American Greatness Senior Contributor Julie Kelly on the J6 Witch Hunt
"And we are joined by Julie Kelly of American greatness, Julie. Welcome back to the show. Hey, Seb, thanks so much for having me on. Let me just put to you straight away the obvious naive layman's question that we've had what more than 700 people hunted down, arrested more than a hundred, I believe, your correct me more than a hundred still confined in political prison cells, not far from this studio. Mostly on menial low grade charges, such as trespass or the obstructing an official process charge and we have a lack of a similar response to the violence being done across America in the names of social justice, BLM, antifa or abortion. Is that a silly question? Am I, am I? Am I missing something Julie Kelly? As usual, savvy you are not missing a thing. You're way ahead of everything as usual. So yes, oh, I will correct you on one number, though. I believe we are up to more than 850 Americans who have been hunted down by this DoJ. They just arrested someone yesterday, said we're here 18 months later, and they are still hunting down capital trespassers, so subjecting them to FBI raids in one case last week, the FBI used an informant to get a man to talk about what he did at the capitol and he was charged with three misdemeanors. This is the crusade, this dragnet, this witch hunt, I believe they're trying to a thousand total January 6th defendants before election day or campaign season. They think it's some sort of talking point. But yes, we have that part of the dragnet witch hunt going on regular Americans. Then, of course, you have what we're seeing recently, which is the roundup of political figures such as the head of the Arizona Republican Party, Georgia Republican Party, and then of course the FBI raid of Jeffrey Clark's home, and the really egregious confrontation by FBI agents with Doctor John eastman stealing his iPhone before showing him a
How Chip Lake Became a Political Consultant
"Let's start off chip. One sort of give a little bit of your background and how you got started and all this. And the good part about it is almost like up front here to sort of keep us both out. Neither one of us are in this cycle really. I mean, we know campaigns and we've helped some others, but for the most part, chip and our experiencing something neither one of us experienced in a long, long time, and that is the ability to just talk about these campaigns without being indirectly involved in them. And I think I know from my perspective, it's been a refreshing. I know talking to you if it has been for you as well. But how did you get into this? It's a great question, Doug. So as you had mentioned, I went to auburn and I was to age myself. I was an auburn in the early to mid 90s. And long story short was a member of the college Republicans at auburn. And we had a state party chairman from an adjacent state, Georgia, come down to speak to us at one of our chapter meetings on, I think it was Tuesday night. Because his daughter was a member of our was a member of our college Republicans group. And that person was rusty Paul, who was the state chairman at the time for the Georgia Republican Party. He since went on to become a state senator. And now he is mayor of Sandy Springs. And I walked up to him after the after he gave a speech and I asked him if he had any internships available. And he said, absolutely call, you know, call me, you know, next week and we'll get you set up. And the reality is the rest is history. I was a political science and public administration major down there and I really didn't know what I wanted to do for a living. And, you know, I'm 49 years old right now, and I still feel like I'm in that position, you know? I mean, as you mentioned, this is my first cycle. Really, since I was a teenager, where I haven't been directly involved in the campaign. And it's been it's been a lot of fun to be able to watch this from the

"This part of the state with that fair fight thing. And I'm just fed up with her. But if the right person don't run against Brian Kemp, which I don't believe, Brian Kemp will win, the reason I believe that is because I feel like he let us Jordan's down in the presidential election last year. He didn't stand up for the ones that believed the election system was flawed. So what's your, so you get to decide what happens here, Billy. Who would you like to see running on the Republican side? You think it's Vernon Jordan or Vernon Vernon Jones? Yes, I do. He was a previous Democrat that has turned strong Republican and I believe personally, he's already thrown his head into the ring from my understanding. He's already had signs. So that being said, I believe he would be the right person. All right, look, it is fascinating, and it's going to be fascinating to watch how Georgia unfolds. This is it's a big mess. I'll tell you that right now, it is a big mess, and I don't think they really took the time. The Georgia Republican Party, I don't know if they've taken the time to understand what truly happened with loeffler and perdue. Billy got a skedaddle here. Billy says Vernon Jones is the guy in Georgia. 8 four four 747 88 68 that's our toll free telephone number. 8 four four 747 88 68. This is the Todd starn shoe. It's the Todd Starr's radio show. Oh. He joins me this morning. Good morning, Congressman Collins. How are you? Going? I'm doing well this morning is he knows Best the best weekend today. What have you been doing since leaving Congress, Congressman And how do you expect to spend the next year in two Well, we've been since simply because you know course we finished up and woodwork transitioning from an office getting people together. But it also looking ahead to what you know we're wanting to do And that is again looking is this new administration comes in. I mean getting ready to hold accountable for the first time in Georgia and Most 40 35, plus years where have to Democrat senators from Georgia was working very hard to make that not happen. Unfortunately, that did happen, And so you know, we're looking ahead to the future of building on what was done in the last four years of making sure that things like criminal justice form, you know, immigration report. These kind of things are not left to a To the to the whims of a new administration and making our case like that. Congressman if you ruled out running against Pastor Warnicke in two years. No, I'm not Have you ruled out running again, But I'm not ruled out anything. Yeah, I was wondering, Have you ruled out running against Governor Kevin? No, I'm not ruled out anything. We're waiting right now. We're getting our breath again. We're catching it up. You know everybody be sworn in today. The senator will be 14 days bases first day for it. Election date in November of 2022 that he's gonna have to now face the voters of George again with erected in that little record is gonna be there. And so we were right now. I'm just putting in sitting back talking to our supporters. We've been Very blessed to have and and making sure that we don't go backwards during this time. So, Congressman tell me about the Georgia Republican Party. Many state parties are in disarray. Others were in great shape. How is the Georgia Republican Party? Georgia Republican Party is is in areas of strong and another is that it needs some help. I think one of the things that I want to focus on in the next little bit. I think this is something that conservatives in general have got, folks. We have got to reclaim our position as the thought leaders we can no longer Just say that we're conservatives. They were Republican and expect voters to come to us. I did. I spoke to this the other day. I told somebody I felt like in our country. Now we sort of went to a position that we were in the forties and the fifties when liberalism and everything was dominant. And every somebody looked at conservative thought is this average thought that wasn't valid. And then all of a sudden you started having you know the thought leaders the buckleys other start coming back and started establishing what conservatives actually believe, and it began to resonate with people. I think we're gonna have to go back to our basic right now. And make sure that people understand the conservative thought is the phone that actually lifts up people empowers people in power, the country. I want to be that one of those leaders who continues to force a spirit something about that inside our party. We have a policy driven and and again focus that we actually have to go convince voters of what we need to do is manager's expecting them to show up Congressman Collins. I also want as a Republican my entire life for technically competent people, drawing the district maps that will be forthcoming. From every state legislature that is not seated there power to so called non partisan redistricting commissions, the constitutionality of which I doubt in the first place. But do you have confidence in the Georgia Legislature when it comes to drawing and to the governor participate in that process in Georgia? Yes, I do. That is the one thing that we have happened in Georgia that we had. I am proud to say that we did. We kept Republican governor two years ago. Although safe, Haven still thinks she still is, But should we kept Republican governor? We kept a Republican House Republican Senate. So we're gonna have maps that will be drawn fairly. They're gonna be grown appropriately..

And a lot of these arguments go to the side of Purdue and Leffler actually wins in which they should win if George and Republicans show up on Election day itself. There's no question the more than three million votes that have voted absentee. It appears to lean a little bit toward the Democrats. It's up to the Republicans to once again in the comments of Chuck Schumer, who yelled right after the election, you know about it. It's America today. We're going to take Georgia tomorrow. I don't think George is respond well when in New Yorkers says you're going to take your state I don't think George is responded that well, so it's gonna be up to them. How did that statement play in Georgia? Nobody wants him to take Georgia and then change American and change the world. No one wants those kind of Changes and hopefully we will. We will Block him in Tuesday on Tuesday here in Georgia. God bless you, Dave Schaeffer. Thank you again for coming on the Bill Cunningham show happy New Year and everyone to get their work and Georgia the next two or three days. Let's make it happen. And Chairman Dave Schaeffer. Young Republicans Have Something to Say
"As a seventh generation georgian. I feel strongly about local politics. But i also feel strongly about having candid conversations across the aisle so john. I started this conversation agreeing that we can disagree and i think gino was okay with that i enjoy having conversations with people who i don't always see eye to eye like we have disagreements. I prefer those conversations so much more than i do. The ones where we're all saying the same thing. In addition to being a policy consultant. For senator kelly. Leffler janelle appears regularly on tv to discuss politics and runs a construction business with her husband. You're an entrepreneur. You're the former deputy state director of the georgia republican party. Your co founder of speak georgia and i know you from your bipartisan weekly. Tv show. you're a panelist on atlanta fox. Five the georgia gang and i am from atlanta georgia. Mostly sandy springs georgia. That's the suburbs And i was born in new haven connecticut and we moved to north carolina when i was younger and then from north carolina. I moved to georgia. So i claim georgia. I've been here now for over ten years so in this georgia has definitely raised me so I definitely claimed georgia. And what i do right now. I am a media personality. And i do political commentating. A large part of who. I am is built in all of the mistakes that i made. You know you had said something to the effect of you know you feel like you are a combination of your mistakes and near learnings can you. Can you walk me through a formative experience you had when you were young. That you feel was like an aha moment for you. Yes oh what. A lot of people don't know is that i was raised in a hebrew household as hebrew. Israelites you know. We were taught that we are direct descendants from of the people israelites. in the bible So you know you have the jewish community and then you have the hebrew community. So i i like to say hebrews or simply black jews It's much deeper for us but for the sake of explaining it So we kept the holy days we didn't i didn't we didn't have like christmas or easter that stuff only the holy days we didn't even have hanukkah so because it wasn't tally a holy day. Right so i i like to say. I'm half jewish so you get it you get it Yeah def and our family was like you get one night of hannukah like yourself right so i think you know this is something is really small but i hated it when i was a child but now i understand the beauty of it where we didn't celebrate christmas and as a child that felt really lonely but as i got older it kind of prepared me to be the oddball out and it made me comfortable like so i was in malcolm. Glad while training hours ten thousand hours by the time you graduate high school exactly exactly and we didn't wear pants so i was like the girl in the skirt who never wore pants who debt. And you know. Celebrate any other holidays and It was just like training and being your own person and values based. I exactly exactly you know. We were taught that our hope is in. God are there's something greater apart in this world that has nothing to do with politics or what we see in the natural it kind of puts you in a position where you feel a boat to Be who you are. And and not me the acceptance of a lot of people in order to do it so that was a really formative time for me in my childhood and i think as am i became an adult. Something that was really really form to me is that i got married twice before having parents who were marry for now thirty eight years and they were the first each other's first boyfriend girlfriend they never dated anyone else and their parents are right so you had that ends example of a lot of laughter. Exactly that

The court's ruling will allow drop boxes to continue to be used 24 hours a day under video surveillance until polls close for the runoff elections. Jobless benefits that were expanded for millions of Americans earlier this year in response to the Corona virus pandemic ran out on Saturday as president Trump renewed his criticism of a recently passed $900 billion relief package that includes an extension of federal unemployment assistance. The delay has not only threatened to plunge millions of Americans deeper into economic uncertainty, but it has also moved the government closer to a shutdown with the fate of an attached $1.4 trillion spending measure, also in jeopardy. Nearly five million people, including 1.3 million Children will fall into poverty in January if Congress fails to extend the temporary pandemic unemployment programs that expired on Saturday, according to a study by Columbia University. And Americans are giving to charity like never before, admits the pandemic. But with over 20 million Americans relying on unemployment benefits, hunger and poverty are rising. "We're working around the clock to prevent the Democrats from taking control of the United States Senate having a complete control of the um of the Congress. I mean, it's you know, they've made clear their agenda. They want toe expand the Supreme Court. They want to admit every island territory is a new state with two new United States senators. I mean, we will never Come back from what they will do to our country if they succeeding in gaining complete control of the congress. One of the message one of the questions I'm sure David interrupted one of the questions. We get a lot, though from from Americans, are they? Are they going to keep an eye? Are they gonna monitor? Will there be oversight? In Georgia to make sure they can't cheat, lie and steal their way into a Democrat. Senate majority. How do you feel? Is chairman of the Georgia Republican Party about the election transparency here? We are putting pressure on our secretary of state Brad Wrappings Burger. We had asked him in the general election to issue a bulletin that would allow our observers tow watch the absentee signature matching process, and he never did so. And we're demanding that he do so now in the general election. If we have to sue him, we will sue him. But I believe that's where most of the irregularities took place. I believe that the glut of absentee ballots overwhelmed the verification process. We've asked him repeatedly to do an audit to assure us that that process is working. He's refusing, but we're going to do everything in our power to, um you know the force them to obey the law, which requires that the entire voting process be open to the public. Mr Chairman. What's wrong with this Republican secretary of State here in Georgia? Everybody wants to know. I don't know. My I don't know for sure. My suspicion is that in the Weeks leading up to the general election. He spent millions of dollars on television ads saying that he himself was securing the election and he is psycho, in my view is psychologically and politically invested in this idea that the election had no problems and that that has compromised his ability to impartially investigate the problems that we've drawn to us intention to his attention. And has made him reflexively defensive about the obvious the obvious misconduct. That's uh, this been revealed in the last several weeks. He's going to shake that off. We gotta make sure that we have a free and fair and transparent election here in Georgia, and that's why we're here and I think the world is watching final final comments Chairman Schaefer real personal tragedy. Hit the Leffler campaign. I know that Kelly Leffler, her family, the whole team, All of you here in Georgia were really, really Heartbroken by the tragic car accident that took the life of one of Senator Levelers campaign staffers. "Unless it's the last few months there was a Democrat on the Democrat congressional candidates robbed. So there was a grassroots movement is that there truck from the congressional cancers that they're trying to pull people out a part of the state legislative? These were on Where were you didn't have an opponent, Democrat opponent such a Republican area so grassroots efforts is there. I'm kind of maybe pull the stripers of the low hanging fruit or the horsemen below energetic voters is there and get them out. That would have probably made her broke the state. I think that they're kind of realizing that now on also saw the Georgia Republican Party that's just involved in Georgia. Right now they are of the RNC has also has over 450 people on the ground right now, in George's, so they're mobilizing their energetic and they run. I'm a pretty efficient operation being around her dusky author of They're not listening How the elites created the National Populist Revolution. Ryan, I'm sure you've seen some of the testimony out of Arizona out of Michigan. I've been speaking to people on the ground in Pennsylvania who I think Pennsylvania. There's clearly issues. I mean, there were clearly when I say issues. I don't just mean allegations of fraud. They change the election procedure in a state where you're not allowed to do that without the Legislature, actually making those changes, So I think Pennsylvania is gonna be Ah place where the lawsuits could actually drop, drop his arm against state law, and they still have them There. That is, I mean, it's literally in the statute and says there is says how people should be allowed to vote Absentee. And these drop boxes violate the state law. I don't Why are they showing him? He's got a GOP there? You're talking these guys. Why? Why are they doing I bring it up till I'm blue in the face. Maybe I'm not speaking right people. I don't know they are And I will say one thing thing. The attorney general's office is investigating these groups that are trying to register new voters right before the runoff Because allegedly I saw this firsthand in New York City. Several apartment buildings my friends live in. They had drop. It had a literature being dropped from their hat. I was saying registered to vote in Georgia's They are investigating those groups. I don't know why they're not staying for the drop boxes. I coming from the world of campaigns. I will say two things 18 after a vote is already cast. It is extremely unlikely that a judge is going to sit there and strike that ballad simply for the fact that they do not want to deter people from voting and sit there and try to say and argued. This is not a ligament ballot. It's just the way judges usually work. Secondly, if this Georgia state Legislature right now trying to convene to change all these laws, some 60 days before Election Day, there will be a very, very hard time for me to get past. Also a judge and Children, Holly will. You can't change election law within 60 days of an election. I think that the more likely thing to do right now is just sue over. Clearly violation of the law and also for the secretary's Si's office, and I wish there was a stronger secretary of state. I asked the bones of what was this past job, he said. He was just a rich guy who wanted to be a statewide elected official. I wished that the secretary of State's office would have sat there and I don't know. Had marshals had somebody there in E mean most of those in Atlanta are counted in one giant Super Center. Have someone's that they're in and moderates. They were believed they were to leave with them. Um, that wasn't secure. They got 60,000 absentee ballots. He's after the election, and they said, Oh, we forgot to click the upload button on the computer for $60,000 to show those should have been stopped immediately and checked out and inspecting them when they were actually even put into the computer and process. All these things are extremely worrisome. I will say I do have more confidence in the Republican Senate committee being involved on the ground in Georgia than I do the Georgia GOP. But after this happens, Georgia needs to realize they are not South Carolina. They were looking closer and closer being Virginia and they need to really realize that they aren't changing state and extremely competent people can't do the good old boy system where someone's great uncle who has been loyal party becomes chairman of one of those important counties in the state, which I saw time and time and time again. We're gonna ask you this before I let you go right? And you've seen what's going on with these hearings in Arizona and Michigan, and there's one in Nevada believe will happen tomorrow. Is the case is Trump's case in your mind. Is it getting stronger? Or is it is it just disappearing overtime? I don't I don't know. I I'm not a lawyer, and I I've never run absolutely valid challenges in any of these states before. If it was New York it can't tell you much more substantial than I can do it in any of these days, I will say that Trump's tone and conversation has changed over time. You know, at the Christmas party yesterday, he's others that see you in four years. It's more likely that he's talking about running again in 2024 that he is that he will be the president 2021. What they ever see manipulating Nancy Pelosi in the House and with seemingly allegedly President Biden is going to be there. What can happen to the tax code of the southern border to religious issues that tax the regulations? American being energy independent, much less about dealing with things like NAFTA and U. S. M. C, A and the World Trade Organization, China. All those things are on the ballot. And one of the most important personages in the state of Georgia is David Schaper, and he was chair. He is currently chairman of the Georgia Republican Party. He spent about the last 20 years or so in politics. And Republican member of the Georgia State Senate for many years and for the first time and hopefully not the last time Chairman David Schaper. Welcome to the Bill Cunningham showing chairman, How are you? I'm doing great. It's great to be with you tonight and all your listeners. Great night. I give me hope. Give me faith before we go much further. Can you tell us David Perdue versus John as off good or bad is that normally when I look at the history of Georgia, which tends to be rather Republican and Jonah's office, I understand it is a big time liberal, hadn't worked a day in his life. We know a lot about David Perdue. What is the background of Senate candidate Democrat John as often what does he want to do in Georgia into the country? Look, I mean, you're absolutely right. He started 1 32 years old. He's never worked a day in his life. He's a hey produces YouTube documentary, says his For his living supposedly, but he's living off a trust fund. He's never sweated a day in his life to earn a Earn a living, and he is attached him on attached himself to the green New deal and the progressive movement and has braced you know tens of millions of dollars from People outside of Georgia from California and New York, and he's trying to Take these. They take the Senate seat. It was a three way race. David couldn't came in first place. In fact, David produced got more votes than any other candidate for the United States Senate in the history of Georgia, but he felt just a few 1000 votes short of 50%. So we're gonna be in a runoff on January the fifth in that race, and I feel I feel good about Center produce reelection chances. I really did. What about Kelly? Kelly Lefler is going to take it up against Reverend Raphael Warnock. The more we find out nationally about the Reverend Moore discussed it I become And of course, the race card to be played constantly because you'd be criticized Black liberally immediately that that's a racial comment. And of course, one criticism happened of people like Clarence Thomas. None of those wherever racial but nonetheless one of the comments and of Reverend Raphael Warnock, which is so controversial in which may sink his efforts to unseat the current say He is. He is a radical bill. There's no question about it that that race is actually a special election to fill the unexpired term of Johnny Isakson. Kelly left percenter lepers. Holding that state. She was in a 21 way special election and she, she and Raphael Warnock emerged as the top two vote getters, and that election will be decided on January 5th two I feel good about that race to the top two Republicans. Kelly left learn and Doug Collins got more votes than, uh, And walk, and, um, they got more votes. The Warnock even though they spent a lot of resource is pointing out each other's shortcomings. And and Raphael Warnock has to this point remain. Relatively untouched, but he is even though he is a Master. He is a, uh That anti American radical pastor he, uh All right. It is a very close friend and has embraced the Ministry of Jeremiah Jeremiah Wright, who was Obama's pastor in Chicago, who Um Take the famous Uh, G d America. Norman on Daddy's of that same old, you know, you know what's what's what's frightening to me, Bill and I know it's gotta be frightening to you and your listeners to is that The first time in the history of the country. It's clear that the Democratic Party does not view America as a force for good in the world. They look in America that world history and they see America as the villain. And we all know that America's the Hero of World history that there's never been a country any question the planet or any point in history. That's been more free, more welcoming, more generous, more respectful of the rights of all Americans in the United States of America, and that's truly what we're fighting for. And as far as the media the so called legitimate media and Atlanta or Phone, county or state of Georgia. In general, are they Are they publicizing and talk about the viewpoints of Reverend Warnock? Or just talking about he's he's the pastor of the church were the great Martin Luther King Jr and his father preached eyes the media covering him objectively as if they should cover any politician. Mommy, have you? Have you noticed the media covering anybody objectively? I guess that's a stupid question. Of course not. No, they I mean, look at this guy. I mean, he You know lots of people in America who go through divorces and even even pastors, but I mean he was accused by his wife of triangle. Run him over in a car run her over in a car during one of the arguments sitting up to their divorce. I mean, it's you know, this is he comes across on television is a very warm and Engaging person from this, I guess his experience as a experience preaching, But that's not the real Raphael Warnock. Somebody stretch of the imagination. Of course, I'm not in the land I have about 25 radio stations in Georgia. But what's on the airwaves? Talk about numbers of hundreds of millions of dollars. Are there persuadable voters in Georgia at this point? I don't know that there's many persuadable voters left. I think the country has polarized and this election is gonna be decided by who is able to turn out there. Their boats and Republican voters air are loyal to President Trump and We need his help to turn those voters back at four Gonna win on January the fifth and he's coming here this Saturday and I hope he comes back again and again before the runoff election is that critical Because the president he did the interview today with Maria Bartiromo of Fox. He talked about the whole election being rigged. And and I listen to Chuck Tie the other left wingers in the national media this morning on Sunday morning talk shows, and they talked about the fact it was a bike freak aided argument the president was making. In other words, Nobody don't bother to vote because it's rigged. But on the other hand, get out and vote for Purdue and Leffler and so The people of Georgia understand that's the games the mainstream media play, and they want to try to suppress the Republican vote, which course Nate Silver and all the other. All the other pollsters have certainly suppressed the Republican vote for the last two cycles, telling us that Trump can't win. And so and then what happened in 16 occurred. I think he probably one in 2020. We may not know actually, for a while. What happened there, But The people of Georgia's Sense Chairman David Schaper. How important this is to the people of Ohio, Kentucky, Texas, Georgia. The eyes of America on George, Is there a sense how important this is. There absolutely is, from the very top to the very bottom. I will tell you this, the president Well filing a challenge to the election results here in Georgia this week. And I believe that he has legitimate complaints about irregularities in the election that that could change the outcome. But But you're right. The left wing Media has twisted his legitimate complaints about Um, the conduct of the election and well, there's no no reason for Republicans to vote because the election's rigged. I mean it Z one of the many, uh, one of the many trips they play. Drive down the votes of Republican voters..

"Georgia election official Gabriel Sterling says his state is on track to wrap up a full hand count of audit of all votes cast in the 2020 election by tonight's midnight deadline. Starling, who is a Republican, told CNN today that he has not found the kind of widespread fraud that President Trump claims cost him The Election Commission little contract. It's an investigator, but there's nothing to say the outcome will be different Basic oversee the far from this on it. In January, Voters in Georgia will go back to the polls for to run off elections that will determine which party controls the U. S Senate, and we've got to political strategists who are based in Georgia with us to talk about all of this. Jenelle King is a Republican strategist. Welcome to the show Journal. Thank you. Thank you so much for having me. And Robert Patillo is a democratic strategist. Hey, Robert. Hey, thank you so much for having me also. Yes, Let's start with you, Jenelle. And let's talk about President Trump's first He's fighting Republican election officials in your state over the vote count. Is there a rift in the Georgia Republican Party over who to follow and who to believe in? Is that a long term problem for your party? Well, I wouldn't say that The president is fighting public Republican officials in the state. I will say that he's fighting in general for an election that has some questionable outcomes. But I think it's fair to say that both parties are in a very unique time. You know, we get the dams that have the inner discussions as to whether they're going to go super progressive or Try to maintain the moderate stance. But, however, you know, shaking things up a bit. It only opens doors for new ideas and new strategies. And one thing I can definitely assure you is that in Georgia even though there may be discussions around the presidential race, I know that we're ready. Republicans were 100% unified regarding the Senate race. Okay. 100% unified regarding the Senate race, But the president is is pushing regarding this. This vote count. Georgia has to certify its results by 5 P.m. Friday. Do either of you expect to see the kind of thing that happened in Wayne Cappie, Michigan last night when Republican election commissioners initially refused to certify the vote? Okay, I'll start with me. Okay. Um You know what? It's 2020. I don't think I at this point. I don't expect anything. I'm just gonna wait and see what happens. I definitely believe that And I know that there are a number of people who are concerned as to whether or not you know this election. Exemplified the highest level of integrity, but, you know, I just I have no clue what's gonna happen. Robert. Yeah, I don't think there'll be any contribute. See, I think when people people have to understand just how Republican Georgia is of the ST Georges not elected a Democrat statewide and over a decade they have a constitutes a majority in the house to have a majority in the Senate. They control every single statewide elected office in the state. You do not get have a redder state for as far as political control, then Georgia and the fact that they're having the civil war where you have the two senators trying to Demand the resignation of the Republican secretary of state. I think you're seeing a rift between your traditional Southern conservative Republicans and the Trump look ins whose allegiance lies with President Trump above party above Constitution above the will of the people of Georgia. Uh, we keep saying that this was a close election, but the margins and this election are staggering. We're talking about Joe Biden has 306 electoral votes nationwide. He's leading my six million votes in the popular vote and order for President Trump somehow. Lto, as they say, overturn this election he would need to win Alaska, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and then Joe Biden was still win of 2 72 to 68 so they would have to flip another state. Want blinds over Arizona, Nevada, Michigan or Wisconsin in order for this to happen, So if President Trump thinks that our voting system is so broken that he won this election, then it's time for a constitutional convention to to redo our entire voting system. That's the nature what he's trying to argue for. And so the majority of the people in the state of Georgia have moved on to discussion on the two Senate seats, which are going to decide the future of the United States of America in the balance of power in the United States Senate Absolutely. It's what we're talking about, and why we're talking about this with you both. Today it's interesting what you're saying, though, about Georgia being a red state and the rift really being maybe Trumpers versus other folks in the Republican Party who are not trump supporters. But do you think that there will be in effect? Trump's unfounded claims of fraud? How will that turn or affect the upcoming run offs? Are voters discouraged? Vote? Are they energized? I mean, Trump will not be on the ballot in January. Well, well, these hardcore trump voters that you you talk about show up. Well, I think President Trump is only hurting the Republicans in Georgia. Right now. Let's understand. There was an interview for secretary of State yesterday where he said there were 24,000 Republicans who voted absentee during the primary who did not vote absentee during the general election. And so in his calculation, President Trump would have won the state by 10,000 votes. If he hadn't spent six months telling people that absentee voting and mail in voting was a fraud, and so what? He's not right now by, uh, by tearing down our governor by tearing down our secretary state tear down our county level elections officials giving the Republican base no belief that our elections going to be free and fair. And that the will of the people will be the outcome if the pressing Republican voter turnout at the same time the Democrats air coming in from all around the country, the cavalry is writing in. We're having people come in from California and New York and Illinois and all across the country to campaign and hit the ground in Georgia because we understand how important this election as those two parties going, ambassador different directions. Well, let's break down one of the runoff elections. Republican Senator Kelly Lefler is running against Reverend Raphael Warnock. Here's Lefler on Fox News on Monday night. Liberals are supporting the most radically liberal candidate in the country for Senate today and Raphael Warnock and I'm going to expose that and look, it's really important War Knock is the pastor of Martin Luther King Junior's Church in Atlanta of Fox five poll yesterday said that it's a dead heat. Jenelle. How much of a risk is it for? For Leffler to go negative on war noch? Well, I don't think it's a risk to go negative. I don't I don't even see it is going negative. I see it. It's for stating the obvious and stating the truth. You know, Raphael War not can can post a minute as many commercials as he would like with puppies and showing a side of him that many people don't know what what I see is the messaging that comes from him. And it does seem a bit radical. I mean, he criticized The president's decision to move the embassy injured to Jerusalem. He criticized our police officers like Holland thugs. He also said that you can't be a believer and love God and be in the military. When I know plenty of people, including my husband, who was who are veterans and who were in the military who would win have gotten through without God. So I think that when you have when you have comments that are made like that, it's extremely extremely radical. And and that's what she's calling out. One thing I know about cinder Lefler is that her platform is very, very clear. The American dream for everyone, and that is what she wants to push is to make sure that we all have access to, um, uh, economic success. And being able to live..

"New doubt on election transparency in that state and joining us now with details of that story is Tanya J. Powers. Good morning time TJ Pars. Good morning. So what's the doubt that's being cast? Well. It would seem that the Georgia Republican Party head David Shafer to Twitter Monday night, and he basically said that election officials in Fulton County tried to pull a fast one on election night. He claims that the media and the observers told we're told that they were going to shut down the voting at 10 30. Then they kept counting ballots until one o'clock, he says. In secret there is, you know, there's Still got to be. You know, more information. Gotten about that? You know, I've not seen where this was actually the case, The Atlanta Journal Constitution, who does some amazing reporting locally there, especially in Atlanta. That you know, Election officials in that state have not found any evidence of wrongdoing. The paper says that there have been cases of minor issues caused by human error, but not you know something that It was, you know. Like a like a widespread thing. The head of the Fulton County elections, told the agency that he sent home just about all of his workers at 10 30 on election night. Apparently, a handful stayed in tow one with a state observer to tally the vote, but not to count them. They were telling them up, you know, apparently, he told the paper that The GOP was welcome to observe. Yeah, I think the words he used with gas lighting more. He said that you know, there are some who were trying to push these claims of you. No irregularities in the vote count that kind of thing. Again that these are kind of the both sides of what what's happening here? Uh then you've got. Of course, these two senators, senators who are facing those runoff in January who put out the statement that basically tells you know is they want the Georgia secretary of state to step down who was also by the way, a Republican That apparently has been kind of, you know, backed by the governor, Brian Camp, who is also a Republican. He didn't go as far as supporting him stepping down, but he did echo the criticism of the secretary of state. So you know this is this is shaping up to be quite interesting. There's also reporting from the A. J. C. That The president and his top aides pressured Senator wrestler at Senator Produce to put out that statement about the secretary of state. Um and you know, the kind of understood part of that is if if they didn't do that, he would tweet something negative about them. And in order to win a January run off, they're going to need his his base. They're going to be the president, You know, Basin and supporters to win that election. Um, so there's been a lot of speculation as to why this was something that they put out, which was kind of out of the ordinary. OK, I appreciate the report. Tanya J. Powers there, as the Beat goes on. Trump campaign continues to promise new lawsuits, too, and their question challenge an array of voting irregularities. Fox is Jessica Rosenthal, Widmore. "After the hour. It is do it. I'm joined by the chairwoman of the GOP Rana McDaniel. She had done such a great job this year. Good morning, Chairwoman McDaniel, Great Davion. Great to be with you. Thanks for having me. I do think that you're closing strategy with the president was remarkable. Excuse my voice. I've been on for pretty much constantly start two days as you probably have. You saw that Georgia was going to be close. Give us your update, please, on Pennsylvania, Georgia and Arizona Chairwoman McDaniel. You're so Arizona. We're waiting for about 400,000 additional ballots, mainly from Maricopa County. These are ballots that were dropped off in person absentee in person or early or ballots that were cast on Election Day. So these will break heavily towards the president. This is what we saw in Maricopa the voting towards Election Day when in his favour if we can win those by over 60% Is going to win Arizona, Pennsylvania. He's up two points, so there's so much that he went. Both of those states. He went so and then we have legal challenges in states like Georgia. We're just last night we had a county that suddenly found 15,000 more ballots in the middle of the night. So many of these things are happening across the country. We seem some irregularities at these election places in Detroit. They kicked our poll watchers out and boarded up the windows so we couldn't watch. These are things we're seeing across the country. So we're goingto exercise legal challenges in these areas as well. Talk to me a little bit about Georgia because I look at the Pennsylvania map, and I'm fairly confident given the western Pennsylvania boat that's still out. It can offset gains made by the Vice president. Don't know it for sure. I'm very confident about Arizona. I didn't know we were 400,000 votes out. I thought we were 275,000 boats out, but you would know better than me. Tell me about what happened in Georgia. I am unaware of that story. So it was Chatham County last night they had said they had about 4000 ballots outstanding. And then it just changed to 15,000 in the middle of the night that they said our outstanding which, of course, are not going to go in our favor. Same with Fulton County. We had a similar issue there and a cab. So Democrats strongholds consistently went once that most of the voters in could come out and say, Oh, now we have this drop of India Cabs case 114,000 more ballad, and these are the types of things Create uncertainty and and frustration with Republicans because We aren't given the transparency we deserve were not able to watch. Many of these processes take place because counties won't let us in and and it creates an uncertainty into election integrity, and we've got to fight this as a country and it's sad to see that Democrats aren't saying as they saw what just happened to Detroit yesterday when they're literally boarding up windows so we can't watch the election counting. Republicans and we have nothing to hide when they don't say that. It does create that uncertainty now Rana McDaniel in 2000. There was James Baker, a former secretary of state who oversaw every legal challenge and made decisions from one One chair so that the Republicans would not end up a stopping their own legal arguments in another place, depending on if the laws were different or not, who is in charge of this legal effort nationally. Further trump campaign. It would be Justin Clark, who is running that for them, And that's obviously where most of the legal challenges they're going to come from. And then the RNC works in conjunction and We've been sending lawyers out to the states and actually getting bodies in, so we'll be part of the canvassing process. In some of these states looking for irregularities in Georgia, you can cure ballots, so we've sent a lot of folks there to make sure that we have that ability. Democrats. Of course, they're going to do that. So, but he is the person running it for the Trump campaign and nationally. When you say you can care about Does that mean you find a stack of spoiled ballots or de cute ballots and then go through them by hand to see if, in fact they ought to be counted. You can cure using Goto, a voter who didn't put filling the bubble well enough, or there's things that they missed on their ballot and you can actually find that voter and give them the opportunity to correct their ballot. I think it's crazy. But that's the law in Georgia and Arizona and Democrats will do this. So we will do this as well on and of course, having a ground game and an ability to go out and find those voters is critical so they can fix that ballot and it can be counted. Now, one way or the other. George is going to matter a lot in January. They're going to provide the 52nd Senate seat or the 51st Senate seat, depending on whether or not David Perdue holds on to his 50%. Who runs the Georgia Republican Party. And how do people listening to show who are so inclined? We're on live in Atlanta, get a huge audience in Atlanta and in McComb and Athens, another play. How do people get help? The Georgia Republican Party? Well, I say, just help the national Republican Party Right now we're we're running. A huge legal effort will be running the recount operation and big paying for that so and also the ground game. So Goto GOP dot com or when red and donate and that's how you're going to be helpful, but they have a great chair there. His name is David Shafer, very, very good guy in Georgia, and we feel very strong about our ground game and we'll have a message to go to Georgia. In these run offs, which is Democrats. If they take the Senate will get rid of the filibuster. They will stack the Supreme Court and they will fundamentally transform our government and remove checks and balances. And I just don't think the people of Georgia are going to want that. It is interesting Hugh across the country. Lindsey Graham was outspent by 30 million. Mitch McConnell was outspent by 40 million. I mean, the list goes on, and not Joni Ernst was outspent by dump double on. We still held the Senate seats. Susan Collins. Steve Gaines. I mean, seats that they thought we were gonna lose Thom Tillis, and they threw buckets of money. And so it was a repudiation of Democrats as they're talking about, fundamentally transforming our government. We saw that across the country and even picking up House seats Esso in in many ways, and we hope the president goes our way to. This was a great night for Republicans and a tough night for Democrats because they're running on a socialist socialist agenda. That wass repudiated by the American people at this hour. I know he picked up one governorship. I believe we flipped one state legislative chambers at this hour Hominy house each net plus for the Republicans. Right now, we're five. But there are still many outstanding. So we think it could go up to 10, which you know, heading into Election Day, based on the polls that have been proven to be horrific, Lee inaccurate. We were expecting to lose 5 to 10 Ft. They were expecting us to lose the Senate and lose the presidency. I mean poles from Fox News, Tio. Quinnipiac, too raspy, said they were wrong across the board. There was not a single pole that had Susan Collins winning. It just shows you and you know it's frustrating for me you because as a party chair as they put these poles out that make it look like it's inevitable that we're going to lose. It makes it harder to fundraise. Of course, it makes it It makes it harder to turn out our vote because people think it's not gonna happen. It is suppression, and it's malpractice and it's harmful. There is a harm to it, and and we dealt with that. At the RNC, A czar donors were saying, Oh, it's a done deal. You're going to lose, and we kept saying this is tight. We can win and nobody believed that. I mean, many people believe that on our donor side and we're raising money, but we certainly had a drop off as people said Rana. You know, you're just saying that because you're the chair. You know what? We were right. It was tight. I tried to explain this last night Chairwoman McDaniel to people who are sports fans. Do you buy season tickets to the own 16 browns? Or you buy season tickets to the Super Bowl champion Patriots?.

"Brand new lawsuit filed by the Trump campaign this evening in Georgia president's campaign teaming up with the Georgia Republican Party for this filing at them against the Chatham County Board of Elections. They say they want the judge to order the county to secure an account for ballots received after seven o'clock on election night. So last night, State Party chair David Schaeffer says in a statement they plan to sue in a dozen counties in Georgia. This lawsuit already filed alleging a Republican Pole observer watched a worker take unprocessed absentee ballots from a back room. And then mix them into processed ballots waiting to be tabulated. So again, this the brand new lawsuit just hearing details about this moments ago out of Georgia right now marching between the candidates Joe Biden and President Trump in Georgia, sitting at less than 60,000 votes. Well. Earlier today, Boston Mayor Marty Walsh added his voice to the election conversation affirming a message of importance to get every ballot counting. No one should be calling to stop the count or talking about fraud or that when election workers it trying to while election workers were trying to do their job. It's the right of Americans and people everywhere to have their voices heard. Wei need to make sure that every single vote is counted. And when it comes to turn out here in the Bay State Secretary Bill Galvin says turnout this year was higher than in the 2016 presidential election four years ago, he says about 3.3 million votes were cast in the race four years ago and as of noon today, More than 3.36 million people here in Massachusetts voted in the presidential race alone. Now those numbers do not include anybody who left that section of the ballot blank, including as we've since learned to Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker. More than two million of the ballots here in the Bay State cast early, either by mail or in person. Galvin says he believes this year's state election was a complete success.
