"You listen. As much as I was watching the NFL Draft last night, I actually had multiple feeds up of the draft. I was trying to escape Twitter to your point, brockman because Twitter does give away and you jinxed us yesterday, you jinx me personally. Yes, you did. You jinxed me. Because you brought up one of our guys who we love talking to. By the way, was he tipping pix last night? He was tipping last night. He told me he warned me to do it. I should have muted my guy Albert brewer last time. 5 minutes of time on Twitter last night. I have to mute Albert last night because here I am, Albert brewers tipping pics. I'm like, oh, okay, the pick is in. On Twitter, I'm looking at Albert's feed. I'm like, cool. Team taking such and such. I look, it's still 7 minutes on the clock. I'm like, I gotta wait 7 minutes to this pick is announced. And here's already and gave me the pick. So out there. Pick 7, that early. He was tipping pixels. He was 7. I gotta be honest with you. It's wild to me, you know, our joke around here is like me not being on Twitter, but you know I still check the show Twitter. I had no problem. I think I looked at the only time I looked at Twitter was to check our feed. In case you wanted me to jump in the post videos and you handle them all. Other than that, I just watched the network. I watched what those guys were saying. It was very easy for me to stay. Because I was doing a lot of Instagram work too. Yeah, you did a great job on Instagram. I completely stayed off of Twitter. There was no problem. I had the NFL network on and I was about ten minutes behind. I had the double TV watching themselves. Same with me. So it was like, I had no problem staying off. It was easy. I was just every time I picked that came on that I guess that we had. I throw that video out on the show page so you can watch the our full conversation with bijan Robinson, will Anderson, Broderick Jones, all these guys that got started. In studio, and then tried to tell you, Albert was typically compromised. I'm watching the basketball game too, so it was getting good, especially right at the end of the third quarter, game was really tight. And I was like, okay, this can go either way. And then you had the Atlanta fans really starting to get into it. And I'm like, oh, how is this going to end? And so I would focus on the basketball game and try to get caught up on what our baby have had missed in the draft, but I'm like, you know, 6, 5 or 6 minutes still left on the clock. So I go check Twitter because I just want to get information, I like to follow a couple of research accounts just to get some of the stories. One of the things is the first time selection by the same school in the top three and that goes to Bryce young will Anderson. Pick number one pick number three. Last time we had that 2020, chase young Jeff akuta picked two and picked three right here. Right. And then he before that Sam Bradford Gerald McCoy and the 2010 NFL Draft and if for all my old heads out there like myself, remember Courtney Brown. Number one, overall, with pitch from Penn State state. Levar arrington went number two. So that's like the research I'm like always looking for and yet all of a sudden I see Albert breer tip of the pick and I'm like, I'm trying to scroll past it, but now I've seen it so I couldn't do that, but I did sink in a little NBA last night, broccoli. Because obviously I was invested only because of you because a couple days before, I'm like, I'm not watching NBA. Why am I watching? But I do want to watch Lil Trae Young. I wanted to see Kenneth Celtics wrap this thing up. There was no doubt I thought they would win. But they toyed around for a little bit, but at the end of the day, they pull off the victory one 28 to one 20 and again, we got the Trae Young chance. Why does everybody hate Trae Young so much? Is there a reason why it's just because he's good? I think TJ maybe backed me up in this. Does he have one of those faces? I know those faces you're talking about. Some people are very punchable. I wasn't gonna say it, but he's got one of those faces. I don't agree. I feel it's like this. Anytime guys, and Steph Curry gets this a little bit. Anytime a dude can just pull up from like 30 and make it look like a layup. Right. I don't know, people tend to not like that. I think that's a little unlikeable. The fact that he can do something that you can't do. So it's like a little show off. Maybe a little show off. Like the little jealousy of people because they make these shots look easy. But yeah, when I know exactly. And I can give you a few of those faces. But I don't think Trae Young's one. He's like a babyface kind of really. But it is remarkable that people, especially the New York crowd and had such an issue with. I think for me, too, it's just a big sigh relief. Okay. Like, didn't want to have to take it to the what if scenario of a game 7, even though it would be at home, which, you know, the Celtics didn't even protect it in game 5. So the fact that that was such a close game, they had a 7 point lead. We had a 7 point lead, close game at the half. The defense did a great job shutting down Trey young. He had 25 in the first, only 5 in the second half. Did a great job setting him down. Marcus smart. At one point, I was screaming at the TV. Why is he in the game take him out? And then he hits a big dagger three at the end. Jason Tatum probably had the most quiet 30, 14 and 7 game in NBA playoff history. And so now get a chance to rest up for a day or two, and then it's Philadelphia. Here we go. It's going to be, it's one of the oldest rivalries in playoff history, TJ, these teams have gone at each other. Time and time again, seemingly every year they meet in the playoffs. And buckle up, here we go again, this is going to be a 6 or 7 game series, and depending on if Joel embiid is healthy or not, you know, Philly's Philly's dangerous, man.

"Yeah, I thought it couldn't happen, but it ended up happening with me and my God in Gerald McCoy. McCoy, my rookie year. Okay. He was an Oklahoma guy. So I said, you know, those guys not that bad. And being Joe still have a long-lasting friendship, you know, outside the football. So he's been like a mentor to me a big brother, so it could work out. Got it? It's got you all set for Baker Mayfield's arrival. Now you mentioned baker just moments ago. He's a quarterback who can on occasion wake up dangerous. What have you connected with him at all yet? Baker? No, I haven't. I haven't had a connection or a conversation with him yet, but we are far the general Instagram on social media and I'm sure sooner or later we would get the chance to sit down and talk face to face. I'm sure he's going to ask me for advice on the city and how to be a leader in the organization which has been blessed to be for the past 8, 9 years. So definitely give him some advice on that part. But in the day man, the locker room, you know, except whoever, you know, I feel like that's the main thing. You know, with the culture we built. And guys just buying in and what we're trying to do. And upholding that standard. I think that's what I think he fit in pretty well. Right. I spoke to baker just a couple days ago, Levante. So let me fill you in. He's got a golden doodle Irish Saturday named mister Fergus, so clear a dog rescue guy because he and his wife are dogs. Oh, you have a golden doodle yourself? I don't have one, but I love them though. Okay, it's a golden doodle Irish setter, a beautiful, a beautiful looking dog. We're showing it on the screen right here. So when you watch this back later, he's also genuinely jacked to have this opportunity. As you know, his career and how things have gone, as I pointed out to him, thank goodness he left, that he just like his dog knows how it's like to be rescued from the dog pound. We all know his journey to land and Tampa and how Tampa is a spot when I understand contrast is there for a competition. A starting role. There's not a lot of starting roles out there, and there's also there's not a lot of Mike Evans, not a lot of godwins, not a lot of Russell gages. I mean, this is ready made, and I'm wondering if you feel the same way with baker, showing up there. I do feel the same way. I do feel the same way. They care, obviously, talented. He had a moment where the talent show and I feel like, you know, what direction we're going. And we'll be trying to build on. And I think the locker room comfortable and you won't have to put a lot on his shoulders, you know, there won't be a lot of pressure on him. It's a team game. So all we expect him to do is just come in and do his job and everything else. Take care of yourself. Okay. And so what do you say to bux fans? You are the OG. What do you say to them? You know, just get ready for another exciting year. Last year, then go to where we wanted to go. A lot of ups and downs last year, a lot of things that we wouldn't happy with. We didn't play through our standards, but it's a new year. And you guys get ready, you know, the almost every beginning last year was probably sold out and it was a fun and hopefully the same happens this year because definitely going to be a full year ready to get after it. So give me your, as I let you go on with your good Friday, Levante David. Your favorite Tom Brady story. My favorite comic book from maybe his first years, first arrival. What do you got for me? My favorite Tom Brady story, I believe you were 75 going to the bari in 2020. Yes, your before we made the run. I recall. And I remember, you know, we don't really have like a two game industry or a three game industry, one of them, and then I remember doing about week me and Tom ran to each other and he came to me and he was like, trust me, you're trying to sing around. We're not going to lose another game. And that kind of stood out to me and we didn't listen to the game, man, even though I'm winning the Super Bowl. He was right. I already had major tunnel respect from right there, but look, I've seen his eyes, he was like no other. I knew it was what happened. He took us there. Where was it? The supermarket? Were you just doing protocell? Ran to your connector and ran into each other. Where was it? We was in a facility. In the hallway, I was walking out going to the players lounge and he was coming from somewhere and I saw him and we went to talking and he said that. I'm like, okay. And then it happened. Correct. And I remember, because you guys lost to Kansas City, the team who you eventually saw back in that building and beat in that building for the Super Bowl, you lost, I mean, Tyree kill had something like 200 yards receiving in the first quarter alone. And that's the way that you guys went to 7 and 5. And there was a general sense of, whoop. Well, that's the way the first year for Brady and Tampa is going to go. And so just one last strand of pull here. What made him say that, do you think? What made him say that to you? I mean, obviously, you know, the doubters, the thousands out there, Pete was talking saying, you know, I think it was saying we make it to the probability of losing the first round or we better get it together. And things like that. But I'm sure, you know, it was in the back of his mind that obviously it was in the back of my, but I knew eventually we were going to turn around all we needed was a little spark and we got it for somewhere. Maybe it was that that conversation was from him. And everything just turned around. Everybody came back ready to go and everything just clicked. Everything was just going are we? Levante David, thanks for the time. Congrats on the one year deal to 12 year in a row for you in Tampa. Let's keep it up. Let's keep up the communication. I always appreciate it when you take the time to call on the show. Thank you. No problem. Thank you, rich. Thank you for having me. You got Levante, David. 12 years now and hopefully for him counting in Tampa right here in the rich eisen show. Is that surprising that Brady's like, we're not going to lose another game. And then they didn't lose another game. I mean, what a great story from Levante David right there. Yeah, we were just running each other at that 2020 season. Here I am, like, what'd you run at each other? Supermarket dove where we were all shut down as a country. No one was really walking around a supermarket. Imagine if they were in the self checkout line. That would have been big because I'm sure the Buccaneers were like, everybody stay home and everybody's staying in the facility and it was in the facility when they were in there by week after losing to the Kansas City Chiefs to drop the 7 and 5 and they're like, you're saying to each other, I guess. What's happening in Brady's like, we got this. We're not going to lose another game. And then they did. Get it on. And that's the sort of can do mentality that's going to be brought to the front offices of the Las Vegas aces of the WNBA. A new part owner of said team announced yesterday, Tom Brady, love it. Now, he is a partner of Mark Davis.

"Three of the rich eisen show is now on the air here in Los Angeles, California where it's sunny outside. I'm sure everybody around the country is enjoying hearing his complaining about The Rain here. I did not act the same. It's great. It's big yellow thing in the sky is called the sun. We're here on the Roku channel. For free on all Roku devices, select Samsung smart TVs, Amazon fire TV, the Roku app and the Roku channel dot com. On the Roku app we're free because the Roku channel is free within it. We had a great second hour chat with the commissioner of Major League Baseball rob Manfred, who made it seem like they're not completely set in stone on having the pitch clock in the 9th inning at games, which is great because as I pointed out, the whole Otani trout confrontation that wrapped up the will baseball classic every single pitch was a violation. And I liked the drama building. You know what I'm saying? And I think he understood what I was saying. He picked it up. And so we had a great chat with him an hour number two. 8 four four two O four Richard the number of doll here an hour number three. If you missed that conversation, we were first two hours, we re air right here on the Roku channel channel two ten. And this hour we'll talk about will levis pro day. He did show up with the aforementioned cannons. On full display. We'll talk about one of the top quarterbacks available in this year's draft out of Kentucky. And also what's more likely a usual Friday staple as we get set for more March Madness activity tonight after last night's great games between Gonzaga and UCLA and Kansas state and Michigan state and Florida Atlantic upsetting Tennessee Yukon advancing as well. Joining us on the phone line is one of four individuals now that he is resigned to stay with Tampa for a 12th consecutive season after being drafted in 2012 by the team out of Nebraska. The fourth member of an exclusive club, individuals who have played a dozen consecutive years for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Paul Gruber, Hall of Famer Derek Brooks, and soon to be Hall of Famer rendez barber, joining us on this program as someone who's joining that select group, Levante David of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, how are you doing Levante? This is great, great. I'm doing great. How about you? How's that introduction for you? How about that one? Yeah, that was amazing. I was going to comment on it. That was pretty good. How about that? 12 years in a row, Levante. And Tampa Bay. That is quite an achievement. Obviously in this league and certainly in a position where you throw your body around the way that you do, I wonder what you think of when you hear that. Yeah, I mean, not greatly appreciated organization for sticking with me. Blurry to God is always and I must be doing something right on the field. Keeping me around, you know, just trying to stay productive as much as I can and that could be mentioned with the names like those guys you said. Definitely an honor because I know a couple of those guys personally, I know how much it meant for those guys. So for me, you mentioned the same breath of those guys that definitely a blessing. Well, it's not just the team giving you the opportunity. It's you. Taking the opportunity that the bucks gave you as opposed to what other teams might have been offering you and free agencies. Is it true? The bills were knocking on your door? As well? Yeah, I heard the chatter, you know, it was basically like when I when things get started, get a little tight with me in the books when I was about to when everything about to get the deal was about to be closed. I started hitting a little charter from the bills late, but I was already locked in a champ but that's where I wanted to be obviously for others reasons, but of the just to continue my football career and continue to have fun feel there. I want to be one. I wouldn't want any medication. So does that mean you told von Miller the word no? Levante. Is that true? Is that what I'm telling you? I didn't have no conversation with him. Okay. I don't know. All right. Maybe if he would have reached out probably have been a different conversation. Okay, okay, I understand. Well then what are the obvious reasons to re signing Tampa then? Lay it out for you? Just a commodity I bit with the guys on the team, you know, and obviously, you know, being there, my whole career. And then a bond that I have with coach Bowles and of course Larry foote and the coat of staff. And then just stand true to what I want to do. I feel like I built the legacy there, the city of Tampa loves me. And I've been doing great community work there. So I just want to keep that up. So, you know, that's probably what the main reason why I came back and obviously get another opportunity to play football, get another snap that run in the division. We wanted the vision back to back. Obviously, this year is a different year. So it's definitely should be a fun go around. Well, I mean, and those are all completely understandable reasons why you want to resign in the legacy one is something that's, you know, you can't touch because that's something you've built, something you've earned, and it's something that you had the opportunity to continue. I totally, I totally get it. But from just outside fans point of view, looking at it, it does appear that the Buccaneers are in a retooling mode, what would you say to that Levante? Yeah, I mean, you know, me going to my 12 year that definitely was another factor that, you know, kind of having the way into my decision because when I obviously had a long talk with the GM, it told me a lot of people saying rebuild, but it was rebuilt, a lot of the guys would have been gone, you know? So, and it made sense, you know, we lost our quarterback to retirement and then lost a couple of guys due to the cap and things like that, but the majority of the core guys are still there. So it definitely makes sense to me. And I feel like we still got a piece to be able to make noise and other vision and get a chance to get in the playoffs. So that theory supposition on the part of fans that Brady's gone and fournette's gone and there is a cap ramifications to Brady retiring. You brought this up with Jason liked the idea that there's a retool going on. You actually mentioned that to the GM? Yeah. That's on you? Yeah, yeah. I mean, I want to know, you know. It's a rebuild type year I was starting all over and then he was like, no, it's not a rebellion yet. We just retooling, making some tweaks here and there. But the majority of rocks that are still intact just had to unfortunately make some capacities and then obviously we lost our quarterback due to retirement. And that's the main thing we'll make people think is the redo here because we lost all real quarterback, but I feel like we got a guy on Baker Mayfield and the cow trash those guys with compete and fight. And see where we go from there. But defensively, we have a lot of the key guys back. And offensively, we got a lot of hot key weapons back. Mike Evans and Chris goblin. So we definitely got the tools to fit into the business also on the NFL. Levante David here on the rich eisen show three time all pro linebacker has resigned for a 12th consecutive year in Tampa, one of only four guys to ever have that distinction right here on the rich eisen show. So in Nebraska God can play with an Oklahoma guy? Is that true? That can actually happen? Yeah, I thought it couldn't happen, but it ended up happening with me and my God in Gerald McCoy. McCoy, my rookie

"And i said videos and pictures of the shading league and all this stuff i was just like this is bullcrap. He hit him inbounds. Just an cost us the game. Yeah one they david. He doesn't do crap like that. Y'all lord gel suck. But anyhow i just find that amazing six penalties over the course of was he ninth year now. Yeah is that even possible. I shall. It's gotta be a record but again i'm not not pa. I'm trying to look it up now. hobby effect. Yeah in fact check follow the. This is incredible. You know and. I don't think he got a penalty thursday night either. Don't remember but he just never gets penalized. He just plays good footba. How about them apples. He's just outrageous but there were there were a lot of teams that just like crap yesterday and you know it's week one kind of expect it a lot of a lot of our just ugly plan. Well it's easy for us to say to when we're sitting on her ivory tower in the bucks fan base looking down our noses it all. These loves we've got tom brady bitches so know. Eleven eleven penalties. I think we're leading the league. Probably either last year to right. Wasn't that a big thing. Oh they're getting so. Many penalties are undisciplined. Remember the saints game. Yeah yeah the beginning of the year. Yeah and then. We had like a couple couple of weeks where we get any penalties. Yeah shut up. Everybody so i guess i'm trying. I'm trying to look up the okay. We're gonna have to do it later. We gotta go get the young in. Oh yeah i gotta get pizza. Tim starving so anyhow guys we look great. Apparently the less the rest of the league were still be on top notch Some bar nemesis are going down carolina. Not looking too great course. Mccaffrey still a threat. new orleans. I i think they're overrated five touchdowns in a hundred and forty eight yards. Gotta yell admit there's something something a little screwy there right. It's probably an outlier. But i very much so and like i said green bay look like they didn't have any flight element all Atlanta they look talk. They look bad offensive. Defensive line is so you know threats there green bay. I don't think they're going to be much of a threat. Rams kind of worried about a little bit But really you know the eagles. We'll see i. I wanna get a bigger data set with them you know. They might have just plowed over atlanta because atlanta socks. Which is kind of what i'm guessing. So we'll see other than that was a great great week one. We're at the top of our division. So you know screw everybody we looking good we all right we all right anything else. You say now this is gonna be a short one day. We got the game. Gotta get already for that. Baltimore is playing the raiders as we get our first gay stats carlin to update dough. Yeah we're gonna have gay stance wednesday. We get to watch. Gerald mccoy see what he does. He'll be a rotating player. Most likely whole probably get a sack in the first quarter. Second quarter something like that when it doesn't matter and not doing anything for us again. 'cause we'll have his his numbers him. But i guarantee you do after game press conference. Oh absolutely approach five of them.

"Beat by ten points. The nfl thirty jobs team. I just said it's going to go twenty or would you had them going twelve and five. Okay so what do you twin team. Don't get beat my twenty. You know better than twelve and five. No hold on just play. That's just a regular season. No twelve and five team with us would mvp candidate. They don't get beat by the. I told you they'll lose a home playoff game so twelve and six versus twenty. No first of all you winning twelve games. So let's just start with that. Yes we are so michael vick shape the fact that you just gave my my dallas cowboys. The credibility of scoring twenty one points against that tampa bay defence. Do you see dak throwing touchdown passes how. How will that happen. A cylinder but everything. What i'm hoping that zeke is back and forth formal hoping that they can run the football effectively which in turn to make dax job a little bit easier Maybe two touchdown passes out of debt. I do think the offense will be better. I can't wait to see how to jail and what has transpired since last year. What's gonna be know. What's going to be innovative in terms of mike mccarthy and the offense that he's building around deck. That's going to be extremely important. Okay so i'm close to your score. I've got thirty to twenty one. Tom brady. Because i don't believe that my team will get embarrassed. I believe this is going to be a battle through three quarters into the fourth quarter. And i think it's going to take one last long brady. Dr classic vintage brady drive to put this game away. Because i think it's going to be in the twenty three to twenty one range. Maybe until eight or nine minutes or left and then here will come brady doing what he always does to everybody. He will slowly but surely put this game away. I think jack will outplay him. Statistically because i think he'll throw dakhil three fifty brady it'll be just a little over three hundred. Maybe three or five. I believe tampa bay will run it for one hundred twenty yards. Because that's what they do and what. My defense has a hard time stopping. And yet i got dacic three fifty. I'm afraid zeke will have a hard time because there's no zack. Martin it's always zach zeke. That's the super highway. That zeke likes to take do lab the tampa. Bay buccaneers was the number one rush defense and all the football and the remember. They did that with the lion's share of the season better than have the best one defender and beat a bail. Now he's three fifty cent new within dhamma consumer okay to make a run. The football michael said that. I did not say that part of the challenge. That's a big part of the challenge. I mean offensively. Can you run the football. I don't care if they're the best number one rain defense against russian. And that what you wanna do. That's winning twenty one. What you what you want to be mega have to happen. Because most importantly they got to keep. Tom brady on the silent league. Tom brady on the sidelines. So they're going to control the clock one way or another not then. You put the ball in tom. Brady has and that's chaotic for the defense. Well you're actually picking a blowout team. My teams seventeen points against the number one rushing dates. Give you realize an nfl game. Losing my fourteen of the blowout. I know have some guts hedging. Your bets on everything is getting a blow out to me would be forty five to six. It's alabama how to be. Somebody committed suicide and the game at some point. Thirty one seventeen man. You had a shot in the game. At some point a shot we started became the only issue here. What's halftime is going to be. Will they get thirty one by halftime. No no no no. I'm gonna say scored twenty four seven and a half okay so now back to my cowboy defense. This is a huge test. On opening night they get thrown to the wolves. They don't deserve to be here. This is completely unfair to my team. Not here on reputation. America's team cowboy mystique jerry jones hard knocks. That's the only reason they're in this game tonight so to michael's point got to use it as a measuring. Stick to see where you are. I think my team is going to be very good. You're playing an all time. If they get to twenty an unpredicted they will go down as possibly the greatest team in the team if they know because that's better than the seventeen in the which the dolphins went back there. The only played got him but some people will probably still argued that the eighty five bears or better. You can't be better than oh okay. It'll get better than that. Testing will say the bears were better. But i think this team has a chance to be the greatest team in history. So it's unfair for us to get thrown to the wolves we finished third in the worst division. Maybe ever last year in the nfc rights right. So i still say that. We're going to shock some people. Because i agree with mike mccarthy that he said in all his years coaching in the nfl and he's been around a long time. I've never seen one side of the ball. Get flipped off season the way our defense got flipped personnel. That what he michael bake all the guys. That were there because gerald mccoy and the guy to be got from kansas city. All the guys. That's the only thing that flip ain't nothing blitz. No pre like he's brought in some guys like he brought it leuke clear ray lewis and he brought on jalen ramsey and they got a mile garrett man stop this what. Michael parsons best. Defensive player in the draft. All that's one guy one guy okay do you think trevan digs racial emerges a pro bowl quote. We have his hand for the wheels. That's the that's the one thing. I love about sports the way. Go low before you get to prove it you all talking now. I want you to have that. Same energy will taboo debris youtube. My because i want you to come back tomorrow. How would you come back ball. I know. I said i'm definitely going back. I'm definitely going show. Don't believe that. Do like the dallas cowboys defenseman microprocessors deadly in the middle is going to be one of the guys who got to be the staple it control the how to defense maneuvers. This is going to be a good test. Step in the right direction. Even if is a thirty one. Twenty one game like unpredicted. It's still a confidence builder. It's gonna build some carrots. If they can learn from this they can move on. And who's to say they not gonna win fifty fifty chance for everyone channel fifty something you think they're gonna win on now you don't pay them now. You know halloween we still we still about forty five days away from halloween. Don't come here tomorrow with a mask. Because i know who you are who you are michael. Big talked about the cowboys. Got a i like they. Would you say. No i mean look. I like beatrice moving forward in the season this night. I can't say talking about the greatest lineup. They all right eye. Talboys tonight will win a moral victory. Walk bigger tier. Yeah i'll be back on tomorrow. That's good enough for you and your boys. Don't worry though. We're not done with mike. We need to ask if dak prescott will ever be viewed as a top five quarterback..

"Obgyn radio for final segment. Jimmy we have this written down in the show notes for last week. And i'm assuming by the way we're done their observations right. You didn't. that's good enough. Yeah yeah same me. We're kind of stretching there at the end. Anyway i was gonna say erin suboxone point the punter yet a four point four eight hang time on the time on the fifth best in the league on average last year so there you go really exciting anyway. You had this mark down the show sheet last week. We didn't get too long. You ask the question. Where do you have. The eagles ranked in terms of nfl wide in the nfc in the nfc east. Let's do them in reverse order on that day. So where would you have that makes the most sierra what word you have managed east so i have them for the nfl. Although as i did record prediction i had them. What eight and nine this year ended with you. And then i did it. With rj on the nfc's mix tape and we actually went through. We didn't go game by game for each team right odd cast but we did that activity on our own and said the records at the end of it. Okay and i came out with this weird scenario where washington wins the division at nine eight and every other team goes eight nine. Okay so it's not a like like you know huge drop off from the other teams that i do have them for how would you rank them the division i output washington i right now I think they're the best head coach. I think patrick is kind of underrated as back. And i just don't like mike mccarthy at all. I don't trust him yeah i can. I know dax good. But i i think dax early season last year is being a little bit romanticized to like. He wasn't going to keep on. That pacey was on and the first year the way those numbers he was posting like. There's some empty numbers in there. The team was losing like they weren't good wasn't like killing teams in his posting. Great numbers he was like posting these numbers because they kept getting the ball back because their defense can stop anyone anyway. So yeah i the cowboys to the giants three. And then you'll see last. What about you have cowboys one. Because i do think that deck is substantially better than any other quarterback in the division I do have enough injury though. I do like the washington football team's roster from top to bottom side of course better than any other team in division. I actually think there are significantly better than any coaching staff. Yeah i like rivera Cowboys i think even though i'm not a big oh man. What's the defensive coordinators naming real. Dan win dan. Quinn can't think of that. I like. I'm not a big dan quinn guy. But he's going to be an upgrade over. Can't remember his name either. No net known mike dolan. Mike nolan joke of a higher. Yes like i mean. He's been a terrible. Gordon was the last two or three stops or whatever. It was pretty predictable that he was going to be good. Yeah their defense trash and remains try actually there are sniffing around apparently gino atkins last year. They sign or they signed. Gerald mccoy griffin getting. Hurt like immediately So anyway they're going back to that. Well they're dirty events garbage but Do you think the dak. And there. I mean those receivers in cooper gallup in lamb lamb. Very quietly had a pretty good year last year. Seventy something catches nine hundred. Something yards only five touchdowns. But that's only going to go up On the zeke is cooked but the offense wanted still good enough. Were on the downswing. But they're still good enough so obviously healthy. I think they're down mean it's kind of a toss up who's better like the cowboys offense or the football team defense. Would you take. I would take the football team defense. Even though i think defense in the stickier the year and that concerns me but i think people are overrating the health concern like i said this before my biggest fear jimmy that the cowboys would have done in. The draft was not to your quarterback with their first trump. It was that they would have taken off until women. Because i think the offensive line isn't in good shape especially gets hurt again like i think they're offensive line could easily unravel this season. I have definitely taken rashaan slater over. Mike parsons our them. yes i when. They're on the clock. Like i was like i was okay. Well there's going to be response later here and no so. I thought the giants were gonna take him once. Devante was gone and then of course. They traded out Anyway so i've giants three now. I think it's closed between the giants. Kneel i don't think giants are good at all. I'm not a daniel jones guy even a little bit their offensive. Line still sucks. They do have good scopus players. They do of good pieces on defense. Secondary's fine but they don't have a pass rush. And i mean their linebackers are good. I guess but like it's just not a team that i don't like the gentleman's been getting better. At least he's just not making like absurd some good moves like and they've drafted a okay ish but i just don't i just don't like The way that the roster's constructed at all. But i would still give them a slight edge over the eagles. Yeah do you think the giants win more games than they do last year. Which is like what like six. They're six.

Mike nolan mike dolan Mike parsons Jimmy Gordon last week last year patrick nfc Seventy washington nine hundred Gerald mccoy griffin erin five touchdowns rashaan slater six rivera Cowboys nine three stops

"It's boring. Tom brady's boring he's born. Watch always hates. Tom brady because i was just like you know when he's fun is when he's mad really. Ooh he's doing somebody out. I would not want to be on the other end of that. It is like the super bowl. It was boring to most people. Most people stopped watching. I mean we were the last ones left out of town. But it's kind of defensive boring. I'm sorry defense is boy. I love defense defense of the reason why i love. The buccaneers while fell over the buccaneers. But it's boring. You not your average player or your average fans anyhow. That's my thought on all that mass but Gerald mccoy he. He's not coming back. It was it was the first thing. That bruce arians did when he became coach was to get rid of gerald mccoy. And i think that was the reason why you know it's like i want a more consistent player Leadership all that good stuff won't stop rick. Strahl from dana's waterboy rick. John had an article on it to just which is funny. Because rick stroud the famous or infamous. Jerry mccoy is not going anywhere. Article away for cut. And he of course had a glowing. Expose all jerem mccoy when all this information came out about jerry mccoy saying he wouldn't mind coming back to the buccaneers that they have in what i find strange about this is. I can't remember them doing this about any other player. I mean look at adam humphreys and reaches out there adam. Humphrey is our wearing him back in a second. I have yet to hear a single reporter talk about. The buccaneers bringing out of harm's by railway vincent jackson retard and there was no mention of it anywhere. You were just like. Yeah you know of our wind chat dilfer. He went to baltimore won a super bowl. They got rid of him. I didn't hear a single reporter talk about. We should get dough for back now. They like dermot mccoy because he's a media guy. He gives a complete abscess. He talks to them all the time. He's giving them inside information. That's they're biased. Get back on the team so they can get that easy inside information. Yeah all right. Let's talk about the current buccaneers. You ready giovanni bernard we never talked about those. So we brought him in He's on a veteran minimum deal. It's a one point. Seven five million dollars base salary and then a hundred thirty seven thousand dollars signing bonus he only counts at nine hundred eighty seven thousand against the cap not bad. I like to that cincinnati. Although he was. I would always get him in fantasy football. Then yeah it was very strange very consistent. Ya when he plays so. He is more of a pass. Catching back right. That's funny everybody's consistent is a consistent fantasy football producer. And that's what this team is all about your consistency. That's funny Yeah they say he's a good catch a pass catcher. That's but that's kinda leonard fournette. Same too right. i mean. That's the role that he had last year. So we've got giovanni brusca leonard fournette and roggio So we got a pretty stacked running back room and We've still got what's his face the rookie vice john. Keyshawn ball bon. I always want to say johnson so giovanni was kind of a surprise. I i mean. I expected them to try to upgrade the running back room. But i thought it might be through the draft and there's nothing that says they're not gonna do that. I mean not that we need anything i think. They're draft strategy. This year is just best available. That's what likes it which i'm cool with two. I mean every. Where's the like offense of you can never have enough offensive linemen. Let's just you like you know. Carolina last year did all defense. Let's just do all offensive line. Just pick up a bunch of beasts specialty in the special teams who is it The kid city. They're beefing up their offense line. They needed to because they cut their two left tackles didn't have any money they just start. Trading tackles was orlando brown. They traded with the ravens for their off. Shoring up just fun. It ain't going to help us. Well not against a running quarterback like futile. Why why bother. I mean i get having someone average. But i mean yeah you're going to get these offensive linemen who can give out 'cause fucking sacks genus forty sacks. Yeah i mean when you can't you speaking of the Football players loving the wrestling world. Seems like they're. They're starting to migrate to the sea. Two there was a picture out. A somebody i picture. Said buccaneers quarterback blaine gabbert. Who's in the billing exclamation point and he brought to teammates. How nice and it was blaine. Gabbert mike evans and tom brady found it so funny playing gala. Well what they did though. Is they crop. That picture. They did not show in the whole posse and they. The picture showed blaine gabbert. Mike evans and tom brady but on the other side of tom brady was alex I wanna say it alex's trainer oh drew which they do not like. I don't know the media does not like this guy And i wanna say another player. I wanna say like ryan griffin. Was there too so it was not just those three. There were more people there They cut him out though. I can't remember who else it wasn't the picture Antonio brown was also at that match. He was with jake. Paul i think pretty sure he was sitting. Yeah he was all dressed to the nines. Like hit believes are antennae. Run like five gold chains. He was looking looking stiffy. He put on his best Did you hear that. And tony. Arounds lawsuits settled roller. Yeah so we wondered if that might be something that was delaying The bucks resigning him. What is up with john. Watson stuff the i find it very strange that i don't even know what.

Mike evans ryan griffin jerry mccoy tom brady blaine gabbert giovanni bernard Jerry mccoy jerem mccoy Tom brady Paul Gabbert giovanni blaine gerald mccoy alex leonard fournette roggio forty sacks Antonio brown john

I believed he was an artist on the court and i loved how he honed in his technique and who he was as a competitor and He's always had that. You hear these stories about kobe when he was a teenager and you know he was nine years old of six years old putting up ninety points stuff he always had a great skill set but his mindset how he attacked everything He was he didn't fear anything. Anybody shack tell stories how. Kobe was fighting him in practice. Like fighting. fighting check of all people in shacks at he knew then he say this guy's different 'cause he's like fearless and i just love the way he attacked the game and the way he attacked his profession and then even with all the is against him because of the off the field off the court. Excuse me issues. He had how he changed his life right before he passed away. You heard all these different stories about kobe. Mentor in this purse. Lightning talking to this person that mentor in person. Doing this for these kids talking to this person. He won a one in a ward. And it's like this is the same to everybody was ridiculing. We had issues with his wife in saying that he was this person. He wasn't a great person. He's a horrible teammate. Now air by saying how great a mentor is. And they've all changed their games because they've had off the off season conversation cobian. He's flying this place workout. That player and flying that place in before is like is all about kobe. "Will you let somebody else determine what happens with choose right because they sent me an email now have to deal with you so anything you do never let anybody else determines who what you are. I love playing football. And i don't believe i'm done with playing football but if i never play again let the. Nfl define who. I am true if they don't want the nfl me. Playing football is just the beginning of whoever would be doing so. There's that quote by owner roosevelt. Y'all know it very well right. Nah never let anyone make you feel inferior without your consent. And i think in today's day there's a lot of people that especially younger younger kids at put each other down the constantly just cutting on kids and it's easy to feel inferior especially in the social media world where everyone looks great and it's all about that. It's easy to not feel as good as other people could. You're you're judging yourself based on. What other people's outsides are versus. What their insights are. And i think you're you're you're right on there. What if what if you never played football again. What would be next for me. My plan is to do some on tv without start with Not commentating an analyst analyst Do podcast yeah. He compete against drew all career. I know drew's team anyway. i know for sure i'm going to podcast. I'm going to have some type of youtube something. Because i just. My face belongs on camera in my face. Belong saying you gotta face for radio face so i'm gonna do something of that magnitude but i want to be an actor. I really just love. I've always found it fascinating how i can notice. Your name is denzel washington but you can make me believe you. This person always believe the best actors of people who play roles so good that it really affects me looking at you outside of the movie. You're getting pretty lit up right now. Yeah talking about acting and gabe. More importantly importantly. Here's what i wanna do. I just want to change. Lives of some magnitude. My my son was like he said pops. You can try tonight all you. Won't you could try and fight it and push it off all you want but you need to go except you're going to be a minister. I'm like i don't mind. I don't want to be a pastor. I believe in a pastor is not for everybody but being minister whether it's traveling speaking to beat groups and i've always here. Here's we're high share earlier. Got to find out what your gifts are. That's a gift. I've never been in front of any sort of crowd. I don't know if you've ever seen this. I've never been shied any moment or been in front of any sort of crowd. Two three four two people or two or three or four thousand people doesn't faze me. it's just i speak. I say what. I have to say. And i move on it doesn't faze me and that's not easy to do. You see people can sit in the locker room and beat a clown locker room via class clown but as soon as they say. Hey i want you to the front and talk to the class at tc. Do your report frees up. I've never had an issue. Never seen in that. I've never had issue with that. So i believe that's a gift i have and i need to use. I can see that. I told you. See that they..

These functions are already a part of it. 'cause already been tested so the ultimate and major manufacturer of life. You don't think that god would send us out without testing us. We're already been tested. So god knows what we can do and what he sent us out to so once you get that mindset that. I'm not here to fail. Nothing's gonna phase you. Take your life to the next level. So any kid. I'm talking to how it tell them. This boy dream killers. Dream killer is anything that comes to hinder or stop with. Dream is so if you want to. Ooh it's about your dreams and you've got to avoid drink killers and then i will say it is always tell kids. It's put yourself in the hallway. You ever look. Put yourself in a hotel hallway. There's doors on right doors on the left right so if you're walking at the end of hallways where the it is on the first floor usually on the first floor if you look at the end as window light shining through all right. That should go. That's your destination on the right doors. Left is doors when you walk in this door on the right opens or you're supposed to. You're not supposed to go in there during the left. "Lettuces them natural born competitiveness. And you just natural born competitor and you always go and compete over anything if you have been. Nfl arc room. I'm sure there's an nba locker. We compete over everything shooting Paper in the trash can whether it's grabbing this chair whether it's talking about sports when we compete in everything so that's just life for us but we just so happened to play a sport and then be able to and get paid for the one thing that you do that. You may take for granted and i would tell anybody is when you're going to injury whether it be acute or chronic that you must attack that injury like you are a pro athlete. So if you're not a proactive that means you have to literally eat breathe and sleep the rehabbing on it. So you put yourself in a situation where you don't end up with arthritis or you know much scar tissue that you arrange a motion is impeded which leads to other injuries. And and in in piedmont and things like that. So i think it's important regardless we talk about once physical health that we do everything we can from the recovery standpoint from the pre habilitation standpoint from the rehab standpoint. So that we can physically feel our best because we know that if we're physically not feeling good it affects our mindset and whether it's gerald mccoy or any other athlete that That i work with that has been injured. The hardest part is being on the sideline and not being part of the team and the rigors of having to rehab four four hours a day on that. So i'm always curious on that. How do you think it's going to take joe. What's it gonna take for you to get back to the we get signed this year..

And i actually got busted for their shoes. Like you made a decision for me. You don't get to make decisions for me. I know what i signed up for. When i married an nfl player. And you can't be great or do what it is you do at a high level and be a hundred one hundred percents. Father is one other and since your career doesn't last long. I'm willing to make that sacrifice for these few years. And then after that. I expect the hundred percent father slash talk about that because last year with the cowboys for your quad tendon. What's keeping you going now. What what is it mean. you don't have to play. No you're you're you could say i'm done what it's been you driving to play another year or two each in love for the game is not gonna you know they're passionate still there and i know how great a shape was in coming into last year First few practices were really good with the cowboys and I just knew something special is going to happen. And i don't believe my time is up and just got so much left. And i think it's bigoted in it. I think i have more or left to give outside of football while i'm in the nfl. So i just is. I'll be able to know. I don't know when this time is not done yet. Your training like a madman days. A week double sessions. I'm either gonna do workouts pilates. Gerald is the last five years with the buccaneers and the panthers and then the cowboys and now free agent waiting to get picked up overcoming injuries. Talk about your injuries. And how do you keep your mind right when you're battling serious injuries. Talk about a few of those injuries and high. Keep your mind right about your focus and it can get tough in. Get tough but my faith is a big part of me. It is it is me. It is who i am and what i'm about and I just believe that. God didn't create people to not be successful and he created us to succeed but god never say it is going to be easy and everything's going to be perfect. You're going to have struggles You're going to have tough times and you know there's everybody pretty much everybody has hurt this Bible says guy will never put more unit. You can bear. I don't believe that. What i believe is i will never put more on you than you could bear alone and always believed it through all my struggles. Anything go through guys with me. Always lean on. God and make sure i'm praying and give everything i have back to god and make sure that i don't go through by myself because with all the trials and tribulations that come with this life it is extremely difficult to go through by yourself and i make sure that i don't do that. What those issues that you've had a you've struggled through last few years or so apparently My quad i went to what happened was is i i did my mri and my physical for cowboys and their said did i. "More about themselves than not or something like that. And i was like he's going to get rid of jerem koi sure enough. He came in and got rid of gerald mccoy. I was the first thing he did. And i you know. I think that bruce arians doesn't like him as a player you know. I don't think he's good for locker. Because bruce bruce arians really likes his players as veterans to be leaders in the locker united. Jp downtown sue. Tom brady these guys. He expects them to be extra coaches in locker room. And he's made no bones about this you know. He wrote a book matt coaches. Wasn't that type of guy and he doesn't like that. So i think as long as bruce arians is here. Gerald mccoy will back. Unless it's for a one-day deal to retire the best he can hope for. You'd never know them crazy world. I just don't see it happening. But he went to. The panthers are rival supposedly. He could have gone to cleveland or baltimore or all these other teams supposedly but instead he chose. The panthers are rival. Mega everybody's got like twelve oracle's here talking about it. Is that a thing why who married. I have a few yeah. i don't. it's not gonna happen. I just don't think it is because for it to happen. Mccoy would have to set in his ego aside to stick. He's got a big ego. Yeah i absolutely do always well recorded always about mccoy. So it's just it's not gonna happen all right. Let's talk about some of the guys we do wanna bring back. Perhaps and he. We might see go. Okay let's we're going to start with the offense in are receiving corps which that got all the more interesting after today's news so we've resigned. We got chris godwin back so then. Do you bring antonio brown back. Yes jean agree. I just don't think that there's a big market for older receivers with personality issues. So i think that we can get him for a pretty good deal. Yeah it seems like the only person that contain antonio brown. Is tom brady Because i mean. He went to oakland and just freaked out. Yeah you know after the patriots allow anna just and i don't think at this point in his career. He's expecting to break the bank. I mean he's made seventy seven million over his career..

Laura Okmin from Westwood one, Laura, Pleased to have you on how are you? I'm so happy to be on. Thank you for having me. I'm terrific. And like everybody counting down the days till Sunday. Absolutely so. So take me inside. We talk so much about the players preparations. What about someone That's going to be a part of the broadcast team? How? How much prep Have you put in leading up to the Super Bowl and you still have a couple of days to go? I suppose. It's so true. It's never ending. Prep, you know. I'm gonna sound like a cliche player and a cliche coach when I say this, but it really is true. I've been doing this a really long time and so you preparations stays the same. That's the one thing I can count on. So it's so to be honest, with the exception of a now having two weeks. To do this. My hope is always you can't tell the difference in my preparation. If it's weak to Worf, it's a Super Bowl, So I hope I prepared the same and nothing changes except maybe a few more butterflies. On band. I was probably a few more butterflies on top of that this year because it's so different and doing the game is going to be so different for a sideline reporter. But in terms of the preparation Really is doing the same thing that we've done. You know, every week for the last, however many years and in this case, you know the last 20 something we And just diving into all these incredible story lines. So what are you? You're not going back and forth What sideline or you're gonna be stationed at on Sunday. Had that. That's one of the weird thing. So it's so different this year. We're not allowed to move. You know that. We're, um We're basically on a perch and have a chair and sit in one spot, and that's a different than how it's been all season long. We've been able to I'm usually with the NFL on Fox during the regular season. And a sideline reporter basically could walk the entire stadium. You just walking down that first row and we would have from the 32 30 on both sides, and people could walk through that nobody could sit there, so we really have this great open area and so it's very different this year. Um, I have Tony the Sally who's also on the sideline with me, Hell, but will be opposite. But Tony's more of the analysts, you know, he's just a third person who happens to be on the field. I'll also be covering both sides. It'll just be Very different than what I've ever done because it's trying to cover both sides while not being able to move so Very much feels like a first not disappear suitable but first game doing it in a really different way. As you look at this matchup, and you've covered as I mentioned 13 Super Bowls. You've been a part of broadcasting for a couple of them. Now, when you look at And I guess it zeh everything but especially the quarterbacks with no homes and Brady. It makes it such a compelling matchup. When you think back to the 13 Super Bowls you've covered In terms of the anticipation, the excitement and the intrigue of this matchup. Where do you think it ranks? Looks like everything in this crazy year. This one just has it's own category because not only incredible story lines and I don't know if there's been a quarterback matchup that I've ever seen, you know, not just covering it, but I'm trying to look back. Just, you know, from being a kid and Watching. This is just No defeat Tom Brady. Let me Oh, do the goat or, you know one of the goat and then Ah young kid whose trajectory is going in that direction. It's just It's such a different It's a different story line and so exciting for so many reasons. But just how crazy this year is. And and how the one thing with the Super Bowl every year was the team's change. But everything else was pretty much the same. The craziness of the week. You know, this is what Monday looks like this is what Thursday looks like You know, this is what time the anthem is. This is what time to fly over it. This is when the fancy and everything's just been clockwork and like everything else this season, this game is just so unusual. So the fact that we have one home team, which we've never had, and the fact that we have another team that's flying and Saturday like any other regular season game, Um Is crazy. The fact that there's 25,000 fans and the 66,000 you know, Stadium of Seat stadium. You just So many So many 2020 kind of story lines that I just think there's always going to be a big asterisk on this one that this will be the covert Super Bowl. Laura Okmin. My guest. Many people already say that Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback of all time. Well, what are we supposed to say about Tom Brady if he wins? And championship for a second franchise and in go beats a I don't want to say protege, but like a contemporary, you know, beating Patrick bombs in this Super Bowl? What would we say about Tom Brady? Then if we already kind of acknowledged that he might be the greatest of all time? Had Hominy Hominy levels of goat is there and I guess I guess what that does is, there's still people who debate if he is the goat, and if you add that that's awfully hard to then say that compare him to really anybody. Because now we're saying that And one more thing that nobody else has. And so I think it's just some men who he is and cement what he's done and and answers. The question was a bell attacker. Was it Brady? You know the fact that The fact that You just picked the team, a team that Was so used to losing, and I had so many conversations with Gerald McCoy before he loves tampon, Cameron Great. Who's still there on the Vontae? David is still there and They told me as difficult as this is to say. You get used to lose it..

Raiders lose QB Carr, fall in overtime to Chargers, Herbert

"And chargers from last night chargers rookie justin herbert having himself a seasoning looked. Great again is quarterback sneak in overtime helped. The chargers win the raiders however their woes continued they lost derek carr early on replaced by marcus. Mariota was nice to see him in there. You look good look. Good enough raiders. Lose again it's four of five now in the loss column for them with their playoff hopes. All but dead coach. Genie is joining the conversation this morning. Good coach good morning but nick. I want to start with you. This raiders started six and three. They your chiefs. They were rolling what happened. How did this team fall apart. One second just very quickly. I'm happy for marcus. mariota chance. I thought he played well. I in came. Maybe gets an opportunity to compete for a starting quarterback job. It's always conducted himself well in this league and obviously didn't work out in tennessee. So i'm happy for him. Now to the raiders. Nobody likes somebody to say. I told you so. But i told you so. Everyone's like oh nick right and such a hater oh after they lost to the chiefs game on dvd. And everyone. everyone's congratulating the raiders though. They're dangerous they're scary. Oh they've given the chiefs try. They beat them once second done. And what i tell you. They're going to be the best team to miss. The i might be wrong about that. Not even sure. They're better than the vikings so they're going to be one of the best teams to miss the playoffs coach. They have a fancy new stadium in vegas. They haven't read. What fans there next year when fanshawe do you think they'll have one banner for beating the chiefs or two banners for beating the chiefs and almost beating the chiefs a second time as those are the two best moments of the gruden era. I'm not sure because this team has been terrible. Since they played the chiefs the second time some would say the chiefs still their soul. I don't know. I wouldn't go that far but i know their defense stinks their quarterback. Okay and jon. Gruden falls apart in the second half a season. These are things i know. And some of sought coming other people thought. Irina haters happened to the raiders. And do i take joy in the raiders failures. Yeah i do actually quite a bit. Where's that victory now. how about that. Where's your victory lap. Now remember that moment of arrowhead that your

Dallas Cowboys Offensive Line In Flux Due To Injuries

"Have lots of talk about as it relates the cowboys I just what I think of this team this year and the expectations after Jerry Jones finally made the gutting decision that led to Jason Garrett showing up the building every day with a binder underneath his arm and dutifully hoping that he would. Get a stay of execution cowboy fan celebrated not only the draft pick a CD lamb but a coach was skins. Mike McCarthy hasn't exactly translated into the season that they had hoped for, and we're expecting some of it has to do with injuries bobby and we'll get to those in a second but a lot of teams are having to deal with injuries this year. Yeah. I, mean, the team the cowboys have up here the browns they've got a lot of injuries to deal with I. Mean The seahawks had you know a lot of patchwork stuff that they were doing last Sunday against the cowboys and so injuries are an excuse they're not necessarily a good excuse though for this cowboys team I think they, they definitely are missing some guys. They probably feel a little bit like we're not gonNA know who we are for real until probably mid October when randy gets reinstated fully you get hopefully late and vander aeschbacher. Corner start getting healthy so. It may be a situation where the cowboys are kind of you know we're GONNA fight and we're GONNA get as best we can until we get healthy and that's not necessarily an excuse that they're giving. It's just this is the way it's gotta be, and we kind of make do a little bit because they are decimated in the secondary. They've had issues at linebacker they've you know had the issues along the offensive line they lost jar when they're starting tight end and So I, mean they've definitely. Had those issues the thing that they don't want. You, you can't really do anything about injuries. You just adapt as best. You can the thing they don't want his they can't have. Three drops and you know two and a half yards per touch from Zeke Elliott. They can't have Jalen Smith missing tackles consistently and still be sixty million dollar guy they can't have. Dak Prescott turning the ball over. They need to have him protecting the ball. They can't have you know some of these. Occasional Amari Cooper focus drops. You expect injuries you deal with those. What you can have is all of that and then along in the secondary, you can't have guys just making really low I q reads and busted covered just stuff that doesn't seem to be a factor of trying to learn a new defense. This just seems like flat out low I q stuff of not recognizing who's assignment is who's You know I think back to Jalen Smith's comment to a about. Throwing it out through a little bit. Maybe they need to simplify the playbook if our fans aren't familiar with that one, let's play that one real quick. People, find beams the defense could innocent the group. Absolutely. Absolutely. I. Believe. Allowing more allowing US more opportunities to Hound in on what? We're actually going to run in in our game plan. I believe it's important. That each and every player knows in and out what they have to do. With a smaller playbook, you you know gives us better opportunity to do that. And like I said this about as growing each and every week. On coaches are the same page, the players on the same page and we're just trying to do whatever it takes to get that much better. Each and everyone is that players that aren't capable of learning the playbook or is it possibly too complicated? I don't know but I, got to tell you for all the people that wanted Rod. Marinelli Outta here have been overly impressed with Mike Nolan's defense. Again, injuries are an issue, I mean you lose Gerald McCoy loosely Van Deresh. You lose your to starting Corner Anthony Brown, and Lucy, but even they were healthy in that first game. I didn't think this team look that good. No, and you know it's again it's one of those things where not even a mention he's been healthy for the season but Jordan Lewis missed all the camp. I. Sale. Yeah. Exotic Woods was a big part of your problem last Sunday against the seahawks but I think overall everybody's got to step up. You know it's funny. We had Had the funny line during training camp. When asked him do you think about opting out at all and he said, Nope, contract to your baby and there's a lot of guys back there right now in contractors Jordan Lewis Cheeto you've got exertive your woods is another one. And it's fascinating that they're seeming to have these issues not just with again, the adjustment or or or skill players opposite them it's they're just dropping the ball in terms of. Knowing really basic fundamental stuff that that should have been all ironed out already and and you can say, maybe that's a a an issue with you didn't have some of the same lead up time or some of the same work that you would normally get but everybody had those same sort of issues and and not everybody is having these same sorts of just busted coverage touchdowns. I. Think there's four already on the year that were just left wide open by somebody not knowing an assignment including three last week against the
