This is good, but the big chunk in the back And is there any large and strapping boxes? Not on your property. Okay, now I would recommend a fox about 20 miles away. To release him. And if the Fox does not look good, like it's missing a lot of hair. You might want to call the d N R and have them come get it and put it down. Because I have a problem I've seen this one looks pretty healthy. Good, good. He should stay out there then. That's She's probably very healthy and just relocated and no harm, no foul. Any idea or suggestions or to get this trap? You can go to Home Depot. Lowe's tractor supply tractor supplies got him. Um, is everything Amazon's got it or if you run into a problem, just let us know. We'll send you. Marie. Thank you so much new problems for happy hunting. And you as well. Thank you every day all the time. All right, we got Mickey in Glen Burnie. Mickey. What's bugging you? Nothing really. Ever heard you talk about somebody in Harvard County had a Colony of black squirrels have seen him down there. It's just it was interesting because I had never seen one. I saw it years ago, and I was just like look at that is pretty neat anyway, anyway, there would want The gun off of ambassador or road. And the Provident Bank. There's a behind the Provident Bank, actually a cemetery back, original farmer. There's a colony black squirrel back in there. And from what I've read on the Internet, the black squirrels actually imported from England as nice. And of course, they got released. Tired of everything else. Just let him loose. They are cute. It's different. I lived with you. Thanks a lot for the call. We appreciate that. All right. So, yeah, Blacks worlds are out there. I took. Remember seeing one and it was like a double taken like what's going on What's happening, and there they are. Same thing they do. The same thing was just interesting to see that kind of stuff out there, you know, right when you think You've seen it all. You know, life just hit you over the head again and take a look at this. All right? Usually on a Monday for 10 9226680 if you'd like to call us 866 9304 to 8 to if you'd like to call her office. We're always on the Web. A TC passed control. We are full service on last week. I talked a little bit of doubt. The secret of pest control a cz far as the money aspect of it. I'm going to go over that a little bit. It's kind of like a little mini business class. But I won't explain to you when you call it an exterminator. Sorry, flipping my pager and go your first thing and I answer the phones for a lot of the marketing that we have going on. And people go. How much are you? That's our conversation. How much is your service for this for that? Is that that the other that is like the third rail. You shouldn't do that. You should call up and ask. What do you do? How do you treat what is happening? Quick start explaining this and then I'll pull it all together and then I'll blow your mind. So this is pretty cool when you have Ah, a pest issue. You call an exterminator? You don't want to go. You know, I want to find the cheapest price you want to find. It's a balancing act. Do you want to go cheap? Because cheap You're not saving money, and I'm gonna explain. Improve it. You don't want to pay through the roof, either. Because you're you're being annoying to the exterminator or you you're acting like and this is true when you call up and go Well, I've read this on the Internet. You teaching teaching? Going to start at more money because you're a problem customer. They just want to come out and do the treatment and go away. An exterminator. And this is true in a lot of businesses, but I only know passed control, so we'll stick with that. The exterminator is going to make the money that they're going to make, regardless of if they're going to make a cheaper so Let me explain this. There's a thing called the production rate per hour. And this is done in all business models. It's done in past control, and what this is, is. How much does it cost for that technician per hour? To pay for everything. Now a truck is a truck. So all the companies out there. This is pretty on average insurances. Insurance gases. Gas note, Not one other company has an advantage over anybody over that kind of stuff. To the production per hour's pretty close across the board for all these different exterminators. And I can prove that as well. So I did the math and my production rate per hour for my technician. Whether he's sitting in a traffic or if he's working. For eight hours a day, just using that as $92 an hour and the way Figure that out. You have all the expenses and you divide it by your people 270 working days in a year. And just say,.

Bryce Harper makes defensive mistake, then gets ejected in Philadelphia Phillies’ 5-1 loss to New York Mets

"In New York. The Phillies had been so hot, they lose 5 to 1 of the Mets can't get anything going offensively. Sounds like the Flyers. Ah, and it was a rough night for Bryce Harper in the fourth inning. He didn't really take charge in a pop up too short right? Which meant Neil Walker had to run out catch. It wasn't able throughout the runners who advanced really was Harper's ball. And then an inning later, he got a little bit steamed on a foul ball. He had a hard liner over first. That the umpire Robert Roberto Ortiz, called a foul. He thought it was fair. He wants discuss it. Ortiz doesn't want to discuss it. Harper gets tossed a little quickly. It seems I'm not sure what he said. I'm not sure what magic words he used. But there you go. Harper's 14th career rejection. That's a lot. That's a lot, man. He plays emotionally, and he's been having a rough time. He is 54 37 in recent games, and it seemed last night like the aggravation is is problems at the plate kind of got into him, so we will see. Maybe it's what he needed to turn it around. It was a rough night all around for the Phillies. Jay Bruce re injured his left quadriceps. That's a problem. Jay Bruce has been a big part of the offense and done a decent job in left field, and Roman Quinn, who is Lonnie Smith incarnate and how badly he plays the outfield. Crashed into the center field wall and left. Um not sure. I think he's going through concussion protocol, so we will find out what happens with that. Still, the Phillies have won 10 off their last 12 games. Take last night out. This is a very hot team that is playing well and today has its best pitcher on the mound. So that's going to be something to look forward to today. Up in New York, all right, coming

Travel to Iowa

"I'd like to welcome to the show Sarah brewers from travel with Sara, dot com, and also mid west travel network, DOT COM and oddly enough we're going to talk about the mid West and specifically serious here to talk to us about Iowa Sarah Welcome to the show. Thank you for having me. I'm excited to be here excellent well and I put out the. Word among my travel blogger brethren and written and I don't think that this thing put a couple of weeks ago and said, I've got three missing states I missing Iowa Nebraska and Hampshire, and at least one person I think it was more than one said if you want Iowa have to talk to Sarah and why is that? Sarah. What's the connection to Iowa? Well I live in Iowa. I have lived here all my life and I live on I will farm I'm married the neighbor boy in two thousand eight I started a blog and it was in two thousand thirteen that I really dove into the travel side of things. But the one thing that I realize is a lot of people didn't know a whole lot about the mid West or my home state of Iowa in. Most people don't realize that I will has beautiful cornfields and soybean fields we have that, but we have a lot of other amazing things and that's why you need to come to Iowa to visit and we're GONNA get into all of those today and I can't wait to share I. Clinical Slices a paradise will normally ask why someone should go I. Think you jumped into that one ahead of time anything else you would add to that I will surprise you I think the art, the culture, the scenic byways will blow you away. You could spend probably one home month exploring Iowa's scenic byways and I think that's pretty darn. Cool excellent will and where are you going to take us to what you're gonNA recommend where we starting. Well, let's start and do and. North, central. Iowa. Route, which is near where I live. I live near Mason. City. Mason. City Clear Lake and we're GONNA go to Charles City those three towns there, and then he can go up to forest city where you can see we're winnebago motorhomes are made. So you start in Mason city, Mason cities, a great base camp, and I would recommend that you stay in the park in hotel. The parking hotel is the last known hotel in the world designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Can stay there. Okay. People come from all over the world to Mason City Iowa population twenty six thousand something. So I have to Mason City, but I stayed in the holiday and see this is my mistake. You need to come back and see if the. I'll give you the grand old tour I. Didn't know he had designed any hotels. That's true. The first thing people say to me is Oh I don't think I could afford to stay there. and. I'm telling you that rooms at the Parken Hotel in Mason city. Iowa. Are Very affordable. I'm talking one twenty, nine to one, fifty, nine at night in a historic hotel. Designed by Frank Lloyd. Wright. I mean that is amazing. So when you're in Mason City, you want to do the river city's sculptures on parade, which is a sculpture walk, and it's always fun because I travel a lot and you know these artists that create these sculptures are all across America and maybe some of you've seen the Humpty dumpty sculpture that's around. I. Know I'M Thinking, the last place I saw one was in Mesa Arizona Okay I just have to take a Selfie with it because I'm like here's how you know Humpty kind of manages to be wherever I am but the sculptures are really a nice walk because they also take you through the Rock Glen area in Mason City, which is where there are other Frank Lloyd Wright designed homes. So is not only the hotel. There's other homes there as well and McKnight or art museum is a fantastic museum in town. They have the bayard puppets, Baird Marionettes, wizard of Oz the marionnettes that we're using the wizard of Oz are in the museum in Mason City and you can go across the street to Music Man Square we what puppets were in wizard of Oz are we talking about flying monkeys or what? Yes. Monkey is there okay it's a really Nice Museum but then you go across the street and you go to Meredith Wilson's boyhood. Home The music man. So, Meredith Wilson was born in Mason city. Iowa. And the Music Man Square has museum in there that is home to. Meredith Willson. So in the streetscape is in there and it looks just like in the movie, but you would envision it. So that's pretty cool. Meredith Willson he's also buried in Mason City and you know what? There's a lot of people that look for famous people were buried. You know who knew a lot of people cemetery tourism is kind of a big deal but then you go, let's go estimates saying you've already Charles City and get to Whitewater rafting most people don't think of Iowa and Whitewater rafting. And you can do that in Charles City Iowa. In Charles City I'm not sure eight, ten thousand people maybe. And you can stay in a luxury cabin there at red? Cedar. Lodge cabins that are overlooking the river great place for extended families to stay. But you've got the river

Laser Communication: How Shorter Wavelengths Means Greater Bandwidth

"Now bringing you stories behind the ideas that shape our future today sending a map of Mars to Earth might take nine years with current radio systems but as little as nine weeks with laser communications. Here's Glen Jackson Payload Manager. For the laser communications relay demo had Nasr's Goddard Space, Flight Center to explain why optical communication systems are more efficient. The wavelength of light is much smaller than the wavelength of radio frequencies and the small the wavelengths, the more information you can condense in a small period of time. So we get. Greater Bandwidth with optical communication as the wavelength get smaller, this technology would allow us to move large amounts of data and high definition video. In shorter amounts of time, we could communicate with rovers or astronauts on Mars, actually seeing and hearing more of their adventures on the Red Planet and laser communication systems on earth could provide high bandwidth in remote areas,

How to Create Legendary Content When Youre Short on Time

"I'm Eric Su and I'm Neil Patel and today we are going to talk about how to create legendary content when you're short on time. So this is something I've been thinking about for a while if you're busy, let's say you're a busy founder you're just starting up right now everyone's talking about Oh, my God you know. We're talking got to create content. You have people like Gary Con content's but how do you have time for contents redoing all these different things? Right you have other operational things to worry about. So I can kind of go over my process first and then this is what I've been thinking about recently, and then we can kind of go back and forth so. For me recently, I just kind of had this epiphany man. There's some leverage that's built maybe I should take advantage of that leverage and then right more. So you see a lot of people for me I look at the people that follow on twitter. It's a lot of entrepreneurs. It's a lot of investors as well, and their twitter game is just really strong and I'm like men I haven't blog for awhile talk into neo about this. I've been blog for a while but when I wrote my first blog post in about three or four years last week I felt really energized by I. Miss that feeling but I don't always have time to do that. But what I can do capture my thoughts in a tweet so if you're short on time. Start with a tweet I, 'cause years writing these tweets and if you WANNA come back to later to write legendary content, the tweet is the foundational piece that is your little sprout content, and then you can decide where you want to take that piece. Later because I have a couple tweets that I saved up after this recording, the reason I have my hair done. The reason why I'm actually dressed up time is I feel so motivated because of those tweets and let go make some legendary content go on Youtube. So Neil, what are your thoughts? So I liked that I have a simple process to create good content and a short period of time and I've been using it for years. So, there's really two steps in the first is finding the idea i. just go to all my competitors websites and most of them have solar sharing buttons on there and comment counts and some have up votes in down votes and I looked to see what's hot in my space because that'll give me ideas. All right. Once you have idea you don't WanNa Copier Competition. But if you know topic like on Seo or link building as you can create your own version of it, that's better more thorough. That's on a different viewpoint than there right again, you don't WanNa copy them. You WanNa do something that's better and then I just get into writing and the way I write is very simple. Headline I tried to vote curiosity or use a how to or lists based title than outlined I. Write the introductory paragraph with a Hook, right state some questions in their Hook Gum, and then for example, if I'm writing an article on Yoga be like. What would it be cool to do yoga like a advance Yogi? You know of course, it would. Who really has a patient's practice yoga for ten years? Why can't I learned the moves and get them done right now? Well, you know what I figured out a way one hundred and one ways to advance yoga as a Newbie and keep in mind I don't do yoga. So I have no clue what a Yogi any of that is Linda yogis postal teaches yoga. So my context is probably off but that. Should give you idea of how I hope people than I outlined my body. I list the main subheadings of all the sections that I want to cover, and then I'll put a sentence or two underneath each one. Then all right to conclusion and the conclusions that summarizes everything and then I end the conclusion with question that encourages more comments and then I go back in I fill up the middle I'll reread it. But that stuff on where pressure put my content up on wordpress are uploaded to your cms have editor some review it make sure you had your pictures from your stock targeted decided schedule it and boom. You're good to go like that. Literally is my process sometimes on writing and unsure some things all Google for the answer and then all linked to it within my article I'm deciding my sources but that really is my process. Cool. That's great process. I think by the way just because you know we're talking about tech space content on this podcast it doesn't necessarily mean you have to do text based right when we talk about legendary content, it could be at it could be a facebook ad it could be a youtube video it could be a podcast, right but neil touch on something it is. If you guys have in Glengarry Glen Ross, you have to watch that. Ad Section where he talks a idea just go find that one but this silly? Tent Patel So. A idea right. A is awareness interest D is decision as action right? The Hook that Neil is talking about you want to get them immediately. Right you want to dress Oh, while that's awareness right there right and then you want to get them interested right. Boston - Veteran Receiver Becomes Seventh Patriots Player To Opt Out

"So far, Seven New England Patriots have opted out, including some pretty good players on that team, too. Just today, Marqise Lee, the wide receiver became number seven, right? Was it going to mean for Bill Belgian pretty significant losses and I, each guy explained why he was doing what he was doing. And you understand that I mean, Mark is cotton. The Right tackle who's a starting right tackle? That's a big loss for them. But there's a guy that had Hodgkin's lymphoma when he was before you. There was Before he got drafted Ah, and took treatment and beat it, but I mean, he's obviously ah, high risk sort of guy in these circumstances, he said. I can't do this. Ah, I understand that, um

New York Knicks hiring Tom Thibodeau as next head coach

"So Tom Thibodeau is gonna be the head coach of the next. Here's our guy. Stephen A. Smith, Our first take host was on return to the MBA, and he discussed the positives and negatives. Of the Knicks hiring Fido. Nevertheless, nobody can argue that Davidow has the most successful resume it available coaches that one open market he's one about 59% of the games. You know the job you did in Chicago. We noted he sold it to the postseason first time in like a decade for like, 13 years. We know that he's with one could easily argue whether not Doc Rivers would be a champion as a head coach had it not been for top Thibodeau being his assistant. In Boston back in 2008. So all of those things come with He's got an incredible reputation. Terms of knowing the game of basketball of the entire Lesley committed to the game of back, eat, lives and breathes basketball day and night. Um and you combine that with the fact that again either defense with it, though, that a pluses minuses. The fact that in Chicago there were issues with Paxson and guard form in the general manager In Minnesota. There was an issue with the owner, Glen Taylor, and management, along with the fact that Jimmy Butler wanted to be traded went off Thibodeau, his former coach in Chicago, by the way. Was his president of basketball operations and to coach in Minnesota. And so as a result, you've got a home and believe that Tom Thibodeau has made the necessary adjustments. He's seen the error of his ways. Some respect player relations. And even relations with management and that this is a good deal because I'm here and it's a three year deal. Garrity fully guarantee the other two years, a partial guarantee in excess of about for $4 million. But in the end It seems to be a match made in heaven. Answering the big questions about the Wolves' potential sale

"He's worth 3.2 billion and he's about to get some more because Glenn Taylor is allegedly selling the Timberwolves. Joining us now is our own. Henry Lake. Henry. What's going on? Come on. What's the latest with the scoop? Ah, what's going on, Jordana? I'm doing pretty good. Hope you're having often do that. Thank you. Yes, It's a beautiful day. But this is some interesting new news. And of course, I have a 1,000,000 questions, and I'm sure there are very few answers because has this news been confirmed yet? I mean, it hasn't I don't think that anybody with the Cymbals organization as confirmed anything quite yet, But the reality is is that this authority has broke now, right and And by the way, the first broke the news is going to be. He's going to be on my show a little bit later this evening, but I mean, this is not realistically at least in my pain in the side of surprise. Like this is not like Maybe the timing of it up hearing about it today is is something that maybe I've caught a lot of people off guard, but just the overall story in itself. Is not shocking to me at all. Like we like what we've known for the last years that Glen was talking about selling the temples like when people when people had heard about Kevin Garnett interest. Why was Why was interest from Kevin Garnett in regard to being one of the minority owners or potentially abide because he knew that Taylor Um, I was looking to sell the franchise there were there was speculation. I remember the gentleman's name about the top of my head and what business beyond But there was AH potential. The guy that was interested in the organization like four or five years ago. So I say All of that is the simple fact is that to me this didn't catch me off guard. It's been talked about in disgust that he was looking to sell the franchise the last few years. So it is Kevin Garnett buying it? Is he the new owner? Ah, right to the chase. I don't think that anybody knows who the potential next owner is. And I wouldn't think that Kevin Garnett will be the new Walter. I don't think they're coming. Garnett has the The financial resource is Teo to be the owner outright. Apparently let's see. He originally paid about 88 million for the team. He opted to forgo a public sale and he asked rain rain is private equity firm. Two, I guess find a buyer. Privately, Taylor's interested interest in selling is not related. He claims to financial losses or covert 19. But you say you're not surprised. So he just What is? I mean, Do you get bored of owning an MBA franchise? Um, I mean, I don't know, I I don't know. I mean, if you get into it, we'll put it like this when he got into it with the whole idea of not only investing and buying a franchise that also Really doing Minnesota a favor, Right? You see, Morgan is that he kept the NBA here in Minnesota. So I don't think that that leading up to all the bad enough Speculation and the thought that it was going to move to New Orleans that anybody think that Glen Table is going to own only mental intent rules or was actively looking to pursue buying the organization. I feel like he fell into this. And then you know, he fell in love with being an owner, and it's probably one, of course

"Could be a song in that. Still no word so. It's still still still haven't still listening still waiting. You have not counting. Nothing's come back so suddenly is playing. You get all these talks like okay. So it's still no word is the first thing that fell out of your mouth trust that and then follow that and then just use that as a kind of a a as a kind of a tent pole to a bunch of thoughts you know. So what is this wiser student still no word for WHO to? Who while you waiting do you need to wait is is does your life depend on hearing from whatever whoever this is and then you suddenly your brain just ask them and then you you find then you have to. You have to allow yourself to go up. That's the key to to writing is to allow mistakes to allow dreadful like I mean we were changing. I'm changing course there without informing anybody. What's going on? There's definitely going to be mistakes. We're GONNA hit. We're going to buy into each other of course but that's the that's the basis of the basis of music. How long did it take you to be comfortable enough to do that kind of playing when you were a kid where you worry about getting it right? I and that that inhibited you or were you always able to kind of open up that way. No I don't think we're always able to open up that we learned to Play Guitar. And of course you know when you learn to play guitar in any instrument you WanNa get it right so every time you play a song you WanNa get you WanNa play correctly on execute Tucson correctly but it does you do get to a place with musicians where you find intimacy and that intimacy is that you can completely blow it. I mean for years. Jonsman listening to me go where I will gave a by Alibaba. And then and then we got. We go on stage to shape to that and there's does lyrics to that but the lyrics don't necessarily come as you as you're beginning lyrics sometime sometimes at the find your way into a song and find your way into what it means. So for instance when we recorded food game. I probably had most of most of the lyric kind of figured out but I was pretty writing that song the hallway through the session you know and again like walking around Paris in between sessions thinking about the song. Listen to the kind of the BLAH BLAH BLAH. And the kind of you know me you know me trying to find something and kind of going. Wow I really see where I was trying to get to there but now that I'm outside of that moment. Where have the instrument in my hand? I know what I was trying to say. I was trying to say this and so I write it down so then I go back and I know exactly what it was I was trying to get. They're trying to hide the vote quarter. That's what Glenn Away. He lives. See anything anything to take out of your comfort. You know so. The vote quota was really was really great because it takes you away from a guy with a guitar in his hand. Because you know I'm I'm limited when it comes to Meena Guitar because I know the cords records my brain will automatically go to one of those cords because it knows to safety of what I chord will bring whereas when you play with something. Vo Quarter or even for me and my case piano like I'll hit a chord regular. Whoa what's that might actually be? The you know the the fourth to what I was doing because it sounds so different on piano. I'm excited by whereas a play on the guitar. I'm not so you. Can you say you can almost no your instrument to well. I think in a way you can get into a wrote which our instrument because you know not know how that relates to that cord. You'll get locked into because you know. At the end of the day. Most music operates most Western music operates within a very simple be. No what is it the tree five. What I always to Nashville thing. Isn't it the the one four or five for five that idea that once we once we figure all of that then it all becomes second nature but if you put yourself on an instrument you don't know you might be doing to one four five but it sounds amazing because you don't what you're doing even though you might still be operating very much in a very simple structure that's exciting? I mean musicians and artists constantly seeking perspective shifts. That's why when you read like Nino cones biography or whatever you know you kind of understand why he was taking mandrakes and speed at the same time because perspective shift. Is Everything in writing. It's all about getting out of your own head and literally getting out of your head. I mean getting out of your own the place that that restricts you to certain ideas and you know there's a lot of romance around musicians use drugs and painters and poets use of drugs to find themselves in in a different head space because that's exact- that's precisely where where things can can really you. Can you can basically get out of your own way. And that's that's always what you're looking for and that's what the voter can give you. But what the playing an instrument you don't know can give you gives you perspective shift and you can. You can find yourself in a different spot jet to play another song. Yeah When you climb the hill vision as above so it was below true. The apathy and derision step ascending took when they pin you in the corner pay no heats dead drone in Hong. Because you're not going back where you don't belong.

"Long moved on to something else there at some point. They say fool's game but maybe in the next one but you hear the idea so then in the studio did you just play that for you know we. We don't could forgotten to bring his coder with him. Which was that sound. Which was kind of a culmination of a bunch of stuff going into a bunch of stuff at creating that. Big Sort of phase of sound delay. So we went to me ordered. Some Russian Vo Coder on Ebay. Which he claimed would be the perfect one to do it on and we we got it for like six hundred quid was expensive and someone in. Spain had us and then heavier had called. Shara friend in Spain had called the shop and the guy giving them the anyway we got. The vote was a Russian vocal. We couldn't understand anything written on it. It was all instructions are in Russian all the buttons and we had to get gone and it didn't work and then we ended up using a Korg Micro Korg Vo Coder Setting on it and Warren Ellis swears by. He uses all the time. And so we got this one and it was perfect and so but that was a that was the one we were trying to create And then how did you? How did you make the song from there like Romney when you heard you thought did something a courteous about playing it or I think if I remember correctly we kind of just like we? We set up that microcosmic about the vote. We gotta vocal going on then like pretty much everything else. We just sort of glance started singing the same those lines and paying and we all just kind of felt her way around and got some drones and stuff going on but yeah and it's very very loose. Okay this is massively putting you on the spot. Could you do that now? If Glen started playing something a one hundred percent a hundred percent. That's that's the whole session is based on the idea of. Here's a toss. Let me let me see.

It doesn't sound like an Eric Clapton Song. It doesn't so interested in how that came together Were you playing a certain kind of riff or and then Romi you jumped in. Or how did that emerge now? We're on it. That's our project then. Tv PEOPLE LISTEN UP. We're getting this man. He got got it this album this new album. You releasing is described as a departure from what you've been doing the last few albums so tell me. Tell me about the making of this album and how it is. Different sometimes go through periods of her life. Where we're doing certain things were behind. You know we're writing certain ways and For me the last couple a wreck will of certainly since the beginning of me making Glen Hansard records it was. It seems to me like the the city of New York had kind of a through line was kind of an American sense throughout the records that I was making over the last few years. And this one it just. It's the longest period in the last twenty years that I haven't been in America which is about a year and a half and you know not to say that that really means anything for or against the records just spent a Lotta time in Paris in the last year and a half and Also time with with with Romeo and David Ogden. I'm over in in France recording this record and Joe and making kind of decided to make an acoustic record but I had some time in France and in Paris and I think is what made this album a little different in that when I listened to the songs. Now it's the streets of Paris That come back to me because it was on the streets where I wrote the lyrics taking long walks in thinking. Meditating when a song comes into your head you gotta before days of absolute focus because you get excited about Lyrica you get excited about a melody and it just rolls around your head around your head and around your head and you can sit and you can right at your desk or you can just go for walks because the songs can leave your head. You've got sometimes you've got four days. Sometimes you've got two weeks where the song won't leave your head. You become obsessed to become the only thought you have and everything else has just surrounding that one thought and so in Paris. I was walking around with these songs in my head and I was finding the lines and jot them down quickly Either in my phone or a notebook and I'm GonNa get home that evening. I'd sort of compile what I sort of come across during the day. I'm what's wonderful? I sat a cup live parameters around the songs that I thought each lyric needs to be an actual experience wanted every line in the album every line and every song to be a particular memory that I couldn't just be all that rhymes with that and that's actually a good line. That wasn't good enough. It had to be. I wanted to anchor every line into something that was actually going on And would tell the song just performed. I'll be you yeah. I remember walking from the Irish Cultural Center which was the play sustain. Hold Monastery and they give us a small room and I'll be spending time in that place really loving into Latin quarter right in the middle of the Latin Quarter in the fifth are in this morning. Paris and I was walking down the room of tires and turning left and just as a dotted the junction at of La- Goblin which is one of the sort of major streets. This whole thing just had a hit me. You know. I kinda hit upon with Joe Ruth in the studio. You're Bonnie snare traps me in the evening which I thought what an interesting thing to just sort of pop out of your mouth and I liked the image of you know that that that that that is a kind of you know you know how to you know how to pull me in. You know exactly what it is. You know my buttons you know and as an intimacy in that an admitting to someone that you know exactly what it is and so. I started to think about the song as the lover as a as the spider who divided devours lover. And so I started going off on that imagery in my head and it was like I'll be you be mean I'll be you. We won't say no more about it. This idea that we'll swap will become each other and I was really really pleased where the song was going kind of those kind of permission to get dark. If you like something about the core structure that allowed you to to stay between dark and contemplative and even lightness so for me when I heard the song straight back on that street and it's a particular corner no so so. I'm very happy with how that turned out because now when I sing the songs I can. There's a place in them. I can place myself somewhere. It's also a song which is technically Uses a sample. Which had you ever used a sample before. Oh Yeah Oh. We've used samples to invest a long time and my friend. David was in the studio and I had myself and ruth jobs start playing around with dislike. This is like the and you're just fooling around and My friend David Clear. Who who had I? I had asked to come over this to really interesting musicians from Dublin David cleary and Dunk Murphy who are kind of experimental electronic musicians and they would very much inhabit the world. Romi inhabits which is just all the texture and bending and the the only kind of instruction that they were given into the record was like we'd love you to come in because we have a bunch of Persian musicians coming in so we'd love you to commit as a balance the because of just Persian music playing along with an acoustic record. It's going to sound quite these. Tarik may be world music in a way so the the way to balance that was to bring in these electric musicians and say your job is to disrupt the music just to disrupt anything you hear and command and just put put an elbow into a dirty elbow. Which is exactly what they did and David said I have a beat for that that I think would rework. And the beat was really oddest from a cassette. So it's really noisy. And we kind of fell in love with the texture of the sound because as a it's just a very simple beat but fell over the texture and he said you know no one will ever know what this is. This is from the David Bowie Queen Session for under pressure. But it's like a song that was never used. Don't worry about it. It's something I found somewhere that no one will ever figure out what it is right and so we got excited by the idea that the idea that that that what we're hearing is you know John Deacon. When does a touch of Bowie in the in the in the vocal kind of very very so just the fact that the the spirit of these these people is on the song kind of gave it an extra layer of kind of sensuality? If so we got very excited about it. We finished the song we we mix this we add mastered it and we put it on record and then suddenly you know I downloaded spotify on my computer because I'd been asked to do it so many times just to listen to check it out which I'd Kinda resisted open. Clinton did and within six songs of listening to spotify. I heard a song called cool by Queen which was exactly the same beat and I realized that we were in real trouble. So so What are the chances Queen would sue us? Nobody's heard him exactly and we were. We all cursed our David for awhile and then we had to then Howard had the own enviable job of going and trying to contact. Brian May and asking for permission which took a couple of months because they had the movie coming out and stuff so the album ended up getting put back till April. But you know in the end of the day. We did recreate the beat which was easy to do. Because it's not a it's not like a super original be moved on every record But the fact that it was them the fact that it was had all this the fact that it that it came from that session was worth actually pursuing it was worth actually asking and going through the front door and ask him for permission and gave us permission. Maybe you're listening to a premium lawyers edition of spotify that just. That's a to track it down. You said this album was built from the ground up. What does that mean what it means? Is that not one song on this record Was a song before we went into the studio and that's untrue to two songs. The wound the welcome back to find our legalize and brothers keep aware to songs that existed before but the rest of the songs came in the studio they were. They were brand new. They were brand new in the studio. And like for instance like I'll be me was played once we never played a twice whenever it was. It was a little jam. That we elaborated on an Assam Lake. way to the world that happened dunes. We've never played it since we've actually tried to play it at sound checks and stuff but we never managed to figure out what we did in the moment and that became the exciting part of the birth of this record was we were going into record a set of songs and some covers. Even we're going to record a couple of friends of our songs and then when it came time to listen back to what we had would be. We realized that there was a whole bunch jams that were really interesting and then we just decided to scrap everything that we were working on. Just focus on the John's amongst we focused on and we elaborated on them. They became their own songs entirely and they became much more exciting because they were coming out of nowhere for instance. I'm singing songs in keys. That are not good for my voice. My voice is way down low but I'm just trying to. I'm just trying to jam along with whatever cords. We just came up with so does a kind of an element of freedom to those songs. That was much more attractive to us. In that moment down the songs that we went into try nail if you like why are we here? Another one.

"When Kobe Bryant retired twenty sixteen he penned a farewell letter to to the game that he called dear basketball? It was later turned into an animated short film by veteran animator. Glen Keane with music by John Williams the composer for star our wars and other classic films. This is all I have left to give a mind can in handle the grind body news time to say goodbye. Dear Basketball won an academy award in two thousand. Eighteen keen is a former Disney animator. Her you'd never met Kobe prior to the making of deer basketball and he told me about that nervous first meeting when Kobe and his family visited his animation studio that day. He he showed up with Vanessa and the girls and we brought him an and there was this moment of like. Uh what's Kobe going to think of. This tiny little studio was in little duplex. And I mean it wasn't like the big fancy studios this and you looked around and saw the sketches on the wall. And you know for a moment I thought oh I know. He's got to be disappointed. Did he said it's perfect. Yeah they're recording of of Kobe's monologue. His his read comes comes off is Very intimate what conversations. Did you have with him about the recitation of of the peace. Did you sort sort of guide him or coach him at all. We walk down the street from our little studio too recording studio at the end of a point Setia. Yeah it's a recording studio. Where actual Michael Jackson recorded thriller and Coby was so nervous to go in there like this? I mean he's such a fan of Michael Jackson's work and when we came time to record Kobe was very quiet he he delivered it in in a very simple straightforward conversational way. I thought okay. Good well he's got that done. Now he's going to deliver something more dramatic second time exactly clearly the same their time delivered exactly the same and at that point I realized this is it. Kobe's going to deliver something very pure entirely sincere. Not Inflected selected not dramatized. He's not performing. He's revealing who he is and it became the the driver for for the the way. Every part of this whole piece was going to be. I am wondering if he was thinking in terms of creating something that would speak speak for itself after he was gone. Not only from the basketball court but from from life An and was he thinking about his legacy and future generations nations and how they viewed him for Kobe. He knew what he had done in setting a path for others. So this was this was his purpose us very much to inspire new generations beyond him. I mean that was very intentional. Talking to coby he would have this intense fierce look in his eyes that would his spirit spirit in this movie had to connect to you in a very visceral way like him and I told the Kobe Kobe. I can't just animate you moving across in shooting the ball. I have to know what's in your head. What's in your heart? How how are you feeling? So we went shot by shot through Youtube of Kobe's twenty greatest plays and he remembered -membered every moment and described that moment why he was able to do that shot. What was his intention? I could live live in his skin. That's what was for nanometer. It's all about living in the skin of someone you animate. I mean there was a a His fade shot. Where he he would throw his right hip out a little bit left? Hip was just back just for enough enough and then you know he would come at the opponent and then back off and leap up into the air at a certain angle and do the whole thing and I studied it and I knew it I knew it exactly the angle of his hand so I mean early on. I said Kobe. You've got the worst basketball player in the world animating. Neal Neil said that's okay Glenn because everything you learn about basketball is going to be through studying him so after film was done we. You're at the Lakers. Training Center and the lights were off on the court and I walked in and grabbed a basketball. I thought I can do this. I mean this was so much about Kobe. Set your mind to it and you study and you you can do it so I got the ball. I went way back into a three point shot. I mean way back. I wasn't making it easy on myself. And I travelled ball then I jumped and through my right hip out and my hand was ninety degrees everything and all the way to releasing the ball and coby would say you know even after the ball was off of his fingertips. I felt like still had enough control. If I pull my finger back might just not bounce too hard on the backboard. I mean there was this mystical connection between him and the ball and I felt all of that insight as released the ball. It was flying. I could not believe it straight for the basket ask it on a perfect arc Iran. I was dumbfounded and that fell ten feet short. But how do you read the words now in the aftermath of this tragedy. There's a profound depth to them about him talking about his his body. Not being able to go on. It's time to give it up time to let it go. Did everything.

"And now a body and emory KKOB's boathouse a second theory about the hides disappearance emerged. What if bessie really had killed? Glenn perhaps with the assistance of emery. Kolb the woman who claimed to be bessie was in her sixties. which was the right age? It had been over over four decades since twenty three year. Old Besse's disappearance. The skeleton at combs was a male in his twenty S. Like Glenn had been the dates it's lined up. There was more corroborating evidence in the records of Otis Marston historian and river guide. Who spent thirty years collecting relics and testimonies? He's about the Colorado River. Marston had a particular interest in Glen and Bessie Hyde Story and he tracked down several people who had known them. Marston had the interviewed Kolb as well as Adolph Sutro and most of the other would be rescuers call had told Morriston that bessie seemed ready to quit with the trip. While Glenn was anxious to continue bessie had complained about several of the most harrowing rapids they'd encountered she was scared of the river over Marston. Also noted that Bessie had had a premonition that she wouldn't survive the trip. She gave colds daughters some of her clothes and even made the a comment about never wearing shoes again. Especially bizarre when you consider the hides boots left in the Scou- Marston. Marston had also interviewed Bert. Lowes on a park ranger. Who'd been at the cold camp when the heights passed through? Luzon said the little woman was was sick of it when she reached this far. Glenn wanted to make a record. Taking the first woman through. She just had no enthusiasm. She was dejected. Did and went on only because he insisted bessie had written about her fear and exhaustion in letters to her family and enter Journal and another interview. Shed more light on Besse's frustrations in their final days near Hermit camp. A mule packer named Bob. Francey heard an argument between the hides which ended only when Glen Forrest Bessie into the boat. And Adolph Sutro. Recalled Glenn's obsession Russian with the river trips record-setting potential bessie would be the first woman to run the Grand Canyon and she would do it in a homemade Scou- if Glenn was determined to break a record. He needed bessie she wasn't allowed to quit. It comes down to Glens temperament and those Sutra wasn't impressed by the Scou- or the hides foolish optimism. He said Glen was decent. Not Domineering. And the woman's testimony on on the tour in one thousand nine hundred seventy one only raised more questions. She said she'd stabbed Glenn in the middle of the night and dumped his body in the river. But but if bessie had left Glenn in the water how did the skeleton and up in Emory colds boathouse. Some had speculated that cold and Bessie might we've had a tryst may be cold shot Glen and bessie covered up the crime with a story about abuse and the stabbing. She'd already been divorced once. Silence after a mysterious marriage her reputation wouldn't survive another scandal but after Glenn's alleged homicide cold stayed in the Grand Canyon with his wife and children for the rest of his life. It was hardly the behavior of a murderer who killed a man over an affair however more the answers became apparent as the skeleton from. The canoe was analyzed. Dr Walter Burke be forensic anthropologist just in Arizona analyzed the bones for clues specifically focused on the bullet hole in the skull. The slog was thirty two caliber fired fired from a pistol first manufactured in Nineteen Zero two so the chronology worked the skeleton was roughly as tall as Glenn as well but the similarities ended there burke B. Took photographs of the skull and line them up with the final portrait. Sutro took of Glen. The facial oh features didn't match at all and the bones were determined to have belonged to a man who was twenty years old when he died. Glenn was thirty in nineteen twenty eight emory. Colds grandson undermined this theory. Further with his unwavering testimony that his grandfather had discovered the skeleton in nineteen nineteen eighteen. It couldn't possibly have been Glenn Hyde still a theory that bessie killed. Glenn persisted until Nineteen eighty-five when author Scott. Thighbone tracked down the woman who claimed to be Bessie in Ohio. He asked her again pointblank if she was Bessie Hyde and what had happened in in nineteen twenty eight. The woman denied the entire story. She'd made the claim on a whim to add some suspense to the tour in her hometown. Town she was known as a big personality who liked to be the center of attention. Her real name was Liz Cutler. Her life through adolescence and in young adulthood was well documented. The chances that she was Bessie Hyde are slim. But the mysterious disappearance appearance was still a favourite topic on the Colorado and Master River Guide Brad dimic recreated the hides journey for a book. He wrote in two thousand one one. He and his wife piloted a handbuilt Scou- through the Grand Canyon when they reached Mile two-thirty to brad believed he found the rapids that had claimed Glen and Bessie lives the stretch. Along Mile to thirty two is to this day considered one of the most dangerous of the entire Colorado Arado river a rock outcropping called the fangs lies in the middle of the river. Unavoidable to all but the smallest and most nimble riverboats Glen and Bessie in an enormous twenty-foot Pine Scou- DEMOC believes there was no way they could have passed rapids without serious trouble double embassies journal tally of the rapids. They traversed ended just before two thirty to the poor over and boil near mile to thirty. He too is extremely violent. No matter how high or low the water level might be if the hides had gone overboard. Swimming would have been very difficult. Salt and they would have been quickly overcome by the rushing. Current the SCOU- was founded five miles down river from Mile two-thirty too. And there was no sign of of life after Besse's final journal notation whether in the rapids or somewhere close by dim acclaimed the hides had been killed in this stretch of water her in June nineteen twenty nine six months after the hides vanish the Colorado flooded. Heavily and the high rushing water would have washed away way any further evidence or corpses alternatively in the unlikely event that one or both of the Hyde. It's had made it off the river. They would have perished in an attempt to climb out of the gorge. The Grand Canyon offers little shade from the blistering Sun during the day and the temperatures drop below freezing at night. As their supplies were found in the Scou- they certainly had very little food or water today. Most river guys in historians contend that the hides ran into trouble in the rapids at Mile Two thirty two and ended up in the water. Where they they drowned? The boat simply floated on until it got hung up on rocks five miles downriver well. This scenario is widely accepted. It can never be proven with any certainty without conclusive evidence which is unlikely to ever be found. The tragic honeymoon adventure is still L. A.. Good story still told around campfires along the Colorado River in that way Glen and Bessie Hyde's journey was successful and that it made them famous just like Glen and Bessie had hope..

I mean really his own but every year for the last twenty four years there's every year we have had to relive it. We've got interviews. I have very few I've only done one when I was younger and then in one about four years ago and then now and the one a few years ago that done it helped me so much much to actually be able to talk about it and get it out because I I deal with it very differently the older I've gotten harder. It gets you to their mother. They You know there's there's days though man you just need you I don't think you much They will be spared either. I just I just just more out of the teacher. The equation crystals heart isn't the only one that's broken. We have all the family members of all of Glen Rogers victims to you consider here and they've all been waiting for twenty four years and I cannot imagine the emotional suffering and Lord knows what other kind of suffering they've all been dealing with since Glenn at took their loved ones away and then we were contacted by the victim's advocate in Florida Florida to write letters say how this is affected the martyrs of these. There's no sense and going on by spend all all this money and see the more that had a little pair found it over with so crystal sent us the letter that she sent to the governor and a lot of details much of what she shared with us today but I'm going going to read some of the last paragraph so you can get an idea of truly how important this is to her. She said today. I'm thirty eight. It's been almost twenty four years. I still have battles in fight. Demons can describe the pain. The murder of my mother has caused but unless you lived it words couldn't honestly describe it. I've lived a life of fear heartache. Anguish always questioning second guessing people. There's always a rainbow after a storm and God bless me the good life in wonderful family. I've prayed constantly for strengthened peace. So it's time for closure. The women he murdered in the families of the murder victims deserve justice to be served. I plead and beg of you. Let's Ns us. Glen Rogers does not deserve to go on living. Even if it's in prison he's still walking talking eating drinking. He can still talk to his family. He can still smile L. and laugh and joke. He is alive and breathing while my mother lays in a casket Kohl's in the ground he's alive while a big part of US died. When he took my mother it does not deserve to have what he took away from those women he deserves far worse than what can be given to him and he will only receive that when he goes before the man upstairs upstairs please. I beg signed the execution papers we deserve closure and peace of mind and then she signed her name followed by by Remembering Always Linda Price Sandra Gallagher Teena Marie cribs and Andy Giles sudden and crystal. We commend you and support you so much on this entire journey. You've demonstrated so much strength and thank you so much for letting US share your story. So what did we learn learned today. Linda was with her family. Andy was with her roommate. Yeah you know with three friends and Sandra joined Glenn in his friends so tarred had just called her husband. You know it's it's like you feel like you're safe but there are wolves in sheep's clothing everywhere potentially everywhere in anywhere yeah all right well big. Thank you to crystal for me. "Mark Peters and Glenn's hometown of Hamilton there was this elderly man named Mark Peters who Glenn had actually lived with at ten different addresses over fourteen years after his mother no longer let Glenn Live with her and Glenn. Dan was living with mark in September nineteen ninety-three and a month later mark went missing all of a sudden and he was seven seventy only one year old electrician and he was a veteran he was the you know he would just let Glenn and and you know help them get back on his feet again and and he would ask Glenn maybe to do some light errands in exchange for the room and board right and mark actually had family and he had a daughter who lived in the Hamilton area as well so when when he turned up missing in late October his daughter reported it to the police and she said that her father mark had a collection of coins antiques and some guns all of which were missing in the police searched but found no trace of mark so it was really perplexing and the Hamilton what's in please wanted to speak with Glen about mark's disappearance Glenn had already left for Los Angeles and they were unable to immediately locate him and mark's car was also missing fast forward to the end of nineteen ninety three to January of Nineteen ninety-four police searching for mark eventually searched the cabin owned by one of Glenn's family members and found a skeleton bound to a chair under a pile of furniture due to the state of the remains officials officials were able to ascertain the cause of death but it was clearly no accident and they were able to identify the skeleton as belonging to seventy one year old mark computers the police suspected Glenn but he was long gone but his absence initially prior to him being implicated in Mark's death was not atypical Glen would leave Hamilton for weeks months or even years at a time but he was always returned home eventually so it wasn't off for him to pick up and disappear and travel with carnivals and do the things he was known to do so but you know after mark's body was found there was a federal warrant issue. I was also included in the flurry of media coverage about Glen his crimes and the manhunt was an interview with his mother that appeared in the Cincinnati Inquirer. Edna Rogers urged her son to turn himself in and also the police not to hurt him. She told the enquirer quote. They have no proof of his guilt. He just happened to be in the area where the killings took place. I think they have a patsy. Let's see and they're going with it. She also said my son was the most caring child of all my children she also the pleased that she spoke with Glen on the phone two weeks prior and he denied killing family friend Mark Peters and all of the women an told the police that he had a typical childhood but he dropped out of school in the ninth grade because of reading difficulty but she did say that he had a rash that developed after falling into a toxic puddle and she said quote. You know how kids get into things. Let's basically the joker right. They're falling into a toxic right. Yes that must be. It's it's such an odd thing for mom to be like my son is innocent exceeded normal childhood how ever yeah he put all that is so you know your. Nana's wasn't anything I did certainly not yeah can't be anything that the mom dead now but now's a good time as any to talk about Glenn's Mommy the issues and we talked about this in episode one but here's the whole pitcher so Glenn was of quote Hamill Tuck in stock and this is a very disparaging reference. It's to the backwoods culture of APPALACHIA. He was one of seven children born to Edna and Claude Rogers is dad worked at a paper mill for sixteen years. There's he drank every day was alcoholic and he often beat ad and beat the seven kids and he wants threatened to kill his wife if she left him during one of the beat beatings. He broke her nose and knocked her out. She was completely unconscious right off the bat. We have a lot of physical abuse that he's witnessing yeah. They were poverty stricken. We mentioned this episode in part one but he you know when his dad lost his job. The seven of them mm seven of the siblings plus. The two parents had moved into a two bedroom home with one bathroom so it's kind of it's it's not conducive to a lot of space and health and boundaries foundries and all those sorts of things the parents of Glenn the father specifically kept several guns in the home and he was fired from the paper mill for drinking on the job and after he lost his job they had to move into the worst part of town. When you moved about parts of town obviously you're exposed to more crime and bad influences high risk behavior things like that. The seven kids were tormented by the neighborhood children and the father encouraged them to fight back to defend themselves which encouraged courage sort of like this violent reaction to such things in glen apparently ain't paint chips in dirt so the Patriots were potentially Um and he was a bad water until he was twelve years old. There's no shame that everyone but it is considered in the triad colours though Cher and he also apparently banged his head purposefully over and over on the edge of his bed and he would concussed himself and become unconscious and by the way when he was doing this apparently he was showing he wasn't crying and he was showing no signs of distress at all yeah. It's not good if I see my kid doing that. I'm going to be like I'm out new mom so Glenn's older brother clay introducing the drugs and alcohol at the age of twelve as well. He was also beaten by his parents aren't more frequently than the other siblings because he was a little bit more rebellious and win. Glenn was sixteen. His father became disabled from a heart attack and I have to say in the last this episode. I said it was a stroke. If you look at the reporting they report on both it was a stroke was a heart attack. He was incapacitated by illness so I can't confirm which one it was but either way it's like you're seeing a lot of things were if you have maybe the the ability to be pushed into like the socio apathy horrible direction. These variables aren't aren't helping helping out no poverty no supervision violence abuse abuse he also you know there's all sorts of things that were happening so by the way a lot of this information that we're talking about with. Glenn's childhood comes it from a documentary called my brother the serial killer that's kind of from clay's perspective perspective of his life with Glenn how that all happened and an interesting thing that I saw on the documentary it was talking about when Glenn One was born so before Glenn was born. The MOM and the dad had five children six six children. They didn't want any more kids so she wanted to get her tubes tied so so they had to get a judge to approve of her getting her tubes ties was in Ohio when he was born in one thousand nine hundred eighty seven yeah.

"Glenn in the police ruin guns trail from in Florida because Glenn had actually rented his hotel room under his real name. The police knew who they were looking for but they had no idea where he was going or what he would do next. I and if you're thinking Andy Sutton had lucked out by not being hurt by Glenn. You are right but unfortunately he went back. He wins. Louisiana a man eighty at an I spend the night with her. Then which is Florida Mattino Mattino killed her then came back to Jackson spent the night in apartment. What's dad mother then left there and went back to Louisiana where he killed eighty so driving. Tina cribs Ford Festiva Glenn headed back to Louisiana to link back up with Andy Sutton when he got there. He greeted her and told her that he had a surprise for her. He'd gotten her a car because Andy didn't have one but this sounds familiar. It's exactly athlete. Glenn did with Linda Price who loved bombing her after days of knowing her without even knowing her and it's even more twisted in this case because the car that he had brought back for Andy Belong to the woman that he'd killed days before in Tampa Tina crabs so so fucking and we are. We've seen this before are and actually we've seen this also in in fictional stuff to where a guy kills somebody takes their jewelry and then gives it to usually it's jewelry you. You know you very rarely that's at a car but this is this is super twisted because not only did he use this as his escape escape vehicle all and then he used it as a lower of with the love bomb and saying. I got you a car well because I think he saw how effectively think he actually bought what I think happened. He couldn't give Sandra's car to Linda because he set her on fire took a greyhound bus and I think he needed a car he. He said it was four Linda. Ah The effect it had on her so then he was like if I give a woman a car I kind of get whatever I want so he then use the same method fit on on Andy but had this car in like we had said previously when he had first met Andy. He left his red truck at her apartment urban complex so as to explain why he was coming back with this white car. It's again a eighteen wheeler yeah. Why would he just show but the new car. It's the gift for you. You don't have a car so he's like killing two birds with one stone making an excuse worms off and also and also winning over exactly so andy obviously actually had no idea but she was over the moon rightfully so and she glenn her roommate. Teresa decided to go out bar hopping together within a few hours. Glenn was glassy eyed and wasted. Is it again and Andy told Theresa that she was going to take Glen back their place to quote unquote sleep it off so theresa went to work and and Indian Glenn went back to their place to sleep it off. I guess after this Bar Craw. Theresa got back to their apartment at around three A. M. Glenn Red Truck. The pickup was still parked in the complex as parking lot and she walks into the apartment. The lights are all on but it didn't seem like anyone was home. So theresa sat on the couch and she ended up just passing out till the morning. She wakes up the next morning and she's looking around the apartment. She goes inside the bedroom and calls out. Andy and then she pulls the betting off the bed and what she finds horrifies. Her under the covers was the battered and bloodied body of her roommate. Andy and there was so much blood around the chest area that that and there was also a pillow covering her entire head and I couldn't tell for sure if it was andy or not she pulled the pillow off and she saw what she described as and this is a quote the most horrible agonizing facial features that she ever seen Andy's arm was back behind under head and there were also cut marks on her right wrist. There were stab wounds to Andy's abdomen upper body back shoulders torso antes mattresses waterbed and the mattress had multiple punctures and was leaking everywhere so indies cause of death was determined to be multiple stab wounds and some of which for more than six inches deep in total andy had fourteen stab wounds including numerous defensive wounds on her fingers and rest one of which penetrated penetrated down to her muscle. The murder weapon had been removed from a butcherblock knife set from there. Catch it. What terrified Theresa further other was that Glenn had killed Andy Wall Theresa had been sleeping on the couch and denso quietly so that means that she got home to insane chain saw that all the lights were on their door was shut? They shared a room and she passed it on the couch and she knows this. She knows it hadn't happened because when she woke up per person has gone Glenn had robbed the place in taking her purse wow so sh- he could have killed her while she's sleeping on the couch easily and but what he probably why he didn't is probably because he didn't think Theresa was home so when he came out he was probably shit. I I should probably just take what I can bounce bail as opposed to like risk Kerr yelling a neighbor hearing whatever but he very easily could have the Glenn of terror was now national news and Glenn was added to the FBI's ten. Most wanted list in the whole country was on edge especially every family member of his victims and terrified women across the country. We're left to wonder is Glen Rogers coming to my state next because nobody knew where he was and he'd she killed people in Multiple States California then to Mississippi then to Tampa dealing with this really yeah. You'RE NOT GENO serial killer. That's like in my t exactly it could strike anywhere anytime very bundy s yes and this man who possessed the power. ERTA charmers victims on a whim could be anywhere and arrest warrants were issued for him in Florida Mississippi and California and particularly terrifying an interesting interesting part of Glens crimes is he was leaving marks. He was using his real name wherever he went and he wanted people to know it was him he was trying to make a name for himself and they believe Hughes enjoying the killing and the fear that he was instilling across the entire country and he's like a mixture of like it's similar to what bt K. was doing. It's like he was enjoying it. He was enjoying notoriety. Ted Bundy was sort of transient in that he was popping around to avoid getting caught and then just the charming of the women it is very he was winning them over starting relationships in then would do that and then just disappear undoing the going through the idea of doing the love bombing with this car and saying I'm giving you a car and everything like that just to get them in a vulnerable situation and then killing them. I gotTa say though Jack. How many times have you been girl and I'm saying this because I have where it's like. A very handsome man walks into a bar and you're like Oh shit that guy is so my typo yeah and then you were so excited when he your his type two and you hit it off and you have another drink together and you do this whirlwind thing thing I mean that's how all my relationships have actually started me too and that when we're reading through this it is such a normal type of wait a meeting a guy and it you know the friends leave and then you're just left together and you don't ever think that you're being put in a very scary or dangerous situation not only that too. It's like for example. Andy first of all had a roommate. You know what I mean like. Glenn wasn't like I'm going to pick a woman alone. It's like I have a roommate who will come home if there was ever anything wrong. I have someone looking out for me same thing Sandra in Los Angeles she actually left to Glens friends and Glen Yeah they. He took a separate car. They were supposed to follow each other and it's like you leave with a bunch of friends. You don't you're not alone. It just seems he was an expert expert. Just making people feel safe and comfortable comfortable so as more info about Glen emerged it was revealed that he was also wanted for murder of his former roommate who was a family friend named.

"Glenn Rogers swooped into Linda Prices Life at the Mississippi State Fair and within three weeks he not only completely ruined her life but he stole it as well leaving her daughter crystal and the rest of her family shattered and left to pick up the pieces. The thing is Linda wasn't the first beautiful redhead he seduced and murdered in cold blood nor would she be the last on our last US episode. We left off at the point where the police officers in Mississippi Handling Linda's case had connected with police department. Other jurisdictions were investigating vicious. She's homicides that it's similar ammos to that of Linda's and each woman had last been seen with the cazenove killer the cross country killer the man known as Glen Rogers Linda Prices Family is left in the throes of this nightmare of losing Linda Glenis missing and there's a nationwide manhunt in hunt underway to locate him in every day that Glenn remained free safety of women across the country was at risk. We still have crystal with us today to help. Take us through the remainder of her experience. Not only was it fear from only find now that there's other victims and you know it's hard for these. He's families and empathize with these families. They're going through the same thing we're going through their living a hail like we're going room and fear of Hammy more niche films. Are they're gonNA be are. They going to catch him. They ever catch him. Where's he at it. Was it was a nightmare. It was truly a nightmare as police searched for him. They started a piece together. His movements prior to his arrival in Mississippi so although Glenn was from Hamilton Ohio he was a drifter type and often often traveled and worked traveling carnivals around the country he was a carney and in one thousand nine hundred five he was living in Los Angeles California more specifically he was living in the valley and had an apartment on Woodman Avenue and it's no surprise that as violent tendencies followed him there. Glenn beat various girlfriends he'd been involved with breath and he'd been arrested for attacking two men in Hollywood with a knife which landed him a stint in jail and although those men survived the attack at Glen Lynn would start killing women by the summer of Nineteen Ninety five glens reign of terror began on September twenty ninth nineteen ninety-five around six thirty a m a nurse at the Laura would convalescent hospital which is located on Victoria Boulevard in. La pulled up to the hospital drove car into the parking lot behind the building in the corner of the lot. She could see a pickup truck with. Colorado plates parked near some trash cans and it was by itself. There's no other cars around the driver's side door was slightly ajar and she could see an arm and elbow in part of collegue of a man who is leaning into the truck towards the passenger side as if he was reaching for something from across the vehicle the man she saw pad shaggy shoulder-length Sandy hair and was wearing jeans and a short sleeve shirt so the nurse got out of her car car and when she looked back at the truck she noticed that there was smoke billowing up from underneath the hood of the car but the blonde man was still fiddling around inside and she was sketched out understandably she ran inside and told her colleagues when a group of them came out to see what was going on in the truck the truck was completely the engulfed in flames so when firefighters arrived on the scene they discovered a body in the cab of the pickup and the smell of gasoline permeated aided the scene as well in the lower extremities of the female body inside the truck were charred down to the bone but interestingly the floor of of the carpet underneath the body was mainly intact indicating that gasoline had been poured over the body and surrounding areas of the passenger compartment as opposed to the fire air coming from the actual explosion from the engine of the car so they could tell at this point it was looking like Ersan and when the LAPD homicide detectives arrive they examined the vehicle and there discovered a ladies handbag and it contained documents and photos as well as a marriage certificate found in the pickups APPs locked metal compartment in the back of the pickup the name on the documents belong to thirty three year old Sandra Gallagher and she was a redhead. The forensic pathologist who performed the autopsy on Sandra's body described her as quote severely charred down to the muscle she had bruising or bleeding on the right and left stern avoid muscles a hemorrhage on the right side of the lower part of her voice box and on the left side of her voice box bruising to the thyroid gland broken cartilage on the left side of the throat and multiple hemorrhages inside her talk and they said he Sandra had died from being strangled to death and she had also been in sexually assaulted so once the detectives had her name they were able to quickly track down Sandra's husband and Sandra was a Santa Monica native so this was was in van is oh this was in the valley and she was from Santa Monica so it wasn't that hard to track down her sort of next of kin when they spoke to him. They learned that the last time he had spoken to his wife was the night before she called him and said that she was at a bar called MC reds in Van Nuys in that she she intended to stay there for a few more hours she was singing. Karaoke with some new friends that she had made and basically after he had received this call from her they hung up he expected her home later but she never came and when they go to Grad they speak to bartenders and employees there who helped them paint a picture of the previous evening. Sandra had been in the bar the night before for many hours made friends with some of the employees and the regulars there who learned that she recently won twelve hundred dollars in the state lottery and she was out celebrating rightfully so she was driving the Ford F one fifty pickup truck with Colorado license plates that was she was found in because she recently got the car from her father who just died who had lived in Colorado and on the night she came in. She was wearing a pair of distinctive hoop earrings. She had had gone to McBride's in the early afternoon. Started playing pool glen came in and around seven o'clock pm he had recently become a new regular showing up to the bar two or three times a week during the latter part of September of nineteen ninety five so they talked to a particular female bartender and she described Glenn as being persistent he was always asking for her number was pushy about it and if the first time she said no Glenn showed up in the grads during each of her shifts for the next three weeks seeks constantly repeatedly asking for her phone number he would buy her roses and pull out roles of hundred dollar bills and by her by drinks for her and everyone at the bar and tipper big she said Glen had been with Sandra the night before and he was wearing cowboy boots blue jeans and Brown leather belt with one of those fancy cowboy style belt buckles is bleach blonde hair was long and it was feathered and he had had a neatly trimmed beard and Mustache so paint that in your head he approached Sandra who quote brushed him off and she continued to play a pool but Glenn as he was was persistent and Sandra eventually warm to him and they started talking and Glenn and was there with a few friends eventually they all left including Sandra. She was never seen again until she was found on fire behind the hospital and the Savak Kathak reds new Glenn's name now so did the lapd they located his address and arrived at his apartment on October fifth nineteen ninety-five four days after Sandra's murders so this is the nineties. It's ninety five. It's not as instance I mean. I feel like if this had happened. Now you could be at a suspect's house the same day a or the next day with warrants and such it took four days which is pretty fast. I think considering kind of the nuances of all of this so police this believed that Glenn had killed Sandra and they wanted to arrest him but as we know he was long gone on a Greyhound bus on his way to Jackson Mississippi sippy or he'd meet Linda Price at the Mississippi State Fair three days later so we know that Glenn Killed Linda the night.

"Over time time. We've been seeing a lot of that here lately for sure. Last year's pulse center was last week's winner Denny Hamlin and Oh who could forget this last winter chase Elliott so-called dramatic battle of Martin Church junior there that was awesome running out of gas. Jimmy Johnson had to push them back to the start. Finish line any missed the turn. He missed big the big turn one. on with a one to go or something yeah troops was unable to capitalize because your gas any it was exciting that those final laps were amazing? It was it really was and You can check out all that action this year. We'll see if it's let's see if it lives up to what happened last year well. It won't be the same well. You never know that would be weird. How Are we Martin Church Chase Elliott. They go into turn one. He misses the turn there OUGHTA gas. Have we ever seen a race exactly the same that's a great question. That would be interesting. Doubt it but <hes> yeah Sunday three PM Eastern on N._B._C. if they can do the exact same thing last year that would be hysterical drivers. Willie doing well at Watkins Glen. All right it fuzzy sally as we begin with him like we said last year has the one win one top five and one top ten. I believe that's all one stat average. average finishes nine point zero fourth-best as bad how Denny Hamlin he has a win here not really not a road course as but he's been much better than last few seasons three top five six top tens and a pole <unk> averaged seventeen point three you can take the next one to think I know why hurricanes has a here's a track three top five nine top tens and average finish a fourteen thirteen point seven eight six he also got into a fistfight with Juan Pablo Montoya once here. That's right that's right. They left their helmets on. Though there really wasn't much of a fistfight.
