"Coach Ed Orgeron, and then he comes in with that. He sounds like that guy in the overalls from water boy, But you don't understand a word He's saying, Oh, yeah, Look at what I'm looking around. I'm like like we could be punked. Is this what it's like? A. It's like a Louisiana football stereotype walked into the room. Oh, my God, he is. I mean, Deputy D a right now. Well, what he does what he's good at What doors you're on is good at and is this is if you look back everywhere he's been when he does come in. The situation with good players. He can coach him no doubt about it. You don't You don't take that away on gets people motivated. It gets people fired up. But then the problem is when the recruiting doesn't follow behind there And coordinators start to leave that you had with you before it kind of goes south and that it's not to say that he's a bad coach by any means, But but it's just his. His suit has followed him to Ellis. You. You're our recruiting expert. I mean, did they not get five star? Four star? Five star recruits up and down the line? Yes. No, I mean, they did. They did well, but you know you take some coordinators work better with coaches, etcetera. They the same. Same exact thing that happened to us see, because they were still getting the athletes. You know, Of course I'm Steve Starkey. Easy on their own accord laying in the lane Kiffin, etcetera. And then at Orgeron stepped in and then kind of the wheels just fell off. Let me ask you this question. You guys Thean Gery that job. Earl has to actually the injuries. We need to clarify this. I mean, this sounds almost like Teddy Bridgewater. Ask. I said that to my son last night. You're something. Yeah, The problem is What I hope does not happen with with Borough is the fact is that he goes because Teddy has never recovered from the injuries he had in Minnesota. And it just keeps happening and happening and happening, and I love Teddy Bridgewater as much love Lamar Jackson may be. In fact, I think Teddy just gets a bad rap, because because he's constantly being compared to Lamar. But I hope that that does not happen for Joe Burrow because he toward the HCL and the M C. L And there was another injury a involved in that too, that that I forget, but, yeah, He's got three injuries to that name. When you're talking about toll mile. I don't know about total reconstruction. I'm not gonna have pretended to be a will You put that you put the guy out there with no offensive line. I mean, it's like at least drive some offensive lineman and give birth to a solid start. You threw him up there with no offensive line that's gonna happen. Well, that's the that's the Bengal signature. You make huge investments in the backfield. And then, uh, and then they stick locker paper machine in front of them. Yeah, because bro is such an aggressive player and I love his style. I think he's a warrior. I hope you make a full recovery and he gets what he deserves. Reminds me a lot of Matthew Stafford in Detroit. He is an excellent quarterback. Unfortunately, that's he's hit the ceiling as long as he stays with Detroit. Got a point there to 7 40 20 wafer, maybe.

"Customer service at O'Reilly Autoparts Better parts, but prices every day. Rome. Are you still getting those hikes in brown? The 36 so honestly, no. No, because the air quality was so bad. The guy was so bad because of all the fires. And then the fire is recently were literally in my backyard. And then the air quality was worse. But even before that, I did kind of stopped on the ice for a while, mostly because the air quality and right around the time that the air quality got bad. I took it inside. And I was always going back and forth between my Palatinate. The hike, or I sometimes would do a brick where I would do both. Then I went on the pellet on and I made this adjustment. Where For the first three years I had the pal Itan. I'd go 45 minute rights exclusively nothing but 45 minute rights Because I was not that was challenging. And then one day I thought, you know what I I do better. I gotta do more. For a lot of different reasons, and I went to a 60. Then I want to do it again. And I just got obsessed. I got obsessed with the 60 minute rides and then I just kept doing the 60 minute rides. And I want to prove that that was the new norm. That wasn't something I did two or three times and then I back down and then I just stopped hiking and the air quality got worse and worse. So the answer is no. I have not begin the high sin. It doesn't mean that I won't But I've been all about the pellet on lately and the 60 minute ride. So no hikes, Maybe when the air quality gets better. Thank you for that. Brad in the 360. Adam Hawk me check in with you right quick, Speaking of hikes I know you're working really hard over there. Top button so broke. Bring me up to date you You took some time off because you had a bad neck at that time before you hurt your neck. Your road mileage was up to what Like how How much was I riding the bike at one time 20 to 40 Miles. Okay, And what was that, like? That was great. It's just uncomfortable position to be in for such a long time. And if you're not used to it, or you don't stretch it out properly, you could really I get some very uncomfortable injuries and some very uncomfortable right my pellets on every single day for an hour. I think the pellet on might be a little bit more conducive to less stress on the joints because you're taking a lot of road where if you will, with a lot of the shock coming through your handlebars in your eyes when you're outside long enough, I will. I won't. All right, so anyway, like if you make it If you have a 40 mile ride. How long would that take you? That took me three hours. Okay? Yeah. It was a good time. John of the beach and back. And then Thean Gery took three weeks. Okay, so then we talk about that one time you nearly got run over and you got spoked? Yep. How did you get hurt? It was a gift so stupid. It's your course we're talking about you. Well, imagine, like you're looking down at your phone texting for three straight hours, and then you can move your neck after that. That's kind of what that was like. I did not rotate enough. While I was in the saddle. These professional bikers will tell you all about it. I'm not a professional by any means. And so you know, you get a crazy stiff neck for three weeks. You can't do anything. Luckily, my guy Sharon Watts and walked me through some great physical therapy via YouTube. That helped out a lot, which was really nice, But you know, you combo that with getting sick and not drinking for a month, it was a very bizarre October for sure. Yeah, but what about your buddy is now what it's for? My weed? Yeah. Sober October, Mr Rome. Ok, alright. So sober, Sober October. How many weeks of training? Did you miss it? You say 34 weeks. You don't do any work out you went you went from like grinding it out every single day, dropping crazy amounts of Wade 40 Mile 20 to 40 Miles a day to an entire month of doing nothing. Yes, Yes. And what was that month, like, horrible Because you want to do it. You're in the mood for it. And you're coupling. It was some sobriety. So you feel like, Well, I'm really going to lose the pounds right now and then you just can't do anything. So you're just kind of get soft on the couch and you gotta up the diet. So, you counter act not working out? It was a challenging month for sure. So you back on the path you working out again? Yes, but there's a ton of Halloween candy in our house right now, so it's a battle. And so that month that you didn't work out, but you didn't drink and you were still eating pretty clean. What was what? That due to your weight that month, I continued to lose weight. Just not at the pace that I wanted to and not having any alcohol. Definitely, you know, helped. As of August, I'm down £27 dude. Which is good and bad. Good, because I'm down £27 bad because why the hell did I have £27 to lose to begin with I know why? Because you're eating like a fat ass like an absolute fat like dynamic fat ass. Yes, eating everything in sight, Not moving. Not doing anything. If you look at recent history, like I do not respect it like when you're on your ahn, you lock in and you do really well, But my man, you have gained a lot of weight and lost a lot of weight like, give me some numbers. Like what's the most weight you've lost and gained. Okay, well, since working on this show, I've worked on the show for four years. I have aged like 50 years start working on this show, but I have gained and lost £25 at least on three separate occasions since working on this show that can't be healthy. Yeah. I don't think any different times you've gained in lost £25. Yes. I'm like a yo yo, uh, it's embarrassing. My wife, you know. Likes when I'm losing weight and doesn't like me when I'm fat as most wives would would tell you OK, like and so I just I had this thought and it just escaped me. Oh, this was going to ask you. So what was it like coming off sober October when you had that first blast haven't had it yet. You haven't positive moments November 2nd. So you did not go back. We worked yesterday. You and I, and by we I mean, you worked really hard and I was just there for support, but because we had an early wake up. What were you there? To hang out to watch the maestro in action to absorb To glean Stop kissing my ass. You did nothing, man. Why were you there? Because I was told because I wanted to be there. Okay, so anyway, you But why did you not have a drink when you could have had a drink when the calendar flipped over? It's something just right now. I'm not like craving it all. And I just want.

"Yes so that's a very good question um so she american bring foundation describes concussion as a our insult to the brain all through are headed jury all which results in some new logical dysfunction white give the loss of consciousness are some degree of philosophy solve men marie art some degree of five confusion immediately after the coup cash and there's no definition necessarily on the mechanism right it just a amine and i asked that because i can think back in instances in my own life where i have felt allotted the symptoms that you mentioned from the post can customs syndrome but it wasn't from hitting my head on something that was solider rigid it was actually from an explosive waves and i think being a little bit too close so there's it doesn't necessarily matter the mechanism by which the brain is damaged is just the damage to the brain itself a w accurate to sir yes uh so we learned a lot about concussions over several years particularly the data coming from the restaurants where there has been exposed to boston gery's last week and i'll be believed that that by itself can cause saw why traumatic brain injury abu odd what on this solve when i was at the veteran's hospital at break poorest we did a major study looking of that are specifically the blast remained juries in veterans what did you guys five in the study i'm just curious because i have a my going to say have a lot of exposure to it but i definitely have repeated exposure to blast wave over nearly twenty years yes so i think the blast waves saw dose cost some distortion in the neurological function.

"Kicking net on the side of the field so you have all of this chaos and you're talking about a franchise that is much as they were stable for most of our lives they now are in the world where coming off of eleven five season they fired their coach so you're looking at insane even eleven and five doesn't get me job security on top of all of that they don't have all that much cap room next year to go in and and deal with all of this and they have about often sublime so i'm looking at it say because of injury slip better special specific to this year okay okay but last year going back to the bill barnwell article last year particularly they had lessened gery's than most nfl team suffered through part of reason they went 11 wind team every year of course not but the makings are there and if you're a head coach or a a candidate first vacancies look the steelers jobs not coming available the the eagles jobs not coming available the playoff teams are not coming available so when you look at openings that could become available it's near the top i would say and there's an article on he has been dot com about potential openings in obviously there's a some some some latitude there 'cause you don't know what's gonna become available i would only put houston if villa brian is relieved of his duties ahead and i would only put the colts assuming let's assuming allowed enter luck in a swimming the job guns available on that cowboys maybe if that becomes available i definitely put the cowboys i think but you had jerry jones making a lot of personnel moves that the deal with that but you're right the make the play the pieces are in place there for douse be besides that the giants our next on my list now nothing you said is one hundred percent wrong mother right i should lay really our aim even if i am live in the rain high only seventy iit if i were you with everything you're saying but a lot of it is just circumstance and look they have the star wide receiver and i can i i agree that the completely botched the.

"You know without the steroids and all that kind of stuff guys tend to fade pig guy those strike out he as many injuries was hit in the face with a baseball you know has their guard and everything by me you know whenever you pay a guy that kind of money always take a chance within gery's and there's no predicting it really so you should be getting them into his prime years hanyu should have at least five really good years at least one who unless he just as well i'm in new york a gun all this money and his head gets turn by you know kim they singer with a silver bullet or barbara urji or whatever thinking of the natural remember but other than that how people have said well you know what's going to happen they're not going to be able to get brice harper next year well if you have stand india really need harper where you gonna play him and you know if you have an outfield of judge stanton and harper oh first of all you need somebody to place centerfield i guess harper could but it was any but they're going to go 162 in all i mean it's it's kind of overkill and don't forget the harper thing people are going to uh you know they get harper near can't get harper next year if they get stanton well harper is going to be possibly a four hundred milliondollar player his contract might as a free agent dwarf stanton's so you know you take the 285 now that they owe him versus the now let's say modestly 350 the better off with stanton may be and again i'm a year earlier so they can atta championship to their resume it's really hard to find a downside of this deal now is this deal going to propel them over the one 97 limited make them pay luxury tax maybe a little but a little is that can be a whole lot is it gonna keep them from getting a pitcher well amazed may knocked the odds down a little bit in terms of the kind of money they can spend on a pitcher but again as i said last hour looking at this rotation did they really even need a picture but if he nice that they needed thing if i were what they got they came from one game of the world series without adding that.
