgate to search for other victims to make sure that everyone's okay as professional as they could possibly handle it this is something that police officers trained for all the time and they're doing all kinds of scenarios in training all the time praying that they never have to use their training and it was flawless last night and then the Glendale PD was thankful to the other agencies that help them out but in the end you know the F. B. I. comes in a but in the end it was Glendale PD and securing Westgate and running in as everybody else is running out that to me to get my head around this for people this battle we have in our society about whether or not law enforcement are good people when the shots started going off everybody ran away they called the police and the police ran toward the gunfire I mean that right there tells you the job that they do but when this kid who had just fired off who knows how many rounds in a wounded how many people that point they don't know how many were wounded and yet the minute he raised his hands the violence was over they took him into custody peacefully and he's gonna be treated you know it can complete not guilty he's going to get a fair trial that's a civilized society so before we go any further with the emotions of what happened yesterday and what this roller coaster is gonna be like can we find out more about this guy the people that save lives yesterday the first responders deserve a big thank you from the community we are trying we're going to have I believe around nine thirty we're trying to confirm a time the Glendale PD the PO will join us to talk about last night and if you're just joining us coming up in a little over thirty minutes from now we're going to have a a groaning Britney who I happen to know her and her family since for twenty five years was at Westgate last night it was so close to becoming a victim it has me shaking this morning sort of talk to her just after nine o'clock in a moment the governor spoke yesterday are we going to open schools in the fall and where are we in phase one of opening up Arizona when you get to that coming up in just a moment now if you're looking to do something for your home there's a few things and people wanted you to check the box of the gonna do in home improvement number one is how does it improve the livability in my home number two does it add beauty and value to my home that's number two and number three how you know what's gonna cost what is it how much is it going to cost me AZ valley windows checks all three boxes number one the livability the noise reduction is immense keep the condition they are in your home number two and they're going to make sure that they do the right job the installation is got a warranty for it there is a lifetime installation warranty on their products and they do such.

"Is in Glendale California Hey Jim how are you I'm doing very well Dave how bout yourself better than I deserve what's up well basically I am looking at a pretty serious income problem right now just to give you some details I've been self employed for about seven years and the gig economy doing deliveries and things like that and I also lived in an apartment with some roommates one of the one of the roommates has moved out recently and and about the same time are lease has been renewed for engines gonna show my range of gone up from about five seventy five a month to about twenty and at the same time the company that I primarily work for and has been kind of slashing the amount of money that they have been paying us for each of our deliveries shall I used to be making about seven eight hundred dollars a week and now it's more like five or six hundred okay and I'm just trying to figure out like I know are you need to generate more income I just don't know I don't know where to look how old are you I'm thirty nine okay so what was your plan before this happened for your career what were you planning to like when you're forty nine are you still going to be doing deliveries now I went I went to school ID get aid to curry and television production but I just was never really able to land a job in that field and I essentially kind of survival mode with with bills and having to you know make sure that that I still had food on the table and stuff so I'm glad that I'm glad you're sure having out and then suggests that I was saying before but your plan was not to live the rest of your life in survival mode no one's social where you're going what's your tenure where you want to be in ten years that's that's the big issue is I don't really have a ten year plan at this point the ten year plan was to be working in the field I studied in that just it doesn't look like that's going to happen or maybe it manifests itself in a different way like a you tube setting or something like that and potentially honestly I'm starting to think maybe it's time for me to leave because I live I live in southern California and the cost of one gets just so expensive that here that's true and I feel like if if I'm not going to get work in the television field just mail inside of you find somewhere else in the country where it's less expensive to live in find another another career path okay that's fine the only issue with that at all it's not a bad plan at all the thing is you need a plan because what happened was you you you went into survival mode because you didn't land on your on your original plan and you stayed there and now this is god's kicking you out of the nest and saying you can't stay in survival mode I've got more for you to do than that right and so you will be you might have sat there for another five years and just kept delivering but this is your wake up call I think this is awesome it's a little scary I got that but it's it's also because I think you I don't think I don't think you wanted to be doing this this wall and I know you didn't want me doing it for another decade so I think you this is your dream time.

"A guy who committed a crime pulling them out of the car KZN works perfectly okay with what they had a problem with was him using his phaser weapon. as a. it's a clothing and hitting the man over his over the head with his taser causing him to believe in need stitches yeah I have if if you wanna see the body camera footage we've got up for your KTAR dot com it's it's hard to watch I I don't like anybody certain protected that got him in the well you know it's it's surprising to me because the guy was just sitting there you know you you the officer was checking on and then the officer awesome to get out of the car and and he does and so is this like a non compliance kind of thing in the officer starts pulling him out and then is his shirt gets caught on the side of the car and the officers still yelling get out get out is okay can I can and the song is multiple times it's it's similar to the one we saw over the guy had the seatbelt on and right well when you get sucked coming out yeah that was Glendale as well right and and then he's hit the back of the head several times with the taser and I'm like what is going to be blood on the ground for so the arm. the Glendale police department decided to to fire officer Carol but it but it wasn't because of this one instance there were there was a pattern they said of poor decision making that I got to a point where they no longer have confidence in his ability to be on the streets and and deal with stressful situations yeah that's scary it's it's scary and he needed to go. he needed to go. I'm just concerned about him resigning verses being fired because at that point in time it's a matter of can you just go to another department. and we asked you on the open Mike line six SO two two hundred two seven three three from law enforcement is it you know if you resign instead of getting fired is it easy to go on to another agency I'm not exactly sure question but this is what you guys had to say on the open Mike line hi I'm calling about your office is the generation it is definitely too easy for people to do things and resign from one department and brain go we'll get hired at another I think Phoenix police department here in Arizona is the absolute worst for that we don't even make them stay retired or resigned in lieu of anymore and that's the problem I don't know how to address it but it's because they're from the top and we need to be more transparent about this stuff it's like somebody on the inside the way we all I'm I got a I got a tweet Pamela tweeting as pitchforks at the gate final Twitter handle by the way there's a term for it gypsy cops why Google the gypsy cop is slang for a police officer frequently transfers between police departments often because of regardless or misconduct or poor unsuitable job performance so what happens so much they've got a name phone that's concerning cops you were so bad over here the higher you over here and not look into the reason why you're no longer an officer over there or you're not care I I I I don't know how to how to qualify any other way listen this might be one of the reasons why you think we're going to hang in a hand basket panelists is figure restore your faith in humanity.

"Over there yeah my treat coming up in a in a few minutes be careful the next time you go on a valley golf course they're like they're like death traps thank you all right so we've got a a lush cosmetics store in Glendale your big shopper there well listen Lloyd I appreciate Losh you know they've got that faced off the the cake on your face and I think they have a lot of those faces that you are I like the green stuff that I put on my face a middle makes me look on mud mask of mud mask you know and might be an LG now I'm partial to the rosy cheeks fresh face mask if your skin feels read or inflamed this mask may help calm and restore the skin there are five women that work at a Glendale Losh and you know these are all natural kind of you know products so they said you know what the five of us should go all natural Jeez Bally store causing quite the stir on the internet from those iconic basketball scented Scruggs and jiggly shower jellies I love the jangly shower gel or use spread south lot she's known for their all natural handmade products and they pride themselves on their naked packages but their products are the only ones that are bearing all why did five women in Glendale who are employees at large take their clothes off they had nothing better to do and wanted attention Monica because they're a little with who and what better way to represent package free than getting package for yourself the hot Superman T. morally do mais one of five plus you Louise from their Glendale location that stripped down for this photo posted on the store's Facebook page don't you love when you hear that on a radio posted this photo he said there in your car you like yeah I can't see it it was all part of what she's naked campaign and now it's going viral of course it's going viral everything goes viral so let's listen when you're naked yes well it's far and they've got like a small on or they've got like a lush what it will print apron thank you okay smock why you're the imprint why are they really doing this and and here's the thing here's what what I've figured out they're doing it to save the environment you know I'm not a big saving the environment guy and sorry I I just you know I think the environments fine it's a little self I know a little known a little a little bit you know if I see an aluminum can and it's you know it's only probably ticket no I won't kick it but I'll throw it out in the let's say closest a garbage can which might not be a recycle place yeah Mr environment how do you do with the paper straw I hoard straw I don't like the papers I hate paper straws but I hoard regular street I just use no strong so they want to see the environment so here's the thing if you get one of these bath gels or you know one of these things that they you're put in jail that J. goal are you get a bare skin fresh cleanser or the the dream cream handed by you'll use all those things I use a couple of them white you know I like my what room well they don't come in packaging that this is Dick Monique itself don't come in packaging right there totally naked so why are you trying to save the environment and promote no packaging if most of your stuff doesn't come in packaging yeah I don't understand because of when you walk by the store less you can easily see that the bars of soap or whatever there maybe it's they're not in packaging so I think this is just a marketing ploy a to go viral on the internet because I don't see any purpose in this gratuitous nudity because all you have to do is show the bars of soap and say look we don't believe in packaging and we believe in all natural product they still drop it in a bag though that has lost printed all over it yeah I just can't give up the bar and you walk out of the store we're never gonna stop giving away bags yeah you know I was in Europe you can get back yeah back it lets you pay for it the plastic bag Hey for a plastic bags like ten cents because I remember I can you put that in a bag well you'll have to pay for it how much you have to pay ten sensor okay well I'll pay the ten cents here's the problem I had they claim that they felt empowered and I'm glad they feel empowered more power to you everybody should feel empowered as much as possible but in a time when we're talking about the meat to move men and women not being objectified you're going to say that you feel empowered by taking your clothes off I don't know I think it's bad timing they want to save the environment lush is an all natural product five ladies decided to go all natural this is this isn't the loss challenge or anything like that I don't if you didn't want to walk by a lot of all right so five employees lost cosmetics Glendale Arizona the Baylor bears at all okay and I gotta tell you I love lush it's just amazing Hey it's it's wrong to look great useful whose I smell delightful you do okay coming up next two near death incidence on valley golf courses for gay they're both
