"The court, and I'm trying to eliminate the military vaccine mandate with HR 38 60, which I wrote and introduced about 8 months ago. Now, there was a lot of concern last week. House Republicans voted with Democrats on this national vaccine database. Congressman Dan Crenshaw coming out today and really going after critics of that. He said that this does not create a vaccine database. Where do you stand on that congressman? Well, I think it's like $400 million to help the local governments collect vaccine data. And they say, like I went to some of the states because these databases are managed by the state. And even though I've heard that they're supposed to be anonymous data, they claim that the schools can use them to find out who's vaccinated and not. And I think that's bad. I think it'll eventually get shared with the federal government. And that's what concerns me congressman. Well, look, our time here is expired. I really appreciate you coming on. I'm glad you're not taking that down. This is nothing more than cancel culture on steroids. Good for you. Congressman. They can not stand it. It's the three things they hey, Christmas family, and God. Well said. All right, congressman Thomas Massey, congressman, God bless you and Merry Christmas to the Nancy family. Merry Christmas to you and your listeners. All right, good man right there folks and Jesus. I was getting text messages. Darn sure, The New York Times. The New York starts are coming after you on CNN. The most profane name in news. Ryan Negro network. Thank you, judge Joe Brown. What can you say? And you know who I feel bad? I feel bad for grace baker because you're the ones you get stuck with all the cleanup grace. When I make a comment like yes, I'm like, oh, what did he do this time here? We go again. I thought it was a great photo of them. It is a good photo. Did I do anything where I just thought it was the best Christmas photo ever? You did not do anything wrong. Somebody sent me a note. They said, really, best Christmas photo ever. What about the baby Jesus? I'm like, well, Polaroid back then. It's really it's a great photo, but I gotta say my Merlot dalmatian Christmas sweater picture is right up there too with that. That's pretty good. You know what? That fair enough that is a great picture as well. All right, so we've got the picture of the congressman and his family. And it sort of looks like a little militia, but very well dressed and very photogenic. Very much. Gotta check it out over at Todd stern's dot com. All right, before we go to break here, a little bit of news out of Georgia, where former senator David perdue has announced that he is running for governor. He is going to primary the Republican governor the sitting Republican governor of Georgia Brian Kemp. President Trump just sending out a statement a few moments ago and I want to read this to you. Just coming out literally a few moments ago. He says, wow, it looks like the highly respected senator David perdue will be running against rhino, Brian Kemp for governor of Georgia. David was a great senator. He truly loves his state and his country. This will be very interesting and I can't imagine that Brian Kemp, who has hurt election integrity in Georgia so badly can do well at the ballot box unless the election is rigged, of course. He caused us two Senate seats and a presidential victory in the great state of Georgia. Now, look, we have about ten radio stations in Georgia that carry this program, and I'm curious. Do you support Brian Kemp or do you support David perdue? 8 four four 747 88 68 toll free telephone number. This is going to be a really a nationalized gubernatorial race much like Virginia and I'm curious who do you support you folks in Georgia, Brian kepper David perdue, 8 four four 747 88 68. "General family cannot change or overturn the electors in this state. If they're elected by the popular vote on the proper day for a presidential election, so that proper day happened. That vote has been certified twice now because now is Amy Gardner, National political reporter at The Washington Post. Thanks for joining us, Amy Happy to be here. I need to talk about Georgia right now in person. Early voting began on Monday. This is for the special election, the Senate runoff. We have two seats open right there that people are voting on. It's going to be a very important one. This is well kind of determined. Really, who controls the Senate and run off elections typically see drops and voter participation. So this is Gonna be really, really important to see how it all rolls out. But beyond that President Trump has had this big fight going on with the governor there of Georgia Brian Camp. It's been laid out all publicly on Twitter and rallies and just this feud that they have going on after Trump lost. The state has been pretty crazy. So Amy tell us a little bit about what's going on in Georgia. Sure. Well, you're right. Thies to Senate races are hugely important. They they will determine which party controls the Senate and whether President elect Biden Has, you know the ability to pass legislation without dealing with Mitch McConnell and the Republican majority to block him when they see fit on D I think that you know the feud between President Trump and Governor Brian Camp is very much intertwined with the state of those two Senate states. Trump is very angry that he lost Georgia. It's the most conservative state that a lost a couple of Republican consultants and officials and strategist types in Georgia told me in reporting out this story. But they think that he's embarrassed that he lost Georgia, the first Republican to do so in a really long time and looking for someone to blame, and that's certainly a a Nemo that we've seen before in President Trump. He has admitted it quite openly that he's terrible loser doesn't like to lose and has shown us with his words and deeds that he does. Lash out at other people when he's angry, and so he's been going after Brian Camp since the election, and since it was clear that Joe Biden had one Georgia by a small margin of only about 12,000 votes. On and being very angry at him for not sufficiently, um, talking about the allegations of fraud that Trump has been talking about, even though there's no evidence that Fraud. Ah, sort of was happening in any wide spread way in big enough numbers to affect the outcome in Georgia, and he was angry at him for ultimately certifying the results after the secretary of state's office did so even though that is something that governor camp doesn't really have much power over. It's a ceremonial signature. Basically, that he's required to put on a piece of paper. Once the secretary of state's office is certified the results. There's a lot of things that he's been angry about the past. He was mad that camp chose Leffler to fill the unexpired term of Johnny Isakson when he stepped away Ah, year ago. Yeah, Exactly. That was kind of an interesting situation. This was last year when Brian came brought La Flor to President Trump just as an introduction. Say, Hey, this is who I'm choosing, and President Trump took it as a slight almost that he wasn't consulted. In who to choose, he said. Well, if you're already coming here, why are you wasting my time? Pretty much. Right, And he didn't think Kelly left. There was a very good candidate, you know, strictly like her, and he felt as though camp owed him a little more fealty. He had endorsed Brian Camp in his own primary for governor in 2018, and didn't feel as though Cos camp was sufficiently grateful for that. On Ben. He was also angry at camp after camp reopened the Georgia economy more dramatically than any other state had done so far back in April, you know, after an initial couple weeks of covert restrictions Andre. It just feels like they're really kind of mis communicating with each other, and Trump doesn't really feel the responsibility to work on. You know how he communicates with people. He's the president makes that very clear. We expect other people to do what he wants and not the other way around. And governor camp seems to have made a decision that he was going to do what he felt he had to do as governor on when it came to the election in Georgia. The case in point The other thing that President Trump asked camp to do is to order Brad Rapids Burger, the secretary of state to conduct an audit of all the signatures on the absentee ballots. Which camp doesn't have the power to do, even though he had called on rackets Burger to conduct that audit, And he also called on camp to call in a special session of the state Legislature to basically overturn the results of the election and camps. Lawyers told him You can't do that. You have to give a reason when you call a special session. And he's have to be a legally defensible reason. And there is no legally defensible thing that the Legislature could Dutilleux overturn the results of this election. They can't change the state's election laws after the fact. To apply retroactively convince election that would be unconstitutional and would be immediately challenged in court and you'd be the one holding the bag for having called them in to do that work. So he didn't do it on the advice of his lawyers, and Trump is mad at him about that. He's in a box. He's a trump supporter. It's been one of the most loyal Republicans in the country and it's like you can't win, and that's one of the important points there throughout leading up to the election. Brian Camp held rallies. All that stuff very much was the support of the president. But the election came and it happened and he has confidence in the way they conducted the elections. There. He has confidence in Rapids Burger, who you know, has also said there's no Fraud going on. So what does he do? Just because he supports the president, invalidate everything and say, Well, we made a mess. You know, I mean, he's not gonna do that. Also, he's just taking himself in the foot on that if he goes on that approach Well, you know, the other, really interesting piece of all of this is that camp and rations Burger to a degree as well are actually in positions of power to take steps. That Could have or they were that could have helped President Trump. I mean Robin's Burger leaves an office of investigators who look into fraud. He could have Chin something up and launched investigations and parroted President Trump's rhetoric and put some of his own agency behind that rhetoric camp could have declined to sign. Uh, the certification and he didn't. Um, uh And if you look around it Lot of the other Republicans out in the country who are standing by the president right now. I haven't seen very many others who are also in positions of power, actually. Taking steps that could be legally indefensible to to back the president. And so in some respects, it's unfortunate for Republicans that Georgia had a Republican governor, Because in states like Pennsylvania and Michigan and Wisconsin, you had Republican legislatures who could say that they believe that there were fraud. There was fraud and who could Sort of make these rhetorical kind of allegiance like statements, but They knew that a Democratic governor in those three states was not gonna let them actually go anywhere with that. And that was not the case in Georgia Republican governor. The buck stops with him, and he had to decide what to do. And it's really interesting to ask the question of what some of these other Republicans would or will do when it comes time to actually take action, like if there is a challenge, the Electoral College vote on January 6th in the Congress who you wonder who would actually do that?.
