The private market will not make the investments that will give people affordable housing in the state of Washington. "The middle of the season where Seattle's defense was starting to surge a little bit. It was very much a byproduct of some weather and some lackluster offense as they were facing the defense just isn't that good. And then you look at all the things that San Francisco does extremely well in offense. It's the Achilles heel of the Seattle defense. Seahawks are 28th against the run since week ten, forty-niners offensively, second in EPA, per rush over that stretch. You got CMC running well now that he's fully healthy. You just got Mitchell back last week. It looks like he's been shot out of a cannon because he's been working his way back, but he's kind of healthy there. So that's a nice one, two punch now. Seattle can't cover tight ends or running backs. That was the focal point of our breakdown the last time these two teams played, the Seahawks are giving up over 14 yards per reception to tight ends. Seattle's 31st in yards per target allowed to the tight end position. They also give up more than 8 and a half yards per reception to running backs as well. And we just know Kyle Shanahan likes to sprinkle those kind of players into the system into his offensive attack. I think we'll hear again all week about quarterback struggling in their first playoff start. The sample size is certainly large enough in the data is conclusive enough to suggest that it's a thing. So we'll see the game plan for Brock purdy, but if you just kind of know Kyle Shanahan's mentality and his makeup, it's very much we're just running my offense. I don't really care who's running it. So I don't think Brock purdy is going to be baby any more than he would have been in any other game. What's interesting though, Brock purdy, is he's been almost unstoppable against defenses that don't blitz him. He's completing nearly 73% of his passes when he's not blitzed and you look at his adjusted yards per pass attempt, 9.6 yards. The Seahawks don't blitz. Seattle didn't blitz him the first time, they play with the second lowest blitz rate full season metrics. It's not really the way you want to attack that kind of quarterback. So it'll be interesting to see you would think Brock purdy is going to be pretty comfortable there. And then the other thing here is the last time they played, he didn't have debo Samuel. So for me Todd, I don't want Seattle at the second number below the key. So if I'm betting aside in this game, it's trying to figure out how to get the forty-niners in an advantage teaser at this point with it being down to 9 and a half. No, it makes a ton of sense. I mean, when you look at it, we always talk prices, the ultimate determinant. And so the prospect of taking ten and even ten and a half in some cases. Obviously attractive for a lot of pro betters with such a low total when you do the quick math trying to figure out where Seattle would have to get to put yourself in a very good spot. The one thing to keep in mind if the number does get up into that double digit range, we have not seen double digit underdogs fair all that well. It doesn't happen a ton during the wild card round. One in ten straight up, just three and 8 against the spread. The only straight up win coming by the 2019 Titans against the Raven. So you do see a separation of the has and have nots, but I think the one point that you made that a lot of people look at waiting for Brock purdy to turn into turn into the de facto pumpkin. Gino Smith, despite his laundry list of NFL experience being in and out of meetings, locker rooms, et cetera, has never been asked to perform on a stage this large. Clearly no target in his back go out there and play loose and free.

It leaves the Lions Seahawks and packers all fighting for the final AFC wild card birth. The packers and Lions go head to head next weekend while Seattle will try to beat the LA rams. The Lions beat the bears 41 ten. The Buccaneers wrap up the AFC south by beating Carolina 30 to 24. On the ice it was the hurricanes beating the Devils in a shootout 5 to four rangers beat the Panthers in Florida final score 5 to three and the kraken take out the islanders in Seattle, final score four to one. So they start blitzing them all of a sudden in golf is completely help us. They make this huge comeback. They missed two point conversion on one of the worst plays I've ever seen in my life. They missed another two point version. They didn't missing three two point versions. They scored four touchdowns to two field goals and ended up with like 27 points. So whatever it was or four touchdowns, one field. But anyway, they finally get this touchdown. They cover the teas. There's a minute and a half left. The lions are going to lose again. It's Jared Goff, a bunch of receivers have never heard of in my life. They go into a prevent and just let him throw ten yard all of a sudden, we're not going to buzz them anymore. Tenure passes, moves on down the field. He gets to the 20 yard line with like 12 seconds left. Huge cushion. Guy gets out of bounds to the 11. It's like, all right, now this is like, you can fire these in. 8 defensive backs, four of whom are like protecting the Hail Mary. Even though the art line, the other two are playing so far off that the guy who gets it when he touched out just as a quick curl and nobody touches him, he catches it. He's not even touched as the worst defense. It was really bad. Ever seen. It was up there with the jets raiders, right? When the jets were winless last year, and they just let they just let a fly pattern go. Yeah, but that looked out. Yeah, that looked like almost like no, it looked like that was fixed. Three because my logic was monday night. Game was so bad and so on watchable. Thanks to two inept quarterbacks that i thought people would go to the manning's for some entertainment. It didn't work out that way in week. Two and three they got one point. Eight one point nine million viewers and then they at one point six for this week now some people said maybe it was because they took three weeks off but my thing is the worst. The game is the better is for the manning's what did you. This week was a great episode. But marshawn lynch tom brady was off the charts. What did you watch any manning's this week. I did but i i do think that the layoff hurt them and i do think that the quality or lack thereof of the game hurt them. Because that's a match. You know me. I'm in a full block and get enough of it. That game was not even on my radar on monday night. So i had no interest in it and that i'm checking tweets as i'm watching. It goes watching the rangers hockey. And i see that brady was on so i flipped over right before half and i saw some of the clips of marshawn lynch than once. I put it on to watch brady from menon. Look i love those guys. It's been an entertaining. It's been a nice buildup. And i was into it after the initial hit in week. One those going to be a disaster. Then they started to settle in as the build up. I would think the cowboys would be up there in terms of among the favors just because they're path to the playoffs with their division being worse than we thought it would be is certainly going to be favorable. Although i do think they're road schedules top. They still need to go to minnesota. That's after the bye. And they're going to new england next week but those games are not as difficult as we thought they still go to arrowhead. I believe they've played. I think that's the they've gone to the chargers in one so it's tough schedule but they're in the mix here man like they if they can keep maintain the defense. There's something to be said about that. That's been very impressive. What they've done defensively this year. Especially since putting michael parsons putting him in a pass rushing role that and they're going to get some guys back to us. The year goes on both on offense and defense. So they'll hopefully get healthy like they have. They have is gonna chances anybody in the nfc challenge. The buccaneers monday night thoughts anything. I lean ravens. But i'd rather tease it. Teased with the cowboys. That would be the only teaser out. I would prefer to teaser. Maybe opened up for next weekend. "Giants bench Eli Manning this week in favor of rookie Daniel Jones skew. I was gracious after his demotion but hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw thinks he should say goodbye to New York so I hope he lives okay with it because he's such a good dude. I hope he's okay with it. I'm sure he isn't if they came to me in Pittsburgh after two weeks and they said Terry we're going to have to go with so and so I'd shake their hands I'd pack my bags and go home because that would be a hard pill to swallow after all of that well allies making twenty three million dollars this year in twenty twenty and he did start the season.
