"It rams i tell you man. Rams are machine sean. Mcvay i mean cooper kupp and robber woods are open every play. Yeah like i'm finally glad that i they. They figured out that that's something that money be beneficial to them. It almost feels like mcveigh's been kind of out thinking himself in recent weeks. And you know as i've mentioned multiple times on this podcast i never once said the ram offense was bad but it just seems like they were trying to get to many players involved. They were trying to run the ball. Maybe just a little bit too much. And it was stalling. Drives and leading to either premature ponds or field goals and then against the buccaneers. A good defense. Mcveigh's like what cooper kupp and robert woods. These guys are pretty good. Maybe we should throw it to them. I hope that continues because this is the rams team that everybody drafted the team. That wasn't unnecessarily throwing the ball to to josh reynolds. A four hundred times the game or running thirteen tight end sets in mixing in seven different running backs. They threw the ball. They drop bear. Got back Got quick pass to cup. Woods took their shots down field now with company woods. They have been a little bit underwhelming for fantasy this year. But i don't know how you can sit them coming off of that game. Obviously san francisco as all the injuries in the backfield for the rams though may have how do you feel good about any of these guys after that. Game darrell henderson has ten touches for nine yards malcolm brown touches the ball four times cam akers touches the ball. Six times gets in his first. Nfl touchdown this is an ugly free man. Rotation now that resembles the ravens three man rotation in which. I don't wanna trust anybody for fantasy. But when i'm playing When i'm playing a jared goff cooper kupp robert woods and now gerald everett who seems to pass tyler higby on on jared gos- personal depth chart. I feel pretty good about this passing game after that performance against the buccaneers monday.

"We everybody knows that. They're probably gonna try double somebody with the two reasons why I still believe that the Rams are more dangerous and talented and schematics in a better situation are one the rents can they have the ability to play from eleven or twelve personnel. Basically meeting one tight end or too tight end. I they have the talent to play with two tight and now predominantly they play with one. I look for them to play with two tight ends in the game Sunday night. And here's the reason why when they bring the second tight end Gerald Everett on they can run basically every one of their past concepts or run game concept with that second tight end. The patriots struggle against twelve personnel. All throughout the year. They've struggled playing teams with two. Tight ends because they don't know what they wanna play it in a nickel defense and a base defense and the dime defense. They don't know. How many they want on the field if they put two linebackers on the field versus the Rams twelve personnel. The Rams throw the ball up and down the field on them because they don't match up to one of those linebackers is going to have to cover a Gerald Everett or a Todd Gurley. And then the second reason is this that the Rams great strength is their play action game. The patriots are one of the worst teams this season in the NFL defending the play action. They are the worst team in the postseason defending the play action. So I'm looking at a team that does what they do best against the team that is their weakness on defense. And then a team that has the opportunity to change a one person become a completely different dynamic team and gained a match up. So that's I still like the Rams often. Technically, Dan Roloff ski Eskin NFL analyst on the shell Pennzoil performance line. Kind of interesting. Question for you here, Dan, which Tim? To which team is coaching more important. It's a great question. Probably the ram as well. You know? The patriots have such a way where they can they can rely on the greatest of all time they can rely on experience. They can rely on the team that's kind of been there and done that. We're the Rams are so new and so dependent on Sean McVeigh being incredibly creative as an offense mind and not only like the Xs and os of it. But hey, how do you handle? How do you handle the pre-game of it? How do you handle going up seven nothing or down seven nothing or vice versa? Like all those 'cause we're gonna see great coaching. But we got it. We have to see how they handle the moments of strategic or situational football for the Rams. We we've gotta see how because McVeigh, you know, in a way got bailed out for kicking out. He'll go in the NFC title game that everyone was baffled that he kicked. Just tied up. And so I believe that not only the Xs and os for the Rams, but just handling all the different aspects of the magnitude of that game will be more impactful for the Rams. So when you look at this, and we're talking to Dan Orlovsky on the shell Pennzoil performance on ESPN NFL analyst again, you can see him all week on get up. And he's been really doing a great job. Breaking this thing down you watch so much Phil on this new break it down. So well explained to me why Todd Gurley has been less than we expect of Todd Gurley of late. Yeah. I mean, we'll part of it was certainly the injury that played..

"So that says something for that kid that he rose up in the second half, especially I know you were enjoying it. You were sitting in the bar with your brothers. But I'd like to think that you that the Dave amateur crossed your mind if you times when you saw them going with the play mastic, and that's one of the game started to kill him with it. And then they finally decided no more this and they were getting in his face. They did. But even when they got into space he was able to make the. All you gotta do just give God tangent. But that that's that one game. I won the game. Run game wasn't even that strong. Now. The playoffs was still with Gerald Everett to me looms among non touchdown plays. As one of the best in that game rolled out and held onto it. You would think he'd get impatient? In that moment, he held on waited for eighty one to come clear day. That was a huge play. Was it was it was very difficult like going in there that was this loud on TV? You can't really get a sense but talking to people that were in the building. So that was as loud as I've ever heard that stadium, and they were there for the blocked punt, you know, back when they came back from the hurricane, and it was incredible. So to kind of manage that even though it looked like the Rams didn't even have a plan for the noise coming into it that just shows you how loud it was because they clearly had a plan. It was just so loud that and I've been there. I've been in Kansas City, right? Where you can't hear what your coaches saying to you. Because the crowd noise is so loud on the sideline that when he pushes the button to talk to you. The crowd noise hits the speaker. And that's all you hear you cannot hear your coach talk. So I understand Jared goff's going through. He runs all the way out to Gerald Everett to give an audible like thirty yards away. And then comes back and he's clapping for the ball. So there was some chaos. They had to kind of battle through there. You know? And there was an early surge by the saints that if they would've scored two or three times instead of field goals that would have been a blowout. But he managed it made some big time throws and the plaques I said allowed. It's the saints or anyone else you only come away went when they kicked a field goal, and it was six hundred percents. And that's that you watch. That was that's going to haunt. I was name. I play. Oh, they didn't make that into in the satellite interception right there. And you don't come on guys that kicked by Greg the leg, the longest I've ever seen a football kicked in my life. I can't imagine anybody's ever kicked on further. But the last thing David car, I know people like to talk about the superstars, and that's why people wanted to see a rematch of fifty four fifty one and everything else. Instead what we have better worse. However, you want to frame it. Correct me if I'm wrong, this one is all about old man, which Bill Belichick versus the one who. Everybody's mimicking right now. Sean McVay that's the game right percent weighed versus Josh mcdaniels. And that's that's the game. It's the coaches, it doesn't the players don't even matter at this point you and I could play in it really could. And we'd be it would just be what are these coaches going to devise up to figure out just it's beautiful that the two best coaches in the game. We're going at each other right now. And on the other side, it's going to it's going to be very interesting. I will say all season long that is something that David car. And I talked about is the impact of in two thousand eighteen the aggressive head coaches, they play callers the innovative playcallers are what was going to win the day. And here we have very badly burned coaching the two very best Andy Reid, and Sean Payton, they they made it themselves. Yeah. Pretty much. All right. Great stuff, David Carr..

"Adam Cole because you what my ass in. The candy are league in a fantasy football league this week. I was gonna let you go first. But now now you go first what was that? Yeah. Because I lost. Yeah. In the first segment. Copeland texted me a screen shot of the final margin of victory. Twas not close. Yeah. I figured I would just remind you that I handed you that L, but it's time now for us to pick some Baba's and some busters. I got a good baller from this week. I think everybody in their mom watch Monday night football. Don't talk about my mom, not talking about your momma. I'm just a I'm assuming she watched the game. Because it was a national treasure this game on ESPN Monday night. The national national treasure in the US because it was supposed to be in Mexico. You know, everybody's hating on Jason Witten and booger McFarland. I I don't mind him. They don't bother me. The broadcast. We'll get it. No. I mean, most of the time. I'd imagine people are sitting in a bar anyway with the sound down watching the game air doesn't bother me. What part of it too. Is that I think we were spoiled with Tariq, oh and Gruden for so long proving to be a better broadcaster than football. So far this year. No, I get it. I think it's people maybe a little installs you wishing it was still them. But I'm with you. They don't bother me too much. Coming down hard on Tony Romo. Whereas I think Tony Romo might be one of the best color guys in the NFL right now. Tony Romo gives terrific analysis. I caught him though, the other day I tweeted it out last week. He said in one situation can remember the game. But he said they should definitely go for two. Then they didn't get it in and later on his second guesses them going for two. And I'm like, you literally told him to go for to I even rewound the game to make sure I heard it. Right. And then I played it back. So he told the team to go for two boys. Just now thinking about that two point conversion knows is the same guy who who said, I should I should be the guy to hold the snap for the kick. That's true. You know what? I mean. Nobody's questioning is analysis. We're just questioning Tony romo's decision making which some I felt like we question for a long time. So great point, Adam. So let's get to the ball is in the busters. I got one from this week from that Monday night game. We talk about the tight end position being thin. I know that Tyler he is the guy for the LA Rams. But this guy Gerald Everett only four targets in the ball game coming into Monday night football. He had had one catch in the fourth quarter all season long. He goes four targets in this game. All three of his catches come in the fourth quarter. He goes forty nine yards and two touchdowns. That will the workload be they're going forward. Probably not too many mouths to feed their but for this week and this week only Gerald Everett you about LA baby. That's it man. I liked that. And that's that's a strong take. And you're right. The tight end position is thin. And that was critical those touchdown catches in the fourth quarter. Nice work. All right. My Bala the week. You gotta give it to my man, tyreek hill straight Ballin. Due. Tyreek hill.

"They're trying to get the ball. They're not trying to check it down there. Golfing chicken anything down. If Brandin cooks do if Robert Wood deep if every tidying deep everything is in the only way you can get deep skip. You gotta sit the quarterback up. So everything is play action five steps seven steps dropped because they're going home run. And so you subject yourself, and that's what happened the ball come out. But I agree. I mean, I think girly should have had more than twelve rushes. And. Headboard, especially when you got a forty two thirty lead in you have a three point lead later. You just have to just use use. What you got you're making a case early this year. He was the. I think the thing for me skip is that a classic yet in the turnovers kind of kind of silly that up a little bit at the end. But you get the back and forth. I mean, Kansas City again, remember can't say the spot in New England twenty four nine they spotted them points. And somehow come back to take the lead they spotted this team thirteen points. You can't keep spotting good teams. But I tell you what even if you do spot him the one thing you can't do is turn the ball. They punish you for. So I do need to credit Jared Goff because I thought he slightly outplayed Patrick Mahomes, even though he had his two to mulch Mus turnovers. But in this case he made to clutch throws down the stretch at the end of this game that that were the kind of throws that Patrick Mahomes wasn't able to make late right aim. So that two thirteen left it gets third and nine at his twenty six and he it's Brandin cooks for twenty two yards. That's the play the game because that's a game saver right there. Because if you missed that. Throw. I don't know. If you go for it. I don't know I actually own twenty-six beg about it. That's the exact same play that schedule all move pick. You almost play do give you that. And then the forty Arthur Gerald Everett that was a thing of beauty skip that was work this guy ever. There was no discount because he knew before the snap. He had single coverage with safety Sorenson on whether they try to guy like it was going to be covered to get my teen years. One time I got fooled and John John. Also, they walked the linebacker. So we think okay. That's man coverage. They walk the line banding. They play cover two. Yup. And I ran the flat rock in what I thought was going to be a vacated because they put house outside they walk the linebacker. So with thinking man coverage play cover two I run the drag flat in the cover too. And guess what happened? My helmet went that way. My feet went up in the air in the first thing to hit with the back of my head with no helmet. Okay. They. Food him skip on that situation. Right there. You look at like, okay. That's the safety already. Go play cover to go play cover to Joe on the game with the safety attire in the way split out. And then skip he'd like McGregor say boy, if you open the door fly to come in your own source. Did he looked there? The prince position open the door ever gets a free release and over Goff sought before the staff any read it, and he threw it and he threw it right on time and right on the money, but my homeboy ain't going my homeboy going away. Boy going to win going back. Thirty seven tells he went back clear drew Brees a clear everybody'll. Let's talk about that..

"I know they like them they're quite a bit. And I know that before they traded for Brandin cooks this past off season. I was talking to members of the of the front office. They're asking them about Josh Reynolds. Hey, guys, if you lose Sammy Watkins, this was this was before Watkinson had left the. Team. They weren't sure where they traded for Brandin cooks. Right. Exactly. So they weren't sure what their wide receiver depth. They were hoping to keep a Watkins was a free agent last year that ended up not happening. But I was like hey of Watkins ends up leaving. What are you guys thinking of the position that like we have a lot of confidence in? Josh we actually think he can take the step up. They ended up being able to get Brandin cooks. But I don't think this is a fluke again. I I don't know that you see these kind of games from him and Brennan cooks left this game. He was in and out of this game a little bit here. But I do think Reynolds is much more viable than not. If you're on the field in a Rams offense in Sean McVay offense. Good things can happen. Eight targets last night. Six catches. He actually nearly had a second touchdown. Like, it was you know, an inch of his left foot that didn't quite. Bounds. Didn't quite get there. I mean, how how much are we talking about? Josh Reynolds this morning if he goes seven for eighty five and two touchdown, right? Gerald Everett hasn't protect same Maggie from the white way Gerald efforts also piqued your interest last night. Matthew three catches forty nine yards and two touchdowns. Just four targets and tell her Hegde also big part of that offense last night. But you think ever it might be something I actually don't I mean I wanted to bring them up specifically because to dismiss them because I think people see the two touchdowns and three forty nine. Oh is. But I think your your point about four targets is correct. So in in our celebrity league in our podcast, celebrity guy was playing miles teller and I needed. So gronk is my titan league. And gronk was on a bye. And it's been brutal all year too. But but I needed a tight end. And so it's a fourteen team league. You know, the warriors picked thin. So I had Gerald Everett was my was my tight end. So I'm watching this watching the game. But I'm watching that specifically closely higby plays a lot more snaps, and I knew coming into the game he had, but I thought Everett might have a chance, and I know they used. Everett in red zone packages. He got one end zone looked. So the four targets. They're got one end zone. Look, he got another one. And then he ended up he ended up catching the touchdown. But he caught that touch on a third-down play where they you know, he wasn't even in the game on first and second down if they convert on first and second down he doesn't get that. Touchdown. He gets the one long play for the second touchdown later. But again playing less snaps than higby not running a tunnel routes in this one great game. But you know, I don't know that you see the ram score fifty four every week. So I think this is he is a touchdown dependent tied into. So I just want to anyone that was thinking like, Ooh, I found something here Gerald and his amazing touchdown lesson tote tap toe tapping the sidelines. Eight talented player field goes if he goes out of bounds. You're like oh three for thirty two. Is like, oh, yeah. No big deal. Right. Right. I mean, look he did get it. Like, I said the first target wasn't endzone. Look that the golf just under through through sort of out his feet. But yeah, just you know in a game. Game in which Jared Goff through forty nine times. Only four of them went to Gerald Everett. And so I don't know that you can count on the touchdowns. All the, you know, we listen, he's he's out a nice couple of games here on a by this week. So just maybe someone to keep in the back of your nine, but not somebody. I'm going to rush out and pick up. I just want to give quick shot out to murder for dummies Mike of the man's league..

"I understand all those the snaps, but there are similarities here between him and Marquez Valdez scaling in the sense that not the number one option. Okay. Cook get lost in the shuffle, depending on the game plan, Gerald Everett, obviously had a big role Tyler higby caught a bunch of passes Brandin cooks left for a little while. I think you can get a great game out of Josh Reynolds. I don't think he's an auto flex. That's just what my I think he's full. I think he's unless you feel better. You know, NBS is out there for every snap. And he had a. I would still pick up. There was I don't think anyone in this in this wide receiver list is a why have Corwin Sutton? I I'd much rather have Taylor Gabriel. I would really we haven't even hit the name. That is is my number one guy that week is Trey Kwan Smith. Andy, Jay more. Yeah. Those two are are big pickups race one for the Norlin saints. I think this was the breakout game for him a ten for one fifty seven he scored yet thirteen targets. I mean, he was an absolute target hog this this past week and the scheduled for him is pretty delightful with Atlanta Dallas Tampa Bay are his next three matchups. I'm trick wants my number one waiver wire or number one wide receiver pickup of the week. He's probably better to talk about then Sutton or DJ more. He's he's far less than both of them. Because he had that gouzer. We talked about both DJ Moran. Tariq wants myth on the show yesterday. Rookie production goes up in the second half of the season. I would take. Yeah. I would take trae Quan over Reynolds sons probably owned in your league. Yeah. He he likelihood of him being owned is pretty high. Sure. And then there's guys like KiKi. He had a very solid game. Got nine targets five for seventy seven Maria's Thomas. Did nothing. Correct. And I don't I don't expect to Mary's to do nothing. But I thought the trade was very strange for Houston. It seemed like a panic move of willful or being out. And you're fighting for division us do brought in a wide receiver you thought could help. And Anthony Miller, of course is surging. He didn't do a ton this past week, but the Chicago Bears offense as a whole didn't really need to do anything. They were manhandling the Vikings. So all these guys are interesting, and I would go like I said Smith. Number one guy. Number two. I would pick up. Would be it would be something if he's there otherwise been DJ more. And maybe I'm missing remembering. But didn't you say yesterday? You preferred more to trick one Smith on the show, perhaps perhaps I said that on the show, but after time and digging into thing more, I I like trek on more. We got a match up between what could be the two best teams in the NFL the chiefs and Rams both nine and one on the season. Where did look like a Super Bowl preview? Everybody was talking it up this time around the game more than lived up to the hype as the teams combined for just over a thousand yards of total offense and one hundred five points as Rams quarterback Jared Goff three four on past to Gerald Everett with one forty nine remaining to send the Rams to fifty four to fifty one win over the chiefs in Los Angeles passed for four hundred thirteen yards and four touchdowns and what was the highest scoring game in the NFL this season, Patrick Mahomes. Is threw for six touchdowns. But had to pass is intercepted in the final minute and a half as chiefs fell to nine and two Marcus Peters. Kemba Walker continues to be a scoring machine for the Charlotte Hornets after pouring in sixty points in a losing effort on Saturday against Philadelphia. "What normal is? But I do know that this new age high-octane NFL. We're edging more and more toward games in which a thousand combined yards. And I would have said eighty total points is relatively common place. Not every game. But you've got the best teams in the league who are easily putting up thirty five to forty points. And when you get two of them on the field together, it's not that uncommon now to have a game in which the over is the bet we've had multiple games a season in which we've had at least nine hundred fifty two thousand yards. But here's what I love about Monday night football. We're gonna get caught up in these gaudy, shiny numbers. The one hundred five total points, which is the third most in any game in NFL history. Oh, and this is just the first game in which both teams have posted fifty thousand one total yards fourteen touchdowns, which is one more than the buffalo. Bills. Have had all season long. We're certainly going to talk about those numbers and process. Those numbers the career-high passing yards or Pat Mahomes the six touchdown passes. Which is actually the second time. He's done it in his short career. The huge chunks of yardage eaten up in the fourth quarter by the likes of tyreek hill and Gerald Everett. But if you try to tell me this game was the himmy of the new age high-octane NFL in which. Defensive players are like traffic cones. And they don't actually matter. They don't do anything. I'm going to say you didn't watch the game. And I hope you watch the game. Because it was a great game. It was really entertaining. I told you on the first show of the workweek that alma defensive girl, but I'm selling out for Monday night football. I want all the points all the yards all the nonstop scoring. I was in it for its high octane high powered and high explosive and high drama as we could possibly get. And we got that is it safe to say this game exceeded the hype that that's hard to do in two thousand eighteen with social media, and so many outlets that cover sports at plus we have way too much time on her hands. Which means we spend hours and hours and hours and hours. Predicting and previewing games. I'm pretty sure the despite the major hype machine most of us would say chiefs Rams exceeded expectations. Which is another reason why the game was special wrapping up week number eleven. This was fine. And it's the perfect way to coast toward thanksgiving already kind of set this up. Although I think if you're looking for one hundred and five total points between the lions and the bears. You might be disappointed. You might get it without can saints. The same defense is better than it was to start the year. Remember when fits magic reintroduce himself to us in the season opener in the New Orleans Superdome. Yeah. That's probably not going to happen. But a girl can dream and thanksgiving football is not that far away. Let's say I want to do some quick math in my head. Oh, we're talking about. Fifty four fifty four hours. Right. So forty eight hours, and then you tack on a few more to get us to the twelve thirty kickoff eastern time, which is where the first game will be held in Detroit. We twelve is going to come quickly good for the chiefs. And the the Rams that they've got the time off they've got the by.

"Knew Mitch holders and JV long. We're gonna have a pilasters doing this game. It's like a play by play announcers dream, not just because there's so much action. But because it goes back and forth back and forth. We had multiple lead changes in the fourth quarter alone and two of those you just heard I seventy three yard bomb to tyreek hill who had over two hundred yards that I'm quite certain powered many fantasy football owners to humongous wins. My mom's husband his name is Mike. He's the only other sports fan of the family. Really? He scored more than two hundred points and fantasy this week two hundred points and tyreek hill was massive rim. I can't remember who else was on his team Jared Goff. He Jared Goff. And tyreek hill from this particular game. Anyway, so side note, nobody really cares about your fantasy team. Amy. Tyreek hill was amazing and that seventy three yard bomb then put the chiefs back in front, right? And so we end up with this crazy back and forth affair thirty five points in the fourth quarter until the final lead change was Jared Goff, Gerald Everett forty yard or he tip toes walks. The tightrope up the right sideline into the end zone. So those are two massive chunk plays seventy three yards and forty yards. Just like that overall. The game had a thousand and one total yards and one hundred five total points..

"It is one of the best units and league, but Rogers has been killing teams his whole career like that. I feel that the special teams kind of bailed out McVeigh who got it conservative which surprised me that is a fair criticism. But I loved when the Packers are up ten to nothing controlling the game. The Rams can't do any. Anything over and over and over again on third down. So they have a fake punt. And it gives it just gives the team. And I don't know how many coaches do that. But they know they have the best special teams going, right? And then the pitting the ball on the one yard line. Former Packer Sam shields getting Hecker punt to set up a safety. It's it's cliche. But all facets really do contribute for the Rams not just special teams defense offense. But every like position group, you can see making an impact even on a day where he they missed Cooper Cup. They still getting production from Josh Reynolds from Gerald Everett making a player or two it's like it's just such a deep team. And I think the Packers have to feel better about themselves, but their schedules so tough, it's like you can't have too many moral victories. You have to start beating these good teams that are and the Rams meanwhile, they get out of here with a win. You have the saints Seahawks in chiefs over the next three weeks if you can get to your by with three more wins than you could really start talking about undefeated. I would love by the way. And it's it's. Only in the realm of possibility. Although like Greg said, you got to win some of these games backers to to make the playoffs, but this feels like a divisional playoff rematch possibility right back in the Coliseum there in New England Seattle and Minnesota in three of the next four weeks with a home game against Miami. In the middle of those are three tough road. Gotta get some dubs put Robert woods on your Pro Bowl. Ballot. This year. Do it. You heard Wes let's move on play action whence running. "Yup it's part two of the mock draft special we're sharing thoughts about baker mayfield and lamar jackson the value of three down linebackers what jon gruden should be thinking with the stick at ten and a rare appearance by the packers in the top half of the first round it's all on the ten podcasts hello and welcome to the mp ten things podcasts i'm gary gramling he is andy benaroya to we are at part two of our mock draft show we are we did one through nine actually last week because we're doing eight teams per show we're actually starting to pick ten this week but russia not sorry the mock draft we're gonna talk a little brandin cooks at the top of the show obviously has an effect on the trafton well it has an effect on on nfl football andy it does and for both teams a couple of playoff teams with drastic impact by this one move so this was a big one in this has repercussions not just directly with the teens but how you know this is a landscape change your let's put it that way well let's let's start at the ram side of this you had written a little piece on this last week on the qb you'd think cooked is essentially he's an upgrade over sammy watkins at this point oh yes absolutely i watched so the rams here's what michelle mcveigh's always liked to do and he did it in washington a lot and he has not done it as much in los angeles and that is go with a three by one set three receivers on one side an extra seaver on the other now i think they want gerald everett to become ex guy kinda like jordan reed was for them but that'll be the specialty version of the formation the main version of the formation is your best receiver is the x and every team does that julio jones antonio brown dez bryant in his heyday was always the x on the three by one and the.

"Franchise them sammy watson italy sites would alden gonzalez speculated last year they did really well in the draft taken offense of players like uh the grabbed josh reynolds laid they grabbed gerald everett who who contributed cooper cop i think was a fifth round pick this year i would think and they pick late in the first round they've got all their draft picks back now would be the time to to go heavy defense it seems like those dc that once story that matla floor the offensive coordinator who on acumen mine in the ramp sean mcveigh calls all the place and grant coordinator isn't like the whole you know the biggest deal in the world but he's an interview for the titans head coach's job which would mean they would've lost if he takes that job that that they would have lost their often coordinator and their quarterbacks coach mcveigh's an offensive coat show is that how big of a deal i think it's a big deal i mean what you hope forest continuity and you know mcveigh obviously is the main voice in in uh in jarred golfs ear but matla floor was the quarterbacks coach for matt ryan last year matt ryan last year through 45 touchdown passes this year he threw seventeen so i have to believe matla floor had something to do with that greg olson a former offensive coordinator was the quarterbacks coach this year i have to believe that he had something to do with handson coaching with uh with jared gough so yeah i mean i if i was if i was tennessee or fires anybody looking for head coach i would definitely look at matla floor i would want to steal that same offense of playbook that is works so well in washington that his work well here has worked in atlanta and now i think cow shanahan's going to run it really well in san francisco with jimmy garoppolo so yeah if i if i could get a piece of that offense i would do it i would do it.

"Doubt between tyler he'd be in gerald everett so you just even if you're trying to throw the dart saying i'm trying to pick that team where the match up his supreme you cannot go with the rams attendance i let's talk about this broncos redskins game ndc that the broncos defense they've lajes fourteen and a half points per game since we twelve let's thirdbest in the league that's more what we've come to expect from the broncos defense number one against wide receivers in that time span number seven against fantasy quarterbacks is this and then if you're missing p ryan is this just a big nerve on the entire washington offense ya it would be for me i don't i didn't like pieroni even before the groin injury you add a groin injury on top of that so let let's say pierre uneven he plays he guts it through and he's got a groin injury right can you have any confidence that he place through that game or anything like yeah and in the broncos have their defense has been recovering the beginning better you can you can you play p run i don't think he can ebbe i got you've got down to options right but but you guys were far more bullish on p run that when i was pumping the brakes on it but now that the groin injury is a factor if you're looking for upside you're not gonna find it in some measure appearing this week i think that's really the answer i mean i'd rather be playing a player like the other side cg anderson who who had massive volume and actually some success i feel like i'd rather go cg anderson and somebody pm would you be in that yes oh i was in their care before the the uh the growing.

"Just you know really has as designed this offense to put jared gough in the best situation now i will tell you that adding personnel around him has been probably the biggest key for a young quarterback whenever you have a running game as the young quarterback it it certainly helps your production and we're todd curley that's one of them you also look at the office of lyon the rand's went out and got andrew whitworth in john sold in they're they're center improve that offensive line then you go and look at this at the special positions you got the outside receivers you got an a tight end in gerald everett got robert word sammy watkins who perk up i've i mentioned all these because of a young quarterback when you have talent around you if it's really easy to manage a football game put the put the football in other guys hands and let them make place one thing that the judge that the giants have to be aware of today that the rand's are very good at it on third down there they are operated a close to a fifty percent diversion rate on third down that's not about scheme and that's about being smart with the football while their number one of the nfl all of that category so that's is forty two plus they're also number two of the nfl it's scoring per game where royalty points per game now you did a great job laying out all the personnel that's a big reason why gotha the offense has take it a step forward i want to focus here though want tart girlie who you just mentioned he's a runner he's ineffective guy on the ground but jeff what stands out to me is he's tied with robert woods they're number one wide receiver for receptions you have to worry about him catching out of the backfield as well and not only catching the football is what he does with it afterwards he's a big guy he's going to break tackles get already gets yards after catch that's all part of their scheme that's all part of.

"And he's got a good chance this week against the chargers who frankly have looked bad in rainy season so and in the big thing is and and i think this is makes all the difference in the world and i keep going back to what eric davis said which is that no quarterback would have survived with the rams had last year with rob boruses offense of coordinator in a very limited playbook it was like a restaurant menu the her so there were so few plays and that thing it was conservative to death but you all the sudden get sean mcveigh whose an offense of guy and whose tutored along guys like kirk cousins as your head coach matla floor who was the quarterbacks coach in atlanta for matt ryan is your offensive coordinator greg olsen as your quarterbacks coach you've got great guys in a jarred god's ears um and you know the throws were accurate the decisions were good uh the footwork was good he was able to move the pocket when he needed to any through two seven different receivers by the way what is a really good sign cup really jumped out obviously again he's going to join us 115 the other god junk i think sooner gnat raimondo plo video kanga and the other guy that i thought was really impressive was the rookie gerald everett who they took out of south alabama he had a couple of good catches for them too low and allied app you here on everett is they're going to try and turn them into what jordan read were asked with the redskins carr's that to mcveigh had at the redskins pretty i mean look like even as we're having this conversation it's all a priest father novice all basic throws wait till defense actually uses something other than a basic defensive scheme.
