EU Ministers Meet to Discuss Afghanistan, Refugees

"European Union ministers the meeting to discuss the Taliban's takeover of Afghanistan and how Europe will deal with an expected flow of refugees and migrants the block is looking for ways to prevent a repeat of a twenty fifteen refugee crisis that was fueled by Syria's civil war the arrival in Europe of well over a million migrants that year led to infighting among E. U. member nations now a new wave of migrants from Afghanistan may well exacerbate tensions a preferred choice is for the E. U. to provide funding to house refugees in countries bordering Afghanistan to prevent them heading for Europe however Germany for one is helping up to forty thousand Afghans who've worked for the German ministry or aid organizations I'm Charles the last month

"This will allow healthcare workers to use their mobile phones to automatically capture and win. Every injection takes place. Okay, so that's very clear. There is no misunderstanding what that is now as I said when this first came out, they were that were saying it was injectable, and that's incorrect, so I wanted to make sure you saw the reality of it. But this is just as alarming to me and it's just a very quick change to have this something that's inside versus out, but the idea is still the same. There's still tracking you. Documenting your biometrics and your location and you're ever you have it. Your family had. This is what it will be doing. It's creating a digital network of. Vaccine that is what we're talking as digital visiting digital. Passport idea. So explain how think about how crazy it is that we can literally have a leading not even like a Fox News CNN. We're talking leading Reuters Associated Press. The kind of outlet that all the other mainstream users just taker information from without doing any research. Yeah, that's baffled. Mainstream media is. Not. Thing excuse me, and there is no vaccine containing in RFID chip. Just thinking about crazy that is. They're lying to you. Everyone everywhere is trying to deceive you in ways. That you can't even under. Everywhere, even individuals I argue a lot of people are doing this in ways that they don't even realize just thinking that they're so certain because they've been propagandize to think so, but I just talked about this. The idea German official leaked a report denouncing corona's a false global false alarm, right? We just talked about this now. In the video I put out and the clip I very clearly saying that this is an official who leaked report. That's exactly what it is, and this this is in fact, a report and it is in fact, an official of the German government. He works for the German ministry. Kate nonetheless. There's exchange that happened today. Where somebody posts this. This is the video talking about. And he just goes herb. NOPE, fake news. I look at this official report. Basically saying there's no way that's real. It's so ridiculous but Israel. Right and so I linked to the report here. That says that right I mean. This is directly from the Ministry of the German ministry. That saying very clearly. Yes, this is real. It wasn't employees so official. WHO works with the Government at the ministry? Who who released this right so what he's saying? Is it just simply with something that they didn't allow. Authorize I didn't say that this was an official government documents said this was an official who released documentary, and it's totally legitimate, and we should realize that the German government along with most of them have a vested interest in not allowing this reality to get out. They've taken actions just like the US government has on their against their own people based on this allusion, so when somebody in the government seeing that they're being. We're all being lied to decides to tell that truth. Of course they're gonNA. COME OUT AND BE LIKE! Oh, no, that's we disagree. We didn't authorize this. But the reality is a real document so I. Simply said do your due diligence. The data could be wrong or distorted in some way, but this is a legitimate document so by saying there's no chance it's real. People to take a step back as a people need to stop doing this. And I quoted what the document said. And then he goes on to say that I. climbed my video. It's official document which I really didn't. And I go on to say that's not true. And I say, but I'm not surprised that you'd be you know basically the idea. This was the anyway. He goes back and forth and prove to them that it's not real and he blocks me. Right! That's the reality. This is where we are today, and that's what I said. Exactly. This is the current state of US discourse. Instead of admitting people are wrong. You Block somebody sad days that were in, and this is entirely engineer guys. It creates an exacerbates ECHO, chambers. Instead of just being like okay. My bad clearly that was a real document, but we shouldn't trust it and I would have said you're right. We shouldn't trust it. But it's a real document and it did come from the German government. The problem is that so many people out there are so quick to just immediately jump in with their opinions and not and swear that they're the facts. And, that's what social media does the problem is? We need to both question. Those things realized that we can't just blindly take anybody online at face value no matter how assertive they are. And be able to admit that we're wrong. I've done it plenty of times on this show I've said things that were incorrect. There's probably things that I've said before. That I didn't even realize we're incorrect happens. That's why I want you to think for yourselves of course I do everything in my power to make that sure. That doesn't happen, but we all do that, so we all do it sometimes. So. We need to get past this. This engineer manipulation that we're dealing with. Crazy yes, I'm promise you that there are things all over the place that are obvious very obvious manipulations like. Excuse me, that was weird. Play microphones having an issue. It looks like. Well anyway this thing. Is Very Real. Or excuse me, but very very I guess it is a real video. That is being shared..

"Reading something where you kind of mentioned like he looks up to you. Donna's House on the net regarded as a guy who is a long time with with one team So does he take that route and you go all in on retaining him as well so they have some key decisions to make keep that roster intact but I think they're pretty fun to watch man they. They really play together. Yeah Miami's the team of the Bulls should look at when they're trying to see what they want to become riot and Pat Riley a godfather. He's been successful or gone in the past and US always put together good squats. He knows what he's doing. He's build his team as a star and ricky that ricky mentioned before about the Bulls but in Jimmy Butler right they have the star and another upcoming star in Bam and they have these very very good young guys in tyler hero non Robinson. So they're putting together a team that is to compete at those going to be good in the long run as well so I see them getting the Bam deal done having that core of an Jimmy Butler with these young guys and just competing from here on out for a couple of years. So he's done another excellent Joplin squad together of affirmative jeff on this. Since he's the expert in terms of salary cap to me they still need to improve a little bit to get to actual title contender status. Don't totally know what their salary sheet. Looks like but we know that Miami is consistently a player for top free agents. I have no doubt the Pat Riley put his rings on the table for Jaanus if he tests the market in a couple years. We'll be the same thing as he did the Brat. If that doesn't work he's probably GONNA look at Bradley beal and then he's probably GonNa look someone else. This thing that the heat have going for them is unbelievable internal development. You look what they did this year. Kendrick Nunn with Duncan Robinson who was a division three player like five years ago You know you could go down the line. They just got a lot of really good about from there guys and then. Amgen into a top thirty player in the whole league this year properly. So He's a stud moving forward. Everyone's been waiting for Butler fall off and guess what he hasn't done it yet. Guys Tang He's already finished an old one. Year of that contract is a four year contract. Looks Pretty Damn good so I think that he's going to be able to fill that contract at star level play? I think he couldn't shoot at all this year Jimmy Butler and he was still one of the best players league. Because he's an absolute tank going to the basket. Really Smart Player and unselfish player on the court You know they had the lead initiator offensively that you need for the Jimmy. Johns spread the floor pick and roll run in isolation. He's either going to get allders for three. It's pretty easy formula. They probably need one. More Creator mean upgrade over. Geologic is their secondary Guy I don't know what their salary cap situation. Looks like in the immediate future? Maybe Jeff Pilson but I think that they definitely have a bright a bright long-term future after their their trade for Andrea the dollar this year. They've actually got some cap space to work with this year so they are going to be able to go out. And if they don't want resigned mortgage and they want to go in a different direction. They've got some money to spend. They've got more money than a lot of teams and their contender. So this is the one team with cap space this summer. Who's already contender. And obviously there's not a ton of high levels regents this summer. You'RE GONNA have to sort of piece together. Some of that twenty six million to to spread it around for for for a few different players who can help their their depth issues. But they've got. They've got a strong core in Butler. Not a bio and I think that the two of them can help bring in that third star in twenty twenty one. That's sort of their plan. That's been the heat's plan for these last two years and so that's when you know Bam's up for for an extension the summer. I don't think that they're going to get anything done with Bam this summer be because cackled is so small in in twenty twenty one it only be fifteen million. They can decide to hold off on that new contract maximize their their cap space in twenty twenty one. And that's when they're going to go after you honest they're gonNA go after. Paul George Go. Perhaps after quite Leonard who can get out of of La that year. We'll see there's just so many big names on the twenty twenty one market. That Miami is really building toward toward that year to really add that third star around Jimmy around Bam drop. I think you hit on the to is like they have that money in that space and doesn't all have to go right away? It doesn't have to be allocated right out the gate and I think with the the twenty twenty one class like you said saving up in like having space for that highly taty class. You'RE GONNA add another guy who you know all star caliber to go along with Jimmy Butler in Alabama. And whatever else that roster looks like and that's that can be pretty dangerous for for for for years to come as a bulls fan definitely scary to hear about everything he'd have going on to have that front office to have pat.

Jimmy Butler Bulls Miami Pat Riley Bam Jeff Pilson Duncan Robinson US Bradley beal Donna Butler Amgen ricky Johns Joplin Kendrick Nunn Leonard Jaanus

"We had so much fun yesterday with that and thanks for all the comments that we got on our will comedia woke local meter yeah welcome meter welcome meter in other news out there man is just so much news we could talk for a hundred hours John during the U. S. attorney this from fox news and expose some from fox news that they broke yesterday John during the U. S. attorney reviewing the origins of the twenty sixteen counterintelligence investigation into Russia and the trunk campaign is probing a wider timeline then previously known according to multiple senior administration officials fox news previously reported the dorm would be reviewing the days leading up to the twenty sixteen election and through the inauguration however based on what he has been finding Durham has expanded his investigation adding agents and resources the senior administration official said the time line has grown from the beginning of the probe through the election and now has included a post election time line through the spring of twenty seventeen up to when Robert Muller was named special counsel Attorney General bill Barr in Durham traveled to Italy recently to talk to law enforcement officials there about the probe and I've also had conversations with officials in the UK and Australia about the investigation according to multiple sources familiar with the meetings bar a sign during the US attorney in Connecticut back in may to conduct the inquiry into alleged misconduct and improper surveillance of the trump campaign in twenty sixteen as well as whether Democrats were the ones who improperly colluded with foreign actors the attorney is gathering information from numerous sources including a number of foreign countries that Attorney General Barr's request of president has contacted other countries to ask them to introduce you tourney general and Mr Durham to appropriate officials justice department spokesperson it Kerry could pack said last month when all that you know member all of that came about they said well that's action the proper procedure to to to do that so there's a we are right now by the way if anybody in the German ministry it in the dorm investigation that he comes across if he wants a subpoena of their records outside of you know records that he probably will get more cooperation from from the FBI and department of justice now you know because he he his the head of the department of justice but if they don't get cooperation he might act actually have to subpoena from some individuals certain records they get to fight those subpoenas if they fight those subpoenas that is not obstruction of justice no it is not as the Democrats are trying to make it we're saying this because we're taking the opposite we're taking the the investigation of the the trump justice department going against Democrats and if they attempt to subpoena the Democrats the Democrats can fight those subpoenas yep it really again is about the process but the Democrats want you to believe there is no process it's only what we want but there is a process you have a right to challenge the subpoena and the court can decide what happens from there that's not obstruction no we're close no no and that's the case the car that's the terribly weak case that Nancy Pelosi was trying to make yesterday right well I'm sorry you're doing this well the that could add another article of impeachment of obstruction because you said we're not going to cooperate they don't have to cooperate right and the and the funny thing is because not well that's it this is political corruption you guys are talking criminal justice no I'm talking about when Nancy Pelosi stated Nancy Pelosi stated Donald Trump is above the law and so this is obstruction she's trying to make it about the law and it's not about the law it's about politics right now whatever political obstruction is has never been defined but that is not a high crime go ahead make it a high crime in fact that's what I believe you know there I believe that's what the White House is doing now they know there's going to be one of only a few reactions either you go full board now and have the vote and then you you justify and expanded use of subpoenas because federal judges will judges will say well you took a vote and you know you you took a vote what's the crime what is he suspected crime out there because that's what the administration will fight over subpoena with St judge they don't have it they're doing a fishing expedition what is the alleged crime right and and so once you do that you get a full hearing before the judge and the all that becomes public yep so the one thing the Democrats don't want by their own admission by their behavior is transparency as to what they're doing they just want automatic cooperation without any federal judges being involved in it and if they don't get it well then then they're gonna screen there screaming we will have an article of impeachment for obstruction of justice really that's the only one they define so far isn't it yeah yeah this and I just think again I didn't this was the perfect play I think by the president by the administration challenge them say no along the way they've got to make the next move they're the ones that are going to have to go through ultimately the process you got a vote on inquiry and if they don't then their rank and file is likely going to at some point get upset if you don't officially move on this how many people by the way I wonder if they did a poll how many of the rank and file Democrats out there believe impeachment process has technically begun has actually begun in in real time I mean it it's it's actually going on right now they've got actually done a vote or they've done something procedurally they really haven't I got the blessing from the from the speaker to move but really it there hasn't been a vote how many of the rank and file believe it's actually started officially because it has a we're here hiring this pseudo inquiry says and that's all that's all you know I I really don't the if if the if the poll is right at all that was taken most the writers the writers poll that showed that Democrats don't we owe the majority Democrats don't care if they lose to twenty twenty election because the impeachment you know they wanna impeached which did bring us to the question of how many of them understand that impeachment is not remove him from office right and how many would be shocked in infuriated when he's not gonna how many believe that because you see it on social media all the time impeachment then and and and then we can we we if well you saw impeach this you talked about earlier impeach him in page pence right first they're gonna be there right when I can be removed from office so I wonder how many believe because that was starting to trend over the weekend impeach pen still you week we get a beach fence get rid of both of them you're not getting rid of them by impeachment no that's the removal from office process they don't know that no and and you I think you actually get to the point where it is again again Nancy either has to move or or just keep this thing lingering like you said yesterday she really can't announced that she's not going to do anything which means you just don't say anything and you just don't actually ever do anything you let the committees pretend they're doing something officially well now you sort of your being forced into a corner by the president please I'm not going to cooperate with you all right that's my move your move right I mean it really is it's not even a game of chess here it it seems like it it really does seem like a game of dodgeball is political Dodge balls you know that's really what it is and it is again the it's up to the Democrats to move on it so they have the votes they have what to twenty seven as of last week yeah got the votes yep move on angry why don't the why isn't there a vote well that's what they're pushing them to do their in their put the Republicans by doing this yes are either because they wanted to make this statement the administration could have just said nothing and fought every impeachment impeachment every a subpoena in court yes they didn't have to do this they didn't have to announce we're not going to cooperate with you they did that for a reason right because that was their day care because it could you just sat back and said look we're not we're not gonna announce we're not going to cooperate we're just not going to cooperate right and we're gonna fight every single letter any letter they sent to us now I'm sorry we're not you know that we're not interested but and then every subpoena we fight and we make it public when we fight the subpoena talk about what happened in court and but we're not going to but they did this they put this out this was a proclamation either hold the impeachment inquiry vote and continue the process and and that's gonna to that if you continue the process after that with the subpoenas you're gonna put out this is going to take months maybe a year because we're gonna fight everything or impeach me now right on what you've got because the last thing we know that you want Democrats is to stretch this out because the more stretched out as we've seen in the first two and a half weeks of this the more it stretched out the more the case against the Democrats falls apart and more of the case of partisanship in the investigation yes just like in Russian collusion that and corruption because of Adam Schiff slight because Adam Schiff slight takes you to the the prosecutor or the the investigator is corruption that's where that takes you to at that point and so I think the Republicans here look run real strong ground make him so they actually have to go through the long process of doing this which would take months all the way into next year we don't think they want to do that because it's been hurting them the more there's transparency and the longer this goes the more transparency there will be and the more there will be an opportunity for Republicans and the Senate Judiciary Committee to than to be looking at buying to be looking at you know too big as as he said he would that the Senate Judiciary Committee starts doing their job and looking at everything else and yes making it partisan because that's how the system is set up the Democrats are going after Republicans will now the Republicans in the Senate can go after the Democrats yep that's why the system is set up the way that it is and at the end at that point then you you see where this saying all comes out in the end but you actually will have as time goes by you get more transparency it just because there's more leaks is more information well the transparency that we now know two and a half to three weeks after this whole thing first came out right look how much more we know that's transparency in the case looks a lot well there is no case for the Democrats right now all right looks a lot weaker they have no case for impeachment they can't tell you what the.

"Two six veteran journalist Steve Vogel our guest the author of betrayal in Berlin the true story of the cold war's most audacious espionage operation very simply build a tunnel from West Berlin to East Berlin a tunnel a quarter of a mile long and will be bringing back irate character George Blake here just a second and they'll all of this but right now tell us about the Eugene Craig. yeah you know he as you as you mentioned he was a a singer he was he was in the the U. S. army language school in Monterey California and they had their training soldiers to speak Russian and he had this wonderful voice so he was singing Russian opera and folk songs in the the army choir and he suddenly got orders to report to New Jersey and then on to Berlin and you know he finds himself the back of a DC three cargo plane flying into into Berlin and he's taken out to this mysterious compound by a couple of G. eyes in a jeep and you know the next thing he knows he's he's being brought into this warehouse and the for the army officers in charge told him you know corporal this is not this is not an army operation this is the CIA operation and they they needed translators that you know they were capturing so much material that they had to recruit some new ones and Eugene Craig spoke great Russia and and they you know stuck some headphones on over his head and told him to to start translating it he was pretty much thrown in right in the in the fray wow now then George Blake. where does he enter into this story now that we've lowered the George Brett Blake was a part of British intelligence captured of the Korean War became a turncoat. brie introduce George right well you know of Blake head of of course the passed on this information about the tunnel that was being planned out to the KGB before they'd even dog one shovel full of of dirt for this tunnel but we say he told the KGB the the K. G. B. was unwilling to share this even within the the KGB they have essentially only three or four people very senior people in the intelligence operation knew about it and Blake had proved himself so valuable to the KGB that they were quite afraid about doing anything about this title because so few people knew about it in MI six we're we're Blake was serving you could you could count on maybe well one hand the number of people knew about this project so if if the KGB had done anything to stop the project. Blake would have come under immediate suspicion of the whole they were taken about twenty minutes for him to be questions and and and possibly arrested so they decided that Blake was going to provide more important information than whatever the total could capture so they they they gambled and they they didn't tell the Soviet Red Army anything about this tunnel they didn't even tell their own KGB headquarters in Berlin about the tunnel initially so it was he was kept highly secret so in other words the decision was made that did they would go ahead and let intelligence flow through this this this tunnel back to the American sector and up there was no attempt to for example to provide this information me the obvious opportunity was here okay they've tapped in but they don't know we know in many cases the obvious as would be all righty we're going to start we're going to bypass these old communication systems here if this is very maybe put a whole new system the will to start feeding the Americans and the British all kinds of junk. that's what you know a lot of people would later assume that's what of you know that sort of became like that a common understanding then of what happened but the problem is the sheer volume of of material that was being captured by the tunnel may that essentially it's impossible I mean they're they're capturing thousands of conversation today so the problem was first off if if the US Soviet to try to to channel the the important communications off of the the the tap lines the CIA had so many agents inside that east German ministry they would have learned that immediately so they if they if they tried to detour that's the traffic elsewhere that would have been a red flag that that something was going on and then if they had tried to to pump in disinformation the you know there was such a river of information coming in any bad information would have been contradicted by the river of good information that was showing up so it is a simple analysis would have shown that there was disinformation being put through the tunnel that too would have given the the whole thing away so the KGB and the other thing was the KGB cared more mostly about the KGB they didn't care so much about the red army's communication lines of those of the primary ones being tapped they're like well you know at least. our stuff the whole thing so how about the dry there was such that the the counter intelligence was such a sieve there on on both sides that the the essentially this was allowed to go on by virtue of the fact that disruption would have been worse than the letting it go on yeah I mean in in part of this is you know just your your typical bureaucracy he said you know the the KGB knows him and begins to slowly understand that the amount of information that's being lost is is a lot more than they initially had had understood and in fact the CI a and SIS were overwhelmed by the amount of information there caption they hadn't expected so much so eventually make the KGB realizes that you know well we we better do something about this they they kind of at first gave this senior Red Army commanders these kind of vague warnings that you know you should exercise good telephone to clear. you never know what those Americans are up to and then they told him of well you know what they did the British did tap or your lines in Vienna so be really careful but still it didn't do any good at all the of the Soviet officers we're we're just flapping away with secret information that they shouldn't have been discussing on the telephone the first place and you're finally that the K. G. B. tried to come up with of some way that they can stop the total in the NFL that was easy to do. want to come back in a moment. my.

"Thank you by chance shots. There are so many ways as conversation could go and give an are very large and very distinguish audience. I'm sure we'll be taken all of them at some point. Let me pick up on a few things in your remarks. If I could. I one thing that struck me, and we are all grasping for something. Positive your statement that we could have a international on minimum corporate tax digital taxation by next year sort of stood out to me something potentially very favorable. Could you say a bit more about what kind of parameters you think that would look like, obviously, it's subject negotiation, and perhaps more importantly, what will be the effect on the German economy. The American economy on the developing countries, if we get the kind of deal you're talking about so we are discussing intensely and all the international organizations organizations, the OCD g seventy twenty and obviously also within the European Union about the question how we can deal with the new questions coming up to our states because it's obvious that we will not. Able to to serve our economies and our people if the strongest partners of the. Game are avoiding Texas no-one is liking to pay them. But in the end, someone must do so. And it's better those who have some strengths do it. Then those who are not capable to to pay for all things that the necessary for states. So I think there is an increasing understanding that this will not work, and I learned very much. This is also due to the United States. We're very much looked at the corporate tax reform that has been done in the United States. The one of the specs of it was a unilateral approach on minimum succession but much better. It would work if we could have a global agreement about how to deal with this question, but the outcome of decision. United States already did took is that it is absolutely likely that we get a consensus on the question because we are under the same path. And that this might be the reason why we get something which many people are countries still think that this is something of a very far future. But I think it will be something that we can reach very soon yesterday heard from some relevant ministers and secretaries in the seventy level that I say might be that we will have to find a consensus about the way how we do this within six months to be successful with a summit meeting of always CV the next year. And this I think is. Really a progress. There is a proposal developed in the German ministry of finance proposed to the international audience together with France that on minimum say shit that I think. Has a lot of acceptance by all the others, and there's one pillar in the OECD where we discussed this question might be the outcome of the debate. So this is quite something we could work. The second question the second pillar in the OTC debate and also seventy twenty and I'm your speech of Lagat that case is how we tackle the question of of Texan digital economy. And this is not that easy because we have a national agreement about texting corporates which in the end for winding WT station is necessary. And this is saying that protects the corporates were goods produced services are brought out where invention some eight. And this is not just. The case because it wasn't Benton been the was just a club of the most developed duster countries. But it makes sense we have on the other end we have to understand that the allocation of taxing rights as a question that is the global table and that there is a debate. And that the new digital companies are raising the question again because for instance in Europe. Having been that successful with the ele- ping global platforms. There is not in debate. They wouldn't have had ten fifteen twenty years ago about the question, whether it could work that they a lot of money, but pay no texts in in Europe, more if you compared to the revenues they get from the activities of that. The question is do we find a way to do it? There are proposals coming from India and China, and obviously they propose to Texas and our countries and not just with little companies. But also with all the goods and services so far. I don't think that this will work because there is some sense in the way how takes corporates today. There's. There's a UK proposal, which is working on us participation, which I think is very dedicated and not really working because if we remember the debate we already had in Europe about how we can. Can can can assure that those who are producing contents get their fair share of the income. You've might understand what this will mean if you have to develop a technique finding out where is the user contribution. And so this is I think difficult, and there are some others also proposed by the United States. I think in this. We don't have to real solution yet, but we have to find it, and it will not make sense to take more years. We should find the way how to tackle this this year. We can do it. Thank you extremely comprehensive. I appreciate it. Along the way. Also in your remarks, you mentioned as German officials are want to do let's not spend so much time on these imbalances and trade surpluses and so much so on and as non-german officials non-german people are want to do. I will summarize that there are a lot of people who don't quite understand. Why Germany needs such large trade surplus such large fiscal surplus all of finance ministers. Joined by Adam Posen, the president of the Peterson is too doesn't. It seem to make things worse for Europe and us for Germany. So what is it given that we've all been through this cycle of discussion many times, what is it about the reasons for the current German state of balances fiscal and international that you think a stupid Americans. Just don't get. What what what is it? You wish we understood that that we don't understand. So I just would like to share some ideas, my person ideas on that question. The first is about Europe. I think we really have a change in the economy and possibly those. Researchers are not anymore. Right. Looking at in the next twenty seven Member States of UPN union and looking for the Finnish Swedish polish the Portuguese Spanish or German economy because we are much more UPN economy as anyone thinks in Europe and outside of Europe. And looking Germany is much more. If if you would look at one of the states in the United States, maybe California, and then you will not discussable trade balances between California and the rest of the United States or in the case of Germany to be more. It would be as if California the state of Washington and New York would be one St. and right at the center of the United States not bothering for the rest, right? This will not work. And this is why my approach the policies that we are rela. Seven for pro compromise and beyond not a party going to rest saying that we have a lot of men citizens and a lot of economic strength. That are always are very intelligent. We should try to find out that we are relevant for the compromise in the opinion. But coming back to this economic question. I think it's worthwhile to follow the idea, which I'm explaining to you. There is more UPN economy than a national one. And this change changes the perspectives also trade imbalances, and if you go around as finance minister of Germany and speak to the prime ministers of different states or the finance ministers. You will find out. That that very much bothering about the German economy because it's of critical for development, and you will find out that they understand something which possibly has not been figured out by economic researches. They say a huge lot of the plants in our country are coming from German companies the frame big ones, small medium sized middle companies. And we understand these companies as UP companies the activists, they do are important. So one of the proposals are the claim of the the things are set about German economy, for instance, that there is not enough private investment, possibly, this is the wrong view. If you understand the same companies invested quite a lot, but possibly to build a plant in Portugal and to build a plant in Spain and to build a plant in check your in Poland or so. And if you learn that after you'd came together, we now have situation weather's shortage of labor in check Yar and Slovakia and Poland in the body states to go there that you have developed in Spain and Portugal. You will find out that it is much more likely. You will get better results looking at this whole economy, but single countries this is the one thing the second is. It is. The has been taking a decision by many corporates Germany, and especially than. Famous little which is a company of five hundred thousand or two thousand employees being successful on the world market with three or four competitors. One possibly from Japan. One might be from a lot of Italy or from Finland or from the United States. And this is that they met the challenge of being global globally competitive. It is not just the neighbors. It's not exports and imports to the to the country's right at the border. And this is a reason for the success. This is a reason for why. When there is slower growth, the global economy. We will have slower growth Germany because we kind of avoided and you should understand that. There's also one thing different with Germany, Connie, as many people view it. I don't that. Researchers are not happy with the idea. But there are some that are making Scott where they say we put together exports and imports. We at them. And then we we look at the different countries. And then you will find out the Germany is not just a big exporter. But also one of the biggest importers of in the global economy, and this links together, and it's a different economic model to many other countries. So I think it's not very easy. Just by changing figures to change something in this question because it's individual decisions by individual companies who are successful in the global market. So let me move on from that. Then in the spirit of your remarks about Germany, not being the central player that demands everything and want compromise and want to functioning unified European economy. There is a whole list of things other than figures there are policies and institutions that have been put forward including by some of my colleagues here Peterson. There's issues of. Could we get a European deposit-insurance? Could we get a European safe asset you've made some steps to expand European fiscal capacity. But maybe there should be more. So again, as you do explain something to those of us who may have a false perception the perception seems to be that Germany is not entirely, but for the most part not accepting various proposals multiple proposals to further integrate Europe. What is the alternative agenda on the economic front? Just the economic front. The Germany would have our misunderstanding are these proposals? You will accept in course. I could just ask what proposals? You're speaking about. But I can give I can cite very specific. But I will give an answer. And my question has some reasonable. The first is we should understand that we made a lot of progress, which is not has not been realized. I would say even in the European public. But after the last crisis, we built a lot of institutions which are really able to act which they have not been doing the crisis two thousand eight nine following the Lehman Brothers, bankruptcy and things like that. So the first is we? Supervision. Authorities. Which is looking at more than two hundred European banks. And this is eighty percent of the balance balance sheets of the banks really relevant. We built hunt for this Lucien of banks. So the taxpayers monies are not anymore. Question when there is a crisis of really big Bank in Europe. We now decided and I worked very hard to get this solution that this event will be half a backstop by the European stability mechanism, which is something like European Monetary Fund. It has the capacity to lend itself five hundred billion euros to save a country. This is the reason for the is, and they were its predecessor worse accessible that helping island helping Potter God helping bit Spain helping Cyprus and helping. Great. No, one realized that the biggest country support for a single country losing contact to the financial markets force the program of the Europeans for Greece. It is not the bigger countries that got support by the I'm F. And so there is some stability and strength and European solidarity for having so all the countries are now out of the program. And this shows that we are able and capable do something. Now, we decided that this is an should be a backstop for this. Bank fund. So it is much most ability we have now and in this year, we agreed about twelve different regulations on the European level. Which is a progress because I think the years before it with three four years. So you see we are working very much my view on the banking union, the financial markets unions that we already built the house that even the work is done with the roof. And now it's not just the rest, which we have to do. And there are the questions on the table. You're speaking about this is all of jokes. He is the German finance ministry. Peterson institute today speaking with Adam potent, but my view is that we have to stay a bit away. And understand that. This is not something which will be done in doing one-step or the other is something which is part of unnecessary bigger picture. My ideas. Let us now look to United States that understand. For instance, the FDIC is working. And this is which we learned quite successfully with the supervision of this speaker banks and the front..
