I think Donald Jr. I know I forgot her last name She used to be on Kilfoyle. Okay. She used to be on Fox. And now she's with the campaign now, But boy, was she she I like that She had a lot of them and vigor. Have you ever had vim and vigor? Don't put him together. I'm telling you, it'll kill you, but she had a lot of them and vigor. Yeah. I don't know what it means. Women Bigger. Sounds good. Here is Joan. Joan. Good morning. How are you? I'm good. Hey, listen, I wanted to talk to you really quick about an experience I had with upper, You know, Education College is my college roommate got her PhD and worked her way up into running a department at a conservative, Um Kentucky University, which Was really not a very good match because she's a bleeding heart. Liberal. Oh, my God. Why did they hire Oh, my God. It was unbelievable. But anyway, so I went to visit her about two years ago and I was looking through. On the syllabus is for the classes that were in her department. And there was one that I just about dropped by I t it wass how to become a terrorist and I was like, what in the world is in shadows where we believe he at the university. That in order to understand the mind of a terrorist, you have to, you know you have to understand them and you have to think about them and and then she kind of chocolate and she said Yeah, we teach him a hot. I'm not even exaggerating. We case. Um you know how they so bombs and stuff And you know, we've had some bomb university because of this class. And I was like What are you talking about? Are you serious? And she thought it was hilarious. I came home and called the FBI and they were like you're making this up. I was like, no, no, I really wish I wasn't and I haven't really spoken to her since. But I was appalled. Well, there are a lot of things going on in our universities. You know, sometimes I would like to take a close look at the University of Maryland. That is a huge college and I want a university actually. I wonder how much is going on there with the Confucius Institute, which is the Chinese institutes we have in our universities. What the professor's air teaching their you know, none of the governor's I know this From being in the Legislature. None of the governor's ever take a look at what's happening at the University of Maryland, even though it's a state institution and the taxpayers pay for it. They never. It's kind of like in a different world and they do what they want to do. Yeah, they do. And I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota badly and I got my masters degree at the University of Maryland and I'm appalled What I see is going on in both of those campuses, and I told them to stop calling me. That I would not give them one cent until they stop this liberal garbage that they're doing. They have destroyed both of those really, really exceptional school Now, isn't it amazing that We can say with the serious look on our face. That higher education has destroyed America. I would have my I am so glad my fun graduated from college. He came home one day from from college. He said, Mom, I cannot wait to graduate. I cannot take it any more. And I said what's going on? He said there you cannot. Write a paper. If you do not do the professor's political slant, I will fail and I said, What are you talking about? He said. Well, This was like about a two years ago. I said, What are you talking about? He goes well, you know about white privilege. I said, don't start on that, because all seriously do you know that Because you read me stories at night. I have white privilege. I said what I said you can go anywhere, library a church anywhere and get Joan. I hate.

"For five lines setting the scene for what we can expect this season as a result of the coronavirus joining us now to discuss disease Whalen global advisors chairman Chris spelling Chris thank you for standing by for us maybe this is the key takeaway from the bank earnings that we've gotten so far right how much the banks as setting aside the line loss provisions was a remarkable to you the numbers that we've seen so far no I I thought that Jamie Dimon in particular decided to go big and just take the number up quickly which is fine it's really a prison Tatian if you're you're taking cash in your movements of reserves so you're not actually spending the money yet for you say I've got losses coming so I think the whole industry is going to do that in my model it pick it up a hundred percent numbers double it and then I was going to double it again in the second quarter which consists of more or less the two thousand eight two thousand nine levels of reserve but the unemployment numbers a lot higher than if the key factor in most credit models so that when you start talking about twenty five percent unemployment you take those default estimates up as well you're more interviews like this one on Bloomberg television streaming live on Bloomberg dot com and on the Bloomberg mobile app or check your local cable listings breaking news twenty four hours a day good morning from London I'm Sandra kill help with this please big business flash now European stock markets all family in the green a risk on mood to sending the times higher by three percent the footsie gaining two point nine percent the stoxx six hundred up two point seven percent easy I made tentative steps to restart the US economy that's really boosting investor sentiment this morning trade is really looking polished stated this morning that show Chinese growth contracted for the first time since nineteen ninety two two thousand U. S. futures are also pointing to a higher I think we'll see seeing a rally in risk currencies today the Aussie dollar kiwi milky old gaining again curiously also bid at one a seven spot eight that is a pot because of dollar weakness today the payment on the spot index down one tenth of a percent recouping some of its earlier losses so to that end we are now seeing sterling and the euro fairly flat this morning ten year treasury yields of game two basis points to sixty four basis points ten year bond yields also slightly higher at negative forty seven ten year gilt yields holding at thirty basis points in commodities Corp of base metals all climbing gold is a bit weaker today down one point three percent at one thousand six hundred ninety five dollars a Troy ounce oil is mixed Dimond going on around the world sundress thank you the French president says China hasn't been fully transparent about its handling of the corona virus in an interview with the Financial Times Emmanuel macron said there were clearly things that have happened is that we don't know about he says it would be naive to claim that Beijing has been much better that's handling the pandemic Singapore witnesses it said these days Kereta finest cases double in a week yesterday a record seven hundred and twenty eight new infections were reported bringing the total in the past seven days to two thousand five hundred and seventeen foreign workers living in dormitories have been affected by the virus outbreak and Facebook has added warnings to forty million pieces of misinformation about the weeks users who like common to react to misleading posts will be shown messages in the news feed linking them to factual information about coronavirus people needs twenty four hours a day on it and QuickTake by Bloomberg palace by more than twenty seven hundred journalists and analysts symbol then one hundred and twenty countries I'm young gallons this is Bloomberg naira yeah thank you so much and now let's turn to the aviation industry and Abbas as saying the pandemic may force a tough call on permanent job cuts Seohyun Foley spoke exclusively to Bloomberg's guy Johnson about the challenges the play make cats customers are facing we have to face a very unprecedented situation and we're facing that reality now the situation of the airlines all customers it is a very difficult one most of them of their planes to a large extent on the ground that's unprecedented to have this at the global scale and therefore we have two adults we have challenges as when on the supply chain so we are combining for all the data points to to basically move forwards and what we've done in the last week was to define a new pollution writes a new partition planning by plane to be able to give the the right direction to all partners to also produce and adapt to the change in the demands of customers are in a new situation we have to add that to that new situation too what are you hearing from your customers so United over in the United States a little bit earlier wrong saying that demand for travel is essentially zero what are you hearing from other carriers well there's a very large diverse city of situation on the world the situation is not the same country by country or region by region and also L. line by line so what we're doing actually used to speak a very poor TV twelve customers individually to find solutions one by one to their to their concerns and actually the situation is to data what it is you mentioned the situation of the United States we have a similar situation with all the outlines but it's a very it's it's a very complex situation it's an order for a full full of those two adults and find the the height for forward this to look of uncertainty on when airlines would be back to service and when we will be back to normal and there which would be the shape of the recovery so that's what we're working on at the moment what do you think of the state say that is being given to certain carriers scam what we think and I think the priority is on the rescuing the outlines that the first hit by these depending you can obviously and no passengers as you say you know very healing took passengers flying and as a priority in my perspective is to support the airline's going for these very difficult situation and supporting the online he's also the best way to support the war supply chain so we're looking very much shot all customers data lines but as with the rest of the supply chain to to be to live in a very unprecedented the paid off challenges so we can keep moving forward and and he covering when the times would be better it looks like Boeing you'll compacts is gonna lost Washington at some point for some form of state aid do you have similar plans we are asking for support as I said before the yellow lines to the suppliers are we asking for support in different forms but noting in their capital from their governments that's good to hear just in terms of of how you see the story developing how much visibility do you actually have at the moment I would imagine very very little so talent the investment bank it was out with that with the reports of the last couple of days saying that it sees that cross the river is down forty to fifty percent over the next four years four to five years is that what the future looks like to you or do you think that the shock is going to be shorter and sharper well I don't have a crystal ball and we're all trying to assess as I said the the depth and the duration of the crisis we think there will be a large dice difference between the white bodies and and nobody's that a single family the the later we pull that vehicle up much faster what we see for this year and he's probability of something like minus thirty minus forty percent in terms of across the region I T. is that the two days on the signing of the situation but it's still very dynamic are we seeing the the the recovery in terms of passengers flying of behind the scenes China already so China is very interesting because it's a place where we can try to assess what would happen for the rest of the world but I think as a figure all food forty to fifty percent over the next four to five years in my view looks quite pessimistic I was at a CEO Gil Foley speaking exclusively to Bloomberg Boeing shares soared yesterday on the plan to reopen Seattle area jetliner factories the shares higher by almost nine percent and European equities phony the green up more than two percent U. S..
