The field so I thought it was you garden but you said, no, this is way too big for my garden. You've just been doing a session in POC yeah. Oh. Yeah. All Day about full sessions today. So it's been a pretty long day all the all the work, the analysis and coaching everything I do is outside. So Yes. I've literally just finished and now with you to the might be a little background noise but that's right. It's authentic. You can hear Shane. You can Shane side. In the field. So what you've been doing today, what is Like what is a session with you like? Well, it very much depends on the person that I'm working with Soda. Kinda workshops really aren't generic they're very much based on the individual. All my work is about movement. So I guess how the session would star is getting the runner to literally run runaround move around an audio, a lot of video analysis of that. As I said, everything's outside in the natural environment. So start with video analysis, different speeds different angles have a look at that video with the runner, and then really the workshop begins because that's when you of see what you're going to be working on Some pretty clever technology is wild to look running dynamics and everything is videoed. And yet and that really. Wants to achieve. Get into this chain, we did have a little bit of a chat move into more detail you know specifically around..

"To me. It's amazing everything. The boy has said is exactly the account told James Houston's father and also my mother. There's no way this child could have known that thought. Yup when James was six years old in two thousand four. His father took him to a reunion of veterans. Who had served on no Toma when he was there? James was able to recognize one of his old mates after sixty years. His parents stood in awe as he stated. They're so old so that's the end of that story. Gosh that's crazy. I know that one freaked me out a lot. It's amazing though is how else really if if reincarnation isn't the answer how else would children know about these details at such young ages too? It's not like they've researched Ya. I mean there's no way a two year old could get online and figure out what a drop tank is no. I didn't even know what a drop tank was. I still don't name. Wow I know so. Moving on to our third and final story Cameron Macauley. Let's get into this so cameron. He lived his whole life in Glasgow Scotland but ever since he started talking at the age of two he has been telling his family about a previous live on the island of Barra which is situated off the west coast of Scotland Cameron who lives with his mother Norma. He started talking about a White House that overlooked the sea in the each and he went on to explain how there were airplanes that used to land on the beach and also that he was very fond of a black and white dog. He'd had whilst he was there the family had actually never been to Bara and it was over two hundred miles away from where they lived to get there. It would take them an hour by plane or longer by see. His Dad on the island was called Shane. Robertson who evidently died by being knocked over by a car cameron's actual words were. She didn't look both ways. My Gosh just not funny but but also a PSA to look both ways right exactly one of the strangest subjects was the toilets if he couldn't believe it okay he to keep complaining that on. Baras parents had three toilets but his new house didn't have enough toilets for him so he would complain about that. Oh my gosh that's great. I know we were so. He also spent ages drying his house. Which looks like along white building standing on the beach not his house though the other guys house right right right. He would sit on his chair talking about his parents. Brothers and sisters and as time went on he got more and more upset about leaving his other mother he would cry continuously and say that he wished his mother could see that he was right. Well I had to feel heartbreaking. I'm reading MERTON MOM real wrong. The story soon came to the attention of a film company and after listening to a story his nursery school teacher suggested that maybe they should film him and go to the island. After contacting the Heritage Center to find out about the house they were unable to find records about any house being owned by the Robertson family overlooking the bay to say they were disappointed. Would be an understatement. They drove around the island looking for the house but couldn't even see one that resembled Cameron's description then. They realized they were looking in the wrong direction. The planes at Cameron saw would be coming in from the wrong side of the bay. They realized that if cameron saw them from his bedroom window they had to be going the other way eventually. The hotel called them and told them that yes there was a Robertson family home on the other side of the island so they started to drive cameron there. They didn't tell them where they were going but when they arrived cameron jumped out of the car and straight to the house. Oh my gosh. He knew it immediately but as Cameron walked through the door he began to get very pale and quiet up until now he had recognized the exact gay at the front. He knew where to go and was so excited. But upon entering the house he stood to one side slightly uncertain then. He took off running around the house pointing out all the rooms where he had lived. He showed them all the nooks and crannies and the three toilets much to his mother surprise when they went into the garden. He took them to a secret entrance that he'd been talking about for years so basically they found this house and then later they go on to find this guy's descendant and she actually had pictures of the planes an of the black and white dog that he always talked about how fat I mean. It's hard to even wrap my brain around it. It's like how would he know about the secret garden in like all of these specific things? And like why was he? So fixated on the toilets. So weird listen. I don't really know I love it though it's crazy it's crazy cool. It is crazy cool. I mean I've sometimes wonder myself if like the vivid dreams that I'm having that seem very realistic if they're not other people's memories oh I one hundred percent believe they are someone else's memories that's so weird to think about isn't it yes and like how is that you know quote. Unquote DATA transferred. Yeah you know in any sense of the word. Oh my gosh like this makes this makes my mind. Turn turn turn so. There's actually a ton of stories out there like these in fact. U.K. to ban sale of new gas, diesel and hybrid cars

"The ban of sale on on gas I guess gas based vehicles in the U. K. and they've actually stepped up the timeline I I'd seen I guess twenty forty and some other countries may be some other dates what what's going on what's the new date now for this proposed ban yes a ban on new gas and diesel cars by twenty thirty five eighty something that various governments particularly in Europe have been investigating and exploring the U. K. had already said that it would do this by twenty forty so this is being brought forward by another five years it's one of the more ambitious targets of its kind friends said it'll do the same by twenty forty Norway which is the world leader on electric because says it wants to have gas and diesel because eliminated by twenty twenty five just five years from now but Britain's a bigger economic power the No Way and say more attention is going to be paid to its commitments on this sort of thing and it's being announced as Britain steps up plans for a U. N. climate summit which the U. K.'s hosting later this year this is the latest in the annual meetings of the U. and hosts around the world the most famous one in recent years being the Paris meeting in twenty fifteen where the Paris climate accord which agreed it became a rallying cry to president trump on the election campaign trail he would pull the U. S. out and he did so he can be pretty Wallace tile events and the next one take place in Glasgow Scotland in November so this is Britain at trying to prove to the world that is serious about tackling climate change one question regarding the the gas powered vehicles may and maybe a maybe there's a definite answer but hybrid vehicles are they included in this band in twenty thirty five since they're they're partially electric I get a new hybrid because would be out as well wow is all about tilting ever saying much further to wards and electric vehicles and you know the U. K. in recent years is a conservative government has this is particularly care is that this government which is not necessarily the ones that you might associate with with being most was that the pro climate change tackling measures has been committed for couple years now to making Britain at net zero in Mr as they call it so is the net emissions of greenhouse gases brought down to zero by twenty fifty that's a much broader across the board targeted the U. K. has set down but it's something that they talk a lot about but ultimately if you're a prime minister in twenty twenty you're not gonna be a prime minister in twenty fifty almost certainly and so are you ready any how to counsel to and the government had its own advisers say the U. K. might be talking a good game but it's way off track actually meeting any of these girls I know that you you are you're in the London area and just anecdotally speaking pollution wise and I've heard stories about you know some of the air quality sensors there have recorded some high level the missions comparable to China not the entire city but some isolated locations just generally speaking I mean what what I mean what what do you see the air quality is like in in London demi is regularly rated as being very poll and the mass office described it as poisonous and toxic and and it does just London and you also have issues in other parts of the country with with because in particular wetland ask a good mass transit network but other parts diving so because I have a present elsewhere as well in London has that problems in particular on the continent has really difficult issues we would attack quality sometimes Milan is between banning calls on various days recently initially it something that in Europe has been is an issue with with the pollution levels and the air quality said I mean other safe care is seeing a particular conservative prime minister standing up in and adopting these particularly ambitious goals on the world stage but I think they do see that it's of the vote when at amp to keeping young people Boris Johnson the prime is a said yesterday that as Britain was the first country in the world he said to industrialize he said that the U. K. had a responsibility to the world two at lead the way on cleaning up its act afterwards Z. getting at is he getting a positive response from from most of the parties in in parliament well I mean the responses particularly being for an environmental groups who likes this idea but they say at twenty thirty five bodies too late they want it done by twenty thirty at the latest and then the car industry it is also a big cool on this because they say the the door so make is all moving towards zero emissions they are planning for the future but they say that the government here is just me used to go by the space of the industry and for consumers by suddenly yanking mistake forward by another five years you know there is the opportunity head if your comic if you're gonna have a captive market if you can be a leader in electric because in twenty thirty five you can a captive market is to win the able to buy anything else but I also know a great deal of time the comic is to get the house in order and get products ready to go that's a great point Simon time time absolutely does fly and with world events it seems like a G. act that you blink and it's been two decades for sure Simon thank you so much for your insight and thanks for giving us an update on that because oftentimes what happens overseas does make its way over across the pond for sure have a great day thanks for your insight thank you time Simon

You know, we've been we've been sort of easing into this podcast world, and and sort of easing into our backgrounds. L huge music back on music background. Obviously when you combine it all came together perfectly at the college football playoff championship game. Because imagine dragons was there to play the halftime show now humble brag few years ago. I was in Glasgow Scotland with the vampire we were up there. We were playing show we got into Scotland a day early. We were walking down the streets. Like this little die bar. There's nobody is like two hundred people maybe fitting in the club we were playing and we're walking down. There's another dive bar down the street, and there's a band loading them. It's imagine dragons they just put out radioactive. I was obsessed with the single told the guys like we gotta go. So we walked up, and you know, we talked to the people were like, hey, we're playing on the street tomorrow and ended up creating this like many friendship, and so from that we all ended up that night. We went to the show went out drinking afterwards hanging out with the magic dragon. So I can say a party with Rockstars. We went out we had good time for the night, and especially the Dzhumber Daniel. He and I have kept in touch over the years super talented, dude, please a million different instruments. He's done orchestral scores for movies. I mean, he's not just the drummer in a rock band. So now, all of a sudden, you've got this band. That is the most download abandoned the world last year coming in and playing the halftime show a big opportunity for ESPN, obviously disorders show off our flexor muscle for what we can do for halftime show. But also a great opportunity for a band to get in front of that sort of an audience to play for that. You know, we all look natural was overplayed this year, we can emit that right? We're just friends talkin natural was over blade, but being the most overplayed band in the world around a sporting event at the worst thing. So the guys were gracious enough before they went in and did their after performance to give me a sit down with them. And exclusive I know there's video of it up on YouTube. But we wanted to let you hear that exclusive. And let me tell you something sit down put your feet up grab grab a bottle of water. Whatever libation you want and listen because there's some staggering emissions here about what the biggest band in the world is set to do this year. Check..

"We didn't do that are all all types are in B-flat Highland. Really? Okay. Cool elephants sessions here at world cafe were in Glasgow with them so Edinburgh and Glasgow or cities that we hear about music coming from the bulk of your band still lives in in the highlands rate. So tell me a little bit about what makes you wanna stay. Stay in the highlands versus moved to these more music Centric cities. We've we we all have lived away from hunts and minion. Move back a couple years ago and part of that I run money, and and moved back, home and think you might. Yes. But also we I missed the highlands. Them for for our radio audience. So. Of the Manassas a city, but you go five minutes I city and you've got the mountains, and you've got Lucknow, and you've got all this amazing scene. Yeah. Part of it was I did miss kind of like I love. I love living in Newcastle for years as well. And. Glasgow's amazing set you had Muslims and say, and I love going to these places. And but there's something about I mean, there's someone about highlands. Guys are taking this music all around the world. Really, right. You've played in Australia. You've played in North America. Lots and lots and lots of places. So tell me about what playing this type of music in those places does for your sense of national pride. I suppose I mean, it's barely the we're getting invited to these places. First of all is amazing. But because the something from that because we're playing all their own compositions, an old music that we put together as a band that is nice when you can get recognition in your own country for about brilliant. But then the fact that you can take a halfway across the world. And someone's still sees the the site of is pretty cool. Really? So I mean, there's not as much as simple as that. I think the fact that we can play music and still get an audience dancing around as like this. Great. You know, perfect music. Okay. Yeah. This is going to be our last one. Thank you. Thank you very much for. Coincidence. Performing tingles that is elephants sessions, man. Oh, man. That was so much fun. In case. You couldn't tell we had a pretty great time there. I want to thank the whole crew at glow. Worm in Glasgow. Scotland thank you to the band elephants sessions. You heard you and smiley on fiddle. "I do men exaggerate how many sexual partners they've had. They did. Oh, they do. Glasgow Scotland and the answer is yes, we do. But it is not for the reason. Maybe the most of us would think we're not trying to make ourselves sound like we're all Burt Reynolds, for example. It's because of just the difference between men and women. If you ask a woman how many men that she slept with she'll go back in her brain. And she will recall all of them in count them. At least most women will men will just. Give give give or take figure, you know. The rounded up board at a number like, maybe you've been with. Eight for example. And you say about about ten more about a dozen because you can't recall specifically, so men are really bad at recalling anything specifically. That's true. So you just kinda rounded up so, but that's the reason behind it Mel round up the number. I would argue however, it has something to do with your listening audience. How's that? Well, if I'm sitting around in a bar with my buddies or something like that. And you're having a discussion like that. Hundred calculator. If you're sitting there at dinner with your, you know, your well, not that it would come up. If you're sitting there with your pastor at dinner or something. In my case. I'm not the least bit ashamed of this. I haven't been with that many. I got married. The first time when I was nineteen years old that has a tendency to cut back on your certainly does. Yeah. So in with me, it was never about numbers. It was at least until until you got married, then it was all about numbers. Right. Six ten.

"That means about ten to twelve touchdowns, per year ninety. To one. Hundred. Catches over thousand yards twelve hundred yards thirteen hundred yeah if he stays. Healthy Ivanko, del Beckham absolutely lives up to his contract and again. That's the going rate for wide receivers at this point kind of curious. To see, how this continues to escalate with these contracts you know they're getting bigger and. Bigger Julio Jones will most likely reset the market altogether so it's a five year, extension is, he gonna come back begging for. More money, three years four years now I'm not sure but. Yeah I think he. Absolutely lives up, to, this contract he's the real deal Do you, think the NFL will move to eighteen games within. The next five years I I do I do I remember we went from fourteen to sixteen in the late. Seventies sixteen feels. About right But I think the NFL owners are gonna want this eighteen and I. Think a lot of, people are getting tired of the four game four week NFL preseason so. I, think we'll we'll definitely move it up to eighteen with the next collective bargaining agreement. Well location would make you. Want to go back to college after spending one day there one day there you don't I remember one time I is doing play by play for NFL Europe and, I remember I got up a plane left Los Angeles where. I lived at the time flew ten hours got off a plane and I at Glasgow Scotland oh this, is a depressing city I don't know what day it is I've seen. The, sun for like twenty four straight hours what is going on here I want to. Go back home I needed. To figure it didn't know a soul but you know you get over, that's part of the international experience so that that might make me want to go back to, simpler times my college days at Indiana University.

"You know how the posture years people have been saying the world is on file. Well, it turns out it actually is global temperatures. Reached extreme highs this past week. Something scientists have been warning of is part of the effects of climate change this map from the university of Maine chose maximum temperatures around the globe yesterday. Look at that map, people. We've made the world so hard that it looks like the earth. God, it's s. t. results back and it's got all of them. Why don't you use condoms or why? Because they choke turtles. Oh, I get it. Now I get it. And we've been hearing about global warming for a while right? When you see the numbers, you realize it's no joke in Denver, Colorado. The city tied is record all time high of one hundred and five degrees on June twenty. Eighth, a new world record was set in the Middle East last week along the coast of Oman. The temperature never dropped below one hundred eight point, seven degrees over a twenty four hour period and Glasgow Scotland, the temperature reached a record breaking eighty nine point four degrees on June twenty eighth. That's more than twenty degrees hotter than its usual mild summer temperature. Wow. There really is nowhere to escape this heat. Even Scotland is feeling and I know I know that ninety degrees doesn't sound that bad, but don't forget. We're talking about Scottish people here. All right, then built for that much sun. When you have skin that pale, even sunscreen cannot help you. You put it on the sunscreen is like, yeah, I can't do everything. Man. You got to do something skin to do some of the work. I can't be SPF everything. This is insane. And it turns out that climate change doesn't just make the worse. It's making humans worse. Climate change poses a huge threat to national security this according to a new Pentagon report. In our defense strategy, we referred to climate change as a threat multiplier because it has the potential to exacerbate many of the challenges we are dealing with today from infectious disease to terrorism. Yeah, that's right. More climate change means more terrorism. That's insane. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if ISIS starts working this into their recruitment videos. If you join us, you'll with diag- Laureus that against the western infidels. Also we have an conditioning tater 'isms inevitably. So. Makes you want to join ISIS, right? Yeah. And the hotter, it gets the worst. The world's problems will be so no surprise countries like Japan doing anything. They can to cool things down two years to go until the take care of Olympics in twenty twenty. But as the city continues its countdown to the event, there is rising concern that it'll be too hot to host the biggest sporting events on the planet. They are doing if you things they are going to paint the streets white to make the sun bounce back and not heat up the ground. You see now there's a solution painting the streets whites, although that might cause more problems because now the road will cost so much glare that you can't see when you drive, so they'll have to fix the glare by covering the road with giant sunglasses, right? Yeah. But then now the road has gloss over it. So Japan will have to invent hover cost. They don't break the glass, but then the hover caused we'll just crashed into birds and all that squawking is going to wake up Godzilla and then he'll come on land and he'll see that. The Olympics on Tokyo, and he'll be like, I wanted to come and the Japan will be like, oh, no, this is what humans only God's a little bit like, oh, you're discriminating against me. And then Japan, eleven nasty lawsuit on its hands and it'll be ready, horrible. I might have smoked some weed before I started this story. The point is though. And look at least Japan is trying to fix the problem. I think we should be wearing to. Okay. So before the we'd, whereas here's some ideas. Number one, stick with me here. Number one, the color white reflects sunlight away from the earth, right? So from now on when the sun is at its hottest, all the white people you go outside. All right outside, and then then the sunlight back to the sun and then all black people will be inside. We'll just inside and then you can tell us how to win. All right. Yeah, here's another idea. Here's another sea levels are rising. We've got to stop that..
